    They were not upfront on cost of baggage and seats on this flight. Everything is extra expensive. I would have possibly taken another airlines. They should tell you the seats are extra, carry on extra and luggage more expensive than other airlines.

    So I booked a flight on their website for a specific date and after I booked and got the confirmation I noticed the dates were wrong. So I called to fix the dates and they said I would have to pay 200 to change them. When I was on the website I did notice the dates I put would change and kept having to correct them, so I fixed the dates and booked the flight only to later find out the dates had changed again. The lady I talked to said they had been fixing the website and now I have to pay for their websites glitches. Never booking with them again.

We did review the call and you did call to make a change, after finding out the fees and the air fare difference was too expensive to change to Mar 31, that's when the discussion of our website was faulty. We didn't hear the agent telling you that our site was having problems causing the wrong flights to be booked, so there must of been some miscommunication. We did discuss changing this further with you, and you asked to leave as is that you would speak with the airline directly. This was booked on Mar 11, but you called on March 20, it was to late to void out the booking and get a refund. We hope that the airline was able to accommodate you, and resolved to your satisfaction.

    I was a bit frustrated with CheapOair (and other) online booking processes (at least on my smart phone) if there were any complications. Most are good with simple round trips but fail if you task them with much more. I was particularly frustrated that I had trouble comparing one-stop flights (when going from Texas to China, one would rather go to LA or San Francisco, rather than Detroit or Atlanta), but "Romano" was great. I wasn't expecting much with the Call Center in India, but he had an easily-understandable English accent, was very patient and offered to find alternative routes, ending up getting me an "open jaw" for about $100 more than a round-trip! Very pleased.

    I had a problem with my booking with CheapOair regarding the ticket pricing. I called them a week or so after I find out that I got charged more than we agreed upon. The person I talked to told me that he will review the transaction and will call me back. After several days Manson called me back and resolved the issue. He sent me a credit confirmation right away for the amount difference. He was so helpful and easy to talk to. I was pleased with the transaction and will be using them again for my airline tickets.     CheapOair called me regarding a multicity tour booking I entered in the website. I booked the Singapore airline flights with CheapOair. But after I booked it, I checked Singapore airlines fare and it was cheaper. I called them back right away after I found that out. The person I talked to said that they will match Singapore airlines' price and will credit back the amount difference in my credit card. I trusted that they will give me back the difference but when I got my credit card statement after one week the credit was not there.

    I called them again, they ask me why I did not call right away. I told the person the reason why and he said he will ask his manager and he will call me back for the answer. I never received a call anymore from them. Until now, I did not get a credit for the airfare difference which is $180. I will never use this company again. I never intend to use this company but they were the one who called me and told me that their airfare price was the best. Don't trust this company, it is better to just go straight to the airline website and book your flight.

    Booking a domestic round-trip flight was the most painful experience. I spent hours (mostly on hold) over the course of two days trying to resolve issues with a number of agents. One agent booked my return flight to the wrong airport for which my credit card was charged. Once that correction was made, no e-ticket was issued. If I hadn't checked with the airline regarding seating, I wouldn't have known about the problem, as I received a booking confirmation for the flights from CheapOair. Charges for the changed flights, including an ARC charge (travel agent fee?) for $116.24 were posted to my account. I lost count of the number of times I got disconnected in my attempt to speak to an agent or supervisor. Total nightmare. Will never use again.

    Gina, our apologies if the booking process was rather long. When your credit card was declined on 2/27 and we didn't hear back from you until 3/3, the fare had increased. The agent did assist you with finding new flights at a reasonably cost that you agreed to. That's when it was determined that the return flight was booked into a nearby airport. We did correct the flight but there was the original charge of $116.24. The tickets did get issued correctly and again our apologies for the delay in the process. It normally does not take more than a few hours to confirm a flight.

    In traveling to another small city in B.C. I booked through CheapOair with travel insurance. But the Doctor's appointment was changed so tried to change the date of my flight and agent was politely non helpful and said only recourse was to claim insurance. So contacted insurance, polite, but no form of follow through... So now 2 calls and over an hour on standby, no resolution. They have just scammed my money and used the polite, stay on hold forever and "We can't help you??"

    I was looking for a flight online. I found a ticket at a reasonable price. I put my information in the computer to purchase the ticket. The price changed one time and I accepted the first price change. The price immediately changed again and I clicked the back button. Two days later I found that I was charged for the flight. I spoke with a representative about a refund and she refused to give me a refund and she would not tell me her name. She then told me to hold for a few minutes for a supervisor. An hour later and no one answered.

