Book car through CheapOair with company Mex rent a car in Bucharest Romania and people at counter said that a 2000 dollars deposit was required and I agreed. Come to find out that it was not a deposit but other charges that you could not understand by looking at paperwork. CheapOair could not solve problem even though they agree that car rental charged by fraud that amount. They said that would try to help but I think they just try to tell me what I want to hear. They are still doing business with Mex rent a car. So CheapOair has helped me do business with fraudulent company and help me lose 2.000 dollars.

I recently had a multi city itinerary created by Nobal. I'm not sure of the spelling. It took a couple of days to finally figure it out. He was extremely patient and very thoughtful throughout the whole process. He returned my phone calls religiously. It was a great experience.

The agent was thorough (main booking) and the follow up agent was also helpful (seat assignment). I gave This medium rating because the receipts we received did not show the amount charged to our card. I had to contact the bank to see what was charged.

I called to change the date of my flight, the agent's name was Carmelita, she was very very great, she gave me all the quotes for fees and called me back after I went to the bank to deposit money, I was very pleased with her job performance. I gave her all 10 on the survey. A couple of hours later my bank account was charged for a ticket to Florida by CheapOair some $ 135.88.Of course, my bank immediately notified me and I had blocked my card. If it was honest mistake - OK, but if not, you have a criminal on your team of Customer Service reps. Very disappointed...

We have booked a ticket from NEW ZEALAND to Dubai with CheapOair with Emirates airlines & paid $150 for the exit row seat. Upon boarding the plane I found out that I was given a normal seat. I complained but the staff told me that there is nothing they can do & I have to contact Emirates which I did & they emailed me back saying They can arrange the refund but it has to be done through CheapOair as we bought the tickets from them. After many many chats & phone calls they promised to do the refund then nothing happened. We called again & they said they can't be sure that I was given the wrong seat & asked us to contact Emirates again! What a waste of time & energy, will never use them again for any future bookings.

One star is too much.. The ticket was definitely NOT cheap and insurance is even worse! Very sad to say the Cheapoair customer service team was absolutely no help, negative and didn't even try to attempt to help with a flight that was purchased by mistake on this site for the wrong airport. Once we realized the airport, we notified the customer service to exchange for the correct location and was denied. We even had purchased insurance! Guess how much that cost? An additional $100 just for the insurance and according to cheapoair, there are no exchanges, credits or refunds! The location of the in-correct airport is absolutely not an option to fly out of (as it is hundreds of miles away). We can not accept 'sorry but we can't do anything' when it comes to $700 expense total for 1 ticket that we just want a credit on. HELP!!

I booked a flight for Spirit Airline from Fort Lauderdale to Austin Texas round trip fro 2. The price was $277.20. At the confirmation page I noticed that no bags was included, I had to go back, call CheapO and they charged me for both checked and carry on $348.00. It is horrifying how they trick you. My last transaction ever. I strongly do not recommend this Company. I rather go to TripAdvisor or any other because they will go straight forward with all the info and charges, and will not reap of their customers. YOU WILL PAY MORE FOR THE BAGS THAN FOR THE TICKETS!!!! Be Aware!!!

Unfortunately they hired a lot of unprofessional and not knowledgeable staff. Your problems begin with CheapOAir if any flight changed/delayed in your itinerary. It’s almost impossible to reach them thru Chat or calls, they keep passing you to another agent until they hanged up on you! They are good of selling tickets but any problems may occurred they are nowhere to be found! NEVER AGAIN!!

Canceling sucks. I ended keeping my more expensive ticket with CheapOAir, because I would not get my money back for 7- 14 days and would have to pay a $25 cancelation fee. I would have been fine paying the $25 fee, but if the company can post to my account within minutes, I don't understand why they have to take 7 -14 days. I understand 3 -5 days, but 7 to 14 days seems ridiculous. I had order the ticket less than 4 hours prior to me reaching out, but if it had been after 4, then it would have been $50. Booking itself was easy and the customer service representative was good, but I won't buy from this company due to the long time it takes to return my money.

I booked a flight from Auckland to Wellington. I then waited for email confirmation but none was forthcoming. So I made contact with CheapOair and though I had an on-screen acknowledgement and payment pending on my credit card CheapOair had no record of my booking. All I can see that my experienced with that guy who is fast to take my hard earned money from scrubbing toilets no good education. He is fast to take out the money???? But never ever help me regarding the mistake that he or me done on misspelled letter S to letter H! Guys if one of your punting my finger to the agent who booked me really help me? This doesn’t make me shiny of waiting your reply call or action! You got the fee to change it $100 for Your company plus $25 for PAL but until now one day before my flight still not arrive? I lost my trust!! If only I can shout in my lungs???? My regrets??!! Why not checking it but I don’t lie I trust people that’s what I get!????

I had scheduled a flight to Japan for a vacation with friends, long awaited and warmly welcomed. Due to Typhoon Hagibis, my flight was delayed 14 hours, then (after I arrived at the airport) cancelled. JAL's support counter was closed and the JAL staffers encouraged me to call my travel agent. So I did. I was subjected to approximately 80 minutes of being informed, over and over, over, and OVER, and OVER again, that they could do absolutely nothing for me. That I needed to understand, they could do nothing until JAL opened their support desk again - which at first was supposed to be *on Monday* - this for a planned trip! This added cruel, pointless insult to what was already a genuinely horrible situation.
Fortunately I was able to arrange another flight, through the generosity of my friends, at least for the inbound portion of the trip... But when I called to ask more details about the reservation, I was told over and over again that they did not, could not know anything, and that I should contact the airline directly. I fully expect that I'm going to call JAL tomorrow - well, in a few hours, when they're open - and find out these people didn't ever book a flight for me at all! I certainly suspect it will take months for any refund or partial refund JAL issues to reach me. I would rather walk to an international destination than book with these people again.

Agents were very helpful and knowledgeable about product they were selling. They offered alternatives and provided great assistance. The agent for car rental advised me about free car insurance through my credit card provider and even called me back to make sure I had verified what he told me. I would highly recommend CheapOair to anyone who is travelling. All it takes is a search and check out what is offered. They were the most economical provider that I researched. Try them. I am sure you will have the same experience. This is repeat business for me.

I booked our flights in early April for a Nov. trip. The airline cancelled one leg of the return flight several months later. It literally took over an hour to get someone from CheapOair to book us on another flight so we could get home. Then to my horror I discovered she had booked us home 4 days later than our original plans. It took no less than 2 hours (mostly on hold) to get the mistake fixed. Even then they said to hang up and they'd call me back. It is just torture dealing with the customer service people. They are all overseas personnel so difficult to understand, they put you on hold constantly, and they are quick to transfer you to someone else which necessitates another long wait on hold. Frankly I'd rather not ever fly anywhere again if I had to use CheapOair.

The person taking my call tried very hard to be helpful and seemed knowledgeable but was hard for me to understand his accent. A charge was on my credit card that I didn't ask for due to not understanding what he was saying. It was taken off as soon as I called back questioning the charge.

First online experience - this is excellent. Reason why this is so useful is unlike many other tools - it does not just pin the selection based on the outbound airline selection. This helps me mix and match based on my timing needs. I have called them to modify my itinerary a couple of times. They are very courteous, professional and provide the best possible alternatives. They also ensure when a booking has mixed classes to let us know that in more than one way so as to minimize surprises. All of this amounts to an exceptional experience. One knock is they are slightly pricy on the service charges.

