    Last week of June 2019, we asked our friend to book us a flight from Manhattan, Ks to Santa Fe, N.M. and she did.     I booked the rental car online and then needed to cancel right way. Their cancellation is complicated and you can't cancel online by yourself. I chatted with online agent, but he/she said I have to email their team. I emailed their team for cancellation. They got my request, said they are reviewing my request. One week passed and I haven't heard anything.... frustrating process! I don't want to book a car with them any longer in the future.

    From the time that the airline changed my booking until it was resolved to my satisfaction many attempts over four weeks to get assistance were needed. For the first three weeks all I was told was that the Schedule Change group would eventually contact me with no mention of when. This is unacceptable for someone planning international travel. Your customer reps are always very good but your hold times for voice and chat are excessive as well.

    I was promised a $50.00 dollar refund by a supervisor because I was charged 150.00 to change my dates, but the change was originated within 24 hours. That was almost 2 months ago.     I purchased a plane ticket about a month ago for an upcoming trip in October. Bought the ticket through CheapOAir, I'd used them previously and had a good experience. The ticket prices were really low, and I was pleased with that, however when I checked out I was surprised to find there were no fewer than 8 different kinds of "insurance" offered by CheapOAir. This was new for me. I bought two of them, one to cancel without charge, one to rebook without charge.

    A couple weeks later I had a work conflict come up and had to change the ticket. Called CheapOAir and was shocked to learn that not only did I NOT have the protections I thought I'd purchased, but it would be $99 to rebook the flight. The Cust. Service representative was nice but kept telling me there were only 2-3 seats left on the new date I'd chosen, and the cost of the new ticket would be an additional $53. I was absolutely floored, and told him I was going to check with the airline directly to see if they had a better option. He THEN told me it would NOT be cheaper, because, and I quote, "We get our rebooking prices directly from the airlines. They get that money, not us." I thanked him and told him I needed to think about it, then hung up.

    I went to the airline's website (Frontier Airlines) and found that it would be FREE for me to rebook the flight because I'd originally booked it over 90 days in advance. There was a $26 dollar ticket cost difference that I had to pay, less than half of what I'd been told over the phone. I re-booked the ticket directly with Frontier.

    While I did not end up paying that extra $127, I was furious. I've used CheapOAir in the past and never had an experience like this. The fact I was lied to was infuriating, and the fact the representative didn't make any attempt to help me out just rubbed salt in the wound. Finally, what's the point of offering all those insurances if none of them work? If CheapOAir is going to offer all those options, they should provide what they say they do without all these loopholes ensuring customers shell out $8-$30 per insurance, just for nothing. I definitely wasted about $13 on their so-called "insurance," which isn't a whole lot but for someone like myself living on a budget, that's money I can't afford to just throw away.

    I will not be booking through CheapOAir again. There are plenty of other flight booking sites out there that don't nickel and dime you the way these guys now do, and they're more honest and straightforward. If you choose to use this company, I highly encourage you to compare with other sites, and consider booking directly through the airlines if possible.

    The rep was extremely helpful - found me great flights! BUT the extra amount I had to pay was so expensive. I had to cancel a flight in August and understand the $100 fee to cancel and even understand paying extra $200 to rebook - but it still cost me an extra $369 which makes my total app. $890 for round trip to COU from RDU. I also cancelled a flight in August for my 6 year old granddaughter and pretty sure I will not reschedule that one so will lose that app. $420! Just think you could understand that sometimes there are emergencies! But still appreciate the rep being so helpful when I had to rebook.

    CheapOair chat service was very poor. A very simple inquiry asking for number of kilos allowed for check-in baggage for my Malaysian Airline trip was not answered even though I have provided my booking number. They still asked for phone number and phone billing address that I have provided which I cannot remember as I have lived in many places recently and have provided all the addresses and multiple numbers I have used in the past 2 years and still they were not able to find my details.

    Chatters Una, Georgette, and Heriberto didn't even offer any other ways to help me with my situation. It was a very simple question "How many kilos allowed for my check in baggage for my Malaysian Airline flight" as I have another flight to catch prior to that flight which allows me 40kg, that's why I want to know how many is allowed with my Malaysian Airline flight I booked in CheapOair. And I wonder why they can't find my information, and I don't remember in the first place that these information were asked before I booked in CheapOair. These situation made me very very uncomfortable and traumatic as CheapOair services are really way way below expectations and very unhelpful. I will never book with CheapOair anymore.

    My husband bought a ticket online. I did warn him not to buy because of all the negative reviews. He went to airport and was told that he was lucky the plane was not fully booked as there was a problem with his ticket booking. This company is really a scam. They fixed it and he went to Ethiopia airport to make sure also his flight was really booked. He received a dodgy email 3 weeks after he booked his ticket. Honestly where in the world is this company anyway? Not nice for a 60 year old man traveling alone. This is the last someone of my family use this company. Beware, Beware people.     CheapOair called to resolve the issue of my latest travel experience. The customer support who I spoke with was very nice and apologetic. After explaining what had happened he assured me it wouldn't happen again. The customer service agent was gracious enough to give me a direct number to call in case of any future problems.     I had booked a roundtrip flight with CheapOair from Milan MXP to Newark EWR with a 1.5 hour layover in Brussels. While trying to check-in online and print my boarding passes for my upcoming flight, I was unable to check-in or find my boarding pass from Brussels to Newark. When I called customer service I was told that I would have to check-in at the desk once I arrived in Brussels. It boggles my mind that I would have to check-in at my layover location and makes absolutely no sense, whatsoever. I feel like this is a ploy to make me miss my flight and pay for yet another flight. I've taken hundreds of flights in my life and I have NEVER had to check-in again during a layover. The ticket was booked as ONE TICKET, not two separate trips. I am beyond disappointed in this site as I have used it often. I will not be using it again.

