I have had an overall good experience using Turo. The people have been communicative and cars have really great with just a couple of minor issues- better than renting from a company overall! The main issue that I have had, had been if you can’t get car service where the lot pick up is and you are trying to access a key code or something like that. That being said, I’ve learned to do screen shots on the chance that happens now. Some other very minor issues is with a key fob (and it’s only happened with two cars) or windows not working. Overall, I recommend Turo!

Easiest and most fitful experience in renting a vehicle. The owner was responsive and excellent. I will be trying Turo again in the future for my rentals. The ease of use of the app, along with being able to extend if needed was helpful when I was stuck in traffic.

Katrina has a great ride and her Porsche 911 Black on Black is awesome. The low mile Porsche turned a lot of Heads and the Valets always parked us out front. The ride is Sweet! Very comfortable yet every bit a Sports Car and Fun.

The Turo rental car service allows unauthorized hosts to rent other people's vehicles without the proper consent. Marivel ** is a host with Turo. She posted and rented my 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 since September 2023, without my knowledge and permission. I have the truck keys and title to this truck and I do not know how Turo allow Marivel ** to rent a vehicle that does not belong to her.

My host was very nice. Quick to answer my text and questions. When I picked up the car it was clean, gas full and ready to go. I had no problems at all. I would rent again. I would also tell my friends and family about renting a car. It's quick, simple and cheap.

SUV was as described. Andrew was fantastic! Pick up and drop off were easy. Very clean and comfortable. Great communication before, during and after rental. If you are looking for a larger vehicles for 7 adults, this is the vehicle for you. If you are not familiar with Turo I recommend you try it. I recommend Andrew’s vehicles.

My experience was wonderful. The car was easy to request. It was easy to pick up. The car was in great condition. It drove great. The person I rented from was charming and helpful and helped me walk through having never done it before and was amazing. It made it for a very friendly and pleasant experience.

The Van was very clean and comfortable. Smooth ride. Charles responded back quickly with any questions or concerns that I had. Pick up and return were hassle free. It took about five minutes. My family and I were very satisfied with the entire process. Thank you to Charles and we will be doing business with him again.

Everything went smooth with rental process. Only issues I had was setting up my account. Kept having problems with phone numbers being verified and emails come through days later..With that being said still haven’t had number verified and emails are still coming through late so makes for hard communication. If you have any ideas that would be very helpful. Thanks..

My initial rental was cancelled due to a maintenance issue with the car. This was fine since America's Motors said they'd upgrade for no charge. I set up the new rental and the cost was ~$83 more than the original rental. I asked and they said after the trip they'd refund the additional amount. Trip went great, and after returning the car I asked about the refund. One message was read and the other wasn't. No contact from America's Motors. Apparently when they have your money they don't feel the need to provide as good of customer service. I would just appreciate if they kept their word. Screenshots of the conversation are attached.

It was very easy and the customer service was stellar. I’m glad the process was so quick and even in my small town the selection of cars was pretty big. Communication on the app was great and even the delivery pick up was easy. Will definitely do this again very soon! TY Turo for the service.

I’m really enjoying the availability of the Turo app, it’s very convenient. The host really go the extra mile to make sure that the vehicle is clean and ready for use. The only real problem I’ve experienced is the price of the trip fee, it pretty much sends the price of the rental over the top.

The experience of renting through Turo was great! The reservation, pick-up and drop-off was easy. I appreciated the ability to communicate with the host. It was easy to find a car in the area I needed it and I appreciated the selection of cars. The price range was impressive. I would absolutely rent through Turo again.

This was my first time renting a car on Turo. Our truck broke down in an unfamiliar town and we had to rent a car quickly to complete our journey to visit family over the Thanksgiving weekend. The experience couldn’t have been simpler. Donna, the car's owner, was very helpful with details and answered all my questions. The car was in immaculate shape and the gas tank was full. I would highly recommend Donna to future car customers.

Very pleased with all services provided, quality of vehicle and reliable pick up and drop off service. Look forward to next opportunity to use Turo. The reservation process was easy and responsive. I guess the host was upset I requested an extra day. They lied about me not putting gas in the car. Overcharged me for being a hour late which is **. And Uber support took the host side. This is the first bad experience I have had with Turo or this host. Usually it’s been great but I don’t see myself ever renting from this host again and I my never use Turo again. The experience was God awful!!!

The vehicle and host were great. The host was very generous. The car was cleaned out. They compensated me for their tardiness with a free day. They also contacted me later that I had left my headphones in the vehicle. I'd definitely recommend them and the Turo services to people.

