    Following booking with CheapOair, our booking was cancelled without any notification to us. We received a booking confirmation from you clearly detailing the date and the amount charged to my card. Upon arrival at the airport, we were told by the check-in staff that our tickets had been cancelled and that there was nothing they could do, as the tickets were cancelled by CheapoAir. No cancellation email, phone call or any other form of communication was sent by CheapoAir to inform us that you had cancelled our tickets. When speaking to customer services, we were told that the credit card payment had failed due to credit card decline.

    I called my bank, they confirmed to me that no attempt was made by CheapoAir, or anyone else to take a payment of $** on Thu, Dec 17, 2015. Despite this, your confirmation email states: Charged on Thu, Dec 17, 2015. We were forced to spend Christmas Eve in Bangkok Airport, miss my fiance's reunion Christmas dinner, and book an extremely expensive alternative ticket due to your unexpected and unnotified booking cancellation. Our Christmas has been ruined, and my fiance is constantly in tears due to missing her final chance to reunite with her one of her older relatives and introduce me to him. After trying to converse with your customer service staff via email, I simply got promises of a detailed explanation, until the advisor simply starting ignoring my emails.

    My questions to your company are as follows: 1) Why have your advisers stated that you tried to take the payment, but when confirming with my bank they state that no payment has been attempted? My bank always notifies me of any blocked payment due to security, and I have confirmed that there was enough money in the account for the payment to clear. 2) Why would you issue a booking confirmation, stating "Charged on Thu, Dec 17, 2015" when no payment has been made and the booking has been cancelled? 3) Why was no cancellation email, or any other kind of communication, sent to us to inform us that our flights had been cancelled? 4) What will CheapoAir be doing to rectify this huge problem? Our Christmas has been ruined and we are hundreds of dollars out of pocket due to your (in) actions. 5) Why did your customer service staff simply ignore a huge failing in your services?

    I bought a first flight air ticket. I found out it didn't include luggage nor meals. One has to laugh! After spending an hour speaking with a Cheap 'n' nasty operator and hearing things like, "the cancellation fee for this booking is... [snip]". They pretend they are doing you a favour by refunding MIS-SOLD tickets. Manager then confirmed refund will take up to 2 weeks. Then I get an email confirming my flights? Please rename your company Cheapy McNasty air. What an unprofessional bunch of jokers they are. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

    We departed Thursday April 7th which was the beginning of one of the worst travel experiences we have ever had. The Flight out of HTFD was delayed as the plane was not there for well over a hour. We never received any info that this was the case. When we did get on board the flight was very rough. We then arrived in Newark and had to sit separate as there weren't two seats together.

    On the return flight Sunday April 10th our departure was scheduled for 7:50 AM. We returned our rental car to Washington National and proceeded to the ticket counter for assignments. We were told we were at the wrong Airport! They said that we were scheduled to fly out of Dulles. We had to take a cab costing us 80.00 dollars. Then of course missed the flight and were rescheduled for the 12:30 PM flight. We then missed the subsequent flight by one person as it was overbooked.

    I did try to call CheapOair for help. The person that I talked to was arrogant, had a heavy dialect and provided no solutions. United put us on the 5:30 Flight which was almost 12 hours after our original scheduled departure. This was very stressful and cost us a lot of additional money as well as inconvenience! I am requesting a full refund. I've never even heard of Dulles let alone booked a flight out of it. I will also be contacting American Express to seek their assistance and file a complaint for reimbursement if this matter is not resolved...

    I did call to make my reservations agent Zelda, Reservations were successful but I was a little agitated that the agents English was terrible and she had to keep repeating herself to me as I also had to repeat what I was saying to her. The communication back and forth was rotten. She misspelled one of the travelers' last name and I had to call back to get it corrected which was a process in itself. Everyone I talked to kept giving me the wrong phone number for help in doing so the process took me 4 phone calls and a lot of waiting to get to customer service.

    I buy lot of air tickets but CheapOair is worse ticket provider ever. They are not professional and they don't know what they are doing. I booked mine and my son ticket 6 months before I fly. After 3 months they did some changes in ticket and sent me email to call them. I called them and they confirmed mine and my son ticket.

    I called them 2 weeks before I fly and I found they confirmed mine ticket but didn't confirmed my son ticket. I was calling them every day to make sure they confirm my son ticket as well. Every time they confirm, my son ticket is ok and can fly but when I call Jet Airways they say my son ticket is not confirmed. I was calling every day to CheapOair to sort this out but CheapOair seems not bother. After spending 40 hours on phone with CheapOair finally they confirmed both tickets (8 hours before I fly).

    I wanted to change my return date and CheapOair want $1000 (original ticket cost $1200) to change the return date. I checked with other travel agent, he said they will charge me $150 to change the return date but CheapOair locked this ticket. So they can't change return date. DON'T ever buy ticket from CheapOair.

