    Ultimate worst company I have ever dealt with. I showed up to the airport only to find out CHEAPOAIR had cancelled my flight. After calling them they said they tried to contact me by phoning me. As an airline company I would expect them to know, when you are traveling out of the country you do not have access to phones back home. They did nothing to make the situation better and when I phoned them (4 different occasions) I had rude, unhelpful staff, who hung up on me mid conversation. I was left stranded at the Rio airport in Brazil. I had been traveling for 2.5 years before this and honestly this has been my worst experience thus far. Do not make the mistake I did. AVOID THIS WEBSITE AT ALL COSTS.

    I wish that I had written down the name of the person who was so gracious in help with making our reservation. He was very understanding and was careful to make sure that he was getting all the information correctly on the booking, he explained that the information had to match our IDs’ information at the ticket counter once we were ready to board the plane. He went on to say that it could not be changed at that point. I also explained I would need assistance to the plane because of the distance from the airport to the plane. He assured me that would not be a problem. Thank you for a very good experience, because this was my 1st time talking with Southwest Airlines.

    My traveling partner made her reservation. Hung up, I called back. Ask for senior citizen price!! My ticket went up 50$ in a matter of 5 minutes versus hers. What gives??? 50$ in 5 minutes. I had no other choice but book the flight. I want to know why the cost went up so quick!! This really has put a damper on my trip. Friends name is Delphine ** and we are on the same flight.     They a rip off. I bought two tickets from the agent. 30 minutes later I found on their own site better dates and cheaper. So, I canceled the old tickets and bought new ones. The cancellation was only 2 hours after the purchase. They charged me $150 to cancel the 2 tickets. Basically they lied and steal your money.

    I had one issue when I was ready to purchase my tickets online, and unfortunately I had to call CheapOair for help. That and trusting the person who assisted me was the biggest mistake. I told her I wanted to purchase 2 tickets round trip. She decided to purchase One ticket to go and one to come back. So I basically ended up paying $656 for each ticket when their price was $328. I even explained to her I had locked the price through FLYER for $328.

    At the end of the conversation when she gave me the total price I didn't analyze it, since I had given to her all the information regarding the flight number, airports and times, because I had done it previously online, not thinking she was going to do what she wanted, instead of what I requested. When I realized what had happened I called and according to the supervisor there was no way to fix the problem, he only listened to the end of the recording when I said "Ok, thanks for your help". He should have had in account my requests in the recording as well, which were 2 round trip tickets and confirmation number I had when I paid to lock the price for $328.

    Customer service was the worst, they treated me bad. I spoke to 5 different people to be exact, to the point I had to tell one of them that the way he was speaking to me was unacceptable, they don't let you explain, and when you try they raise their voice. None of them even made a slight effort to help, I guess they received a training to be tough and not to help customers. VERY FRUSTRATING!

    On 05/16/16, I bought a $500 flight to Spain and booked through CheapOair for the first time. Today 05/17/17, I had to cancel my flight because personal reasons. There were NO options to cancel online and you have to call their customer service. Since I was calling within a 24 hour window, I just expected that it would be a simple, free cancellation, like it is with all the other 3rd party sites like Priceline and Expedia. I come to find out that though I would get the refund for the ticket, CheapOair charges $75 FEE. The rep stated that he could "discount" the fee to $65, but cannot waive or make other changes because of the "computer system" which I feel is a false statement because if it can be reduced by $10, why can't it reduce the full amount or more.

    I feel that the fee should've been CLEARLY written out on their website instead of being hidden under fine print bc if I knew then I probably would've thought twice before booking with them since I knew there was a possibility of cancellation. By law, the airline gives free 24hr cancellation so it does not cost CheapOair anything. In reality, it would not even cost time to speak with an agent IF we have an option to cancel online. I am very disappointed with my first experience with CheapOair.

    Avoid this agency! They won't honor what they promised if there's a price change! Be careful that they don't offer free 24 hrs cancellation like their competitor like Expedia, Priceline etc. I booked two flight ticket through their website & then received email confirmation that my booking was successful. Then the next day they sent me email saying my booking didn't pass through since the airline increase their price several minutes after my booking so CheapOair won't honor the price I already booked!

    (BTW, you, as a customer, has to honor what you booked otherwise, CheapOair will charge you more than $200 for a $300 ticket!) I called back & the representative told me not to worry. He's very positive my booking will go through. Asking me to wait for another 24 hours! I called them the next day & they said no way they could honor the original price! So they cancel my booking. If sth happens, looks like they always follows the rule: Cheapoair the first, customers the 2nd. Worst experience ever had. Will never do make any booking on CheapOair anymore. There are many agents with reputation like Expedia/Priceline/bookit.

    Stay away - they are shady and rely on small print to charge you hidden fees! I two airline tickets for international travel 6 months in advance. The fare was a good deal and they advertised a 24-hour cancellation no-risk and within an hour I had to cancel because the airline had a limit on the number of infants that could travel on a flight so as I was waiting for my child's passport, they required that in order to assign him onto the flight, I needed his passport copy (which was not yet ready).

    I called back to cancel and only then was told that there was a $75/person fee to cancel, which is hidden under their legal terms. All major airlines as well as Orbitz, Expedia and other sites allow a 24-hour no fee cancellation, which is what a person believes to be industry standard. Their customer service is poor and unhelpful. Anderes their "supervisor" was of no help and merely only recites their legal type, which doesn't account for their false advertisement.

    Also, it's so shady how they require you to read to them a PIN code to charge you for this cancellation fee. I'm sure their legal department has figured the workaround because, it's a superfluous and predatory charge to consumers that believe they're dealing with a reputable company. Here's what they make you do. "This is not a confirmation that your ticket is refundable or will be refunded. After we've received your One Time Password (OTP), our team will review the policies of the airline and make a refund determination."

    CheapOAir delivered by far the worst booking experience I ever had. :( I'm professional Quality Assurance Analyst, and it takes a lot to irritate me and cause this review. There were a number of hidden fees ($59 for seat selection, $74 for canceling online booking within 30 mins, etc.) My reservation had multiple technical issues from minute one. 1) During reservation flow I got an error, however reservation was made. 2) I can't access my reservation after completing user registration during booking process. 3) Partial information perished to Turkish Airlines, so I'm not able to enter my information directly with carrier.

    Customer care calls were totally useless – did not resolve a single problem! So I decided to cancel and re-book with Expedia. However there were surprising $74 cancellation fee per ticket even canceling within 30 mins! :( For my every inquiry on the phone I got "impossible" reply to fix my user access, assign seats, etc. And lastly, even without extra booking fees, total cheapOAir reservation cost was about $85 higher than with Expedia, along with virtually useless customer service, located in India, and hidden fees!

    In order to cancel tickets I had to go through some lady in the Ukraine who told me she would call me but never did. She said that I would not have to pay a fee but I had to spend $75 per ticket for the refund. All in all different people told me different information! Very unprofessional and disorganized!     On April 4 2017, I purchased online tickets for my wife and 3 children from Houston IAH to Kabul Afghanistan for my wife to attend her father’s funeral in Afghanistan who just passed away. When I received the itinerary via email I noticed that my two daughters’ name were not showing on the airline tickets. It was maybe because we were so stressed out and sad I might have forgotten to add them, so I called the customer service line and a person by the name of Kumar ** answered my call. I had two reasons to call CheapOair. Reason 1: I wanted to add my two daughters on the same flight with their mother and reason two was to change the ticket's return date from April 28 to May 25 and it was less than 24 hours from the time of purchase.

    I asked Mr. ** to add two of my children one aged 9 years old another 6 years old and I asked them about the price. Mr. ** said, “It will be $506,” without explaining to me what the amount he asked was for? Since I asked Mr. ** about the cost of two new tickets that I was about to add we were not talking about changing the date yet. Mr. ** put me on hold several times, at the end he said, “Sorry, that department is not reachable or something,” and I later found out that department he was referring to was for booking for minor travelers. And Mr. ** asked me to call back later.

    By the way, in the beginning of the call I provided my credit information for $506 thinking it was for the two children and it was not. I called back to find out what was going on, after over 35 minutes of wait I was able to reach another person who said the cost for 2 new tickets would be $2,430, I replied by saying the other agent whom I earlier spoke with said $506, he mumbled and said the airline prices are changing. Since it was a family emergency I had no patient to resist. I agreed to pay that amount and booked the tickets.

