    USA citizen way from this band of cannibals. They stole from me $1750 and make my vacation hell. Make this company viral in social media to stop their criminal activity. I don't wish my enemy to book ticket in this company. They don't speak English and don't have an American culture of work. It is my first time in life to know that unskilled worker and horrible service to be used as an opportunity to make money.

    We had booked tickets for Vegas a month ago, and received an email with totally different tickets. No explanation, just to confirm the new changed tickets. We would have lost a day in Vegas, and had to change planes during our trip, where our original tickets were direct flights. There was no restitution for the inconvenience and we requested a refund they say we will get in 7 days.

    I’ve purchased many international tickets with CheapOair in the past. In one occasion, I had to postpone my return to the US due to serious health issues. My change of date of return ticket price was increased by at least a 70% of the total value of it. After that experience, I bought a pair of senior tickets to surprise my parents for their anniversary. Health issues are preventing them to complete this trip, so I was forced to cancel it. When I called before confirming the tickets, an agent informs me that a $50.00 dollar fee will apply if cancellation occurs after a 24 hour period.

    So the morning after I called and talk to another agent, who informed me I had to pay $75.00 dollar fee for the cancellation – twice! – I enquired them immediately why I was told a $50.00 dollar fee would apply after the 24 hour period, and then I'm being told a $75.00 dollar fee applies and within the 24 hr. period. I believe their policies are shameless and arbitrary, they inform anything and change it whenever, by simply blaming the airlines! We waste our time on their website only to be forced to call them on the phone anyways, to be told different things and to be charged regardless, by a very poorly trained agent or supervisor with a terrible accent which makes communication even less effective! This last time I’ve learned: I’m not using their services ever again, and to let everyone know about their poor service.

    I was looking for inexpensive flights and I found what I thought I needed in CHEAPOAIR. My friends in Singapore made the booking, paid for the ticket and forwarded to me the details. I noted that it was just the booking number and it stated that the e-ticket would be issued later. After waiting 24 hours and no update, I called customer service to ask about the e-ticket status. I gave all the information about myself (the passenger) but to my surprise they only would give out information if I knew the telephone number and the billing address of the person who paid. I waited 20 mins to get this frustrating answer. I would like to remind CHEAPOAIR that security is for the passenger and not the payer. So if you really want to authenticate, please do it on behalf of the passenger and not the person who paid the ticket. It's 36 hours and I still don't have an update. Hope I still have a flight booked.

    I was charged $135.01 extra. I told agent I had to change tickets leaving MYR for BWI due to impending hurricane. The purchase price listed on my paperwork does not add up to $323.39 no matter how I look at it. Where is the credit for the amount on ticket previously paid for? I think I will use Priceline in the future.

    Just booked my flights through CheapOair, mind you, I usually use Expedia or Hotels.com to do any bookings. Anyway, CheapOair has charged me over $50.00 in service fees above what the airline charged for going through their website to book my flight. So much for saving any money, they are a rip off. I have been on the phone with them all morning in regards to my fees. First they were charging me twice as much as what the airline was charging me for my baggage ($60 each way rather than the $30 that Spirit charges) and I questioned that and now they are charging me this service fee. I checked with Spirit directly and I could have gotten the tickets going through their website directly without paying any service fees for the exact same amount. Cost me more money rather than saving money. Will never use them again.

    Booked "Business Class" airfare from Tampa to Rio de Janeiro through CheapOair - it turns out that the first of 3 legs is in economy. The fares for 2 passengers were priced in Australian Dollars at AU$2,561.66 with the statement "Your credit card may be billed in multiple charges totalling the above amount" - Well the total debited to credit card (from a major Australian bank) was AU$2,638.50, including a foreign exchange charge of AU$76.84. Inquiries via CheapOair "Contact Us" have failed to produce any response.

    Please whatever you do, DO NOT use them! My flight got canceled and I have been try for a month to get my refund, they are giving the runaround how they are waiting for the airline to give them the refund code. I called the airline, they have not requested the code on CheapOair side. They always say they will call me back. They said that 4 times. Each time I called them myself. I asked for the manager, he said he happened to be the manager. Really, managers answers calls now. I ask to be transferred to the US side, she said he can't. Only India side of customer service. Not true, I spoke to someone and they said I can always request someone in the US side. They can't even tell me how much they can refund me, since it was only the returned flight that was canceled. As of today I still don't have a refund! This is BS!

    Purchase a ticket... the price and arrival date and time was perfect. However, once I paid my itinerary locations and date was different immediately call the site and stated a problem occurred. I booked departure on the 9th from Baltimore at 7 a.m. with arrival at 10:55 in Dallas. Now I’m going to Florida with a 24-hour layover in Florida then Dallas. I was advised see the fine print and this is non-refundable even if it was purchased 3 mins ago. Additional cost to go directly to Dallas is doubled the ticket price or lose your initial payment.     I bought my plane tickets and they charged me services that I never chose, like to book my seats. I call them to get the credit immediately when I saw the transaction and they told me that they would give me the credit. That never happened and when I called a second time they told me they would give it to me but I had to give them all my information such as credit card number, address and others for verification including expiration date and security code which I did not give them because I suspected have to give so much information.

    As they did not get it, they transferred me to a supervisor who, according to them, would give me a machine to make it more confidential. I did not give him my security code and hang up. Soon I received a notice of my card that I had tried to charge more than $ 500 dollars to my credit card and several other transactions and they invented the security code and that is why the bank suspected it was a fraudulent transaction. This company is a scam, do not use it because they were robbed.

    CheapOair please NEVER book airline tickets with them. I booked my tickets 5 Months before my travel date. After putting my trust in CheapOair they play this game where they send you an URGENT email mentioning a LEG of your existing flight that they booked was CANCELLED. THIS IS A LIE. After speaking with Air Canada they said they never canceled my leg coming home. Second, they would never charge $200.00 for the change because it was the airline who made the change. CHEAPOAIR IS NOT A RELIABLE BUSINESS. PLEASE DO NOT USE CHEAPOAIR. Ruben ** the VP of customer service is also a very dishonest man. I have emails to prove it.

    Before booking my flight, I confirmed with American Airlines and told them my exact itinerary and they confirmed that I am allowed two checked bags. After the purchase, I noticed couple days later the charge on my credit card and wondered why they charged my card separately for each airlines. I called them and ask why they did that way and they said because it's different airlines so we charge separately. Never before this happened with them when I bought tickets previously.

    So now since they bought my tickets separately, I have two tickets, one is domestic and one is international. Due to them buying my ticket this way, I am no longer allowed for checked bags and on top of that, now I have to pay for domestic and also for international as well. I called and they said they can't do anything about it. I was on call with them for almost 2 hours. I asked why they charged my card this way and they just kept going in circles how they do it. They literally screwed me over on this ticket and I have used them all the time before for my flying. Never again I'll be using them. Worthless customer service ever.

    They ask you if you want to book insurance, on the checkout page when you're confirming flight details. I said yes, then after I paid for my tickets, an agent from CheapOair called us and pushed extra travel insurance. Well I have a death in the family and her funeral and everything will butt right up against my trip, and I tried to reschedule my trip and they informed me the very very basic airline fee, trip insurance doesn't count. When I asked them well then why would you chase people down by phone to offer them travel insurance if it's not valid for basic economy flights? They said well, "We're just a middleman it's not our fault what the airline's policies are." Which is **, because CHEAPOAIR, not the airlines are the one selling and calling customers to push for flight insurance, not the airline, so they absolutely do know, and do not tell people they're calling to upsell flight insurance to that fact.

    EXTREMELY EXTREMELY SHADY! I will think long and very very hard before ever booking here again. Which is a pity because they did have tremendously cheaper flights than everyone else. My flight total came to 621 dollars, before all the upgraded travel insurance, and other "inexpensive discount" websites my tickets would have been 657 before any upgrades.

    Every time I am about to buy a ticket, I get the error that the someone grabbed the last seat. Then, the customer service call me for additional price. I refused, and went back to the website, I found another ticket and again before I finish the process of buying, I get the same message that someone has grabbed the last seat. There is a game these people play, but only time will tell before they get discovered. This is very wrong and immoral. It is true that someone might have grabbed the last seat but not for the same itinerary from the same flight. They put cheap fare to attract people and when you fail to buy they call with these scam prices that are not mentioned in the website. I will be the witness when these scams get out to the public. Shame on CheapOair.

