I did not get the full discount as stated using the discount code provided so I called. I got excellent help by calling. What really makes me mad is how the people get screwed by the airline rates. They double the rates just because it is a holiday weekend, not because gas prices have gone up. I made the same flight 2 months ago for half the price. The airlines make a ton more money just on the shear volume of travelers. They are greedy and have to jack up the fees too?

This company is a scam. Once you complete the transaction, the seats are not assigned. One has to call. The customer service support is terrible. It takes over 30 minutes to get a response. It is obviously outsourced to India or Pakistan. The operators are rude, and hard to understand. Then you're billed extra for your seats and when the passenger checks in, the airline does not recognize your seat assignment, saying that no payment has been made by Cheapoair. When calling its customer service number, they claim that the "system doesn't work, so call later." I travel internationally monthly. This never happened with Expedia, Priceline, etc. So my advice, stay away from Cheapoair.

Please read this before you make a business deal with CheapOair.com. CheapOair charged my account for $533.00 for a fee in order to change my flight destination. The next day I arrived at airport in Frankfurt and found out the Lufthansa airlines did not have an electronic ticket for me which should have been issued by CheapOair. So Lufthansa charged me another $598.60 for issuing me a ticket that should have been done by CheapOair. I have contact CheapOair several times. They are hiding in some shop in India and make promises that they will issue me a refund but to date they have not. Do NOT buy any tickets from these guys in INDIA.

CUSTOMER SUPPORT SERVICE IS VERY VERY POORLY MANAGED. They have no knowledge how to claim the reward points. The website shows me the reward points but the guys at the customer support either have no knowledge or don't have complete information. And then they put us on hold for long time, which is very irritating. I WILL NEVER GET THE TICKETS FROM CHEAPOAIR.COM.

I purchased two flights with the same dates and time of travel. When I received email confirmation one of the flight's return date was not correct. So I called CheapOair to resolve issue. Not only did they not understand but the woman I spoke with was very sarcastic and combative. She then hung up on me. I called back to hear someone pick up phone and hang up again which was strange but made me furious. I travel a lot and have never experienced this type of customer service in my life.
When I finally got an answer it was a male who then told me that I would have to pay over $500 to change a ticket that was just purchased. Even though the price of ticket hasn't changed. I understand paying the standard change fee. What I don't get is if the flight price hasn't changed then why do I have to pay such an excessive amount for a new flight. It made more sense to buy a new flight online. So strange. Someone told me to try this company because the price was good. But I will NEVER purchase through CheapOair again. They try to take extra and blame it on the actual airlines. Well I called the actual airline and guess what I only had to pay change fee. So be aware!!!

I bought the international ticket as a gift to my aunt. She barely spoke English. I put her name and there was an issue with the spelling. She missed the flight and we had to buy new tickets for her. I called customer service and they said the tickets are in the hands of Qatar Airways. I called Qatar Airways and they asked me to call back CheapOair. I was calling back and forth with no results, and CheapOair finally said they will not honor the missed flight ticket nor would they give me credit for it. Frustrating customer service and unsatisfying service. Since then I started buying tickets from google flight and other websites.

I had originally booked my own flight to Hilton Head for a planned trip and discovered what I had thought was a non-stop flight was actually a multistop flight. When I called customer service Veron answered & he assisted me in finding a fix. During this process, Veron exhibited very good knowledge of the computer system and was able to find other flight options that were a better match for our needs. I was very impressed with Veron's expertise, professionalism & patience. I was so impressed I recommended 6 other friends who were traveling to the same destination to book the same flight as we did & to ask specifically for Veron.

Agent ** assisted in the booking and ticketing for my overseas roundtrip flight with my mother. We decided to call CheapOair's toll-free number because (a.) our return flights were on different dates, and (b.) to ensure that my seat was adjacent to my elderly mother's for the legs of the outgoing flight. ** was able to find the best-priced flights on the dates we provided (we already searched on-line on CheapOair and others' websites) and proceeded to make the bookings. He was polite, well-spoken and professional throughout the calls (we were disconnected and he called back in 30 seconds). It was a very pleasant experience and we would not hesitate to call CheapOair for future bookings, or recommend same to friends and relatives.

I had no problems other than I could not check with Frontier Airlines to print out my boarding pass in MCO. It is difficult to sit straight up for 4 hours and not be able to put the seat back. Are all the air crafts like that now? I had that experience with Spirit Airlines and now with Frontier Airlines. I find that the extra payments for bags and seat is actually more expensive than if I booked a flight with one of the bigger airlines, where these things are free.

CheapO had booked me on a Nice France to Palm Beach Florida Lufthansa trip which, I later discovered, entailed an airport change from JFK airport to Newark airport which I wanted to avoid. Asked the rep if the booking could be altered to consolidate the return either through Newark or JFK without an airport change. Rep was superb. Determined, polite, informed. Made sure to avoid putting me on hold to hold the connection (from Italy to CheapO in the U.S.). Was obviously a complicated and time consuming operation because he needed to also protect our "Economy Plus" status to ensure comfortable seats. He got it done and should be commended.

I tried repeatedly to contact an agent to make a change on the day following my booking. I wasted approximately 2 hours on hold, without ever getting a live person. When I finally did, a day later, I was told that the grace period for changes had expired.

The online booking was terrible and took us into the wrong airport without advising it was an alternative airport. I phoned to cancel the reservation, but your agent, after a great deal of work, got us the flights we needed - still into the alternative airport, but at better times and a decent price.

