While inputting passport details at the CheapOair app it just quitted about 4 times and just stopped working 3-4 times! This is not for the first time. You guys have to improve the software. Very poor performance! Plus I have asked how to use my bonus points several times in the past year-no one had responded me. Why should I stay loyal to CheapOair then? I thought I will have some bargain, instead of horrible app and poor customer service.

I had a good experience with the overall process that was provided. However, I found seat selection very disappointing and strange. There were no side by side seats available on any flights. As a result my wife and I could only select front to back seating, and only by the windows. I find this really strange? I can only imagine that some booking agency prebooked all the seats in hopes they would sell them. I would appreciate an explanation.

Agent was courteous and took time to understand flight preferences. Email follow-up with flight confirmation was helpful. Had never heard of CheapOair until I recently booked flights to and from Ft Lauderdale.

You promised the lowest fare but did not get. Found much cheaper fare. When I tried to cancel your reservation I could not get through on your phone line. I would like to talk to someone about the lower fare.

My flight 5351 was scheduled for March 31,17 from Knox, TN to arrive March 31 San Francisco, Ca. Departure time was changed to a later time 11:11 pm April 14. Arriving at our destination on April 15, rather than 14. We were charged extra for this extra day. In addition we will have to get a one day car rental or stay at airport 11-12 hrs, which will also cost us. Very unhappy.

The customer service went well. Except he told me that I was getting a $50 voucher for a future flight and I have not received that. I am still waiting for this voucher... I keep checking my email and I still haven't received the voucher. Don't know how long it will take to get here.

This is the first time I booked with CheapOair and it was a horrible experience. I booked and paid for my reservation within 24 hours. The reservation and my seats were being changed. I tried to call the customer care to inquire about the changes and was put on hold 20 minutes and then the representative hung up. I called back again waited for 40 minutes to speak to manager. That never happened either. I have called back the next day and as I am typing this comment I am again on hold for 30:47 minutes and holding. All I want to do is cancel my reservation. I have no confidence my reservation is something I can trust... The name Cheap describes my problem... I hope I can get someone to respond... Helpless!!!

It took about 10 minutes to find a hotel in the price range we wanted and with the needed amenities. Check out was fast and simple too. The hotel is for a pre-cruise midway point on the way to Miami from Orlando with 6 people in our group. Overall this experience was great.

Tried to book a flight, multiple destinations. Sister said it was not available. A minute later a phone call with a help desk that made the impossible to give me alternatives, I managed to find one on other airline for same price. Great service. Not the first time.

I purchased original flight tix through CheapOair and when dealing with the crisis that we just went through in Fort Lauderdale, they were nothing but difficult to deal with and overcharged us for more tix to get back home due to multiple cancellations from original airline company.

No issues with booking. Changed by flight within 4 hours. No issues with the entire process. Easy to use and there were lots of choices for flights. Recommend the site highly. Don't hesitate to try the site it will be as easy as 1 2 3!!

The phone service was horrible. The representative was very impolite and unhelpful. I do not remember her name. But in the end when I asked her if they have a review system, she refused to answer my question. My husband also called them once. But the other representative was unhelpful too. After transferring him to different department, they eventually just hang up the phone.

I have searched the site attempting to find out what seating this Airlines may have for Handicap seating but can't find anything. Nor can I find how to request a wheelchair. Please help me to find the area to be able to select an easy chair access as close to the front as possible.

I will never book through this website again. I had to change my dates after a confusion on the dates. Okay $200 gone. No big deal. It's my fault but I really have school to start so it's a must. Also bought insurance for my flight. Flight gets cancelled. I'm stuck in Denver. Tried to get another flight on different lines. Couldn't check in after I was sent confirmation. Still waiting on a flight if not I will be here for 3 days with no place to stay because no discounts or anything. Did I mention on my previous flight they lost my bag? Will not be booking Frontier from this website. I even called CheapOair multiple times only to be on hold or hung up on.

I often ask CheapOair for flights. I got the invitation by e-mail and choose more or less acceptable option. But just after booking I found more appropriate return flight. Asking for change I got the permission. The confirmation e-mail appeared next day and after my call.

I purchased a ticket to go to Oregon and I paid extra for insurance on my ticket. I went to Cave Junction to see my brother & woke up the next morning to 4 & a half feet of snow. I called CheapOAir about getting the insurance to cover my ticket & they said the weather was not their fault! I told them the insurance was "supposed" to cover unforeseeable problems. "Surely 4ft. of snow is 'unforeseeable'," I said. They then said I must speak to the insurance handler & would have to have $200-$300 to file claim. I called the # for the insurance handler & could never reach anyone! A friend of my brothers had to risk our safety to drive 60 miles to make it to the airport.