    LAX—SEOUL Round trip booking #**. This flight schedule had two transit stops in China. The departure boarding Sichuan Air at LAX would be refused without additional ticketing for China—Seoul flight to avoid over transit period in China. Sichuan Air acknowledged their flight change caused this over transit period and sent me adequate remedy for the additional ticketing purchased at LAX.

    The main issue is that the return flight from Seoul was completely refused because the CheapOair schedule showed the over transit period in China. I had no choice but finding next flight in two days and purchasing new return ticket to LAX. CheapOair had been informed of this problem in April and they kept misleading the issues and tossing this matter around different staffs, not intending to settle for adequate remedies so far. CheapOair is playing REALLY CHEAP and AGGRAVATING. I will go as far as they go publicly and legally. Mike

    Since my original post, Cheapoair has worked diligently to resolve my issue. I have booked many flights with this company and although obtaining my resolution was a little bumpy I am very happy with the outcome and will continue as a customer.

    On June 16th I booked a flight from DFW to Brisbane, Australia; departing August 4, 2019. (Booking Number **). My credit card was charged 1072.00 on June 11, 2019. My trip was cancelled in mid-July due to medical reasons and I contacted CheapOair and cancelled my flight. Although my was cancelled I was entitled a refund. I contacted CheapOair on July 23, 2019 to inquire about my refund and was told the airline, Qantas would have to refund the ticket. I contacted Qantas and was told the Airline does not issue refunds because CheapOair does not fund the ticket until the aircraft departs.

    I re-contacted Cheapoair and was told the only refund would be 201.04; taxes incurred on the ticket price. Exhaustive research confirmed Qantas does not receive funds until the aircraft departs. I contacted CheapOair AGAIN on August 14, 2019 and after one hour attempting to speak with a non-English speaking employee I ask for the legal department and was transferred to a Supervisor who told me CheapOair did not have a legal department. The headache was enormous and I highly recommend avoiding CheapOair at ALL cost.

    I have purchased tickets from the US to India several times with CheapOair, and I have been consistently satisfied with both the application process, and the flights themselves. There needs to be a little more clarity regarding meal and seat preferences. This most recent order I did over the phone, and I requested Aisle seats and vegetarian meals, but these did not show up on the ticket I was emailed. Still, it's not that big a deal to do these preferences later.

    Buy a flight ticket last Saturday and before I buy I see the flight itinerary and tell me 2 stop flight and after I buy the ticket that changes the itinerary to 4 stop flight. I call to cancel the ticket. They told me I will ge my for getting my money back I had to wait between 7 and 40 days. It's crazy. They take my money in 5 minutes and now I had to wait from 7 to 40 day to getting back.

    My family of five was stranded at LAX, 10 hours from our home in Northern California because of CheapOair. They changed our flight times several times. The last time was the day before we were to leave. They made it the flight time so early there was no way I could get transportation from my family from our hotel to the airport in time to get on a plane. Not only did I pay for tickets, five of them, that I couldn’t use I also had to rent a car to drive 10 hours home. I will never use them Again.

    I had purchased round trip direct flight from your website on date April /19/ 2019. Eva Airline Direct flights SFO TO TEP. Total cost 1 Adult + 1 child : US $ 2136. 68. Plus Travel Protection Plan: US$ 144.90. Total cost: US$ 2281.58. Eva Airline went on strike on JUNE/20. My flight got cancelled. I contact CheapOair online agent for hours. No positive response. No any answer for any option. Got hold with Cheapoair agent on the phone, who surely on the recorded line told me I can’t swap for different airlines. I had to stick with EVA, or I had to cancelled the tickets and rebook it. She ended up charged me two single tickets for different airlines for me and my son on date June/21 /2019. She didn’t told me it was two single trip tickets. Total cost: $ 3983.17 With one stop flight (NOT even direct flight from SFO TO TEP).

    Later on I learn that many people who were also with EVA flights got cancelled and they were either with Expedia or different third party agencies online,

    managed to swap them to different airlines without any additional charge. I had confirm with EVA Airline headquarter office, they offer all the agents and guests for free reschedule / swap to different airlines without any additional charge. Turn out CheapOair is all about getting more money out of victim’s pack, or maybe it is just that unprofessional agent’s mistake. I have to spent additional US $ 1,701.59 for something that was already stressful and inconvenience that actually was not even necessary To cancel my original flights and rebook to two single flights and charge me for more... Because Cheapoair has not protect the passages rights! I have contact CheapOair by phone and emails regarding to the misleading overly charged issue. No positive response.

    CheapOair - I was on the website, my card was not being accepted, so I was going to Expedia.com. I was going for another ticket company and you should as well. CheapOair called me 20 times, I finally picked up. They asked if I would like to book over the phone, I said, "Sure." They asked for my card info, I gave it to them, it did not work. They then they asked me personal questions - social security number etc. I denied and said forget it. Went back online with Expedia.com, same card, no problems, got my ticket 45min. Later received an email from CheapOair saying I purchased a ticket. I called, they would not give me back my money. The bank treated my situation as a return, this was not a refund but an unauthorized use of my bank account. Stay away. If you are on the fence....GO somewhere else. Even if you are not on the fence, vote by not going with CheapOair.

Insurance actuary personnel could understand but the ordinary person does not and is surprised by your false pretense of the itinerary charges.     I usually purchase flight tickets through CheapOair, I purchased a ticket for My Parents who were travelling from Toronto To Hyderabad (Via Montreal--Doha---Hyderabad) through CheapOair which is operated by Air Canada (from Toronto to Montreal) and Qatar airways (from Montreal to final destination). In the ticket under baggage information it said 2 Luggage bags are allowed along with one cabin bag per person. But on the day of travel, Air Canada crew asked me to pay $100 (CAD) each. In-spite of arguing I happened to pay $200 (CAD) for both.

