The car was clean and ready to go at the requested time. The car was in good working order and reliable. The pickup and drop-off location were convenient. Customer service was good and attentive. The location for the pickup and drop off was well-lit, I felt safe.

I only have one negative opinion about TURO which is the lack of communication to the Host prior to booking. I wanted to verify some things before making the move. My last trip, I had to book just to be able to ask the host to see if I can park my car at their home and come to find out that I cannot. So I had to canceled the booking then rushing to find the other car.

The app made the process so easy. It was a great experience with the host as well. Everything you needed was right there in the app and pick-up and return instructions are super simple. The host takes pictures of the vehicle for you both prior to and after your trip. You can take pictures as well to ensure everyone is on the same page! I would most definitely recommend using Turo for any trip!

My first Turo experience was awesome, Illia is a fantastic host and his car works like a charm. Browsing within the app is easy and select the car was super easy as well, the photos and the description of each car are fantastic. I’ll definitely use the app again and if the app becomes available in my country (El Salvador) I’ll definitely use it.

I enjoy renting from Turo. Customer service is great. If I need anything changed on my trips Turo do their best to accommodate. One happy person here. I will recommend my family and friends. Owners are pleasant and cars are neat and also clean. My trips sometimes longer, I like the way everyone responds with no wait time.

I had a bad time with the car I had before the Toyota. It was great. I felt safe in it. The greatest part of the trip was Kevin and Sherri. They were great to me, I felt like I was home. Thanks guys. I had a smooth time in cars and I enjoyed it.

Andy's Autos was awesome. We have rented twice with them now and will look to do so again the next time we rent. Way better than using enterprise service. The communication via the app is top notch and easy to use. Finding a vehicle is so easy to do as well.

The experience was flawless. Step-by-step instructions helped to minimize the downtime and maximize our fun. The Jeep was in perfect and clean condition. We would do this again without hesitation. The plug-in hybrid limited our fuel costs significantly, and finding EV charging stations was a breeze. We enjoyed the unlimited miles and made great use of them.

Everything was fine. Cute car and the host was very helpful! Getting around the LA area was easy in this little car! It was good on gas and the top sliding backwards was an extra special treat! Beautiful sky blue!!! I would rent again if I ever had the opportunity.

My husband and I were on a 2-week trip to Hawaii recently and we rented cars through Turo (for the first time) on each of the 3 Hawaiian islands we visited- a RAV4 on the Big Island, a Tesla Model 3 on Oahu, and a Jeep Wrangler on Kauai. The rental process was smooth and easy with all 3 of our hosts, and each of the cars ran well, looked as advertised on the listings, and were a fun addition to our vacation. No complaints at all! We will continue to use Turo when traveling!

My husband and I rented a 2023 Kia from Hector in Portland, OR for eight days. Wonderful experience, the car performed well. Hector was helpful from pick up to drop off. I've not experienced the multiple photos necessary at the end, but understand why it might be necessary sometimes. Knowing we left the car as we had received it, I didn't focus on taking many pictures. In fact I didn't take any of the inside. The car was fine.

I had a great experience with Turo and this rental in Greenwood Village, Colorado. The transfer of car was so easy and smooth, the car was really well maintained and clean. Given what I have learned about this rental program and given my frequent travels I am considering using Turo more. The rental car companies definitely have their hands full now to compete with Turo. Similar as Cab companies have with Uber/Lyft.... Great experience again!

Taken advantage of. Following leaving “auto fleet” Turo vehicle good review, was charged $35 for leaving gas 40 km less full than when we received vehicle. User “auto fleet” in Calgary filled tank to max (which was not how we received vehicle) then charged us in full. Would not rent from this user again.

Had a great experience. This was my first time and it was very easy to use. The SUV was exactly where it was supposed to be and the host was easy to communicate with. I will definitely use this again. We even had a little problem with the airlines switching our flight at the last minute but we didn’t have to worry about our vehicle being rented to someone else.

The car was super nice and clean. The owner was informative and helpful. I will definitely use a vehicle from him again. I turned car back in to the location where I got it from and I text the owner asking if there anything further needed from me and explained how to lock the vehicle from the app.

