I called for help because my code REVIEW20 (for a discount you sent me) wouldn't work on the website. So I booked a flight over the phone. Flight 800 Sky Airlines March 12th Santiago Chile to Lima Peru for $284.00 for two tickets. Ten minutes later I was called back and told the tickets if I still wanted this booking was going to be $350.00. I see that the lower fare is still listed on the website and I am very upset.

I had been CheapOair user for quite some time and had made many purchases. Recently I made an international airline ticket purchase under two bookings that was from Chicago-Boston-Frankfurt-Delhi and Delhi-Frankfurt-Paris-Chicago. Making this purchase on CheapOair website was a breeze and I had no issues. On return trip, thanks to you I had an experience of my life. Return flight time was night 02:45 so along with family/kids I left my hometown in the morning of previous day which was 6 hours away and arrived on Delhi airport 5 hours early. After waiting an hour for ticket counter to open I was the first person on the counter. In my decades of flying experience, for the first time I was denied boarding because I did not had a Schengen visa. This was just the start of the nightmare experience.
Arguing and pleading with airline representative did not go anywhere. In their records one of the sector Frankfurt-Paris was a domestic flight which CheapOair failed to mention on the website or on follow-up communication and confirmation. In pursuit of giving the cheapest air ticket, website failed to mention that you have to do immigration on one of the legs of the trip. Well, this was not end of the night and I continued working with the airline ticketing representative to give me any alternate.
After trying for 25 minutes to make changes on the ticket, representative asked me where did I made this purchase and just listening to the name of CheapOair, he smiled and took a step back. He said that I was among many, many people that have been through this nightmarish experience - thanks to CheapOair. It is not just the unethical step of giving tickets without proper notification of "type" of flight it is the restrictions put on the tickets that the airline representative cannot change. So, the airline representative handed back my ticket and said that the tickets are made too restrictive by CheapOair and as per the system can only be changed by calling CheapOair.
Oh well, making international call when most shops/counters were closed at airport was a breeze. Nevertheless, after waiting for 4-5 minutes spoke to a representative who did not show much interest or the depth of my situation, maybe I was one of many everyday cases which I can understand. He took comfortably 15-18 minutes and gave me a quote of around the same amount that I originally purchased. On pleading about the case and the fact that "domestic" flight was never mentioned, he comfortably said, read the fine prints and traveller is responsible of finding out details.
I compare the experience with another travel website that notified me for similar scenario about "domestic" leg of trip and the fact that VISA is required. Unfortunately, this was not the end of the night for me. After making the payment of about $3000 for penalty/fare difference and various fees, I was told to wait for 30 min and the ticket will be issued. Now at this time my flight was leaving in 3 hour. After waiting for 30 min I went to the airline counter and I was told that CheapOair has not completed the ticket purchase process, booking change was made but ticket wasn't issued. Flight was full and it added my frustration but I gave another 15 min and asked the airline to check, there wasn't any change. So, I called up CheapOair again and this time wait time was only 8 minute and I was told to wait another 15 minute. So, I waited and after 20 min, stood in the queue again and asked the airline and there wasn't any change.
Called again and was told to wait another 15 minute, at this time my flight was leaving in under 2 hours and I had to get boarding card and do security check. Well finally 1.5 hour prior to flight airline could see the change and gave me the boarding card. So, anyone deciding to get "cheapest" deal, please make sure you read the "fine print" or book somewhere that better understands travel requirement and notifies the website user as well as provide a tad better customer care.

I purchased a ticket on June 24th and I was notified on June 26 at 4pm that my ticket was cancelled. After talking to them for 1:30 min., they and I concluded that they never processed my cc. Therefore my flight was never booked. They had no apology and I ended up booking a ticket for triple the price. Please do not use their services. And even when they knew the mistake they continued to lie and blame the weather and mechanical issues in the future. My flight was in July and they stated that because of weather and mechanic conditions, the flight was cancelled.
The reservations was not confirmed due to Frontier had a schedule change in the middle of booking this reservation., Once it was completed, they did not accept the booking 2 calls were made to Angela in which we received voice mail, once the booking was canceled out, and cancel email sent, is when she contacted us. Our agents did try and make another reservation for her similar to what she had, but she denied. There was no finding of agents telling her it was canceled due to mechanical or weather. It was plainly the airline didn't accept the booking.

When booking my flight with CheapOair I was told there was no "agent fee" and was charged for one. I told agent that I wanted roundtrip seating arrangements with my flight partner or I would have to look otherwise. He said there is an additional fee to arrange seating, and "assured" me that he was able to book our seating together for the entire roundtrip. Everything sounded great! When I opened my itinerary the next day, one of the transfer flights did not have us seated together. (No seats available together). I contacted CheapOair to ask what happened. They said, "We cannot guarantee it, but at least we got you 75% of the flight together" - how insulting! How about I sell you a pair of shoes and give you only one and tell you, at least you got one of them? NONSENSE. They also stated a supervisor could not help me with this problem. I insisted on a supervisor after going back and forth with this person.
The supervisor said that it was the airline's responsibility and they had no control over it. So, I asked then "Why are you selling something that you have no control over and telling me that you arranged it as I requested at time of booking?" After much debate he offered to refund my money for seating fee. I also received a refund for the agent fee. NOTE: The original booking agent lied to me about two things: his fees and guaranteed seating arrangement. Though I appreciate the refunds, I will never book with them again. INTEGRITY IS NOT GOOD. I cancelled my car booking with them after this because I want to rest assured there will be no problems. By the way, the airlines said I would have to talk to them about seating arrangements since I booked it with them as a third party. I was able to go straight to the airlines online and arrange my own seating at no charge. Now, to wait for the refunds to post to my account!

