On July 14, 2016, I made a roundtrip purchase from CheapOair website www.cheapoair.com. I selected and confirmed a travel date of September 27, 2016 and a return date of November 7, 2016. However, interestingly, the ticket I received from CheapOair was from September 27, 2016 to December 5, 2016. This disputed booking confirmation was directed to my spam folder, and therefore, was not noticed until July 16, 2016.
An immediate dispute notice and cancellation request was made to CheapOair on the same day (July 16, 2016) by calling the phone number provided on their website: 1-800-525-0400. But unfortunately, the customer representative simply refused to acknowledge the mistake or adjust the return date. Surprised by the extremely unprofessional attitude of this agent, I respectfully asked him to cancel my ticket altogether and refund my balance. Again, the representative misguided me by saying that I will lose "all" my money ($603.08) if I choose to do so, which is also a "lie" because CheapOair website categorically mentions that, cancellation with future credit is possible for a fee of $50. Horrible experience.

The site listed an attractive fare but did not identify the airline. I specifically did not want a certain airline so I called the 800 number. Boyce was very helpful in walking me through the different choices and the resulting fare was a savings for our travel (3 adults). When the e-mail confirmation arrived, I noticed a spelling mistake on one passenger and I called immediately. While that error was quickly corrected, the resulting new booking number wasn't sent to me. Once I called, I was given the new booking numbers for that passenger. My suggestion would always be to make sure the client has any changed booking number. The revised booking confirmation did not have new numbers for the one passenger; however, that information was quickly provided -- no real problem.
Armed with all the booking numbers, I could make seat selections on my own. One segment of travel involves Iberia and a heads up that getting advanced seat assignments is an extra charge on that particular airline would have been good. Maybe I would have chosen a different return flight but again, that's not a deal breaker. The approximate savings per passenger was worth the extra phone calls. And yes, I will try CheapOair again.

I had to come back to review CheapOair. I booked a ticket from New York to Johannesburg and I had no problems at all. I was leery due to negative reviews but everything from CheapOair was good. It was my first time using this site, and I will them again in the future. Hopefully, it will continue to be a good travel option.

The agent was very helpful and courteous. I was unable to access the flight schedules from the internet because your site kept asking me to join something for which I had no interest. After 3 attempts I gave up and phoned instead. Why bother with the internet if you keep preventing a client from processing a flight purchase all because of some offer or program that isn't wanted, at least by me?

I booked my flight over the phone with a CheapOair agent. During that process and for the two longest flights, we selected "preferred economy" seating, like the seats directly behind exit row seats. I asked multiple times about extra seat charges and was told there were none. After booking I received the confirmation e-mails and was then able to see the seating arrangements, of which I wanted to change two flights. I called back and we changed them seemingly without issue.
The next day I decided to check the respective airline's (Air New Zealand) website to make sure my seats appeared on their site. To my surprise, only 1 of 3 Air New Zealand flights showed my seats! Air New Zealand told me that they must not have followed through with my booking and seat reservation. I am still in the process of working this out but I have since spent a lot of time on the phone with different agents from both sides. I had to keep asking one CheapOair agent to stay on the line while I received his e-mail confirmations because he kept trying to hang up on me. And both of his update e-mails had seat numbers that did not match what we had JUST discussed. He seemed to know why this was but had no interest in sharing it with me or making it right. Air New Zealand was helpful and let me purchase seats on one flight and confirmed that it is locked in so now I have one more screw-up remaining to fix.
I finally reached a CheapOair agent who seemed interested in helping me and he readily agreed with my dilemma and said the previous agents had told me wrong. He said he/they are going to contact Air New Zealand to sort it out. That flight (from Houston to Auckland) is now fully booked and at this point I just hope my wife and I can sit together - as promised by CheapOair - on this 13 hour flight. Maybe an honest mistake WAS made when I first booked by telling me that I did not have to follow up by purchasing/confirming my seats with Air New Zealand but either way it has since then been a customer service nightmare with CheapOair. I don't recall requesting this survey to be e-mailed to me so you got what you asked for. Please don't apologize. Just own up by making it right. Thanks for reading.

