    We booked our flights to China for our family vacation with CheapOair. All flights were confirmed and paid for but we were contacted 2 weeks before departure because one portion of our multi-stops flight was canceled. We asked them to help us re-route that portion of the journey; instead they just canceled and refunded our tickets. We had to scramble and rebooked with another company paying almost double for our tickets due to the time constraints. I'll never book anything with them again. FYI, Travel One and CheapOair are the same company.

    I purchased a ticket for my mom to fly out for my emergency surgery and along with the ticket I added the Travel Protection Plan in case I needed to change the flight or cancel it. Turns out I needed to either change or cancel. I called CheapOair to do so and was told my ticket was nonrefundable. I called Trip Mate which is the company in charge of the Travel Protection Plan and was told that I needed to file a claim and wait 30 days for an answer. I said I do not have 30 days to wait for an answer if I get a refund or not because I need the money to purchase a new ticket. They said, "Well we do apologize but you have to wait 30 days and there is nothing we can do." Needless I will never be using either of these two companies. They did thank us for our service to this country so that was nice, but they still could not help us.

    I booked two one way tickets on break from school. The website at time was experience issues. I called in to customer service rep. He was nice. Booked ticket. He explained to me several times I had 24hrs to make any changes. I didn't plan on any changes. As, luck would have it my school posted new schedule next day with dates updated. Yep I had a test on date of my departure. Medical school by the way no way around test. I called well within my 24 hrs as I booked late the previous night. Option was change or cancel. One ticket I paid 130ish and other 230ish. No, I didn't expect a fee as it was not stated and I was within the 24hrs. Easy to assume it's a grace period. To change ticket, both in my case as they coincided. $96 each to cancel $75 each. I ended up pay 75 to cancel a 130 ticket, other words 75 to get 65. My issue is this should have been stated upfront, since I called to book the tickets.

    My first experience with CheapOair. Not a good impression. Should been possible to either waive since first time or at least one fee considering one was a 130 or even lowered fees. It is good to be upfront about this type of fees, in retrospect I may have waited before purchasing preventing my circumstance altogether. Make fees visible. Seems company make more on fees than do in ticket sales. Yes there are many complaints online as stated first time use. Post fees and consider a actual grace period or base fee off of ticket price. Not a good 1st impression. Cannot recommend to other classmates as we all utilize different sites to accommodate our frequent flying needs.

    All went good when I booked my flight. My only exception was not being informed to use complete first, middle and last name as it appears on all my ID. The agent did not mention this rule and accepted my middle initial only. As I read through my e-ticket and info, I discovered the info regarding the above, and called back CheapOair to get this correct before traveling. All agents should be trained and explain this immediately to passengers who are not aware of rules. They also wanted to charge me $99.00 to do the name change, and I immediately asked to speak to supervisor and was assured there would be no charge. This appears to be a scam!!!

    We purchased 6 round trip tickets LAX to Shanghai. Our flight on Hainan Airline has one stop in Xi'an (3 hours). WE called the airline to allow us to stay in Xi'an for a couple of days before we leave for Shanghai. They told us we had to go through CheapOair to make the change. We followed their instructions and agreed to pay $250 per ticket for this change. WE were assured that this will be the total charge. A day later we were charged an additional $150 per ticket by the airline. We have made multiple calls to CheapOair and have spoken to multiple people. No luck on getting anything fixed. They agree that the total cost for making this change is $250 per ticket. They claim they have no idea why the airline has an additional charge. They refuse to find out claiming that the airline does not answer!

    We think they charged us $250 per ticket (150 for the airline and 100 for themselves). However, they charged took the airline share rather than pass it along. A totally polite but dishonest operation. Save yourself the headache and avoid these guys. You are far better served by finding the airfare from CheapOair and buying the tickets from the airline directly. This is a scam! Hope this will help some unsuspecting soul.

    Stay away with this airline. They showed a promo code of $50 in the beginning and refused to honor at the end of online booking. I called them and after waiting for about 25 mins or so a stupid lady said she would look at it and my call was disconnected. I waited for her to call me back (she had my number) as courtesy but no luck. They fish the customers showing fake incentive and don't give it at the end. I would NOT recommend it to anyone.

I called one of the Customer Service numbers - a short wait and a lovely representative - with the patience of Job - assisted me in getting the seats I wanted confirmed my luggage selections and calmed my fears of my on-line activity.     I was flying to Thailand and the company there made a mistake and switched my middle and first name when they booked the ticket. I wasn't allowed on the flight.

    We've been petitioning CheapOair for a refund, but they simply won't respond or have given us the run-around. We spoke with the airline and the told us they were open to a refund but CheapOair has contacted them regarding this. WORST. SERVICE. EVER.

    I was granted a credit of 1400$ but it was not applied through my REBOOKING. I contacted them several times through e-mail and by phones but no one called back as promised? I am angry because they cut the communication while I was on hold.     Updated on 08/01/2019: I booked my ticket through CheapOair for international trip. Due to emergency I want to change the return flight date and after a biggg rude behaviour from the customer service finally I tried to change the return flight after paying a whopping amount of more than $1000 in change fee. When I see my credit card statements Today they charged me 2 times of more than $1000. I tried to get in touch with them and it's been 55 min on Hold with customer service and No Response for them. Big Hassle. I'm going to raise a Dispute with my credit card companies if they do not respond to me. That is the only option I have right now. Please think twice/thrice before booking your tickets with the agency services. Never recommend this to any one.

When there was a change needed in the flight dates they were very rude in looking for the new tickets and charged me a whopping amount for changing the one way flight to USA.     CheapOair changed our flight schedule which has 26 hour layover. When I called them they kept forwarding to different people and each person put me on hold for so long that I stayed on phone for 3:10 (3 hours 10 minutes). I was placed on hold by Aldo, Rudolfo, Seanna, Carson and few other guys whose names I don't remember. At the end they didn't help at all. Very bad customer service.

    I called to book a rental car at Shannon Airport in Ireland. I explained that I would be flying overnight from the US and arriving at 6:20 in the morning. When I received the email confirmation I noticed the pickup time for the car was 7:00 PM, 12 hours after an overnight flight. I called again to change PM to AM and was told the booking would have to be cancelled and a new one created. Counting the time needed for the original booking (and another car in Scotland) plus the error correction I was on the phone for over 2 hours. In addition I was charged more money for the correct booking. This is insane. I won't be using CheapOair in the future.