It was easy booking my trip and car. The only issue I have is that the company that I'm renting a car is charging $200 on top of the price that will be refunded when I return the car but I worry that I won't be refunded!!

I had set my departure/arrival dates, paid for the ticket 3 months in advance and then was informed 6 weeks before my trip my son had a major graduation during my scheduled time away. I needed to change my flight dates. I knew it could be $200 or $300 to make the change but I was stuck. I called CheapOair, talked with Cecelia and was able to change the make dates work for me - at a VERY reasonable cost. I was very pleased!

Traveled June 23 supposedly Grand Rapids, MI to Detroit, MI to Amsterdam to Lodz, Poland. Went via KLM/Delta and the last leg Adria Air. This was an itinerary change with corresponding $426 change fee. Problem: the last leg of the trip Amsterdam to Poland the seat was cancelled or not booked appropriately. No reason for the cancellation as I could see it was not a full flight and talking to Adria Air no reservation found.
Unfortunately due to time constraints and realizing the problem too late unable to make that flight. So talking to Wilford we made arrangement to fly to Munich on the 24th of June, spent the night in the airport and currently for the flight to Lodz on the 25th of June. This "fix" cost me another $100 US dollars. A snafu at was not at fault. I had called Delta and KLM three times on the night before the flight and the itinerary was confirmed. I also had two confirmation emails from CheapOair. I do appreciate Wilford come up with a workable plan however due to my inconvenience and delay to Lodz that wasn't of my doing the extra charge was not justified in my opinion.

The agent looked for about one half hour and found me three separate flights at a very inexpensive cost. Dayton to Ft. Myers, Ft. Myers to Costa Rica, Costa Rica to Dayton. He did a fine job.

Booked a flight to return home from Atlanta GA to Allentown PA with one change over in Philadelphia PA on June 18th 2016 to return back to work on the 19th & with the overbooking of CheapOair & American Airlines I was stranded in Atlanta GA for an extra day on standby with very little funds left from my vacation & was almost told I lost funds paid out for confirmed flight booked... With this happening it nearly costed me my job also due to calling out sick on the 19th. As I arrived to my flight location in Atlanta GA to Philadelphia PA (Change Over) I sat for 2 hours prior to boarding and Group 4 was never called to board due to the ladies at counter were too busy with paper jams in the printers, boarding & trying to answer why group 4 not called then to be turned away with standby & attitude... NOT SATISFIED!
Therefore, missed flight home till next day... Low funds left. And almost lost my job of 30 years with same company... due to calling out sick. Not Happy. But glad to be home! I leave myself asking... Do I fly with American Airlines thru CheapOair... It is in the Air! Was able to book flight home for the 19th with one layover but I am still livid with this inconvenience, also with my loss of pay with my job for Sunday, June 19th.

NEVER NEVER use this website... I wanted to add an infant, I had to call 8 times. If you ask for supervisor, after 10 mins. waiting it will disconnect. Rude service. Pathetic, false, bargain. The phone number in the website is not the customer service, billing dept. Once you said all the personal detail, you have to say again because they will move your call around... Horrible.

CheapOair did a "bait and switch" for our return trip from our vacation in Alaska. The computer option chosen was Fairbanks to Memphis with minimal lay-overs. They fare matrix switched my proposed plans to depart from Anchorage to Memphis with 2 lay-overs. We had to purchase an additional airline ticket through Alaska Air. This company has already been investigated by the Dept of Transportation and paid a $92,500 fine for the very problem I have described. (Wikipedia) My advice: do not fly if you have to use CheapOair. You will spend 26 hours in flights and airports and still not be home, just like my husband and me this very minute.

I bought a ticket from CheapOair and I thought that's the cheapest price I can get. The next day I found my credit card was charged for two bills. One directly to CheapOair ($31) and one to the airline. I called the customer service and then I waited for almost 20 minutes and the guy on the other side was extremely unfriendly, impatient and even rude. He was trying to explain that everything was paid to the airline. But my credit card bill said very clearly that $31 was paid to CheapOair. I asked for a refund and the guy was telling me that I should go the United Airline in the first place. Then WHY do I need this website? What is the point of having CheapOair?

Hi my flight was delayed due to that I cannot get on my connecting flight which I have to be at the airport by 7 am. I thought Virgin policy was you will get the next flight which is 1 hour 15 minutes later but no I'm expected to wait with 3 kids for 6 hours, get home late, get a train at a dangerous hour. The time I get home and wait for other trains it will be the next day at 8 am. I was offered the next flight leaving at 11.35 am but the offer the next day was reneged.

I bought R/T ticket Manila > Guam. Was told price all in all $482 (for two people). When I notified you that CheapOair put my child in row 10 and me in row 32, you move my daughter to row 32 also. Worst seats possible, but... oh well... Then you charged me $62 to rectify your representatives ignorance. If a child cannot fly alone until she is 17, (and you did know her age) and 2 people are on 1 ticket, and your rep had the brains that God gave a goat this would NEVER happen. When I called via phone I was told that United Airline charged. I ask United and they told me they would NEVER do that. I expect the $62 be refunded IMMEDIATELY.