    Before 15 minutes of Boarding time from Montreal, I got a WhatsApp call from my dad, he said Qatar airways were asking them to pay another $661 (CAD) for both. My parents have Money with them but it is not sufficient to pay the specified amount and they don't know English to communicate with Airline authorities. Crew Manager was rude and ask my parents to pay the specified amount or their baggage will not be allowed on flight, when I spoke with him on call and explained that I already paid $200 in Toronto, he said that's for Air Canada and $661 is for Qatar Airways and he neither gave me an option to pay online nor gave me time to think as the time left was 10 minutes to board the flight.

    My request for CheapOair is to provide exact information based on that we (passengers) will be well-prepared. Firstly, my parents were attending my grand-mom's funeral and they were in deep sorrow and secondly, they were in tensed as everyone was boarded on flight except them. Without their proper information provided on itinerary I had to pay $861 for the whole trip just for the baggage.

After a couple days they finally came up with another flight that we found unacceptable.     As the airline cancelled our overseas flight for no reason, We called CheapOair for a replacement flight. We were put on hold for more than an hour before we could get to an agent who dealt with flight cancellation. We were told that CheapOair could not replace the flight and we must buy new tickets. We asked for a refund for the cancelled flight and the agent transferred our call to another agent. After waiting for another hour or so, we finally spoke to an agent who told us that he would process the refund. It has been more than a month and we have not received the refund yet. We would not buy from CheapOair again knowing that we will spend hours on the phone when something goes wrong, like the airline cancels the flight.

    After completing my booking online, I received a call from a caller identified as "82539 - India CC", which looks a little suspect. But it was a CheapOair rep trying to upsell me on the trip cancellation insurance and seat reservations. He initially told me it would be $80 to reserve regular seats. When I said that I was still on the website and it was showing me $47.80 for the same seats, he went away and came back to offer the seats for $40.

    I relented, because I thought this was an airline charge, but when I got my confirmation from United, it showed the seat selection as free---the $40 is entirely Cheapo's fee to do what I could have done myself for free, in a couple of minutes, on United's site. Not pleased, especially with the hard-sell tactics. (Also, he selected the wrong seats and I fixed the reservation myself.) The flight price was the same as directly booking with United, but the latter wouldn't let me book from Canada, so I gave CheapOair a try. I'm definitely on the fence as to whether I would do so again. At least I'm wiser now to their tactics.

    While I understand we all like to get a great deal sometimes the price is too high. My Daughter's flight was cancelled today, she was bused 300k to another airport, they arrived at 1am to Athens. NOTHING TO DO WITH CHEAPOAIR. I am in Canada so I tried to get her to her next destination by booking her an early morning flight out, so she could just stay in the airport. When I made the booking with CheapOair, it kicked back to the beginning saying it wasn't available. I thought maybe I had just not pressed confirm, so I did it again not checking that it had changed dates on me.

    I immediately phoned to be told no problem, it had not gone through yet. I am put through to someone else, 1 hour and a half later they cut me off by asking for a survey then they were gone. Next phone call was 35 mins.... Now I am getting really annoyed and the online chap, Fedal finally after asking the same 35 questions said it had gone through now and I would have to pay the cancellation fee. I have had to pay the cancellation fee before when I truly made a mistake. Honestly it's not so much the money. It's the fact they make it so difficult and most people probably give up.... Never again CheapOair.

    I booked a ticket to San Diego on August 7 to visit my elderly mom. When I went to review the flight confirmation, I noticed that my middle name was misspelled, which is not like me (I am a professional writer). The form prominently warns consumers that passenger names must be identical to how they appear on their passport, so I called the help number they had posted and was told I had to pay a $25 fee to have them make the correction; I had to agree to their terms or pay the cancellation fee for my order! It was extortion. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was put on hold for a ridiculous amount of time. Finally, after I'd escalated the issue, a manager called me back and told me they would waive the fee.

    Meanwhile, the newly issued receipt did not include an updated confirmation number. Shortly after we got everything sorted, still another representative from CheapOair called me under the pretext of offering my priority seating and $50 in flight coupons. I was delighted by the gesture and the attempt to reimburse me for my inconvenience. But NO! At the end of the conversation, the representative informed that I would be billed for the priority seating and "how would I like to pay for that?" What shysters! This was the most stressful booking transaction I've ever made and I'm still terrified that, when the day comes to fly, I will discover still more hidden charges or worse: that my reservation was never confirmed at all!!! Avoid this company like the plague. And please wish me luck.

They do not show this anywhere on their site. It will cost my family 900 dollars more for luggage. This is unacceptable. False Advertising. Nowhere does it say, "No luggage."     CheapOair changed our flight schedule. When I called them they kept forwarding to different people and each person put me on hold for so long that I stayed on phone for more than 5 hours. I was placed on hold over and over. When I finally did get to talk to someone they were checking alternate flights but said their shift was ending and would call me back the following day. Needless to say I'm still waiting on that callback. Checked the online portal and it was not any more helpful. At the end they didn't help at all. And I still don't know the status of my flight.     In May, 2019 my daughter booked a last minute flight to attend her father's funeral. I paid for the tickets. It was booked thru CheapOair on AA. Flight was cancelled due to mechanical problems and next flight would make her miss the funeral. Called agency immediately, said could not refund. Called AA with documentation that the flight was cancelled. The cost was way over $1,000. Found out from AA that the ticket was much less and they refunded the AA price of the ticket.     We booked our flights to China for our family vacation with CheapOair. All flights were confirmed and paid for but we were contacted 2 weeks before departure because one portion of our multi-stops flight was canceled. We asked them to help us re-route that portion of the journey; instead they just canceled and refunded our tickets.     I purchased a ticket for my mom to fly out for my emergency surgery and along with the ticket I added the Travel Protection Plan in case I needed to change the flight or cancel it. Turns out I needed to either change or cancel. I called CheapOair to do so and was told my ticket was nonrefundable. I called Trip Mate which is the company in charge of the Travel Protection Plan and was told that I needed to file a claim and wait 30 days for an answer. I said I do not have 30 days to wait for an answer if I get a refund or not because I need the money to purchase a new ticket. They said, "Well we do apologize but you have to wait 30 days and there is nothing we can do." Needless I will never be using either of these two companies. They did thank us for our service to this country so that was nice, but they still could not help us.

