My wife and I booked a flight home to Canada from Bali with CheapOair. Huge mistake! They are very good at taking your money but are terrible if you need any assistance after you book. We selected and paid for seats online for the grueling 20 hour flights from Bali to Victoria. When we received our email confirming our seats we were not seated together and my wife had been placed in a center seats on all flights! To add insult to injury they charged us for the center seats my wife received! We have been in contact with a Cheapo web chat in Australia (12 hour time difference Bali to New York so they were not open).
This 30 minute "chat" with Cheapo was a total waste of time. They suggested we call Air Canada ourselves! We called Air Canada, but they said "If you book through Cheapo you have to obtain your advance paid seats from Cheapo...you are better off booking with us as we can assist you directly and there is no price difference". Now the plane is nearly Full...only center seats left and we are screwed. STAY AWAY FROM THIS TERRIBLE TRAVEL SERVICE!!

I got an email notice and called the 800 number provided in my email to CheapOair regarding seats was not being purchase, but then it was closed due to eastern time difference. I then called another 800 number that was on my booking printout and was glad to get a representative guy on the phone and I explain about the seating issue then he put me on hold to check on something and then was disconnected. I called the same number again and got a woman rep. and she was extremely helpful and got my seating assigned and answered all my questions helping looking up luggage check-in and carry-on policy with United airline, gave me United's cust. ser. phone number and she was very patience and helpful to me.

I bought a ticket for my dad but wasn’t able to make the online check-in. So when he presented himself to the airline the flight wasn’t booked. He had to buy a new ticket that cost more than 600 Euros. I've been trying to contact the company ever since to get my money back and have absolutely no answer or reply, the contact number is fake. The e-mail they give you online was never answered. I don't know what to do anymore. I'm seeking for legal advice.

I tried to book a flight but when I booked the website hadn’t updated and the seats were no longer available. The minute this happened I had some person calling me from CheapOair and she basically pushed me to book another flight and didn’t mention that this flight DIDNT include check in luggage, whereas the one I was trying to book did include it.
She took forever to do the booking, didn’t mention it at all then not until after the booking was done did I see there was no checked bags. My booking was for 4 people... When I tried to cancel because it would’ve cost me another $600 for checked baggage for 4 people they wanted to charge me $350 to cancel ($75 per person) even though it was completely the woman on the phone's fault. Scammers. ** service. Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere.

Twice I went through the booking process with CheapOair. Each time when I pay they say the flight is sold out but then try to give you a fair higher than the one listed. The first booking was $3000 then they come back and listed another airline at $5800. I went online. Found lower fares. Do not be suckered.

Be careful with CheapOair customer service. I wanted to change a name on a ticket, and they said they had to cancel and rebook. Upon rebooking, they said there was a $93 charge to change the name. I protested, and he said he would look for a "discount". Afterwards, he said he got me a discount to $50 to change the name. I reluctantly said this was okay. Just before hanging up, he added in as an afterthought that the new ticket comes with an extra perk of baggage protection.
Later I looked at the receipt on the website and he had charged $10 rebooking fee and $40 baggage protection fee. I had to call again to get this baggage fee removed. In short, he sold me a $40 baggage protection fee by lying and saying the charge was for changing the name. Beware because their customer service agents try to scam you. They must be compensated based on how many extras they sell you.

