My vehicle is getting a new engine and I've been without a vehicle for almost two months now. I stumbled upon Turo and it's been an awesome experience so far. I've rented 4 vehicles since being without my car and I've enjoyed being able to rent exotic premium vehicles for a fair rate. Easy transactions, friendly and personable host. I will definitely rent with Turo from now on.

The car was everything! I’m a lover of a beautiful Genesis! I truly enjoyed it! Makes me want to go and buy my own. Steven was great he responded to introduction text and text me the day before my trip! Which made me feel good about the transaction. I would truly recommend Steven to my family and friends.

The suv was very clean, and well maintained. The owner (host) was very nice and very accommodating. It only took me 5 minutes to get to where the vehicle was located. I mean it was just a pleasant experience from beginning to end. I would recommend this host as well as this App to anyone

Responsive, Polite, No issues with the host whatsoever. I definitely do business with him. On Turo side need to overhaul your reservation system specifically your APP is as basic as it can get, extending a trip which I have commented on that in detail, there are times people are very busy and don’t the time to spend or don’t have time to wait for the host response

I love Turo. Love the concept. Love the convenience and efficiency and choices. In my experience (5 rents in different locations), however, the single biggest problem is vehicle reliability. In my 5 rent history, 4 of them required some sort of service mid-trip (wipers that were metal-on-glass, low oil light, low tire inflation, etc). This tarnishes the Turo brand as it casts an impression of unreliability, of hassle, of safety concerns. No one has time, whether on vacation or business, to be pulling off the freeway to find a mechanic or service station to address maintenance issues.

I love the convenience of the app, no waiting in a line, choosing the car you want to drive on the trip to fit your need. Review the owner's profile/car before choosing. Specific during the selection process: like mileages, where to pick up and drop off, emergency numbers, point of contact and most importantly suggestions on where to visit if it's just a vacation in a new area. Great app!

Getting to the rental area from LAX was easy. Both vehicle acquisition and vehicle return were seamless. We enjoyed the conversation with POC doing the hand-off, and he happened to be available to help us when we had trouble finding a parking spot upon return. I will definitely book with Malibu again if I am looking for a rental in LA.

Website was great. Was easy to stroll through and re-search for vehicles and owner of vehicle was friendly. Easy to talk to you. Vehicle was in good condition in all aspects. We came Maui on a private boat and They also dropped off the vehicle to us, so that was very helpful. I would definitely. Recommend my family and friends to rent from Turo.

Great experience in having this reservation. I will definitely revisit. Justin was a great host. Easy exchange of the vehicle. The extinction of the trip was easy to do. Looking forward to rent my next vehicle from Turo. Marvelous app… which I have recommended to others. So many variety of vehicles to choose from is refreshing.

This was first time using Turo. I rented for a long weekend vacation. They included 600 free miles, which was more than enough. It was a positive experience, very easy to navigate the website, picking up and dropping off car was painless and bonus did not have to wait on long car rental lines. Cody made sure there was communication between us. Will use Turo again in the future.

Turo was very convenient, much more so than a rent a car company. Mathew was very good at communicating where & when the vehicle was available. Being able to extend our rental of the Bronco was easy. The Bronco Sport we rented was clean & well maintained. Very accommodating for our needs as a family of 4 with our luggage.

Instructions for locating vehicle and gaining access were accurate and easy to follow. Shuttle bus dropped us off right next to vehicle. Vehicle was extremely clean and nicely detailed; as nice as described and portrayed in photos. I would definitely rent this vehicle again on our next trip to Kansas City. Highly recommend!

Really nice suv! The Vehicle was in Good shape, easy to pickup and drop off this vehicle!! It literally took 5 minutes to pick up. The Vehicle gas tank was Full, clean on the inside and out Also quick responses from the owner, I will definitely use again!!!

Great car to rent! It was clean, reliable, and felt very safe. Only small issue I had was the USB ports didn't work for me. Would absolutely recommend and/or rent again if given the chance. Even got a chance to put the top down in late November! What fun drive.

