After making reservations for my daughter and her fiance I realized the return trip was on Shabbat which is not acceptable so I immediately called to change the flight. Your service individual was FANTASTIC and provided several options to me and found a flight that would leave on Sunday and they would be able to return to Israel on time before school term began on the 27th.

I wrote a confirmation with Southwest Airlines. Verbally confirmed with the agent but the email was both trips were with American Airlines which I didn't want to have because of the baggage restrictions with American... I would NOT recommend your service to anyone else ever. I enjoyed the service of the agent Alse and thought she followed thru with the needed flight. I have to use it because cancelling cost are hundreds of dollars but it's NOT what I wanted. I feel trapped and stuck in a long flight that will be uncomfortable in many areas. It's my niece's wedding which should be happy, not painful. Wished I'd not called you. Flight was to Boston August 20 on American Airlines AND another flight June 4 to Kansas city on American. I wanted one to be with Southwest but didn't happen. Thanks but next time I'll go elsewhere. This will be put this on facebook.

This company is based out of India from what I am gathering and while typing this for the second time calling have been waiting on the phone for 31 minutes and counting after speaking to a representative that said he was transferring me to a supervisor. The customer service is POOR at best with rude customer service agents and extremely long wait times. In addition, I have been waiting for a $410.00 credit to my Visa card that has not credited and getting them to give me a confirmation number for this "so called" credit has resulted in excuses by telling me, "it was processed" or "the system is down to retrieve the confirmation code."
I have had it with this company and now am furious because not only of the wait time at 10:00 p.m. PST but also with the rudeness you receive and the non caring attitude from these representatives. ConsumerAffairs should review this company and place strict US rules with how a travel agency is to handle business to its clients. I need assistance with getting my refund NOW!!! Since I cancelled my reservation I don't have a receipt since they didn't send it via email but when I call they can see it after a long search, or so they say.

I do see that you have the confirmation numbers, because you have listed here, Any information regarding your account, including refund details can be found documented on the 8 digit booking number. As for having an office in India, we have actually 5 offices, headquaters however is in New York right in Manhatten, with office in the UK,. Canada, Mexico, with a sister company in Las Vega, so you can see we have all different back grounds working for our company with almost 5000 employees.

$12.95 refunded mar 27 the next day you called to cancel$86.00 refunded mar 28
$311.59 refund april 2 because refunds are done to the airlines on specific days of the week, and it takes 30-60 days for the airline refund to hit your card, because that charge comes from the airline, and not us. It doesn't work like a store credit, it has an airline accounting firm it goes through first, and then get's sent to that airline to process. It's been 30 days, you should see the remainder any time now.

I called to talk to someone regarding this problem. They gave me the phone number to the billing department. I spoke to billing manager and explained that I was charged twice for the purchase of one airline ticket. He then told me that he saw the problem and that I was going to get the money put back in my account. I also told to call back if I needed to.
Rachel, I hope the agent explained what had transpired and you understood. The original ticket was issued, and later had to be voided out, therefore that first charge will be pending. When the ticket was reissued, that generated another charge which will be reported as the sale, but the first one is an authorization and will drop off and the account will show that credit amount within 3 business day. If you have any other concerns, please contact me back through this site.

My husband bought our tickets and reserve hotel room to Dhaka, Bangladesh thru CheapOair and it was thru my recommendation. I feel it is important that I take responsibility to file this complaint. He called CheapOair to confirm the online purchase, at the same time he request to book the hotel room via that phone call. Customer service was very friendly. Unfortunately I think they screwed up. We request for hotel pick up at the airport, he gladly confirm that the request is done. He took our flight no and our arrival time and even provided my husband the hotel number. We arrived at Dhaka airport and there was no driver from the hotel.
We spend a good 30 minutes trying to call the hotel and searching for hotel tel number because the tel number given to us was wrong. As we do not yet have data sim card we were not able to get online. Dhaka city is a place where internet connection is difficult to find even in the airport. We end up paying for our own transport. Next horror we find ourselves in was the driver could not locate the hotel because the address provided on CheapOair is incomplete. Vital district zone was omitted in the address sent to us.
The driver took us around searching for over an hour!!! This is not the worst, when you are stranded like this in the night in a country where safety is a concern, you fear for your life. The driver got mad, when he couldn't locate the hotel. Finally we manage to get to another hotel and got help from them to get to Ascott Residence. We ended paying double the taxi fare. The customer service also told my husband during booking that Ascott Residence is near the city central, but it turn out it is at least 20 to 30 minutes walking distance.
Seriously I don't think these guys know the place, as a result we have been mislead. When we finally reached the hotel, we were told there was no request for hotel pick up, and the booking is for 1 person, not 2. And we were also told our reservation was from Expedia and not CheapOair. We finally managed to sort everything out with the reception and finally get to our just before midnight.
Another problem we faced with the customer service was the seat reservation on the flight. My husband paid the seat reservation charges. He was not informed that we must go very early 3 hours before flight time to the airport in order to reserve the seat we want. Biman Airline do not have online seat reservation. We only found out when we reach the airport. Isn't this a waste of our money. This is a horrible experience we had with CheapOair, and we lost trust with them immediately.

I wanted to share my recent experience with CheapOair. I first came across this company after reaching out to the airlines for a flight to the Caribbean for me and my family. I was looking for a less-expensive option and came across CheapOair. The representative was very nice and knowledgeable and I ended up booking the flight. When our plans changed and I had to change the week we were traveling, once again, the rep on the phone was helpful in explaining our options. Since the price difference was substantial for making any change to an existing flight, we decided NOT to make the change after all and travel on the originally scheduled dates.
When we arrived at the airport for our flight, that's when the problems started. The airline said that our "flight" took off 5 days earlier and had been changed from CheapOair. We tried to explain that we never made a change nor authorized a change to our flight and the cost to change everything was well over $600. With our flight approaching fast, it took over an hour and half with some amazing assistance from Airline Supervisors to straighten out the mess and get our boarding passes for our flight. We will 100% deal directly with the Airlines moving forward despite the possible additional costs. This service may be an option for some but for us, the price difference is not worth the problems, headaches, and stress we faced.

Be careful when looking for flights, especially on a small screen like a phone or kindle. The website automatically defaults to flexible dates so while you may think they are suggesting the days that you want, look closely. I made that mistake and it cost $1200 to fix $1500 of flights. And the fix cost more than purchasing one-way tickets outright? Which I realized too late. NotsoCheapOair.