    I booked two one way tickets on break from school. The website at time was experience issues. I called in to customer service rep. He was nice. Booked ticket. He explained to me several times I had 24hrs to make any changes. I didn't plan on any changes. As, luck would have it my school posted new schedule next day with dates updated. Yep I had a test on date of my departure. Medical school by the way no way around test. I called well within my 24 hrs as I booked late the previous night. Option was change or cancel. One ticket I paid 130ish and other 230ish. No, I didn't expect a fee as it was not stated and I was within the 24hrs. Easy to assume it's a grace period. To change ticket, both in my case as they coincided. $96 each to cancel $75 each. I ended up pay 75 to cancel a 130 ticket, other words 75 to get 65. My issue is this should have been stated upfront, since I called to book the tickets.

    My first experience with CheapOair. Not a good impression. Should been possible to either waive since first time or at least one fee considering one was a 130 or even lowered fees. It is good to be upfront about this type of fees, in retrospect I may have waited before purchasing preventing my circumstance altogether. Make fees visible. Seems company make more on fees than do in ticket sales. Yes there are many complaints online as stated first time use. Post fees and consider a actual grace period or base fee off of ticket price. Not a good 1st impression. Cannot recommend to other classmates as we all utilize different sites to accommodate our frequent flying needs.

The agent did not mention this rule and accepted my middle initial only.     We purchased 6 round trip tickets LAX to Shanghai. Our flight on Hainan Airline has one stop in Xi'an (3 hours). WE called the airline to allow us to stay in Xi'an for a couple of days before we leave for Shanghai. They told us we had to go through CheapOair to make the change. We followed their instructions and agreed to pay $250 per ticket for this change. WE were assured that this will be the total charge. A day later we were charged an additional $150 per ticket by the airline. We have made multiple calls to CheapOair and have spoken to multiple people. No luck on getting anything fixed. They agree that the total cost for making this change is $250 per ticket. They claim they have no idea why the airline has an additional charge. They refuse to find out claiming that the airline does not answer!

    We think they charged us $250 per ticket (150 for the airline and 100 for themselves). However, they charged took the airline share rather than pass it along. A totally polite but dishonest operation. Save yourself the headache and avoid these guys. You are far better served by finding the airfare from CheapOair and buying the tickets from the airline directly. This is a scam! Hope this will help some unsuspecting soul.

    Stay away with this airline. They showed a promo code of $50 in the beginning and refused to honor at the end of online booking. I called them and after waiting for about 25 mins or so a stupid lady said she would look at it and my call was disconnected. Due to emergency I want to change the return flight date and after a biggg rude behaviour from the customer service finally I tried to change the return flight after paying a whopping amount of more than $1000 in change fee. When I see my credit card statements Today they charged me 2 times of more than $1000. I tried to get in touch with them and it's been 55 min on Hold with customer service and No Response for them. Big Hassle. I'm going to raise a Dispute with my credit card companies if they do not respond to me. That is the only option I have right now. Please think twice/thrice before booking your tickets with the agency services. Never recommend this to any one.

    CheapOair changed our flight schedule which has 26 hour layover. When I called them they kept forwarding to different people and each person put me on hold for so long that I stayed on phone for 3:10 (3 hours 10 minutes). I was placed on hold by Aldo, Rudolfo, Seanna, Carson and few other guys whose names I don't remember. At the end they didn't help at all. Very bad customer service.

    I called to book a rental car at Shannon Airport in Ireland. I explained that I would be flying overnight from the US and arriving at 6:20 in the morning. When I received the email confirmation I noticed the pickup time for the car was 7:00 PM, 12 hours after an overnight flight. I called again to change PM to AM and was told the booking would have to be cancelled and a new one created. Counting the time needed for the original booking (and another car in Scotland) plus the error correction I was on the phone for over 2 hours.     Over the years I have used this company for several trips. But this is my last booking with them. You truly can get the same price for your flight(s), BETTER flights and choose your seat selection (most often WITHOUT additional charges) by booking with the airline directly. I found this out when I booked a recent flight to Sulawesi. I booked directly with EVA Airlines and Garuda and got a WAY BETTER airfare and FAR BETTER flights then with CheapOair. (There's a reason that their name is CheapOair!) In addition, with an airline, say like British Airways, you can hold your booking for 72 hours for $20. per ticket (person)! With Expedia you have 24 hours to cancel. With CheapOair, you get NOTHING. But HORRIBLE flights and service!