    On April 9th I called back to ask why I was charged $506 and to dispute that charge, the agent escalated a case and referred me to a supervisor. I was on hold for over an hour and I had to end the call because I had to go to the bathroom. I returned shortly and placed another call, agent who introduced himself as Mr. ** referred my call to a supervisor and again I was on hold for over 2 hours. Finally, I was connected to a supervisor named Natian who by the way said he was in India. He asked me to wait while he was listening to recorded conversation, after about 68 minutes of hold he said that it was not the agent’s fault. The charge was right, I explained to him that it was less than 24 hours I made the changes, he said he could not do anything.

    At this point, I asked Mr. Natian to change the return date back to 28 April as originally planned. Mr. Natian (the supervisor) asked me to pay $ 202 per passenger in this case 4 passengers total $ 808 If I wanted to change the date. I tried to explain and Mr. Natian refused to listen and said if I wanted to change the return date I had to pay 202 per passenger? I agreed to pay because I could not leave my wife and children overseas. So, Cheapoair charged my credit card over $ 1,250 in addition to $5,300 to the airline cost just for changing our flight less than 24 hours as they promise on their website for free of charge. I am planning to hire an attorney and seek legal help. Cheapoair put me on hold for over 3 hours to only charge me $1,310 at the end.

    CheapOair doesn't even deserve one star. This company is below zero star. We reserved a flight (booking #**) for Florida back in Dec 2016. The representative on phone by mistake booked it on wrong month. We needed on 28th Dec and he booked on 28th January 2017!!! We realized on the day before boarding.. so called CheapOair and requested correction or cancellation. But the people at CheapOair were so disgusting (it takes forever to get some manager on duty on phone line)... They did nothing. They knew it was their representative's mistake still they didn't gave us refund.

    After several trials of phone calls CheapOair Rep informed, that we will receive refund after their 2 billing cycle??? Which was almost closer to 2 months! We waited all these months (5 months) never received our money back. It sucks... This is the MOST UNPROFESSIONAL company I have ever seen!! This was my first and the last time using CheapOair and would recommend everyone not to use it. Very, very unsatisfied.

    I was using the online booking. It took a while to go through the whole entire process especially I was booking for 5 people and then you get a pop up the flights was not available was frustrating. If they are not available, they should not be posted. What I thought saved the day is that one of your agents called me and offered to help. While it took almost an hour with him on the phone, we were finally able to book the flight I wanted and the price. I went out that evening and I had received a confirmation page. The website had switched full middle names to initial only for the 3 out of 5 passengers.

    When I contacted the Cheapoair, they tried to charge us $50 each, and we were within 24 hours but the agent said I had only till last night to change. So the manager Armando was going to submit a waiver for the change. I did not hear back from them so I called almost 2 weeks later when I received my VISA and notice the cost was more than the original price. I called the billing department Liska and they charged me preferred seating which I did not select because the agent had done it and to date we (5) do NOT have seats. What a joke. To now they told me a manager would be calling but no one has called back. But when I was booking online and it did not go thru, an agent called back within seconds to have my business. Judging by similar complaints I find on this site; I can see that this company is a complete scam.

    Cheated of airfare. Ugliest company I have ever dealt with. Stay Away! On Dec 27, 2016 I prepaid for a ticket from UIO to MDE with Insel Air bought thru CheapOair. After a few weeks I received an email from Insel changing my schedule from a 1-hour layover to six-hour layover. Insel asked if I wanted to keep the reservation, adding that it's Mandatory that I keep it. So I agreed to keep it. In March I received another Insel email stating that Insel was not sure that they could buy enough airplanes in time for my reservation, and asked did I wish to keep the reservation, so I asked that it be cancelled.

    On March 28 I received an email from CheapOair stating that my reservation was cancelled and a refund would be credited to my card. On April 18 I bought new reservations with CheapOair, prepaid. On April 28 I received an email from CheapOair that my original reservation had been reinstated with another carrier - and there would be no refund. So I'm stuck with two paid tickets. I can only use one. HOURS on the phone, HOLD HOLD. Dozens of emails, and I'm still stuck with two tickets. I threatened to sue them and to complain on public boards. Now they have removed all record of bookings pending from my account.

    I used the site to book a flight from Dubrovnik to Zurich. There were only a few seats left at the best price, so I booked the flight. Somewhere along the way I thought I saw a notice that I had 24 hours to cancel the booking with no charge. Not so I found out when I tried to do so. I think the charge was $60-$75 apiece to cancel (as in says in the small print somewhere on the site). I also noticed I had been charged for "Enhanced Seat Assignment", of which I was unaware. Based upon the charge I chose not to cancel.

    A week later our plans changed since our cruise booking company had booked us for a cruise that had a route other than the one we committed to, so we had to move the date of the flight out two weeks. CheapOair handled that quickly and efficiently, charging us an additional amount that our cruise booking company is covering. So in summary, I may use CheapOair again, but I will certainly be more careful when booking next time.

    Be aware of their sneaky policy before you make a decision to book on their website. U.S. Department of Transportation regulations require that, as long as you've booked a non-refundable ticket 7 days ahead of your flight, you're entitled to hold your reservation and the fare and change or cancel your reservation within 24 hours of booking, without paying a cancellation fee. However, CheapOair doesn't honor that law because it's a third party. They charge an absurd fee of $75 for canceling your ticket within 24 hours. It's basically all going into their profit because the airlines don't charge them for anything for canceling the ticket. Such easy money to make for them!

    Xiangrui, very sorry to hear you have had a less than an enjoyable customer experience. The policies you have mentioned are intended for airlines only, and not 3rd party travel agencies. The airlines will allow you to book a flight and place on hold for 24 hours, not 7 days. Tickets have an expiration date for issuance, and you also risk the fact the fare can increase, so the 7 days is stretching it. As a travel agency, we are allowed to charge a service fee and have no set guidelines for doing this. It's the cost of doing business, and a service was provided to you. Our apologies if the fee has caused an inconvenience.

    I called 3 times to get their deal today for 105.40 and they were so rude. You can't understand them. And I asked for a supervisor and the guy came back, the same guy telling me I was using speakerphone, there was a bad connection and there wasn't. And I called again and they will be in route again so I didn't call back. Wasn't able to get anywhere and the flight was from Indianapolis in to Pensacola Florida.

    Inaccurate information conveyed by agent. Yesterday I made a reservation. I discussed with the agent my need for aisle seats on all my flights and he assured me that for a fee of 14 dollars, I could get them. I agreed. He told me that I would receive an email within the next six hours of the seat assignments. I did not. So I called this morning and I was told that what he had told me was inaccurate - that seats cannot be assigned!!! I am particularly concerned because as a senior citizen with a knee problem, I need an aisle seat that allows me to stretch it out. I am deeply disappointed.     I've used CheapOair in the past for international travel, so I searched here first for an upcoming trip. I found some great rates with good travel time where I'd leave at a reasonable hour and land at one, without too long a layover. I selected my trip and went to the next screen to enter my payment information. Once that was done, I hit submit, but received an error message. It said a field was left out, but I couldn't for the life of me figure out which one as I'd filled out every blank space. I tried hitting submit again just to try, and got the same error, so it was time to call customer service.

    I spoke with a very nice gentleman who was overall helpful - I'd like to say that first. But what made me pretty angry was when I asked about the missing field and he told me it meant the fares had gone up since I'd selected them. I told him I'd selected them minutes before, and immediately filled out my payment information - not a day later, not an hour later. He said the airlines could change prices at their own discretion. That may be the case, but that is a pretty big bait and switch for someone who selected flights under the assumption that what you'd listed as the final rate would be what I was paying. It's extremely shady for my flight to have suddenly gone up $80 dollars in MINUTES. He did his best to give me a discount, but it didn't quite reach the amount I was supposed to have been paying. I am sure he did what he could, and I let him know I understood it wasn't he who changed the rates.

    But here's a direct message for CheapOair - If someone selects flights and finishes checking out within a certain amount of time, like most ticketing websites such as Ticketmaster, Fandango, etc. who give you 10 minutes or so to complete a transaction, they should be guaranteed what they think they're getting, regardless of supposed airline whims.

    By giving me the false commitment by the agent named Drew CheapOAir cheated with me due to which I have to pay 1060$ (USD) and also the return journey has been cancelled. With booking ID **. And as a compensation they offered me 100$ waiver in the new ticket which is a big joke made with a customer in name of service. I will never use this service again and will soon file a legal complaint against this agency.

