    A few months ago I booked a car on Cheapoair's website, then cancelled it because I found a better rate the same day. They did charge my Amex CC, but never confirmed the booking! Then after cancellation, they confirmed the cancellation of the non-existing booking, but never refunded the money. I disputed the charges successfully, but they kept $ 13.95 as 'an administrative fee", as if their error was my fault. Do NOT do business with these guys-if the rating could have been 0, I would have given it.

    I can't express, factually, the poor service I received in the 200 character limit in this review box. They charged me over $600 to move a flight and didn't move the baggage allowance. Cost $300 more.

    CheapOAir added expenses to the airlines ticket without consent, and when the issue was confronted the customer representative stated it was non-refundable. The customer service representative kept interrupting and stated “You’re not getting it, I will make you understand”. When I interrupted her so I could state the issue she placed me on a 40 minute hold. I waited to see if at least a manager or someone who would be willing to help would come on for CUSTOMER SUPPORT. This company is unprofessional. Do not book with them.

    Very unreliable link. I do not recommend. They cheat and rip off money. They don’t think about customers, they only need bank data and that’s it, money starts to be debited. Then you won’t get through to them by phone. And the money has to be returned through the bank only.

    I booked flights for my family for the trip next years and the flights has 2 stops but the first flight and the last flight has changed and when I contacted them to see what they can do or change the flight for me and they just let me wait and wait and doing nothing but told me to call them back in 48 hours and then I called them again and they said 3 weeks later. Now I can't call them anymore. They said they just receive the phone call that have trip in the next 7 days because of high volume even I call them in few days or earlier in the morning.

    I thought I was calling the number to American Airlines, when they answer the phone they only say reservations. The operator proceeded to pretend he was an agent for American Airlines. I booked the flights and couldn’t understand why they were more than what the website posted I kept saying that. He kept assuring me and fast-talking me through some fees that this was normal, it was not. I did a chargeback and won. Booked directly through the airlines. These people will lie, cheat, and steal to get your hard-earned money. Unethical is a nice way to describe them. If something happens to your flight and you need help from the airlines to either book another one or get a hotel you are screwed if you choose to book through CheapOair. You’ll be sitting at the airport while the rest of your party or family travels on if there are any delays or cancellations, you will most likely just kiss your money goodbye on top of paying more through the airline.

    CheapOair is not Ok anymore and it’s a big risk with this company. I had canceled a ticket with United apps because I wanted to buy on CheapAir also a United.
    CheapOair sold me same ticket canceled on United ticket and CheapOair reassured me the ticket is valid despite my explanation that the booking number canceled is the same. The first agent on phone put me on hold and without complete processing their matching want me to rate him I refused then I got cut off.

    The next agent sound schizophrenic or playing around. The 3rd agent now gave me a false reassurance. I got to the airport on day of travel United said I was canceled and I have to buy another ticket more money. Stay away. They are dysfunction.

    Subject: Need refund for my ticket and Airlines put remark for full refund. I have booked ticket with CheapOair in March, 2022. When I booked my flight, I had a layover of 3 hours, Now the Airlines made changes and the layover is 28 hours. I did not accept the change. Since past 1 month I have been calling CheapOair for help, but no luck. Is this the way you are running a business? How can such terrible company can win an award? Ladies staff is pathetic. They don’t know how to transfer a basic call, they will say please be on hold but they will just disconnect, Disrespectful.

    After being on hold sometimes for more than an hour no one answers, there is a dead end! So we call again and the process is repeated continuously. We want our money. We work hard to earn money unlike you guys who are earning bogusly by cheating customers. Airlines put REMARK on my ticket as it's eligible for full refund, due to the changes made by airlines. Why the heck you guys have issue in generating a refund? Are you in greed of customer’s money?

    You guys are not running business ethically as the customer service sucks. Representatives treated us like football and seriously they don’t know how to look into the matter, because they are not trained and the department which is trained does not want to come and resolve the issue? How the business is running? Saw lot of other complaints as well where, you guys ask customer to go to airlines and airlines doesn’t have any issue. But you guys want to give hard time to customer, for What? Are you paying us? Or because we give you business you are getting paid? Still you guys don’t want to work formal way. The frustration level has reached at par that’s the reason I am writing this to you. NEED MY MONEY and that too because in each circumstances I am right as per airlines and your couple customer service support people.

    Phone service is worse. If you option 2 for cancellation of ticket, the automated phone service puts you on long hold. They usually charge you again and again for dates cheaper even. US Gov't should put a ban on such bad service company.

    Cheapoair issued me a ticket that was not valid and left me stranded in LAX. The airline told me that a refund was processed requested by Cheapoair that was not credited to me. I called Cheapoair and asked for an explanation and they made a lot of excuses. They refunded the money 2 weeks later but I had to buy another ticket double the price as I had to urgently visit my mother who was sick. The sick feeling I had and the emotional trauma I went through those couple of days waiting for a flight was horrible. I had to spend on transport up and down and accommodation waiting for the other flight out of LAX as I live in Florida. This company should not be operating.

    At the time of purchase the agent told us no need to get the transit visa when you are transferring to USA in Canada, But we have to get the Visa, We purchased all the protection packages as they said anytime when it comes to real they all were valid within 24 hours of purchase where you can get free of charge with in 24 hours. We spent 2 days on the phone call getting transferred in between customer care and Credit department. Finally saying call the airlines directly, We spend more than $18000.

    My husband and my son were supposed to fly from JFK to Amsterdam on July 5th, 2022 but due to not being vaccinated they were not allowed to board the plane. I purchased the tickets online at www.cheapoair.com but they said I should contact the airline directly to ask them about anything Covid related which I did but they didn't tell me about the vaccine mandate. I specifically said that, "My husband and son are not vaccinated. Do they need a PCR for unvaccinated people". They said, "No". When they arrived to the airport they were not able to board since they were not vaccinated. I've spend $4,627.68 on those tickets and it's been 2 months and I can't get a refund. Please stay away from them. I wish I could give them 0 stars. I have been a customer with them for years.

    The flight I had booked was canceled - CheapAair did not notify me of this (I found out when I called to ask a question). They then kept me on hold for hours, hung up on me 4 times and refused to put me on a new flight - they said I needed to pay the $3000 difference to book which is against the law since the flight I booked no longer existed. I had to spend 14 hours on the phone with them to get a new ticket home - worst customer service I've ever experienced. Beware when booking with them - I will never book through them again!

    July 27 at around 9pm PST I booked a ticket for my wife. I entered a wrong email address where to send the ticket. I called today July 28 in the morning requesting to send me the e-ticket info to my email. They asked all the information below and after verifying that all information are correct. They said somebody is going to do a verification to finalized my request. Passenger: Round Trip ticket from MNL to LAX. Flight is for Aug 2 ANA MNL, NRT, LAX Paid with my Credit card last 4 digit is **. Name on card: Billing address:. At 12:00 Noon PST I received a call from CheapOair, 1 ring I answered hello and they hanged up or disconnect the line.

    At 5:11pm PST I called Cheapoair and again I went through verification using the above information. After saying everything is correct, he said, "I will arrange for somebody to call you for verification and they will send it to your email." I waited until 8pm PST. No calls. At 8:15 I called Cheapoair and again I went through a verification process for the third time. This time he said, "I will connect you to the department that handles this." After 1 hour and 15 and I am still on hold. I ended the call. The issue remains unresolved.

    We purchased a travel package which was immediately charged on credit card. We called multiple times to get email confirmation but they kept saying, "We sent it." This tactic allows them time for the credit card to accept charges. My husband created an account to access our booking only to find the fine saying we would be charged additional $80 per day at hotel and we had to extra for checked bags to the airline. The sales person never informed us and he also ensured that we paid for checked bags. 2 hours after purchasing this trip we tried to cancel due to this misinformation. We are now being told that it will take 14 days for refund. As well they will charge us $67 booking fees?? Scammers! Taking this to the government! Hope you go bankrupt!!

Furthermore this is revealed once you have entered credit card details. The message says you are not charged - I found this very concerning. Although we disagree with all of this, We appreciate the help we have received the last day or two from Patricia, Lamar, Archie, and Sherwood at CheapOair. They are doing their best to resolve a frustrating experience.

We booked a flight with them to the Philippines for Oct 2020. Obviously Covid happened and we could no longer travel. Credit issued for 1 year. Great. Now comes the fun part! 1 YEAR of trying to recoup our hard earned money! $2000! Call the airline. Airline says call CheapOair. This has been going on for a YEAR! I actually took the day off work to try help my wife who has all but given up! I left a few honest reviews and guess what! The agent says they won't refund my money until my reviews are taken down!     I always buy flights directly from airlines, but this time I made the mistake to buy through CheapOair. BIG MISTAKE. The flight was canceled multiple times and they never informed me. You cannot make changes through the airline website. Customer Service has 1 hour wait time on a daily basis. Once you reach them, their system is often down and they cannot assist properly. Reservations DROP often and you might lose your money since their reservations tend to change often. AVOID them

    I wish I could give CheapOAir a 0 star but it's not an option available for me. For all of you trying to buy air tickets through CheapOair, please do yourself a favor and look somewhere else. They're the worst when It comes to customer service, all they want is to get to your money, and whatever happens next is not their issue. I bought ticket during the pandemic, and the agent I spoke to over the phone guaranteed that I could modify my flight confirmation fee of cost at any given time considering what was going on globally with the Covid-19 pandemic. I had to change the date since my wife got hit with Covid, so I called and they ended up charging me a fee, they just ignored everything they had told me initially when I bought the tickets, I was never treated this way before, the customer service rep hung up on me, they just lied to my face, luckily I was able to dispute the whole transaction with my bank. Please read reviews about them before you do business with them.

    CheapOair is by far the worst travel agency. I was charged $66 dollars to change my tickets. When I received the changed itinerary I called them back to ensure no passports were needed and they confirmed no passport was needed. When my family arrived at the airport they were denied boarding due to not having a passport. I called CheapOair they called United, United canceled their tickets and after hours of being stuck in the airport, United fixed their tickets they were able to leave. However, CheapOair did not fix the return flight and once again they were not able to leave. They were rebooked for the next day. On the second attempt, they were able to get on the flight but United oversold the flight and they were asked to stay another day which they refused. I called CheapOair and they only wanted to refund me $66 after I had purchased $4500 tickets. MILITARY PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM CHEAPOAIR.

    My wife and I are trying to visit each other while I am stationed in South Korea. We are using CheapOair as a third party to get decent deals on plane tickets. There was a scheduled change through the airline to our itinerary and we need to accept the change to be issued our new tickets. This shouldn't be a big deal considering we can accept through either CheapOair or the flight agencies we are flying with per CheapOair policy. That is not the case though, we cannot accept the change through the owning agency and CheapOair has had my wife on hold for 5 hours as she is trying to resolve the issue. The owning agency was even willing to give us a discounted flight ticket and let us book directly through them. CheapOair has disconnected both call and online tech help from my wife as of 12 AM EST two hours prior to the customer service line closing.

    It is pretty obvious CheapOair wants this issue to go unresolved as the flight is in a few days so we are forced into paying and not getting a refund as we requested. Which we are entitled to as we have gotten trip insurance. In all, if you book through this company expect the risk of your itinerary change resulting in no flight. Instead, use them to find the deal, call the airline directly and inform them you found a better deal but do not wish to use a third party and they will most likely be willing to adjust prices to the cheaper ones on the site.

    In short, I booked my tickets to Bolivia via CheapOair. We arrived at our destination without issue. When we were scheduled to fly home, the airline canceled our flight for some unknown reason. I called CheapOair rep and they found me another flight a day later. When they booked the new flight they didn't include my already paid-for luggage, so I ended up paying a second time at the airport. It's been weeks of fighting with them and they just ignore my request to be refunded. This is so ridiculous. I have also asked for some sort of compensation for my missed flight because my wife and I missed work, they blamed it on the airline

    This company was the worst company I've ever dealt with, please save your money and do not use this company. All of their positive reviews are false. They refuse to refund your credit for a ticket I did not use. Their customer service is horrible, their management is horrible, their entire company is horrible. They do not care about their customers. They only care about getting your money and making sure they keep your money. Don't bother using their services. They will take your money and then when you try to get a refund or a credit they will avoid speaking with you, hang up on you, as well as never refund you your money. You would do better go on a Priceline or another third party airfare provider because this company needs to be shut down immediately.

    Worst experience of my life and they took almost $200 from me, I did not use the ticket at all and their manager is going to tell me that they cannot change nor refund my money for a ticket that was not used, and their policy it does not State anything about a credit being placed on your account but the manager is going to say that a credit is the same as a change so they cannot refund me any of my money after first lying to me and telling me that I needed to go through the actual airplane company. When I contacted them found out that that was a lie and that I had to contact CheapOair again. It took me 7 days to get in contact with somebody and speak to a supervisor just for them to tell me that they cannot refund no credit my account because it's considered a change. Keep your money and don't waste it on this despicable company that only cares about taking your money.

    First week of April I booked our tickets thru CheapOair for our family trip to India this coming June 27. It was very easy to book. I even purchased trip protection plan, assistance, and insurance. To my surprise on June 9 I received an email from CheapOair that our ticket was cancelled and an OTP was emailed to me to confirm with them the cancellation. I never cancelled our tickets so imagine my surprise and stress. I contacted customer service immediately which took me more than hour to be connected. They said that our ticket was cancelled thru chat due to emergency reasons. I never initiated the chat, l the agent assured me that they will investigate and that they will find out the IP address of whoever initiated the chat.

    For every day since June 9 I've been calling them to follow on our tickets and all the agents told me to wait 24 to 48 hours then they will call me. I never received any call back and they cannot reinstate our tickets. The purpose of our trip is for medical reasons and CheapOair cannot fix what they did. Our tickets costs $6000 +, they won't refund either and they won't book us with other Airlines. This is very unfair, my brother advised me to seek assistance with Better Business Bureau if CheapOair won't do anything about this matter. Please people if you value your money avoid CheapOair.

    We rented a car through ChepOair for our Disney trip. We landed late in Orlando but on time to get our rental. Rental company was out of cars with a long line of angry people waiting to get their reserved cars. The car rental agent just left and there was no one to talk to. It was late and we just wanted to get to our hotel so we took a $75 Uber ride. I called CheapOair in the morning to tell them what happened, file a claim and ask for a refund. Our hotel had an Avis desk their so we rented a car from Avis. We never heard back after filing our claim with CheapOair. So I decided to dispute the charge on our credit card.

    CheapOair states we didn't call within the 4 hour window (It was the middle of the night and we just wanted to get to our room and deal with this in the AM) with the problem so we don't get a refund. I own a company and I would never make them pay for a service or goods that they never received. We will never use this company again and warn others of our experience. Essentially paid for 2 rental cars and a $75 Uber ride because of their negligence in providing a refund.