I was charged twice for my trip. First time I was charged 463.00 then when I made a change I was charged 560.00 for a total of 970.00. The operator said there was a 200.00 fee for the change. I asked, "was this 200.00 added to the 463.00." She said yes. But I found that I was charged the 463.00 as well as the 560.00. I thought the difference would be placed back on my card, but it was not.

Started off bad and got worse!!! No one was at the check-in counter at 6 am. I waited for 30 minutes. One of the Hertz rental people said you can reach them on the 3rd floor. I went upstairs and waited another 45 minutes to be told that the person that was supposed to be at the counter was now available. I went back downstairs again to find that person was still not there. Finally he arrived, took my information, asked me if I wanted to have additional insurance and I told him no and that my insurance covers me for any issues with any vehicle that I drive. I asked if he needed proof of insurance coverage and he replied, "no." I waived the additional insurance. I was then asked to initial the collision waiver box but was then charged 27.19 dollars per day which was very misleading. This is very unprofessional business practice.
Also I wanted the Camry and was told that there were none left in stock so they gave me a 1500 Ram Crew Cab which I accepted. I showed up to accept the vehicle which was drenched with water after I was driving and the sun came out I noticed that the truck looked like it had been to Iraq and back. Too late. I thought I'm already at my destination!!! My online quote from 137.00 ended up costing me 337.19. Not even close!!! No one will probably care. I travel a lot but "EZ CAR" have lost, which could have been a possible lifetime customer.

I called yesterday to modify my international booking from Medellin, Colombia to Quito, Ecuador, via Bogota. I spoke with a very nice representative named Paine (sp?). He was incredibly polite, concise, and helpful through the whole process. I needed time to think about making the reservation change, and he even agreed to give me 30 minutes to think about it, before calling me back to confirm the change. I don't think any representative has ever agreed to do that for me before. I was very impressed and happy. So much so I didn't hesitate to call back into CheapOair today to make another modification. Thanks Paine and CheapOair for making a difficult decision painless, and a complicated process easy.

I booked a round-trip ticket from CheapOair on Feb. 28, 2016 from Washington Dulles to New Delhi. As per the marketing tagline of the website, I was offered the cheapest option to come back on August 10, 2016 to Washington DC from New Delhi with 2 stopovers in Munich and Geneva. My return flight details are as follows: Aug. 10th, 2016: Delhi to Munich (LH 0763) - Munich to Geneva (LH 5874) - Geneva to Washington DC (LH 9369). But little did I know in return, I will have to endure a nightmarish experience at the New Delhi airport.
I was informed by the airline authorities that I need to have a Schengen visa if I am traveling to two layovers in Europe. Not only was I not allowed to board the flight to Munich from New Delhi, stating that I needed Schengen visa to board the flight, there was no refund of the amount of the return ticket. This caused considerable trauma and burnt a hole in my pocket to say the least as I had to book a completely new flight for coming back to Washington DC.
Please note that I am a graduate student working tirelessly to save money and my hard earned money went down the drain due to this minor yet crucial thing regarding Schengen visa being overlooked. This despite the fact that there was a direct flight from Munich to Washington. Why was then another stopover in Geneva suggested to me without mentioning that a Schengen visa is required in case a passenger has 2 stopovers in Europe. Even the most frequent of travelers to Europe are not fully aware of Schengen visa rules, how can you expect a student traveling after 2 years to her native place to know the same. On calling the call center, nothing was achieved with regards to resolving this issue. Instead, I was told that I will be a given a call back which never came.
Bottom line is that I was lured into selecting a flight route (from Munich to Geneva) without even a basic advisory with regards to visa related implications, under the pretense of issuing a cheap ticket. This is made even worse by the fact that there was a connecting flight from Munich to Washington already. The company which prides itself in getting the cheapest ticketing options ended up giving a costly and traumatic life experience to me.
There's a humble request to please ensure that I can get a full refund on the return ticket fare which I had to cancel due to this incident. I am placing my faith in CheapOair and expect that my demand for full refund will be met. If required, I can provide the supporting documents for the new flight that I had to book immediately. I am fully aware of the consumer rights forum and believe that I won't be required to use my rights over there. I received a voicemail from Georgia ** of CheapOair on Aug. 12, 2016 but have not heard back from her since then. I am very disappointed with their customer service and their lack of empathy for their customers.

