    A fiberglass tub with cracks, so the water did not go down the drain! Baby roaches on the countertop of the sink area! Top of the bed 18 inches off the floor. Electrical outlet located on the floor? How is that up to electrical code? Light shining through window all night! No curtains! Sheet had cigarette burn holes in it! Wood flooring was poorly laid and floor had low spots! Writing on ceiling.

    VERY UNFRIENDLY EMPLOYEES!!! Shady people everywhere. I felt extremely uncomfortable at this establishment!!! Would not want to live in this neighborhood!!! Hot showers in the middle of summer. I can't remember a worse experience ever traveling!!!

    Very disappointed with Super 8, Winnipeg West. We left hotel morning of the 23rd. We left earlier because the water was turned off for maintenance during the night. It was supposed to be turned back on in the wee hours of the morning. We were travelling with my 93 year old mother and there was no toilet to be used… no running water in the shower. Not of anyone’s fault, but there should have been some sort of compensation for putting people out in such a way. In addition to that, because of the rush to leave the hotel, my husband left behind a hearing aid device and charger.

    Later that afternoon when my husband realized that the devices were left behind, he called front desks and they confirmed that they had been found. He politely asked if they could be put in a bubble envelope and sent to our home address in Montreal. He waited two weeks because he had not received them. He phoned back the hotel and they told him they hadn’t been sent yet to which the front desk said they would send a return form for him to fill out. The hotel wanted to charge him $40 to return them. He called the hotel again asking to speak to the manager. In all fairness, having to leave the hotel so quickly because there was no water, the least they could do is send the devices back at no charge to us. $40 is a wee bit hefty for a device that barely weighs anything at all. The manager called back and agreed to send them at no charge. After two more weeks of waiting, we realized they weren’t going to be sent.

    My husband had to buy a new hearing aid device which cost him $250. Today, we received an email from “Ileftmystuff team” asking if we want to fill out a form (same form we filled out weeks ago) for $40. Obviously, management hasn’t a care in the world and no intention of sending the devices back. A reminder to anyone who stays at Super 8… Don’t leave anything behind. It will cost you! We will never stay at a Super 8 again… Not ever.

    Carpet had lots of stains, bed sheet had a cigarette burn, AC vent was plugged with lint and other yuck! Shower had a big piece of porcelain missing, chair cushions were also stained. There was no ice machine on the second floor. You had to go to the first floor and it was way at the far end. There were also no water cups In the cups in the room. Shower had Luke warm water, no hot water!

    Why was the hotel playing Fox news propaganda in the breakfast room. I felt threatened and unwelcome, and many patrons looked uncomfortable. The motel was otherwise on par with other budget roadhouses, but I will definitely avoid this brand in the future.

    Your establishment Super 8 in Mokena, IL. unlawfully took money from my checking account. I canceled my reservation due to unclean and unhealthy environment. Because of their private policy which is only stated at the front desk, this company took money without service leaving my family and I sleeping in our car...

    The experience with this hotel was absolutely insane. The owner is disrespectful, the hotel is disgusting and quite frankly unbearable to even stay in. I’ve never left a bad review at a single place in my entire life. So it’s saying something for me to be here now. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. The BBB or whoever it concerns most, should be looking into the establishment. It’s not fit for business. Check room 222 for confirmation.

    My recent stay at Super 8 in Henrietta NY was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. The website advertised a smoke-free environment, but it was everything except smoke-free. First, we checked in online and paid a $50 holding fee, then we had to pay another $50 holding fee and had to check in again because, according to the desk person, online check-in isn't allowed so we couldn't have checked in online (in essence he called my wife and I liars). We received our room assignment which was on the second floor of the motel only to find out there were no elevators, so we had to carry our luggage up a flight of stairs. I found that very strange especially since there were luggage carriers left in front of exit doors around the motel. Even if we wanted to use a luggage carrier, we certainly weren't going to be able to carry the luggage carrier upstairs.

    Our room smelled like a ** & cigarette smoke house. The fumes were so awful (my wife was having an allergic reaction) I went down to the front desk to request a different room. I also informed the attendant that the smoke detector was missing. He reluctantly gave me another room. My wife and I moved to the second room, and while the smell of cigarettes was not as powerful as the first room, it was still quite overwhelming, especially in the bathroom. I discovered that the smoke detector in this second room had been disabled. Also, the bathroom toilet was not working properly (it was almost overflowing). It was at this point my wife and I decided we were not going to stay in this substandard facility. We obtained reservations at a much better hotel, gathered our things and left.

    Before leaving, I returned to the front desk and told the attendant the condition of the second room and our dissatisfaction with our entire brief 2 hour stay and that we were leaving for better accommodations. He was not concerned and seemed annoyed that I had even bothered to talk to him. I will never stay, nor will I recommend staying at another super 8 (at least the super 8 in Henrietta NY). It was a horrible, horrible experience and a complete waste of money. If I could rate it lower than one star, I would.