    I had booked my flight through CheapOair thinking this would be great as it was an inexpensive trip to go to Lebanon - an exciting Middle Eastern country for my friends' wedding. I spend a little over $1200 USD for my flight round trip out of Toronto to there and while the trip to there was fine and the experience In the country of Lebanon was nice, the rerun was a nightmare. And this is what occurred at the airport when I went to leave: So I got to the airport and There was only 2 lines to head to the 1st security point, both which were overcrowded. There was zero organization. Can’t tell you how many times people cut in front of me or I was pushed back (physically pushed back). Or I was shoved aside by carts and then given looks as if this was acceptable due to the fact I was not Arab or not Muslim.

    When I realized the time, I asked one of the security officers for help and he just told me I had to stay in line. I ended up asking another and he said same thing. Though in the meantime, a whole family was let to cut the line that had a 5 pm flight that was ahead of me. A VERY large family. All along the process I watched as those that requested to get ahead because of the time were allowed or allowed to cut because they were of the right nationality. When I realized my flight was boarding, I told a different officer my flight was boarding in English and he goes “I can’t do anything about it”... I was still having people push me and all.

    Had some woman go off on me. Idk what she was saying either but because from her gestures that she needed to get through. Constantly saw them let other people ahead but I had to stay in the line even right when I was up to them checking my passport they allowed others to cut... even at the point where my bags were getting scanned the first time, I was still having people shove in front of me. I had someone try to get in front of me even as it was evident I was upset and needed to get going and said already loudly my flight was boarding.

    I get to the spot to check in and the check in counter for Lufthansa is closed. The gentleman I approached at the counter to get help told me that once it’s closed it’s closed and “maybe you come back tomorrow”. I told him, "No. I had to be on that plane and a flight," asked for help to get on another flight and he said he couldn’t do anything. At this moment I lost it and lost emotion. In frustration I told the man I felt it was the worst airport I had ever been to and the worst customer care too and I didn’t want to be in the country one moment longer for the way I was being treated. I felt I was being treated as if just because I was an American, **, female and alone I could get pushed around and looked at like I must have a lot of money to afford a new ticket home and like I was ok with everything.

    A kind Spanish tourist that was having issues with Lang too helped me figure where to go for the office because I was a mess. Why was it that no airport staff was helpful or empathetic but it was another tourist? A man in the Lufthansa office there asked what happened and I told him. He said he would help me out. Instead of rebooking me a flight or anything, he up and canceled my flight. I NEVER ever told him it was ok to do that. He just did it. And because he did that it screwed me over even though I had trip insurance. When I contacted Lufthansa, they told me due to the fact the flight was canceled and then too because it was originally booked through an agent site, they were having difficulty setting the flight right. And told me I would need to purchase one.

    When I contacted CheapOair about what occurred, as they were the booking company, I was told due to what occurred by the cancellation of the flight, the trip insurance was being denied and all I could get back is a partial refund (which they couldn’t tell me what it would be and I STILL don’t know what that is) and I had to pay for a new ticket to go home. So I did. I paid an additional $2000 because I just wanted to go home at that point. And I had important affairs to attend to. CheapOair promised they would contact me when I returned home and NEVER did. I have written letters and NO ONE has followed through on this even to assist in the refund.

    I get told that I could now only check 1 bag not 2 so I’m being pushed to re-organize my luggage quick at check in and in stressful flustered state I packed the wrong side of my backpack. Which means my car keys ended in my checked bag. I finally get to Toronto and they lost my checked bag that had the part of the backpack with my keys in it. So my parents drove 3 hrs to come bring my spare fob and come get me and we drove home. It took over a week and after multiple times calling British Airways, being told the bag is still unknown in location, until I received my bag. By this point a bottle of wine had shattered in my bag and ruined clothing and electronic items.

    The only companies that have candidly followed through are British Airways and Lufthansa. They have admitted their faults and apologized. However because CheapOair booked everything through Air Canada I am being told I must file claims through them. A passing of the buck so to say. Isn’t it strange a company can’t own up to that? In all this the only thing I am requesting is a refund on the 2k I spent I should have never spent. When a traveler purchases trip insurance for an additional $80-90 USD they expect that in these cases they are covered. CheapOair does NOT value their customers. DO NOT USE THEM.

    I booked my flight and hotel and received a confirmation code so I proceeded to book several nonrefundable activities. Two days before my reservation date I tried to verify my flight and my hotel and couldn't so I called CheapOair and was told that my flight was booked but not my hotel and after being transferred and having to repeat myself to each of the departments that I was sent to I was placed on hold for an hour and 48 minutes before I hung up. I called back the next day and was again placed on hold, this time for over 2 hours. I never received a call or anything letting me know that there was an issue with my vacation plans. I am out of the money for the activities I booked as well as missing the vacation I had so looked forward to.     Tonight I was trying to book a flight for the Labor Day week and noticed CheapOair had a promo code so I searched for the flight, found it for $131 and applied their LABOR30 code. It was $10 off. I pulled out my card, entered my details and placed the order to get my flight. About 4 minutes my page processed the order. I get an error message saying, "We’re sorry. Another traveler booked this flight but good news you can buy it for 100 buck more." To top that off I got a call from ** and a lady with an Indian accent was asking for me. I was on the phone and asked her what she wants. She wanted to know what the offered price was after my order didn’t go thru.

    I said since I could not complete the order on the site at the price I considered fair I was not interested giving her information about my 220 flight price. I also told her I won’t try doing business with CheapOair again. Just before she called I refreshed the page and the same flight was showing as 2 seats available at the $131 price. Also 3 minutes after the call came through I received 2 emails from the airline with a confirmation code and an account password. I found this experience disturbing and I won’t use this company again.

    Due to the incompetence and total failure of this company, I couldn't make it on time to see my dying mother for the last time before she passed. My flight landed after my supposedly connecting flight already took off. The next flight was 24 hours afterwards which they wanted me to wait at the airport or in the street for all they cared. None of the phone customer service reps with their fake names wanted to help and instead of taking the blame, they pushed the blame on the airline. American Airlines had the decency to put me in a hotel at their expense overnight so that I didn't have to deal with my loss in a public airport.     Calling CheapOair the 4th time as I am writing this review. I have been on hold with CheapOair for over 2 hours total due to the issue with them rescheduling my flight which was 5 months in advance. My original flight had a layover of 2 hours. CheapOair provided me a new rescheduled flight that changed my 2 hour layover to a 15 hour layover. My flight originally comes in late in the evening, which means with layover, we will need a hotel in which they refused to provide us. There is another flight that actually leaves 30 minutes earlier but in another airline.

    After being on hold for OVER an hour, I was told that the original airline has allowed them to change our flight over to that flight. The representative, however, said that they cannot change it due to there being no seats. Keep in mind, the flight isn't until January 2019 and I am typing this review in August 2018. While I was waiting on the line, I looked into flights and saw the flight he was had mentioned. There was seats. They just refuse to book it for us. I was on hold for over 1.5 hours at the time and the representative hangs up on me after I requested to speak with his supervisor. So I am now on hold AGAIN waiting. I have had issues like this with other agencies like Expedia.com and I have NEVER had to deal with such a horrific experience ever. Avoid using CheapOair if possible.

    I called customer service in regards to changing the name on the ticket for my mother. I called immediately following the booking online because I made a mistake on the spelling of her name and asked if I could change it. The woman said there was a fee but that she would give me a ‘one time courtesy’ and waive the $9.95 charge to change the name. Later that evening I received an email from CheapOair stating they are going to charge me that fee after stating on the phone that they were going to waive it. I am very dissatisfied with their customer service and the fact that I was lied to.

    When I contacted the billing department they said “we do not deal in Name Correction. Would request you to kindly get in touch with the Customer Care Team at 1-800-566-2345.” It doesn’t even make sense. Obviously this is a billing related issue and I wanted to be reimbursed which is why I contacted the billing department. Anyway I will not be using CheapOair ever again. They are fraudulent!