There were problems, some error glitch, but she got help and asked me to not worry about the silence as I waited. Choosing among complicated connections, she figured it out and made it work for me. I am grateful and already recommending CheapO to friends.

Horrible experience with CheapOair!! We paid $790 for two tickets which were labeled flexible tickets which nowhere on the website was it disclosed that this permits them to change your dates of travel without speaking with you which is what exactly happened to us. We chose a departure date and a return date (which both the agent and the manager stated they clearly saw) but then decided to change our flights to the day before and our return flight the next day (the original departure date) so when we went to check in that date we were made aware that a flight was missed and we should be checking in to fly home for later that night. Granted we are very new at this traveling game but when you select a date of travel I expected it to be the date our flight was booked for.
Apparently according to them this type of ticket lets them choose for you what date to leave and return which had we known we would have used a more credible website and paid a little more for a flight for a trip that we would have been able to go on. Instead we lost out on our trip, our experience at the democratic convention, and our money. Essentially we are out all this money except the $60 that they decided to refund us after 5 hours on the phone with customer service and management. Granted the management did try to assist us with rebooking this flight and did everything she could or assumed since I was on the phone for so long.
Although I was on hold for about 3 hours of that call and waited about an hour for the manager just to pickup the phone, the first agent was not helpful at all since all she could say was she could get us on another flight the next day for an additional $800. But by then we would lose our hotel reservation and since we were going to the convention all other rooms were booked.
At the end of my entire day of being on the phone waiting and fighting them to try and correct what I feel is their mistake (even though they say that the ticket labeled flexible covers them) they were able to tell me that they would put in for a refund of up to $500 but all we got back was the $60. Ugh I just wanted to go on my very first flight ever and execute my rights as a citizen to be present at this convention in this election year and all I got was ripped off and disappointment. I would not recommend anyone use this site or if you do make sure you triple check everything with them a couple of times.

They listen the full recording and agree that the error was made from their end. More than half of the people working there have no clue what they are doing. I wait for callback and no one call. No one fixed any error. They stated that they fixed them but every time I call back I hear something new and someone more disrespectful. I told them I don't want their service and the person I spoke to started talking over me and telling me rules and regulations. I understand rules and regulations if I made the error, but they made error on 2 tickets. They should be paying out of their pocket not me. I don't want their service anymore.
I got the tickets on June 21 and today is August 12, 2016 and still nothing got fixed. All I'm doing is keep calling back and waiting for their callback. But still nothing resolved. Then they tell me that the Kuwait Airlines are not fixing and they are waiting for their response. They should pay them to fix the error that they made. Why should I have to? It's wrong. They make these errors on purpose. After going through this I read all the comments people left on Google and all have the same problem with them. They really need to hire better people who don't make error and fix their error from their end and give customers hard time.

Cheap is not always good and to have it in their name makes me wonder why the directors could not think of a better name. Booked 3 flights and paid to be told on checking a hour or so later the outward flights were never booked even though I had email confirmation. Only the return flights were booked and it was a issue with the airline?? What good is a return flight without the outward or is this some sort of scam?
Good news. They eventually told us they could book us on the flight out but had to pay another £60.00 as flights had gone up. Well another lie as we went back on Skyscanner and they were the same price as a hour or so before. I won't be the first or last person to get scammed/ripped off by this company so do yourself a favor and don't be stupid like I was booking with a company with Cheap in their name as "all that glitters is not gold" and if it says cheap it's not always cheap and will probably cost you more!

