    I was never informed that the tickets I was purchasing were nonrefundable. Also when I realized I needed the travel to start one day earlier I called and was told that I would have to pay an additional $405.00. I was also put on hold for over an hour. Since it was 11:30PM and I did not want to wake my husband I asked if I could call. And make the change the next day at the same cost. I was told that I could call the next day and the extra charge would be the same. The next day I called and told the representative I wanted to make changes for two tickets, mine and my husband. The representative first put me on hold for over an hour then my phone call was disconnected (I had asked for a supervisor). I called again and the representative put me again on hold for over an hour.

    The representative then took my information again and charged me for the change on my ticket $405.00, then she made the change on my ticket. She then informed me that on my husband's ticket the change would cost $605.00 because there was only one ticket left on the price range I received. Had I known that I would not have made the changes to my airplane ticket. I also request to refer this call to a special team according to British airways that deals with changing dates of flights. This was never done and my request was never honored. Had the representative informed me that the price of the second ticket would be different I would not have made the change.

    We purchased our flight to Italy for $985 for both my husband and I. We noticed that they only charged $800 to our credit card and our confirmation said the tickets had not been issued. We called them and they said it was our bank holding the funds. We called the bank and they said the funds were released and it even showed up on credit card online. We called united and they said that CheapOAir hadn't paid them yet so our confirmation hadn't been ticketed. CheapOair kept telling us we had not paid them yet we had a confirmation email and our seats. 24 hours later we received a credit back to our account and no one told us. We called and they said that united would not accept the tickets. Meanwhile they tripled in price not allowing us to go on our trip. So they deliberately held our money and didn't pay united and made us miss out on our trip. They scammed us and I will tell everyone I know to never book through them.

    Kept on delaying flight ticket booking. Booked international round-trip flight on November 14 but it was not booked even after 10 days. When called customer service representative, they kept on transferring calls to different departments and finally when asked to talk to supervisor, they dropped the call! I even called on November 22 and they assured me to book ticket within next 24 hours but it was just not done!! When my friends booked from other websites, the booking was confirmed within couple of hours but for me, booking through CheapOair took more than 10 days and the ticket is not booked yet. I am never again going to book through CheapOair!!

    Cheapoair is the worst company that I have ever dealt with. I will never book a flight with them again. I recommend everyone to not deal with them. They are greedy; they manipulate their customers. I booked a flight with them through Air Canada without knowing that Canadians airline require a transit visa for transit trips. So, when I got to the airport they asked me about the visa. I told them I did not know about that. I called Cheapoair and they told me "you can't get your money back but we will save it for you as a credit." Now, I'm calling them to book new one but I discovered that I made a mistake when I typed my name. I tried to correct it but they refuse to help me. I told them how can I travel with an incorrect name? They said "we can't do anything for you."

    I paid 800$ then I paid 500$ and now they ask for 1255$ to change the name. I have lost 500$ until now and I do not know how much I'm going to lose until I receive the transit visa!!! Each time I call them they ask for money to fix something. By the way, this is for one way trip and for one person, imagine if we were a family. This struggle has been going since March 2016 and now we're almost in December. I have been posting this recently so people must know with whom they book. GO TO EXPEDIA. MUCH BETTER and MUCH EASIER to DEAL WITH. I have booked a flight with them, and I change my mind 24 hours before the flight depart. They cancel it for me directly, and they gave me my money back on the next day.

    The person belonged pre-Internet era, is still curious what is going on out there. So once in a while trying something new TO ME. So this time I decided to make reservations through online discount travel agents. It was quite learning experience until I could make actual reservations through CheapOair. After received confirmation from a company, suddenly I received a notice that reservation was cancelled "because my credit card was invalidated." So they claimed. I guess that they made careless mistake in unusual currency conversion (Japanese yen holder made reservations for British airline tickets with an American online travel agent!).

    Another pulse-pounding experience was escalating price minute by minute while typing in necessary information after purchase order (I don't know proper noun for that) was accepted. Mixed 24-hour and 12-hour clocks, unnecessary flickering notices, other subtle things were not really appreciated by people who belonged to the dinosaur era nothing to do with "instant." Sorry for my prolonged complacent introduction. Anyway I almost gave up making reservations online. Then all of sudden, telephone, as a matter of fact, my smartphone, rung. It was around 6 a.m. Japan time. I answered and found out one of your dedicated customer assistant called me INTERNATIONALLY. WOW!

    When I was on a active list, I was not an officer just for your information, my work required me to travel internationally all the time. I was helped by so many competent people in travel industry. But no one made a single international call to change client's flight schedule.     Like to ask you one question, I make yesterday at 12. Tne booking and after 3 hours I see that I did book the first flight wrong. Now on our web page you offer cancellation for free in 4 hours, what I did, was I call the service Number from you and one agent helps me to change only the first flight. The flight back was perfect. He helps me and all is now ok. Now but when I received the new itinerary there is one charge of 50.00 US$ more. Why? If I have cancelled my flight complete it is for free, and now only for changing the first flight you charge me 50 US%.

    Here my Booking # **, sorry but when I cancel my flight you make no money, and on your web page you offer this. So why you charge me now 50 US$. If you see all the flights I have booked with you, in the past time, and also now like booking ** you see I'm one good customer.     Made a huge mistake in booking with CheapOair. It is cheap, and you get what you pay for. Wife had a serious accident. And we couldn't travel. CheapOair did nothing for us. Didn't care. It was a complete loss for us. It is better to go directly with a major airline, which in contrast accommodated us, and even changed our departure city for our return flight, allowed us to use miles, and gave us a voucher for one of our tickets. The major airline also employs agents in the USA, who speak understandable English, as opposed to CheapOair who uses offshore agents whom I couldn't understand. When I continued to request that the CheapOair agent repeat himself because I could not understand him, the agent was audibly frustrated and angry with me. I will never again book with CheapOair. Rude, unprofessional, and misleading.