On 1/21/19, I made roundtrip flight reservations from Portland, ME to Orlando, FL on Frontier Airlines (CheapO Air Booking# **, Airline Confirmation **). I purposely chose a later return flight option (at greater expense) departing Orlando at 8:00AM. I also paid for our baggage at the time I made the reservation. I followed the link on the site for baggage costs - $30 for the first checked bag and $35 for a carry on, if purchased at the time of the ticket purchase.
Once the tickets were purchased, my husband reserved our car rental on 1/27/19 for a total cost of $892.72, with a booking prepayment of $713.89 (car confirmation# **). In the ensuing weeks following the reservation, I received two "changes" to the flight schedule, the first one moving the return flight time to 7:00AM (2/28/19) and then another change (3/6/19) to 6:39AM. So, in effect, we are now departing Orlando at approximately the same time as the earlier flight that we did not want that was offered at a cheaper rate when I made the reservation, but there has been no price adjustment for the inconvenience. I believe this is what is called a “bait and switch."
Next, what I didn't notice on the updates until later were three things: increased baggage fees charges, a mysterious "enhanced baggage service" fee (which was not broken out to say what is included but I know I did not purchase any enhanced baggage service!), and finally the car rental information was completely wrong. The confirmation said that we owed a total of $1,434.09 for our car rental, when in fact we had rented a car for $892.72, of which we had already prepaid $713.89, which left a balance due of $178.83 (car confirmation# **). The breakdown on the the baggage fees that was sent with the CheapOAir confirmations was for $140.00 for two checked bags roundtrip, when it should have been $120.00 (at $30 each as posted on the Frontier Airline baggage costs link).
At this point, I decided to call Customer Service to straighten things out. I got a woman who was extremely difficult to understand and after an hour, had not helped in any way but just kept saying “I am so sorry...” In frustration, I finally hung up, but then a supervisor called back. I went through the whole thing again, asking about the increased baggage fee for the checked bags, the “enhanced baggage service” fee charged and the car rental problem. The supervisor explained that CheapOAir always charges a surcharge on top of the baggage fees listed; however, that piece of information was not apparent or clearly identified anywhere during the time I was selecting flights on the Frontier Airline site or on the link that described the baggage costs.
The Supervisor never explained what the “enhanced baggage service” fee was all about, but offered to refund $30 - to date we have seen no refunds. Also, since the “enhanced baggage services” fee was lumped in with “Taxes and Agency Fees”, I still do not know what the actual charge was and what that mysterious service included. The supervisor apologized for the error in the car rental confirmation information. While speaking with the supervisor on 3/15/19, suddenly an email appeared in my inbox with a reservation confirmation from Frontier Airlines which also included a breakdown of the baggage costs.
This was the first time we had received a confirmation from Frontier Airline - all the previous confirmations and flight changes and car rental charges came from CheapOAir. What is still not clear is the $210.00 charge for “Options” beneath the cost of the Airfare of $372.10 and the Taxes and Carrier-imposed fees of $181.00. for a total of just the airline portion of $763.20. The “options” charges are not broken out so there is no way to know what they are referring to. If enhanced baggage service is included in those charges, then it is something I did not ask for. The charges for the baggage in the email received on 3/15/19 were broken out for the first time at $35.00 a bag, regardless of whether it was the first checked bag or a carry on, and not what was advertised on the Frontier website when I made the reservation.
All in all, it has been an unpleasant, confusing and frustrating experience that has been filled with obfuscation, both in the emailed confirmations and with the 'not so much' help from “customer service.” CheapOAir is not so cheap, once you begin to uncover the hidden, unexplained costs and multiple changes to the flight schedule. I would not recommend flying through CheapOAir to anyone in the future.

I booked a flight to take my boards exams. I received two emails telling me my flight time was changed, once to a time I could barely make if I rushed through my exams, the other for the same time my exam was BEGINNING that I absolutely could not make. I called. I emailed. I chatted with someone who obviously did not speak English and kept calling me sir (I'm a girl). I called the airline directly and they said I had to go through this company. They told me I could accept the flight time changes or cancel my flight and lose my money because it was non-refundable.
I am 8 months pregnant and I have 3 other children at home and finals the following day. They have done nothing to help me and now it looks like I'll be driving because the boards exam cannot be rescheduled or refunded. They also charged me twice for my hotel when I booked it the same day as my flights in February and I have complained, emailed, called, chatted and not received a refund. The absolute worst company I've ever worked with. 10/10 would NOT recommend.

I recently booked round trip air tickets with CheapOair to Vancouver for a cruise. The cruise had to be canceled because of a personal reasons. I then had to cancel my air tickets and understood that there would be fees because of cancellation. I tried to rebook my tickets for a one way flight to Quebec from New York for my wife and I. They said I had a $1050 credit but when I tried to use my credit the price of the one way Quebec ticket was more money than the round trip ticket to Vancouver.... both originated in New York...
I feel CheapOair tried to rip me off... and when asked how could tickets be that expensive they gave some ridiculous answer that just didn’t make sense...! Maybe part of the reason was that just about everyone I spoke to had such an accent that we was very difficult to understand and make sense about what was going on.... take it from me. Stay away from CheapOair...!
This can be correct, one way tickets are usually more expensive, the airline price it this way to prevent people from buying round trip tickets and not using the other portion and leaving a seat vacant that they could have been sold. Nothing that us a travel agency can control.