They found the hundred and one ways to scam. Look at TripAdvisor and their methods seem to change regularly over the years as many threads on this online agency. All the good reviews are written by the employees and the pr people. Scam scam.

I have never experienced anything like this. I'm always traveling back home to see my family but buy my flights with Expedia. This time I couldn't find flights with Expedia, so I bought them on CheapOair. I always get a protection plan just in case something happens, so I did. Sadly, I was facing a difficult situation just a few days later after I bought my flight, so I contacted them and they sent me to talk to the travel insurance I bought the protection plan with (THE ONLY ONE THEY LIST ON THEIR WEBSITE). The travel agency tells me to submit all my documentation supporting why I can't travel. I do so and then MONTHS later I receive a letter from them saying that they can't refund my money.
I call CheapOair to see if they can refund my money since they are the ones MAKING CUSTOMERS BUY THESE PROTECTIONS PLANS. They basically told me they can't refund the money unless I'm DYING or have to go to military service. WHAT THE ACTUAL ...? Then why would you make your customers buy these protection plans?! The worst part is that it was all they had!! There was nothing else I could get to feel free to cancel my flight and my situation IS VERY VERY COMPLICATED. Like I could have basically lost my entire family if I had taken that flight. Customer service where? This company is scam. I should've just used Expedia. Please avoid buying your flights with this company. Really, they don't care about you. They just care about money.

I booked a flight ticket through CheapOair. They charged my account and sent booking confirmation mentioning that you do not need to reconfirm, your booking has been confirmed. I prepared for my travel and when reached at airport, the airline declined any booking with them with my name or CheapOair booking reference. When I called CheapOair, the response was real cheap. They said, "There was technical default and so your booking was confirmed with airline." I did this booking in advance of one month. It ruined my whole travel plan, extra cost and trouble. They said my money will be refunded but still not credited to my account and it’s been more than a month. They are cheaters and thieves looking for a chance to steal others' hard earned money. This is what their real business. I beg someone/legal authorities to act against such fraud online agents. For CheapOair reference, the booking reference number is **.

I booked a round trip flight from Tucson to Burlington, Vermont for Dec 22 until January 4, 2020 and bought a non-refundable ticket. Little did I know that the ticket was leaving Christmas Day 12/25 and returning January 9, 2020, something I can not use and now I am out the money of ALMOST $600! Living off social security and got robbed by "Cheapo Thieves"!

I booked a flight from Atlanta to Ontario California, and when I got my confirmation It said my destination was LAX, I called them and asked what scam they were running and they said that I could book a flight to Ontario for 1000 dollars per person. Original cost was 558 dollars for 2 tickets. The person I spoke to didn't speak enough English for me to be able to understand him without getting majorly frustrated. They are trying to keep my money now. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE SCAMMING YOU!

First let me open with the air travel part of the trip went off without a problem. The issue I had was with the car rental portion. I booked a car rental for the portion of my trip. I was to be in New York. They had held my money and I thought all was ready to go. I am so glad I confirmed everything the day before. They canceled my car rental without notice. So I call to find out why and I was told the price I was offered for the rental expired while I was making the reservation. So I panic a bit as we are traveling for my other half's mother's funeral on limited money with no time to be messing around. I was in tears at this point and could not finish the call after the 'agent' I was speaking to told me my 100 dollar car rental was going to be 300 dollars.
After I calmed down a bit I called back to try and talk once more this time I was told my payment was denied for insufficient funds. I told them I was looking at my bank acct and I saw the hold for the original amount and there was a few hundred dollars left, to which she doubled down and told me it was insufficient funds and I could buy a new rental for 300 plus. At this point I hung up and called Priceline. I got the new car rental for the original price and had no issues for the remainder of the trip. I will never give these people my money again.

I was frustrated with my online experience. I was going to another site but decided to call instead. The agent saved the day. Would you rather I called your agent for service first? The main problem that your agent and I had was a 20% price discrepancy that only revealed itself after entering arduous information, repeatedly. ARDUOUS!. Misdirection. Do I need to join a club? Had to pay $75.00 for cancelation on the same day Booking # **. I was misled by 24 hours cancelation. I purchased a ticket on the 1st of October to Morocco, at first the total of travel time before I purchased the ticket indicate 13h 05 minutes but when I get the confirmation it indicates 41h 54 minutes. I immediately called 800 number to cancel, I was informed that there is a cancelation fee. I explained my situation and demanded from them to waive the cancelation fee since it is not what it indicates on the ticket that I purchased and still have a copy of the flight indication of 13h 5 minutes. The rep from CheapOair asked for couple minutes and upon his return he told me that the correct travel duration a little over 20 hours, I still demanded the refund without cancelation fee.
He asked for more time, when he returned he informed me of computer glitch. The actual travel time is a little over 13 hours, they emailed me the corrections and confirmation, soon afterward I found a ticket for less to the city closer to my destination, I called to cancel since I have seen on the ticket when I was purchasing 24 hours cancelation. But when I called I was surprised that they demanded over $100.00 cancelation fee. After arguing the person from CheapOair reduced the amount to $75.00. I paid the amount and canceled the ticket. I am really disappointed with the misleading information, I will think twice before buying from CheapOair again.

My rep was awesome! So rare to get good communication and felt like I was dealing with a 5-star boutique company the way this gentleman was. I have to say I was a bit nervous since the cost of the flight was low and wondered if I was being smart, but I feel they handled all objections without ever having to bring it up, by offering compassionate service.

I wish I can rate half a star but that is not an option. We booked our flights to Portugal and noticed we have been charged twice, so we called to fix the situation. After hours and hours of non-sense talk, we were told they will call the bank in a three way conversation but we will be charged (!!!). The first person we talked with - Maddox - indicated that the second charges were not from them (although they had the same confirmation number in our bank statement). Then we talked with his supervision Ryan - another at least an hour spent with no help, They told us again they don’t know how this happened.... I mean does this mean that their transactions are not secure?? We have still have to get our money back. We will never do any reservations with them, nor will we recommend to anyone to try them.

Had bought tickets two months ago and downloaded tbe app. Unable to check in or get my boarding passes. Called three times with them saying in a few more hours. 5 hours before my flight I called again and the guy said I had to check in at American Airlines.com I never had to do that before. It was in the others app and why didn't I get told that the first time I called. This is stressful enough. And why did I pay for boarding passes when I could have gotten them free on American Airlines website.
Checkin is always done on the airline website that you will be flying on within 24 hours before departure, using the airlines confirmation number.

I had no idea that I was on CheapOair website, I thought I was on Frontier website. I also didn't know that everything is an extra charge, ie seats, luggage, carry on, etc. It isn't any cheaper than any other airlines with all the add ons. Will never use this again!

