I found out about Turo through a cruise forum and read it was a great source to use. It really was a great and and affordable experience for us! We traveling to Juneau as part of an Alaskan cruise and needed to rent a car to venture further from the ship without paying expensive cruise excursion prices. We rented a Subaru which was perfect in the rainy weather. The auto owner Jason T. was wonderful to work with. He was a great communicator from start to finish and we were even able to get the car earlier than planned when our ship got into port earlier than scheduled. His vehicle was exactly as shown, clean, and we (a family of four females) felt safe using it.

I have had great experiences with Turo but my last trip was the best. It was quick, easy and he was very communicative with everything. Customer service was also great because I had to reach out to them to help me cancel and rebook a different car because the other days I needed was not available with my current one.

This was the first time we used Turo and was a bit concerned that our trip wouldn't go smoothly is case something went wrong. Contrary to those concerns, everything went like clockwork. Vehicle was as described, clean, and pickup and dropoff communications were spot on. We will most definitely use Turo for future rentals.

New to Turo - few hoops to jump through to get set up but not much and expected, then free sailing after that. All was easy, as car host was great. Experience from here on out probably depends on car host / car. Hopefully Turo fees don't get out of control or I'm back to Expedia, etc.

The host was great and communicated great about everything and answered all questions I had. The car maintenance was great and I was certain that the car would not break down. I used the car for a weekend getaway from the city and did 200 miles and took it on. Also, The price for renting was very reasonable and I felt like the host was trying to make a business and not scam me or make me feel unsafe.

This was the first time I used Turo. I will definitely use it again in the future. My host's vehicle was a nice car and comfortable. The host was responsive to all questions and was a pleasure to work with.

I would 100% recommend this app to friends and have since using it. It’s super convenient and our host was awesome. It’s much more affordable than renting a traditional car and worked great for what we needed it for. App is easy and straightforward and so are all the policies.

Great experience, would use again and recommend this company to others to use an experience. I was frustrated 'cause the car I originally tried to rent the host didn’t communicate and canceled the reservation last minute leaving me pissed based off his responses to the matter, but the Turo rep help greatly and the host Derek was outstanding!!!

I recently found out about Turo after seeing a post on Facebook. I looked further into it and decided to try it out for the first time over the weekend! We were going to a wedding and wanted to arrive in something nicer than our old truck with the hanging down rear view mirror. We found a great Turo host and rented his Mercedes Benz and loved every minute of getting to drive it! I’m glad Turo makes it possible to drive some of your dream cars, and all for an affordable price!

Very easy app and process. My host was amazing to work with. The entire process was easy to use. Communication with host through the app was easy. Vehicle was as advertised. Extra mileage cost was clear and accurate. Much better selection than brick-and-mortar retail rental companies. Will definitely use again and recommend.

I love that Turo has so many options from basic cars to adventure vehicles to high end models. It puts the fun back into car rentals. It’s also a cool way to test out different cars. Say you wanna see if you would ever wanna buy a Toyota 4-Runner. Next trip you take find a 4 runner to rent and get a great feel of the vehicle. Plus they often deliver the car right to you. I was extremely nervous to use Turo for the first time but I had heard nothing but great things about using the service. I’m glad I decided to use it, our host Joshua did an amazing job with communicating with us from day one all the way until the time we came back and dropped off the vehicle. The car was clean, the pick up was easy and the drop off as well. Joshua did a fantastic job at answering any and all questions we had. We will definitely be using the service again for our next road trip.

The communication was great once the car was booked. Cody was quick to respond and his messages detailed and very clear. This made the overall process easy and seamless. The shuttle does indeed come every five minutes as promised. This was the perfect experience for a first time Turo user.

Easy, convenient. Host was excellent. Walked me through the pick up to drop off process. With easy step by step instructions. I am recommending the app to friends and family. Have not deal with a car rental service, this good yet. I am planning my next now. I am my booking through them again.

Great choice on vehicles and ease of use a huge plus. So glad I found this site. Cut my cost down to a third of any commercial car rental company. Would use over and over again. Convenient pickup and drop off at airport was great. Right outside the door in short term parking. Couldn’t get any closer.