    I booked our flight to Botswana with them 2 years ago and so thought I would book with them again this time. BIG. BIG. BIG. HUGE mistake! They have us booked with one of the absolute WORST airlines operating in Africa. Air Botswana! Initially I (foolishly) assumed that the flights were the same as our last booking, and it wasn't until I purchased the tickets that I noticed that we were booked on Air Botswana and NOT SA Airlines Airlink. Granted, this was an oversight on my part, but I've received NO ASSISTANCE WHAT SO EVER in resolving this with CheapOair. Big surprise. So...I'm done with ticket consolidators.     I've had a horrible experience with CheapOair. Kayak sent me to them and I didn't realize I was even booking through them, so I'm not happy with Kayak either. I'll NEVER use either service again. CheapOair keeps changing my flights and I'm traveling with a group of 8 people. Now I'm on a completely different plane and schedule with my travel companions. I explained that I was traveling with a group. They didn't seem to care. They wanted me to prove it by providing the travel numbers for each person in the group. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told they didn't have one. Seriously the WORST travel experience I have ever had. I've spent over six hours on hold in three phone calls to try to fix it and it is still not fixed. Then when I called about it the customer service was outsourced and I could barely understand the person talking to me. He kept talking over me when I asked for a refund.     I tried several times to book my flight online and kept getting error notices. I called the number on the top of the page and got a very nice representative who told me the site was doing a price upgrade. When she typed in all my information the price had increased over $50.00! She was only able to give me a $20.00 discount but I still felt ripped off and told her so. I told her I understood it was not her fault and I had her go ahead and book my flights but I will never use CheapOair again.

    I have used them faithfully for the past 5 or 6 years but I will find a different booking outlet for my future trips and will tell everyone about my experience with CheapOair!     So I'm from Puerto Rico, and we all use both last names (Father's and then Mother's). As I chose my flights through CheapOair, I typed my full name as I do in any legal document and as it appears in my ID (both last names). As soon as finished and purchased the flights, I received an confirmation email. I noticed there was only 1 last name (as it's very common in the US). As I went through each flight I realized they filled out my name wrong as they did the booking. They used my Father's last name as a middle name, and then used my Mother's last name as the only last name. By now it was obvious this would cause an identification problem at the airport.

    So I called CheapOair's customer service. I requested Spanish assistance, as that is my native language. I eventually got to speak with a Spanish speaking representative and it was awful. She was incredibly rude and on top of that, they did not assume responsibility for their mistake. The representative told me that the only way to change/correct my name was through the airlines themselves, as she abruptly hung up the phone. I ended up calling Frontier Airlines and Spirit to fix the issue. Needless to say, It was a huge hassle and it brought unnecessary stress to my vacation. I do NOT recommend CheapOair, it's just awful.

    I booked a flight and hotel for June 9 thru June 19 to see my grandson. I'm a 70 year old grandma. My nightmare started, they changed the date. I complain about a 11:30 min. layover in S. Paulo. Everything you have to pay for. I bought it in May 2, I couldn't board. I called to say what happened and they cancelled the whole deal. Lost all my money. I was going to stay until June 19. Didn't see my grandson, extremely depressed. They are crooks, and all they want is money. So there are a grandma and a grandson crying. For heaven's sake you twist words around.     3. The price they offer, just go directly to the airline website, and the price is better.

    Sharing my experience with dealing with cheapoair today. I booked a flight from BWI to Fort Myers for 217.55 which was a good price. After completing my booking and received the email with my flight info, I notice my departure city was changed to DCA. I immediately called JetBlue and they told me since I booked thru a 3rd party it would cost me $50 for them to take it over, so they advise me to call cheapoair. I called cheapoair and spoke with Pedro, nice guy, he checked and told me they changed it because when I booked the flight and checked “Non-Stop” they auto changed it to DCA because they don’t have a “NON-Stop” flight leaving from Baltimore (BWI). He tried to find me something else but was unable and price increase.

    Anyways, I told him to cancel the flight, he then told me it’s going to cost me $25 to cancel, can you imagine. I cancelled with 20 mins and they charged me $25 to cancel something they screwed up. This is a classic BAIT and SWITCH tactics. WARNING TO EVERYONE OUT THERE, Don’t do business with CHEAPOAir. They’re unscrupulous. I eventually went to SOUTHWEST WHO I CAN DEPEND ON. Never again will I do business with cheapoair. I will be blocking them from even coming up on any of my flight search and blocking them from my email.

    I reserved a car for the airport in Casablanca Morocco. I chose Avis as a car company because they said they had an office in the terminal. I fully paid for the car however when I got there, Avis did not have any records of the rental. I was directed to a local company that had a car parked two blocks away from the airport. The car had no gas and had broken mirror. The car did not have any tire caps.     We family of 5 people. We travel every year 3 time multi cities all international. We bought this time thru CheapOair and all that we have is bad experience. One airline cancelled our flight from Moscow to Istanbul and moved us 2 days forward. CheapOair want us to contact the airline which we did and the airline told us to go back to the agent CHEAPOAIR. We end up buying new tickets with extra money from Expedia and will be refunded after 90 days from CheapOair. We paid extra money for extra luggage when we bought the tickets. CheapOair said it's only for the first destination. First destination was free regardless because it's international flight and you allowed 23 kg, so we lost that money too. CheapOair is a scam in some hidden areas. The Min waiting time to speak to someone is 3 hours.

    Updated on 09/25/2019: I purchased round trip ticket from Milwaukee to DFW and return - American Airlines canceled the flight connecting from Chicago to Milwaukee. I tried to reach this company for 2 + hours for connecting flight - finally ended up getting a ticket from United Airlines. The supervisor did call me back this week and American refunded $55 on the canceled flight but the United flight cost me $292.00 - No one could book this connecting flight from Chicago to Milwaukee at CheapOair and I kept on being transferred to "a supervisor" - no ever picked up - This is the responsibility of CheapOair to reimburse this flight - not United Airlines - So my suggestion - don't attempt to contact these people after you purchase a ticket from them.

    If you purchased "insurance" make sure you get some sort of confirmation number because the insurance I did purchase was never sent to the appropriate department - I had to prove I purchased the travel insurance - CheapOair did refund that $21.00. Either way, I suggest another travel company - this has been going on since July 6.... Not resolved, won't be resolved.