    Just tried booking a flight. The website showed similar prices as other sites but chose CheapOair as there is a physical person to talk to in case of any issues. On finalizing the booking and checking out all of a sudden price changes. I stopped then and there and instantaneously got a call from CheapOair who in return started offering different dates. Thank God there are another websites who offer similar or better services. I ended up booking my flights with a different website and for the same price that CheapOair displayed initially.

    I purchased airline ticket from CheapOair before and the experience was OK. This time it was horrible. First of all, when I purchased tickets I was not aware that I would have to pay extra for checked in luggage. They do not indicate clearly which type of ticket one is purchasing. When I called them to change our tickets it took them 2 hours to do so. I was kept on the phone for 2 hours, not a minute less! Also, I specifically asked a few times to make sure they seat my daughter and I together on two flights. I also paid extra for this service. However, when we got to the airport I realized that we are NOT seated together on neither of the flights! On the 12h flight we were seated in two diagonally opposite sides of the plane! They could not seat us further apart! Both flights were completely full so they could not help us on the spot. We had to sit apart the whole time.

    And last thing, when I spoke to the agent he made me believe that Baggage protection and Flight watcher services are mandatory and they charged me for both services on both my daughter's and my ticket. Later, I realized that these services are not at all mandatory but optional. All in all, very bad experience this time. I do not think I will ever use CheapOair again.

I called an agent to see if I could change the flight or if there was any other alternatives he could use but she wasn't being acknowledgeable and did not speak English and she kept trying to book me for different flights that was more and more expensive which was useful because he lost his identification. I asked to speak with a manager which her name was Kristen.     Booked Aug 3rd. But called to finish it. When received the confirmation the date was wrong and the gender. Called back to get it fixed a few hours later and they gave me a new booking # but now the total was $126 more plus other extras. After 2 hour on the phone they agreed to cancel & refund everything. Next morning see double charge. 2+hrs on phone. Waited a week only half $ back. After 6 hrs on the phone (not kidding) with 3 different people nobody can fix it.

    They had a second reservation I didn't know about with the wrong dates but they won't do anything to fix it. They answer and leave me on the phone up to 2:14:18 hrs while asking to a supervisor then come back and say they have to review the recordings but can't give a solution.     This is the WORST third party agent to book anything through. On July 13th 2018 I booked a two night reservation for Aug 10-12th. My flight was set to arrive at 12:15 am and unfortunately, due to horrible weather my flight after 3 am. Which means I was over 3 hours late for my reservation.     This is a scam. I REPEAT, DO NOT BUY TRAVEL PROTECTION PLAN AT CHEAPOAIR. I bought plan after reading about it at the time of buying a ticket from Cleveland to Orlando. Due to a certain unavoidable circumstance, I needed to change the booking (having the protection plan's initial verbiage in mind that falsely "assured peace of mind.")

    When I tried changing the flight, not only the responder with heavy accented almost shouted at me but also told me that this Protection Plan is not valid for voluntary changes. What?? Voluntary changes. I have some issues that barred me from traveling at that time. And I wanted another time in view of the Protection Plan. No. Not at all. Later I reviewed the site. I feel that CheapOair is scam and so is their Travel Protection Plan etc. They do not have any decent booking agents who could talk properly. Either they are sitting in some call centers in China or in Philippines and/or extremely rude to talk to. Please do not use CheapOair.

    I have spoken with someone about a cancelation on a car rental, which was canceled a week before my trip and they told me to give it at least 14 days for a refund. I did get a refund, but it was not what I paid for the rental, and I get that there is a fee for canceling, but $220 is a big discrepancy on what is owed to me. Every time I email now they tell me they are working on it. It doesn't take a month to put my money back on my card. I will never use this company again. There are so many other companies out there that can do a better job. This was my first and LAST time using this company!

    I'm disappointed that someone can't do their job. It cannot be that hard to look at an account, and say, “Oh I'm so sorry for the confusion, and mistake we will fix it right away”, not, “We are looking into it”, and every time I make contact, that is what I get. How long does it take? Not a month! I did not get insurance on the car so that certainly isn't the excuse, so what is it? Bad customer service? I would say yes! Just very disappointed. And It seems as customers we have no recourse except to complain about bad service. And unfortunately customer service has just gotten worse over the years.

    I thought that CheapOair was going to provide me and my family of four to Europe with a good price and service. I ended up paying WAY MORE due to a slight error in one of the names (middle name). They didn't consider the value of my tickets and they had to charge me for this error ($1300), no regard to anything. Their rep was so excited I did this mistake (apparently getting a good bonus).

    I have called Lufthansa which was the carrier for my trip and they have indicated that they could fix this slight error but they are obliged not to because of their contract with CheapOair. The rep used scare tactics to get me to cancel a ticket and get a new one with the corrected name. TOTAL disregard to us (customers)... an opportunistic web service... I advise to reserve with the airline directly and pay few dollars more... Believe me. It's worth it.

    Absolutely terrible service! I booked a three legged trip from Vermont to California; set to leave at 5:30 am and land in CA in the early evening on the same day. The price was fair (though nothing amazingly cheap). They booked me on two different airlines. The bad part started when they reported to me a "change in itinerary".

    They had rebooked me on a next day flight - meaning I was going to leave at the same time, 5:30am on a Monday, but then would have 2 layovers, a 14 hour in JFK and an 18 hour in Las Vegas and not arrive home until 36 hours later on Tuesday. This meant I was going to miss a whole day of work and my wages. I called them and asked for help. The rep was rude, spoke poor English and totally unhelpful. He said there was nothing they could do. I wound up asking the airline reps in person during the course of my travels and was able to get on standby. So $175 and 22 hours (instead of 36 - what should have been a 8 -10 hour day at the most) I made it home. I will never never never book through CheapOair again (the name really says it all).

    I have used CheapOair probably 15 times previously. It is currently Saturday and I am on vacation until Tuesday. I got an email from CheapOair today Saturday saying my flight was moved by the airline to Monday evening. That is not an option as I have housing arrangements until Tuesday. I called to let them know that would not work. Their response, "You can leave Monday or Wednesday".

    Once again I explained I have housing until TUESDAY not Wednesday. I told them I need help finding a flight on Tuesday as that is when I originally had a flight for me and my Girlfriend and Child to return home. The next response, "We will refund your flight". Ok so the flight I booked 4 months ago will be refunded so I can book a flight 3 days in advance that will be 3 or 4 times more expensive. That does not add up. I explained this and at this point, he said, "this is all we can do for you." At no point was I offered a different airline even if it was an additional cost. I can say I will obviously not use CheapOair anymore as I am now looking for flights for my family. Thank you for your time.

    My husband and I went to CheapOair to book a flight, seven months in advance the trip happening in Feb. 2019. We booked a flight with specific dates and after booking, we see the confirmation screen and noticed the return date was different. After a horrible experience with a CheapOair customer rep. we realized that the website has a fraud integrated mechanism in booking airfares which automatically inserts an alternate date just after is booked to extort additional fees from the consumer. We called to make the change seconds after booking and they couldn't give us a decent accommodation but wanted to charge us double for the return date change plus the worst accommodations times ever. We decided to cancel and get a refund.

    I booked my flight with CheapOair. Unfortunately they provided wrong email address to the airline and I wasn't able to check in online resulting a fee of EUR$110 ($180 cad$) for checking in over the counter in Dublin. CheapOair denied any responsibility for the mistake and even after various phone calls they refused any reimbursement or goodwill to resolve this. Please stay AWAY to avoid hassle while abroad.     I booked my flight and rental online and when I got to my destination was notified, that the rental wasn't paid for. In true fashion I called to rectify the issue. And what, by their own admittance should have taken 8-10 minutes to do ended taking me over an hour and racking up a $200 phone bill. They had the wrong reference number and were adamant payment was made. Only when convinced by the rental agency that payment wasn't made did they concede.

    I just got off the phone with a supervisor who basically made it clear, that what I was saying was untrue, until he went and listened to the phone call. Then all I got was sorry it was a new employee and was rushed off the phone. Keep in mind that this took place at midnight while I had my two young children with me. This is very poor service by incompetent people, not using this service again.