EXCELLENT vehicle....as clean as a brand new car....in fact, it essentially was!! Also, an EXCELLENT owner!.. He could not have been more friendly or helpful! We have never used Turo and it was truly a great experience. Coastal had our car waiting at the airport with a detailed description on where it was. Their communication was outstanding!! They messaged as soon as the car was dropped off and if we had questions they answered within seconds.

My Wife and I spent 15 nights on the big island in Hawaii. We rented a car from Jeff at Turo. The car rental experience was flawless. Jeff communicated extremely well with us, from car pickup to car return. We would absolutely rent from Turo again. Outstanding experience and outstanding customer service. This was my first time using Turo and I am a fan. I plan to only use Turo again the next time I need to rent a car and will also recommend it to everyone I know. My host was great and communication was perfect! The service was very easy to use. It was cost effective. I also liked the no-contact concept.

The car was dirty and the interiors were stained. It was not clean so the experience was average. There is no quality control which lead to an overall dissatisfaction. Additionally I had problems using my mobile phone for Google Maps, no attachments. The car was decent in performance but I would suggest that the overall rating rating was 3 on 5.

Picking up the car was very easy. We especially appreciated the contactless pick-up since our flight got it after midnight. The car was very clean and in nice shape! Communication with the owner was easy and they were quick to respond! I would definitely use Turo again and recommend it to friends!

We had an enjoyable trip using Turo. Our host was fantastic and very easy to work with. He helped answer several questions for us. My suggestion would be to have on the website a section about how to schedule more than one vehicle if you have a group larger than will fit in one vehicle. There were some concepts we did not understand about how to handle the situation of needing to schedule more than one vehicle.

I believe Turo fee are just too much and the more you rent the higher you go. First time I rented it was $10 a day insurance but then they change it. I rented for multiple days and their fee as well kept going up. So bad they charge same amount of the car.

My trip was cancelled a few days before I was to leave. Turo didn’t offer to do anything for the added stress. I had to find another rental quickly and ended up having to pay more money. The car I ended up with was ok and had no problems with the rental.

First time using Turo, and it was a great one! It was easy to find the car, and returning it was also easy. I had no issues driving the car. I originally downloaded this app, because there were no more rental cars in the area that I was traveling to. Thanks.

Very easy to navigate and find a car I needed with huge a selection of vehicles they have and available on the dates. My first experienced with Turo was awesome and the host Roy was great as far as directing, communication, clean vehicle and all. I'm appreciate through and host because I needed transportation and it was perfect timing. Roy was a qreat host and turo has been a great help for consumers Like me.

We picked up the car and no problems. Everything exactly as car owner said it would be. Rental was fine. We parked & took multiple pictures & video of the car when we left it at the airport parking. We left positive review, and later, the car owner claimed we damaged his vehicle because some curb rash was on the passenger wheel. I have a video screenshot which I believe shows the same damage prior to our departure the 1st day. He demanded payment which my wife paid without my knowledge.

This was my first Turo experience. I was a little worried at first, as this was my first car rental that wasn’t from a car rental company at an airport. Pick up and drop off were awesome. I told the Turo car owner what flight I was on and he met me right outside of baggage claim. I was driving less than 10 minutes after landing at SeaTac. Dropping off was just as easy. Owner was nice and very easy to communicate with. Will definitely use Turo again. Car was exactly as described.

I rented a 2020 Toyota RAV4 from Shea and she made the experience quick and easy. She communicated quickly and when I was running a little late, she had no problem adjusting. I highly recommend her. The car was clean and ready to go when I picked it up, taking only a minute where Shea pointed out a few things that might be different on this car.

Brandon's Cadillac Escalade was spotless and a VERY NICE car! Picking it up was a breeze using the app. I had not used the app before so I was wondering how it would work. Perfectly smooth. Same for dropping it back off. I would absolutely get a car from Brandon again. I needed a nice car for a business meeting and this fit the bill.