I booked a flight from Houston to Denver. Unfortunately, my flight out was cancelled due to Tropical Storm Imelda. I called CheapOair and explained the situation and they did nothing but advise me to call the airlines direct - they wouldn't assist with cancellation or finding another flight. I asked about reimbursement of the fees which totaled $196.90. They told me they would only refund if the airline refunded my ticket cost. REALLY?? I contacted the airlines and was not able to get on a later flight; therefore, I cancelled the trip and they happily refunded my ticket price. I called CheapOair to get my refund and gave my information to the billing department and they transferred me to the schedule change department. I sat on hold for over 30 minutes just to have an agent pick up the phone and ask if she was Audible and when I responded yes, she hung up on me. 30 minutes wasted.
I called back and was on hold 15 minutes this time. They agreed to reimburse me "for the fee I have calculated" - so I asked - "Please confirm that amount as I want to make sure you are reimbursing the entire amount that I show was deducted from my bank account." Of course, he had to put me on hold again and asked if that was okay. I've played that game so I told him he could put me on hold but DON'T hang up on me as I've already been hung up on after waiting 30 minutes. The schedule change department could only reimburse a portion and they transferred me back to the billing/customer service department which is where I started...so frustrating...
I go back to billing and go thru everything AGAIN just to get my final reimbursement portion for the seat mapping. So far I have gotten an email that I'm being reimbursed $11.95 and $23.90 which neither amount tie back to any of the numbers they gave me on the phone or deductions from my bank account. I will not let this go until I get my full refund. They made a disappointing situation even worse. Needless to say I will NEVER use these people again. Their fees and customer service is RIDICULOUS and HORRIBLE.

Why would anyone use CheapOair!!? The change fee to change two tickets for our travel within Tahiti to one day later was $454 and the original cost for two one way tickets was $301. So, I was declined the amount for my airline tickets. I tried several times to correct it, but than I ran out of time, to reserve my airline tickets. I contacted an agent, and we have some difficulty with the online chat. We patiently worked together and the problem was solved rather quickly. I'm now ready to connect to my vacation in December. The service agent was excellent, outstanding in walking me through each step to assure my flights were all together with no problems.

I booked four tickets through them last night which did not mentioned included baggage on it but all other competitors were showing 2 baggage and already was on call with agent from other company who was giving ticket for sale price however I prefer to book through these guys as I saw some $15 off coupon pop up (I.e. guess what? That is scam too as I did not see any option to apply those).
Anyways now I am dealing with manager named Nilesh ** since morning and he said send this send this. Guess what? He is getting everything since say the CAD and USD option on FlightHub site is for language. I am like seriously man. Changed that and it keep changing the value every time you select CAD then value of ticket increase and for USD it goes down. That is not language feature. It is surprising that being manager of this big ticket booking company he doesn’t know what that means. Still getting here and there and planning to kill my price match time which supposed to expire.
I am like, "That is the most dirty game you can play with your clients." Guys in Canada if you need ticket find someone else. Anyone else but these guys. It is kinda funny that even after sending email conversation with other company sales guys this manager still does not accept that they are wrong. Still waiting for his reply but guess what? Wasted whole day just dealing with these guys. Worst scam for tickets ever with managers who prefer to waste your time so that you go away instead of helping. I made reservations for a trip thru CheapOair. Imagine my surprise when I saw the charges to my credit card. I called and had them to cancel some of the things and then called back to cancel my flight. The young nonspeaking clearly man told me I shouldn't have cancelled my coverage if I knew I wanted to cancel my flight without penalties. He was so mattered of fact to me and repeated himself. I TOLD HIM OFF, REPORTED HIM WITH NOTHING OF COURSE HAPPENING TO HIM. I called back and eventually had everything applied back to my credit card but has since contacted the Better Business Bureau. Cheapoair is a rip off and have lots of foreign people working for them. I will never ever use them again and advise all others not to either. Wolfe and Ronnie needs to be fired. CheapOair is the worst discount travel agency I've dealt with! I booked a trip with CheapOair in March of 2019 for travel in December of 2019. I booked it this far in advance so that I get decent prices on the flights. My flights were confirmed by CheapOair and good to go so I also booked the hotels at my destination to coincide with these dates. One month after I booked the trip, CheapOair contacted me to let me know that the airline had cancelled our departure flight and that they were bumping us out by one day. I contacted CheapOair and they told me that it was out of their control and that the airline had the right to change flights if need be. I had to change the hotels I booked to accommodate the flight change and that cost me extra money. After pushing back, I reluctantly accepted the change.
Then 3 months prior to departure, CheapOair contacted me again to let me know that the airline had now cancelled our return flight and they would be bumping us out by one day for our return flight. I contacted CheapOair to let them know that this was not acceptable as it would cost me more money again to book a hotel for the extra day. CheapOair tried to tell me again that the airline had the right to change flights. I was not happy so I asked that my issue be escalated to a higher up.
After spending hours and days on this, nobody at CheapOair was able to assist me. I even emailed their CEO Sam Jain who didn’t even respond to my email. At the end, they offered me a refund and a $25 gift certificate to CheapOair for my inconvenience. I let them know that the reason I had booked my flights 9 months in advance is because I wanted to ensure that I get decent prices on my flights. Giving me a refund 3 months prior to departure is not going to help me find similar flights on the dates that I needed them on. They did not seem to care! Save your money and go elsewhere! Do not book with CheapOair!

I booked a trip thru Cheapoair to Florida. Due to the hurricane we had to cancel our trip. I understood the $50 fee per passenger cancellation and I wasn't refunded any of the $70 car rental. I was told I'd have a $300 credit to use towards others flights. I've talked with 13 different phone reps thru cheapoair in the past week trying to use my credit to which I was constantly transferred and put on hold to be ultimately told that they would have to call me back (which never happened) or that the flights I saw posted on their website weren't really available. I also tried emailing them, to which the person told me I'd have to just call the airlines directly (even tho cheapo website says I can only call them directly to use a credit with them). This morning after being transferred again, put on hold, and tears, I was finally able to get booked using my credit. I will never use cheapoair again.

I first became a CheapOair customer in 2013, and really thought that I had found a great service, and had purchased domestic and international flights and hotel reservations between the US, South America, Canada, Europe, Asia, Australia, but I'm sorry to say that this once-reliable and trustworthy site has turned on me and is now advertising flights at rates the airlines won't actually honor.
I purchased a round-trip United Airlines ticket on Cheapoair between LAX and Austin TX for $434. A few days later, as I normally do, I went onto the UA site to link my frequent flier account with the Cheapoair-purchased flight details, only to find that my outgoing UA fight was NOT VALID - the return flight was OK, but UA said the fare rules for my outgoing flight were not valid and they put a $190 or some small fare credit on my account with which to find another outbound flight to Austin - but I would also have to pay $200 in change fees in order to use the $190 credit - and by the way, by the time I found out that my flight to Austin that Cheapoair had sold me was no good, there were no other UA flights available at that time - the only other flights were hours later, when I would have lost the whole evening, or early that morning, when I would have had to have taken a vacation day (and I don't have any left - so not possible).
So now, I've spent 8 hours on the phone with Cheapoair, United Airlines - everyone points the finger at the other company and blames the other one for why they can't refund my money. Well I know that it was Cheapoair that took the money, and CheapoAir that advertised (and confirmed my purchase of) the United Airlines flight that United Airlines says was not purchased according to their fare rules - as if I had anything to do with that! I will never spend another dime with either Cheapoair or United Airlines- DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME AND DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH EITHER CHEAPOAIR OR UNITED AIRLINES.