    Lester, we are currently working on this. We do show that you did accept the higher fare, and we also put a warning on the screen do not back out of the transaction to avoid being charged. As you mentioned, you backed out! we would of sent you an email immediately for your review. When you booked with expedia for a cheaper fare, you received a cheaper fare because you changed your dates and the flight times, and we may of also offered that lower fare as well. We are working with the airline to see if they will refund the ticket, but because the dates are different, and times, they may not consider it a duplicate. Our apologies for the inconvenience!

    I bought a flight to New York - Manila last April 3. I talked to the agent and told me that as long as I have the travel insurance I can rebook my flight. I gave them a call yesterday because I wanna change the date of my flight. They charged me 180 dollars. They told me that it's the difference of the two flight. After the call, I searched for my new flight and discovered that it has the same price with my old flight. They charged me the amount that I don't deserve to pay. Wrong information to customer.     Abie, we have investigate your concern and found that you booked the insurance online with the flight information. No agent assisted with the purchase of the insurance, nor can we find any evidence you spoke with an agent prior to calling us back to make a change. Insurance does not cover a change of plans, or date change therefore you would not have been covered by insurance, and we did send you a pdf file for your review of what insurance covers. The additional cost was for the airline change fee, after 24 hours your fare is subject to any airline fees applicable for any changes. The fare was the same, but the add collect was the penalty. We did refund you the money for insurance, as you no longer needed it. Our apologies for the inconvenience.

    I purchased for the 1st time 2 flights which I had to canceled and paid insurance for. Trip Mate just makes it painful to get your money back and CheapOair customer service is terrible. I have spent hours trying to figure things out of how to get a refund and even simple questions take forever. Do not buy from them, if you have an issue for reason with your trip it will be a nightmare to resolve it. Never buying from them again. Priceline is way better and hassle free.

    3 weeks ago I bought flight tickets via Booking agency CheapOAir. For telephone assistance they charged 300 USD. Four days ago I've got email notice from agency - CheapOAir on flight schedule changes. However, the Airlines confirmed the original flights. I cannot LOG IN at the Agency site to re-confirm my Original Bookings. CheapOAir didn't respond any of my calls and emails on this change. I don't know what to do next. Whether my Original Booking is valid or not. Does it mean that I was stupidly scammed and spent 2000 USD for nothing... I worked hard to buy these tickets. Now, I am broke. I demand justice.

    Michelle, sorry for the inconvenience you experienced. We have reviewed your reservation and noticed that you where charged for a reservation you made online and tickets issued. You called back later, and made changes, therefore a new reservation had to be made along with issuing a new ticket, which causes another charge for the new ticket. As explained, the first transaction was voided, and will fall off your charge card within a couple of days. So because of the change this caused 1 temporary charge.

    My original flight was cancelled so I called CheapOair so that I could have them notify the rental company I would be a day late and to hold my reservation. I was willing to pay for the day I would miss but the representative for CheapOair would not do that. He offered to book another reservation at a much higher rate so I asked for the rental company car number so I could contact them myself. The call was disconnected while he was giving me the number and although he had my number he did not return my call as he said he would.

    When I arrived I found the address listed on my invoice was for another company. I had to have another rental company agent call someone who did have a car available to rent. She also explained this happened often with CheapOair. Thankfully the rest of my trip went as scheduled but it cost an additional $118 dollars for the rental car. After my trip I contacted CheapOair to complain. At that point they were willing to call the rental agent to confirm I had a reservation and that I was a no show. They had no response when I asked them how I was to contact them when there was no number on the invoice and the car rental company address did not match the name. The rep offered to credit the $15 booking fee and gave me an email to contact to further my claim.

    I have not heard back from them since. I will not be doing business with them again. While booking the flight was fine, it's fine with any of their competitors as well. However the nuisance and lack of service when combining other parts of my trip wasn't worth it. I managed to change the hotel reservations I had booked on my own without issue but CheapOair seemed more concerned with generating additional fees or preserving the ones they had rather than assisting me.

    We had to change our travel plans due to severe circumstances that were not in our control due to the travel ban. We did our best to make the CheapOair customer service and numerous managers we talked to on the phone that we would face getting detained both in our destination country and upon returning to the U.S. but no avail. They absolutely didn't care. I finally had to cancel the tickets almost getting nothing back on the two tickets fare I had paid. I will do my best and suggest anybody I possibly can reach not to use this website.