    I would have given them a 1 star, but my domestic flight experiences with them have been fairly okay. For international flights, I would highly recommend booking directly through the Airline's website. CheapoAir can make a very expensive mistakes and not own up to it. On a $6000 international ticket booking (4 tickets), they charged me extra $854 for seat selection. That's fair enough (it's disclosed), but imagine they booked seats in row 44 (near the toilets), instead of the row 18 (front row) that I paid for. Their agents for some reason will lie a lot (Saying we tried contacting you or blaming something on the Airline or even blaming the client himself).

    The worst part, it turns out the mistake is on the cheap website, AirCanada website shows the original correct booking in row 18. So, I am not sure why CheapOAir website shows an adhoc row 44. And the agents are still not accepting it. So bottom line book cheaper short distance tickets with them but International travel with CheapOAir is a big risk.

    I’ve booked 2 tickets in advance from Dubrovnik to Prague and received the confirmation email from CheapOair. A month later I decided to check the status of my future flight and was shocked to find out that Czech Airlines do not fly from and to Dubrovnik. Apparently the flight was cancelled long ago, but nobody has notified me. Now I can’t use the credit for the flight by another airline and I can’t get the refund. Getting in touch with the agent is almost impossible, requires a very long wait.

    I booked my seats and pay $303 3 months before my flight date and 3 days before traveling I discover that no seat was booked, When I contact the customer services through the online live agent they promised to contact me but they didn't and they sent me email that they called me on my phone but it was lie. I had to contact the airline to book my seat as I have health condition and they booked my seats without charging me. I will never use Cheapoair again and I wouldn't recommended to anyone.

    It's a nightmare if you want to cancel a ticket for whatever reason, stay away from them... They just want to keep your money no matter what, once you buy a tickets there is no way no reason that you have the option to cancel..

    I have trying to get an answer from a "flight specialist" at CheapOair for a few months now. I purchased the tickets in January and since then there has been so much going back and forth with this company... One of the companies we are flying with changed the flight time and CheapOair has not been able to find us a connecting flight... I am upset, frustrated and disappointed... There are long wait times (on hold), you just get passed from one department to another one with no resolution. They call you and don't say anything, then they email you to let you know that they tried calling you and ask you to call them back to a phone number that is no longer in service or use. I am on hold right now... who knows for how long? Conclusion: I will never book any flights with them. Too bad there is not less than 1 star... to give them for their services and performance.

    I booked a flight through CheapoAir from Raleigh to Seattle. The original flights between Charlotte and Seattle were upgraded at a cost of $280. American Airlines changed the fight and downgraded my seats without refunding my money. When CheapoAir was contacted about the issue, they blamed the airlines, said they had a "team" working on the problem and never resolved the issue. I had to upgrade my seats again for another $160 and was never refunded the $140. American Airlines would not discuss the issue since the flight was booked through an "agent" and I'm still minus my original upgrade cost. I will certainly not deal with CheapoAir again in the future.

    CheapOair will STEAL YOUR MONEY! They offer a ticket of protection, however most airlines already offer this for free. I was accidentally charged, however, when I contacted by phone they said they canceled it (which by phone I had to wait over 45 minutes!!!) However, the money was never returned to my account. When I wrote to them to see the delay, they said it had already been too long and could not refund me. Also when I complained by email, I started to get random charges on my credit card from them, however at that time I had already discontinued that card, I had used with them. THIS IS THE WORSE COMPANY! Stay away! Terrible customer service and they will steal your money, they have no morals.

    Do NOT use this company. They will only try to get more money not make it any cheaper as their name implies. I immediately noticed my typo of an extra 1 letter at the end of a first name Dianaa and immediately initiated chat. The chat person had me on hold for a long time before telling me there would be fees to remove one letter. Even though on an American Airlines post page I found it states simple typos can be removed with no fees. I called American Airlines phone and the recording states to call the agency you booked with to handle any booking problems.

    It is also very hard to understand some of the full chat because I believe they speak a different language and maybe using a translator. On the first chat session I was told, "Understand that it is just a letter but there will be fees involved if you make name correction." I said, Don't correct it then. I don't want to pay anymore fees and you kept me on here this long to wait and tell me this." I ended that chat and initiated another chat to see if I would get a different answer. The next chat was worse, so I cancelled the plane tickets within 24 hours and still was charged a $70.00 cancellation fee. I am waiting on a refund of approximately $2700.00. The next chat I was told the price is hiked and will cost $415.96 per passenger including fare difference and all taxes and fees.

    The worst travel company. I booked flight for my mom and they changed the schedule for multiple times. Changed the flight duration from 14 hrs. to 22 hours. Had to call multiple times to them to get the tickets assigned even after accepting the increased time flight. Each call would take up to an hour just to get in touch with the agent. They also put you on hold for half hour between departments even if you connect to agents. They are a disgrace to the travel industry and are a disaster. How are they still in business? I am giving them one star because there is nothing lower than that.

    Back in late 2019, prior to the pandemic I booked flight to Paris, Prague and back to NY on CheapoAir. The flights were obviously cancelled, but CheapoAir wanted no part of it. Not only did I have to contact British Air directly, I then had to recontact CheapoAir, since payment had been made to CheapoAir for my refund. this took months. CheapoAir was impossible to reach by phone, I was redirected to their website and each time an online request was made, my credit card was billed a $70 convenience fee. In the end, I finally received a credit for my British Air tickets after American Express advocated for me, and American Express credited me back the ridiculous and likely illegal service fees I was billed for trying to contact CheapoAir. I have NEVER dealt with worse customer service in any industry. BEWARE.

    The difficulty to reach out to an agency is ridiculous. There was a change to my flight schedule which caused me to have to cancel my flight. I've spent multiple days and hours to try to connect with an agency at different times. The online agencies always ended my conversation without solving my problem after hours of hold. The phone calls have led to the same result. I would be on hold for more than an hour, after I finally talked to an agency, they would connect me to somewhere else and the phone gets cut off.

    After all the inconvenience and waste of time, I finally got to talk to an agency on the phone, Elizabeth. She was able to cancel my flight. However, she said due to CheapOair policies, I will not be able to receive a full amount of refund. There is a nonrefundable fee when you book the ticket even though your flight has been canceled or changed out of your control. I understand that flights are in high demand and airlines can be inconsistence, but CheapOAir is not making these inconvenience any better. I would rather book from the official airline website from now. They have lost my business.

    Seriously the worst travel company I have ever dealt with. The fascinating aspect is the ongoing consistency of their terrible service. I have a CheapOAir Gift card and after an hour on the phone, being hung up on, transferred from department, no service agent can actually work out how to use their own gift card. Eventually I was told to email the tech team and tell them my problem. On another flight, an agent called me after I booked the flight to sell me a window seat...but I already had chosen a window seat when I booked it. She said I could risk losing it if I didn't buy a window seat. All agents are extremely hard to understand as English is not their native language. I am multilingual and I can barely ever understand them. The site is great...The service is terrible and worsening. Never using them again.

    Updated on 06/11/2022: CheapOAir then called me three times after I wrote my first negative review about their company. When I called them back, they offered me no refund and claimed that I had made the schedule change, which was made on their end. I am not sure if there is a customer service problem, or a company problem. My suspicion is there are pervasive problems with both. This is a slipshod organization which offers nonrefundable tickets and can change flights on a whim. I highly suggest avoiding their services.

    Original Review: I booked airline tickets for a domestic flight within the U.S. through CheapOAir. One week after booking, I received an email stating that one of the flights was changed from 7 am to 9 pm. I called the company to try and negotiate the original time that I required. I called four times. The first three times I was disconnected after talking to an agent and asking for a change. The fourth time, the agent told me that I was required to call United Airlines (the carrier) to make the change.

    Upon speaking with Rose at United Airlines, I was informed that the tickets sold by CheapOAir were not even basic economy. I had to pay United Airlines $49.50 each way just to get into United's basic economy class. I then had to pay the differential of the cost of the time of the original flight from the time that CheapOAir had "assigned" to me without asking. In short, the flight wound up costing me double. And it took me hours of time spent on the phone. I would consider it a service to humanity if CheapOAir went out of business. They also don't allow reviews on their own website. That policy speaks for itself.

    I purchased two tickets last year for New Zealand domestic, me and my dad. Had to cancel the flight due to COVID lockdown. They put my purchase to credit. After a long time of lockdown my father couldn’t travel anymore with me due to health problem, so I rang to ask them if I could use the credit just for myself. They located at USA New York and I had to spend so much to call overseas. They told me to contact the airline, so I called the airline to ask but they said they have no authority to do anything as I didn’t purchase the ticket from the airline, I had to go back to ask the agency again. Then they said I have to use it for the same passenger for the same itinerary with same airline. Which means after a long time of lockdown, and postpones, my dad cannot travel with me anymore. And I have to wait to see the tickets expire.

    Truly makes me feel like this company a big scam. They hire their customer services people in different countries and pay them bare minimum so Of course they won't care about your travel issues nor your money. Spend 5 hours on the phone with multiple “agents” on april 29,2022. Been hung up on twice on the phone and chat after waiting on hold for hours!!! Bought a ticket from Beirut to Moscow for may 7th for my sister.

    Due to war right now all international flights have been cancelled to Russian and all aeroflot flights since march 8th. CheapOAir people have 0 knowledge on it. In their system all ticket ate ACTIVE. HOW???? There is war there how are they still selling those tickets??? Called Aeroflot they said they notified all third party companies about this and to refund all the tickets but cheap o air refuses to refund or give you credit. All they cant do is change dates. Are you serious???? How are we supposed to know when the borders will open again. This is beyond ridiculous.

    After 5 hours on the phone they still didn't resolve anything for me personally. Can't change destination. Can't get credit. Can't change anything on the ticket and they keep sending you to airline and airline keeps sending you to cheap o air. So frustrating. All agents have different information. They give you a run around that will leave you in tears and with brain aneurysm. Be smart and never purchase tickets through them.

    Don't use this company. They try to cross-sell you insistently. If you have a problem they will take huge time on the phone and will say will call back. They never do. I have spent more than 6 hours on the phone during 2 days to try and fix a problem they made in my booking. Tried to cancel within 24 hrs time frame and they refused always asking me to wait a bit more until they could fix the problem. I wasted a huge amount of time and energy. A total nightmare and mind you their prices are NOT significantly lower. Check other sources and you will be much better off.

    Don't get ticket from them, we were told that our flights were cancelled apparently because of the war going on, how airlines are trying to "lessen" all the flights. Since day 1 I was told I can refund the money/expedite it, to how just wait because the airline might replace/update the flight. Since the cancellation wasn't my fault they assure us that we can totally get the money. After a week I got the email how the flight is now cancelled and I have to call them to officially cancel it or rebook another plane ticket, I have proofs that shows "it's cancelled" and I can full refund. One guy tried to replace our flights, but he said he will call us again by the following week whether the airlines approve it or not, he will call or email us. We called them by the next week since there aren't updates.

    During that week and the next week, we called again & again and was told to wait 48 hrs, how the chief supervisor is handling the issue. The the following weeks, we got tired of them saying wait for 48 hours so we called to officially expedite our tickets, when we tried to refund: the customer service will automatically transfer you somewhere else, they will put you on hold for hours and the call would drop. I even tried the online customer service and same thing happened, even the customer service I talked online is such a scam when I said refund my money, he said "I will direct you to the rescheduling department."

    We did this for an entire day to a point we got tired and called the bank for a dispute, you know what happened?? I got never ending calls from them, begging that I can finally refund the money. I refused to entertain it on my end because I didn't want to talk and entertain them anymore as I already talked with the bank, and I have lost my trust because of all the false promises this company keeps making I found out online that there are many cases like me and some got "refund" but still waiting for it, some of them are waiting for months, some are waiting for years. Some claims vouchers are given/credit and we can reuse it on a later flight, but the "vouchers" expired and never let them use it again after a year.. Their hand earn money stolen from them..

    The money got returned to me temp by the bank but you know what CheapOair did, they changed their statements. They called me and said since the flight was rescheduled I'm only qualified for a "credit voucher", MIND YOU RESCHEDULED. TOTALLY DIFFERENT STATEMENT FROM ALL THE CALLS AND EMAIL THAT I GOT. This is a strategy to steal your money and cancel you out of your eligibility to get your money. I reported everything to my bank, because this is not okay.

    Avoid at all costs. On my bank statement they said the flight was fully paid for, however, the ticket on their website was only "partially paid for". When trying to get in contact with customer service credit card cancellations, they kept me waiting for over 40 minutes. They sent me to go to Air Canada (flight provider) and my bank. Called both and they said to call the CheapOair and said nothing they could do. It was up to the company. Absolutely terrible service. Felt like I've been going on a wild goose chase for the past 2 hours.

    Cheapoair booked ticket for 5 passengers, we requested to cancel on partial passengers, 2 of them on 28th March, after a while we checked to ask how long credits will be transferred, to our surprise they cancelled for all passengers, I have proof in mail for we cancelled for only 2 passengers and were charged 50 dollars for them both, now we are kept on hold from 4 hrs and the representative says he don’t know who cancelled. All he knows is someone requested cancellation on 2nd April, and we don’t have a cancellation mail or any information, hopeless services, very irresponsible, and where is my money, will not advise to book from them to save inconvenience, still trying to trace my credits for 2 cancellation and answer for other 3 passengers, still on hold from hours.

    My husband and I travel a lot, for business and pleasure. Normally we use our favourite airline, but when their itinerary does not fit our schedule, we have to look elsewhere. Several weeks ago, we booked two seats on an ITA (Italia Trasporto Aereo) short haul return flights from Rome to Venice and back in August 2022. Then our itinerary changed, and we need to get to Bologna instead. There were absolutely no alternate potential flights that would work for us (without violating the laws of space and time). We will go by train, instead. So I went on line to cancel the flights

    I could NOT cancel on the website. I got lovely red warning boxes to this effect. I was instructed to use the on-line chat feature, which provided completely irrelevant information, before deciding I needed to talk to a live agent. That meant waiting in the queue for about an hour. The real agent asked me to repeat what I had already explained to the “bot”. Then the chat quit, probably because the office closed at 2AM ET… I repeated the same process the next night (because I might be crazy), another long wait, with the same outcome. The chat with a human quit again, just moments after starting. It was NOT 2AM ET.

    I explained everything via email, and was advised that I would have to talk to a human being in order to cancel. So I called the number provided, explained everything to the first agent, who then put me on hold to speak with a second agent. Now I have a $25 charge on my phone. Live and learn. Just because you are communicating via their Canadian website about a booking made for a Canadian traveller, don’t assume that they are giving you a Canadian office number to call. I won’t be using CheapOAir again. It is very difficult to change a booking when your travel plans change. Come to think of it, I got nowhere trying to get reimbursed for COVID-cancelled flights in 2020. (OK, I AM crazy).