I called CheapOair yesterday to change my flights out of Freeport Grand Bahama where our airport was destroyed by the category 5 Hurricane Dorian which I explained to the representative. I had to change our place of departure to Nassau which still has a functioning airport as they are on a different island (for which I still have to get boat tickets to reach). The changes ran me a total of $855 for tickets that initially cost me $1000+ dollars so it’s as if I was charged almost double for them.
While I appreciate the fact that they were able to change my ticket the additional cost was crippling. I don’t know who can read this but a little compassion would be appropriate and appreciated since most airlines waived their change or cancellation fees for victims of this hurricane and I was not given an option for a refund so I could just rebook the tickets. Anyway, long story short I spent money that could have gone towards essentials like drinking water and food just to change a ticket because of such a devastating natural disaster. If anyone can read this a do something about it, I would appreciate it. I am attaching photos of our airport so you can see it’s impossible to fly out of here.

I booked a family trip through CheapOair. Their browser showed my search results with a few fastballs thrown in. I had booked the cheapest option not realizing they changed our return date by one week! When I called I was told to pay $50 per passenger to change the flight. Then a week later it was changed again, to more undesirable terms, but I had no option to cancel. These changes ruined our plans, changed our destination, and threw a monkey wrench into our trip. Why are they allowed to change our travel times and connecting flights and we must agree? So at that point the flights we booked were no longer needed and we chose a closer destination.
CheapoAir didn’t help. In fact, they kept most of my money from the original booking. Over &2,000. They also charged additional money for us to go half the distance, one way. With little research I learned they are not even saving the consumer money over the carrier's prices. While rebooking half the reservation and on the phone with a Cheapo representative I was told to “go ahead and rebook with carrier directly for a lower fare.” So in the end we spent another $2,000 for the correct flights one way. In total we paid $6,000 to take a trip valued at $1,000. All thanks to CheapoAir. Moral of the story: If you are human do not book with Cheapo. Simple clerical errors could cost you the entirety of your booking. And they’re not cheap at all!

I booked a flight online and received confirmation. Later that night I get an email telling me "We are sorry but we are unable to complete your booking and I need to re book or call up". I then think wow I was reluctant to do business with them in the first place and sure enough I see why. So I take the email serious and figure I don't have a reservation so I book elsewhere. I then get credit card charges for the booking that wasn't complete per their email. I try to resolve and am told I can't cancel. Cancel what I say? Per the email I had no complete booking. After numerous phone calls the supervisor tells me if the email they sent me mentioned my destination instead of only the first leg of my trip only then could he refund. OH my God Really. Regarding booking #**. I originally booked a flight with CheapOair from Los Angeles to Phuket on August 9 for under $500 after I got a tip from Google flights that fares were very low during Feb 2020. On August 9 I got an email saying that there was a problem with my credit card verification. I did not see the email unit August 12, when I called support, the fare had gone up and I agreed to the change in fare and paid $580 for my ticket. (This should have been red flag #1.)
At the time I did NOT notice that my name was not my full name as on my passport. I always fill out my last name as the full hyphenated 2 word last name if it is used for a legal situation. A few days later, I noticed that the name was only one last name of my hyphenated name on the itinerary. I saw on your website a number to call for issues. I don’t know why only part of the name showed up. I put it aside for the time, being very busy at work. I thought it was a mistake by CheapOair and easily fixable.
Today, I got a message from CheapOair that something in my flight had changed, so as I was looking for that change, I remembered I hadn’t called about the name. So I phoned the support desk. He told me I could not change my name and that I had filled out only part of it. I disagreed, because I know my own name. I asked for proof and he could not give it to me.
I have traveled internationally many times for work (not much for pleasure), and know that you cannot have a different name, as they won’t let you on the plane, so he told me that basically after all the cancellation fees and charges, plus a $100 charge from CheapOair, I would only get $131 of my original $580. He tried to get another flight for me and discount some of the cancellation fees, but it was too much for me to pay, after paying almost $600 for the first flight, then only getting $231 in refund I’d then have to pay $700 for the new flight plus $50 for their cancellation fee and I was extremely upset. I would not recommend CheapOair to anyone. I am now out $450 and not going to see my friend in Phuket like I had imagined. I should have known this was too good to be true. This is my hard-earned money that I just threw away because my name wasn’t the same on my ticket as on my passport.

After much discussion, I was told I had to pay $75 fee. I finally got to talk to a manager who promised full refund within 3-5 days days. Hello guys, I suggest never purchase flight tickets from CheapOair.ca. I had worst experience ever. Let me share my recent experience. I made a huge mistake of buying a round trip from above website, I got my tickets in email. I had not wrote my middle name at the time of booking (it was an optional) but in ticket there was a note, "Please contact us for any name change or date." (Yes I had taken protection plan with extra money 2nd MISTAKE). I phoned on 845 848-0193. (Please do not call. It is not toll free). A customer care agent was not well aware and his lack of information cost me a lot. First he said, "You cannot add your middle name now. You have to cancel this booking." I asked sir I have a protection plan (for change date, name correction), but now the real picture started, He said, "No you cannot, and you only have a few hours to cancel this booking." (I phoned within 1 hr of booking.)
2nd fraud: Protection plan works only for first 24 hours and there is no any note while you purchase such protections. 3rd thing was A TIME ZONE (lol yeah). He said, "We are considering Vancouver time." I am in Ottawa. At the end just to make sure I went to Airport and asked to airlines. They checked my passport and said, "You good to go, we don't need middle name. First and last name is enough for boarding." CheapOair customer care was saying you must have to add. I purchased two tickets with return flights from Atlanta to Las Vegas, NV. The flight leaving was fine and we were charged an additional fee for luggage when we got there. We had one bag a piece. My friend and I go to check in online and discovered the return date was incorrect which on the information was for the night before a Thursday night/Friday morning and we scheduled for a Friday night/Saturday morning leave date. I call them up to try to fix this or something and after being on the phone for an hour and a half there was no fixing the situation. The representative charged the funds for a possible flight without giving me any flight information and stated he would call me back.
I advised, "Never mind. We will work something else out." He told me could not release the funds he had charged for a flight I was not going to take and I didn't have information for. He then tried to give me flight information and told me there was nothing he could do to assist any further after being on the phone the second time for at least 45 more minutes. How can you take money first and not provide information. Once he called me back he would not allow anyone above him to speak with me and told me he could not issue a refund on the funds he was holding for a flight I did not take or want. How can you charge someone for something ahead of the acceptance and not issue a refund when you're told I don't want the service. That is exactly what happened to me while dealing with this company. They took my money and did not provide the service.

He was very detailed and tried to find the best time, date and flight since I was flexible on all that. He stayed on the phone with me for a good amount of time and did not complain for my changes I had him made. He tried to accommodate my needs the best he could. They use a tactic of offering “alternate dates” blended in with the requested dates. When working on a mobile device, seeing the difference is complicated. I accidentally booked the alternate date, but when I got the confirmation, immediately called to cancel the flight. They charged me $25 even though I called with 5 minutes of the booking. This was their fee, not the airline. I asked if we could apply that fee to the correct date, they said no, and wanted to charge me an additional fee to change the flight. This company advertise in New Zealand Dollars and then charge in U.S. Dollars which works out much more and when I sussed this I asked to cancel my booking within minutes and was told I had to pay a cancellation fee of $50 US. The change from my previous booking was handled properly. I am satisfied. But the reason for my change does not sit too well with me. I had previously scheduled a trip to the same location on the same dates. I was told that there was no refund for previous trip. The reason I changed was that the trip was taking almost 24 hours from beginning to end. The itinerary was very confusing, thus my change to a direct flight. I wish that I had gotten a refund for previously scheduled trip.

