Well to be TRUTHFUL, it's PATHETIC that I made a reservation and quickly realize that I had one day wrong. Call right away to change only one day and had to pay extra for this change. Will I recommend this site to friends? ABSOLUTELY NOT.

On Friday evening, 12 Oct 2018, I made a reservation for a round-trip flight from IAD to Roswell, NM (ROW). The courtesy and competence of the agent with whom I dealt (Samara) was outstanding. I have booked with CheapOair before, and will do so again.

CheapOair is easy to use and I always check all the different sites and end up buying here cause it always finds the best deals. I was having trouble with my internet so I just called to book a ticket and the person was so friendly and easy to understand. He offered me the best deal and didn't try to get me to buy any extra junk. I believe his name was Noel. Great job!

When booking a flight for my wife and I I accidentally entered one incorrect name. Instead of having me cancel the flight and re-book I was convinced to pay $30.00 to change the name, additionally I was convinced the pay another $29.00 to guarantee our seats. The worst part was I had to spend almost an hour on the phone and to top it all off CheapOair charged me twice for our tickets ($1,111.90) and I need to wait 3-5 days to get my money returned to me that should never have been charged in the first place. On top of all this is the language barrier, your support team try but it is not that great and sometimes frustrating for both sides.

Don't believe any of the other reviews on this page. The tickets might seem cheap, but they make their money somewhere else. They charged me the same amount I paid for a plane ticket to add a middle name to the ticket! They charged ridiculous amount of money to cancel a plane ticket, so I got back less than a third of what I originally paid. Please, just do yourself a favor, and avoid this hazel, book with some other company. This has been the worst experience of my life booking a plane ticket.

The person that took my reservation was very professional and efficient. I think your website should be improved. I could not book online and the flights he booked me on was not shown on your website. We booked a round trip to London a few weeks ago and again we had to call. Flights were not shown.

I used them several years now but now no more! They have these thieving policies of canceling your whole flight if you miss one leg!!! Think about that... I intend to go after them for this. Cost me $600!!!

Please never buy insurance for your flight. They send you to make a claim online and ask lots of questions, even asking for medical paperwork to prove your cancelation. I had to cancel my flight due to a close family emergency. DON'T BUY. TRAVEL INSURANCE IS A WASTE OF MONEY!

So far my experienced has been a good one. I am a little concerned about the changes and if they will stop so that I can count on the flight. I have a connection flight before and after to consider and my concern is that the flight times will change and I will not be able to catch one flight or another due to changes. So far the changes have not affected the connecting fights from and to LAX. Personnel have been very nice to date and I have not experienced any real problems and I thank you for that.

After a horrible experience with CheapOair, we have decided to try to use them again. Undeniable - they are super high-tech, and seem to have access to deals that no one else does. Their system is a bit elusive - you can book things online, but sometimes when you call, they can offer you even better deals (with arrangements not yet listed). The system of redeeming reward points is a bit convoluted, and points cannot be used for all areas of travel (e.g. rental cars). That said, our latest booking went really smoothly, communications are instantaneous and clear, and we are hoping this will be a really good trip experience to cancel out the prior one.

The agent who entertain me was very helpful. I dont know much about computer and booking. He was able to guide me Patiently and giving me some good advises regarding finding better deal and offered some incentives and bonuses due to me as I am a frequent flyer plus the fact that I am Señor citizen with some privileges and gladly offered them to me.

Cannot afford to lose $390+ through no fault of my own. The first person I spoke to charged me too much and another person adjusted it. Then when I was told I could add a seat to my reservation. I found out I had to pay for the seats going and coming back. Finally spoke to a woman who gave me $20.00 credit on the booking. But I still lost $371.00 because I could not pay any more money therefore, could not take the flight.

Never again!! The service here sucks as bad as United Airlines and needs to be changed. Trying to get a flight departure extended a couple weeks due to a family emergency and these people offer a $200 change fee and next to no service!! We will never use either of these rip offs again!!

Never again. Got tickets for wife on a return trip from Detroit. Made them for the 9th. Day before she had to leave, looked at the tickets they were for the 16h. Charged me another 250 to change them, then sent tickets with the same date the 16th. I believe they did this on purpose. Call them back, they changed the date. But everything else was the same e ticket number, flight number just changed the date. Definitely a scam. Beware of these people. Never use these people again. Should be crapo air.

The gentleman that helped me was methodical and helped me book my tickets, gave me some options that would make my flight days not so long and also showed me that booking my seats was a best option. A total fraud. Took $1600 for a ticket which I never flew on. Went back and forth with them for a year. They promised to refund my credit card and each time I called they just gave me the go around, either it was not the right department or the agent responsible for my issue was not available. They are a complete fraud. Be very careful and keep close eyes on the charges on your credit card when it comes to CheapOair. Never in my life again will I book a ticket with this pathetic scamming company.

I booked a round trip ticket to Barcelona. They charged me immediately close to $900. I called to change credit card. They said it’s not possible. So I asked for it to be canceled. Even though I was within 24 hours (1 hour after reservation), they said there’s a fee of $25. Then if I wait longer it goes up to $75! So I canceled and paid the fee. Now I’m finding the refund comes in 5 different pieces/amount for each component of the reservation ie. ticket itself, seating fee, insurance, their fee, etc. and it can take up to 3 weeks!!! Very old fashion system. Polite reservation agent based in India. But will never use them again. There are much better companies to use with similar prices.

I was booking a round trip flight from Chicago to Honduras and somewhere along the way I selected the wrong return flight. Of course, I did not realize this until after I booked the trip. I called CheapOAir and their representative, Pete, was able to correct my issue with no issues or delays. Pete also accomplished this in a courteous and professional manner. I will highly recommend CheapOAir to anyone who needs to make travel arrangements.

I booked through CheapOair, the condo and flight. They sold me insurance for the flight. We were guaranteed priority first while boarding. This is the reason why I bought this for 3 adults. We were the 6th group to board, both flying to our destination and returning. The condo was not as described, to add to this. We could only stay there 1 night, no wifi, TV, tub with jets was broken, very dirty, coffee pot didn't work and neither did the hair dryer. Thank goodness another condo down the road put us up for the week. I reported this five times.
The CheapOair people refuse to take any responsibility. I realize they are halfway across the world, but my contract was with them. They want me to phone up the flight insurance co. and the condo owners to speak to them. When they give me the phone numbers to do so, these numbers do not exist or they are completely different companies. This company refuses to claim any liability. I only want what I was told and what was advertised. STAY AWAY FROM CHEAPO!

I had a very pleasant experience dealing with the agent over the phone. He was very helpful and polite. This is my first trip to Australia and the agent answered all my questions. I would recommend them to family and friends, and I will use them for any other trips that I plan in the future.

Forgive me, clearly I am still livid. Please be warned, ours was probably the worst case scenario but it happened. It was ridiculous at best and blatantly criminal. My niece and brother-in-law were left stranded in Europe after missing a connecting flight. At no point did CheapOair mention their ENTIRE remaining reservations would be cancelled and NOT refunded if this happened. British Airways refused to work with us because we used a third party and CheapOair washed their hands stating they cannot do anything because British Airways would not change their minds.
What a crock! My family ended up having to buy 2 new full priced fares!! A once in a lifetime trip for a father trying to make memories with his only daughter is completely ruined. A 10 day trip was spent stressing out over how they were going to get home, trying to work out SOME kind of arrangement with CheapOair and British Airways. I spent 4 days of consistently remaining on hold while both companies tried to track down their "supervisors". All calls went to call centers in other countries where the reps, while courteous, clearly presented with an air of "I really don't give a damn, lady" and they all had no authority to make any changes in the best interest of their customers.
Please do not use either of these companies. They will rob you of your money and brush you off when you request, plead, demand that they simply HONOR THE SERVICE YOU ALREADY PAID FOR. You will end up having to pay them more money. I still do not understand how a company feels entitled to keep over $2,ooo simply because after travelling from Chicago to London you missed a connecting flight to Rome after being provided wrong information from one of their airport's representatives!
I understand having to pay a fee for securing a new connecting flight. I might even understand cancelling all the flights since the passenger is MIA. In our case, they were 17 mins late. They were at the counter. They explained what happened. The counter could not care less, wanted 1000 pounds per person and refused to reinstate the flight home. Absolute crooks. Never again.