I called as had some questions before I booked flight about insurance. Had to hang up and call back as first agent I couldn't understand at all. Second one was also very hard and had to tell him twice to slow down on speech so I could understand what he was saying. Also told him I needed to fly certain dates as attending a wedding. Online showed available seats at a cheaper rate but he said those weren't available. Wished I had called Spirit directly as after I booked I looked on Spirit's website and fares were less.

The site I used to make reservations claimed I can change reservations with no problems. It was confusing to me as a senior as to the many departure and arrival times. I booked wrong and called your number the next day and had to PAY $85 EXTRA... This is **! Just an excuse to extract more money, and I asked for aisle seats as I PAID for them on my prior reservation, remains to be seen if I got them. NOT A HAPPY CAMPER RIGHT NOW!

Flight was downsized upon arrival at the airport. Staff members at the airport are attempting to maintain some order, however, the situation just got completely out of control. I was completely dissatisfied with the service and with the results. The line was so long and slow attempting to receive a coupon for a round trip, food and hotel due to the cancellation. I just requested a refund for which all of my Money was not refunded. I will never consider flying this airline or booking a ticket again. Very bad experience!

I have booked many flights online but was disappointed with this site; every time I changed my criteria to hunt for the best flight for me, the information changed, and when I received confirmation, I was booked as male. The other flight changed the date so had to call again. This was an extra $50, so saved no money with Cheapoair.

I need one email to confirm reservation 10 more to sell me stuff I don't want or need (car, hotel, meals). Then try to find the one I need with booking. What joy!!! I booked 2 tickets in amount of $588.26 each ticket, but CHEAPOAIR charged me 6 times of that amount. I tried to resolve this on so many ways - I didn't solved the problem. I sent even my credit card statements and everything but no luck. Called 7-8 times even with a representative of Citibank credit card, and nothing. I spent on the line with them for hours but they don't know what they are doing. So unprofessional. So be aware of CheapOair. I will never travel with them any more for sure. It's a so bad company.

The Saudia website shows an error message saying that the mobile and email contact information is missing. I contacted Saudia help desk, they told me to contact the travel agency (CheapOair) to update the record. I have been in contact with CheapOair and trying to get the contact information and the Delta frequent flyer number added to the reservation but without any success. I have written numerous mails and have made several calls to CheapOair but their agents are clueless. I regret making the booking through CheapOair and should have used their more popular competitors. On CheapOair Chat, I was told to send the information on this mail id. Can you please look into it and update the record as necessary - the information which may need to be updated.

Just spend all morning talking to different agents in this company after incredible long waits on the phone. I booked my airplane tickets since January 15 2016. We are not in May 14, 2016. They have change my itinerary 2 times, giving me ridiculous options. Yesterday for the third time they called me to let me know that the flight going instead of arriving at 5:00 pm, it will arrived at 11:00 pm. Completely unacceptable since I have to travel to another city one hour away at night (the advisory warn strongly not to travel at night).
The last time they change my coming back, instead of arriving my city at 8:00 pm they left me and my family for a layover of more than 12 hours in Mexico City. I accepted although they refuse to pay for the Hotel, thinking that I paid this ticket a little cheaper than normal price. But after all of this changes, If I do not cancel the tickets (the option is take the new ticket or cancel) I would end of paying about $400 in extra expenses for Hotels and cancel reservations which this company refuses to take responsibility at all. Now they are even refusing to cancel the insurance paid for the tickets. This is ridiculous and NEVER, NEVER again will deal with them. Is better to go directly with the airlines. This is a den of thieves. I can go on, and on with documented paperwork on the inefficiency and money hungry this company is. Do not trust your travel plans in their hands. The only good and prompt thing they do is collecting your credit card number to charge.

I have had a TERRIBLE experience with CheapOair so far. When you enter the site the first screen asks where you are coming from, where you are going and then you click roundtrip. Then it list the flights. I selected and paid for a flight only to see that it is returning me to FLO Florence, SC. I live in NC and this airport is over 2 hours drive time away! I never asked for this airport and assumed it was a glitch in the website. So I called customer service, spoke to a gentleman with a very strong accent and heard screen doors closing in the background! He told me he was unable to help get it straightened out but he would escalate it to his supervisor and I would definitely get a return phone call no later than within the next 4 hours from my call. I gave him the number.
It's been over 40 hours now and still no call. This is terrible customer service and unless this is immediately resolved I will see to it that nobody within my entire company ever uses this site again. I have never received such poor service from CheapOair. I never said anything about an airport in Florence, SC! I am very UPSET WITH THIS COMPANY!

I booked my flight from Cheapoair 3 weeks ago which cost me USD645/person and I would like to change my itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances. I had a live chat with 2 of Cheapoair staffs online today and both of them quoted me a different price to make the changes. First staff, ASHER quoted me USD483.50/person and offered me USD100 discount after I complaint the price is too high. He kept pushing me to make the changes on the spot and mentioned the price will gone up very soon.
One hour later, I chatted with second staff, LENA. She quoted me USD390/person and offered me the discounted price of USD325/person. As you can see there is a different of price quoted by both of the staffs. I felt cheated by Cheapoair as they are trying to squeeze your money when you ask for changes/cancellation. Please be aware if you would like to book with Cheapoair unless you are very sure you won't make any changes/cancellation.
Tan, pricing is based on the flight options that are available and different flights can have a different cost in airfare due to the availability. The airline automatically had a change fee of $250.00 per person, the additional cost is the flight option that was provided to you and the 2 agents gave different options. I do see even with the 160.00 fare difference you did not make any changes to the reservation. Airfares are subject to change!