I booked our flights initially with no problem online only to realize there was a conflict with the dates and needed to change it. I called customer service and the gentleman helping me was extremely patient and helpful. I even apologized for being so difficult and he replied "Please don't be sorry, this is what I'm here for". Not many companies have customer service like this anymore. We were on the phone for about an hour trying to find replacement flights that would work for us. Finally got it! Couldn't be happier!!

Despite paying an additional fee for trip insurance (that said it covered cancellations), they refused to cancel a ticket that was purchased 5 mins prior. It was my mistake for booking a flight that had a 12 hour layover that I didn't see until after purchase, but absolutely ridiculous I couldn't adjust my flight after calling back less than 5 mins after I reserved the flight. Absolutely would not recommend using this service. Also, the insurance is pretty worthless so if you do go through them it isn't worth the extra cost.

I have asked CheapOAir multiple times to submit my refund for the $15.95 Trip Protection Insurance. I cancelled my trip on 7/9/19 due to me being admitted into a convalescent home after having surgery. American Airlines has already submitted my refund from them and I've been getting the runaround from this company for over 2 months. I spoke with Sheldon on 7/26 and his supervisor confirmed I'd be getting the refund in 2 days. I called again on 7/30 and spoke with Amanda. She said I'll have to wait 2 weeks for the refund to be processed.
I again called on 8/13 and spoke with both Jeremy and Jack from billing. They claimed that my refund needed to be resubmitted and it'll again take 2 weeks before I see it credited to my card. I then get a call from 1800-525-0400 on 9/1/19 claiming that I wasn't going to be getting my refund because they have no record of CheapOAir taking the $15.95 payment. I told them I could show proof (my credit card statement) and was then told to email the proof to their billing department. I know the amount is only $15.95 but having to go through all this just to get a refund is beyond ridiculous and I'm definitely not happy with this company.

Didn’t need my return flight purchased from this website. Bought travel insurance because I was aware this might happen (for an additional $10). The website claims buying this insurance will allow for flight cancellation protection. Called to cancel it, the representative said, “No, this only protects if it you can prove an unforeseen event”. This was a horrible experience... I don't plan to ever use CheapOair again. I found a flight on their website that I wanted to book for myself and my wife, but wanted to use two different credit cards, so I thought it would be better to call. But that turned out to be a disaster. First I talked to two different agents and neither one could quote the same price as on their site. Also, after giving specific date and time range details and providing some options which weren't ideal and waiting for me to decide, I ended up finding a flight on their site that was ideal that he didn't mention, I did a better job of finding the best flight than this "agent".
Then he gave me a price and said it was available for both tickets. But he took such a long time to book the first one because he kept going over the same information I gave, that he then said the same price was not available... even though he told me it was before. It cost over $100 more! He was worse than worthless! It took well over an hour to book two tickets! I should have just dropped the whole thing since in the end I wasn't even able to get assigned seats at the time for us, which is the reason I called in the first place. Then, even after going over and over dates and times, he actually called me back to go over the dates a fifth time. Never, ever again will I use this company with such pathetically bad agents.

I always used book flights through CheapOair before as I used to get cheap flights. However, they never gave clear answers about the baggage allowance, suggesting that I contact/see the airlines/policies. Always got two checked-in baggage for transatlantic flights. This time however, I booked a ticket for my wife with Qatar Airlines (through CheapOair) code-shared with Air Canada but was charged for 2nd baggage.
They are difficult to contact and put the blame on Air Canada rules. However, Air Canada and Qatar Airlines refute them saying that it is the fault of CheapOair to mention 1 baggage on our ticketing. This, however, was never mentioned on our ticket. The link only provides non specific information. In such a case where the airlines computer shows one baggage, why does the customer's ticket not show the same clearly!? They are cheating by acting as if offering a cheap ticket but actually getting us charged more as we need to pay extra for baggage. I am never going to buy ticket from them and will inform everyone I know of this.

I booked a ticket to St. Lucia with this company which was cancelled by the airline due to weather. Long story short they gave a run around for two days about receiving airline credit. I had to threaten to sue and report to the BBB before a "supervisor" came on the line. My sister who booked with Expedia was given this same credit I was asking for in 20 mins from start of call to finish. CheapOair had me on the line for minimum 1 hour each call (6 total calls). Between chat and call I spent a total of 7-8 hours over two days trying to receive the credit that I was entitled to.
They told me "they couldn't reach the airline," that it "was closed," the "number was out of service". Meanwhile I called the airlines and spoke to them myself. I was told by the airline (LIAT) that because I booked through an agency I would have to seek a refund or credit through the agency. The only thing the airline could allow me to do was rebook my dates with no penalty. However because of the storm warning and cancelled flights my entire family vacation was cancelled and I was no longer going to be needing flights to St. Lucia. My sister in this same position called Expedia, who she booked with, and within 20 mins Expedia gave her credit to use with the airline that had to be booked through their site within one year.
CheapOair/OneTravel (same company apparently) when they finally got through to my airline after I told them they are lying because I was on the phone with them and provided all the numbers for them to call (ridiculous - you would think as an agent for an airline they would be able to contact it) - which btw they said they needed to contact the airline to verify the flight cancellation - Expedia just checked the website where it was stated along with all other impacted flights - and issued the credit, they didn't need to call the airline. Ugh this could on on forever - two days of non stop battling with this horrendous company, I will never finish retelling all the details of this nightmare.
Basically CheapOair will offer you no credit if your flight is cancelled. They are the WORST TO CONTACT. They take forever to answer their lines. You press the number for the department you want and wait ten mins.Then someone answers spends 5 mins taking all your info only to tell you "I have to transfer you to the right department". You wait another 20 mins to then give another rep all the info over again. Everyone says a different story. They have no in-house communication. All clueless and can offer you nothing in terms of adequate customer service. I strongly suggest doing away with this absolutely useless middle man called "CheapOair" unless you want to spend hours of your life trying to get credit you are entitled to back from them if your flight happens to cancel.
End of story: I finally got the credit. Called back to rebook a flight to Barbados. Called once and this guy was about to book me. Got disconnected, missed the call back, and had to call back. Wait another hour to then be told by a different rep that I could only use this credit towards St. Lucia not to a different destination. Told him that is UNTRUE... and he says he needs to contact the airline!!! So another nightmare ahead trying now to use my credit. What a JOKE. I will never use this company again. In fact I will use Expedia or I will book direct. I suggest you do the same.
I believe this company to be a scam. Expedia help the credit for my sister. This company tried every which way possible not to give me that option. Lied to me that airline contact was out of service, lied about what the LIAT agent told them (I spoke to LIAT myself and the agent at LIAT told me I was to be offered what my sister got from Expedia, that the airline allows agents the credit). CheapOair wanted to only offer me - 24 hour penalty fee schedule change to the same location. If I had booked through the airline direct I would have had my credit and already been able to use it toward new tickets to a different destination.
This agency is trying to rob me of my ability to do so. Locking me into rebooking the same destination that I can no longer go to or I lose my money. It is NOT RIGHT. They are not offering their customers anything but a headache. This is SCAM WEBSITE. They do not offer you good or fair service. They rip you off. Nightmare TO CALL AND COMMUNICATE WITH. JUST PLAIN AWFUL. I WISH THEY WOULD BE SHUT DOWN!!!!