    Over the years I have used this company for several trips. But this is my last booking with them. You truly can get the same price for your flight(s), BETTER flights and choose your seat selection (most often WITHOUT additional charges) by booking with the airline directly. I found this out when I booked a recent flight to Sulawesi. I booked directly with EVA Airlines and Garuda and got a WAY BETTER airfare and FAR BETTER flights then with CheapOair. (There's a reason that their name is CheapOair!) In addition, with an airline, say like British Airways, you can hold your booking for 72 hours for $20. per ticket (person)! With Expedia you have 24 hours to cancel. With CheapOair, you get NOTHING. But HORRIBLE flights and service!

    I booked our flight to Botswana with them 2 years ago and so thought I would book with them again this time. BIG. BIG. BIG. HUGE mistake! They have us booked with one of the absolute WORST airlines operating in Africa. Air Botswana! Initially I (foolishly) assumed that the flights were the same as our last booking, and it wasn't until I purchased the tickets that I noticed that we were booked on Air Botswana and NOT SA Airlines Airlink. Granted, this was an oversight on my part, but I've received NO ASSISTANCE WHAT SO EVER in resolving this with CheapOair. Big surprise. So...I'm done with ticket consolidators. Specifically CheapOair. I'm not surprised in this day and age that they provide such horrid customer service. Lesson learned.

    I've had a horrible experience with CheapOair. Kayak sent me to them and I didn't realize I was even booking through them, so I'm not happy with Kayak either. I'll NEVER use either service again. CheapOair keeps changing my flights and I'm traveling with a group of 8 people. Now I'm on a completely different plane and schedule with my travel companions. I explained that I was traveling with a group. They didn't seem to care. They wanted me to prove it by providing the travel numbers for each person in the group. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told they didn't have one. Seriously the WORST travel experience I have ever had. I've spent over six hours on hold in three phone calls to try to fix it and it is still not fixed. I want a refund, but from what I've read from other people's reviews, I will get cheated if I attempt to get a refund from them. Please don't make the same mistake that I did. Go directly to the airline.

    I tried to cancel my reservation because I didn’t like the hotel that I chose, but they told me that would be 100 (less 25 for discount) so I wrote a bad review. The company tried two days to contact me and fix the mistake. So they didn’t charge me nothing for the cancellation, now just waiting for the refund from the hotel. And the second representative which I talked was so kind and helpful. Hope don’t have any problem the day of my trip.

    I booked a flight and after booking and paying it said I booked an alternate date. Good thing I caught that otherwise I would have missed my flight. Then when I called about it the customer service was outsourced and I could barely understand the person talking to me. He kept talking over me when I asked for a refund. Then a $25 penalty for cancelling a flight and it was 15 minutes after booking. It was 15 minutes because I had to wait on hold for 14 of it. Terrible. I will never use again.

    Be careful when order true them. They give you booking number and after that they say, "Sorry we can't do this ticket. We can do full refund in one month." = You have no money for a month and no tickets. Yes forgot to tell if you want to talk with customer service check your time, you will need minimum 1.5 hours to do that.

    I tried several times to book my flight online and kept getting error notices. I called the number on the top of the page and got a very nice representative who told me the site was doing a price upgrade. When she typed in all my information the price had increased over $50.00! She was only able to give me a $20.00 discount but I still felt ripped off and told her so. I told her I understood it was not her fault and I had her go ahead and book my flights but I will never use CheapOair again.

    I have used them faithfully for the past 5 or 6 years but I will find a different booking outlet for my future trips and will tell everyone about my experience with CheapOair! I was still receiving promo emails offering lower rates than she was able to quote me all the time she was booking my flights. What a joke! When I get a quote I expect it to be honored without being increased! That's the honest way of doing business and I will not be swindled in such a manner ever again by this company!!! Screwing your faithful and repeat customers is the best way I know of to advertise for your competitors!

    So I'm from Puerto Rico, and we all use both last names (Father's and then Mother's). As I chose my flights through CheapOair, I typed my full name as I do in any legal document and as it appears in my ID (both last names). As soon as finished and purchased the flights, I received an confirmation email. I noticed there was only 1 last name (as it's very common in the US). As I went through each flight I realized they filled out my name wrong as they did the booking. They used my Father's last name as a middle name, and then used my Mother's last name as the only last name. By now it was obvious this would cause an identification problem at the airport.

    So I called CheapOair's customer service. I requested Spanish assistance, as that is my native language. I eventually got to speak with a Spanish speaking representative and it was awful. She was incredibly rude and on top of that, they did not assume responsibility for their mistake. The representative told me that the only way to change/correct my name was through the airlines themselves, as she abruptly hung up the phone. I ended up calling Frontier Airlines and Spirit to fix the issue. Needless to say, It was a huge hassle and it brought unnecessary stress to my vacation. I do NOT recommend CheapOair, it's just awful.

    I booked a flight and hotel for June 9 thru June 19 to see my grandson. I'm a 70 year old grandma. My nightmare started, they changed the date. I complain about a 11:30 min. layover in S. Paulo. Everything you have to pay for. I bought it in May 2, I couldn't board. I called to say what happened and they cancelled the whole deal. Lost all my money. I was going to stay until June 19. Didn't see my grandson, extremely depressed. They are crooks, and all they want is money. So there are a grandma and a grandson crying. For heaven's sake you twist words around. I'm still going to see my grandson, but CheapOair never again!

    These agency is fraud. I booked my flight through them and they charged me extra then what they promised. I had to pay an additional dollar amount for their pathetic service.     Sharing my experience with dealing with cheapoair today. I booked a flight from BWI to Fort Myers for 217.55 which was a good price. After completing my booking and received the email with my flight info, I notice my departure city was changed to DCA. I immediately called JetBlue and they told me since I booked thru a 3rd party it would cost me $50 for them to take it over, so they advise me to call cheapoair. I called cheapoair and spoke with Pedro, nice guy, he checked and told me they changed it because when I booked the flight and checked “Non-Stop” they auto changed it to DCA because they don’t have a “NON-Stop” flight leaving from Baltimore (BWI). He tried to find me something else but was unable and price increase.

