    Purchased a bottle of perfume from Neiman Marcus online. What I received was a oversized box with stuffing and a few samples, called customer service. They said I would receive a refund or another bottle of perfume. Received nothing. Called again they said there's nothing I can do because the weight of the perfume correspond with the shipping. So customer service basically told me I'm a thief. They've got some real problems in their shipping department. If I would have read the reviews, I would have never have purchased anything online from Neiman Marcus. Buyer beware. Why do they even have customer service if nothing gets resolved?

    I bought a very expensive item. I have send it back and they have the proofs with their fedex label and is lost but they not refunding me and neither helping me and is ridiculous, I call this a FRAIUD… They are stealing people's money, holding on to my money and not helping with the lost and the refund through fedex, I will never buy anything from Neiman Marcus again! I need to speak with my attorney now, BIG TIME FRAUD ….

    I’m extremely disappointed with Neiman Marcus and their rigid return policy. I received a luxury fragrance as a gift from their store, but unfortunately, it wasn’t a scent I could wear. When I attempted to return it — still in the original packaging, with only one spray used — I was told it was not eligible for return or exchange simply because it had been sprayed once. This policy makes no sense, especially considering that fragrances are often gifted and it’s impossible to know if someone will like the scent without trying it. One spray to test the fragrance shouldn’t disqualify an item from being returned, especially at this price point!

    For a brand that markets itself as high-end and customer-focused, this experience was both frustrating and disappointing. I expected more flexibility and better customer service (was hung up on 2x) from Neiman Marcus. I won’t be shopping here again, and I’ll be advising others to think twice before buying gifts — especially fragrances — from them.

    I returned an expensive item to them using their fedex label. Package was lost. I spoke to a supervisor and provided them with the receipt that the package was dropped off at fedex. The supervisor ignored me and kept me holding on to the line. I spend over 5 hours to take care of this with no resolution. They don't help customers. I ended up disputing the amount. Neiman Marcus customer service sucks. I would never buy from them again.

    I ordered a Marc Jacobs bucket bag on sale for $230. After waiting days for my package to arrive I received Shampoo. Customer Service was rude and unprofessional. Told me I had to send the Shampoo back before they could process my return or even send me what I ordered. That would take 7-14 days for processing. NEVER will I spend money with this company again.

    I made a purchase from Neiman Marcus earlier this year specifically because of a promotional gift card offer — and never received the card, any instructions, or even a notification that it had been issued. By the time I followed up, I was told it had expired and that the 30-day reissue window had passed — something I had absolutely no idea about, since I never received the original email to begin with.

    I called customer service just trying to confirm whether the email was actually sent or if it had somehow been overlooked. What I got instead was an unacceptable and unprofessional experience, especially with Jenny in the gift card department, who accused me of not understanding how email works and implied I had settings that automatically delete messages (I do not). I work in a customer-facing role myself and found her tone condescending and dismissive — the kind of attitude that escalates rather than resolves.

    When I politely asked to speak to someone else, I was told “no,” and that her team of 15 was “the best of the best” and would all say the same thing. That level of defensiveness — rather than listening — was shocking coming from a luxury retailer. I did call back and spoke to other reps who were respectful and professional, but ultimately the answer I received was: “It is what it is.” No resolution, no willingness to look deeper, and no option to escalate to someone who could actually help. I’m not someone who writes reviews often, but the combination of poor communication and outright rude service — especially from someone representing the gift card department — was enough for me to speak up. Neiman Marcus can and should do better.

    Never shop from this company. I ordered 1 $148 bottle of perfume for my wife's birthday on-line. In the process of ordering, after all the info was put in, the site froze. I rebooted the site and went to my account, and it showed no pending orders. So I ordered again, this time it seemed to work. I went to the pending orders and to my horror saw 2 orders. I immediately called the company to cancel. I was told I was too late to cancel and to return one when I got it. I did that, and a month later had the perfume returned to me as "Not returnable." It was unopened and still wrapped in plastic. This is not a reputable way to do business..