My car was in the shop and I needed a place nearby to rent a car from. Enter TURO. I rented a very clean Toyota RAV4 from Taha. The only complaint I had was that I was required to run the car through a carwash before returning. The carwash was near the drop off and pre-paid which is great but it was another errand, job to do that was on the renter's plate rather than handled by the car's owner. It's not worth me docking a whole star.

I`m so glad I discovered this service. Better pricing, able to read reviews, easy pick up and drop off. Prefer this service way more to traditional car rental companies. Car I chose was clean, ran great, and the owner was nice and responsive. Would definitely recommend Turo and use this service in the future.

Easy to communicate with through text on the Turo app. Clarice was very accommodating when I needed to extend my car rental by an hour. A great car and host. I would definitely rent this car again if I am in the area and definitely would refer this car rental to friends and family.

My first Turo trip went as smoothly as I could have hoped. Justin's 4Runner was clean and performed perfectly. Pickup and drop off at the airport was easy. It even came with a free cooler rental, a nice plus on a fishing trip in Montana. Communication through the Turo app was very helpful. I'll certainly use Turo in the future.

Truck was clean and in perfect working order. Pickup and drop-off was easy and professional. Price was very good compared to traditional car rentals. I would recommend this renter to all. The app is extremely easy to navigate and the rentals are extremely cost-efficient without the additional high fees of other rental companies. There are lots of cars to choose from and you know exactly what model you’re getting versus and a type of car. I had to use Turo for the first time when my car rental was not available and behind 3 hrs and it was extremely quick and easy to use, pick and rent.

Arizona is a beautiful state and even better when you can experience it in a convertible! The host made sure the car was clean, with a full tank of gas. Made sure I had his phone number if I needed anything. Much better than taking a ride share or renting from one of the airport car rentals! And there were so many cars to choose from!

The owner of the car I rented is a scammer. My mistake is that I simply photographed the car from all sides, but did not take more detailed photographs. As a result, the owner of the car is fraudulently trying to withdraw $2,500 from me. I had previously paid $900 as a result of the tour and now almost every week changes come to this account and today I was charged $1,500 again. I don’t have the strength to fight this, because they send me damage that didn’t even exist and are trying to bring this amount to a maximum of $3000. This is a complete scam, I never want to deal with you again.

I rented a car through Turo for my mother and grandmother to come visit me. The guy we got the car through was nice (at first). Once they arrived, my husband noticed something was wrong with one of the tires. My mother took the vehicle in to see what a tire would cost. The gentleman at the tire shop said the particular tires on the vehicle were not to be sold anymore, due to defects. My grandmother said she would pay for the new tire. The gentleman at the tire shop said that since the vehicle was an AWD, they have to replace two tires. My grandmother paid for two new tires which was nearly $400. The guy who owned the vehicle said he would definitely reimburse my grandmother.

Bridget had our car clean and delivered for pick up perfectly. Her welcome bag with a water and treats was a welcome surprise. She provided a cord system to plug in our devices and even had an umbrella available. YES we had to use it! Bridget’s communication were timely, accurate and detailed.

I'd always used a rental car company when traveling, so using Turo was taking me into new territory. This is the first time I used the app, so I can only base it on one time, but I have to say it was an excellent experience. The car I chose was great, the host/owner couldn't have been nicer. I was impressed by how well thought out the system was and how there were built in protections for the vehicle owner. All in all a very positive experience. I will use Turo again.

I thought the pick and drop off for this rental was very cumbersome, and having to take pictures in a dark parking lot was not the best either. When you fly in during the evening hours, and then have to go to some hotel parking lot, by riding the hotel shuttle, and then find the car and take pictures in the dark, it becomes somewhat of a hassle.

First of all the Turo app was very simple. And secondly our host. Josh was very accommodating and helpful. We loved our Camry highbred. The fuel mileage was amazing. The car was immaculate. My host was Steven. It's always a pleasure. This was my second time renting from Steven and it was always Grand. The car was clean before and always as it is by being this is my second time. I got into a jam and had to rent the car and Steven made sure that I modified my dates and got an extension on my rental. Shout out to my host Steven.