    Mr. Martinez, our apologies for the inconvenience, and hope your wife is doing better., As a travel agency we try very hard to accommodate our customer's request regarding changes to an existing reservation. However, at times when tickets are non refundable, we do not have the authority to make changes without airline fees, or fare difference, or to refund a ticket. When you called we explained how the process works, and also trip interruption insurance was not purchased, which could of eliminated this. The airline ultimately did charge you the fees to make the change, but allowed you to use air miles in lieu of $ which we do not accept. We also have provided you with an airline voucher, which is actually your own ticket that you can hold for future credit. So it seems we offered the same options but the add collect of funds was handled differently. We will pass along your feedback regarding the communication gap that you experienced with our sales agents for continued training.

    My wife bought a ticket for her and my daughter. Unfortunately there was a death in the family and we had to pay $800 to change her ticket to earlier, and cancel my daughters. They said we had a $500 credit. When I went to use our $536 credit (5 days later) they doubled the prices that were available in the site that day and charged us both the same astronomical price and did not include the $536 credit! It was to attend a funeral so we had little choice. Two hours later I didn't get a receipt or flight schedules... Turns out the (call centers are in INDIA and English is terrible) but the incompetent person who took my order charged me $1800 for a finance charge and never ordered tickets. Our flight was the next day!!! It took 3 hours 6 phone calls to correct this.

    I finally got in touch with a conscience employee who was mortified about what happened and after another hour corrected the error but was unable to utilize the $536 refund. The flight was the next day and most important at the time I was told I can work out the refund at a later date. A week later I called and complained and asked about my refund. They had no record of my refund. I wrote a long complaint and explained why I should get refund never given to me. A month went by... Nothing. I contacted them again and they found one technicality after another trying to get rid of me!!! Unacceptable horrible service and a rip off company. Do not ever use this company... Still waiting on my $536 refund.

    The flight I booked was cheaper within 24 hours of booking, so according to their rules, I could request for a price guarantee because it was the same flight but cheaper... After contacting them 3 times within a matter of a few weeks, they finally said they would refund me the difference. A few weeks later still no refund, so I emailed them. No answer. I emailed them again, no answer. After the third time I was fed up them. Every time I contacted them through live chat they couldn't help and just said to contact them through email. I finally put in a dispute with my credit card company and a month later the collections department contacted me only because they owed money. Not even concerned that I didn't receive my refund. I told them over and over and sent them statements saying that I paid the full price of the flight and got a refund as a price adjustment. Not even a refund through them.

    Now they are insisting I pay the full price of the flight again!!! After I told them countless times I paid for the full fare and never received a refund from them directly. Now they want me to pay for the flight again?! How incompetent is this company!? I have spent hours over this matter and if anything they should give me a full refund for hours of hassle, emails and incompetency. If I never put in a dispute with my credit card company in the first place they would never have emailed about the matter. Do not trust them to honor their price guarantee.

    On Oct/21/2016 I booked a 7n vacation package to Jamaica for my B-day. The trip included a non stop flight and one week stay at Azul Sensatori, all inclusive hotel, a 5 star new hotel with excellent rating. The total package price paid to CheapOair was $4220.91. Upon arrival to the hotel despite having the confirmation for our reservation the hotel told us that we don't have a reservation, and the hotel is solid booked for the week 11-05-16 through 11-12-16, which was the vacation week. Shocked but yet hopeful, my husband and I were still optimistic that it was a glitch! Contacted CheapOair and were told they're sorry for the inconvenience. The flight was red-eye and we arrived to the hotel at 9:00 am. For the next nine hours I was on the phone with customer service in INDIA trying to find a solution before ending up on the street in Jamaica.

    CheapOair arranged at 5:30 pm another hotel, full of jumbo ants, with no drinking water, dilapidated, and full of mildew. We refused to stay at that hotel and got back to the original hotel that we PAID CHEAPOAIR TO STAY AT. Azul Sensatori arranged for us 2 nights, we ended up being charged $700.00 a night, for which CheapOair refused to pay. After two days, in an effort to reach customer service in New York, which the headquarters are located, I attempted one last time to connect with NY, but, once again I was connected with INDIA with their "SORRY FOR YOUR INCONVENIENCE THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO" response. In the lobby I made a brand new reservation with Orbitz, paid them $1980.00 for the next 5 remaining nights to Melia Braco, took another taxi, drove over two hours, and stayed there. Hotel ended up being ok, but the beach and the sand full of rocks.

    Thanks to CheapOair our vacation turned in to an absolute nightmare! Upon our return to US, I contacted them for refund, after two days received an email, saying one more time, "we are sorry for your inconvenience, but we cannot offer any refunds". Thanks to CheapOair, this vacation cost us $8000.00 and a huge nightmare! Beware! Beware! Beware before you book on CheapOair . Also, they are not registered in California, so you can't sue them, unless you travel to New York. Good luck.

    They are cheap third rated fakers. Try to cheat their customers by intentionally making mistake in your travel information and when you ask about it they put on hold for 45 mins and then they blame you for the mistake and they will charge you extra for fixing that. This is all very well planned and they have lot of other tricks as well. I have trying to register complaint wherever possibly I can. I have proof to prove myself and I will sort out this some day soon. And I can get any suggestion on how to bring this culprit down would be helpful.

    CheapOair is not right. They did not tell or talk about the luggage. CheapOair was too busy trying to sell me a ticket and didn't go into details about anything. The last time I flew, we were able to take on at least one luggage for free. I did think about it and then I clicked on the luggage and I did not see Spirit info nowhere. Get to the airport and then they tell me about the fee for luggage. I feel that is false advertising. I will not recommend, CheapOair nor Spirit Airlines to no one. They want to get your money.     My wife and I had to make an emergency trip to England for her mother. However our trip itself was interesting. You don't have to read it all if you don't want but at least read it if you are considering scheduling your trip through CheapOair (I know should have figured it out from the name) I would suggest reading it. Now understand this is all in my opinion and based on the facts we experienced. I booked 2 round trip tickets for my wife and I due to a family medical emergency in my wife's family in England. We booked with CheapOair to fly from San Francisco to Las Vegas then to Manchester England then returning through JFK. It was a round trip to return 11-15-16. We purchased travel insurance and baggage insurance for the entire trip.

    Once in England I was informed after 4 days my FMLA application was denied as the emergency was my mother in-law and not my mother. This put my employment potentially at risk. After 5 days my mother-in-law was improving and looked as if it was safe to return early. I called CheapOair's customer service over a week before our scheduled return flight and was advised the travel insurance didn't cover my reason for returning earlier and they could not change the scheduling. They also advised me there were no return flights available between 11-6 and 11-8 and I would have to pay full price to do it through another airline and there would be no refund avail. or credit for the initially scheduled return trip.