When you pay you don't see what you are paying for. Once paid you find... they sold you tickets for the long dates. Correcting the dates immediately brought my tickets to over $300 more. When I said I see online cheaper tickets on their site! They said they had been sold out, the system is taking time to update the info. So, they make you pay extra. Try cancelling it! I was transferred five times back and forth to the same person. You better have some two hours to stay on hold. They credited my account to recharge it the following day. It seemed it was to go past the 24 hours, so they could charge me $611 of their cancellation fee + West Jet cancellation fee policy! So they told me. Different people cancel than those who sell the tickets and that alone should tell you that the company wants to make people give up before they get to the right cancelling team. Keep out if you can help.

I spent a lot of time trying to book an international flight. After selecting the flight and entering all my info, credit card, etc. when I hit BOOK, it came back saying that "Your ticket priced increased to..." which was double the initial price. I did not accept the new price; however, in seconds I get a call from CheapOair trying to "help" me book a flight. I asked about the site and the obvious scheme of attracting customers with lower fares and then the site "not working". I was told a crazy story blaming the airlines... etc. Bad business. Never shop CheapOair.

I have booked my trip to Hawaii for 4 through CheapOair. Later that day I realized It was booked with the wrong dates. I called them right away to change the reservation. The rep said it would cost me $450 more per ticket if I change the date and I was like wow. That's a big difference! While I had her on the phone I went on the website and tried to rebook the trip myself and it's only $140 more per ticket. I asked why she is charging me more. She advise that's the best she can do. I said, "Well in that case cancel the reservation with the incorrect date and I will rebook it." She said if I do that she will have to charge me a cancellation fee of 50/person.
Mind you I called back within 10 hours of the initial booking!!! I told her it is not right as we have a 24-hour window to cancel with no charge. She said that's the airline rules not their rules. CHEAPOAIR WILL CHARGE YOU REGARDLESS! I price it out with the airline directly and they came up to be about 50 dollars cheaper compare to CheapOair but what do I do. I book it with CheapOair even it wasn't cheaper just because I would think they would waive that cancellation fee. But I called back and they say unfortunately I still got to pay the fee. After an hour going back and forth they refunded me 100 out of 200. When I look at my credit card statement the charges breakdown was airline tickets charged by the airline and a separate charge of 250 from CheapOair for agency fees. CHEAPOAIR ISNT CHEAP. STAY AWAY!

Even though accent barrier is apparent it did not hamper the transactions because of courteous enhancement to satisfy customers.

I've used CheapOair over 4 yrs and it's generally good, except during this July 2018 when they charged my VISA for an extra $15.95 for seat assignment, without even telling me about it. I called them and they said that they would refund it. Two months later, I still haven't seen the refund.

I spoke with 2 different people within a 12 hour period. Both online. Both had no clue how to communicate and get my issue resolved. Last night I was on the phone until midnight with this rep that continuously went around my issue and tried to up-sell me. I was so upset that I was ready to cancel my flight and pay more with Delta. I never got the email with confirmation of my issue fixed so I messaged again this morning and took me almost an hour to get 2 simple questions answered - and then again with the up-sell. And you know what, I probably would of taken the offer, but he seriously tried to up-sell me before addressing or even reassuring me he would fix my issue. I have heard a lot of negative reviews, but I couldn't beat the price. BUT, never again will I purchase from this site. It's not worth the hassle. And it would be nice if you actually put more than just the good reviews on your site. Pathetic.

When I called them they quoted a higher price for the flights than it was indicated on their own website. They came down, and assured me it was the cheapest price possible. When I got off the phone I checked Flight Hub, their price was $45 lower for comparable flights, in fact the return flight was at least 5 hours shorter. They won't do a price match because the flights are not identical, even if better and no refund. Whatever you do, don't call them, just get the best price on the internet.

I was told by customer service that these charges would not be posted to my account which was not the case. CheapOair said they could not help me reverse the charges because they had no confirmation #. THAT IS BECAUSE I DID NOT AUTHORIZE THEM. American Airlines has no record of any booking under my name. I WILL RECOMMEND TO ALL SEARCHING FOR AIR TRAVEL, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I will relay my experience to the Better Business Bureau.

If you plan to change your ticket date never ever buy an airplane ticket from this website. They don’t provide exact information if you buy a ticket that is not refundable and not changeable. When I call to change my date they are saying that the ticket belongs to another party and that party has her own policy usually non negotiable and no changes and refunds are allowed. You can never see this information on your card and they put everything in their terms and conditions that’s is impossible to find out. In that way you are stuck, you need to pay for a new ticket of course. As a consumer you have right so they are not working by the law and they don’t care for their customers at all. Even the manager was so rude to me…
I will press charge them for sure. They answer was, "You pay less for your ticket so deal with that…" and I don’t understand how 1000$ is less, when sometimes I bought ticket for 600$ and I don’t have any problem changing the date to travel from US to Europe. They end up saying that United Airlines has this policy and they own this ticket. So you are buying ticket that has a lot of owners and agency that you need to resolve who to call. I’m calling United Airlines and they are saying that CheapOair is fault that didn’t provide a clear information about the ticket you are purchasing. So my warm recommendation read carefully every corner and terms and avoid buying ticket from this website.

I ended up paying A LOT for a ticket with 4 different airlines and a confusing itinerary and had to cancel as I had emergency surgery with a medical note FORBIDDING me from flying or I would go blind and they were unable to get refunds from the airlines. I asked to see the letters they wrote and I have not heard back from them.

That's right! You just spent hours on our site and frontiers trying to figure out the tickets and luggage situation. Booked flight. 5 minutes later CheapOair calls to confirm. “Mam to sit by you 2 children you'll need to pay us an additional $115... oh and we forgot to mention that it's an additional $38 per person per flight for a carry on...” what! That's insane. I am told, “Mam you can cancel within the first 24hrs.” I'm thinking it is free since I just cancelled. I was at work had to call them back a few hours later. Nope $150 to cancel or an additional almost $400 to sit with my kids and have a carry on. Frontier sucks and CheapOair sucks. Very disappointed.

When I booked our flight on Oct. 1 everything went fine but later we found the middle names should have been used on the tickets so I called to correct it and this person lied to us about a $29 fee to have our seats side by side. He said he would send a new itinerary within 4 hrs with the changes. That was at 8:30 pm. We did not receive any confirmation so I called back the next day. The first woman that I talked to wiped out my wife's ticket and had 3 of them entered under my name. So they put me over to customer service and we hopefully have what we need for our trip. It should not have taken 8 phone calls and 3hrs waiting on the phone for people to talk to you.

There was an error in booking a flight I had made for my daughter and her boyfriend from Kalispell Montana to Minneapolis Minnesota. When I booked online I inadvertently booked a flight that had a 19 hour layover in Salt Lake City which would not work for our family event. I called the number for assistance and the operator was extremely helpful efficient and knowledgeable. He rebooked our flight and got us a better return flight as well. Only concern is that I have not seen the new flight confirmation via email. Great service!