Upon connecting with your website and actually booking a flight I had questions that I could not find the answer to on your site. So I took the liberty to call your 855-464-2101. Your pre-recorded message said "This call will be record to ensure the quality of this call." Ok, so I spoke to one of your representatives where I addressed my concerns and questions. I simply asked him "I am not sure the spelling of my niece's middle name is, do I need to have this information now or can I call you back?" Your representatives response was "No ma'am, you have four hours to call us back and make changes."
So I proceeded with booking the flight and made arrangements and before I gave him my credit card I asked him three times, "Are you sure I don't need her middle name especially if she's a minor and will be traveling alone?" Each time he responded with "No ma'am, it's ok you can call us back." Well after I contact my sister-in-law and asked her for my nieces middle name, I call back. Not 4 hours later, but just 30 mins later! Only to hear the representative tell me that I could not add a middle name and the could not guarantee me that the using the ticket could board if the name on the ticket was not the whole name or same as on the birth certificate. That is not what I was told!
That is why I specifically picked up the phone and called your services directly! Second, I demanded to speak with a supervisor and asked that my call be review and heard so that they knew I was give false information and was baited and switched. A supervisor never came to the phone, I was left on hold for 45 mins without so much as even acknowledgment of me being on the phone. Sure I was able to get a refund but now my money is being tied up and will not see my bank account for 20 days! I will never seek to do business with CheapOair.com again. They are misleading, bait and switch customer services and they will tell you anything to make the sale and deliver nothing. Avoid this site, it will end up costing you more in the long run!

I just booked the air ticket for my family to come Canada for my graduation ceremony. Also, I bought the insurance which insure the free cancellation and other things. These days when I phoned back to cancel the ticket, they want to charge me for $600 for the cancellation, and I cannot get the full refund either. The customer service is bad, and they push me to talk with the insurance company to claim refund, and showed me other conditions that not apply to this booking. Such ridiculous explanations. Please be cautious and aware of their conditions and deals. Some of the ads are misleading and wrong. Never ever will book the ticket on CHEAPOAIR.CA anymore!!!

After spending near 2 hours on the phone and 9 different call transfers still don't know what the status on the reservations that I made. The last I knew was that I was going to receive an email with the flight and ticket confirmation and I'm still waiting for it. Lack of knowledge on some of the client services techs. I even had a hang up because they didn't know how to handle this simple credit card issue. NOT HAPPY WITH THIS EXPERIENCE!!!

I booked a flight back in the beginning of March 2016 to go to the Dominican Republic. I called customer service before I booked (back in March) and explained to them that I had never flown out of the country and that I needed assistance finding out which airport destination I should select. I gave the woman (sounded like a woman) the name of the hotel in Puerto Plata, and she advised me what flight I should take. I thanked her, booked the flight, and that was it.
However, a week ago I found out that ticket was for Punta Cana, the WRONG airport. So, I called to check with customer service. I waited around 15 mins for someone to answer my call. When they finally answered, they asked what I needed and I explained the situation. The man said that the system was down and that I would have to call back in an hour and hung up on me mid-sentence when I asked him if he could write down my phone number and info.
So I just waited until the hour passed and called back. Another man with an accent answered and I explained once again my situation. He said to give him a moment to make the changes. I initially paid $400 for my plane tickets. When he returned from hold, he informed me that I would have to pay an EXTRA $600 and more ("for fees" he said). I explained to the man that this didn't sound right ($400 + $600 + more mentioned fees is absolutely crazy), as I wasn't changing dates, times, or my destination country, just the airport. Also, my flight/trip isn't until August 2016 (over 3 months away).
When I asked him to explain, he got very rude and told me that I needed to look up flights on my own. I asked him (very nicely) if I could please be transferred to a supervisor or manager. He said, quote, "I won't transfer you to my supervisor until you research flight information online and get your facts." I explained to him that I wasn't exactly sure what he wanted me to "research" and to please put me through to his supervisor. He said, quote, "I already told you, I refuse to transfer you until you look up this info on our website. I will not transfer until you look it up. I'm waiting. Let me know when you have looked it up."
So, of course, now I'm angry. I asked if my flight could be canceled and refunded, he said, "No." That's it. Didn't give an explanation or anything, as if I wasn't worth the time. So I told him that if I wasn't put through to a supervisor I would hang up and report him. He chuckled and repeated that he wouldn't put me through until I "looked up my facts". So, I hung up. I tried calling back to speak to another customer rep, but my call was suspiciously disconnected each time. This man was downright mean and rude.
A couple days later, I spoke to 2 more customer representatives, that were actually supervisors. The first one said his name was Deshawn (not sure of spelling, but that's what it sounds like). He called me late at night around 9:30pm, and said that he would try to work something out with the airlines and that he would call me within 24 hours. However, I never heard back from him, so I called again. This time when I asked for a supervisor, they put me right through without any argument. I was transferred to a Sher-wee (again, not sure of spelling, but that's what it sounds like). When I asked for the rude guy's name from the following night, he said they said didn't have that information (which I know isn't true, because they were able to tell me the other supervisor's name).
He also tried to lie and say that I booked my tickets for August 1st (Monday) through August 6th (Saturday). I told him this absolutely wasn't possible (I know for a fact that I DIDN'T book these dates, and have an email to prove it) because my friend's family leaves on the 5th (Friday), and I wouldn't have anywhere to stay. Also, I have to be back to work Friday. I booked the trip from August 1st (Monday) until August 4th (Thursday) because I wanted to make sure I didn't get stranded alone. He kept pushing and saying that I was wrong and that I did book for August 6th, but thankfully I found the email confirming the booking was for August 4th and he finally admitted that he was wrong. He then said that Deshawn (the original supervisor) wasn't in today, and that he would be calling me tomorrow (Wednesday) around 5:30pm. He also told me to call American Airlines.
So after I hung up with him, I did call the airline. I spoke with a woman, and she told me that unfortunately, there is nothing they can do since the booking was through CheapOair. She also told me that this is a tactic they use to get rid of customers on the phone, as there is nothing that the airline can do since the transaction was through CheapOair.
Then, another couple of days later, a woman (Ana, I believe is her name) called me while I was at work and was unable to answer the phone. She left me a voicemail asking me to please contact her. So, as soon as I left work, I called her back. I was put through to an answering machine. I left a message, but haven't heard anything back.
Since they are unable to change my flight without OUTRAGEOUS extra costs, I would like a full refund for my SINGLE ticket, which they are refusing to do. I don't think this is right at all, and they shouldn't be allowed to get away with this stuff. My flight is more than 3 months away (I booked it early in case anything happened) and none of the 3 emails they sent me mentioned anything about being non-refundable. I can send those 3 emails as well.
I've read from other reviews that they have charged credit cards without authorization, changed flights without confirmation, and even the lady at American Airlines didn't have nice things to say about this company. I don't understand how they are graded as A+ at the BBB when they have all these serious complaints against them??? I would advise to STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! I am doing all that I can to alert people to be careful!