Jason canceled me last min. I am very disappointed. This is not a very good business practice.. I believed he canceled the order cause someone wants to book for more money or more days.. He texted me last min that someone wanted the van in Redding for last min vehicle breakdown. I booked the van for important function that we have to attend for the group.. This is not right.. Please refund the money you charge me..

I really enjoyed the car and Bradley the host was amazing. The app was so easy to use and great for communicating. Bradley was very helpful as a host and responded quickly to any questions I had. I accidentally locked my keys in the trunk and he was willing to drive 3 hours to get me the spare key. Fortunately I was able to get in on my own. I am considering listing one of my vehicles on Turo.

All was as expected, car was great, interaction with provider was great. The only thing I can add is perhaps you could make it a bit clearer as to what the process is when returning the car. It seems I didn't discover that I had to take pictures etc till well after I had returned the vehicle.

Easy to use app, very user friendly and the whole process from searching, to booking and returning was A++++. Prices were competitive and easily beat most traditional rental agencies. Will continue to use this service. The security measures to ensure that the process goes smoothly was very well thought out and goes a long way to ensure a great experience.

We got great price. About 200.00 less than going thru a car rental company. The car ran great and was clean. The owner was very detailed and easy to communicate with. Pick up and drop off were simple. We would definitely use again when in the area. We highly recommend using.

Car was in terrible condition on the inside and minor damage on the outside with bumps and dents everywhere! It was so dirty inside I don’t think it’s ever been cleaned! But I detailed myself before returning it and he was happy I’m sure. Keep your cars clean before renting them out!

We rented a van from Kristoffer it was perfect. No issue. Kristoffer made the process so easy and answered any questions we had. I would recommend to anyone needing a van for trip to reach out to Kristoffer. It’s a perfect vehicle for a weekend getaway. It had all features needing to keep the kids entertained.

The owner was easily contacted throughout. The car was found as pictured and easily picked up and dropped off at Palm Springs International airport. Free car wash throughout helped me keep the car clean. I plan on renting from Richard again when I return to the desert in February.

Didn’t like that the first car reserved was canceled two days prior to my trip. Reserved according to my budget. Two days prior needed to find someone else but was more expensive and farther causing us unexpected expenses. Did enjoy the trip after picking a different car but the unknown experience that someone may cancel in the last minute is not comfortable. Might try TURO again if promo code is give for a unwell first experience.

Laine was very easy to communicate with. There were several options of vehicles and the Ford Ranger seemed to be priced the best for the type of vehicle I was looking for. The pricing and description of the vehicle was accurate. She arrived promptly for drop off and pickup. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Had unexpected transportation problems, my daughter recommended Turo. It was a very good solution to my situation. I had two different trips and both were excellent in service and convenience. Easy to use app. Tons of car selection. High end units at the right price. The Turo notifications keep you informed of any changes, discounts, and travel updates. The car pictures and description matched what I rented. The renter gave me accurate information and instructions on how to pick up and drop off the unit. I would recommend this service to my friends and family.

My experience renting from Andy has been always positive. Cars are well maintain. All you have to do is drive away. Andy is a generous, helpful. Easy to communicate with. It is great that Andy rental is very accessible and a short distance from where I am staying. Rent with confidence.

The whole process in renting a car with Turo was quick and easy from the beginning to ending. Also the price was decent and with no deposit needed. I will definitely use Turo again. The selection was good and had many price ranges and different vehicles to choose from. Also the location was I choose was near my house. There was no long waiting, just show your driver's license, take pictures of the vehicle and then be on your was. It was a great experience.

I was late returning the last vehicle I rented, and instead of sending me a BILL like any other time, my card was charged WITHOUT my permission. I understand that there was a fee that I would need to pay, and I've always paid my dues, no questions asked. However, someone working for Turo decided it was a good idea to charge my debit card without notifying me first, and now I'm in the hole. Theft? I need someone to communicate with me on this matter. I've replied to the email that stated my card was charged for the late fee, and I've heard nothing back. I need to know how this will be fixed by Turo.