    I am happy that I was able to have the flight at the rate. I am even happy at the way I was treated by customer service when I have to change the itinerary. What I'm not happy about is that I've been charged 4-5 times on my card and it's giving me anxiety. I talked to the customer service and they said it should only be about 750 but my statement has been over 1000 dollars that has both gone through on my card and there are pending payments. Would like to speak to manager or someone experienced to come to the bottom of this. I'm a college student with a job and those type of charges is making me way more anxious than I already am.     I booked a flight on CheapoAir. I think CheatOair would be a better title. I was quoted $240 Australian. I made the booking but after filling out my details, it came up with price change $340, I didn't look carefully and clicked then realised afterwards that the airfare had gone up $100. Usually I am taken to my bank's website to check details but this didn't happen and the transaction had gone through. When I checked my bank account it was $351, so I had paid over $110 over the quoted price and on top of that the airline had charged me twice so $700 was taken out.

    I was told I could get a refund within 24 hours and after a 40 minute phone call to CheapOair I was told that I would be charged $110 Australian to cancel, which ironically is the amount they overcharged me! There is no way a fare goes up $100 in the time it takes to book, it was never $240, but always $340. I feel cheated and angry, the customer service person, told me I wouldn't be able to get a cheaper fare and was unapologetic with regards to the situation. Please be wary of this website and airfare change right at the end of the booking.

    UPDATED ON 03/05/2017: Since writing my review about being charged twice and an extra $100 being added to the final charge at the last minute CheapOAir have been in touch and have said they will refund the difference in flight costs. However, when I was charged twice $352 was taken from my account and only $333 refunded so I am out of pocket $19 Australian due to an error on their side. The same amount should be refunded.

    My family and I booked a trip through CheapOair on British Airways. Issues came up and my family and I had to cancel our trip. We called cheapOair, who kept telling me that there was a $300 cancellation fee charged directly by British Airways. I then called British Airways who informed me that their cancellation fee was only $85. So for whatever reason, CheapOair is charging $215 more than they should be charging and they were blaming it on British Airways saying that that was the fee charged by the airline, which is incorrect. When I tried to tell them, they refused to listen and continued to say that the fee was charged by British Airways. I've spoken to multiple representatives at CheapOair who all told me the same lie. Terrible customer service and don't even try to help. I HIGHLY recommend staying away from this CheapO-Company.

    I was really disappointed with booking my tickets through CheapOair. After booking my tickets I was then prompted to reserve my seats. After looking them over I was tasked with paying for them. After I contacted CheapOair they said they would undo the seat assignments and clear up the cost of those seats. However, after having to pay CheapOair an additional $25.00 for talking with them the charges were not reversed and I paid them the $25.00. Needless to say I will NEVER book a flights with them again.

    I had a fairly large party, seven adults, for whom to arrange international travel. I tried several different well-known sites to estimate the travel and prices before I tried CheapOair. CheapOair was slightly less expensive and significantly easier to use than the other sites. Two practical examples. 1 - The website trip planner works better than other sites. Especially for multi-city trips. Plus you can easily mix and match outbound trips and return trips with the 'select this departure' feature. Also, shows you the Delta in price for selecting return trips. Makes price comparison easy. 2 - Other sites will not let you book more than six passengers at a time. That was a problem since I had seven persons. I was told by the other sites that I would have to make two separate bookings and take my chances that the flights and pricing would still be available. Not acceptable.

    I was very relieved to see that CheapOair allowed me to reserve all seven passengers in one booking. I planned my trip on the CheapOair website, then called an agent who was able to verify all information very thoroughly and complete the booking. (Pro tip for travelers: learn and use the NATO phonetic alphabet so you can clearly spell names over a phone. It is more clear, plus you feel super cool like a heroic astronaut or fighter pilot for using the phonetic alphabet.)

    Anyway, the CheapOair booking agent was able to beat the prices on the website and that made it worthwhile calling them. Plus I was able to replicate exactly the bookings on the website while he was looking things up on his end. After the transaction was completed, I quickly received an e-mail confirmation and I went to the airline website and was able to confirm that the booking was accurately recorded. So I am all set for my trip with a major piece of planning completed. So, in summary, I was able to get a slightly better price from the booking agent than what was on the website and nice flights with good layovers. To top it off, it took a reasonable amount of time to complete the booking.