I booked my Chicago airfare trip online because the telephone customer service rep could not find me a direct flight from EWR to Chicago for Friday March 17th to March 19th flying mid morning on Friday to mid afternoon departure on Sunday. He tried calling me back with alternate times but I found what I needed on the CheapOair website and booked. Very disappointed with phone rep.

I did a reservation for 2 fly ticket for me (Marco **) and my wife (Kayoko **) from Kahului airport going to Fukuoka (Japan) on the 15 of January. After the electronic ticket was sent to me, I did find out that there was a mistake in my name, for mistake was added a middle name, however I have not a middle name. To just change and cancel the middle name, I had to call Justfly for at least 7 times each of all took at least over 20 minutes.
To fix this issue justfly charged me 75 dollars that I find it not correct. After I received a mail asking to contact again your agent and I did call again. Finally today after over 40 minutes call, one of your agent mentioned that the only way to fix this was to book the same flight and later cancel my previous booked flight. New flight was arranged and it costed 789.59 dollars way more compare to the 585 dollars that was the original price of the ticket I booked, same time and same day. Also they informed me that my 584 dollars refund (cost of my first fly ticket) will take from 6 to 8 weeks to get in my account. Please I would like higher management to look into this and have me refund the additional cost I had to pay for just a small change on a middle name. Please let me know as I find this unacceptable.

I booked a flight to India with online special price of $799. They mentioned to get this price you have to call 800 #. I called 800 # and they changed the price of same flight to $899. Anyway I went ahead and booked the flight. Be careful with seat assignment tool as they charged another 68$ for that. I might have missed the fine prints of fees associated with booking. This was my first and last time I ever booked by CheapOair. I have at least 50 colleagues in my team who travel once to Asia. I will make sure everyone is aware of this. I would never recommend anyone booking through CheapOair. Very poor quality of service and seems like customer care reps are speaking from well, you can hardly hear anything.

I booked my ticket (**) at 1:40 pm on Jan 7th, 2017 via an agent on the phone. He ensured I'm getting the best price (CAD 810). I checked the website one hour later and I saw the exact same itinerary (different flight number but same airlines) is offering a better price (CAD 788)! I called 3 times within the 4 hours window from my booking time but every time my call was disconnected (on purpose?!) and even though they had my number to call me back they didn't!!!
Till the last time that I was talking to the customer service agent and he said the four hours window has expired now and if he wants to cancel the flight or do a price match, I have to pay $25 cancellation fee!!! This is a scam! Your customer service agents have been trained to not do anything for people within that 4 hour window of free cancellation! THIS WOULD BE MY LAST TIME PURCHASING A TICKET THROUGH YOUR WEBSITE! And I make sure all my friends and family know about this horrible customer service!

So I admit that it started off with my mistake. I purchased the ticket backwards in destination. I called immediately upon pushing the button. They said there would be no charge for the error and helped me book the right order. I then was charged $203.00 more on my card. I immediately called and they were rude and not helpful at all. One guy said he would give me a $100.00 refund but wanted the agent that helped me to give me a callback which happened within 3 minutes. I was happy they called so fast only to be disappointed when he said he would give me $50.00. I told him the other agent said $100.00. Then he told me he would call me back after talking to the other agent. He did call me back and gave me $100.00 refund but was rude and unhappy. This all happened within 30 minutes of me pushing the payment button. So my trip still went from 661.00 to 849.46. I'M VERY UPSET AND WILL SPREAD THE WORD ON MY EXPERIENCE!!!

I billed a flight and car for a trip. Bought insurance in case of changes. Had to change the reservation. Got charged twice for the reservations. Called to get one reversed and was told it take 5 days. Was given a "reversal number" (**) to have my bank reverse the charge but the number is not viable. Unacceptable!!

The site was quick and easy. Maybe a little confusing in the assign your seat section, i.e., it gave the impression I had to buy seats. It was hard to correct an incorrect number but overall very good. I would use the site again in the near future.

I called yesterday morning to reschedule my flight since my son's chemo treatment had been changed. It was 17 hours since I made the reservation. Maria told me that it would cost $50 to change my flight. Later I realized that I had been charged for another ticket also. I have called various times to be told that my refund would be $250 by one person and $59, $18 and $9 by another representative. I was told yesterday a supervisor would call me. Never received a call. I was told this morning at 8:30 am a supervisor would call me within an hour. No call. When I called back, the representative asked me if I was waiting on my $19 refund. I told him it was suppose to be $250. By the end of that call, he said the billing department would be sending my $250 refund. I have been told numerous things that have not happened or been the same when I call back. I am extremely frustrated.

