My experience here was mediocre. I felt subjected to ** privilege by the cashier being that I was here first but attended to last when a ** person arrived after me. The cashier neglected to ask about my previous service account and took it on his own will to make a different service account without my permission and then was irate when I suggested using my previous account. Overall I reccomend for the product but suggest better CSR training.

They were amazing, had a headlight out. Fixed it right away with no charge, was out of there in less than a hour, highly recommend this place. Will let all my friends and family know to go there.

I went to Mavis and had tires put on my car. They were the cheapest place and they gave me a discount on my tires. Customer service was great. They kept my appointment. It did not take long at all. This was my first time going there. I will tell others and I will return.

The salesman/technicians were extraordinarily professional in both their review and analysis of my issues. I was in and out of that shop in literally no more than 20 minutes. As I arrived at the shop a couple minutes earlier than the opening the head technician saw me and waved me in and opened up the shop just to accommodate me. That is true customer service.

Today, for the first time, I visited Mavis Brakes & Tires on Waldos Beach Road. The experience was HORRIBLE! My vehicle needed an alignment and tires and I figured I could get it all done in one place. The supervisor was the person that attended me and was VERY unprofessional to say the least. When I went to check out--almost $700 later--I asked him if they offered military discounts. He said yes but that it was more beneficial to use…

The staff was super professional and very fast. I been to other tire shop and there was no comparison to the service I received. This was one of the best experiences I had in a long time. I was impressed with the managers and the employees with the amount of knowledge they had on all the questions I asked them. The manager was very polite and down to earth and showed a level of professionalism that was well appreciated. I've been coming to Mavis in Ocala FL for more than 20 years and my experience has always been Great. On my visit today, I was taken care by George, who is courteous, knowledgeable and very caring. I haven't met the Technicians personally but having the jobs done so well, means that they too are great. The prices are fair and the quality of tires is excellent. I highly recommend MAVIS. Don't bother going any other place.

I've been to Mavis twice in the last three months. First time to have 2 used tires purchased elsewhere to be exchanged with two bad tires on my Ioniq 5. They did so, without an appointment in about 40 minutes and I was out. The second time I had a slow leak in one of my wife's tire and again, with no appointment, they found a nail in it, repaired it and I was out in 30 minutes. I meet the owner Steve and he was gracious, helpful and professional and his crew was timely and efficient. Few tire places offer this incredible service at reasonable prices. Don't hesitate to go the Mavis for fast, quality and professional service at fair prices.

I had a rear light issue. I made an appointment with the Wildwood location, assistant manager, Scott helped me. He was very helpful, got the problem resolved. Made me feel comfortable. I purchased set of 4 new Continental tires at your store in Langhorne PA and was scheduled for installation on January 22. I arrived at the store at the prescribed time and was greeted immediately by the store manager. My car was immediately brought into the shop and work commenced on installing the tires. I decided to wait for the work to be completed and at one point I was asked to come into the shop to examine the rear brake pads and calipers. It was evident that they were at minimal levels and needed to be replaced. The cost to replace was given to me and I asked to have it repeated as it was much lower than what I had paid for the front pads and calipers at a different shop at an earlier time. I was also offered the road hazard coverage that I declined but did not feel pressured to take it. This location has now garnered all my future business for my vehicles as I mentioned to the manager.

Dropped my car off the night before for just inspection. Call the next day around 12 to see when car might be done. Was informed they haven’t started yet. Ok. Waited till 4:00 to see if done. Still haven’t started. Could not wait for had to leave for work by 5. I have had work done before no problem. Needless to say NOT one word was said when I had to pick up the car without the work being done. No explanation. Nothing!!!! This was in Brodheadsville Pa.

My truck broke down on vacation. These got me in right away. Bent over backwards to get me back on the road, fare price, quality work... 100 percent would they recommend. The rear was serviced at home shop, got down here, the rear diff is bone dry. I needed a whole new axle. Great guys.

I spent $1,100 on 4 new tires at the Tire Kingdom Store 3722 S. Semoran Blvd., Orlando, FL (a Mavis Tire company) and they damaged one of my rims. The manager told me he needed to escalate the issue to a Regional Manager and that he/she would be in touch with me to resolve the issue. It has been over a week, and the Regional Manager has not called, even though I followed up with the local store.

Well, my experience with Mavis Tire in Smithfield Rhode Island was the worst experience I ever had going to a tire stores in the 40 plus years of owning a vehicle. My appointment was for 12:30 on Friday to have four snow tires put on my truck. Keep in mind that I already had them in the back of my truck so it wasn't like I had to wait for them to get them from their Wearhouse. When I made the appointment I asked how long the job should take and I was told about an hour and half or two which I was ok with because I had another appointment later on in the day at 4:00. Well three hours later and my truck still isn't done.
When I finally cashed out at 4:30 and missed my appointment I was past my boiling. I didn't think to look at the slip till I got home. I noticed that the clown who cashed me out gave me an invoice for a different vehicle. I'm sorry the invoice was to have four tires replaced on a trailer and the vehicle info was on a 2019 Chevy Silverado when my truck is a 2021 GMC Canyon. And there more. My truck has the t-p-m-s tire pressure monitoring system. The front left tire was at 39. The front right was 39. Rear left was 40. And the back right was 38. Well the sticker on the driver's side door jamb clearly shows 35 psi max. I think Nasa has some trained monkeys that could do a better job. There's one more thing I'd like to add. Since I had the experience sitting in those god-awful seats for four and a half hours listening to the two guys running the counter.
Mavis tire should think about sending them to a class on communication skills. Not so much. The older man but the one who has only been there for three days needs a lot of work. good luck with him mavis tire. And the last thing I want to say is that I've been going there for quite a while and I referred a few people there as well. My wife and my dad as well as a friend. So mavis tire in Smithfield Rhode Island you didn't lose just one customer you lost four all together. Miss you rick and Siri. That's when customer meant something...David **