Great car very clean. The car was at the airport waiting for me when I got there with very detailed instructions of how to find it. Renting the cars was super easy and I knew I advance the cost of the car. She was super easy to contact and made sure I had no questions. However I was not happy with $545 that was withdrawn from my account. When I called I was told it was a RESERVATION FEE. When my final fee was shown it was not the same amount. This was changed during the process of renting through. Like an automatic draft. NEVER AGAIN WILL USE OR RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

This car is sooo classy and luxurious! I had a great time with this car and it was well kept and clean. My spouse was a little tall (6’5), so if you’re tall like him you will be a little uncomfortable. Definitely book if you’re traveling to Orlando or the surrounding cities.

Great service, phenomenal communication, and vehicle was immaculately clean. Our host was professional, courteous and above board. Our host simply explained everything we needed to know and was very helpful. She went above and beyond accommodating us. If we needed extra time getting through Atlanta all we needed to do was contact her. We will definitely rent again and recommend her rentals to our friends. Had never heard of this business or the name Turo, but I know they are and were professional and helpful, from dropping off the vehicle to us taking it back. Car was clean and performed well. Host was polite and punctual with meeting us at the airport for the arrival and for the departure. Car was a hybrid and we experienced great gas mileage. We enjoyed our visit to Minneapolis, MN very much. We were in town for a wedding. All good.

I just finished my first vacation car rental from Turo and it was GREAT! I rented a Jeep Renegade in Colorado for just $50 a day!! The car selection on Turo was beyond expectations. The price was almost HALF of traditional car rentals and the communication from my Turo host was amazing!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND TURO!!

First-time Turo renter. The car was easy to drive and I had no problems whatsoever. Super quick pick up and drop off! I like how clear the instructions are through the app. More than enough miles offered. The car handles really well through the continual mazes of Portland road construction!

I thought it was a great app, very easy to use. Really liked how you could pick what car you wanted and the wide selection of vehicles and that you could pick what vehicle and price worked for your budget. Something you can't do at normal car rental place, you might be able to pick type of car in general and hope they still have it, often not at normal. Here you know what you are getting and the price was way better then normal car rental place. I will use Turo for all my car rental needs from now on.

Host was late dropping the and picking the car real late. Drop time was 8:30 am but dropped 10 am. Pick up time was 11 am but picked up at 9 pm. Asked the host partial discount for the inconvenience but host rudely denied. I paid $120 charges. I think it was totally unfair to me. Customer service could not help with the discount.

Easy pick-up in airport! No lines and clean car with min miles. Good communication with owner. Would use Turo again. Only issue was return at airport due to parking ramp being closed making up park off site and having to bus to terminal. This was not owner's fault but inconvenient.

Our Nissan Kicks was waiting at the airport when we got off the plane. It was clean, had gas and the owner was very helpful with anything we needed. It was comfortable and so much cheaper than renting from the other airport car rentals. I loved being able to get off the plane and it was ready to go. We took a few pictures and we were on our way in no time at all.

Very easy pickup and drop off. Really nice vehicle and was spotless when I picked it up. I asked if I could possibly pick it up 30 minutes early and he had it ready for me when I needed to pick it up. Also was easy to locate. I will rent again in the future.

Ya after forking over a big wad of money to rent for a few days, on the return trip a rock flew up and cracked the windshield. Instead of working with us to arrange a payment plan to pay for damages that weren't our fault, they sent us straight to collections because we are not as rich as them and can't just swipe a credit card for $800! Especially when we found out they only paid around $550 for it. My question is, why don't they have glass coverage insurance for their vehicles?

Great experience for our first time using the service. The only issue we had was that their key fob wouldn't lock or unlock the car doors or pop the trunk. There was a blinker issue also. Quick and easy communication with Mario. He was thorough in all instructions. Thank you!

I must say the process was easy! The car was nice that I had for the couple days I was there except I noticed Saturday I had to push the bumper back in place 3 times on this car!! Then when I returned the car the host sent me pics of the bumper back out of place and I’m now being charged for damage that had nothing to do with me at all… Very unfair as a new Turo customer.