    I have used CheapOair to book most of my flights in the past years and never had an issue until now. I bought a ticket from Tap Portugal through CheapOair from Rome to JFK. However, I could not take this trip due to unforeseen circumstances (a fire destroyed my apartment). I was forced to vacate my apartment about two weeks before I this flight. I immediately contacted CheapOair, explaining that I had not purchased traveler's insurance and if there is anything they can do. I managed to get in touch with a supervisor that asked for proof of the fire and vacate order. The supervisor did not promise me anything, but I sent all proof a couple days after we spoke (I had no electronics at that time).

    A week passed by and I had not heard anything from CheapOair. I sent an email asking for an update on the case and did not receive a response. At this point I couldn't wait much longer so I called CheapOair again, and was able to talk to another (helpful) supervisor. Again, he couldn't promise me anything but he at least opened up a case with Tap Portugal. He also apologized for the previous supervisor not getting back to me. A couple weeks later I received a phone call from CheapOair stating that my case is still pending and that Tap Portugal would have the final decision. I was somewhat hopeful that I would receive an answer soon (whether I would get a refund or not).

    Another month passed by and I called CheapOair for the 7th time. Another supervisor explained to me that my request had been denied almost TWO weeks ago and that TAP Portugal is the one that makes the final decision. This is just absurd and exhausting to deal with. CheapOair could at least have had the decency to give me an update or a response on my case. I shouldn't have had to call 7+ times and send out emails. I am fully aware that I did not purchase traveler's insurance, but when it comes to extreme cases, I believe there should be another way out. I proceeded to call TAP Portugal to ask them about the case, and the representative said that CheapOair are the only ones who have the authority to make a decision when it comes to refunds/credits. I am extremely disappointed with the service I've received from CheapOair. It's disheartening to think a company like this can't help or be proactive when it comes to their customer's needs.

    I was to travel on July 29th 2018 for the International Data Science Conference which was holding in Las Vegas. On July 27th, since I had missed out on using the conference registration discount, I panicked, believing that the offer for Excalibur Hotel was the best I could get, I made the reservation on CheapOair, and had the confidence to do so because they were advertising that the hotel had free cancellation. But about upon booking my flight, they gave me a cheaper offer for the Luxor hotel where the conference was to hold. Opting for that, I called them immediately to cancel the previous reservation, which is when their true colours came out.

    The agent tried to convince me that I was mistaken on the refund policy. Then said she will do her best and I should hold while she process the cancellation on her end. Then she says she needs to contact the hotel by email to cancel. And that she will get back to me. From that day July 27th to July 30th they kept taking me in circles. So since I was in Vegas, I went to Excalibur to find out why my cancellation was taking so long to process and that was when I was told that CheapOair never contacted them about my cancellation request and that they have me on their system as a no show. They also explained that since I chose to stay at the Luxor hotel, it was fine with them because the Luxor is their partner.

    They went further to explain that it's the agent that has to contact them to cancel and all that is required is for the CheapOair or rather GBA to send an email explanation and I will get my refund. The reservation manager at the Excalibur hotel also said the email they got from them requested that they penalize me the full fee, which I'm guessing is so that CheapOair gets the full commission. Whereas they had been lying to me that it is all the hotel’s fault. They are also very crafty in that they avoid having an email trail in such disputes so they never sent me emails concerning my cancellation request but I am smart too. All conversations were recorded by me and I will not rest until they are either shut down from doing business or fined.

    I've been using CheapOair for more than 4 yrs. Although seeing countless complaints, bad things never happened to me until today (2018/8/7) when I had to contact customer service. I booked a ticket for my mother from China to the US to visit me. However, in the confirmation email, her last name showed up twice: once in the last name section, and once in the middle name section. I really believe that CheapOair made this mistake because first, there are countless similar incidents that are listed on the website that I provide below. Second, My families are Chinese, which means that we never mess with the middle name section in any forms that we have to fill.

    OKAY, let's say this, even if it was me who mistakenly repeated my mother's last name during the booking process, I had to contact CheapOair 8 times alone on the first day to try to tackle this problem. Some representatives hanged up on me by having to overtly lying to me, "our waiver team will actually contact you in 20 minutes", others rudely threatened me that the only way my issue could be solved was to have my ticket cancelled and rebooked so that I could suffer a $1,000+ loss (and at the same time, CHEAPOAIR's gain, right?). However, Air China gave a different answer, kindly advising me to let CheapOair give them a simple call so the airline can make a modification. According to Air China, it should be an easy fix because it would be an error change instead of a passenger change, which would not be allowed.

    I know life is unfair sometimes, and unpleasant things happen, but CheapOair's style of operation is problematic and fraudulent. At this moment, My mother's flight will be in 2 days, and the issue remains unsolved. I only hope that a miracle could happen that a higher-level manager will reach out to me and will be willing to solve problems with me. I hope this company to survive and to be loved by people. Prayers are kindly appreciated, I come from a working class family and life ain't easy...

    I booked a trip for a friend and myself on the phone and I did not get the email confirmation right away and when I checked it they booked my friend on the next day and they canceled my reservation. It has been more than 3 weeks now and it is not resolved. They keep on "escalating" the matter to a manager and still no results. This service is based in India and the representatives are not very helpful.     So I am in Egypt with my 3 children and we have been in Egypt for one month. We still have another month of vacation so we decided, "Let's go to Turkey for the next month." We bought a ticket from a website called CheapOair. After two days I still have not received a flight confirmation. So we call the company and say, "You need to do a verification." I called my American Express Fraud Services and they said they paid all the money. At this point we were very confused.

    I called the company and they said, "You're all set." Still we didn't get a Flight Confirmation. I tried calling them for a whole to try to figure this out and finally around one in the morning they said, "You have to pay four hundred more dollars." And "Couldn't do that. Is there anything else," and they said, "We can put you on a plane that has a long connection to Greece." And I decided that we should found another flight and cancel this one. And this was my worst experience that I have had in a long time. I will NEVER book and recommend family and friend to not use CheapOair to book anything.

    Do not make a reservation for flights over the telephone. The travel agent I spoke with gave me a quote for 2 business class tickets on Virgin Atlantic flights to Europe and my Credit Card was charged a higher amount than the quote I received. There also was a unauthorized charge for seat reservations even though the agent told me there would be no charge. Their customer service department verified and agreed that I was owed a refund to my credit card but the refund was never processed. I reported the overcharge and unauthorized charge to my CC company and I will submit a complaint to the BBB.

    My experience booking with CheapOair was very bad. I found they are cheating through a website price, they are attracting $20 or 30 discount but at the end of your booking price will change to $80-150 more and they will ask to proceed with new price. I was so frustrated what they showed on the website but can't purchase with the same price. I called to CheapOair and ask me to explain this behavior, he told me, "Your browser has some issue." I used another computer but it was same. They are playing with your innocence and cheating through website price. In my case web price was US $1587 and final purchase price was US $1645. Increased price at the end of credit card payment.

    Customer service and ease of booking was great. I’ve never booked a flight before and it was super easy to follow. However... this flight is for our honeymoon. I was under the impression that my name would be changed by the time our flight date would arrive and I got word that it wouldn’t be changed in time. Therefore I wouldn’t have the correct documents to board the plane because I had booked the flight in my married name and would still have my maiden name on my ID. Whoever I talked to was super nice about changing my name to my maiden name but I was charged $50 for this. Which to be honest is ridiculous considering I’m paying almost $1000 for a 2 hr round trip flight already because of the insurance I added. This charge shouldn’t exist especially if flight insurance is purchased.

    This has happened to me 2 times now. I book a ticket then when it is being processed it says the price has increased $50! I really believe the site is a scam with prices that are not true. This happened to me also about 6 months ago. When you call them they can't find the reservation and then try to get you to take another plane at a different price. They told me the American Airlines flight was sold out and yet I booked it immediately on American for less than their quote. I am done with them.

