    I wanted to take the time to say thank you to My Computer Works. I made a drastic mistake by taking advice from a friend of mine and use a company called Driver Restore. This company came in by remote and totally trashed my desktop and laptop. My Computer Works came in to my computer by remote and spent three hours working on and cleaning my systems to run back to our high efficiency rating and cleaned all of the malware Trojans and everything else that was wrong that Driver Restore had placed there.

    The technician who came in online works very patient concerned and asking if there was anything else he could do to solve my problems. I have to admit I was a little trepidation us about letting someone else come in by remote after my experience with Driver Restore. All I can say is they did a fantastic job on solving my problem with the experience care and getting me back to my job. I can’t say enough about this company.

    My Computer Works is a great company. The cost is about $29 a month, so I’d like to see it go down a little. But the quality of their service is great. And I’ve always called for problems and they’ve always fixed them, so it's a good deal. There’s a considerable delay between my request for service and when the tech calls. But once they call, they take over my computer and fix the problem. They’re professional and all of my experiences have been fine.

    I couldn’t boot my computer and I called My Computer Works to get help. The lady started asking questions and told me it was a problem. They offered me a new product and I told them I couldn’t take it because I was going to buy a new computer. I had to wait until I get another computer to continue my service with them. They’re efficient and they take care of my problems when I call them and I’ve had to call them several times. They set the appointment. We get online and they do what they have to finish and it’s done.

    However, it's difficult if they have to work with me online. I can't contact them and I told the lady that I can't even find their phone number to call them to tell them I’m having a problem. But I like My Computer Works. I like computers and I’m not intimated by them but when it comes to repairs, I tell My Computer Works to talk to me like I’m in the first grade. And they talk in a language that I understand, so that’s one of the things I like about them. I have talked to people about My Computer Works before and told them how pleased I am, but a lot of people don’t like the monthly contract.

    The people at My Computer Works have been very patient. 98 of the techs whom I have worked with out of 100 have been the smartest and the most effective people that I’ve ever met. However, the tech whom I worked with the last time was the least effective. He was very smart but he didn’t know how to do problem solving. He really needs a lot more experience. I don’t think he knew what he was doing because he was running all of the place, or he probably thought I didn’t know what I was doing. He was talking about things that were not even on my computer. We weren’t getting anywhere, but then my power went out all of a sudden. I went later and I couldn’t get it back online.

    My Dropbox was sending me messages that it was approaching the capacity so I called Computer Works to see if we could clear out some of the things that were being stored at Dropbox. A technician contacted me right away and we resolved the issue. We knocked a whole bunch of different albums of photos that didn’t need to be in there and knocked it all the way down to about 10 percent capacity. I rarely get the same technician and it’s usually somebody new and they’re all friendly and very accommodating. Also, everybody in the office is very prompt, courteous and helpful.

    While I had them on the line, we pulled up an Excel program that I needed to modify. I wasn’t sure how to do that so he spent a couple of minutes and took care of that as well. The person I spoke to understood exactly what the problem was and was able to fix it right away. They can use people services from anywhere in the country and so the technicians are sometimes scattered all over the place which is just fine. I have used My Computer Works’ services for eight years now and through several different laptops. They always did a fabulous job. I have had one of my laptops completely shut down. I even took it to Microsoft because it was the first-generation Surface. Their guys looked at it and told me that it was all done and it might be a hunk of wood.

    But I used My Computer Works’ backup service so I bought a new, current generation Surface. Within a couple of hours, after I called them, everything that was on the old computer was on the new computer and I was back up and running. As a realtor, if I can’t access the things that I need to, then I am just sitting and waiting for them to call before I can do anything but that does not come up that often and it’s some little issue that’s more of an inconvenience. I have got the premium service with My Computer Works so if I called in, they guarantee that a technician will call within one hour to take care of the issue. If it’s not within an hour and I call them and tell them that it’s been over an hour and they will knock off the service charge for the following month.

    I took advantage of the service a few times a year because I probably call in every couple of weeks with one little issue and I end up getting a free month out of it. But they might be able to improve the response time that the technicians can get back to us. They don’t call for six hours which is a lot of downtimes. I’d rather have a quick response rather than a free month. Overall, the positives well outweigh any negatives and it’s been consistent for all the years that I’ve been using Computer Works.

    It’s been good with My Computer Works. Instead of me spending hours trying to fix my own problem, I call them, and they fix it right away. It’s worth every dime I pay them and I never had a problem with them over the years. I’ve only had a couple techs who didn’t know what they were doing or answering, but I've had very good success with the other ones. For a while, it was kind of long period before I get called back, but recently I’ve been called back within a decent period of time.

    On Facebook, it keeps telling me every time I want to enter that I have to put in a new password. I have no idea how to even correct that. The technician told me, “We can’t do that. You only have to go to Facebook, just go up to the corner, and just hit the question mark.” There’s no question mark, there’s nothing for me to hit. So I’m still having that problem and I don’t know where to go. I don’t have a phone number for Facebook, but I thought My Computer Works could solve that problem. There was another problem and the technician said they couldn’t do it. I just called back another tech and he fixed it. That’s what I should do with Facebook, but I don’t have time right now.