My experience was amazing! The agent was absolutely friendly and helpful. I called because there was a problem with booking my flights on the CheapOair website. (My last name is hyphenated so it did not allow me to use my PayPal credit to book and purchase our flights.) However, over the phone he was sorry about that and explained that was something out of their control, and to assist me he actually found me the same flights and was able to give me an even better deal as long as I used a credit card!! That was amazing and I could not pass that up. Thank you to the agent who helped me!! It was a wonderful experience that I was happier to receive!

Awful customer service. I had booked a flight in May 2016 with CHEAPOAIR going to MIA with my family to visit my grandmother who has terminal illness and taking the time to bring my children to see their Great Grandmother for the last time. However, I was so sure of my date never even thought of checking after they had sent me the email info about the reservation. I found out later that the reservation had booked for departing on July 24 to July 29 instead of July 26 to August 1st. I had called them immediately to rectify the issue. Of course all I've getting is they reassign me very rudely left and right. Since no one were able to help me I had to call my bank and disputed the charges. I even asked them that I notice other tickets for right date for sale but more expensive. I would mind purchasing it and the gentlemen didn't want to hear me. He shut me up and not even willing to go extra miles to offered even 1% resolution.
I am in the Hotel Industries in Boston working for a high class hotel on Boylston street as a Manager and I never seeing anything like that. It would have been very nice for them to build strong, enduring connection with the customers and consistently create exceptional experiences through bold, inspired service, and take pride in the results that they delivered.

I have been booking my air tickets through CheapOair from 2009 and was satisfied with service from them but my today's experience is not good. Because of visa issue I needed to change my travel date and for that I called to the customer service. One representative has helped me to change my travel dates, I appreciate for that but he has charged a huge amount of extra money (>$1000 for two tickets) for this which is really frustrating to me. I called the customer service again but nothing has been changed. After this experience I have decided not buy any ticket from this travel agency.
Dear Jayasree, very sorry to hear you were not happy with your recent transaction. Each airline has an airline penalty for making changes to your reservation. You were booked from Houston to Kolkata, which isn't an inexpensive place to travel to. So the airline fee of $250.00, to change and the fare difference of $250.00 for a 500.00 add collect is not bad for this type of itinerary. You had Visa issues, so you were very limited on the route and flights that we could offer you. So airfare has gone up since you purchased your ticket, and cheaper seats had already sold out, due to people booked way in advance. But we hope you do try us again, and it will be a better experience and everything is in order next time around.

I originally had an Internet issue with selecting my flights. I ended up calling the toll free number and was helped quickly and courteously. I wrote down my flight information however, I never received my email confirmation. I called the toll free number for customer service and my issue was once again taken care of quickly. I called CheapOair and explained what I had done and that my ticket has already been issued. The airline would not let me get on plane if my name was wrong. I thought I could change it online but that was not the case. You have to pay $50.00 to correct the error. I told them I was going to cancel my flight. CheapOair agreed to pay half of the $50.00. Very pleasant and helpful and I received my new reservations with my name spelled correctly. My suggested to all is to check and recheck everything you have put in before you submit.

I am still in shock. I first made my own reservations online, but was unable to get the same connecting flight for the second half of the flight. So, since I wanted to get the flights together, I cancelled one ticket and then called for help. That was mistake number one. NEVER call for help! IN fact, NEVER use this company!
So the travel agent was pleasant enough and we talked about what to do to get the problem solved. The solution was to route the flight through a different connecting city so we could get the same connecting flight. So I rebooked my wife's flight through Chicago and the plan was to change my daughter's ticket to go through Chicago as well. But evidently, the agent never changed my daughter's flight. I'm sure we talked about doing that because that was the whole purpose of booking my wife's flight through Chicago.
So, unfortunately, I didn't look closely at the flight information that they sent me. Actually, it's been over a month now so the details are a little fuzzy, but I can't figure out why the agent never changed my daughter's ticket to match the new ticket I got for my wife. So, we were looking at our tickets today and noticed the discrepancy. I was in absolute shock! My wife is taking my daughter back to the US to go to college and now they are on different flights! Absolutely unbelievable! Some of these people sound like they are from India. Perhaps there was a language difficulty? I don't know.
So, I contacted the company and asked about the discrepancy. The guy I chatted with told me that I only had one ticket and that my wife's ticket had been cancelled! SHOCK number 2! I was again dumbfounded. I cancelled it once, but not twice. Here I thought I had 2 tickets and was all ready to fly and he tells me that I only have 1! Well, I was sure glad I found that out, but was puzzled as to how this could have happened! We continued looking at the information we received from them and checked on the status of my wife's supposedly cancelled flight. Lo and behold, that showed that everything was fine and dandy and ready to go.
Again I was in shock. In the meantime, I had researched other tickets and almost bought another ticket! I almost wasted $1500 because of their incompetency. So I called them this time and was told that actually, both flights are good to go! How absolutely frustrating! How can I trust what they say now? So, in the end, we do have two tickets but they are for different flights! How can this happen? My failure was to check the details closely after they made the changes. I guess I just trusted what the agent told me and assumed it was right or I missed the parts that were different. Anyway, ALWAYS CHECK THE DETAILS OF THE FLIGHTS! My fault there, but how in the world is such a mistake possible? I will never use them again!