El Cheapo Air have a best price guarantee. We booked these flights and did not realise that their prices were $5,956 USD for 4 people to fly to Bangkok which is $8,700 NZD. Imagine our horror when, first of all we saw the NZD price hitting our MasterCard statement. Then, we realised that the same flights were available on Thai Airlines and if we had booked direct on Thai Airlines, we could get the same flights for $7,160 NZD - we save $1,540 NZD. Never book on El Cheapo Air without checking the airline prices direct.
When I went back to them and tried to find out what the best price guarantee was, they referred me to PRICE DROP ASSURANCE TERMS & CONDITIONS - "Price Drop Assurance is an opt-in service in which you authorize us to look for additional savings on airline ticket(s) that you booked with us, which we then share with you in the form of a CheapOair gift card. We will also retain a portion of the savings as a rebooking fee for providing this service."
So if you realised, within 24 hours, that it is cheaper to book direct with the airline, they give you a gift card but only if you have PAID even more to have this happen. Their terms and conditions specify 'Most of our airline tickets are 100% non-refundable.' Meaning once you find out the website is a complete rip off, then if you cancel the flights, you get nothing back from El Cheapo Air. Be VERY CAREFUL - they have spent a lot of money on their search engines to make sure it comes up first in every search with an Australian domain name. VERY SAD AND UNFAIR.
Customer never contacted us to ask about the Best Price Match that we offer. If you find a lower fare within 24 hours of booking we will try and match it, or will refund your ticket. Also, she did book on our .com site instead of our Australian site. But you can also change the currency on our page if you prefer to be charged in another currency.

I purchased tickets on CheapOair.com website for Spirit Airlines thinking it was round trip but it was only one way. When I realized I had made a mistake I immediately called CheapOair customer service to ask for a refund. First I was told they would charge me $50/person to refund my money. I told their customer service it had only been 15 minutes after I booked the flight! Then I was told they’d talk to their supervisor and was placed on hold for 15 minutes. When the rep returned he said they could refund my money. He never gave me an email or confirmation of refund so I called again later that day. The 2nd rep I spoke with sent a fake refund confirmation to my email address. I have not received my refund to this day. This happened 3/14/2019.

It is really CHEAP as the name suggests, not with the price but with their cheating. They will not tell you the fees when you buy a ticket. It will appear only on the statement after you swipe your card. Then they will not return or cancel the ticket. It could be more than $100. Not worth paying so much! You will find the same ticket elsewhere. Never book your flights from this site.

Shopping online for hours for best price. Definitely CheapOair. We were using two computers to keep information fresh. Ready to book, entered all information. When clicked book...we got a message the airfare had increased by $10 and asked if we were willing to pay it. We agreed to, and continued. Then processing the booking a second time we were informed the tickets were unavailable. At the same time I got 2 text messages informing me our transaction failed. Each with a different reference number along with a phone number to call to complete our reservation. This number is for travel agent. He wasted 1/2 hour of my time at midnight to offer me the same flight for $100 more OR other flights for even more money. NOT HELPFUL AT ALL. BIG O Waste of Time.

Booked overseas ticket through CheapOair. Day of travel flight was canceled due to weather. At airport connected airlines agent helped rerouting the trip to avoid weather affected airports. On the returned day found out an error been made for a connected flight and I was unable to get on the flight. The connected flight was not registered and could not be verified.
I called CheapOair for help to correct the mistake and issues corrected ticket. They kept transferring me from one representative to another. They were rude didn’t offer any help. Blaming me for missing the flight I tried to explain it was not my fault but was the booking process and I was denied getting on the flight. Was very painful attempts to repeatedly explain the situation. They didn’t offer any help just trying to sell new ticket for return. Very irresponsible, unprofessional and extremely difficult to have clear communication. They hang up on me instead of helping their customer. Very bad experience. Was my first and last dealing with them. Do not recommend this company.
The issue here is that you are required to check in 3 hours prior to your flight departure for international travel. Unfortunately this is not what happened. Flight was at 7:00pm but passenger arrived at 5:00pm therefore the airline listed the traveler as a no show. The airline took control over the ticket and also exchanged his outbound coupons, therefore we no longer can make changes to the reservation. This was explained and unfortunately customer was not agreeing with the rules mandated by the individual airline.