    I a better flight on Hotwire and when I called CheapOair whose website said you could cancel within 24 hours which I did I was told I would have to pay a $50 cancellation fee. I then got a bill for the full $1,399 for the flight that I canceled. I am now in dispute with them having American Express represent me. CheapOair sent them the itinerary that I had canceled and told them I still owed $687.96. I just finished writing a letter stating the events surrounding my claim. These people were really bad with service and wait time and lying about my cancellation and charging my credit card all kinds of fees. I also had called United directly and CheapOair intercepted my card and took over the booking. Be sure to never do anything with them. They are shady. I am also reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.

    I purchased tickets from these people then I received a email on seat assignments and they the same person on the tickets twice and left one person totally off the booking, they also had one seat listed twice. They did this on the two flights they sent me. This means they put 2 people in the same seat. I called and the person I talked to was very rude. She stated that everything was fixed. I ask her to email me the corrections. I did receive a email with almost saying the same as the old ones. They sent me a email asking me to rate the service I had received on my complaint.     What a waste of time, space and money. Book a trip in November, had to cancel in Dec 2016. Was issued a 'credit' for airfare, minus $25 fee. Was happy with the credit. Was two different credits, AA and United Airlines. Going to re-book the travel plans for this March 2017. Was informed there was $200 per credit penalty per airlines for using the credit. Making the credits worthless, since they were each under $200. CheapO's excuse, "We're just a travel agency". Who is issuing false credits, they stole my money.     Booked round trip travel from MSP to IAH (3/8-3/27/17) on Delta through CheapOair. Paid so I would be able to select seats in advance. Delta won't issue seat assignments; says because of type of ticket I purchased and Cheapo should not have told me that could happen. Everybody is passing the buck... And I'm in the middle not receiving service I paid for. Cancellation of seat charge is not acceptable -- I want a seat assignment more than 24 hours in advance of my flight as I don't want to end up in a middle seat in the back of the airplane.     Marilyn, the fare you purchased on Delta airlines is what they are now selling as a basic economy ticket. They just came out with these fares over the weekend and it is a bare minimum fare that is suppose to save customer's money. It is alot like the low cost carriers that do not include the option to get seats, preadvance boarding, and no carry on luggage. The money was refunded back to you because your fare does not qualify for advance seating, which will be done at the airport by the Delta agents. Our seat management team has been trying to contact you to discuss. Our apologies for the inconvenience this new fare structure with the airline has caused.

    I purchased 4 tickets to Boston via JetBlue late on a Monday, Feb. 13th and realized early the morning of the 14th that the tickets would have been $140 cheaper had I purchased directly from JetBlue. I had seen the advertisement on Cheapoair that I could get a refund if I found a better deal. When I called early the next morning, about 9 hours after I purchased the tickets, Cheapoair informed me that the refund option was only good for 4 hours. The takeaway is that you should check directly with the airline first and then be aware that the refund option is only good for 5 hours. I am out $140.

But you have upto 24 hours to cancel and get a refund, but there is a cancellation fee of $25.00 per person. It seems as though the cancel policy was misinterpreted, and the time frame of the call.     I purchased two tickets through this site. I never received a confirmation email. I went on the site to search for my bookings and it said they did not exist. The email address for customer service doesn't actually exist, either. I said I'd never use CheapOair again and then was told by the agent "I can waive the fee." Really??? Yes you did type in love muffin in the name field when the booking was done on Jan 14, you called us on Jan 18, 4 days later and the ticket was no longer refundable, or changeable for name correction. We have a process we must go through, and that process includes contacting the airline for a waiver to make a change to a name. Policies regarding name changes after 24 hours has become extremely difficult and no longer a quick fix. We asked for the your picture ID so that we could forward to the airline, and that's where the delay was, receiving a response from the airline. Jan 25, the airline allowed the correction and a new ticket was issued. Because travel was not until Apr. 2, the airline worked urgent issues first! glad that they did allow the correction, and it's very important too always review your reservations on the screen, and the email we send immediately and report any problems so they can be fixed immediately. It's not always a guarantee the airline will allow any corrections once tickets are issued. But case is resolved!

    We booked a flight with CheapOair. And because I didn't have a credit card I had to ask someone else to book for me. So when they booked, CheapOair charged them 470 when the website said 314... The person booking didn't realize the price difference and just booked. When I got all the info on the the flight I realized that they overcharged us by $180... By the time I got all info. I realized what happened... They said they cannot do anything about it, it was only few days later. They said I can't cancel and even though the price was 314, 6 days later they told me the day she booked was 404 + taxes... which taxes were supposed to be included.

