My Computer Works Reviews

I wanted to take the time to say thank you to My Computer Works. I made a drastic mistake by taking advice from a friend of mine and use a company called Driver Restore. This company came in by remote and totally trashed my desktop and laptop. My Computer Works came in to my computer by remote and spent three hours working on and cleaning my systems to run back to our high efficiency rating and cleaned all of the malware Trojans and everything else that was wrong that Driver Restore had placed there.

My Computer Works is a great company. The cost is about $29 a month, so I’d like to see it go down a little. But the quality of their service is great. And I’ve always called for problems and they’ve always fixed them, so it's a good deal. There’s a considerable delay between my request for service and when the tech calls. But once they call, they take over my computer and fix the problem. They’re professional and all of my experiences have been fine.

I couldn’t boot my computer and I called My Computer Works to get help. The lady started asking questions and told me it was a problem. They offered me a new product and I told them I couldn’t take it because I was going to buy a new computer. I had to wait until I get another computer to continue my service with them. They’re efficient and they take care of my problems when I call them and I’ve had to call them several times. They set the appointment. We get online and they do what they have to finish and it’s done.

The people at My Computer Works have been very patient. 98 of the techs whom I have worked with out of 100 have been the smartest and the most effective people that I’ve ever met. However, the tech whom I worked with the last time was the least effective. He was very smart but he didn’t know how to do problem solving. He really needs a lot more experience. I don’t think he knew what he was doing because he was running all of the place, or he probably thought I didn’t know what I was doing. He was talking about things that were not even on my computer. We weren’t getting anywhere, but then my power went out all of a sudden. I went later and I couldn’t get it back online.

My Dropbox was sending me messages that it was approaching the capacity so I called Computer Works to see if we could clear out some of the things that were being stored at Dropbox. A technician contacted me right away and we resolved the issue. We knocked a whole bunch of different albums of photos that didn’t need to be in there and knocked it all the way down to about 10 percent capacity. I rarely get the same technician and it’s usually somebody new and they’re all friendly and very accommodating. Also, everybody in the office is very prompt, courteous and helpful.

It’s been good with My Computer Works. Instead of me spending hours trying to fix my own problem, I call them, and they fix it right away. It’s worth every dime I pay them and I never had a problem with them over the years. I’ve only had a couple techs who didn’t know what they were doing or answering, but I've had very good success with the other ones. For a while, it was kind of long period before I get called back, but recently I’ve been called back within a decent period of time.

I set an appointment with My Computer Works but no one called me. I had to contact them and reschedule for the very next day. It was like they forgot about me and that was not good. I was a little upset because it was at 6:00 PM so I took extra steps to do it. I had scheduled time to be here at my office and I had my dad pick up my kids and stay at home to be with them. That became a waste because nobody called me. My dad is not an expert in taking care of two kids and I don't want to ask him to do something he doesn't have to. That has happened in the past too and I don’t even call My Computer Works that often. I don't know whose fault that is but the tech supports have been excellent once they get me on the phone. They are very knowledgeable, helpful, and nice. But they can do a little better on their response time. If I call once a year, I want to have good service.

Two months ago, My Computer Works helped me with a problem on my computer. I called their office and a tech called me back within a couple of hours and did the fix remotely. We were on the phone but there is a way that they can get into my computer after I signed them in so they can see what might be going on and because I’m right here, I can see that it’s been fixed. Whoever I talk to in their office has been very pleasant. Their technicians have always been great whether it takes them one hour or three hours. I like their service and I like the way they do it. I'd tell a friend that would ask about them that if they have computer problems, they should have My Computer Works.

As a realtor, I need my computer so much. I know that there is a free service through the National Association of Realtors but I haven’t tried that yet. The only thing I do know from talking to other people is they will only deal with the primary issue that you call them for. Whereas My Computer Works, if you say, “Hey, I got this problem and this problem and this problem.” They’ll deal with all of those at the same time within the same call. Whereas with the National Association of Realtors, if you tell them you got three problems, they’ll only deal with one right then. You need to call them back to get the other ones taken care of.

My Computer Works has people who have always helped me whenever I call them. When I request for service, their rep calls me back and I tell him the problem. They always deal with it. They are very polite and quick. I'm 66, so sometimes, I ask stupid questions and they don't care. One time, my computer kept turning itself off and I had to turn it back on. They went through all the programs I had and any kind of strange ware that showed up, they took it out and then it stopped doing it. It was fixed. Overall, they do a great job and I’m completely satisfied with them.

My Computer Works have techs that were pretty cool and sharp about some things, but some of them are just more in depth about stuff. The tech I recently had from My Computer Works was good. I asked what if I have a question about something that has nothing to do with like the program and they said that I can call anytime.

I got My Computer Works through HomeAdvisor and requesting their service was not difficult at all. My issue was I had those inbox "lock up" things that you have to use, the inbox "fix it" tool, which I couldn't find. The gentleman who ended up helping me was very efficient. He found that the inbox repair tool and put the little icon on my desktop so that I wouldn't have trouble finding it again. I couldn't be happier with the help he gave me. I was 100% satisfied and very pleased with the work that was done. I haven't had the same type of issue since and I'm confident that if I do, I just go to that little thing that he put on the desktop for me. I would recommend them.

A couple of months ago, I talked to My Computer Works about transitioning from my computer to a Mac product and needed to make an appointment. I got a nice voicemail message and I had to leave a message, but I would rather have somebody answer the phone. I've had them for a couple of years and decided that this was not worth it. I was paying a premium service where I could get an hour’s call back and that’s never happened so I fell away from it. I found them one day and thought that I had to go back to them and see if anything has changed. The problem there was that I didn’t get the timing of the service. If I have a problem, I need to hear from somebody within a few hours, but it’s been a few days already. Fortunately, I've only had that maximum frustration twice.

I’m a real estate agent and when I have problems with the computer, My Computer Works' usually something I need to be resolved quickly. I know other people that are in real estate that also use them and I've referred them to a number of people. They have a call center where sometimes my call gets answered and sometimes it goes to a voicemail. Then, I give them my name and they'd have my account number. They have a queue wherein they used to send me an email saying what number I was in the queue. But, I don’t even pay attention to that anymore because I went with their one-hour service.