After an initial review with the agent I thought this was going to be confrontational but actually it ended up well. They had every right to charge me a significant fee as the error WAS my fault. I don't like how the system alters your initial request of dates to a flexible schedule to dates sometimes nowhere near what you need. My ending was terrific and a slight fee was charged.

After searching for a last minute cheap flight it seemed the bots noticed what we were searching for. And in this case no rd. trips showed up only one ways seemed cheaper and the correct return. Then when it was, the selection the desired flight vanished or screen froze. In calling cs for help that seemed that all we could find on both ends, was 2 hrs. away from our departure city, which was the wrong city but all that was offered. AS SOON AS IT WAS BOOKED, and she was done and off the phone with cs, she did one more search. To her surprise there was the destination return! So she booked it. But she spent the next 4 days trying to cancel the wrong return 2 hrs. away with no success! Is this just to get any departure sold even if it's the wrong destination?
So my wife spent 4 days on the phone trying to get the so-called advertised 4-hr. or 24 hrs. cancellation. She got put on hold, disconnected, and every agent promised to help her but then after 30 to 40 mins. of the same discussion to each new rep, name, flight, problem, she was disconnected, then had to call back. She tried ALL FORMS OF COMMUNICATION FOR A REFUND. Chat, text, email, hrs. upon hrs. & days on the phone. And everything was copied and documented. We even finally got a cs email saying they got our refund request, and said they would get back to us. They never did. Obviously they are very busy servicing customers either buying tickets or handling complaints.
Possibly their website and their phones were overloaded but each time they asked for a callback number. Either she didn't get a callback or the call would ring once no message would be left and if she tried to call back the number it was a number that could not be called back. As I said this went on for four days of her being the aggressive person trying to reach them and trying to talk to them to fix the problem of the duplicate booking to the wrong destination. It was not until the day before the flight that she finally demanded to speak to another supervisor as she had been doing all along and threaten them with legal action. Each person she had spoken to in the four days knew why she was calling. But when she spoke to this person Garratt in SOD the whole procedure took 5 minutes. Yet she repeatedly had asked for a supervisor in her prior calls.
I cannot imagine why the other representatives she spoke to talk to her for at least a half an hour putting on hold then coming back to her saying that they were working on it and then nothing was ever written about in notes or anything else although that may not be true because that was what one person said where several of the people said there were notes about this whole problem. There are many complaints all over the internet about this service although we had used them in the past we had never tried to cancel anything. But I can say that I feel very gun-shy as whether or not to ever use them again, ever have faith in them again. My wife even called the airlines and she said of course they had to take it up with the travel agent. She was very persistent spending hours and hours and hours and hours and hours on the phone and still it did no good.
On the fourth day we saw that that was a duplicate charge which CheapOair claims will fall off at some point for the wrong destination ticket that we have been trying to cancel. So now that our credit card is tied up with holds and fees and everything else from CheapOair and the airlines it makes you really wonder if you can have faith in this company. This supervisor claimed that he would on our behalf contact the airline to see if they would consider refunding the money because it was out of CheapOair's hands even though it within the time frame that CheapOAir advertises. However even though we got emails in regards to this that day of the transaction but never was the refund processed as per CheapOair.
They claim that if the airline does not release the funds and refund us the money that they will see what they can do. Is this any way to do business, fool me once shame on you Karma for me twice... I will do an update on this outcome if we get our money back which I doubt seriously. As far as I'm concerned this is false advertising, they tried and succeeded for 4 days to avoid our numerous requests for cancellation, even though we still had travel with a departure and arrival with the same cities on the itinerary. All of this was within the cancellation time frame and 4 days prior to the flight.

My experience with CheapOair was undeniably an excellent experience. Recently, I opted to change my flight schedule. Although the call went too long and been talking to 3 agents. The last agent named Elroy had been very helpful with all of my queries. He provided me all the information I needed and he even offered me options about the availability of the flight schedules. Consequently, I run out of minutes since I was calling outside US. Nonetheless, he called me back and walk through with all the procedures. Booked round trip for $181.20 from CheapOair on June 7, 2016, received confirmation email at 7:52pm. Sent my mother itinerary and requested vacation time from work. Received email from CheapOair on June 7, 2016 saying "The price requested for your itinerary has changed." Clicked link and saw price had gone up to $269.00. Still a little less expensive than other flights so book the flight again. Receive confirmation email.
Received email from CheapOair on 6/8/2016 saying "Due to the airline(s) not confirming your booking, we were unable to issue your tickets." The AIRLINE did not confirm booking? Confirmation is automatic with every airline I have ever booked with. And I get this a day later? The link attached to the email takes me to a page where my "alternate flight options" are now in the $500.00-$600.00 range. With the option to cancel the flight, of course. Canceling the flight involves a 90-minute wait online or a 45-minute wait by phone. By this time my flight options are limited and very expensive. HORRIBLE service.

While ordering tickets on-line, the offered price suddenly jumped upwards several hundred dollars. I canceled the transaction immediately. No more than a minute later, a CheapOTickets representative called to inform me of available flights meeting my needs and price requirements on another airline. This is my first experience with CheapOair. The gentleman was fast and sent confirmation within 20 minutes. I asked for assigned seats for Hans & Lorraine together and he said that was extra but the first flight 6031--the seats are separated by one and on return light from LAX to DEN (6022) it says Select Seats so he did not fulfill our needs totally. I guess we will find out in December if we will use CheapOair again.