I called to correct a booking error that I hadn't noticed until after printing out my itinerary confirmation. I was connected to an agent in less than a minute and the agent corrected the error. She was both helpful and courteous. I called later about a question regarding my car rental and again the agent was helpful and assured me that everything was okay.

Ronald, boarding passes are obtained off the airlines website 24 hours prior to departure. You will log into the airline sites and enter in the airline confirmation number, and proceed from there. You can also obtain them at the airport day of departure.

I had booked ticket and paid by credit card. Next day my business associate told me to cancel the ticket and reschedule after a week. So I did cancel ticket. In few minutes, my business associate asked me to change and come as planned. So I rebook my ticket. Now, I ended up paying twice. I am told it will take 2-3 weeks to refund. I think refund should be immediate in today's technology, why to wait. Please do something.
Dinesh, because there has been a ticket issued, they are all accountable now through an airline accounting system called ARC. So the ticket is reported on our weekly report and sent to this accounting firm, they verify all the tickets issued and determine if the ticket is indeed eligible to be refunded, after that it goes to the airline who verifies the transaction, and the refund comes from them. So there is a check and balance, not like a credit you receive from a store.

I've had a number of dealings with this company recently while I plan a trip to the U.S. with my family. I thought that the site was good and the service people were great. Friendly and efficient. Prices seemed good. One small point, some customers like myself may not necessarily be after the very cheapest price but would prefer to pay more for convenience (time of flights, amount of time between flights, reduce number of stop offs, etc.) so it might be good for your service people to check about that when in conversation. I liked the way that the service people seemed "human" and engaged in nice conversation where appropriate (but we're still highly professional). I was especially impressed by the way that I was able to change one of my bookings the next day once I had given more thought to what I had booked - I was worried I'd be told that I could not do this and was so pleased that I could.

I was attracted to book a flight with you because quotes were in Aus dollars. I booked and paid for a Ryanair flight. I received confirmation but I was not able to open an account or find out the status of my booking. I have not received a ticket. The Ryanair reservation number did not exist. The 4 phone calls I made to CheapOair, although answered, were put through to an inactive number. To cut my losses, I have booked another flight directly with the airline. My advice is do not book with this company.

We called because of a misprint on the booking. One of the "n" was missing out of **. The agent said that our good connections were no longer available and we would have to choose from the flights that were left, none of which were much good for us. I kept saying "But it is only a one letter mistake!" He said there was nothing he could do. He assured me that my card would not be run again, but it was!!! I did not have a lot available on that card so now I have a bunch of overdrawn small purchases on the card. I have been using CheapOair for years but this will end it.

I wrote a confirmation with Southwest Airlines. Verbally confirmed with the agent but the email was both trips were with American Airlines which I didn't want to have because of the baggage restrictions with American... I would NOT recommend your service to anyone else ever. I enjoyed the service of the agent Alse and thought she followed thru with the needed flight. I have to use it because cancelling cost are hundreds of dollars but it's NOT what I wanted. I feel trapped and stuck in a long flight that will be uncomfortable in many areas. This company is based out of India from what I am gathering and while typing this for the second time calling have been waiting on the phone for 31 minutes and counting after speaking to a representative that said he was transferring me to a supervisor. The customer service is POOR at best with rude customer service agents and extremely long wait times. In addition, I have been waiting for a $410.00 credit to my Visa card that has not credited and getting them to give me a confirmation number for this "so called" credit has resulted in excuses by telling me, "it was processed" or "the system is down to retrieve the confirmation code."
I have had it with this company and now am furious because not only of the wait time at 10:00 p.m. PST but also with the rudeness you receive and the non caring attitude from these representatives. ConsumerAffairs should review this company and place strict US rules with how a travel agency is to handle business to its clients. I need assistance with getting my refund NOW!!! Since I cancelled my reservation I don't have a receipt since they didn't send it via email but when I call they can see it after a long search, or so they say.