My Computer Works had to redo my computer. They were really good at what they’re doing. I got a billing issue one time and they were quick about getting it done and letting me know what had happened. They were extremely patient with me because I'm not really good at describing computer stuff. Their service is also reasonably priced.

I think Anthony, the tech did a great job on my PC. Very courteous and professional. I would recommend My Computer Works to my friends, or anyone for that matter. Thanks for the good work. He cleared all of the junk from my PC.

I have a positive experience with My Computer Works and they’re the best. I have a Windows 7 desktop and it’s overheating, and it keeps shutting me off. So, they tried to get that set and told me to put a little fan back there. It’s in a room but there’s no air-conditioning and they said the issue might have been when the desktop got hot, it got hot in the house. I’m trying to transfer to a Windows 10 and I’m afraid to use it but I’m forced to because the 7 keeps bumping me offline. Dave worked on the Windows 10 and he helped me get the printer hooked up. And then they cleaned up the computer and put a Malwarebytes on it. 99% of their staff is very patient and understanding. They’ll go over a couple of times with me to make sure I have it right. I love them. They are professional and always supportive.

I’ve been using My Computer Works for years and I’m very happy with them. They’re very prompt whenever we request for service and their reps are great.

My Computer Works is wonderful and they are always unbelievably helpful. They are a value. If I call them once or twice a year, it's expensive considering that it costs a few cents short of $30 a month. However, when I do need them, requesting service is very easy and there's somebody there to respond. Plus, they're very good at what they do. They put my computer through its paces and gets it working again. I can’t ask for more than that.

Three weeks ago I had some software issues. My Computer Works hooked up and fixed it for me. When my old CPU crashed and I had to buy a new one they also helped me download from the external hard drive that I had to my new PC. Everything’s working fine. I call them and generally I have to set an appointment because they stay busy. And then they will call back within the hour of that appointment time. They have never failed doing that. The techs are very cooperative and they help. I'm satisfied and I feel confident that the problem has been resolved. If any of my friends is having PC problems I would tell them to give My Computer Works a call.

I had an experience with My Computer Works a month ago and it was fine. I scheduled the service with their rep and the technician who called was easy to understand. They took over the computer and for the most part, fixed it really quickly. I have been with them for 15 years and they addressed the issues that I needed so I continue to use them. I have referred several people to them, including family members. It's convenient, local, and worth the money.

My Computer Works has been over-the-top in everything. We are illiterate when it comes to a lot of these stuff and they have helped us in so many situations and solved the issue every time. They have helped us change computers, back up stuff and then reload it on a new computer which we've done twice. They are very responsive. They call back in a reasonable amount of time and stick with it until they get it done. It is very easy to request for service. I call their number and if I don't want to wait, I just leave my number and they'll call me back within an hour.

My computer was real slow and had a bunch of garbage on it. It was an older computer with a 17” screen. It is about eight years old but it's still a good laptop. So, I gave My Computer Works a call to try and get it all cleaned up. When I requested the service, they answered all my questions. They did away with a lot of viruses and a lot of programs that were on there. Their rep told me what to expect and what he was going to do. Each area that he went into, he explained to me why I didn't need it and he explained things that I could do myself in the future. He did a good job and sped the computer up a little bit. It is still slow but it's 100% better than what it was. It was a really good experience. If I needed any service, I'd give them another call.

My Computer Works is a great service to have. I'd call them to request a service and if nobody picks up, I'd leave a message. They'd call me back and we'd set up a schedule that fits my time. I'd log them into the computer and then I leave. They'd call me when they're done, updating of what they have to do. Their technicians are knowledgeable and if they don't know the answer to something, they'll look it up. Recently, I was having problems with my printer. I needed to replace the ink and the technician and I went over it step-by-step, looking what we could find and then we finally figured it out.

I bought a new computer and My Computer Works transferred everything from my old one into the new and set everything up for me. I asked them before if they could do it and they said yes, I just had to call them. Their reps were also wonderful, always well with my computer and any issue I have, and they helped me 100%. I felt very satisfied and confident after working with them. It was an excellent experience and I would recommend My Computer Works to anyone.

I have been with My Computer Works from the start. The way I found out about them was when they sent a representative to a business networking group in Arizona. I was in that networking group and then I decided that I needed somebody because I could not figure my computer out but even if I could, I don't want to. That's not what makes me money trying to spend hours working on my computer. So far, I spend $29.95 then I have a $9.95 back up so it's $40 a month. And then I just call in for everything and they are absolutely unbelievable.

I've been working with My Computer Works for six years now and my experience with them was wonderful. I was having trouble finding my Windows Moviemaker and they helped me find it. Most of the time I love requesting for service. I go on the computer and tell them that I need help. They would send a message saying that they'll get back with me within 60 minutes. But sometimes it takes two or three hours to get a call. I'm paying for a premium they are supposed to call back within one hour and I get perturbed when it takes a long time to finally get back to me. But my interaction with the reps is usually very good and their performance was excellent.

I'm very happy with the service I've received and I really appreciate you guys. This was the worse virus I ever came across, and I thought this PC was done for, but you guys really saved me this time. Thanks again.

I call My Computer Works and schedule appointments with them. They call me back and have the service over the phone. They would also connect to my computer and work on it. I’ve been using My Computer Works for 10 years and my daughter still has it. Their customer service reaction is good, very thorough and polite. My Computer Works always made an effort to help in the past but they were unable to help with my laptop this last time. It was running slow and it wouldn’t connect sometimes. They tried different ways but they couldn’t get into it. The girl at my daughter's house knew a little about computers and My Computer Works talked her through it but they still couldn't do it. I didn’t have time to sit there all day so I just had somebody else come and look at it where I live.

