I was booking with a hotel for business. I did it via internet. The experience with the customer service representative was excellent. Carlos, specifically, was courteous and knowledgeable and able to answer all my questions. It was easy to book using the system. It was for Memphis, Tennessee, the Memphis Airport Hotel and Conference Center. My company had booked some work there so I decided to stay there, and when I searched, it was the first website that came up so I decided to use it.
I had a concern while I was there. I was impressed that I had received an email from Carlos or from the company saying we hope you liked your stay or it was a thank you for booking with HotelPlanner.com. It was a follow-up and there was an actual name and phone number and I was able to call that name and that phone number with the extension and he picked right up. I totally appreciated that and then he too has followed up with me on my concern. I just thought it was great customer service. They are courteous and reliable.

I actually went online to try to find out a hotel in Santa Rosa for tomorrow night. I think I’ve been home a total of eight days this month, and so I’m always on the road. I’m always on Orbit, always on Expedia, Travelocity. And then Hotel Planner came up and I thought, “I’ll try that.” It came up under BookingBuddy. I trust BookingBuddy and so I went on there and I thought, “Oh, this one came up with cheaper rates than anybody.” I was very impressed. And the system was very easy to use. In fact, much easier than Travelocity or Orbit.
Then it got really convoluted. It was an individual booking for tomorrow in Santa Rosa. A friend of mine found something that was a little bit cheaper and I was intrigued by that. So I went with that and then I called Carlos right away. He was able to take care of the cancellation within minutes. He was able to contact me with somebody who could take care of my cancellations by noon today. I had a really good experience with Carlos. I have dealt with Expedia where I’ve had to do cancellations before and they make you write a letter, they make you send an email, and they really don’t take care of it themselves but they give me the process to follow which is fine. But this morning, I was very surprised that Carlos is able to get the third party on the line, get it taken care of, get the cancellation done. I thought, “Oh wow, really?” because of my past experiences with Expedia, with Travelocity, even with Orbit. I would recommend.

I used HotelPlanner to select a hotel for a group of ten in London. Fritz ** was very helpful throughout the planning. I was very satisfied with the hotel - cleanliness, location, friendliness of staff all were very good, as was the price. I only wish I had used HotelPlanner for our hotels in Paris and Rome as well.

I had to travel to Tampa for business earlier this month, and used HotelPlanner.com to find a great hotel that fit well within my company's hotel allowance. The Embassy Suites in Downtown Tampa was very nice, and the deal I got by using HotelPlanner.com was much better than other sites I checked. I definitely recommend using HotelPlanner.com to find great deals on hotels.

We asked HotelPlanner.com for help for the organization of a study trip to Hong Kong and Singapore and received great support. We had a broad selection of hotels to choose from in both locations. I first used HotelPlanner.com probably about three years ago. I manage a musical group. It’s a Motown group. And we were going somewhere and I was looking for some deal and I think I went to Expedia but once you get to a certain number of rooms you need, they can’t handle it. And I don’t remember if they referred me to HotelPlanner.com or I found it in some other way but I was looking for somebody that could handle group reservations. That’s how it happened.
I booked it online. The system is very easy to use. I think the whole process is very, very clear. It’s very transparent. I like getting the bids without having to commit to anything. The terms are fully laid up there because I’m sort of the middleman here when it came to this one that I just did. So I had to explain everything to everybody and so having it all right there was perfect. I have people who never travel who knew exactly what to do because I could say, “These are the steps.” The destination was Greenville, North Carolina. The whole experience was easy, efficient and clear. I think it’s just very, very unique. I haven’t found anything quite like it. As a matter of fact, I already referred another group to use it for a retreat they’ve got coming up in January.