This has been my absolute favorite trip. Car was fantastic, great on mileage. It was as if I drove the car right off the parking lot. It helped out so much to have this option. It was super simple to book. Whenever I needed an extension it was was easy. Vickey was just the best!

My teenage boys and I had a great experience using TURO, recommended by friends. So glad to support a family-owned small business through TURO—great vehicle, excellent communication with the owners via the app, and loved the add-on of a cooler and beach umbrella for a reasonable price. TURO was a great find!

My trip was awesome. It was for my daughter birthday, so I was able to rent a vehicle that she deemed as her dream vehicle. My host Corey was a 5 star host and his vehicle was a 5 star vehicle as well. Corey was pleasant and was easy to keep communication with. He was GREAT and I appreciate his vehicle and service.

I love this app and the people with whom I’ve worked!! It’s way cheaper than rental companies and way more personalized! I’ve already recommended to many friends who have travelled! We have rented 3 cars so far and all the owners have been super nice and easy to work with! Highly recommended!

Though all went well, the advertised day price for the car increased as I got into the deal including added delivery costs and extra insurance coverage because my insurance would not cover a private car. The car came with damage that I didn’t see right away. I took photos, but felt uncomfortable knowing I might have to somehow prove the car came with it. Overall I felt uneasy about the whole deal. Don’t think I will rent a private car again.

The experience was great until the host planted cigarettes in the pictures they took of the car to get extra money from me after I declined to extend my rental twice. I don’t even smoke cigarettes and never have! The host was very kind and the process was extremely easy. The car was great. I wiped the car down and cleaned as much as I could in rainy weather and then hours later after the return they decided to do something like that. They watched me not take any pictures because of the car's cleanliness! Why would I leave them right in the front and watch them move the car to another side without saying anything about them at the time! Ridiculous and disappointing! It really makes me not want to use the service.

This being my first using Turo, I found finding a car to meet my needs and near my location was excellent. Using the application was very user friendly. The host was punctual with delivering the car. The whole process was very professional and all interactions with the host was professional and pleasant.

This was my first Turo rental. Longtime Airbnb and VRBO user, so am good w/ the concept. App was easy to use and I found reasonable choices relatively close by. Communications w/ owner were all good - easy, super prompt. Was a little surprised that the owner is using a school lot for drop off and pick up. A bit put off by the request to return car washed for a 2-day rental, even more so given that car was not washed and inside not as clean as I would have expected but to be fair it was a last minute. Best part of the experience was drop off - Easy and the app experience was fantastic- push notifications and confirmation just when I wanted them.

I returned my vehicle a full day early and was unaware that I had to go online and submit an early return or whatnot. I don’t understand how I was not reimbursed for a full day that I was not in possession of the rental vehicle. I don’t think that it’s right or fair.

My experience using Toro was great! My host was amazing. I would definitely use the host again. Communication was on point. Directions were great, I liked that there was an address drop off therefore we didn’t have to find the car. The car options were good, I was able to have a car almost like my car at home.

I was very skeptical at first, but by looking at the reviews, I took a chance. I’m so glad that I did. My first two bookings went absolutely great! Didn’t have any problems whatsoever. I love using Turo. I just wish they had an option to drop off the car at my location. Instead of me picking it up.

There were fees that can't be explained which I let slide. But then they wanted to charge me an extra $16 for parking when he told me to park it there because he was late for pick up. He threatened to over charge me because he was upset he could not provide proof for the ticket. Then he provided a new bill for gas when I left a full tank in. He didn't report the gas till days later. When I did the math it's actually $9 and change after he drove the car using the gas to another location. Right before he threatened me to pay the $16 or he will make up a chargr for gas. Then when the $16 was denied. He also threatened to charge me going over 800 miles when I went less than 100 miles. Now, who knows what else he is going to make up. He me calling names as if he is a child. So now I am at the mercy of this guy because he has access to my card and can submit whatever claim he comes up with.

My son told me to check out Turo on my recent CA trip. I was a little hesitant at first but gave it a try. I usually use the major rental companies on my trips. Great experience with Turo. Great car, responsive host and overall ease of use. Will use Turo in the future.