I have a contract with My Computer Works for about four years and it covers both my computer and my wife's computer. Each time I’ve had any contact with their reps, they were pleasant and helpful. But I am aggravated that I pay $40 monthly which I can understand, but I have to pay $15 on top of that for every half hour every time I call, and that’s why I don’t call. If I am engaged in a lot of exotic things and it's my business computer, I can see that it’s worth it. But I use mine for reading news and email which is just casual use. My wife spends more time on the computer because she does social media, but I don't do any of that, though I do a fair bit of stuff on my phone now. So My Computer Works do a good job but I can find something less expensive and I'm in the process of looking now. It’s not because their service isn't good or responsive, but it costs too much. I'm retired and have to be aware of what I spend.

I had a virus on my computer claiming to be Microsoft and threatening to crash everything. They wanted me to call a number to fix the issue, which I knew was a scam. My Computer Works fixed the issue. They were very polite and very professional on the phone. The Tech gentlemen on the phone explained everything and walked me through everything I needed to do to get my screen clear. Then he explained that he would call me back in a couple of hours and update me on removing the virus and any other potential threats there might be on my computer. He called back and he said it was all resolved and call again if I have any other issues that arise in the future.

In my experience, their customer service has been very good. It began when I had an issue with installing a keyboard. I wasn't very clever in the way I did it, but they put it right. My recent issue is mostly fixed and it just seems to happen. When I took a look this morning, the backup was done Everything seems to have happened almost automatically. I've had a couple of occasions when I wanted help and they've always been readily available. I'm very pleased to have them and have nothing but applause.

Help with installing a WeChat app - My first experience with this company was great. I had a money-back guarantee if they didn't solve my problem. Cody **, the technician, helped me. He listened and was patient, efficient, and explained what I needed to do. My problem was resolved, and I liked the remote support a lot. I couldn't have figured out how to do this on my own. So, I definitely recommend My Computer Works services.

I've been a customer of MCW for a few years now. I probably contact them more than most since I knew nothing about computers until a few yrs. ago. I have never had a bad experience with any of their techs. They have always been very professional, very polite and very patient. They have never talked down to me or like I'm a dummy (even though I am when it comes to computers). Like so many will in that situation. My Computer Works has the best people working for them.

I was unable to sync my computer to my wireless printer when I got a new modem. I needed to file tax returns and I couldn't wait so I had to call whoever would come and whoever called me back first got the job. I called a couple of people and left a message and then My Computer Works called me right back. The tech walked me through it. He was a really sweet, confident, and calm guy who helped me and understood what I was saying. I told him I was totally technologically-challenged. He said, "Okay. If you don't mind, I'll sign on to your computer and I'll fix it faster." I said okay and he did. I could see when he was on and when he got off. I felt safe letting him do that and I was very pleased. I would call them again except I really would prefer to use someone locally. I would definitely recommend My Computer Works.

I check with My Computer Works every three months and they go through everything. They bail me out if I have any problems. They unload anything that’s on there that shouldn’t be on there and they get rid of stuff that I don’t know how to get rid of as far as junk that slows the computer down. They also check all of my files and everything, make sure that there’s nobody trying to get in the back door. Also, if I want to get rid of something or add something, they show me how it works. They show me tricks of how to get to different things. The team easy to work with. Anyone that I’ve dealt with, they didn't try to rush me or anything. They’re very easy going and they listen to my problems and that’s what I like about them. They aren’t condescending and aren't trying to push anything on you. I also like that if I have any questions I can call them, they’ll answer the question, or call me in whatever that I need.

I had three techs help me, Mark, Walter and the third was Anthony. All three were very professional and courteous. Anthony the last of the three was exceptional, he explained everything and guided me through icons, a very patient man and I thank him for that, and yes I would glad recommend your company to any of my friends or anyone that is needing computer help. Thank you.

I could not get into my desktop without a password. It was put on by the company where I bought the computer. But it was so long ago that the place where I bought it has changed management and they changed location. When I called, they didn't want to handle it. they can't send somebody out here. The CPU has to be brought to them then they'll figure out what the problem ws. And that's a lot of trouble. So I called a number that was in the yellow pages. It said, "My computer won't work". It's a good attention-getter. It was My Computer Works and the guy that came was very good. He's in his 40's, was neatly dressed and was very polite. I needed the password removed and he did what I asked him to do. He fixed the problem. And it was quick.

I like My Computer Works because I know somebody on the other end will work on my computer. Typically, I explain the problem and then they work on my computer while I'm away from it. And then they call me during different phases of it and will explain what they're doing and what's happening. Sometimes I'll have to ask another question or so but they're good about following up. They typically respond within a day too. So far, they’ve resolved any issues that I've had.

My Computer Works solved my problem. They have very cordial and knowledgeable representatives. I’ve had an excellent experience and will continue to return for their service.

Called on Thursday to schedule an appointment to have a television installed. Spoke with Josh. He assured me they could have a technician out Saturday afternoon, so I took the day off missing out on 12 hours plus of overtime (approx $800). Saturday morning I get a call from their office. She tells me that they do not have a technician in this area and won't have until Monday. She assured me that she would have a technician here between 6:00 and 7:00pm. So again... I left work early today, missing out on even more overtime. Technician is a NO SHOW!!! Called their office, got the long list of BS apologies and excuses then was transferred to another dept where I had to leave a voicemail. Finally received a return call and they tell me the technician was never assigned the call... just more BS excuses! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!

My interactions with the reps at My Computer Works have been excellent. They are very customer oriented and they not only fix the problem but they also try to let me understand what they’re doing. I’ve been with them for over a year now and six or seven times I brought my computer to them. They had solved the issues every time and they’ve been very pleasant in doing it. I pick up things in the daily use of my computer and it slows down but they have always been able to take care of it for me. I’ve also used them on the mobile telephones and they do a good job on that too. They’re great and they seem like a very honest and reputable company, and I’ve been very happy with them.

I've had a very good experience with My Computer Works. They are excellent and I would recommend them.

I was scammed one night. I called one place that was located in England, then gave them my credit card and they charge my account. So, I said to myself that it was a scam and I wasn't feeling safe. Then I found My Computer Works, spoke to a woman, and she cleaned up the whole thing. Then we joined them, which was about a year ago and we've been together ever since. Before that, we had a fellow in the neighborhood who did it but he got another job because he wasn't making out with fixing computers and there wasn't enough work for him. And then through the years, we got other people come in. With My Computer Works, when I call them, 15 minutes later someone calls me back. We then sit down, work on it, and then I'm back online.