I recently booked with CheapOair for tickets, travel insurance etc to the Philippines. I made a couple of mistakes on the booking and had to contact Cheapoair to have them corrected. Although I had to pay for the correction, (after all, it was my mistake!) the team were absolutely helpful, polite, extremely efficient and accommodating... Nothing was too much of a problem to them and a speedy, informed efficient service was received by myself. Many thanks Cheapoair team! And I will certainly be using you again in the future!!

I traveled to Texas on an emergency basis to help my son recover from a serious illness. I booked my return flight through CheapOair on September 25th, but he needed me to stay longer. I tried to call the customer service number several times to change my reservation, but the call wouldn’t go through. I ended up reaching a customer service agent via chat and changed the flight to October 1 at the cost of an additional $75. I received an email to confirm my changes, authorized the additional payment, and then received a CONFIRMATION email saying my flight had been changed.
I contacted customer service again Yesterday Sept 29th to change the flight again as I was still needed in Texas. I tried the chat option again and was twice disconnected. Then I tried to call and this time reached an agent. She told me the change had never been made and my flight had passed. There was another contact number so I tried that one. That agent also told me that the change had never been made, my flight had passed, and that I had no flight to change. I asked to speak with a manager who reiterated this message. He told me they had tried to call me and sent me an email saying that because I had used PayPal they weren’t able to confirm my credit card so my CONFIRMED change had not been made. No voice messages had been left, and the additional email they sent included only a generic message and transcription of my chat.
The message was emailed at 11:13 am, only 4 hours before the plane I was originally booked on boarded. It did show that after I said thank you and left the chat at 8:06 am the agent had resumed the conversation at 8:25 am saying my credit card payment didn’t go through. This was after the flight authorization and confirmation emails.
With no additional contact from the agent, I had left the conversation after about 10 minutes of silence. I am now being told I disconnected the chat so I was at fault. 19 minutes had passed with no conversation! The manager told me they had done their due diligence by sending an email and trying to call. They called the airline and confirmed I had a reservation for the flight on the 25th, and had missed it, thus I was at fault and lost $289. If PayPal is a payment option, the agent should have noticed that I had used PayPal prior to sending a confirmation and I would have provided my credit card number. I saw from other reviews around the same time I was trying to change my flight, that apparently others had experienced similar issues. If CheapOair was having technical issues, it shouldn’t cost the customer.

I tried to cancel a flight with the company and they gave me the wrong information on the cancellation policy for the airlines the flight was booked on. The mistake cost me more than $1,000. The company told me that if I canceled my ticket I could only use the credit to the same country as the original ticket, which is ridiculous. I understand the change fee but not limiting where I can go. I would not recommend this company at all. The manager was just as incompetent as the sales rep. They never told me any of this when I booked my ticket with them.

I recently booked flights through this company, and, immediately after booking, noticed I had made a slight typo in one of the passenger's names (I inserted one extra letter in the middle of the first name, typing "Linsdsey" instead of "Lindsey". I called CheapOair and asked if they could correct this for me. They told me it would be $50 to correct the typo. When I told them that seemed excessive, they said that was my only option. Very frustrating. I told them I wasn't willing to pay that, and I called JetBlue instead. They were much more understanding, and told me that the slight typo wouldn't be a big deal. They told me to arrive at the airport slightly earlier than usual just in case I am questioned about the error. I am appalled that CheapOair was so unwilling to help, and that they would charge such excessive fees for a simple minor error.

Along with this issue oddly enough our credit card that we used for this site was hacked!! I am so disappointed that they have been able to continue to work this way. After looking online for flights to Seattle Washington we logged into CheapOair's website. After spending nearly an hour on the phone with the first agent he said that "as we spoke fares were going up" and that they were have technical difficulties, and he would call back in two hours to give us the best price available. After two hours I called back and got a different agent. After 1hr 49min, again I was told that the fares were rising and it was best to lock-in the tickets as we spoke. Unable to book flights. System wouldn't take my card after associate enter my card too many times. So it blocked me... I called my institution. The problem wasn't on my end. This attempt went on since 9am up until 7 when a caring representative was willing to help me. I spoke to 6 different reps...my originally reservation they charged me for something I never asked for. So many attempts to charge my card. It by far was the most upsetting experiences...and each time I found a cheaper flight I missed the opportunity. It was a long conversation from morning 8 am in the morning to 2:30 pm with the agent and supervisor too for booking cancellation. Agent told me to refund the amount but he wants to charge cancellation fees which is $50 after knowing that the ticket was non refundable ticket. After committed they wont give us the refund.

Our trip to Africa in June was wonderful. The nightmare dealing with CheapOair was not. Our original departure was cancelled and we re-booked the next open departure. Not only was our ticket not flexible (cost $74.85), CheapOair charged us $1,522.35 stating Emirates Air penalty and another $750.00 for their penalty... total of $2,272.35 in penalties! When I contacted Emirates Air they denied any fee to change our dates. To add insult to injury the insurance plan purchased through CheapOair cost $2,397.00 and TripMate's cancel for any reason insurance does not cover cancelled departures. WOW! I would not advise purchasing any travel through CheapOair.
UPDATE ON 10/16/2018: CheapOair has returned $750.00 of the exorbitant fee they charged and then disputed my statements which are indeed FACTS! I have ALL PAPERWORK AND CORRESPONDENCES FROM THEM. I appreciate the return of the $750.00, but it COST ME that much time and VERBAL ABUSE from this company to obtain partial credit. They state the other fees are from elsewhere and not refundable.

I am glad I did check with them because I was not booked for the flight and had to be booked on a different flight. I purchased this ticket for a friend and I could not be happier. I've flown a lot in my life and this experience with CheapOair was as good as it gets. The price was the best available and I compared it to my AA miles offer as well as other airline offers. I had to change the flight after the initial purchase and that's what made me a committed user of CheapOair. It cost $38 to change from one week to the next and the process was as easy as could be. I am really impressed and I'm not easily impressed. I used to be an Air Force pilot and I've flown enough commercially to know excellent service and this is definitely it!

Unlike all other websites, you cannot get a full refund for any tickets purchased through CheapOair. They are "cheapo" for a reason. After having accidentally booked 2 tickets on their website, I called their customer support within 15 minutes to cancel the reservation. That was when I discovered the customer service rep will charge me $50 PER PERSON to cancel the reservation. This was later reduced to $30 as a "one time exception". Needless to say, I feel cheated and was forced to keep the reservation since the cancellation fee was 30% of the ticket price.

I was overcharged on the changing of day for my tickets. I ended up paying about 1500 on changing my 2 tickets from Wednesday to Tuesday. This is ridiculous and a big rip off when I could have just called the airline directly. They would have only charged me 200 in total. Trying to cancel flight due to medical illness. Was placed on hold two different times and it was not clear why. The first time I waited over 5 minutes and hung up. Today, again I told the agent what happened to me and again I was placed on hold and finally hung up again. I then sent an email on their link for comments, at that point I got a call from Ukraine and the agent said he had sent to email cancellation. I explained that this was very bad customer service. Felt like it was really easy to book it, cheap, and then when unable to fly- trying to cancel was difficult. I will not recommend or use them again.

My flight was canceled and I tried to call CheapOair to reschedule for another flight to replace the canceled flight that's not at fault of the consumers. Every single time I've called them and able to reach a human voice, they kept on pushing the responsibility to another department (Canadian or US department???); 100% pure lies and unwilling to deal with troubles and concerns of consumers. Why do I have buy my flight from this company? What kind of service are you able to offer or actually willing to do when something happens? 99.99% nothing.
I wasted 2 entire days trying to get a hold of someone to fix the problem; not to mention I have to drop everything important to deal with this matter. No one seemed to care and do something about it. Everyone on the phone just want to transfer you to another department and made you wait for hours and the phone call disconnects you every single time after you waited for at least an hour. How many hours do we have in a day to be hung up on??? Seriously the worst experience anyone could have. What kind of solutions can be given if no one is willing to help you?