I recently rented a Turo rental where my original car broke down in Ohio. I started my trip in New Jersey and needed to get back to New York by the end of my trip. When I had my original car towed back to the owner, a customer service rep told me to book a one-way trip from Ohio to New York. Then the next representative told me I’d have to return the second rental back to Ohio instead which I was not willing to do. I found a replacement car an hour away from my location which had a limit of 1,000 miles.

Awesome communication and a great automobile, would use Aaron again when I am in Charleston. It made all the difference in my trip to visit with family. Best rental experience of my life. If you are going to the Charleston SC area you would do well to deal with Aaron.

Everything went well. I had no issues extending my trip when needed and my host was very responsive. Highly recommended for anyone who is in need of a car rental. The car was clean. So, so much better than commercial rental agencies. There are no lines, instructions are clear, car is super clean, and it’s even less expensive too! This was my first experience and after this, I will definitely use Turo anytime it’s an option when I travel. I cannot say enough good things about this experience!

I’ve rented from Turo about 6x now and never had a problem. Cars are always in good running condition and what’s shown in the photos. It’s so much easier than renting from the big guys and you have way more flexibility. Also, you choose the exact car you want! No more getting to a counter and having an agent decide what you’re going to drive. Lots of cars available all around town not just the city or airport.

Have been used Turo twice, the experience is good five star. Some hiccups but nothing out of the ordinary. The price are good and the owner's response is very fast so far. The Van had several things damaged but nothing that affected the trip.

Absolutely the best and convenient way of renting a vehicle and very easy to set up!! This app is truly amazing! But the trip price for Turo is a lil too high. And it should be lowered or at least have some type of discount through turo when you'er a customer that rents consecutive.

Turo was super easy to use. I was not disappointed. The car I chose was the car We got. Unlike typical car rentals they didn’t sell out of the car we reserved. The car was beautiful, well kept, mechanically sound and was easy to drive. Our host was super responsive. I can say enough good things.

Vehicle owner was great with communication. The entire process was very simple. I am not a tech savvy person and was still very much able to get everything done. The vehicle ran perfectly and the check in and check process was very streamlined. I can see why people enjoy this app. So easy!

While we live about an hour and a half away, it was worth the trip! It was so easy to get registered, pick up, and drop off the vehicle! It has never been that easy at a rental company! The speaker in the back was an added bonus. The extra touch of the bullet hole was hilarious…

Great experience with Turo...SO much better than a typical rental car agency that I will always use Turo from now on. We had a month-long rental in Kailua/Kona. Pickup and drop-off at the airport was simple - no time wasted with lines at a rental company counter. The car was great, communication with the owner was excellent.

The vehicle and host we went through were great. They communicated with us about any questions or issues we had. This was our first time using Turo, so we didn't know what to expect. It was a great experience. We will definitely use Turo again over a regular car rental company.

It was easy to find the car at the airport. The app was easy to use. The car owner was great to deal with. Returning the car was also an easy process. It was nice to not wait in the car rental lines and to be able to choose a cute car with the added bonus of a beach umbrella and beach chairs-- you don't get that option with a typical rental car.

This was the first time my wife and I used Turo. It was easy, and our host Erin was very helpful in explaining the process and how to find the car, and the car was clean and in excellent running order. Most importantly, it was a much more economical option than using a traditional rental company. Turo will definitely be the first place we check when we need a car in the future!

The car was just as expected, clean, ran great, no problems there. But I was a little taken back by the extra charges on my bill Ie. There was an 80.00 airport fee. And then I still had to pay airport parking. I didn't understand what the airport fee is about if I'm still charged 27.00 a day for parking. I wanted to support local and go this route, but by the time I paid extra fees and the hassle of finding parking at the airport to drop the car back off, I was quite frazzled and almost missed my flight. I'm not sure that I would do it again with Turo. Not sure if the money saved was worth the headache of finding and dropping off the vehicle.. or if there were even savings after the"extras". I did REALLY like that I was able to rent car seats with the car though.. That was a a HUGE relief.