My Computer Works told me that changing the hard drive on my computer would take care of all the problems. I talked to eight different people during the course of this thing and the last two people said my computer should never have been upgraded to Windows 10 and that it was the new hard drive that was causing the slew of problems I was getting, so they refunded my money and I bought a new computer. The people I dealt with were very nice but the guy who sold me on this upfront should never have done so. Overall, my experience wasn't good and I would never go back to them or trust them in the future because of what they did.

I stopped the service from My Computer Works because I couldn't get them to call me back on a problem I had. I started August 18th of 2015 and have been paying $39.95 for two solid years and when they didn't return my call, I called the credit card company and told them to stop the payment. I heard nothing from Computer Works. I even sent them an email but they never responded to it.

My Computer Works keeps my computer free from bugs. I have their monthly service and I like that I don’t have to think about it. I can call in if there’s something wrong with the computer and I'll be put in a queue depending on where my call falls in line of everybody else who needs some technical assistance that day. When it comes up to the no. 1 spot, one of the technicians will call me back, talk to me about the problem, connect with the computer, and take care of it. They always take care of everything right away and the computer has been excellent since the last service. The people I worked with were good and I’m comfortable and satisfied. It’s convenient and dependable.

My printer wasn't working, so I called My Computer Works to get it working. It ended up to be an all-day thing. They put you on hold a lot. The technician did something that it should have worked, but it didn't and you have to pay him upfront. I had to call back. It was like four or five hours before they returned the call. I'm older, and I’m not computer literate. They act like, "You should know all this stuff." Well, I'm sorry. I didn't grow up with computers.

Jason ** did an exemplary job of finding the problem with my computer and fixing it. It took him a long time to fix the issue and I commend his perseverance. He was also very patient with me as I am rather slow on the computer. I'd recommend your company highly.

I called My Computer Works with a very technical problem and as soon as they could take over my computer, everything went perfectly. The tech straightened all the problem out and got the virus out. Everything they have done has been extremely efficient. They're friendly and nice, especially considering that I’m over 70 and not good at this stuff. I’ve had dealings with other companies and it’s been miserable. However, the young men from My Computer Works are so respectful and understanding and they don’t snort at me.

I have been working with My Computer Works for two years. They've always been dependable every time I call. They give me an appointment and when the time rolls around, they usually call to let me know if they can't get to me. I'm real satisfied with them. They have always been able to solve the issues that I've had. They did service on my computer lately. It is going to be slow topped with a hard drive in it but it's still running.

Requesting service with My Computer Works is sometimes good and sometimes, it isn't. The people that work there are very nice. But sometimes, they're so overworked that they barely have time to get back to me in a period of time that I want. They're supposed to get back in an hour but sometimes, it takes several hours. The most recent one that I called them was for something that my computer wasn't doing right. Once I got them to help me, it worked better.

My experience with My Computer Works has been very erratic in the past several years. I have seen the service jump from excellent to terrible to fair. My computer was running slow the last time and it was very difficult to reach anybody. They say they’re going to do something but they do not. I have to keep going back since they have a lot of different techs. And just because you call, you don’t get the same person all the time. So if the problem doesn’t get settled the first time, you just have to call back. You just have to keep on trying until you get somebody who can fix it. While communications can be improved and I’ve talked to Luke Ford as recently as three weeks ago about it, they’re still a long way from fixing the problem.

I was on vacation when I started having computer issues and from where I was, I didn’t know a soul. I did a search and found My Computer Works. The guy came in within a couple of hours and checked for spyware, adware – those kinds of things. He was very pleasant and helped with my issues. But what resolved it was a new hard drive and after that, I felt a little more confident that I was safe in using my computer. They were very polite and concerned with my issues. They were also speedy on the job and I’m not dissatisfied with their service. I knew that when I walked in the door, I was obligating myself for six months which is 60 bucks a month and that was back in March. But I need to contact them and end my subscription since I have found a local technician.

I am 89 years old, am demanding in spite of my frailties, or because of my frailties. My computer went down, and I called My Computer Works. They were responsive, timely and efficient, which is very important to me. The pricing was something I could afford, since I am on pension. They were understanding of my position and condition, and very insightful in dealing with me.

Contacted what I presumed to be main office of "My Computer Works" and described problems I was having. Was told services available and costs and opted for one time service charge. Was contacted by service rep shortly thereafter and after discussing problems service rep proceeded to explain process involved and he started his service. Contacted me several times and successfully completed cleaning up the problems with my computer to my personal satisfaction.

Great experience. Pleasure to talk to and fix the problem fast!!! Would recommend that everyone use their service. A grade A company and fast service. They really saved me a lot of trouble and help me get my computer back to its old self. Thanks!

Had a bad experience with scammer. Found a company to take care of my computer. They closed. Difficult to trust next company and received excellent service from My Computer Works. Very professional, patient, easy to follow their directions. Have confidence in using their service again.

I've been with My Computer Works for about 7 years. They solved issues to the best of their ability in remote and did a good job for me. They do more than just the computer and do their best to help if I got problems with email. They have a program wherein they're supposed to get back in an hour and I can ask for a credit if they don't. I've never done it and right now they have a tendency to get back in 2-3 hours. I am recently trying to change over my billing to a different program and I talked to them this morning. They were very polite however it was hard to get to them. Their main person that deals with that was out but I got them. I'm a realtor and My Computer Works is a good program for me. I'm surprised that more realtors don't use it but I recommend it. I'm satisfied with My Computer Works.

The Tech, Mathew, was very polite and professional. He was a true Knight on a digital, white horse. Thank you so much. I will connect to and utilize the internet with confidence from now on. Thank You SO Much.

Everything has to be done with a computer and machines and I don't like it. I have to use a computer every single time and My Computer Works has saved my life. Sometimes, I get frustrated with the problems but their reps are always very nice, patient and kind. In fact, I was just talking to somebody and he was trying to help me. I'm going to continue with My Computer Works as long as I have a computer.