The host added pictures from their photo library instead of taking pictures in that moment and then they tried to lie about the tank being on full. I had to show proof that I had to add gas. Also the check engine light came on one hour after renting the vehicle. We had to take it to AutoZone to get it checked/if it wasn’t last minute I would’ve returned the vehicle. Our entire trip we were on egg shells hoping we’d make it back home. I won’t be using Turo anymore. The turo fees are ridiculous. I’d do better off going to an actual rental service company.

The car is clean and performed well. The host is magnificent to work with. I doubt if there is a better host to work with. Although the host is great, Turo customer service failed us and then lied to us about the mistakes they made. They promise to investigate and return our calls but never do. I am always chasing them for answers.

I was impressed with Turo! I heard about Turo on YouTube and decided to try it out. I wanted a Tacoma but the Tacoma were $65 a day. Then I was going to get a compact car for $39 a day and something told me keep looking and I found the GLS for $45 a day! Of course I got a discount perhaps because vacation season was opening again. But that band was a champion. Totally 100% satisfied with the price with the car and for sure the gas mileage being a hybrid! Would I use Turo again? Without a doubt! This was my first time using Turo and it was such a great experience. It was very easy and I had all the information I needed through the app. Most importantly, the cost was reasonable as opposed to a traditional rental center and that's what really sold me. I will definitely be using Turo in the near future and recommending to all my friends and family!

The car was clean and in excellent condition. The owner was easy to work with and very friendly and flexible. Look forward to working with him and Toro again! Much better than using the standard rental car agencies! Wish there was a rewards program where Toro would give you points towards future rentals for each day you rent....

Awesome selection of cars. Easy to reserve, pickup, and drop off. So many options with flexible addons, unlike renting from the major car rentals. I definitely recommend Turo to all my friends and family! It is the most convenient service and makes sense for drivers and owners. And it's definitely better than renting from the major companies. This was my very first time renting a vehicle from Priscilla and she was very outgoing, sweet and UNDERSTANDING. She went out her way to be VERY CONVENIENT for my kids and I to still be able to get around. I enjoyed her and will be rent from her again if needed.

Great vehicle, nice and clean, the host had great customer service at time of delivery and was very sure to state rules and recommendations while the car was in our car, best service I have had in a while. Also the location was convinient and time efficient. My wife loved the car. Also the insides are beautiful, nice and clean. I will be booking with this host again as the service that is provided was valuable.

I have rented several vehicles, but she was the only one that has a car wash service for our usage and convenience! That means a lot considering at Mr Car Wash I paid 33.00 for a basic car wash and they didn't do a good job, so this is truly a bonus. The inside of car is very nice. She takes good care of her vehicle. I would an image of car if I knew how to do it.

You said you accept Revolut prepaid card but you don't because your system rejects the card every time saying it's a prepaid card, duh, why would you advertise a prepaid card then block it in the system, that's not very smart. So I would like to know the exact answer on why you don't accept the Revolut prepaid card when you said you did. Also I don't like the fact that with the electric car you never told me after the trip I would have to pay an extra invoice for charging fee. If I would have known that I would have charged it less or not have rented it in the first place.

The app was very easy to navigate and find the vehicle I needed. Extremely easy process and wonderful experience with our host. Would definitely use this service again and reccomend to friends and family. My host was very polite and easy to work with, and in a convenient location to me.

The second time using Turo, the payment as well as vehicle drop off, pick up went smooth. However, I noticed discrepancies in the posting online and in-app. The service is also ridiculous when I book a rental near the trip. I was paying a service charge almost as much as the car rental fee - ridiculous, the car owners deserves far more than the platform.

I really didn’t have any problems. I just need a bigger car on my next trip but affordable also. The car drove nicely, the comfort level was just so so due to my height and my legs are long too.. Great mileage & easy to maneuver. Will definitely be using Turo in the future.

Vehicle was ok. Several warning alerts on dash was on. Oil change overdue. AWD warning light on. I personally would not rent my vehicle in this condition. Vehicle drove satisfactory. Luggage area was not clean. Vehicle was priced well below a comparable rental vehicle so for the price it was still satisfactory.

Extremely satisfied with my very first TURO rental, thanks to the great host. The rental process was made so simple and accommodating, thanks to the wonderful host! The highlander is by far the smoothest drive I’ve ever had and I enjoyed my long trip thanks to how perfect everything was. Will definitely book again! Everything was 10/10

Had a very good experience renting Chad’s Wrangler! He was always quick with answers, with any questions I had. He delivered the Jeep to the drop off point promptly and was there when I looked over it before he left. The Jeep was very clean and performed flawlessly. I would recommend his vehicle to anyone that would be interested in a Jeep rental.