Went to check my son in for his flight to be surprised with massive luggage fees. 60 for a carry on ONE WAY!!! This is crazy. I have done travel for 40 plus flights in recent history and have never had a charge for a carry on let alone $60.00!!! BE AWARE IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK FOR ADDITIONAL BAGGAGE FEES!!! If you call customer service be prepared to have them just hang up on you, talk to a supervisor and it is your fault for not calling and checking... All I asked is if they can look into finding a way to clearly state there are a lot of additional fees like $60.00 for a carry on one way!!!
Baggage fees are accessed by the individual airlines, and in no way are associated with CheapOair as an added expense. When booking your flights, there is a link directly beneath the flight for bag fees it is clearly marked and highlighted in orange. You can check the policy prior to entering in your credit card, and if you don't agree with the policy, no problem you can scratch those flights, and start over. Checked bags are less expensive with this particular airline, and they are at the moment the only airline that charges for carry ons and has been around for many years now. We recommend that everyone check bag rules for each reservation they book so there are no surprises. But the norm is, most domestic airlines are going to charge bag fees, so be prepared.

I live in Dublin and fly to NY often to visit family. Booked flights with CheapOair - initially found them ok. 2 months later I realised I was landing in Washington Dulles and my next flight was from Reagan 3 hours later. Called up and spoke to customer care who basically said 'If you had a problem you should've called within 24 hours of booking'. When I was paying for my flight over the phone this was never discussed. I was then told it is possible I might miss my connecting flight and if I did they wouldn't honour my connecting flight or my return flight home. They could help change my flights but for an additional 1400 (my flights cost 1800). The agent had the cheek to ask "Can I help you with anything else?" Almost laughable as they had helped me with nothing.
I am 3 months pregnant, had my 12 yr old boy with respiratory problems with me and had to fly on a 2 week vacation with hand luggage. One carry on was filled with medication and a nebuliser so very little clothes. I spent over 1 hour in customs and then had to cry to skip queues in Washington to run get a cab to the next airport which we made thankfully with only minutes to spare. I fly a lot and often book tickets online without any hassle but I will never use these again nor recommend to anyone. Absolutely horrible company to deal with. I would give no stars if possible!

In haste, my mother booked a trip yesterday to fly with CheapOair. She clicked all the buttons, sent her VISA info and today, when she reviewed the information realized an error had occurred. Instead of a one way flight from Cardiff Wales to Shannon Ireland which would be roughly $235 she has a return ticket for $1120! Yes she should have caught this error earlier but her life is complicated and when she realized the mistake I called the airlines. After many many many delays "please hold for 2 minutes" I was told nothing could be done. No money will be returned. It feels like a rip-off. Initially the customer service rep said she would need to pay a cancellation fee. Then after another "please hold for 2 minutes" he said nothing could be done. Doesn't seem fair.

I had the worst booking experience ever. I was looking online for a flight and I saw phone only fare in CheapOair that $200 cheaper than the online one I saw in Expedia so I decided to call and get more information about it. I called and I told them about the dates and everything and the agent told me that flight is not available anymore, even though I can still see it when I refresh the page. They gave me another flight for around $100 more. And because I am already talking to the agent, I decided to book the flight. The agent got all of my information and told me to wait for the confirmation email. But when I got the confirmation email few hours after I saw that the agent got my ticket for another month (I asked for 31st of July and the agent booked for the 31st of August). After calling them back for few hours, I talked to another agent and they told me I need to pay more that $1000 if I want my ticket for the 31st because prices had changed!!!
After that they transferred me to their supervisor and the only options he gave me are either cancel the flight and get full refund that will come back to my account in more than 3 weeks or change it to the 5th of August because he said there nothing available for similar price on the 31st. And even though I told him that's not fair those were my only option, and by getting refund means all the plans are screwed and I can't even get another flight until I get the refund which is way late after my planning date. So I gave up and got the flight on the 5th of August even though it's late for me and it was the only option according to them.
The next day I tried CheapOair website and I found a flight on the 31st of July for similar price. I called to ask about the flight and it's available for similar price, but when I told them about my story and I want to change my ticket they asked me to pay changing fees and fare difference that around $1900!!! After talking to few agent they transferred me to someone higher and he couldn't help me. He offered me a full refund or I have to pay (their reason was that I accepted the 5th of August. I shouldn't have accepted that). When he couldn't help me he asked for my number and he told me his supervisor will call me to see what he can do, and I didn't receive anything until today. I just wish I have saved myself all that hustle and use Expedia instead.