    I set an appointment with My Computer Works but no one called me. I had to contact them and reschedule for the very next day. It was like they forgot about me and that was not good. I was a little upset because it was at 6:00 PM so I took extra steps to do it. I had scheduled time to be here at my office and I had my dad pick up my kids and stay at home to be with them. That became a waste because nobody called me. My dad is not an expert in taking care of two kids and I don't want to ask him to do something he doesn't have to. That has happened in the past too and I don’t even call My Computer Works that often. I don't know whose fault that is but the tech supports have been excellent once they get me on the phone. They are very knowledgeable, helpful, and nice. But they can do a little better on their response time. If I call once a year, I want to have good service.

    Two months ago, My Computer Works helped me with a problem on my computer. I called their office and a tech called me back within a couple of hours and did the fix remotely. We were on the phone but there is a way that they can get into my computer after I signed them in so they can see what might be going on and because I’m right here, I can see that it’s been fixed. Whoever I talk to in their office has been very pleasant. Their technicians have always been great whether it takes them one hour or three hours. I like their service and I like the way they do it. I'd tell a friend that would ask about them that if they have computer problems, they should have My Computer Works.

    As a realtor, I need my computer so much. I know that there is a free service through the National Association of Realtors but I haven’t tried that yet. The only thing I do know from talking to other people is they will only deal with the primary issue that you call them for. Whereas My Computer Works, if you say, “Hey, I got this problem and this problem and this problem.” They’ll deal with all of those at the same time within the same call. Whereas with the National Association of Realtors, if you tell them you got three problems, they’ll only deal with one right then. You need to call them back to get the other ones taken care of.

    I had a claim with My Computer Works a couple of months ago. They called me back within the hour that they were supposed to. Their technician took care of the problem quickly and I haven’t had a problem since. They told me that when I call and I make them aware that I paid the extra miles, they'd call me back in an hour. They got hold of a technician and told me a technician will be in touch soon. They’ve always been very responsive. I’ve never had a technician that caused me any problem. There's been a virus that I’ve had them take care of or suddenly my computer shuts down and I can’t get it restarted. They always resolve whatever the issue is. It’s been a good experience and I have recommended My Computer Works to other people.

    My Computer Works has people who have always helped me whenever I call them. When I request for service, their rep calls me back and I tell him the problem. They always deal with it. They are very polite and quick. I'm 66, so sometimes, I ask stupid questions and they don't care. One time, my computer kept turning itself off and I had to turn it back on. They went through all the programs I had and any kind of strange ware that showed up, they took it out and then it stopped doing it. It was fixed. Overall, they do a great job and I’m completely satisfied with them.

    My Computer Works have techs that were pretty cool and sharp about some things, but some of them are just more in depth about stuff. The tech I recently had from My Computer Works was good. I asked what if I have a question about something that has nothing to do with like the program and they said that I can call anytime.

    However, most of the time when I call, I don’t get anybody to answer. I have to leave a voicemail then they put me in the queue. It gets pretty busy in that queue sometimes but lately, they’ve been pretty much answering the phone. If it's the tech that I want, then they’ll call me back. There were techs that I preferred over all of them, but they’ve moved up the ladder. Some of them have told me things that helped me out to understand the computer more. Some of them would even tell me and walk me through it, and then I’ll just make my own notes so I don't have to keep calling them back and then I can do it on my own. However, there were a couple of techs before who had an attitude. I was not impressed with them. It was like I was wasting their time, so that discouraged me for a while. I didn’t ask for them again and just move on to somebody else. But other than that, they’ve all been friendly, outgoing and knowledgeable.

    I got My Computer Works through HomeAdvisor and requesting their service was not difficult at all. My issue was I had those inbox "lock up" things that you have to use, the inbox "fix it" tool, which I couldn't find. The gentleman who ended up helping me was very efficient. He found that the inbox repair tool and put the little icon on my desktop so that I wouldn't have trouble finding it again. I couldn't be happier with the help he gave me. I was 100% satisfied and very pleased with the work that was done. I haven't had the same type of issue since and I'm confident that if I do, I just go to that little thing that he put on the desktop for me. I would recommend them.

    A couple of months ago, I talked to My Computer Works about transitioning from my computer to a Mac product and needed to make an appointment. I got a nice voicemail message and I had to leave a message, but I would rather have somebody answer the phone. I've had them for a couple of years and decided that this was not worth it. I was paying a premium service where I could get an hour’s call back and that’s never happened so I fell away from it. I found them one day and thought that I had to go back to them and see if anything has changed. The problem there was that I didn’t get the timing of the service. If I have a problem, I need to hear from somebody within a few hours, but it’s been a few days already. Fortunately, I've only had that maximum frustration twice.

    In the past, My Computer Works has been able to solve the issues that I was having 100%. I’ve had two people there. They were so techie that if I don’t get it right away, they were a little less patient than others. Nevertheless, they were effective in solving the problem as they took over the computer and fixed it. Although, the timing of that solution could improve. I still recommend them even though their response time was not what they promised. I’m a real estate agent who is not a techie, so I’ve had my struggles, and they have been very helpful and very knowledgeable.