This was a good experience. The car was clean & in good condition. The first week rental was complicated with taking pictures, uploading & finding the lockbox. The last two weeks was very convenient for pick up & drop off. It was easy to find did not have to jump through hoops to get my car. The owner was very friendly & when I had to do a repair, even though I did not report it online correctly I was still reimbursed since I had my receipt. I was very satisfied. The only complaint was the car was a little hard to get in & out, but that was on my part not the owner. Please look them up when you are searching for a ride. You will not be disappointed. I had to rent a car for three weeks because mine was in the shop. Turo is the way to go. It was cheaper than the other Rental companies. I am so glad my daughter told me about this App & got me signed up.

Everything went good and on schedule. The only minor issue was I had it scheduled to pick up at 8 pm and the car was parked in the parking garage for 8 hours. I had to pay for 8 hours of short term parking. I would understand 2-3 hours but not 8.

Total scam by the vehicle owner, never using Turo again. In the middle of launching ** so others can learn how shady some drivers can be as well as the Turo staff during the fraudulent claim process. My mind is absolutely blown after dealing with what I've dealt with and it was my first experience with them.

Very happy with Turo. Prompt delivery and helpful personnel to explain the newer options in the Equinox. Pick-up was also on time. I have recommended Turo to friends and family. Car was clean and handled great. I had some difficulty navigating the website in entering the pickup and return times but was able to resolve.

This was my first experience using Turo. It went flawlessly! Great communication, great vehicle, very easy to do! It was nice having a vehicle to get around in Kodiak City in and was easy to drive. I will gladly use this service and will use the same provider if I am ever in Kodiak again.

This was TOTALLY a great experience renting from Mr Toni. He's a VERY PATIENT man and he helped me through my 1st time Turo renting. I would DEFINITELY rent from him again and refer some of my friends. I appreciated the whole process. The Toyota Yaris was GREAT on gas and it drives so smooth. I went to Birmingham to see my Moma who had suffered a stroke, but Thank God she is doing great.

We had a Turo no-show on us and it ruined the start of a very special girls’ trip for us. We were delayed from making it to our hotel and missed a class we wanted to do. It was a very disappointing experience and makes us feel that Turo is unreliable.

The process was very easy! The car was in great condition and my contact was very responsive. I have never used anything other than the traditional rental car companies and I don't think I will ever use them again. Super glad I found this service! This was the second time using Turo. I've raved about this app to friends and family if they are traveling. The simplicity of the app and the convenience of working with local folks has always been amazing. I recall, I was bringing my kiddos to Florida, we arrived in FL at midnight, I had to wait almost 2 hours at a rental place because there was one person working the desk. Doing this with hungry and tired kids wasn't fun at all. When my sister recommended Turo, I haven't had a desire to rent a vehicle any other way.

First time using Turo, the app was easy to navigate, the car choices and locations were ample. The customer support people were very helpful. The car I rented was very clean and was expected and owner was very helpful. I will use Turo again the next time I need to rent a car.

We had a wonderful trip, rented a 10 person van for our large crew, going to a graduation. The van was perfect size for the 7 family members and their luggage. The van was easy to find and was ready to go when we got there. I have to add a special shout out to Alberto for going above and beyond to find my granddaughter's AirPods, they were left in the van. He was so kind to mail them back to her. Such a kind and honest person!!!! Thanks Alberto. You rock!!!!

This was our first time renting from Turo. Pick-up and drop-off was a breeze. Our vehicle was clean and we added a car seat rental option. We had a flat tire immediately after picking up our vehicle but was able to get it taken care of quickly. The rest of the trip was flawless. Our host, Michael, was attentive and quick to respond. I will rent from Turo from now on.

I have had a few different cars and host on here and they have all given me a great experiences. The host are very easy going just want you to follow their simple instructions, which from my encounters have been simple. I've also had to call customer service before and they were very helpful and considerate. I would definitely recommend their services.

The car's alignment was a bit off which was an issue on highways. Also, the extra charge by Turo I was not expecting. Like it should be just the car price and insurance, the service fee was a charge which I couldn't see earlier so it felt like a hidden charge.