We had booked flights to Mexico in March but did not put insurance in the flights but my husband’s brother got diagnosed with brain and back cancer so we decided not to go. We called them and they said if we paid another $100 apiece that would hold our credit of $1280 and we could use it by Dec. Booked flight from LHE to YYJ Sep21/18, which was canceled by Saudia Airlines on August 13/18. I called hundreds of time to CheapOair and every time I accepted their alternate schedule, every time they canceled in few days. They gave me this mental torture for more than 4 weeks and at the eleventh hour, they asked for refund and in that process I lost $110 too apart from severe mental torture which I faced and still facing as my kids missed school and I had to purchase an expensive ticket in short time. I did not answer the first call, but answered the 2. They had a lot of my info and said that they had a cheaper flight, etc. I suddenly realized that this was not right and hung up. My booking no **. I travel back in February 2018 from SDF to New Delhi. I booked my flight on the << phone>> from SDF 3:31 pm > to LGA 5:41 pm. Layover time 2h 14m (I HAVE TO TRAVEL FROM LGA TO JFK FOR CONNECTING FLIGHT IN 1H 30M). JFK TO CDG TO DEL that ticket cost me $1294.70. So whenever I call CheapOair to cancel my flight they say that flight is non-refundable so I asked for different flight. That flight cost me extra $629.93. So total I paid $1924.63.
That new flight from SDF to Detroit to Amsterdam to New Delhi I was okay with that cost but I was more happy that my problem was resolved but I was not aware that what's going to happen next. So I was going to departure from Louisville 17 Mar / at 4 pm on <<15 Mar>> at 8 pm. I was just checking through the Delta Airlines to just make sure my flight is booked then I call Delta then Delta tell me that they don't have any reservation from Amsterdam to Delhi for me.
After Delta I call CheapOair. I called them nine different times. I was on the hold for 49 minutes then it's hang up the phone every night time. On 10th time I request to that guy to don't hang up that phone. They resolve that problem in 4 Hour that 4 Hour I was on phone. That entire four hour I was crying. I was middle of nowhere. I purchased three airline tickets with CheapOair for a very good price and the flight was direct from OKC to Orlando. Too good to be true. A day before the flight the company canceled my flight and offered me another one with one stop, inconvenient departure and arrival time for much more longer fly/overlay hours. I have been told I need to accept it or they will give me my money back. I already was schedule my time going to a wedding and having days off from work. With no much choice I agreed on the change and try to rent a car through their website. The prices were "too good to be true"- $6.00 or $6.54 per day.

We had booked tickets for Vegas a month ago, and received an email with totally different tickets. No explanation, just to confirm the new changed tickets. We would have lost a day in Vegas, and had to change planes during our trip, where our original tickets were direct flights. I’ve purchased many international tickets with CheapOair in the past. In one occasion, I had to postpone my return to the US due to serious health issues. My change of date of return ticket price was increased by at least a 70% of the total value of it. After that experience, I bought a pair of senior tickets to surprise my parents for their anniversary. Health issues are preventing them to complete this trip, so I was forced to cancel it. When I called before confirming the tickets, an agent informs me that a $50.00 dollar fee will apply if cancellation occurs after a 24 hour period.
So the morning after I called and talk to another agent, who informed me I had to pay $75.00 dollar fee for the cancellation – twice! – I enquired them immediately why I was told a $50.00 dollar fee would apply after the 24 hour period, and then I'm being told a $75.00 dollar fee applies and within the 24 hr. period. I believe their policies are shameless and arbitrary, they inform anything and change it whenever, by simply blaming the airlines! We waste our time on their website only to be forced to call them on the phone anyways, to be told different things and to be charged regardless, by a very poorly trained agent or supervisor with a terrible accent which makes communication even less effective! This last time I’ve learned: I’m not using their services ever again, and to let everyone know about their poor service.

I was looking for inexpensive flights and I found what I thought I needed in CHEAPOAIR. My friends in Singapore made the booking, paid for the ticket and forwarded to me the details. I noted that it was just the booking number and it stated that the e-ticket would be issued later. After waiting 24 hours and no update, I called customer service to ask about the e-ticket status. I gave all the information about myself (the passenger) but to my surprise they only would give out information if I knew the telephone number and the billing address of the person who paid. I waited 20 mins to get this frustrating answer. I would like to remind CHEAPOAIR that security is for the passenger and not the payer. So if you really want to authenticate, please do it on behalf of the passenger and not the person who paid the ticket. It's 36 hours and I still don't have an update. Hope I still have a flight booked.

Anyway, CheapOair has charged me over $50.00 in service fees above what the airline charged for going through their website to book my flight. So much for saving any money, they are a rip off. I have been on the phone with them all morning in regards to my fees. First they were charging me twice as much as what the airline was charging me for my baggage ($60 each way rather than the $30 that Spirit charges) and I questioned that and now they are charging me this service fee. Booked "Business Class" airfare from Tampa to Rio de Janeiro through CheapOair - it turns out that the first of 3 legs is in economy. The fares for 2 passengers were priced in Australian Dollars at AU$2,561.66 with the statement "Your credit card may be billed in multiple charges totalling the above amount" - Well the total debited to credit card (from a major Australian bank) was AU$2,638.50, including a foreign exchange charge of AU$76.84. Inquiries via CheapOair "Contact Us" have failed to produce any response.

My flight got canceled and I have been try for a month to get my refund, they are giving the runaround how they are waiting for the airline to give them the refund code. I called the airline, they have not requested the code on CheapOair side. They always say they will call me back. They said that 4 times. Each time I called them myself. I asked for the manager, he said he happened to be the manager. Really, managers answers calls now. I ask to be transferred to the US side, she said he can't. Only India side of customer service. I bought my plane tickets and they charged me services that I never chose, like to book my seats. I call them to get the credit immediately when I saw the transaction and they told me that they would give me the credit. That never happened and when I called a second time they told me they would give it to me but I had to give them all my information such as credit card number, address and others for verification including expiration date and security code which I did not give them because I suspected have to give so much information.
As they did not get it, they transferred me to a supervisor who, according to them, would give me a machine to make it more confidential. I did not give him my security code and hang up. Soon I received a notice of my card that I had tried to charge more than $ 500 dollars to my credit card and several other transactions and they invented the security code and that is why the bank suspected it was a fraudulent transaction. This company is a scam, do not use it because they were robbed.

After putting my trust in CheapOair they play this game where they send you an URGENT email mentioning a LEG of your existing flight that they booked was CANCELLED. THIS IS A LIE. After speaking with Air Canada they said they never canceled my leg coming home. Second, they would never charge $200.00 for the change because it was the airline who made the change. I made a horrible decision booking with CheapOair, I tried to use credit for an existing reservation and was hung up on twice by Thomas and Ana. I will never fly through CheapOair again, I’m very disappointed in this company whom I’ve flown with for years until I had an issue that was unresolvable.
We have spoken with the customer, and also visited our phone logs, and the agents did not purposely disconnect the calls. We have worked out an arrangement for when she calls back to rebook her flights if she decides too,.