I called to talk to someone regarding this problem. They gave me the phone number to the billing department. I spoke to billing manager and explained that I was charged twice for the purchase of one airline ticket. He then told me that he saw the problem and that I was going to get the money put back in my account. I also told to call back if I needed to.
Rachel, I hope the agent explained what had transpired and you understood. The original ticket was issued, and later had to be voided out, therefore that first charge will be pending. When the ticket was reissued, that generated another charge which will be reported as the sale, but the first one is an authorization and will drop off and the account will show that credit amount within 3 business day. My husband bought our tickets and reserve hotel room to Dhaka, Bangladesh thru CheapOair and it was thru my recommendation. I feel it is important that I take responsibility to file this complaint. He called CheapOair to confirm the online purchase, at the same time he request to book the hotel room via that phone call. Customer service was very friendly. Unfortunately I think they screwed up. We request for hotel pick up at the airport, he gladly confirm that the request is done. He took our flight no and our arrival time and even provided my husband the hotel number. We arrived at Dhaka airport and there was no driver from the hotel.
We spend a good 30 minutes trying to call the hotel and searching for hotel tel number because the tel number given to us was wrong. As we do not yet have data sim card we were not able to get online. Dhaka city is a place where internet connection is difficult to find even in the airport. We end up paying for our own transport. Next horror we find ourselves in was the driver could not locate the hotel because the address provided on CheapOair is incomplete. Vital district zone was omitted in the address sent to us.
The driver took us around searching for over an hour!!! This is not the worst, when you are stranded like this in the night in a country where safety is a concern, you fear for your life. The driver got mad, when he couldn't locate the hotel. Finally we manage to get to another hotel and got help from them to get to Ascott Residence. We ended paying double the taxi fare. The customer service also told my husband during booking that Ascott Residence is near the city central, but it turn out it is at least 20 to 30 minutes walking distance.
Seriously I don't think these guys know the place, as a result we have been mislead. When we finally reached the hotel, we were told there was no request for hotel pick up, and the booking is for 1 person, not 2. And we were also told our reservation was from Expedia and not CheapOair. We finally managed to sort everything out with the reception and finally get to our just before midnight.
Another problem we faced with the customer service was the seat reservation on the flight. My husband paid the seat reservation charges. He was not informed that we must go very early 3 hours before flight time to the airport in order to reserve the seat we want. Biman Airline do not have online seat reservation. We only found out when we reach the airport. Isn't this a waste of our money. This is a horrible experience we had with CheapOair, and we lost trust with them immediately.

I wanted to share my recent experience with CheapOair. I first came across this company after reaching out to the airlines for a flight to the Caribbean for me and my family. I was looking for a less-expensive option and came across CheapOair. The representative was very nice and knowledgeable and I ended up booking the flight. When our plans changed and I had to change the week we were traveling, once again, the rep on the phone was helpful in explaining our options. Since the price difference was substantial for making any change to an existing flight, we decided NOT to make the change after all and travel on the originally scheduled dates.
When we arrived at the airport for our flight, that's when the problems started. The airline said that our "flight" took off 5 days earlier and had been changed from CheapOair. We tried to explain that we never made a change nor authorized a change to our flight and the cost to change everything was well over $600. With our flight approaching fast, it took over an hour and half with some amazing assistance from Airline Supervisors to straighten out the mess and get our boarding passes for our flight. We will 100% deal directly with the Airlines moving forward despite the possible additional costs. This service may be an option for some but for us, the price difference is not worth the problems, headaches, and stress we faced.

Be careful when looking for flights, especially on a small screen like a phone or kindle. The website automatically defaults to flexible dates so while you may think they are suggesting the days that you want, look closely. I made that mistake and it cost $1200 to fix $1500 of flights. And the fix cost more than purchasing one-way tickets outright? Which I realized too late. NotsoCheapOair.

I tried to book our flights to Santiago and each time I tried to make a booking it said that the flights were unavailable for the price mentioned and had doubled, which was a shock. The Cheapoair agents called me. The first one helped with some initial issues. Then the next day another one took over, negotiated with the airline directly and certainly called me about 6 times for further information and help. It was simply incredible. Although we did not get the price we hoped for, we received an absolutely marvelous service from the agents. Each and every one of them was very friendly and helpful. I bought tickets for Europe. One of the tickets had to be changed. The return date. I called several times. First they told me $ 600, after it was $900, and in the end when they called back was $12.000. So they said to think about and to call back with my decision. I called back to do the change and also to ask what's the breakdown on this price. They refused to tell me. The original price of the ticket was $1300. They guy I spoke to said he had everything documented and we can do the change.
When I called back, first person tells me, "You can't change," and HE hangs up on me. I called right back and the next guy says, it's $1700, and he says, "You called us so many times, this is the final price," and he hangs up. My point is, that this people, who I assume they are somewhere in India, should understand, when you already thousands of $$$, you will call and you expect them to HELP you. It's not like they give you anything for free. I didn't ask for a free ticket. I just asked for options.