From beginning to end. Was surprised at how easy it was. I was nervous making sure I did everything right. My only complaint is the amount of gas this small car ate. Car was just about on FULL when we got it. We drove from the Venetian out to Mesquite - where we filled the car up to the brim... $25 total and drove it back to the Town Square Container. We did not put any more gas in - as it showed just below where it was when we picked it up. Lo & behold we got an invoice for gas and a service fee... another $21.99. I paid it as it wasn't worth arguing over... just seems that a small car like this one would be better on gas. Other than that - the car was perfect, Pickup and drop off was also perfect.

I enjoyed the ease of Turo, no hassles like traditional rental cars… I just would like the extension fees to be lowered or eliminated all together. If you are approved by owner to keep the car those fees should be waived. You have money returning the vehicle then renting right back. Some owners don’t mind and let you just rebook and close the original one out.

I needed a car due to one in the shop. The Host was great and car was great at a great price. All went very well and I used the vehicle for six days. Very happy with my experience and way better than other rental car places. This is so much easier.

Loved my ma Ms. **.. she was so kind & sweet. She made sure everything on the car was safe and good to go! She also got me in and out, she will definitely see more from me. The car was nice and clean and the perfect amount of gas was in it. My ma will definitely be seeing more of me in the best future. The best experience I’ve had from Turo in a long time. Had a good experience with exception to picking up the car that Carlos had left in the airport parking lot. Problem was it had been left the day before we arrived making the fee to get out double. I screenshot the receipt to Carlos, the owner, who said he would cover anything over $20.00. Haven’t seen covered yet. On my credit card or otherwise.

This was the easiest Turo transaction I’ve ever had. Easy car to drive, super helpful owner and he was very responsive. I plan on using his cars whenever possible. When I had purchased my first car on Turo it was a complete scam! The car was dirty, unreliable, unsafe, and unsatisfactory. The host made me drive him to his apartment and the car had no gas?? It was terrible. I wasted 2 hours of my vacation on the line with an agent fixing the problem. And they didn’t even reimburse me for the airport pick up and drop off which I never got when I had to book a new car! It was a terrible experience which I would never want to experience again and my trust in turo and turo host are very low. Even then the new car which was a Kia had damage on the exterior that the host tried to hide?? It was terrible.

This is like Air BnB for cars. I've used Turo twice and have been totally satisfied each time! I'm not locked into a certain time frame based on business hours. Both times I was able to pick up and drop off after 5 and on a weekend. Both cars were pristine and the owners were very communicative. Of course, because it's a personal car, I strive to keep it as clean as possible while I have it, but it's a joy to pay less for a better car!!

This is our 3rd time using Turo for over a week at one time. The host was wonderful, checking in & providing detailed instructions. He responded quickly if we had any questions. The car was immaculate and we enjoyed driving a newer model SUV. We will never go back to using a rental car company again. One thing we would like is for Turo to be covered through our credit card trip protection. Unfortunately, that is not something that is available. But having three tiers of protection to choose from through Turo is me a sense of security.

I had another provider cancel at the last minute needed Turo to help find me another car. They offered me a comparable car at the same price point. The car was very clean and a pleasure to drive. My first experience with Turo was a great one. My host was easy to communicate with, I didn't get hit with a thousand dollar deposit, the option to purchase insurance so cost effectively is a prond. The array of cars vs a mainstream rental outfit isn't even comparable. I'M CONTENT!!!

The car took us everywhere on the island. It was a beautiful trip. We were able to go to Mauna Kea, and it was absolutely stunning, a once in a lifetime experience. Highly recommend. I’ve been enjoying Turo, wish there wasn’t so many extra costs but all around great. Some of the vehicles could be newer models but all around great. I’ve rented from some pretty good hosts and the last rental was great. His customer service was amazing and he went above and beyond.