    I’m a real estate agent and when I have problems with the computer, My Computer Works' usually something I need to be resolved quickly. I know other people that are in real estate that also use them and I've referred them to a number of people. They have a call center where sometimes my call gets answered and sometimes it goes to a voicemail. Then, I give them my name and they'd have my account number. They have a queue wherein they used to send me an email saying what number I was in the queue. But, I don’t even pay attention to that anymore because I went with their one-hour service.

    Recently, I had a software hiccup which My Computer Works deals with too aside from hardwares. So anything related to the computer, they have people who know how to solve the problem and they always get everything resolved. They have good and competent people. There had been times when it took a time or two but the issue's usually resolved in one session. They are very dependable and reliable and they have different levels of service. It’s worth paying a little bit extra to get the service within the hour and if I have an issue, they stay with it until it’s resolved. I’m happy with them. Otherwise, I wouldn’t be with them for 10 years. Overall, it’s a good enterprise and it’s extremely helpful for me. When I need help right away, they’ve always provided it for me.

    I have a positive experience with My Computer Works and they’re the best. I have a Windows 7 desktop and it’s overheating, and it keeps shutting me off. So, they tried to get that set and told me to put a little fan back there. It’s in a room but there’s no air-conditioning and they said the issue might have been when the desktop got hot, it got hot in the house. I’m trying to transfer to a Windows 10 and I’m afraid to use it but I’m forced to because the 7 keeps bumping me offline. Dave worked on the Windows 10 and he helped me get the printer hooked up. And then they cleaned up the computer and put a Malwarebytes on it. 99% of their staff is very patient and understanding. They’ll go over a couple of times with me to make sure I have it right. I love them. They are professional and always supportive.

    My Computer Works is wonderful and they are always unbelievably helpful. They are a value. If I call them once or twice a year, it's expensive considering that it costs a few cents short of $30 a month. However, when I do need them, requesting service is very easy and there's somebody there to respond. Plus, they're very good at what they do.     Three weeks ago I had some software issues. My Computer Works hooked up and fixed it for me. When my old CPU crashed and I had to buy a new one they also helped me download from the external hard drive that I had to my new PC. Everything’s working fine. I call them and generally I have to set an appointment because they stay busy. And then they will call back within the hour of that appointment time. They have never failed doing that. The techs are very cooperative and they help. I'm satisfied and I feel confident that the problem has been resolved. If any of my friends is having PC problems I would tell them to give My Computer Works a call.

    My Computer Works has been over-the-top in everything. We are illiterate when it comes to a lot of these stuff and they have helped us in so many situations and solved the issue every time. They have helped us change computers, back up stuff and then reload it on a new computer which we've done twice. They are very responsive. They call back in a reasonable amount of time and stick with it until they get it done. It is very easy to request for service. I call their number and if I don't want to wait, I just leave my number and they'll call me back within an hour.

    They do things for us that are not really part of the contract or part of the service and never hesitate. We never had anything they wouldn't deal with. It’s been a very good experience and we’ve been on them for at least five years. The setup and my anti-virus thing are both good. We had issues that we're not capable of dealing with and they took care and cleaned it up. They make recommendations and I trust them because of their experience and they haven't steered me wrong. I've recommended them all the time.

    My computer was real slow and had a bunch of garbage on it. It was an older computer with a 17” screen. It is about eight years old but it's still a good laptop. So, I gave My Computer Works a call to try and get it all cleaned up. When I requested the service, they answered all my questions. They did away with a lot of viruses and a lot of programs that were on there. Their rep told me what to expect and what he was going to do. Each area that he went into, he explained to me why I didn't need it and he explained things that I could do myself in the future. He did a good job and sped the computer up a little bit. It is still slow but it's 100% better than what it was. It was a really good experience. If I needed any service, I'd give them another call.

    My Computer Works is a great service to have. I'd call them to request a service and if nobody picks up, I'd leave a message. They'd call me back and we'd set up a schedule that fits my time. I'd log them into the computer and then I leave. They'd call me when they're done, updating of what they have to do. Their technicians are knowledgeable and if they don't know the answer to something, they'll look it up. Recently, I was having problems with my printer. I needed to replace the ink and the technician and I went over it step-by-step, looking what we could find and then we finally figured it out.

    The CEO reached out to me a couple of weeks ago and I gave him some suggestions on how to make his business better. One more thing that they need to do is, on a periodic basis, to have the technicians reach out to us, go over and check our computer to see if there's anything they need us to know and do. They need the anti-virus turned on on our machine. They need to become more proactive and less reactive. I never got a routine check-up and it was only when I called them. Other than that, they are a great organization and I'm getting my money's worth.

    I have been with My Computer Works from the start. The way I found out about them was when they sent a representative to a business networking group in Arizona. I was in that networking group and then I decided that I needed somebody because I could not figure my computer out but even if I could, I don't want to. That's not what makes me money trying to spend hours working on my computer. So far, I spend $29.95 then I have a $9.95 back up so it's $40 a month. And then I just call in for everything and they are absolutely unbelievable.

    Though the tech themselves have different personalities and they all handle it just a tiny bit different, they are all great. I never had a complaint. They know me since I have been doing this for so long. One time, my computer came on and it has this warning saying call this number or you'll lose. I'm smart enough not to call that number and instead, called Computer Works, so they took care of that. They solved it that day.