Contacted the airline and was told we had been bumped and there were no seats available on our flight. I contacted the customer service twice with no resolution. Asked for a refund due to misleading information and unethical business practice. Denied.
If they cannot confirm seats then they should not allow passengers to select them. I had to pay the airline an additional fee to upgrade so I could get a seat on my flight I book 3 months ago. Customer service no help. I have never booked a flight then be informed later our seats were no longer available. Book with a reputable on line service... We have had a very unique experience well at least for us. My family and I are seasoned travelers and go home to Turkey often. We booked our flights on CheapOair this time (first time) and was very happy with the initial booking. Then there was coup in Turkey and a number of other things, we decided not to go. After (no joke) 6 hours on the phone with Delta and CheapOair we got our tickets canceled and Delta agreed to waive the $300 fee per person. Great. We had to use the credit before Feb. 10, 2017 so we decided to fly somewhere in the US while it was still summer.
We called CheapOair then we called Delta then we called CheapOair who put me on hold for hours. Then after hours on hold, I was told they were going to call back in 1 hour. After 3 hrs I called back and was told again that the first agent I spoke to was going to call me back. Another hour went by, I called back. After again being on hold for an hour, I got disconnected and had to call back.
The most frustrating thing is that I feel helpless and they have $2500 credit of mine and I want to use it. It is like they do everything they can to frustrate me so I can just give up and forfeit the money. Also the price I was given for the makeup trip I want to take was $1000 more than what I found on Delta.com. Delta has been great and I have learned a HUGE lesson. I will book directly with airlines from now on. This is so not worth my time and frustration to save a few hundred $$$. I only have the time now because I am a teacher and it is summer.

We have been billed twice, the same day, for the same person for the correct return date. We had even discussed the really long layover with the agent and it was still entered for the wrong return day, the first time. We are very dissatisfied with our FIRST experience with your organization. But, if you've fixed the double charge on the card, THANK YOU for making me look like an IDIOT when I tried to use my card...
Shirley, the original booking had been charged and when the dates were change later by you, that booking has to be voided so avoid having to pay the airline change fee usually $200.00, so by voiding the transaction we saved you money. But now you have to purchase the new tickets so another charge had to be put through. The original charge will go back into your account usually within 3-5 business days, our apologies for the inconvenience you experienced, but we did save you money by doing the transaction the way we did.

Waynet, unfortunately it's the airlines who made the change. As a travel agency we don't get the opportunity to provide you with the flights, the airline gives us the flights in which we have to pass along to you. This is very common and my apologies that they have caused an inconvenience. In most cases if the flights no longer work for you, and they have provided you with all their options, a refund is usually granted. I can send this to our schedule change team who will reach out to the airline and start the refund process. But keep in mind, if you still take this trip, you would be looking at a new ticket at today's cost.

I placed the call and was told that that flight and price was no longer available, but he could get me 2 tickets on Southwest for $740 total and this would include seat selection. That in itself should have sent up a "red flag" that something was fishy because I have flown Southwest numerous times and I know that they do not preassign seats, but I didn't question.
I provided my credit card information and proceeded with the purchase. Afterward, I went to the Southwest website and entered my travel dates only to discover that the round trip flight was only $546 including taxes. I checked my credit card statement to find that there was a charge to CheapOair for $179.00 and a charge to Southwest for $546.00. So in reality, I should have booked myself though Southwest. Try to tell me or any of the TSA cameras that we didn't make the flight. Try me one more time, I'm flustered just thinking about this experience. Somehow explained that we were still reserved for the return flight, so they could reinstate it (yay!)
Reinstatement cost of $350: EXCUSE ME??? (how can you tell me you canceled my flight, somehow it is still reserved under my name, but you still want more money from me to get my fully paid for flight back??? Tell me more about how that makes sense. Actually, don't bother, because your agents just turn in circles trying to explain absolutely nothing). Anyways, just avoid third-party booking sites. Seriously. The tax and other costs were almost just as much as the ticket itself, so it would have been cheaper to just book from the airline.