Our Convertible Camaro was fun to drive around the island. Everything worked great and our host was extremely quick to reply with any questions and give helpful ideas for the week. Would definitely use TURO again and rent from G if possible! Car ran great and we had absolutely NO problems!

The car rented was filthy. There was stains in the seats ants in the car burn marks all over the vehicle ashes in the floor mats. Grime near the gearshift, and some sort of residue inside of the door handles and a kind of sour smell inside I thought to myself I should cancel, the refund would take too long and the gentleman was very nice and explained to me that he had been in a rush, and didn’t have the opportunity to clean it as well as he liked because he had been booked back to back, I wasn’t gonna mention this because my host was actually pretty decent until he lied and said that I smoked in his car after I did a full detail on the vehicle as a courtesy, because he had been so nice to me with giving me locations to visit while I was in LA.

Adonis was very professional and responsive. I would very much like to thank Turo and Adonis for providing a safe and reliable vehicle for my family on our trip. I would definitely recommend Turo and Adonis to anyone looking to rent a vehicle in Texas and wherever turo is available

The host was racist towards the end after drop off. I'm not sure what happened but the host is not to be trusted. I do not recommend any minority to work with seller. The husband is the one who is racist not the wife. My suggestion is to do a full background check in the individual who are going to be hosting.

This was my First time using Turo. The initial car I reserved got canceled a couple of days prior to my trip. Turo found me a comparable vehicle and paid the difference. Customer service is on point. I am pleased and will use Turo again. 10 out of 10, I would recommend.

Great clean, like new car. Performed great on drive out of mountains on Thanksgiving evening in a blizzard storm. Transaction was easy and seamless. Owner was extremely responsive and help for my first time rental. I am planning on renting this car again during the Christmas holiday, and very likely in 2024 for other day trips and adventures.

Everything was smooth and easy with picking up and dropping off our car. The price was better than the regular car rental place such as Enterprise, Budget, etc... The car was immaculate and drove great. Our host Robert was great and very attentive to getting back with any questions that we had. I would highly recommend using Turo to others as well as plan on using again myself.

I had a great experience renting from Jacob. He was available when I flew in at 2am in the morning. I have no issues with Jacob's customer service. The vehicle was in working conditions and I was provided easy instructions to pick up and drop off the vehicle. Looking forward to the next time I am in Phoenix to rent from Jacob.

When we made the arrangement for the rental, we were advised that there was a 3-day minimum charge which we were satisfied with when we picked up the vehicle on Friday. We asked that it be picked up on Monday morning as we paid for pickup. We were charged for 4 days instead of 3. We are requesting a refund for 1 day.

The service has been great with the owners. The vehicles were outstanding, clean and I felt very safe to drive my children in it. All the owners of Turo cars are very professional and polite, cars are clean and safe. This creation of Turo definitely needed to happen and trust me, those that need a vehicle immediately without all the corporate mumble jumble is grateful. Thank you for the alternative.

This car was great, was perfect for the overseas highway, miles per gallon was 50+ only had to fill up once. It was the best road trip my wife and I have had so far and was super convenient to be able to hop right in a car when we got to the airport and skip the rental car company lines for the same price.

This was my first experience using Turo. I tried to be nice and leave the host a nice review even though the car was a bottom of the line model and 15 years old (which I did not notice. LOL. That's my error.). The car ran out of gas even though it was showing it still had gas. So on top of renting this car I had to walk to a gas station in the cold after having major surgery the day before.

My experience with Turo has been great. I've booked a car through the app 3 times within the past weeks. It is a convenient service to someone who needs to book a car for a trip or any other need that they may have. I would recommend the service to others to help spread the word. I guarantee you they won't be disappointed.

When first trying to do a pickup of a Turo rental - I selected current location. The current location did not work at all and it was determined that the location was 45 minutes away, a significant delay in trying to get a car. Had to cancel and rebook to someone else. Current location was not reliable at all. We had to manually find out our location and try to rebook someone else. What was surprising was that most rentals were willing to pick us up from our location. What would have been more helpful is to know an extra charge to pick up from our location when scrolling rentals (please feature from main menu)? The rental we ended up choosing cost us a lot more money since the expectation was to pick up from their house.

Excellent service and great communication. Car was perfect and rode great. Will definitely rent again. Turo has had great host on their app. I feel more than secure and safe when driving vehicles off of Turo. Thinking of joining the Turo network myself and adding some cars. This is a great source of additional income. Turo will always be the first I company I check with when in need of a rental.