    Also, whenever I call, they go in and they check everything on my computer. They take care of it right away and solve everything in a day or less. Overall, I would recommend them to anybody. In fact, I have gifted people six months of service because they said, they just couldn't afford the $29.95. I told them it's a free country and they can decide if that's worth the money for them or not. So far, every one of them has stayed.

    I've been working with My Computer Works for six years now and my experience with them was wonderful. I was having trouble finding my Windows Moviemaker and they helped me find it. Most of the time I love requesting for service. I go on the computer and tell them that I need help. They would send a message saying that they'll get back with me within 60 minutes. But sometimes it takes two or three hours to get a call. I'm paying for a premium they are supposed to call back within one hour and I get perturbed when it takes a long time to finally get back to me. But my interaction with the reps is usually very good and their performance was excellent.

    I have a contract with My Computer Works for about four years and it covers both my computer and my wife's computer. Each time I’ve had any contact with their reps, they were pleasant and helpful. But I am aggravated that I pay $40 monthly which I can understand, but I have to pay $15 on top of that for every half hour every time I call, and that’s why I don’t call. If I am engaged in a lot of exotic things and it's my business computer, I can see that it’s worth it. But I use mine for reading news and email which is just casual use. My wife spends more time on the computer because she does social media, but I don't do any of that, though I do a fair bit of stuff on my phone now. So My Computer Works do a good job but I can find something less expensive and I'm in the process of looking now. It’s not because their service isn't good or responsive, but it costs too much. I'm retired and have to be aware of what I spend.

    I was unable to sync my computer to my wireless printer when I got a new modem. I needed to file tax returns and I couldn't wait so I had to call whoever would come and whoever called me back first got the job.     I check with My Computer Works every three months and they go through everything. They bail me out if I have any problems. They unload anything that’s on there that shouldn’t be on there and they get rid of stuff that I don’t know how to get rid of as far as junk that slows the computer down. They also check all of my files and everything, make sure that there’s nobody trying to get in the back door. Also, if I want to get rid of something or add something, they show me how it works. They show me tricks of how to get to different things. The team easy to work with. Anyone that I’ve dealt with, they didn't try to rush me or anything.     I could not get into my desktop without a password. It was put on by the company where I bought the computer. But it was so long ago that the place where I bought it has changed management and they changed location. When I called, they didn't want to handle it. they can't send somebody out here.     Called on Thursday to schedule an appointment to have a television installed. Spoke with Josh. He assured me they could have a technician out Saturday afternoon, so I took the day off missing out on 12 hours plus of overtime (approx $800). Saturday morning I get a call from their office. She tells me that they do not have a technician in this area and won't have until Monday. She assured me that she would have a technician here between 6:00 and 7:00pm. So again... I left work early today, missing out on even more overtime. Technician is a NO SHOW!!! Called their office, got the long list of BS apologies and excuses then was transferred to another dept where I had to leave a voicemail. Finally received a return call and they tell me the technician was never assigned the call... just more BS excuses! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!

    MyComputerWorks.com is a complete fraud! They have not done a single thing they promised to do. They haven't followed through on ANYTHING! They've cost me close to $1000 in lost wages.     I was scammed one night. I called one place that was located in England, then gave them my credit card and they charge my account. So, I said to myself that it was a scam and I wasn't feeling safe. Then I found My Computer Works, spoke to a woman, and she cleaned up the whole thing. Then we joined them, which was about a year ago and we've been together ever since. Before that, we had a fellow in the neighborhood who did it but he got another job because he wasn't making out with fixing computers and there wasn't enough work for him. And then through the years, we got other people come in. With My Computer Works, when I call them, 15 minutes later someone calls me back. We then sit down, work on it, and then I'm back online.

    Recently, my screen shrunk on me and the toolbar on the bottom was halfway up. I called and spoke to a gentleman named Vincent on the phone but he couldn’t get into my computer because I couldn’t okay it, and the bottom of the screen was blocking it. After about five minutes, we finally got it down then he could log in and worked with me. I’m 77 years old and he was very patient in telling me what to do since computers to me are a new toy and I know nothing about them. But he explained it to me and everything was okay. I’ve learned a few things now by myself and I like the idea when I or Vincent logs in, the screen tells us that My Computer Works has run a test on the computer, it’s nice to see.

    The people that I've dealt with a few times now are very patient, knowledgeable, and wonderful. It's well worth the investment every month, they’ve got service from 8:00 in the morning until 10:00 at night. I jumped too fast the first time but now, I would never jump again because I've got something safe. It's a very positive experience and I’m very satisfied that we joined up.

    My Computer Works told me that changing the hard drive on my computer would take care of all the problems. I talked to eight different people during the course of this thing and the last two people said my computer should never have been upgraded to Windows 10 and that it was the new hard drive that was causing the slew of problems I was getting, so they refunded my money and I bought a new computer.     I stopped the service from My Computer Works because I couldn't get them to call me back on a problem I had. I started August 18th of 2015 and have been paying $39.95 for two solid years and when they didn't return my call, I called the credit card company and told them to stop the payment. I heard nothing from Computer Works. I even sent them an email but they never responded to it.