Horrible web site and cheap trick customer service. We bought 4 tickets to Orlando for a vacation on CheapOAir. We selected our dates (CheapOAir confirmed we selected correctly) and their web site changed the dates and charged us. We noticed a week later when CheapOAir sent us a confirmation email. We called customer support and the rep advised it happens all the time and they will update the tickets free of charge and call us back. We never received a call back so we called them again today.
Today is a different story. They want an additional $750 to change the flight. The flight was only $1,000 to begin with. Are you kidding me??! So they graciously split the cost and we only owed $350. Before we could discuss it they charged us the $350 and said no refunds. So now we are paying $1,350 for a ticket I can buy direct from the airline for $1,100. Since CheapOAir is unwilling to refund THEIR MISTAKE, I now have to dispute it with the CC company. What a Joke. STAY AWAY!!!

A change in my wife's plans required a change in the return trip date on her ticket. I worked with a Rep from CheapOair who worked hard to find the best option out of several really bad ones. He was able to reduce the total change cost by almost 2/3 of the original price. I am very happy with how my experience went from the first ticket purchase through the change. I was excited about the low cost of the rates of the tickets. I was a little confused with the flex dates even after I put in the dates I wanted to leave and come back. My wife recently used them for a trip to New Zealand. Today, the phone rang. I picked up after 1-2 rings and there was nobody there. I did a reverse lookup on the number and it was CheapOair. Had we not dealt with them recently, we would report them since our name is on the do-not-call list.

I bought tickets from CheapOair in July 2015 bound for Turkey. March 29th the US State Department issued a warning, saying that US Citizens should not travel to Turkey unless they are required to. On top of that two bombs were set off in Istanbul in Jan, and about 100 tourists overall have been killed in 2016. It is simply not safe to travel there now. With these changes we assumed that we would be able to change our tickets. Not so. Our round trip tickets were 1,299. Now they want over 2,000 for a return trip and they won't let us just the last leg of our already purchased tickets, even if we get to London on our return date on our own. CheapOair, certainly is turning out to be far less cheap than their name implies.

Please don't waste your time with this company. I have the worst experience of my traveling life. I bought 2 tickets to go to Mexico. Pay for them, get confirmation #, fly #, seat #, check my account, see the United airline charging the money out of my account. But SURPRISED 2 HOURS BEFORE I LEAVE THEY SEND EMAIL saying the price change that I have to pay more.
These was my first time using these CheapOair so because my card was charge I thought it was a mistake but when I went to the airline they told me the tickets were just reserved but no purchase then I have to pay more or they can find me other fly for later but more expensive. WELL THIS IS WHAT I THINK. They get advantage of people's necessity. They know most people got 2 weeks vacations so when they get on this situation they don't have other choice then just pay and go and all that you can do is write a review. The CheapOair has a so poor reputation. They will significantly increase the price of booked air ticket, just a few hours after the purchase has been successfully completed! Below is my experience with the CheapOair online service. In the afternoon on Mar. 25 2016, I successfully booked three round trip air tickets from IAD (Dulles International Airport) to Beijing in China from CheapOair on Mar. 25 2016 at the price $986 ($896+$90 tax) per person. The booking process went through very smoothly.
However, surprisingly, at 10:52 pm in the same day (after 6 hours I got confirmation email), I received another email stated that "Due to the airline(s) not confirming your booking, we were unable to issue your tickets." I noticed this email in the morning on Mar. 26 and I immediately called CheapOair customer service. During this phone call, I was told because the tickets price went up after I booking so I need to pay extra charges: each ticket cost $1101 ($1011+$90 tax) and insurance also changed from $177 to $199. End up I paid $367 more in total. I really disappointed at the credit of the CheapOair! I don't like to trust the CheapOair anymore!

I called CheapOair to book a hotel room. I told the first agent what I was calling about. He transferred me to the hotel dept. I was on hold for a long time. I told the next agent what I was calling about. He told me that he would transfer me to the hotel dept. I told him that I had been transferred to the hotel dept., but he said that he wasn't in the hotel department. I was put on hold again. The next agent was in the hotel dept. He helped me get the room I wanted for the nights I wanted. He said they would send me a confirming e-mail within 5 minutes. I hung up, and when the e-mail came it was an ad for reserving hotel rooms, not the confirming e-mail. I called back tonight and was put on hold for 33 minutes. I now have the e-mail I need, but I have little faith in working with CheapOair.

Don't be deceived by their cheap prices. This is a horrible place to book international flights. Worst service I've had in my entire life. My colleague booked 3 tickets on the same flight with the same credit card (using a corporation card). She booked the first one on a separate transaction than the other two. She received confirmation emails for the bookings. Even though she'd already received confirmations for ALL the tickets, she later double checked the credit card and saw that there wasn't a charge for two of the tickets. She called CheapOair and they told her that they had to cancel the 2 tickets because it didn't go through on the card. There had been no warning. No emails. No notifications that they cancelled. Nothing. We checked with our accounting department and they said it was because CheapOair only ran it through for $0 for the two tickets.
Had to change flights on for the return trip and pay an extra $750 for THEIR mistake. We would have gone with someone else, but we were traveling with other people and wanted to be on the same flight to our destination (even though we had to switch flights for the flight back). Horrible, horrible service. I will never use them again. Thank goodness we checked the card or we would have shown up at the airport without a flight. Apparently this happens a lot with them. I can't believe they didn't tell us they cancelled our tickets.