3 days, nearly 4 hours for 12 people. Chatted and called, no one takes good enough notes for the next rep, repeated myself multiple times. Inconsistency in customer service. OK -- to begin with Jake was very responsive on all communications. The car, a 2022 Tesla Model 3, was in very nice condition (like new). Very attractive car, very clean and worked as you would expect this type of car to work. Price point was very reasonable -- I considered using Avis for the four days I needed a vehicle and this was way easier, a much nicer car, cheaper, and Jake was particularly accommodating to my tweaks in scheduling. Definitely will use him again. Very happy customer :-).

I had a terrible experience as a Turo Host!! We are in the SLC, Utah metro and started with a minivan. It was profitable, so we got another one, then tried a luxury SUV to appeal to the skiing visitors. The first 3 trips went perfect with raving reviews, but the third lost control in a rainstorm and got in an accident. Turo refused to process the damage claim, because my safety inspection was 3 months old. The claims adjuster also advised me that they could deny the claim, because I didn't have a photo of the guests Driver's License and photo of the guest holding the Driver's License. My personal insurance would not cover the damage, because the accident occurred during a Turo Trip. The damages we over $18,000 and we were stuck to cover the bill out of pocket!

The ride to SC was great, great on gas. Car was very clean and smelt good. No problems whatsoever. I would rent again. Thanks Mr. ** for an excellent ride. This was my first time renting but it won't be my last. The ride was very comfortable. Will recommend to my friends and family. Pick up time was good.

Updated on 12/01/2023: I had to Lyft ride to pick up the car, at no fault of the host, but was told it would be returned to me, but instead I got 10% of my next rental, I would have rather had my money back, as I'm not sure I will ever need a Turo in Nashville again.

He has Great communication and it was a very easy process. The car was very clean and exactly like the pictures. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family. While it was our first time using the Turo Trip our experience was over the top. Seamless process and avoided any and all crowds picking up our reserved vehicle during the Thanksgiving holiday. Thank you to our Host for walking us through the process and going above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly. Actually, we have already booked our next vacation.

I was at first like what is this?? How? Why?? Then my friends explained to me what the whole deal was and whatnot and I think this is the best way to go and if you have a friend who is working with them as well then you're helping them as they are helping you!!

We had never used Turo before planning our Thanksgiving trip for 2023. We found it very easy to navigate and search for all of our options and use the filters to accurately choose a vehicle. After we did choose a vehicle we had an amazing experience with Sean, who owned the van we rented. He was super helpful and amazing throughout the whole process and even left us a little gift for our road trip. We would definitely recommend using Turo to our friends and family.

Our trip was great! This is my second time using Turo and I will definitely use again, as opposed to renting from a car rental place, which has gone up extremely high in recent years. I have been very happy with my experiences thus far with both of my Turo hosts!

Vidas is an absolutely excellent host. Pick up and drop off are beyond convenient. This time he double checked with me before pick up because I had the wrong location, he went above and beyond! I’ve worked with him twice now and will look nowhere else if Vidas can help.

I love using Turo when traveling within the US! Great access to very good, quality vehicles! Whether it's a week long trip or a weekend behind the wheel of a super-car, there is something for every taste and budget. In almost every case, the communication with the hosts has been excellent. Highly recommend comparing rates and using this service.

It was great and will definitely be using Turo again! The whole process was easy and not difficult at all. Turo service is more convenient and you see all your charges upfront and nothing is hidden. Don’t have to wait to see if a car is going to be available because you know what you are getting.

This service is great and more convenient than renting a car from other sites like Enterprise. I felt like the price was fair! The car I received was new and very clean. I will definitely be renting from here often. I just wish there was closer areas for pick up the car in the city compared from having to pay an extra fee for drop off. Great communication! Responded quickly! Was able to extend the return and had no issues whatsoever. Car was clean, smelled good. My only concern and it’s nothing against the owner or service. The car is tight/small. I stand at 5’9, I was able to adjust the steering wheel in order for my knees not to hit. So if you’re a tall person, just remember to adjust the steering wheel.

Using Turo for the first time was easy and saved us a ton of money here is Alaska. The host was great and quick to respond with our questions. The host called when they were running late and gave us directions for drop off. The vehicle was clean and felt new. Overall, a great experience.

My wife and I never travel far. So when I planned a trip and needed to have a rental car at the train station for 5 am, I was definitely skeptical that things would work out especially using an app I never heard of. Well let me just say, if I were to need a rental car I am hoping that Turo is in the area I will be traveling to. 100% smooth and trusting transaction.

This was my first time using Turo and was pleasantly impressed with this service. The Car was easy to pickup and drop off, super clean, and great communication with owner! I drove from Atlanta to Raleigh NC and had amazing gas mileage. I would definitely use this service again! I loved how to the owner checked on me before and during the duration of the my trip!