    If I could give it zero I would. Got my flight canceled today and have been on the phone with them all day trying to get my money back. They want to charge me an extra 3k to use my "credit." I finally had enough and they hung up on me when I asked for it a full refund. I have sent letters to the Government travel agency and IER. I am also disputing my charges with my credit card company.     I think I know how they get their fares so low. Advertise unpopular routes that have a good chance of being canceled without caring about the customer's plans. It has now happened two times in a row where my flight that I booked through CheapOair has been canceled by the airline. That is very suspect if you ask me. Couple that with terrible customer service that you can only reach by phone call and you have a terrible service. Here's a tip: look up the flight on these kind of websites and then book using the airline. I was also charged long distance for trying to fix my flight about 55$.     I book flight with Cheapoair.com on January 30 with insurance for flight on February 4, 2022. At 2:51am just couple hours before my flight, I received email that my flight was canceled and rescheduled due to inclement weather for 8:43am. Couple hours late received stating my flight was canceled and rescheduled for February 5th. At this point I call Cheapoair, they told me to call the airline. I called the airline and they tried their best to get me on flight for February 4th because I had to be at my destination that date. After airline was unable to help me, I had to call CheapOair back.

    This were good the customer service ended. My flight also eventually got canceled again to another date which I was able to take because once again I had to be at my destination on February 4th. Upon speaking Cheapoair, they were rude and didn't care that my flight was canceled because of the weather. I was on the phone with for more than 8 hours. If I wasn't getting put on whole for hours and then disconnected, I was getting yelled at. I even try to use their chat option and that was unsuccessful as well. Each time I take to person I was told something different from employees to supervisor. Paying insurance when book your flight doesn't mean anything. Save yourself from headache & drama us and other sites or book directly with airline company.

    Cheapo Air is purposely misleading consumers by offering the so called Cheapest Airfare so they come up on search engines sites first to direct unsuspecting victims to their scam by omitting add ons and omitting seat placement fee until after purchasing the plane tickets. After already paying for every possible upgrade such as cancellation fee, carry on baggage fee, luggage check on fee, assistance fee, etc.. We finally believed we were at the end of all the add on charges and made our decision to go ahead and purchase the airline tickets to our dismay.

    Minutes later after the transaction had already been accepted on our Credit Card we get a phone call from an operator in India on behalf of Cheapo Air asking for an additional fee of $139 for a seat placement fee that was not openly offered on the flight reservation page or our initial purchase time. Highly dishonest tactic to scam the unsuspecting consumer after we had already committed and couldn't change or back out without another fee or loss of ticket money. This is absolutely a dishonest move by Cheapoair. They tried blaming the Airline that it was their policy however Cheapo Air is facilitating this dishonest tactic and is complicit in this Bait and Switch scam.

    We will be informing anyone and everyone on Social Media, Better Business Bureau, and leave negative reviews where ever possible to help keep other unsuspecting victims from being misled by Cheapo Air. There should be a Class Action Lawsuit brought forward for false advertising and consumer fraud on behalf of consumers..Cheapo Air should drop this dishonest tactic immediately.

    Bought two tickets from their website (of course, I did not read the THOUSANDS of horror stories about them on the internet prior to this, stupid me) and did not think anything about it. Total 1865$. For some reason a week later I needed to cancel them and I was offered by CheapOair to cancel them for a credit and pay a fee of 50$. I did. Then I searched their website and found a cheaper flight. I said to myself, "Cool, I'll buy this with my "credit"." That's where my horror story begins. You see, their system was blocking me from using my so-called "credit" to buy the flight. All it said was to call a number so I can use my "credit".

    So I call the number and end up in what seems to be a cheap Indian call center with rude, unprofessional staff that speak almost unintelligible English. I manage to explain that I want to use my "credit" to buy this particular flight and surprise...surprise... They laughed and said I need to pay full price for the flight (even though the flight was 1700$ and I had a so-called credit of 1865$). As if my credit was 0$ for them. After a couple minutes they even put me on hold for like 45 minutes then another rude Indian picked up the phone and eventually hung up on me.

    It didn't take me very long to realized the fraud they are doing, is that they claim you have a "credit" but it's completely impossible to use and if you want to book a flight you have to pay again. Well now it's been 1 month I have been trying to recoup my money or my "credit", it seems what they are doing is deliberate fraud. They owe me 1865$ and I am taking many legal actions against them, including a credit card chargeback. I want to warn anyone against doing anything with CheapOair - read all of the reviews (horror stories) about them first and avoid them like the plague. They are the worst scammers I have had to deal with in a long time.

    I booked a roundtrip ticket from Los Angeles to overseas on Feb. 2022 through CheapOair.com flying with Aeroflot. 2 Weeks later, US government banned this airline flying to or from USA. So, I called Cheapoair for a full refund and rep., who answered from another country named Harried, with bad accent and dogs barking in the background. Eventually, transferred to supervisor desk and person named Tushar told me that "airline has to refund your money but not us" (which is not true). He told me to call back in 24 hours because he was sending them email. I was calling them for next few days and been told same thing from 3 other supervisors. The last supervisor put me on hold for almost 1 hour to contact airline and told me she was unable to contact.

    Same time, while I was on hold, I called the airline myself from different phone and talked to the Aeroflot rep, who told me that I had to get my money back from the place of the purchase. It was total nightmare dealing with this company because the way they handle it makes me feel that I am not in USA, and this company is seems like scam. I didn't get my money back yet, which I saved for 2 year to buy this tickets. New tickets with different airline is $1000 more than I paid for because dates are closer. Fight is ongoing and I would not let the company owner enjoy my money in New York City. Stay away from this company. It was my mistake to not check the reviews before booking trough CheapOair.com. Many negative reviews for 2022.

    I bought tickets for flying July. First the tickets that showed verse what I finally got ended up being different. Second after 1 hour on the phone with one rude guy I get transferred, who helped me but told me that the one sector booking that they screwed up with the seats I have accept. Now I go to check insurance that I paid of 407 dollars. No confirmation, just the fact that I paid, The girl today on the line says, "Yes you paid but that's the confirmation where is the confirmation number? Which insurance company?" What do I have. I seem to have paid 30 dollars for travel assist. First guy says you get seat selection with that, I had done my homework, so I knew he was lying on asking more question I find out I have concierge service and few other. So far no Insurance confirmation number nether do I know where my travel assist charges went to. God I hate working with these people

    I was scheduled to fly from South Africa to Canada via Amsterdam. Travel bans from South Africa to the Netherlands had just been implemented so I tried to contact Cheapoair in as many ways as I could and never received a response from them. I tried to cancel my flight through Cheapoair because of the travel bans, but was unsuccessful because I couldn't reach an agent. A few hours before my flight was scheduled to depart, I received an email from Cheapoair saying that my flight had been cancelled for the portion of the flight to the Netherlands. I tried to contact Cheapoair to see what I could do to leave the country and was told that I was being redirected to the flight change department. I waited for an hour and had no response. Cheapoair had ended the conversation.

    I tried to contact Cheapoair again and was told that my flight had not been cancelled and that I was marked as a "no show". I have the email to show that the flight was cancelled! I was then referred to the same flight change department. This time I got the chat assistant to give me the number and email address for this department. I have tried for months to contact ANYONE at Cheapoair that can help and have still not had the issue resolved. Every time I try to reach an agent on their chat it takes me an hour of waiting. I am going to see if there is a legal route I can take. Don't use Cheapoair!!!

    We booked a flight to Paris in 2019 with Cheapoair, then the pandemic just killed our plans to go to Europe. Cheapoair was unable to offer a refund, while the airline would have. So, we wanted to change the flight to Cancun. Hours and hours talking to the Indian hotline later, we were able to do so, while losing about 2,000 CAD in taxes and processing fees. Cheapoair was not able to inform us, that the airline declined to reissue the tickets, so we canceled the hotel and had to rebook half a year later. At one point we had a direct flight between Cancun and Calgary, but the airline decided to cancel the direct flight and send us through Vancouver. A couple of days later the direct flight was back on their website, but CheapOair refused to book us on it again (no seats left - haha).

    Last but not least, the check-in process at the airport took us about 1 hour, because the flight tickets were disassociated. All in all, I would say I spent about 30 hours on multiple days in the waiting line of the hotline. Supervisors who wanted to call back in 24-48 hours never did. Sometimes the audio quality of the people calling back was so poor, that I had to simply hang up and try again. 90% of the people were completely incompetent and not helpful for example of the disassociated tickets... If there would be a zero-star rating, Cheapoair would deserve it...

    I booked a flight with Cheapoair last Dec 2022 but we had to cancel it due to covid lockdown. They converted it to travel credit for a fee of $50USD as cancellation fee. Now we have to use it before it expires and rebook a flight for same route and passengers. I’ve been contacting them for two days already and today 23 Feb 2022, Cheapoair is claiming they don’t have FULL control of my booking and Virgin Australia was claiming the same because my payments and booking was made through cheapoair. The two call agents of cheapoair was very rude they hang up on me. After the painful 7 hours of calling back and forth, cheapoair and virgin australia, Dave from Exchange Department was the only person who were able to finally helped me. He didn’t hang up on me like the two call agents from Cheapoair did, Dave stayed with me on the line until he was able to resolved my rebooking.

    Apart from Dave, I am extremely disappointed with their customer service And process. It feels like I was scammed By Cheapoair believing that I was able to book cheaper flight But in reality, I paid MORE!!! Than the actual price at Virgin Australia, plus the extra Charges.

    Cancellation fee $50USD (due to covid lockdown and travel restriction).

    Rebooking of my Travel Voucher $119.16USD.

    Cheapoair sent me an email that Rebooking fee is $0.00 but apparently this was also a lie/fraud/false marketing. I had no choice but to pay the rebooking of tickets. Cheapoair company and service is a total scam. It’s unfortunate that there are good People working in that company that’s affected with the totality of their service which is extremely poor and horrible. I will NEVER ever again, book flights with Cheapoair and I will tell all my family and friends to avoid this travel agency. Cheapoair caused so much emotional and mental anxiety & stress.

    I just wasted 3 hours on their "chat" option that really doesn't exist. The chat service has a countdown "timer" that keeps you hanging on as though a Representative "will be with you any moment now", but when you get from being 16 in the queue to being 3-4 in the queue, the chat box mysteriously disconnects. I tried it 3 times and each time it was exactly the same. It's the same for phone calls. I wish I had read all the nightmare reviews BEFORE I gave them my money. Now I know and I'd rather pay the Airlines more money and be treated like a valued customer. As the old saying goes, "You get what you pay for" and as Judge Judy says, "If it seems too good to be true, it probably is."

    I paid extra money to get a exit row seat on a long haul international flight. The seat I actually got was NOT an exit row seat. When contacting Cheapoair, they keep saying they are in contact with the airline to get my money back, even though they are the ones who charged me for the ticket. About 2 months and 20 emails later with their customer service (always initiated by me by the way to check on the status of this refund -- they never bother to follow up), still no concrete answer.

    Their lack of care and their relaxed attitude is quite astounding! They basically took that money and did NOT deliver the goods and they do not seem to care. If you are planning to get your tickets from them, please just understand that if you don't get what you are promised in terms of tickets and travel arrangements, they WILL NOT CARE and you will not see that money again. Do yourself a favor, pay a little extra and get your tickets from another company that believes in accountability and respect for their customers. ZERO stars!

    I was overcharged $116 for a flight. I called to request a refund to my credit card because the flight they booked me on they overcharged me. I see on American Airlines that the flight is $116 less. They are unwilling to give me a refund and I even called right at the 24 hour mark.

    I purchased Airline tickets for me and my daughter and received confirmation from the airline. Then when I checked my credit card statement charges were much different than the invoice that I received from the airline. There were additional charges totaling $175 which doubled the price of my tickets. I called a representative at CheapOair and was assured that my total price was as the invoice said. Then I checked credit card and the additional charges were still there. I tried calling back and every time It goes to a survey I can't get through. I tried chat for 2 hours only to be given different phone numbers which also go directly to a survey with no chance to get a person or support. I'm paying premium for tickets from a distant airport because it was suppose to be saving. I could have paid the same and went direct from my local airport. Stay away from these clowns at Cheapo.

    I booked for four passengers, my family, overseas flights, the app keeps show push-notes offering me to buy extra service that I do not want and I did not agree to. Yet, after I finish booking I found that I was charged those extra fee. They called me to convince me to keep them. The charges were much higher what I expected. I called customer service, a girl answered me and said that the fees will be refunded within 4 to 6 weeks, DID NOT HAPPEN. This was in last November 2021.

    Today, I repeated my mistake again. I booked for my friend. I did not agree on those extra fees they offer when go through steps of the booking. After finished booking I received an email telling me that they added those services that I did not agree to. The charges were 19.0, 19.0, 74.9.. Totaling 115$. This time I will not let it go. This is the last time I use this CheapOair. And I keep saying that to everybody I know.

    We, a family of four, have been booking international flights via CheapOair for over a decade; but our experience with CheapOair service in the last two years has been horrible. We needed to cancel our tickets twice due to Covid and CheapOair charged us $150 each ticket ($600 total) twice and lied to us saying it's the Airlines policy (American and Canada Airlines), of which we later found out that it was a total lie as the Airline like most airlines announced fee waivers due to Covid! Needless to say, they lose a loyal, regular customer and would recommend everyone to avoid them for the dishonesty and hassles (at least 4-hour wait for a customer service phone call)!!

    THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MY TICKETS PURCHASED ON CHEAPOAIR AND SPIRIT WAS $380. CheapOair are con artists. They added miscellaneous fees that drove my ticket price up from $748 to over $1000 for the same seats. Do not trust them.

    This is the worst booking service I have ever dealt with!! I booked a flight and because of covid, I wasn’t able to come back on the returning flight. Before booking I asked if I could change it with no extra fees, they said yes. When I was ready to make the change the amount they were asking me to pay even with the credit was the same amount as buying a brand new ticket. When I told them that the agent said they had coupons and could bring the price down. Which then let me know that they make up prices as they go. Even though I wasn’t happy I just paid the extra to not have a credit with them anymore.

    I booked a flight from Manila to San Francisco for my in laws. I made a mistake of misspelling my mother in law's name. Upon realizing that it was misspelled. I called within 2 hours of the booking. Agent I spoke says there would be a charge of $25 to make changes. Which I thought was ridiculous, but I was ok with. The call got disconnected somehow. Called back the next day and got another agent. Now this agent is saying that it's going to be $50 to make change. I told him that the other agent I spoke with told me it was $25. I got put on hold for so long and the call got dropped.