    We had a trucking company and they lost three years of our drivers' logs when they reinstalled my computer and I couldn’t get those back. They guaranteed they wouldn't lose it, but they did. Every time I talked to somebody, they were always telling me they'd set me up for a 9:00 appointment but they let me wait for their call. I have a business at my home and I couldn't sit for two or three hours for them to call me back. I talked to several people and they all said they can't say a time. Then, they dropped the price to $19.95. I paid them for three months and then I stopped it. Overall, I'm dissatisfied with them and I will never use them again.

The technician did something that it should have worked, but it didn't and you have to pay him upfront. I had to call back. It was like four or five hours before they returned the call. I'm older, and I’m not computer literate. They act like, "You should know all this stuff." Well, I'm sorry. I didn't grow up with computers.

    I called My Computer Works with a very technical problem and as soon as they could take over my computer, everything went perfectly. The tech straightened all the problem out and got the virus out. Everything they have done has been extremely efficient.     My experience with My Computer Works has been very erratic in the past several years. I have seen the service jump from excellent to terrible to fair. My computer was running slow the last time and it was very difficult to reach anybody. They say they’re going to do something but they do not. I have to keep going back since they have a lot of different techs. And just because you call, you don’t get the same person all the time. So if the problem doesn’t get settled the first time, you just have to call back. You just have to keep on trying until you get somebody who can fix it. While communications can be improved and I’ve talked to Luke Ford as recently as three weeks ago about it, they’re still a long way from fixing the problem.

    When computer mysteriously stopped working (no internet, no email, could not access Windows Edge), we tried for 2 days to troubleshoot it. My wife went to Home Advisor and found MCW for solving this problem. I contacted them, they explained how they could help, how long it should take and the cost; a work order was started that evening and work began the next morning. Brian, the MCW Tech, called and asked about my problem. Then explained what he needed from me and what he was going to do and that it would take about 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 hours. Brian was methodical and thorough. He completed his "fix" of my computer in 3 1/2 hours, and it works just great.

    Also, when I asked what might have caused this problem, he explained that I probably did not cause the issue. He said that it was likely caused by a power interruption. We had several lightning bolts nearby when the problem began. Brian suggested a couple of preventative measures to keep this from happening again. I am very pleased with My Computer Works, and Brian, for their technical help and insight.

    I trust My Computer Works explicitly. The first time I got them, I had a virus on my computer and they spent hours fixing it. They helped me buy my new computer, gave me tips on what to do, and put anti-malware stuff on it. Their reps also helped me get a new router when the old router that was given by my service provider wasn't continually doing what it was supposed to do.     I love My Computer Works. My experience with them has been excellent so far. A couple of weeks ago, my computer was taking so long to load up so I called them and they did their thing. Requesting the service was an excellent experience and the scheduling has been phenomenal.     When I have a computer problem, I don't try to fix it myself. I call My Computer Works and they're always so helpful. The last time, I had to wait longer than my 30 minutes but that was not a problem because I was not that much in a hurry. It hardly ever happens, too. On my last claim which had something to do with my email, the tech was new and I had not used him before but he did exactly what I needed to have done. There's never been an issue that could not be solved. I've got an older computer and I can only make older computers go so fast. And a lot of my issues have to do with my server when it gets bug down. But they always look to check it, to clean it up and to see if there's anything that would be bugging down its speed.

    I interact with the reps all the time and I can even ask them something that doesn't apply to what we were doing at that moment. They're always willing to speak to any other concern or issue that I have. Some are a little more friendly and never anything unprofessional but a little easier to talk to than others. I have not had a bad experience with them and if I knew these people in person, I'd like them so much. I get my money's worth and I have recommended them to a lot of friends.

    I went online and I found HomeAdvisor who recommended My Computer Works. My first inclination was to call somebody locally and have them come in and fix things but I talked to them and they said they can probably do most of this remotely. I wasn't sure and I was nervous about having somebody do this on the computer and not have somebody come into the house. But they called me and convinced me they were good guys and it really worked out well. There were a lot of viruses on my computers and it slowed down and it was really a mess.     I have an old computer and it just screwed up and not working right. I have a newer hard drive and the technician from My Computer Works thought maybe it's my Wi-Fi that's giving me problems.     I've had My Computer Works for three years. I always got somebody different that always satisfied my problems but I was learning nothing. One day I talked to somebody and I was told I could request appointments with any of the techs that could understand what I need. So, I found Allan and started working with him. He’s kind, polite and he knew everything. No rushes. I felt comfortable with him. I’ve been working with Allan for a year when he left and I had a new computer uploaded by him. There were a couple of times when I called in and I got the situation taken care of. But this time, what happened was he set up my computer completely and so everything was fine but I turned it off and when I turned it back on, there was a password that was needed. He set it up with my name on it and once I click on it, it will open but would require a password.