The person dealt with the airlines appropriately and accomplished the change that was caused by your computer system not recognizing the letter á instead of a. I had to pay a fee of $50 due to your computer, but the attendant handled it well.

I tried to book our flights to Santiago and each time I tried to make a booking it said that the flights were unavailable for the price mentioned and had doubled, which was a shock. The Cheapoair agents called me. The first one helped with some initial issues. Then the next day another one took over, negotiated with the airline directly and certainly called me about 6 times for further information and help. It was simply incredible. Although we did not get the price we hoped for, we received an absolutely marvelous service from the agents. Each and every one of them was very friendly and helpful. They went far beyond of what one expects of a travel agency. They showed concern and care. What else can we say than: THANK YOU SO MUCH and we continue to recommend you to all our friends! I use CheapOair to book flights for my son to come home to visit. This time, I found that I had to make a change due to a scheduling conflict. As always, the customer service rep was very professional, courteous, and completed my requested change rapidly and efficiently. I bought tickets for Europe. One of the tickets had to be changed. The return date. I called several times. First they told me $ 600, after it was $900, and in the end when they called back was $12.000. So they said to think about and to call back with my decision. I called back to do the change and also to ask what's the breakdown on this price. They refused to tell me. The original price of the ticket was $1300. They guy I spoke to said he had everything documented and we can do the change.
When I called back, first person tells me, "You can't change," and HE hangs up on me. I called right back and the next guy says, it's $1700, and he says, "You called us so many times, this is the final price," and he hangs up. My point is, that this people, who I assume they are somewhere in India, should understand, when you already thousands of $$$, you will call and you expect them to HELP you. It's not like they give you anything for free. I didn't ask for a free ticket. I just asked for options.

Horrible web site and cheap trick customer service. We bought 4 tickets to Orlando for a vacation on CheapOAir. We selected our dates (CheapOAir confirmed we selected correctly) and their web site changed the dates and charged us. We noticed a week later when CheapOAir sent us a confirmation email. We called customer support and the rep advised it happens all the time and they will update the tickets free of charge and call us back. We never received a call back so we called them again today.
Today is a different story. They want an additional $750 to change the flight. The flight was only $1,000 to begin with. Are you kidding me??! So they graciously split the cost and we only owed $350. Before we could discuss it they charged us the $350 and said no refunds. So now we are paying $1,350 for a ticket I can buy direct from the airline for $1,100. Since CheapOAir is unwilling to refund THEIR MISTAKE, I now have to dispute it with the CC company. What a Joke. STAY AWAY!!!

Beware of CheapOAir. CheapOAir quoted us $8222.71, but charged us a total of $13,489.72. A difference of $5267.01. I would never deal with them again. They are friendly, but they keep you on hold forever/refuse to correct their mistakes.

A change in my wife's plans required a change in the return trip date on her ticket. I worked with a Rep from CheapOair who worked hard to find the best option out of several really bad ones. He was able to reduce the total change cost by almost 2/3 of the original price. I am very happy with how my experience went from the first ticket purchase through the change. I reviewed several other sites but CheapOair was by far the best price. I will do business with them again and recommend you do as well.

Got my tickets booked for Amsterdam yesterday at CheapOair. So after an hour I found a huge price difference (about 260$) between my ticket and same fare at other website, so I called customer service and I share my problem with them, but the guy at customer support suddenly start shouting at me and told me that I'm lying about the lower price at other website, I don't understand about the rules, and finally if I don't want the ticket he can cancel it right away! I did canceled my ticket from and got really better offer, and I'm still confused why the guy should open his mouth and tell me I'm a liar??

It was easy to book with CheapOair online. Even when I needed to do some adjustments to my reservations, their customer service was extremely helpful. My only recommendation for CheapOair is to work more on the online chat to be more effective, and to have more customer care reps on line. Overall, I was pleased with the service.

I checked your system at 6am and the flight was $500.00. I decided to wait until I get to work to booked the flight for 3 people. When I got in there the flight was $545 which I was very annoyed with 2 to 3 hrs the price when up. The person who attended to me was very helpful with all my transactions. I thought it was very unfair that within 2-3 hrs the flight went up that much.

I was excited about the low cost of the rates of the tickets. I was a little confused with the flex dates even after I put in the dates I wanted to leave and come back. I've never flown before so I'm sure that's why I was confused. The lady I call to help me with the date change was great! I did have to pay $20 more even though I bought the insurance that's why I gave a 4 instead of a 5 rating. Other than that everything so far has been great. Hopefully the flight will be too since I'm nervous about flying. Thank you for making this part of the experience a good one!

My wife recently used them for a trip to New Zealand. Today, the phone rang. I picked up after 1-2 rings and there was nobody there. I did a reverse lookup on the number and it was CheapOair. Had we not dealt with them recently, we would report them since our name is on the do-not-call list.
Peter, we have a department who calls after your trip to make sure everything was good on your vacation, and to assist you if anything went wrong. At times we do have bad connections when calling outside the US so our apologies if the call didn't connect.

I bought tickets from CheapOair in July 2015 bound for Turkey. March 29th the US State Department issued a warning, saying that US Citizens should not travel to Turkey unless they are required to. On top of that two bombs were set off in Istanbul in Jan, and about 100 tourists overall have been killed in 2016. It is simply not safe to travel there now. With these changes we assumed that we would be able to change our tickets. Not so. Our round trip tickets were 1,299. Now they want over 2,000 for a return trip and they won't let us just the last leg of our already purchased tickets, even if we get to London on our return date on our own. CheapOair, certainly is turning out to be far less cheap than their name implies.

Please don't waste your time with this company. I have the worst experience of my traveling life. I bought 2 tickets to go to Mexico. Pay for them, get confirmation #, fly #, seat #, check my account, see the United airline charging the money out of my account. But SURPRISED 2 HOURS BEFORE I LEAVE THEY SEND EMAIL saying the price change that I have to pay more.
These was my first time using these CheapOair so because my card was charge I thought it was a mistake but when I went to the airline they told me the tickets were just reserved but no purchase then I have to pay more or they can find me other fly for later but more expensive. WELL THIS IS WHAT I THINK. They get advantage of people's necessity. They know most people got 2 weeks vacations so when they get on this situation they don't have other choice then just pay and go and all that you can do is write a review. WELL HOPE THIS HELPS STAY AWAY FROM THEM.