    Original review: I purchased a round trip ticket ($ within reason) from DFW to Milwaukee WI. The AA FLIGHT was delayed 4 times. Got a text that I would miss connecting flight from Chicago to Milwaukee. Attempted to call CheapOair... 4 hours... no one answered calls that could help with change of connecting flights. A few hours later receive a phone call (2) and then an email they were still trying to get an authorization and contacted my bank with a Accounts payable and was confirmed there was enough money to be cleared and it was just pending. There were several calls and I do not think I will ever book with CheapOair again, too many hassles and misunderstandings.

    I booked a flight and the booking was made final at 1:21am. I booked at $397.00. Only 8 hours later the flights dropped on prices. I get the email address to their "PMP" team. I get a email back that the information I provided didn't qualify. They give specific instructions. I follow the instructions to get an email back that it still didn't qualify. How do you figure I sent the screenshot with the matching website and link... I call CheapOair again at 4pm. A representative assures me that someone is going to call me. I've called 4 days straight with no resolution. Finally I speak to a "supervisor" and I ask for the corporate office information. He doesn't know who oversees "pmp". He doesn't have a phone number for their office, etc. I still have not received resolution to this matter. Another fun fact...while booking I'm telling the agent I can see the prices are not what she is telling me and she is telling me those are old fares.

    I am so grateful for the amazing trip we had to Portugal! But this is my Public Service Announcement! It was my first time booking with CheapOAir and it will be my last... We got the ticket for about $50 less than other websites.. What they fail to tell you is that the discounted tickets that you just bought does not allow checked luggage even on international flights and you will have to pay $120 dollars per suitcase both ways! This is so deceitful because I didn’t think to ask this because when talking to the agent and booking tickets and traveling with family internationally I assumed checked in luggage was allowed.. like every other flight I have ever taken! I booked these tickets on the phone with the agent and he did not tell me this..

    When I called them the day we were leaving because I thought the website was glitchy when we checked in.. They said “you should have asked about the baggage policy.." and that they are not responsible for notifying me of the policy.     I am a platinum member but my time on hold to do a cancellation was 3 transfers and 1 hour 18 minutes. Still could not confirm. Said they would call back but did not. Yesterday I called and waited 22 minutes BUT finally got a rep that knew what they were doing. He got the flight cancelled and a refund done. He also booked seats on our new flight to Edinburgh.     CheapO is anything but cheap! They slip in all sorts of fees and mislead the customer. I was booking a flight to Florida when they presented me with a choice of service levels. All but the "basic" level charged a fee. Thirty minutes after I booked the flight, I needed to cancel for personal reasons. When I was in the process of booking the flight the website said you could cancel at no cost within 24 hours. When I tried to cancel, they wanted to charge me a cancellation fee. When I called customer service (it took 30 minutes to get through), they said that I had to pay to sign up for "premium service" in order to cancel for free. The airline I was flying on would allow me to cancel for free, so I was paying the penalty to CheapO! Bottom Line: GO RIGHT TO THE AIRLINE SITE to BOOK and avoid CHEAPO.

    Good: we received a good price from CheapOAir and so we booked a trip from the USA to Taiwan to Abu Dhabi (stop in Thailand) back to USA. Bad: Regarding a layover in Thailand - While we were traveling to Abu Dhabi from Taipei, we had a 1 hr 15 min layover between international flights. Our plane landed and parked on the tarmac requiring a bus to the international terminal. By the time we deplaned, rode a bus to the terminal, went through a secondary security check and arrived at the airline counter, we were informed we were too late to make the flight (we were hurrying). We called CheapOAir right away and the advice given was "there's nothing we can do, you missed your flight".

    We were now stuck in Thailand with the ticketing agent telling us there was room on the next flight, CheapOAir telling us we were at risk of losing our flight home from Abu Dhabi to the US and the airline saying they could get us on the next flight for hundreds of dollars per person. Long story short, the airline offered a price which was hundreds less per person for the flight from Bangkok to Abu Dhabi than CheapOair could offer so we decided to save hundreds and go directly with the airline. Our continued complaints to the airline kept directing us to CheapOAir for a solution who would not acknowledge our issue. The reason given that directed the fault our way is that each airport provides a "minimum connecting time" which seems to be 1hr 15 mins for the particular airport in question.

    We made it to the connecting airline transfer desk 45 minutes before the flight and were informed we were too late to make the flight (even though our bags would have made it per the ticketing agent). We had essentially 15 minutes to deplane, take a bus from the tarmac into the terminal, pass through an x-ray security check and arrive at the transfer desk. This was our frustration. By the time we set foot in the terminal, our window of time had vanished and it costed over a thousand dollars out of pocket to preserve the rest of our trip. Never book a flight with a layover time set at the "minimum connecting time" for an airport is the lesson we learned the hard way. Always leave a bigger cushion especially if your airline requires you to check in inside the terminal at the transfer desk 60 minutes before a flight.

    I have booked many times with CheapOair for flights within Canada feeling reassured if there was a significant price drop I would be honoured with the lowest price. On June 16 I booked a flight and received an email confirmation. Within 45 minutes I received a promo email from CheapOAir showing that the flight was reduced by over $200!! I called customer service and they referred me to a different department who said “we match price only with our qualified competitors”. That meant they were unwilling to match the price because it was an internal (CheapOAir) price drop. That is NOT good customer service as only 45 min had passed.