    I booked a return ticket from Warsaw --.Mumbai (14th April 2017) and return flight on 8th May 2017. When I came to know that my wife was not able to complete her single side journey I immediately called CheapOair agency (US) branch and as per talk with their agent whose name is Drew he confirmed me that only single side journey of my wife is cancelled and not the return flight. Now when I approached with my wife on 8th May 2017 on Mumbai Airport to take a return flight the Airlines didn't allow her to board on flight saying that she didn't took her departure flight from Warsaw and hence her return flight has been cancelled.

    Now I had a confirmation of CheapOair agent that her only 1 side journey is cancelled and not the return flight. CheapOair also confirmed me that it's the mistake of their agent and asked me to wait for 3 days in Mumbai so as they should take some decision. I tried calling them several times from India but their agents took tremendous time to connect with their supervisor which caused me lot of financial loss in mobile recharge as of international calls. Also they accepted that it was their agent's mistake but still they can't help me out and I have to pay entire amount of new ticket for me and my wife although they can give me discount of 100$. This caused me about 1200$ for new tickets. Nearly 1000$ to stay in Mumbai for 3 days until they gave their stupid decision. And also the original flight ticket (Warsaw to Mumbai and Mumbai to Warsaw).

    Please provide me some guidelines how to file a legal complaint against such fraud airways agency as I am in complete mood to fight the legal case against such cheaters in market. This had happened with me and I want to make everyone aware that don't book tickets with such agency which will frustrate you in your tense situation. I have talked with the advocate to get the process to file complaint against CheapOair agency in European Union Consumer court and also in India.

    I'm traveling in November and I had a specific flight and times to leave LAX. They were able to accommodate me after going back and forth a bit with costs that were changing in front of her but I got the right flight and times squared away by the end of the conversation. I tried getting my seats reserved but I found out later that it's best to do that with the airlines instead. Also they do not deal with TSA pre-check so the airlines was also in charge of that arrangement. Just know it's best to check with your airline after you book your flight to make sure all your accommodations are done properly.

    I bought 4 tickets from CheapOair, 2 tickets from MCO to New York and 2 tickets from New York to Detroit. CheapOair charged me $50 a bag instead of the $40 a bag from Spirit Airline. I called to book my flight and after the booking the guy assured me that I am entitle for my refund if I called within 24 hrs, to cancelled or make a change even if there is change in the fare.     I booked trips with this website and expected the trip is cancelled within 24 hours, as it said on the website. However, when I try to cancel within 24 hours’ time frame (1 hr with 30 minutes wait), it said I had to pay cancellation fee ($75/app). I was on the phone with them for 50 minutes and they gave me discount to 40/pp. I never felt so cheated in my entire life. The customer service on the phone said that it does not display the cancellation fee because it cannot display all information on the website. I went back and try to look for anywhere saying the fees, you actually had to click on the fonts 'Book with confidence, 24 hours cancellation', the fonts had the same color with other fonts that you had to book, which does not indicate that you had to click. Cheapoair is purposely hiding the cancellation fee information.

    I booked an air ticket and website stating full refund within 24 hours. But at cancellation within 24 hours, I was charged 50$ fee for cancellation and 5$ non-fundable tax. This is a way of ripping off customer and be aware of "FULL refund" trick. Also, the price of the ticket is not fully stated until you booked (in my ticket about 10$ more for some fees/taxes).

    Their web page had an advertisement "cancel within 24 hours". I had to cancel due to health reason within the stated 24 hours timeline, I was charged what they called a small fee of $75 per ticket which is about 8% of the ticket price. Coincidentally I had a similar situation for another flight with Priceline which I had to cancel within 24 hours, they kept their word and did not charge me anything for canceling. Zip. Zero. These guys are misleading their customers with big penalties by hiding it in their terms, keep away, there are a lot of other honest agencies out there.

    I made a reservation for two people and somehow when it sent, it had only the second person's middle name on it. Needless to say, changing it was very difficult. Cost me money and made me have to change my date and basic reservation. But the company lady in India stayed on the phone with me TWO hours to get a new reservation.     I made one of the biggest mistakes of purchasing an airline ticket through these scammers. When I wanted to change the flight dates they wanted me to buy four new tickets. They would never reply to your email or provide you any written information or policies. I end up canceling four tickets with $0 refund. Lost $2200 to these cheaters.     I booked flights for my wife but the tickets were issued in my name. I didn't notice this until it was too late. When I called CheapOair, they told me they could not refund the tickets but could offer a voucher for future flights on the same airline. I called back later to make arrangements for the voucher and their story had changed, telling me the airline would not authorize the voucher. I contacted the airline and they said that CheapOair, not the airline, was the only party that could offer refunds/vouchers. Apparently the "Cheap" in CheapOair is the company's stance on refunds/vouchers. This company used to provide great customer service, but has now lowered its standards to that of the major airlines. Shame on them.

    I booked a flight with CheapOair, but when I got the confirmation page, the website had switched the middle names of my wife and I. When I contacted the company, they tried to charge us $50 each and wanted to give us a new reservation WITHOUT the preferred seating we had paid for. They tried to charge us an additional fee for the new reservation, but after much protest, they seemed happy just to gouge us for the preferred seating. I finally just cancelled the reservation for a fee of $150 plus $14.95 to put the money back in our account. Then they notified me that we would not receive the refund for two weeks! They are withholding $2,669.20 for two additional weeks when they took the money out five minutes before we called to cancel. Judging by similar complaints I find on this site, I can see that this company is a complete scam. The Attorney General needs to shut them down from doing business in the United States.

    Does not even deserve one star. As a Canadian consumer I was forced through to the U.S. site of this business. I booked my flight which saved approximately $25.00 from booking directly with the airline... Or so I thought, not so much! When I received my confirmation e-mail it was in U.S. dollars and at this point in time is a significant increased difference to the current value of the Canadian funds. I contacted "CheapOair" immediately (within 3 minutes of my original booking) and spoke with several individuals to explain the situation. Essentially told, "Too bad. You should have noted it was a U.S. site that you were on." It was an inexpensive flight that would have cost me $110 but now is around $180, but luckily according to CheapOair - I could -pay a $50 USD, cancellation fee; but they "will be nice" and reduce it to $25! Yay! - Like that would help.

    I explained this was an emergency trip to a family member diagnosed with a terminal illness and unfortunately will be the first of many to come - still no compassion or decent customer service. Have learned my lesson - will NEVER use this company again. Regardless of my personal situation - this company should have had some common sense to see an error had been made on behalf of the consumer and had the wherewithal for some attempt at decent customer service given the timeline of events.

Advisor blamed me for the mistake, which is a lie, and would not help to change the date back to the date I chose. Advisor said I would have to cancel and charge me $50 for cancelling the ticket.     I had a patchwork set of reservations to try to accommodate graduation dates. I needed to try to upgrade to two queen beds which they could not accommodate. But the hotel itself could give me the two queens and I rebooked there.     Made a huge mistake by booking a flight on Cheapoair.com. Due to a system glitch, my flight dates got switched to alternate dates that had me returning home before the reason for my trip. Since I had not even looked at those dates, I didn't think to verify them before booking the flight. Within 10 minutes I realized the error and contacted their Customer Service department. What a joke. After about an hour of trying to make headway via the chat window, I gave up until the following day. This time I called the number listed and over the next two hours talked to 'Kelly', 'Patrick', 'Veronica', and 'Victor', was disconnected 3 times, and blatantly lied to. Victor was the last person I talked to that day and he told me I was in luck that I had 5 days to cancel the airline portion of the reservation but I still needed to pay a $50 per ticket 'convenience' fee. Convenience for what - their computer messed up and I was being asked to pay for that.

    He finally said he would mark it down to $25 per ticket, and since I was at work and couldn't spend any more time on the phone, I agreed. He sent an email but didn't bother to tell me I only had 3 hours to respond, which was not possible. Today when I tried to respond, I was told it no longer worked so again I called the customer disservice. Today I talked to 'Max' who told me the tickets were now non-refundable. I asked to speak to his supervisor but of course she was in a meeting. I suggested they review the recordings from the day before and they will hear that Victor said I had 5 days to cancel. He promised he would and that a supervisor would call me back. Funny there were any number that could call me back but none that could talk to me. And, predictably, none have called me back yet, even though it's been more than 5 hours.

    Fortunately for me, I used a credit card so I will dispute the charges thru them but I should not have to do that. I used their website in good faith and they sold me tickets for dates I did not request and cannot use. Then they insulted me by wanting a convenience charge for their screw-up, and then lied to me about being able to help me. Trust me, the prices on the other travel websites are just as good a CheapOair so do yourself a favor and stay away from this ripoff site.