    As a long-time and loyal customer of Neiman Marcus, this is not the kind of review I ever wanted to leave—but I feel it is necessary to share my recent experience in the hope that the company will take this feedback seriously and improve its customer service and return process. On May 14, 2025, I received a Prada MP Denim Bucket Hat (Size M) that I ordered online from Neiman Marcus. While the same item was available at Saks Fifth Avenue, Prada, and other retailers, I deliberately chose Neiman Marcus out of loyalty and long-standing trust. However, upon opening the package, I was extremely disappointed. The actual product did not match the image shown on the website—the denim looked faded and dirty, resembling an old rag cleaned with grime and oil. It was certainly not worth the $856.61 (including tax) I paid.

    That same day, I took the hat to a Neiman Marcus store to return it, only to be told the return had to go back to the vendor, Prada, and could not be processed in-store. I immediately contacted customer service and was told I’d receive a FedEx return label—but after multiple calls and four days of waiting, I still received nothing. Eventually, I was advised to use the return label that came with the product and ship it back via UPS, which I did on May 18, 2025.

    The tracking shows Prada received the item on May 27, yet as of June 5, 2025, I still have not received my refund. I’ve called customer service numerous times, and each time I’m told to wait a few more days. Not only has this been a nightmare, but I also have to explain my situation from scratch every single time I call—there’s no continuity or care.

    I do not write negative reviews lightly. I generally avoid returns unless absolutely necessary due to poor product quality or misrepresentation—but this experience has been extremely stressful and time-consuming. I love Neiman Marcus and want to continue shopping with the brand, but this process has left me frustrated and deeply disappointed.

    My requests:

    Please process my refund of $856.61 immediately.
    Reevaluate the return policy, especially allowing in-store returns for items fulfilled by vendors.
    Improve internal communication so customers don’t have to repeat their situation over and over.

    Provide more accountability and consistency in handling returns and customer concerns.

    I hope this review serves as constructive feedback for Neiman Marcus to improve. I sincerely want to continue being a loyal customer, but this experience has shaken my confidence.

    If I could give them less than zero stars, I would. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. None of the issues I raised were properly addressed—they just kept blaming everything on their “internal process.” Instead of helping, they pointed fingers at the customer. I encountered poor treatment both at the local store and through corporate. We won’t be doing any business with them again. I strongly encourage others to be cautious before dealing with this company.

    NEIMAN MARCUS has discriminated me and profiled me when I went in the store to make a return. The cashier just grabbed my item barely acknowledged me and processed my return, when I asked about my refund she said I’ll get it in the form of payment I made. I said I paid with $100 with gift card and rest in credit card which I had earned as reward/promotion for purchase made prior month before. Cashier said, "You’ll get refund in form of payment made." I found odd but did not want to question her again and complied. This was right before Christmas 2024. I am still waiting for my refund.

    First when I contacted them, they said they will Mail me a gift card in 2-4 weeks.. That didn’t happen. I contacted them again, they said they were sending me a check.. That never happened. Lastly they said my address was incorrect, funnier they said my address was missing a dash and therefore it must have been a mail issue. I am still waiting. NEIMAN Marcus management has not even contacted me. 0 stars but I had no choice I had to highlight at least one star.

    Neiman Marcus is not a high-end store and I wish I had known about their 30-day return policy on all merchandise. However, NM will make a one-time courtesy only if you are lucky to get through to a supervisor. I regretted ever being an account holder with NM. What happened to an invoice accompanied with your merchandise stating 30 DAYS RETURN POLICY? The rep I spoke with was reading a script and repenting the same over and over. I am disappointed with NM and I wouldn't be surprised if the store is going out of business. Oh well, I am stuck with merchandise that is useless 🙃 A hard lesson learned 😅

    I have been a loyal customer to Neiman Marcus for over 20 years. I will NEVER PURCHASE AGAIN FROM NEIMAN MARCUS. FIRST, I ordered two luxury pins/brooches for my Mom and my Aunt. These were to be Easter gifts. These were both purchased on 3/3/25. Second, nowhere in writing on the online purchase did the item say that it would not be shipped until 3/31/2025. Third, the first luxury item from Neiman arrived in a trash looking box, no tissue, no item box….Just like an item from a cheap amazon purchase. Now…we all know Neiman means, care of goods and presentation…Well not anymore. The customer care is indicative of the trash shipping/prep.