    We stayed at Super 8 in Webster City, IA. The outside environment was very load. The exit door was propped open with a rock, and the card entry was faulty and only worked part of the time. Our room had roaches and lacked general upkeep. The sink in the room leaked a puddle. We will not be staying there again.

    I have stayed at the Longview one a few times. The check out guy is the worst, always on the phone and interrogate you on why you stayed and what you did in the room. I will tell everyone I know about this guy and will never stay there again!!!! Dirty room, rude service and an hour to check out. Never again

    Our room was falling apart!! The bathroom light was not working. All it emitted was a small blue glow. We had to use our cell phone's flashlight!! Neither phone would allow us to call out. The phone in the bathroom fell off the wall when I attempted to use it. The sink would become clogged, and flaky black gunky pieces would come up out of the drain. The blow dryer also fell off the wall when I attempted to use it. The wifi was spotty and actually didn't work at all for the most of one day of our stay. The satellite signal was not working. We couldn't access the "free" Showtime or any of our own streaming channels. We had access to only about 15 television channels.

    This was supposed to be a handicapped accessible room. It It was not. The bed could only be accessed on one side. The refrigerator area was completely inaccessible to me. The room was located at the end of a very long hallway, and the closest exit wasn't even handicapped accessible!! Our key cards would just become deactivated, and we had to go to the front desk to have them reactivated. They did send someone to do some repairs, but it was at 8:45 pm the night before checked out!! At that point, it was a little too little and a little too late. I would HIGHLY advise you to stay somewhere else!!!! I have filed complaint with the ADA and the BBB.

    Over priced. Very rude guy behind the counter in the morning. Broken down old motel. Literally sat in lobby watching the guy argue and be rude to people on the phone. Worst place I've been in a long time. Their online rating of 1.5 stars is deserved. Burn holes in sheets. Smells of residual smoke. Breakfast is lame. See photos.

    This motel does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING with POT SMOKING IN THEIR ROOMS?!! IT REEKS OF POT day & night. The police need to SURVAIL THE PARKING LOT ALL NIGHT. The night clerks just sit & watch TV. They need to do a better job at REMOVING THE DISRIPTIVE PEOPLE WHO COME HERE JUST TO PARTY. Customers need a refund for the lack of sleep & all night parking lot druggies, absolute lack of respect for others who are here to just relax & enjoy a getaway.

    Super 8 by Wyndham Hardeeville 19289 Whyte Hardee Blvd Hardeeville, South Carolina. Absolutely filthy and horrible place. We are 2 seniors. We're compelled to stay there late night in March 16. Everything was dirty, beddings not changed, the bath and shower were full of human hair from all parts of the body. So, we could not sleep there, nor could we take a shower, in an extremally unsanitary situation. We showed our pictures to a front desk, but the manager was very sarcastic and refused to return our $110 that we paid for this less that 1 star garbage place. They should be closed down by SC authorities or by Wyndham headquarters. Let Public Beware. We will let everyone know on social media and beyond.

    I had an awful experience in the Super 8 in Fort Mitchell! The room was very dirty and looked like it wasn't cleaned! There were still ** seeds and stems on the desk so it was obviously not wiped! There were chips and crumbs that look like they have been there for weeks under the chair cushion! I doubt the bedding was even changed and had rips and tears in it! The heater made a roaring noise that was so bad my wife couldn't sleep.

    2 towels for 4 guests. Closed pool for vomit. Would not clean it and open pool. Would not let me clean it. I would have. My kids went to swim. Not enough pillows. Front desk rude to my family members. Pool was nice. We will stay somewhere else next time.

    We stayed at the Super 8 by Wyndham in Latham NY and never would go back ever again. First the floors in our room were so dirty that our shoes were sticking to the floors every step we took. Also the lamp didn't work so the only lights were the lamps by the bed which were so bright and the lampshades were all ripped and crooked due to being so old. The front desk agent was beyond rude and so unwelcoming telling us that we couldn't wait inside the lobby for our ride because she had to clean and she can't have our stuff in the way. I said that our ride was arriving shortly and it was snowing outside and 19 degrees and she very rudely told me that we can't wait inside. So we ended up waiting outside in the freezing cold. The lack of customer service skills she displayed were utterly disgusting and not acceptable in any way whatsoever..

    Got here early Friday morning and the first room I was put into the toilet leaked out onto the floor, when I informed the front desk he seemed like setting up for breakfast was more important than my issue. He just switched me rooms. My second room the ac/furnace unit was missing the vents as seen in the picture. Also there was a faceplate by the desk that was falling off.

    I booked Super 8 Wyndham in Grove City through Expedia but I did not purchase cancellation insurance because I had no intention of cancelling. Shortly after we crossed the border in Niagara Falls, we hit a major snowstorm and we’re forced off the highway. The I90 was closed and stayed closed for 3 days. When I returned home, I called the hotel and asked if they would issue a refund or compensation in any way such as a future stay. They directed me to Expedia. I sent the attached pictures as proof that we were forced off the highway. Expedia then called Wyndham and they refused to compensate me. So I followed up with a call to Wyndham head office who immediately said this was totally up to the hotel.