We do not change any part of your reservation once the booking has been submitted for purchase. This was an over sight and you chose the first flight that came up with the cheaper fare, when in fact you needed to move down the availability. We offered to cancel this with our $25.00 cancel fee which you denied. We did review the call and the agent did not advise that you had 5 days in which to cancel with a refund. You had 24 hours from the booking date to cancel with a fee.

    CheapOair is probably the most unprofessional travel agency I have worked with. The customer service is unfathomable. Not only was I on hold for hours, but I was hung up on by multiple agents. I never once received a callback. Then I received an email almost 3 months later trying to resolve the situation. 3 MONTHS. The agency is unaware of the policies the airlines they work with uphold. I was on a three-way call with a CheapOair agent and a Copa Airline agent discussing a flight rebooking solution when CheapOair wanted me to pay a $300 fine that the airline didn't require. This agency is a total scam and I will never work with them again.

    I purchased a ticket with CheapOair. As soon as I paid I realized I had one letter wrong in the name for the ticket. I called right away! I talked to representative who informed me that I had to pay $25. I was angry because I'm on CheapOair for a reason. When I became angry she put me on hold and never came back. I emailed the company how dissatisfied I was with them and was going to forget it. 24 hours after I emailed I received email telling me I needed to send a PDF file with driver's license in the PDF file and full name right away. So I did, then I received an email stating I needed to contact customer service. I contacted customer service. They asked me if I wanted to change the name, I said I think I would like to just cancel. He informed me that it would cost me $50. Then he told me I would receive my refund within 7 to 10 days. I was not happy but I accepted it. I just wanted to be done with them.

    Then approximately 36 hours later I received an email stating even if I paid the $50 I still will not get a refund for my ticket. Well I panicked because I already purchased another ticket with another company. I called my credit card company and filed a dispute. I'm not sure how this is going to work out but I feel like they just messed me along the whole time. They charge me $25 they never change the name. They charge me $50 to cancel and now I think that they are going to charge me the full taking them out anyways. I cannot believe it.

    My daughter bought the ticket through CheapOair for me on Apr 22nd 2017 and swapped my first and last name. When I tried calling CheapOair, first agent said that she will have to ensure the ticket availability and then said she will charge 25 dollars. She said that airline is charging that amount. When I called back after confirming that I can not directly change at airline after 15 min. This time another agent attended and said charge is 50 dollar and the ticket price has gone up by another 100 dollars. When I asked for supervisor, I was asked to wait for very long time almost 30 min. Supervisor was polite. Still I had to pay 75 dollars extra to have the name changed. In between I was given multiple different charges. I got two different change e-mail, one is simple name change with original confirmation and then with re-ticketing confirmation.     When you helped me book my flight I added the assistance package because I had neck surgery and needed the wing aisle seat due to the pressure and movement ability I needed. Nothing was done! My seat was assigned to the back of the plane. I had to request For myself a wing seat aisle. Which was not available.     The absolute WORST customer service I have ever experienced. My mother has booked with these people on several occasions. Once, when she booked a very specific itinerary then received her email confirmation, we saw that the dates were wrong. When we called back to have it corrected, they wanted to charge her more money in fees and difference in flight. We had to escalate, and once it was determined that their man made a mistake, they fully refunded after all the arguing. THAT process was quick, less than a few hours and it was done.

    Most recently, my mother again booked a flight. Now to put things in perspective, she is 66 and being treated for breast cancer and very trusting. She booked her flight, then realized she had a medical appointment the same day as departure. She called about cancelling and agent informed her she would need something from her doctor saying she could not fly that day.

    Cancelled her appt and my mother went on with her day. She then got an email a few days later stating she would need to send a document stating she could not fly that day and for a 12 month period following her booking. She called back and said of course she'd be able to flip within 12 months and if she couldn't get a refund without that, she wanted to keep her flight and rearrange her treatment schedule. They would not allow her to keep her flight anymore and still refused her refund.

    I called at this point, very upset, and spoke to "Alec" out of New Delhi, who called himself a supervisor. He essentially said it's not their decision whether to refund, it's all on United Airlines. They have to rely on United's decision and that could take 30-60 days to find out IF they would or wouldn't refund. He would try to pull the call and get back to me in an hour.

    2 hours later, I called back after not hearing from "Alec" only to be told technical difficulties prevented him from pulling the call. By this time, we'd reached out to United as well, who firmly deny the refund being their decision, saying it's up to CheapOAir to refund or not. Now I got to speak to "Joselyn", also out of New Delhi, who let it slip that "Alec" was only an agent, not supervisor like her, and she had the authority to get things done, unlike "Alec". However, I hear the same song and dance now, documents, etc. I explain, as plainly as possible, that had that document requirement been made clear in the cancellation call, the booking would not have been cancelled. My mother can't afford to risk losing that money altogether.

    She then tells me it would have been literally impossible for the cancellation to be done without disclosing those details, essentially saying we are liars. Then proceeds to go through what she sees as contact history, very aggressively trying to prove they did in fact provide those details. I ask her to pull the call and let me hear it. Technical difficulties again. Now, after telling me she needed proof that it wasn't disclosed before authorizing refund, she says she needs 24 hours to further investigate.

    Fast forward 24 hours, lo and behold, it's verified that agent did NOT disclose the details of the documentation that would be required but now we're back to putting the burden on United. Jocelyn promises that they are working with the "top management of United" but is unable to tell me who they are working with. At this point Jocelyn have argued back and forth for hours between two days. She's repeatedly contradicted herself and her fellow employees, backtracked, misspoken and even told me the refund money would be coming out of the booking agent's paycheck so she needed that proof in case he fought the decision. Are you kidding me now?

    Then, I ask her point blank, "Are you trying to say the full refund for my mother will come directly out of booking agent's check?" Her response? "Yes. Well, a percentage." So he loses his commission is what she means. Now she wants to try to sell me on giving them any documentation we can provide and they'll see what they can do to get Big Bad United Airlines to give my mother her money back. I can already see them making excuses to keep their booking fees, etc.

    Again, we are a week into this and still, even with proof, CheapOAir is still trying to avoid taking any loss even though it's been proven that their people screwed up. I'll be contacting United as well, because if, for once, CheapOAir is not lying, then they need to held accountable for their partner's customer treatment as well. Is $351 and change really worth your reputation and the trust of your clients? No customer service experience has ever disgusted me more.

    Three days ago I tried booking flight on CheapOair from Riyadh, SA to Minneapolis (MSP), MN. Even though the same Air France flights that I selected were still showing on their site, each time after selecting the flight and entering my personal information including all Credit Card details I would get message that says "Oops someone just grabbed the last seat on your selected flight." Then I try booking the next available flight at a higher price and I get the same thing.

    Hours later I tried their site from my home computer and the same flights that I was told were gone were still there. And when I tried booking again the same thing twice again at different prices. This happened two days in a row. I got frustrated and closed out of their site, and my phone rang from their customer service. When I told the guy my experience and asking why those flights are still showing there and what happens to my Credit Card and personal info, all he said was to try their site back in a few hours. Of course I did not. I ended up booking the same flight through Travelocity albeit at $80 more, but at least it was done. I think this is tantamount to fraud, and I will never use or recommend CheapOair to anyone. Furthermore I plan to file a formal complaint with FTC and CFPB about this fraudulent practice.

    I bought the wrong ticket. Called 5 minutes later and attempted to cancel my ticket. They told me there was a cancellation fee of $50 on a $97 ticket? I asked for a supervisor and she told me I could not talk to one. I hung up, called back and was placed on hold. Repeated this 5 times. Then I threatened to call my bank with fraud. They went from a $50 fee to a $10 fee. I asked for a confirmation and they sent me a confirmation that I was getting a $14 refund when my refund was suppose to be $87 not $14. Another email that I received does not clearly state that the full refund is even guaranteed.

    I read other complaints with amounts in the thousands of dollars never refunded from this company. Normally I wouldn't care so much however reading about their track record and seeing that this is a common pattern I believe I will not receive a full refund. Their email explains that this was a "refund request" not an actual refund. They are an overseas company. I believe they are corrupt and manipulate people out of their money by leading them on. They should be investigated and closed. I've purchased and cancelled many flights of different amounts and I find it very strange how they conducted my cancellation along with the other reviews that I have read. Companies like this should not be allowed to operate. THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE CLOSED FOR FRAUD.