The CheapOair has a so poor reputation. They will significantly increase the price of booked air ticket, just a few hours after the purchase has been successfully completed! Below is my experience with the CheapOair online service. In the afternoon on Mar. 25 2016, I successfully booked three round trip air tickets from IAD (Dulles International Airport) to Beijing in China from CheapOair on Mar. 25 2016 at the price $986 ($896+$90 tax) per person. The booking process went through very smoothly.
However, surprisingly, at 10:52 pm in the same day (after 6 hours I got confirmation email), I received another email stated that "Due to the airline(s) not confirming your booking, we were unable to issue your tickets." I noticed this email in the morning on Mar. 26 and I immediately called CheapOair customer service. During this phone call, I was told because the tickets price went up after I booking so I need to pay extra charges: each ticket cost $1101 ($1011+$90 tax) and insurance also changed from $177 to $199. End up I paid $367 more in total. I really disappointed at the credit of the CheapOair! I don't like to trust the CheapOair anymore!

I tried to book the flight online and as soon as I hit submit button it disappeared and I called to make sure it was booked. Said they could not find it. Rebooked through agent and ended up to be $200.00 more. I added trip in both times. This is what I call bait and switch. I feel I was over charged and will not do that again. I already had the reservations for the hotel so I needed the flight.

I called CheapOair to book a hotel room. I told the first agent what I was calling about. He transferred me to the hotel dept. I was on hold for a long time. I told the next agent what I was calling about. He told me that he would transfer me to the hotel dept. I told him that I had been transferred to the hotel dept., but he said that he wasn't in the hotel department. I was put on hold again. The next agent was in the hotel dept. He helped me get the room I wanted for the nights I wanted. He said they would send me a confirming e-mail within 5 minutes. I hung up, and when the e-mail came it was an ad for reserving hotel rooms, not the confirming e-mail. I called back tonight and was put on hold for 33 minutes. I now have the e-mail I need, but I have little faith in working with CheapOair.

Don't be deceived by their cheap prices. This is a horrible place to book international flights. Worst service I've had in my entire life. My colleague booked 3 tickets on the same flight with the same credit card (using a corporation card). She booked the first one on a separate transaction than the other two. She received confirmation emails for the bookings. Even though she'd already received confirmations for ALL the tickets, she later double checked the credit card and saw that there wasn't a charge for two of the tickets. She called CheapOair and they told her that they had to cancel the 2 tickets because it didn't go through on the card. There had been no warning. No emails. No notifications that they cancelled. Nothing. We checked with our accounting department and they said it was because CheapOair only ran it through for $0 for the two tickets.
Had to change flights on for the return trip and pay an extra $750 for THEIR mistake. We would have gone with someone else, but we were traveling with other people and wanted to be on the same flight to our destination (even though we had to switch flights for the flight back). Horrible, horrible service. I will never use them again. Thank goodness we checked the card or we would have shown up at the airport without a flight. Apparently this happens a lot with them. I can't believe they didn't tell us they cancelled our tickets.

All of the people on the phone at every point was very cordial. However, I was lead to believe that my choices through Spirit Air were very limited for the price I was offered. However, when I arrived at the airport Monday, I discovered that I could return on Wednesday instead of Tuesday. I had gone to Baton Rouge to visit my best friend who is nearing death. I got stuck in Istanbul by when Turkish Airlines canceled my ticket without my knowledge. My parent booked the ticket for me from the U.S. They said the agent was very helpful and kind. They booked me on Delta Airlines Flights. Delta staff were amazing and I finally returned home safely.

I purchased a ticket for my brother from Manila to Quito Ecuador but he was not able to get on his flight as he did not have a transit visa which was required for stopovers in Japan and the US. I called CheapOair and the representative who assisted me was able to cancel the original ticket and reroute the travel through countries that did not require a transit visa. Without his help I don't know what I would have done. I was doing all this while I was on an airplane myself getting ready to take off on my trip. However, he took care of everything. I am so thankful to him. You guys are amazing.

I wish I could give them a -5 rating. I bought a ticket on the phone to fly from San Francisco to Sao Paulo to attend a very important business meeting. While on the phone they run my credit card, got approved, got confirmation email, got confirmation code, got everything, even a reminder on the day of the travel with my "travel details."
I went to the airport the day of the flight to find out THEY NEVER PURCHASED MY TICKET, so I couldn't fly. I missed my flight and of course I call "Customer Service" or better said "Customer Fighting Department." They said they "couldn't verify the credit card details." I later confirmed this with my credit card -- they never even tried to charge the credit card. I fought with them for 2 hours on the phone. Everybody I talked to said something different. None of them even mentioned the word "APOLOGY." In fact, they made me feel like it was my fault.
They wouldn't even offer me the same return flight I had purchased in the first place, even though while we were on the phone I could see it was still available for purchase. I ended up HAVING TO PAY for a return ticket I didn't want, having 3 stops instead of 1, taking a 20 hrs flight instead of 13, missed my business meeting in Sao Paulo, and got back in a return flight that made me miss other very serious arrangements I had previously organized. The funny part is that they made it look like I made a change to my booking (same booking number) and when I got the confirmation email with the "amended details" the email looked exactly the same as the original, and of course they run the credit card payment on the phone as well. IRONIC!
This is BY FAR the worst company out there, not just in terms of the service they offer but also their customer service representatives. They don't even know what they say. Don't even waste your time asking to talk to supervisors or managers because they are even worse. (I have the names of the two people I talked to.) I sent an email requesting a recording of the call at the time of purchase. It's been 10 days since my email and nobody has written back to me.
It seems that whoever is in that department was trained by the same person that trained all the other representatives. I will seek for legal help. Companies don't have a right to mess up with people's lives and time like this. (I later realized there are other people that has suffered exactly the same problem.) It would be different if we were talking about buying an item, but flying?? You can't play with people's lives CHEAPoair.

My daughter chose your company thinking it would be the cheapest. By the time all the extra charges were added, it was far from it. I selected seats but when I called later to make a correction to the reservation (which by the way was very well handled) I was told my seats were not confirmed and was walked through the process. Later I found that the seats were in fact confirmed and one seat with a $21 up-charge (booked during the second selection) was not necessary. The people I spoke to or chatted with all tried to be helpful and were quite patient. But the process was confusing and the seating issue was especially upsetting.

