    Accepted flight change because tap cancelled flight but then had to cancel so paid CANCELATION FEE AND WAS TOLD had to purchase tickets within one year and was given credit of 4280.00. Now saying that I have to travel by November 5th. Was not explained that. Now everyone is playing blame game. If I don't resolve this I will be going to media and attorney general's office.     I booked a ticket from London To Doha. Price quoted around £390.00. Call customer service in order to book extra luggage. I have been charged extra £75.00 for 23KG addition luggage.     Booked my flight and didn't realize it was 8pm instead of 8am. Called to change the flight. They said I couldn't. I explained that I had purchased the trip insurance. They said I still couldn't do it and then put me on hold for a while. Came back said they can change the flight. I would lose something like $25. I received an email and one time password to be refunded $112.75. Was told it would take no longer than 14days. It has now been 22days (17 business days) and no refund.

    Called cheapo twice, billing once, and finally called spirit, because cheapo said it was between spirit and my bank. Spirit says "you have no money being refunded to you. You have a $65 voucher that expires in a couple weeks." At no point was I contacted or told this. Just told to "keep waiting, your refund is being processed." Not the case. If I had known this I never would have changed my flight. I'm paying full price for 2 round trip flights. I may as well have bought the ticket and set it on fire. I will never use CheapOair again. I've used many other sites before with no problems (kayak, expedia, orbitz). I will forever regret trying this one. The only reason I used it is because I couldn't afford anything else. I will never recommend this site to anyone. And I suggest you don't use it either.

    Joshua, very sorry for the inconvenience, we have reviewed your case, and the agent did cancel the booking directly with Spirit airlines, however, they only canceled it, they were to void it so that you would get your refund of $101.20. At this time, we are going to reimburse you back the $84.20 in the fare difference and $25.00 non refundable cancel fee, and the insurance. The other $17.00 is our original processing fee which is non refundable. Our apologies for the inconvenience.

    I booked an international flight through CheapOair about a month ago. I was notified about a week later via email that the flight had been cancelled and they gave me an alternative flight. The alternative flight had me losing an entire critical day in my trip, so I declined the recommendation. I then called CheapOair to confirm all of this and they said they'd requested a refund to the airlines and it would take up to 48 hours and that they (CheapOair) would notify me once all was good to go and my refund would go through.

    Since then, three weeks later, I've had to call back multiple times. I've not once received an email or call from them confirming anything about the refund. After my most recent call, which lasted almost an hour, multiple transfers between the same departments, I was told that the refund could take up to 60 days to go through, which I find unacceptable. They told me to contact the airline in which the flight was through, I did, and they told me that CheapOair was responsible for issuing the refund. Again, I called back CheapOair and was given the runaround and have not been given any clear direction about my refund.

    The fact that not one person, from all the back and forth from their departments, hasn't been able to give me a solid answer or expedite my refund, is beyond frustrating, disappointing, and extremely nerve wrecking. Feeling like your money ($1200) is possibly floating around somewhere unknown, is terrifying. I kick myself for believing the positive reviews this travel company has, and I hesitate to EVER book with CheapOair again. Wish my luck, internet, on hopefully getting my refund back.

The agents did advise you they would check with the airline and to contact us back within 24-48 hours to discuss the refund option after we check with Royal Maroc. However there must of been some miscommunication, because the refund takes 30-60 days once the airline authorize it. This has been explained to you, with the understanding the time frame it will take to receive the refund back to your charge card.

    The offices located in New Delhi India, are the biggest liars & rip off employees. This happened to me 3 times, if it was one time, I understand it could be sincere but not 3 times. Every time I did my research on CheapOair website to find a cheap international flight, eventually through hours putting into it, I found. In last 2 years I book 3 different flight with CheapOAir. Every time they found excuse to not confirm my ticket. 1st time after I purchased the ticket, one of their employee called me & said the price I paid is no longer exist & if I want that flight, I have to pay $200 more for the same ticket.

    After arguing back & forth, I was forced to cancel it. The same day I bought the same ticket from another agency for the same price, so I found out they were lying, so I let it go. 2nd time it was about 3 months ago, I bought a ticket & it was confirmed & they issued me e-ticket numbers. After a few days they send me an e-mail. They have to change me return flight from 1h:15 min layover to 12 hours layover in Istanbul. I said, "Why?". They said, "The airline has been sold out for that time besides 1h:15 m. The airline does not allow it for not having enough time to change the flight." I argued back & forth. They wanted more pay, more money for another flight for another day. I said, "No."

    Finally I called the airline. They told me I have been confirmed for my original flight that I have purchased. I couldn't believe it. The CheapOair employee in India had lied to me again. 3rd time which is 3 weeks ago, I purchased another round trip ticket at a good price. They called me & they said they cannot confirm it. I said, "Why?" Here goes again. The same old lies again. They used 3 different lies, 1st - "You don't have enough time to change your flight in Houston". I said I have been there & I know the airport. I have enough time to change my flight, then comes another lie - "You don't have enough time to change your flight in Istanbul, Turkey." I said, "I do have enough time."

    Finally we have to cancel your flight. Basically, they forced me to cancel my flight. Their office in India are liars, fraud & they try to sell you an expensive ticket while I could of paid originally $300 less. I wished US force them to shut down their offices in India completely. They are no good. They are destroying the way companies are doing business in US. They corrupting the good system we believe in & made US greatest customer service in the world. They are bringing poison to US economy! UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE THEY LET YOU TALK TO A SUPERVISOR!

    The reason I gave 3 stars was only because 3 days after I booked my flight was that I got an email saying my flight had changes. I agreed to the changes and they sent me an email saying it was accepted or confirmed one, with a confirmation number of **. When I check for the changes on my email they showed the exact times and flight number that my original flight showed. So I had to call CheapOair back to see if they really changed. They informed me that they did and even though the updated flight shows the same times it is actually different... Right now I have been so confused in making the flight reservations that I'm afraid I'll be stuck in Columbus Ohio when I get ready to return from Ohio. And I don't understand what I need to do or check in on my flight 24 hours ahead of time.

    Every airline allows a 24 hour free cancellation. CheapOair will still charge you for cancelling a flight even if requested within a hour of booking. But if you directly call the airline they will cancel it for free. CheapOair saves your credit card details without your permission and they will charge you without any confirmation on selecting seats which is non refundable even within an hour by CheapOair. But when I called the airline the next day I got the refund. CheapOair has a bad customer service and they do not stick to the airline policy.

    Back on 9/21/2016 I bought ticket with option for free refund if canceled within 24 hours. The flight was advertised wrongfully and it wasn't what I was looking for so I called 30 min after I made the booking and canceled. I was told that within 14 days I will get my money back.     This company is the worst and left me feeling taken. When I tried to change the flight they wanted to charge 200.00 fee for the change and said the new flight was 464 more. I ended up booking the flight myself for 85 less than that. When I asked them to just cancel the original reservation they said it can only be canceled after paying 25.00 additional fee and that we had to just be a no-show if we didn't wish to pay the fee.