    CheapOair call center is in INDIA, once you purchase your ticket from CheapOair and you want to change your ticket they will charge you more than other agents. They also lock your air ticket so no one else able to change this ticket.

    Travel insurance (presentation on site) is 'misleading'. If you get the plan it still does not guarantee a refund unlike other travel sites. The PROCESS to cancellation and phone service is below poor (minus one). Seriously, they give you another number where you have to call travel insurance company to see if you QUALIFY for their reimbursement even though you purchased it. Then you have to call back CheapOair.com to request cancellation confirmation # but you to wait on a unique OTP passcode they must email you. Then you to pay additional cancellation fee and make sure that is included in cancellation email.

    Oh was it mentioned they also charge you hidden booking fees that an run over $50 and other costs, which basically does not make your flight cheap! Seriously. Suggestion: Running back to Travelocity.com - at least they have self-service cancellation online within 24 hours even without travel protection plan and no hidden fees and rabbit trails. Not again.

    Come on guys. Customers shouldn't have to pay extra $27.90 just to select our normal seats. No special requests of any sorts. Just selecting open, available, no cost seats. It shouldn't cost us that fee on top of our fares. Airlines don't charge their customers that. I don't think you guys should either. Other areas, you guys are good. Keep it up.

    My friends and I book a flight with CheapOair only to realize that they charged us $150 per person since the actual flight cost through the airline was $1,057. Not only they charged us an extra fee when I call to find out why I had a random $300 charge on my credit card they told me it's because they couldn't do the payment in one transaction but failed to mentioned that the $300 a fee to CheapOair and the actual cost of the ticket was later charge on my credit card by the airline company. I called them but still waiting to get a call back from the manager to discuss the situation.

    Improper billing / overcharge: We were promised that CheapOair would honor original (authorized and emailed) charge; we were given changed automated (flex dates) itinerary change without requesting this date change, losing 2 days. Agent called us, and we booked alternate date under duress. We called back next day to correct date change. Although the promise was that CheapOair would honor the original price and a similar itinerary, or we would cancel, nonetheless, we were given a new itinerary, and then charged a service fee / penalty of $40.

    We paid for seat selection (window), and were promised next day response which never came. The process was very convoluted, with 3 calls to CheapOair. We were told that we would have to call the airlines directly. We do not pay the extra surcharge to CheapOair to do the work ourselves! We expect window seat selection (preferably bulk head or emergency).

    Bookings / existing itinerary office could not issue us the correct merchant-driven receipt (with the correct amount charged) due to a "technical computer-driven glitch." This is the law, for tax purposes. We were told that we should use the credit card record, but this is not accrual accounting, and is not accepted by Revenue Canada. The merchant is legally obligated to issue a correct/accurate receipt. Thank you.

    We booked a flight/hotel/car package to Charlotte, NC on 12/31/2015 and reconfirmed on 3/24/2016. The booking was fine--although no different from what two others booking services offered. When we arrived in Charlotte on 4/1/2016 the hotel and car had been cancelled and we had to pay to re-rent both. When we called CheapOair we were put on hold for 20 minutes, transferred, put on hold for 25 minutes more, then the call was disconnected. I called again, waited 25 minutes, before finally giving up. I called yet again the next morning (trying two different phone numbers listed on the website) and was transferred again.

    I've traveled millions of miles over 40 years across six continents and stayed in hotels ranging from 5-star-plus to grass huts. I've used several different booking services and have never had a similar experience. Not just one thing went wrong, but at least three (hotel, car, phone to CheapOair to correct the problem). I've yet to receive an explanation or correction and we're still out the extra costs for the hotel and car. You tell me why I should ever again use CheapOair.

    I had booked my flight last minute on Tuesday evening regarding a funeral overseas. I was notified early Thursday morning that I had to contact the agency to verify my payment, this was a little concerning as I had already assumed it went through (as it always has whenever I book my flights, which I do frequently). I called and was put on hold for an hour and then hung up on. I called back again and was on hold for half an hour, someone answered and I told them how urgent my situation was and they put me back on hold without even telling me, then I was on hold for an additional 30 minutes, and the phone disconnected again. In total I wasted 2 hours on hold and it was now around 2:30 pm and my flight was departing at 5:25pm.

    I called back panicking, reasonably so, and the customer service rep called the other department directly. I was on hold for about 15 minutes and someone answered finally, and I was now being told that the payment had never been received! Had I known this I would have booked another flight on Wednesday or Thursday morning and unfortunately now it was too late as we had to leave Winnipeg by 5:25 pm Thursday night to make the other connecting flight to get overseas in time for the funeral. I was transferred to that department again and the person assured that they would answer, and miraculously they did. My payment was confirmed around 3:30pm, 2 hours before departure!