I booked a flight to Raleigh NC from LGA on 2/10 returning on 2/12 for myself, husband Kevin and daughter and was overcharged 50 per ticket for a total of 184.00 per ticket. I then went online on the United airlines website and saw that the fare was 135.00 each. So I cancelled with CheapOair and booked online with United. I saved 170.00 dollars. Very unhappy with your site.

I do see that you booked this with an agent over the phone, therefore we do have a service fee that is charged for making the reservations, and you also added travel assist which includes seat assignment fees. It is listed in our terms and conditions that we do charge a fee for our service. I do see that your reservation was canceled, and everything refunded. I booked a flight thru their website for a customer and within 12 hr's discovered the last name is wrong by 2 letters... I called to correct the problem. I got someone from India and he assured me the name was corrected. I have my phone record to show that I called... but 2 weeks later at the time of the flight discovered not changed and they couldn't change it. Gave me option to cancel booking with request to refund and of course they denied 1550.00 refund to keep their share of profit. This company looks at their own profits only. Be careful. I learned to call multi times to make sure things are done right and try to request someone who can understand English.

Representative was courteous and very helpful. I don't shop tickets. I know CheapOair always have a good deal. I always travel and get a ticket from CheapOair. But one time I talked to somebody about going to Canada and Canada to Philippines then Philippines to Fort Lauderdale. He hang up. He told me he will call me back but he never call back.

I thought I found a great deal on 2 round-trip tickets from NYC to Israel for June 2017. I thought that perhaps there was a fare sale going on. I purchased 2 tickets through Kayak.com which linked me to book them through CheapOair. I was able to pay the 2 tickets via my PayPal account and I also got a booking reference number (CheapOair Booking: **). They called me and told me that there was a glitch in the computer system and the advertised prices were not the correct prices. I personally think that they should have honored the advertised prices. It just feels like a bait-and-switch operation. CheapOair simply decided to cancel our booking without offering us any deal.

CAR12 discount was not applied. It came a message that is not more valid. After booking and inputting all the data, when attempted redeem made, a message came out that the promotion is not valid for the selected period. Another broken promise.

Really helpful, would use this site again. Compared to many other sites I looked at for flights from Minneapolis to San Diego this was the cheapest site I found and used to book my tickets. The constant emails seemed a little much but that I can live with.

This was the cheapest trip I ever took between Tel Aviv to New York over the past 45 years! Everything done by CheapOair went totally smoothly. The planes by Alitalia are very small & the service minimal, but as I was interested in low cost, I have no complaints. I would definitely recommend CheapOair to friends. Thank You!

In the past I booked with CheapOair & was very satisfied with my purchase. 2 weeks ago I booked a flight from Tel Aviv to NYC through Rome. The seating arrangement is not what I programmed & I requested a change. I asked that the 2 seats I ordered be next to each other (logical) & requested an aisle for one of them. The flight is in April. I have received no reply to date.

I book my flight with no problem. A few days later I book a flight for my sister in law booking number ** Asia **. Then a few days later I receive an email saying that her flight has been cancel because I didn't respond on time and that the flights were getting more expensive. This didn't make any sense to me because like I said I had booked a flight days before and there was no problem. This cancellation was very inconvenience for me. I was hurt. I will never book flights from you again and definitely would not recommend.

I was not aware that seat assignments were $199 total that added to my total bill which was more than using the American Airlines website. I will check their prices first next time. I would be happier if you refund the 199 for seat assignments charge.

The girl from India was/is a credit to your company. (Name? Riya?). She was patient as she had to repeat all the information because there were two of us, and didn't have a speaker phone. I had booked a ticket to Dublin from Kansas City; unknown to me (because it was NOT listed on ANY correspondence) was the stipulation that I must be at the airport 120 min ahead of time. I got there 63 min and was denied a boarding pass (Air Canada). I had to forego a trip that I had so looked forward to. I should have received a reply. Your company should let the customer know the time rules. I surprised myself that I am using your company a second time!