In reading through the reviews, I see that my experience is similar to many others. I booked flights. Wanted to change one of them when I realized I had misread the layover time. I was on the phone for nearly 2 hours - on hold most of the time - with a service rep. to accomplish this. The flights were re-booked and I was satisfied.
The day before the trip I went on-line to check in and the check in page said "CANCELLED." This in spite of the fact that I had a confirmation e-mail and a booking and confirmation number, and no e-mail indicating any changes or cancellations. This was the beginning of the nightmare! After hours on hold with a service rep. I was assured that I had been re-booked on the "cancelled" flight. However I would have to pay $120.00 more because the cost of the flight had gone up. The agent assured me I would get a $20 voucher for my next booking. Big deal!!!! I was desperate. So I accepted that and said OK.
A few hours later I got two e-mails, 2 minutes apart - one confirming the flight I wanted and one confirming the flight I had cancelled at my initial booking but with no confirmation numbers! I went online again to try to check in and the flight was still marked cancelled. After one more long phone call, my booking was reinstated within hours of my flight. I will never use CheapO again. They lie, they manipulate. They cheat!

For the first three weeks all I was told was that the Schedule Change group would eventually contact me with no mention of when. This is unacceptable for someone planning international travel. I purchased a plane ticket about a month ago for an upcoming trip in October. Bought the ticket through CheapOAir, I'd used them previously and had a good experience. The ticket prices were really low, and I was pleased with that, however when I checked out I was surprised to find there were no fewer than 8 different kinds of "insurance" offered by CheapOAir. This was new for me. I bought two of them, one to cancel without charge, one to rebook without charge.
A couple weeks later I had a work conflict come up and had to change the ticket. Called CheapOAir and was shocked to learn that not only did I NOT have the protections I thought I'd purchased, but it would be $99 to rebook the flight. The Cust. Service representative was nice but kept telling me there were only 2-3 seats left on the new date I'd chosen, and the cost of the new ticket would be an additional $53. I was absolutely floored, and told him I was going to check with the airline directly to see if they had a better option. He THEN told me it would NOT be cheaper, because, and I quote, "We get our rebooking prices directly from the airlines. They get that money, not us." I thanked him and told him I needed to think about it, then hung up.
I went to the airline's website (Frontier Airlines) and found that it would be FREE for me to rebook the flight because I'd originally booked it over 90 days in advance. There was a $26 dollar ticket cost difference that I had to pay, less than half of what I'd been told over the phone. I re-booked the ticket directly with Frontier.
While I did not end up paying that extra $127, I was furious. I've used CheapOAir in the past and never had an experience like this. The fact I was lied to was infuriating, and the fact the representative didn't make any attempt to help me out just rubbed salt in the wound. Finally, what's the point of offering all those insurances if none of them work? If CheapOAir is going to offer all those options, they should provide what they say they do without all these loopholes ensuring customers shell out $8-$30 per insurance, just for nothing. I definitely wasted about $13 on their so-called "insurance," which isn't a whole lot but for someone like myself living on a budget, that's money I can't afford to just throw away.
I will not be booking through CheapOAir again. There are plenty of other flight booking sites out there that don't nickel and dime you the way these guys now do, and they're more honest and straightforward. If you choose to use this company, I highly encourage you to compare with other sites, and consider booking directly through the airlines if possible.

The rep was extremely helpful - found me great flights! BUT the extra amount I had to pay was so expensive. I had to cancel a flight in August and understand the $100 fee to cancel and even understand paying extra $200 to rebook - but it still cost me an extra $369 which makes my total app. $890 for round trip to COU from RDU. I also cancelled a flight in August for my 6 year old granddaughter and pretty sure I will not reschedule that one so will lose that app. $420! Just think you could understand that sometimes there are emergencies! But still appreciate the rep being so helpful when I had to rebook.

CheapOair chat service was very poor. A very simple inquiry asking for number of kilos allowed for check-in baggage for my Malaysian Airline trip was not answered even though I have provided my booking number. They still asked for phone number and phone billing address that I have provided which I cannot remember as I have lived in many places recently and have provided all the addresses and multiple numbers I have used in the past 2 years and still they were not able to find my details.
Chatters Una, Georgette, and Heriberto didn't even offer any other ways to help me with my situation. It was a very simple question "How many kilos allowed for my check in baggage for my Malaysian Airline flight" as I have another flight to catch prior to that flight which allows me 40kg, that's why I want to know how many is allowed with my Malaysian Airline flight I booked in CheapOair. And I wonder why they can't find my information, and I don't remember in the first place that these information were asked before I booked in CheapOair. These situation made me very very uncomfortable and traumatic as CheapOair services are really way way below expectations and very unhelpful. I will never book with CheapOair anymore.

He went to airport and was told that he was lucky the plane was not fully booked as there was a problem with his ticket booking. This company is really a scam. They fixed it and he went to Ethiopia airport to make sure also his flight was really booked. He received a dodgy email 3 weeks after he booked his ticket. I had booked a roundtrip flight with CheapOair from Milan MXP to Newark EWR with a 1.5 hour layover in Brussels. While trying to check-in online and print my boarding passes for my upcoming flight, I was unable to check-in or find my boarding pass from Brussels to Newark. When I called customer service I was told that I would have to check-in at the desk once I arrived in Brussels. It boggles my mind that I would have to check-in at my layover location and makes absolutely no sense, whatsoever. I feel like this is a ploy to make me miss my flight and pay for yet another flight. I've taken hundreds of flights in my life and I have NEVER had to check-in again during a layover. The ticket was booked as ONE TICKET, not two separate trips. I am beyond disappointed in this site as I have used it often. I will not be using it again.

LAX—SEOUL Round trip booking #**. This flight schedule had two transit stops in China. The departure boarding Sichuan Air at LAX would be refused without additional ticketing for China—Seoul flight to avoid over transit period in China. Sichuan Air acknowledged their flight change caused this over transit period and sent me adequate remedy for the additional ticketing purchased at LAX.
The main issue is that the return flight from Seoul was completely refused because the CheapOair schedule showed the over transit period in China. I had no choice but finding next flight in two days and purchasing new return ticket to LAX. CheapOair had been informed of this problem in April and they kept misleading the issues and tossing this matter around different staffs, not intending to settle for adequate remedies so far. CheapOair is playing REALLY CHEAP and AGGRAVATING. I will go as far as they go publicly and legally. Mike

On June 16th I booked a flight from DFW to Brisbane, Australia; departing August 4, 2019. (Booking Number **). My credit card was charged 1072.00 on June 11, 2019. My trip was cancelled in mid-July due to medical reasons and I contacted CheapOair and cancelled my flight. Although my was cancelled I was entitled a refund. I contacted CheapOair on July 23, 2019 to inquire about my refund and was told the airline, Qantas would have to refund the ticket. I contacted Qantas and was told the Airline does not issue refunds because CheapOair does not fund the ticket until the aircraft departs.
I re-contacted Cheapoair and was told the only refund would be 201.04; taxes incurred on the ticket price. Exhaustive research confirmed Qantas does not receive funds until the aircraft departs. I contacted CheapOair AGAIN on August 14, 2019 and after one hour attempting to speak with a non-English speaking employee I ask for the legal department and was transferred to a Supervisor who told me CheapOair did not have a legal department. The headache was enormous and I highly recommend avoiding CheapOair at ALL cost.