As I learn more I see more benefits to using Turo everywhere I travel, it is so much better than the industry standard car rentals offer. You can always get a good deal on a good car. I rented a big vehicle for luggage space when we flew from Chile and a smaller car when I went for business purposes. I was able to get a brand new car for the business and a huge SUV for the relocation. Sometimes the pickup is a little odd getting used to and also the drop off but in the end it all worked out good.

Overall I had a great experience, however the only problem I had was upon arrival the host knew I was coming at 8:30am. Host wasn't ready for me. I had to call and to see where was host. Several phone calls later host emerged. I was not expecting to see so much of host personal mail and items in the trunk, glove box, and arm rest. I had to clean out the car so I could use it and tobacco everywhere along with loose change. Me and my son came back to the host to allow host to remove the items out the vehicle so I can use it.

It was the first time I rented a car and it was an excellent experience and it was very easy and quick to rent a car. The person (Yelena L.) was very nice and easy to work with. I will definitely rent cars on Turo again because it is very easy and fast and has very good cars.

My trip was beautiful. The car was absolutely beautiful. Everything was perfect The house was absolutely great. The car ran perfectly. This is the best app prices are reasonable location and pick up spots are easy to find very good. I had to rent a car for a funeral, my sister and my nephews were in a very bad car wreck so I had to come to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to bury the 12-year-old. Four-year-old is in the hospital with a spinal injury. I wasn’t able to see him due to strict hospital policies. Overall, the trip was good. I was glad to see my mom and my sisters I live in Arkansas and so we don’t see much of each other.

Vehicle location was easily accessible. Instructions were very simple on inspecting and getting going. Drop off was just as easy. I do wish there was a bit more flexibility for the drop off. Our flight was later than the drop off time by an hour and the rate to extend one hour was $120. Very steep imo. Had to rush back and get vehicle to airport by 10 am. Flight wasn’t till 2:45pm.

Easy pickup and drop off. Great host. Great selection of vehicles. Great prices. Easy to use app. Makes it hassle free. I highly recommend using this in lieu of regular rental car companies just for the cost savings alone. It is the only way I rent cars these days. I tell everyone I know about it.

Recently had our first rental through Turo with pickup in Albuquerque, NM. Everything worked perfectly. The app opened the vehicle and the key was inside. The car was clean inside and out and operated flawlessly. Return was simple - just park it and let the owner know where in the garage it was located. I tried Turo for a vehicle rental for a family trip this past October. The pick up and rental went smoothly. However, within a few hours of dropping the vehicle back off, I was told that I would need to pay for damages. I had not been in any collisions or accidents whatsoever, so I was surprised by this. Turns out that they charged me over $4,000 to pay for a scuff mark that was already there before and a small scratch on the headlight. After further review, they upheld this decision, with no further explanation. Turo seems to be committed to protecting their drivers. As a renter that means that they can claim ANY damage and you will be liable to pay for it. This is too much of a risk for me and I will not be using Turo again.

This host is super considerate and communicative! They are accessible and made sure the car was clean, well maintained and smelled good. 5 star rating 100%! Thank you for being perfect and allowing me to rent from you. I’ll be back!!!

Literally enjoyable vehicle. The Maverick truck with the beautiful blue color, was so smooth. I booked this truck to go to my brother's last football game with kids for only 3 days. We ended up extending the rental just because we loved it. Spacious. Clean. And to top it off our host Andries was so cool and gave no problems. Can’t wait to try out his other vehicles.

My first Turo trip was an awesome experience! I got to drive one of my favorite cars, the Corvette C7 Stingray & I treated like it was mine. I respected the owner's car & brought it back with a full tank of gas. Definitely gonna rent more cars to try out in the future.

The app itself is expensive. It’s only good if wanting a short term rental for a couple days but long term wise it’s too costly. I’ve only used the same host 3 times. I know it’s not her. It’s the trip fee. Why do the trip fee have to cost just as much as the car daily? I be looking to rent long term. Who wants to pay over $150 a day for a car long term wise? The prices are never consistent. The third time I rented with Turo the trip fee was $50 more than when I booked the first time? Same car but why is it costing more the more I come back?