Before booking my flight, I confirmed with American Airlines and told them my exact itinerary and they confirmed that I am allowed two checked bags. After the purchase, I noticed couple days later the charge on my credit card and wondered why they charged my card separately for each airlines. I called them and ask why they did that way and they said because it's different airlines so we charge separately. Never before this happened with them when I bought tickets previously.
So now since they bought my tickets separately, I have two tickets, one is domestic and one is international. Due to them buying my ticket this way, I am no longer allowed for checked bags and on top of that, now I have to pay for domestic and also for international as well. I called and they said they can't do anything about it. I was on call with them for almost 2 hours. I asked why they charged my card this way and they just kept going in circles how they do it. They literally screwed me over on this ticket and I have used them all the time before for my flying. Never again I'll be using them. Worthless customer service ever.

They ask you if you want to book insurance, on the checkout page when you're confirming flight details. I said yes, then after I paid for my tickets, an agent from CheapOair called us and pushed extra travel insurance. Well I have a death in the family and her funeral and everything will butt right up against my trip, and I tried to reschedule my trip and they informed me the very very basic airline fee, trip insurance doesn't count. When I asked them well then why would you chase people down by phone to offer them travel insurance if it's not valid for basic economy flights? They said well, "We're just a middleman it's not our fault what the airline's policies are." Which is **, because CHEAPOAIR, not the airlines are the one selling and calling customers to push for flight insurance, not the airline, so they absolutely do know, and do not tell people they're calling to upsell flight insurance to that fact.
EXTREMELY EXTREMELY SHADY! I will think long and very very hard before ever booking here again. Which is a pity because they did have tremendously cheaper flights than everyone else. My flight total came to 621 dollars, before all the upgraded travel insurance, and other "inexpensive discount" websites my tickets would have been 657 before any upgrades.

Every time I am about to buy a ticket, I get the error that the someone grabbed the last seat. Then, the customer service call me for additional price. I refused, and went back to the website, I found another ticket and again before I finish the process of buying, I get the same message that someone has grabbed the last seat. There is a game these people play, but only time will tell before they get discovered. This is very wrong and immoral. It is true that someone might have grabbed the last seat but not for the same itinerary from the same flight. They put cheap fare to attract people and when you fail to buy they call with these scam prices that are not mentioned in the website. I will be the witness when these scams get out to the public. I had booked my flight through CheapOair thinking this would be great as it was an inexpensive trip to go to Lebanon - an exciting Middle Eastern country for my friends' wedding. I spend a little over $1200 USD for my flight round trip out of Toronto to there and while the trip to there was fine and the experience In the country of Lebanon was nice, the rerun was a nightmare. And this is what occurred at the airport when I went to leave: So I got to the airport and There was only 2 lines to head to the 1st security point, both which were overcrowded. There was zero organization. Can’t tell you how many times people cut in front of me or I was pushed back (physically pushed back). Or I was shoved aside by carts and then given looks as if this was acceptable due to the fact I was not Arab or not Muslim.
When I realized the time, I asked one of the security officers for help and he just told me I had to stay in line. I ended up asking another and he said same thing. Though in the meantime, a whole family was let to cut the line that had a 5 pm flight that was ahead of me. A VERY large family. All along the process I watched as those that requested to get ahead because of the time were allowed or allowed to cut because they were of the right nationality. When I realized my flight was boarding, I told a different officer my flight was boarding in English and he goes “I can’t do anything about it”... I was still having people push me and all.
Had some woman go off on me. Idk what she was saying either but because from her gestures that she needed to get through. Constantly saw them let other people ahead but I had to stay in the line even right when I was up to them checking my passport they allowed others to cut... even at the point where my bags were getting scanned the first time, I was still having people shove in front of me. I had someone try to get in front of me even as it was evident I was upset and needed to get going and said already loudly my flight was boarding.
I get to the spot to check in and the check in counter for Lufthansa is closed. The gentleman I approached at the counter to get help told me that once it’s closed it’s closed and “maybe you come back tomorrow”. I told him, "No. I had to be on that plane and a flight," asked for help to get on another flight and he said he couldn’t do anything. At this moment I lost it and lost emotion. In frustration I told the man I felt it was the worst airport I had ever been to and the worst customer care too and I didn’t want to be in the country one moment longer for the way I was being treated. I felt I was being treated as if just because I was an American, **, female and alone I could get pushed around and looked at like I must have a lot of money to afford a new ticket home and like I was ok with everything.
A kind Spanish tourist that was having issues with Lang too helped me figure where to go for the office because I was a mess. Why was it that no airport staff was helpful or empathetic but it was another tourist? A man in the Lufthansa office there asked what happened and I told him. He said he would help me out. Instead of rebooking me a flight or anything, he up and canceled my flight. I NEVER ever told him it was ok to do that. He just did it. And because he did that it screwed me over even though I had trip insurance. When I contacted Lufthansa, they told me due to the fact the flight was canceled and then too because it was originally booked through an agent site, they were having difficulty setting the flight right. And told me I would need to purchase one.
When I contacted CheapOair about what occurred, as they were the booking company, I was told due to what occurred by the cancellation of the flight, the trip insurance was being denied and all I could get back is a partial refund (which they couldn’t tell me what it would be and I STILL don’t know what that is) and I had to pay for a new ticket to go home. So I did. I paid an additional $2000 because I just wanted to go home at that point. And I had important affairs to attend to. CheapOair promised they would contact me when I returned home and NEVER did. I have written letters and NO ONE has followed through on this even to assist in the refund.
I get told that I could now only check 1 bag not 2 so I’m being pushed to re-organize my luggage quick at check in and in stressful flustered state I packed the wrong side of my backpack. Which means my car keys ended in my checked bag. I finally get to Toronto and they lost my checked bag that had the part of the backpack with my keys in it. So my parents drove 3 hrs to come bring my spare fob and come get me and we drove home. It took over a week and after multiple times calling British Airways, being told the bag is still unknown in location, until I received my bag. By this point a bottle of wine had shattered in my bag and ruined clothing and electronic items.
The only companies that have candidly followed through are British Airways and Lufthansa. They have admitted their faults and apologized. However because CheapOair booked everything through Air Canada I am being told I must file claims through them. A passing of the buck so to say. They don’t want to take blame for the fact they won’t acknowledge their own trip insurance. Even the Lebanese government has owned to the fact I was treated poorly in their country. Isn’t it strange a company can’t own up to that? In all this the only thing I am requesting is a refund on the 2k I spent I should have never spent. When a traveler purchases trip insurance for an additional $80-90 USD they expect that in these cases they are covered. CheapOair does NOT value their customers. DO NOT USE THEM.

CheapOair booked both one way flights. Departure flight with frontier was canceled. CheapOair and American Airlines will not allow me to cancel return flight. What good is a return ticket when I never left home. Not even the flight insurance they offer covers this type of issue. I bet this is a profitable business. Cost of cancelation fee. It was never explained to me about a 200 dollar airline fee as well! She said after 24 hr there would be a 50 dollar fee. That was all. So after the 50 plus 200 I would only have -07 to fly again. It was not explained, I had to call a different person because could not understand the man on phone.

I booked my flight and hotel and received a confirmation code so I proceeded to book several nonrefundable activities. Two days before my reservation date I tried to verify my flight and my hotel and couldn't so I called CheapOair and was told that my flight was booked but not my hotel and after being transferred and having to repeat myself to each of the departments that I was sent to I was placed on hold for an hour and 48 minutes before I hung up. I called back the next day and was again placed on hold, this time for over 2 hours. I never received a call or anything letting me know that there was an issue with my vacation plans. I am out of the money for the activities I booked as well as missing the vacation I had so looked forward to. From this point forward I will only deal with Travelocity since I've never had any issues with them.