    There is no customer service. Only people barely fluent in English who are trained to make excuses for the lack of helping solve a problem. I booked a flight with them, they cancelled it due to weather (I have the emails) but refused to refund the fare. I had to buy another ticket to travel. Then when I tried to board the flight to return home I was told I didn't have a ticket. CheapOair made me pay for a new return flight. A trip that was supposed to cost 448 dollars wound up costing over 1300. I've had several conversations with "customer service" but had NO help getting even a partial refund.

    I purchased 2 tickets from Maui to Bangkok from Cheapoair over the phone for $2,370.00 USD, (Booking # **). I went over the spelling of our names 3 times and the agent on the line read it back to me correctly. I went directly to my computer when I got home and printed out the itinerary and double checked the spelling on both names along with dates and times of travel. All was correct. On the date of travel, we went to the airport, had the Airline Representative print our ticket to Japan (that was where we had a layover) and boarded our plane thinking everything was fine.

    Once in Japan we went to the counter and got our next ticket and showed our passport. The Airline Representative showed us that both of our names were spelled incorrectly. I showed her our itinerary with the correct spelling and she explained that the information that her airlines had received from Cheapoair was spelled incorrectly even though our itinerary was spelled correctly. Thank goodness she let us board the plane and we made it to Bangkok.

    Once in Bangkok I called Cheapoair and explained this all to them. They told me to fax them a letter explaining with my passports. I sent everything they asked for and the next day got a response from Cheapoair. Their response said I should never have flown with misspelled tickets and that they would not correct their mistake nor refund my money (even though they had spelled the names correctly on the itinerary). I am very dissatisfied with this company and will never use them again. This was 100% their fault and they took no responsibility. We were now stuck in Bangkok and had to buy two tickets to get home at the cost of $2,200.00 USD.

    I recently booked a trip with CheapOair via Spirit airlines. Spirit has recently changed their baggage policy where you now have to pay for any bag you bring on their plane. I was never notified that I had to pay extra for my bags until I checking in for my flight on the Spirit website. At that point, I was made aware that I would be paying an additional $45 for each bag, on each leg of my trip. I had 2 bags total which equated to an additional $180 total that I had to pay extra for my individual bags (or an additional $340 for both my boyfriend and I). I only spent $220 on the tickets and would have never booked a flight on Spirit if I was made aware that I had to pay extra for my bags when booking through CheapOair.

    I had tried calling customer service several times, but each time, I was put on a 45+ min wait over the phone. I have also tried reaching out directly to CheapOair via email and I still haven't gotten a response. I used to love booking through CheapOair, but the level of dissatisfaction in customer service is astronomical. I won't be booking through their site again.

    We purchased 3 international tickets from CheapOair that were unusable. The layover time on the flights they had connected was not long enough for the airlines restrictions. In SA you have to collect your bags after the first leg, then recheck them, then go through security and RUN to your gate 30 min before BOARDING time aka 45 min before departure, because they bus you to the plane. Once that bus leaves you are out of luck.

    We were given an hour and a half to do all of this per our ticket. As this was my first time in SA, I had no idea this was the procedure. Even though our flight arrived on time, there was no way to make the next flight. We were forced to buy 3 additional tickets at full rate. If you sell a ticket, the client should be able to use it. CheapOair should know the rules for the airport where they are selling a ticket. Even though I filed claims, they will not stand behind their product. If you are going to use them, make sure you know all the rules and make sure your ticket is valid. As ours were not.

    Well what can't be said bad about CheapOair that hasn't already been said. They are unreasonable, they don't care if they screw you over, they find ways to charge you more and their customer service is some of the worst I have experienced. They are very deceptive in the way they do business with you. I bought two tickets round-trip to Phoenix and I realized there was a typo on one of the passenger's info. So I called the number for any changes that needed made on the booking information. They came up with some reason for a $50 charge for one typo made. All they needed to do was change one letter, but they said it was a $50 charge.

    Then I realized I didn't want to go through them ever again and called to cancel the flight altogether. I called and they said it's $50 per person to cancel the flight and this was within two hours of purchasing the tickets. So my options were cancelling for $100 or have a passengers info edited for $50. I decided to go with the latter, but only after getting the ridiculous fee knocked down to $25.00. Then I look on my confirmation email and they charged me $10 more than they said they would. Enough said. I know that there are a lot of similar experiences with CheapOair and I hope that maybe they will consider changing their ways but that's a lot to ask for coming from a company that charges $50 for one typo. They are willing to screw you over to prevent any financial losses to themselves with no apologies given.

    I will never use the service again. I was sent a confirmation email stating to check the name. It needed a correction to use my wife's maiden name, so I contacted CheapOair within 30 minutes and it was first stated with a heavy accent that it was $50. My wife didn't even understand there was a fee she was agreeing to because of the accent. When I asked about the fee less than 5 minutes later it suddenly changed to $60 dollars. Again this is all within 1 hour of ordering the flight online through the website. I've seen other review responses from CheapOair here that it's free to make changes within 4 hours; this is a false statement. Beware, the company does not honor this and you will be stuck with these fees. It's better to just avoid using this company, since they will not honor what they say they will.

    David, the statement is a free cancellation within 4 hours, changes are not free, because the airline can have a service fee accessed, and there can also be a fare difference. We will check the airline in which you are booked on, because name changes are not allowed once tickets are issued, and the airlines are getting over whelmed with "special" request, therefore they are now charging for that critical change if it's within 24 hours.

    I purchased a ticket today April 14, 2017. This is a ticket that I had been trying to purchase for days as I was trying to find an affordable price. This company offered a one way ticket for a little bit under $300. I was excited when I saw this price because it was pretty decent and I was tired of searching. I began to criticize the information provided, I also asked persons in my household to help me double check, after purchasing the ticket, it showed I would get home the next day as there was a layover. I must say in the advertisement this information was not mentioned at all. The time period for the flight was, matched to the usual time. I called this company to cancel and this guy told me I had to pay can $50.00.

    Let's be realistic about this, how is it even logical for a company to charge $50 to cancel a flight?? I called them immediately after I saw the itinerary. Is this the new way of saying, "We charge for services provided whether or not it benefits you?" These guys are SCAMMERS AND THIEVES!!! It doesn't matter how you put it, if you take something that's not yours without providing goods or services you are a THIEF. I did not give my money to you, you took it. A well established business like this, you guys should be ashamed of your policies. I am asking prospective customers to please triple check information when doing business with this company. If there isn't much to read just forget it, you're only setting up yourself to be robbed.

We confirmed the reservation and issued the ticket, we later had to process a refund.It was her who decided not to go with the reservation, but we have refunded her the fee because she did call within the 24 hours.

    I booked a flight this morning from LAX to Cabo San Lucas. The page said I could cancel within 24 hours. Out of curiosity, I checked American Airlines and found the same return flight and a similar (nonstop) flight outgoing for about $40 less. I immediately called CheapOair to cancel 20 minutes after booking and was told the cancellation was not free and would cost me $50 more than I would be saving. I did not cancel but will not be using CheapOair again for two reasons: they aren't cheap and the information on their web page is misleading.

    I booked 2 tickets from CheapOair online, then I called and extended the dates and got charged $400 more for both (which was fine). Something came up with work and I called to cancel my whole trip. I spoke to someone on the phone. She told me they will charge $500 (CheapOair fees) for both tickets and additionally another $400 airline charges. I was OK with what they were willing take off my ticket because unfortunately my plans changed. I got an email of how much I was getting back and I was like ok.

    I noticed the next day they took $500 off, so I called and asked. They said, "Yes, we take 500 off plus you will be refunded what the amount they stated." When I asked, "How come?" Then they explained that the $400 change of date will not be refunded. I will be refunded on the first original amount. I was furious after the person told me that, because I'm already losing almost $900 and now an additional $400 on top of it, and the person didn't explain none of that when I called and canceled. Now I'm waiting on them to call me back after they investigate the recording. I will never use this site to book anything in the future.

    Last June I booked a flight to Tokyo, there were so many schedule changes that I lost my contact in Japan. I called CheapOair, was told to go to website and cancel my flight, so I did. They also told me reimbursement would be up to Delta. I called Delta, they told me I could get my money back. After almost one year of calling CheapOair and countless hours on hold, Supervisor Zam told me the flight was never cancelled, I was just a no show, and that the ticket was never refundable.

    If they would have told me this from the beginning, I would have never wasted months of my life dealing with these people. Supervisor Zam was able to give me a $452.00 credit towards my next flight, out of the $1600.00 I already paid. This credit, she assured me was without any restrictions, anytime, anywhere, as long as I booked with CheapOair.