The car was spotless. Cleanest windshield I have ever seen. It was roomy and drove like a dream. It was on time and ready to go. I had only a few issues. It wasn’t with the car. It was trying to get set up to rent the car. You could look to simplify that process more. Checking out was simple however it was pouring down rain and I couldn’t take any pictures. The car was perfect other than some dead bug juice on the windshield. Great experience and an excellent host.

Convenient and easy curbside pickup and dropoff at the airport. Garry (the car owner) was extremely responsive via texts and accommodated several flight delays I experienced (both arrival and departure). Customer service was very helpful in adjusting my pickup time when I had issues doing so via the app. Car was just as advertised and I couldn’t have been more pleased.

The trip was amazing in Destin Florida. Turo was great. It was easy to access the car and return. I will use Turo in the future for my vacations. Mike was an amazing host. I give him five stars. I have only booked twice with the Turo app and I have enjoyed both rental processes, everything was done easily, with effective communication. The cars were in great condition interior and exterior wise, wish they did away with the young driver fee for people above the age of 21 with good driving records.

This was my first rental with Turo. Booking was very simple. There are so many vehicles to choose from to suit your needs. Meeting up for the car was flawless and the return was just as easy. It’s a more personal experience than using a rental car company. Will definitely be using Turo in the future for my trips!

You need to warn people about renting a Tesla or other EV. 1) 100% battery trip life is a lie. 2) The recommendation is 20 and 80% battery life which limits drive time. 3) If you drive more than an hour at a time you will need to charge up and be inconvenienced. 4) Gas cars are better for long drives. I wish Turo made these disclaimers before renting me an EV.

First time user and it was a great experience..so easy! My host was close to home and great with communication. The car wasn't perfect but great for proximity and price. I will definitely be using Turo again in the future.

I extended a rental for 3 hours, I actually used it for 2 hours instead. The host told me it would be an additional $44 for a total of $99.64; when I returned the vehicle my total was 199.27, Turo charged me 2 trip fees for extending 2 hours. Stick with traditional rental companies. Turo is a scam & very misleading.

Our reservation on turo was cancelled 22 hours before the car was to be picked up. The reservation was made 2 months prior. Turo could not provide a vehicle of acceptable size. They also could not verify that any vehicle would be available upon our arrival because it was such short notice. Their suggestion was to fly cross country and hope their would be a vehicle there for me and my family. I was forced to book a 3rd party rental car which cost me an additional $1000. Turo offered only $250 as compensation. Leaving me with the additional $750 the day before I left for my trip. It also took over a week, and multiple attempts by me (was told 72 hours) for a supervisor to contact me. Avoid at all costs.

Needed a car. My car was in the shop. I will use this service before I will rent from Enterprise. Great job. And the car I picked was great, clean and Ms. ** was very nice and I will use her car again. The car was well kept up. I will buy me a Chrysler 300.

This was my first time renting a car with Turo. Key reasons to choose Turo vs. standard renting was the ability to have the car delivered to my home and return the car from my home. I was impressed with the vehicle selection and pricing, as it was far more desirable than standard renting companies. My car and host experience was outstanding.

We chose Turo because it was cheaper and we could pick our vehicle. The process was very easy. Our car got switched at the last minute for a different color but same model. Car was a little sour smelling but we picked up a car freshener and it didn’t bother us the rest of the trip. The pick up and drop off was pretty easy and we had a place where we could wash and vacuum for free before returning and we were happy to do that. Would definitely use Turo again!

Our trip went well, in part, because of our car rental with Turo. As facilitated by our car owner Ian, our Pick-up & Drop-off at Appleton Airport went smoothly. Lockbox was easy to navigate. Subaru Outback was a comfortable ride. Had never heard of Turo before but will certainly rent with Turo again.

I have had more than one positive experience with Turo. It is a far superior option than rental cars for my style of traveling. Great hosts and car selection. My one suggestion would be different location options for pick up and drop off. Pick up and drop off process is otherwise very straightforward and safe. The app is also extremely easy to use. I have not had any glitches and my overall rating is positive.