I have purchased tickets from the US to India several times with CheapOair, and I have been consistently satisfied with both the application process, and the flights themselves. There needs to be a little more clarity regarding meal and seat preferences. This most recent order I did over the phone, and I requested Aisle seats and vegetarian meals, but these did not show up on the ticket I was emailed. Still, it's not that big a deal to do these preferences later.

Buy a flight ticket last Saturday and before I buy I see the flight itinerary and tell me 2 stop flight and after I buy the ticket that changes the itinerary to 4 stop flight. I call to cancel the ticket. They told me I will ge my for getting my money back I had to wait between 7 and 40 days. It's crazy. They take my money in 5 minutes and now I had to wait from 7 to 40 day to getting back.

My family of five was stranded at LAX, 10 hours from our home in Northern California because of CheapOair. They changed our flight times several times. The last time was the day before we were to leave. They made it the flight time so early there was no way I could get transportation from my family from our hotel to the airport in time to get on a plane. Not only did I pay for tickets, five of them, that I couldn’t use I also had to rent a car to drive 10 hours home. I will never use them Again.

I had purchased round trip direct flight from your website on date April /19/ 2019. Eva Airline Direct flights SFO TO TEP. Total cost 1 Adult + 1 child : US $ 2136. 68. Plus Travel Protection Plan: US$ 144.90. Total cost: US$ 2281.58. Eva Airline went on strike on JUNE/20. My flight got cancelled. I contact CheapOair online agent for hours. No positive response. No any answer for any option. Got hold with Cheapoair agent on the phone, who surely on the recorded line told me I can’t swap for different airlines. I had to stick with EVA, or I had to cancelled the tickets and rebook it. She ended up charged me two single tickets for different airlines for me and my son on date June/21 /2019. She didn’t told me it was two single trip tickets. Total cost: $ 3983.17 With one stop flight (NOT even direct flight from SFO TO TEP).
Later on I learn that many people who were also with EVA flights got cancelled and they were either with Expedia or different third party agencies online,managed to swap them to different airlines without any additional charge. I had confirm with EVA Airline headquarter office, they offer all the agents and guests for free reschedule / swap to different airlines without any additional charge. Turn out CheapOair is all about getting more money out of victim’s pack, or maybe it is just that unprofessional agent’s mistake. I have to spent additional US $ 1,701.59 for something that was already stressful and inconvenience that actually was not even necessary To cancel my original flights and rebook to two single flights and charge me for more... Because Cheapoair has not protect the passages rights! I have contact CheapOair by phone and emails regarding to the misleading overly charged issue. No positive response.

CheapOair - I was on the website, my card was not being accepted, so I was going to Expedia.com. I was going for another ticket company and you should as well. CheapOair called me 20 times, I finally picked up. They asked if I would like to book over the phone, I said, "Sure." They asked for my card info, I gave it to them, it did not work. They then they asked me personal questions - social security number etc. I denied and said forget it. Went back online with Expedia.com, same card, no problems, got my ticket 45min. Later received an email from CheapOair saying I purchased a ticket. I called, they would not give me back my money. The bank treated my situation as a return, this was not a refund but an unauthorized use of my bank account. Stay away. If you are on the fence....GO somewhere else. Even if you are not on the fence, vote by not going with CheapOair.

I usually purchase flight tickets through CheapOair, I purchased a ticket for My Parents who were travelling from Toronto To Hyderabad (Via Montreal--Doha---Hyderabad) through CheapOair which is operated by Air Canada (from Toronto to Montreal) and Qatar airways (from Montreal to final destination). In the ticket under baggage information it said 2 Luggage bags are allowed along with one cabin bag per person. But on the day of travel, Air Canada crew asked me to pay $100 (CAD) each. In-spite of arguing I happened to pay $200 (CAD) for both.
Before 15 minutes of Boarding time from Montreal, I got a WhatsApp call from my dad, he said Qatar airways were asking them to pay another $661 (CAD) for both. My parents have Money with them but it is not sufficient to pay the specified amount and they don't know English to communicate with Airline authorities. Crew Manager was rude and ask my parents to pay the specified amount or their baggage will not be allowed on flight, when I spoke with him on call and explained that I already paid $200 in Toronto, he said that's for Air Canada and $661 is for Qatar Airways and he neither gave me an option to pay online nor gave me time to think as the time left was 10 minutes to board the flight.
My request for CheapOair is to provide exact information based on that we (passengers) will be well-prepared. Firstly, my parents were attending my grand-mom's funeral and they were in deep sorrow and secondly, they were in tensed as everyone was boarded on flight except them. Without their proper information provided on itinerary I had to pay $861 for the whole trip just for the baggage.

I had written a bad review regarding a change in my itinerary and wanted to cancel. The airline had cancelled one of the flights without offering a new flight. After a couple days they finally came up with another flight that we found unacceptable. There was a process for a few days in which I was transferred from one associate to another, promised callback but not followed through. I took to ConsumerAffairs to vent my frustration. Finally CheapOair contacted me regarding the problem. We talked the situation through and came to a satisfactory resolution. The associates that helped with the problem were great. They promised callback and did, letting me know what was going on. I give credit to CheapOair for stepping up.

We booked flight with connecting flight. Connecting flight cancelled, flight change was not acceptable so we want to cancel. It's been three days trying to get information. I have been transferred back and forth on phone. Don't have time to just wait on hold for someone. Was told I would get a callback, never happened. Called today, they inform me system is down. As the airline cancelled our overseas flight for no reason, We called CheapOair for a replacement flight. We were put on hold for more than an hour before we could get to an agent who dealt with flight cancellation. We were told that CheapOair could not replace the flight and we must buy new tickets. We asked for a refund for the cancelled flight and the agent transferred our call to another agent. After waiting for another hour or so, we finally spoke to an agent who told us that he would process the refund. It has been more than a month and we have not received the refund yet. We would not buy from CheapOair again knowing that we will spend hours on the phone when something goes wrong, like the airline cancels the flight.

After completing my booking online, I received a call from a caller identified as "82539 - India CC", which looks a little suspect. But it was a CheapOair rep trying to upsell me on the trip cancellation insurance and seat reservations. He initially told me it would be $80 to reserve regular seats. When I said that I was still on the website and it was showing me $47.80 for the same seats, he went away and came back to offer the seats for $40.
I relented, because I thought this was an airline charge, but when I got my confirmation from United, it showed the seat selection as free---the $40 is entirely Cheapo's fee to do what I could have done myself for free, in a couple of minutes, on United's site. Not pleased, especially with the hard-sell tactics. (Also, he selected the wrong seats and I fixed the reservation myself.) The flight price was the same as directly booking with United, but the latter wouldn't let me book from Canada, so I gave CheapOair a try. I'm definitely on the fence as to whether I would do so again. At least I'm wiser now to their tactics.