My experience with Turo has been very easy and convenient to find cars for weekend trips or emergency trips. Customer service works fast for resolutions. The whole app is very helpful. All of the hosts that I have encountered have been very helpful always on time and very communicative. There is always many options to choose from on any holiday just as long as it’s two or three hours in advance.

It was the second time I've used Turo; it is nice knowing that you're getting the exact vehicle that you want, rather than renting a 'vehicle type' and getting something you don't like. The whole process is faster than going through the other mainstream rental places, both picking up and returning. And cheaper too! Getting a brand new vehicle for $40 a day, one that you've considered purchasing and want some time behind the wheel before you do? It was fantastic.

Great ride and drove wonderfully. Excellent communication and responded to texts in a reasonable amount of time, some almost immediately. Car was very clean and smelled good. Definitely recommend prepaying for fill up when booking as it makes it easier on departure day. Will definitely recommend to others and use them again. Due to the ease of finding exactly the kind of vehicle I'm looking to rent at any given time for any given purpose, the value for the price, the reliability of being able to work with the private owners of the vehicles listed on Turo that I rent from, and the overwhelming amount of flexibility I've been offered to extend my trip when the vehicle is still available, I can't ever see myself going to another corporate car rental spot again. if you need a vehicle, Turo is the only way to rent.

I'm new to Turo as this is only the second time using Turo. My first experience was very good and my second experience was just very good too. My host on the last trip was Jonathan. He was great with giving me all updates and guiding me through the process. Everything was great from start to finish.

The car was in showroom clean condition and the great customer service from owner was welcome for an out of town visitor. I would definitely use him again. He was prompt and polite in both delivery of the car and return. Johnathon communicated throughout the process. He was very helpful with suggestions and information that made this whole process very easy and enjoyable.

Very good experience. Manuel’s Yukon is in great working order and condition. I would definitely recommend this vehicle. The communication was great. The pick up and drop off was easy. We had four guys playing golf with all our clubs, etc. and there was plenty of room. The Yukon was clean and a perfect choice for our trip.

Overall experience is much better than traditional renting. A hassle free pick up and drop off experience where minimal to no face to face interactions makes for a much more convenient process. The trip fee makes for confusing pricing, not being disclosed until booking.

I asked for an hour and a half extension on the car before I even took the vehicle. It was granted but no mention was made to me about a price increase. Instead, I was told I should have read the policy and checked my email. Really??!! Literally any place I go and make a change, like an airline, I am told at that time regardless of their policy that a price increase or decrease would occur. Wake up Turo.

Y’all. I have used Turo so many times in the last 6 months it’s not even funny. I started off with the traditional car rental place, usually Enterprise, Budget, Thrifty, one of them…until I was stranded at Tampa Intl. As I was taking an Uber over the Gandy I found Turo. I booked a Jeep that was available, it was one of the only ones left for that next morning. The owner responded to me within a couple of hours, well after midnight, and told me he’d bring the sheep to me as soon as he finished getting it cleaned/inspected. He had it to me by 10am, he was a saint.

It’s always a great experience renting from my guys on Turo. The cars are always well-maintained and clean and they make it very convenient for me. I recommend these guys to anybody who wants to rent a car on Turo. He will not be disappointing. Jeff was great in both communication and the quality of the car he provided. It was clean, with a full tank of gas. Jeff actually picked us up at the airport and gave us time to see how the car is operated before we drove it ourselves. The car drove great and there were zero safety concerns. The car proved to be more efficient than we expected and was certainly more comfortable than we thought a Kia could be. We were amazed at the solid feel and performance. Jeff even gave us a heads up about the northern lights, which turned out to be an epic show.

The rental was easy, the shuttle was quick, the drivers were very courteous, helpful, and happy to give us information about Kauai. We rented from Danny **, who is also very helpful and courteous. My son has used Turo several times and referred me to using Turo. I Will be using Turo to rent cars again. We will also be referring our friends and family to use Turo.

The car was sparkling clean when I picked it up. Rick thoroughly explained all the details of how to locate the keys and the car. He was very responsive and anticipated all my questions in advance. The price was right too. It turned out to be less expensive than an Uber. And more flexible than Avis/Budget. Next time I need a car I will definitely contact him again.

