I have been on the phone for 6 hours trying to change a flight. Let's just say that I have occurred the worst customer service of my entire life. They have hung up on me 4 times. They have provided me with incorrect information. They have lied numerous times. I'm currently on hold for 29 minutes. Without any indication as to what the agent is doing. He is supposed to be checking for different flights but I don't actually know what they are doing. Please do not deal with this company. I unfortunately don't have a choice right now. But do yourself a favor and stay away. CheapOair has the worst customer service, they provide you with incorrect information. And they will waste your time and your money.

The representative that assisted me in booking my flight was extremely helpful. He spent about thirty minutes going over different flights, prices, times... etc in order to help me with exactly what I needed. I received a great price overall and my flight's time also gave me the most amount of time with my family, but also gets me home at a convenient time as well. I will definitely choose CheapOair for my next flight and I recommend you do the same! :)

I booked airfare for my husband and I for a friend's Birthday in Las Vegas. 1ST off, they did not have the cheapest flights. Found the flight on Frontier Airlines for the same price. Better time to depart and we booked the "almost" red eye at 9:59p on CheapOair!!! Then when checking in on Frontier there is a seat fee and a carry-on bag fee!!! Frontier airlines states it's because it doesn't include your baggage and seat check in early!!! REALLY!!! $30.00 for the bags each and $16-27.00 for the seats each person! RIP OFF!
I called CheapOair and several times I could not understand the Indian dialect and each representative keep apologizing but "REALLY", why do they speak so damn unclear, so fast and so un-understandable?!! Then I spoke to Frontier and they said if I book with them they do not charge for the baggage and seat!!! AGAIN, CHEAPOAIR IS NOT THE CHEAPEST!!!

This is the first time that I used CheapOair/OneTime and it did not start out well. The flight that I originally booked was canceled by the airline. I found out about the cancellation when I called American Airlines to add my Global Entry Card number to the reservation. Needless to say I was very upset and immediately called OneTime. As luck would have it, the phone was answered by your travel consultant Mr. Elitott **, who calmed my concerns and assured me of his company's outstanding customer service. He also assured me that the cancellation would be investigated and that meanwhile, he would assist to make it right.
Mr. ** did make it right! I was booked on the same flights, the same dates and received my booking and subsequent e-ticket shortly thereafter. Mr. ** made sure that I was informed every step of the way by phone and email. It was a pleasure to work with such a knowledgeable and customer-oriented travel consultant. Because of Mr. **'s outstanding service, I will use your company for all of my future bookings, and will also encourage my friends and family to do the same. Best regards.

My husband & I had the best experience with CheapOair. We travel out of country once every year. This is the first time we were given so many options to suit our flight time, number of stops & airport choice. This might not sound that great but all the other airlines we looked at had too many stops with very long waiting time & very bad hours of the day for us (AND were more money). In the past 20 some years of flying, no one has ever offered these options. The options allowed us to leave & return the times of day we wanted, having only 1 stop and leaving & returning at different airports that worked for us. On top of all that, we had some price choices & we picked the best one for us (all of which included discounts). We had other companies that were working with us & we canceled them because our agent did so much for us. We will surely use them in the future for any time we fly. The agent was so helpful, patient and knowledgeable.

I needed to cancel a flight, I questioned about refunding and other fees that may be possible with canceling. I couldn't understand his name, or much else of what he said. When I asked to cancel the flight, he repeatedly laughed and told me I didn't want to cancel it. Also, shortly after dealing with their website, my email and several other services I use online got hacked. Luckily I was able to regain control of everything, but that being the only thing I've done out of the ordinary, leads me to believe they have an unsecured website. I asked to speak to a supervisor twice, and was refused. I tried to call back to go through with canceling, after not being answered I went through their online chat where I was given totally different answers to my questions. All in all, I'm extremely disappointed with the service. I feel mocked, and I will never use nor recommend this company for the rest of my life. If I could rate 0 stars, I would.