I have never experienced this type of service and unprofessionalism ever. Very disappointed and would never recommend this company to any. I will yelps this company and make sure this is heard all over the internet. I deserve to be refunded without charge. I was trying to get the protection plan and it was never charged so I can cancel anytime and now I can't cancel and won't get my refund??? This is so unethical and unprofessional. I will report this to the highest authority and make sure this is taken care. If you truly care about your customers you will do the right thing.
Omar, the travel protection as you mentioned if purchased you can cancel at anytime. Unfortunately that is not correct. It is for medical emergencies, illness, baggage delay, and death. It does not cover a change of plans as you mentioned for any reason. You booked this online on Dec 26, and travel isn't until Jan 11, if you were having problems booking the insurance online, you had several weeks to call us and add it. I do see that you called on jan 6 to change the dates and didn't want to pay the add collect, that's when you brought up the insurance issue. You can see a complete PDF file on our website regarding the coverage for the trip protection, and will see it does not cover a change of plans. Our apologies for any inconvenience.

Horrible, horrible experience and even worse customer service. I booked this flight in August (4 months ago) to save some money. It was round trip to Seattle. That morning when I was supposed to leave I woke up too late and missed my flight. My fault, no need to be mad at anyone. I called customer service to check can I get new ticket, since it was right before NYE everything was booked. I asked can they help me to book new flight. They told me that ticket is more than $300 and that flight is late in the evening. No one telling me anything about flight back. Since I purchased round trip I was thinking okay, I just need to get there now since I have ticket to go back. Every person I spoke with never mentioned anything about flight back, was talking only about how to get there. I decided to pay extra $300 because I already had my plans and it's nobody's fault I was late.
My vacation was done and I was supposed to go back home. I came 2 hour earlier to be sure I won't miss my flight! I tried to do self check in and it was showing error. I was like let me check with representative. After checking my confirmation code they told me MY TICKET HAS BEEN CANCELED! I almost got heart attack. Person I spoke with first time I called said NOTHING about it and was trying to help me book one way ticket, NO EMAIL confirmation that my ticket has been canceled. They told me I have to buy new ticket and price is $500 now!!! $250 for round trip, $300 to get here after being late to my flight and $500 to go back home!!!

Unable to switch hotels easily. Refund was not immediate even though the money was taken immediately. When calling I was transferred to the "hotel department" which was another delay. I was told the money would be refunded in 7-14 business day. Additionally, the car rental was cancelled because I was not there to pick up 2 hours after my initial flight took off. EZ car rental wanted to charge an additional $30 for another car in additional to $70 worth of useless insurance. I will never use CHEAPOAIR AGAIN. You get what you pay for.

Less than four hours after having had a great experience booking a flight I realized that after having changed the departure it would have been better to return from the place I had arrived. After about two hours I was really disgusted that I was being told I had to pay a large difference. Since I had read the information regarding no charge if I called within the four hour margin I was upset. Now I am happy that it worked out that way since the funeral is set for the 26 and I leave on the 27. That was God working things out for me. I thought the funeral would have been on or around the 19th. I guess I should thank the agents for helping me make the decision not to make the change.

I'm very pleased to write this review of my experience with CheapOair this morning. I was trying to find the least expensive way of flying from New York City to Los Angeles to San Francisco and back to New York. I was looking for an itinerary that would allow me to travel before the end of this month (January 2017) and be and return home within a week. Complicating matters was the fact that I had not decided on my exact travel dates. Of course this made the booking process more difficult and more time consuming.
Nevertheless, the booking agent for CheapOair was outstanding! He was incredibly patient with all the changes I kept making and, while the whole process took close to an hour, he was able to finalize the details of my trip and I am now looking forward to going to LA and San Francisco, departing two weeks from tomorrow. I was then transferred to the agent's supervisor who reviewed and confirmed the details of my trip. In the meantime, I had received an email giving me all the relevant information as well as my e-tickets and credit card receipt. I have absolutely no hesitation in giving CheapOair the highest possible rating and, barring any unforeseen problems, I will certainly be using their services for my next trip.

I selected a multicity flight for two that was advertised at around $1,450, but in the process of booking, after entering my credit card information, a notice popped up indicating the flight had gone up by over $200. When I called customer service I was on hold for several minutes and got a recording of someone introducing himself then saying he could not hear me, the same message repeated though I was speaking, until they hung up on me. Horrible experience and will never book with this company again.