    While on the phone with the CheapOair customer service agent as he told me this, I went online to their website and booked the exact same return trip with the same stops for 11-8 (which was not available per their customer service agent on the phone) which was a week earlier than my original return. I advised the agent I had just booked the flight on their site and he said no I didn't. There are no openings. I told him the new booking number and he didn't believe me (likely didn't want to be proven to having lied just to force me to have to buy a new ticket).

    To sum up my experience with CheapOair... I purchased trip insurance that was of no good to me. I was lied to about an alternate flight being available to come home early and in MY opinion I believe this was done to allow a reason to deny trying to use the trip insurance to change the flight schedule or refunding part or all of the purchase. The bad part was I gave them a full week early notice to resell the original tickets. I also hate the thought that we did not use the original tickets to come home which means they were available to be sold again by CheapOair to new travelers therefore doubling the profit from the ticket sale.

    Prior to posting any of this about my trip I sent the information to CheapOair's customer service hoping they would at the very least offer us a credit for 1/2 of the $1,000.00 we paid to come home early. I have waited over a week and have received no response from them at all... Well that's not true... They did send me an email telling me they hoped I enjoyed my trip to San Francisco. This was the new trip as the original trip was today.

    So far as the airlines that we flew JetBlue and Thomas Cook Airlines, they were absolutely wonderful. I had never heard of Thomas Cook Airlines and yet I fully recommend them for your travels. The flight crew, service, meals, drinks, everything was absolutely great. I found out while in the UK Thomas Cook Air is beginning direct round trip flights from San Francisco to Manchester England. I look forward to this so I can deal with the airline for the entire trip in one flight.

    So far as CheapOair? In my opinion they fully live up to their name. The flight prices were ok but not something that would indicate they were especially cheaper than others however... the way they dealt with me and this trip did prove to me they are in fact CHEAP with regard to being willing to use any excuse to minimize doing any more than is required of them once you have booked, changing anything they don't need to change for their reasons and will do what they can to potentially place themselves in a position to double sell tickets for their full price to double their profit and obviously do not see a need to respond to customer's complaints. CheapOair will never see my business again and anyone that I hear is planning a trip will get a copy of this email should they want information input to assist them in selecting a travel agent.

    Dealing with CheapOair was the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I needed an update done to a booking that they kept telling me was up to the airline to do. The airline said because it was booked through CheapOair that I could not change the booking as it wasn't made with my email address. I was hung up on, call dropped out over eight times and not once did anyone ever call me back. I have left an email complaint asking for a call back, and contacted them via on-line chat and still no call back. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND OR USE THESE PEOPLE AGAIN.     Have been booking with CheapOair for over 5 years and now realize I was a fool. $150 fee for cancellation in addition to the airline penalty. Just go to Expedia even if the fare is $10 or $20 more, they have zero cancellation fee and 24 hour free cancellation on most bookings, use CheapOair for alternate flight suggestions and use Expedia to book.

    Bought a ticket for $1200+ but was not able to go. I am supposed to get partial refund (at least 50%) but the idiot who's supposed to handle the refund doesn't know what credit is and I got charged an extra $800 to cancel out my $800 refund. They still refuse to acknowledge that they made a mistake and had to go through credit card dispute to try get my money back. Unfortunately, the bank also needs a simple yes and no reply from me (on top of the hours on the phone with them) to continue the refund. Eventually, the dispute time ran out and I am left with a bank "gesture of goodwill" of $250, a far cry from my rightful $800. AND NOTHING FROM CHEAPOAIR! DON'T USE THEIR SERVICE.

There is also a portion of the sale that was non refundable $220.00 that is why the value was reduced to $1062.12.     First off I would like to say CheapOair does have to best prices for flights online. They make it easy and affordable to find good flights fast. I have used CheapOair a few times and have been completely satisfied, until I found unauthorized charges to my debit card! A friend of mine booked my flight with her card and I changed my flight for $40 on my card that I authorized over the phone which the conversation was recorded. A few days later found out they charged my card the whole amount without my authorization and wouldn't refund my card. I spoke to a supervisor who wasn't willing to help nor listen to the recordings from the conversation I had with customer service to allow $40 being charged. Very rude and unhelpful!     My parents went with a group of people outside the country. When they were suppose to be in the air I checked the flight status and found that the emails they sent listing the flight number and time were wrong! I called to figure out if it was American Airlines fault or CheapOair. CheapOair didn't want to give any information because I didn't know the last 4 of the credit card that was used.     In August of 2016 my family booked a Turkish Air flight from Bodrum, Turkey to Chicago online through CheapOair. The cost of flight for the three of us was about $4,000. When we arrived at the airport, the Turkish Air agent informed us that we had two identical reservations existed and that I needed to cancel one of the two. The Turkish agent was very helpful, saying that this sort of thing happens fairly frequently and that I should have no trouble canceling through the agent (CheapOair). I called CheapOair immediately right from the terminal. The agent said that they would agree to cancel one of the reservations only if I agreed to pay a $400 fee! When I protested, the agent told me that my choice was to pay an extra $4,000 or to pay the $400 fee. The $400 fee appeared immediately on my credit card -- along with $8000 charged for the two sets of tickets.

    Several weeks later the refund had still not appeared, so I called CheapOair. They told me that the refund would appear soon and that the delay was the fault of Turkish Air. I kept calling CheapOAir, and I was repeatedly told the same thing -- that the refund might take up to two billing cycles because of Turkish Air. Finally --in October -- long past the two billing cycle maximum I called CheapOair again, and this time I was told that there would be no refund, but that there would be a $4,000 credit with Turkish Air that I would need to use within a year. Again I was told that the fault was with Turkish Air. I read the e-mails to the agent that I had received from CheapOair promising a refund to my credit card -- and promised to sue if I did not receive the promised refund. After a long hold, the agent returned and promised a real refund. I have just received it -- three months after I paid the $400 fee that was demanded to process the refund.