They apparently are a complete con game outfit. I phoned for my tickets and when I received my online billing there were charges never mentioned during the billing. I then called back and after a heated discussion they removed the charges only to tack on new ones. I was offered discount coupons which I refused. Never again.

This is with regards to the calls that I made to your company when I wanted to book a ticket from JFK to London (Heathrow). I am not a regular traveller but whenever I plan to travel I look for the cheapest options on different websites. While searching, I got the cheapest option on your website www.cheapoair.com and I called 1-888-516-3050 and spoke to Samuell who said that he is from a company called Farebuzz. First of all, I don't know how that call went to that travel agency who offered me a price of $1759.00 for a direct flight with Virgin Atlantic.
I told the guy that I could see a cheaper option online for $1459 and he replied that website fare does not include the taxes and fee. It's been more than 4 days when I spoke to him and that price is still showing as available on your website. He kept saying that price is not available. Which leaves me with a thought that either you are false advertising which is misleading, and in law amounts to a misrepresentation.
If you cannot offer a price of your own website then what is the point of keeping a website which misleads your customers? Your agents could not even speak English properly, I felt as if English was not their first language. They were rude and sounded as if they were not interested in answering the call and don't know why some other company is answering your calls. They said their company is the Parent company and they have taken over CheapOair so it's one and the same thing. Don't care about what connection both companies have but why ripping off your customers?
I then hung up and called again and guess what... The call was again answered by a FareBuzz executive Ashton (sounded Indian with an English name). He took me for a roller coaster ride when he offered me a price of $1849.00 which is even higher than what your 1st agent told me. The 3rd time when I called I finally spoke to CheapOair agent who offered me the price which was exactly the same as your website though he also tried to fool with a higher price. But I could not trust him either because of my initial experience I had and I did not book with him either.
Let me ask bluntly, is your company trying to fool people or is it really a fraud company? This was the 1st time that I contacted CheapOair and I will never try it again and neither will I refer it to someone. Rather I will share my experience on Facebook and Twitter. Please do not take it as a threat or an act to get a compensation. I don't need any compensation and neither should you offer me that. I have already shared my opinion and experience on a couple of websites so that people are aware of how your company fools people. I will also report the matter to the Department of Transport and Better Business Bureau because either your executives are lying or your website is misleading and which needs to be reported. I have booked my ticket through Orbitz where people don't lie and at least they can speak English.

Booked a long distance flight through CheapOair (Casablanca-Hong Kong) using my partner's credit card. THREE DAYS BEFORE FLYING I was about to book the second flight that would connect to this one, when my partner informed me that the money hadn't even left his account. I had already received an email confirmation stating "BOOKING CONFIRMED" completely official, all details just like any regular flight that I book. I went on to the airline's website and used my booking reference along with my last name and couldn't connect.
I called CheapOair, they were not sorry at all. Simply said "Oh your flight isn't confirmed." They said they had sent an email - I verified the email address I had given and my email account (spam, trash, etc) - NOTHING! If my partner didn't check his account I would have arrived to the airport with all my luggage ready to board a flight that I wasn't even booked on! NOT WORTH THE RISK!!!

I was purchasing tickets to go to India. The prices had came up. It had said "If you want it at this cheap price you must call." I went ahead and called. The lady said I could cancel within 24 hours with no charge. Turns out I did call the next day to cancel they had charged my account. I then called the airline they had gave me which was Delta. When I called Delta they told me I would have to pay an extra 900 dollars. After, speaking with Delta they had said to never book airline tickets through CheapOair. This was a extremely bad experience. I do not recommend CheapOair. They refunded the money that I had paid for the tickets but they had still charged my account for canceling even when it was within the 24 hour window.

I have been in contact with CheapOair since April 1st and it has been nothing but a nightmare. I was notified that my flight to Rio from Miami had been changed from a 12 hour travel day to 22 hours. I contact CheapOair to see what alternatives there were and they stated that there were no flights the day before or the day after. Therefore, I requested to have a full refund because I physically cannot fly 22 hours and was getting in 10 hours later than scheduled, affecting my travel accommodations when I land in Rio. While contacting CheapOair I was hung up on twice by the same representative while I was in mid sentence. Mind you, I was already on hold for over 30 minutes, waiting to talk to someone.
CheapOair stated that they needed to contact the airline to see if they would be able to refund me. This was in early April. They stated that they would call me within 24-48 hours. They never called me back. I called them back and they stated that the airline had not gotten back to them and that they would reach out to them again and that they would call me back in 24-48 hours. Well, guess what, CheapOair never called me back. Every time I call CheapOair I'm on hold and then have to explain my situation over and over again. I started keeping track of who I was speaking to because every time I called, I would speak to someone new and would have to explain again what was going on. Finally, I stated to CheapOair that they needed to refund me the money because the airline could not.
I had spoken to Brian, a supervisor on Monday, April 11th and he stated he needed to look into the issue and would call me back in 2 hours. I never received a call back from Brian of course. So I called on Wednesday, April 13, and asked for Brian. Representative Sincer talked to Brian stating that in fact I would be getting a refund of my ticket price $359.59. He stated that I would be getting this back on the card that I booked with and that I would have it within 1-2 business days. My travel companion called CheapOair to discuss her refund situation and when she gave them my booking# they stated that I was not issued a refund.
My travel companion advised them to call me to notify me of this because that is not what I was told over the phone. I never received a call so therefore I called them. I spoke to Brian, after being on hold for 50 minutes, and he stated that I would not be getting a refund because it was denied by the airlines. I asked why would the representative then told me yesterday I would be getting a refund and he said he was not sure. I asked to speak to Brian's representative and Dunken was who I spoke with. Dunken stated that he would need to reach out to the quality team to listen to the recorded conversation had with Sincer and that would not be until tomorrow because the department was closed. There should be no reason I should have to go through this many people to get my ticket refunded.
As stated, there were no other flight options offered and I did not book a ticket to fly 22 hours. CheapOair needs to refund me my $359.59 that was promised to me. I had purposed another ticket on Tuesday, once I had been told I was being refunded. Now I have spent more money on another flight when I would have never booked this ticket in the first place if I wasn't being refunded. This is an awful company that I will NEVER use again. None of the representatives I have spoken to have been sincere. CheapOair gives you the ring around, stating they need to contact so and so and then they will call you back but never do. They do this in the effort that you will give up and they will keep your money. This company should not be in service!