The Company cheapoair.com, AKA "Fareportal Inc." offers insurance policies to customers that are exploitative, and abusive. My wife and I needed to cancel a flight to Italy for two reasons: she was in the hospital for a hernia, and also because of issues with the Department of Immigration. She was then becoming a citizen. We purchased cheapoair.com's travel insurance. They would only allow us to alter the date of the flight, but we could not cancel. We were going to Italy for work, however, we missed the convention due to the aforementioned issues. The company sent us through loops and forced us to go back and forth between the airline, insurance and the company who we purchased the ticket from (https://www.cheapoair.com/).
After several months of deliberation, difficult paperwork, and literally 7 hours of exhausting conversation the claim was denied. The reason the claim was denied by CheapOair was that despite having purchased the tickets and insurance from them the reasons given in our claim were inadequate. How could a medical emergency, compounded with Visa issues be inadequate? CHEAPOAIR STILL OWES MY WIFE AND I NEARLY $2000. They operate on a kind of triad that makes it nearly impossible for the customer to resolve an issue; website, airline, and insurance. None of which want to be the one responsible for reimbursing the customer. Therefore the customer feels defeated, and frustrated, gives up, and they keep the money. Do not do business with this company. Their business practices are exploitative, abusive, and truly immoral.

I booked a flight using CheapOair for a family vacation. I ran into an issue online and called customer support to help with booking. I was charged extra money to be able to select my seats so my husband, myself and our 3-year-old child can seat together. I was OK with that since sitting together on all the flights was important to us. Customer support rep ended up charging me over 150 dollars for seat assignment. On the day of our trip I tried to check in and it showed me that all 3 of us were sitting on opposite ends of the airplane on EVERY SINGLE FLIGHT, including the 3-year-old whose seat was nowhere near me or my husband. Thankfully the agent was able to make it happen so at least one of us was sitting with our son. I am completely outraged that I was charged so much money for something that the company didn't deliver. I will NEVER book with CheapOair again. They are liars.