Overall I had a very pleasant experience. Communication was good, and there was no wait to pick up the car at the airport. And checking out at the airport took less than a minute. The Honda Pilot that we rented was perfect to fit our needs. We had a weekend planned in Nashville with 7 friends. We all fit comfortably in the vehicle. Pick up and drop off were simple and easy. The host sent detailed photos of where to pick up the vehicle. I would highly recommend renting from this host. He replied to most messages almost instantly.

Turo was awesome to use as far as looking into your phone and pushing the right buttons to find the vehicle you need and the owner of these vehicles are soo cool and some will work with your needs so as far as my needs to getting where I want to be Turo is the best way for me to go.

This was our first time using Turo. We were very happy with the great customer service provided. The car was ideal for our purpose (needed a pickup to help move some boxes and light furniture) and it served us well! We are very grateful for this app and the owners of the vehicle.

I've only utilized world twice in both times. My host was awesome. He was very friendly and communicated well. The vehicle was clean and to our liking and it was great on gas both times. Smooth transaction. Would definitely do it again! Only thing is I wish there were more vehicles that offered unlimited miles close to me. I don't know if that's something that the hosts don't do because of the cost, but it would be nice.

Great experience, only had one experience where the car was dirty and the owner was a jerk, a BMW in Seattle, Wa. He was a manipulative and his car was extremely dirty and claimed I didn’t fill the gas. I don’t recommend him. However I’ve rented in several other states and had great experiences.

The host Kyle was awesome. He was great to work with. We adjusted the dates and times and he was very accommodating. I had a car that did not have any problems. The car had good gas mileage. The car was reliable. I think anyone would enjoy driving the car. The car was just right for two people. The luggage space was small but adequate. Despite small size good viability. I would rent the car again.

Great trip with the exception of equipment issues with the vehicle. The owner addresses the vehicle’s dead battery within about a day, but we had to pay to jump start the vehicle twice at $20.00 each. Also, the key fob battery deteriorated and has to be replaced by us at a cost of $10.00 for that 2032 battery. We realize that these things do happen, but felt that we should have been reimbursed for our costs.

The host Ramon and his assistant Alex demonstrated the utmost professionalism and courtesy that anyone could imagine. They were accommodating with all of my requests and did not hesitate to reach out to me in a timely manner. The vehicle was very satisfactory and reliable. It was clean both inside and out. My group had a wonderful experience. Kodiak is not a high tourist destination, so finding a suitable and reliable vehicle is paramount. Standard airport rental companies could not meet my needs. Turo is a welcomed and necessary service for visitors to Kodiak, Alaska. This was a huge benefit to the vehicle owner as well as my group of five.

I am disappointed that I would be extra careful with Ulga's car. Barely driving it just to receive a message saying something about damages just to get another 500 dollars out of me. I came to Turo because I was told they were reasonable with their prices more affordable. I am a very careful driver and especially driving a car that’s not mine. This bothers me deeply.

We had a great trip renting a vehicle through Turo from Britta **. She was extremely fast in responding to my questions and very patient because I had quite a few. This was our first time using Turo rentals and we would do it again in a heartbeat. This way you get the vehicle you pick out instead of being at the mercy of a car rental agency. It was seamless. She even threw in extra bear spray for us!

Justin’s 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan we used in Alaska for our 10 day trip worked out perfectly. Plenty of room for 4 adults with all our luggage. Very clean and excellent gas mileage. We drive it as if it was ours at home. Went from Anchorage to Palmer to Soldotna. Handled all the hills well!!

Easy pickup at trip end. Clear communication from the owner. Car was new and in perfect condition. We liked being able to select the exact car that we wanted. It was exactly as advertised.

All went very smoothly. Our car owner responded quickly and thoroughly to any questions that we had. Way better than waiting at the airport rental counter for long periods of time and seeing hidden fees when coming to the counter. One suggestion - there is no way to see or request rental charges for longer term rentals, such as a monthly rate.

Visited Atlanta for four days and three nights and rented the vehicle and it was a great experience other than the oil change indicator came on and the vehicle seems a little sluggish at take off, but other than that we got back and forth with no issues and we got around all weekend on that one full tank of gas which is always a plus.