    I called My Computer Works and somebody called me back and I told them the problem. They ended up taking care of it for me. I mentioned that it took time and before, they would stay on the line to recheck and make sure everything’s still up to par. And so I spoke with somebody yesterday and then he took care of my problem. It did take a little bit and we were back and forth, trying everything, which we always do. And it was fine and then I mentioned to him about my Allan situation and I asked if he had a schedule so we can start working together and so I’ll know if I’m going to call in the morning or in the afternoon. And he said they have different schedules. He asked if I needed something else and I said no. Actually, my emails need to be checked. I don’t have a lot of free time but I can work it in. The tech was nice and took care of the problem and it’s fine. I now have a password to get into my computer.

    I'm 71 and I only started to use the computer five years ago and I can only do so much, so that’s why I hired My Computer Works. I have a computer tech company that is included in the dues that we pay every year $500 through the Real Estate department and they take care of problems but I don’t use them. Also, they’re only 8:00 to 5:00 and then none on the weekend so it’s better to stay with My Computer Works whom I can call anytime. I also want more of a one-on-one and somebody who knows my computer and can explain so I can learn what’s going on. Even if I don’t get the tech that I was working with, if I have an emergency on a weekend, I can still call.

    All my special bars that have my Credit Union and Google disappeared and I didn’t know how to get it back so I called My Computer Works and they were very punctual. I have an icon when I turn my machine on that they’re there. I push the button and they walk me through it when I have the technician on the line. I get right to them and they take over the computer. I can show them what my problem is and they fix it. I love them and my computer runs like a champ.

    I call My Computer Works on a weekly basis and sometimes I go for a couple of months. Sometimes they’re overloaded and I could choose the option to leave a voicemail and then they call me back. But 90% of the time I talk to somebody and they put me on the line. I usually get a call within 45 minutes. They also answer calls until 10 o'clock at night. Somebody can be working on my computer at nine o'clock at night and I'm all set up and ready to go.

    My issues have always been solved. Computers change and programs change and all of a sudden I have a program that won’t work anymore. Seven years ago, my hard drive crashed and thankfully, they backed up my computer as well. Once I got a new hard drive, they put everything back in and got me back up and running. They still back me up on a daily basis and they answer my questions and explain what they’re doing. Sometimes, if I want to hang on the phone and watch, they tell me they'll call me back 'cause it's lengthy. But sometimes it takes 10 minutes and that's fine to hang on the phone with them. Overall, they're super guys to work with and they do a good job. I'm glad that they're around because trying to do business and be on the computer is one thing and that can be daunting enough sometimes.

    I was having problem with the emails. I can send them out but not get any back in. I had upgraded from Windows, Outlook 10 to Outlook 16 and I couldn't get it straightened out. It’s very easy working with My Computer Works, once the person from their company signs on, he can manipulate everything he needs to from where he’s at. He was able to get it fixed and synced. One major problem is I lost the address book after he was done working with it and that was not good. But my email works fine now.     I'm satisfied with My Computer Works. They help me when I download software and they clean my computer, too. I usually call them when I need help and wait for a callback. I'd get a confirmation by email and wait for 40 minutes, depending on how they put me on a callback list.     I have been using My Computer Works for a number of years both for tech support and for back up services and am a true fan. I can call and get a callback within a 1/2 hour and they have been able to handle a broad range of issues on my computer, on external hard drives, on my phone and how each communicate to the other. I have asked about software issues and purchasing, computer upgrades, and sometimes just how to do what turns out to be simple procedures but seemed insurmountable to me. On the occasion that they were not able to address my issues over the phone in one case, they arranged for a tech to come address my problem in person and in another, the tech Brian worked though communicating with Dell in order for them to address the replacement of the motherboard of my computer under warranty when Dell was giving me the runaround.

    I would say that 99% of the techs I have talked to over the years have been personable, respectful and never made me feel like I was foolish which I am sure on occasion I was. I love that they are available nearly every day (with some holiday exceptions) from first thing in the morning to late into the evening.     I had a virus and they closed my computer down so I called My Computer Works. It took about three times to get things worked out. But I'm sure the tech would call me every time within an hour. They called me back and stayed on the phone sometimes and then went over everything on my computer. It got straightened out but then in a little while it popped up again, so they immediately got to work on it and finally got everything taken care of.     I love My Computer Works. I've been dealing with them since 2011 and they're really professional, knowledgeable and always give great service.     Our most recent experience with My Computer Works has been very disappointing. I'm only learning the computer stuff last year, so I paid for the premium package from My Computer Works to get help when I need it. I started off with Shaun and he is awesome. He had the patience to deal with me and walk me through the stuff. I could barely type when I started, but I'm two steps above computer-illiterate now. But that's what I paid the money for. I also got some techs who were nice and they think I could be more computer smart. Some of them are savvy and I keep track with them. I never had an issue with getting a help when I needed it.

    However for the last couple of times, they were supposed to get back to me within an hour, but it took them hours, if not, almost a day later before someone gets a hold of me, although I did have a couple of decent reps. But then I had the same issue on the last rep. We're foster parents and I have to do paperwork for the state, so I put it in a request for assistance in the morning and then they said that someone will get back to me within 60 minutes on the queue. But then at around 2:30 or 3:00, we had to call them because I had to pick up the kids that afternoon before someone finally contacted me.