    So was 6 days after they would not cancel flight or reimburse any difference.. the day she booked she saw price was 349. But they said it was different... Days before and days after the price was in the 320 range. I talked to at least 11 different people and 4 different supervisors and they did not seem to care whatsoever. They said it was my problem. They did reimburse me 38 off the 470 but far cry from 314. Customer service in my case was awful... as they didn't care that the day I was speaking to them the price was 314. I have dealt with airlines and other site quite a few times and never had an issue. This was the first and will never deal with cheapoair again, stick to the big names. Please remember all flights before and after were in the 320 range and the day we booked was 349.

    After completing a booking for my family of three, I reviewed the Ticket Number and Airline Confirmation email to find that I had made a mistake and not put a space between my daughter's two middle names. So I called right away to have this corrected. The lady on the phone was named Nicole, and she was polite and helpful, she charged me the $25 USD to have my issue corrected. Upon receipt of my revised Ticket Number and Airline Confirmation email, I noticed that Nicole had fixed my initial problem, but created a new one by switching the genders on the tickets of my husband and my daughter, so she was listed as male, while my husband was listed as female. So I immediately called back to have this issue fixed, and was not charged. I received the help of an agent named Carmello, who put me through to a gentleman named Remington, who helped to fix the issue.

    Upon reviewing my new Ticket Number and Airline Confirmation email, I noticed that the genders had been corrected, however the issue that I had called to correct initially had reoccurred, and once again my daughter's two middle names had no space between them, which is not how it is represented on her passport. As I'm sure you can understand, at this point I was starting to become frustrated. I was going to have to call back a third time to fix another mistake created by CheapOair customer service staff. It was getting late in the evening, I have an infant who was due to get up in a couple hours, and all I wanted to do was resolve the problem with my booking and go to bed.

    I called back a third time, and spoke with a female agent, who's name I didn't catch. She updated the booking for me and stayed on the line until I received the corrected confirmation email. I asked to be refunded the $25 fee for my initial mistake, seeing as there were two subsequent mistakes made that I caught, which were not made by me, and they necessitated me spending a substantial amount of time on the phone. I was denied the refund. I asked to be put through to customer service so I could plead my case. While on hold waiting to get through, I hung up and decided to go to bed because I was very frustrated at this time, and I didn't want to take out my anger on someone in customer service trying to do their job.

    I hope you can understand how these events contributed to an overall negative first experience with CheapOair. I acknowledge that I made the initial mistake on the booking, but getting it fixed was difficult, and somewhat aggravating. Due to these events, I will not be booking through CheapOair.com again in the future. Thank you for your time in reviewing my complaint.

    This is my first time buying ticket for myself and my child. I directly called them on the phone to book my flights. They found my flight right away. Unfortunately I wasn't sure about the time of the flights therefore I wanted to wait on the purchase. But the rep told me that If I'd purchase travel plans for our flights then it'll be a no problem for me to cancel it anytime I want and get my full refund. Then he started reading the policy to me starting with "THIS IS NOT GOING TO APPLY TO YOU" and continued reading on the policy of "these tickets are not refundable" etc. And when I asked clearly about how the insurance works he said that I need to provide a documents.

    He never told me that there was a third party who handles the insurances, never told me the name of the insurance, basically he didn't give me any info on the insurance as being a third party company and I automatically thought that they have a special department as I have never worked for this kind of company. I really don't know how these things work. I assumed that they'll take care of me If I'll need them to do anything w/ my flights. As I was still thinking about my flight time someone got my car and I had to change all of my travel plans. 9 days later after someone's got my car I realized I can't leave town. So called and explained the situation.

    The supervisor (the first one who I talked to) said she is agreed that the sales rep wasn't clear enough about the insurance and she is happy to escalate this to the escalation department. She said that their escalation dept takes care of this kind of issues. She also asked me a time frame they can call me following day.

    Yet again no one called so I did. The supervisor's not available to talk with me but Garrett, another supervisor. And Unfortunately this is what he told me: "well unfortunately there is nothing we can do with your request" as he read the comments of the other supervisor. And there is no way for me to reschedule my flight without paying the cancellation fee of over $240. And when I asked to talk to the escalation department, Garrett, the supervisor informed me that there is no one available to talk to me about my case but they may call me back.