HORRIBLE!!!! I made an appointment online for the Royersford location for an alignment. The appointment was for 12 pm. I got there at 12:01. I called prior to my appointment to see how long it would take and was told 45 minutes. When I got there, the man at the counter told me it would be an hour and a half - two hours. So I pay for an Uber to go home instead of staying there and waiting. I waited until 3 pm, figuring that would surely have been enough time. They told me it hasn't even been looked yet, but by 4 it would be ready because they were pulling it in now. I paid for another Uber. I show up and it was still not in. I had to wait until 4:45. I paid and got going down the road. The wheel was more crooked than before I brought it in. So I immediately came back. The guy told me as soon as they had a free bay.
Well, I watched 3 more cars go out and come in the bays. None were mine. 3 guys were just standing around talking and one was eating. Not to mention my online coupon was for $35 off and the guy was only gonna give me $30 off. All of a sudden, for the wait time, it was the extra $5 off that should have been off to begin with. Finally, my car was ready by 6 pm. Funny, that's when they close. Photo one of the alignment was when I brought it in, photo two of the alignment is when I went to leave the first time and photo number three is finally the way that my car was fixed after I brought it back. Ultimately, I had a whole new alignment done. So, all except for the gentleman that finally fixed my car, I think the rest of the people that work there are a bunch of worthless slugs.

Mavis on Delaware Road in Buffalo overfilled my car with oil, leading to major engine damage. When I returned for help, I was turned away and advised my car was safe to drive. I had to go through another mechanic shop for diagnostic and confirmation. That shop confirmed they overfilled it by 3 quarts and likely caused engine damage. They advised the care was extremely unsafe to operate.
The Regional Manager, Corey, had the car evaluated by another Mavis shop and, again, said it was safe to drive. At that point, I knew I could not trust him or any Mavis shop. It was towed to a Ford dealer, who confirmed major engine damage, which could leave to engine failure. They advised the car was too dangerous to operate. The Mavis corporate office advised that they agreed this was being mishandled by their Regional Manager, but they claim to be “powerless” to how these issues are handled, and resolution is at the discretion of the Regional Manager.
Mistakes do happen, but how you handle them says everything about a company - and honestly, this Regional Manager as a person. Corey and Mavis do not value the safety of their customers and put my life in danger to save a buck. I am now without a car or means to pay this massive repair bill. I am pursuing other avenues to resolve this, but feel compelled to warn others to beware of this company. Do not risk your life!

We have video footage confirming the proper level of oil was put into the vehicle, which we did offer for you to come an watch. We are still happy to allow you to do so at your convenience. In addition, we confirmed with the dealership your vehicle was taken to that our oil change was completely unrelated to your current issue. Michael, the service manager from the dealership, advised they used a borescope to confirm there is damage to your flex plate as well as your transmission gasket being bad; neither of which could have been caused by our oil change. We again truly apologize for any confusion or frustration but we are unable to accept liability due to the dealerships diagnostic.

Have had 2 bad experiences with Mavis, one in Middletown Pa and one in Colonial Park Harrisburg Pa. First was new tires for 2010 Chevy Silverado, It took almost 5 hours, they lost my keys, then had the truck finished and forgot to let me know, I kept asking about it and they kept telling me it would be finished soon. I even had made an appt for a particular time slot. Took the truck home and was washing it, and a wheel weight fell off, had to take it back to get it balanced again. Experience #2, took my Chevy 2500 work van in for tires, called them that morning and was told if I can get the van there right away they would take care of it promptly, they had openings. Got there 20 minutes later, walk in and am told that they just left me a message stating that they were only able to get me in later in the day!
He also asked if my van was a stocked work van and which I stated it was. He then proceeded to tell me that they cannot put it up on their lifts. Really? Only have to lift it high enough to get the tires off the ground!! Also told me the ladder rack was a problem! I told him I will drive down the street to one of the other tire stores who would probably be happy to help me out and have the van finished in an hour. I told him I was finished with Mavis, went 3 minutes down the road and was in and out in an hour with no problems whatsoever!! Do yourself a favor and stay away from Mavis!!! They are an absolute train wreck…. B. **

I have been a customer for the last few years to get my annual state inspection on all my family vehicles and tire repairs, replacement, and turn in. All the personnel I’ve dealt with from front desk to mechanic have always been professional and courteous even when undermanned and stressed. Their pricing is reasonable and have appreciated their honesty with any issues identified, such tire patch vs buy a new tire saving me money in the end. Great customer service every time.

This company is synonymous with consumer fraud. My 29-year-old daughter arrived with her Dodge challenger and was told she needs inner and outer tie rods, yet they talked her into a front end alignment. They test of the car and it feels worse than ever. My daughter had to have her car towed home. The flunky manager at Mavis, us highway 27 in haines city, florida, hung up on me three times. These are disturbing people to say the least. I filed with the attorney general's office in tallahassee in my attorney obtained a date in court in bartow district court. They're hoping you don't do anything because it's a numbers game sue them into the stone age.

Zero stars option should be available for this place. Predators. Took advantage of a woman unfamiliar with automotive services. Also, English was not her first language. She went for an oil change, but was sold items and services unnecessary and way over competitor’s prices. $40 “Brake Cleaning”. Are you kidding me? The wipers, cabin and engine air filters were new, not needing replacement. The overpriced replacement tires (not needed) are noisy and need rebalancing. I could say more, but just do not go there. How do they sleep at night?