    This was after multiple attempts to reach them by phone, two times they hung up on me, once we could hear people talking but no one spoke to us. After that we would only get a recording that said they noticed we had called several times today and redirected to another extension where we were hung up on as soon as we told them we wanted to cancel the reservation. We will never use this poor excuse for an online travel site again and advise that you use the airline sites directly first and this company last. You may save money as well as time.

    I needed to cancel the hotel reservations because other arrangements were made. One of the agents said they would charge me a booking fee which would be deducted from the refund amount. I didn't feel I should be charged a booking fee because the reservations were made two days earlier and the room was needed for the last week in November. During the conversation I realized the agent was no longer on the line, so I called again and this time an agent said she would ask her supervisor; I felt that was just to get me off the line but she really did something. I waited a moment, she came back on line and said the fee would be wavered and I would receive the full refund.

    Words can't say how happy I was to finally get someone to listen and try to help me in this situation. This agent should get all five stars because she listened and really tried to help. It would have been so easy to be the other way. I don't remember the good soul's name but in my mind I send her million-fold thanks for being honest, caring. The incident was going in the direction of being another unhappy customer. One soul can make a world of difference, thank you.

    I am very dissatisfied and perplexed by CheapOair changing my price 4 hours after my purchase. This has never happened to me as a consumer. Let me explain... I used Hipmunk to search for flights in Mexico. CheaOoair came up as the best option. I booked two tickets for a short flight within Mexico for approx. $60 each. I received a booking confirmation email. Great. I'm done and can stop stressing over my travel planning. Not quite! 4 hours later, I received an email from CheapOair stating that the price had changed. The price had increased to $90 per ticket. (an increase of 50% after the purchase is final!) They gave me the option to pay the extra money or cancel. I tried to cancel but their website was completely broken and I could not complete the cancellation. I then tried to chat with customer support agents. I received no reply. Finally, I made a roaming international call on my cell to their customer support to cancel the ticket.

    Then, I booked directly on the airline's website for $65 (nearly the original price)! In summary, I am shocked, disappointed, and confused that CheapOair could:

    Increase their price by 50% hours after a purchase is final, Increase their price inexplicably while the airline still sells it near the original price, Have a broken web app handling such a sensitive issue. I will never use this service again and advise others to stay away.

After reviewing your reservation, we found that the airline Mayfair had denied the reservation at that cost, and was not allowing us to confirm, or issue the ticket.     When you book through a travel company your ticket has EXTREME costly limitations. The staff when you call are in India. Or some country that English is a hard language. So if you are a person who is voting for Trump you should not use CheapOair because it is not really in the USA (It is a job sent over seas). It cost you a ton more money if you have to change your ticket. Book with the AIRLINE!!! The airlines even if they have an policy of $200 change fee they can make an exception. Some airlines give you all your money in credit (Jet Blue).

    Also the worst is spending a very very long time talking to persons you cannot understand and actually start yelling at you because of their enunciation. Also, depending on the representative you get they do not tell you the same information. I know everyone has to learn how to do things but it is frustration and time consuming and also $$$$$. Please save yourself from travel agent fee and many many more fees if you need to change something. I can recall about 3 years ago I used them and had the same exact problem and the one other time. After a few years I forget what happened and go back and make a mistake. Has cost me $$$$$. Shop Smart.

    Recently, I booked a flight incorrectly. Within an hour and a half I realized my mistake. I called customer service # And was pleasantly surprised to get an agent that was OUTSTANDING! He reassured me that he would take care of it, and he did. He rebooked me on a flight that was correct, and confirmed a refund on my previous purchase. It took a little while, which is understandable, but all along he made me feel he was really devoted to the needs of the passenger. Thank you for having such quality customer service personnel!!!

    I originally bought my ticket in the beginning of September. However a month later my daughter decided to go with me. I looked online and there were still seats available on my flight for 418 plus taxes. I decided to call CheapOair to see if we could be seated together. I was informed that on one flight that was possible. I was still charged 15.00 for that. There was also a 146.00 charge on my banking statement. When I asked about it afterward I was informed that they can charge from 5.00 to 200.00 for consultation fees. I was quoted 500+ for the ticket, but I thought it was a mistake. I was not told about consultation fees. The people I spoke with were very rude when I called to ask about it. I will never use this site again. It's a ripoff if you use the phone. I will also be filing a complaint with Yelp. Thanks.

    I cancelled some flights in plenty of time. I asked for a refund and CheapOair asked me to send my medical documents. I have sent countless emails to them - each one with a PDF attached (as requested). In two months I have received a Delivery Notice Notification (Failure) six times. In two months I have received a Delivery Notice Notification (Failure) three times. I have called three telephone numbers on their UK website. Each time a recorded message would say this number has changed without giving me a new number. (What sort of company advertises phone numbers on their websites that don't work?) I have tried their online chat facility and made no progress. I have come to the conclusion that these guys deliberately make it difficult to make contact with them apart from a booking. THEY ARE TERRIBLE.

    Have a 62 year old fly from Haneda to Osaka only to find I didn't have a plane change - I had a airport change! English speaking I had to get my bag then find a ticket booth, buy a ticket to catch a 70 minute bus ride to another airport!!! The bus was late because of rain. Had to run to find the counter to check in, run thru TSA the immigration, then get a tram and get to my flight just in time!!! I asked for a aisle seat. I got a window seat with two Japanese young couple that were nice but got drunk. The lady had to have help by the flight attendants halfway thru the flight!! She was on the floor!!!     I had booked ticket with CheapOair. Now because of my medical conditions I can no longer travel at the selected dates. I have been calling and chatting with the customer service staff for over a week now but I am getting no results at all. It's difficult to reach the manager. If you want to complain about the services and the supervisor Kanchan and customer service rep Paulin are rude and misleading customers and worse customer service. Really disappointed!!! if there was a negative I would give to them. They serve customers with "I DON'T CARE" attitude.

    It's been 5 days from Friday 7th October my query is still passed from dept to dept. I was given a quote by Zackery for cancellation which I was happy to pay the cancellation fees of $100 USD and get the refund but the greedy staff now changed the statement and claim there is no refund??? HOW MISLEADING!!! They give me a wait time of 12 hours the first time for the manager to call back and I got this rude supervisor who does not even care to hear out the customer!!! Then another wait period for 6 hours was given before a call back then another. This is a total of 1 week and my issue is still not resolved. REALLY DISAPPOINTED. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

    I had significant problems with CheapOair this summer. They issued a ticket in the wrong name. I had to buy new tickets on one airline and pay a service fee to change the name on another airline, adding over $600 to the cost of the trip... CheapOair assumed no responsibility, claiming it was all my fault despite the fact that the email confirming the ticket was issued in the correct name, the customer representative I spoke with on flight day simply said there was no question it was my fault and that I would have to pay more. They offered to follow through with one airline (for an extra fee) which I assented to. However, they never followed through and I had to deal with the airline directly.