    We cancelled a car reservation within an hour. Policy says booking fees charged if canceled within 72 hours of delivery. I was being charged over $60 until I protested. Also, 14 days to go thru - nonsense! A $20 "rebate" was offered - but it really was a scam to join something I had NO desire to engage. Two agents were nice to work with, a third was hard to understand. Finally, I have already received a dozen emails from CheapOair in less than 24 hours, some duplicates.

    CheapOair had the courtesy to finally call me to resolve this and it has been resolved as the error was caused by my bank who sent me the debit notification but never advised me that it not debited thereafter nor could I see a credit for the amount in my statement. I also saw in reviewing my June statements that they never debited the amount as they had advised by e-mail / SMS notification. Very unusual practice for a bank...?? I only wish that CheapOair would have contacted me earlier in June when I started questioning the extra charge. Would have saved us all a lot of time. Anyway I appreciate that they did finally respond and solved the issue

    I booked a 1 month trip with CheapOair from Thailand to various cities in Spain and Canada. Took forever to get the e-tickets which was nerve wracking as the trip was getting closer and closer to departure. Transat was one of the flights and wouldn't give any information/confirmation whatsoever and charged 50 Euros to check 1 bag which was not mentioned anywhere. CheapOair also overcharged my full flight costs by $200.00 USD and after sending numerous mails for an explanation still do not have a reply.

    I booked my car rental through CheapOair for July 12-17-booking #** confirmation # **. For $15 a day which was the best price on CheapOair's website while booking my flight. After arriving at the airport we had to wait 1 1/2 hour and called 6 time for a shuttle. When the shuttle arrived there was more passengers than seats so the driver made some passengers sit on luggages. At the Economy rental office the reps were insisting everyone had the pay huge extra insurance cost over and above the rates quoted (I didn’t because I am a BCAA member). Everything was prebooked on CheapOair contract but after returning the car was charged $35 a day instead of $15 as quoted and CheapOair did little to honor their contract. I give both Economy Car Rental and CheapOair zero stars and will never use them again.

    I’ve used CheapOair in the past no problem. However you can read the reviews and the “Alternate Date” box is a scam. If you book tickets and dates the first, and cheapest tickets come up with completely different dates than you originally requested. Then, after you pay for your tickets, you get an detailed itinerary of travel emailed to you with airfare on a completely different date than you originally requested.

    This is actually quite fraudulent, given the very sneaky and manipulative way the website is designed and CheapOair is making a fortune because a cancellation is at least $25 per flight and changes to the reservation, even those done literally minutes after being booked, are always much more expensive than flying on a Tuesday and returning on a Friday when you were trying to get away for a weekend. So thanks CheapOair for ripping your best customers off. In the end if your customers are only worth $25 a piece, you won’t have many left. I’m willing to bet there won’t be a reply-they know what they are doing.

    I booked a round trip from Vancouver to Toronto to Grenada back to Toronto for vacation. In the middle of my trip I had to leave Grenada 2 days early to get to Trinidad in order to get my travel documents renewed so I can fly back to Canada. The agent from CheapOair would not switch the dates or give a refund or a credit so for 3 people my family so we had to buy 3 more tickets cost over $15000 US dollar then again in Trinidad I had to wait for my travel documents. The same agent said the same thing and now I have to spend another $1200 plus all the waiting on the phone every day for the last 3 weeks. My Canadian phone bill is through the roof.     Was a bit scared of doing mistakes, as at my 65yo age I seem to miss 'the chip'. But I managed to succeed - and when realising that my traveler name was incomplete, they promptly issued (@US$25 extra cost) a compass ticket solving the problem. Also had an issue when picking seats: once selected, I found out that it was optional (and costly) - being on a budget, had no option to unpick them... In fact about US$16 were already charged to my credit card on account of it; but when trying to solve the case, they graciously accepted my 4 (I have to fly on 4 planes) selections for that accidental (non refundable) sum, which speaks greatly about their wonderful client attention. So I'm grateful and do highly recommend CheapOair, not only for their fantastic deals but also for their service. An excellent first experience!

    The worst experience which I have had. The first time I was impressed with their service but then... Charged money twice, refunded less than I have paid, some of staffs are crude and give wrong information.     I was buying airline tickets for the whole family, and I selected the refundable ticket option (and paid more for that!) only to find out that the tickets were not refundable and I lost all my money because we needed to change our plans!     DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE! We had to book a flight as soon as possible due to a death in the family and decided to use cheapoair.com which was a huge mistake. BUY DIRECT. We booked directly through the airline and still saved nearly a hundred dollars even after the cancellation fee was processed. Being a military family with a tight budget, being overcharged so drastically for a ticket is ridiculous, especially when their name implies they will save you money. I would never recommend this site to anyone.

    Updated on 10/03/2018: I booked a flight: Dublin-Munich-Athens then Athens-Frankfurt-Malta-Dublin. Due to fires in Athens area one of two passengers was advised to not go to Athens thus needed to only cancel legs of trip that impacted Athens: no date changes on any leg. Told if I cancelled legs that went to and from Athens all legs of trip after Dublin-Munich would be cancelled or if I wanted to make such changes an additional $1,400 would be required.

    Over a period of almost 2 months of inquiries with CheapOAir blaming Lufthansa and Lufthansa blaming CheapO I got an agent that intervened to make a request to cancel Athens legs of trip without charge: this was the only change, neither Lufthansa or CheapO would any money, I also agreed to any charge to make such changes. I spent hours on this simple change. CheapO and Lufthansa would not budge after my telephone calls and many exchanges of emails where both blamed each other.

    Finally, CheapO's intervention worked and changes made without cost. This was one pain in the neck, I was ready to simply throw away tickets and take an $1800 loss but this CheapO Air person pursued and got the change. So mixed review, should not have had to go through this with both CheapO and Lufthansa, this deserves a one star but with their efforts CheapO turned this around. They deserve a 3 or 4 star when considering both the blame game and turning it around and a 4 star for best prices.

    Original review: I had to make changes in flight to Athens due to recent fires, CheapOair was totally unwilling and inflexible on working with my flights, they blamed Lufthansa and Lufthansa blamed them and I get screwed. I was even willing to pay the rebooking/change fee of $200 but they refused blaming all on Lufthansa, don't get caught up with their inflexibility even when such things as fires in Greece require you avoid the devastation area and impact your hotel reservations.

    At first I wanted a refund for the tickets and they said the tickets were non refundable. However that’s not what the tickets said then I just simply wanted to change the dates and that’s it and they wanted to charge my card more money for me to change my ticket than what I actually bought the tickets for. The customer service rep was extremely rude and disrespectful. He was talking over me, interrupting me and didn’t understand I only want the same amount of days!!!     I think some of the other reviews are employees or friends. I can't image people are OK with someone charging you $13 to pick a seat. Are you kidding? You can do that free on the airline's website. They get paid by the airlines, but yet not only charge $13 to pick a seat, but another $30 just to make the booking. Again, really? Go to alaska.com, americanairlines.com and save yourself $43. They also do not make the extra fluff charges easily known on their website. THEY GET PAID FROM THE AIRLINES.

    I tried to book a flight for nine days from now through CheapOair today. I was not happy. After choosing a flight and filling in all the info, including my debit card info, I pushed the button and advanced one step with a price for my ticket (around $409). For the first time in the process, I saw a place to enter a bonus code. I entered the code, hit the button, and the price, instead of going down $15, went up more than $40 (to over $450). At least, there was a clear notice that the price had jumped -- but it seemed fishy to me. I did not finish the transaction. Instead, I closed that tab and searched the site for a different ticket which I had seen that was about ten or twenty dollars cheaper but was not as desirable for other reasons.

    Almost immediately, I got a text message from CheapOair about my not having completed ordering the ticket. I called the number given and got someone almost immediately after hearing that I should not hang up at the end, since there would be a one-sentence quality-control question. After explaining my situation, I heard from the service rep that the airline (American) charged more because there were almost no seats left. I didn't see the logic in this, but I did not argue it. Then he said he would check other flights.

    After a bit, he told me that the cheapest flight I could get would be what amounted to about thirty dollars more than the higher price. I said I would look elsewhere. I stayed on the line, waiting for the quality-control question. After a bit, the service rep spoke, asking me if I were still there. I said I was, and he said he would hang up. I waited about thirty seconds for the quality-control question, but there was only silence. I hung up, went to Priceline and got a better deal on the first flight.