I needed to cancel and they said that I had to pay $75 per person to cancel because the protection plan that I purchased is only good for 24hrs. In addition to, they will give me a refund, but I will also have to pay a $200 fee to re-book another flight per person. Crazy right? I found the way CheapOair runs their business is near criminal. I had booked an international flight through them on Air Serbia. A month later the airline cancelled the flight and all flights to the destination for the surrounding days. I was refunded my airfare from Air Serbia, but CheapOair refused to refund 150 dollars for the insurance I purchased. I understood that if I had changed my date of travel or cancelled my trip I would have lost my insurance payment, but the airline cancelled the flight and CheapOair will not refund my insurance payment. So I am paying 150 dollars for nothing and the changes were nothing I had anything to do with. I would have gladly gone on the date that the tickets were booked for. I find this is an unethical business practice- they essentially stole my $150. Based on the way this company operates, I would highly recommend avoiding them.

I need to share my experience when I made an online reservation for a ticket to Ethiopia. CheapOair are deceitful liars: We were late for boarding but they said we need to pay 150$ cancellation fees which is fine. What is not fine is that when we ask to postpone the flight for the day after, they asked for 250$ which is about 70% of the ticket price. Another thing: one time I wanted to cancel the return flight, they said we do not support partial cancellation because it is not supported by the airline agency (so I got 0$ refund). And if I want to reschedule the return flight I need to pay about 350$ which is about 90% of the original whole ticket price.
I wanted to get the story straight so I contacted the airline agency and they contradicted everything they say: "If you did reserve in one of our offices: We would have easily canceled the tickets free of charge. Rescheduling is a lot cheaper than the one charged by CheapOair. We do offer partial refunds (unlike what CheapOair told me)." Liars, Liars and scammers.

On this trip, I had 3 flights to my destination and 3 flights back. On the morning of the trip, I get to the airport at 4 am to find that my 6 am flight had been canceled. I am the only passenger there, as evidently, everybody else had been informed. I called CheapOair. I was on hold with various agents for 4+ hours that morning trying to get a flight so I could at least make my second and third flights. Eventually, they charged me nearly $500 just to make up for my first flight! This was only $200 less than my original ticket roundtrip and back! They said because of the cancelation, they could issue a reimbursement, but I would have to call back again later after my return trip.
Of course, now after calling, it is impossible to get the refund. Also, they took advantage of me being stranded at the airport at 5 am and tacked on $90 worth of fees to my ticket price that I would not have paid had I booked online or through the airline directly. A rep called me almost immediately and said my price had gone up to over 1600. She insisted the price was only 100 higher than my original charge. For those of you keeping track, this is in fact about 700 more than my original cost expectation.
I cancelled the booking after her insistence that I was incorrect about the cost of my trip. Fun fact, the representative also asked that I close my CheapOair browser windows so that there "weren't any conflicts" (?). This seems like a pretty convenient way to remove evidence during a conversation. I thought I had 24 hours to cancel but discovered that their fees were non-refundable. The airline ticket could be refunded within that period but not the several hundred dollars spent booking 7 tickets. I will not use CheapOair again. I have had several issues with them in the past with hidden fees and this time booking several tickets at once really caused the fees to stand out. Don’t use them!
The fees are not hidden and are listed in the terms and conditions. As a travel agency, we do charge a service fee, that is how we run a business. Airlines stopped paying commission to travel agencies since 17 years ago, and many travel agents went out of business, or had to charge a fee to stay in business. I told her I did not wish to select seating and that if we ended up sitting apart it would not be a problem.
If I have paid for a seat why should I pay to select it. Additionally I think that CheapOair needs to be more transparent about this particular area. When I later checked the option online to select a seat the site does not immediately make it know you will be charged. It is not until you select a seat does it give you the price. It seems that it is a money grab and nothing more. I paid for two seats, what is the purpose of paying for what I have already purchased. What is next? Maybe a fee to select where you will put your carry on in the overhead space? I seriously doubt I will ever use this service again and definitely will not refer anyone to this service/site.
Rochelle, you have a reservation on the flight, however, you did not have an actual seat assignment. The airlines charged for pre assign seating so that you can select where you would like to sit, otherwise, it's assigned at the airport and you may not sit with your travel companion, or get an undesirable seat.