So I needed to take a business trip from Boston 11/06/15 to Seattle, leaving Seattle the following day to Ketchikan, AK. I decided to switch my days after the booking to stay in Seattle for an extra day. I kind of figured I had to pay a price difference but that's not a problem. I called earlier, the lady on the phone was funny helpful and wonderful. She inform me if I decide to cancel my flight my cancellation fee would be $75 for all 3 tickets. I decided to keep it the way it was and search for cheaper flights on my own.
So I called CheapOair once more to see what was available. The person on the phone was fine at first, ask me to hold for a few minutes, that was fine. Informed me the price difference would be $507. I said, "Okay, I don’t think that’s going to work. I’m going to have to cancel." He says, "Cancellation fee is $175 because you have to be within the 24 hour period." Since I passed the 24 hr period by 20 minutes, it has now gone up whatever. No big deal. I sigh. And said “Okay, so what was the price difference again?” He answered with such frustration and sarcasm and replied, "I ALREADY TOLD YOU!!!" I said, "I’m aware of that but I didn’t make note of it so what was it again?" With such attitude he says, "507!!!" He told me ONCE not as if he was repeating himself the entire conversation. Then I would have totally understood I was being annoying but where is this all coming from having a regular conversation to an attitude.
So I said calmly, "I know you told me earlier but don’t you think the right answer would just have been '507?' instead of chewing my head off? I don’t appreciate the attitude maybe you should take a lesson in customer service or 2!" Then I gave him a sarcastic attitude. He quickly apologize sarcastically and repeatedly so he doesn't get in trouble. Why would you be in customer service if it was so difficult to relay a message you see on the stupid screen and what does arguing with a customer or giving her an attitude accomplish!!!

The only thing this company seems to capable of doing efficiently is (over)charging your account. Customer service is inept. A couple of people in the billing department were helpful, but ultimately they pass things over to customer service. My name was misspelled. They had to cancel the flight and reschedule. Ok, fine. I was told I was getting a refund. That initial flight went back on my account right away which I thought was my refund but turned out to be because they cancel the flight with the misspelled name (their error - non apologetic about this, btw) and rebook.
When they rebooked, I was charged TWICE. Yet for the two charges they suddenly cannot reimburse immediately, though they did this immediately for the previous flight. It makes no sense. I have lost two hours of work and wrangled with customer service, been told different things by different people, etc. Why, I ask, was my first flight refunded immediately but not my second? Why upon rebooking was I charged twice (once from CheapOair and once directly from airline - not including the BS fees)? No answers.

I think as big. As you price hunters do your job you have clout in the industry and us consumers rely on you for all our needs. Now that being said we know airlines are gouging us badly. They got an increase in pricing for fuel, they changed their attitude on luggage and charge for everything. Surprise? They haven't got us for toothbrushes yet. All travelers have bags and should be put on free. Airlines have just put new overhead bins in just to accommodate bags for god's sake. Educated consumers we are and we want to be treated as such. Now if all you people that work in industry of airlines, trains, buses would get together you could do something for little folks. We pay your wages, we need your help. Thank you for reading. Yesterday when I spoke with the Supervisor, she said I would be credited $502 for my ticket. She agreed that the agent should not have told me to call American Airlines to change an error that he made. I said I had to depart on 11/7/15 from Bangor, and I noticed while he was still working on all the bookings, that the departure date said 11/14/15. He had made errors and fixed them, but he told me to call American and they would not charge me anything to fix the error. Well, they charged me multiple fees, after they sent an e-mail saying I would not be charged a fee for a ticket change. There was no Ticket Change, just an error on the date. My phone call with your agent was not finished when I saw this error, he should have fixed it! We all agree on this. He did not, and American later sent me a ticket with multiple charges exceeding 950.
I called, they told me to write to Customer Care and it would be credited with no problem. No, they wrote back to me and said it was a "ticket change" and my ticket made with you for $502 no longer existed. The Supervisor did not e-mail me a credit of $502 and did not call me back as she promised. She was speaking with American and told me they would refund these charges, but they will not. If your agent finished his job with my ticket, I would have received a refund, as I did on my granddaughter's ticket. I could not make the flight because I became very ill suddenly. I am recovering from cancer surgery and this has made me very ill.
Further, on my son's flight home to Bangor, ME, he was given a defective wheelchair by the Airlines and it cut his leg and was bleeding into his shoes. They did nothing for him. They saw his leg and he has been cripple for 4 years, and just started walking again the last 3 months. He will deal with that on his own. I am very upset, and this would not have happened if your agent finished doing his job with my ticket instead of turning it over to American! I will have to dispute it with my credit card company and this disturbs me because I will need to book another flight in the near future. Thank you.