My rental experience with Zach D was awesome. He accommodated a date and a time change and was great about it. I recommend him to all my friends. Other Turo renters have big shoes to fill if I choose to rent from some else. The Turo app is easy to navigate and works well.

The process to find a replacement vehicle and have the payments transferred to the new host was simple and easy. New host was great. Host was quick to respond, professional and punctual. Kevin had a 2024 Hyundai Tucson for rental on my Labor Day trip to Daytona. It was clean, comfortable, and a great ride. I will never use another car service again!! I was able to have unlimited miles too. My car came with a full tank of gas, room for 5 people in the car, and fit all my luggage just fine.

Great experience, but I give all credit to Mr. ** as he communicated excellent and helped us tremendously as this was our first time using this service! Recommend Turo especially if all vehicle owners are as competent and caring as he was. Additionally, the vehicle was in immaculate condition and ran great. Like new and performed well. Was easy to find, easy to access and easy to turn back in. No time wasted or lost.

We rented a car from Turo this past trip. We had lost the key to the vehicle on the first day. We were hundreds of miles from our home. Turo did not have a clear direction on what to do during this situation and we had to very much figure it out ourselves. We contact the nearby dealers to locate one that could help us. The key was supposed to be made in a couple of hours but the new key did not work because of an unforeseen defect to the car. We were in communication with Turo and the host regarding this. We did not want to become liable for towing the defective car back to its host and we had already lost a whole day. We paid for the dealer to work around the defect which was an additional $700.

I had a great, hassle free experience with renting my car!! Great customer service. I would and will definitely use this service again!! Everything about this experience was great! The only thing I wish I could’ve had done was pick up the car at the airport. I had to catch a cab which was a little pricey.

Turo was very easy to setup, use and even rent a vehicle from someone. The only issue I have is all of the hidden fees at checkout. I understand the fees but wish it would be added to each listing while browsing for a vehicle. That way you're not surprised at checkout.

I love this company. On my third rental now with this company. I only had one issue when booking a car that wasn't available but the money was already taken out my bank account. So Turo quickly offered me replacements and paid the difference for the car I had chosen. The customer service rep that helped me over the phone was awesome! I believe her name is (Laurie). She actually reached out to me before I could call her because I was pissed at first & very disappointed once I reached my destination and no car was there. Laurie made that up, even reached out to the host to try to get it to me as quickly as possible. I will definitely keep renting from Turo

I was recently scammed by the owner and Turo did nothing to address the issue. Somehow a tiny piece of cigarette wrapper ended up in the van and the owner assumed someone smoked in the van without any evidence of actual smoke or smell. I had 3 children in the car and no one in the group smokes. Turo automatically sided with the owner. Very disappointed with all parties. Will not use again.

Jabari was a great host, the car was fun and awesome at the same time. We got so many compliments in his Vette that it was unbelievable (a lot of people thought it was a Ferrari). I would definitely choose Jabari again in the future. Thank you very much Jabari. You were great.

Robert was great to work with. The vehicle was clean and well maintained. Would rent again from him. Robert was quick to answer questions and had good advice/suggestions. If coming from the airport to pick up car Uber is your best way. The vehicle was easy to locate, he sent you pictures of it. On arrive to vehicle you take pictures of exterior and interior and post them to him and same on return. Easy to do.

The best part of this experience was the interaction with the host, Anthony. He and Anke were so communicative and friendly and helpful. The car was great, and to be honest, felt better having a well-worn car to not stand out like tourists! Pick up and drop off was also very simple.

Transparent safeguards during the check-in /check-out processes offer protection for both the car owner and renter inspiring user confidence. -- Any hesitation I have using the service again, are concerns stemming from a potential lack of effective communication between the car owner and renter. In my day-to-day experience as well as with the Turo app, when SMS/text messages are written in haste, the clarity of the message is often lost due to a lack of detail and broader context. If either party did not provide clear focused correspondence and timely instructions, the overall customer experience would devolve rapidly. Fortunately this did not happen in my experience, but one happy car rental and trip doesn't guaranty a second.