    CheapOair still billed me for a service they did not deliver, a problem I was able to successfully address with the help of the bank that issues my credit card. When I returned from my trip, I tried to send a complaint complete with documentation, but letters and emails were returned as undeliverable. Phonecalls ended up transferred to busy signals. When I finally did get someone to talk to me, she said it was simply all my fault and disregarded my evidence. CheapOair turned out to be a very poor deal.

I called COA to request for a refund for the last 1 month without any success. They keep blaming that the airline is not responding.     I purchased assigned seating from CheapOAir for a SF to Miami flight for my son. I paid CheapOAir for this. He got to the airport, was put in a middle seat. American didn't recognize the "paid seating". This happened on both flights. CheapOAir refunded $13.95 of the $43.95 I paid and said that American airline doesn't refund paid-for assigned seating and I would need to take my complaint up with them. Nowhere during the booking process did CheapOAir say "your assigned seats are NOT guaranteed and your money will NOT be refunded". Otherwise who would pay them the extras money? I have generally had good service with them, but this has left a bad taste. Note: I tried to add the receipt both as an html and a word file, but the file type was not allowed...

    When I spoke to your female agent after I booked my flight she told me that my charge did not go through. Said she would have to re-book it. I agreed (Lie.) I see it on my bank statement. Then she informed me that it would be less than the original price. (Lie. It was approximately $10.00 more). Due to a medical problem (extreme nerve damage to my right arm) I do not like anyone sitting on my right side. I prefer to have a window seat on the right side of the plane. She quoted me a price of $408.10. When I printed my billing details I saw that she charged me $518.10. This is fraud.

    I completely canceled my reservations with your company and will never use them again. I booked my flight with American Airlines and saved over $200.00 compared to Cheap Flights prices. Also, American lets you take a carry-on bag free or $25.00, $50.00 round trip, to check it in. You wanted $110.00 for a carry-on. CHEAP FLIGHTS NEVER AGAIN.

    Customer opted to fly on Spirit airlines, they charge $25.00 - $50.00 for bag fees which is not a CheapOair charge, the customer agreed to the charges. He was quoted $418.00 which included our $10.00 service fee in which get's charged separate, he also purchased trip insurance, and wanted to confirm seats, in which Spirit also charges. He did end up canceling and received a full refund.

    Over the last few years, our organization has used CheapOair for literally hundreds of overseas flights for humanitarian purposes. Last month we had booked 3 tickets from Washington DC to Amman, Jordan for a week-long medical trip. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to re-route our trip to go to Istanbul. The original tickets cost around $800 per person so in order to see if we could re-route the tickets, I was in a live chat a few days ago with a CheapOair representative, Paulin. She said this would be possible and she quoted a fee of $1488 to make the changes. The live chat had taken about an hour and I had to leave for a meeting and I asked her if we could continue our conversation in about 30 minutes and she said she would call me and then she confirmed my phone number. She never called me back.

    Later that day we called with the same request and they quoted us a price of $2700 PER PERSON to change the tickets. We tried to make sure we were hearing her right in that surely she must have meant that the cost was the grand total for all 3 of the tickets and she assured us that this was per person. This was in addition to the $800 we had already paid. We mentioned to her that we could buy tickets online from Washington to Istanbul for around $850 and that would obviously be a lot cheaper just to cancel the original tickets and re-book.

    For some reason that didn't make any difference and she just kept insisting that the change fee was $2700 per person. That would be a total of $8100 for 3 tickets to Istanbul plus $2400 for the three tickets that we had previously purchased! I don't understand why they gave us two VERY different prices to change the destination and I certainly don't understand how it would be so much cheaper just to get new tickets rather than to change the old ones. I don't think we will be using CheapOair any more.

    I am devastated. Two days ago, (10/04/16) I made a reservation through CheapOair for a flight from Grand Junction, CO to Omaha, NE. The flight price came up great and I read the itinerary carefully before I clicked on it to make my purchase. I paid with my Visa/Debit card. All went through fine. But when I checked my email for the confirmation of my reservation the departure airport had been switched to LAX (Los Angeles, CA) because Frontier Airlines does not serve Grand Junction, CO.

    I immediately called customer service and asked them to correct their mistake. I was told that it was too late to make the correction because it had already been put through the computer to the airline. I explained very carefully to the customer service rep that obviously I could not use a California airport for my departure when I live in Colorado. He said he could reroute my departure to go out of Colorado Springs which is more than 250 miles from Grand Junction and not feasible for me. I asked him to cancel the reservation and give me a full refund. The rep said he could not give me a refund but could give me a $111.00 credit to be used on Frontier Airlines within 90 days. I told him the credit was useless to me because I would never drive 250 miles to use Frontier Airlines.

    This situation was a double tragedy for me because I needed to get a flight immediately to go see my critically ill father in Nebraska. Now not only have I lost what may be my last chance to see my Dad alive, I also lost the only money I had scraped up to make the trip. I am heartbroken. This is a travesty. A computer mistake that I had nothing to do with. And CheapOair would not or will not make it right. CHEAP is right... NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE CheapOair.

    I selected the exact dates and flights that I needed to complete my trip and after I selected them, the website changed the dates to what IT considered more desirable for me without informing me of the same, which I didn't realize until I was emailed the itinerary and looked carefully at the dates. It necessitated 1.5 hours of chat to get the problem resolved. NOT ALL CUSTOMERS WANT THE CHEAPEST RATES.     The website does not actually change the dates you select. We do offer flexible date options first if the fare is cheaper. We also alert you to this in 3 different areas that you have chosen a flexible date and all are highlighted in green, and yellow, as well as on the payment page, and at the end that you saves $$ by choosing a flexible date. If you call back within 24 hours you can cancel and receive a refund in which this customer did, and he rebooked the flights he needed.

    I had called because I received an alert that my schedule got changed. Due to the change I decided to move my return day a few days back. When I called I was transferred to the sales department to make the change. Someone answered but did not say anything. I heard background noise twice but it them seemed like they put the mic on mute. I was put on hold twice during the call and eventually the call was dropped by whoever it was on the other line.

    I then called back and the sales rep told me that it would cost 300$+ to change the date. He said that if I would like I could speak the airline directly to see if they could help. I said sure, and asked him if he could email me the phone number because my hands were full because I was walking my dog and did not have a pen or paper ready. He said ok, and that I would receive the email in a couple of minutes after the call. The email NEVER arrived.