    Fourth, my aunt has still not received her gift. After calling over 5 times and talking to a supervisor…I was told that it was not their fault. It could possibly ship on 3/31/25 or whenever because it was from a third party! Not a problem of Neiman Marcus….Basically just my own stupidity not knowing the fraud they now practice. Both pins represented a special time in my childhood when my mom and aunt always treated me with special gifts. Neiman Marcus is no longer special...Nor is the value of the products.

    I ordered a Strathberry mini tote in grained calf skin, as that’s the only option on the Neiman Marcus website. My order came today and they sent the bag in lizard. It looks used and gross. The lizard skin texture of the bag has strange marks and lines in the leather, the hardware is scratched. This “lizard tote” isn’t even sold on their website, but other websites sell it for cheaper than I had paid for - because this is not the bag I ordered. When I contacted customer service, they told me my only option was to return it for a refund and then repurchase the item - however they can not guarantee that the correct item will be sent next time either. This isn’t a shirt or candy. This is a luxury leather good. Why can’t they guarantee I will receive what I already paid for?

    If you see other reviews, this is quite common that they’ll send the wrong item, or used and damaged items. They will also claim people didn’t return their items within the timeframe and refuse giving money back when the issue is they give you a prepaid label for the cheapest slowest shipping. Neiman Marcus is running a scam and making a ton of money from people who think they are purchasing luxury goods. I’ve seen many reviews on Reddit and TikTok where people received counterfeit items like Tom Ford shoes or Loewe bags. These are all things retailing over 1k.

    Separately, the last time I dealt with a store employee over the phone to assist my mom with an exchange of a Moncler jacket I gifted her, the store employee couldn’t figure out how to give me a refund to purchase the item we were exchanging it for. She would call me to ask me to hold, then start yelling at me on the phone (when I didn’t even say anything to incite or provoke any kind of response - I was just waiting for her to figure out the return process) and she also hung up on me multiple times without any word, wasting my time and annoying everyone. The return process alone took over an hour. Neiman Marcus are scammers. Your employees are disrespectful and a disgrace to luxury brands, and the customer service is nonexistent.

    I am a decades-long customer of Neiman Marcus and have just decided never to again purchase from them online. They now use CapitalOne as their credit card financing partner and if you have to return something via mail the process is convoluted with hidden fees. I called to make sure I was doing everything properly and spent over an hour being transferred between NM and CapitalOne customer service. I was told by CapitalOne that even though I had already started the return process through the mail, I would need to pay the minimum on my credit card for the purchase. And, it would take up to two weeks or more for the return to be processed at which point I would have to call back (spend another hour on the phone) and request a refund check be mailed to me (which would take at least another ten days).

    When I called, I was told I wouldn't get the full refund given that NM would charge me a fee for returning by mail (I wasn't told that the first time I called). I then called the NM complaint department and was told something completely different, but that I actually was being refunded less because of the original shipping costs. This is insane! They don't even give you free shipping for returns. I had to pay another $14 on top of everything to send the item back! The net is, they cost me $29 in lost shipping fees and some phony return charge. The one thing both CapitalOne (I'm also a customer of theirs!) and NM agreed on, is that I was at fault for the confusion and should have known about the costs. THIS IS A CAUTIONARY TALE -- do not order from Neiman Marcus online! Adding insult to injury, I paid extra to have the item express shipped, and it didn't arrive in the time they said it would. I wish I had read the other reviews on them before ordering online.

    Purchased a dress. Arrived late. Shipped back return. They claim tag was missing. Box was opened to put in return lable. Never refunded me my money. Claims they shipped it back. Never recieved.     I am writing to express my profound disappointment with Neiman Marcus's customer service regarding a dress ordered for a special event. From January 27th, I experienced multiple disconnections—three times, to be exact—when attempting to inquire about my order. I was met with a dismissive attitude. Throughout this ordeal, no one demonstrated empathy or provided a reasonable explanation or process for investigating my missing package; the concept of an investigation was only mentioned in today's conversation. This experience has left me utterly disgusted, relegating Neiman Marcus to an unreliable category for services they were once celebrated for. I demand an immediate refund, processed with the same urgency with which the funds were taken from my credit card. How will Neiman Marcus intend to address this issue to provide a satisfactory resolution?