I haven’t been out to LA in a long time so I just began searching around and I happened to see a link for HotelPlanner.com on just a general search. And so I just went on there and I just put some dates in. I think I went to each individual hotel trying to find out and I put in dates for checking for availability. And what popped up was this site that had some discounted room rates. So that’s how I think I got there. And so I just put it in and the rate was acceptable so I just proceeded from there.
I actually booked it on the phone. I just had a question about the room, what it actually had in it. Because it did say what amenities were in the hotel and everything but the specific room, it did say that it had a balcony and two queen-sized bedrooms, but I really kind of lost sight of whether it actually said it has a refrigerator or anything else in there. So I went beyond to make a phone call to see if somebody could clarify it to me a little bit more.
The initial hotel planner who helped me was extremely polite, helpful and extremely suggestive. After we went through the whole booking process, I asked him about the room. And in between when he was doing the booking, I asked him questions and he was more than happy to answer anything that I wanted to ask him. And then afterwards, he just said to me, “Well, will you be dining out or do you know what you’re doing?” And I said, “I’ll probably be dining out.” So he made some very nice suggestions. He didn’t plug one place. He said, “What kind of food do you think you might be interested in?” There are several places and he gave me several phone numbers and the places that I might want to check into to go to for food or just different tourist attractions and things.
When I was on the phone, he was very, very pleasant. He went above and beyond. I had an email then from Hotel Planner that said, “Thank you for your hotel reservations.” And it was signed Carlos **. So I thought that was the person that I had spoken to. I called back because I did have one more question. I had to leave a message because of our time differences. I wasn’t sure what time to call. But then someone did call me back the next day and he said his name was Carlos but he was actually not the original person that did all the entry of the reservation information for me. And I didn’t really go beyond that. But then when I had dealings with Mr. **, he was exceptional. He followed through just exactly everything the other person had told me.
I did ask the questions again. I asked all this, “Did it have this? Did it have that?” But I also was asking some other questions like was it in a smoking room or does it face a freeway or a pool or whatever? And so, he really helped me. I had nothing but supreme customer service from both of those gentlemen and I believe when somebody does help you like that and they go out of their way... he’s not getting paid any extra for it. He really took the time and didn’t rush me. Really, really was very suggestive and very helpful. They just need to have that little kudos to say, “Hey, whether or not this gives you 5 cents more in your paycheck, I do want you to know that you did a really good job.” And in the future, if ever I need to travel, I will definitely use that website and get some help through the superior information that they gave me.
He put me in touch with a supervisor by the name of Walter and God only knows, I couldn’t tell you, he might be with Hotel Planner or he might be with another. It just seems like there are interconnections between the hotel and whatever. And Walter was very gracious. He said, “I’m sorry for that inconvenience. This room does not have that. You can go ahead. Since the refrigerator is for $10 a day and you’re staying for four days, what we can’t do is we can’t put the refrigerator in there. We priced it for you. But we will refund you or credit you 10% on your total booking which was $760 or something,” he said. So they were able to give me credit back, $76. He said, “To which you can apply that towards requesting availability of the refrigerator.” If word of mouth goes a long way with you, I will talk it up. It was an overly positive experience with customer service every which way. Even though the first guy got it just a little bit wrong, he made up for like 99% of that by giving me all these other helpful tips and being so courteous and pleasant.
Mr. ** was extremely helpful. Walter, the supervisor, was extremely nice. He made the suggestion for the credit and the refund. I wasn’t ** or complaining about it at all. I just sort of made a little statement to say that I don’t know where that information came from. He may have pulled up the wrong link or something so I said, “Maybe if you just check that because this is what I was told.” But it’s okay. He said, “No, no, no.” And he went ahead and suggested the credit refund. So that was great because I wouldn’t have thought even to push for that. It was a very positive customer service experience and I would use Hotel Planner again. I would recommend it to more than one friend.

I heard about HotelPlanner.com from the internet. I was looking for a cheaper price for a hotel. They seemed to have the best deal. Actually, I was booking for a friend for two nights. It was local. They came to visit me and I had to get them a place to stay. It was easy to navigate and book. It was fun. They did a great job!

Got via Hotels Planner. Location wonderful, best base to go all Disney parks. Around it, restaurants, shopping. Quiet at night. Large room. Swimming pool, free Wi-Fi, coffee maker, safe, good parking. Staff attitude and service is great. Maintenance bad. We'll be back.