I called 3 times to consumer service to make a change on my flight dates since my children will not be allowed to flight because we did not have a birth certificate properly Apostille. The first time they told me that the penalty was 27.000 USD (for 5 tickets that cost less than 4.500 in total). That was CRAZY! I called LATAM and they told me that the penalty was 200USD per ticket but they could not make the change. I called a second time and the lady said she will have called me back because she could not see the final penalty of the cost (system problem). She did not call me back. I had to called a third time and the lady manage to make the change and fix all. The third lady was outstanding. I wish the first two would have been as caring as efficient!

I was on hold with the customer service agents for over one hour! Got through once, and when I told them that I needed to change my departing flight the call "dropped". I called again and was never able to get through and was on hold for an additional 45 minutes. I tried the live chat and after telling them my issues I once again received no response. Extremely bad experience, as soon as they know that you are calling because of an issue from a month ago, they start transferring the call without telling you. Just today I spoke with 6 different agents. Nobody knew why I was calling for. I know that the have note regarding my issue, I worked at a call center with excellent customer service and I never did that, customers are first. A month ago and I still have an issue, nobody want to resolve the issue. Dynamic Airlines are not flying from Maracaibo anymore, only from Caracas, that doesn't work for me, that's why I need a refund. Thanks.

For two days in a row I saw the flights online I wanted for the price I was willing to pay. Both days after I filled in all the necessary information I got the message that the flights I was seeking was no longer available. Coincidence? I don't think so. Also I started getting several calls from the company asking me if I wanted those same flights for $300 more! That's called bait and switch. I called CheapOair and requested to talk to a supervisor and finally was transferred to a woman who listened to my complaints. After giving her all the desired dates and flight numbers she asked if I could be placed on hold for a few minutes. Where do they go and what do they do when that happens? Well, she put me on hold for 30 minutes until ultimately I was disconnected. They always ask in advance for a "good contact number" but she never tried to get back to me. I am furious! Shame on you CheapOair!!!

The WORST experience I ever had booking and buying flights online!!! I came to the Caribbean to film a documentary. When I got to Barbados CheapOair had canceled my flight that I paid for and even had a booking number and ticket printed because the company raised the price of the ticket 4 hours after! If they can't guarantee the price they should NOT be selling plane tickets online. I lost 2 days of filming, had to pay for the entire team to sleep in another place, and when I tried to call (international) to understand what was happening they put me on hold for more than 20 minutes and the call drops, once, twice, 3x. Crazy bad service, this site should be closed!

I can't tell you how many times I heard, "Just a minute, ok?" But always with care and very kindly. My intent by calling was as offered on the website, to get confirmation of airlines policy for 3 flights for my minor child traveling unaccompanied. Instead I had a full service, checking each flight and related company policy on this matter, booking it for me. What I don't understand is why it took over an hour but fortunately with loud speaker and mute buttons, and with the gentleness and correctness of the person helping me I didn't get mad showing that when tools aren't so great people make such a difference. I was surprised that whenever I said, "But the flight you get me is more expensive than the one I found", he kept searching and finally also gave me the insurance I wanted and the taxes for free almost so it looks as if it's like a car you see a price but you can still bargain (on the phone here) if you take the time!

I did not get the full discount as stated using the discount code provided so I called. I got excellent help by calling. What really makes me mad is how the people get screwed by the airline rates. They double the rates just because it is a holiday weekend, not because gas prices have gone up. I made the same flight 2 months ago for half the price. This company is a scam. Once you complete the transaction, the seats are not assigned. One has to call. The customer service support is terrible. It takes over 30 minutes to get a response. It is obviously outsourced to India or Pakistan. The operators are rude, and hard to understand. Then you're billed extra for your seats and when the passenger checks in, the airline does not recognize your seat assignment, saying that no payment has been made by Cheapoair. When calling its customer service number, they claim that the "system doesn't work, so call later." I travel internationally monthly. This never happened with Expedia, Priceline, etc. So my advice, stay away from Cheapoair.

Please read this before you make a business deal with CheapOair.com. CheapOair charged my account for $533.00 for a fee in order to change my flight destination. The next day I arrived at airport in Frankfurt and found out the Lufthansa airlines did not have an electronic ticket for me which should have been issued by CheapOair. So Lufthansa charged me another $598.60 for issuing me a ticket that should have been done by CheapOair. I have contact CheapOair several times. They are hiding in some shop in India and make promises that they will issue me a refund but to date they have not. Do NOT buy any tickets from these guys in INDIA.

I purchased two flights with the same dates and time of travel. When I received email confirmation one of the flight's return date was not correct. So I called CheapOair to resolve issue. Not only did they not understand but the woman I spoke with was very sarcastic and combative. She then hung up on me. I called back to hear someone pick up phone and hang up again which was strange but made me furious. I travel a lot and have never experienced this type of customer service in my life.
When I finally got an answer it was a male who then told me that I would have to pay over $500 to change a ticket that was just purchased. Even though the price of ticket hasn't changed. I understand paying the standard change fee. What I don't get is if the flight price hasn't changed then why do I have to pay such an excessive amount for a new flight. It made more sense to buy a new flight online. So strange. Someone told me to try this company because the price was good. But I will NEVER purchase through CheapOair again. They try to take extra and blame it on the actual airlines. Well I called the actual airline and guess what I only had to pay change fee. So be aware!!!