I made a vacation package with CheapOair, the next day I received an email to call. Apparently my reservation was cancelled, they cannot say why... They are saying the system automatically cancelled it, but my credit card was charged. They issued me a credit and I was able to make a reservation but because my card was charged already my card was declined. I spoke to CheapOair and they respond that I need to use another card. I explained to them, the reason I am using this card is because I am getting 6 months no interest, and since it was not my fault I should be rewarded 6 months no interest on this card. They refused to agree to my terms. This airline is a bunch a fraud, they do can hardly speak or understand English. I advise to others do not fall trap to this company... Waste of time.

I felt that this website is doing this trick on purpose. Changing the date without asking, without showing it! It is disgusting! I will never ever use it again! Stay away from it. Car rental indicated that my pick up of car was offsite and not at Tampa Airport, as I requested and he verbally confirmed. I am elderly and absolutely did not want offsite on Fowler Avenue.
When I booked agent told me he had 4 cars left at airport and booked one for me. When I called CheapOair, that agent was rude, could not help unless I wanted to pay approx $250 more for my car at Tampa airport!!! I cannot afford that and so am stuck with offsite PU/Drop off. I needed to cancel a booking for a trip I'm not longer taking. I paid an additional amount for my ticket to ensure I was able to cancel-- essentially an "upgraded" ticket. After waiting 30+ minutes to speak to someone when the beginning of my call said that the current wait time was 1 minute and 15 seconds, I was essentially told that if I cancel my flight, I'll pay a $50 fee to cancel it since I'm past a 24-hour window (seriously, paying extra only gives me a 24 hour window?!) and pay a $200 "change fee" when I decide to use my credit from the flight.
Mind you, the flight I booked is a little over $200 to begin with. The customer service representative essentially told me that he suggested I either take the trip, which I already told him I no longer would be doing in the first place, or I lose the $211 altogether. I'm not in a position to lose $211, but I'm also not in a position where I can pay twice the amount for a ticket down the road. I'm not sure what to do at this point and I plan to never again book with CheapOair and would strongly discourage anyone else do so in the future.

Months later and I have never received reimbursement for my original purchase. What I have received is a series of ever more threatening and nasty letters from CheapOair trying to get me to end my dispute. In one email, they said I never responded to their requests for information; however in this email they included all the emails they received from that responded in specific detail to each and every one of their requests. I had a terrible experience with this company: I bought a couple of round trip tickets and paid them. They charged my card, and several days later I received an email telling me there had been some "changes" in my flight. When I read the email I noticed the "change": They had INCREASED the price of my tickets by almost $300.00! When I called the Rep. and told them I had paid the total price (I thought they had made an honest mistake). He immediately replied that the amount I mentioned was not the amount he had on his computer! And that I had to pay the difference in order to get my tickets!
I told him, "If that is the case then I would like to cancel," and he immediately said: "Well your tickets are non-refundable"! So basically they arbitrarily increase the prices, right after they charge your card and they wait several days to notify you about the "changes" so that you don't have the right to cancel! (Since they have the 24 hour cancellation policy!!!) I'M AMAZED THEY'RE STILL IN BUSINESS!

So I asked to cancel and they were saying I have to pay $250 for cancellation fee because I passed the cancellation period by 1 hour due to waiting on the phone for couple hrs. I asked if there are other options and if I could talk to anyone else, but they said no and I will have to wait another 2-3 hours if I wanted to talk to person in charge. I booked an international return flight on Jan 14th from Boston to India. I got the confirmation, e-ticket etc. The World was perfect! A week later, I got a message from CheapOair letting me know there was a change in my itinerary. I called the agency (call wait time ~30-40 min). I was given few options which increased my layover time by 2-3 hrs. I understand it's an international flight. I agreed and confirmed. After a week I got another call, same process: Change of itinerary with additional layover time (3-4 hrs). I was reluctant, but agreed and confirmed. But then, this happened 4 times in last one month. And now the layover time has increased to 8-9 hours each way.
Yesterday I called CheapOair and was told "CheapOair doesn't control the schedule, Airline carriers do, so go talk to the Airlines". Well, I got in touch with the conglomerate - KLM, Air France and Jet Airways. KLM and Air France asked me to talk to CheapOair. Jet Airways did not respond (call wait time is infinite). I see same flight on Google Flights and Expedia but now with higher rates. This morning CheapOair told me there are no seats available in the same class when the flight was booked. "You'll have to accept additional layover option or cancel the ticket." I am traveling next week and now I have to either pay extra money which is 3x the amount I paid a month ago or travel 18-20 hrs extra (?!). Great work CheapOair! The agency does not give any information of the charges done to your credit card, first, when I booked the flight, the initial cost was 252 USD - and after all the fees and charges, the flight ended costing $534 USD, they never confirmed this amount before the purchase ended, they only confirmed a partial amount, and then afterwards they kept charging additional concepts such as "post booking charges" and "Agency Fees", plus the protection plan is useless unless you have a serious medical problem. I also had to cancel this trip due to a personal matter, and the agency made an additional $50 USD charge only for cancelling, despite this, the flight is non-refundable and there is no benefit whatsoever for this ridiculous fee or any benefit for cancellations.
This agency is a FRAUD. I would seriously recommend to any customer to perform the bookings directly with the airline in order to avoid all these hidden fees. The problem is that they have my credit card number and they are able to keep charging additional fees, my bank states that they can not resolve the problem because I actually made contact with the fraudster (the agency).