The car was great. From beginning to end everything was outstanding. This has a more personalized feel, so much more inexpensive than those coorporate outfits & much more personalized. This was what really made our trip the best! Our host was such a great help and so kind all through our little journey. Even the months leading up to the trip, he made me feel welcome and safe that everything because was going to be great. He was so right! I will always look forward to using them and Turo in the future. I’m so happy we did this!

While renting Scott's Smart EV was great and did the job as requested, we are not familiar with EVs and the requirement to return at full charge was stressful as we are not familiar with these services. I would suggest removing this requirement to return at full charge for EVs or provide guidance on how to do so.

It was wonderful, the host LaTanya D was excellent. The experience itself not have to put a big down payment or deposit like regular car rental agencies - just pay the full amount of trip, knowing there are no extra cost or hidden fees. I love it - will use TURO from now on.

Renting a car thru Turo was extremely easy. A friend recommended it to me so I tried it on a recent visit to PA. Get off your plane, go straight to your car. Morris is very good at explaining everything. I was a little early at returning the car so had to text him, didn’t have an email about end of trip so I could upload photos but he did it for me. Very helpful!!!

It does exactly what it says it will do. Best app ever. I came across this app by accident while looking for a Hertz’s. Best find I’ve had in a long time. I will never rent from anyone else. I’ll be trying it out in Canada next summer for my vacation.

It is my first time renting Turo and have a good experience but only one thing is locate the SUV on the parking lot blue. Brett it is easy to communicate with him in regards any questions we need. Also he have a nice SUV and I will recommend to anyone to rent with Brett. Thank you.

Our son travels a lot and told us about Turo so on our latest trip that’s who we went through. The app was easy to use and we heard from Miles right away. It was a great experience. Miles had the car ready to go. It was very clean. We will definitely rent through Turo again and highly recommend Miles.

Hi, I am not great on apps, etc. but was interested in this service. I found the cutest car, a Miata convertible, to rent when I went to California. I was pretty nervous about how all of this would work but it was not too bad. The host was very helpful and gave lots of good information up front. I was able to change to an airport drop off when I realized I would be running short of time. The car was an absolute blast! Fun to drive, good pickup and great on those California curves. The top down was the best. Clean of course. I had not issues with the car and really enjoyed having something different. The drive from SFO to Monterey was beautiful and the fun little car zipped right along. I would rent this baby again! Thanks folks for use of this little guy -- it added a fun dimension to the trip to visit my daughter.

My first time using Turo and I don’t think I would rent a car any other way. The car was clean. Josiah was friendly and so easy to communicate with. Pick up and drop off was very simple and I will definitely be using Turo in the future. The minivan was clean, was well maintained and had a full tank of gas. It accommodated my family and I perfectly for our trip out of state and also had unlimited miles.

Went to rent a car for a short trip up North.. It was a decent car at a decent price and I thought - "Oh let's try something beyond the usual rental car companies." Never will make this mistake again. Picked up the car pretty easily and that was the last time the word 'easily' or 'easy' shall be used. The guy said nothing on how to work the basics of his car. No manual on how to even turn on the lights. Some strange blue lights started flashing inside - no help. I ended up having to take time out of my rental time period to stop by a Ford dealership and get help on this. Also, dude doesn't know how to work his radio - which of course he failed to mention didn't even have Satellite/Sirius - but says it's a new radio so he doesn't know how it works..so neither does Ford. That was fun.

This was my 1st time using Turo and I will only use it in the future. Great experience. The person I booked with had a great review. My husband used the same car a month before me and now we will always try to use the same person. I gave him a five star review also. I always read reviews beforehand to make a good decision.

It was an easy process. The Denver airport is complicated and there could have been clearer instructions, however, it was still communicated well enough to find the car. The car was in good condition but the check engine light did come on at the end of our trip. It was a better value than rent a car services.

Host tried to scam me for a massive scratch that was already on his car prior to me taking possession. I found out because in his pictures he uploaded, the scratch was there and when I returned the car he went immediately to the damage. He saw I did not purchase coverage and thought he could scam me but I did not let him. Then he left me a 3-star review based on this and now my account is viewed negatively because of a bad review on something I did not do. And now I can't change the review and it is just disturbing there's nothing I can do after being scammed with a host.