Tonight I was trying to book a flight for the Labor Day week and noticed CheapOair had a promo code so I searched for the flight, found it for $131 and applied their LABOR30 code. It was $10 off. I pulled out my card, entered my details and placed the order to get my flight. About 4 minutes my page processed the order. I get an error message saying, "We’re sorry. Another traveler booked this flight but good news you can buy it for 100 buck more." To top that off I got a call from ** and a lady with an Indian accent was asking for me. I was on the phone and asked her what she wants. She wanted to know what the offered price was after my order didn’t go thru.
I said since I could not complete the order on the site at the price I considered fair I was not interested giving her information about my 220 flight price. I also told her I won’t try doing business with CheapOair again. Just before she called I refreshed the page and the same flight was showing as 2 seats available at the $131 price. Also 3 minutes after the call came through I received 2 emails from the airline with a confirmation code and an account password. I found this experience disturbing and I won’t use this company again.

So I called them next day in morning as I was under 24 hours of booking this ticket. They told me because I booked this ticket in CAD not USD I had only same day cancellation option. Due to the incompetence and total failure of this company, I couldn't make it on time to see my dying mother for the last time before she passed. My flight landed after my supposedly connecting flight already took off. The next flight was 24 hours afterwards which they wanted me to wait at the airport or in the street for all they cared. None of the phone customer service reps with their fake names wanted to help and instead of taking the blame, they pushed the blame on the airline. American Airlines had the decency to put me in a hotel at their expense overnight so that I didn't have to deal with my loss in a public airport. So if you feel like having a worthless company have total control over your life and most likely ruin it then save a few dollars over using a reputable booking agency and suffer consequences at their fullest. Life lesson learned hard.

Calling CheapOair the 4th time as I am writing this review. I have been on hold with CheapOair for over 2 hours total due to the issue with them rescheduling my flight which was 5 months in advance. My original flight had a layover of 2 hours. CheapOair provided me a new rescheduled flight that changed my 2 hour layover to a 15 hour layover. My flight originally comes in late in the evening, which means with layover, we will need a hotel in which they refused to provide us. There is another flight that actually leaves 30 minutes earlier but in another airline.
After being on hold for OVER an hour, I was told that the original airline has allowed them to change our flight over to that flight. The representative, however, said that they cannot change it due to there being no seats. Keep in mind, the flight isn't until January 2019 and I am typing this review in August 2018. While I was waiting on the line, I looked into flights and saw the flight he was had mentioned. There was seats. They just refuse to book it for us. I was on hold for over 1.5 hours at the time and the representative hangs up on me after I requested to speak with his supervisor. So I am now on hold AGAIN waiting. I have had issues like this with other agencies like Expedia.com and I have NEVER had to deal with such a horrific experience ever. Avoid using CheapOair if possible.

I called customer service in regards to changing the name on the ticket for my mother. I called immediately following the booking online because I made a mistake on the spelling of her name and asked if I could change it. The woman said there was a fee but that she would give me a ‘one time courtesy’ and waive the $9.95 charge to change the name. Later that evening I received an email from CheapOair stating they are going to charge me that fee after stating on the phone that they were going to waive it. I am very dissatisfied with their customer service and the fact that I was lied to.
When I contacted the billing department they said “we do not deal in Name Correction. Would request you to kindly get in touch with the Customer Care Team at 1-800-566-2345.” It doesn’t even make sense. Obviously this is a billing related issue and I wanted to be reimbursed which is why I contacted the billing department. Anyway I will not be using CheapOair ever again. They are fraudulent!

Just tried booking a flight. The website showed similar prices as other sites but chose CheapOair as there is a physical person to talk to in case of any issues. On finalizing the booking and checking out all of a sudden price changes. I stopped then and there and instantaneously got a call from CheapOair who in return started offering different dates. Thank God there are another websites who offer similar or better services. I ended up booking my flights with a different website and for the same price that CheapOair displayed initially.
Fares are based on availability and not guaranteed until tickets get issued. All travel agencies, and airlines all pull from the same inventory and it appears the fares this gentleman was reviewing got sold out before he could complete his transaction, We do have a team of agents who call and try to find a similar fare, and that is why we offer alternate dates in case you are flexible. many people like that option, because they don't think to look around for different dates. This customer said he found a "similar" price on another website, wonder if it was the same "similar price that we also offered.

I contacted CheapOair to cancel a booking on a flight which I am unable to make. The customer service representative, Samantha, was incredibly rude and condescending. I have never had such a negative, unprofessional interaction over simply notification of cancelling a flight. I was not asking for a refund or any money back. Do not use this company. I purchased airline ticket from CheapOair before and the experience was OK. This time it was horrible. First of all, when I purchased tickets I was not aware that I would have to pay extra for checked in luggage. They do not indicate clearly which type of ticket one is purchasing. When I called them to change our tickets it took them 2 hours to do so. I was kept on the phone for 2 hours, not a minute less! Also, I specifically asked a few times to make sure they seat my daughter and I together on two flights. I also paid extra for this service. However, when we got to the airport I realized that we are NOT seated together on neither of the flights! On the 12h flight we were seated in two diagonally opposite sides of the plane! They could not seat us further apart! Both flights were completely full so they could not help us on the spot. We had to sit apart the whole time.
And last thing, when I spoke to the agent he made me believe that Baggage protection and Flight watcher services are mandatory and they charged me for both services on both my daughter's and my ticket. Later, I realized that these services are not at all mandatory but optional. All in all, very bad experience this time. I do not think I will ever use CheapOair again.

I purchased a ticket for my son thru CheapOair. My son lost his wallet at the airport. I called an agent to see if I could change the flight or if there was any other alternatives he could use but she wasn't being acknowledgeable and did not speak English and she kept trying to book me for different flights that was more and more expensive which was useful because he lost his identification. I asked to speak with a manager which her name was Kristen. She said there is nothing they can do but direct me to their insurance company which was $37 and it didnt cover anything and that there was nothing they could do for me so I wasted $600 so it's best to book directly with the airline because they don't have any guarantees. They don't have any options or solutions. They just take your money. $600 down the drain, frustrated in Michigan. Cut the middleman out, book directly.

Booked Aug 3rd. But called to finish it. When received the confirmation the date was wrong and the gender. Called back to get it fixed a few hours later and they gave me a new booking # but now the total was $126 more plus other extras. After 2 hour on the phone they agreed to cancel & refund everything. Next morning see double charge. 2+hrs on phone. Waited a week only half $ back. After 6 hrs on the phone (not kidding) with 3 different people nobody can fix it.
They had a second reservation I didn't know about with the wrong dates but they won't do anything to fix it. They answer and leave me on the phone up to 2:14:18 hrs while asking to a supervisor then come back and say they have to review the recordings but can't give a solution. This it's been going on for 3 days and still waiting for a supervisor to call me back. The website does not have a reservation when I check it. Had never had such a bad experience. Don't use CheapOair.com to book a travel.

This is the WORST third party agent to book anything through. On July 13th 2018 I booked a two night reservation for Aug 10-12th. My flight was set to arrive at 12:15 am and unfortunately, due to horrible weather my flight after 3 am. Which means I was over 3 hours late for my reservation. I did not arrive to the hotel until almost 4 am. Reservation went from 2 nights to 1 night. CheapOair has taken me in circles trying to get some type of credit and/or refund. They are telling me it is my fault and I should have called them. NEVER WILL I USE CHEAPOAIR AGAIN!!! And I'm going to tell everyone I know the same.

The online system needs work; car rental is not recording all bookings and it is not possible to change the dates, it is locked on the original booking dates. The online checking didn’t work for me. I couldn’t find European booking a interesting price. Otherwise things are good and still using CheapOair.