    Next, I call the airline and they confirm the costs of changing so I decide to buy the tickets instead. I go online and see the price is 321$. I click on them and fill out all of the information, payment info and click book. Right after I book it it sends me back to the front page. I then call CS AGAIN, and the sir tells me that the order did not go through. So I search for the same flight and the price rose to 350$. The CS rep told me there was not much that could be done and he says he saw the price as 341$ and I tell him ok I'll take it. THEN OUT OF NOWHERE, he says it got increased to 346$. I then ask him to check out now because I didnt want the price to increase any further. We then do the checkout and he apparently gives me a flight watcher for free. THAT IS A LIE.

    Ive purchased tickets with you guys before and the fee was nowhere near 50$. The flight cost was ~640$ plus a 50$ FEE?! No, my flight was originally about 640$ before I had called and after I called because of that system error, I was charged extra.     Three months prior to a planned trip to Vancouver BC I booked flights through CheapOair. Two days later I realized that I was booked to go to Victoria BC oppose to the selected Vancouver; I called to see if I could change the flights and was told that I should have made the call within 24 hrs. After explaining that I was unaware of the problem until now, and that I did not physically input Victoria, I was told that my choices were to pay an additional $200 per person and the price difference based on the airlines price (I also paid for flight insurance) which would double the price I paid.

    I then began looking at the cost to commute between Victoria and Vancouver and hotels. Later (3 weeks) before my departure, I called CheapOair again to ensure that I understood the total cost to make the change, after two calls and some time waiting on the phone I was told that they could only change the dates not the destination. The rep. also mentioned that the system default is to check nearby airports. So because of their default I am flying into another area and paying additional cost to stay there (hotel, the flight from Victoria to Vancouver).

    Although, I admit I choose the flight, I didn't know that the site was searching for other airports, I would have never intentionally made that choice especially since I am going out of the country and to an area I have never been. Also CheapOair should have told me that the change could never have been made, instead on three occasions they left me with the impression that the destination could be changed. Lastly why did I pay for flight insurance which was not a help. My first call to them was within 48 hrs of booking the flights, I guess customer service is not important to CheapOair. Either way CheapOair has their money and they have definitely lost a customer.

    I booked a flight for $606.11. I unfortunately had to cancel, because the work trip was no longer happening. I called to cancel and they mentioned there would be a $100 cancellation fee and that I would receive a credit for $454.40 to use until 9/25/2017. That would be fine, however below is the what is mentioned in their email: "When you use the credit, there will be an airline penalty of $200.00 per person, plus any applicable fare difference. This credit is non-transferable and non-refundable , and may only be used by the person(s) named on the original ticket, regardless of the name on the credit card that purchased the ticket(s)." So I really do not get a credit besides ($54.40) and with the cancellation fee my $506.11 trip ended up costing $706.11! I am not sure how CheapOair can get away with this, but I would like a fair solution instead of owing more money.

    The price listed when I first went to book was the price that's listed on the American Airlines website, but all of a sudden, when I go to pay for my tickets, the prices jumps almost over $200! Each and every single time I would back out and try it again, thinking it was a fluke, but you're scamming people out of money by making them think it's the low price in the beginning and then somewhat forcing them to agree to the extortionist price and the end right before hitting agree. Your company know what it's doing and I'll be sure to never make this mistake of using this service again since it seems this will not be resolved.     Called to change cancellation, agent gave me a wrong price for changing the tickets. I had to go online to book a new ticket and the price of the new ticket was $300 less than what the agent told me. I tried to cancel my existing ticket, had to call over 5 times. Every time I call I get a different agent and I get different answers for my questions. Employees they're very incompetent, they don't know the guidelines or policies for the airlines they deal with.

    Even when I was transferred to a supervisor I was promised I will get a call back & she didn't so I had to call them back. I will lose $500 because they are unable to provide clear, unified answers regarding cancellation & transferring credit. Would not recommend CheapOair to anyone because of their crappy customer service.

    This customer called just a few days before departure and wanted to make a change the agent quoted her for the date of Oct 2, the fee to change, and the add collect for the new dates. Pax denied. She called back, switched the dates to either oct 1,2 so this agent gave her the price for oct 1, including the penalty and fare difference, she disagreed and hung up. She called back now wanted to cancel, remember the two previous calls she never asked to cancel, now she wanted to cancel and hold for credit, agent quoted her $50.00 cancel fee. She called back again, now only wants to cancel her mom because she will never travel again, and Salma wanted her moms ticket value to go into her name, which tickets are non transferable. The supervisor said she would call her back, it was past the hour, the supervisor was on hold with the airline, and didn't get back to Salma right away, so she went ahead and already bought another ticket. This all happened at the last minutes, each time the customer called, different request, so yes, she did get different responses. But I have reviewed all 5 calls, and the agent's responded according to her questions, but frankly, with all the changes in conversation I can see where it got confusing. But the agent's acted and responded appropriately, and it just wasn't what the customer wanted to hear.

    When booking on the Cheapoair secure website my credit card was not charged correctly. After an email and phone discussion with Cheapoair I was asked to contact my bank to get them to approve the transaction. My bank informed me that there was no reason why the card could not be charged. 2 further phone calls with Cheapoair established that they were not satisfied that the payment was authorized because I was buying tickets for my daughter and her friend. They finally accepted my approval on the phone and processed the payment 3 days later.     According to what I know Delta and AeroMexico are partners, and we are talking about the same plane, same flight, same time. Everything is the same but Delta and AeroMexico and the $100 difference. I think they are just playing games. And I am very sorry I did business with them.     Was looking for a flight for 3 for October 7th - October 9th. So, naturally like we all do, those are the dates I put into CheapOair's website. I was shocked to see a cheap flight for Spirit airlines at the top. While I don't prefer to fly Spirit it's a short flight so why not right? WRONG! After I get to the checkout, it is listed as FLEXIBLE dates. So I got tickets for October 10-11th. That's just simply ridiculous, such a bait and switch. But, it gets even better!

    I have since then, called and been on hold now for over 1 hour with no one responding. Their call in says to chat with them, so I tried. No one is on the other end! AND, I send in an inquiry only to get an email telling me the email was UNDELIVERABLE!!! WTF! I'll be calling them again tomorrow simply due to the lack of ethics, and I'll be disputing with my credit card company. Folks this is simple. Stay away, don't trust them, go to literally ANY other site. They have zero customer service, don't seem to care, but will certainly bait and switch you trying to take your money. Never, ever use cheapoair. EVER.

    On 13 September 2016, I purchased plane tickets for my daughter to fly to San Antonio on 1 October. Today is the 29 SEP and I tried to print out plane ticket for her. I opened my email and found the email from CheapOair. I clicked on the link to open the itinerary. When you open the Itinerary there were 3 BIG orange buttons that said "select seats". I clicked on the button and it pulled up seating. I clicked on a seat and it automatically charged me money for a seat. I had no intention to pay for a specific seat. I already purchased tickets. There was no Confirm button. No back button. Nothing! I call the customer service number and the gal insist she can not help me. Some other department does that and gave me a 888-897-0205 and goes straight to voicemail. The Social Media war is on now!

