Trinity Solar costs

Trinity Solar does not publish standard pricing because system costs depend on factors like home size, energy usage, roof condition and location. Quotes are provided after a consultation.

The company offers multiple payment options, including solar loans, power purchase agreements (PPAs) or leases (where available) and full system purchases. Monthly costs and savings vary based on the structure of the agreement and local incentives.

Trinity Solar warranty and coverage

Trinity Solar systems typically include manufacturer warranties for equipment as well as a workmanship warranty for installation. Coverage details can vary depending on the specific equipment and agreement, so review your contract carefully.

Solar panels generally come with a manufacturer warranty of 20 to 25 years, which covers defects and performance. Inverters, which convert solar energy into usable electricity, may have warranties ranging from 10 to 25 years depending on the brand. Trinity Solar also provides a workmanship warranty that covers installation-related issues for a set period.

Some systems may include production or performance guarantees, depending on the financing option or equipment used. Because warranty terms can differ, homeowners should confirm what is included, how long coverage lasts, and who to contact for service or claims.

Salesperson was great. System has been good. Their customer support is terrible. I have a connection issue which they will not address and pushed me off on solar edge (app) but want to charge me to come out to connect it for $125.00 an hour. After spending over $30k on a system, now they don’t want to help.

We had solar panel installed. First was told they would go on the garage. My husband said that he was told that the roof on our house was different from the garage and that it might not be able to have the panels put on. I refused to get a new roof because when I asked how much for a new roof, it was too high. We was told that the roof would be inspected and was not told the results.

When they came out to install the panel, they had a paper which had the places that the panels would go. Only my husband saw it. So there were panels on the garage and the roof. Was not happy because I didn’t know if my roof was not good enough for the panels. Salesman said that we are covered if something happens with the roof. I was also not happy that I was billed with the electric company and solar. I was paying two hundred and something most times with my electric bill, and was told that would be what I would be paying. I always thought that solar is supposed to lower your bill, not make it higher.

On March 31 taken out of my account over four hundred dollars. Was not told that I would be double-billed. I kept asking why will my bill go up every year, and was told that electricity will go up. Salesman said that it will get better. Said I was upset because I got double billed and he is right. I was not expecting it from the electric company and the solar company. Praying that it will get better. I have always tried to control what I turn on in my house so that my bills will not be so high. Not a good experience with solar so far, but praying that it will get better for us.

Awful Company! They say to refer a friend and you will get 1,000 dollars the first time ... Then the 2nd time $2,000. They give you a sign to advertise. We were the first to get solar in our area. We put the sign out and the family that moved in behind us... Came over to our advertisement... Wrote the number down and got solar installed. Trinity refuses to give me My $. Needless to say... I will no longer be giving free advertisement and the Attorney General's office will be called! I am that mad that I may have them even take my solar down! Trinity Solar are liars! Beware!!!! Do not advertise for them! They claim their company is word of mouth and from others helping with referring and advertising but it is an absolute lie!

My system has been turned on for 7 months and we love it! Our solar consultant, Evelyn Lomas, was fantastic. Since being turned on she's also analyzed my PSEG 2xs to help me better understand and refer others to her and Trinity! I highly recommend contacting her if you're interested in cheaper energy.

We've had our system installed for about 22 months now. When we inquired about a photovoltaic system, and the salesman did his calculations to determine how many panels we'd need, we were told that if it turned out that the system did not cover our electricity usage, we could simply add panels. That sounded great, but it was NOT TRUE. We do not in fact generate enough power needed to run our house, so now we pay Trinity (SunRun) and Eversource monthly payments. Our usage has not increased since the calculations were performed, no added EV Chargers or anything that could caused our usage to increase. What they did tell me when I inquired about adding panels was that I could have a second system created and installed! That meant more meters on the front of my home, so we decided to just deal with it. If we could start over again, if we went back in time, we would not have moved forward with the solar photovoltaic system.

I went with Trinity Solar because 2 of my coworkers had positive experiences. It has been a nightmare since I agreed to go Solar. I have had little to no communication from Trinity Solar or the 'lending company' Sunnova since the system went on my house. The solar generation HAS NOT decreased my electric bill. The system does not work as promised and the battery back-up is a band-aid, not a solution. I was told my payments would be lower if I signed over the rebate to Sunnova BUT based on finances and personal deductions, I wasn't eligible for full rebate in 1 year. I believe in Solar but this is a scam. I will give details to anyone if you want to contact me ** is my email. Search Jesse Watters for Sunnova review. If I can keep 1 person from dealing with the headaches I am experiencing, I'll be happy.

I have had them For 4 years now and glad I made the choice. My electric bill has only gone up 12 bucks in 4 years when it would have gone up 100 plus if I still used power from The utility. Because of this my family has been able to Be protected long term and it is not something I have to worry about.

Salesman came to my house. Was disrespectful to everyone, then tried to fight me in my garage when I told him to leave. I asked to see the contract and he denied me visualizing it. I told him I wouldn't sign without seeing a contract and he told me don't waste his time if I'm not going to sign. Now I get messages regularly asking to remove my review.