I booked a flight on CheapOair and then received the email confirmation with a hyperlink to select seats. I clicked seats for the first leg of my trip (3/4 flights) and then when I tried to go back to change a seat on my first flight, it wouldn't allow it since the request had been sent to the airline after just one check. How is this possible that you can't change your mind... Every other website allows you to confirm details before you "checkout" on your "cart" or "review your choices." What if you hit a button by accident? Then I noticed that there was a fee for $7.** for my seat selection. None of the seats I chose were special seats so I didn't understand why there was a charge. Usually an airline shows you how much the seats cost before you select them (i.e. extra leg room etc.).
So I called customer service because I didn't understand where this $7 charge was coming from, and the agent on the phone interrupted me, couldn't answer my questions, wasn't helpful and hung up on me. I called back and got a lovely agent who knew what he was talking about, answered my questions (Apparently there is a $14 fee to choose seats... Even if you don't hit the “confirm and accept terms and conditions” button which I think is probably illegal btw). He tried to upsell me on a protection plan (just doing his job). But in the end he 'spoke to his manager' and confirmed seats for the first leg of my trip at no cost. I was thankful for his great customer service skills compared to the other agent. Despite the fact that the 2nd agent was helpful - I think it is crazy that you have to pay to request seats and that fee isn't clearly stated in the hyperlink (it should say 'choose your seats for $14’).
Going forward I will continue to book my flights through Kayak or directly though the airline to avoid this nonsense so I can choose free seats without any hassle. It would be one thing if I was choosing seats that had extra leg room or something... But for normal seats, I disagree with the fee structure and threat that even though your flight is confirmed, you might not be able to fly because you didn't pay cash to reserve a seat.

Everything went very smoothly going while coming back I got a big shock when I was told by Saudi Airlines that I can't travel back because my layover was 19 hours in Jeddah and they only allow 12 hours transit visa. However, when I called CheapOair with my predicament, they were very helpful in getting me another ticket. My only suggestion to everyone is to make sure that you check with them for visa requirements when booking tickets. I was not told that I would need a visa before my ticket was booked. My refund for the return journey via Saudi is yet to be realized. Hope they can process it soon. Overall I would like to recommend them as being pretty reliable and helpful. I booked a ticket yesterday and was quoted $533. I noticed as I hit the button that it had picked up an incorrect return date but had already submitted for payment. Phoned and spoke to Richard who every helpfully said "don't worry we can sort this out, no extra charges only extra fees if the flight was more expensive." It was more $195 which I reluctantly paid only to find when I received the booking confirmation a $50 fee. Unhappy already, I'm still waiting for feedback on this one.
Then my boss's credit card is declined which was strange as more than sufficient funds so we load my card and what do they do? Charge the full ticket including the charges again of $695. So I have now not paid $890 -$195 more than the quoted invoice which I now query. First they deny they have put through 3 fees then they claim no the fees are correct. The $195 was their fee for changing the ticket. Total ripoff. Complaints and billing don't even acknowledge your query and call support says just wait. No degree of urgency.