Did not tell us there was a $70 fee for using their services. Booked with an agent. Would I have been charged if I went online to book my flight? Took 3 or more calls to get the answers I needed. They charged my credit card for $466.00 and they charged my sister's credit card $169.39. It should have been equally split on both charge cards. They didn’t' tell us this was what they were going to do. This was confusing for both of us. I finally got the answers I needed but with much confusion on your agents part. Indian accent was so strong and fast that I had a hard time understanding what they were saying.
One of the agents gave me a total amount that exceeded what I thought I owed. He didn't explain that this was split between my sister and I. He told me to get hold of my credit card company and get the answers from them. I finally called again the next day and spoke to a man that I could understand and he broke down what was charged to each account. Thank God. They should have charged equally for the flight.

I changed my dates of travel before I booked it. The price kept showing me $266. When I bought the tickets they were for the wrong dates. The self-help page of your website kept going to the beginning page over and over again. Then 'Polly' wanted me to pay the difference to change the flight and I refused. It wasn't my fault your website was faulty. I'll never recommend this site. I explained to 'Polly' that I had suffered multiple strokes and that I could not speak because of the strokes. She also wouldn't tell me what was going on and I was left wondering what was happening. Twice! And I told her I was slow at typing. But I still wasn't fast enough for her. Your website cheated me out $280 and aggravated a disabled person! You guys suck!

I booked 2 tickets through CheapOair, they sold me the tickets from American Airlines but those tickets were for some 3rd class airline called Iberia air. They won't let you chose the seats unless you pay them extra money, even their own agents says that you have to wait for 24 hours prior before you can chose seats for no charge. But no success at all. I called the customer service. The woman named Katya very rude and won't proceed with the call unless I provide her my credit card info. She won't let me speak to the supervisor, she hung up the phone on my wife.
I called American Airlines, they tell me to call Iberia airlines, I try talking to them on the airport, they tell me to call American Airlines. When I called the original booking company, CheapOair, they tell us to call the Iberia Air. Never ever book the tickets from CheapOair, never fly from Iberia airlines. The worst service ever. They don't deserve the 1 Star. They are the worst worst worst people. STAY AWAY from CheapOair and Iberia airlines both.

I spent considerable time making a booking for a group of people at a price that fit their budgets. After numerous calls to verify my credit card details I was told all was OK. The following day I receive an email saying the tickets couldn't be issued at that price. The button to show new fares took me to a page that did not show the changes. I called again. I was told that the fares had been increased almost 50% so I asked for the booking to be held while I conferred with the passengers for whom I was making the booking.
However, before I called back to discuss the booking once more I noticed a new email was sent explaining that the 'additional charge' 'per passenger' was different to the numbers I'd been told along with a different 'total cost to change this itinerary including taxes and fees'. Another email followed three times, with different numbers yet again. I therefore called again. The final numbers were confirmed through two more emails. Finally, I was able to confirm the flights. The whole process has taken a couple of hours across 3 days.

Due to the high risk of internet fraud, we follow a process that can be tedious, but it is for your own protection. We had tried several times to reach your bank, as well as you, and emails went unread until Jan 5, at this time, the fare was no longer available, due to the lapse between booking Jan 2 and actually making contact with you Jan 4. We did finally contact you, and happy to say the reservation was confirmed, and tickets have been issued.

I have used CheapOair ONCE before. Even after reading numerous reviews, I thought I'd still give them the benefit of the doubt. The first time I used them was while travelling to school from the US to the Caribbean. I was stuck overnight on a random island and had to stay at the airport while I struggled to book my flight for the next day. Worst was that the airport closed at night time so I actually stayed on a bench outside the airport while guarding all my luggage! This time, I booked a flight to Dubai. My husband does not have a US passport but is a permanent resident. He called and SPOKE to a CheapOair rep to book our flight. He explicitly mentioned that he has an Asian passport and NOT a US passport. The rep was confident and confirmed to my husband that he understands and guarantees there won't be any issues.
My husband, me and our 2 year old son paid a hefty $3500 for our tickets thus confirmed with the agent that we don't run into any problems. Going to Dubai, we had 1 stop over in Amsterdam. Returning, the agent had booked our tickets for 2 stop overs, Amsterdam and Paris. When it was time for us to return to the US, we went to the airport. When we got there, we were told by the airline (KLM) that since my husband does not have a US passport, he cannot travel thru 2 "Schengen countries" - the first time we ever hear this term. Instead of offering a different route, KLM cancelled our ticket saying "you booked it from CheapOair, you need to deal with them!" (Yes I will leave KLM this review as well!)
You would think that the CheapOair agent would be given proper training and would know of the Schengen Treaty before they helped you book your tickets! But the customer service rep ("Mitch") nor his supervisor ("Rodrick" the western-named agents with the thickest Indian accents) knew what the Schengen Treaty was and had to call KLM for clarification!
The supervisor asked and put me on hold for an hour and reviewed the call by my husband when he called to book the flight to make sure he noted that he had a foreign passport or not to the agent. He came back and said "yes he did say and it was our agent's error that he booked your flight like this". I was like "okay, can you please give us another flight back home?" After another 30 minute hold, the rep told me about another flight back home with only 1 stop over and at the end of telling me about the flight, said it would be $3000! He said he can't do much.
After more back and forth, and being handed over to multiple agents and supervisor, I was told that the best they can do was give us a ticket 2 weeks after (my husbands and my work started in less than a week! ), and on top of that asked us to cover some of the cost ($800) because "you need to understand our position and costs too"! Now I must pay for the mistake of an extremely incompetent company that needs to learn about their business before actually running it! I would advise to stay clear of CheapOair and either use someone more professional or the airline directly so they can actually help you at the airport in a time of worry or God-forbid, a more serious crisis.