    We were now told at the time that we had to pay a late booking fee of $600, which was absolutely unfair but we literally had no time to dispute this at the moment. I received the e-tickets close to 4pm and they rushed out the door to the airport and barely made the flight in time. I can't begin to explain the amount of stress/anxiety this agency has caused us ON TOP of the passing of our family member. This was an unnecessary hassle, and the treatment was poor, no one took an urgency to myself mentioning that the flight was leaving in a few hours and we had no tickets, I was simply told I had to wait on hold, as any other person who was calling regarding flights in the coming weeks??

    Due to this service received, it got to the point where it became an last minute booking and we are somehow responsible for this fee after all of this? Now, checking my AMEX I was also told this fee was $600 but I was charged more than that. How can you treat a customer like this? This has been an awful experience and I would simply like to reach management that can resolve this issue responsibly, but that in itself is hard as no one has that contact info at this agency. We ended up paying more than we would have had. We booked through an airline directly and would have saved all this additional stress and grief caused by CheapOair.

    Dwayne, prices change constantly as the inventory get's sold out. Not only us, but all other travel sites, including the airline are all pulling from the same inventory, so once the seats are sold out at a particular fare, the price increases to the next available fare.     After a miserable break-up with my ex and a dream vacation to the Bahamas, shattered, I reached out to "Cheapo" in order to try and make something positive out of the worst time in my life... When I called Cheap ** today in order to try and use my so called "credit" in order to see my grandfather (who is currently dying of congestive heart failure)... He will be 85 in June but we doubt that he will make it until his birthday on June 2nd... They told me that I misheard what their employee told me. I understood him to mean that I must BOOK my airfare by a certain date when in fact, I was required to book AND complete travel by the date provided. I requested to go up and up the totem pole in order to find ANY silver lining... alas, they offered NOTHING. I will NEVER EVER book through a cheap a$$ company.     I booked an itinerary with CheapOair 6 months in advance for a trip to Portugal. I selected the flights based on actual travel time of 15.5 hrs NOT ON COST. I was willing to pay more to get the convenience. One month later CheapOair advised me of a schedule change which now involved a 14 1/2 hour layover, making the trip almost 30 hours. I refused this change and they offered me another one, now making the journey 27 hours, leaving a day earlier and going via the Azores. I am not accepting this itinerary either. It is not what I was offered and paid for. CheapOair is unwilling to refund money or offer a suitable change. The customer service has been horrible.

    I received an email that I was double charged upon booking my ticket. I called my credit card company and I was more than double billed. I was charged a total of $2865.10 for a $1100 ticket. Sat on hold for 55 minutes before being disconnected. Wish I had read reviews previous to booking with them. This is a reoccurring issue. I will be working with my credit card company to fix this as there is no such thing as customer service at CheapOair.

    I had an hour long call with one representative to make the flight arrangements. He was extremely helpful and courteous. However, in return for a $30 fee, he supposedly secured seat assignments for me for each of 2 domestic and 2 international flight segments. The booking confirmation, however, showed only one domestic flight segment seat assignment. I was supposed to receive a follow-up call from a different department, which never came.

    Later in the day I had a chat session with a representative who advises that CheapOair could not make the seat assignments, and I'd have to contact the airlines directly. I subsequently contacted both relevant airlines, and after a call and online work was able to secure seat assignments. I was able to confirm that there were no assignments ever made, except for the one domestic segment. I then had another chat session with CheapOair to explain the situation. The representative graciously, and appropriately, made arrangements for me to be refunded the $30 seat assignment fee since I'd have to secure the assignments myself. I assume the refund will post to my credit card in a few weeks as notified. Bottom line: Eventually I should get my fee back, but it required 2 chat sessions, and about 45 minutes to an hour (counting wait time) to get to that point.

    I booked a flight to Beijing for Mar 28,2016 thru CheapOair online for 485 dollars. But when I check in at the counter, I figured out my passport was left at home. It won't be time enough to go back and return to the airport. So I called CheapOair to help me to change my booking. They charged me 435 dollars for changing it to April 1. Later on I found out that the Airline only charged me 235 dollars and the another 200 dollars was charged by Cheapoair. I think this is so ridiculous and dishonest. To pay 200 dollars for an Booking Agent just to change the date. I will never use CheapOair again and warn other consumers to be careful with them.

    After traveling from Okinawa to Korea, with a late flight, baggage needing to be retrieved at customs instead of being routed to the USA which was the final destination, Korean Airlines counters closing 1 hour before the flight so nobody could check in, then even the back office would not assist in assisting and needless to say the flight was missed. After 4 hours of calls from the US to CheapOair and Korean Airlines, a rescheduled flight for 24 hours later was scheduled.     I booked my flight from New Orleans to Evansville, IN. After receiving my email confirmation I noticed it had changed the airport to Baton Rouge, which is a couple of hours from us (below it said something about being switched to a closer airport but still had me flying back into New Orleans?     I would suggest to any friend, family member or future consumer to NOT use this website to book any travel plans. I booked an airline for travel. Called to inquire about a possible travel date change & price. While speaking with the agent before I officially confirmed ANY change I was disconnected. The agent changed the flight without a confirmation and charged my credit card. Customer service was poor. I asked to speak with a supervisor and I was placed on hold for 45 minutes only to be told they would listen to the recording & have someone call me within 24 hours. A representative never called. I had to pay an additional amount to correct the unauthorized change back to the original travel dates. I am a professional in a customer service industry and would never consider arguing with a customer or not following up with.