Very easy to schedule an appointment online. Unfortunately, the tires that I saw an inventory and I wanted, were not available. However, the service manager was very clear in presenting my options and offered additional maintenance. This was appreciated. I was able to squeeze in an alignment and oil change in addition to the 4 new tires for my Audi Q5. Turnaround was fast. I could have stayed but by the time I got home, it was ready for pick up.

I went in for an oil change. The service was friendly and extremely quick. My appointment was at 2pm and I was out the door by 2:38pm. I was surprised by the cost but would willingly pay it again for how quickly the service was and how nice they were.

I highly recommend the East Piedmont Mavis! Hunter did a great job of communicating the problem, solutions and pricing. The customer service is top notch - they were able to install new tires, brake pads and rotors, and change the oil - all in less than 3 hours!

Hi, I’m currently here at Mavis Tires on Battleground and I am not happy with the experience. I had to get up and down and walk to the back and look at my car because they’re trying to get out of work. I have a warranty for everything. I bought brand new tires from Mavis with a warranty for everything. I’m well within in my warranty. I wanted my tires rotated, they gave me an excuse to try to get out that. My car is shaking. I asked them to check the alignment and air pressure and etc, all which has warranties on them. They tried to give me an excuse saying it’s almost on the alignment line so it really doesn’t need it. So I asked them to put it on the line. Perhaps that will fix the problem. They said they don’t want to cost me any more money. I said I have a warranty. Then they said we’re just going to align it and not say anything and I said no put it all in the system.
At this point I’m disgusted. Now they just told me that my rear tire is maxed out, but I should be fine.. Then they said that the alignment wasn’t done right the first time which caused my tires to lose tread quicker which will cost me more money. I bought everything from Mavis Tires, the one on Cone blvd. Look Mavis tires need to get it together. They bought out NTB.. but NTB had coffee and snacks while you wait. And they did a good job. I’m definitely not happy with this experience today! Anyway, have a nice day.

Ok, so it’s two days before Christmas and I’m out shopping with 3 grandchildren…when what should appear, but a very flat tire on my Rav4 reindeer! I sprang into action and wondered who’d save us, when just over there we spotted a Mavis. ’Twas Tyler who came to our rescue today - his speed and his kindness were there on display. I'm writing to leave a quick review for my visit today, December 18th, for a flat repair on my Chevrolet Equinox. This was my first experience with Mavis Tire and Brakes in Wildwood, Florida, and I was extremely impressed. The service was excellent, and my flat was fixed quickly and efficiently. I was taken in a few minutes before my appointment time (I had arrived early). The service managers were excellent: courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. The mechanic working on my car not only fixed my flat, but explained the additional checks he performed.
I really appreciate the complimentary checks he did on my brakes and other systems, as well as the clear, professional recommendations regarding the dry rot on my rear tires and the recommendation for an alignment. Everything was explained well, and I felt no pressure after declining the additional work. Great service overall, and I will be back for new tires and an alignment – I just did not have time today.

Scratched wheels while putting on new tires, they did not tell me about it. I had to find it on my own and let them know what happened. This happened 4 weeks ago and still not resolved. I had to get estimates for them to pay for their mistake. They told me the estimate was too high and referred me to someone else. Why was this not done in the first place? Customer service and quality of work is clearly not a priority here. I will not be back and will not recommend their services to anyone. Zaid has not been responsive; I've had to follow up every Monday to see where were at with this. This should have been taken care of within days of the mistake. Between my time with this and more time to be expected with the repair, my savings for the tires is completely gone, wishing I would have gone elsewhere and avoided this headache. Left multiple reviews through Mavis website and no one has reached out.

I had a flat near the Wyomissing, Pa location and the team got my car in immediately and placed my temporary tire on my vehicle and rotated it to the rear passenger. This allowed me to return to the York, PA area and get repairs at my local location. Josh was exceptional. Securing 4 special order tires and having them shipped to the location. I received a Email confirmation and a follow up phone call that the tires would be delivered on time. The tire replacement was completed within the timeframe and the pricing was better than if I had gone directly thru Goodyear. I purchased the road hazard in large part due to the high level of service and attentiveness in the event of an unexpected issue. Kudos to both locations on taking great care of my situation and being available with expedited and timely service.

We made an appointment online for oil change and tire rotation the evening before the appointment. The morning of, I called the store to ask if a state inspection could be added and they were able to accommodate us. The truck needed two new tires and the staff went above and beyond to get the tires same day and also stayed late to do an alignment and complete the job. They have no respect over people's time. I had to reschedule my first appointment because they told me there was going to be a long wait before they even got me in, why make an appointment? And on my second appointment I ended up leaving after waiting an hour and a half and my car not even being in. And by the way the guy who rescheduled my appointment never put it in the computer. I took my vehicle to the Mavis located at 13110 US Hwy 301 Riverview Fl 33578 about 2 days ago. I told them that I think I may need struts on my front wheels, they called me and told me that I needed CV Axles instead 🤔 and tried to charge me $1000. I took it and got a second opinion, and it was indeed my struts. Which I already knew that, I really just wanted a price quote for struts. They saw a woman and thought they were gonna get over on me. But luckily I know a little about cars. It's SAD when businesses try to take ADVANTAGE of people. It should be against the law. 😡🤬🤬🤬 WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF I COULD!!!!

Great staff, great workers. The mechanic went through the job. Very thorough are very there is pleasant. Got it done in a timely manner like they said and they kept me updated on how the work was going and if I need anything else, and if I wanted it done. There is no pressure for any of this. On our way to our new home from CT to NC our vehicle had a brake fluid leak. Pulled into Southport location in a bit of a panic. Front desk gentleman was friendly and logged me into their system. They got the vehicle on the lift quickly and lead mechanic Anthony showed me where my CT mechanic installed the brake hose incorrectly. They made the repair and sent us on our way at no charge.