    Called back again and got another agent. It was female agent this time. I told her the situation and that all I need is to correct the name on the flight. She told me that she would have to rebook the flight and that the ticket price went up and that I would have to pay the difference of over $300 for the flight. I asked for Supervisor to speak with, she told me that they were all busy. It was a very bad customer service. I felt I was getting swindled. Ended up cancelling the booking. But, had to pay cancellation fee of $100. Not worth the hassle.

    Last January Cheapo changed our flight plans which resulted in a $230 refund due me and in which they sent an email to me on 2/1 confirming. As of this date I have yet to receive that refund despite numerous calls to them. Every call I am told it's being reviewed by billing and now almost a year a no refund. DO NOT BOOK ON CHEAPOAIR... Essentially they robbed me of money owed me. A credible and legitimate operation does not do that.

    I made the mistake of not checking their reviews before I booked my flight with them. The airline ticket is only 100$ more and by going the cheaper route, it is costing me 800 dolars. My partner was not able to board his flight due to covid, we purchased travel protection, and we are not able to get the ticket reiumbursed by either CheapOair or the airline. They said I have to contact insurance company, I did that - insurance company said the policy number given by CheapOair is not correct, so they are not able to find us in their system, meaning no reimbursement.

    CheapOair app shows that our flight is canceled but we have airline credits, so to use them, we have to call their customer service. So after 1h30 mins, being transferred by multiple agents, they said no we don't have airline credits so they refuse to honour the credits we see in our account. Asking to talk to a supervisor, you have to be very patient as the supervisor seems to be running away- I couldnt take it anymore. My head was going to explode! We still are not able to get our money back, not from CheapOair, not from their travel protection, not from the airline. The worst company in the planet, I swear!

    I booked a flight to go to the Philippines in March of 2020. But because the pandemic was starting to get worse, I phoned Cheapoair to cancel. I understand it was really busy and when I finally got a chance to talk to someone, I was told to call again 72 hours before my scheduled flight. I tried and tried and it was a challenge to get a hold of someone. It was a booking for two and I was hoping to get a refund and pay the admin fee. The staff I talked to advised me to call the Airline instead. There were connecting flights so I ended up calling the airlines. Westjet was really helpful but PAL told me to contact the ticketing agent instead, so I called Cheapoair. I purchased a travel insurance with this booking through their website so Cheapoair said they can't do anything about it and call the insurance company instead.

    The worst part, it was declined because apparently, covid was not covered. So, travel insurance seems to be a joke as well. My co-worker who booked the same as me got a refund so it was interesting how they decide (with travel insurance). I tried calling and emailing Chepoair for assistance and clarification but I received no response after that. It was very frustrating because I didn't get any help and no other explanation. I even quoted the booking number of my friend who got her refund back for their reference. I just lost my money like that?

    A lot of people I talked to got some credit for future flights but I was the unlucky one. I thought I was talking to professional people who understand and willing to help in every way they can to alleviate the stress and frustrations of their customers, but I thought wrong. I can't even fathom how they think it's alright. I hope they will still revisit my request and do something about it. I've used Cheapoair in the past and may consider using it again, but they need to learn to deal with their customers issues the best way they can and not leave them without answers.

    My son's dad booked my son and I a flight back home. Everything was in my name. I have been trying for 2 days to contact customer service because I never got my email confirmation. They keep saying they sent it to me and even "resent" it while I was on the phone. It's been 2 weeks and I still have not gotten an email confirmation. The hold times are crazy, I understand everywhere is short staffed right now but even when I get ahold of someone in the chat, the chat freezes and does not work. I will not be using this site again for any future bookings.

    Don't waste your time with CheapOair. Just book directly from the airline. Save yourself the hassle. Here's what happened: I booked my 12/29/21 to 1/6/22 round trip flight with CheapOair in July 2021. I paid $94 extra for assigned seats BOTH ways with extra legroom, which I needed because of a knee injury. I get to the airport the day of my first flight only to be seated in the VERY BACK with NO ROOM at all for 7 hours (I was in pain the whole way). And since I booked thru CheapOair, the airline couldn't/can't do anything. I had to wait until I got to my destination to call customer service.

    It took me 2 days to get someone on the phone because the chat option on their website DOESN'T WORK (the countdown timer is broken and when you get to the front of the queue, the chat just ends before you can even talk to someone). When I finally spoke to a rep, they kept telling me how the seating was reset because of some random change with the flight in October, which incidentally is not my problem. Then they tried to get me to pay TWICE for the return flight seat!

    They told me they would contact the airline to secure a seat for the last leg of the trip and to wait for a confirmation email (after I demanded that they use the money I ALREADY PAID to cover the fee of the seat I was promised) or a refund for what was paid already. That was 2 DAYS ago! I haven't received anything other than an early check-in email from the airline and my return flight is early tomorrow morning. Yet instead of enjoying my last day of vacation, I'm stuck on hold yet again with customer service... and have been all morning. At this point, I feel like they scammed me out of almost $100 and refuse to account for it. All this to say, I know for a fact that I will never use their service EVER again.

    I have book in CheapOair for my flight. 5 days before my flight, I called them and trying to cancel or re book my flight because I caught Covid 19. The company still asked me to pay for cancellation fee or rebooking fee. Asides from non refundable amount, they still charged me for that cancellation. This company is brutal, they couldn't take into consideration that a passenger caught covid. I would not recommend this.

    My experience with CheapOair has been a nightmare!!!! I was able to upgrade my flight to leave a day earlier for my trip online they took the difference out of my acct 179.00 then told me that flight was booked and I needed to call to make the changes instead of doing it online. I called the number they told me the site doesn’t let you make those type of changes to a reservation. I asked them if we’re not allowed to make those changes online why does it give you the option.

    Long story short they took the money out and I had to upgrade my flight on the phone and they charged me as additional 179.00 on top of what I already gave on the site. Today I see my acct is overdrawn and they canceled my last flight due to the changes I made to my reservation and took out an addition 748.00!!! They canceled my last flight didn’t refund me and instead took an additional 748 out of my acct…. This site is TRASH and unprofessional!!! They told me they would refund the money within 7-10 business days but what if that was my last and they took it from me during Christmas time they need to be shut down. This is my last time Booking through them.

    Had to pay a $300 fee per ticket to the airline after it clearly stated it’s a refundable ticket and then they (CheapOair). Charged me an additional $100 per ticket to cancel! Paid $3400 for my family of 5 and got charged $2000 in fees!!! What a rip off! SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!     I will make it a point to let everyone know and all review readers everywhere, DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM!!! It's not worth the few dollars saved. I had absolutely the worst experience with CheapOair. I don't understand why this company is not yet shut down. They changed our itinerary with long layovers and added layovers and despite being on the phone for over 8 hours, no one helped! Their answer is always, "We cannot do anything." They wanted me to cancel my flight and give me 500 and to rebook at a different date which they quoted me 2000 dollars. Just unbelievable! These scammers should go to jail for taking advantage of trusting customers.

    Very bad and untrustworthy. They did not help resolve refund issue with airlines when they did not let us board. They kept redirecting us to the airlines to talk and airlines kept referring to CheapOair. Very stressful and frustrating. I feel CheapOair is all out for making commission on every transaction without any interest in providing quality service to customers, whenever there is in airline services, first thing they mention is refund as they will still get their service fee, I strongly advise against using their services.

    So, I need to say that by error I'd paid more for my ticket for purchasing a one-way ticket when I meant to get a two-way. I therefore had to pay for the return portion with the company, but now my ticket was more expensive than if I'd gotten a return ticket from the start. I had to drive a hard bargain, but they refunded the portion for my error and did not charge me for an error in my name also. I had to send more than a few emails and make several phone calls with long wait times, but alas I even had to phone Air Canada for changing my name again, but CheapOAir waived the name change fee for me. They forgave my errors by not charging me more for them in the end. I ended up paying the same as initially discovered online.

    Worst Airline Ticketing Agency to deal with. Issued an Illegal ticket, Flying from San Francisco- Narita-Hong Kong - Manila. Agency knowingly issued a ticket to Transit in Hong Kong even though there is a Hong Kong Transit ban for foreign Nationals, which I was not aware of, or was notified by CheapoAir, as they hold no responsibility for the issuance of Illegal ticket issued as I was not allowed to board the flight from San Francisco, Cost me $600.00 just to get to fly to Manila, $200PCR test, $250.00 Airport Taxi going & coming back after flight denied & $150.00 ticket Change fees to the Airline for a new ticket. Spent hours on the phone trying to contact CheapoAir would get disconnected every time. This was the most gruesome experience I have had in a long time. Please do not use this company and get burned by them.

    CheapOair has the worst customer service that I ever had to deal with. Their automated line does not work, they are apparently always busy and never get back to you. When you try to make changes or cancel a flight due to medical concerns, they only provide you excuses on how they can’t help. Plan the airlines, tell you to call the airline who tells you to call CheapOair. They may provide cheap flights, but in return provide you with very cheap customer service.

    I have used Cheapoair for the past 10 years religiously to book all of my domestic and international travel. In the last 3 years I have had so many issues with this company, mostly trying to get ahold of anyone easily and resolving any issues with changing bookings/flights getting cancelled/etc. Last year I had a customer service representative be so incredibly rude and disrespectful to me, it was shocking to experience. A representative called me back and apologized for the behavior and gave me a credit to be used on a future booking. I tried using it today (after spending the past FOUR days on hold for HOURS trying to resolve my cancelled flights) and all the agents said my credit did not exist.

    When they put me on hold to try to resolve the issue, they disconnected the call every single time. Why am I spending so much effort and time trying to save a few dollars and having zero support (all outsourced to another country) when issues arise with the airlines?! I will not be using this company again, they continue to fail to follow through and are not transparent with their fees. I would rather give my business to a company that I can have the support and knowledge of customer service trying to do exactly that....Serve the customer, and help!

    UPDATE: They have answered my call and resolved the problem right away. There are no more errors shown on the website or in my itinerary. We will see if they spontaneously decide to cancel my flight or not as written in the reviews below.. But as of now, the customer service has highly improved. PREVIOUS REVIEW: Very bad assistance! I have an airline schedule change and I keep getting an error on the website. I need to verify it since the mail clearly says: "If you don't accept these options, there's no guarantee you'll be able to receive a refund." However, the website doesn't work! I keep getting the error: Seems like there is an issue with your request. I have always booked from this website, but after reading all the reviews, I'm noticing they have made several negative changes to their concept.

    I booked a flight 3 or 4 days prior to my trip, cost me a 1000 Canadian dollars, they sent me an email saying that my card is going to be charged again but they will return the amount and my booking information is still as is; I go to check in with the booking reference and E-ticket numbers they provided me and they don't work, contacted their bot and told me to call in the morning, am currently on the phone for 70 minutes and counting and the agent just put me on mute because he says he can't help me or transfer me to someone who can help me, as he can't access my booking. Even if you pay 100 extra dollars elsewhere it is much better for you, as I have been trying to resolve this issue for the past 12 hours and it seems like it's getting nowhere. They are not exactly reachable, and even when they are they can't be of much help.

    Imagine being muted just because the agent doesn't know what to do and just hoping that you would hang up and not complain about the quality of service provided. This is the 2nd time I book a flight here and the whole process is engulfed in uncertainty and unpleasant surprises (which ofc is not something you enjoy when you are traveling). And there is much more where this comes from as this is not the first time I face problems with their booking, and in summary booking with them again was a big mistake. From my personal experience, I wouldn't recommend this service to anyone.

    I tried using CheapOAir for overseas business travel. My company does not have a large travel budget and it seemed like a good option at the time. However after the worldwide pandemic my flights were canceled for June of 2020. At present time, I still have not received a refund nor have been able to reschedule our flights for a later day despite having called almost weekly for the past year and a half. I have spent 6 hours on hold today alone, I promise that is not an exaggeration.

    We had booked tickets for about 7 people with some of the travelers coming from another country. This was for April of 2020 and when the pandemic was declared travel was not possible and we had to cancel the tickets. CheapOair gave us credit for the tickets, but now they are required that the same 7 people can use only their portion of the credit. The pandemic has disrupted travel across countries and the travelers from outside the US cannot come in now. The rest of the passengers would like to use up the credit, but CheapOair is refusing to allow this.

    I would not recommend this company to make your travel purchases since I am going to deceive you. Their poor customer service is attended mostly by people from INDIA. Their website is a scam since when you make your purchase they approve the payment of your card credit but you get a notice saying that your reservation was not made completely pending part of the process. It seems to me that it is not a company that cannot be trusted reliable. Also its cancellation policies are ridiculous and are always against of the buyer.     My experience with CheapOair has been nothing but lies and ** from their customer reps! Buyers must beware! I had booked two international return tickets through cheapoair site in March 2021. Right after booking, I realized return trip date would take me over stipulated 180 days; so called them right away. After long wait, I was able to talk to a live customer service person. He confirmed me that change was completed in date for 9/23 instead of 9/25. After that, when I checked; it did not reflect yet. So I waited till next day and then called again. After long wait, the new CSR said that since it was beyond 24 hrs, no further changes were allowed.

    Luckily, the I-94s for my parents were valid till 9/25. As date of travel neared; I called them yesterday that due to travel restrictions, they will not be able to travel and I had applied for their stay extensions. They mentioned I need to write to Air India (my actual carrier) to ask for refund instead of cheapoair. They also provided me an incorrect number and email ID to get in touch with carrier. After the email bounced, I checked on Google and found correct contact details for Air India and am now following up with them instead.

    I understand that the pandemic has been really hard on travel agencies, but my experience with this company has been a nightmare. The customer service is terrible- super long waits, surly and/or uninformed representatives, unclear policies- there's just not much to redeem them. The hidden "service fees" are so high that it offsets the value of their lower rates. I've lost hundreds of dollars to them. So I would advise you to steer clear and use either a more friendly, transparent website or just work directly with the airlines.

    I had been trying to book an international flight using their service and I chose the flights that I wanted, Went to Payment and they gave you the option to pay using 2 cards so I said to myself: that's Awesome. My fare would cost around 1038$ so I paid using my discover and MasterCard. The fare was partially charged which left me with outstanding balance and therefor they said they couldn't issue the ticket until I pay in full. It does make sense Right?!, so I tried more than five cards for different banks and each card has more than enough to do the job but NO, I kept getting this Error message which told me that my payment was declined and I need to try another one which I did and did and did.. with no success. Even I called them more than three times and gave them my cards to complete the transaction from their end but nothing has changed.

    NEXT DAY.... I called to know what's going on, one of the customer service representatives said something that sounded logical to me; Your cards kept getting declined because the return flight has been canceled so you need to choose another one and pay the difference. At this moment I wanted to get this over with so I told him okay and I searched and called them back. At this moment there was 390$ outstanding. They told me okay then, "With your new return flight you need to pay 435$ which includes the outstanding balance plus the difference," and I said Okay. After multiple tries on my discover card it went through and he said the E-ticket would be issued shortly. I thanked him even though the waste of time and the effort that I spent with all these calls which each and every one of them lasted no less an hour.