    Anyways, I told him to cancel the flight, he then told me it’s going to cost me $25 to cancel, can you imagine. I cancelled with 20 mins and they charged me $25 to cancel something they screwed up. This is a classic BAIT and SWITCH tactics. WARNING TO EVERYONE OUT THERE, Don’t do business with CHEAPOAir. They’re unscrupulous. I eventually went to SOUTHWEST WHO I CAN DEPEND ON. Never again will I do business with cheapoair. I will be blocking them from even coming up on any of my flight search and blocking them from my email.

    Please do not use the company under any circumstances. Got the names worn on the reservation. Tried to change this within 4 hours of booking. I was told that I would either have to pay over $1000 to re-book the flight or a cancellation fee of $225. The customer service agent was rude and not helpful.     I will never book with guys ever again. I purchased the insurance for peace of mind and when I tried to cancel I was told I could not only if there is a medical emergency and tickets were nonrefundable. Then when I looked at my flight 0 luggage. Only carry on. I had to pay extra with airline to take luggage. Very misleading (must read fine print before booking). You lost a future.     For a one ticket round trip flight of $550 they make you pay an additional $400 to either cancel/reschedule your flight. I would not ever buy from this site again, their "travel protection plan" is no protection at all! Unhelpful, slow responses, very expensive if anything happens.     I reserved a car for the airport in Casablanca Morocco. I chose Avis as a car company because they said they had an office in the terminal. I fully paid for the car however when I got there, Avis did not have any records of the rental. I was directed to a local company that had a car parked two blocks away from the airport. The car had no gas and had broken mirror. The car did not have any tire caps. I reported that to CheapOair And their unfortunate response was that they gave me a $20 credit on my five day reservation. That has been a very bad experience and I will never use them for that.

    We family of 5 people. We travel every year 3 time multi cities all international. We bought this time thru CheapOair and all that we have is bad experience. One airline cancelled our flight from Moscow to Istanbul and moved us 2 days forward. CheapOair want us to contact the airline which we did and the airline told us to go back to the agent CHEAPOAIR. We end up buying new tickets with extra money from Expedia and will be refunded after 90 days from CheapOair. We paid extra money for extra luggage when we bought the tickets. CheapOair said it's only for the first destination. First destination was free regardless because it's international flight and you allowed 23 kg, so we lost that money too. CheapOair is a scam in some hidden areas. The Min waiting time to speak to someone is 3 hours.

    Updated on 09/25/2019: I purchased round trip ticket from Milwaukee to DFW and return - American Airlines canceled the flight connecting from Chicago to Milwaukee. I tried to reach this company for 2 + hours for connecting flight - finally ended up getting a ticket from United Airlines. The supervisor did call me back this week and American refunded $55 on the canceled flight but the United flight cost me $292.00 - No one could book this connecting flight from Chicago to Milwaukee at CheapOair and I kept on being transferred to "a supervisor" - no ever picked up - This is the responsibility of CheapOair to reimburse this flight - not United Airlines - So my suggestion - don't attempt to contact these people after you purchase a ticket from them.

    If you purchased "insurance" make sure you get some sort of confirmation number because the insurance I did purchase was never sent to the appropriate department - I had to prove I purchased the travel insurance - CheapOair did refund that $21.00. Either way, I suggest another travel company - this has been going on since July 6.... Not resolved, won't be resolved.

    Original review: I purchased a round trip ticket ($ within reason) from DFW to Milwaukee WI. The AA FLIGHT was delayed 4 times. Got a text that I would miss connecting flight from Chicago to Milwaukee. Attempted to call CheapOair... 4 hours... no one answered calls that could help with change of connecting flights. Was told I had to purchase ANOTHER ticket for connecting from Chicago to Milwaukee, $267.00. I purchased insurance. They told me it wasn't there even though I showed them proof of the charge on my card. They will not reimburse me for that connecting flight. They offered me a $20.00 goodwill gesture. Really? I felt the first initial call when being placed on such a lengthy hold was getting authorization on my Visa card and then receiving an email receipt when I thought I was all set.     I booked a flight and the booking was made final at 1:21am. I booked at $397.00. Only 8 hours later the flights dropped on prices. I get the email address to their "PMP" team. I get a email back that the information I provided didn't qualify. They give specific instructions. I follow the instructions to get an email back that it still didn't qualify. How do you figure I sent the screenshot with the matching website and link... I call CheapOair again at 4pm. A representative assures me that someone is going to call me. I've called 4 days straight with no resolution. Finally I speak to a "supervisor" and I ask for the corporate office information. He doesn't know who oversees "pmp". He doesn't have a phone number for their office, etc. I still have not received resolution to this matter.     I am so grateful for the amazing trip we had to Portugal! But this is my Public Service Announcement! It was my first time booking with CheapOAir and it will be my last... We got the ticket for about $50 less than other websites.. What they fail to tell you is that the discounted tickets that you just bought does not allow checked luggage even on international flights and you will have to pay $120 dollars per suitcase both ways! This is so deceitful because I didn’t think to ask this because when talking to the agent and booking tickets and traveling with family internationally I assumed checked in luggage was allowed.. like every other flight I have ever taken! I booked these tickets on the phone with the agent and he did not tell me this..

    When I called them the day we were leaving because I thought the website was glitchy when we checked in..     I am a platinum member but my time on hold to do a cancellation was 3 transfers and 1 hour 18 minutes. Still could not confirm. Said they would call back but did not. Yesterday I called and waited 22 minutes BUT finally got a rep that knew what they were doing. He got the flight cancelled and a refund done. He also booked seats on our new flight to Edinburgh.     CheapO is anything but cheap! They slip in all sorts of fees and mislead the customer. I was booking a flight to Florida when they presented me with a choice of service levels. All but the "basic" level charged a fee. Thirty minutes after I booked the flight, I needed to cancel for personal reasons. When I was in the process of booking the flight the website said you could cancel at no cost within 24 hours. When I tried to cancel, they wanted to charge me a cancellation fee. When I called customer service (it took 30 minutes to get through), they said that I had to pay to sign up for "premium service" in order to cancel for free. The airline I was flying on would allow me to cancel for free, so I was paying the penalty to CheapO! Bottom Line: GO RIGHT TO THE AIRLINE SITE to BOOK and avoid CHEAPO.

