I was having trouble with my scanner, and inquired as to how I could get it working. I was told to reach HP tech support. This was on April 3rd and at that time a tech support expert by the name of Charles called me back and installed the driver that I needed and was very helpful in walking me through the process of scanning and storage in my computer. He noticed warnings and alerts in my C drive and recommended McAfee anti virus software. I called him back April 5th at which time he installed the software. It was a very good experience and I am very pleased.

When I was trying to get a hold of Canon who is the manufacturer of the printer, I automatically got connected to Tech Support Expert. It cost me money but it was okay. They had a sale where they tried to get me to pay more money and be covered for a year or so, but I declined on that. The warranty is for 30 or 45 days. I also called them a while back because I was having a problem connecting my desktop to my WiFi. The rep walked me through a whole bunch of things, spent quite a while with me and we finally got it to work. He's from East India but he was speaking very clearly. Although before, when I get an East Indian rep, I can hardly understand because of the accent. But the rep from Tech Support Expert was pretty good and I've had no difficulty understanding him. I'm satisfied with their service.

I bought a wireless extender for my house and I was having trouble with it. So I called the Tech Support Expert's number on there and they cleaned up my computer for me. Their techs were real friendly. I have to admit though that I was a little afraid of them because of their foreign accent and because I had a call before from people saying they were from Windows and that I had alerts from my computer, and I had people warn me about that. So, their rep had me pull up ConsumerAffairs while he was talking to me because he wanted me to be comfortable with him and assure me that he was not a scam and that helped me. I'm honestly glad that they can have control of my computer because I'm stupid when it comes to it.

Had my Hp printer issue start with a new modem and had problems with the wireless but fixed it myself till I tried to print off the computer. Tech Support Expert was good, have some unresolved issues. However, these issues could have been created by iYogi, because they would re-occur. Tech Support Expert installed McAfee and hopefully problems will be reduced or cease to occur. Cost for protection was better than competition.

I have Bitdefender on my computer and I once had support on it, but it was a one-time thing. To my understanding, it was not ongoing. I signed up thinking it was a one-time payment for a couple of years but I got a fee of $19.99 every month from Tech Support.