I bought the international ticket as a gift to my aunt. She barely spoke English. I put her name and there was an issue with the spelling. She missed the flight and we had to buy new tickets for her. I called customer service and they said the tickets are in the hands of Qatar Airways. I called Qatar Airways and they asked me to call back CheapOair. I was calling back and forth with no results, and CheapOair finally said they will not honor the missed flight ticket nor would they give me credit for it. We decided to call CheapOair's toll-free number because (a.) our return flights were on different dates, and (b.) to ensure that my seat was adjacent to my elderly mother's for the legs of the outgoing flight. ** was able to find the best-priced flights on the dates we provided (we already searched on-line on CheapOair and others' websites) and proceeded to make the bookings. I had no problems other than I could not check with Frontier Airlines to print out my boarding pass in MCO. It is difficult to sit straight up for 4 hours and not be able to put the seat back. Are all the air crafts like that now? I had that experience with Spirit Airlines and now with Frontier Airlines. I find that the extra payments for bags and seat is actually more expensive than if I booked a flight with one of the bigger airlines, where these things are free.

CheapO had booked me on a Nice France to Palm Beach Florida Lufthansa trip which, I later discovered, entailed an airport change from JFK airport to Newark airport which I wanted to avoid. Asked the rep if the booking could be altered to consolidate the return either through Newark or JFK without an airport change. Rep was superb. Determined, polite, informed. Made sure to avoid putting me on hold to hold the connection (from Italy to CheapO in the U.S.). Was obviously a complicated and time consuming operation because he needed to also protect our "Economy Plus" status to ensure comfortable seats. He got it done and should be commended.

Flight was downsized upon arrival at the airport. Staff members at the airport are attempting to maintain some order, however, the situation just got completely out of control. I need one email to confirm reservation 10 more to sell me stuff I don't want or need (car, hotel, meals). Then try to find the one I need with booking. What joy!!! I must be too stupid to know I will need a hotel or park bench. Start your set up with a stupid meter. If I pass - I don't get 10 more emails.

I booked 2 tickets in amount of $588.26 each ticket, but CHEAPOAIR charged me 6 times of that amount. I tried to resolve this on so many ways - I didn't solved the problem. I sent even my credit card statements and everything but no luck. Called 7-8 times even with a representative of Citibank credit card, and nothing. I spent on the line with them for hours but they don't know what they are doing. So unprofessional. So be aware of CheapOair. I will never travel with them any more for sure. It's a so bad company.

The Saudia website shows an error message saying that the mobile and email contact information is missing. I contacted Saudia help desk, they told me to contact the travel agency (CheapOair) to update the record. I have been in contact with CheapOair and trying to get the contact information and the Delta frequent flyer number added to the reservation but without any success. I have written numerous mails and have made several calls to CheapOair but their agents are clueless. I regret making the booking through CheapOair and should have used their more popular competitors. On CheapOair Chat, I was told to send the information on this mail id. Can you please look into it and update the record as necessary - the information which may need to be updated.

Just spend all morning talking to different agents in this company after incredible long waits on the phone. I booked my airplane tickets since January 15 2016. We are not in May 14, 2016. They have change my itinerary 2 times, giving me ridiculous options. Yesterday for the third time they called me to let me know that the flight going instead of arriving at 5:00 pm, it will arrived at 11:00 pm. Completely unacceptable since I have to travel to another city one hour away at night (the advisory warn strongly not to travel at night).
The last time they change my coming back, instead of arriving my city at 8:00 pm they left me and my family for a layover of more than 12 hours in Mexico City. I accepted although they refuse to pay for the Hotel, thinking that I paid this ticket a little cheaper than normal price. But after all of this changes, If I do not cancel the tickets (the option is take the new ticket or cancel) I would end of paying about $400 in extra expenses for Hotels and cancel reservations which this company refuses to take responsibility at all. Now they are even refusing to cancel the insurance paid for the tickets. This is ridiculous and NEVER, NEVER again will deal with them. Is better to go directly with the airlines. This is a den of thieves. I can go on, and on with documented paperwork on the inefficiency and money hungry this company is. Do not trust your travel plans in their hands. The only good and prompt thing they do is collecting your credit card number to charge.

I have had a TERRIBLE experience with CheapOair so far. When you enter the site the first screen asks where you are coming from, where you are going and then you click roundtrip. Then it list the flights. I selected and paid for a flight only to see that it is returning me to FLO Florence, SC. I live in NC and this airport is over 2 hours drive time away! I never asked for this airport and assumed it was a glitch in the website. So I called customer service, spoke to a gentleman with a very strong accent and heard screen doors closing in the background! He told me he was unable to help get it straightened out but he would escalate it to his supervisor and I would definitely get a return phone call no later than within the next 4 hours from my call. I gave him the number.
It's been over 40 hours now and still no call. This is terrible customer service and unless this is immediately resolved I will see to it that nobody within my entire company ever uses this site again. I have never received such poor service from CheapOair. I never said anything about an airport in Florence, SC! I am very UPSET WITH THIS COMPANY!