    I waited .. waited and I received no E-ticket, So I called: "Hello where is my ticket" - "Yah, it is in the queue and will be issued shortly." This is the short answer because I had to explain the whole situation over and over to everyone I talked to. So After 2 Hours I called and been told too to wait. At this point I knew it. They are stalling, they want me to wait until my first 24 hour to come to end and after that simply I can't get my money back without losing something. So I told that is it cancel my booking with no regrets other than using their service. It was the First and The last time I consider Booking with them.

    CheapOair stole my money during the pandemic and refused to transfer my call to anyone who could help me. I was screamed at by 2 customer services reps -mind you as someone in customer service I kept my voice even, kind, and calm the entire conversation. I asked to speak to a supervisor more than a few times and was denied. I was then hung up on.

    If you are anything like me you will read this review unbiasedly and attempt to make the most educated decision when purchasing through CheapOair. That's what I did. I regret my decision. I didn't listen to the reviews because I know that reviews tend to be on the negative side while there are usually many positive experiences. That was not the case and I am out thousands of dollars because of their deceptive policies and regulations. Don't do it, friends. There are too many other options. Don't even risk it.

    Cheapoair. DO NOT USE CHEAPOAIR!!!! This is the worst airline ticket vendor you will ever use! I had to change my flight because my elderly mom had to be rushed to the hospital. That prevented me from taking my return flight as scheduled. I called to change my flight and they were going to charge me $50.00 per ticket penalty! When I told the agent how outrageous that was he reduced it to a penalty fee of $25.00 per ticket. Clearly a rip off but it didn’t stop there! They credited me only $123.00 of a ticket that cost more than $300.00!!! I had to pay the difference for a new flight with Delta from JFK to Ft. Lauderdale which was $70.00! They sent me an email “Confirmation of Itinerary Changes” which did not include the tickets. They said the email with the tickets would arrive in an hour. THREE HOURS LATER THE EMAIL HAD NOT ARRIVED!!

    It was now 11 pm and I had to be up at 5 am to board a 7:50 am flight. The second email with the tickets had still NOT ARRIVED!! I tried to call them but received a recording stating they are only open on phone line from 8am to 2 am!!! I could not check in online or with an app because I had not received the email. I arrived at Delta check in counter to check in and was told that they had no reservation from Cheapoair for me!!!! They told me since I used Cheapoair instead of Delta it is my problem (even though they clearly have a partnership!). Delta charged me $336.00 for a one way ticket to Fort Lauderdale!!! Couldn’t wait til 8 am to call the Cheapoair and inform them of this disaster they caused!

    I had to cancel their flight because of the pandemic and I was issued a credit for the purchase price of the tickets $790.80 for them to use prior to 12/31/21. I tried to book a flight for my granddaughter today and they wanted to charge me almost $500 for the new ticket AFTER the credit was applied. If I booked the ticket through the airline directly it would have only been $580 for the same flight. So it looks like I've been ripped off for the $790.80. Never again!

    If I could give zero, I would. Our flight was cancelled. It literally took several hours of online and phone to reach a person. We were told that they will refund the ticket price within 2 billing cycles, but baggage and other fees are non refundable. This is outrageous when it is the airline that canceled in the first place.     I booked international flight from Delhi to Chicago on 5th paying a good amount for 3 tickets. Flight I choose shows transit from Abu Dhabi but no where it mentioned that I need to collect my baggage and check in at Abu Dhabi. When I called agent regarding baggage issue I was told that I would need transit visa for Abu Dhabi. When I asked to cancel my flight since I would not be allowed transit visa due to current restrictions, I was told to connect to someone from cancellation department. I been calling everyday spending 2-3 hours with different agents for cancellation and hearing same standard response "sent email to vendor would need to wait for 24/48 hours".

    My connection to Abu Dhabi got rescheduled on 9th. Now since 9th I am calling everyday to cancel my Abu Dhabi to Chicago booking and still same response. Now it's less than 48 hours left for flight from Abu Dhabi to Chicago which I can't make to anyways I been told there would be cancellation charge (as per ticket cancelled today), no detail of what the amount would be. Seems like company doesn't care about experience, "what you do is your problem, we just want our money, All hassles is your problem". Oh btw my flight was suppose to be on 16th and still no cancellation of ticket and in call with Supervisors from last 3 hours.

    When you call, they are nice when you book a flight. However, when there’s an issue with your flight or you need to change it, they become a nightmare. There was four of us traveling using CheapOair and we all experienced the same thing and lost lots of money with them!!! We had flights canceled, dates changed and you can’t get anybody on the phone to help, they keep transferring you. They will transfer you and you could be on hold literally for 3 to 4 hours and then they still weren’t able to help!! DON’T ever use them. I never write reviews, but the experience was so horrible I felt I needed to warn other people and the amount of money we all lost was ridiculous!!

    I booked four tickets for my family members and also got a $65 insurance. It was an international flights. When the day of flight came, it was cancelled. We had to return from airport. In addition, it has been well more than a month that I am asking for a refund which the insurance was for, they toss me between CheapOair and the airline company. I have spoken several times with the airline. They say there was no issue on their end. I am still trying to issue refund and didn't get any help. When buying the tickets, as I would call them, they would answer immediately with my reservation number already attached to my number. However, when I wanted to issue a refund, they put me on long holds (+20mins) and bothered me so much. This has been really frustrating and I feel like I was scammed. I would never recommend them for their bad services.

    I booked a round trip flight for my elderly father from Boston to Abuja and back. June 11th traveling from Boston and Aug 11th to return. The flight was booked months ahead. 5 days prior to the Aug 11th return flight, I received numeral emails from cheap o air stating the flight has been changed and I should click a link to accept the new changes. I clicked the link. Then I received a call from cheap o air stating his flight has been canceled.

    I called them back and was on the phone for hours. The representative stated that it’s either I asked for a refund or she can transfer the call to an agent who can rebook the flight with additional fees! She then transferred the call to another agent and I asked the agent why would my flight be canceled 5 days prior to the flight. He now places me on hold for 30mins and came back. His words were I don’t see a ...” and the call went on mute.

    Now I believe he deliberately placed the call on mute because I did not hang up for over 3 hours. At this point it was 1230am at night. The next day I called the airline directly. United airlines to be specific and they told me that the flight is still on and not canceled. After the call to United, the next day I received another email from CheapOair about the flight being canceled.

    I deliberately went on United Airlines website to check the status. Lo and behold the flight was still scheduled and I also updated my information on United airlines platform because cheap o air left my email info as “customer@declined” and no phone number. I will never use cheap o air again as this act of fraud is not ok. Finding manipulative ways to extort money. BEWARE!

    I was searching for a flight to take my 90 year old Dad to see his only remaining brother. As I had already booked the Airbnb and rental, the flight was the last piece I needed. After searching, I found the flight I was looking for, so I entered my credit card information. As the cost changed, I decided to let it go for the night and revisit it the next day. Within 5 minutes, I received call from CheapOair. After speaking with someone for over 30 minutes, I was able to book what I thought was the flight I had requested. It was late at night, so I went to bed.

    A few days later, it dawned on me I never received a confirmation email, so I went to their site. Much to my dismay, I discovered the agent booked a flight coming back a day earlier than discussed. I called CheapOair, and after being on the phone for over 90 minutes and speaking with three different people, I was informed they would pull the recording of the call, and I should call back the next morning. I called back this morning, and after 45 minutes on hold and speaking with two people, I was informed they had not even requested the recording, and after they request it takes 24 - 48 hours. This woman tells me I should expect a callback within 2 - 3 days. When I informed her the prior agent stated I should call back within 10 hours, she said she could not help me with what someone else said. I also asked if I could also receive a copy of the recording, but she stated that was not possible.

    I now have to wait another 2 - 3 days in order to get a resolution. I have zero faith they will actually listen to the recording, especially since they will not give me a copy. I am a frequent flyer, so I always book my own flights. Since my Dad is travelling with me, this was a different scenario. This has been a time consuming and money wasted lesson. I will NEVER use CheapOair again! I was cheated out of both time and money, both of which I can never get back. Find another way to book, or you, too will be cheated!!

    Gave this company a try, for the most part it was alright. First leg of our trip to Myrtle Beach was great. Sadly the very last flight of our trip was booked as a bus trip, without confirming with us if that was what we wanted. With the bus trip being listed under the airline name instead of the actual bus company name, we didn't catch it until we were on day 2 of our trip. The problem with the bus trip was that we got into Newark at 12:30 and we're supposed to sit until 3:00 to board a bus to travel to Lehigh Valley international. It is only a little over an hour's drive between the 2 destinations, our layover would have been longer than just renting a car and driving. Which is what we ended up doing after several failed attempts trying to get customer service to call us back. Clearly, their agents need some training on the proper way to confirm all aspects of trips with their clients. Wasn't a horrible experience but we will never use them again.

    I booked my tickets, checked the box to upgrade the flight. I was charged for the upgrade but did not receive the upgrade. This is the second time I have used them. BOTH times I received erroneous charges to my credit card after the initial agreed payment. Both times I had to go to my credit card company for reimbursement. They say you get what you pay for. Not true with CheapOair. They seem to take what they want.

    Like many, I fell for the cheap prices CheapOair offers. We purchased 2 international tickets for $1900 last year. COVID came and we couldn't travel, so we had to pay $200 to put the tickets on hold. They said I could use them until the end of 2021. Called them today to rebook my flight, and was told I had to pay extra $1560 to be able to fly and not even to my destination, but somewhere "close". I see that those flights cost $900 online. So I can either pay $1560 to exchange or $1800 to buy 2 brand new tickets. So the $1900 I paid earlier and $200 to "hold my tickets" is basically worth nothing. WE LOST $2100 and have no tickets basically!

When I attempted rebook using the credit, I was told by CHEAPOAIR that the $685.99 flight listed on their website would be almost $400 more only because I was using a credit. So the $400+ that was credited would in actuality only be about $100-$200. She said that was the Airline (Avianca's) policy. Contacted Avianca. They advised that they had no such policy. If it would have been booked directly through Avianca, they would have credited all of the money less a $35 fee. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! CAVEAT EMPTOR!

    The customer service was horrible, it would be nice if their agents spoke English and maybe their call center wasn’t located in India. All agents had such a heavy accent it was very hard to understand them or comprehend what they were saying. I finally asked for a manager and the manager was rude, incompetent and had no sympathy towards my situation whatsoever. I recommend going through Expedia or the airlines itself. That way when you book they don’t change your flight times. CheapOair always changes your flight times from the original you booked with.

    I am an operating room nurse whose flight times were changed and they would not accommodate me to an earlier flight even though they changed the flight. I tried explaining my situation seven times to seven different people at cheapo air and was disconnected three times and not One agent called me back. I spent over eight hours and finally gave up.     Please don’t use Cheapoair, they are untrustworthy. If there is issue with your itinerary. They are not willing to accommodate or help. You are better off buying from the airline carrier directly. My experience was so bad, all they were after was some stupid $25 processing fee. Agent told only Carrier airline can give refund, I then called Airline myself, Airline informed me that ticket was bought from an Agent, therefore I should contact them for refund and cancellation. I will never recommend this travel to anyone. Thank You.

    My review is a minus 10. This company is just not worth using. I have used them for years but no more! I booked a flight from Flagstaff AZ to Everette, WA. The airlines made changes and put me on a red eye. It took me a couple weeks to actually reach an agent. Finally I got through to them after at least 15 tries. The female agent, that I could not understand changed my flight at no charge. She changed my flight and moved it from Everette to Seattle and I did not catch it. Why would Cheapo change my location? Who does that??

    It took me two weeks to finally reach a human at cheapo. First I was in chat, he was looking for a flight into Everette. Then of course I was dropped from chat. I had given the guy my phone number and he did not call me back. I had to call back and sit and wait AGAIN! This call I spoke with Varion. This guy proceeded to yell at me. I asked why he was yelling at me, his reply was that he wasn’t. HE WAS! He yelled at me some more.

    Now, if I wanted to change the arrival airport it would be at least another $200, possibly more! I told him I had purchased my original flight I paid for the level that allows for free changes. He did not care. Also, this is the most expensive flight to the PNW, almost $600!! Now I am screwed and having to fly into SEA. This booking site is worthless! I have used them previously but never again. They just lost my business over the major screwups!

    They are almost impossible to reach. You are on your own. They use an awful call center out of India. THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AND DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. When the agent gets frustrated they start yelling at you. This agent kept yelling and trying to make it my fault. X “number of days since the change was made”, “why didn’t you call sooner”. Because I was looking at the times and didn’t think they would change where I was flying into! Who does that? I had tried calling, for 2 weeks! Regardless I will not use them again. I used to think their pricing was better than others. They are not! And top it off with agents you cannot understand. They are rude!

    The customer service team @ CheapOair is unsupportive, unprofessional and rude. I'd called them for the same issue for 10 times and issue was still not resolved. I, then asked to transfer call to someone in the leadership team and they hung up on me. Please stay away and avoid CheapOair. They are not worth the money and provide a terrible customer service.

    My family booked a trip to Italy in February 2020 to travel June 2020 but, because of COVID we needed to cancel the trip. CHEAPOAIR told us that the airlines wouldn't return the money but we could use it as a credit for future travel. The matter of the fact is that we tried to book in July of this year, knowing that we could use it until July 3rd but weren't able to do so because CHEAPOAIR said that it expired although the Airline said we would be able to use it before June 23rd, returning July 3rd. To make the story short, at the end CHEAPOAIR kept our money without even having the decency to tell us in detail why when I called them so many times before June 23rd they weren't able to book new flights. They just ripped us off in our face. Don't use this company that operates outside the USA.

    Purchased a ticket to fly from Amman to JFK on Austrian Airlines. Before the flight departure I had an incident and could not fly on that day. I called the company trying to cancel the ticket, but the customer agent refused to do so and make me change the date and charged my card $331. On the new date I again could not travel, I called to cancel the ticket, again they refused to do so and this time they asked for another $900, I refused to take the scam, and lost the ticket. In August I purchased another ticket on Delta airlines. Austrian airlines policy of cancelation prior departure is to lose $120 of the value of the ticket.

    During covid-19, I had to cancel a flight. I called, emailed, multiple times - they assured me I had a credit I could use later. They did not. They took my money and refuse to refund or credit. Worse, they wasted my time, telling me to call the airlines directly - only to be told that CheapOAir never told them to issue a credit. Instead wasting more of my time calling various airlines, for nothing - I will book elsewhere. BUYER BEWARE. DISHONEST. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. NEVER, NEVER AGAIN. A decade with this company - gone.     Absolutely horrible experience with this "company". The wife and I had booked a flight 6 months in advance to take a trip to Iceland. Somehow our flight itinerary managed to change about 7 or 8 times before our trip which was no big deal, we're flexible. The night before our trip (our flight was at 6:30 am) I check the flight number to make sure of terminal, gate and time. It says TBD. Here I am figuring that it would be updated in the morning and I'd get on my plane. So I leave it alone and set my alarm for 3:30 am so we can get ready to go.