Had car for three days. No issues. Car was clean and ran perfectly. Will probably rent same car again in the future. Host was easy to contact and was very professional through the whole experience. Next time I may rent for a week. Cost of rental was not much more than a rental from the big companies and you have with Turo a better selection.

This was my first time using Turo and it was by far the best experience I have had renting a car. Pick up and communication with Ivan very easy. The car drove amazing. I did not have any issues with the car on my long distance travels. I would definitely recommend Turo and my host Ivan to a friend for future travels.

Well I want to know why my account was cancelled?.. My last trip was a bad experience and the way you guys went by it was not right but canceling my account I did nothing wrong. I want to meet the guy again so I can smell the car and see if there was really a smoke smell. I don't smoke at all. When I got the car cleaned out the guy was smoking in the car and I told not to do that. It's a rental but dude didn't know English. I explained that to the guy that rented me the car. Not just that the gas was one box missing so I filled it up the same way I picked it up at.. When I picked the car up it had full tank but once I drove off from the drive way a square went down so it wasn't really a full tank so I filled it up to what it was.. I want to know why my account is cancelled. What did I do wrong?..

We will definitely use Turo again instead of a rental company. Everything about it is more personal and quite a bit easier and less stressful. I like that you can pick out the exact car that you will be using during your stay, instead of a "type". I like that using Turo supports locals. My family and I enjoyed the use of the 8-passenger van. Thank you to our host for also ensuring that using Turo was a positive experience for our first time.

This was my first time using Turo and my Host, Uriel made it seamless and easy. The car was clean, and exactly as described. I would recommend to try Turo if you haven't already. It is also fun to drive different vehicles that I have always wanted to try out.

The whole process was easy from search to securing a rental and picking up the car. It felt like borrowing a car from a friend. Turo was the only way to get a car near Midway Airport Chicago after midnight and before 6 AM. This was my first experience using Turo and I would try this again.

We booked a van in June. The night before our trip we could not get ahold of the owner, so I contacted Turo. They were helpful, kind, and walked me through the process of booking another van. In the end they gave us a $200+ credit to put us into a newer van. It all worked out, even though there was some stress in the moment. We were very satisfied and would use Turo again without hesitation.

So I start my rental a day in advance. I wasn't made aware if I couldn't find the car within 30 min I'd be canceled. So after an hour on the phone I go get car. When I leave the lot it's parked in I put in ticket and had to pay another 20$ to get out of lot. Not ok. Everything was fine. I extended for 2 days. No issue then I'm told my car wouldn't be ready for another day so I go on Turo app. It's asked how I rate my trip so far. I answer questions then try to extend my booking only to find out my answers made me end my booking. So now I can't extend. Good one turo because now I have to rebook meaning instead of being a 50 something dollar paid like I would if I was to extend it. I now have to pay a hundred and forty dollars for 1 more day. So I extended, it was now brought my time to drop off 830 'cause. The extending time that I pick up the car would be at 830 so I get the car back.

Tyler meet us immediately upon our arrival to pick up the van. The van was ready to go and the check out process was very quick. The van was very roomy and fit 6 adults and 3 children along with our luggage comfortably. We had a smooth ride to our destination and back home with no issues. The return of the van was quick and easy. We would definitely rent this van again.

App was user friendly and the host was very responsive. The ability to find a car that was within the miles needed made it a wonderful experience. The car was as advertised and it was exactly what I needed. 10/10 experience. I will definitely use again and recommend to friends and family.

There was a good selection of vehicles in a large price range and having the vehicle dropped off and picked up from my location was an amazing option and convenience. I will definitely be renting through Turo again. My host was quick to respond and the car was extremely clean.

We had a fantastic experience. However, was not happy with the additional fees. My personal auto insurance will cover Turo rentals, but I still needed to pay the minimum insurance to Turo. We rented a Tesla Model Y with the enhanced autopilot system. The owner of the car went above and beyond our expectations and is great ambassadors for the Turo company and for Tesla.

The rental process was easy and the renters had excellent customer service. The car was clean like brand new and road smoothly. The owner was considerate when I called to inform traffic was delayed several times making my drop off time later. I will definitely rent from Turo again even if I need a rental for a weekend.

My experience with Turo experience was great with Salee. She answered any questions I had to ask and replied back on time. The only problem I had was that the host uploaded pics of car not cleaned when I cleaned it out before dropping it back off and also uploaded old pics of scratches when there was no scratches when I dropped off the vehicle. I uploaded my pics of car with no scratches and haven’t heard anything back from her. Overall the experience was great and I will be booking another car from Turo very very soon.