I booked with CheapOair my tickets to Athens at the rate I saw on the screen, same itinerary, etc. This was perfect. Although, previously I had canceled a flight to Athens because I saw rates and flights available online and every time I tried to buy it the system failed for whatever reason (not my fault) and the tickets and rates were not available anymore online. When this happened I received a call from a representative and I finally bought the tickets but not on the dates I wanted. I was told that was the only option, I almost understood like take it or leave it.
With my tickets on hand (dates I didn't like) I continue receiving warnings from CheapOair offering what I was told was not available. I decided to cancel my tickets when I looked into Momondo website the price and dates I was looking for. As a last chance I decided to call a CheapOair agent on the phone to get the tickets I finally got and I am satisfied with the final result; although, I had a very bad time in the process.
I believe if I would've given up in the middle of the process I should've ended with tickets I didn't want and, what is worse, without the tickets shown on the screen. I consider this is the fraud on the process, you select an option online and at the end of the process the system fails and you are then offered another option not necessarily equivalent to what one thought you were buying.
Rafael, fares changes constantly and at times there is a delay in updating the availability and pricing. That comes directly from the airlines, therefore we rely on them to provide the most upto date information, at times there can be a delay. I'm glad however, that you were able to find something that worked for you.

CheapOair gave me good notification of a rescheduled flight on a 2 leg connection Kunming/Shanghai/Toronto. They notified me almost 4 weeks before the flight. I did not accept the flight alternative and sent my reply accordingly. I asked for more options but they didn't reply. I then resent my request to cheapoair.ca, cheapoair.com and China Eastern of which I only received auto reply.
Calling is not an easy solution with a 12 hr time difference and when I did finally get through... I was put on hold until my sim card expired. Your 1 800 number could not connect me to the right department. Several emails again... no reply. After 2 weeks of frustration and no replies I was able to Skype and talked to someone to resolve my issue. I was supposed to get hotel information from China Eastern and Cheapoair but it never came. I did 2 live chats with Cheapoair but nothing resolved. Finally went to China Eastern office in Kunming China to get some resolve and confirmation. This was way too much effort on my part to resolve this issue that Cheapoair should have done.

Following booking with CheapOair, our booking was cancelled without any notification to us. We received a booking confirmation from you clearly detailing the date and the amount charged to my card. Upon arrival at the airport, we were told by the check-in staff that our tickets had been cancelled and that there was nothing they could do, as the tickets were cancelled by CheapoAir. No cancellation email, phone call or any other form of communication was sent by CheapoAir to inform us that you had cancelled our tickets. When speaking to customer services, we were told that the credit card payment had failed due to credit card decline.
I called my bank, they confirmed to me that no attempt was made by CheapoAir, or anyone else to take a payment of $** on Thu, Dec 17, 2015. Despite this, your confirmation email states: Charged on Thu, Dec 17, 2015. We were forced to spend Christmas Eve in Bangkok Airport, miss my fiance's reunion Christmas dinner, and book an extremely expensive alternative ticket due to your unexpected and unnotified booking cancellation. Our Christmas has been ruined, and my fiance is constantly in tears due to missing her final chance to reunite with her one of her older relatives and introduce me to him. After trying to converse with your customer service staff via email, I simply got promises of a detailed explanation, until the advisor simply starting ignoring my emails.
My questions to your company are as follows: 1) Why have your advisers stated that you tried to take the payment, but when confirming with my bank they state that no payment has been attempted? My bank always notifies me of any blocked payment due to security, and I have confirmed that there was enough money in the account for the payment to clear. 2) Why would you issue a booking confirmation, stating "Charged on Thu, Dec 17, 2015" when no payment has been made and the booking has been cancelled? 3) Why was no cancellation email, or any other kind of communication, sent to us to inform us that our flights had been cancelled? 4) What will CheapoAir be doing to rectify this huge problem? Our Christmas has been ruined and we are hundreds of dollars out of pocket due to your (in) actions. 5) Why did your customer service staff simply ignore a huge failing in your services?

I bought a first flight air ticket. I found out it didn't include luggage nor meals. One has to laugh! After spending an hour speaking with a Cheap 'n' nasty operator and hearing things like, "the cancellation fee for this booking is... [snip]". We departed Thursday April 7th which was the beginning of one of the worst travel experiences we have ever had. The Flight out of HTFD was delayed as the plane was not there for well over a hour. We never received any info that this was the case. When we did get on board the flight was very rough. We then arrived in Newark and had to sit separate as there weren't two seats together.
On the return flight Sunday April 10th our departure was scheduled for 7:50 AM. We returned our rental car to Washington National and proceeded to the ticket counter for assignments. We were told we were at the wrong Airport! They said that we were scheduled to fly out of Dulles. We had to take a cab costing us 80.00 dollars. Then of course missed the flight and were rescheduled for the 12:30 PM flight. We then missed the subsequent flight by one person as it was overbooked.
I did try to call CheapOair for help. The person that I talked to was arrogant, had a heavy dialect and provided no solutions. United put us on the 5:30 Flight which was almost 12 hours after our original scheduled departure. This was very stressful and cost us a lot of additional money as well as inconvenience! I am requesting a full refund. I've never even heard of Dulles let alone booked a flight out of it. I will also be contacting American Express to seek their assistance and file a complaint for reimbursement if this matter is not resolved...

I did call to make my reservations agent Zelda, Reservations were successful but I was a little agitated that the agents English was terrible and she had to keep repeating herself to me as I also had to repeat what I was saying to her. The communication back and forth was rotten. She misspelled one of the travelers' last name and I had to call back to get it corrected which was a process in itself. Everyone I talked to kept giving me the wrong phone number for help in doing so the process took me 4 phone calls and a lot of waiting to get to customer service.