    When I asked how soon the escalation dept will call me based on his experiences as a supervisor, He told me that me that they cannot make time for me and he has no idea when or if they would call me since they are very busy with other important cases. Unfortunately this company only cares about selling tickets but when it comes to customer care there is none you can get to unfortunately. Horrible customer service and no respect. It is so sad when you hear there is no one available for you to talk since they have more important cases than yours. :/ Shame on this company!

We were emailed to confirm changes to the flight with No date requirements for response time, then when we accepted the change after 15 days, they send us an email 30 days after they accepted our response (accepting the changes) and then came back to say it's been cancelled and to re-book, we have to pay the difference!!     Once I got the flight changed computer problem. Got charged extra $25,00 for changing whatever. Airlines needs to clarify what size can be carried on to the plane. The flight I got changes planes at least twice and don't want luggage lost so want to carry luggage with. Have suitcase that measures 23" with the wheels but description say 22 1/2 and you can't get an answer from anyone on this. Then in the rules it says total inches 45 what gives. Need to be more clear on carry on luggage. Guess it will be a surprise when I get to airport.

    Worst customer service and worst travel portal. They are frauds and will cheat you to make more money. They will try to rip you off for making any changes to your ticket. Don't use CheapOair for your travel. They are the worst and will not cooperate with you. I wanted to make changes to my ticket. They asked me to pay change fee of 200$ which is fine but they asked me to pay extra 200 for fare difference. I didn't see any changes to the fare, the price was same and still they wanted to make more money out of the transaction. They said "Oh it's some tax" etc. But all the the taxes were included in the 200$ change fee. When I contacted airlines directly they confirmed I should only be paying change fee because my ticket is for the same price which clearly shows CHEAPOAIR are frauds and want to rip you off.

    First of all, this has been the most horrible experience with booking my flights: 24th Jan PM - I booked SFO-Cancun for 5/24-5/29 for $881 - I paid $15 extra for the return leg to get a more suitable flight. 25th Jan morning I get a call from CheapOair saying that the airline is not confirming and the cost is going to be $500+ more for the itinerary I booked. I go back to the website and the same itinerary I booked the previous evening is showing at the same price I booked at $881 - but I get it that there may be an issue.

    25th Jan AM - So as told I call back and change my return flight to SFO to depart just after midnight and the rep tell me that there is no additional charge. I tell the rep that the same flight is $15 cheaper on the CheapOair website. She refuses to change the price. I again go on the website and confirm the new itinerary is $839. But I am anyways charged on my credit card for $881. Rep tells me that this is fully refundable in 4 hrs if I need to cancel. 25th Jan AM - I call back to cancel and am told that I need to pay a cancellation fee of $25 per ticket. I am eventually charged totally $45 for cancellation for the 3 tickets I booked. I tell the agent to transfer me to the supervisor and I am on hold for a long time. Then it seems someone picks and disconnects and I am now in queue "to speak to the next available agent".

    The same ticket that I was charged $881 is still on the CheapOair website for $839 despite me telling the agent. I have now booked the same itinerary with a different website for the cheaper price of $839. Honestly this is ridiculous. I wasted my time and money for no good reason. Never again am I going to book with CheapOair.

But nowhere I could find, unless in the fine print, what constitutes a "Covered Reason". These are deceptive market practices.     I found the flight I ended up booking for $60 for each one of us less than I had to pay when I actually booked it. My choice disappeared soon after I found it. It came back 2 days later and more expensive. As my husband and I had no other choice in terms of timing... we booked it. The previous attempt to book the same trip... was an utter disaster. Your agent, Greg, booking # **, was too rude to say the least, implied that I should be quiet and listen to him, took 90 min on the phone to resolve nothing and the next day sent an email cancelling our flight after another agent had fixed his mess in less than 10 minutes.     I had booked flights but, unfortunately, the dates became inconvenient. I called to change the dates and the agent found alternative and cheaper flights. I asked her to hold the flights while I checked with the travel company. She said that was not possible but she would stay on the line while I made the call. I made the call and changed our vacation dates but when I returned to the CheapOair call the line was dead. This caused me to have to call back and begin the procedure all over again. Ultimately we did not get the flights we had changed too and did not get the cheaper price. The second agent I spoke to said the other agent was busy so he had to start from scratch. Bottom line was we did not get the refund and did not get the flights we had arranged for with the first agent.