The ease with which we found suitable accommodation once we started using HotelPlanner contrasts with the weeks of stress that we had emailing places, trying to phone across time zones and dealing with a weakening currency. Got caught at last minute to book hotel room for hockey team. Instead of having to call the different hotels, simply used HotelPlanner.com to have hotels in the area submit their bids. It took half a day and I had 4 bids, very reasonable prices and reputable hotels. Liked the follow-ups from HotelPlanner staff. Overall would recommend to anyone booking for groups.

I am delighted with the invaluable assistance I received from HotelPlanner.com in making arrangements (hotel accommodations, meals, conference facilities) for an academic conference in Marrakech. Technically, this is a very user-friendly service. More importantly, we booked some excellent facilities, and the human intervention by the Hotel Planner international coordinator was crucial in resolving some confusion with the hotel management in Morocco and finalizing these agreements. My recent stay was to attend a sports competition with my team. As the person responsible for booking the accommodations, I needed to take into account several factors: price, proximity to venue, accessibility to major routes, amenities (fitness center, pool, laundry, restaurant) and most importantly, comfort. This hotel met all of these requirements and more.
The staff from the reservation stage to our departure were courteous and helpful. The restaurant served a good buffet breakfast and were willing to amend their hours to help us meet our race times, and the on-site shop supplied items that were needed. The rooms were very nicely furnished, beds were comfortable and washrooms spacious. This is a low-rise hotel, newly built but operated with efficiency. Located in a quiet business oriented district, there was little noise to be heard (we had concerns as it was west of a major airport).
There is no hesitation for us to book at this location in future - as a group booking, it was incredibly affordable for the comfort, style and caliber of hotel. Highly recommended if you do not mind a short commute to downtown via major highway.

I made a reservation at Crestwood Suites. Big mistake. I canceled same day because I am allergic to dog dander... The hotel was in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. When I called them back, they were not even in the United States. They were from the Philippines. They gave me at least 8 different numbers and then said their boss was Expedia. I called Expedia and they denied it. I also contacted the Better Business Bureau when I found out they won't refund your money. I found a number for the hotel and called it. It was in Spanish.
I later had a lawyer friend of mine call and request my money back and she says the place was a private residence. I have been around and around with them. My cousin called me and she went to the hotel to stay. They would not give her money back. She left. She said the hotel was not even fit for a dog and very nasty and smelled of dog urine and dog hair was on everything in the rooms.

I booked 2 rooms for 3 nights in Franklin, NC. I thought I had booked these rooms at the best rate available. I think Hotelplanner.com claims to have the best rate GUARANTEE. When we got to Franklin, I found out that I could have booked the same exact rooms for $20 a night less. That would have saved me over $120. Thanks a lot, HOTELPLANNER.COM. I called to see about getting a partial refund, but was told "TOO BAD". You got me once, but you can bet your ** you won't get me again.....

Hotel Planner was great in helping me find a hotel in downtown San Antonio for a weekend getaway on a budget. The hotel, Hotel Indigo Downtown Alamo, was in a perfect location at a great price. The hotel was very unique and a blast to stay at with all kinds of entertainment within walking distance. I highly recommend both the hotel and Hotel Planner for your booking needs. I will definitely be using Hotel Planner for all my future hotel bookings.

We were looking for a hotel in NY for the New York City Marathon and thought we would might have to pay a premium rate for the amenities we wanted (a kitchen or kitchenette to cook our own meals leading up to the marathon). We found The Bedford using Hotel Planner... for $100 less a night than the typical rate! We even checked the hotel's main webpage, and sure enough it would cost $100 more to book through them. The Hotel Planner website and user interface were also very convenient and easy to use - I would definitely recommend hotelplanner.com for anyone planning their next vacation!

By the time we finalized our travel plans to go to Chicago for Lollapalooza we decided to arrive a day earlier than what we booked our hotel, which was already booked solid and had no extra rooms. We logged on to HotelPlanner.com to look for a room that was close to our primary hotel that wasn't going to break the bank. We found a room at the Club Quarters Hotel in Downtown Chicago for a great rate and were very happy with our stay. I definitely recommend using HotelPlanner.com to help find great deals, and would also recommend the Club Quarters Hotel in Downtown Chicago for your next trip.