    Cheap-O-Air entices you into purchasing from them with a good price from the airline but this is basically where anything positive from the site ends. I randomly decided to check my booking and discovered that one of the flights was no longer going to depart. This was the last flight on my booking. Cheap-O-Air never even notified me that this flight had been changed and that we would need to work out a replacement flight. I called them to discuss this situation and was offered one flight option as an alternative. They had a very "take it or leave it" attitude even though I had already paid in full. The original flight was set to stop in Vancouver for only a few hours then go onward to Montreal. The replacement flight being offered as the ONLY alternative was a flight into Chicago with a 9 hour layover. I still find this very hard to believe as one of the partnership airlines is Air Canada.

    I know for a fact, as a frequent traveller, that there are many other flights going to and from Japan. I decided to accept the flight after some delay and was promised the confirmation, which never arrived. I then informed them that I would like to add an infant who was not born yet at the time of booking. CheapOAir found is appropriate to charge me 350$ for an infant to sit on my lap. They also charged my credit card "accidentally" twice for this transaction. So at this point, I went from a decent fare into airports that I wanted with layovers that I wanted to a HUGE layover and a massive charge for adding an infant. I find this to be taking advantage of new parents. I don't understand how it could possibly be that expensive to add an infant.

    So basically my current situation is that I have been charged 350$ for adding an infant, now have a massive layover in a different airport, still have no confirmation, and the customer service department is not calling me back. The invoice is also showing that I was charged twice for the infant fee, so 700$. I'm shocked and appalled at how terribly I have been treated, completely unreasonable. Be careful when booking with these guys! Further, I was offered a 60$ credit that is basically useless to me as I tried to book a hotel and use it towards my infant, both of which are not possible.

    When my girlfriend informed me that her father had passed, I immediately started looking for flights to Denmark so that we could be with her family and help with the arrangements. I like using aggregates when searching for tickets, and one site led me to another before I found a decent flight on CheapOair that got us into Denmark within 10 hours. The relief at checkout was followed by immediate, persistent anxiety in the form of a customer service representative who was not proficient in English and whose supervisor "would just tell me the same thing".

    To start, their billing department dropped the ball. During the verification phase, they dialed the wrong number and called some Danish stranger. When I realized that the flight had not been ticketed, we called again. They informed us of the verification problem, which was painstakingly resolved, and assured us that a link would be sent to my email within minutes. Guess what, campers. That didn't happen. After several more calls and an infinite number of transfers to other departments, we were assured that the flight was ticketed and that the agent would be waiting with our copies at baggage check. This also did not happen. Rather, the ticket agent informed us that our reservations had been cancelled long ago.

    The conversation that followed was filled with misunderstandings and attempts at up-selling worse flights for higher prices, after I explained the reason for urgency. I've never been so close to screaming at a stranger. Apparently, it was our fault that this had happened--after all, they tried to call us. Over the course of the next few hours, I was given 3 different prices for the same flight (none under $1k US), and pressured into confirming twice when they told me that there were zero other flights available that night--all during the same conversation with the same CheapOair representative. Thank God for Danish insurance companies. Her insurance representative called us and booked a better, cheaper flight within an hour. Moral of the story: choose a different website. They lied to us, and they tried to capitalize on our grief rather than accepting responsibility for their mistakes.

    I purchased a ticket for my daughter to fly home from Maui. I paid for the tickets, received seat confirmation and tickets issued. She waited at the Airport for 8 or 9 hours... had checked in with her baggage at least 6 hours prior to her flight. When checking onto the flight she was told there was no room for her or her bags on the flight and she would be rescheduled for the next day! And she was... 18 hours to wait for the next flight the following night, no place to sleep, can't shower, nothing! What kind of company sends you a seat confirmation and TICKETS and then be told with all this in hand that there is no room for you on the flight!

    This is very poor customer service and I will tell everyone that's traveling to avoid using this company by all means! Now I sit and wait and pray that my daughter is safe until she can get that next flight! Waiting an additional 18 hours! This means she will be in that airport for nearly 2 days by the time she leaves. This is shameful! What has our country and businesses come to!!! Totally beside myself over this!

    We have just returned from our annual vacation in Europe. Everything was going fine till two days before we were due to fly back to UK, I noticed that CheapOair was still using the 12 hr clock and I had mistook 10.40 pm for am. I then tried to get an earlier flight to London booked. I then realized it was going to London South end. I immediately tried to cancel, using chatline, online sites and even tried the phone # on the booking, which was not available from Europe - only to be told this flight is nonrefundable. I know ultimately it was my responsibility, but my concern is, why doesn't the computer recognize a double booked flight from the same location on the same day for the same passengers?? Will be booking direct with the airlines in future, even though it may be a little more expensive, at least they are approachable.

    Booked my flight and didn't realize it was 8pm instead of 8am. Called to change the flight. They said I couldn't. I explained that I had purchased the trip insurance. They said I still couldn't do it and then put me on hold for a while. Came back said they can change the flight. I would lose something like $25. I received an email and one time password to be refunded $112.75. Was told it would take no longer than 14days. It has now been 22days (17 business days) and no refund.

    Called cheapo twice, billing once, and finally called spirit, because cheapo said it was between spirit and my bank. Spirit says "you have no money being refunded to you. You have a $65 voucher that expires in a couple weeks." At no point was I contacted or told this. Just told to "keep waiting, your refund is being processed." Not the case. If I had known this I never would have changed my flight. I'm paying full price for 2 round trip flights. I may as well have bought the ticket and set it on fire. I will never use CheapOair again. I've used many other sites before with no problems (kayak, expedia, orbitz). I will forever regret trying this one. The only reason I used it is because I couldn't afford anything else. I will never recommend this site to anyone. And I suggest you don't use it either.

    I booked an international flight through CheapOair about a month ago. I was notified about a week later via email that the flight had been cancelled and they gave me an alternative flight. The alternative flight had me losing an entire critical day in my trip, so I declined the recommendation. I then called CheapOair to confirm all of this and they said they'd requested a refund to the airlines and it would take up to 48 hours and that they (CheapOair) would notify me once all was good to go and my refund would go through.

    Since then, three weeks later, I've had to call back multiple times. I've not once received an email or call from them confirming anything about the refund. After my most recent call, which lasted almost an hour, multiple transfers between the same departments, I was told that the refund could take up to 60 days to go through, which I find unacceptable. They told me to contact the airline in which the flight was through, I did, and they told me that CheapOair was responsible for issuing the refund. Again, I called back CheapOair and was given the runaround and have not been given any clear direction about my refund.