    I understand that flights fluctuate fast but if the first agent had stayed on the line we would have been very happy with the refund and the flights she found. The second agent said she had tried to call me back but my line was busy. Of course it was busy... I was trying to get back in touch with CheapOair. What a mess!!! And what frustration and extra cost to us. If flights and prices change so fast why didn't the first agent stay on the line for me??? Finally I did get the flights booked and your agents are very patient and understanding. But it still upsets me that I did not get the flights and price I wanted from the first agent.

    When booking my flight I specifically clicked the luggage policy that was available and it clearly stated that I was entitled to one piece of free check in luggage which proved incorrect. Fortunately I kept a copy of the policy! Secondly I book an AVIS car rental and at no stage during the booking did CheapOair warn/advise me that the price did not include insurance! Only on arrival at the AVIS counter at the airport in Malta was I advised that I needed to provide a €10,000.00 deposit! To keep a long and terrible experience short I finally cancelled my booking and paid THREE times the amount at AVIS to rent a car!

    What do I want? A full investigation into my booking process, an apology, a refund of both the $7.00 fee for the car hire booking as well as the $34.00 I paid for my check in luggage. Finally, I would like CheapOair to compensate me for both the extra costs for my car hire and for the embarrassment you caused me at the airport! I was going to book another flight for two people to Malta in April; however, I believe you have lost a long-term customer!

    The website was very useful except for one important item. It did not easily show how the note meal preferences. When I called the airline after ordering the tickets, it would not arrange this, saying that only the source from which you ordered the tickets can put this in the system. After two more calls to CheapOair, I was able to request the special meal orders. I just hope that they passed this on to the airline, and the airline will arrange this for all of my flights.

    This has been my first time returning to CheapOair since 2013, and after this experience I now know why it took so long to return. Having to get home to California for my Father's funeral on Monday, I thought the package I purchased was the best I could afford on such short notice. Prior to pressing the "Book Now" button from the internet, I called in and spoke with Britt. He and I walked through every aspect of my package (flight, hotel and car), and he even reminded me to confirm all the information before I made the purchase. This was the only part of the process that worked!!! Approximately, 3 hours or so after my purchase I decided to see I could make seat selections for the flights. Only to find, that I had no flight, hotel or car listed as purchased on your (CheapOair) website. Thus, began the first of many, many calls and transfers within the CUSTOMER SERVICES Departments.

    From the first call I placed at 3:52 pm CST (starting with Amy), ending with Patrick calling me back at 8:32 pm, was the process of looking my full reservation. During all these multiple calls and transfers, only the last 3 which were Paul, Baracus and Patrick were made aware, or forwarded the reason for my call. All the other reps, and I spoke to (maybe 7- 9 in all) before resolution, simply made the transfer, which caused me have to continually repeat why I was calling.

    I could locate the flight, and car on their respective websites, but there was no hotel showing up at either company (CheapOair nor the hotels). What disturbed me, was the fact that I was being told that the package wasn't purchased. When I know that NO AIRLINE would book/reserve a flight without the flight being paid for. Plus, my credit card had a pending charge for the full package amount of $728. Now, I informed several of the representatives of that fact, especially when they started suggesting that I would have to pay additional money, due to the hotel price change. This was unacceptable!

    Eventually, the hotel was purchased according to Patrick and I should have no further issues with my package. I do appreciate the work and effort by the last 3 individuals to resolve this issue. I was also, very happy to hear that this process was complete and that everything I paid for was now available. However, this whole experience was most infuriating, especially while trying to get home for an already traumatic situation. I have no other words to describe how disappointed I was.

    Updated on 03/10/2017: The response to my review came from CheapOair's Refund Department. Issue #1, the refund notification came to my email address, with another's name listed. Thinking the wrong name on the email was simply an oversight of mass mailings, I didn't think much of it. The email stated that the company would refund the hotel charge of $243.67. Never having asked for a refund, I thought "great, this would resolve my issue with the company". So I waited, and waited. Finally, at the end of February, beginning of March seeing no funds returned to my credit card I contacted CheapOair about the refund that was mentioned. What I have discovered is that since no one contacted me about the initial booking number (**), the credit was never applied to me.

    Speaking with a Soroya (sp) in the Refund Dept., I've been attempting to show that because the room was re-booked (**) with CheapOair's company card, the company essentially reimbursed itself. But made it look like I was the recipient of something, when I actually received nothing. As you can see by the company's response, THEY were having issues confirming my hotel. As far as I knew my "Package" which included the hotel, was purchased. How/Why as the purchaser of a "Package" would I know that the hotel portion wasn't confirmed? Especially since booking the "Package" the flight and car portion of the reservation went through without a hitch. Again, my issue is with the double talk that's coming from the company. I welcome a call from someone on the management team in response.