    I paid for a return flight for my girlfriend from Ukraine to Thailand. She cannot return on the date on the ticket for work reasons, so I tried to change her return for 7 days earlier. When I called it was going to cost me $80.00 US to change, so I contacted her and asked her if this was ok. She said yes, so 2 days later I rang to change the return flight. I was now told it would be a cost of $113.00 US to change, and an additional $400.00 US for the difference in the ticket??? How does this change in 2 days???

    If people are thinking about booking through Cheapoair they need to read your fare rules properly. I will never book again with you as you do not want to help. If you have already paid them, instead you just want more. I then tried to cancel the flight but if I did I lose all money paid. YOU DO NOT GET ANY REFUND, so tough luck, pay the change or lose your money. That's how Cheapoair treat you. So I will not cancel my ticket because I don't want to lose the money I have paid.

    So I will never book again through you, "EVER". I recommend anyone doing so to read your fare rules first because if you want to change any of the flight information you will just receive a "tough luck" response instead of someone talking nice to you and helping (good customer care). You feel like they Just don't care once you have paid for your ticket. Thanks Cheapoair for your lack of compassion in my case. I am so disappointed and very angry with your company, and this will be the last I book through you.

    We had to cancel our trip due to my husband's health, being that he was hospitalized prior to our trip date but recuperating and still under the care of his physician. Trip Mate (the travel insurance CheapOair uses) has denied our claims due to the fact that "he has a pre-existing condition". Be careful people!!! If you have a condition that flares up or worsens prior to your travel, that is all they need to deny your claim. CheapOair doesn't care what they are recommending for travel insurers. They just want to make the sale! There's a reason they are cheap. They're probably getting a kick back from Trip Mate!!! CheapOair charged 25.00 per ticket to cancel the flights stating that that was recoverable from Trip Mate. It is not. They will do or say anything to make the sale. I will never use them again. Use an independent travel insurance company that says they will pay for "any reason for cancellation".

    Yesterday, I had to change a ticket I had with CheapOair because of family matters in the US. I was helped. I felt very well by the agent yesterday morning (3/21) and responded to indoor survey yesterday. Then I looked into the itinerary and found that the time between flights, which required an airport change was woefully inadequate. I called back in 5 hours and changed the itinerary to give me time to get from VCP to GRU, necessitating a long layover for another $100. Same airline, just earlier flight on same day. Why they can't just send you to one airport, as has been the case in all my travels is beyond me. Then this morning I saw that CheapOair charged me twice for the change ($1097) which locked my bank access.

    I called and was told to call later, which I did and the billing agent said that it was a mere formality and that tomorrow I would get the money back. In the meantime, I cannot use my money to make further arrangements for the changed trips. This is uncalled for, unnecessary, and did not happen when I made my first CheapOair ticket to Cuenca, Ecuador. This no mere formality and I feel that CheapOair owes me some money for this disaster, an over 24-hour flight and needs to become acquainted to the reality of the flights they are suggesting. The fact I have to wait for both a refund from my first changed ticket and now the second one does not install confidence.

    If this is not resolved immediately, I will definitely let my friends and families about how you do business. I wish I did not have to write this but hope it really does help your company to change the way it does business. Do right by your customers, give them accurate information, do not offer contorted flights and do not charge twice for some bizarre billing reasons. It is all a nightmare for future customers.

    Literally the worst experience with their incompetent customer support which seems to be based in India as every person I spoke to was Indian and I could not understand a word they were saying. I booked a vacation for my family and myself and they stuck me on Spirit Airlines, which apparently do charge you 40$ for a carry-on bag (none are included in the price) and I was not told this before buying the package or I would have taken a different flight. I spoke to someone who had no idea what they were doing and asked for a supervisor. I was transferred to billing (not what I wanted) and from there after being on hold sent over to (I think) the original person I spoke to who was just as incompetent as before. I asked for a supervisor again and have been on hold for over an hour straight before they decided to hang up on me (and although they took a callback number, they never called me back).

    DO NOT use this website as it has THE WORST customer (lack of) support I have ever experienced. I never write reviews online but this company has been so terrible in my need to sort my issue out that I hope even one person will read this and go somewhere else. Honestly I usually read reviews and when there are glowingly bad reviews such as this I dismiss them, but every once in awhile they are absolutely accurate. If you do chose to use this company, make sure you are not using Spirit Airlines since checking a bag or a carry-on is about $40 if you pay online for it and if you didn't know about this price and went to the airport and tried going on the plane with a carry-on, you would be charged $100. This is not an exaggeration, it lists it on Spirit Airlines' website. This is the worst company I have ever had an interaction with and I cannot convey how truly awful they are.