This is when I am looking at the web while talking to them. SO they charged me more than online price. However when I searched again the flight had plenty of room and the price was less and I could easily book for another family members.
I called in and asked for price match, they refused to do so. I have heard from friends too that DO NOT call them. They lie to you and charge you more instead of helping. NO USA customer services. Mike was refunded the Traveler assist of $13.95 which is our fee for booking the seats. But the passenger actually booked a premium seat on AA airlines, which goes directly to them, therefore we could not refund that and passenger appears to have sat in the preferred seat because we don't show it was ever canceled. I have had a paid booking through CheapOair for approx 6 months. In that time I have had approx 5 or 6 small schedule changes of 10 or 20 mins until the last one which I received 10 days from travel. My complaint and comments about Cheapoair are as follows.
1. I paid 6 months ago for business and premium economy and now I have been bumped down to economy on two legs without any form of compensation. 2. There is no mechanism for you to address concerns formally with Cheapoair. They will not put you onto supervisors and they will not put you through to a manager or someone you can complain to. They simply ignore all such requests and keep silent or talking.
3. They try to rush and push you into making changes which I can assume only benefit them and or the airlines. A flight was cancelled. There was another flight on the same leg with the same airline just 10 mins later. Rather than put us [my family] onto the flight 10 mins later they suggest I fly a day earlier on the prior leg stay over night [I would have to organise and pay for all transfers and accommodation] and take a flight the next morning four hours earlier than our original flight.
Even when I find the flight 10 mins later than our original cancelled flight they then try to force me to take a flight 4 hours later which would have required us to have a 7-hr stop over after traveling for 20 odd hours. The fact that I have paid accommodation and organised people to meet us at our final destination and have a long trip and have paid for business and premium economy is completely irrelevant. In short, they do not act for their customer, they act for CheapOair and the airlines ONLY. They don't care about their customer and what is best for them.
4. They are practiced in misleading and deceptive conduct. I have found them lying to me on numerous occasions. First they said to me I have to take the much earlier flight or later flight because the new flight 10 mins after my cancelled flight did not have premium economy but the earlier and later ones did. Not true. None of them had premium economy. Actually in my checking other premium economy flights have also been changed to economy without them saying a word. I have to google and check and then challenge them. They only admit the truth after you really push.
5. I will give them that they will answer the phone and or call you. In my case I have made or received 9 phone calls over three days totaling 180 mins. They have rung me at 11.30 pm. I go to bed early and wake early. I then had to ring them back twice and was up until 2 am trying to get them to book me on the flight 10 mins after our original flight time.
6. They don't follow instructions. 5 or 6 times I have said to them book me on the flight 10 mins after when I was scheduled to travel. And each time they said they will need to e-mail the airline and get back to you. 7. They have and publish that you should/can ring the airlines directly. But when I did and also spent hours on hold or with well meaning airline staff it went to the same place... "This can only be ticketed by Cheapoair, we can not change it!" Wasting my time for no reason and also very rude and frustrating.
I feel sorry for the employees in India. They loyally and very patiently follow a script they know or would suspect is ** and can only I assume have an underlying "profit for CheapOair" motive. They are polite. Never again. I have learnt my lesson. I will however use their website via google adverts to find good connections, but would I book through them again, very unlikely. On June 28 I booked a flight thru you on Frontier and on June 30 was notified it was cancelled per an email. I called and was told that my credit card would not accept the charges. This was not true: the credit card told me there were no charges put thru by CHEAPOAIR on that date. I needed to get my flight out to Chicago anytime before July 3rd to the 5th so I was flexible when we discussed my options for rebooking and she gave me some horrible times but that was the only reasonable fares which was already $150 more. I booked it and then got home to my computer within 10 minutes and saw that the fares I wanted was still available the original price but with a return a day earlier which I told her was an option originally. I immediately called CheapOair and was transferred 4 times and waited 20 minutes until I had some help.
I had a new reservation number for the Frontier booking that I found thru their site and so Jared who was assisting me booked that and then tried to get Spirit to refund me since they essentially lied when they said that this was the only available but Spirit would not. CheapOair also gets you to use them to book the seat assignment and told me that Frontier would charge me $60.00 but they could put it thru their seat request for 14.95 per person. So she charged me $29.90. I went on Frontier's site and was able to get any number of seats from $5 to $18 so that was another lie.
They also charged me $25.00 because when we went on their website and put in the reservation name it put my name in twice instead of my partners and so we had to do a name change with Frontier and they said that it was Frontier's charge which was not true. It was a glitch in their system when the reservation went thru that it printed the name twice. We had put it in correctly. My total time on the phone was 2 hours and 30 minutes.. Beware... Lots of hidden fees when you book with them... CHEAPOAIR adds on a lot of extra fees.

I click "purchase" within seconds of the last refresh and then the site told me the price had gone up and tickets were now going to be $200 more each!!! The total had been around $1000 and was now around $1600!!! I said forget that and in the meantime the company was calling on the cell phone to try to get us a deal... That was the biggest scam ever! I was furious.
There is no way the ticket prices went up in the three seconds it took to click "purchase". The tickets were never there for that price to begin with!!! The agent on the phone was not able to get us anything CLOSE to what we had originally. I ended up purchasing from Southwest and had NO baggage fees, happier with that purchase!!! I will never waste my time again on their website!! NEVER.

If you sell your company as a "travel agency", I expected you will give me support as any travel agency. However, even though I bought the travel insurance thru you, when there was a problem, your agent said you are only "brokers" of products and that CheapOair was not responsible for helping me out with that issue. If I had bought my ticket thru a regular travel agent, they would have made all the calls to help me out.

I am writing this first of all to ensure other passengers who are travelling with family don't face the same problem. I booked 4 tickets in Virgin America and made a payment with selected seats and the invoice showed me a bill of 909.$ CA. Later I found I was charged twice from my credit card, first for 834 and then for 123 which sums up to total of 838 which is roughly over 28$ over my invoice stated bill.
On a note, this is the first and last time of using CheapOair and I have never faced any kind of problem from Expedia or other websites. The authorities must take care of the matter in management.