Do not use Mavis. I was quoted 3 times more than any other shop. They cannot be trusted. Was lied to. Told different things to get me in the door. Asked to e mail my quote. They said yes and then changed. The worker was great. I could tell. It's the orders that they get and they are just trying to do a job. It's all CORPORATE. I can provide receipts.

It was raining and I didn't realize how bad my tires were, I was on my way to the hospital and couldn't control my car. So I stopped two other places for tires and it would be a long wait without an appointment. I happened to see this shop and pulled in, they were extremely kind and quick to get me back on the road safely. I made it to the hospital in time to visit my mother and never been more grateful.

About Mavis Hanover Ave in Morrristown, NJ Horrible experience — avoid this place. This location is not professional, not efficient, and completely unreliable. I went in simply to have a nail removed from my tire. After waiting three hours, they told me they could not remove the nail and then tried to pressure me into buying a new tire — even after I explained that I couldn’t afford one, I left the place. The staff was dishonest, especially the manager (the older bald man). The way they handled the situation felt manipulative and untrustworthy. Do NOT go to this Mavis location.

Went for inspection last week. Our vehicle is registered in Guilford County. Former registration was provided to attendant prior. Inspection was entered as Forsyth county, (wrong county) Called to have this corrected only to be told we must correct their mistake by going to the DMV ourself. Waiting on regional manager's response. Corporate headquarters in White Plains, NY has been notified. Did not apologize and take responsibility for their mistake. We will not ever take any of our vehicles to any Mavis ever again!

Can I give them no stars? Terrible! Told me a ton of things needed to be fixed other than the tires. Took it to my mechanic, NONE of the items needed to be fixed. Plus they “balanced” the tires with so much metal I lost one of the hubcaps on the way home. Went back and demanded they change it. At first they said it had to be that way until I held my ground then suddenly they were able to balance them on the INSIDE. Thieves, do not recommend AT ALL.

On Saturday afternoon, November 15th 2025, I went to have two tires changed on my Toyota Sienna van. The vehicle was inspected and the two tires were replaced with the correct size and all four original metal hubcaps. When I got home, I noticed a strange noise when turning and realized that the tires they had installed were not the correct size and three of the four hubcaps were missing.
Today, Monday, November 17th, I drove to the store to file a complaint. They replaced both tires with the correct size (after a 40-minute wait), but then told me they couldn't find the three center caps. Before leaving, I checked and saw that the only center cap I had when I entered the store was missing. To my complete surprise, the response was that they couldn't find it (it had been removed 20 minutes earlier). So, not only did they do a poor job and wasted two hours of my time, but they also stole all four center caps without taking any responsibility. Needed 4 new tires while traveling. Stopped at Mavis in Baton Rouge on Lee & Essen parkway. Great tires and great service until… I pay over $1200 for tires and then …. They tell me I have over 70% wear on my brakes and the rear rotors are ruined AND one of my shocks are leaking. I called my personal mechanic at home in Ruston La and he said to drive it home and let him check it. Sure enough, my rotors are fine, I have Much more than 70% brakes remaining and nothing wrong with ANY of my shocks!! What I’m sure is no coincidence that they lied to me to get me to let them make unnecessary repairs, is that I had just overheard the store manager telling the employees they were way behind in sales and needed to increase sales this month by thousands of dollars!! I feel sorry for uninformed customers of Mavis that get scammed like this. I’m reporting this to BBB and Google reviews too.

My local Tire Kingdom/Mavis Discount Tire (13760 W State Rd 84, Davie, FL 33325) is the BEST! I have been taking our family cars (5 of them) there for years. Oil change, tires, brakes, auto repairs...they do it all. ** (Manager) is TOP NOTCH...runs an amazing store! I trust them and know that our family is safe as we drive because of the professionalism of this team! I would not go anywhere else for car service! Arrived on time for our 10am appointment (simple 4 tire change), it's now 11:15 and our car is still sitting in the lot. Another customer has been here since her 9am appointment (her car wasn't done until 11:25). With 4 customers waiting in the lobby, there are only 2 cars on lifts. We see/here very little work being done. Most of the employees are idling, chatting, using personal phones, vaping indoors, and generally moving slower than molasses. I asked at 11 when my car would be in, and was told next. My car is finally inside (11:20), after a bay was left empty for 20 minutes A customer with a 9am appointment just got her car back. THIS marks our last Mavis experience. It's now 11:35 and the car still isn't on a lift, but the hood's open... for a tire change?! I'll pay more next time for professional level service. Our car wasn't finished until 12:45. After watching 2 walk ins who got there after us get their cars serviced and leave.

I have used NTB for over a decade and have always been satisfied with the quality of service. I took my 2019 Escape in for an annual oil change and tire rotation. I mentioned that last year I was told my brakes probably needed to be replaced. This was checked and verified. I was quoted a price, which was very reasonable, and I told them to replace them. I was ready to go in under two hours. I could not have asked for friendlier or nicer people. Would most definitely recommend NTB.

Excellent customer service. My air gauge was reading low as if I had a foreign body in my tire. I was in the area of Mavis and pulled into the parking lot and they took care of me. Free of charge. No diagnostic fee, no nothing. I am more than happy to leave a review for this company. I did suggest that buy new tires and I’m glad they suggested that because it is the truth I do need new tires. I've heard Mavis to be a great place to have your car serviced. Friendly staff and they evaluate what also needs to be in the future with your car without any high-pressure selling tactics, which I appreciate. Their location is very convenient for me also. I've always appreciated it when the low tire pressure warning comes in my car during cold weather and they are able to fix the problem without charge unless, of course, the tire needs to be replaced.