    This year, when I tried to book another flight using my credit, after more hours of hold time, I got nothing but excuses, different prices on tickets that were listed on their website. I was told, by a supervisor that I could only use the credit if I was flying to Tokyo! Even though I had an email from supervisor Zam stating no restrictions.... Of course supervisor Zam was not available. Do not book your flight with these people, if anything goes wrong, they do not care about you in the least, all they will do is give you the runaround until you give up.

    All CheapOair customers should take note that Cheapoair has recently changed their flight cancellation policy. As of February 2017 any cancellations made within 24 hours of purchasing a ticket will be charged $50 Domestic and $75 for International. Prior to this Cheapoair did not charge such a fee. I'm fairly certain that no other online travel agency charges such fees. Unfortunately I had to learn the hard way and needless to say will not be using their services again. Hopefully others will not get burned as I did.

    First if I could rate it a zero I would but it requires at least one star. Second let me tell you how they treated my mom this morning. She booked her flight back in February, even called to confirm when her email confirmation said only half was paid for. She was charged the full amount over the phone that day and was led to believe that she had taken care of her round trip flight. This weekend she got to her destination and then yesterday as myself and others are trying to check her in for her flight it keeps saying she needed to discuss this with someone at the airline. She arrives at the airport this morning only to have American Airlines say she isn't on their list. No record of her on the flight.

    She calls CheapOair. They note that she only paid for half the trip. Not true as she confirms with her bank she was charged for all of it, both flights. Back on the phone with cheapoair they blame my mom for their mistake. Is this a joke? They offer to refund her money and book her a flight for today hours later for triple the price. Again is this a joke? My cousin who I am very grateful for dealt with cheapoair for close to 8 hours folks. Yes you heard me right. She went through supervisor upon supervisor trying to just get my mom home as soon as possible. My mom didn't have a problem in paying for her flight (she already did). The problem is she shouldn't have to pay more money for the company's mistake. Suck it up, eat the excess and get my mom home.

    Side note my mom has been booking her flights with cheapoair for the last 7 years. She won't be anymore and neither will me or my family. How dare you treat someone like they are in the wrong. You have no clue what you put my mom through. She already had anxiety about the flight and you made it worse. Now she will be flying into the airport at night (she booked a day flight because she has to then drive an hour and a half to our home). But you didn't know that did you, nor did you care?! If she was your mom you would be outraged as I am.

    You have made a serious mistake in thinking this was no big deal. Shame on you. Shame on your supervisors in acting like nothing was your fault. A simple apology, a new flight as soon as possible without blame and my mom would have been just fine. No you added stress and anxiety to her day. On top of that now you are affecting her paycheck because she will have to be late considering how late she will get home tonight. All because of poor decisions made by your company. A very sad day it is when people can't even admit to their mistakes. Cheapoair thank you for showing me what a customer's value is. I will make sure I don't ever recommend your company.

    I recently bought 3 identical itineraries on Philippine Airlines. I separated them because the airline website would not allow me to book 9 tickets at one time. When booking the 3rd itinerary, Philippine Airlines online would not offer the same flight as the first two, so I went online to look for travel agencies who might offer the same flight. CheapOair offered the proper flight on that airline but charged me $100.00 more for the same flight (with showing a "discount"). When I had to change the flight, the Philippine Airlines charged a $112.00 fee for the change of each of the first 2 itineraries. CheapOair charged $365.00--almost as much as the original ticket. "Cheapo" is a correct name only because of business practice.

You purchased a new ticket, therefore you have to be charged for the new booking, the charges have to match up, and correspond with the new ticket and purchase.     Rita, when you made the original reservation you were charged for the that ticket. When you call back and make a change there usually is a change fee that the airline charges, $200.00. But we can void the transaction so you don't have to pay the 200.00. That means that we now have to make a new reservation for your new dates, and charge your card for that new transaction. We could of just made the change and only the 200.00 would of been added to the cost of your trip, but we saved you that fee. I'm sorry that you felt that we didn't look our for your best interest, but that is the way exchanges are done, and that is across the board for any travel site you use.

CS said this issue would be corrected. I did not see any e-mail confirmation on this issue but I reconfirmed the recent call and started a log with name and extensions. After 7+ calls and several long holds (20+ minutes) with 'accidental' disconnects... I still have not received any resolution. I get lip service and disputing the charge via my AMX instead for a faster solution. It is almost as if you have to endure their long poor customer service for a credit to be applied. Could only call and use credit with 1 airline and needed to be over the phone.     I made a reservation. The next day I got a confirmation stating that it was a flexible reservation and the dates were changed. This is not correct and I took a photo of my reservation on my iPad to prove it. I canceled it because the new dates didn't work, and it cost over $200 to go back to the original dates I had booked.     I booked a flight on line from Timmins to Toronto. When I got to the end of the booking a screen popped up asking if I wanted to change my booking or if I wanted to apply for flexible booking. I wanted neither option but was forced to select one or the other to complete my transaction. I selected the flexible option and the website booked me for Tuesday instead of the Monday flight I wanted so I phoned the "help" desk which was absolutely no help.     It is the most horrible online experience for booking flight tickets I ever had. I tried to pay few times a ticket, either it was already sold, or the price has changed in like 2 sec. When I finally booked it I received the mail my booking was canceled because I didn't give my credit card details, which is not true.     I booked a roundtrip flight to China but was not able to return to the US until I bought an additional one-way ticket back to the states. CheapOair so far has refused to refund the extra cost for the one-way ticket saying it is up to Delta (the primary airline used for the trip). If Delta is responsible, then CheapOair should take that up with Delta. I did nothing wrong so why do I have to pay? CheapOair went so far as to say it was my responsibility because I accepted a booking with Delta. I just don't understand this way of dealing with a customer.

    CheapOair has great prices and seems good to use, but when we went to book, 2x the booking was "no longer available". The third time, we received booking confirmation. 4 days later, the booking was cancelled without explanation. Only message was that payment would be refunded in 7-14 business days. Unless you want to take the risk of spending money that may not get your tickets and will not be available for 2-3 weeks, I don't recommend using them. Too risky.

    I booked a LIAT flight through CheapOair because LIAT's booking site as usual was refusing to conclude my attempted booking with them. So I logged on to CheapOair and the transaction was completed in minutes. On the return leg I decided I wanted to fly a day earlier so got in touch with LIAT who told me as I booked through CheapOair they could not deal directly with me and I would have to make the changes through CheapOair. So I sent CheapOair three emails telling them what I wanted to do, they never to this day responded to me. So I booked directly with LIAT paying for a new ticket and losing my return section of my original ticket because CheapOair simply will not communicate. I will never use CheapOair again because I now believe they are unreliable when you have a problem. What would happen if you had a long-haul flight and required online help, I dare not even think about.

    The first issue I had with them was I was forced to re-book the day of my flight, an additional $195 fee, because online booking allowed a connecting flight that didn't leave sufficient baggage transfer time. I lodged a complaint with CheapOair and they did approve a refund, however it was discovered months later after many followups that the refund was inadvertently issued to another person/card. They're refusing to correct their mistake. I hope one day someone issues me a refund by mistake and never comes after it.

    A ticket was booked for my mom, unfortunately her last name was misspelled. I called CheapOair to fix the name but they said because she several connecting flights, it would not be possible to fix her name correction. The supervisor I spoke to the first time whose name was Davis I believe told me that if they would not allow her to take the flight I can call back to get my refund. So I ended up calling back, got transferred around 3 times, I was stuck on hold for more than an hour and spoke to another supervisor whose name is Jaden. He said that he needs to contact another department and that he'll call me back within 24 hours. I have not received a call back yet. I called again but the representative told me Jaden was not in.

    My mom missed her flight because of the poor customer service they have. This whole process is very frustrating to me and I am tired of dealing with such bad customer service. I would like to speak to the big managers about handling this process at this point! I would not recommend this company to anyone as they have the poorest customer service of all times!

    When I booked I saw the layout of the plane, it clearly had first class starting at seat 1-A and moved to coach after a few rows. I chose seat 1-A and paid the extra fee. A week before my flight I got on American Airlines to check that everything booked correctly, and found that my seat assignment is 8-A, and the layout of the plane shows there is no First Class section that the plane starts with row 8. I called CheapOair and they told me that I had selected seat 8-A and that is what I got. I insisted that I saw a First Class section on the website, and the representative says there is no First Class on this flight, so I must be wrong.

    I do not think I will ever book thru CheapOair again! They did nothing to help me, and would not refund the extra fee I had paid for what I understood to be first class. I have never flown first class and wanted to have that experience, so I'm not some spoiled person who insists on First Class. I feel that they took advantage of me, I feel deceived, and ripped off!