    I have booked a few times with this company, but the first time I needed to make a change on my reservation I was extremely disappointed. I don't recommend anyone to book flights with this company. They say some information on the phone and the next call they change the tone and tell a totally different information.

    Had a terrible experience with my airplane tickets 2 days ago, and had to cancel my 2 weeks vacation to Europe that I planned for the last 6 months. My first flight, which was not connected with CheapOair got cancelled because of the weather. They rescheduled us for later time, which was too late for my International flight. When I called them to reschedule my 4 tickets, they said they will have to buy new tickets on the current price and nothing can be returned on my old tickets. So I have to pay $6,000 for new tickets and just completely lost $3,000 for tickets I bought 3 months in advance. I cannot pay $9,000 for airplane tickets. THIS IS NOT CHEAP!!! This is a SCAM!!! I ended up cancelling the whole trip and feel miserable for the whole experience.

    When a ticket that is purchased with another company or airline and the there is delays, or cancellations, it affects the reservation down line. That reservation is not protected because of two separate bookings and airlines therefore any changes she wanted to make, which we show called several times to stay over in vienna a few days she didn't want to pay the fee. So any voluntary change the customer must pay on their own, and the other airline that canceled due to weather does not have an obligation to pay for any changes to a flight not booked with them, and CheapOair is also not responsible to pay for a flight booked with us that was not impacted. That's why the rule of thumb is not to book flights separate and to keep them all together as one.

    Charged 10 times for same flight. I would select a Zero star if it was available. I purchased a ticket online, it was supposed to be for July 26, and by mistake I selected July 29. I realized the mistake when I receive their confirmation email. I called back right away and asked to change it. The agent said the difference in airfare price was $155. So I said ok. Little did I know that the $155 was a FEE for changing my date. The agent told me he would credit my account for the incorrect ticket and charge the account again. I ended up with 10 charges to my Discover Card. I had to call many times during the week, my last 3 calls were on 7/25 when I realized the charges on my card, and I realized that my paid seat was not reserved.

    I called American Airlines to confirm my seat and they said there is no seat confirmed for this ticket. Even though I had paid for it. The confirmation email I received said that the seat was confirmed. 14D. I am extremely annoyed and have wasted too much time clearing this up. Now I'm waiting for a supervisor to review the call I made and call me back to straighten out this mess. Needless to say, I will NEVER use them again, or recommend them.

    I made a booking for a flight from CDG to YYZ for $350.04. After purchasing the ticket, I was contacted the next day saying 1) my credit card was decline, and 2) there was an error with my booking. I thought this was extremely strange as I had received a booking confirmation email from CheapOair, AND my credit card was charged the full $350.04 fare. Not to mention if I attempt to make an online purchase or booking with my credit card and my bank declines it is an IMMEDIATE decline, which notifies me the moment I'm making the booking. It doesn't get declined 24 hours later, then repurchased without me re-entering my card details. This is a pretty clear indication of CheapOair's reprehensible business practices, but I digress.

    When I received the email stating the issue with my ticket and purchase I contacted customer service number, and not only did I have to suffer through 2 completely incompetent and useless customer service agents, I also spent 3+ HOURS on hold. Unacceptable. When I was finally able to speak with a supervisor I was informed that when I purchased the flight, the amount had increased from $350 to $900+, hence the error. Indication of reprehensible business practices #2. This means that in the time it took me to enter my details and hit "make payment" the fair jumped $600+, and CheapOair (wanting to capitalise on this) deducted the original price from my credit card, and then sent out a ** "your credit card was declined" email forcing me to call and get me to pay the remaining "balance".

    I've called my bank and there was no attempted purchase from CheapOair that they declined. So shame on you for your nefarious, ** business conduct. As this is a significant increase in fare and the business's unwillingness to honour my purchase I have now had to cancel the booking completely (after the supervisor offered a $75 voucher in what can only be described as adding insult to injury). I was sent a confirmation email stating a refund would be applied, however it is not for the full amount (I'm short $50).

    What sort of two-bit business is this? How do they think it's in any way, shape, or form acceptable to do this to your customers? How is a $600+ increase in airfare at the MOMENT of purchase is acceptable? The audacity to then blame it on my bank by stating they "declined it"?! Yet you were still able to somehow complete the purchase minutes later without my consent?! That is not how ANY online purchase works. AT ALL. Do you think your customers are really that stupid? This is a blatant and disgusting money grab, and has caused immeasurable stress, wasted hours, and additional money to me. Additionally I contacted the airline which the tickets were for and they confirmed they received my booking and that it was valid. So CheapOair straight out lied to me by saying I didn't have a seat on the flight because my payment was "declined". Absolutely horrendous and completely dodgy. Do not use this company... ever!

    Just letting people know that CheapOair charged me a $200 service fee for two tickets round trip to Heathrow. I am quite sure that was not revealed during sale. I would never have agreed to such a charge. Also you need to be very careful during any transaction that you understand charges. Especially on international flights. Will never use them again. Some of this is my fault but I also feel sure I was manipulated by sales staff. Never had such experience with other sites such as Expedia. They also made six different charges to my card to further obfuscate the total amount I was paying.

    My experience with them was very bitter and decided never to book with them again in my life. I have booked two tickets with them for total of 2133 $. When I cancelled the tickets they ripped me saying this and that cancellation fee and taxes will not be refunded. They refunded me only 1453 and also charged 540 saying that is airline penalty (Literally stole 680 + 540 = 1220 $ from me). What kind of business or theft is this?     Using CheapOair.com I queried a September 1st departure, the first selection put in front of me is an 8/31 departure followed by all 9/1 departures as I requested through the site. While I should have taken more time to scrutinize the selections, I am not expecting trickery at this point. I immediately noticed the error and contacted support to change to match US leg, also booked via CheapOair.com. I was under the impression that an individual had at least an hour to make a change if they saw errors in their booking.

    They charged me over $80 to change a $110 flight to the date I originally asked for, promised some type of free baggage protection which they charged me $10 for as well. When I complained they offered a $25 CheapOair credit. I refused as I will not continue using a site actively working to trick me into spending more money. A full refund of the change fees charged after the original booking is what I and any reasonable traveler with many other options would expect.

    I bought a ticket on July 16th to travel from IAD to ISB. Submit the payment and received a booking confirmation email. A week later I tried to check my itinerary on their website but couldn’t find anything. Called them and they told me that the price for the ticket went up so their ticketing department couldn’t book my ticket. They didn’t send me any information regarding this so if I didn’t call them I wouldn’t have found out that my ticket was not book and how stupid is this that they show you a price on their website and when you book it and after receiving the confirmation that your ticket is booked they tell you that you can’t get the ticket at that price.

    One more thing their customer service is horrible. When called them the customer service representative who answer my call couldn’t answer my question and then he put me on hold for more than 30 minutes and then the call was disconnected. I’ll never buy from CheapOair again and won’t recommend to my family and friends either.

    I wanted to book a trip with CheapOair.ca in July. When it was time to complete the transaction, the site said that the prices went up. This was after I had put my credit card number. I closed the page and tried to find other destinations. I checked my credit card account and was charged twice (2 different numbers, but same trip at the price I had agreed on). I called them to cancel one of the reservations. They agreed with charges of 75$. We argued that in Canada, you can cancel any online purchase within 24h. Although, they said they won't charge the fee, I will check my account regularly.

    Very bad customer service. I booked four tickets from Abu Dhabi to New York online and the total was around $3200. Minutes after my tickets were booked an agent with an Indian accent called and said that my booking was cancelled because the offer had already expired. After Waiting half an hour for him to find me new tickets, he finally gives me a whole new booking $1000 more expensive, longer connection time, and only for three people. He said he would find me another flight for the fourth person even though I had already told him it was a family trip. Then when I told him I wanted to cancel, he got very nasty and started raising his voice. That's when I hung up on him. Two days later, I open their website and the offer was still there with the "only 5 tickets remaining" message above it. Even if the offer had expired, they still have to honor it, given the fact that it's still being advertised on their website. First and last experience with CheapOair!!!

