This morning, my partner and I went to Mavis Discount Tire in Oxford, Florida, to have a nail removed from one of my car's tires. We were there about a half hour. The tire was removed from the wheel, the nail was removed, the puncture sealed, the tire remounted and balanced, and the tire remounted on the car. Service was professional, pleasant, and thorough. I can't recommend this business too highly.

Pretty disappointed. I bought two new rear tires for our 2023 Tesla on Feb 2, 2026. Last week, I took the car back to Mavis because one of the tires was losing air. They checked it and told me there was no leak. Two days later the tire was low again. This time they found a nail, and they told me that the tires with foam in them cannot be repaired. I bought a new tire for $500. All of my subsequent research shows that the tire is repairable by any experienced tire shop if it hasn't been driven flat, the hole wasn't in the sidewall and was smaller than 1/4" and the tire wasn't worn. I learned a $500 lesson. I won't be back.

Priced right, friendly staff and fast! Tires in stock and they had a replacement trailer tire which I had brought for repair but could not be fixed as several nails were in various spots. Need to tell my hay supplier to clean up before I back in there! As usual a great experience!

Have done business now with them for some 10 years. Always go there because I feel I am treated fairly. I explain what I need and they do NOT try to upsell me. Car ready when promised and I am oftentimes able to wait as they are fairly quick. Have had especially good experiences with Ivy, Mike and Richard. Will remain a loyal customer. Thanks guys!

I have had my car serviced at other Mavis locations. But at the service at this location out shines all others. To begin with, the front de. I have had my car serviced at other Mavis locations. But this particular location at Egg Harbor Township NJ outshines others. To begin with, the front desk personnel were extremely courteous and friendly. The Manager explained the work that would be done and the amount time it would take. All of which was done in a very efficient professional manner. I would highly recommend Mavis.

I ordered a pair of tires online. I was given a price that included: the tires, balancing and free installation. When I showed up to have the tires installed I was told there would be additional charges for labor and recycling. I told the counter person that those charges were not mentioned on the website and even showed him the order on my phone. The person replied the website, "never does".

I will never come here again and I recommend no one else to come here as well. They tried to charge me $700 for new brakes that I didn’t need. Explore your options because this is the LAST place I will go if I am in need for car services.

I went 3 times for them to resolve my major concern: The right turn signal at the back was not working. 1st visit, they assured me they fixed it. It is now working - they changed the bulb and I asked for oil change, which they did. I came back April 6, to tell them the blinker was not working contrary to what they claimed. So, on my 2nd visit, I was assured again that it was working & that they changed the bulb again & I need a brake flush which I said, "Go ahead and do it." When I went home, the blinker is still not working. So I came back the following day for the 3rd time & told them (different staff) that my blinker is not working & it's my 3rd time to come to that place to ask them to resolve the problem.
The staff checked over the computer & told me that yesterday, I have a brake flush only. I said, "Yes I did, it was offered to me but I came primarily for the blinker & they told me that they changed the bulb." They said there's no note there that my car's bulb was changed... I asked them, "What do you suggest?" She said, "Wait for the manager..." I waited for quite some time and another staff took my car key & took the car in... Then they came, told me the blinker was fixed but I need to change my car's battery, which I said yes...
My thought: why they offer something every time I visit? Why not do it one time... Because on my first visit as always I was assured they checked everything... Well, anyway 3 days was a lot... And sitting in the waiting area for many hours was wasted time. This is my first really bad encounter... No apologies from the staff. I think, these 2 encounter, they did not really addressed my major concern & overlooked it...

I called about 10 different tire companies to get quotes on 4 tires mounted and balanced (off the vehicle) and decided to go with Mavis because they even beat Discount tire by over $100.00. I specifically asked for the ENTIRE total of the tires/mounting and when I got the estimate emailed to me, it was for $200.00 more than quoted. I also got financing specifically only for $1000.00 to get the tires and have a little left over for an alignment. The emailed estimate did not even show the correct vehicle. I have a Ford truck and it showed the estimate was for a Honda. I called the individual store and after finally getting Nicholas on the phone, who was the person to originally help me, he kept trying to connect me to the 800 line, and was I getting a voicemail each time, I called back and told him not to connect me to a voicemail again or we could just cancel the order.
Finally a woman named Alma answered and she heard me out. When she looked up the original quote, she said she could tell that there were errors (such as the Honda being listed as my car) made. She told me she would get back with me by 10:00 am the next day (today) and I had to call when she did not call me back by 12:15 today. I left a message and she finally did call me back a few minutes later. She said that I should expect another call within 30 minutes from someone who would re-write the estimate and make sure pricing is right. I am not holding my breath on that.
Nicholas at the store also told me he would call me back this morning after he spoke with his district manager. I have not heard back from him as of yet. This whole endeavor seems to have been a mistake and I should have just gone to Discount Tire, which I will probably still do. If I can't trust that Mavis can even get the quote matter correct, how can I trust them with my vehicle? I work in the auto parts industry and we have a high standard of customer service where I work and this would be unacceptable on all levels. In fact, I have been sending customers to Mavis for tire-related matters. I may have to re-think that. My son also sends customers from his mechanic shop to Mavis and he is not happy about this situation either. This has been more than frustrating for something that should have been a really simple transaction.

The staff is professional and knowledgeable. The service is fast and accurate. They tell you exactly what's going on with your vehicle and do not push unnecessary services. Every time I bring a vehicle to be serviced or have a problem they knock it out of the park!