If you can call having to have your tires aligned in the middle of a trip fun, but these folks took such great care of me it was almost a welcome break from the long drive with the wheel jiggling for 400 miles. They took me in the next morning and I drove home without any more shimmying. The price of 69.95 was fantastic. I know because I just paid 100 to get them balanced in a small town and their machine wasn't in calibration.

What truly sets them apart is their integrity—they never try to upsell me on services or parts I don't need. In fact, their expert advice has consistently helped me save money on my car maintenance. I recently had an issue with new wiper blades from another merchant that had developed an annoying squeak after only three months. A Mavis technician offered their blades, which were on sale for $10 less than what I had previously paid. They installed them quickly, and the squeaky sound is completely gone! If you're looking for honest service, excellent expertise, and great value, this is the place to go.

I do have an issue with the detail of the invoice and said charges such as tire replacement valves for 9.99 each as that's a little bit rich. No idea what shop supplies are ($4.80) nor was this ever discussed. Last, is a computer balance for $24.99 per tire a reasonable price. Again seems rich. My most recent experience with Mavis Ephrata was unfortunately very challenging and disappointing. Took my car in for an inspection and oil change which turned into being told I needed new shocks and other items for around $800. They didn't have the parts so was asked to come back the next day. I rearranged my schedule, came back to their location the next day. When I arrived, no one had a clue why I was there and were actually telling me I was wrong, no one told me to come back.
A mechanic who had worked on my car the day prior came out to state that no, I was there and they didn't have the parts the day prior. I was told they still didn't have the parts on my 2nd day back and they would call me when the parts are in. Never received a call and ultimately took my vehicle to another garage for a 2nd opinion. That garage stated I did not need the parts replaced Mavis said was needed, but if I did, it would be a fraction of the cost I was quoted at Mavis. Will never visit Mavis again after this entire experience.

Terrible customer experience! The manager Jim had me wait for hours in the shop for tires (which were in stock) to be installed. I came at 2:00 and saw people come and go ahead of me because they were complaining. At 4:30, I was the only customer left while he took the last customer before me as well. I reminded him that he said it would be 1 1/2 hour job. As an older woman, I was upset that he was so disrespectful - he blew up and said ‘put her tires back on’ and I left frustrated and furious at this terrible treatment.

I had purchased a new set of tires from the Calhoun Georgia Mavis Tire Store and later had an issue with one of them due to road hazard. The store manager is the one I originally talked with during the purchase. He told me I did not opt to buy the Road Hazard Insurance. He never offered it! The manager said he knocked off $40, but I paid the same price as the original tire. I was told that my truck was ready and found that the attendant left grease on my steering wheel and he had substituted a plastic valve stem cover instead of putting the chrome one he removed. I did not see it until had driven home 9 miles away. When I called the store, they said they didn’t remove any chrome stem covers! I went to the location and the store manager met me with my missing chrome valve stem cover. I will be in the market for another service center!

My wife brought her car here on the for a tire replacement after visible damage to a tire. Mavis staff failed to make ANY mention at all that her other tires needed to be replaced. They also failed to do a visual inspection to see if she needed an alignment which is mentioned on their website they are supposed to do for free on every tire replacement. She did in fact need the alignment and it was visible that she needed.
It wasn’t until she went to another shop less than a week later that all this came out. Every staff member in that shop passed the buck, claimed they didn’t know why this gross failure happened and conveniently no one from management was there. Not a single person apologised for the waste of time and gas and loss of pay they cost her making her drive back out to fix mistakes that they made. It could have all been taken care of in one trip had the staff done their job. A simple, "I’m sorry we messed up on this one. Let us fix it," would have been great but no. All she got was, "I don’t know, don’t know, it’s not my problem, I wasn’t here" and a very crass attitude overall.

Well, the location at 2819 N Central in Chicago was every bit as good, if not better. I live 60 miles +/- from this store. I drive by around 10 tire/ service outlets to do business here. Before Hurricane Katrina in 2005, I did my own tire and service work on my vehicles, that changed in a matter of hours, we were wiped out and displaced for over 2 years. I tried a Tire Kingdom on Manhattan Blvd. in Harvey, La.-- there I met Kelly **, manager-- my attention to detail is his attention to detail-- not just impressed but inspired-- I saw it was HIS SHOP. Asked Mavis Tires, Lufkin to remove tire from rim, stated I am willing to pay disposal fee (environmentally, the right thing to do), and return rim to truck bed for use as a hose reel. DO NOT GO HERE!!! For any reason! I went in for an alignment and came out with a busted skid plate and gas tank! Whatever they ran over was hard enough to smash the drive shaft into the frame. Contacted store manager then regional manager and were no help. They test drive cars off camera so it is tech's word against mine. So I spent 130 on an alignment and ended up doubling to fix the damage they refuse to take ownership of. 0 stars.

I have a mechanic friend who did a check on the claims that the front desk person made to me at the branch that my tie rods "were seized up" and that they tried grease and "blow torch" and were still unable to get them loose enough to do a front-end suspension. I decided not to have them fix it because I wanted to ask my friend to check their claim.
*Everything they said* was a lie. He reminded me that he had changed the tie rods 2 years ago and they were perfectly fine. He told me, however, that Mavis sent me out the door with the castle nuts so loose that it was dangerous that I drive away from there. He told me there was no way that they blow torched those tie rods. If there isn't some clear reason for all these mistakes, I will never return to Mavis (probably any Mavis). And they still charged me $130+ for a suspension that they claim they couldn't complete because of "Seized up tie rods"!