I love the Turo way of renting a vehicle, but I don’t like the fact that you’re only covered up to 600 miles. We went 82 miles over and it cost us an extra $214.00 so we paid over $400.00 total for our trip which I could have very well done with Enterprise. I thought I would save money but I didn’t. The owners of the vehicle was very nice and responded to all my questions rapidly and it was an easy transaction. Next time I’ll be mindful of the miles. If I know I’ll go over 600 miles, I’ll just rent from Enterprise to keep from spending extra money.

This was my first ride with Turo and it far exceeded my expectations. Our host was kind, timely, and very responsive. We asked for an extension because we were running behind due to holiday traffic and our host approved our request without any questions. Additionally, the car we received was clean, safe, reliable, and very good with gas. I will definitely be using Turo again and have already recommended it to some of my friends.

Great experience with my rental. Everything was on point with this rental. Pick up and drop was made easy at the Long Term Parking. The vehicle was brand new, clean and smart. Clean and a fast car to navigate traffic, for the time we made trips to Oakland, Sacramento and surrounding areas, still spent less $25 in charging.

Had a great experience getting the car. The car was missing a car seat but the car owner had it brought to us within 15 minutes. The car was also infested with bugs but we let the owner know and she said she would bomb it for the next person. It was a little nerve wracking having bugs crawl everywhere for the entire trip and especially on my baby BUT when I contacted the owner she said they had never had problems before so I viewed it as an acute situation where she responded quickly. I had only seen good reviews!

He was wonderful with assistance on anything we needed and for it being my first time it was a fantastic experience. He is thoughtful and the car was immaculate. We had an issue and he right away fixed it. I will definitely rent from him again. Thank you for such a fantastic experience!

Rented a Tesla for our first Turo rental In Honolulu. Everything was very easy from the pickup to the drop off. Communication was easy with the owner via the Turo app. If you haven’t driven a Tesla before, it’s pretty damn cool. Although, I keep forgetting to turn off the regular cars that I’m in now! Hahaha. Will definitely recommend.

Rented a big van for our family of 10 in Soldotna Alaska and it was great to be able to all be together traveling. Roomy enough for all of the people we had and the luggage all of us had. I would rent again for sure and the value was worth it.

My first Turo! This was a family trip to Molokai to explore the west side of the island. The traditional rental agencies were a bit higher, so I tried Turo. Car was clean and fun to drive. Easy in and out. The interaction with the owner was simple. Car was easy to find and was very close to check in. I have been hearing about Turo and Will do it again.

Needed a car in a pinch for a trip in Phoenix. Had never used Turo before, but a friend recommended it. The vehicle was incredible, and it was WAY easier than dealing with a rental car company. The vehicle owner was incredibly patient with me (it was my first time using the service)... but everything from pick up to vehicle return was easy to understand. Happy with the choices of vehicles and ease of use with the app. Prices seemed in line or a bit more expensive than typical rental car but bypassing the counter and convenience is worth something to me.

Our host were exceptional. This was my first experience with Turo and they made it a wonderful experience. Their vehicle was like new and better than the national rental brands vehicles. As a person that rents several cars a year this was one of my best experiences with reservations and looking for type and pricing was at least $150 less for the same number of days. We rented with Camilo and he was amazing to work with especially for our first time rental without a big name car company. Host should be liable to let parties know in details if their cruise control works or not. I would not have rented the car that I rented if I knew the cruise control did not work. I drive just under 3k miles without cruise control. Trust me. It sucked.

I have had a wonderful experience venting on Turo with a terrific selection of cars and excellent service from caring hosts. The prices beat the traditional car rental services every time. And there is excellent insurance at a great price. The fees are low and the cars usually include a lot of mileage. I love that it’s a personal experience and on my situation, I rent often from a veteran Marine, who runs this as a small business with many cars. I feel like my businesses appreciate it here. I’m offered many discounts as well on trips from my regular hosts. It’s easy convenient and a big savings to me as a small business owner. I recommend it to everybody.

I love it but the taxes and fees are too much and all the money I spent at least Turo could give me a few discounts. At least August alone I spent well over close to $2000. I mean, don’t get me wrong. I like Turo. I think Turo is better than Enterprise.