After checking I noticed I had put my first, middle and last name on the ticket. On my id, I have an initial, not the spelled out middle name, so I called to correct the situation. It was at this time, the agent at CheapOair told me I did not have a reservation because there was not any flight. He went on to explain that the information should have been taken down as that flight did not exist. Also the charge for the flight had also gone from 123 to 140.
After a discussion, he put me thru to cancellation. After spending hours trying to find a flight I could afford, arranging airport pick up, etc I was so let down. If I had not made the call regarding the name change I would have found out at the airport that I did not have a reservation. I am a senior on a very limited budget and had been thrilled to find an affordable opportunity to visit my also senior brother, whom I have not seen in 5 years. I explained the situation to Agent Tyler in cancellations at CheapOair & he was fabulous. He contacted Frontier, kept me on the phone, made it happen for me. He arranged the original flight cost of $123. So I thought I was all done with the hours on the phone, until yesterday.
I was looking over the reservation and noticed the seating icon. Could not open so I called CheapOair again. It was at this point Agent Ethan offered to do the seating for me. I was shocked, once again, to learn about the seating charges. Never again. We asked them why it is not clearly mentioned in the itinerary that it is a non refundable ticket. They simply said we have mentioned in our website most of our flights are non refundable so you need to assume!! We were looking to cancel the reservation within 10 days of booking due to medical reasons which was totally unexpected even to us. We were ready to give the necessary documents. But we are so very very upset with their behavior and their policies. They were clearly fouling us which we are not happy about. The travel agent CheapOair and the Singapore Airlines were misleading with lot of informations on cancellation.
They were not ready to cancel my ticket with full refund which I had requested them with a clear explanation from my side. Lot of miscommunications from CheapOair and the airline. Initially, CheapOair was ready to cancel if the airline was fine. Once we called in the airline, the representatives were telling us the airline is fine with such medical issues and ok with the cancellation with refunds. Later, Singapore Airlines and CheapOair started playing foul plays. Asking us to send the documents related to our case to Singapore Airlines. But Singapore Airlines changed this to, "Send the documents to CheapOair. It has to go through approval bla bla." CHEAPOAIR WAS POINTING TO AIRLINE AND THE AIRLINE WAS POINTING TO CHEAPOAIR. We lost patience after 2 hours of phone conversation and we requested for a conference call with CheapOair and Singapore Airlines to understand what really is happening.
Finally they placed us in a 1 HOUR WAIT ON PHONE TO DISCUSS AND COME BACK WITH A MATCHING ANSWER. This time CheapOair representative from cancellation team changed his own statement which he just said before placing the call on hold. Still they did not put a conference call! They simply said Singapore Airlines is not having the facility to connect to a customer in a conference!!! We were so upset!!! Finally after 15 mins of wait again they connected in a conference. Both the representatives carefully iterated the same bla bla this time. A matching answer this time and said we will cancel your tickets for no refund and "If at all your case is approved" we will give you a refund! But no guarantee!
We were totally upset! 3.5 hours of talking to customer care and each representative giving us different information. Finally our request is not resolved. I spoke with Tajil who was very thorough and made alternate satisfactory arrangements for us, expending very great effort. He was personable and extremely helpful. I then spoke with someone else to try to get seat assignments. He finally said he would give them to us after speaking to his supervisor. He said he would mail confirmation of the seats to me. That was several days ago, and I still have not gotten the confirmations. Would you please email them to me as soon as possible? They were for SAS flights 8722, 944, and 8723. Thank you.