    Good: we received a good price from CheapOAir and so we booked a trip from the USA to Taiwan to Abu Dhabi (stop in Thailand) back to USA. Bad: Regarding a layover in Thailand - While we were traveling to Abu Dhabi from Taipei, we had a 1 hr 15 min layover between international flights. Our plane landed and parked on the tarmac requiring a bus to the international terminal. By the time we deplaned, rode a bus to the terminal, went through a secondary security check and arrived at the airline counter, we were informed we were too late to make the flight (we were hurrying). We called CheapOAir right away and the advice given was "there's nothing we can do, you missed your flight".

    We were now stuck in Thailand with the ticketing agent telling us there was room on the next flight, CheapOAir telling us we were at risk of losing our flight home from Abu Dhabi to the US and the airline saying they could get us on the next flight for hundreds of dollars per person. Long story short, the airline offered a price which was hundreds less per person for the flight from Bangkok to Abu Dhabi than CheapOair could offer so we decided to save hundreds and go directly with the airline. Our continued complaints to the airline kept directing us to CheapOAir for a solution who would not acknowledge our issue. The reason given that directed the fault our way is that each airport provides a "minimum connecting time" which seems to be 1hr 15 mins for the particular airport in question.

    We made it to the connecting airline transfer desk 45 minutes before the flight and were informed we were too late to make the flight (even though our bags would have made it per the ticketing agent). We had essentially 15 minutes to deplane, take a bus from the tarmac into the terminal, pass through an x-ray security check and arrive at the transfer desk. This was our frustration. By the time we set foot in the terminal, our window of time had vanished and it costed over a thousand dollars out of pocket to preserve the rest of our trip. Never book a flight with a layover time set at the "minimum connecting time" for an airport is the lesson we learned the hard way. Always leave a bigger cushion especially if your airline requires you to check in inside the terminal at the transfer desk 60 minutes before a flight.

    I have booked many times with CheapOair for flights within Canada feeling reassured if there was a significant price drop I would be honoured with the lowest price. On June 16 I booked a flight and received an email confirmation. Within 45 minutes I received a promo email from CheapOAir showing that the flight was reduced by over $200!! I called customer service and they referred me to a different department who said “we match price only with our qualified competitors”. That meant they were unwilling to match the price because it was an internal (CheapOAir) price drop. That is NOT good customer service as only 45 min had passed.

    I have not used CheapOair for a long time. I am going on vacation and decided to try them by purchasing tickets. After the tickets were purchased I received a call to confirm and they asked if I wanted to pay for seat selections quoting me a price and offering me a coupon. The lady said that I could use the coupon for any purchase airfare or hotel. I tried to use it and couldn't. I called and asked about it and was told that it would only be used on certain flights and I would have to call the hotel to find out if they accept it. Which is why I asked prior to.     I am an international student in USA. I made the reservation from SFO to NJ day before my journey. I tried to check in for my trip where it asked to pay for both check-in and carry on bags. They didn't mention about it while booking. I am ok to pay for both bags. I made the reservation for the entire journey from SFO to NJ with CheapOair but they made two separate reservations for two connecting flights which made me pay twice for the baggage for single journey.     CheapOair staff could not manage to get our seating options correct and we were unable to get it corrected. On a round trip ticket, we wanted to upgrade our seats to aisle seats, but CheapOair clerk mistakenly booked our return leg so we could not upgrade. MAINCABIN, but not upgradable. It's a six hour flight and my wife requires frequent access to the restroom, so this restriction will make our flight very uncomfortable for her. CheapOair's supervisor Glenn sent me to AA to get upgraded and they did say they would pay for the aisle seat cost, but the ticket is non-cancellable and non-upgradable.

    AA says CheapOair is responsible for mistakenly changing the ticket. I called CheapOair back and was placed on hold for 20 minutes. I am not giving up on them. I spent 4 hours over two days on the phone talking to badly accented CheapOair staff and got nowhere. Apparently CheapOair uses long telephone wait time to defeat listener's complaints. I have booked with CheapOair multiple times over the years, but I've had it after this experience.

    The class of service was basic economy the cheapest fare, upgrading to the next fare would of cost you additional money, in the long run whether it was for ticket cost, or the seat cost. Letting the agent know ahead of time that you want a more expensive ticket because seats are important to you.     I booked round trip Abu Dhabi-Calgary. While trying to check-in for my Lufthansa flights Calgary-Frankfurt and Frankfurt-Abu Dhabi, Lufthansa and Air Canada (Operator of the flight from Calgary) sites did not accept the check-in. After more than 30 minutes online chat, the CheapOair rep informed that I needed to check-in at the airport as the flights were not being operated directly by Lufthansa. It means that I cannot reserve/select my seats, and also cannot request special meals. It is distressing while keeping in mind the 16h 40m travel time. Disappointed to say the least.

    I give a call to CheapOair to reserve my seat number and I requested a window seat for all my four flights. He said I gave you all window seats. During the call I asked him to give me a seat number so I can double check its window seat or not, he said to me that "yes all are window seats and I already sent you an email". However, after disconnecting the call, I check my email to verify the seats, and I am shocked. He gave me only 2 window seats and the other 2 are in the middle. He basically lied to me. CheapOair betrayed their customers. They think that customers are a fool, they will not check the information. This is an unbelievable customer service.

    If they don't have a window seat, they can simply say that sorry we do not have window seats but they can't say I gave you window seats just to hang a call. Incident doesn't stop there. I gave a call to CheapOair right after I come to know about this. I waited for 10 minutes before I reach out to the customer service department. I explained the incident to a guy and he told me that "my supervisor will help me out, can I put your call on hold for 3 to 5 minutes?" I said, "Ok, no problem". You believe or not I waited on hold for 1 hour 32 minutes and 45 seconds, at last auto-response says that thank you for the call, please stay on the line to give us a feedback regarding this call. And right after the call was disconnected.

    Hey CheapOair, what should I do? I will definitely not use your service anymore. Let me tell you this, I already used your website for my and family's several trips. But you know what, CheapOair will no longer hear from us, and I will post this horrible everywhere so people can move to the other before they experience anything like this in the future.