Having problems with a scammer, who was telling me I had problems with Microsoft, I then called Computer Works and they checked out my computer and there was no problem with it, needless to say they gave me a very uplifting day.

Several days ago, I had a horrible experience trying to acquire a Tech Service Company, that was honest - upfront & reliable. After McAfee ripped me off, I was in tears - & turned to Consumer Affairs to report them - now I've learned since, that they won't let me report them as they are contenders. Unreal. In my huge dilemma, I requested the top 3 tech support firms with the best of current ratings... & I contacted MCW. It is the BEST MOVE I have made in years. The sales person Kerry, was superb - patience unmatched! She gave me an appt time the following morning (since I was too burnt same evening after all day McAfee lies & runaround) ...& believe me - I was literally shocked that Kenneth (my tech guy this day) called me first thing next morning - as promised. Poor guy - spent hours & hours getting my system back on track - & every single time he told me he would do something - HE DID.

All I know is that You guys are super and I would recommend you to anyone. I would never use anyone else. This company has saved me multiple times from problems I could not solve myself. It would be to your advantage to use this company. They are super!

Living in a remote area when my computer went down I looked in the yellow pages and choose My Computer Works not knowing what to expect. The technician was friendly and courteous and appreciated my concern that I might lose everything especially my business info. He worked on my computer three days from 8 am to 2 pm local. I thought he might say "this is too much forget it". He did not and I now have my computer back operational. I would recommend My Computer Works without hesitation.

A scammer inactivated my Windows 10 operating system which made it impossible for me to access my computer, it also inactivated the mouse. I trust My Computer Works explicitly. The first time I got them, I had a virus on my computer and they spent hours fixing it. They helped me buy my new computer, gave me tips on what to do, and put anti-malware stuff on it. Their reps also helped me get a new router when the old router that was given by my service provider wasn't continually doing what it was supposed to do. They do their service remotely so I don't have to carry the computer to a person here. They have a little app on the computer and I'd write in there what needs to be done and send it to them and then it's in a queue. Dealing with their reps have been absolutely marvelous. I also feel educated because they'll answer any question and no question is too stupid. The performance of my computer has been excellent since their service and I'm very satisfied with them overall.

Your computer never leaves your home, the work is done right the first time and at a reasonable price. I would rate them as a AAA company which never tries to sell you something you don't need.

I was hacked and my computer was completely messed up and I couldn't even get online. And so I called Dartmoor and the place I called was out of business. Somebody told me about My Computer Works and said they have four different places and we might want to use one of them. I wrote their number down and called and I talked to a man who took a bit of information and then I talked with a lady who took more and they got me set up to be seen. The technician who came was professional and nice. I was so nervous and he put me at ease. He worked for two hours and put me on a Windows 10 and got the job done. I made oatmeal raisin cookies and I sent him some for his family and it was great.

I received an error message. Called the number on the screen. Talked to a person from overseas and could see he was in my computer. Realized had done a big whoops so called MY COMPUTER WORKS. Talked to Abi and later Matt worked on remotely. Computer is faster and I have more peace of mind with anti-spyware installed.

When I have a computer problem, I don't try to fix it myself. I call My Computer Works and they're always so helpful. The last time, I had to wait longer than my 30 minutes but that was not a problem because I was not that much in a hurry. It hardly ever happens, too. On my last claim which had something to do with my email, the tech was new and I had not used him before but he did exactly what I needed to have done. There's never been an issue that could not be solved. I've got an older computer and I can only make older computers go so fast. And a lot of my issues have to do with my server when it gets bug down. But they always look to check it, to clean it up and to see if there's anything that would be bugging down its speed.

I went online and I found HomeAdvisor who recommended My Computer Works. My first inclination was to call somebody locally and have them come in and fix things but I talked to them and they said they can probably do most of this remotely. I wasn't sure and I was nervous about having somebody do this on the computer and not have somebody come into the house. But they called me and convinced me they were good guys and it really worked out well. There were a lot of viruses on my computers and it slowed down and it was really a mess. I'm not a tech person and I haven't done any updating forever but they went through two of my computers and took care of all those things. They were very polite, very nice and good at explaining things. The guy who did the work was just super patient with an old woman. I have a lot of trust in the company and in the business. I would use them again and I would recommend them to somebody.

My Computer Works has been excellent. Their latest service was about two months ago. I needed the machine to be cleaned out and upgraded. I called them and they talked to me for three minutes, and then they took control of my computer. They repaired what I needed to be repaired. However, they were a bit expensive. Other than that, I'm satisfied with MCW and I would recommend them.

I called My Computer Works about a week and a half ago because I was having trouble with something very simple that I didn’t know how to do. And the tech took care of it quickly. They always go the extra mile and make sure that everything is updated. I have an old computer and it just screwed up and not working right. I have a newer hard drive and the technician from My Computer Works thought maybe it's my Wi-Fi that's giving me problems. I'm in my 80s now so this tech stuff is just way beyond me. But My Computer Works has been really good and I can't praise them high enough. I’d been a customer since the early 2000s, back when I was living in Scottsdale, Arizona. They'll stay on my computer for however long it takes to fix it. Sometimes they'll stay on the computer for about four hours and then call me back the next day and spend another couple of hours on it. They just don’t give up. I pay $34 a month for the service but you're gonna get it back when you do have problems. It would all even out so it’s not a waste of money.

I've had My Computer Works for three years. I always got somebody different that always satisfied my problems but I was learning nothing. One day I talked to somebody and I was told I could request appointments with any of the techs that could understand what I need. So, I found Allan and started working with him. He’s kind, polite and he knew everything. No rushes. I felt comfortable with him. I’ve been working with Allan for a year when he left and I had a new computer uploaded by him. There were a couple of times when I called in and I got the situation taken care of. But this time, what happened was he set up my computer completely and so everything was fine but I turned it off and when I turned it back on, there was a password that was needed. He set it up with my name on it and once I click on it, it will open but would require a password.