    If you need to change your itinerary and don't mind paying the super high extra charges CheapOair is not the company you want to go with. They really suck with customer service or caring for the customers and even listening to customer concerns. I needed to leave Greece to Barcelona couple day early because of a family emergency and I called them I was put on hold or transfer and the call hung. They didn't bother to call me back. I called several times and I told them I am using a 20 euro calling card so to please rush and to book the earliest flight back- just put me on a long wait and hung up.

    Then I tried to reach them online through CheapOair's state of the art "chatroom". It took me 2 hours to get someone to respond back with a quote and couldn't even book anything. The person that I chatted with promised that someone will contact me back and no one did. I waited 24hours. Then finally I emailed them with my concerns and asked them to change my flight date and again no response. So I ended up having to book my flight with a different company. SO DISAPPOINTED. Never using CHEAPOAIR to book any of my trips again. WORST SERVICE.

    I was trying to book our holiday travel. Finding the flights was easy enough. Chose the flights based on price. After choosing the flights and input the traveler's information and payment information I selected the "BOOK" button. I immediately received a message that due to constantly changing flight costs the flights went up by over $500. So obviously I didn't finalize the purchase which was one of the options. I booked the flights with my husband's credit card and I was required to input his phone number because it was the one associated with the credit card.

    Immediately after not continuing with the purchase a sales agent called my husband and insisted that I made the purchase and needed to confirm. He then demanded to speak with me. My husband explained to him that he was on his way to work and I was not in the car. The gentleman kept insisting that I made the purchase and the purchase needed to be finalized. If the ticket prices changed that much in the time that it took to input 3 passenger informations and credit card information, then why was I able to go directly to the airline sites and book the exact same flights for the original cost that CheapOair had quoted? I will never use that site again and I will definitely tell everyone I know about this experience and recommend that they not waste their time with CheapOair as well.

    I have used CheapOair few times before and I sincerely recommend you to STAY AWAY from booking thru them. I had to modify my reservation that was booked for 1800 and I had to pay an extra 1000 dollars to do that because they left me with no other option and their customer service is so bad. They literally threatened me that if I don't go with that $1000 change of fare option, I would not get any other option and it will be more costly if I call them later. I can provide all the proofs, but I will NEVER use CheapOair again in my life and I don't want someone else to face the same problem that I faced.

    They won't pay a single penny if you want to cancel and if you want to modify any dates, they will take you for a ride. I don't want to go on explaining all the discussion that happened but trust me, DO NOT book with them. At the max, they might offer you a $50 less ticket. It's much more worth to book directly with the airlines or with any other trusted agent, if you know someone. As a last peaceful message for any CheapOair devotees, if you are 100% confident that there will be no change or no doubts on the baggage policies etc, you can try if you want but as I said it's not worth risking it at all for a small fare difference.

    I booked a hotel with this company and they charged my credit card, although the hotel was never sent the reservation from CheopOair! Customer care phone numbers leave you on hold for endless minutes only to be transferred to another endless hold time. I spent 6 hours the weekend before.     Kelleys hotel was confirmed through a 3rd party reservation site that we used for her hotel, we also received a confirmation number. When Kelley called Sept 5 to check on the reservation, the hotel denied the booking at a later date, because she didn't qualify for the rate that she booked. We immediately contacted the hotel and also the company we went through, and the hotel did get confirmed for her the room at the same rate on Sept 8,. Customer was notified and she also was checking the hotel directly with the confirmation we provided. We received this email from the hotel supplier on Sept 8.

    I clicked on the wrong seat selection when selecting my seats which I was charged $130 and instead of being able to cancel my order and correct my selection my only option was to submit and call to make corrections but was told I already hit submit and the order was received and cannot be refunded the amount. She could of unclicked the seat selection at any time, and started over with seats that were free of charge. At this time, we have gone to united airlines and requested they refund her the $130.00 premium economy seat that she purchased. That money goes directly to the airline, CheapOair does not get to keep it. Our apologies to her for the inconvenience this may of caused.

    After buying my ticket I discovered that one of my stop was done with another airline than the one I choose. So I called to have this changed. The proposal I got was completely different dates and quite more expensive (above 25% of the flight price). I asked for a minute to think about it (as we were two to travel, we needed to discuss the new dates and price). When I got back on the phone and told that at those condition we would not modify the tickets, the operator "John" told me that the transaction was done already and that it couldn't be undone unless I pay the changes again! After 10 minutes arguing, Me: "I never confirmed, I asked you to wait!" John: "Why did you call if you don't want to change?" John would not give me a manager, nor tell me his family name so I could track him. He told me to hang up and that his manager would call me back.

    I did not, and after another 10 minutes of arguing, John suddenly was capable of doing what was impossible a second before: leave my ticket as it was before the call, at no expenses at all. As I did not receive any notification from my bank, I believe he never did the transaction, and just lied to force the sale of the changes.
    Beware of the following tricks: John proposed to send me an email with the complicated details he told me on the phone so I could review them, and after said: "I've sent you an email, the transaction is done, it cannot be undone". John asked me if I will pay using the same card as I used to buy the ticket, I said yes; and after he used that sentence to say I authorized the transaction even if at that point I had yet no clue of what the changes would involve in terms of price or dates.

    Extremely unpleasant qualified forced sales techniques. Do not use this company ever!

    I wish I did not purchase my ticket at CheapOair. On their website, the best price guarantee policy says if you found a better deal, email them with a screenshot within 24hr. I even chatted with an online representative and she told me to do the same, but I sent in the email with all the details within 2 hours after I booked my flight, and got no response.

    After I waited I got no response, I then called customer service and they told me it has been over 24hrs and they can't refund me the difference amount of the ticket. But I sent in an email to the email address they told me on their website, the policy is on their website: just send in an email, it did not tell me to call, but I contacted customer service online to make sure and they told me the same thing, "Just Send In An Email to that email address." But I got no response! And now they're blaming it on me because it has been over 24hrs. If the policy said call in instead of just email I would understand, but why would they do this? Finally they said $290 available in my account... Next time I can utilize these amount with same American Airlines.     WE WILL NOT CHEAPOAIR AGAIN. CheapOair sold us an intercontinental ticket with a 1-bag limit and an international ticket with a zero-bag limit with NO WARNING. The baggage rules online are hard to find and apply to our situation, and we were caught unaware. We were forced to pay an extra $500 for baggage on our 4 flights. We could not get help online after the first flight. We contacted CheapOair from Italy after the first flight and received no support. We could not get help from the airlines (Air Berlin and HOP). The airlines said the problem was with CheapOair and not with them.