    I get to the airport and the flight doesn't exist. Come to find out after calling CheapOAir and sitting on hold for an hour the flight was cancelled 3 MONTHS AGO and CheapOAir never gave us a single notification. I called them very upset and they told me it was the airline's fault (of course it is) and unfortunately there were no other flights available and I had no options (which was false). I asked for a full refund and I was told that only part of my 2000 dollars worth of airfare could be refunded. Absolutely unacceptable. I will be disputing with my credit card company.

    Luckily I was able to scramble and find a flight out that same day through Priceline which cost me an extra 500 dollars and we will only be losing 1 day of our trip. This company is horrible. Do not waste your time. The website is garbage, the customer service is garbage and they will go out of their way to screw you. I guess that's what I get for being a cheapo. Thanks for nothing!

    Gate changes are a possibility that is why the airlines do not always provide that information too prevent people from checking in at home and going to a gate that may no longer house that flight. You will get all that information at the counter or on the monitors at the airport. Did you experience a problem without that information your post didn't mention it?

    I have booked a ticket with CheapOair to Belarus for 1 of July 2021 to Belarus by Delta and Belavia from USA with layover in Amsterdam. Due to political situation flights are banned to fly to Belarus from and in EU from 27 May to 30 October 2021 to the EU! That you can see on official website of Belavia company!!! CheapOair representatives keep saying to me that there aren't any changes in flights even though they are!!!! They refused to refund the money, even though it's not my fault!!!     My wife booked a flight through American Airlines but she accidently clicked the wrong dates. The dates we wanted were much more expensive so we decided to cancel after a few hours. Their refund policy states that they'll refund the full amount if the cancellation takes place within 24 hours. However, they charged us a $70 "administrative fee" to cancel. This, to me, is extremely deceptive and the company should not be allowed to do this. I will not be booking through them again.

    I would recommend against using CheapOair, especially because of their customer service. I was planning to travel home in 2 days, I had already made arrangements and invested in my international travel heavily. Today morning at 9 AM I get an email that my trip is canceled. This is unjust and unprecedented. No reason was cited for the cancellation. On top of all that, I have been on hold on call for the last 45 minutes and the wait time says 91 mins on the online chat. I had purchased flexible tickets, free cancellations, etc, but this is very poor service. Once I reached Queue position 5, they put me back again in 13. Due to the lack of communication and poor service, I will end up paying 3-4 times the initial price of my ticket due to a last-minute booking through a travel agent.

    The airlines that we ended up booking has changed or canceled our flights multiple times before the actual trip. We are now one week away. I logged on the website to verify our booking, to come & find out they did again this time without notification. I’ve been on hold with the website so far for (no joke) 3 hours. Still no resolution.     My family booked a flight to Hawaii through them in June of 2020 in hopes that Hawaii would be open in time to go by December of 2020. As we all know, 2020 being what it was, this did not happen. Our flight was cancelled by Hawaiian Airlines due to Covid19. Okay, that part was understandable. Now we can get to Cheapo Air's part in the debacle. We were told BY THEM that our credit would stay with Hawaiian Airlines and be good for 2 years. Ok, that's fine. We attempted to book another trip and was told that our credit was through Cheapo Air (exactly the opposite of what we were originally told).

    Now, after MONTHS of trying to get ahold of this useless company, they're attempting to steal over $3,000. Over the last few months we've received all kinds of answers from them in order to delay anything being done by them. We were told we would be refunded, we were told it was good for years, we were told that all we had to do was wait. Most recently, we talked to them and were told not only are we not being refunded, but that the credit will only be good through July of this year. This isn't possible since they intentionally delayed telling us about it for over 6 months. NOT ONLY THAT, but they will be taking $1,000 off of the credit for "change and cancellation fees" that was done through Hawaiian Airlines and was 100% out of our control. Unless the money is refunded, they have thoroughly stolen $3,000 from us. STAY AWAY.

    Stephanie, the credit is with Hawaiian airlines,what they mean is that because you bought the ticket through a 3rd party, you have to call them, Cheapoair to book the new reservation, and you can only fly on Hawaiian airlines that is who the credit is on, so not sure what the concern here is. It's a matter of how you perceive the process of how the credit is to be used. We handle it just like if it was purchased with the airline directly.     Ok, so after a year of comes and goes, I finally can rest happy on this. I am updating the score to "Satisfied" for the people at Billing and Exchange departments that helped me from February onwards and also for whoever is in charge of following cases on this website. I do not know their names, but thanks for finding a solution.

    All in all, I still feel that a lot of work has to be put on Customer Service and overall feedback on these kind of cases where people is not able to complete flights for external reasons. Also, my request became frozen at least 3 times, and communication across different CheapOAir teams did not seem very well oiled. I found myself many times speaking with people that were not aware of how the concerned team was doing with the case and this made all the process really slow because I had to keep explaining the case over and over. Luckily, the case is closed now.

    I purchased two flights (1008 U$D) from New York to Argentina in November 2019 to be used May 2020 but, due to COVID, Azul flights were cancelled and money put to credit (for which they charged an additional fee). It was not possible to use 1 year valid flight credit as the route became unavailable due to pandemic. One of the times I called to get information about credit they told me it expired so we went for refund option with the Airline. After endless calls, I ended up getting refund request approval on February 10th 2021 as airline was allegedly authorizing it. After this, I was ghosted nearly 4 months by billing department (never replied my e-mails) and customer service often provided useless information.

    Finally, on May 26th 2021 I was able to connect with Exchange Department and find out they still need authorization for Billing Department to approve refund. After calling the airline I found out that CheapOair was able to call them at any point and they will authorize the refund as they have all the details of my cancelled flights. I cannot believe It's been more than a year since this all started, I'll start legal actions if I do not get confirmation from their newest "authorization request" to the airline in the next 48 hours. Scammers, do NOT use CheapOair!

    We have used Cheap-O-Air numerous times and have been relatively problem free. Our most recent booking had a flight cancellation "because of covid" which we were notified about approximately one week before departure. Now we have a proposed overnight stay in Germany at our own expense, also setting us back one full day. The airline cancelled the flight so Cheap-O-Air is presumably blameless in this, fine. However, when I asked how to recoup some of the unintended expenses possible by using our rewards or even just to check on our rewards balance, I was transferred to someone "who can definitely help you with that." The next person said they had no access to any helpful information and that I would have to go online to find out. I get that this is a third-party company but it just doesn't feel like customer service was a priority on this one. It'd be nice to have that 20 minutes back. Can't say we'll use Cheap-O-Air again, rewards or not.

    I purchase a flight from Los Angeles to New Zealand for a conference in August of 2020, Covid hit and the conference is canceled. I have spent a year and 3 months trying to get my money back. Every time I call the Customer Service they tell me the airlines have my money. I call the airlines for a refund and they say Cheap O Air has the authority to issue the refund, Every month I go through this Merry go Round.

    They say I have a credit with an airline that does not go where I want to go at this time. I ask, "Can I use the credit for a flight I want?" and they say, "We will give the information to another department to see what they can do, then no one ever calls back. I will spend an average of 3 hour on each phone call and get the same result. Nothing. I can even use the credit. Terrible company, terrible customer service. They have held over a $1200 of my money for a service that was canceled by the airline and somehow they have legally held on to that money for over a year.

When I used the booking number to cancel within 24 hours they told me I had "no trips." The booking number produced no trips so how did they charge me with a flight that didn't exist!!     I booked my ticket May 13 2020. I read that I had 24 hours to refund my money. I did not see that I would be charged a 50 dollar fee for the refund. Is it just me but if you say you give refund then charge a person a fee, then it's not really a refund? After long wait on hold the eastern Indian lady was very nice on trying to reduce or waive the fee, which she did down to $35.00. I will never go through them again. I had even bought the cancellation insurance, but that only covers you if the airline cancels. Just so you know I wanted refund because a friend of mine seeing how much I got charged found a flight for less than half than CheapOair charged me my air fare 462. My friend found a fare 230 roundtrip. Should have used another search engine like Kayak or anything else. Anyway I was not impressed and very angry.

    Looking for 1 way reasonable flights to SD. Found an American Airline ticket and somehow got hooked onto CheapOAir for the reservation. I'm far from computer savvy, so didn't realize I was not directly with the airline. I checked the box for 2 adults to fly to SD. Made the first reservation for myself then waited to get prompt to enter for my husband's ticket. Their site never gave an option for Ticket #2, so I phoned the number. My fare was a total of $459.89 with the flight so naturally I expected the same price for husband's fare since it was within minutes of the first booking. When the customer Service rep. quoted almost $500 I told her forget it I would just cancel the first ticket. After unsuccessfully trying to convince me that it was the best she could do, she got a supervisor; and somehow they managed to get the 2nd fair to $460.73 within pennies of the 1st fare so I said, "OK book it." Using all the same information from the first ticket with exception of the name.

    After I booked hotel and rental car the 3 day weekend came to over $2300 so we decided it was just too much for a short weekend and called within the 24 hour period to cancel. The clerk informed me that my fare would be refunded but my husband was a NON-CANCEL SUPER SAVER fare and they would not be refunding the money for his fare. I advised him that the ticket has cancellation provision printed on it which allows for up to 24 hour cancel; and he said No because of something the agent read to me on the phone. I insisted I want and expect a 100% refund of all charges with CheapOAir. He said a supervisor would call me within 24 hours which it ended up to be almost 48 hours before I got a call back and the supervisor said NO REFUND OF THE 2ND FARE.

    When I contacted my credit card carrier CheapOAir had 7 separate charges of 1 which was a payment directly to American Airline. I disputed every one of the charges and it may take as long as 90 to 120 days to resolve this matter. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AND I WILL BE MUCH MORE CAREFUL ABOUT THESE COMPANIES IN THE FUTURE.

    We booked a flight to Los Angeles in October 2020 for April 2021. My boyfriend was having up to 4 bloody noses a day and we found out he has a deviated septum and he had to have surgery. We tried to get our money back but all they did was give us a partial credit and make us pay an extra $50 for that. When we tried to use the credit they tried to charge us an extra $93 in service fees. I am trying to call United to see if I can get a refund. The worst part is that he paid for insurance and he can't get ahold of the insurance company by phone, e-mail or fax.

    Updated on 05/08/2021: FLIGHT IS NEXT WEEK SUNDAY, NO CAR. I had booked a car rental for 8 day stay in Honolulu a month ago with Cheapoair. NOW it's cancelled because of a miscommunication of a travel agent, I was expecting a refund of one day worth instead my WHOLE BOOKING is cancelled. The airline kept on changing my flight times, and in the end we ended up losing a day off of our trip, so all I wanted was a refund or a discount for the 1 day lost on the car rental booking. I paid around $658 previously, now they are saying that it will cost $6000 for the same car and only 7 days of renting. Cheapoair not only has horrible customer service, hanging up on calls, flights being constantly changed, and no communication to customers. I have no idea how I will be traveling around Hawaii, I guess I'll just WALK!

Which Ive done every single day, and no progress has been made. They escalated my case to HR, and we still have not gotten a call back or ANY progress on our reservations.     The price is supposed to be competitive, not only it is not, but they increase it from Rack Rates directly reserved at the Hotel. Not good business practice when the site name is CHEAP O Air and one expects to get a competitive rate, Cheapoair needs to change the name or decrease the profit that Owners are hoarding.

    I have spent a total of 2 hours waiting after the useless chatbot told me an average of about 5 minutes. They ask in advance what it is about, and when you choose cancel, they leave you hanging. I did get someone fairly quickly with another issue, but it seems they avoid refunds by forcing the chatbot on you to make you reveal what you want, then simply never responding. If you want your flights changed without your consent without being able to cancel, this is your service. I, on the other hand, will be booking directly with the airlines from now on.

    We bought a ticket yesterday where the customer service assured us that the flight was refundable within 24 hours (22nd April 2021). Interestingly enough we were booked on a flight we wouldn’t be allowed to transit through due to the country’s COVID Guidelines that the company had no idea about. However when we called back to cancel after we found out about the country’s guidelines, a few minutes before the 24 hour period we were constantly put on hold till the period expired.

    The app did not allow us to cancel tickets and we were being directed to customer support who spoke to us as though we were not initiating the cancelling process through their app. We were not allowed to talk to supervisors, were given wrong information that airlines are not refunding or cancelling tickets. That’s USD $1800 of our hard earned money that feels like it was practically scammed from us by placing us on hold for extremely long periods of time. This is extremely unfair and unprofessional for a company, especially during COVID -19.

    I booked a business class round trip ticket via Cheapoair for $4500 and the flight was cancelled due to Covid. Cheapoair offered me a voucher, charged a $25 fee, and assured me that I could rebook the same exact flight as soon as the covid restrictions were lifted. Nine days later the restrictions were lifted so I immediately called to rebook and they wanted to charge me an addition $9,000 (yes, that's - NINE THOUSAND DOLLARS) to rebook the same flight and threatened to cancel the voucher if I didn't pay.     I booked my flight plan 6 months back and due to Covid I had to change my plan. I called them and asked them to change them since the first change in flight plans are for free. They said that the airlines charges money and not the agent, which is a complete lie. However, I agreed and paid the change of flight fee. Post that due to the increasing Covid cases I was unable to fly and asked to cancel my flight. The first agent gave me a quote for cancellation fee which is apparently a "FLAT FEE" from the airlines.

    After reconsidering I called them to cancel my flight and they changed that flat fee. I called the airlines to understand the cancellation fee, and the fee was 100$ each ticket and full refund. Whereas, CheapOair charges 260$ each ticket and 1/3 of my refund is apparently lost and not given back as a penalty. So folks, if you are going through CheapOair make sure that you know your risks. Apart from that when I first asked about cancellation they said that tickets can't be cancelled, when I yelled at them and asked them to check their records, they said it's now refundable but there are ridiculous fees. I really hope that CheapOair gets the karma it deserves because it seems like this company has zero professionalism and it's more like a scam call center. Know where you put your money. Would recommend all my friends and family to never contact or even open CheapOair website. #ConsumerRights

    I’ve booked a flight from India to Canada for the date April 20, 2021 at 10 pm. A fews days prior to the departure, they send an email suggesting to change the departure date to April 24, 2021. I accepted it as I was flexible with the dates. As I haven’t received the updated itinerary, I contacted them on April 18th. They said my flight is on April 20th 9 AM which I’m not even aware of. When I asked them to modify the date as I need time to take covid test prior to departure, they asked me for an extra 1000 dollars as the fare changes. They are really unprofessional. American Airlines shows the credit; but stated I had to go through CheapOair to rebook. I called CheapOair today 4/14/2021 and they stated they would not honor the flight credit. It was my problem. Cheapoair in my opinion it a total rip off. Once they get their upcharge there is no customer Service. I recorded the call and will be posting on youtube. I was stupid for going through them. The $30 I saved cost me over $1800, hoping to pick up some traction on our local news channel. Buyer beware. Michael

    BUYER BEWARE --- Both of our International flight reservations back to the US were canceled 2x due to connecting flight time issues. CheapOAir will only partially refund the ticket, they keep $50 of the refund for service and tax fees even though THEY canceled on us. Be prepared to spend 1 hour on the phone. The customer service reps are very professional but I will NEVER use the website again! I do not trust them.