I call My Computer Works when I have an issue. The last time I called them, the printer that I have was not printing. I submitted a series of codes. Somebody competent called me back and he took over my computer. I’m not required to stay on the phone because the only phone I have is this cellphone and we’re eating up minutes. They did what they had to do then called me back and the problem had been resolved. The people are very professional. They have the expertise to understand the root cause of a problem and fix it in a reasonable period of time. I am always satisfied with what they’ve done. They go one step further to clean something and if another question arises, it's addressed. They provide the value and they're worth it.

All my special bars that have my Credit Union and Google disappeared and I didn’t know how to get it back so I called My Computer Works and they were very punctual. In fact, they called earlier and in ten minutes, the very nice gentleman fixed it. It’s magic. And when I called them because my computer was running slow, they always explained and they’re very kind and understanding. They laugh at my jokes and they’re good people. I never had a problem.

I've been a customer of My Computer Works for over 4 years now, since I was hacked by Ransomware and went looking for help. At 67 years old and very UNtech savvy, they've been a lifesaver ever since. $39.95/mo. can seem like a big expense when everything's working fine but, when it's NOT, MCW is well worth it.

The machine would not power on. The technician had the knowledge and the tools to diagnose the problem. He had a power supply that could be used to test if the machine would power on with a power supply replacement. He was able to get the machine powered on with his diagnostic power supply. This ruled out a bad switch and bad motherboard.

I was storing too many file in Outlook and the system was freezing up. Tech showed me export archived files out of Outlook on to my hard drive. Working just fine now. My Computer Works always does an outstanding job.

Since my old computer was having issues, I used my cellphone to find a computer repair place near me. The technology of My Computer Works was great but it was the billing I'm concerned about. I've had several troubles with my computer and I paid them about $300 at the beginning of the year for the services and now I'm getting billed every month for it. I've called them several times, and they are supposed to be getting back to me. However, they are great and outstanding, and they're good at what they do. They contact me online and the problem was fixed online. They take over my computer, they fix it and then they give it back to me.

One each and every challenge, they were extremely professional, friendly, and EFFECTIVE when finding my computer/internet/router/modem/printer issues. I have used MCW almost since it's inception in the early 2000s for my PCs. The technicians are extremely knowledgeable, polite and helpful. I call My Computer Works on a weekly basis and sometimes I go for a couple of months. Sometimes they’re overloaded and I could choose the option to leave a voicemail and then they call me back. But 90% of the time I talk to somebody and they put me on the line. I usually get a call within 45 minutes. They also answer calls until 10 o'clock at night. Somebody can be working on my computer at nine o'clock at night and I'm all set up and ready to go.

I was having problem with the emails. I can send them out but not get any back in. I had upgraded from Windows, Outlook 10 to Outlook 16 and I couldn't get it straightened out. It’s very easy working with My Computer Works, once the person from their company signs on, he can manipulate everything he needs to from where he’s at. He was able to get it fixed and synced. One major problem is I lost the address book after he was done working with it and that was not good. But my email works fine now. When I requested help, they contacted me within the day and it was a good experience, I’d recommend them to a friend.

I am writing to tell about my experience with the above named company. My initial experience was less than satisfying so they offered to deep clean my computer for two hours at their expense. I'm satisfied with My Computer Works. They help me when I download software and they clean my computer, too. I usually call them when I need help and wait for a callback. I'd get a confirmation by email and wait for 40 minutes, depending on how they put me on a callback list. They fixed my computer correctly and I don't see the problem anymore but the only problem I'm getting is if I don't turn my laptop on for two days, I get over 190 spams in my junk mail which is out of control. Other than that, they've been excellent.

I have been using My Computer Works for a number of years both for tech support and for back up services and am a true fan. I can call and get a callback within a 1/2 hour and they have been able to handle a broad range of issues on my computer, on external hard drives, on my phone and how each communicate to the other. I have asked about software issues and purchasing, computer upgrades, and sometimes just how to do what turns out to be simple procedures but seemed insurmountable to me. On the occasion that they were not able to address my issues over the phone in one case, they arranged for a tech to come address my problem in person and in another, the tech Brian worked though communicating with Dell in order for them to address the replacement of the motherboard of my computer under warranty when Dell was giving me the runaround.

VERY VERY helpful. Techs called as they indicated they would, and they anticipated my needs even though I didn't know I needed them. I'm very appreciative; could never have done this on my own. They found all of my files - even the very critical ones that I was worried about losing from my old hard drive that basically burned up. I had a virus and they closed my computer down so I called My Computer Works. It took about three times to get things worked out. But I'm sure the tech would call me every time within an hour. They called me back and stayed on the phone sometimes and then went over everything on my computer. It got straightened out but then in a little while it popped up again, so they immediately got to work on it and finally got everything taken care of. Overall, it has been an excellent experience and my computer works faster and better than it had before I had a problem.

We had serious problems with connections, we would type in a site, and "Hmm we are unable to reach that page" would show up. When playing games on Facebook, it would freeze up, and not work. After MCW worked on it, now the computer is working like a new one, with no connection problems at all. We would definitely recommend this company!

I love My Computer Works. I've been dealing with them since 2011 and they're really professional, knowledgeable and always give great service. The techs I've dealt with have also been very nice and helpful. I recently had to have someone do an upgrade to my computer and they updated malware bytes. They also did my annual clean up. When requesting a service, I normally send an email then I go into the queue and they call me. It's a little time consuming when they actually log in and get on my computer which takes about four or five hours. But the performance of my computer becomes 100% after they're done and I'm always pleased with their service.

I transferred all my data from my iMac to my new MacBook Pro and developed problems getting to my mail account and the internet. I contacted "My Computer Works". Described my problems the best I could and the Tech took it from there. He was very professional, located the problems and had them fixed in a very short time. I fully recommend their service.