Just before 10 hours when I supposed to board the flight they called me and said the flight is rescheduled by one hour later than the first set time. I accepted that. Now when I am in India they sent me another email saying another changes which more than 8 hours later than original time.     I have been dealing with CheapOair for the past week. I had to cancel my entire summer vacation I booked for my son that is disabled. I received notice from his doctor that due to his condition he cannot travel. I received a refund for the Hotel that was not refundable and the car, however they REFUSE to give me my refund on my flight that has been supported by Medical Documents!!!     Absolutely the worst! They lied about ticket cost when you call them. They double book seats so you are charged twice. They refuse to change tickets. Say the airlines won't allow it.     I was unaware my middle name had to be included on my boarding pass. I called to have this added. CheapOair was demanding a 75.00 PER TICKET to make this change. It was not an issue of if it could be changed; it was a matter of PROFIT. I then called American Airlines directly and spoke to a very pleasant representative that added our middle names while I was on the phone.     Bought a ticket 11 months in advance (we travel every 3-4 months so this is just what we do). CheapOair said the flight had canceled in March (flight suppose to be in May) and we were forced to buy another ticket on another airline for over 1100$ more. On the day we depart back to Saudi we see that our “canceled flight” was still there, and to make it worse, BA just canceled our flight two hours before departure. I almost lost my business seat (which 24 hours back to Saudi it’s horrible) and somehow within seconds of boarding I got a business seat back. Went through three flight cancellation with BA that day (Monday, June 24th). Not sure if it’s more CheapOair that we are so disappointed in or BA. All we know is that it was the worst experience we have ever had and we fly 3 to 4 times internationally every year.

    I called CheapOair about 30 minutes after my flight was booked because it would not allow me to pick me seats once I paid. I thought I had purchased main cabin seats but turns out I purchased saver seats and they just don't tell you that. When I asked about getting a refund because the tickets were cheaper on Alaska airlines website their phone started to break up so bad I could not hear the man at all on the other line. I then tried back again and was placed on hold for 45 minutes. I finally hung up.

    Today is 4 days after my purchased tickets and I got an email from Google stating my tickets dropped in price on Alaska's website. 300 dollars cheaper to be exact!!! I called CheapOair again to see if they could price match and they said because it is passed 24 hours they can not.     I've traveled extensively and used CheapOair a number of times in the past. I also worked in the technical industry the better part of my 40 year career. Today I purchased my tickets, carefully typing in the ticket information so that it matches our travel credentials "EXACTLY." I receive the confirmation email, open to review and find my first name has been truncated and my travel partner's last name has been changed to match my own? I call the number provided and they are asking an additional $34 to change the names on this purchase? No way... First a guy calls at midnight waking me up to provide a seat selection (that wasn’t available at time of purchase) for me and my 7 year old to sit together for only 20$ More. I said, “Sure just let me go back to sleep.” About to the board the plane and the check-in desk realizes that we are not assigned to seats together and fixes it. We arrive at our destination and an emergency comes up at my company so I need to return a few days early.     My experience with CheapOair started out great. Easy to book, saved some money, very pleasant experience. I called back several days later to request a change of date for my flight, to avoid being gone on Father's Day. I informed the representative as soon as I got on the phone that I was only interested in making a change if there wouldn't be any fees or a major price difference in the tickets. His response was "of course, no problem." So we found some to let's for one day earlier, I agreed to pay about 30 more per ticket because of different flight times. I said multiple times "so there are no fees....right?" Once again, great experience.

    A few weeks later, I checked my account and found not 1 but 2 charges of nearly 500 dollars (the price of my tickets) had been taken out of my account. I called to see what the deal was and after multiple calls, I was informed that the ticket difference was almost triple what I expected, and there was a 200 fee attached. After speaking with multiple people, I reminded them that the calls are supposed to be recorded and if we can listen to the call and confirm that I agreed to pay the fees, I'd happily pay them and count it as "a learning experience." They called me a few days later to tell me that they listened to the call and I had agreed to pay. I asked if I could hear the recording myself to confirm and hear "we will call you back in 2 days so that you can listen."

    After a week I called and was informed that it is illegal to let me listen to the recording. So I am now in a position where I have to take the word of the company that I already feel lied to me and ripped me off. The last person that I spoke with was kind enough to refund me 50 dollars, but I am still out about 350 that was unexpected. The rest of my trip was smooth, and outside of this disaster, I would have happily recommended CheapOair, and used them again. However, at this point I have warned all friends and family to stay clear, and I plan to seek out a more reputable company in the future.

    They draw you in with these prices that no other online booking site offers but the prices are a lie just to draw you in. Even if you try to book the flight with their so called miracle price it will not go through. Even they keep that stupid clock ticking to say you only have 20 minutes until booking can be held it is also a lie. I booked my flights for 1500 with credit card and all in under 10 minutes with 10 minutes still to spare according to their so called booking clock and after they said sorry that booking has been taken.     The airlines had a flight schedule change, so I called CheapOair who did my booking. First time I called told the customer service what happen and the new flight time did not work for me. It had me arriving 10 minutes before my international flight took off. He said he work on it. Placed me on hold. 35 minutes later never return. Second time I called went on hold. They never answered at all 30 minutes went by. So third time I did a chat 2 hours 50 minutes back and forth and waiting on them. They never changed my flight. Said they were on hold with airline, would ask some questions, say wait, after over two hours they told me it was too late to change flight. They had closed for the day. I had to call airline, and they first refused to help. Said CheapOair had to change it. They were the agent. I only got it done after talking to airline manager. Don't use CheapOair.

    Used their website to book a round trip from the USA to Sweden. I wish I had not. Painful website to use. Once I slogged my way through it and got the booking, I was barraged with calls and emails offering to upsell me. Plus, when I printed out my boarding passes, there was no gate assignment for the LAX leg. Got to LAX and could not find my flight. Not COA's fault, but even on their website they had no updated info. Wanted to change the return leg, and used their chat to try to do so.     Do not book with this company. I booked a flight from July 24-25. After paying for the flight, CheapOair changed the date to July 25-26. I have a job interview on the 25th at 11AM and I paid almost $300 for the ticket. Although the dates of July 25-26 are cheaper, I did not choose them because I would miss my interview time. If I wanted to travel between July 25-26, I would have paid 235 on a different website. Instead, CheapOair charged me 273 for a ticket I could have saved almost $40 on.