    I have not used CheapOair for a long time. I am going on vacation and decided to try them by purchasing tickets. After the tickets were purchased I received a call to confirm and they asked if I wanted to pay for seat selections quoting me a price and offering me a coupon. The lady said that I could use the coupon for any purchase airfare or hotel. I tried to use it and couldn't. I called and asked about it and was told that it would only be used on certain flights and I would have to call the hotel to find out if they accept it. Which is why I asked prior to.     I am an international student in USA. I made the reservation from SFO to NJ day before my journey. I tried to check in for my trip where it asked to pay for both check-in and carry on bags. They didn't mention about it while booking. I am ok to pay for both bags. I made the reservation for the entire journey from SFO to NJ with CheapOair but they made two separate reservations for two connecting flights which made me pay twice for the baggage for single journey.     CheapOair staff could not manage to get our seating options correct and we were unable to get it corrected. On a round trip ticket, we wanted to upgrade our seats to aisle seats, but CheapOair clerk mistakenly booked our return leg so we could not upgrade. MAINCABIN, but not upgradable. It's a six hour flight and my wife requires frequent access to the restroom, so this restriction will make our flight very uncomfortable for her. CheapOair's supervisor Glenn sent me to AA to get upgraded and they did say they would pay for the aisle seat cost, but the ticket is non-cancellable and non-upgradable.

    AA says CheapOair is responsible for mistakenly changing the ticket. I called CheapOair back and was placed on hold for 20 minutes. I am not giving up on them. I spent 4 hours over two days on the phone talking to badly accented CheapOair staff and got nowhere. Apparently CheapOair uses long telephone wait time to defeat listener's complaints. I have booked with CheapOair multiple times over the years, but I've had it after this experience.

    The class of service was basic economy the cheapest fare, upgrading to the next fare would of cost you additional money, in the long run whether it was for ticket cost, or the seat cost. Letting the agent know ahead of time that you want a more expensive ticket because seats are important to you.     I booked round trip Abu Dhabi-Calgary. While trying to check-in for my Lufthansa flights Calgary-Frankfurt and Frankfurt-Abu Dhabi, Lufthansa and Air Canada (Operator of the flight from Calgary) sites did not accept the check-in. After more than 30 minutes online chat, the CheapOair rep informed that I needed to check-in at the airport as the flights were not being operated directly by Lufthansa.     I give a call to CheapOair to reserve my seat number and I requested a window seat for all my four flights. He said I gave you all window seats. During the call I asked him to give me a seat number so I can double check its window seat or not, he said to me that "yes all are window seats and I already sent you an email". However, after disconnecting the call, I check my email to verify the seats, and I am shocked. He gave me only 2 window seats and the other 2 are in the middle. He basically lied to me. CheapOair betrayed their customers. They think that customers are a fool, they will not check the information. This is an unbelievable customer service.

    If they don't have a window seat, they can simply say that sorry we do not have window seats but they can't say I gave you window seats just to hang a call. Incident doesn't stop there. I gave a call to CheapOair right after I come to know about this. I waited for 10 minutes before I reach out to the customer service department. I explained the incident to a guy and he told me that "my supervisor will help me out, can I put your call on hold for 3 to 5 minutes?" I said, "Ok, no problem". You believe or not I waited on hold for 1 hour 32 minutes and 45 seconds, at last auto-response says that thank you for the call, please stay on the line to give us a feedback regarding this call. And right after the call was disconnected.

    Hey CheapOair, what should I do? I will definitely not use your service anymore. Let me tell you this, I already used your website for my and family's several trips. But you know what, CheapOair will no longer hear from us, and I will post this horrible everywhere so people can move to the other before they experience anything like this in the future.

I received notice from his doctor that due to his condition he cannot travel.     I was unaware my middle name had to be included on my boarding pass. I called to have this added. CheapOair was demanding a 75.00 PER TICKET to make this change.     Bought a ticket 11 months in advance (we travel every 3-4 months so this is just what we do). CheapOair said the flight had canceled in March (flight suppose to be in May) and we were forced to buy another ticket on another airline for over 1100$ more. On the day we depart back to Saudi we see that our “canceled flight” was still there, and to make it worse, BA just canceled our flight two hours before departure. I almost lost my business seat (which 24 hours back to Saudi it’s horrible) and somehow within seconds of boarding I got a business seat back. Went through three flight cancellation with BA that day (Monday, June 24th). Not sure if it’s more CheapOair that we are so disappointed in or BA. All we know is that it was the worst experience we have ever had and we fly 3 to 4 times internationally every year.

    I called CheapOair about 30 minutes after my flight was booked because it would not allow me to pick me seats once I paid. I thought I had purchased main cabin seats but turns out I purchased saver seats and they just don't tell you that. When I asked about getting a refund because the tickets were cheaper on Alaska airlines website their phone started to break up so bad I could not hear the man at all on the other line. I then tried back again and was placed on hold for 45 minutes. I finally hung up.

    Today is 4 days after my purchased tickets and I got an email from Google stating my tickets dropped in price on Alaska's website. 300 dollars cheaper to be exact!!!     I've traveled extensively and used CheapOair a number of times in the past. I also worked in the technical industry the better part of my 40 year career. Today I purchased my tickets, carefully typing in the ticket information so that it matches our travel credentials "EXACTLY." I receive the confirmation email, open to review and find my first name has been truncated and my travel partner's last name has been changed to match my own? I call the number provided and they are asking an additional $34 to change the names on this purchase? No way...     Won’t use them again. First a guy calls at midnight waking me up to provide a seat selection (that wasn’t available at time of purchase) for me and my 7 year old to sit together for only 20$ More. I said, “Sure just let me go back to sleep.” About to the board the plane and the check-in desk realizes that we are not assigned to seats together and fixes it. We arrive at our destination and an emergency comes up at my company so I need to return a few days early.     Be extremely careful while purchasing from this site. It gives you a price and when you try to book it at that price then the ticket price increases by approximately 30%. I was working on booking an international trip, my price increased by $500 as soon as I pushed the "Book Now" button. So I discontinued my booking and used Travel One site.