While I understand we all like to get a great deal sometimes the price is too high. My Daughter's flight was cancelled today, she was bused 300k to another airport, they arrived at 1am to Athens. NOTHING TO DO WITH CHEAPOAIR. I am in Canada so I tried to get her to her next destination by booking her an early morning flight out, so she could just stay in the airport. When I made the booking with CheapOair, it kicked back to the beginning saying it wasn't available. I thought maybe I had just not pressed confirm, so I did it again not checking that it had changed dates on me.
I immediately phoned to be told no problem, it had not gone through yet. I am put through to someone else, 1 hour and a half later they cut me off by asking for a survey then they were gone. Next phone call was 35 mins.... Now I am getting really annoyed and the online chap, Fedal finally after asking the same 35 questions said it had gone through now and I would have to pay the cancellation fee. I have had to pay the cancellation fee before when I truly made a mistake. Honestly it's not so much the money. It's the fact they make it so difficult and most people probably give up.... Never again CheapOair.

I am happy to report that just after this posting, a customer service representative from CheapOair reached out to try and resolve my concerns. She listened to my complaints and reassured me that everything was in order regarding my booking and apologized for any inconvenience the booking agent had caused me. Additionally, she offered me a $50 coupon to be applied to any future flights -- should I see fit to purchase through CheapOair again. I really appreciated the rally and, should the remainder of this transaction, i.e. the completion of the journey, go without a hitch, I will be game to try CheapOair again. The company did the right thing in working toward a speedy response and resolution. Thank you.

I booked a ticket to San Diego on August 7 to visit my elderly mom. When I went to review the flight confirmation, I noticed that my middle name was misspelled, which is not like me (I am a professional writer). The form prominently warns consumers that passenger names must be identical to how they appear on their passport, so I called the help number they had posted and was told I had to pay a $25 fee to have them make the correction; I had to agree to their terms or pay the cancellation fee for my order! It was extortion. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was put on hold for a ridiculous amount of time. Finally, after I'd escalated the issue, a manager called me back and told me they would waive the fee.
Meanwhile, the newly issued receipt did not include an updated confirmation number. Shortly after we got everything sorted, still another representative from CheapOair called me under the pretext of offering my priority seating and $50 in flight coupons. I was delighted by the gesture and the attempt to reimburse me for my inconvenience. But NO! At the end of the conversation, the representative informed that I would be billed for the priority seating and "how would I like to pay for that?" What shysters! This was the most stressful booking transaction I've ever made and I'm still terrified that, when the day comes to fly, I will discover still more hidden charges or worse: that my reservation was never confirmed at all!!! Avoid this company like the plague. And please wish me luck.

The pricing was very confusing and to a certain extent misleading! It was not very clear even with a salesperson what I was getting and the price of tickets! The issue of baggage whether or not was included in basic economy! Eventually the day after, it was upgraded to economy, and the price of two tickets then turned out to be about $100 more than if I had bought the same flight directly from United! Not happy, as I’ve bought tickets from you before! I feel you’d at least match the price offered by United!

Macy was very helpful in making the various choices to book a flight from Jo'burg to Madrid. I give her 5 stars. But I lowered the total rating to 4, because although Macy had told me a checked back of 40 lb. was included, when I checked on the screen in front of me after booking the Ethiad flight, I read that a checked bag would cost over $400. So I called back, waiting 10 or more minutes to talk to someone, and the next rep told me to go directly to the Etihad website and look at my flight and I'd find that the bag was included. So this is a critique of the way your booking site works when you click on "baggage"

I made a car rental reservation for Las Vegas. The clerk only offered me Fox Rent A Car. After that call, I did some research and discovered that Fox didn't have a good reputation. I also found out that I would have to take 2 shuttles to get to the car pick up location. The second shuttle would take about 40 minutes to get there after arriving at the car rental hub. This information was not relayed to me. I have cancelled that reservation.

The airline reservations went smoothly, except I was told that "I have the Traveler Assist Classic" because I had called on phone. I thought that meant it was free. I looked at the bill and I was charged almost $20 for it. I called back in a few days and told that I wasn't charged for it. I don't understand.

My family purchased tickets with CheapOair. We always look for the best deal. CheapOair does not advertise the fact that they do not include luggage on any flight??? They do not show this anywhere on their site. It will cost my family 900 dollars more for luggage. This is unacceptable. False Advertising. Nowhere does it say, "No luggage." They will tell you, "You didn’t see the screen that states that" but believe me it doesn’t exist. CheapOair has ruined what would have been a great family vacation/wedding. Based upon my experiences with CheapOair I advise that travelers seek other avenues and, especially, consider booking tickets directly with the airlines serving your area. CheapOair leads travelers to believe that seat selections are confirmed when, if fact, they are not as happened to me recently, traveling with my wife and grandchildren as we had to wait until all other passengers took their seats were we allowed to find seats, randomly!

CheapOair changed our flight schedule. When I called them they kept forwarding to different people and each person put me on hold for so long that I stayed on phone for more than 5 hours. I was placed on hold over and over. When I finally did get to talk to someone they were checking alternate flights but said their shift was ending and would call me back the following day. Needless to say I'm still waiting on that callback. Checked the online portal and it was not any more helpful. At the end they didn't help at all. And I still don't know the status of my flight. The Very Worst travel agency ever.

I bought a ticket and got confirmation, 2 days later I received an email that the airline changed one leg timing and should contact them to rescheduled. The options provided did not match my plans. Thus the option offer was cancel the flight. After 3 days I received other email saying that the reimbursement would take about 2 months. When the cancellation was originated by them. TRY OTHER WEBSITE THAT ARE MUCH MORE RESPONSIVE AND CLIENT ORIENTED.

In May, 2019 my daughter booked a last minute flight to attend her father's funeral. I paid for the tickets. It was booked thru CheapOair on AA. Flight was cancelled due to mechanical problems and next flight would make her miss the funeral. Called agency immediately, said could not refund. Called AA with documentation that the flight was cancelled. The cost was way over $1,000. Found out from AA that the ticket was much less and they refunded the AA price of the ticket. The agency charged us $515.00 above ticket cost for themselves. Many phone calls, e-mails, etc and still no refund. Scammers.

I Bought tickets from Canada to England to Cyprus, return for my family, total 4 people. I was very careful in my selections and proceeded to purchase what I thought was the best deal for the thousands of dollars I was spending only to get a call the next day from CheapOair sales rep notifying me that I had better buy luggage allowance since my tickets did not include luggage. At no time during the transaction I was given a choice or made aware that there was no luggage included in the tickets I was purchasing. Had I known, I would have not purchased from CheapOair as the bottom line would have been better with other companies. Now I have no choice but to spend hundreds of more dollars to be able to travel! I am quite disappointed and quite Upset. I feel as if this has ruined our trip!

I was told I had to change my return ticket from Omaha to LAX on 8/18. Ok. But then they say it makes a stop that wasn't mentioned, in Phoenix. Ok. Still a direct flight. No problem. The only thing is, I NEVER received my confirmation email from Southwest. I wish someone would help me be sure what I'm supposed to do on 8/18.

Plane flights went smoothly. Card company stopped John's card so had to rebook room and car have many emails but not sure that our room is secured. Car seems secure though. Your attentiveness by your associates is very appreciated. They were very helpful.