    They are supposed to be cheaper but they just bamboozled me out of money by changing the date of my flight and charging me more for a flight I could have saved a lot more money on. Now, I don't know if the company can even change my interview date. They might be booked. The interview is for a State Job and I do not even have savings. I made a BIG sacrifice spending all this money on the ticket and because this company robbed me and changed the date, I don't know if I can make the interview. Thanks for nothing!

    I have used CheapOair about 4-5 times this year so far. I was planning was planning to use this company for the other 3 trips I have planned this year. I will definitely be finding another company from now on. I will also tell every one of my friends and co-workers who all travel a lot to never use your service again. As well as post on all of my social media sites, and my friends with YouTube channels to keep as much business away from your organization as possible. First of all your customer service department is terrible. I had to stay on hold not once, not twice, not three times, but four times for over an hour.

    Getting disconnected several times was rather annoying too. Your online system needs a major update as well. It changed not only my flight date but most of personal information as well. Computer errors is one thing but to not fix the errors that your system makes is another. I have never seen a company so poorly ran in all my 45 years. The charges were extremely unnecessary. But after multiple phone calls, being on hold for many hours, being disconnected many times, live chat service being non responsive, even corporate supervisors not being able to resolve your failures as a company should have, I have decided otherwise.

    I have given up too much wasted time, effort and my hard earned money to ever spend another dime with your poor excuse for a company. I will be booking my next flights and my family's flights with a more organized and efficient company.     We bought a Qatar Airways ticket with a 10 hour stop in Doha. Qatar Airways provides its customers with hotels when the layover is more than 8 hours. We were sure that we will be provided with accommodation after a 20 hours trip and did not book any place. But when we arrived at Doha we found that CheapOair sold a promotional fare ticket to us that is not including any accommodation. Based on what Qatar Airways agent said, this is the information that CheapOair should have provided us with. Now we have 10 hours layover after a 20 hours flight without any place to rest or any plan to do only because CheapOair was not transparent at all!

    The funniest thing is that when we called them regarding this matter, they said that, "We did not claim anything about accommodating you and this is not our fault!!!" Just letting you know CheapOair: you are selling promotional ticket and not letting the customer know about that!!! We will not buy any ticket from CheapOair again even if I have to pay more to buy my ticket from somewhere else.     For a two-week vacation in Scotland, I had booked a rental car using a company called CHEAPOAIR (CheapOair.com). I used the same company to book the air travel via Aer Lingus. This complaint relates to the car rental, only. The car was to be supplied by the car rental company Green Motion (**). The amount of $288.40 was paid on 04/05/2019 via credit card to CHEAPOAIR. On arrival at their Edinburgh airport counter on 05/08/2019, Green Motion refused to rent a car to me with the argument that I did not have a driver's license for at least two years as required by their conditions.

    I have had a valid Virginia driver's license since 1985. In Virginia, drivers licences need to be renewed every 8 years (the old license becomes invalid and is kept by the VA Department of Motor Vehicles). My present driver's license states Iss REN 07/02/2018 meaning that it was re-newed on 07/02/2018. The Green Motion staff chose to interpret this information as saying that my driver's license was issued on that date. They then asked me to produce the previous license to show that I have had a driver's license for the required two year period. One possible solution to issue the rental car contract to my husband (whose driver's license was re-newed more than 2 years ago) was also turned down by the Green Motion staff with the argument that the car had not been ordered by my husband. I asked the Green Motion staff to cancel the business transaction and return the money, and they said they could not do that either.

    I contacted CHEAPOAIR on 05/08/2019 to ask them to return my money. They said that this was a problem between me and the rental car company and that they could not help me. To save our vacation, I rented a car from a reputable company at Edinburgh airport (SIXT). The car was more expensive, but no problems of any kind were encountered.

    In summary, Green Motion has a requirement for the prior validity of the driver's license that may be easy to state but is often (12% of all cases) impossible to meet, at least for Virginia drivers (and likely for drivers from many other states, too). The company has not delivered any service to me. They should not be allowed to keep my money.

    I had the worse experience purchasing my flight thru this company. They are not straightforward with what they are doing and their priority is to make a profit. I paid $140 for an upgraded ticket which also included the ability to choose your seat on the plane. After I selected my seats online, their website attempted to charge me more money. This isn't right, why do I need to pay twice to select my seat? This should be the first red flag that this company is not straightforward and attempts to gouge more money. So I called in and spoke to an agent.

    First, it is not a very clear connection speaking to the agent. Second, the agent has an accent. It's like a fake European accent and is not the easiest to understand. The agent said he can help with the free seat selection (but it's not free, I already paid $140 for it as an upgrade) and he will look for similar flight times for this option. This made me nervous and I told him I don't want to make any changes to the time of my flight. I work like normal people and have to be back home at a specific time for work after my trip. He said ok, and put me on hold.

    He returned and said he was able to select the seats. When he repeated the itinerary back to me of what he booked, I noticed that the dates weren't the same that I originally chose. I almost didn't catch this change, he was very subtle about it, and again...this line isn't clear nor is his English. On top of it, he bombards you with a lot of excessive information and hides these changes among them.

    When I pointed the date change out to him, he said the flight is already booked with the new dates and that I did not instruct him that he couldn't change the date. I reminded him that I instructed him I did not want any changes to the time of my flight. His argument was he did not change the time, he just changed the date. So from his logic, as long as he maintained the specific time, he had the liberty to change the date, month and even year of the flight. I insisted, I wanted it to be changed back to my original dates. I have to be back for work. He resisted changing it back, said it was already booked.

    Then we proceeded into a huge argument about the semantics of what the meaning of "time" was. I can't believe I wasted my breath with this agent. It was apparent he was unwilling to provide me what I paid for (assigned seats on a specific flight I paid for). When he insisted on me to accept the new booking with the different date, I said this isn't what I wanted to purchase and was going to cancel the whole transaction with my credit card if he could not help me. He at first said I cannot do this. After more arguing and me threatening to cancel with my credit card, he eventually did return the flight to my original booking date with selected seats.

    Why couldn't he have done that from the beginning? Why can't I just do that by myself from the website? Why make this such a painful and difficult process? It's because they are trying to make money and profits in a guise that they are being "helpful" to the customer. The agent had no intent of helping, he was attempting to coerce and trick me to change my trip days and times to a cheaper ticket. Once they booked me on these cheaper days/times, they don't offer you the the difference, they pocket the profits. When they make these changes, they do it very slyly and indiscreetly. And when you catch them on it, they make it hell for you to change it back. I will never use this company to book my flights and will never recommend using them to anyone. They don't care about their customer needs and only try to think of ways to make a buck off of you.