The employees at this Mavis location are very professional, well organized, efficient, friendly and very hard-working individuals that is dedicated to making sure that the customers are happy and the vehicles are fixed properly and in a timely manner. The supervisor is hands-on and he doesn't just standing behind the counter, he is also working on cars himself, making sure his men have what they need in materials and products throughout the day which I witnessed myself.
The lobby is clean. The staff have smiles on their faces, they seem to be in good moods. Happy to be there, team players. They help each other out that I had noticed. The staff was more than willing to take time out to answer my questions I had. They had patience with me and didn't mind answering my questions. This is by far the best mechanic shop I have ever been. I was having trouble with my truck starting. The battery was tested and it was okay. To find out that I needed a replacement starter when I finally got to Mavis Tires and Brakes, they took care of me within a few hours with a replacement starter that came with a warranty. I give these guys the highest stars possible for customer service.

I took my car to Mavis Tire in Douglasville, GA because my steering wheel was veering to the left badly. They called me 3 TIMES and told me my car was ready and each time the steering wheel was still veering hard to the left. They eventually charged me $172 for an alignment that did not fix my car and told me to take my car to the Dealership to have it fixed. Oh and let's not forget the $667 they tried to charge me saying the issue was NOT the alignment, it was a bad gear on the steering column which the Dealership refuted. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE!

I have been going to several different locations for service at Mavis Tire and have had issues with all locations except the one at 410 Spencerport Road. In 2024 I scheduled an inspection at 795 E. Ridge Road only to get there and be told that the person scheduled to do inspection was not there, also in 2024 I had new tires put on at 1490 E. Ridge Road. They scratched all my wheels. They took pictures. Told me they would notify manager and of course no one ever never contacted me.
Before the tires I had back brakes replaced in 2024 at same location only to be told in 2025 that the wrong pads were put on my car and I ended up paying over $450.00 to have new back brakes put on my car after only 1 year at the 2310 W Ridge Rd location, this location also recorded my trip miles as mileage and they totaled my bill incorrectly (I think I'm done with Mavis Tire).

I purchased four (4) tires from Mavis Tire of Wilmington on 202 and was never happier as it changed the entire performance of the vehicle!!! I had just driven it over five-hundred miles from South Carolina to Wilmington with 4 of the worst tires I have ever ridden on and within a minute of driving on my new tires from Mavis changed my entire opinion of this vehicle. I have had great service from the Mavis location in Geneso NY but they currently did not have a licensed NYS inspector so I made a 9:00 am appointment at the Mt. Hope, Rochester NY location for Aug. 22. I am making the 16 mile drive and get a call at 8:30 that they can't get the car in until an unknown time and I will need to leave the car. Plus they had the sr iced requested wrong. I was livid and was told at least he reached out? At 30 minutes before the worthless reservation. Asked him what the definition of a reservation was and he sputtered like the clerk in the Seinfeld episode. What crappy service, it's too bad because the Geneseo group called me the day I made the reservation to explain the inspector situation and I unfortunately switched to Mt. Hope.

I have always gone to NTB for service and now that it's Mavis I find the same excellent service that I have come to expect from the folks there. What a wonderful experience and the folks were very helpful and courteous. Your people who work there should get a large raise of money for a job well done. I would like to add that I understand that Mavis has removed all the drink machines and snack machines along with the coffee machine and that is not right. If I had decided to wait for the service, I would have had nothing to drink or a single cup of coffee. I understand that I could WALK to a store, but you must understand that we live in the South and the Summer and Spring weather are extremely HOT and it is not a walk that you would really want to make so how about bringing back those machines for the comfort of everyone. I went to Mavis to have my rear tires looked at due to them making a loud noise when driving. After looking at the tires they found that my shocks were actually rusted and car was out of alignment. They ordered the shocks and with in less than 30 mins the shocks showed up and within under 1 hour and 30 mins tires were fixed, car was aligned and new shocks were put on.

Took my daughter’s Jeep in for brake service. Front and rear brakes were inspected. Rear brakes looked good! Front brakes had a lot of brake dust on them. I arrived early for my appointment and the staff was not busy and pleasant and took me right away. I had gone for an oil change and tire rotation. The time it took was quick, which was great however, I was in the waiting room answering work emails and was unable to pay too close attention to what was being done on my vehicle.
The oil was changed however, the tire rotation was not completed. Since I was busy on my phone, I did not notice until I was home as my rear passenger side tire is always one degree less than the rest and has a mark on it. It remains in the same place as when I brought it in. Staff was pleasant, Blake especially, however while I sat in the waiting room, another employee was at the counter discussing NPS scores and customer complaints on speaker with who I assume was his manager. Wasn't very appropriate, especially discussing that he and another person had discussed the complaint, which they thought was insane, as the customer noted she was not happy that she was asked to complete the survey in front of other customers and some items about her race. Being in management these conversations should not be held in company of your customers.
It presents a poor and wrong impression of your staff and what is thought of your customers. My tire rotation as it was not completed, was discounted from a coupon which is why I did not bother calling back. You get what you pay for. I would suggest that when services are completed that the techs/ front desk review the service with the customer as opposed to only taking payment and requesting we as customers fill out the survey while they process the payment. It would go a long way, and items may not be missed. I hate to have to give such a poor rating, although I cannot in good mind disregard my experience.

I ordered General Altimax RT45 tires from your website at $153.99 ea. After looking at my bill, I saw I was charged $168.99. I was told that my battery needed replacement. When I looked at my bill that night I saw that an AGM battery was installed at $320!! No one said anything about putting in an AGM battery. If someone told me that a battery would cost 320, I never would have installed it.