All of the people on the phone at every point was very cordial. However, I was lead to believe that my choices through Spirit Air were very limited for the price I was offered. I purchased a ticket for my brother from Manila to Quito Ecuador but he was not able to get on his flight as he did not have a transit visa which was required for stopovers in Japan and the US. I called CheapOair and the representative who assisted me was able to cancel the original ticket and reroute the travel through countries that did not require a transit visa. Without his help I don't know what I would have done. I was doing all this while I was on an airplane myself getting ready to take off on my trip. However, he took care of everything. I wish I could give them a -5 rating. I bought a ticket on the phone to fly from San Francisco to Sao Paulo to attend a very important business meeting. While on the phone they run my credit card, got approved, got confirmation email, got confirmation code, got everything, even a reminder on the day of the travel with my "travel details."
I went to the airport the day of the flight to find out THEY NEVER PURCHASED MY TICKET, so I couldn't fly. I missed my flight and of course I call "Customer Service" or better said "Customer Fighting Department." They said they "couldn't verify the credit card details." I later confirmed this with my credit card -- they never even tried to charge the credit card. I fought with them for 2 hours on the phone. Everybody I talked to said something different. None of them even mentioned the word "APOLOGY." In fact, they made me feel like it was my fault.
They wouldn't even offer me the same return flight I had purchased in the first place, even though while we were on the phone I could see it was still available for purchase. I ended up HAVING TO PAY for a return ticket I didn't want, having 3 stops instead of 1, taking a 20 hrs flight instead of 13, missed my business meeting in Sao Paulo, and got back in a return flight that made me miss other very serious arrangements I had previously organized. The funny part is that they made it look like I made a change to my booking (same booking number) and when I got the confirmation email with the "amended details" the email looked exactly the same as the original, and of course they run the credit card payment on the phone as well. IRONIC!
This is BY FAR the worst company out there, not just in terms of the service they offer but also their customer service representatives. They don't even know what they say. Don't even waste your time asking to talk to supervisors or managers because they are even worse. (I have the names of the two people I talked to.) I sent an email requesting a recording of the call at the time of purchase. It's been 10 days since my email and nobody has written back to me.
It seems that whoever is in that department was trained by the same person that trained all the other representatives. I will seek for legal help. Companies don't have a right to mess up with people's lives and time like this. (I later realized there are other people that has suffered exactly the same problem.) It would be different if we were talking about buying an item, but flying?? You can't play with people's lives CHEAPoair.

My daughter chose your company thinking it would be the cheapest. By the time all the extra charges were added, it was far from it. I selected seats but when I called later to make a correction to the reservation (which by the way was very well handled) I was told my seats were not confirmed and was walked through the process. Later I found that the seats were in fact confirmed and one seat with a $21 up-charge (booked during the second selection) was not necessary. The people I spoke to or chatted with all tried to be helpful and were quite patient. But the process was confusing and the seating issue was especially upsetting.

This is with regards to the calls that I made to your company when I wanted to book a ticket from JFK to London (Heathrow). I am not a regular traveller but whenever I plan to travel I look for the cheapest options on different websites. While searching, I got the cheapest option on your website www.cheapoair.com and I called 1-888-516-3050 and spoke to Samuell who said that he is from a company called Farebuzz. First of all, I don't know how that call went to that travel agency who offered me a price of $1759.00 for a direct flight with Virgin Atlantic.
I told the guy that I could see a cheaper option online for $1459 and he replied that website fare does not include the taxes and fee. It's been more than 4 days when I spoke to him and that price is still showing as available on your website. He kept saying that price is not available. Which leaves me with a thought that either you are false advertising which is misleading, and in law amounts to a misrepresentation.
If you cannot offer a price of your own website then what is the point of keeping a website which misleads your customers? Your agents could not even speak English properly, I felt as if English was not their first language. They were rude and sounded as if they were not interested in answering the call and don't know why some other company is answering your calls. They said their company is the Parent company and they have taken over CheapOair so it's one and the same thing. Don't care about what connection both companies have but why ripping off your customers?
I then hung up and called again and guess what... The call was again answered by a FareBuzz executive Ashton (sounded Indian with an English name). He took me for a roller coaster ride when he offered me a price of $1849.00 which is even higher than what your 1st agent told me. The 3rd time when I called I finally spoke to CheapOair agent who offered me the price which was exactly the same as your website though he also tried to fool with a higher price. But I could not trust him either because of my initial experience I had and I did not book with him either.
Let me ask bluntly, is your company trying to fool people or is it really a fraud company? This was the 1st time that I contacted CheapOair and I will never try it again and neither will I refer it to someone. Rather I will share my experience on Facebook and Twitter. Please do not take it as a threat or an act to get a compensation. I don't need any compensation and neither should you offer me that. I have already shared my opinion and experience on a couple of websites so that people are aware of how your company fools people. I will also report the matter to the Department of Transport and Better Business Bureau because either your executives are lying or your website is misleading and which needs to be reported. I have booked my ticket through Orbitz where people don't lie and at least they can speak English.

Booked a long distance flight through CheapOair (Casablanca-Hong Kong) using my partner's credit card. THREE DAYS BEFORE FLYING I was about to book the second flight that would connect to this one, when my partner informed me that the money hadn't even left his account. I had already received an email confirmation stating "BOOKING CONFIRMED" completely official, all details just like any regular flight that I book. I went on to the airline's website and used my booking reference along with my last name and couldn't connect.
I called CheapOair, they were not sorry at all. Simply said "Oh your flight isn't confirmed." They said they had sent an email - I verified the email address I had given and my email account (spam, trash, etc) - NOTHING! If my partner didn't check his account I would have arrived to the airport with all my luggage ready to board a flight that I wasn't even booked on! NOT WORTH THE RISK!!!