    I have purchased 3 to tickets from CheapOair from Chicago to Hyderabad (India) round trip from CheapOair by providing complete details with Name and age. But while returning from Hyderabad to Chicago the airlines (Air India) rejected one of the Infant ticket due to she has crossed 2 years and when we asked for to convert to kid ticket they rejected and cancelled all 3 tickets and asked us to contact your agent and then when I contacted the CheapOair they said "we will send a request to airlines and will take and process your refund". But as of now I have not got any update and when I make a call they still telling me the same story. It's been 6 months and it's lot of money too. I have the documents too.

    I cannot say enough about how much I loath this company. When I booked with them recently, an international, three leg multi city flight, their site would not allow me to uncheck the selected pay extra seats when I ordered the protection plan from them. I never wanted the seats. When I looked at them, it never would allow me the option to uncheck them, so it thus decided for me to spend my money, and then on top of that, I never got those upgraded seats!

    Not ok! And when I got online to chat with their rep I was told it was the airline. **! It's on my bank statement that it was CheapOair! (The other charges for the airline separate.) They lied and denied and never refunded my money. When I called the airline LONG DISTANCE, of course, they could not even SEE the charges! Of course not. That CheapOair rep also disconnected my chat when I expressed displeasure. TERRIBLE company. Go with someone else. You'll be less stressed with more money in your pocket!

    First, they added over 18 hours to a layover. Then, I tried to contact them through each of their emails. The links never worked, nor could I actually fill out or click on the "button" that requested they contact me. I tried to work this out five different times: twice through online chats, and three times through phone calls. Two of the ladies that helped me were very polite. The final gentleman, "Rudolph," was short with me from the beginning. This actually prompted my critique - which I'm posting wherever I can. I can understand slight changes, but rudeness when it's being presented makes the whole thing worse. After this, I'll pay extra to avoid CheapOair. They ended up supposedly giving me a full refund - which will take two to three billing cycles according to them.

    Ordered tickets from New Orleans to Phx. When I looked at my confirmation it had me leaving out of Biloxi, MS. I specifically selected New Orleans. The rep lied and said I selected Mississippi.     Even though the message they claimed to have sent me in their response, was never sent to me. (I only got a 2 line notice of a problem with no booking numbers 2 weeks after they stated I’d double booked the room, etc…) Which is what started all the calls as stated in my posting in the first place. And I’m confused how “I” could of booked the room, when clearly their agent had to check my itinerary (see it wasn’t shown as booked yet) and book it for me. I don’t work there. They didn’t tell me they were even working on my case, till the last call I made to them after I was able to talk to the manager. CheapOair screwed up so bad they never even confirmed for me in email or in my online Trips area with them this booking number. So for me it never existed. I complained over and over and after 6 weeks I did get a confirmation email for this night as being booked. They clearly screwed this up. I was finally able to talk to a supervisor after numerous attempts and he says he is looking into it but 99% of the time they never call me back.

    I had 3 round trip tickets from the US to Edinburgh, UK via Air France with a long layover at Charles de Gaulle on Dec.18. I had decided to cancel and rebook flights that avoided France because of the situation in Paris. I paid the required $300 cancellation fee.     I spoke with a CheapOair rep. 2/25/2016 to discuss booking 3 flights to Scotland in July or August using my Air France credit. I was shocked to find out that not only did I need to pay the difference between the original ticket purchase price of the non-refundable tickets, I also would have to pay $300 per ticket as a Air France airline penalty. (Missed that information on my cancellation email from CheapOair) So based on the current Air France Pittsburgh to Edinburgh flights, that are bouncing between $1700 and $2000 per person) it will cost me about $2200 per ticket for economy class seats.

    I had flight insurance but the terrorist situation voided my insurance. In fairness to the CSR with CheapOair, she was very nice. However, unless Air France drops their prices back to about the $1000 I originally paid, I will have to forfeit my $2777.13. I have used CheapOair as a booking agent on several occasions without any complications. However, I will not fly Air France again. Any future air travel will be through different airlines and possibly different agents.

    They get two stars because both times I called they answered quickly, and I didn't have a problem last time I used them a few years ago. However that's not the experience I got this time. I saw a review similar to mine from February, where basically the site reflects one price and I went to buy the ticket and everything went smoothly until it processed my card. It went back to the search page and the tickets were sold out and I was given no confirmation of my ticket being purchased. No email, and no notice that it didn't go through.