Our most recent experience with My Computer Works has been very disappointing. I'm only learning the computer stuff last year, so I paid for the premium package from My Computer Works to get help when I need it. I started off with Shaun and he is awesome. He had the patience to deal with me and walk me through the stuff. I could barely type when I started, but I'm two steps above computer-illiterate now. But that's what I paid the money for. I also got some techs who were nice and they think I could be more computer smart. Some of them are savvy and I keep track with them. I never had an issue with getting a help when I needed it.

Whenever I have a problem that I can't solve, I call My Computer Works and they always help me to resolve it. They'd always get back as quickly as I want. Sometimes it takes a while, but they always come back. Their helpers are consistent, reliable, and are good teachers. They stay with the problem until it's solved and we work together. I'm very pleased with My Computer Works and if I have a problem, I feel free to call. My computer works fine most of the time, but once in a while, we update something else because everything in one part fixes the other. But I can always call back and get that fixed.

I kept getting a popup saying something was embedded somewhere, and I'm not a real computer person. The technician said, "Yeah, it wasn't anything that would hurt the computer." It was saying that it was blocking popups, and he just went in, cleaned it up, and said it was A-okay and that was it. Also, I got a call from a non-English speaking somebody telling me that my Yahoo was hacked, that people had been in it from California, Texas, and Florida. When the technician checked it all out this morning, he said it was okay. I usually deal with Phil. He knows my computer inside-out, but everybody has been good, so I can't say anything bad about My Computer Works. I screw it up, they fix it. They’re a good company and they do what they say they’ll do, and I've never had a problem.

The people from My Computer Works are always very efficient and pleasant. They answer my questions and take care of me as if I'm not some kind of idiot, which I am when it comes to computers. I'm a 73-year-old lady who thinks she knows what she's doing and doesn't always, but they always treat me very nicely, very well. They take care of everything I need.

Something has been causing difficulty with my machine since the beginning of the year. Others had tried and put in a good effort but the technician, Matt, from My Computer Works finally found the problem. It was a very subtle problem and there's, apparently, no reason that even a professional would suspect that it created an incompatibility. Matt really knows his stuff and found out what was messing with the plug-ins for an old copier. It's operating properly now.

MCW is an excellent company to provide online support for computers and other devices. Their staff is extremely competent and well-trained. They are patient and never make you feel dumb. They are responsive and follow up to ensure that the problem was solved. Find them quite good and very helpful.

My experience with My Computer Works has always been wonderful. They have efficient, always on the ball, and excellent technicians. I love Matt and Josh. They're two of my favorites. The only thing is there was a little bit of a problem, which we straightened out, but it was the only downside to the whole company. We needed a hard drive, and they were going to send someone. Patricia got me in touch with Andy who seemed not so polished, but he said that he was sending someone from The Bronx. I told him that The Bronx is a little far but if he gets enough of an early start, it's about an hour and a half. I figured I'd wait for him, but he didn't pan out. I missed the day's work waiting for him. So then, Andy said he had a guy named "Rex" and he was going to send him. And then, Rex didn't pan out as well. So, I missed another day of work.

My computer is not communicating with the printer. I've had about six technicians called me and they said it's fixed but the next day it doesn't work again. I'm not happy right now because it's all at a bad time and I'm kind of annoyed. Normally, they fix things right away. They are great and try and do work on the problem.

I am an private user and use my home computer for several personal things. Christie was very helpful and fixed my computer and was very knowledgeable. She was polite and patient with me. I believe she was in Arizona and it was very nice to talk to someone in our United States and she could speak perfect English. After moving and being set up with Google (Gmail) instead of Windows Live Mail, I was unable to make certain things work, which had worked before. The technician, Keith, walked me through the process of allowing him to see and operate my computer screen. He then explained how to do the things I was unable to do on Gmail. He called me back promptly when he had finished setting up some new features/icons, and explained how I could easily contact the company again.

I've had to use My Computer Works many times. One time, I had to call them to find out why my computer is reducing the size of the print and not giving me the full page. Then, the last time, I couldn't get photos out of Dropbox. I'm a realtor and I have to put the pictures in the multiple listing. I called and asked them to help me out and the guy had me going. He asked for the email or how it was sent to me and I got him there. I saw what he did and somehow the pictures came up in my emails that I could then transport to the listing. I still don't know how to get them if the pictures are sent to me like that again. I'm 77 years old and it's a brain strain for me. At no time in my life was my little brain was prepared for what we'd use now to do business but I'm doing pretty well for a gal as old as I am.

When I call My Computer Works, I normally get the recording saying someone will call me back or I can go to a queue. I just call back and make an appointment and they'll call right at the appointment time. The representatives working there are great. They solved every problem I've had. And they even called me back on something that they didn't cover because I was talking to the Billing Department. They gave me a refund on my renewal because they accidentally overcharged me on the initiation fee.

Since changing to Microsoft OS10 my home page has been slow to load and respond. In talking to your tech, he suggested it was Comcast Xfinity that was plugging the loading hence he did not help me that much. Now I am arriving at the same problem, again slow to no loading. Is there an answer to this problem?

We have been very happy with our subscription to My Computer Works. The assistants are patient and stay with me until I have an answer to my problem. Sometimes I need to wait longer than I like, but that is a sign that others like and use MCW as well.

Last month, after working out of state with company computers for a few years, I retired, moved home to Scottsdale and resumed contact with them... My only contact so far was with Matt, who cleaned up my old laptop and installed new security. Had problems with a company who provided me security against viruses, but continued to charge huge amounts of money until I called your company who disconnected the service, did a complete scan, and provided one at a reasonable yearly price without the continual price increases and badgering.

I was glad I had My Computer Works helping to keep my data and help fix a crashing computer. Ran into some problems but I did have a custom computer. My experience has always been great with My Computer Works and they never worry about how long it takes. I've been with them for years now and my issues were always corrected. A friend of mine said I'm wasting money. But I said that if I have a problem, I have a number that I can put right on my computer so I would just look it up and dial it. Normally, sometimes I'll get an operator that says I'll be in the queue. Otherwise, there’ll be a message that I'll be in the queue about an hour, but that's all right. When they come on, then I am there until we are done. They were always very helpful.