I was quite pleased when I had to cancel our reservation at the Best Western Dry Creek Inn, Healdsburg, CA on July 30, 2013. Carlos ** did the transaction with absolutely no problem and within four days the refund check was in our mail! I was very pleased dealing with Hotel Planner via Carlos **. I will use Hotel Planner again when needed.

We were told by phone before arriving at hotel (Quality Hotel & Suites Central Cincinnati, OH) that our request for rooms to be together was met. Upon arrival, some rooms were on 4th floor and the others were on 7th (We did get the manager to change this - but this should not have been an issue we had to address). All rooms had a horrible odor - like damp carpet smell and no air conditioners were turned on so rooms were about 99 degrees upon check in. 1st room for Bart ** - air conditioner did not work. 2nd room - shower head flew off during shower and flew across tub. Person had to hold it on to get the suds rinsed from their body and the shampoo rinsed from their hair. Multiple times several people had to walk up to the 7th floor or down from the 7th floor because neither of the two elevators were working.
Stacy had to call for one of us to help her remove all of her luggage from the elevator because it stopped on the 3rd floor. The door opened and she waited for 10 minutes for the door to close but it did not close. Anthony was riding one of the elevators when it stopped midway and he was stuck in the elevator. Thank goodness for cell phones so he could have someone tell the front desk he was stuck in the elevator. Several times our children fell because the area surrounding the elevator and the elevator floor itself was not carpeted and the floor stayed extremely wet from people coming in from swimming. Me (Vonda **) grandson 4 years old got a large bump on head, fell on wet floor in hall way in front of elevator. NO, HE wasn't in pool at all. Room 717 toilet wouldn't flush. We used trash can. Never again. Why ask to move to another room as some in our party did? They were trash also.
Room 703 - you had to move the chair from the desk and push it forward to enter and exit room because it did not fit under desk properly and did not leave enough room to get through. The pool had paint flaking off the sides and the bottom and the surrounding area was badly in need of some weed trimming. This hotel was labeled 2 and one half stars. Would hate to have seen the conditions at one you had labeled a 2-star. We had 6 rooms rented for two nights. We were very unhappy and so were others we spoke with in hotel on Saturday. I was told by another guest that police were called due to some guest wanting money back said not staying in this dump... The place is just too old and rundown for the $100.00 a night we paid. If we paid $45 to $60 maybe, but $100 we felt we would have nice rooms. NOT TRUE.

After spending an hour on the phone with a seemingly helpful representative trying to find a hotel in or close to Cooperstown, New York available for that same night I was only offered one option in town for $260 a night at a Holiday Inn Express. The others were 45 minute drives away at more affordable rates for our family budget of around $125. I booked the affordable room which still didn't put us in the direction we wanted to leave the city in and would have to drive at night after a long day of driving and touring the museums. My husband encouraged me to try local hotels/motels myself. The third motel I called had many rooms available and said they knew many motels in town still did as well. We ended up staying in a nice place, so close to our destination that I could have lobbed a baseball onto the roof of it (Hall Of Fame) from our motel with my wimpy arm. Maybe Hotel Planner doesn't get "day of" updates of hotel availability? If so they should state that. Maybe they are in partnership with Holiday Inn Express? :-/ They did send timely confirmation and cancellation emails. Awaiting actual refund.

First off, I do want to apologize that we were not able to provide and assist you with finding a hotel that met your needs, as we had limited options in the town you wanted, and it also being so close to your check-in date. I will be contacting you directly to discuss how we hope to make this right. We also have confirmed your reservation was canceled and fully refunded.

On Wednesday, 7/10 I found out I had to make a last minute business trip to Savannah, GA the following day, so I went on HotelPlanner.com to find a hotel in the historic district that fit my company's budget. I found a DoubleTree right on the river for around $100 a night and it was a great hotel right next to my favorite restaurants in the area. I would definitely recommend using HotelPlanner.com for any of your upcoming hotel bookings, and the DoubleTree in Savannah, GA if your travels take you there.