    I’ve been a fairly loyal CheapOair customer for the past 10 years. There’s been a few issues here and there, but not too bad. I booked a flight Thanksgiving 2020, which I cancelled due to COVID. I was offered flight credits instead of a refund, which I was happy with. However, I purchased the flight for me and my brother - apparently the credits were distributed to both of us, not the payer (myself). So I could not use these credits unless I flew with my brother. This is a crazy policy... I paid for the flights! I should get the credits I paid for. In addition, over the phone I was not given the price found on the website. The representative said it was because of a difference in cost level? It didn’t make any sense to me and he couldn’t explain it adequately, to me. These policies are crazy and make me wonder about using them again.

    We were on route to Jacksonville, FL. I went online to CheapOair website and saw rooms at one of the major motels for $49.95 per night, I contacted, CheapOair Hotel Reservation. Was told that the price would be $69.95 per night. But they could put me at another motel at that price. I made reservations for four days. We arrive at the motel at about 3 p.m. To our surprise it looked like a motel for the homeless. We checked in anyway, while checking my companion asked to use the restroom. We were told that it was out of order.

    We were given a room at the rear of the motel on the second floor. Going up the stairs there was a strong smell of urine. After the room I pulled back the spread the sheets had stains and pubic hair. The spread and sheets looked as if they hadn’t been washed. I went into the bathroom there were stains which looked like feces smeared on the back of the door. By 3:15 that day I contacted CheapOair for a full refund. My next question was, “why in the hell would you book me in a place like this?”

    I was told that there was no refund. I asked to speak to a supervisor. I was told that, he would give me a call back. I immediately went to the office and complained of the conditions. I ask the woman at the desk if she wanted me to show her those things of my complaint. Her exact words were, “No I believe you.” She then asked me if I wanted another room or a refund. I returned the key card and asked for a refund. By 3:25 we were out of there. I never received a call back from the supervisor. The next day I contacted CheapOair and again conveyed the motel conditions. Yet I was told again I could not get a refund. At that time, I asked once more to speak to a supervisor, I was put on hold and he came upon the line. Again, I explained the motel conditions and was told I would get a refund.

    Two days later the money was return to my account minus one day of the motel fees. I contacted CheapOair and was told I had to contact the motel for the remaining amount. After hanging up the phone I contacted the motel and was told that CheapOair was still holding the fee and he will contact them in regards to releasing the fee. I decided to give CheapOair a week to return the remaining amount back into my account, which they never did. I call them after waiting a week, only to discover my number was blocked. It was then, I decided to give-up and write this review.

    The reason I did not name the motel is because they really showed concern regarding my complaints and did not show any deception nor give me any hassles, and fully agreed upon my full refund. In fact, each contact I had with them they were sympathetic. On the other hand, it was CheapOair who felt I did not deserve a full refund. And it was as though they were out to fight me every step of the way regarding a full refund.

    Our adult son who was 30 passed away unexpectedly on 2/25/2021, We were going to take our 3 adult children to a place in Arizona we took them many times as children, Grandkids were staying behind for the adults to relive a wonderful time. Since my son's passing no one wanted to leave on the trip, including myself. We made 3 phone calls in attempts to get a refund on our plane tickets. The first and 2nd call to this service we were told they would call us back and never did.

    Today was the 3rd call and while the teller was extremely helpful, nice and achieved the refund in minutes. She did ask beforehand why we didn't call when it happened!!!?… Excuse me? my son passed away. I promise you vacations are the last thing on your mind. we were trying to figure out how he passed... Why... and what we were to do with his burial... Not ok. It hasn't even been 2 mo yet. My suggestion to this company would be to teach your booking agents proper etiquette on speaking with the public.

    I find a good deal on their site. Later I had to change the date, but their customer support gave much higher rate than I was seeing on their website. I raised a ticket, and they followed up. They didn't charge anything more than the difference in airline ticket prices. It seems I came across a bad customer support personnel earlier.     When I booked tickets a few days back, I was told that there is zero change fees because of Covid. I have to make a change to itinerary and saw that there were tickets available for the difference of only $50. I tried to make a change via Cheapoair website and they do not give any option to change the flights ourselves like Expedia or others do. After waiting with the customer support they told me that they will charge $324. So they wanted to keep $274 themselves for no reason. I will never book with them again.

    My friend and I booked a cruise that was cancelled due to Covid. We had to cancel the flights. Couldn’t get a refund but they gave us a credit. Now we want to use that credit, and they want to charge us almost as much as we already paid!!! Seems like a scam to me!! They are gambling that we won’t pay those prices, so they just get to keep our money for providing no service at all. Terrible company!! Try to call, get someone that can’t speak English telling me there’s nothing they can do. I’ll never use these criminals again.

    DON'T CHOOSE CHEAPOAIR. I had made a reservation in December 2020 for my fiance, Due to sudden imposement of provincial travel restrictions, she was unable to travel. They have charged me with around 40$ as Cancellation fee and gave me credit. And when i try to use my credits to make reservation for April 2021, regardless of price which we see on their website, they just say re-booking fees and try to loot money from customers.

    They were asking me to pay 300+ $ mentioning about fair difference, re-booking, etc etc using all kinds of terminology whatever they can. They don't least bother/care about their customers, yet they mention they're here to provide best deals and best customer service (PURELY TRASH). I was using Expedia before and i strongly feel that it was better when compared to CheapOair. I had similar flight cancellation situation early last year (2020), they never charged me cancellation fees or re-booking fees all they asked was fare difference (which is understandable). I really regret the decision, which I've made to choose CheapOair travel company.

    All the terminology which they use on their website are purely gimmick to attract and misguide customers. Never Ever, I am going to use CheapOair services and wouldn't recommend to any of my friends and family members. I'll make sure my friends and family doesn't use their services. Pandemic gave a hard hit on businesses, besides it's equally hit on the general public as well. CheapOair just want to loot people, just so they can survive. I've ended up paying 800+$ in total for a flight ticket from Toronto to Calgary. Anyone reading this review should understand, how insane the service and how disappointed a fellow patron is here. I Don't even want to give the 1 Star, but it's not allowing me to give less than that. Thanks for taking time for going through this review. Make your friends and family aware about CheapOAir and their services.

    I had the worse travel experience in my life because of the negligence of your employees. On my way to CAIRO THE RJ REFUSED TO let me, board, because you didn't do confirmation and I had to reschedule my flight, on my way back to Chicago from Cairo the RJ counter told me that they canceled my trip due to the transit was more than 10 hour and they notify the CheapOair about that. CheapOair instead of notifying me about the cancellation they kept sending me confirmation about the trip. I sent an email from Cairo airport to fix the situation. No answer.     My Itinerary changed without my consent with a note that even if I don't accept the changes there is no guarantee of a refund! I called customer service to fix this issue, however, I was told that keeping the same flight dates as the original itinerary, I would have to pay $70 for each passenger, and if I cancel my trip, I will not get a refund even though the change to the itinerary was made by the airline and CheapOair not me!!     My family of 3 for the very first time were planning a trip to England. Then Covid happened. When we first did our purchase (through a different company) we received our refund in FULL. This was for 2020. Then later in 2020 we tried again, only this time we went through CheapoAir, BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER!!!! We planned our trip for May of 2021. Well the country we were planning to visit was locked down until 06/17/2021. Cheapoair had no choice but to offer vouchers, which is no problem. The problem comes when I pay $1910.01 and only get $1004.85. So, Cheapoair keeps $905.16 for a service that I don't get to benefit from. Can someone explain how this is legal??? Please stay away from these thieves because the money it took me a little over a year to safe, they get to keep. I wish I could speak to someone that can do something about this.

    I am so upset. Last year we had booked a flight to Alaska before Pandemic. We even paid for insurance. Come time to go Alaska shut down so we contacted CheapOair to see if we could get a credit as this was not our fault. They did but out of $860 we only got $616 back. They charged us over $250 because we had to cancel because the state was closed!!! Unethical in an unpredictable time.     FOR CLOSE TO ONE YEAR, I am trying to get my refund from CheapOair, and month after month, all refund-related communications are inevitably going in circles. Without getting into too much detail of this painfully long story (though all the details are available on Booking No: **), I just want to say that in November, 2020, a CheapOair representative reassured me that finally the refund would be processed within 2 billing cycles with no further action required on my part.

    When two months later I did follow up, the “verification” started all over again. The Billing Dept suddenly needed to talk to their internal departments, then to Customer Support, then to Supervisor’s Department, then to the airlines, then to Support Team, then to Customer Care, then to “escalate” it to other lateral departments.. (does CheapOair really have that many customer-focused departments in their organizational chart?)

    For almost a year, I was under the erroneous impression that the refund process was underway, until I suddenly realized that as soon as there is nothing left to verify, call, talk, email, or follow-up about, the case would be “escalated” to another lateral department, disregarding all previous communications, starting a new round of vigorous running in circles and sending tons of useless generic automated responses.

    Every email would be coming from a different person, as no one is assigned to the case, and CheapOair would present it as a newly received request, totally ignoring all previous back-and-forth communication. Therefore, CheapOair multiple departments are just firing off emails without reading the case. This causes an enormous amount of stress to anyone who tries to communicate with CheapOair. It’s like talking to a brick wall.

    I contacted the airline directly regarding my KLM Refundable Voucher (No: **), and KLM issued a Note on the Billing for CheapOair to process my refund. Many companies in the same field, being equally affected by the pandemic, manage to operate ethically and without taking advantage of the clients. Instead of processing the refund, CheapOair did send me 10 (ten) generic emails, with no relevance to my case whatsoever, just repeating “Kindly allow us some time”. I am still waiting for my refund.

    To any reasonable person CheapOair’s handling the refunds would look like manipulative and deceptive actions, which should be fully investigated in the context of CheapOair operations, as all of this is highly unethical. CheapOair would process refunds as fast as it takes online payments, if it were required to pay credit card interest to clients -as we, clients, do - on the funds CheapOair is holding onto. Adding financial and emotional distress damages and credit card interest charges to the amount of the refund may help CheapOair stop its manipulative practices, become a better organization, and operate more ethically.

    I booked a flight with Cheapoair for myself and my mother and 2 days later learnt that my flight was cancelled. Since my mother can't travel alone I asked for a full refund of both mine and my mother's ticket but Cheapoair, after much reluctance, only refunded my flight amount not my mother's. I have been on this endless battle with Cheapoair to get the full refund for my mother's flight because the issue was caused by Cheapoair in the first place. When Cheapoair booked my flight, the representative failed to tell me that paying with 2 different credit cards would result in 2 different booking numbers for myself and my mother. If I had known I wouldn't have paid using 2 different credit cards. Due to that, 2 different booking numbers were issued and thus my mother's flight can't be cancelled. She is an old woman and can't travel on her own and upon numerous requests now Cheapoair is delaying my refund request.

    I pointed out to Cheapoair that the fault was not mine as the first representative gave me 2 different booking numbers when he shouldn't have done so. After a month of heated communication Cheapoair filed a refund request but told me to wait 2 more months for the refund. I decided I had enough and filed an official BBB complaint. Moreover, after I filed a BBB complaint, more than 5 so called supervisors have reached out to me, each time reassuring me they are looking into the matter and admitted that it was Cheapoair's mistake from the beginning but they never call me a second time with an update or never get back to me if they promise to call back. Every time, I get a new "supervisor" who calls me and tells me they have been assigned to my case. Apparently there are more than 5 supervisors working on my case but none of their contacts provided to me are valid and none have a resolution for me.

    I still have not received my mother's ticket refund as of 02/17/2021 today, and am still battling legally against Cheapoair. PLEASE BE AWARE! Cheapoair is scamming people during these hard times of the pandemic and booking flights knowing they will get cancelled by the airlines and then delaying refunds purposely.

I went ahead and cancelled flight less than 12 hours after flight was booked and was charged a cancellation fee. This is deceptive business practice.     I booked 3 air tickets for me & my family in March 27th of 2020 for travel dates in December of 2020 for $4148.97. Airline cancelled flights due to COVID and I was sent an email by cheapoair saying "To choose alternate flight options, please call and re-schedule the travel dates." When I spoke to their agent and told them I did not know when I would travel next, I was told I would get an account credit that could be used for a future booking, when asked for refund I was told my tickets were non-refundable. My account credit turned out to be $3617.71, which is less by $530.29 than the amount I originally paid. Agent said those were non-refundable taxes and agency fees on the original transaction. My original billing details showed that amount to be $394.71 however CheapOAir deducted $530.29.

    Airlines cancels the flight and the traveler has to bear the taxes & fees when they did not receive any service! I re-scheduled my flight by calling them in Feb '21 for travel dates end of May'21. The 3 tickets cost about $2904.00, including taxes and fees, when I had a credit of $3617.71. In spite of my account credit to be in excess, they asked me to pay re-issue charges of $150.00 without which they refused to issue my tickets!

    The different agents I spoke to, located in Pune, Maharashtra, India, were trying to extract more money from me! One by the name of 'milan' said I would have to pay for checkin bags, when they are free, when confronted on that he put me on hold and then disconnected. 2nd agent by the name of 'jewell', in the course of our conversation lied about me doing several cancellations and when confronted put me on hold and then disconnected. 3rd agent, by the name of 'Christy' asked me to pay re-issue charges, I requested to speak to his supervisor and he said I could not because they were working from home and the supervisor was unavailable at the time when I could hear his colleagues talking to others on the phone in the background!

    All their agents will come up with lies on-the-fly & lie through their teeth! From paying a total of $4298.97 for tickets that actually cost $2900.00, I have lost almost $1400 in this ordeal. This $1400 has ended up in CheapOAir's pockets. Clearly, CheapOAir and their fraudulent agents are taking advantage of the global pandemic situation and resorting to profiteering by preying on helpless and hapless travelers! In the fake billing details there is no clarity at all on the sub-headings explaining the total amount charged to me where they have slyly concealed all the actual numbers and is full of lies! CheapOAir & their agents don't seem to have any moral or ethical code of conduct especially when the world is facing a global pandemic crisis! Any information on all the authorities i could report to about this profiteering & fake billing is appreciated?