    The Linate and Malpensa Airports in Milan handled the problem differently. Linate took 1.5 hours to process a credit card payment because the baggage ticket office could not gain access to the airline computer system... We almost missed our flight. Malpensa required a cash payment. In neither airport was there a well-grooved pathway for handling this problem.

    These hidden baggage charges are dishonest. Customers should be informed in detail of the baggage restrictions before they purchase the ticket and sign off that they understand them. Both airlines exonerated themselves by saying "everything was online". If it was, it certainly was not easy for us to find. Customer support was non-existent either online or by telephone. It is a definite "buyer beware" situation. WE WILL NOT CHEAPOAIR AGAIN.

    Today, I called them to reschedule my tickets, and while the new booking for the rescheduled date Dec 3rd on CheapOair site for the same Eitihad airline flight are $872 less than my earlier ticket price $1130 still the CheapOair is charging me $578 per ticket, while the return date still remains the same. Also be aware of this CheapOair site. It says Free cancellation policy but it is scam. I have the booking number and details if Trustpilot site need it. I did not see way to enter it if you want to verify. Earlier I have called 2 times to cancel the ticket. First time under 48 hrs still they did not cancel. I was told that I can have 1 time free reschedule, but no cancellation. Next time when I called they disregarded their earlier commitment. Note this booking site is trying to earn unfair money in rescheduling tickets rather than charging the fare difference if any. In this case I should receive the credit back as fare is less for updated dates.

    I booked a ticket from Montreal to Mumbai for 13th October 2016 on 12th September 2016. The price was 724 CAD. But after booking they changed my date to 10th October 2016 (this was explained as I opted for flexible date).     At the time of booking I was told that I will get Economy Premium seating at Economy price by the booking agent.     I happily found and booked airline tickets for my son and my brother to go to NY to see colleges. At the time of booking, I remember the CheapOair website specifically indicating that I should go ahead and book, and if I needed to change it later, there would be no problem, I could cancel the booking. I naively believed the website.

    My brother works in South Sudan and I learned this morning that he would not be here on the travel date. I called up, to cancel his booking and to book a seat for me, instead, to accompany my son. At first, the customer service person told me that the ticket was not refundable. I explained that the website indicated that I had the right to cancel. She told me that cancellation was only possible in the first four hours. I asked to speak to her supervisor and she cut me off. I called again, and again spoke to a customer service representative and went through the same conversation except this time the woman told me that I could get a credit. Again, I asked to speak to the supervisor and again I was cut off.

    I then called the airline and was told that CheapOair should handle everything including the cancellation because that was their cancellation policy. I called CheapOair again and was unfortunate enough to be "helped" by a man who said his name was Colton. I identified myself and my booking and his tone turned decidedly hostile. I repeated everything that had been discussed before and told him that I needed to know what the options were. He responded that there were no options. That the ticket I wanted to cancel was "wasted." I asked if what I had been told about a travel credit was erroneous information and he just repeated that the ticket was wasted. I then told him that I wanted to speak to his supervisor and he told me that I had already spoken to a supervisor. I told him that, in fact, I had been cut off twice, but never spoke to a supervisor.

    Aside from refusing to explain to me the option to receive a credit in lieu of the cancelled ticket, his tone was unnecessarily disrespectful and mocking. Keep in mind that they had taken my money and I was getting nothing but his insolence in return. It seemed that he was picking a fight with me and he made it clear that he had no intention of helping me to resolve this issue. He asked me twice if I wanted him to repeat the answer he had given me indicating that he had no intention of reasoning or seeking a solution.

    All I wanted was someone reasonable to talk to who would help me find a solution. A wasted ticket is not a solution, and under the circumstances may be considered a fraudulent business practice. Colton was clearly incapable of resolving the matter in civilized fashion. He had no intention of even attempting to do so. He was just interested in getting my money in exchange for nothing. Colton should not be involved in customer service of any kind he has neither the temperament nor the disposition to help anyone.

    I had booked family vacations and business travel through CheapOair in the past, but will never do so again because they hire people like Colton. That tells me that their business philosophy is to allow customers to "waste" their tickets after convincing them that they should book through them because they can always cancel their bookings if things do not work out. I wonder how much of their business is built on getting paid and providing nothing in return.

    The customer can cancel a reservation at any time, however, he was not entitled to a refund due to the fact the ticket is non refundable. He misunderstood what cancellation meant, compared to receiving a refund. We would not deny any one to cancel a reservation! Therefore only a credit to be used for future travel is the rules of the ticket, and this comes directly from the airline.     I contacted CheapOair because there was a problem with my attempt to make a booking and, more concerning, the amount that I was going to be charged was more than the price quoted on the company's website. My experience with the staff member who took the call was unpleasant to say the least. He tried to claim that the costs were allowed even though not disclosed in the booking process. I informed him that I believed the attempt to add in undisclosed costs was deceptive and misleading and probably contravened consumer laws. He then offered to "discount" the amount but I said it was still more than the amount quoted on the website. Initially he was condescending. When I challenged him, he became rude and dismissive. I told him that I did not want any further dealings with CheapOair. Despite this, I was bombarded with emails from the organisation.

    I sent emails requesting that my email address be removed and received an email that this would be done. I still kept getting the emails so I sent 5 or 6 emails demanding removal of my address. Still the emails came so I rang and was told the matter would be sorted. Still the emails continue! I have rated my experience with one star but only because there is not option for a no star rating.

    I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH MY CHEAPOAIR experience. I BOOKED 4 bookings for my Euro trip this month, September 26-October 12. Had I not called my bank, I wasn't informed that ALL 4 bookings were cancelled 3 weeks before my flight! They told me they couldn't confirm my credit card details as I booked 4 flights consecutively and they thought it was a fraud. And when I called their HK customer service support center to ask for help, I was told there was nothing left to be done and that I should book through another agency. I am very disappointed, I have never been this stressed with a flight booking and I have never been more disappointed with an agency. Had I not called my bank and relied on the "your booking is confirmed" info on their site, I would have been at 4 different airports in Europe waiting at the airport for a flight I wasn't a part of.

    I'm posting this so that travellers will know that THERE IS such a thing as this unbelievable event. Now I'm left with less than 3 weeks to book for flights, more expensive at that all because I was never informed the moment CHEAPOAIR decided to cancel my bookings. Not a single email was sent to me. And even if I did check the bookings on their site, the information provided was not updated. Their site will still show you your booking and inform you that it is CONFIRMED even if it were cancelled.

    Let this be a warning to all those booking with this agency. I hope next time, CheapOair can do something about this. Cancellations happen. Those things happen. Nobody is perfect. But next time, I hope you can inform your clients so that they will be able to find alternative solutions and not panic weeks before their flight, assist your clients with these kind of events, not just leave them to find another agency to book with after all the stress they've been put through. This is the last time I'm booking with CheapOair.