    The fact that not one person, from all the back and forth from their departments, hasn't been able to give me a solid answer or expedite my refund, is beyond frustrating, disappointing, and extremely nerve wrecking. Feeling like your money ($1200) is possibly floating around somewhere unknown, is terrifying. I kick myself for believing the positive reviews this travel company has, and I hesitate to EVER book with CheapOair again. Wish my luck, internet, on hopefully getting my refund back.

    The offices located in New Delhi India, are the biggest liars & rip off employees. This happened to me 3 times, if it was one time, I understand it could be sincere but not 3 times. Every time I did my research on CheapOair website to find a cheap international flight, eventually through hours putting into it, I found. In last 2 years I book 3 different flight with CheapOAir. Every time they found excuse to not confirm my ticket. 1st time after I purchased the ticket, one of their employee called me & said the price I paid is no longer exist & if I want that flight, I have to pay $200 more for the same ticket.

    After arguing back & forth, I was forced to cancel it. The same day I bought the same ticket from another agency for the same price, so I found out they were lying, so I let it go. 2nd time it was about 3 months ago, I bought a ticket & it was confirmed & they issued me e-ticket numbers. After a few days they send me an e-mail. They have to change me return flight from 1h:15 min layover to 12 hours layover in Istanbul. I said, "Why?". They said, "The airline has been sold out for that time besides 1h:15 m. The airline does not allow it for not having enough time to change the flight." I argued back & forth. They wanted more pay, more money for another flight for another day. I said, "No."

    Finally I called the airline. They told me I have been confirmed for my original flight that I have purchased. I couldn't believe it. The CheapOair employee in India had lied to me again. 3rd time which is 3 weeks ago, I purchased another round trip ticket at a good price. They called me & they said they cannot confirm it. I said, "Why?" Here goes again. The same old lies again. They used 3 different lies, 1st - "You don't have enough time to change your flight in Houston". I said I have been there & I know the airport. I have enough time to change my flight, then comes another lie - "You don't have enough time to change your flight in Istanbul, Turkey." I said, "I do have enough time."

    Finally we have to cancel your flight. Basically, they forced me to cancel my flight. Their office in India are liars, fraud & they try to sell you an expensive ticket while I could of paid originally $300 less. I wished US force them to shut down their offices in India completely. They are no good. They are destroying the way companies are doing business in US. They corrupting the good system we believe in & made US greatest customer service in the world. They are bringing poison to US economy! UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE THEY LET YOU TALK TO A SUPERVISOR!

    Every airline allows a 24 hour free cancellation. CheapOair will still charge you for cancelling a flight even if requested within a hour of booking. But if you directly call the airline they will cancel it for free. CheapOair saves your credit card details without your permission and they will charge you without any confirmation on selecting seats which is non refundable even within an hour by CheapOair. But when I called the airline the next day I got the refund. CheapOair has a bad customer service and they do not stick to the airline policy.

    This was after multiple attempts to reach them by phone, two times they hung up on me, once we could hear people talking but no one spoke to us. After that we would only get a recording that said they noticed we had called several times today and redirected to another extension where we were hung up on as soon as we told them we wanted to cancel the reservation. We will never use this poor excuse for an online travel site again and advise that you use the airline sites directly first and this company last. You may save money as well as time.

    I needed to cancel the hotel reservations because other arrangements were made. One of the agents said they would charge me a booking fee which would be deducted from the refund amount. I didn't feel I should be charged a booking fee because the reservations were made two days earlier and the room was needed for the last week in November. During the conversation I realized the agent was no longer on the line, so I called again and this time an agent said she would ask her supervisor; I felt that was just to get me off the line but she really did something. I waited a moment, she came back on line and said the fee would be wavered and I would receive the full refund.

    Words can't say how happy I was to finally get someone to listen and try to help me in this situation. This agent should get all five stars because she listened and really tried to help.     I am very dissatisfied and perplexed by CheapOair changing my price 4 hours after my purchase. This has never happened to me as a consumer. Let me explain... I used Hipmunk to search for flights in Mexico. CheaOoair came up as the best option. I booked two tickets for a short flight within Mexico for approx. $60 each. I received a booking confirmation email. Great. I'm done and can stop stressing over my travel planning. Not quite! 4 hours later, I received an email from CheapOair stating that the price had changed. The price had increased to $90 per ticket. (an increase of 50% after the purchase is final!) They gave me the option to pay the extra money or cancel. I tried to cancel but their website was completely broken and I could not complete the cancellation. I then tried to chat with customer support agents. I received no reply. Finally, I made a roaming international call on my cell to their customer support to cancel the ticket.

    Then, I booked directly on the airline's website for $65 (nearly the original price)! In summary, I am shocked, disappointed, and confused that CheapOair could:

    Increase their price by 50% hours after a purchase is final, Increase their price inexplicably while the airline still sells it near the original price, Have a broken web app handling such a sensitive issue. I will never use this service again and advise others to stay away.

    When you book through a travel company your ticket has EXTREME costly limitations. The staff when you call are in India. Or some country that English is a hard language. So if you are a person who is voting for Trump you should not use CheapOair because it is not really in the USA (It is a job sent over seas). It cost you a ton more money if you have to change your ticket. Book with the AIRLINE!!! The airlines even if they have an policy of $200 change fee they can make an exception. Some airlines give you all your money in credit (Jet Blue).