    My wife told them to call in an hour when I come back. Then I told them that they could get a hold of me at 4:00, but still nothing. They called at 5 o'clock, when I was cooking supper, with a houseful of kids and that chaos. So I told them to call me back in five minutes to get my supper down and have my wife take care of the kids. A half-hour later, I finally get a call back and it took them longer to log in to my computer than it did to help me with my problem. I got a call that Sunday and I told them that I've been using them for two years and I've had great service until this last six months or so. If they are not busy, then they don't have the manpower to cover it and they need to do something because I'm about ready to find somebody else. I did talk to a tech on Sunday, but I never heard anything back from anyone else, from higher up the chain as to my dissatisfaction.

    As for my computer, it works great almost every time after I get a tech, especially with my tech, Shaun. They go through and clean it all up. When I had another issue with the malware, a tech called me up and said I needed to renew my three computers for $40 a month. But, when they called or we got it set up to do a tower, they changed it to 40 bucks per computer. Well, Trish and I worked it out. But since I am a preferred customer, my issue is about where I put in a request and it tells me someone can get a hold of me in 60 minutes. I was a service technician for 17 years so I know the meaning of giving customer service and I'm a little fuzzy since I know the kind of service I am expecting and looking for. But they do great work. If I get a tech who can't quite help us, they'll get someone else to get back to me who knows more about it.

    I kept getting a popup saying something was embedded somewhere, and I'm not a real computer person. The technician said, "Yeah, it wasn't anything that would hurt the computer." It was saying that it was blocking popups, and he just went in, cleaned it up, and said it was A-okay and that was it. Also, I got a call from a non-English speaking somebody telling me that my Yahoo was hacked, that people had been in it from California, Texas, and Florida.     The people from My Computer Works are always very efficient and pleasant. They answer my questions and take care of me as if I'm not some kind of idiot, which I am when it comes to computers. I'm a 73-year-old lady who thinks she knows what she's doing and doesn't always, but they always treat me very nicely, very well. They take care of everything I need.

    Most of the time, usually, I call and get queued in, and then I'll check the email to see where I am in the queue. When they call me, no matter what I'm doing, I always answer and log them onto the computer and let them do their thing. They are just very helpful. They do what they need to do. Whatever the problem was, it had been fixed. I like the fact that I do not have to wait on the line while they do whatever they're doing. I have turned a friend onto it. I got an email from her last night that said, "Having computer trouble. Email you later." She emailed me at 7:00 o'clock this morning, so she must have gotten it fixed.

    Sometimes, they do stuff that I didn't know I needed to have done. A couple of them have even said, "You know, you don't really need this here. How about trying this?" And I said, "Okay." Also, because I forgot what my homepage was and the technician said, "You know, that's really not secure. Why don't you do Google Chrome?" I said, "Does that mean I have to change all my favorites?" He goes, "No. I'll do it for you." He did everything, and then told me how to add something, if I needed to. It's the best money I spend every month, even if I don't use it every month.

    Something has been causing difficulty with my machine since the beginning of the year. Others had tried and put in a good effort but the technician, Matt, from My Computer Works finally found the problem. It was a very subtle problem and there's, apparently, no reason that even a professional would suspect that it created an incompatibility. Matt really knows his stuff and found out what was messing with the plug-ins for an old copier. It's operating properly now.

    One thing I'll suggest is for their marketing and creative people to come up with a plan to enhance security. People, in general, are very worried about invasion of their privacy online and and people on my level of knowledge want to enhance security but don't know how. Some of the things that can enhance security slow things down. We would benefit by knowing specifically what we need to do in order to keep the government out of our online activities. It might come down to buying a much better computer with a much faster processor so that you can run Tor. But overall, My Computer Works' people are all very good. I have recommended them and I've posted the link to people who wrote on Facebook about their difficulties with computers.

    My experience with My Computer Works has always been wonderful. They have efficient, always on the ball, and excellent technicians. I love Matt and Josh. They're two of my favorites. The only thing is there was a little bit of a problem, which we straightened out, but it was the only downside to the whole company. We needed a hard drive, and they were going to send someone. Patricia got me in touch with Andy who seemed not so polished, but he said that he was sending someone from The Bronx. I told him that The Bronx is a little far but if he gets enough of an early start, it's about an hour and a half. I figured I'd wait for him, but he didn't pan out. I missed the day's work waiting for him. So then, Andy said he had a guy named "Rex" and he was going to send him. And then, Rex didn't pan out as well. So, I missed another day of work.

    Andy didn't follow up with calling me back and letting me know who's on first, second or third. So, I was being persistent and I finally called back. Two techs failed so I asked if there was a problem. Andy then got on the ball right then and said, "Well, I'll send someone right this minute." It was at night time, and within a short span of time, Sam came. He was a very nice man. He came and worked late and he even came back the next morning because he was running late at night. He was really good. It all kind of worked itself out.

    The matter was dismissed with Andy, just not really knowing what to say. He was a nice guy, but he wasn't too good at rapport. So, rather than get mad, I just said to him, "If I can get a discount, I'd appreciate it." They gave me a discount because I lost two days of work and I am a good customer, and they were courteous enough to do that. All in all, the pros outweigh the cons. I totally rely on My Computer Works. It's the best security in the world, not having to go to a repair shop and having to call them up and I've never had any problem with any of them not working their butt a lot to deliver in through. I love them and I would recommend them to anyone.