I buy lot of air tickets but CheapOair is worse ticket provider ever. They are not professional and they don't know what they are doing. I booked mine and my son ticket 6 months before I fly. After 3 months they did some changes in ticket and sent me email to call them. I called them and they confirmed mine and my son ticket.
I called them 2 weeks before I fly and I found they confirmed mine ticket but didn't confirmed my son ticket. I was calling them every day to make sure they confirm my son ticket as well. Every time they confirm, my son ticket is ok and can fly but when I call Jet Airways they say my son ticket is not confirmed. I was calling every day to CheapOair to sort this out but CheapOair seems not bother. After spending 40 hours on phone with CheapOair finally they confirmed both tickets (8 hours before I fly).
I wanted to change my return date and CheapOair want $1000 (original ticket cost $1200) to change the return date. I checked with other travel agent, he said they will charge me $150 to change the return date but CheapOair locked this ticket. So they can't change return date. DON'T ever buy ticket from CheapOair.CheapOair call center is in INDIA, once you purchase your ticket from CheapOair and you want to change your ticket they will charge you more than other agents. They also lock your air ticket so no one else able to change this ticket.

Travel insurance (presentation on site) is 'misleading'. If you get the plan it still does not guarantee a refund unlike other travel sites. The PROCESS to cancellation and phone service is below poor (minus one). Seriously, they give you another number where you have to call travel insurance company to see if you QUALIFY for their reimbursement even though you purchased it. Then you have to call back CheapOair.com to request cancellation confirmation # but you to wait on a unique OTP passcode they must email you. Then you to pay additional cancellation fee and make sure that is included in cancellation email.
Oh was it mentioned they also charge you hidden booking fees that an run over $50 and other costs, which basically does not make your flight cheap! Seriously. Suggestion: Running back to Travelocity.com - at least they have self-service cancellation online within 24 hours even without travel protection plan and no hidden fees and rabbit trails. Not again.

I realized the morning after I booked my flight I had incorrectly spelled my last name by ONE letter. I tried to correct it online 4 times. I continued to get an error message. My friends and I book a flight with CheapOair only to realize that they charged us $150 per person since the actual flight cost through the airline was $1,057. Not only they charged us an extra fee when I call to find out why I had a random $300 charge on my credit card they told me it's because they couldn't do the payment in one transaction but failed to mentioned that the $300 a fee to CheapOair and the actual cost of the ticket was later charge on my credit card by the airline company. I called them but still waiting to get a call back from the manager to discuss the situation.

Improper billing / overcharge: We were promised that CheapOair would honor original (authorized and emailed) charge; we were given changed automated (flex dates) itinerary change without requesting this date change, losing 2 days. Agent called us, and we booked alternate date under duress. We called back next day to correct date change. Although the promise was that CheapOair would honor the original price and a similar itinerary, or we would cancel, nonetheless, we were given a new itinerary, and then charged a service fee / penalty of $40.
We paid for seat selection (window), and were promised next day response which never came. The process was very convoluted, with 3 calls to CheapOair. We were told that we would have to call the airlines directly. We do not pay the extra surcharge to CheapOair to do the work ourselves! We expect window seat selection (preferably bulk head or emergency).
Bookings / existing itinerary office could not issue us the correct merchant-driven receipt (with the correct amount charged) due to a "technical computer-driven glitch." This is the law, for tax purposes. We were told that we should use the credit card record, but this is not accrual accounting, and is not accepted by Revenue Canada. The merchant is legally obligated to issue a correct/accurate receipt. Thank you.

I tried to book a one-way ticket home for one of my employees. The great price grew by $200.00 before I could even finish online booking - said NO WAY. They called me. Gave another great rate so I gave them my credit info. By the next day still couldn't use the confirmation #. Spoke with them 4 times. They weren't sure. On the 5th try woman stated the ticket had gone up $200.00. Can you believe it? They never planned on honoring their first thrown out number. WASTED SO MUCH TIME. DON'T DO THE SAME.

We booked a flight/hotel/car package to Charlotte, NC on 12/31/2015 and reconfirmed on 3/24/2016. The booking was fine--although no different from what two others booking services offered. When we arrived in Charlotte on 4/1/2016 the hotel and car had been cancelled and we had to pay to re-rent both. When we called CheapOair we were put on hold for 20 minutes, transferred, put on hold for 25 minutes more, then the call was disconnected. I called again, waited 25 minutes, before finally giving up. I called yet again the next morning (trying two different phone numbers listed on the website) and was transferred again.
I've traveled millions of miles over 40 years across six continents and stayed in hotels ranging from 5-star-plus to grass huts. I've used several different booking services and have never had a similar experience. Not just one thing went wrong, but at least three (hotel, car, phone to CheapOair to correct the problem). I've yet to receive an explanation or correction and we're still out the extra costs for the hotel and car. You tell me why I should ever again use CheapOair.

I had booked my flight last minute on Tuesday evening regarding a funeral overseas. I was notified early Thursday morning that I had to contact the agency to verify my payment, this was a little concerning as I had already assumed it went through (as it always has whenever I book my flights, which I do frequently). I called and was put on hold for an hour and then hung up on. I called back again and was on hold for half an hour, someone answered and I told them how urgent my situation was and they put me back on hold without even telling me, then I was on hold for an additional 30 minutes, and the phone disconnected again. In total I wasted 2 hours on hold and it was now around 2:30 pm and my flight was departing at 5:25pm.
I called back panicking, reasonably so, and the customer service rep called the other department directly. I was on hold for about 15 minutes and someone answered finally, and I was now being told that the payment had never been received! Had I known this I would have booked another flight on Wednesday or Thursday morning and unfortunately now it was too late as we had to leave Winnipeg by 5:25 pm Thursday night to make the other connecting flight to get overseas in time for the funeral. I was transferred to that department again and the person assured that they would answer, and miraculously they did. My payment was confirmed around 3:30pm, 2 hours before departure!
We were now told at the time that we had to pay a late booking fee of $600, which was absolutely unfair but we literally had no time to dispute this at the moment. I received the e-tickets close to 4pm and they rushed out the door to the airport and barely made the flight in time. I can't begin to explain the amount of stress/anxiety this agency has caused us ON TOP of the passing of our family member. This was an unnecessary hassle, and the treatment was poor, no one took an urgency to myself mentioning that the flight was leaving in a few hours and we had no tickets, I was simply told I had to wait on hold, as any other person who was calling regarding flights in the coming weeks??
Due to this service received, it got to the point where it became an last minute booking and we are somehow responsible for this fee after all of this? Now, checking my AMEX I was also told this fee was $600 but I was charged more than that. How can you treat a customer like this? This has been an awful experience and I would simply like to reach management that can resolve this issue responsibly, but that in itself is hard as no one has that contact info at this agency. We ended up paying more than we would have had. We booked through an airline directly and would have saved all this additional stress and grief caused by CheapOair.