    So I called and the first representative told me that all the passengers have been calling with the same complaint because the site has not been updated in real-time to reflect the new more expensive prices. Then I was told I could get the ticket for $100 more (370). When I complained about this I was told the tickets should actually be $100 more than that but he was giving me a discount. I declined the offer, hung up and read some reviews, and called back. The next representative told me a similar story and said they could only offer what their system gave them and found a cheaper flight (330) but with two different stops. Still more expensive than the original price. Feels like a bait and switch.

    I booked a ticket online outside of USA and had some problems with payments. I sent a request and within a minute a person called me and accepted the payment of almost 1000$ for a triple connection flight. I clearly stated to him (as I had checked on the webpage while booking) that I needed travel insurance in case of delays or other problems, particularly important when traveling such a long distance. He assured me I had the insurance.

    The day after I change the booking by day, worried about one of the layover was too short. Same problems, with payments of small amount due to the changes and I was told to call the company myself. It took me 15 minutes calling internationally getting this simple issue fixed and I asked the salesperson why the flight was cheaper than I paid yesterday. She stated I didn't have an insurance and didn't qualify for that since I was outside of USA. I told her that I had clearly stated that to the salesman the day before and he assured me of it, as I paid for it. The second salesperson told me I had been (unknowingly) been refunded the amount he charged for the insurance later that day, since I did not qualify for the insurance.

    Shocked and angry by this dishonesty I told her I could not use this flight without insurance. She referred me to another salesperson, who claimed the connection was bad until the phone call broke. After that the same scheme went on. I kept on having to wait on the phone for 15-20 min per salesperson claiming another one would know more and assist, that was a lie. I was not able to cancel the flight and get a refund because I had no insurance! Yes... the main issue from the beginning that I had problems with and was lied to. Having all the communications on both our halves on e-mail to prove my case that I was clearly misinformed and tricked as the salesperson has admitted that according to my phone calls, e-mails they have on record - they still resist on refunding me the flight ticket.

    This has not taken over 6 weeks of useless communications back and forth where the company policy is obviously to pass the customers between each other and trying to wear them out and keep them waiting. Claim they are going to contact me, supervisors will do the same - and nothing happens. Finally when they do call me they continue the game of having me wait while they consult somebody else with the same results. I am not new to online bookings and with good results, but never before with CheapOair that in this case happened to have the most convenient connection flights available. I warn others of dishonesty and sketchy working methods that can only be stated as a scam!

    Booked an International ticket from Kolkata to New York using the website. My mom was travelling alone and it was anyway something I was quite worried about. On top of this, when she went to board a flight to Kolkata, she was said, that the bags would not be through checked. She need to collect the bag in Delhi and again put it back to international. Please make sure that there is no guarantee that you will be able to complete the journey. One example itinerary which shows Air India followed by Virgin Atlantic. Who would look into this and understand that there would not be a through check in of the bag. If someone has to get the bag and again place it for International followed by the immigration in 1 hour 45 minutes. Is this not something you need to think about.

    Their bad reputation starts with their own website of reviews. The bad ones are crossed out and ghostly font and have factual basis crossed with red stamp. You can see for yourself if scroll down to a second page. You can read my story. It's long, couldn't make it shorter. You can skip to the bottom and see what they did for me. Nothing there is no customers service. The worst company I ever booked tickets with. But can you expect with a name like CheapOair. My experience with CheapOair has been the worst to date.

    I booked my ticket over the phone with an agent from Toronto to Phnon Phen, Cambodia. He advised me on the return flight I was having a 17 layover in Shanghai, China, which I didn't mind since I have a friend there. The agent didn't tell me that I have a 24-hour layover in Nanning, China. Once I got my ticket I realized, my change over in Nanning in large bold blue letters it said: "0 hours and 0 minutes". I didn't really examine my return ticket, but I checked the Visa requirements for Shanghai, China. You can stay there as a tourist for 72 without getting a Visa.

    After my wonderful trip, I found myself in Phnon Phen airport at the China Eastern Airlines asking them that for my transfer is 0 hours and 0 minutes. I was flying in at 4 pm and flying out at 4 pm. They said I will figure it out. On the plane I was staring at the ticket and yes, I found the mistake. I was arriving on the Jan 10th at 4 pm but leaving 24 later on the Jan 11th at 4 pm, but even their computer system with CheapOair did not catch it. Slight inconvenience, but I would deal with it. Until, I arrived in Nanning and was immediately detained by the immigration. My flight from Shanghai was two days later and it Nanning the time allowance to stay without a Visa is 24 hours. Same country but each city has different allowed time allowances without a Visa.

    I was detained by 3 hours. I could not get my luggage, the airport was closing, and I was surrounded by 9 people who were holding on to my passport and discussing my destiny. The rep from the airline told me, I have to leave the country in 24 hours. He changed my flight to Shanghai to fly out earlier from Nanning, so I could deal with that issue at a bigger airport. In Shanghai, I tried changing my flight to anywhere in North America just to get out of China. But since it's a different destination I had to buy a whole new ticket which was $1900 CND.