    I booked my flights for 3 people. I noticed that I inadvertently put April 29 instead of April 30. On their website it states we are able to make cancellations or changes within 24 hours. What they don't tell you is there is an additional charge per person to change the date. This was a matter of minutes that I wanted to change the date after reserving. First they wanted to charge me $80 per person. Then it was $60 per person. Then it was $30 per person but at a different airport. CheapOair needs to be more forthcoming with their additional fees and fines!! Like people aren't human and aren't going to make mistakes! Give me a break!!! Scam scam scam is what I say!

    Booked a flight for my father who is 89 years old, blind and has a service dog. Customer service representative helping me find a flight for him. The agent pointed out a one stop flight where he would not have to get off the plane and would only have a 50 minute layover. The price for this flight was reportedly $30 more. I agreed that it was worth the $30 to have them stay on the airplane with his dog. He proceeded to make the reservations and told me that the price had gone up another $30. I reluctantly agreed.

    After hanging up I went to Southwest website and found the same flight for $30 less. Same price he had originally quoted me. I took a screenshot. Send it to their price match email. They wouldn’t match the price because it was the airline not what they consider a “competitor”. I will never use CheapOair air again.     I booked for my partner and I. We are in our seventies and don’t fly often. I entered our names on the booking but neglected to put our middle names. Upon receiving our information I saw that it said that the names needed to match our government ID. Assuming, that was our driver's license, I called the number to add the information.     This is my second and last reservation with CheapOair. The first time I used them I did not get any savings whatsoever than if I had just gone directly through the airline. The second time I made a mistake by one day on my arrival time and tried to go back and contact them to see if I could change the date by one day, so I could make a cruise that I was trying to attempt. They wanted to charge me a $300 penalty fee plus whatever the difference in fare was. I ended up going directly to the airline itself and was able to resolve it. I tried to get a supervisor through CheapOair and it took about an hour to get that. They wasted my entire evening and did nothing for me. I will never use them again. A friend of mine correctly asked me: what did you expect using a company called CheapOair? Good point. Done.

    We have booked tickets to India in January to travel in June. However since one of the airlines closed CheapOair has been saying they are trying to get us on another flight as they are unsuccessful in getting us on a flight. We have been calling their support team many times during a day with a wait time of at least 45 mins each time to speak to someone with no resolution. We told them we have tickets for our trips forward and cannot be cancelled however still no resolution. Tried to get the supervisor online however they never come online to help. This is really unprofessional as they knew that that airline stopped so why stress is out last minute.

    I needed to fly to the upper corner of West Virginia and wanted to avoid the DC area traffic issues so was looking for a flight to a smaller airport closer to where I was headed. After searching all options I found ONE flight with the dates and destination I needed for my trip. I noticed there was a long layover in DFW but figured it would be ok for the trip out. This layover was 15 hours extending over 2 days and the airlines would not check my bag all the way to my final destination for some reason but said I could pick up my bag in DFW and recheck it with no additional charge on to my destination.

    The airlines offered me a discounted room at a nearby hotel since I could not stay in the airport and had to re-enter through TSA just before the flight. Whoa the airlines said it would cost me an additional $30 to recheck my bag but since the starting airport BZN had said I would not have to repay they waived it. My bag was checked from there to my final destination. Then while I was was wasting another 3 hours in Pitt I noticed that my return flight was even worse and less customer service oriented (a 29+ hour layover) for the whole trip over 2 days again with added fees for luggage check. I told them this was totally uncalled for and how unhappy I was and all they would say is that the ticket was non refundable and they could do nothing to help me.

    I asked to speak to a manager and was given to someone else and I was told the same garbage. I offered to give them a review so here it is. I was finally given a better return flight by them canceling the second half of my round trip ticket and giving me a one way ticket home at a discounted rate which was an additional $353+. When I told them it was not good enough they reduced the extra to $292.50 for the flight home. I took that so this CheapOair reservation and flight only cost me $960.66 for the flight, $60.00 for bag fees, plus $450.81 for car rental grand total of $1411.47. You might think this is CHEAP but I disagree and will never use or recommend this company to anyone EVER. I can do better.

    CheapOair says they will find you the cheapest deal for airfare. Then they charge you a fee so it is not the cheapest. Then they text you and email you spam style. You think you picked your seats but you didn't. You still have to check in with the airline. When I'd hit the link to check in with CheapOair it sends you to links to rent a car or a hotel. In the end you have to go to the airline's check-in. I'm not sure what the fee they collect for you is for. I guess to spam you with emails. I suggest to go directly to the airline that is your cheapest deal and they will not spam you.

    I book a flight to Cabo San Lucas. After I submitting my payment info I notice the flight was going to Saint Luis so I called support 1 minute later. Spent 58 minutes on hold and was hit with $100 cancellation fee. I will never book a flight thru CheapOair.com. Their excuse for the fee was, it takes additional resources to cancel a flight. Well It took the agent no more than 3 minutes.

    I booked a flight for my wife on CheapOair. Within 20 minutes I found that she had made other arrangements and that I would need to cancel the reservation. I immediately (within 20 minutes) called their customer service line. The person I got was definitely not speaking their first language and I could not understand him. I was transferred to another person and the connection was so bad I could not hear her without her shouting. I was told that I could cancel the reservation but it would cost me an additional $50 and that I would not receive my refund for 10 to 14 days. The hotel refuse to check me in and calling CheapOair they did not help to relocate. Was left with no hotel to go to.     Booked a flight through them to TX literally 10mins ago and through their system, they charged me $50/bag. Then after booking, the airline sent me an email saying that I paid $35/bag and that it was only for going there and not coming back. I called CheapOair to have them fix the pricing and to credit the bags back. Was on hold forever and when they came on the phone, they kept arguing with me as to why they charge ridiculous fee and there's absolutely nothing they can do to refund me. Even though I booked it 10mins ago.

    I then called the airline and they said they can offer me a full refund back on my card. When I asked what card that is, they mentioned a card that's not even mine! Then I called CheapOair again and they refused to refund me my money and refused to do anything to help. So I would lose more than half of my money for canceling. After multiple calls and wait 4 hrs later, I ended up paying the extra bag fees on the return flight. Total price was the same as Southwest with free bags. ** experience ever and will never use them again.