I booked my flight from Cheapoair 3 weeks ago which cost me USD645/person and I would like to change my itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances. I had a live chat with 2 of Cheapoair staffs online today and both of them quoted me a different price to make the changes. First staff, ASHER quoted me USD483.50/person and offered me USD100 discount after I complaint the price is too high. He kept pushing me to make the changes on the spot and mentioned the price will gone up very soon.
One hour later, I chatted with second staff, LENA. She quoted me USD390/person and offered me the discounted price of USD325/person. As you can see there is a different of price quoted by both of the staffs. I felt cheated by Cheapoair as they are trying to squeeze your money when you ask for changes/cancellation. Please be aware if you would like to book with Cheapoair unless you are very sure you won't make any changes/cancellation.
Tan, pricing is based on the flight options that are available and different flights can have a different cost in airfare due to the availability. The airline automatically had a change fee of $250.00 per person, the additional cost is the flight option that was provided to you and the 2 agents gave different options. I do see even with the 160.00 fare difference you did not make any changes to the reservation. Airfares are subject to change!

Upon connecting with your website and actually booking a flight I had questions that I could not find the answer to on your site. So I took the liberty to call your 855-464-2101. Your pre-recorded message said "This call will be record to ensure the quality of this call." Ok, so I spoke to one of your representatives where I addressed my concerns and questions. I simply asked him "I am not sure the spelling of my niece's middle name is, do I need to have this information now or can I call you back?" Your representatives response was "No ma'am, you have four hours to call us back and make changes."
So I proceeded with booking the flight and made arrangements and before I gave him my credit card I asked him three times, "Are you sure I don't need her middle name especially if she's a minor and will be traveling alone?" Each time he responded with "No ma'am, it's ok you can call us back." Well after I contact my sister-in-law and asked her for my nieces middle name, I call back. Not 4 hours later, but just 30 mins later! Only to hear the representative tell me that I could not add a middle name and the could not guarantee me that the using the ticket could board if the name on the ticket was not the whole name or same as on the birth certificate. That is not what I was told!
That is why I specifically picked up the phone and called your services directly! Second, I demanded to speak with a supervisor and asked that my call be review and heard so that they knew I was give false information and was baited and switched. A supervisor never came to the phone, I was left on hold for 45 mins without so much as even acknowledgment of me being on the phone. Sure I was able to get a refund but now my money is being tied up and will not see my bank account for 20 days! I will never seek to do business with CheapOair.com again. They are misleading, bait and switch customer services and they will tell you anything to make the sale and deliver nothing. Avoid this site, it will end up costing you more in the long run!

I just booked the air ticket for my family to come Canada for my graduation ceremony. Also, I bought the insurance which insure the free cancellation and other things. These days when I phoned back to cancel the ticket, they want to charge me for $600 for the cancellation, and I cannot get the full refund either. The customer service is bad, and they push me to talk with the insurance company to claim refund, and showed me other conditions that not apply to this booking. Such ridiculous explanations. Please be cautious and aware of their conditions and deals. Some of the ads are misleading and wrong. Never ever will book the ticket on CHEAPOAIR.CA anymore!!!

After spending near 2 hours on the phone and 9 different call transfers still don't know what the status on the reservations that I made. The last I knew was that I was going to receive an email with the flight and ticket confirmation and I'm still waiting for it. Lack of knowledge on some of the client services techs. I even had a hang up because they didn't know how to handle this simple credit card issue. NOT HAPPY WITH THIS EXPERIENCE!!!