I was in the middle of booking 3 tickets online. However, I wasn't able to select seats. So I called their customer service, hoping that they could solve this problem for me. The rest one and a half hours on the phone was a nightmare for me. The lady said she can help me book the tickets and select the seats. I went through all the information with her, at last, she told me that she wasn't able to select the seats for me. After listening her trying-to-get away explanation, I asked her if I can cancel this booking because I don't want my 2 children sit by themselves. She told me that I have to pay $50 for each passenger if I cancel. This is totally not fair to me. If she told me at the beginning that she couldn't select the seats, I would have gone for other airlines or find something else before booking. Very bad customer service. Will never book from them again.

Could not use discount code for online booking. Asked me if I wanted Travel Assist for $10.95. I said no. Bad connection so agent had to hang up and call back 2 times. Was told he was adding Travel Assist for free. Saw that I was charged $10.95. Chatted online and was credited $10.95 but not given free Travel Assist like I was told I would receive.
Saw online that I was receiving free Flight Watcher because I booked on the phone. Spent 45 minutes on a chat online to find out how I was supposed to sign up. (Your info online said I had to sign up) I was told Flight Assist was not free. I cut and pasted the text for the free offer. Was then told I didn't need to sign up for it, it was automatic. Saw they put me down for regular meal even though I was not asked about it. Called and asked them to change it to vegan. I was told it was changed. The next day it still said any meal. Chatted online and was told they don't do the meal, I have to call Delta. Wasted a lot of my time. Will not be using Cheapoair again.

I purchased a flight on CheapOAir.com, which clearly broadcasts everywhere that they have a 24-hour free cancellation policy. They push this in your face as one of the reasons to book with them. What they DO NOT push in your face is the fact that if you actually need to cancel within 24 hours, they will charge you a $75 cancellation fee. WHAT??? Yeah, you heard that right. Their free cancellation is not so free. Yes, you will get your flight cost refunded AFTER you pay their fee. And you can not cancel your flight with the airlines.
Oh. And they make you call in to cancel the reservation, so you can't modify it online. When I told the customer service rep that the fee wasn't explained on the website, she said that when I was booking, it was all the way at the very bottom in small print. What a HUGE waste of money! Please book elsewhere and ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS read the small print all the way at the bottom that companies don't want you to read.

I've had nothing but a horrible experience of hearing of the restrictions that are in place under this operation and how I have the luxury of calling not only the insurance company that provides the insurance they sell, but the airlines they also sell from. The endless circle of hearing their job description and the restrictions they have in place have been heard for over 5+ hours and I haven't even boarded the plane.
I purchased the Premium support package, the travel assist, and travel protection plan. I was told I could be able to change my flight at anytime, cancel within 24 hours. I was able to confirm that I wanted to fly out, but the return time was questionable. I then purchased the travel protection and while I discovered an unapproved charge on my credit card from some entirely different company, my credit card company had to mail me a new credit card, and in the middle of this - my travel insurance purchase was declined due to the credit card issue. I called to update the payment once my card arrived - but they refused to do this and told me to call the insurance company directly. In the end, I am taking my entire family on a 24 hour flight to another country to see things and not attend what we went for... I am so upset and I can promise that I will no longer contribute to the jobs the customer service people have at this sham of a company.