    Also the worst is spending a very very long time talking to persons you cannot understand and actually start yelling at you because of their enunciation. Also, depending on the representative you get they do not tell you the same information. I know everyone has to learn how to do things but it is frustration and time consuming and also $$$$$. Please save yourself from travel agent fee and many many more fees if you need to change something. I can recall about 3 years ago I used them and had the same exact problem and the one other time.     I originally bought my ticket in the beginning of September. However a month later my daughter decided to go with me. I looked online and there were still seats available on my flight for 418 plus taxes. I decided to call CheapOair to see if we could be seated together. I was informed that on one flight that was possible. I was still charged 15.00 for that. There was also a 146.00 charge on my banking statement. When I asked about it afterward I was informed that they can charge from 5.00 to 200.00 for consultation fees. I was quoted 500+ for the ticket, but I thought it was a mistake.     I had booked ticket with CheapOair. Now because of my medical conditions I can no longer travel at the selected dates. I have been calling and chatting with the customer service staff for over a week now but I am getting no results at all. It's difficult to reach the manager. If you want to complain about the services and the supervisor Kanchan and customer service rep Paulin are rude and misleading customers and worse customer service.     I had significant problems with CheapOair this summer. They issued a ticket in the wrong name. I had to buy new tickets on one airline and pay a service fee to change the name on another airline, adding over $600 to the cost of the trip... CheapOair assumed no responsibility, claiming it was all my fault despite the fact that the email confirming the ticket was issued in the correct name, the customer representative I spoke with on flight day simply said there was no question it was my fault and that I would have to pay more. They offered to follow through with one airline (for an extra fee) which I assented to. However, they never followed through and I had to deal with the airline directly.

    CheapOair still billed me for a service they did not deliver, a problem I was able to successfully address with the help of the bank that issues my credit card. When I returned from my trip, I tried to send a complaint complete with documentation, but letters and emails were returned as undeliverable. Phonecalls ended up transferred to busy signals. When I finally did get someone to talk to me, she said it was simply all my fault and disregarded my evidence. CheapOair turned out to be a very poor deal.

American didn't recognize the "paid seating". This happened on both flights. CheapOAir refunded $13.95 of the $43.95 I paid and said that American airline doesn't refund paid-for assigned seating and I would need to take my complaint up with them. Nowhere during the booking process did CheapOAir say "your assigned seats are NOT guaranteed and your money will NOT be refunded". Otherwise who would pay them the extras money?     When I spoke to your female agent after I booked my flight she told me that my charge did not go through. Said she would have to re-book it. I agreed (Lie.) I see it on my bank statement. Then she informed me that it would be less than the original price. (Lie. It was approximately $10.00 more). Due to a medical problem (extreme nerve damage to my right arm) I do not like anyone sitting on my right side. I prefer to have a window seat on the right side of the plane.     Over the last few years, our organization has used CheapOair for literally hundreds of overseas flights for humanitarian purposes. Last month we had booked 3 tickets from Washington DC to Amman, Jordan for a week-long medical trip. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to re-route our trip to go to Istanbul. The original tickets cost around $800 per person so in order to see if we could re-route the tickets, I was in a live chat a few days ago with a CheapOair representative, Paulin. She said this would be possible and she quoted a fee of $1488 to make the changes. The live chat had taken about an hour and I had to leave for a meeting and I asked her if we could continue our conversation in about 30 minutes and she said she would call me and then she confirmed my phone number. She never called me back.

    Later that day we called with the same request and they quoted us a price of $2700 PER PERSON to change the tickets. We tried to make sure we were hearing her right in that surely she must have meant that the cost was the grand total for all 3 of the tickets and she assured us that this was per person. This was in addition to the $800 we had already paid. We mentioned to her that we could buy tickets online from Washington to Istanbul for around $850 and that would obviously be a lot cheaper just to cancel the original tickets and re-book.

    For some reason that didn't make any difference and she just kept insisting that the change fee was $2700 per person. That would be a total of $8100 for 3 tickets to Istanbul plus $2400 for the three tickets that we had previously purchased! I don't understand why they gave us two VERY different prices to change the destination and I certainly don't understand how it would be so much cheaper just to get new tickets rather than to change the old ones. I don't think we will be using CheapOair any more.

    I am devastated. Two days ago, (10/04/16) I made a reservation through CheapOair for a flight from Grand Junction, CO to Omaha, NE. The flight price came up great and I read the itinerary carefully before I clicked on it to make my purchase. I paid with my Visa/Debit card. All went through fine. But when I checked my email for the confirmation of my reservation the departure airport had been switched to LAX (Los Angeles, CA) because Frontier Airlines does not serve Grand Junction, CO.

    I immediately called customer service and asked them to correct their mistake. I was told that it was too late to make the correction because it had already been put through the computer to the airline. I explained very carefully to the customer service rep that obviously I could not use a California airport for my departure when I live in Colorado. He said he could reroute my departure to go out of Colorado Springs which is more than 250 miles from Grand Junction and not feasible for me. I asked him to cancel the reservation and give me a full refund. The rep said he could not give me a refund but could give me a $111.00 credit to be used on Frontier Airlines within 90 days. I told him the credit was useless to me because I would never drive 250 miles to use Frontier Airlines.

    This situation was a double tragedy for me because I needed to get a flight immediately to go see my critically ill father in Nebraska. Now not only have I lost what may be my last chance to see my Dad alive, I also lost the only money I had scraped up to make the trip. I am heartbroken. This is a travesty. A computer mistake that I had nothing to do with. And CheapOair would not or will not make it right. CHEAP is right... NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE CheapOair.

We also alert you to this in 3 different areas that you have chosen a flexible date and all are highlighted in green, and yellow, as well as on the payment page, and at the end that you saves $$ by choosing a flexible date.     I had called because I received an alert that my schedule got changed. Due to the change I decided to move my return day a few days back. When I called I was transferred to the sales department to make the change. Someone answered but did not say anything. I heard background noise twice but it them seemed like they put the mic on mute. I was put on hold twice during the call and eventually the call was dropped by whoever it was on the other line.

    I then called back and the sales rep told me that it would cost 300$+ to change the date. He said that if I would like I could speak the airline directly to see if they could help. I said sure, and asked him if he could email me the phone number because my hands were full because I was walking my dog and did not have a pen or paper ready. He said ok, and that I would receive the email in a couple of minutes after the call. The email NEVER arrived.

    Next, I call the airline and they confirm the costs of changing so I decide to buy the tickets instead. I go online and see the price is 321$. I click on them and fill out all of the information, payment info and click book. Right after I book it it sends me back to the front page. I then call CS AGAIN, and the sir tells me that the order did not go through. So I search for the same flight and the price rose to 350$. The CS rep told me there was not much that could be done and he says he saw the price as 341$ and I tell him ok I'll take it. THEN OUT OF NOWHERE, he says it got increased to 346$. I then ask him to check out now because I didnt want the price to increase any further. We then do the checkout and he apparently gives me a flight watcher for free. THAT IS A LIE.