    Only way to change something is to call your agent. Phone from Europe to USA... Language, transmission... The best sites have a manage point for every reservation. There you can check and change your option/for money. I need invoice, with VAT number. On any good sites is possible immediately. Yours? My wife's names is wrong: **, not **. It's impossible to manage it. Other sites is possible. I changed the data of flight from 27 to 28. You charged me 50 EUROs (OK, no problem) but real, in my bank, you return me the money for tickets. Why? It's my first time in my life when I don't know what the real situation about my tickets. I called Air Serbia. For them is OK minus my wife's name. Please answer.     This is one of the best customer service experience I had. My recent trip was an insured trip. I had to cancel the same for some reasons. The customer service charged me 100 dollars to re-book it. They mentioned that the trip insurance does not cover trip cancellation due to sickness (Clearly mentioned on that site that it is covered) and they will charge another 200 plus dollars for re-booking. Don't try this - they lure you with low fares and charge you for every request you make. Would prefer to deal with Expedia which is safe when you book a ticket with insurance.

Not his problem but when I was making the reservation, Cheapoair website would not take my code: ** from a Dec 25th email. I was switching between two web pages and when the code to save $20 was not accepted. As I was checking back and forth, somehow I ended up with a flight into Dallas Ft. Worth with only 41 minutes for a change of planes. It would have been a disaster as I don't move quickly and expect to be traveling with a service dog.

    Efficient booking. Booking site operated smoothly. Only criticism of the site is the come on pricing used to gain your attention, an issue common to all such travel sites. It also was confusing to use the seat selector and I believe I was charged for a seat which should have been free.

    I was on the way to the airport for my flight when I called CheapOair to check on my reservation. I was told my name was not correct on my ticket and that everything was OK. I could get it fixed at the airport when I checked in. We talked to American Airlines and British Airways, they were adamant that CheapOair had to fix my name on the ticket. CheapOair said, "We can't change it but we can sell you a new ticket for $2000", next call it went up to $2500. CheapOair refused to help us. The agents we spoke with were very unkind and rude.

    After 3 hours at the airport with my new wife in tears, we missed our flight and had to cancel our honeymoon while our luggage was now on a plane without us. I have never worked with a company with so little compassion. They made no effort to help fix this issue. I only received excuses for why they would not help unless we paid over 2000 dollars. I contacted customer support for help on DEC 25th 2016. I found someone who made me feel like this company might be reputable and they were going to help try to get my ticket credited back, Supervisor: **. Here it is 1/19/17 after checking back via email hoping for a response, still nothing.

    I have done this before. It is not that difficult. The only thing that eked me was I asked for a specific airport & the list always started with a different airport. I understand that if I wanted to travel & deal with tons of traffic that it was cheaper... know that... but would have cost me the same or more to hire car service to get there. However you put the request in should come up first, then the list of options.

    The web browser recalls previous searches and implements duration over selected dates. As a result we mistakenly booked the return date for 2 of 3 tickets which followed an initial purchase for a different traveler. We called to fix the issue and were dropped in mid try multiple times from the phone center while on hold with agents. Finally, we made it far enough into the process with a rep who suggested we cancel the booking and rebook which we did. During the call we were dropped 2 more times. He called back once but gave an excuse that he was having trouble doing so (that's a problem for CheapO not our phones). In our last call with him he canceled the ticket and gave us a one time password. We never received the cancellation email.

    We phoned back and the new agent said the flight could no longer be canceled. The only change was we now had 2 more tickets invested through CheapO. Fortunately, we were able to cancel our correct booking which we had just made. The agent said it was the policy of the airline that the original flights could not be canceled. We then phoned the airline to verify that the flights could not be canceled and they indicated the CheapOair rep was absolutely incorrect. Caribbean Air allows cancellations for a $75 dollar fee and will be happy to do so for our return date when we check in.

    Conclusion: CheapOair has confusing and contradictory information for its reps that functionally turns them into liars. Also: The second agent referred to above kept speaking over me in the conversations. It was a very unpleasant experience. The same Flighthub tickets were only $10 more expensive and that site indicated right at the top that the tickets could be canceled. I will never use CheapOair again as I have never had problems like this with Flighthub, Redtag or Expedia.

    I called to update credit card info which rep did. She was reluctant to transfer me over to customer service who handled car rentals. Eventually she did and I got great service. I even was able to add my return flight at same time.