I purchased 4 tickets to Madrid for the wife and I and daughter and grandson. Purchased the tickets on 11/26/18 for $642.67 ea. Happy with experience. On 2/2/19 I pulled the reservation and printed off my computer. I noticed that my daughter and grandson had an spelling error. One letter mistake. I accept this is my mistake, I had a 24 hr window to check the reservation for errors. I immediately called Cheapoair and asked for a spelling correction. They replied they can, the fee is $210.00 per person for a total of $420.00. I reluctantly agreed. They sent me a confirmation of Itinerary changes and fees and a new booking number. They immediately charged my card for the $420.00. A half hr later he gets back to me and states this cannot be done.
Because of multiple airlines involved the tickets have to be cancelled and reissued. If I purchase the new tickets he will then refund the $420 for the name change and refund $600 of my original purchase price of the ticket. The new ticket price will be $2,000.00 or a net price to me of $1,400.00. Total for the two person name correction of $2,800.00 I told him he must be kidding? He said no, that is the new ticket price. He tried to pressure me, I told him I can repurchase on the web for a little over what I paid. He told me that is my choice but then I will have to pay the name correction fee. I told him He cannot charge me for a service he did not provide. Hung up and called my credit card company and disputed the charge. I have since received a credit of the $420.00 on my card.
I set my papers aside and wanted to tackle this issue after I did more research. On 2/10/19 It was time to get this resolved. Cheapoair purchased my tickets from Finnair. I made three separate phone calls to Finnair and spoke to 3 different representatives. I confirmed that in this instance they are required to cancel and repurchase the new ticket. Finnair's policy is that you pay for the difference in price of when you purchased and today's online price. Todays online price on Finnair for the exact same flights was $829.96. I originally purchased for $642.67 A difference of $187.29 x two tickets for a total of $374.58 That is what I would have paid if I purchased from Finnair. I now call back Cheapoair.
I was very polite, that is just who I am! Greeted the agent, told him I was calling to reissue the two tickets, I saw that Finnair had now had my same tickets for a little over of what I had paid and it is time to get this done. He stated, "Let me look at the current pricing." States the price will be $2000,00 per ticket. I told him that Finnair has the same ones on their site right at this moment for $829.96! He says no they don't, it's $2,000.00. He states that if Finnair had it on their site for that price he would have no problem giving it to me for that. Price is $2,000.00 He would not budge or look at Finnair's website. I concluded this is one of their ways they can legally rip the consumer off.
I ended the call and again called Finnair. Told them what Cheapoair was doing. He stated this is wrong, but Cheapoair can put any pricing they want into their computers. I then went onto Finnair's website and purchased the two tickets for the $829.96 each. I looked it up and Cheapoair corporate office is in New York City. I was a little surprised. I talked to many representatives and they were of Indian accent. I'm 69 Years old and this is the first review I've written. Takes a lot to get me to write a review.

I just completed booking two tickets on their website. Ten minutes later I got a call from them saying that the booking was under review and that if I don't receive the ticket confirmation in the next hour, to call them back. I called them back and they said that they needed further credit card verification. I stayed on the line with them and they even did a three way call with my credit card company. From there they went on to ask the usual security questions, but then it started getting really uncomfortable because they were asking a lot of personal and detailed questions that they did not need to know. They wanted to know my last transaction on my card, my card spending limit, my mother's maiden name, and a lot of other questions that just were not relevant.
I expressed that I was getting very uncomfortable with the line of questioning and the credit card representative also showed concern with the line of questioning. Seeing my concern, they finally agreed that they had completed the verification, only to then call me back and tell me that the verification was not enough to confirm the booking. The amount of the purchase was not a very large amount. I am very disappointed in the amount of time they take to confirm bookings and their customer service is pathetic. With the amount of questions that they ask, it feels like they are just collecting your personal information. They seem VERY shady. I would really beware before buying on their website!!!

So I got my money back from credit card. Now just yesterday Feb 14th one of their representatives phoned me and threatened me that the monies I paid them was nonrefundable and I needed to pay them even tho obviously I won the dispute. So this guy calls my phone like 3x and tells me if I don't settle up with them they would send to collections... How dare them. Now I even before the flight called to pay for my luggage in advance and YUP they took that money as well and even tried to get $75 more from me to get preferred seating. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE USING THIS TRAVEL AGENCY.

Honestly, I realised I booked my flight on the wrong date within an hour of this booking. I then immediately called to cancel so I could rebook my flight on the appropriate date. Surprisingly, CheapoAir charged me $50 for the cancellation of the ticket while the airline itself didn't.
I tried to explain to the first agent but he pretended like he was helping me by holding me on line for some minutes and after came back to tell me that he would need to transfer my Call to the appropriate department that will help. This continue from one agent to another. Funny enough, each and every time my Call was transferred, I would have to begin from the beginning tell the agent of what had happened. I wish I had realised on time that they were all playing with my precious time. I was on line for over an hour.
Finally, the last agent that I spoke with was even worst than the previous but didn't transfer my call but instead he was like very unfriendly and unsympathetic. He just said $50 must be charged on my credit card even if I had booked my flight in less than 5 minutes. Even when I told he that I will book another flight right away on the appropriate date. One nice rep couldn't make a bank withdrawal because she gave the bank the wrong CVC -- didn't understand me, either.
On my side, the wifi on my computer was fading out to almost nothing and I think the dates got mixed up, going off and on. Bad connection at one point of registering.