    I have bought a round trip airline tickets to Orlando for my whole family. But plans had changed because of an urgent operation schedule and I had to go to Minneapolis with my daughter earlier than my scheduled flight because I had to get an operation there. Then I was going to go to Orlando with my daughter and join to my husband and older daughter there and four of us were going to go back to Turkey all together.

    I called CheapOair to change my and my daughter's going ticket. They asked more than my original purchasing price only to change the one-way for my and my daughters ticket. They told me that I had to buy those tickets because otherwise I can not use back to Turkey tickets. I had no other choice and I paid what they are asking. They changed the tickets through Canada without asking me or warning me that I should have a Canada visa and I learned in the airport that we needed transit Canadian visa to be able to fly to US through Canada. I couldn't afford to lose time to go to Minneapolis for preoperation tests. Then I had to buy the same ticket third time from them while I was at the Istanbul airport. They had no pity at all while they are asking prices.

    I understood that their aim is only to make money as much as possible when they catch you and NO CONCERN ABOUT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION or to serve the customer. This was our first purchasing from them even we have been flying very often for business and vacation and never seen such a company just trying to take advantage of any instance.

    Anyway, next day my husband came with a round trip ticket bought directly from Turkish Airlines. When the time came that my husband had to leave, he saw that I was not in a good condition after the operation and it was too much for my younger daughter to handle the situation. He decided to stay with us and cancel his going back ticket by Turkish Airlines and go to Orlando with us to meet with our older daughter and go back to Turkey all together with our original ticket. We had to call CheapOair again to ask to cancel the coming part of my husband's original ticket. He couldn't come back by Lufthansa from Orlando to Istanbul if we couldn't cancel the Istanbul to Orlando part. They asked US $2.700 only to cancel that part. My husband bought a new round trip ticket Orlando-Istanbul-Orlando directly from Lufthansa to less than half price what CheapOair asked to cancel only the first part of his original ticket.

    Then he said that we also bring our older daughter here, because she is alone there and we can travel all together from Minneapolis to Orlando and then fly back to Turkey from there. Again, we called CheapOair to ask the change of her. This time we are asked US $1.339 for changing coming to U.S. part of her ticket and around US$1.500 to sell a new ticket. My husband's office is buying a new round trip ticket for my daughter from Lufthansa in the same time to US$1.255 from a travel agent in Turkey. I really don't know if their name should be expensive-o-air or something else but definitely not cheap-o-air. This is not fair and this is the bad way of cheating people without any satisfaction feedback.

    I booked my tickets on August 09, 2016 from JFK - DEL via Kuwait Airways. Finally, tickets were booked with ONE STOP AT KUWAIT. JFK - KWI & KWI - DEL. I was receiving several alerts - "1 day left, today is your travel day with complete itinerary." He can't adjust/change my tickets with any other option available. The best he can do CANCEL my tickets. In spite of having insurance under Travel Protection Plan, he CHARGED ME WITH CANCELLATION PENALTY AND OTHER THINGS. He got ready to refund only $230 out of my ticket amount of $547.

    My question to the management is, "Is this your customer service is?". I never received a single notification of airline having stoppage at London instead of Kuwait. Till today, I was received alerts of my airline for Kuwait stop. If ever I would have received a single notification about London stop, why would I have booked ticket when I knew that I won't be able to travel due to visa issue. I would request you to kindly refund the entire amount of my ticket which went in waste. This was unexpected from Cheapoair. Kindly help me out with my case at earliest. I have to drop down this mail to you when I had no option left.

I purchased 2 tickets from US to Asia 5 mos in advance. 4 days after booking, I want to reserve seats but these are my challenges: Chat online - wait for 5 mins and keep asking me questions every 5 mins, after 15, I am done. No answer or gotten anywhere. I called. First time, waited for 15 mins, no pick up. Called second time, only waited 3 mins, reasonable. This guy is ok. First, he offered to cancel my "pre-assign seat" charges since I cannot select seat. Then he explained that there is "FEE" to cancel reservation even though the site said "FREE CANCELLATION". Very tricky. You need to "CLICK" on the words "FREE CANCELLATION" to see all the rules. Only free if you cancel within 2 hrs. After 2 hrs, it prorates from there onward.

    I am leaning toward cancellation but then my $600 tickets require $200 penalty. Two tickets will be $400 cancellation fee. Oh mine! Then I asked, the direct airline price is $100 cheaper so CheapOair is NOT the cheapest. He said, it has to be within 24 hrs of booking and they will match the price. If not, prices changes daily. NO matching. I offered to pay the upgrade so I can get seat assign, they won't do it. CheapOair controls the booking, the tickets but not willing to do the upgrade for me. Asked me to call the airlines. So, I did. Airlines said they can upgrade for me and do the seating since there is no change on flight or time. Well, getting nowhere with CheapOair. Got more help from airlines, they went ahead and select seat for me as an exception. This will be the last time I deal with CheapOair. Too tricky. Not worth it.

    Of course I went straight to CheapOair when I saw the prices offered for round trip tickets to Las Vegas. But, after purchasing the ticket, I had to ADD baggage fees, which were very pricey. Also, to insure that my husband and I got seating together, I had to pay MORE! Could have flew with a "well known" airline for the same price. Also, needed to change the tickets and it was $99 for each. I wasn't canceling, only adding a day to the trip. Cheap turned into MORE expensive than I have ever paid to fly to Vegas. The fine print (added cost) was not revealed until after non-refundable, non-changeable tickets were purchased. CheapOair should give it ALL upfront.

    Horrible customer service. I have been calling regarding the same problem for about 7 days and no one has been able to help me. They have been transferring me to different departments and I have been on hold for over 1 hour and I don't think is fair, and every time I speak with some it seems like they are based out of the U.S which is okay but they don't understand U.S laws. They keep telling I can't cancel the hotel because the hotel has no cancellation policy which is not true since I called the hotel and they told me that is not true.

    I had the most horrible experience with them. They wanted to charge me double of the penalty that the airline was going to charge me. The airline was willing to charge me only $135 for penalty. I was just expecting CheapOair to charge me another 50 or max 100 dollars. NOOO, they decided to charge me $300 extra. I could not believe these people. I don't recommend this airline ever again. They are out there to get people. Please please be careful getting a ticket from them.

    Miriam called to make a change to a reservation to BKK. What she didn't understand is that yes, the airline does charge their penalty of $135.00 to make the change, and that is what we also quoted, but the new date of travel was more expensive, so she had to pay the fare difference for that new flight. Expecting to pay 50.00 or 100.00 she was willing to pay, but unfortunately the airfare difference she wasn't taking into consideration. It is stated in our terms and conditions that you will be assessed an airline fee, along with fare difference for any changes to your itinerary. We did explain this to her each time she called, finally she did agree to the change.