    I booked a flight to Japan using CheapOair, on Air Canada to Japan. Air Canada canceled the flight under Covid reasons. Here what CheapOair offered Me: The ticket price with their fees were $622.29. They offered for me to pay the them another $25.00. Said Air Canada ,would refund me as a credit for a future flight $513.17.Otherwise, I will lose$134.12 for Air Canada canceling my flight over Covid reasons.

    I requested for a refund of a ticket that I bought in January, 2020 and I never received it. I had a second ticket that was scheduled for June, 2020 during the height of the pandemic. I received an email advisory to contact the airline for cancelation of flight and so I did. But I could not contact the airline to and so I tried to contact CheapOair for assistance. Phone calls were failing. Email was failing. A notice that the recipient was not accepting messages was appearing but I have been receiving advertising offers via email.

    I booked a flight for myself and 2 family members to travel from the U.S. to Canada in February 2020 via WestJet airlines through Cheapoair. Not long after, Canada closed its borders to the U.S. due to COVID 19. I requested a refund for all 3 flights due to special circumstances (continued border closure preventing us from rebooking at a later date) and it is now January 2021 with no resolution. DO NOT USE CHEAPOAIR to book flights, they are a scam. I will now be filing a dispute for services not rendered against Cheapoair with my bank.

    Do NOT trust them. They just lost a customer. I will no longer recommend this to friends or family. Their so called "expert" agents treated me horribly and weren't understanding of my needs. They messed up my ticket three times. I had purchased a flight to go from US to Mexico. Got an email with a confirmation for a flight from Mexico to US. The mistake was on their part. I had to call numerous times. They took forever (an average of 3 months and calling almost everyday) to resolve the issue. They didn't understand the fact that I never needed a ticket with a destination to the US because I was in the US. Crappy service. Not trustworthy.

    Despite the obvious challenges that many companies have had to endure during the current Covid 19 pandemic, CHEAPOAIR has been EXTREMELY disappointing and frustrating to deal with! After 4 months, I am still waiting to get a legally entitled refund from them. I have called them countless times and I receive conflicting responses and unhelpful, generic answers to my inquiries about the status of my refund. I feel that this will continue indefinitely.     My wife thought she was booking directly with Spirt Airlines but Cheapo tricked her into thinking she was booking directly. The flight was cancelled. Spirit Airlines refunded their part but Cheapo kept $109.80 in "fees" even though the flight was cancelled. Cheapo never even notified us that the flight was cancelled. Luckily, we found out on our own before we went to the trouble of packing and going to the airport. I will never, ever use Cheapo again and will tell everyone who wants to know what a scam it is.

    I had planned a trip to visit my sick mother in law. Unfortunately, she died and I needed to rebook for earlier. I called CheapOAir, they booked me an earlier ticket, charged me the $50 difference for the ticket (credit card proof) and sent me a new itinerary by email confirming the new ticket and cancelling the old. I arrived at the airport the next morning, a 2 hour drive from a friend, and was stranded. No ticket!

    I called CheapOAir and with an hour and a half on the phone, they did not get me a ticket. They said, they would refund the $50 and I could fly three days later on my original ticket. That was not an option with a funeral and now I was stranded. I was forced to buy another ticket and CheapOAir refused to take any responsibility. I have an itinerary and credit card proof they charged me for something they never provided.... And yet I am out the extra $400. To take someone's money and not come through with the service is fraud. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, THEY HAVE NO INTEGRITY OR CHARACTER!

    I'm writing this here because conveniently my review will not post on their review page. For a company that books our flights, They sure don't know what flights their customers paid to have booked. I paid an extra $50 to have my check in / boarding pass automatically emailed to me. The problem is they sent me boarding passes for the wrong flights, which were originally canceled and I spent hours on the phone previously with Cheapo air getting corrected. Instead of getting what I paid for, I had to spend time in long lines to check in and get boarding passes.

    We booked our Flight tickets last December via CheapOair for June month travel. Because of Pandemic situation, other flights returned the amount without any hassle. But this cheap-o-air took enough amount and when release the rest of the amount, they made enough nonsense steps and acted like they can't handle this kind of situation to release the amount. So far around 10 times we wasted our 10 hours of time and got really frustrated and leaving this review here. All the time they will ask your concern in detail and used to say the supervisor will get back to you in 24 to 48 hrs and never it happened, Every time we hit our head with this people to pay our money us, but no use. Highly recommend do not approach this people for booking. It's a big cheating company.

    I booked a round ticket to Amsterdam through CheapOair.com. My trip was supposed to be at the end of May, 2020. Because of the global Coronavirus pandemic, I canceled the flight, which the airline eventually canceled for the very reason. I checked the airline's (Scandinavian Airlines) cancellation policy, and saw that I was eligible for a full refund, so I requested CheapOair.com for the full refund. After few arguing, they eventually sent me a confirmation email on 7/18/2020, saying "Upon reviewing your reservation I see that one of our supervisors had spoken to the airlines on 05/31/2020 and the airlines confirmed that you qualify for refund of $689.35 and $120 for the baggage which should reflect on your card within 30-60 days once processed."

    It is 11/20/2020 now and I have yet to receive a penny back from this SCAM company. Instead, they have been calling me once a week and leaving me messages. Sometimes they say it'll take 2 more weeks, and sometimes they say it'll take up to 5 months for the refund to be processed. BUT, TODAY I received a message saying my ticket is cancelation is not related to the Covid situation, and that I will not be getting a refund. They also said something about a change fee of $300 if I want to book a different flight. All along, they had no intention of refunding any money. There are few others who are considering a joined lawsuits (I saw it on pissedcomsuper.com), so I'm going to look into that and I plan on joining them as there are so many of the same reviews with the same issue with this company. I have all the email and voicemails saved, so I'm ready.

    My experience is horrible. They are fast on taking your money but the after sales sucks. Don't let it happen to you. I supposed to fly out last nov 12 but unfortunately something happened. I called the customer service right away to have my flight rebooked. What the guy did, he suggested to cancel my current flight. That way I don't get charged for cancellation fee or for a no show penalty, but he wasn't able to give me a new date since he was having a problem getting a new date for me, so he suggested to call them back and since that day my son and I keep calling/chatting them every day until I was able to get a flight schedule dated 19th after 3 days (paid $315) and he told us that he will send the confirmed itinerary within the day but until now.. 18th..Nothing.

    That's why I keep on checking my airline apps for the itinerary since I got 3 airlines for this flight which originally 2. I'm seeing my itinerary in the 2 apps but not in the Air Canada app. I decided to reach out the airline and they told me, there is no ticket reservation under my name. Good thing, I reached out or else, I will be surprised when I get to the airport and won't get a boarding pass. Yesterday I reached out to CheapOair and told them my issue, but keep on telling me the same thing, "It will be send the next few hours", even though you tell them you are getting same response every day. It seems it is part of their training. Now I just chatted with another agent. He even told me "Don't worry you will get it within the day."

    Sounds good right? But I'm sure I'm waiting for nothing. Hopefully I'm wrong. The sad thing part I already had my COVID test which only good for 72 hours. I hope these airlines don't need it for me to board. Whoever reading this and planning to buy in cheapoair, think twice. Make sure you check with the travel agency and their feedbacks or buy directly with the airline. At least you are dealing directly to their customer service in case you will have an issue. I fly out yearly and I get my ticket here in cheapoair and I fly with Eva Air. Everything was smooth until I get a multiple airlines. Now it's a pain dealing with them. They can't fix the problem even though it is a simple ticket issue. Seems like they don't have plan b for customers like me. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS. Don't let this happen to you.

    I Have recorded calls with promised refund but they send me emails with numbers not in service which I have proof of waiting hours then given an automatic message saying the number is not in use! This is the worst company and committing fraud by trying to get out if giving the refund they promised me and are legally required to give since the flights from March to may 2020 were suspended. Philippine Airlines have already given the refund and CheapOair is holding it in their treasury!

    I was having difficulties with my booking for my family. I was disconnected by a previous Cheapoair representative but Tanya just completely turned my whole experience around in making sure I was properly attended to and also went the extra mile to contact the direct airline to change my seats.     Updated on 11/23/2020: Hello, I have written to CheapOair many times to refund my flight canceled due to coronavirus (16-31 May 2020, From Istanbul to NYC). They've suspended my ticket, but I want my ticket refunded. They're calling me from America but I live in Turkey and our day time and my phone line are not in accordance with NYC's hours. I don't need to hear their voices, I need my money back. Today, I was shocked when I just checked the latest status of the ticket on the cheapoair web site. My ticket seems to have been used. But I didn't. I am sending you the attached screenshot. Please help me to solve this issue. There is one more thing, my sister bought similar tickets from a Turkish agency. We would go and back together. She preferred Turkish agency but I didn't. The agency paid her ticket money back several months ago. What should I do? Please help me.

    Original review: In such a period when the whole world was fighting covid-19, CheapOair made me a victim. I had a return ticket from Istanbul to New York for May 16 and 31 May, 2020 and they released this ticket. They set an expiration period of 2 years. But I will not go because of pandemic in 2 years. I want a refund for this ticket due to force majeure. But they don't pay me. My sister bought the same ticket from another agency. They paid her money. But I chose CheapOair and I regret it very much. I urgently ask me to be paid for my money.

    Purchased a ticket from CheapOAir but when I got to the airport, there was no ticket under my name. Unfortunately I had to purchase a a new one on the spot... When I verified my confirmation email from cheapoair, I saw that it was for the right day, wrong city and wrong time. Despite having the confirmation email with the wrong information, CheapOAir refuses to admit that they made a mistake. Never thought that a company would ever be able to act like this with such an obvious proof. I'm now looking into legal action to sue them. STAY AWAY FROM CHEAPOAIR.

    I requested a refund on my airline tickets (because of covid) on 8 June 2020. The agent confirmed the request has been sent. In August after numerous chats, emails and calls, my refund was "send to the airline". Then I received my infants ticket refund but not my husbands or mine. The airline cannot give me a refund receipt because I booked through CheapOair. After 8 live chats, 6 emails, and 3 hours customer support phone calls, they still do not give me a refund receipt that I have a document to go to the bank and check where is the rest of the money. They give me this automated one liners without any assistance. I will never use them again. Worst agency I ever used.

    This company is zero on the name of customer service. Left hand doesn't know what right hand is doing. Whenever you call you have to explain whole story again and again. They denied refund even if airline cancel the flight. When I spoke to airline they said I can reschedule my trip in year time. Cheapoair cancel ticket on their own without I have requested and deducted 300 $ for cancelation and processing and may be I don't know what else. I have called them at least 7 to 8 times and they will be like, "Oh you will hear from us in 24 to 48 hours." That was 2 weeks ago. Booking ref: **

    We purchased one way tickets to the Middle East for our family of 4. We purchased the insurance to cover the costs in case of emergencies. Sadly, I ended up scheduled for emergency surgery. I called to cancel. The total amount originally paid was $3340.81, which included some additional fees. After attempting to cancel the flights with them, they came back that additional fees were not covered.

    The final negotiation ended up with only a refund of $2793. They charged me a cancellation fee of $210 to cancel when I already had the insurance to cover a cancellation. And then they made me take a credit of $352 to be used on future flights. Do you think I'll ever use their services, again, and use that credit? I think not. My intent is to protest with American Express, but I don't expect to win. Also, they took me it may take X1-2 months to receive the refund. What company takes that long to refund, and according to other reviews here, it appears that this is a sticky point with many customers of this crooked site.

    The way CheapOair is doing business is ABSOLUTELY CHEATING with GARBAGE customer support. Their customer support specialists all set up in INDIA. Their call quality is very poor. I hardly hear them. They don't have any American value in their mind. I booked two tickets cost around $2500 with CheapOAir on February 2020. Pandemic came. Then all airlines began to cancel. Then CheapOAir started playing games. I called around 15 times to their customer service. Every option they put in their system to loot your money, kill your valuable time. I asked for a refund, they said it will cost $600. They wanted to hijack my money for canceling, refunding, rebooking at any way by giving me high amount of cost. I ended up getting air credit by paying them extra money.

    Again I tried rebooking for October 2020. Their looting game was started again. They said the rebooking cost will be air credit (2500) + $945. Same ticket I saw on their website that cost around $2000 altogether. But they wanted to loot my extra $1000+. After bargaining so many ways, they came up with air credit (2500) + $200 (CheapOAir rebooking cost). After doing all they didn't give me the right ticket number, hence I was not able to arrange my and my wife's seats together.

    They told me to call Turkish Airlines to reserve the seat but they should fix it. Turkish Airline said my ticket was not confirmed by CheapOAir. But CheapOAir already sends me a confirmation number. Again called CheapOAir. They said they need 24 hours to recorrect ticket number. I am not sure I am able to travel or not. I regret that I reserve through CheapOAir. I don't know how this company running their business in USA. We should report to FBI to investigate their business. I have been to Expedia a long time. Never get bad experience like this. I will reserve via anything else in the future.

    Bought a ticket through Cheapoair and quickly discovered that it is much cheaper to buy directly from the actual airline. No returns, no customer service to speak of at EXPENSIVE "cheapo"air. Usually when you buy online it is better deal, but not in this case. Guys, go and buy direct. Don't feed these useless leeches.

So asked for credit as Qatar Airways stated on their website they are giving 2 years of extended credit for rebooking.     Booked a flight for summer 2020. I called CheapOair to cancel due to COVID. Agent thought all flights were cancelled and therefore did not cancel my flight. Received an email from CheapOAir stating I had $230 to use on a future booking. Airline thought I was a no show and refused to provide a refund. I called CheapoAir customer service 9+ times and was on hold for over 6hrs to take care of the situation. They admitted the agent was wrong for not cancelling, but refused to allow me to use the money I was owed for another booking. Every person I talked to had a thick accent that was very hard to understand.

    Often times I would be on hold for over an hour, the agent would finally come on and we would get immediately get disconnected. One agent told me CheapOAir was at fault and they would most likely need to pay me the money since the Airline would not. He had the gull to ask if I would be willing to pay half since he would be the one paying. ABSOLUTELY NOT! I already paid for the flight, I just want to use that money to book another flight. I’m not paying half that money YOU made a mistake on.

    I was told someone would call back. They never did. I was told to wait 24 hrs more and someone would call me back. They never did. One time I called and I had to start the whole process over again with the agent calling the Airline to have them say I was a no show. After 6+ hrs of being on hold, a supervisor FINALLY took care of it and I got my booking rescheduled and with no money lost. It is not worth the time, energy and frustration to use CheapOAir. Pay the $30 more from another site than use this company!!! The money saved is not worth the amount of stress and anxiety they put you through if there are any changes.