I have been using My Computer Works for YEARS! Every time I get a new computer they transfer everything over and get me all set up with what I need. They do automatic updates on my system so if my hard drive crashes they have everything to transfer to a new computer. They help with upgrades, computer purchasing advice and troubleshooting every virus or problem you can think of. They call back usually within 1 hour and spent as long as it takes to handle all of your issues. I HIGHLY recommend them and would not trust anyone else with my privacy or computer systems.

Technician was very friendly and took care of everything. Great Experience. He set up my computer and set it up for backups letting me know that my initial backup will take a while to complete and not to shut my computer down.

When I made the appointment my number in line was 17. Usually that means I had time to do something else. I was called in about 15 minutes. The problem was me. I did not leave the DVD in long enough for the computer to recognize that it was a DVD and to play it. The tech was very understanding.

They are pretty fast getting back to you most of the time. But once they are in they fix the computer fast and fix any other problem showing up while in there. I have been very happy with their service.

I started with the host provider to my website as I was unable to publish after a hacking incident was corrected. They said it was my computer. I worked with the tech for two days and he could not find the issue after much work. We finally contacted the host who had blocked my IP address. The tech and I were both frustrated, as I had asked that initially before contacting you for help. The tech was wonderful, best service I've ever received, and I know customer service as I used to be manager for customer service financial systems for a Fortune 100 company.

My experience with My Computer Works has been good. My computer runs smoother since I've been with them. It's slow because it only has two megabytes of memory, but they've done the best they can. In the past, they have been able to resolve all the issues that I've addressed with them, and most recently, we were trying to solve some problem with another company, and we got it worked out very good. So, they have people that do good work there. But one thing I'm wondering about is the last time I talked with one guy, he made my computer so that when I shut it down, it automatically eliminated any sites I've been on. And now it's back doing like if I press something it will say words similar to the bottom, and that's not what I want.

Keith did a great job of fixing our fax connected to our computer and fixing a problem in our Outlook email, where a send file was stuck and could not send. He reloaded the drivers to the printer and told us how to make some needed changes in the printer. Thanks for the great service.

I'm under contract with My Computer Works' for another eight months and their service has always been great. I'm 82 years old and I'm not that technically confident so they walk me through. They are on my problem right away and they work through it. It's just that they don't solve anything that it keeps coming back. I'm operating on a Windows 10 system and it gets bogged down and slowed down to a crawl to the point where I have to call My Computer Works and get it straightened out. But when we say, "Adios" to each other, three months later, it's back to a crawl again so we haven't solved any problem. They were trying to blame it on ComCast. I have ComCast as my internet and they load up a whole bunch of advertisements, etc. I tried to open it up through Google Chrome and that's a little better, but it ends up being the same as Internet Explorer.

Re-installing Malware & checking PC for issues - Keith called on time and was very polite and professional. He described what he intended doing and why and called back to check in with me about deleting something prior to doing so. He answered all of my questions satisfactorily without using jargon. I was having trouble with my scanner and the guy from My Computer Works worked on it. When he finished, he told me that he reinstalled the Brother software because it wasn't functioning appropriately until he could fix the scanner. The solved it completely and the scanner has worked perfectly ever since. I've used it several occasions since then. I love My Computer Works. I don't think my business could function without them.

People were telling me that they were getting some emails that I hadn’t sent. I was afraid I had been hacked and I needed my computer cleaned so when I found My Computer Works’ ad, I contacted them. They were helpful, they cleaned it and so far, everything’s working fine. I've gotten some emails from them but I haven't had any need for any further help.

I contacted My Computer Works after all my attempts failed to get my Dell laptop display working. After I paid an activation fee, a brief call with their support experts followed and we all determined that fixing the laptop would cost more than purchasing a new one. Following the support call, the business office called and offered a full refund of my paid fees because they had not been able to help or resolve my problem. That never happens so, yes, I highly recommend the company.

My Computer Works was great. I don't need them every month, but once in a while, something happens and they're very good on it. I had a computer virus and they're right there. They’ve done a good job and my computer is working a lot better now. If I have another problem, I'll call them again. They're a very good outfit and are very nice to work with.

I have been using MCW since 2015. Service is performed by professional, techs who are able to resolve difficult computer issues. I originally contacted them due to hacking of my computer through a Facebook page. The "bug" was difficult to find but they devoted hours to finding it and removing it. I now have more protections on my computer that they recommended and also they backup my data everyday (and NOT to the Cloud!!!). Though I'm retired now, I still have MCW as my "Go To" Computer service to support my computer.

It was easy requesting a service from My Computer Works. I've been a customer for seven months now and this is the third time I made an appointment. They called me up and took control of my computer. Then the technician told me first what he was going to do and asked me a couple of questions. I gave him a couple of answers, and then we said goodbye. I was having a problem with the browser, but I no longer have problems with my computer after they fixed it. I’d recommend them.

What a relief to know I have someone to call for assistance rather than bump around the internet looking for someone who has had the same problem. Keith's customer service for me -- a brand new MCW customer -- was excellent. He was cheerful, patient, reassuring, and extremely helpful, always asking me if he could do anything else for me. As I just had an absolutely horrible experience w/ Geeks on Site -- whose customer service is worse than dreadful -- Keith's approach was a very refreshing and encouraging experience for me. I had problems with my iMac dragging and not refreshing, etc. for some time so I called MCW and was explained how the process works. I was skeptical of someone actually fixing the problem over the phone or via remote login but after speaking to the customer service rep who was helping me, I watched him for the first 10 minutes go through simple cleanup steps, etc. I later returned to a phone call telling me to try it out and within 45 minutes, it was working fine, and the problem was actually something that I downloaded thinking it was a software program to help me which I was using for months.

My Computer Works always promptly answers the phone, take my name and number and let me know that a technician will call me asap. They always call within an hour or two. They are very nice people and fix all my computer issues. I recommend!

I could not receive emails with my Microsoft Outlook, would always get a "Send/Receive error" message. It took two technicians from My Computer Works and multiple attempts to correct the problem. After much frustration, it seems the problem is solved. The technician had to research with Microsoft and reset my account from POP to IMAP. Email works now, wife happy.