It was so smooth from the start to finish. We picked up the car at a convenient location, returned it to the airport and the host communicated well with us! It’s easier than renting from the large corporations and no lines to deal with at the airport. Also there is flexibility in Turo if you communicate with your host. We changed our pick up location without a problem. The host responded within minutes of my message to him making it so convenient.

I had a car that I want to extend my usage and apparently I was unable to. It got rebooked by another customer. I tried to book another car, the one day rate was outrageous, almost the same amount of what I paid for 3 days. If you go to Enterprise, or Budget etc and you want to extend the contract and the car is not available they will honor your rate… I have done more research and reality is the big company’s as mentioned before are woke, rates are getting more competitive. After you factor in Turo’s trip fee, my friends, it’s cheaper to go with the big companies. This will be my last time renting with Turo.

I have rented 3 cars using Turo. All 3 times, the process was fast and easy. Never an issue, and always great communication. I was able to find a large selection of vehicles, and the cars have been in great working order. I wish I would have started using Turo earlier, I would have saved a lot of headaches and money.

First no storefront location! Picking/Delivering vehicle on side of road in New Orleans! Horrible!!! Extra tax fees and processing fees after going over mileage is a big rip off to renters. If vehicle is returned back with more gas than originally picked up a credit need to be given back to renters. Reporting to Better Business Bureau.

I rented a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van for our annual golf tournament in Vegas this year. This van was above and beyond our expectations! The host went all out to ensure that we knew about all the features and amenities. The van drove superb and the host was very responsive with communication.

The experience was good, the car is really clean and the service is really reliable and I found my car on time, I congratulate you. I have a problem now because I can't re-rent the car with you, I need to know what happened. I called you on the phone and they said we would resolve the issue, but that never happened.

Everything went very well and I couldn't have booked a better car to celebrate my boyfriend birthday!! I was very pleased. We had a great time and definitely will book again. The pricing for such a high priced vehicle was SUPERB!!! The hostess Peak is the absolute sweetest and very professional!

My first booking was cancelled because the owner of the car I wanted had a recall on his car so Turo wouldn’t let him rent it. I appreciated the safety concerns but left me searching for another booking last minute. The booking went fine but my final total was over $100 more than my estimated total I was given at booking. Doesn’t feel like anyone at Turo is policing this. All and all, I really like the concept and the variety of cars available but Turo needs to do a better job of making sure total fees stay closer to estimated amounts. I am on the fence as to whether I will use again or not.

Derek was amazing! He is very communicative. The car was basically brand new, super clean, and smelled so good. Filling up the tank did not break the bank at all. Smooth ride. I will definitely recommend and will be going through Derek for a rental. Great location for pick up, and drop off.

I can’t say enough good things about Turo and Ali **, our contact. Our plane landed about 1215 am in Knoxville. We needed to drive to Gatlinburg which was 30 miles away. At that time of day, car rental agencies were closed. We could not find even an Uber driver. Ali brought a car to curbside at the airport at 1:00 am. Car was great. Service was quick and efficient. Ali was always available by phone. I will definitely use Turo again the next time we travel! Great experience!

I rented the Altima, it drove very Smooth. Dominic was very communicative and quick to respond if needed! He was very Helpful as this was my first turo rental, will use again! This is a true Texas truck. Ford tough, raised, clean, and has all the latest car technology. The front window is cracked, but it will not hamper the driver's line of sight. Owner was very responsive and provided pick-up and drop off details for me as I am a first time user. I enjoyed it!

I just received a call from Turo stating that they wanted to charge my credit card 500$ due to damage. I was in no accident nor were there any mishaps. The damage is apparently a nick on the windshield on the passenger side. Imperceptible in photographs, apparently. Claim agent said it looked like it might be present in the host's drop off pictures. Attempt to charge my cc failed as Capital One thought it was scammy, I agree. Your move Turo, I’m about to be done.

This was my first Turo rental. Easiest rental experience. Walked out of baggage claim to the car. I doubt if I will ever go back to renting a car from the counter ever again. I would recommend this service to anyone traveling to not have to deal with a corporation ever again.