Dwayne, prices change constantly as the inventory get's sold out. Not only us, but all other travel sites, including the airline are all pulling from the same inventory, so once the seats are sold out at a particular fare, the price increases to the next available fare. Sorry for the inconvenience.

After a miserable break-up with my ex and a dream vacation to the Bahamas, shattered, I reached out to "Cheapo" in order to try and make something positive out of the worst time in my life... When I called Cheap ** today in order to try and use my so called "credit" in order to see my grandfather (who is currently dying of congestive heart failure)... He will be 85 in June but we doubt that he will make it until his birthday on June 2nd... They told me that I misheard what their employee told me. I understood him to mean that I must BOOK my airfare by a certain date when in fact, I was required to book AND complete travel by the date provided. I requested to go up and up the totem pole in order to find ANY silver lining... alas, they offered NOTHING. I will NEVER EVER book through a cheap a$$ company. I urge you, DO NOT book with anyone OTHER than the airline, it is not worth the grief or heartache!!!

I booked an itinerary with CheapOair 6 months in advance for a trip to Portugal. I selected the flights based on actual travel time of 15.5 hrs NOT ON COST. I was willing to pay more to get the convenience. One month later CheapOair advised me of a schedule change which now involved a 14 1/2 hour layover, making the trip almost 30 hours. I refused this change and they offered me another one, now making the journey 27 hours, leaving a day earlier and going via the Azores. I am not accepting this itinerary either. It is not what I was offered and paid for. CheapOair is unwilling to refund money or offer a suitable change. The customer service has been horrible.

Coordinating getting me to CA, organizing another flight for all three of us, flying out of San Diego to Alabama, then their return to San Diego, and mine back to Seattle. I received an email that I was double charged upon booking my ticket. I called my credit card company and I was more than double billed. I was charged a total of $2865.10 for a $1100 ticket. Sat on hold for 55 minutes before being disconnected. Wish I had read reviews previous to booking with them. This is a reoccurring issue. I had an hour long call with one representative to make the flight arrangements. He was extremely helpful and courteous. However, in return for a $30 fee, he supposedly secured seat assignments for me for each of 2 domestic and 2 international flight segments. The booking confirmation, however, showed only one domestic flight segment seat assignment. I was supposed to receive a follow-up call from a different department, which never came.
Later in the day I had a chat session with a representative who advises that CheapOair could not make the seat assignments, and I'd have to contact the airlines directly. I subsequently contacted both relevant airlines, and after a call and online work was able to secure seat assignments. I was able to confirm that there were no assignments ever made, except for the one domestic segment. I then had another chat session with CheapOair to explain the situation. The representative graciously, and appropriately, made arrangements for me to be refunded the $30 seat assignment fee since I'd have to secure the assignments myself. I assume the refund will post to my credit card in a few weeks as notified. Bottom line: Eventually I should get my fee back, but it required 2 chat sessions, and about 45 minutes to an hour (counting wait time) to get to that point.

I booked a flight to Beijing for Mar 28,2016 thru CheapOair online for 485 dollars. But when I check in at the counter, I figured out my passport was left at home. It won't be time enough to go back and return to the airport. So I called CheapOair to help me to change my booking. They charged me 435 dollars for changing it to April 1. Later on I found out that the Airline only charged me 235 dollars and the another 200 dollars was charged by Cheapoair. I think this is so ridiculous and dishonest. To pay 200 dollars for an Booking Agent just to change the date. I will never use CheapOair again and warn other consumers to be careful with them.

After traveling from Okinawa to Korea, with a late flight, baggage needing to be retrieved at customs instead of being routed to the USA which was the final destination, Korean Airlines counters closing 1 hour before the flight so nobody could check in, then even the back office would not assist in assisting and needless to say the flight was missed. After 4 hours of calls from the US to CheapOair and Korean Airlines, a rescheduled flight for 24 hours later was scheduled. I requested a refund of the return flight as I would not fly through Korea again. Two months later and calls to Korean Airlines and CheapOair and still not refunds. Both state to contact the other and it goes on and on. Never will use again.

We needed to add one day to our scheduled flight. Your agent accomplished this and it cost us an additional $768.40 which I thought was rather excessive being we had purchased your travel protection plan. But when the AIRLINE TICKET NUMBER & CONFIRMATION came, it had the old dates on it. Panic. I called the next day to fix it. The operator said no problem--the record just needed to be updated. I booked my flight from New Orleans to Evansville, IN. After receiving my email confirmation I noticed it had changed the airport to Baton Rouge, which is a couple of hours from us (below it said something about being switched to a closer airport but still had me flying back into New Orleans? New Orleans is 30 mins from me and I clearly would have NEVER chosen to fly out of Baton Rouge). This made no sense to me. SO, I called back to tell them somehow the departing airport was changed to Baton Rouge which he kindly said could be fixed, first for $28 but in the end was only $9. OK, so now we wake up this morning to see that our debit card was hit TWICE and overdrawn our account. We were told this is very common and that we could expect our money back in 7-14 days! THANKS CHEAPOAIR FOR MAKING MY LIFE AWESOME... NOT! I WILL NEVER USE CHEAPOAIR AGAIN, nor will anyone in my family!

I would suggest to any friend, family member or future consumer to NOT use this website to book any travel plans. I booked an airline for travel. Called to inquire about a possible travel date change & price. While speaking with the agent before I officially confirmed ANY change I was disconnected. The agent changed the flight without a confirmation and charged my credit card. Customer service was poor. I asked to speak with a supervisor and I was placed on hold for 45 minutes only to be told they would listen to the recording & have someone call me within 24 hours. A representative never called. I had to pay an additional amount to correct the unauthorized change back to the original travel dates. I am a professional in a customer service industry and would never consider arguing with a customer or not following up with.