    Otherwise I would have to pay and a fee and be blacklisted and since I travel for work I could not afford to be blacklisted. In total I paid $3800 CND to travel to Asia on economy with both my tickets. What CheapOair did for me is nothing. I didn't use part of my flight. They don't want to reimburse me. They even told me that I was informed of the 24 Layover in Nanning. I was not informed, and I would not agree to fly home for 72 hours. And if they knew then their computer systems would change and put 24 hours transfer in bold blue letters on my electronic ticket.

    I booked a flight 7 days ago with CheapOair and the company failed to complete a verification with my credit card company because their representative refused to give the complete information about my booking. I never received a call or email alerting me that there was an issue until yesterday 3-1-2016. I spoke to two different representatives from their company who confirmed all the details about my booking and promised me an email with my confirmed tickets. As I never received the email I decided to call again today just to be informed that my booking had been canceled 4 days ago! I never got a call or email and that is very unprofessional and just bad customer service.

    I had to purchase my tickets again and it has cost me an extra $400 dollars because the fee is now more expensive. I have purchased many tickets from this company but this will definitely be my last time as a customer. I was neglected and lied to. If I had not called myself I would have never found out that my booking had been canceled! I contacted my credit card company and they verified that your company refused to give complete details about the purchase and that is why it never got verified. Why did it take your company 7 days to call me? I will not ever understand and I will never use your company again in any future businesses.

    Booked a flight at a fair price, one week later I received a cancellation email at 1AM due to no verification. Spoke with customer service and supervisor for over an hour only to receive "Sorry sir." They wanted to charge me an additional $350+ dollars to re-book the exact same flight. After reading some reviews/comments which look to have been attempted to remove, it seems like a common practice for CheapOair to offer a price ONLY to cancel due to "verification" issue and then want more money to re-book, a common illegal bait and switch scheme. Any bank verification is handled by my bank and I receive a text for any fraudulent activity. I am highly discouraged and disappointed with CheapOair and how they conduct themselves. Their customer service is outsourced and doesn't seem to convey any empathy or sympathy for the heartache they cause.

    I booked 6 months ahead of time & chose my seats. CheapOair did NOT confirm my seats and as such, 5 days before I was to leave, they called to tell me I did NOT have any seat and I needed to call the airline. I called the airline and they told me CheapOair should have taken care of this. In the end ONLY Virgin America got me a seat, but since there was no coach left I had to pay extra for upgrade. CheapOair should have paid for THEIR error. Then to add insult to injury, CheapOair called 5 additional times to tell me about my new seat assignment that they had NOTHING to do with. I will NEVER use CheapOair again. And another reason to not use this site, I could not choose 1 star. Got some bogus message about an error submitting details. Seems they only want good reviews. I'll post on other blogs.

    I made booking with the mistake, within an hour I found the mistake, called your customer service. I was offered the proper change with extra payment at $78 per passenger. It was too much for me and your representative offered me the special discount at $25 per ticket, so as it was recorded the average price per ticket should be $506. But my bank sent me all CheapOair charges and total is $1068, it means $534 per ticket. Disappointing!

    I love the many flight options offered by CheapOair. I've used the website 4 times to fly to Corpus Christi. I'm not a seasoned traveler, but I'm becoming more sophisticated.     I am very pleased with the customer service I received when booking my flights. The agent whom I spoke with was very patient and took care of every need and answered all of my questions accordingly. This man knows his job and does it well. I had a lot of needs and he was very patient with me and spent a whole hour on the phone taking care of me. I needed 2 flights leaving at the same time but returning on different dates, and I needed us both to be on the same flight going out. And also due to my grandmother being older I needed a short layover time, as she cannot take hanging out in the airport for a long period of time.

    I was also flexible on dates, so the agent spent a great deal of time running different dates through in order to find me the best possible deals and to make sure to accommodate all of my needs. He had excellent customer service from the start to finish, and all of my concerns were addressed. He even assigned all of our seats to make sure we sat together on our shared flights, and made sure I got my window seats on all flights at no additional charge.     I booked flights with CheapOair numerous times. The last time I booked a flight with them, I had to cancel the flight to return to the US because I was hospitalized and couldn't travel. So I sent all the medical documentations to CheapOair to try to get a fee waiver. Otherwise I would've to pay $150 in order to change the date of my returning flight. I waited for a month and got no email or call from them, nothing. I was the one that had to go after them and send emails and make calls. I talked to three different supervisors, and all they would tell me was to wait for the airline response. It has been over a month and I still haven't heard anything from them. I need to go back to the US, I have a job and things that can be waiting for CheapOair. I will never ever book with CheapOair again. Their customer service is terrible and they are of no help.