From the easy pickup at the airport to the dropping off back at the airport, the entire rental was amazing. The car was perfectly clean and still had that new car smell! We were able to pick up our son and his family and all ride comfortably during our time in Riverside and our trip to San Diego! We will definitely be using this van (and Turo) for future visits!

You are welcome to advertise on my radio show. 2 years ago my daughter who made the reservations for this trip, rented 3 cars for my birthday while coming out of cancer and for my birthday being in NC. That was fun. They rented a Cooper, Mustang and I forgot the other car. It was a dream birthday wish with my son-in-law made it as possible. Plus, I am a former professional driver for Auto Driveway.

My trip was great but after returning not so great. All the extra fees I incurred after returning left me in shock and a overdrawn account. I have to think long and hard about using Turo again. By me being a first time customer I thought this would be a great experience.

I do not smoke nor did I have anyone that was smoking in the car. I am not paying the fee of $150.00. I want to know how it was determined I smoked in the vehicle, are there any pictures of me smoking?... This is a horrible experience and I want proof that I smoked in the vehicle asap. I am currently in the hospital but please know I have a lawyer.

Renting from Bryan was overall good. The vehicle was nice and accommodated our needs. The issues stemmed from an opportunity in foundational customer service for Bryan. Upon securing the rental I shared the purpose and destinations of our trip which included several National Parks where hiking and other outdoor activities occur. This led to normal wear and tear of the vehicle much like if you go to the beach, you expect sand.

I loved the car, was cleaned and very comfortable. German is very friendly, gave to me all the instructions and help me when needed. I really appreciate and enjoyed it. I recommend him. I reservation started with two cancellations from the host. I was deeply frustrated because it was right before the day of my trip. But then came superhero. Turo literally found a much more expensive better facilitation of my trip. Nevertheless, the mileage that was allotted for the trip was half of what I originally reserved, but then superhero came again, which is Turo saved my day by making sure that I do not have to worry because I originally reserved for the original miles.

Well the car we had the doors wouldn’t lock from the keypad and it started shaking every time you stop. But we had to put it in park until the light changed. But when the light changed we had to put it in drive. But That's every time. I don’t know what was wrong with it.

Crazy trip fees but other than that everything was good. The car was perfect, the owner was Very nice and accommodating. I like how it was close to home for me too. The app is easy to use but I feel like the Turo trip fee is too expensive.

The host was responsive and kind. The car was really clean and well-maintained and it was good on gas. My only issue is the cost. It cost me $190 for 3 days of use. It’s good if you’re in a bind and can’t get a traditional rental/pay the deposit, but it is expensive. There also weren’t really a lot of cars to choose from in my specific area. I had to drive a bit to get to the cars, which was another unanticipated cost.

So thankful for Turo. I was able to rent a car and spend Thanksgiving with my daughter and her family without breaking the bank. The car was amazing to put it mildly. I loved it and it was clean, gassed up and ready to go. I felt safe driving 3 1/2 to 4 hours by myself in this car and that was important to me and my family.

The car was ready and waiting at a near-by parking lot with the free shuttle. Instructions were clear and the staff was helpful. They were expecting me and made my in and out of the lot super quick. One pain was that you're supposed to remember to send photos in to Turo. That was forgotten because I just got into town and I'm off... Expensive town, Turo made a difference in the budget for this trip.

I understand the policy of no smoking…. I agree with the policy of no smoking. I rented right after him and had no issues. I do not smoke at all! I do not have pictures because the last thing I thought he would say was I was smoking, if a cleaning fee was needed ok, but smoking I will not accept and no one has helped with this matter.

I really enjoyed the Turo experience, I was able to rent a really fun mini-countryman for Thanksgiving for 75% less than what Avis would have charged me and I was able to contactless pickup at a very easy to find location. The person I rented from was flexible and accommodating, answering all my questions patiently.

Rented a 2019 Toyota Camry for the 2 days I was in Phoenix for Thanksgiving. Picked up at a nice secure structure. Was given directions and instructions that were exact. I was in and out instantly. Host planted a cigarette butt in cup holder TO GET MORE MONEY AND I DON'T SMOKE!!! I called to directly speak to someone and nothing was ever done. Turo didn't take into account my first experience which was awesome. This second time was absolutely a awful experience. I would not recommend Gurmo cars ever.

Turo allowed me to rent a car for a trip from OKC, OK to Buffalo, New York for a fraction of what it was going to cost me at other places. My host was excellent and made everything so simple. This was my first time using Turo and I will be checking the app for my frequent trips before ever considering renting from somewhere else.