    I think we should class action against this company. They called me as soon as I pressed booking, and I said "cancel my ticket". She didn't and transferred me to another guy. It seems he did not cancel my ticket. Company tells me I denied to pay their cancellation fee and therefore they didn't cancel my ticket. I asked for my phone records and still no answer. Wonderful, they are liars to get their money anyway. Also, that day 15th June, I received an email about cancelation as below:

    "As per our conversation and as agreed, We have canceled your Booking Number ** with a $45 USD cancellation fee, for passengers Name: Z, Name: B, Name: E. You will be refunded the amount of $808.20 USD to the original form of payment used. While we make every attempt that the amount is credited back to you at the earliest, in some exceptional cases this may take one to two billing cycles to reflect on your credit card statement. Please note, the original service fee is non refundable." Wow, they charged me a whole ticket. What a scammer! They called me a liar that I denied to pay their cancellation fee! Please don't go through them, not only they insult you, but also, they don't respect the customers and they don't give you 24 hour free cancellation.

    Stay far far away from this deadbeat company. What a nest of snakes. I was forced to cancel a flight with these thieves and got absolutely bent over for the cancellation fee. Despite having a (completely useless) flex ticket they charged around $400 USD. That's about $525 CAD. For nothing. $150 of that money allegedly went to the airline, which is understandable, but I find it equal parts baffling and despicable that these parasites can charge nearly double on top of the airline cancellation fees. The first man I spoke with gave me no indication of these charges. I was told to expect a $150 fee from the airline and $50 charge from CheapOair. Somehow that added up $400 USD in their ridiculous math. The second woman I spoke to informed me that the difference was an (unannounced) $200 USD "penalty". Penalty for what? I would suggest it was a penalty for being stupid enough to book with this crooked organization.

    Ok ok. Read the fine print. I should have known better. Etc. I fly several times a year, usually back and forth to Asia. Despite having to cancel or reschedule flights a few times over the years I have never been treated in such an egregious manner. Lesson learned. I hope the money they were so keen to collect in nefarious means was worth it. I am happy to take my business elsewhere for the long long future. I would suggest to anyone looking for a flight that they book directly with the airline. Or use a different agency. There are plenty of other companies who offer this service out there who do not operate in such a shady and dishonest fashion.

    I bought two tickets online. When confirmed, the name was wrong on one of the tickets. I called immediately to have it corrected. The agent voided the wrong ticket and when I tried to check in at the airport 6 months later, I had no ticket! I called to get it corrected and was put on hold for an hour and 22 minutes. The flight was closing and when I was finally connected with Cheapo’s supervisor, she was unable to address their error. With multiple prepaid reservations at my destination, I was forced to buy a one way ticket to get on the plane, which was 3 times the cost of the original round trip ticket. I have tried working with them for 6 weeks to get reimbursement to make me whole. I am going to have to get a lawyer to get reimbursed, which I will do. CheapOair assumes no responsibility for their incompetence, only offers refund for the original ticket, and deserves to fail as a business. Buyer beware!!!

    I booked a seat through CheapOair premium economy to London. They booked it with Virgin Atlantic economy. I tried to rectify it since the email they sent me said premium economy. To call took an average of 48 minutes, and sometimes I waited as long as two hours while they were getting a supervisor. In 4 different cases, the supervisor saw the problem and said they would rectify it. They always insisted they would call me back. I never received any call back.

    Last night, I waited to speak to the desk help center, the highest supervisor. I waited 3 hours on the phone, didn't dare hang up because it is so difficult to reach anyone. Once again, the man said he would call and did not call me. To date, I still have a terrible economy seat. This company should not be allowed to do business. They took my money, lied to me, and cost me hours and hours of my time. STAY AWAY.

    I made an overseas reservation thru CheapOair only when I get to the airport to find that I had no reservations at all and ended up without traveling for the day plus I was put on hold for an hour at a time for about 7 hours without a resolution. All they kept saying were trying our best but unfortunately I ended up canceling my reservations and they kept apologizing and they said it was a technical issue.

    I had a problem with my SuperShuttle driver being late, etc. and arrived at the airport an hour before the flight. I had to stand in an American Airlines line for 20 minutes and by the time I spoke to an agent, I was told that I was a no show. I was there but they would not honor my ticket and then canceled it. CheapOair would not do anything because they claimed it was the responsibility of the airline and the airline said they could do nothing so I should call CheapOair because the ticket was from them. I asked for a credit toward another flight because I still have to travel to my destination but the price was no better than what was offered online by other companies. My airline travel insurance covered nothing. Why buy it?

    Used it to book a flight for my grieving wife and daughter so they could go to the funeral of my father in-law. When I did the flight search online and got the results back, I overlooked that they tend to mix the results with optional desired departing and returning dates being listed first. I accidentally booked the flight for the wrong departing and returning date. After I noticed my mistake I called to get it corrected, even though it had still only been around thirty minutes since I had booked the flight online I was charged $75 more plus difference in price per ticket. Went ahead completed the changes over the phone and waited for an e-mail with confirmation of changes and flight details. After waiting for several hours and no confirmation e-mail, I called to find out why I hadn't received the confirmation e-mail. After talking to a customer service representative, I received a confirmation e-mail.

    Went over the e-mail to make sure everything was correct and to see what time we needed to be at the airport. Showed up at the airport to check in for the flight only to be shocked by the airline with the news that they had neither my wife or daughter scheduled for that flight, instead they had them leaving the next day and returning on a different day than what was confirmed and paid for. I showed them the confirmation e-mail with the flight details only to be told that even though everything was confirmed in the e-mail they had nothing on their system. What they had was information of the initial booking that I spent forty-five minutes on the phone and an additional $228 dollars correcting.

    They went on to explain that there was nothing they could do on their end, and that I should take it up with whomever I had booked the tickets through. I quickly got on the phone only to be put on hold several times and in the end be told "Sorry that flight is no longer available through us and there is nothing we can do..." Words cannot describe what I felt at that moment, looking at my grieving wife and daughter, being face with the possibility that I might have to tell them that they were not going to make it to the funeral of my father in-law. All because of the incompetence and lack of professionalism of the people employed by Cheaopoair.com. Luckily, I was able to work something out directly with the airline right before their plane was about to takeoff. The tickets were more expensive but at that point I was just relieved and glad I was able to get my wife and daughter on the plane. I will never ever use Cheapoair.com again!

The customer representative could not correct the problem so it took about 30 minutes of my time for nothing.     Tony, the original charges went through for the 2 tickets, but when you called back and make changes, the first reservation was canceled, but that charge will stay pending for a couple of days but will fall off. But you still had to pay for the new booking that you made, so basically the first charge will drop off and you are only charged for 1 reservation for two tickets.

    I will never use this service again, ever. I bought the tickets for my parents through this website. After a couple hours I got a call from CheapOair call-center, girl on the phone asked me if I wanna do seats reservation, and she told me that it’s gonna cost 200$. I told her, "No, thanks." But, she did it anyway without my permission. They withdrew money from my bank account. When I called them to find out how could that happened, they transferred me from one person to another. I’d been on my phone for an hours first time. They told me, "Wait a couple hours. We call you back." But nobody called me back. I called them second time and I’d been on the phone for hour again, and the girl told me that supervisor called me in one hour. And guess what, it’s been 2 days today. He never called me back and return my money. What the rip off.

    This company is absolutely HORRIBLE! I do not see how they have the 4 stars that they have. Very unprofessional, inconsiderate, and unorganized. They have taken up to $700 out of my account to tell me later that the hotel is not available and that the price went up for the hotel. They told me so many different things that I don't even know what to believe. I was on Hold for at least an hour at a time, and when I finally spoke with a supervisor she was utterly rude and told me to be professional when I was voicing my concerns about my money. Long story short, I am out of $700 and do not have a flight or hotel, or not even a refund. PLEASE DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.     I purchase a round-trip through CheapOair for my mother from Fort Lauderdale to Puerto Rico and back. When I looked at the details of the trip, it said she was leaving Fort Lauderdale with JetBlue and returning with JetBlue, but after I paid the itinerary change and said she's leaving with JetBlue coming back with Spirit Airlines. Today she was supposed to fly back but Spirit Airlines did not allow her to get on the plane, My mother is an elderly person and it's really sick and they made her sit down for 2 hours and did nothing. I called CheapOair to see how can they fix this and they believe the airline did not believe a word I said, their solution to this problem was to give me $8 refund and some sort of discount card valid for the next 90 days for 25 or $30. If Anyone ask me for information where to book a flight I will never never recommend CheapOair. Thank you for your horrible service. Oh and had book another flight.