    I've had to use My Computer Works many times. One time, I had to call them to find out why my computer is reducing the size of the print and not giving me the full page. Then, the last time, I couldn't get photos out of Dropbox. I'm a realtor and I have to put the pictures in the multiple listing. I called and asked them to help me out and the guy had me going. He asked for the email or how it was sent to me and I got him there. I saw what he did and somehow the pictures came up in my emails that I could then transport to the listing. I still don't know how to get them if the pictures are sent to me like that again. I'm 77 years old and it's a brain strain for me.     When I call My Computer Works, I normally get the recording saying someone will call me back or I can go to a queue. I just call back and make an appointment and they'll call right at the appointment time. The representatives working there are great. They solved every problem I've had. And they even called me back on something that they didn't cover because I was talking to the Billing Department. They gave me a refund on my renewal because they accidentally overcharged me on the initiation fee.

    I have seven computers and they work on two of them. There was one incident when the weirdest thing happened to one of my computers. I unplugged two phone cords from a computer I rarely used and is not turned on. When I picked up the phone, there's no dial tone. I plugged the cords back in and I got a dial tone back. So my phone is plugged into a non-powered computer that is sitting there and is acting as a bridge. My Computer Works didn’t have to call me back on it but they did. Also, I found out that the printers they make today suck compared to the printers that they made eight years ago. The imaging qualities have changed. Kristy went through my computer and helped with resolution and found out that there was nothing that could be done to change the image quality.

    My Computer Works is the only ones that I allowed to work remotely on my computer. Even though they have my passwords, I change my passwords every 45 days. These guys are really good. They're legit. I've had so many experiences because I've been dealing with a computer-based business with my company for over 20 years. I can call them every day if I want and they'll call me back. That is worlds above where we used to be in solving problems with computers.

    Another thing is, I get to talk to a live person. If computer A is not working, I'll go to Computer B and I'll finish the project over there. Then I'll call My Computer Works and tell them what's going on with A. Then they would call back and say that they went through everything and it's fixed. I turn it on and it works. Sometimes I watch what they do and work on it. It gives me a better understanding of what is going on within the system.

    I've recommended them to a bunch of people. Before I give up My Computer Works, I'd drop off my lawn service, then I'd drop off my pool service. And then, cut off cable TV. My business has to have computers to make it run. When something bad happens it's really cool to be able to say, "Okay. Call the guys up and just wait for an hour." And the next thing I know, I'm back to work. My Computer Works is a good firm and they understand my problem.

    My experience has always been great with My Computer Works and they never worry about how long it takes. I've been with them for years now and my issues were always corrected. A friend of mine said I'm wasting money. But I said that if I have a problem, I have a number that I can put right on my computer so I would just look it up and dial it. Normally, sometimes I'll get an operator that says I'll be in the queue. Otherwise, there’ll be a message that I'll be in the queue about an hour, but that's all right. When they come on, then I am there until we are done. They were always very helpful.

    They'll fix whatever that is needed to fix, they would run through a check at the computer, and I feel that they honestly care. I tell them I am not computer-literate and so it changes the way they address the problem. If they tell me to do something, I would tell them that I don't know what they're talking about and they will guide me through it. I call it "idiot level," but that's what I need and they make me feel comfortable. Then on occasion, I ask for a supervisor to compliment someone who worked with me and I have never had a bad experience with them.

    My most recent issue was that I was having some problems with my router. I had trouble with Verizon, and My Computer Works helped me with that. Verizon decided that I needed a new router so I put that on and I called My Computer Works about it. They were on Verizon, not me, and we got it taken care of so I have no complaints at all. I am happy with My Computer Works.

    My experience with My Computer Works has been good. My computer runs smoother since I've been with them. It's slow because it only has two megabytes of memory, but they've done the best they can. In the past, they have been able to resolve all the issues that I've addressed with them, and most recently, we were trying to solve some problem with another company, and we got it worked out very good. So, they have people that do good work there. But one thing I'm wondering about is the last time I talked with one guy, he made my computer so that when I shut it down, it automatically eliminated any sites I've been on. And now it's back doing like if I press something it will say words similar to the bottom, and that's not what I want.

    I'm under contract with My Computer Works' for another eight months and their service has always been great. I'm 82 years old and I'm not that technically confident so they walk me through. They are on my problem right away and they work through it. It's just that they don't solve anything that it keeps coming back. I'm operating on a Windows 10 system and it gets bogged down and slowed down to a crawl to the point where I have to call My Computer Works and get it straightened out. But when we say, "Adios" to each other, three months later, it's back to a crawl again so we haven't solved any problem. They were trying to blame it on ComCast. I have ComCast as my internet and they load up a whole bunch of advertisements, etc. I tried to open it up through Google Chrome and that's a little better, but it ends up being the same as Internet Explorer.

    I had problems with my iMac dragging and not refreshing, etc. for some time so I called MCW and was explained how the process works.     I like My Computer Works. I tell people they're worth the money. I appreciate all the integrity that I experience with the company.