Only took 2 days to get my tires in stock, then 2 hours to replace all tires and a dying battery. The waiting area is comfortable. I ordered the exact tires I wanted online without any haggling from a sales/staff person. Price was transparent and fair. Spending money on your vehicle sucks, but this place makes it as painless as possible.

I came to Mavis in Ossining NY at 9:00 am. Had appointment. Told them my car shook when braking. At 10:30 am the desk person said I needed shocks and the tire I purchased last month had a bubble. She said the brakes were fine. I said that's impossible. The mechanic took it for a drive and then re-inspected my wheel and said rotors were worn. This was after sitting for one hour and a half. It's a few minutes to 12 pm and I am still waiting. The work here has gotten really bad. They used to do better work.

1. Price Match - both in-store and online claims that competitors' prices will be met or beat is patently untrue. I provided a tire quote from BJ's, but because it was obtained online and not at the tire center, the price guarantee was not honored. One could claim false advertising as there are no disclaimers about not accepting online pricing.
2. When I began driving after installation, the air pressure warning light on the dash board illuminated. I immediately returned to the tire center, but was told everything was OK and that the light would go off after driving "a couple of miles. Since the light did not go out, I checked the tires the following day. One tire had 16 PSI, the other three tires 18 PSI. Tire specs simply state a max of 44 PSI, so I added air up to 32 - 34 PSI and the light went off (this cost $7.50 at a local service station). Really bad experience.

Mitch from Mavis brick blvd brick nj is more than amazing. I always go here for any of my car issues. Today alone I need an oil change. With short staff and out of parts, Mitch has to drive to Eatontown to get the parts needed for my car so that I don’t need to come back tomorrow. I am more than grateful with this team. Have been using Mavis for years, I carried my Ford Explorer Sport Trac to the store in Brandon, MS to some new tires put on the rear end in November 2024. Almost $2,000 later I have two new tires, new brakes and rotors on all four tires, along with sway bars and shocks and they had my truck for over two days. Jump forward to Thursday, March 19, 2026, 16 months later, I carry my truck back to the store in Brandon to see if they could fix a tire that I picked up a nail in. They said they couldn't get to it, because they only had one tire tech there that day.
So I went to the Mavis store in Flowood, MS to see if they could get to it. The manager came out and looked at the tire and she said they couldn't repair it because of the wear on the tire due to improper alignment. I stated that I had asked for the alignment to be done when the new tires were installed. The manager stated that I should call the corporate office about that. So I have to get a new tire, and the tire was not in stock and would have to be ordered and it wouldn't be in until Wednesday, March 25 and the manager even set me up an appointment for that day as well.
The manager at the Flowood, MS store was wonderful to work with. Received a call from Jennifer that the tire had been installed, but during the install of the tire they noted that my front brake pads had less the 10% life in them and it was recommended that the brake pads and rotors should be replaced. I stated that I had those replaced in November 2024 and I had only put like 13,000 miles on my truck in that time frame. I've never had pads or rotors go bad that quickly. She confirmed what I was saying by looking at my Customer history in the computer. She stated that I should carry the truck back to the Brandon store.
Most of the time when I have had work done, it was during the week, but my last two experiences at the Brandon store have not been the best, but they are like five miles from my office. The Flowood store has always been great. I'm not really sure if they did the alignment was even done at the Brandon, MS store. Considering 95% of the miles I drive are highway or interstate miles.

The staff is friendly. My service was done in the expected time frame. Reasonable price. They called to recommend some services, but didn’t pressure me to have them done right away. I opted to wait for next time. I had an oil change and inspection. Took about 4 hours.

I came in for a patch for a tire, but I was shown that all of my tires had wear and other problems. I had hoped for a few my miles on these original tire from the manufacturer, but it was time to replace them. I also, I needed an alignment which they can provide. I was given a fair quote, and after checking with another dealer we were able to adjust the price, for a good deal. The staff were wonderful, helpful and friendly. The work was completed quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend Mavis Tire in Lufkin, TX.

I spoke to a salesman (**) at the store at 6550 West Fry., Fort Worth, TX. He gave me a price for four tires and I agreed to have them installed at that price. The invoice I received after the tires were installed indicated a different price. The manager said it didn't matter what the salesman quoted. The price will remain the same. I will not do business with Mavis again. They are not honest. They have been reported to the BBB also.

I will never take my car there again… I waited 3 hours to have my car serviced and when I finally got my car looked at they told me my tire had some type of plastic stuck in the side of my tire. Mind you I sat in my car for the 3 hours. I waited for service without any problems with my 3 month old tire…. Now not only are they telling me I need a new tire but now I also need tie rods! They are scamming people… If you need tire service don’t look anywhere near their direction. You’ll thank me later.

Went there for noise concerns in front passenger side of the car. Was told it was a wheel bearing issue and that would fix the problem however after a $632 repair the issue still persists. The disappointment is I was guaranteed this maintenance would solve my issue and feel I wasted time and money.

We found the best price online at Mavis. It was very simple to pick out the tire and then make an appointment online. Since my tire was flat and it was Sunday, I was very pleased to be able to take care of the appointment and get it for the next morning without having to wait and call. I dealt with one lady at the store and she was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. I also observed her dealing with other customers and she was customer service-oriented.

Service to change a headlamp. It was a last minute thing and I was able to get in within 10 minutes. The job took around 30 minutes to remove the items to get to the light and reassemble. I have used this store several times and the team members have always been helpful.