    Three months prior to a planned trip to Vancouver BC I booked flights through CheapOair. Two days later I realized that I was booked to go to Victoria BC oppose to the selected Vancouver; I called to see if I could change the flights and was told that I should have made the call within 24 hrs. After explaining that I was unaware of the problem until now, and that I did not physically input Victoria, I was told that my choices were to pay an additional $200 per person and the price difference based on the airlines price (I also paid for flight insurance) which would double the price I paid.

    I then began looking at the cost to commute between Victoria and Vancouver and hotels. Later (3 weeks) before my departure, I called CheapOair again to ensure that I understood the total cost to make the change, after two calls and some time waiting on the phone I was told that they could only change the dates not the destination. The rep. also mentioned that the system default is to check nearby airports. So because of their default I am flying into another area and paying additional cost to stay there (hotel, the flight from Victoria to Vancouver).

    Although, I admit I choose the flight, I didn't know that the site was searching for other airports, I would have never intentionally made that choice especially since I am going out of the country and to an area I have never been. Also CheapOair should have told me that the change could never have been made, instead on three occasions they left me with the impression that the destination could be changed. Lastly why did I pay for flight insurance which was not a help. My first call to them was within 48 hrs of booking the flights, I guess customer service is not important to CheapOair. Either way CheapOair has their money and they have definitely lost a customer.

    I booked a flight for $606.11. I unfortunately had to cancel, because the work trip was no longer happening. I called to cancel and they mentioned there would be a $100 cancellation fee and that I would receive a credit for $454.40 to use until 9/25/2017. That would be fine, however below is the what is mentioned in their email: "When you use the credit, there will be an airline penalty of $200.00 per person, plus any applicable fare difference. This credit is non-transferable and non-refundable , and may only be used by the person(s) named on the original ticket, regardless of the name on the credit card that purchased the ticket(s)." So I really do not get a credit besides ($54.40) and with the cancellation fee my $506.11 trip ended up costing $706.11! I am not sure how CheapOair can get away with this, but I would like a fair solution instead of owing more money.

    The price listed when I first went to book was the price that's listed on the American Airlines website, but all of a sudden, when I go to pay for my tickets, the prices jumps almost over $200! Each and every single time I would back out and try it again, thinking it was a fluke, but you're scamming people out of money by making them think it's the low price in the beginning and then somewhat forcing them to agree to the extortionist price and the end right before hitting agree. Your company know what it's doing and I'll be sure to never make this mistake of using this service again since it seems this will not be resolved. Terrible mistake on my part to trust a site called "CHEAPO."

    Called to change cancellation, agent gave me a wrong price for changing the tickets. I had to go online to book a new ticket and the price of the new ticket was $300 less than what the agent told me. I tried to cancel my existing ticket, had to call over 5 times. Every time I call I get a different agent and I get different answers for my questions. Employees they're very incompetent, they don't know the guidelines or policies for the airlines they deal with.

    Even when I was transferred to a supervisor I was promised I will get a call back & she didn't so I had to call them back. I will lose $500 because they are unable to provide clear, unified answers regarding cancellation & transferring credit. Would not recommend CheapOair to anyone because of their crappy customer service.

    This customer called just a few days before departure and wanted to make a change the agent quoted her for the date of Oct 2, the fee to change, and the add collect for the new dates. Pax denied. She called back, switched the dates to either oct 1,2 so this agent gave her the price for oct 1, including the penalty and fare difference, she disagreed and hung up. She called back now wanted to cancel, remember the two previous calls she never asked to cancel, now she wanted to cancel and hold for credit, agent quoted her $50.00 cancel fee. She called back again, now only wants to cancel her mom because she will never travel again, and Salma wanted her moms ticket value to go into her name, which tickets are non transferable. The supervisor said she would call her back, it was past the hour, the supervisor was on hold with the airline, and didn't get back to Salma right away, so she went ahead and already bought another ticket. This all happened at the last minutes, each time the customer called, different request, so yes, she did get different responses. But I have reviewed all 5 calls, and the agent's responded according to her questions, but frankly, with all the changes in conversation I can see where it got confusing. But the agent's acted and responded appropriately, and it just wasn't what the customer wanted to hear.

    When booking on the Cheapoair secure website my credit card was not charged correctly. After an email and phone discussion with Cheapoair I was asked to contact my bank to get them to approve the transaction. My bank informed me that there was no reason why the card could not be charged. 2 further phone calls with Cheapoair established that they were not satisfied that the payment was authorized because I was buying tickets for my daughter and her friend. They finally accepted my approval on the phone and processed the payment 3 days later. Not poor service, as it does promote safety and reduce fraud, but not as straightforward as I expected it to be.

    My wife bought a tickect to Merida with CheapOair and within 10 minutes I checked CheapTickets and I found the same flight same date for a $100.00 less. I did contact CheapOair about it and even I sent them picture of the CheapTickets offer. Well, please see their answer: "Thank you for contacting CheapOair in regards to our Best Price Guarantee! Unfortunately your booking is not applicable to the BPG policy due to the fact that the itinerary you provided is not identical to your current reservation.     According to what I know Delta and AeroMexico are partners, and we are talking about the same plane, same flight, same time. Everything is the same but Delta and AeroMexico and the $100 difference. I think they are just playing games. And I am very sorry I did business with them.     Was looking for a flight for 3 for October 7th - October 9th. So, naturally like we all do, those are the dates I put into CheapOair's website. I was shocked to see a cheap flight for Spirit airlines at the top. While I don't prefer to fly Spirit it's a short flight so why not right? WRONG! After I get to the checkout, it is listed as FLEXIBLE dates. So I got tickets for October 10-11th. That's just simply ridiculous, such a bait and switch. But, it gets even better!

    I have since then, called and been on hold now for over 1 hour with no one responding. Their call in says to chat with them, so I tried. No one is on the other end! AND, I send in an inquiry only to get an email telling me the email was UNDELIVERABLE!!! WTF! I'll be calling them again tomorrow simply due to the lack of ethics, and I'll be disputing with my credit card company. Folks this is simple. Stay away, don't trust them, go to literally ANY other site. They have zero customer service, don't seem to care, but will certainly bait and switch you trying to take your money. Never, ever use cheapoair. EVER.