I booked flight tickets and immediately after confirming the booking a window for seat selection popped up which I closed; despite that the seats were confirmed and additional charges were added for that. I tried calling their different numbers (24/7 support numbers) continuously for sometime but no one answers them.
Jaya, you were not charged for the seats, you backed out of the transaction before selecting, so no seat, or fee for that was ever confirmed. Check with you bank for any charges. Also, we see you spoke with several people regarding this so glad to see you got through.

The flight was changed for me so that it matched my husband’s, but I was not given the opportunity to pick seats to coincide with his, and my middle name was added to the ticket. You did not ask if my middle name is on my license - it is not. So now my ticket will not match my ID.

This is a scam. I REPEAT, DO NOT BUY TRAVEL PROTECTION PLAN AT CHEAPOAIR. I bought plan after reading about it at the time of buying a ticket from Cleveland to Orlando. Due to a certain unavoidable circumstance, I needed to change the booking (having the protection plan's initial verbiage in mind that falsely "assured peace of mind.")
When I tried changing the flight, not only the responder with heavy accented almost shouted at me but also told me that this Protection Plan is not valid for voluntary changes. What?? Voluntary changes. I have some issues that barred me from traveling at that time. And I wanted another time in view of the Protection Plan. No. Not at all. Later I reviewed the site. I feel that CheapOair is scam and so is their Travel Protection Plan etc. They do not have any decent booking agents who could talk properly. Either they are sitting in some call centers in China or in Philippines and/or extremely rude to talk to. Please do not use CheapOair.

I have spoken with someone about a cancelation on a car rental, which was canceled a week before my trip and they told me to give it at least 14 days for a refund. I did get a refund, but it was not what I paid for the rental, and I get that there is a fee for canceling, but $220 is a big discrepancy on what is owed to me. Every time I email now they tell me they are working on it. It doesn't take a month to put my money back on my card. I will never use this company again. There are so many other companies out there that can do a better job. This was my first and LAST time using this company!
I'm disappointed that someone can't do their job. It cannot be that hard to look at an account, and say, “Oh I'm so sorry for the confusion, and mistake we will fix it right away”, not, “We are looking into it”, and every time I make contact, that is what I get. How long does it take? Not a month! I did not get insurance on the car so that certainly isn't the excuse, so what is it? Bad customer service? I would say yes! Just very disappointed. And It seems as customers we have no recourse except to complain about bad service. And unfortunately customer service has just gotten worse over the years.

Booked return tickets online Toronto - Cairo - Toronto. We were told we were allowed 2 PCS 23 KG each passenger. At the check in we were told that we are allowed only 1 PC and had to pay $100.00 for the second suitcase. CheapOair failed to inform us that we were only allowed PCS on the flight back to Toronto.

I thought that CheapOair was going to provide me and my family of four to Europe with a good price and service. I ended up paying WAY MORE due to a slight error in one of the names (middle name). They didn't consider the value of my tickets and they had to charge me for this error ($1300), no regard to anything. Their rep was so excited I did this mistake (apparently getting a good bonus).
I have called Lufthansa which was the carrier for my trip and they have indicated that they could fix this slight error but they are obliged not to because of their contract with CheapOair. The rep used scare tactics to get me to cancel a ticket and get a new one with the corrected name. TOTAL disregard to us (customers)... an opportunistic web service... I advise to reserve with the airline directly and pay few dollars more... Believe me. It's worth it.

Absolutely terrible service! I booked a three legged trip from Vermont to California; set to leave at 5:30 am and land in CA in the early evening on the same day. The price was fair (though nothing amazingly cheap). They booked me on two different airlines. The bad part started when they reported to me a "change in itinerary".
They had rebooked me on a next day flight - meaning I was going to leave at the same time, 5:30am on a Monday, but then would have 2 layovers, a 14 hour in JFK and an 18 hour in Las Vegas and not arrive home until 36 hours later on Tuesday. This meant I was going to miss a whole day of work and my wages. I called them and asked for help. The rep was rude, spoke poor English and totally unhelpful. He said there was nothing they could do. I wound up asking the airline reps in person during the course of my travels and was able to get on standby. So $175 and 22 hours (instead of 36 - what should have been a 8 -10 hour day at the most) I made it home. I will never never never book through CheapOair again (the name really says it all).

The person who handled my issue was great. He went out of his way to do whatever he could to get my seats booked. At first the seating was restricted to assignment at boarding. I told him I had little children traveling with me so he took it upon himself and took it to a different level. Bottom line I got the seats booked together.

I made air reservations by phone. The rep did not ask for our known traveler numbers. I reminded him & assumed he put them in. They did not send them to the airline, so we did not get TSA PreCheck. When I just called to tell them, he said "There is nothing I can do about it now. So sorry." Hung up on me!

I have used CheapOair probably 15 times previously. It is currently Saturday and I am on vacation until Tuesday. I got an email from CheapOair today Saturday saying my flight was moved by the airline to Monday evening. That is not an option as I have housing arrangements until Tuesday. I called to let them know that would not work. Their response, "You can leave Monday or Wednesday".
Once again I explained I have housing until TUESDAY not Wednesday. I told them I need help finding a flight on Tuesday as that is when I originally had a flight for me and my Girlfriend and Child to return home. The next response, "We will refund your flight". Ok so the flight I booked 4 months ago will be refunded so I can book a flight 3 days in advance that will be 3 or 4 times more expensive. That does not add up. I explained this and at this point, he said, "this is all we can do for you." At no point was I offered a different airline even if it was an additional cost. I can say I will obviously not use CheapOair anymore as I am now looking for flights for my family. Thank you for your time.

My husband and I went to CheapOair to book a flight, seven months in advance the trip happening in Feb. 2019. We booked a flight with specific dates and after booking, we see the confirmation screen and noticed the return date was different. After a horrible experience with a CheapOair customer rep. we realized that the website has a fraud integrated mechanism in booking airfares which automatically inserts an alternate date just after is booked to extort additional fees from the consumer. We called to make the change seconds after booking and they couldn't give us a decent accommodation but wanted to charge us double for the return date change plus the worst accommodations times ever. We decided to cancel and get a refund.

I booked my flight with CheapOair. Unfortunately they provided wrong email address to the airline and I wasn't able to check in online resulting a fee of EUR$110 ($180 cad$) for checking in over the counter in Dublin. CheapOair denied any responsibility for the mistake and even after various phone calls they refused any reimbursement or goodwill to resolve this. Please stay AWAY to avoid hassle while abroad. I booked my flight and rental online and when I got to my destination was notified, that the rental wasn't paid for. In true fashion I called to rectify the issue. And what, by their own admittance should have taken 8-10 minutes to do ended taking me over an hour and racking up a $200 phone bill. They had the wrong reference number and were adamant payment was made. Only when convinced by the rental agency that payment wasn't made did they concede.
I just got off the phone with a supervisor who basically made it clear, that what I was saying was untrue, until he went and listened to the phone call. Then all I got was sorry it was a new employee and was rushed off the phone. Keep in mind that this took place at midnight while I had my two young children with me. This is very poor service by incompetent people, not using this service again.