I ordered tires for my vehicle. Upon arrival I wanted to make sure everything was correct. The manager on duty was rude and unprofessional. He actually lied when and I asked if everything in the computer was correct per our tire order. His response was “I’m not in the computer and can’t tell.” That wasn’t true. The company doesn’t have any local data, everything comes from a corporate office somewhere in ‘na-na land.’ This is the 1st indication there’s a problem with communication between store and customer. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, 3 hours later, the wrong tires were installed, exactly what I tried to avoid.
The manager again was rude, blaming me for misunderstanding. Absurd!!! The only one who was helpful was the actual technician guy working on the vehicle. He said he knew there was problem, but no one phoned us to right the wrong or for clarification. He was kind and understanding. He’s the only one with managerial skills and integrity. We had to wait another hour so our old tires could be put back on car. Now, we have no new tires and the entire day was wasted. Total incompetence and lack of professionalism on full display. I will never do business with your company again.

Went in for single tire replacement. Tech put 2 tires on and tripled my bill after clear communication with him. After discussing with management it was resolved. I fear this tech is getting commission off tires and trying to fill his pockets. Pay attention and be wary of this Sayre pa store. Who knows how many other people this has happened to. Overheard the tech tell management I had asked for the 2 tires which is false. If they were to pull the security footage they’d clearly hear otherwise. After he was told to fix the problem he created he was rough on my car and even scratched up my rims. Will never visit another Mavis store again.

I went to Mavis Tire in Barnegat NJ for oil change. I was told the oil change will be $37.00. I asked why, because less than 3weeks ago I paid $17.00. The service representative said because prices went up. Because of the situation in the world, I understand prices will increase and having no patience to argue, I am 73 years. I agreed to the oil change.
While changing the oil, one of the staff, called me to show me that I need two new tires in the front, two rear wheel sensors and a wheel alignment. I told the staff member that I bought the four tires and aiigned the car here about two years ago and I don’t drive the car a lot. It is a 2011 Toyota Sienna, with more than 350000 miles. I told him I am not going to buy new tires, I don’t need sensors and I don’t need alignment. I asked him if he will rotate the tires, he said yes, because I had bought the tires there and this was one the service they provide free for buying the tires. When I bought the tires I was told that they Mavis 55000 miles tires. According to documentation the tires at present has less than 40000 miles.
I went to pay the bill $37.00, I asked the cashier if the tires were rotated, he said, No. I asked the manager why he said he cannot rotate the tires without the alignment. I said I don’t need an alignment and I paid for free rotation when I bought the tires. The manager went on to give me a lecture about why I needed and alignment and had to pay for it, $99. I told him all I need what was due to me a free rotation. I also told him I taught Physics all my life, and have a very good understanding of mechanics and safety. This is another example of dishonesty, a rip off and taking advantage of customers. Before anyone buy get recommendations and do research.

7/8/25 Purchased two front tires for my son’s car. When he returned home my son pointed out that there were two different tires on the front and a different tire on the back. My son’s car had four of the same tires on his car. Now there three different tire brands on his car. I received one of the front tires that I purchased and other one is an original tire, one of the tires in the back is original, but the other back tire is different. I don’t know what happened but I’m going back up there on 7/9/25 to get an explanation. Mavis Tire on Hwy Ga-85 in Riverdale Ga. I paid for two Mastercraft tires and received only one and have a totally different used tire on the back.

Bought tires at Mavis, 5000 miles later brought my car back for free tire rotation. Informed my front rotors were warped and need new pads and discs. Paid $ 791 full-service brakes that I probably did not need. Buyer Beware.

Bought 4 tires from Sun Tire which now is Mavis 9 years ago. My tires are now halfway to it's life as I don't drive much. I have gone there after the Sun Tires changed to Mavis for tire rotation and tire leak. They honored the free lifetime rotation and balance because I bought tires from Sun Tire, same location. Now I would like rotation/balance, called to confirm, was told no. That it was "9 years ago and we cannot find your phone number in the system". Yes I'm still using the same tires I bought 9 years ago as I don't drive much. I still have the receipt I got from Sun Tire showing I bought 4 tires from this same location. Told me to pay $24 for one. Disappointed in having to pay $24 for my free lifetime rotation and balance. Going elsewhere for new tires when the time comes.

Bought tires April of 2024. Got 14,000 miles out then went back and the store said I should get back 400 to 500 dollars. The tire came to a 1000 dollars and corporate said alignment and install of 219 was all I was going to get after spending 2000 dollars in 14 months, but they’ll pocket the reimbursement from the manufacturer for my old tires. Just proves they will stick it to everyone.

You had informed the store you did not want to go through the normal warranty process as you needed the tires immediately. Therefore the only offer the store could make you was to provide you the upgraded tires you wanted at cost and waive the tpms, balancing and alignment charges. It is very possible we would've been able to offer you more had you been able to go through the normal warranty process. We apologize that you were in a time crunch but we are happy we were able to still offer you discounts regardless! To be clear, Mavis did not get any credit back from the manufacturer since we didn't execute the warranty according to their process.. so all discounts given to you were out of our pocket and as a courtesy.

Mavis used to be my go-to store. I just scheduled a new set of tires for my 12 ft trailer. Told the clerk that I was bringing it in to have them replaced. When I got there, the technician threw a fit and refused to do the work. I left in disgust. They had no problem wasting my time. "Out of the pool people!"

The folks were nice. Quick. But since leaving and driving my truck, the "free" tire rotation came with a cost. A loud ticking noise coming from one of the tires. I took it immediately back this morning and going on 2 hours, they haven't looked at it. I purposely took it in on a Sunday because I had plans Monday. Now I had to cancel my plans.