    On 13 September 2016, I purchased plane tickets for my daughter to fly to San Antonio on 1 October. Today is the 29 SEP and I tried to print out plane ticket for her. I opened my email and found the email from CheapOair. I clicked on the link to open the itinerary. When you open the Itinerary there were 3 BIG orange buttons that said "select seats". I clicked on the button and it pulled up seating. I clicked on a seat and it automatically charged me money for a seat. I had no intention to pay for a specific seat. I already purchased tickets. There was no Confirm button. No back button. Nothing! I call the customer service number and the gal insist she can not help me. Some other department does that and gave me a 888-897-0205 and goes straight to voicemail. The Social Media war is on now!

    If you need to change your itinerary and don't mind paying the super high extra charges CheapOair is not the company you want to go with. They really suck with customer service or caring for the customers and even listening to customer concerns. I needed to leave Greece to Barcelona couple day early because of a family emergency and I called them I was put on hold or transfer and the call hung. They didn't bother to call me back. I called several times and I told them I am using a 20 euro calling card so to please rush and to book the earliest flight back- just put me on a long wait and hung up.

    Then I tried to reach them online through CheapOair's state of the art "chatroom". It took me 2 hours to get someone to respond back with a quote and couldn't even book anything. The person that I chatted with promised that someone will contact me back and no one did. I waited 24hours. Then finally I emailed them with my concerns and asked them to change my flight date and again no response. So I ended up having to book my flight with a different company. SO DISAPPOINTED. Never using CHEAPOAIR to book any of my trips again. WORST SERVICE.

    I was trying to book our holiday travel. Finding the flights was easy enough. Chose the flights based on price. After choosing the flights and input the traveler's information and payment information I selected the "BOOK" button. I immediately received a message that due to constantly changing flight costs the flights went up by over $500. So obviously I didn't finalize the purchase which was one of the options. I booked the flights with my husband's credit card and I was required to input his phone number because it was the one associated with the credit card.

    Immediately after not continuing with the purchase a sales agent called my husband and insisted that I made the purchase and needed to confirm. He then demanded to speak with me. My husband explained to him that he was on his way to work and I was not in the car. The gentleman kept insisting that I made the purchase and the purchase needed to be finalized. If the ticket prices changed that much in the time that it took to input 3 passenger informations and credit card information, then why was I able to go directly to the airline sites and book the exact same flights for the original cost that CheapOair had quoted? I will never use that site again and I will definitely tell everyone I know about this experience and recommend that they not waste their time with CheapOair as well.

    I have used CheapOair few times before and I sincerely recommend you to STAY AWAY from booking thru them. I had to modify my reservation that was booked for 1800 and I had to pay an extra 1000 dollars to do that because they left me with no other option and their customer service is so bad. They literally threatened me that if I don't go with that $1000 change of fare option, I would not get any other option and it will be more costly if I call them later. I can provide all the proofs, but I will NEVER use CheapOair again in my life and I don't want someone else to face the same problem that I faced.

    They won't pay a single penny if you want to cancel and if you want to modify any dates, they will take you for a ride. I don't want to go on explaining all the discussion that happened but trust me, DO NOT book with them. At the max, they might offer you a $50 less ticket. It's much more worth to book directly with the airlines or with any other trusted agent, if you know someone. As a last peaceful message for any CheapOair devotees, if you are 100% confident that there will be no change or no doubts on the baggage policies etc, you can try if you want but as I said it's not worth risking it at all for a small fare difference.

    I realized I had made a mistake on my reservation.The agent was very nice and fixed the change for me. Two nights later I get a call at midnight saying I needed to pay $187 more.     Easy to book online. Extra charge of $25 to add a middle name to a passenger in less than 24 hours. Additional $15.90 charged twice to reserve seats on 2 flights, however put 2 passengers in one seat on both flights. When I spoke directly to the airline neither seating was correct, feel the booking charge for incorrect seats should be refunded. Good job I did it direct with the airline.     I booked a hotel with this company and they charged my credit card, although the hotel was never sent the reservation from CheopOair! Customer care phone numbers leave you on hold for endless minutes only to be transferred to another endless hold time. I spent 6 hours the weekend before. I was to check-in prior to going on a cruise. CheopOair assured me that the reservation was given to the hotel & they even went so far as to give me a reservation #... The hotel said it was not a valid #. I AM STILL TRYING TO GET MY MONEY BACK!!!!

    Kelleys hotel was confirmed through a 3rd party reservation site that we used for her hotel, we also received a confirmation number. When Kelley called Sept 5 to check on the reservation, the hotel denied the booking at a later date, because she didn't qualify for the rate that she booked. We immediately contacted the hotel and also the company we went through, and the hotel did get confirmed for her the room at the same rate on Sept 8,. Customer was notified and she also was checking the hotel directly with the confirmation we provided. We received this email from the hotel supplier on Sept 8.

As for the refund, now that is something she will need to work out between her and the hotel, now that she filed a dispute for the hotel charges.,

    I clicked on the wrong seat selection when selecting my seats which I was charged $130 and instead of being able to cancel my order and correct my selection my only option was to submit and call to make corrections but was told I already hit submit and the order was received and cannot be refunded the amount. I was tricked into having to select a $130 seat and not able to cancel. When I spoke with a supervisor I was given the runaround and told there was nothing he could do after I hit the submit button. I wanted a cancel button which wasn't given to me. I will no longer be using cheapoair.

    Customer was not tricked into selecting premium economy seats, the price of the seat was listed there and once you click on the seat, at the bottom it starts to total up. She could of unclicked the seat selection at any time, and started over with seats that were free of charge. At this time, we have gone to united airlines and requested they refund her the $130.00 premium economy seat that she purchased. That money goes directly to the airline, CheapOair does not get to keep it. Our apologies to her for the inconvenience this may of caused.

    I have booked several flights and hotel recently for myself and family and the booking agents have been excellent - patient, thorough and very concerned in getting it just right. My experience with customer service to answer a question a few days later was a jumbled mess of misdirected calls and routings and very long wait times - all to find out why one booked room was a deposit and another fully prepaid. I finally got my answer but it took four [4] different service people and twenty-five minutes total wait time to get to the right "agent".