    I have used CheapOair several times to book airline tickets and have had good experiences. Just today (7/14/18) I went on their website looking for some airline tickets for April 2019 and they had many Jetblue flights listed with great prices. Therefore I went ahead to try to book. When I tried to book many different flight options, each time it came up with the response "The flight you selected is unavailable! Somebody else grabbed the last seat on the plane." This came up about 10 times with several different flight options picked.

    I began getting suspicious and called Jetblue directly. I called the Mosaic line for Jetblue because both my husband and I are Mosaic and with that you receive perks that not all customers get. After about 15 minutes on the phone with the Jetblue Mosaic agent and her attempts to get me tickets, she said she was not able to book that far out because those tickets have not been released yet. I told her I had found many Jetblue flight options for my dates on CheapOair's website that any one could currently book. The Jetblue Mosaic agent found that very strange because she who worked for the airline could not even get access to those flights.

    So I proceeded to call CheapOair.com and see about flight tickets. I informed the agent of what was going on and told him what was going on with their website and that I had already spoken to Jetblue directly and they informed me that tickets for April 2019 were not yet available and she was baffled at how CheapOair could have their flights advertised if they are not yet available. After a few minutes of explaining to the CheapOair agent, he took my phone number down and said he was going to go call the airline directly to see if he could find me some tickets and if he did he would call me back. Yeah right. Good luck buddy!!! I am not stupid!!! I did not receive a callback! Um Duh, the tickets aren't available yet!!! I believe CheapOair is false advertising here and this is wrong.     When booking my flight for a family trip, I noticed they tried charging me extra fees to pick my seat. The fine print says the airline is NOT charging this fee but the agency is charging if you choose your seats, therefore I decided NOT to choose my seats. I made the purchase and then got a call from someone within minutes with an Indian accent telling me they noticed I am traveling with a large group and that I didn't select my seats and gave some BS about me being a long time customer so he will just pick my seats for me so that I can sit with my family and then added in at the end for a fee of roughly $15 per person or something. I was, "What? You're charging me extra?" He said whether or not I chose my seats he was going to charge me this fee. I've purchased flights from them before and was taken aback by this. I wasn't going to pay this fee because this sounded ludicrous.

    He was very insistent and said this was a mandatory fee and says he has to charge me. Because I was so resistant he said he would talk to his supervisor to get it discounted to only $10 per person instead. He said whether or not I pick my seats he was going to charge me the fee. I hung up the phone and called in to speak to another representative.

    While waiting to speak to someone I went directly to Alaska Air and saw that I was able to pick my seats directly with them for the same price without any extra fees that they were charging me. I got a hold of someone from CheapOair and they said the person I spoke to charged me extra fees to select my seats. I told them to cancel everything because I just felt scammed. The guy told me he would cancel the extra fees... I would prefer to cancel everything and book directly with Alaska Air at this point but they said they would charge me to cancel my flight. I'm just keeping my flights but they wasted an hour of my time on the phone etc. Save your headaches and don't use CheapOair. Scummy and Scammy!

    This issue is resolved last friday night.

    I spoke to another agent after few hours, This time he also said the same thing.

    I asked a simple question, who is responsible for this issue, He genuinely accepted it is a technical issue and then he spoke with his supervisor and provided multiple options.

    1. He can make the name correction on the ticket. (This option was not guaranteed by the previous representative) .

    2.He can cancel the ticket without any cancellation fee if we can book the another ticket through them.

    Since I already purchased the same ticket through another medium, he agreed to cancel the ticket without the cancellation fee.

    He cancelled the ticket and initiated the refund process.

    I realized that I spent 1 hour on call with him to get this resolved. This could have been much easier if I spoke with this guy first.

    I would ask CheapoAir to educate every agent and ask them to talk politely with customers.

    I booked two tickets through CheapOair website just few minutes back. I was going through the booking confirmation and I saw the middle name is displayed as NONE. I left the middle name as blank while booking the tickets. So I immediately (within 5 minutes) called the customer support and reported the issue. They have given two options. 1. They will work with airlines after 24 hours to remove the NONE from the name. But they did not guarantee that the airline will change the name. Also they said Airline is very strict and they will never change the name of the traveler. 2. They can cancel both tickets, but they will charge $25 for each ticket as a processing fee.

    The emails whatever I got from the CheapOair shows only the First Name and Last Name and there is no "NONE" middle Name. But NONE is displayed only in the Ticket. I am wondering how that would happen. It's not my fault. I explained everything to the customer support, but they did not do the free cancellation. They charged $50 in total for both tickets. I paid $50 unnecessarily. And wasted my time and energy. Please take the action on this.

    I booked a flight, hotel, and car. I then had to cancel the reservation within 15 minutes of booking it. I was assured I would not be charged "booking" fees. The policy is a refund takes 10-15 days. When I reviewed the refund, I noticed the booking fees were not returned. It was a mess! I called the billing office and had to talk to the hotel billing, car billing, and flight billing office. The refund is broken into so many categories that you better do the math... they do not refund all your monies. This is a scam! I will never use them again!

    It's bad enough that when we got to the airport we were told we'd been bumped to a later flight. But when the first flight took off, all of our itinerary was wiped out. Both ways. CheapOair gave me no help. Thank goodness British Airways got us another set of flights there & Aer Lingus got us home. I will never, ever use CheapOair for any reason.     I purchased a rental car from CheapOair on 03/19 for $248.33 to be obtained from Fox/Auto Europe. I arrived on 05/31 in Los Angeles to pick up my rental car, but was told I needed to make a $400 deposit to get it. I wasn’t told this beforehand. I told them I would have the money by midnight, when I got my paycheck, but they still wouldn’t let me get the rental car. I then called CheapOair to have them cancel the rental car and book it with another rental car company (Advantage). They said it was non-refundable, which wasn’t explained to me before either. The rep from CheapOair said he put in a case with the rental car company (Fox/Auto Europe) to try to get a refund, which he couldn’t guarantee. He didn’t give me a case number either, which I’m sure he lied about even sending the rental car company an email pleading my case.

    If I’d known about the $400 deposit ahead of time, I wouldn’t have chosen Fox/Auto Europe for my car rental. For Advantage, I paid CheapOair $54.34 on 05/31 over the phone and was told I’d pay $46.61 to Advantage totaling $100.95. When I got to Advantage, on 06/01, my car rental was actually $137.41, so CheapOair had the incorrect amount once again. The total amount that I am seeking from CheapOair is $302.67. So far they’ve given back to me $37.19 for the fees. Those fees don’t add up to anything I paid. What a scam!

    I have booked several flights via travel sites (Priceline, Expedia, Travelocity etc). But CheapOair has proved itself to be the worst - should have known looking at the name. When I initially booked my reservation with them, my bank blocked the transaction (I should have seen that as a sign) - CheapOair called me within 30 seconds to get a new card and process that charges. 2 days later, I realized there was an issue with the name and called them to change it. I have been working with them for the past 3 weeks and one week left for my travel, they still have not resolved it. And the customer service rep is saying, they do not have control over the department that oversees these changes!!! They are eager to take your money, but not provide any service. Stay away from this site. Spend that little you might save with them and get your peace of mind back.

    I purchase a flight on CheapOair recently. After 2 days, I discovered that my last name has appeared twice on the itinerary and contacted CheapOair for my name to be corrected on the itinerary. They suggested me to email the request to their Waivers team, however they cannot guarantee if the waivers request will be honoured as it depends completely upon airlines’ approval. I am very disappointed that this request has not been actioned or rectified with the Airline as soon as the matter was raised with CheapOair and up until now no one in CheapOair could provide an update on the name correction status.