So I needed four new tires so I went to Mavis because of the good reviews. This was on Thursday. I woke up today being Sunday to go to work and I had two flat tires. So I had to get it towed back to me. This they told me my one tire had a slow leak and the other tire had a puncture room and I'm responsible to pay for that tire. They charged me $900 on Thursday and now I have to buy another tire. Will not be going there anymore!!

Work was done well and quickly. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Establishment was very clean. I made an appointment, arrived very early and they took me in without issue. Work was done within 2 hours (way faster than I expected). Overall a great experience. This is the o my place I will take my truck to have anything done.

Timely, thorough and professional. Good work and a fair price. Received my car at the appointed time, kept me apprised of the work required. Full expansion of the final bill before leaving the shop. Facility was clean and spacious with ample comfortable area to wait for the work to be completed. TV and coffee were available as well. Local and reliable.

I needed to get my 2016 Town and Country inspected but my check engine light came on. They took it back right away to test it, turned out it was only the gas cap. Did the state inspection and it passed. Was treated so well and they didn't charge for the diagnostic test! We will definitely be going back.... Staff is wonderful!! Best customer service!! The staff at the tire Kingdom in Jacksonville on Normandy Boulevard, went out of their way to acquire a tire that you do not stock to get me out of town on time. They were professional, kept me informed and got the work done within the promised time Special mention to Grant, but all were more than helpful.

I’ve come to this location a couple times and they have never disappointed me. Great service, friendly staff and speedy service. Before I always dreaded getting my car serviced but when I come to this location I know I’m in good hands. Prices are great compared to the local dealerships. I live about 20 mins from this location and pass many other car shops but I would rather drive to this location than anything closer to home.

I called and I asked for a price and they were very accommodating and called me back with a very reasonable rate. Unlike Meineke, which was 1000 more. They were very nice and got my car done on time if not early. Perry was very nice patient and accommodating. I was not expecting them to take my car the same day but they did.

I had a serious problem that Mavis Discount Tire in Kingston, PA.. Is one of the worse place to take your car. Why? Because all They want is to put things on you so you can spend money. They got upset just because I told them the truth that I was calling CORPS on them. You have five employees doing a big NOTHING. I just went there for Inspection and telling you my car has nothing wrong and quickly the girl in the front getting upset, just because I didn't want to buy their tires. Corps needs to let some of your worker that are getting paid for doing absolutely nothing.. Ashame on the four guys and a female working.. Also they had no customers there, so, off course they need some money.. Y'all need to get up on that.. I also have videos on exactly what they were doing... Nothing!!!

I had a tire emergency and stopped by shortly before closing and Leon was gracious enough to help me. A tire needed to be ordered and he called me the next day when it arrived. Once again, I arrived after 5:30 and Leon assisted me. All the mechanics in the shop remained working on cars past closing. It was nice to see dedicated workers rather than clock watchers. Everyone was professional and respectful and I highly recommend the Mavis on Dolson Ave.

I've used Mavis Tires & Brakes several times. I came by today to get a tire patched. They were very busy but was able to work me in. Management is willing to work along with the staff to get everyone out quickly as possible. I will continue to use them in the future. Thanks Mavis Tires & Brakes!

On May 4th, 2025, I scheduled through the Mavis Website for a 9am appointment at the Naples, FL store at 7445 Vanderbilt Beach Rd. When I arrived at the appointment, 5 others in-line and attended to at 9:30am. I explained to the Customer Service Representative I had a 9am appointment but more importantly a 2pm flight. He said he would call me in 1.5hrs to get me in the bay. At noon, I decided to go to the store as I did not hear from the Rep. I noticed that several customers were taken care that arrived after my 9:30am check-in. He told me that he would get me in ASAP. At 1:30pm still no action thus I had to leave. Thus, my vehicle is still in need of repair which is a follow-up to their previous work that costs $2500+.

Zaid At Mavis Tire in Embassy Drive Lancaster Very nice person, made my appt to get wheel alignment for a 2013 Toyota Venza, a couple of days before my appt. I replace the suspension and lowered with coil overs and the steering wheel got a lil of center, when it was time to get service done it was done on time and quick. The technician did a really good job. I am very pleased with it. Definitely recommend to anyone. They do really good job!!

I have tried to give Mavis the benefit of the doubt the first two times they messed up our work van. Once it darn near killed my hubby. If you want tires that last 2 years, go for it. If you want tires with a company that honors their warranty, go anywhere BUT Mavis.

Great prices, knowledge staff. Quick service! Very pleased with my experience. I don’t know much about tires and didn’t know that the reason I originally got a flat was because my tire was from 2018! The staff showed me the cracking on the side wall of my current tires. Replaced all 4 on my Nissan Kicks 2019 for less than $700 (including fees and installation)! Price was less than my estimate.

Bought 4 Michelin tires maybe 6 weeks ago. Got a blowout on I-95 on way to Newark. Went back to Mavis same day, Had tire replaced under warranty. Still cost $141 to replace 1 tire. Seems excessive price for new tire. Additional charges $35, new warranty $25, balance $ $81 tire pro rate. (So by this math? 6 weeks with minimum mileage, a tire loses 30% of its value. Ridiculous.

After being lied to and disrespected at Goodyear Auto on Sheridan Dr, I took my vehicle to Mavis to have a slow leak looked at. The techs found a metal piece penetration. They ordered me a new tire and it arrived as stated and I had it installed and was out the door in less than an hour. I highly recommend Mavis on Sheridan & Parker. Friendly, polite and professional service.

Buyers beware this is not an honorable company. Tried to charge me for work not performed and valves not installed. Manager was clueless to what mechanic installed. Tried to charge me for rubber valves not realizing I had metal valves with sensors. They Recommended new brakes which were not even close to being needed yet.