    Booked a flight from LAX to Dubai to Pakistan, return trip for Feb. 7th, returning 11th March -- total round-trip fare approximately under $1100 -- with Emirates Airlines flying from LAX to Dubai and then Fly Dubai to Pakistan and same on the return. On my return journey, I wanted to stop in Dubai for a couple of days, so I called CheapOair around 1st of March and asked if I could do that for a nominal fee. Their response was, "It would cost around $960 to make the change."

    Now remember, my whole trip was under $1100, and they were asking $960 just to change from Pakistan to Dubai. I asked, "What if I bought a ticket on my own to Dubai and continued my flight to LAX from Dubai on the reservation?" They replied no, if I did not stick with my original flight at Pakistan, my booking from Dubai would be canceled as well. Oh, by the way, the flight from Pakistan to Dubai was costing me $250 on my own on the same airline that CheapOair had me booked on. I will not be using CheapOair anymore.

    This is the second time I got pissed off by CheapOair. Few years ago, I wanted to change the date of my ticket, but I have to pay more than the price of my original ticket to do that so I refused. By the time I arrived airport, I found out my ticket was canceled. I swallowed my anger and didn't complain anything. This time, I purchased a ticket online, they called me immediately said the price has changed, it is still 1000+ online, and they told me no they don't have that anymore, only 2000+. So I had to change to another date, which was still higher price than they post online, I bought it anyway. After I made the purchase, I realized that I used the legal name in America, and I should've use the name on my passport. At first they told me I have to pay extra 50 dollars to make the change, I didn't want to do that since they've already charged so much more from me.

    Few days later after I calmed down, I figured maybe I should've just pay the stupid 50 dollars, but they told me they can't change the name, the ticket is not transferable. I told them it's still me, just different name. I even showed them my court document to prove it's the same person. And they insist they won't change the name for me. I remembered this happened to me once years ago, and American Airline changed the name for me for free. I just don't get it how hard is it to change the name on my ticket? I have all the evidence to show I am the SAME PERSON!!! They told me if I want to change the name, I have to cancel my ticket and re-book it. And the ticket is non-refundable. ARE YOU KIDDING? Speechless. CheapOair is so funny!!! I will never use CheapOair again.

    This is my fifth time using CheapOair, unfortunately, this is my last one. When I was trying to book my flight online after I put all my info, it says "do you accept a lower price? Or go back to search for more flights." I accepted and then... nothing. Immediately when I am trying to call a CheapOair agent, they call back because now they have all my info. The agents that call me said that they are trying to help me to find a cheaper ticket but they never give me the price I saw available in the CheapOair site. I will never use or recommend this site, they advertise ticket prices that are not available.

    I changed a flight reservation with 5 minutes of making the reservation. When I called to make a correction they said there would be no fees and I received an email stating there were no cancellation fees. What they did was charge me an additional fee. I then called back and cancelled the entire booking given their behavior and they said they would not cancel the flight unless I agreed to pay a cancellation fee. These people are crooks and very deceptive. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. YOU can get the exact same pricing without the deceptive practices by using Expedia or others who have a clear no fee 24 hour cancellation policy.

    I was taking a connecting flight from SFO to LA to Chengdu. Because of the bad weather in SF, my flight was delayed for more than 2 hours and missed my flight to Chengdu. I asked for a refund; Cheapoair supposedly approved but until now, three months after the trip, no refund was received. The insurance (Trip Mate) I bought when I booked the ticket was likewise USELESS. I had to wait for a long time to talk to a representative every time that I ask for an update, only to be told in the end that the expenses incurred (that is, the new tickets I have to buy because I missed the flight in LA) are not covered by the insurance. It also does not follow their 15-day policy. So, no more.

    We were planning to book tickets for vacation and from 3 days I was tracking the prices. I finally decided upon a ticket and called the customer service. Customer service representative mentioned prices are not correct on the website. So, planned on booking my ticket online and got the following message saying the price of the ticket is 600 dollars more than what I selected. Few days after I was called from CheapOair and informed me they wanted to verify my identity, and connected me with my bank.     After finding the flight deal on Kayak, I had to go through CheapOair to book the actual tickets. I had used the service in January and had had to validate my credit card information with the bank to prevent fraud. It was apparently a one time thing. So I went ahead and booked the tickets only to receive an email telling me that they couldn't reach me at my phone number and that I needed to call the company to validate credit card information for my security. I'm currently in Vietnam on holidays and don't have access to my usual phone number. I sent a few emails explaining the situation but kept getting an email stating I HAD to call.

    Finally managed to get a SIM card and call only to find out that they had called the bank and some of the information wasn't correct. They asked me to call the bank and allow the payment. I called the bank and everything was fine on their end. So I call back CheapOair only to be put through the same gong show I had previously experienced.

    Finally, I had to do a three-way call with my bank to validate private information while a CheapOair attendant was listening in...all that for my security. Not only was everything fine with the information I had provided to CheapOair and the one at the bank but all the attempts by CheapOair had blocked my credit card. So I was in Vietnam with a blocked credit card because CheapOair couldn't get their ** together trying to "protect" me. It's ok to care for security but come on, this is beyond ridiculous. I've booked with Kiwi.com, eDreams, Travelocity, Expedia and nothing is as hard as booking with CheapOair. The prices are great but the back end is terrible.

    In August last year I booked and paid for 4 tickets Sydney to Alice Springs return. The group was my husband and I and a friend from work and her partner. I paid for their tickets as they were going to show us around the Outback. We had to end up cancelling the flights as my Dad wasn't in the best of health at the time. I lost $200 for the cancellation fee and was told that I had $2065 Qantas credit to use by August 2017.

    I have tried on numerous occasions to book something using the $2065 credit. The first time I tried to use the credit I wanted to book flights for my husband and I to the Cook Islands (for my 50th birthday) but was told no they had to be domestic flights. Fair enough. Then I inquired about going to QLD which would have left some money but was told I could only use the credit on one booking. So I looked and decided the best way to use the whole of the $2065 was to go to Western Australia.

    I went to try and book those tickets and was then told I could not use the whole of the $2065 as 2 of the tickets were in other people's names - even though they had not paid for them and I had. They can't use the tickets anyway so guess what? CheapOair gets to keep the $1030 credit that I paid for. So I went to try and book for my husband and I to go to Qld, and have been told that I will have to pay 2 x $88 new booking fees, plus approx another $180 in fees and charges. I asked them to justify the fees and charges and they said they were taxes. I said "well the fares on your site to fly return was $x and you are telling me now that I have to pay nearly $300 extra on top of that."

    I was advised that as I was rebooking after cancelling I wasn't entitled to the prices that they advertise online as those prices are just for new bookings only. Well what was I? I was making a new booking. They take forever if you deal with them online - I think they have 2 or 3 inquiries on the go at once or their grasp of English is very poor. I am already more than $2000 out of pocket. It's my money that I paid. I should be entitled to go on a holiday without having to pay more money. If this doesn't get resolved without me having to put my hand in my pocket again I will never ever book through them and I will make sure that every person I know never books with them either.

    I bought a ticket for 3 adult and a baby to Costa Rica. The price of the ticket was included the tax and fee. When I get the credit card bill I was surprised to see that they charge me tax and fee on top of the ticket prices. When I called they say WHY I didn't say anything when I bought the tickets. They asked if I want to cancel. When I say yes they told me that I have to still pay the airline fee so I am losing if I cancel or not. So if you buy tickets from CheapOair, be careful of hidden prices that you not ready for.

In January you booked 4 tickets including an infant, you were given a total cost of $949.00 for tickets including taxes and fees, we have your electronic signature agreeing to the total. You were also given a alert on the payment page that you will be billed in 2 separate transactions, not sure if you saw that or remember that. But we charged you for the air ticket in one charge, and the taxes and fees in a separate where both totaled the amount of $949.00. You added travel insurance for $51.00 total $1000.00 so when adding up the 2 charges you saw they equal the agreed upon purchase price. You also added a car rental,. that has it's own separate charges. But we consider this resolved, as there are not hidden fees, you were advised two separate charges, and everything you agreed to pay, is exactly what was charged.