Months ago I made a reservation to fly via TAP from Miami to Lisbon, to stay in Lisbon a week and then fly to Rome. Stay another week in Rome and fly back to Miami via Lisbon. The reservation through the web page went great. Then my husband asked me to please change the return date. I called CheapOair immediately and the nice lady said it'd be easier to just cancel the reservation and make a new one. Everything would be the same, except the return date. She sent an email with the new reservation. The email had a summary at the very top with all the flights, plus the departure and return dates. I was very pleased. 2 months ago, I checked the email to start making hotel reservations. To my dismay, I scrolled down to the bottom of the long email, to find that the lady made a mistake and was sending us straight to Rome by mistake, no stop in Lisbon for a week.
I called CheapOair and they said that b/c I didn't correct the mistake within 24 hours, I'd have to pay $1,500 for them to correct the flight. I had them correct the flights and the asked to speak to a supervisor. He heard me and said that they'd retrieve the phone call with the lady and listen to it. If my story was true, they would definitely not charge me the $1,500. He asked me to call a number the next day. I called every day for about 3 weeks, and they would just put me on hold until the call was disconnected. I ended up calling American Express and they are trying to get the recording from them.
So I called this morning just to check on the flights and confirm the seats for ONE of the four flights, as I was able to reserve the seats for all flights except that one. The lady told me I had to pay $14.95 to confirm seats, but she could waive that if I purchased additional travel protection (very insistent). I had already bought travel protection, but this was ADDITIONAL protection. I bought it for the "special price" of $39.99. She confirmed the seats and sent me another email. This time I read through the whole email. No seat confirmation appeared, and the return date was not showing for the flights! I told the lady and she got nervous, saying quickly that she'd put me through customer service, and immediately put me on hold. I waited for 10 minutes until the call got disconnected.
I called back and a gentleman told me that I needed to pay $14.95 for him to confirm that I had the seats. I of course told him that I had already bought "additional travel protection" and I was not willing to pay anything else. He said that "as a courtesy" he would confirm the seats. I was so mad at this point. He sent me a new confirmation email. The lady had changed the seats for one of the flights (for which I had seats already) and didn't confirm the seats for the flight where I didn't have confirmed seats. In the end, I have confirmed seats for all flights. I called TAP airlines just to make sure the information they had was the same I had; everything matched. American Express is still disputing the $1,500 dollars. And I don't want to use CheapOair again after this bad, bad experience.

On October 12, 2015 I utilized their online service to secure 1 Round Trip Ticket from KCI to Spokane, Washington. I selected my departure date of Nov.1, 2015 and my return date of Nov. 8, 2015. I was presented 4 options to select from and opted to use United Airlines due to the departure and arrival times. I entered in my credit card information and the confirmation came back with an itinerary that showed a departure of Friday October 30, 2015 and a departure from Spokane on Tuesday Nov. 10, 2015. These were not the dates I selected.
Unable to resolve this issue from their website, I called customer service and spoke with a foreign agent. He advised me that it was not a problem, he can modify the itinerary, however, it will cost an additional $31.00. I was fine with that and he proceeded to transact an authorized $31.00 payment for the additional customer service. If you ever have to pay for customer service, it is a company you don't want to do business with.
2 hours later, my bank alert on my phone went off and I seen that there were 4 charges from CheapOAir.Com ** for $325.20, ** for $25.00 (NA), ** for $325.20 (NA), and ** for $31.00 resulting in my total bill being $706.40, of which $325.20 was certainly not authorized and the $25.00 service fee was not clearly detailed that I could say it was authorized or not.
I called customer service a second time to discover that the original booking was cancelled and therefore those funds would be returned in 2 billing cycles. Each Billing Cycle is 21 days. This is unsatisfactory as the additional charge was not authorized. Had the agent explained that the booking would be cancelled not "Modified" and that the consequences of a cancellation were this, this and this, I would have opted to have kept the original booking and went on with my travels. Truly a "Buyer Beware" environment, they altered the dates without my consent. They did not inform me of what actions they were taking or the charges attached to those actions. Will never use them again.

I was not informed until I received my phone bill that I had been charged for several calls to this number and when I enquired at CheapOair (via chat) they said it was only toll free in USA and Canada. This is very misleading.
When I sent a "billing request" to their email address via their website, I received a reply 5 days later that the request had "been processed and was now closed". No explanation of what "processed" meant or what the outcome was. I sent a copy of my credit card debit and the booking invoice so it was quite clear that they had made a mistake by charging me in USD not AUD as the difference is exactly what the current exchange rate was on the date it was debited to my credit card. I have since sent several more emails both to cheapoair.com and billing@cheapoair.com and have yet to receive a reply. When I bought a ticket from London and back together via your website, CheapOAir only accepted my bank card for the return flight and left my outbound flight unconfirmed without informing me why. I then called CheapOAir, who informed me that while my outbound flight appeared to be unconfirmed, the confirmation number was simply the same number as my returning flights number, a fact that I later discovered was false. He did not inform me that the flight was indeed unconfirmed and that I did not have a booking. He also did not inform me why that flight was unconfirmed.
When I arrived at the airport in London, I was unable to fly and had to pay 179 pounds on the spot to book a ticket for the next flight. Not only did CheapOAir refuse to accept responsibility for a problem that they themselves had caused, a man named Tim from CheapOAir informed me that they had no documentation of my previous call to CheapOAir. This was clearly false and a sign that CheapOAir is corrupt and simply destroyed the record of my call to clear any responsibility on their part. I am warning all customers to never use CheapOAir unless they want to have a terrible flying experience. The inconvenience CheapOAir caused me was so large that this is simply my duty to all future customers. RyanAir service desk workers informed me that this is NOT a unique case with CheapOAir. In fact, they had seen multiple cases of unconfirmed tickets with CheapOAir not sufficiently informing their customers of the situation.