    I booked my plane from Florida to Toronto online, and everything went very well. I put the dates in and the cost would have been $531 - so I finished the transaction. Then I realised the date was wrong, so I phoned, and a Lady answered. She was very friendly and helpful and corrected everything for me, also putting a wheelchair request; I was very pleased.     We booked a flight for our honeymoon and chose to get insurance on our flights. We had to cancel for medical issues and we were charged a $100 cancellation fee but that they would give us a $500 voucher. Then we were sent an email which said we also had to pay a $200 dollar per person charge to rebook a new flight. So on a $590.43 flight that we purchased insurance for, we would have to pay $500 in fees to be able to rebook. And they kept saying it was the airlines charging the fees and go talk to them. But we had to rebook with them but could only use the original airlines. After much struggle and many phone calls we gave up. Read all the fine print. A disingenuous way to do business. This should be illegal. The insurance seems like a scam. You lost several customers and our friends.

    I booked a flight for my mom. I tried to call to complain about the service she got from the airline. First, she was uncomfortable with the flight. Airline doesn't have the amenities you're expecting for an international flight. Her luggage was been lost in Dallas and she didn't expect that to happened wherein she make sure she put up her luggage on the machine to check it in and when we got her luggage it was been broken.

    I at least asked if we could change her flight on November due to family emergency I had. She needs to stay little longer and CheapOair is telling me that I will get charge for flight difference and penalty costing $500 more, which is ridiculous. They could at least help out on this stuff due to the inconvenience that my mom encountered. With this experience I would not trust booking flight with the company again. Rip-off.

    I concur. I find their booking page misleading. I was charged an additional $156.00 dollars for a seat and immediately called customer service to change my seat and get refunded. The representative told me it would be refunded in 7-14 business days. It never was. I talked to numerous customer service representatives after and they just bounced me around to other departments until someone in billing claimed they couldn't hear me and had to disconnect the call.

    I tried the online chat and that was even worse. They flat out told me they could not refund or reassign my seat or cancel my flight. I also requested an itinerary change which they said would cost $200.00. I purchased flight protection which states in its terms that flights may be cancelled. I do not recommend CheapOair to anyone. Their booking process is filled with hidden fees and their customer service is terrible. I deeply regret thinking I would get anything close to the price stated on my flight search. It more than doubled because of their deceptive practices.

    I don't know where those good reviews from. This is the worst company. I had a situation when my dad should fly with mom, but suddenly he dad. I call company asking about credit on my mom name, because she couldn't fly. They didn't want. After I sent all documents they told me that they did credit for mom. But couple days after, when I called to book ticket for her, which cost 461$ they told me that I should pay extra 520$ for that. Are you serious??? Does it means they didn't do any credit for her and just continue to lie??? It's terrible.

    CheapOair on the airlines that use are absolute crooks. I buy a ticket for $700, plans change, I have to change it, they charge me another 300 something dollars so I'm up to 1100 something dollars. My plans have not changed and I have to cancel my ticket. In order to cancel my tickets they're taking $200 away and they want me to pay an additional hundred fifty dollars out of pocket just to cancel my ticket leaving me with a grand total of $350 out of 1100 that I have currently paid total. How this is possible is absolutely beyond me. This should be illegal. These people are absolute crooks - both CheapOair and the airlines that use them. None of these fees were upfront or easily accessible or told during ticket purchase. I highly advise never using CheapOair!!!

    Booked flights overseas and paid 5 months prior to departure. Flights have changed three times. Still 45 days till departure and I need to change departure date to three days earlier. Firstly the change was quoted at $150, then it became a $370 change, then my wife and I were booked on different planes. After an hour and twenty minutes on the phone we got it sorted out for a matter of $272. As if travel is not unpleasant enough when everything goes right, outsourced boiler-room style phone banks are not very helpful, even at extortion rates. Will never use this site again.

    I hate writing reviews unless some place was great or just insanely bad! This was bad. After reading reviews I tried to book on CheapOair, 3 times on flights and every time after I filled it out, suddenly the flight was booked. The process takes time, a lot of it. The next day these full flights were still advertised. So I called, and spent an hour with a nice guy from India who booked the same "full" flights, sent me a confirmation. I called my parents and said the grand kids were coming, and two hours after that - CheapOair - wrote me and said the trip was cancelled. I called, mad and angry. I had to accept what they said "no, flight" - so I asked to cancel MY CAR RENTAL and they tried to charge me $40 for cancelling. At this point I lost it, and they backed off. 8 hours of my life, sad parents and the prices have jumped 30%.

    Joseph, we do apologies for the inconvenience. Frontier airlines had denied the reservation once it was booked due to availability of that fare you purchased. We rely on the individual airlines to keep our site updated in a timely manner, but at times there is a delay. The agents did try to rebook flights for you, and look for other airline options, but nothing worked for you over the thanksgiving holiday. The car was pre-paid so there is a fee to cancel, but as you mentioned the agent "backed off" and the fee was waived.

    They are full of lies and will steal your money! Don't book with them! Impossible to get a hold of customer service. They are difficult to work with and makes many false promises to buy time. It is four days before our flight and we are still being told to wait and call them back in two days! They are also avoiding our phone calls, transfers us to the wrong department, or hangs up on us. I've never had such an infuriating experience with a booking company.

    We booked a flight for four passengers from San Francisco to Europe and spoke over the phone with a customer representative from CheapOair to make sure all the details were correct. The staff member had a very thick Indian accent making it very difficult to understand her. In addition, she was very aggressive and pushy; she pressured us on the flight reservation, upgrades, and trip protection.

    She "guaranteed" us several times that we can cancel or change the flight anytime after booking. She also assured us that we received a preferred seating upgrade with window seating and even gave us the rows in which our seats would be. She also assured us that the seats would be grouped together because she can select the seats. She informed us that it was a package deal which included the flight, preferred seating upgrades, and free cancellation with trip insurance. We asked her three times and we made sure that she repeated the conditions multiple times to be certain. We found out later from United Airlines that no preferred seats were reserved and in fact no seats were even reserved at all. United Airlines also informed us that there is no guarantee that we can sit together.

    Now we are trying to make a change to the reservation and they have continuously put us on hold over the course of an hour for each phone call. They also told us that we passed a 24 hour window which the lady never told us about, but rather she told us we can cancel anytime. CheapOair denies any wrongdoing and has been avoiding our phone calls and is unwilling to help make changes to our flight or even give us a refund. They refuse to take any responsibility for the false claims we were given, and they are refusing to give us a refund. They have a recording of the conversation and we have asked them to review the evidence.

    After two weeks of being told to call back and being on hold for hours, we are told that we must book a new reservation THREE days before our flight! We are left deceived and financially impacted because of the poor customer service of CheapOAir. It is three days before our trip and they are still telling us that they don't have an answer for us in terms of making changes to the flight or getting a refund.