I have used CheapOair to book most of my flights in the past years and never had an issue until now. I bought a ticket from Tap Portugal through CheapOair from Rome to JFK. However, I could not take this trip due to unforeseen circumstances (a fire destroyed my apartment). I was forced to vacate my apartment about two weeks before I this flight. I immediately contacted CheapOair, explaining that I had not purchased traveler's insurance and if there is anything they can do. I managed to get in touch with a supervisor that asked for proof of the fire and vacate order. The supervisor did not promise me anything, but I sent all proof a couple days after we spoke (I had no electronics at that time).
A week passed by and I had not heard anything from CheapOair. I sent an email asking for an update on the case and did not receive a response. At this point I couldn't wait much longer so I called CheapOair again, and was able to talk to another (helpful) supervisor. Again, he couldn't promise me anything but he at least opened up a case with Tap Portugal. He also apologized for the previous supervisor not getting back to me. A couple weeks later I received a phone call from CheapOair stating that my case is still pending and that Tap Portugal would have the final decision. I was somewhat hopeful that I would receive an answer soon (whether I would get a refund or not).
Another month passed by and I called CheapOair for the 7th time. Another supervisor explained to me that my request had been denied almost TWO weeks ago and that TAP Portugal is the one that makes the final decision. This is just absurd and exhausting to deal with. CheapOair could at least have had the decency to give me an update or a response on my case. I shouldn't have had to call 7+ times and send out emails. I am fully aware that I did not purchase traveler's insurance, but when it comes to extreme cases, I believe there should be another way out. I proceeded to call TAP Portugal to ask them about the case, and the representative said that CheapOair are the only ones who have the authority to make a decision when it comes to refunds/credits. I am extremely disappointed with the service I've received from CheapOair. It's disheartening to think a company like this can't help or be proactive when it comes to their customer's needs.

I was to travel on July 29th 2018 for the International Data Science Conference which was holding in Las Vegas. On July 27th, since I had missed out on using the conference registration discount, I panicked, believing that the offer for Excalibur Hotel was the best I could get, I made the reservation on CheapOair, and had the confidence to do so because they were advertising that the hotel had free cancellation. But about upon booking my flight, they gave me a cheaper offer for the Luxor hotel where the conference was to hold. Opting for that, I called them immediately to cancel the previous reservation, which is when their true colours came out.
The agent tried to convince me that I was mistaken on the refund policy. Then said she will do her best and I should hold while she process the cancellation on her end. Then she says she needs to contact the hotel by email to cancel. And that she will get back to me. From that day July 27th to July 30th they kept taking me in circles. So since I was in Vegas, I went to Excalibur to find out why my cancellation was taking so long to process and that was when I was told that CheapOair never contacted them about my cancellation request and that they have me on their system as a no show. They also explained that since I chose to stay at the Luxor hotel, it was fine with them because the Luxor is their partner.
They went further to explain that it's the agent that has to contact them to cancel and all that is required is for the CheapOair or rather GBA to send an email explanation and I will get my refund. The reservation manager at the Excalibur hotel also said the email they got from them requested that they penalize me the full fee, which I'm guessing is so that CheapOair gets the full commission. Whereas they had been lying to me that it is all the hotel’s fault. They are also very crafty in that they avoid having an email trail in such disputes so they never sent me emails concerning my cancellation request but I am smart too. All conversations were recorded by me and I will not rest until they are either shut down from doing business or fined.

I've been using CheapOair for more than 4 yrs. Although seeing countless complaints, bad things never happened to me until today (2018/8/7) when I had to contact customer service. I booked a ticket for my mother from China to the US to visit me. However, in the confirmation email, her last name showed up twice: once in the last name section, and once in the middle name section. I really believe that CheapOair made this mistake because first, there are countless similar incidents that are listed on the website that I provide below. Second, My families are Chinese, which means that we never mess with the middle name section in any forms that we have to fill.
OKAY, let's say this, even if it was me who mistakenly repeated my mother's last name during the booking process, I had to contact CheapOair 8 times alone on the first day to try to tackle this problem. Some representatives hanged up on me by having to overtly lying to me, "our waiver team will actually contact you in 20 minutes", others rudely threatened me that the only way my issue could be solved was to have my ticket cancelled and rebooked so that I could suffer a $1,000+ loss (and at the same time, CHEAPOAIR's gain, right?). However, Air China gave a different answer, kindly advising me to let CheapOair give them a simple call so the airline can make a modification. According to Air China, it should be an easy fix because it would be an error change instead of a passenger change, which would not be allowed.
I know life is unfair sometimes, and unpleasant things happen, but CheapOair's style of operation is problematic and fraudulent. At this moment, My mother's flight will be in 2 days, and the issue remains unsolved. I only hope that a miracle could happen that a higher-level manager will reach out to me and will be willing to solve problems with me. I hope this company to survive and to be loved by people. Prayers are kindly appreciated, I come from a working class family and life ain't easy...

I booked a trip for a friend and myself on the phone and I did not get the email confirmation right away and when I checked it they booked my friend on the next day and they canceled my reservation. It has been more than 3 weeks now and it is not resolved. They keep on "escalating" the matter to a manager and still no results. This service is based in India and the representatives are not very helpful. I don't know what to do next since they have not resolved this problem when they admit it was their error in booking the flight.

So I am in Egypt with my 3 children and we have been in Egypt for one month. We still have another month of vacation so we decided, "Let's go to Turkey for the next month." We bought a ticket from a website called CheapOair. After two days I still have not received a flight confirmation. So we call the company and say, "You need to do a verification." I called my American Express Fraud Services and they said they paid all the money. At this point we were very confused.
I called the company and they said, "You're all set." Still we didn't get a Flight Confirmation. I tried calling them for a whole to try to figure this out and finally around one in the morning they said, "You have to pay four hundred more dollars." And "Couldn't do that. Is there anything else," and they said, "We can put you on a plane that has a long connection to Greece." And I decided that we should found another flight and cancel this one. And this was my worst experience that I have had in a long time. I will NEVER book and recommend family and friend to not use CheapOair to book anything.

I typed the right information and after I purchased the ticket I got wrong birthday date in the first flight and wrong last name on the second flight and they want $150 to correct my last name, they are scamming the consumers and I wish if there are enough people to have a class action lawsuit against them.

Do not make a reservation for flights over the telephone. The travel agent I spoke with gave me a quote for 2 business class tickets on Virgin Atlantic flights to Europe and my Credit Card was charged a higher amount than the quote I received. There also was a unauthorized charge for seat reservations even though the agent told me there would be no charge. Their customer service department verified and agreed that I was owed a refund to my credit card but the refund was never processed. I reported the overcharge and unauthorized charge to my CC company and I will submit a complaint to the BBB.

I bought tickets online but after submitting found the tickets were no longer available. DelRoy a live agent called a few moments later advising the sale did not go through. He stayed on the line with me and found me another ticket for the same price. Then he realised I was traveling with a child and found a better route with a shorter connection time. My experience booking with CheapOair was very bad. I found they are cheating through a website price, they are attracting $20 or 30 discount but at the end of your booking price will change to $80-150 more and they will ask to proceed with new price. I was so frustrated what they showed on the website but can't purchase with the same price. I called to CheapOair and ask me to explain this behavior, he told me, "Your browser has some issue." I used another computer but it was same. They are playing with your innocence and cheating through website price. In my case web price was US $1587 and final purchase price was US $1645. Increased price at the end of credit card payment.

Customer service and ease of booking was great. I’ve never booked a flight before and it was super easy to follow. However... this flight is for our honeymoon. I was under the impression that my name would be changed by the time our flight date would arrive and I got word that it wouldn’t be changed in time. Therefore I wouldn’t have the correct documents to board the plane because I had booked the flight in my married name and would still have my maiden name on my ID. Whoever I talked to was super nice about changing my name to my maiden name but I was charged $50 for this. Which to be honest is ridiculous considering I’m paying almost $1000 for a 2 hr round trip flight already because of the insurance I added. This charge shouldn’t exist especially if flight insurance is purchased.

This has happened to me 2 times now. I book a ticket then when it is being processed it says the price has increased $50! I really believe the site is a scam with prices that are not true. This happened to me also about 6 months ago. When you call them they can't find the reservation and then try to get you to take another plane at a different price. They told me the American Airlines flight was sold out and yet I booked it immediately on American for less than their quote. I am done with them.