I have used CheapOair on many occasions and navigating through the site was simple and intuitive. A suggested improvement would be to allow the ability to schedule multiple hotels on same booking. I was told by the CheapOair representative that all costs were included in the price I paid including my exit seats that I were reserved for me but when I spoke with PAL representatives they told me that I wasn't given exit seats at all and there would be an additional charge for them. I booked 8 flights with CheapOair. I won't do that again.

I booked a multi-leg flight at 7pm TUESDAY. I chatted online to make a change to the first leg of the flight at 10pm - I was told it was $129. I said that the difference in the cost is only $30. She said I could change it for $90. I told her I would call in the morning. So I call in the morning and I'm told it is $80 to change it. I told the rep that I understand I can cancel for free and it's cheaper on Kayak. He told me there was a $25 cancellation Fee. I said OK. THEN I find out there is an ADDITIONAL $60 non-refundable fee because it was more than 4 hours. So THE COST OF THE CANCELLATION WAS MORE THAN THE CHANGE - and this was not communicated to me. RIP-OFF. I have used CheapoAir MANY times and will not anymore. Even escalation was BS!

Graham, tickets are electronic, therefore you don't receive actual paper tickets. You will be emailed a confirmation which contains the electronic ticket number. 24 hours prior to departure, you will do directly to the airline website and checkin, and print your boarding passes. I made a mistake in "ASSUMING" that the next time to depart Albuquerque would be starting with the earliest departure time after a scroll down to my acceptable returning time/date of the 24th (No 19 hr. layover). Service was good but far too long on the phone to receive credit for US charge. Never did receive full credit. Still waiting for 118.82 but the young man said it could take up to 14 days to receive full credit. Will wait and see. Service good but would help to see Charges either in US or Canadian Funds at the beginning of transaction rather than after booking has been made. That is what slowed the transaction. Having to call and cancel and then rebook. Thanks for interest.

I booked a flight from Jinan to Toronto in the morning (China time) and waited several hours for the ticket to be processed. I was told 20 hours later that the credit card was declined. The card company said no one attempted to charge the card. I had called customer support several times and no one ever told me that the card was declined.
I wasted a lot of time dealing with this and spoke to several representatives and no one told me anything about the card being declined. They told me each time that they were completing a verification process (but the credit card company said that no one made any attempts with them to verify the card in the past day). No email notifications were sent either. I had to cancel the booking with CheapOair (why would I have to cancel if the card was declined?) and then book through Expedia.ca. The booking with Expedia went through without any problems. I was issued an eticket immediately. Checking with the credit card company after receiving my email confirmation with Expedia revealed that the cost of the ticket was charged without any issues. I will no longer be using CheapOAir.

I have been trying to book a flight for the past few hours. Every time I click on the flight I want, it shows me that it is still available at a certain price, and then when enter all my information including cc info, it goes through but then says this flight is no longer available. I understand the website can't necessarily be updated instantly, but I've been trying to book it since before noon today and it is now almost 3pm. I tried calling the call center to book it and now the flight shows at twice the price than I have been seeing it all morning. I am quite disappointed. This has never happened to me before.
Marie, our apologies for the inconvenience. The pricing is cached so it can take the site upto 24 hours to update. We rely on the airline to update the availability, and pricing, and at times there is a delay. You did mention that eventually the site did update. Perhaps choosing a flexible date, there would be a cheaper fare for your trip.

When trying to select seats, the website tries to see seats, so the first display shows the most expensive, and by hitting next it books them, instead of showing different options; then there is no way to change those selections without calling and being charged $15 for seat confirmation. This is a ripoff and I will not use this site again.