I paid for a return flight for my girlfriend from Ukraine to Thailand. She cannot return on the date on the ticket for work reasons, so I tried to change her return for 7 days earlier. When I called it was going to cost me $80.00 US to change, so I contacted her and asked her if this was ok. She said yes, so 2 days later I rang to change the return flight. I was now told it would be a cost of $113.00 US to change, and an additional $400.00 US for the difference in the ticket??? How does this change in 2 days???
If people are thinking about booking through Cheapoair they need to read your fare rules properly. I will never book again with you as you do not want to help. If you have already paid them, instead you just want more. I then tried to cancel the flight but if I did I lose all money paid. YOU DO NOT GET ANY REFUND, so tough luck, pay the change or lose your money. That's how Cheapoair treat you. So I will not cancel my ticket because I don't want to lose the money I have paid.
So I will never book again through you, "EVER". I recommend anyone doing so to read your fare rules first because if you want to change any of the flight information you will just receive a "tough luck" response instead of someone talking nice to you and helping (good customer care). First time I use CheapOair and the last. My son is an English teacher in Vietnam. He traveled to Ethiopia and asked me to help him to get him back to Thailand. I purchase a flight through CheapOair with my Visa. They booked the flight but did not get the payment. They told me I needed to contact my bank. I did and the bank said everything was okay. When I called CheapOair to confirm the flight and that the bank said all was good with them, CheapOair told me the flight was now $100.00 dollars more. WHAT!!! I told them I had booked this flight three days ago and there was never any problem with the bank. Why they did not credit the bank three days ago was not my problem. I was so upset. They gave me a credit of $70.00. I didn't want to leave my son stranded so I paid the $30.00 dollars. Talking about taking advantage.

I was not offered the $50 coupon for enhanced seat assignment by the representative I spoke with. He also did not know if SAA was associated with any other airlines. Said I would have to call the airline directly. He had no contact phone number. SAA is part of Star Alliance, I don't think that it would be too difficult to look up the info. We had to cancel our trip due to my husband's health, being that he was hospitalized prior to our trip date but recuperating and still under the care of his physician. Trip Mate (the travel insurance CheapOair uses) has denied our claims due to the fact that "he has a pre-existing condition". Be careful people!!! If you have a condition that flares up or worsens prior to your travel, that is all they need to deny your claim. CheapOair doesn't care what they are recommending for travel insurers. They just want to make the sale! There's a reason they are cheap. They're probably getting a kick back from Trip Mate!!! CheapOair charged 25.00 per ticket to cancel the flights stating that that was recoverable from Trip Mate. It is not. They will do or say anything to make the sale. I will never use them again. Use an independent travel insurance company that says they will pay for "any reason for cancellation".

Yesterday, I had to change a ticket I had with CheapOair because of family matters in the US. I was helped. I felt very well by the agent yesterday morning (3/21) and responded to indoor survey yesterday. Then I looked into the itinerary and found that the time between flights, which required an airport change was woefully inadequate. I called back in 5 hours and changed the itinerary to give me time to get from VCP to GRU, necessitating a long layover for another $100. Same airline, just earlier flight on same day. Why they can't just send you to one airport, as has been the case in all my travels is beyond me. Then this morning I saw that CheapOair charged me twice for the change ($1097) which locked my bank access.
I called and was told to call later, which I did and the billing agent said that it was a mere formality and that tomorrow I would get the money back. In the meantime, I cannot use my money to make further arrangements for the changed trips. This is uncalled for, unnecessary, and did not happen when I made my first CheapOair ticket to Cuenca, Ecuador. This no mere formality and I feel that CheapOair owes me some money for this disaster, an over 24-hour flight and needs to become acquainted to the reality of the flights they are suggesting. The fact I have to wait for both a refund from my first changed ticket and now the second one does not install confidence.
If this is not resolved immediately, I will definitely let my friends and families about how you do business. I wish I did not have to write this but hope it really does help your company to change the way it does business. Do right by your customers, give them accurate information, do not offer contorted flights and do not charge twice for some bizarre billing reasons. It is all a nightmare for future customers.

Literally the worst experience with their incompetent customer support which seems to be based in India as every person I spoke to was Indian and I could not understand a word they were saying. I booked a vacation for my family and myself and they stuck me on Spirit Airlines, which apparently do charge you 40$ for a carry-on bag (none are included in the price) and I was not told this before buying the package or I would have taken a different flight. I spoke to someone who had no idea what they were doing and asked for a supervisor. I was transferred to billing (not what I wanted) and from there after being on hold sent over to (I think) the original person I spoke to who was just as incompetent as before. I asked for a supervisor again and have been on hold for over an hour straight before they decided to hang up on me (and although they took a callback number, they never called me back).
DO NOT use this website as it has THE WORST customer (lack of) support I have ever experienced. I never write reviews online but this company has been so terrible in my need to sort my issue out that I hope even one person will read this and go somewhere else. Honestly I usually read reviews and when there are glowingly bad reviews such as this I dismiss them, but every once in awhile they are absolutely accurate. If you do chose to use this company, make sure you are not using Spirit Airlines since checking a bag or a carry-on is about $40 if you pay online for it and if you didn't know about this price and went to the airport and tried going on the plane with a carry-on, you would be charged $100. This is not an exaggeration, it lists it on Spirit Airlines' website. This is the worst company I have ever had an interaction with and I cannot convey how truly awful they are.

Really appreciated the customer service. He went above and beyond to make sure all our flights were correct. We spend over an hour and half on the phone and he was always pleasant and truly wanted to make sure our flights were exactly what we wanted.

Please note that this is my first time using CheapOair, and I must say that I was absolutely and completely satisfied with my experience of Customer Service and Care with Chase as my Representative. He was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to help me with my scheduling travel plans, and presented me with such wonderful options for my specific needs as a person which just underwent knee replacement surgery. Thanks a million... I will use this company again!!!

I have purchased 3 to tickets from CheapOair from Chicago to Hyderabad (India) round trip from CheapOair by providing complete details with Name and age. But while returning from Hyderabad to Chicago the airlines (Air India) rejected one of the Infant ticket due to she has crossed 2 years and when we asked for to convert to kid ticket they rejected and cancelled all 3 tickets and asked us to contact your agent and then when I contacted the CheapOair they said "we will send a request to airlines and will take and process your refund". But as of now I have not got any update and when I make a call they still telling me the same story. It's been 6 months and it's lot of money too. I have the documents too.
This has been handled internally, case was from last year August.

Called 2 times after I received my flight information. My last name was misspelled. Never received call back to correct last name change as told. Still WAITING!!!