It was easy to locate the owner and it was easy access the car, information was clear. The car was clean inside and out and the return went smoothly. The only thing I would recommend is that the owner check the mirror on the driver's side. It couldn't be controlled from inside the car.

Erick is excellent to work with and the rental vehicle, A Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited X was in perfect shape and a top end 4x4. This is the second time I have rented this car and will attempt to rent it again when I am back in the area. I only rent quality cars and this definitely meets that criteria.

Car had a cracked windshield upon pickup, that got worse throughout the trip. We were driving in a snowstorm, and because of the cracked windshield, the defrosted wasn’t working. It was incredibly unsafe. While I appreciate that our rental car wasn’t canceled because of the cracked windshield (because then we would have been stuck without a rental car), if I had gotten a rental car through a standard rental service, this wouldn’t have happened because Hertz (or whomever) would have given me a safe car to drive. Because of how the Turo system is set up, I cannot ask for money back from Turo, only from the host, which is very uncomfortable for me to do so.

The description of the vehicle was accurate. Great communication with the owner. Directions to find the vehicle were easy to understand. Vehicle was clean and very comfortable. I had no issues and any questions that did come up the owner was quick to reply. I would definitely rent from them again.

My family trip went very well. Davi quickly responded to any questions and made my first Turo experience GREAT. The vehicle was clean and well maintained. It was a very smooth ride. The pick up and return process was a smooth transition. I was very comfortable in this vehicle. Definitely a winner.

Buying a snowblower can be difficult and expensive. New ones will cost arms & legs for a real 2 stage snowblower with an engine which has at least 9 horsepower or higher. So, I began looking for a cheaper option of getting a 2nd hand snowblower. They comes in at an attractive price tag but with very little information on the condition along with all purchase needing to be picked up. With a big machine like that needs either cargo van or truck to be able to move which I do not have. In order for this to work I had to rent a cargo van or truck and finding a cheap rental meant that I had to drive out of way a bit to get a good deal and which I did. I drove down south about 1 hour to rent a cargo van through a Turo and had to go pickup the snowblower from nice gentlemen about 40 min north of my home. So, it took me entire morning on a Thanksgiving day to do it with help of my brother.

We rented a car for 5 people in Denver to explore the mountains during snowy/rainy season. The process started smooth, and the car was great. Upon return we left accidentally left 3-4 pieces of plastic from gas station candy and no other debris or trash. It snowed on and off the whole trip. We didn't eat in the car, nor leave any sticky or soda type spills. The rubber floor mats were very dirty from the in and out of the rain and mud, but nothing to do with the carpets or seats or anything permanent structure of the car. The floor mats would have required being sprayed off no matter how MORE careful we already could be. We tried to make sure ONLY dirty boots touched the rubber floor mats ONLY. We were erroneously charged $150 even tho we didn't do anything beyond normal. VERY careful use. Totally inappropriate.

Good experience. A little uneasy about liability as car showed up with dents and scratches and possible brake/steering issues. Turo host was incredibly attentive and responsive no issues. Just wish there was more clarity around the condition of the vehicle to provide peace of mind as a driver/renter that I’m not having to get into some dispute. Host was super cool so no issues for me thank goodness.

The gorgeous Corvette turned heads wherever we went and was a hit with everyone. A blast to drive. The vehicle needed an oil change when we received which caused a constant worry throughout the trip. Also the vehicle had damages with the interior that caused us to be more careful with the vehicle and worried me as a driver if more damages were going to occur while the vehicle was under my care. Also to owner offered a solution to get the oil change handled but I would've came out of pocket for the repairs which is not what I intended for my trip.

The vehicle and our host were both excellent. Anytime we had questions, he was fast to respond. He was great at communicating. The vehicle ran well, got good gas mileage, and was very comfortable for the drivers and passengers. The van even had a TV, which we didn’t expect. Will rent again!

Will was excellent to rent from. Even though there was an issue with a recall on the original vehicle I rented, Will gave me a replacement vehicle which was more than comparable for the same price. Reservation #**. Vehicle reserved approximately one week early. Host advised it was in the shop but should be ready for pickup on specified date. A day prior to pickup date host called to say vehicle would not be ready. The host offered another vehicle at a higher price, but I declined. The host advised to cancel the reservation. I was charged a cancellation fee. I contacted the host who advised they would refund me the portion of the fee that they would collect from Turo. They refunded about 2/3 of the fee. The host I spoke to throughout was named Mojo and she was very courteous and professional.