I have used HotelPlanner.com once before with great success, so I booked another hotel in Savannah, Georgia. I saved $65 per night on the hotel I chose. It was a very quick, easy process and everything was clearly disclosed. I will continue to use HotelPlanner.com for my future bookings.

I used www.Hotelplanner.com to book a hotel in Seattle which sells for $300/night. I was able to book my room for $166! I will direct my friends and family to this site for great hotel deals. I called and spoke to customer service to confirm the room type, and they were courteous and prompt to answer.

The price that was posted on the website was exactly what was charged to my credit card and my reservation was always at the hotel when I arrived. I arranged travel for the cast and production team for a US tour of the play Waiting For Godot. We used hotel planner to book all our hotel accommodations throughout the tour. I googled to find hotels in Whitehouse, TN as my husband was going on business. It took me to a site called HotelPlanner.com. I booked a room for 2 nights' stay that was scheduled for about one and a half week ahead. There was nothing on the site that indicated a cancellation policy. However, once you reserved the hotel and got the confirmation, it indicated that any and all cancellations were charged 100% with no refund. Then within less than 24 hours, my husband's meetings were cancelled and he had to cancel the trip. I cancelled online, which the confirmation said we could either call or cancel online. Then my husband called because this 100% was ridiculous.
The person we got, when he asked where they were located, said India. After much argument, we asked for a manager who then was connected after 20 minutes on hold. He said if we had called instead of cancelling online, they would not have charged us the 100%; but it was too late. After much argument, he agreed to call Holiday Inn Express and see if they would refund the money (My husband is a priority member and we have never been charged as long as we do not cancel within their stipulated time). Finally, after 15 minutes on hold, we were told our money would be credited back to our account and I asked for a confirmation number for that transaction.
I want everyone to be aware of this site, because I don't believe this is a legitimate fee that can be charged and it is not stated until after you make the reservation.

HotelPlanner.com is horrible. I just got home from the beach, thought I got a great deal. I was supposed to stay at the Hyatt Regency in Newport Beach. I had paid fully with my credit card and had a confirmation number from Hotel Planner. On the printout it said everything was handled; all I had to do was show up. When we arrived, we had our car valet to the parking structure and got our luggage out. I went into the hotel and to my surprise, they had no record of us and that they were fully booked. It was horrible. Now we were a hundred miles from home and nowhere to sleep. We ended up getting a hold of customer service if that's what you want to call it. They wouldn't help out at all.
They told us they could refund us the money, but it would take at least a week. We asked, "Can you please just put us in a comparable hotel room?" They said all they could do is put us in the Best Western in Costa Mesa. Thanks Hotel Planner, I wanted to take my family to stay at the beach in a 5-star hotel and you gave me a confirmation number - all I had to do was show up. My family had a very embarrassing time, first when we had to walk out of the Hyatt and ask valet to get the car because we had no reservations. Then instead of staying at the beach, Hotel Planner got us a room in Costa Mesa at the Best Western, not quite the beach front walks I thought I would be taking with my family at sunset - just the 55 freeway out in front of my room.
Don't use HotelPlanner.com ever unless you want this to be your vacation. They still haven't called me back!

We tried to make reservations on hotelplanner.com on 6/30/12, but the website told us it was unable to process the request. We tried a second time with the same result, so we called the Hotel direct to make reservations. Shortly after I received 5 confirmation emails, all for 5-night stays during the same time period. My wife called hotelplanner.com and was told we received the emails in error because they did not have any reservations for our family.
On 7/6/12, I received 5 more confirmation emails and discovered our credit card had been charged $1,343.45 on 7/2/12. We called hotelplanner.com on 7/9/12 to try to clear up the charges that were from an obvious glitch in their website. We have since been given a constant runaround from their customer service. They have refused to pass us on to managers for over an hour, refused to remove the charges, and fabricated stories of us calling the hotel specifically asking for all the rooms to be together. I need some kind of help, because it doesn't appear I will get any from this company. I, my wife, and our two young sons are trying to take a family vacation soon and need these fraudulent charges cleared up.

They booked a hotel in a completely different city than where we wanted. I confirmed it several times with agent. I gave credit card number and won't get credit on card for 3-5 business days. Maybe it's a scam.