    They have little to zero consideration with their customers and do nothing to help you. After all this time I didn't even receive one single email to explain what was going on. So I had to call them again and they them I would pay the fee but when I asked them to re-book my flight they told me I had to pay the $150 penalty fee plus $580, even though I had an airline credit of $320. That's the amount I paid for the entire roundtrip ticket! I was very upset and I decided to buy another roundtrip ticket with another agency for $403. It was a terrible experience and I don't recommend anyone to buy airplane tickets with CheapOair. I can't blame myself for being hospitalized on the day of my flight, but CheapOair do not care about it and will try to get your money as much as they can.

    I recently booked a flight for my wife from Phoenix to Las Vegas through CheapOair in order for her to make an onward afternoon connection from Las Vegas to Stockholm, Sweden. The booking was made on February 2 for a Boutique Air flight on February 22. When my wife arrived at the check-in desk she was told that Boutique Air that there was no flights and as a matter of fact that they had discontinued the route 2 weeks earlier. They also told me that CheapOair had been notified and asked to contact passengers (i.e. my wife) booked on the flight. (This because the airline only had her name, but not her contact details).

    When I call CheapOair I am told that the airline had not informed CheapOair so I should not ask CheapOair for a refund, but to contact the airline for a refund. From a customer perspective this is not the answer I want to hear. My dealings were with CheapOair, not the airline. I paid CheapOair for the ticket and should not have to chase down the airline as I do not think they are charging CheapOair for a flight on a discontinued route. In other words, the money paid for the ticket is in CheapOair's bank account.

    I also wonder about CheapOair's customer service/complaints department as there is no available number to call for this type of a complaint. I googled your home page, and tried 2 different numbers to CheapOair, but in both cases I got connected a sales rep in India (with terrible reception). One of the agents also insinuated that he did not believe this particular flight had been cancelled... I would like an explanation from CheapOair and also to ask whether you think your way of resolving this issue is constitutes good service? PS. No attempt was made to contact my wife from CheapOair (although we did receive a nice email survey 2 days after the cancelled flight asking how the flight was...).

    I bought 4 tickets on Singapore Airlines from CheapOair but after realizing that l might not make my connecting flight on my way back, l decided to make some changes. After calling CheapOair back we manage to get seats on China Airlines but because it has been more than 24 hour since the first booking the agent told me that there will be a cancellation fee and he gave me a figure of $250 per ticket and when l told him that is unacceptable he brought it down to $100 per ticket which l said, "ok". But later l was charged $290 per ticket. I have been trying to resolve this problem since the last 4 days without any success. Each time l call there is someone answering from India who keeps giving me a runaround. I also can't get any contact # for their corporate office in New York. Really frustrating. Will never go back to this company again and will urge whomever l know not to use this travel agency. Robbers period.

    I booked a room, confirmed it and my credit card was charged. I got to the hotel and CheapOair had cancelled my room. I called and they told me my card was declined. Well that was not true. I talked to my bank and the charges are still pending on my account as I write this. I called over and over and they told me that they see that I was charged but now the room was not available. One person I spoke with told me that they had forgotten to confirm with the hotel. Don't trust this company. I did not get any help from them at all. They did not care!! I had to find another room in a sold out area and still have not gotten them to take the charges off.

    I booked a one-way flight with Spirit Airlines through CheapOair from ORD to RSW on 02/23/2016 for 03/31/2016 for 4 people. I received a confirmation and booking receipt which also had an airline confirmation number. A few hours later, I received an email stating the price for my itinerary had changed and I had to make a new reservation. I called CheapOair and the representative stated that the order is not confirmed until the card is charged. There is money in the account so I asked why was the card not charged? He stated the fare was not available at that rate but I could get it for a higher rate now. I just do not understand why you don't honor your confirmed price and receipt. I have the paperwork.

    I am absolutely disgusted with CheapOair! The airline cancelled my return flight and CheapOair failed to send me the flight change. The day before I was to return, I received an email which listed my original return flight itinerary. Thinking I was fine, I didn't try to confirm my flight until the morning I was to fly out for a 12:30 flight. I never received the emails alerting me of my flight cancellation. When I tried to check in to my flight, I received an error message and had to call CheapOair.

    On the line to India, the agents kept telling me over and over again that they tried to contact me but I never received any phone calls or emails and never was able to confirm an itinerary change. The only flight option they offered me and my family was a two connection flight the next day which was unacceptable and would require 12 hours of travel. I had to spend $1,000 for an extra night at my hotel with meals. CheapOair did not take care of me in the least and offered terrible customer service.

    I was booking the flight online before my family to go to Vietnam. I complete everything and CheapOair send me the email with the booking number and even the cheer the seating is pending. But I never received confirmation so I call my credit card company and they say that they never charged it. I called the customer service at least 10 times nobody know what happen, why they don't charge it. Finally a day after there's a Customer Service said that the reason they didn't charge it because the price no longer available. And they tell me that what they can do is to book me another ticket but is 100 to $200 more. So why do they send me the email and safety team is confirmed pending and took my credit card number and everything.