    I purchased my ticket on Feb 28th 2017, but I didn't get the traveler insurance. So I called the next day and asked if I could purchase it at a later date and was told yes but make sure I purchased it at least 10 days before my travel date of May 2nd 2017. I called back today twice to purchase the insurance and was told by one of the reps that insurance wasn't available for my route, and then told by the second rep that I had to purchase it within 14 working days of my ticket purchase. So now I have been told 3 different things by 3 different people and I still don't have travel insurance. Not to mention I was referred to CheapOair by my friend.     Was sold ticket on overbooked flight. Was seated on plane then taken off, put on later flight which caused my pickup to wait four extra hours then drove in the dark. I was in a wheelchair, brought to wrong gate and I pushed chair to correct gate and made my original flight in plenty of time (5410) gate 23. I sat on plane buckled up and agent told me I needed to get off plane. My ticket was paid for and I did nothing wrong. Then I was brought to another plane on a floor with no bathroom or access to food. The aid who brought me to new flight was told to go to gate 30 & no one there then was brought to customer service where I was told I should of received promised check at gate 23. They sent me back to gate 30, but first got food, then went to gate 30, received check then back down to ground floor where no bathrooms and was wheeled put to bus to get off and taken up ramp of second plane.

    I am diabetic and have leg/knee problems that cause extreme pain sitting in one position too long. Therefore I book direct flights and always on time. I have flown many times this past year and half with 5 of those times awful. This last time was one of the worst experiences. And the attendants who wheel handicap persons should not put their hand out for a tip. The first attendant did and was rude. I gave her no tip. There has been times I have sat in airport for 7 hrs on the floor with no bathroom or food and paid out tips totaling $35. I am worried about booking the next three tickets for my family to visit in April because of this past experience.

    We have booked a trip to Dublin from Manchester for 12. We both booked at the same time as we could only do 6 at once through separate payment methods. I managed to check the first 6 in through Ryanair no problem but when I tried to check the second group of 6 through CheapOair and I could only check us in for the return journey. Contacted Ryanair and no sight of us whatsoever as it hadn't been done by CheapOair. I have had no email, phone call or anything to alert me that this hadn't been booked. The only information I have had is the confirmation when I initially booked it in good time in November which included both ways.

    Now the flights have gone up CheapOair are trying to do anything but get me on this flight as the price has gone up by some way and are trying to push that cost my way. They also thought because they hadn't taken the money it would be ok. I WANT THE FLIGHT I BOOKED AT THE PRICE QUOTED IN GOOD TIME AND FAITH. This is not my fault and DO not understand how your business model works if you can book a flight with you but can't actually rely that it's booked. You offered, have alternative flights, but they are no good. WE ARE GOING AS A GROUP! With transport already booked to the same airport at the same time...CheapOair really made me feel like it was my fault and really need a resolve ASAP because if this doesn't work I will pursue for cost incurred.

Only the return flight with Ryan air was confirmed. You did tell us Mar 19 not to worry about confirming the flight for you on the outbound, therefore we didn't and we returned our service fee. At that point you advised this was okay, and you would take care of rebooking the unconfirmed segment. We are very sorry for the inconvenience, and wish it could of been handled in Nov. when we first learned they could not confirm.

    I was suppose to go to the Philippines yesterday, but I never received my tickets. When I called I got someone I had a hard time understanding and I think the same went for him. But for I could understand they was suppose to send the tickets to me 3 times but on my aol account which I use. I check it everyday and I also check my spam folder just in case there is something in there that doesn't belong. We also sent a agent survey in October which you opened and read, then adding of meals in Dec. we also sent another email, all in which would have your existing reservation for departing on March 16, You called march 17 and now the flight has past and you are now considered a no show. We can request a waiver from the airline to allow the ticket to be re-opened so that you can at least use the credit, but you will have the airline change fee, and airfare difference.     I booked two flights in succession through CheapOair and I was under the impression the first one was cancelled. They claim on their website if you cancel within four hours there is no cancellation fee. I called within four hours and due to a misunderstanding and unbeknownst to me it was not cancelled. I then had to cancel the second flight due to change of plans and knowing there would be a fee (it was a whooping $400). After two weeks the first flight I booked had still not been refunded like they said it would be (within 7-14 days). I contacted them and found out it had not been cancelled. That is $800 out of my pocket for a flight I never took. They never refunded all of my money like they said they would if you cancel "within four hours."

    I would not recommend CheapOair to anyone; they don't care about keeping their customers. When I called about my refund, they transferred me to four different agents, constantly spoke over me and would not let me finish my sentence. They were not helpful at all nor were they polite. They then told my husband they would call within 48 hours and did not. They ultimately stole my money, stay away.

    I booked 2 Air Asia tickets with Cheapoair early January 2017, upon arrival at the airport check in counter I was advised that the airline had not been paid by Cheapoair and subsequently my tickets were not available leaving me no option other than to book and REPAY at the check in gate. Despite many emails back and forth to Cheapoair and their assurance that they were following my issue up with the airline I am as of today (4 Months later) still awaiting the refund of my original payment due to the non supply by Cheapoair. PARTICULARLY bad business practice.

    Mr. Gardiner, after reviewing your reservation, the payment was indeed made to the airline on Jan. 1. that is when your reservation was made, and tickets issued. travel wasn't until Jan. 4 allowing plenty of time for the airline to have received your payment of $130.00 for 2 tickets. In the meantime, we requested you to send us the receipt for the tickets you purchased at the counter, but unfortunately you didn't save them! the airline request we have submitted required a receipt and your explanation as to why you purchased new tickets, and the proof, however, you advised us to contact the airline for them. This has been ongoing for months due to the fact we don't have the necessary paper trail, and Indonesia airlines has not authorized a refund as of yet. We have been staying in contact with you, and will continue to update you as we receive more information.

    I purchased tickets for my kids and I and my total came out to $1,132.20. I looked on my bank account statement and I was charged two times for my flights. When I called to ask why there was two charges the representative was so rude. He acted like it was my fault. He said, "The damage was done and that's life". I asked when I would be refunded and he said 7-14 days but I do not have the luxury of waiting that long because I have other bills and items I need to pay. I have the call recorded and would like to share with CheapOair's supervisor or manager.

These four charges are the original ticket's before the changes were made, these charges have also been canceled as we reissued the ticket's and you will see four refunds of $283.05 from United with in 7-14 business days.     Those people show you flights that are canceled as perfectly normal. Then when the customer misleadingly buys a ticket, they refuse to do a refund without any penalty. So essentially, they make their CUSTOMERS PAY FOR THEIR MISTAKES. What a bunch of crooked thieves! I was booking 2 separate flights. I looked in CheapOair's system and found: Flight 1: Calgary to London Gatwick. Departing on May 8th and arriving in London Gatwick at 10:35 am on May 9th. Flight 2: London Luton to Sofia, Bulgaria. Departing London at 8:20 pm (evening) and arriving in Sofia at 1:05 am on May 10.

    I clicked "Select" on both flights to ensure that the flights are available. Everything appeared to be fine. I proceeded to fill out my info for Flight 1. All was good. I purchased the flight. Done deal. Then I moved on to Flight 2. Once again, I filled out everything and hit "Reserve". But then the system gave me an error, which was not about a filled flight. I phoned CheapOair and even they were seeing this flight as normal. So they tried to book me on it from their end - without success. So I asked to get a refund on my first flight, as there were no other night flights from London to Sofia in the price range that I was after. All options were in the hundreds-of-dollars price range, whereas my original flight was only 66 dollars. I got transferred to some other department, where they argued with me for 15 minutes that they must charge me 50 dollars for the cancellation.

    Eventually they said they'll bring it down to $25. So I agreed because I was tired of arguing with those thieves. At the end of the day, they charged me $25 because I was canceling a flight 30 minutes after purchasing it, due to THEIR OWN mistake. Absolutely horrible service. I will make sure to NEVER EVER again buy from CheapOair and I will tell this to all my friends, relatives and I will post this experience in all flying forums available. PS: The reason I could only flight in the evening was because I wouldn't have enough transfer time from London Gatwick to London Luton or any other airport. You screwed up BIG time, CheapOair! BIG TIME!

    I have booked a flight with a protection plan. I needed to cancel the flight ticket which they cancelled for me but they never refunded the money and every time I speak to someone they say they will call back and they never did. I have called the customer service several times and no help. It's been over a month and more than 10 calls. And I have been getting the run around between CheapOair, the airline company, and the insurance company. I don't understand why is it so complicated if I have insurance. It's such a hassle to get anything handle.

    We first booked our trip in January (It's scheduled for May this year). Since then (It's now March), we have needed to make several additions and changes. CheapOair agents have been helpful, friendly, and understanding throughout. There have only been nominal fees in some cases, none in others. If the airlines were this customer-friendly, traveling would be very different. We would not hesitate to use CheapOair for future trips. In fact, we would recommend CheapOair for anyone!