    My experience with CheapOair started out great. Easy to book, saved some money, very pleasant experience. I called back several days later to request a change of date for my flight, to avoid being gone on Father's Day. I informed the representative as soon as I got on the phone that I was only interested in making a change if there wouldn't be any fees or a major price difference in the tickets. His response was "of course, no problem." So we found some to let's for one day earlier, I agreed to pay about 30 more per ticket because of different flight times. I said multiple times "so there are no fees....right?" Once again, great experience.

    A few weeks later, I checked my account and found not 1 but 2 charges of nearly 500 dollars (the price of my tickets) had been taken out of my account. I called to see what the deal was and after multiple calls, I was informed that the ticket difference was almost triple what I expected, and there was a 200 fee attached. After speaking with multiple people, I reminded them that the calls are supposed to be recorded and if we can listen to the call and confirm that I agreed to pay the fees, I'd happily pay them and count it as "a learning experience." They called me a few days later to tell me that they listened to the call and I had agreed to pay. I asked if I could hear the recording myself to confirm and hear "we will call you back in 2 days so that you can listen."

    After a week I called and was informed that it is illegal to let me listen to the recording. So I am now in a position where I have to take the word of the company that I already feel lied to me and ripped me off. The last person that I spoke with was kind enough to refund me 50 dollars, but I am still out about 350 that was unexpected. The rest of my trip was smooth, and outside of this disaster, I would have happily recommended CheapOair, and used them again. However, at this point I have warned all friends and family to stay clear, and I plan to seek out a more reputable company in the future.

    They draw you in with these prices that no other online booking site offers but the prices are a lie just to draw you in. Even if you try to book the flight with their so called miracle price it will not go through. Even they keep that stupid clock ticking to say you only have 20 minutes until booking can be held it is also a lie. I booked my flights for 1500 with credit card and all in under 10 minutes with 10 minutes still to spare according to their so called booking clock and after they said sorry that booking has been taken. Then they offered me another booking that was over 3000 dollars. The exact same price as all the other online booking sites.

    At least all the other online booking sites don't lie to draw you in with these fake prices. They at least show the real price. Of all of them I do not know who is best but I do know CheapOair is the worst. I even called to complain like that could possibly help. Don't waste two hours of your life that you will never get back needlessly. CheapOair is a bottomless pit of empty promises, lies and disappointment. Go book your flight with anyone but them. TRUST ME. There is nothing here that you would want!

    Please don’t believe any of those positive reviews. This page is a complete scam. We purchased an airplane ticket and they automatically change our flights day for “flexible days” without any explanation. When we tried to call them, we received a complete deceive answer, thieves. We called the airline and they couldn’t do anything for us. My advice: Pay a little more and save yourself a headache.

    The airlines had a flight schedule change, so I called CheapOair who did my booking. First time I called told the customer service what happen and the new flight time did not work for me. It had me arriving 10 minutes before my international flight took off. He said he work on it. Placed me on hold. 35 minutes later never return. Second time I called went on hold. They never answered at all 30 minutes went by. So third time I did a chat 2 hours 50 minutes back and forth and waiting on them. They never changed my flight. Said they were on hold with airline, would ask some questions, say wait, after over two hours they told me it was too late to change flight. They had closed for the day. I had to call airline, and they first refused to help. Said CheapOair had to change it. They were the agent. I only got it done after talking to airline manager. Don't use CheapOair.

    CheapOair does not help you get your ticket refund once your flight is canceled or delayed even if you pay for insurance. They’re liars. They’re liars liars liars liars liars. I will never fly to CheapOair or American Airlines again. They are in cahoots to steal people's money. Their customer service is very horrible. It all they do is change you from department to department for that the same person can start over telling you lies. They’re liars liars liars.

    I had to purchase a flight for work. Had to book quickly so went online. Got “suckered” into using CheapOair. Biggest mistake ever. A few days after I booked my flights our meeting was cancelled. I called to get a refund and cancel the flight. I do not recall ANYWHERE in booking the flight where it said it was non-refundable. But the guy on the phone in his thick accent said NO REFUNDS! Seriously. WORST SERVICE AND I WILL NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF USING THEM AGAIN.

    I booked the wrong date and had to change it. I caught the mistake the morning after. I’m flying to Colorado with my Bible college. When I reached out to correct the issue I was informed it would cost 75$ to correct the date. It was my mistake. I just think there should be a grace period of at least 24 hours. Because CheapOair quickly adds up when you consider the extra stuff. I believe in grace!

    Used their website to book a round trip from the USA to Sweden. I wish I had not. Painful website to use. Once I slogged my way through it and got the booking, I was barraged with calls and emails offering to upsell me. Plus, when I printed out my boarding passes, there was no gate assignment for the LAX leg. Got to LAX and could not find my flight. Not COA's fault, but even on their website they had no updated info. Wanted to change the return leg, and used their chat to try to do so. The person I got had no idea what she was doing, was a horrible communicator and tried to tell me the airline said I could not change my flight. I will not use this service again - there are too many other options for booking travel.

    Do not book with this company. I booked a flight from July 24-25. After paying for the flight, CheapOair changed the date to July 25-26. I have a job interview on the 25th at 11AM and I paid almost $300 for the ticket. Although the dates of July 25-26 are cheaper, I did not choose them because I would miss my interview time. If I wanted to travel between July 25-26, I would have paid 235 on a different website. Instead, CheapOair charged me 273 for a ticket I could have saved almost $40 on.

    They are supposed to be cheaper but they just bamboozled me out of money by changing the date of my flight and charging me more for a flight I could have saved a lot more money on. Now, I don't know if the company can even change my interview date. They might be booked. The interview is for a State Job and I do not even have savings. I made a BIG sacrifice spending all this money on the ticket and because this company robbed me and changed the date, I don't know if I can make the interview. Thanks for nothing!