I am new to CheapOAir. Perhaps this is routine at CheapOAir but it is uncommon in the marketplace. I messed up my reservations for three flights; totally my fault. I called to get it fixed and Ronnie spent about a half hour with me to fix my mistakes. No cost to me! Completely rebooked all my flights (this time for the right days). I grade this spectacular customer service. Top marks!

The agent who dealt with me was very courteous and nice. I will recommend my friends to this site. Thanks again. Not very often you find people take one best interest at heart. I think his name begins with C. He has a heart of gold. Keep up the good works.

The good: The flight was on time other than the weather-related delay on the return from Vegas. The staff did a nice job overall. The bad: Seats were uncomfortable, especially for a 4 hour+ flight. In the process of paying extra for my carry-on bag I was not given a receipt in either occasion. I would fly Frontier again weighing all of the above.

More than 30 days prior to flight I contacted the company to adjust the departure date only for my ticket and my husband. The individual on the line representing your firm spoke very choppy English but he made it clear to me the cost to make this change would be $400.00. I plan to contact the airline direct in order to make this known and hopefully to change our departure date w/o incurring this excessive fee.

On June 25th I booked three flights to Boston for Nov. 2. The agent I dealt with told me my total with fees, taxes and insurance would be $1,089. He did not say which currency so I thought that would be that amount that came off my VISA. Today I received my VISA bill and see that it was converted to American dollars which makes a total of $14,63.74. I tried to cancel these bookings but was told it had to be done within 24 hours. I didn't know until today that I needed to cancel. Had he told me that when I got my VISA bill it would be in American funds, I would not have made the reservations.
This booking was for three seniors, on limited incomes, and even $1,089 was expensive for us. I would like to cancel these reservations especially since, even though it is supposed to be CheapOair, I don't consider $14,63.74 that cheap. We are travelling with a group and others have gotten much cheaper rates. I was very happy on Sat. with the price I got and feel the agent was remiss in not mentioning that the fees would show up on my VISA in American funds. Could you cancel these reservations and the insurance? Thank you.

Your staff was wonderful. Burton and one other guy told me not to worry... I was going to cancel but Burton took over and told me "I will take care of you and your kids..." Impressive.

I recently used Cheapoair and it will be the last. Every time I called them, I was on hold for at least 20 minutes each time. You're almost guaranteed to speak with someone in India that is almost impossible to understand. I called the corporate number and after 20 minutes was transferred by someone with an Indian accent to their supervisor that had an Indian accent where I waited another 10 minutes. I spent 5 minutes with each of them trying to explain that I just wanted to make a formal complaint. They kept asking me my booking number. When the supervisor finally figured out what I wanted, he referred me to the website (what would have done without him). And if you make a mistake, forget about it. They'll definitely make sure you pay for it. I refuse to do business with companies that outsource as much as possible.

The rep was very reassuring as far as flight availability and finalizing the flight. She looked at multiple options patiently for me prior to deciding which flight.

CheapOair ESPECIALLY deceived us. In my 45 years of travel, I have NEVER heard of a more awful experience because of that company. American Airlines didn't help either. Let's see what excuse you have at CheapO: booking # ** for my daughter in law Fumiko **. BECAUSE OF THEM SHE MISSED HER LAX FLIGHT TO JAPAN AND HAD TO STAY OVERNIGHT IN L.A. Flights were supposed to be from SFO to Narita to Sapporo. OH... There was a teeny tiny "1" for the change of plane in L.A. A.A. even said, "Oh no she doesn't need to get off the flight". B.S. She did, but not in LAX, there was an added stop... in Orlando??? Before LAX? How sick is that? And for someone not an English speaker.
See, what really was the infuriating thing too, I called to CheapOCrappyAir 6 times. SIX TIMES, to confirm... "A stop in LAX"? "Yes". "No". "Yes". "No"... Even frickin' American Airlines GOT IT WRONG. FIRST time "yes", second time "no". Omg... Are you SERIOUS??? This still makes me feel sick. And no compensation of course.
I do see that this reservation was booked online so it appears the connections were an over sight.