I'm writing this review based on my negative experience with this company. Upon my research, this company is owned by Royal Scenic Holiday. I booked a flight for my sister and I from Toronto, Canada to Perth, Australia in February 2015 for a trip in December 2015. My sister had to cancel in August and therefore I made a call to CheapOair to process a refund (I paid $1796.73 for her ticket). Based on the changes, the company charged me $200 to cancel her flight as "I had made changes to my booking". Given the difference in time (5 months), Etihad Air (the given airline) is able to sell the seat. The refund I am told that was given was $1203.76 as sent in an email. A few days after that conversation, I was promised in an email 1100.
Not only is this company blatantly ripping off consumers, their process for customer service is so frustrating that one would want to give up. In total, this company has taken $696 in order to cancel a flight they very well could have sold to another customer. I'm disappointed and devastated that corporations as this can illogically take funds based on some legal small print. If you can avoid this company, please do, or consider cancellation insurance. This company has a million and one reasons to keep your money once they have it.

First off they are cheap because they are right out of India and you can barely understand a word they say. I paid for all the insurances and had to cancel my flight... They told me I have a credit of the amount spent on the tickets. I just called to book a flight and they charge you a 200 dollar penalty... What the F is that all about??? Why even offer the ticket price back when you're going to charge a ridiculous fee. I had a death in the family and offered to prove it and they said it didn't matter.. This company is run by a bunch of crooks! My sister just recently had a much worse experience than I. If you have to change anything with your flight they rake you over the coals. The guy quotes me a price that's 200 dollars more than the price I am looking at on my screen and they have the nerve to tell you that you're wrong. I will never use them again Bad business!!

However, the last time when I tried to book my flight through their website, the moment I was ready to pay my ticket all the cheap flights got sold out and I immediately received a call from their representative from the Department of Global Flight Fair trying to sell me a ticket in different currency and definitely more expensive. I was ready to buy the ticket when they put me on hold and told me in a while that the ticket is no longer available. Immediately after I finished the conversation, I received a second call from another representative trying again to sell me the same ticket. Those people over the phone were definitely playing with me and I got unsecured with the service of CheapOair. That was really bad experience with CheapOair that I have experienced and for sure I will no longer use their service.

I thought the website was very good and it found me a good price on my flight. The only problem I had was that there were two buttons to click on when I booked my flight. One was on the top of the flight details and the other was on the bottom. The one on the bottom was for another flight plan. I clicked on the wrong one and booked the wrong flight. I got it changed, but had to pay more for the new flight even though the details were identical. It is a little confusing when you are choosing the button to click on. I know I am not the only person this had happened to since my sister had the same thing happen to her. It would make it easier if there were more space between the bookings or a different color, or a dark line between them to differentiate between the two bookings. I had no problems with changing my reservations, and the rep was very nice and understanding, but he could not give me the same price I had before.

THEY STOLE $200 FROM MY ACCOUNT!! I needed the ticket change. They charged me $200 (two hundred dollars) in addition to all other charges, LYING to me that this amount is collected by the Delta Airlines/Air France and that I must pay regardless the date. They used coercive methods - calling me on my personal phone asking for the money before the ticket expires. I didn't know I could call the airline directly. So I agreed, although very hesitantly to pay cause I thought I had no other choice.
When I called the Airline they said THEY NEVER RECEIVED that amount. When I changed the ticket the next time they kept asking me again for the same amount as the "price difference collected by Air France". This time I called the airline directly and there was NO price difference for the date requested (only the regular ticket change fee). WARNING!! Don't deal with CheapOair/OneTravel. They will lie to you and EXTORT money from you whenever possible!!