    This site is very deceptive. After filling out the form online for a flight on June 8, I clicked "buy now" and suddenly owned a ticket for 3 days later on June 11! After waiting on hold for an eternity, and on chat, I finally got an person on the phone. This person made me jump through a million evasive hoops only to tell me that it would cost me $50.00 to cancel AND he had to speak to the passenger, who is my husband. My husband got on the phone and the CheapOair representative informed my husband that I had been told 3 times online that I was buying an "alternative date". That is so untrue.

    The only warning I got was after I clicked "Buy" a screen quickly flashed "Congratulations you bought an alternative fare!" There was no way to stop the purchase. Seconds later when I got the confirmation emails and texts it talked all about how I "chose" the alternate date. Each one also had a segment that said if I would like to change the date to "click or call here". It's been 45 minutes on hold and of both of us talking to someone at CheapOair who has been trained in evasion techniques. In the meantime we called our VISA company and started the process of stop payment. Total rip-off...

    Nothing but trouble from the beginning to the end. Where can I start. Book the trip using CheapOair, what a mistake. Customer service is in India or Pakistan or g.d knows where. They book our tickets on Air Italy, charged for emergency row seats for more leg room and when we arrived at the counter we were told that it was never reserved for us. Okeey, maybe a glitch in the system. After that we learn that despite our request for two checked in suitcases, agent booked light economy - no suitcases and we were charged extra $250 for luggage. When we arrived in Milan the Europcar had no trace of our car reservation and we have to start all over again. We got the car at the end.

    When we return home, Europcar charged us $1500 for the car, insurance, etc. But CheapOair already took $433 for the car and due to something Europcar never deducted that amount from the rent.     I booked a ticket through CheapOair for my parent, and it suddenly is cancelled the day before the flight. And they kept on transferring us to try to reschedule another flight. Not even sure if it's possible. When I booked it through another site, if the flight is cancelled, they would automatically put us on another flight. This site is a scam.

    Their flights are always delayed, they change the flight days and never let you know until last minute. They change your selected dates and sometimes you pay before noticing they switched what you originally selected.

    I was told when I called to complain about a 1495 charge for seat upgrade which I did not use cuz I did not know about it they could not refund my money but they would give me a discount on my next ticket.     Sara was very helpful in resolving a problem in booking seats next to each other. For some reason the computer booked seats that were not next to each other, and Sara was able to resolve that issue.     Flight to Acapulco - I had tried to book a flight online and was rejected for some reason. I received a call from Teddy with CheapOair who as able to book me alternative flights at the same price.     Agents provide wrong information, looks like making money on you. Very disappointed. I don’t recommend buying tickets with CheapOair, it’s not a good deal. You can find better deal with airline you choose. Don’t use your time and money booking with CheapOair!

    My husband booked our flight through their app. On 26th May he got an email says that there is major change our flight. Because my husband is at work I tried to call the number is given. It took me all day to speak someone but no one helped me. They told me airline cancelled the flight. I also contacted the airline but of course they didn’t help either because we bought our tickets through CheapOair app. Their customer service is the worst customer service that I have ever seen. I won’t recommend anyone. I hope someone can see my review and solve my problem.

    I have been trying to cancel the Qatar Airways ticket which I booked for my mom through CheapOair and their response is very bad... I am speaking to cancel for past 30 days and nothing has been done. Every time I speak they say "we will call back" and no one called me. I have to speak to them several times. Now the travel date is less than 2 days and till now nothing has been done. VERY VERY BAD. Folks buying ticket through CheapOair, pls make a note of this comment before you continue with this transaction.

    We booked 4 flights to Hamburg Germany. On the itinerary the ticket class simply states “coach”. I checked Icelandic Air which is the airline we were booked on for any baggage fees. There was no “coach” but were several “economy” ones with free checked baggage. We packed with this in mind and drive all the way from Indianapolis to Chicago to catch our flight. When we checked in we had to pay $95 per bag! This was in no way made clear on the itinerary or on the Icelandic Air page. We called CheapOair to try to get them to remedy this and all we got was literal hours on hold and excuses for their lack of disclosure. They cost us nearly $800 in luggage fees round trip!

    I booked a flight for my mother and I months ago when I also booked our cruise. It was our first cruise so I didn’t know I was gonna have to be on the ship by early afternoon. I figured I would be okay to make it to port if I booked the earliest flight (landing at 1 pm). Nope.. I’ll take that hit. Learning experience. I tried to contact CheapOair twice to change my flight. They claimed that I was unable to change or cancel my flight because the type of flight I reserved. (I’m assuming it was the cheapest one.) I ended up renting a car for a one way drive to port under the assumption I could still utilize the flight back.

    We got to the airport the day we were to return and the airline had no proof of us being on the flight. Turns out if you don’t use your flight going to your destination you will be removed from your returning flight. Who knew that was a thing? We ended up having to buy additional flights, one way, for a mere thousand dollars. Just to sum it up - more than $800 for the original flight that could not be changed/refunded, $300 for a rental car, more than $100 for a hotel THEN more than $1,000 for the return flight. I’m not telling anyone not to use CheapOair, but please be considerate when booking with them. I will never use them again.

    This is the worst company to book online travel with. My brother traveled internationally. Going into the flight he was stuck in China for 5 days without food or a hotel. The airport employees abused him and pushed him around cause he wouldn’t leave the airport. Where was he suppose to go? Then the company failed to notify him that his return ticket has been cancelled. He didn’t find out until he got to the Airport. Now it’s been 3 weeks and 20 customer service reps later and they still aren’t issuing a refund. They keep saying, they need to check with the airline. Their Supervisor Denton guaranteed Nd refund and still hasn’t been done. I also know someone else that got stranded in Mexico because CheapOAir failed to notify them that airline they are traveling with is no longer in service. Their representatives have no clue what is going on and just keep transferring you back and forth. I’ve Been on the phone with them for over 2 hours in 3 weeks.

    Not at all a discounter. Pulled me in with the cheap price and this bogus timer on their site automatically increases the cost of the flights before you book. The price I paid included service charges for nothing. No value to this service. Could have gotten a better price and a better flight from google flights. It is my own fault... I should have dumped them when the price changed.