I booked a flight back in the beginning of March 2016 to go to the Dominican Republic. I called customer service before I booked (back in March) and explained to them that I had never flown out of the country and that I needed assistance finding out which airport destination I should select. I gave the woman (sounded like a woman) the name of the hotel in Puerto Plata, and she advised me what flight I should take. I thanked her, booked the flight, and that was it.
However, a week ago I found out that ticket was for Punta Cana, the WRONG airport. So, I called to check with customer service. I waited around 15 mins for someone to answer my call. When they finally answered, they asked what I needed and I explained the situation. The man said that the system was down and that I would have to call back in an hour and hung up on me mid-sentence when I asked him if he could write down my phone number and info.
So I just waited until the hour passed and called back. Another man with an accent answered and I explained once again my situation. He said to give him a moment to make the changes. I initially paid $400 for my plane tickets. When he returned from hold, he informed me that I would have to pay an EXTRA $600 and more ("for fees" he said). I explained to the man that this didn't sound right ($400 + $600 + more mentioned fees is absolutely crazy), as I wasn't changing dates, times, or my destination country, just the airport. Also, my flight/trip isn't until August 2016 (over 3 months away).
When I asked him to explain, he got very rude and told me that I needed to look up flights on my own. I asked him (very nicely) if I could please be transferred to a supervisor or manager. He said, quote, "I won't transfer you to my supervisor until you research flight information online and get your facts." I explained to him that I wasn't exactly sure what he wanted me to "research" and to please put me through to his supervisor. He said, quote, "I already told you, I refuse to transfer you until you look up this info on our website. I will not transfer until you look it up. I'm waiting. Let me know when you have looked it up."
So, of course, now I'm angry. I asked if my flight could be canceled and refunded, he said, "No." That's it. Didn't give an explanation or anything, as if I wasn't worth the time. So I told him that if I wasn't put through to a supervisor I would hang up and report him. He chuckled and repeated that he wouldn't put me through until I "looked up my facts". So, I hung up. I tried calling back to speak to another customer rep, but my call was suspiciously disconnected each time. This man was downright mean and rude.
A couple days later, I spoke to 2 more customer representatives, that were actually supervisors. The first one said his name was Deshawn (not sure of spelling, but that's what it sounds like). He called me late at night around 9:30pm, and said that he would try to work something out with the airlines and that he would call me within 24 hours. However, I never heard back from him, so I called again. This time when I asked for a supervisor, they put me right through without any argument. I was transferred to a Sher-wee (again, not sure of spelling, but that's what it sounds like). When I asked for the rude guy's name from the following night, he said they said didn't have that information (which I know isn't true, because they were able to tell me the other supervisor's name).
He also tried to lie and say that I booked my tickets for August 1st (Monday) through August 6th (Saturday). I told him this absolutely wasn't possible (I know for a fact that I DIDN'T book these dates, and have an email to prove it) because my friend's family leaves on the 5th (Friday), and I wouldn't have anywhere to stay. Also, I have to be back to work Friday. I booked the trip from August 1st (Monday) until August 4th (Thursday) because I wanted to make sure I didn't get stranded alone. He kept pushing and saying that I was wrong and that I did book for August 6th, but thankfully I found the email confirming the booking was for August 4th and he finally admitted that he was wrong. He then said that Deshawn (the original supervisor) wasn't in today, and that he would be calling me tomorrow (Wednesday) around 5:30pm. He also told me to call American Airlines.
So after I hung up with him, I did call the airline. I spoke with a woman, and she told me that unfortunately, there is nothing they can do since the booking was through CheapOair. She also told me that this is a tactic they use to get rid of customers on the phone, as there is nothing that the airline can do since the transaction was through CheapOair.
Then, another couple of days later, a woman (Ana, I believe is her name) called me while I was at work and was unable to answer the phone. She left me a voicemail asking me to please contact her. So, as soon as I left work, I called her back. I was put through to an answering machine. I left a message, but haven't heard anything back.
Since they are unable to change my flight without OUTRAGEOUS extra costs, I would like a full refund for my SINGLE ticket, which they are refusing to do. I don't think this is right at all, and they shouldn't be allowed to get away with this stuff. My flight is more than 3 months away (I booked it early in case anything happened) and none of the 3 emails they sent me mentioned anything about being non-refundable. I can send those 3 emails as well.
I've read from other reviews that they have charged credit cards without authorization, changed flights without confirmation, and even the lady at American Airlines didn't have nice things to say about this company. I don't understand how they are graded as A+ at the BBB when they have all these serious complaints against them??? I would advise to STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! I am doing all that I can to alert people to be careful!

I called to correct a booking error that I hadn't noticed until after printing out my itinerary confirmation. I was connected to an agent in less than a minute and the agent corrected the error. She was both helpful and courteous. I called later about a question regarding my car rental and again the agent was helpful and assured me that everything was okay.

Ronald, boarding passes are obtained off the airlines website 24 hours prior to departure. You will log into the airline sites and enter in the airline confirmation number, and proceed from there. You can also obtain them at the airport day of departure.

I had booked ticket and paid by credit card. Next day my business associate told me to cancel the ticket and reschedule after a week. So I did cancel ticket. In few minutes, my business associate asked me to change and come as planned. So I rebook my ticket. Now, I ended up paying twice. I am told it will take 2-3 weeks to refund. I think refund should be immediate in today's technology, why to wait. Please do something.
Dinesh, because there has been a ticket issued, they are all accountable now through an airline accounting system called ARC. So the ticket is reported on our weekly report and sent to this accounting firm, they verify all the tickets issued and determine if the ticket is indeed eligible to be refunded, after that it goes to the airline who verifies the transaction, and the refund comes from them. So there is a check and balance, not like a credit you receive from a store.

I've had a number of dealings with this company recently while I plan a trip to the U.S. with my family. I thought that the site was good and the service people were great. Friendly and efficient. Prices seemed good. One small point, some customers like myself may not necessarily be after the very cheapest price but would prefer to pay more for convenience (time of flights, amount of time between flights, reduce number of stop offs, etc.) so it might be good for your service people to check about that when in conversation. I liked the way that the service people seemed "human" and engaged in nice conversation where appropriate (but we're still highly professional). I was especially impressed by the way that I was able to change one of my bookings the next day once I had given more thought to what I had booked - I was worried I'd be told that I could not do this and was so pleased that I could.

I was disappointed because I ask him, "was there any cheaper prices other days", and "was that the cheapest price?" Later that day I saw same flight for $204 and I paid $222. He did look for any cheaper.

I was attracted to book a flight with you because quotes were in Aus dollars. I booked and paid for a Ryanair flight. I received confirmation but I was not able to open an account or find out the status of my booking. I have not received a ticket. The Ryanair reservation number did not exist. The 4 phone calls I made to CheapOair, although answered, were put through to an inactive number. To cut my losses, I have booked another flight directly with the airline. My advice is do not book with this company.

We called because of a misprint on the booking. One of the "n" was missing out of **. The agent said that our good connections were no longer available and we would have to choose from the flights that were left, none of which were much good for us. I kept saying "But it is only a one letter mistake!" He said there was nothing he could do. He assured me that my card would not be run again, but it was!!! I did not have a lot available on that card so now I have a bunch of overdrawn small purchases on the card. I have been using CheapOair for years but this will end it.