My experience with Turo and the owner of the car were fantastic. Rented a 2017 Blue Camaro (Blue Bawler) and loved it. Wound up trading it back early due to room needed for family and Will, the owner, couldn’t have been more helpful. I was able to transfer mid-trip to a more family friendly vehicle. A 2022 Honda Accord. He brought the vehicle to me and picked up the Blue Bawler. Would definitely use Turo and Will again.

I cannot say enough how seamless the Turo app was in renting a car. From picking out a car to pick up and drop off all went so smoothly and saved time instead of using a company at the airport. I will definitely be using the app again for future trips.

This car was a great asset to my trip. It was comfortable, no issues and it got me and my kids where we needed to go. Gustavo was always answering my texts when I needed him. I didn't read everything about the car so I had to drive him crazy (lol) but eventually I managed to figure it out.

It was easy to use the app and I am not tech savvy. This really helped with renting the car and messaging owner. I enjoyed using TURO and will definitely use again in the near future. We rented a Tesla from Brian in Dallas, TX. He was friendly and extremely professional. Brian met us at the airport and gave us the information about the car. The car was immaculate! There was also supplies in the back to clean the car if something spilled. Brian also supplied extra cables for device charging in the center console. He also communicated well and quickly through the app. We will definitely rent from him again! This experience with Brian has redeemed our faith in using Turo. Now it's time to book a car for the next trip!

I had a great time went to my son's wedding in Oregon as a blast. The gentleman ran me the car. Awesome guy, clean truck. It was new but still he kept it up clean and all that. I never have a problem renting from him again nor from Turo. 'Cause so far it's been excellent.

The accuracy is wonderful, I recently started to use Turo and I love it, very easy to communicate with the owners of the vehicles, Just simply awesome, I really enjoy using the app, Very easy to pick up the vehicles, the first car brakes was not so good but I took it easy and of course follow the rules of The road.

Service was perfect; car was perfect. Dave was perfect. What more would one want? Only suggestion is to include the automobile manual for those of us that might need instructions for all the bells and whistles.

I love the way you can just rent from right down the road from you and keep it as long as you need! The vehicle was so clean and so good on gas! The jeep compass was smooth riding and Micheal (the host) was very responsive and easy to communicate with!

Overall I enjoy meeting and having the opportunity to meet and ride in different vehicles. I’m all for the experience. I often go out the way to wash and clean the cars and it’s a win win experience. My last experience was awful. The car makes loud engine noises after running for a little while and as much good reviews as the previous renters claim they had this guy only wanted the money. (Japanese) How I know I never took the chance to cover myself and take pictures how ashes got on the mat I don’t know. I don’t smoke cigarettes or ** and vapes don’t leave a smell. This guy was very petty and only wanted the money. I live in Hawaii Christ sake. 150$ I’ll never go to him again .. worse experience I had and you know what? Even if the car's dirty or doesn’t run that great I never complain because I’m Grateful for experience. Anyhow I’m upset with myself and I’ll try to be more careful and watch out for those kind of people..

Since I already gave a review, I will repeat myself. I rented for 3 days then added a 4th day. I was charged a higher rate for the 4th day and I felt it should have the same rate as the first 3 days. Thank you for reviewing this discrepancy.

No hidden fees, and if you must modify your trip or shorten it you can get pro rated the money back with 0 penalties.

Rented a 2021 Toyota Sienna for my family of 6 while vacationing in Hawaii. The pick up experience is fast and easy; also, the return was painless also. The only thing I would recommend Turo to add is the distance of the car to my hotel location. It costed me additional $45 to get a UBER to pick me up and drop me off to the hotel.

Timothy was very detailed and put me at ease with his Turo system. This was my first time renting a car on Turo. I will definitely rent from him again. I have taken great care of their vehicles, kept it clean, driven them safely, and enjoyed the time I was on the different Hawaiian islands. Kauai was fun! Maui was fun! This was my first experience with Turo and it was great. Easy and quick pickup and return. Great communication when I needed information. It was a little difficult to take pictures of the vehicle at night in the parking garage but I did the best I could and it seemed to be ok.