I love Turo. Love the concept. Love the convenience and efficiency and choices. In my experience (5 rents in different locations), however, the single biggest problem is vehicle reliability. In my 5 rent history, 4 of them required some sort of service mid-trip (wipers that were metal-on-glass, low oil light, low tire inflation, etc). This tarnishes the Turo brand as it casts an impression of unreliability, of hassle, of safety concerns. No one has time, whether on vacation or business, to be pulling off the freeway to find a mechanic or service station to address maintenance issues.

I love the convenience of the app, no waiting in a line, choosing the car you want to drive on the trip to fit your need. Review the owner's profile/car before choosing. Specific during the selection process: like mileages, where to pick up and drop off, emergency numbers, point of contact and most importantly suggestions on where to visit if it's just a vacation in a new area. Great app!

Getting to the rental area from LAX was easy. Both vehicle acquisition and vehicle return were seamless. We enjoyed the conversation with POC doing the hand-off, and he happened to be available to help us when we had trouble finding a parking spot upon return. I will definitely book with Malibu again if I am looking for a rental in LA.

Website was great. Was easy to stroll through and re-search for vehicles and owner of vehicle was friendly. Easy to talk to you. Vehicle was in good condition in all aspects. We came Maui on a private boat and They also dropped off the vehicle to us, so that was very helpful. I would definitely. Recommend my family and friends to rent from Turo.

This was first time using Turo. I rented for a long weekend vacation. They included 600 free miles, which was more than enough. It was a positive experience, very easy to navigate the website, picking up and dropping off car was painless and bonus did not have to wait on long car rental lines. Cody made sure there was communication between us. Will use Turo again in the future.

Turo was very convenient, much more so than a rent a car company. Mathew was very good at communicating where & when the vehicle was available. Being able to extend our rental of the Bronco was easy. The Bronco Sport we rented was clean & well maintained. Very accommodating for our needs as a family of 4 with our luggage.

Instructions for locating vehicle and gaining access were accurate and easy to follow. Shuttle bus dropped us off right next to vehicle. Vehicle was extremely clean and nicely detailed; as nice as described and portrayed in photos. I would definitely rent this vehicle again on our next trip to Kansas City. Highly recommend!

Really nice suv! The Vehicle was in Good shape, easy to pickup and drop off this vehicle!! It literally took 5 minutes to pick up. The Vehicle gas tank was Full, clean on the inside and out Also quick responses from the owner, I will definitely use again!!!

Great car to rent! It was clean, reliable, and felt very safe. Only small issue I had was the USB ports didn't work for me. Would absolutely recommend and/or rent again if given the chance. Even got a chance to put the top down in late November! What fun drive.

Jason canceled me last min. I am very disappointed. This is not a very good business practice.. I believed he canceled the order cause someone wants to book for more money or more days.. He texted me last min that someone wanted the van in Redding for last min vehicle breakdown. I booked the van for important function that we have to attend for the group.. This is not right.. Please refund the money you charge me..

I really enjoyed the car and Bradley the host was amazing. The app was so easy to use and great for communicating. Bradley was very helpful as a host and responded quickly to any questions I had. I accidentally locked my keys in the trunk and he was willing to drive 3 hours to get me the spare key. Fortunately I was able to get in on my own. I am considering listing one of my vehicles on Turo.

All was as expected, car was great, interaction with provider was great. The only thing I can add is perhaps you could make it a bit clearer as to what the process is when returning the car. It seems I didn't discover that I had to take pictures etc till well after I had returned the vehicle.

Easy to use app, very user friendly and the whole process from searching, to booking and returning was A++++. Prices were competitive and easily beat most traditional rental agencies. Will continue to use this service. The security measures to ensure that the process goes smoothly was very well thought out and goes a long way to ensure a great experience.

We got great price. About 200.00 less than going thru a car rental company. The car ran great and was clean. The owner was very detailed and easy to communicate with. Pick up and drop off were simple. We would definitely use again when in the area. We highly recommend using.

Car was in terrible condition on the inside and minor damage on the outside with bumps and dents everywhere! It was so dirty inside I don’t think it’s ever been cleaned! But I detailed myself before returning it and he was happy I’m sure. Keep your cars clean before renting them out!

We rented a van from Kristoffer it was perfect. No issue. Kristoffer made the process so easy and answered any questions we had. I would recommend to anyone needing a van for trip to reach out to Kristoffer. It’s a perfect vehicle for a weekend getaway. It had all features needing to keep the kids entertained.

The owner was easily contacted throughout. The car was found as pictured and easily picked up and dropped off at Palm Springs International airport. Free car wash throughout helped me keep the car clean. I plan on renting from Richard again when I return to the desert in February.