I was purchasing tickets to go to India. The prices had came up. It had said "If you want it at this cheap price you must call." I went ahead and called. The lady said I could cancel within 24 hours with no charge. Turns out I did call the next day to cancel they had charged my account. I then called the airline they had gave me which was Delta. When I called Delta they told me I would have to pay an extra 900 dollars. After, speaking with Delta they had said to never book airline tickets through CheapOair. This was a extremely bad experience. I do not recommend CheapOair. They refunded the money that I had paid for the tickets but they had still charged my account for canceling even when it was within the 24 hour window.

I have been in contact with CheapOair since April 1st and it has been nothing but a nightmare. I was notified that my flight to Rio from Miami had been changed from a 12 hour travel day to 22 hours. I contact CheapOair to see what alternatives there were and they stated that there were no flights the day before or the day after. Therefore, I requested to have a full refund because I physically cannot fly 22 hours and was getting in 10 hours later than scheduled, affecting my travel accommodations when I land in Rio. While contacting CheapOair I was hung up on twice by the same representative while I was in mid sentence. Mind you, I was already on hold for over 30 minutes, waiting to talk to someone.
CheapOair stated that they needed to contact the airline to see if they would be able to refund me. This was in early April. They stated that they would call me within 24-48 hours. They never called me back. I called them back and they stated that the airline had not gotten back to them and that they would reach out to them again and that they would call me back in 24-48 hours. Well, guess what, CheapOair never called me back. Every time I call CheapOair I'm on hold and then have to explain my situation over and over again. I started keeping track of who I was speaking to because every time I called, I would speak to someone new and would have to explain again what was going on. Finally, I stated to CheapOair that they needed to refund me the money because the airline could not.
I had spoken to Brian, a supervisor on Monday, April 11th and he stated he needed to look into the issue and would call me back in 2 hours. I never received a call back from Brian of course. So I called on Wednesday, April 13, and asked for Brian. Representative Sincer talked to Brian stating that in fact I would be getting a refund of my ticket price $359.59. He stated that I would be getting this back on the card that I booked with and that I would have it within 1-2 business days. My travel companion called CheapOair to discuss her refund situation and when she gave them my booking# they stated that I was not issued a refund.
My travel companion advised them to call me to notify me of this because that is not what I was told over the phone. I never received a call so therefore I called them. I spoke to Brian, after being on hold for 50 minutes, and he stated that I would not be getting a refund because it was denied by the airlines. I asked why would the representative then told me yesterday I would be getting a refund and he said he was not sure. I asked to speak to Brian's representative and Dunken was who I spoke with. Dunken stated that he would need to reach out to the quality team to listen to the recorded conversation had with Sincer and that would not be until tomorrow because the department was closed. There should be no reason I should have to go through this many people to get my ticket refunded.
As stated, there were no other flight options offered and I did not book a ticket to fly 22 hours. CheapOair needs to refund me my $359.59 that was promised to me. I had purposed another ticket on Tuesday, once I had been told I was being refunded. Now I have spent more money on another flight when I would have never booked this ticket in the first place if I wasn't being refunded. This is an awful company that I will NEVER use again. None of the representatives I have spoken to have been sincere. CheapOair gives you the ring around, stating they need to contact so and so and then they will call you back but never do. They do this in the effort that you will give up and they will keep your money. This company should not be in service!

I booked with CheapOair my tickets to Athens at the rate I saw on the screen, same itinerary, etc. This was perfect. Although, previously I had canceled a flight to Athens because I saw rates and flights available online and every time I tried to buy it the system failed for whatever reason (not my fault) and the tickets and rates were not available anymore online. When this happened I received a call from a representative and I finally bought the tickets but not on the dates I wanted. I was told that was the only option, I almost understood like take it or leave it.
With my tickets on hand (dates I didn't like) I continue receiving warnings from CheapOair offering what I was told was not available. I decided to cancel my tickets when I looked into Momondo website the price and dates I was looking for. As a last chance I decided to call a CheapOair agent on the phone to get the tickets I finally got and I am satisfied with the final result; although, I had a very bad time in the process.
I believe if I would've given up in the middle of the process I should've ended with tickets I didn't want and, what is worse, without the tickets shown on the screen. I consider this is the fraud on the process, you select an option online and at the end of the process the system fails and you are then offered another option not necessarily equivalent to what one thought you were buying.
Rafael, fares changes constantly and at times there is a delay in updating the availability and pricing. That comes directly from the airlines, therefore we rely on them to provide the most upto date information, at times there can be a delay. I'm glad however, that you were able to find something that worked for you.

CheapOair gave me good notification of a rescheduled flight on a 2 leg connection Kunming/Shanghai/Toronto. They notified me almost 4 weeks before the flight. I did not accept the flight alternative and sent my reply accordingly. I asked for more options but they didn't reply. I then resent my request to cheapoair.ca, cheapoair.com and China Eastern of which I only received auto reply.
Calling is not an easy solution with a 12 hr time difference and when I did finally get through... I was put on hold until my sim card expired. Your 1 800 number could not connect me to the right department. Several emails again... no reply. After 2 weeks of frustration and no replies I was able to Skype and talked to someone to resolve my issue. I was supposed to get hotel information from China Eastern and Cheapoair but it never came. I did 2 live chats with Cheapoair but nothing resolved. Finally went to China Eastern office in Kunming China to get some resolve and confirmation. This was way too much effort on my part to resolve this issue that Cheapoair should have done.