When I completed payment for the plane ticket, the website showed "booking confirmed." But then unbeknownst to me until too late; CheapOair sent me an email asking me to "confirm" the ticket I had just bought. And since I was not aware of that email until it was too late, I lost that fare and I had to spend more time on the phone with the agent and ended up paying more. No other airfare website ever has this problem. I shop on Kayak, Orbitz, Expedia, and none of them has had this issue. My friend recently shopped on CheapOair and she too had the same issue.

Then the supervisor says it is CheapOair's fault because I paid before price change and they will fix it. Bunch of employees that contradict each other and don't know what is going on. Since 2 months do I try to change just one letter in a travellers name. I called several times and even wrote to the customer service (without getting an answer). When I called did I get 3 different answers to my request. Please train your agents on the phone better. The last experience was that I booked a nine seat car and got downgraded to a six seat one. I am very disappointed this time. I booked a few times with CheapOair but had never this bad of an experience until now.

Always an easy process. The price will jump after you book. Booking fees, seat assignments, taxes... Do not forget insurance. I received a discount code of $25 off. When applied, I got $12 off? I am a TSA Known Traveler. I am constantly entering this number in and when I get my tickets. It has NEVER carried over to my actual ticket. I am racking up CheapOair Points? Doesn't tell you what they are worth until you cash them in??

I understand that flight prices change rapidly but when I check out, I expect to receive the price that I was quoted from beginning to end of checkout. After putting in my credit card information, they changed the price by hundred dollars at the last stop of the whole process. As a consumer it's frustrating (especially on mobile) because you either have to start the whole process over and hope to get a better deal or just bite the bullet and let them upcharge you. They also make it appear like there are barely any seats left on the plane (for a trip five months away).

I always prefer making changes (including cancellations) online, but that wasn't possible. CheapO just couldn't resist trying to sell me on a "change" instead of "cancellation". Well, kids--if I'd had the info to make a change, I would have. I don't appreciate the pressure (however gentle) not to cancel. But Amelia was professional and the cancellation (once we got past the "change/cancel" hurdle) was quick and painless. But there is NO reason for it to take more than 7 days to refund my money except, of course, CheapO's interest-skimming. Yes, I know about that.
Dear Susan, sorry to hear that you didn't have a good experience. We don't allow changes via the website on your own due to the types of tickets we sell, and the airline penalties and add collects that are associated with a change. If you have used other travel sites, you will notice they don't allow changes either with out speaking with a sales agent, only some airlines offer that. As for "skimming" the money, the money is with the airline you chose to fly with, we are the travel agency and anything purchased on our site goes to the airline to pay for your passage, so the misconception that CheapOair keeps the funds its not correct. Refunds have to go through an airline accounting company once we request it, and from there, goes to the airline accounting department which authorizes the refund. So with the long process, it can take upto 30 days to receive a refund. But happy that Amelia was able to provide professional assistance to you.

I had to cancel this flight because it was only one way and we needed round trip. I am truly shocked and disappointed that it will take 7 to 14 days from my money to be refunded onto my credit card. Especially since I called the very same day when I discovered my error. I personally feel that this is not a good business practice, but will continue to try and make reservations through CheapOair.
Betsy, at times the money will be back sooner if the ticket was voided, it all depends on your bank and when they will release the pre-authorization that is actually the charge you are seeing. So it may only take 3 days, but check with your bank, they maybe able to release the funds sooner.

I would give 5 stars except that when I called within one hour to cancel my flight because I had found a cheaper price, I was promised that the price could be matched and a partial refund issued. I was told I would receive an email within 1-2 hrs to confirm this information. After 2 hrs had passed and I still hadn't heard anything, I contacted customer service via chat to follow up. They once again assured me that I would get an email to confirm the refund within 1-2 hours. Over 12 hours later I still have not received any such email.

Your website is riddled with problems when it comes to logging in and redeeming points. For the past 2 weeks, I have attempted to log in to claim 10,000+ points that I have accumulated on flights. I have not once successfully been able to log in, on two current version browsers (Firefox and Chrome). When attempting to log in to access my points on the app (which I have been trying to do for months), the app crashes repeatedly, logs me out, and displays error messages. This is unacceptable. You offer a rewards points program with points that cannot be redeemed. But the purchase process, of course, works smoothly. I do not recommend your service, as I think this is a breach of responsibility to your customers, and I am reaching the point that I may write publicly about my negative experience in this regard. I would like to speak to a customer service agent as soon as possible to remedy this situation.