    Long story short, I lost out as a customer. So, these 2 work together - Wyndham sells rooms to Expedia but they don’t work together when it comes to customer care. My warning is DO NOT USE EXPEDIA TO BOOK YOUR HOTEL UNLESS YOU BUY CANCELLATION INSURANCE. Also, if you book with Wyndham, expect that they will tell you to contact Expedia like they have nothing to do with your problem. Total lay unfair to the customer. I won’t be booking with either company anytime soon. Just hoping I save someone a few dollars with this info. I’m retired and last time I checked, there weren’t any money trees in my yard!

    We checked into Super 8 in Salem Illinois. The desk clerk was one of the rudest people we have ever come across. We got to our room and found mold on the curtains and the hotel is so run down and gross.. BEWARE. We will never go back, it's disgusting!!!!

    Made reservations in Raleigh NC at this Super 8, I’ve been to many and never had a problem like this before. The room had Mold, no hot water, and when I asked to change rooms I encountered an Unprofessional clerk. I Changed rooms only to be put in a room that was always occupied. I was done after that. But then he wouldn’t give me a refund, called corporate, they told me to contact Expedia. Y'all ever try dealing with an online entity?! I was so done.

    My husband and I stayed at the Super 8 by Wyndham in Green River, WY 8/16/2024. Very disappointed on our arrival. Old and run down. Took over 10 minutes for clerk to show up at the front desk. The mattress was worn out and had a hole in the middle that I kept rolling into making my night's sleep horrible. Carpet was worn. Facility had a stale, sour smell. No wash cloths in bathroom. Amenities skimpy. The electric outlet that the hair dryer was plugged into had dirt/dust hanging out of it. NOT WYNDHAM QUALITY. Wyndham Chain should go to the facility before putting their name on a hotel. VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!

    Reserved my room Jan 14, 2024 for 3 days in Black Mountain, NC for a event I'm working. The hotel called me June 4th after they cancelled my reservation, lying, saying they wouldn't be open those days. The guy said they were going to be remolding and no guests allowed to stay. I went right back online and successfully reserved same room, same hotel to see and it was double my original reservation price. Not only is that against the law, it's BAD BUSINESS!!!

    Super 8 by Wyndham Middletown. We stayed 2 nights. Transients renting rooms, smoking ** and cigarettes in rooms. Hallway stunk of this, had to put towel on floor by door to keep smells out. Supposed to be smoke free. Front desk said "what would you like me to do about it?". Key cards deactivated day early. Hair dryer didn't work, they had no replacement. Shower head crusted with hard water deposit. Very unhappy and disgusted. WILL NOT STAY THERE AGAIN!

    I reserved a room for a week, as my home was lost to an electrical fire. No place to go. My son and I. My husband was working and asked his brother to drop me off. His brother was waiting for me to check into my room, so he got out of the vehicle. There was a bin of ice cream on the ground and when he got out the vehicle he didn’t realize it was there and kicked it over. He wasn’t even renting the room! The manager said because he dumped milk out in the parking lot, she didn’t want “my kind” renting a room. She said “We don’t need your type of guest here. Our guests don’t need nothing like you here!” And so, my RIDE started arguing with her - she looked at me and was SCREAMING “Why did he say (this and that)?!?!” Ummmm????

    So- she doesn’t want my kind there - but it’s fine for her lying - racist kind to be a manager???? In case you didn’t guess… his skin is ** - like mine …. To think - racism is okay …. And still exists today .... is sad …. But .... typical ….. Just DON'T BOOK HERE…. She said my kind … like DoubleTree is her kind!!!! It’s the Motel 8!!!! I booked here because it’s the cheapest hotel in Fayetteville!!!!

    I had reserved a room for two nights. At the last minute we had a severe family emergency happen. I was able to go online and effortlessly cancel my reservation with no extra charges or hassle.     Super 8 Hurricane, Utah. We were stuck there 2 nights. The 1st room air conditioner came on like a bomb and continued to be extremely loud. The 2nd room smelled extremely musty. In the 3rd room, the toilet seat was loose as was the towel rack. The chain lock was broken. Coffee pot was dirty. And no cover over the batteries on the remote control. Now we're at a Super 8 in Lake Powell which is very nice.

    Hotel smelled like ** and mold. Room reserved for 2 people with king size bed, only 2 very small pillows and no comforter. I ask for 2 more pillows and was told no. Mattress lumpy and extremely uncomfortable. 1 wash cloth and 1 bath towel was in bathroom for 2 people. Shower smelled of urine and mold.

    Super 8 on Equipment Drive/Sugar Creek, Charlotte, NC is a excellent hotel for people who are tried of overpriced downtown hotel that only offers a boring free breakfast. I like this establishment because it's close to everything & easy highway access. I was there for the LL COOL J show, that took place at the Spectrum Arena downtown, the Super 8 hotel is literally 11 mins away from downtown. So yes l be staying here again & again, just simple clean rooms around stores, restaurants, bars... Give this hotel a try if you don't want to pay $75-$100 for hotel parking downtown.