In the early part of 2015 I submitted a review of the customer service I experienced while dealing with CheapOair. It was a terrible experience and I wrote it in the hopes of helping others avoid the aggravation and misery of dealing with this company. Briefly, I was in a disabled condition, using a cane/crutch, and in order to fly on an aircraft I needed an aisle seat. I was assured an aisle seat on each of the 4 connecting flights before paying. In advance of the flights I learned that aisle seats were not going to be made available to me. I immediately tried to cancel the arrangement and ran into every obstacle that could be thrown in my way. CheapOair can be very creative in frustrating you and keeping your money. My phone calls were put on truly indefinite hold, or transferred to different departments continuously... none of which could or would help me get the flights cancelled and refunded.
Finding "Consumer Affairs" was a lucky break for me, and after months of struggle before finding them I finally got the refund. Without the help of Consumer Affairs I would have eventually burned out in my efforts and not received any refund at all. Only recently did I see a reply CheapOair submitted to my complaint. They replied in such a way as to make it seem they were attentive and concerned about the problem, and that they were making every effort to make sure I would be a satisfied customer. Nothing but damage control on their part, after months of frustration on my part, and it just reignited my anger. I suppose, in the end, if they do this to all who are owed a refund, a certain percentage will give up and accept their loss. After the fact damage control to the few that they actually have to answer to, and money in their pocket for those that gave up.
I believe in "Consumer Affairs" and what they can accomplish by exposing these awful practices. I have also purchased an inexpensive voice recorder. Just as it has become common practice for so many companies to record my calls, I now record them as well to keep thing honest and on the level. An honest company should not mind being told they are being recorded after their short speech about them recording you for "training purposes". It is unfortunate things have come to this in America, but I find it very fortunate we have organisations like "Consumer Affairs" to help us get past these rough spots and give us the chance to stand up to companies like CheapOair. After so much frustration with Consumer Affairs, I only hope I have helped others avoid the same. Bravo Consumer Affairs. You do good work.

You know when airlines change their flight schedule? Happens all the time, right. Typically you get an email saying the flight has changed by a few minutes, you click 'accept' or 'confirm' or something and you're good to go. Not so with CheapOair. I have an international flight, which the airline changed by 30 minutes. I accepted the airline's new itinerary almost immediately. It's been 9 days now and still no confirmation. I have a booking, but no confirmed seat on the plane.
The airline won't deal with me because I booked through a 3rd party website, so I'm forced to deal with CheapOair. I've made at least 6 phone calls, about 8 emails, used their live webchat feature several times, all to no avail. Several calls inexplicably disconnected. Two assistants on the phone flat out lied and said they'd processed the new flights when in fact they'd done nothing. 3 promised call-backs have never arrived. When I do get hold of someone, they assure me it's been forwarded to a mystery department which I can't talk to directly, to be dealt with "soon".
Until this happens, I can't select seats or make meal requests with the airline, and I run the risk of the flight actually booking out. Just to reiterate, this is not an itinerary change I have made. I've not made any modifications or cancellations of my own. I simply wish to re-confirm my ticket after the airline changed the time of the flight by a few minutes. An extremely common process which is typically instantaneous. CheapOair might work if you're lucky enough to have nothing at all about your booking change. But if anything, and I mean *anything* changes, even just a simple shift of the departure time by the airline, you've got no hope.

Called within the hour and made the changes to the tune of another 150.00. That or just forfeit the 230.00 already charged to my card. 2 days later the car dealer sends email saying the car won't be ready for pick up for another 10 days after my reservations. Called again, made changes and was charged another 50.00. So my 200.00 flight has turned into a 420.00 flight. To top it off the flight I ended up on was nearly totally booked. The problem is that I didn't know the birthday of a friend that was traveling with my husband and myself. He said to call the next morning after I talked to her. I did & it was too late as the airline would not change it. So my agent, Deenholm, had to cancel that flight & I spent another 1 1/2 hours rebooking. I was working out of town & found out when I got back home to check my e-mail that for some reason that entire flight #30223643 has been cancelled. So that night I again was on the phone to rebook. Every time I did this the price went up. Although the agents were always very good at finding me the best possible price.
When I checked the e-mail confirmation that night, I realized that he had the birth dates mixed up & my husband listed as a female so I had to call back & fix that. The next evening my friend had informed me that she was unable to travel, so again I was on the phone most of the evening cancelling her part of the flights. Hopefully all is correct now & my flights will go as planned. If not you will be the first to know.