I am not sure what the processes with your company but whatever it is the experience I had was beyond horrendous. My reservation was canceled twice claiming that my bank would verify my information. So for the third time I place my reservation I contacted the credit card verification team, and they reached out to my bank. My bank then verified my information and then the representative proceeded to tell me that he would call me right back to verify my phone number. 45 minutes later of me standing next to my phone still no call so I decided to call back. After calling that I receive another representative that didn't know what's going on from the credit card verification team transferred me to someone that supposedly a supervisor. Then after that they reached out to a supervisor that happen to be out for a walk and should be back in 10 minutes.
45 minutes of me being on hold and supposedly getting a callback and my tickets being booked I still have no tickets. I have no confirmation but bank verification has already been done. Then I proceed with anger and I told the representative to cancel my ticket right away. I directly contacted Virgin Air and I landed up getting the tickets even cheaper. Even when I tell the representative cancel the tickets right away magically the supervisor happened to be standing right there when two seconds ago he was nowhere to be found. He mentions he can bring the supervisor on the phone and I told him, "I don't want to speak to anyone anymore. If I don't have my eTicket number in the next two seconds just cancel my tickets."
30 to 45 minutes after that I finally got my tickets canceled, booked my own flight through Virgin Air and I didn't have to deal with the madness your company has to offer. I was really looking forward to using your company for the first time since it seemed like a seamless and a really good idea but you guys have prove me otherwise on several occasions. Not sure how this company even still survives.

I booked a flight for a senior citizen. The cost of the ticket was 332.00. Then I was informed that he could not fly alone, so within 30 minutes I cancelled the flight and was told I would receive the full refund... Then I received an email stating my refund was processed for only 86.25. I am also waiting for another refund from months ago, which was never refunded as promised.
Mr. Ranke, after looking over the reservation it was determined that you called a month later to cancel the reservation. The airline tickets are non refundable. When the agent canceled and sent you an email, it was to advise you of a partial refund for insurance, and seat assignments, not the cost of the plane ticket. However, you have taken it as a refund including the cost of the airline tickets, which is not the case.Also, your plane ticket for the booking you gave here is not 332.00 but was for $121.20 you were given refunds on dec 21 in the amount of $24.00, $86.25, and $14.95 for any further assistance or questions regarding this, please contact our billing department.

I don't want to spend too much time on this. But your guys' customer service is beyond terrible. First off they never listen to my needs and the correct way to go about helping me fix my problem. I have tried on 3 separate occasions to book a flight as a gift for my parents but all that seems to happen is I get tossed around and transferred from line to line and my problem never resolved... I've sat on hold on my phone for over 30 mins just to be hung up on by your guys "travel assistants" who really are no help at all. By far my worst traveling experience and I will make sure not to recommend you guys when asked about easy and efficient traveling.

Whenever I booked a flight it change the date on me and I cannot fly on the date it changed to. Wanted a refund within 10 minutes and I lost $150. Stayed on the phone on hold for almost an hour. Your company left me in a country to depend my way back home after the Asky airlines couldn't find my confirmation number for me to board a flight from nigeria to america on Thursday. Customer service and supervisor hung the phone up and refused to help me, and I missed a flight on Thursday not knowing how am getting home, then I heard my ticket was cancel when it wasn't suppose to be. Was at the airport in nigeria waiting to board plane, airlines stated it was not confirmed by your staffing.
I had to pay for another ticket which was not fair to me. Caused financial hardship, stress for me in an International Airport. When I needed to change my flight, I called CheapOair where I was given absolutely no help and was told to email the company. I was sitting at the airport, wasn't like I had time to be sending out emails with questions. The associate was rude and wasted the very little time I had left. When I had to change flights to reach my destination, the pilot walked off the plane and was delayed for 2 hrs! I paid for 2 tickets due to no one helping me in exchanging the first one, sat around an airport because of an angry pilot, and still have yet found anything resourceful in using CheapOair and the CheapOair Credit Card. When I got the opportunity to pick my seats, the service showed me "suggested seats" for my flights. The first set of seats was free, and so on the next page, when I saw suggested seats, I said "ok" without realizing that they were seats I would have to pay for! I booked flight ** for a flight to CZ from LAX. My grandmother died so instead of flying back to LAX I changed flight to Baton Rouge for funeral. I accepted the flight change of $1400 but found the flight was not changed, I was given new ticket. This is not what I asked for. I want my money back.