    I had a suit Zegna, milano. The pants was looking old and I wanna purchase a new one. But they told me that I can not buy separately. So, I had to purchased a suit from Neiman Marcus internet site. Suit came to the store. They let me know and made alterations. When it’s ready they called me. When I went to the home I was surprised because that was not same style and not same for the older one.

    I called them a lot of times and they told me no return because of alterations. I paid around 4.000$ and your customer service is too bad. They couldn’t resolve my problem. That was not my fault. I have receipt. On the receipt you’ll see my need but they sent different. You can see on the pictures. I ordered Milano but they sent sartorial. They insisted on the models are same. But they are not same. So, they didn’t accept return. Bad experience. Never shopping again ‼️‼️. I wasted my 4.000$. Big disappointment. I realized that you’re a successful, big brand. But unfortunately you’re not..

    Dear Nokwanda and Neiman Marcus Management Team, I am writing to address a matter of great concern regarding an order I recently received. I believe the handling of this situation has been both unprofessional and unethical, and I am requesting an immediate refund for the incorrect shipment. First, the boots I received were mismatched—an error that should never have occurred. Second, my payment was processed instantly at the time of purchase, yet I am now being told that it will take 10-14 days to process my refund after returning the boots. This delay is unacceptable, especially given that the boots will arrive back at your facility on Monday, December 23rd.

    I had planned to wear the Christian Louboutin Loo Leather Red Sole Platform Boots on Christmas Day with an outfit personally styled for this special occasion. Your company’s mistake has not only disrupted these plans but has also left me feeling undervalued as a customer. I cannot help but question whether this treatment is influenced by demographic biases based on my zip code, which would be both unfair and discriminatory.

    I expect Neiman Marcus to take responsibility for this error and refund my $1,495.00 immediately upon receipt of the returned boots. This is not a minor purchase, and the mishandling of this order—from mismatched items to the poor packaging—is unacceptable. I have returned the incorrect boots because I value integrity and trust your company will act with the same level of responsibility. Please confirm when my refund has been processed.     I ordered a pair of 390-dollar Loewe sunglasses, they sent me the wrong item perfume. I called them, upset and asked for a refund. They sent me a return label and I had to pay 6 additional dollars for their mistake. I sent the item back, they have had the package for over two weeks and they still have not sent me my money or an email saying they would. I have called the customer service over 30 times. This is horrible, not only did they send the wrong item but now I’m having issues getting my money back. The worst experience I have ever had with a company in my life.     I bought a Dior blush online and I went to the store to return. When I went to Dior stand, the male agent without even opening the box said I can not return because it is used. I didn’t even use the blush, it was dry and I couldn’t smear any color from its top surface. When I challenged him to let me speak to the manager, his manager didn’t address the issue and said, "We don’t take anything used." What is the return policy? If you are not satisfied with any merchandise you are free to return it back. I didn’t even use the item. The manager was rude and did ask to call the online to see if they agree to return or it!

    The agent looked at my orders online lot find any issues to fault me. When online agreed to return my item, they didn’t apologize. When I said, "Thank you, I will never shop from this store again," the manager said, "It is up to you, you don’t have to be upset at us." Wow, what kind of customer service!! Official complaint will be submitted to the corporate. Thank you Racist Dior beauty stand at Neiman Marcus.

    I bought a beautiful $300 + tie for my husband for Christmas, I received it within the time frame; however, the packaging was deplorable. It was wrapped in tissue paper and thrown in a plastic bag like a salami sandwich, very disgusting and to add insult to injury, it was put in a flat trashy tiny brown paper bag. I was totally appalled by such a high end store would do such packaging. This is unexcitable, shame on you! I really hope this store goes bankrupt. I will never be shopping here again..

    I purchased a 700.00 Lagos bracelet from their website to pick up at the King of Prussia Mall. It was curbside pick up so after I received the package I went to a parking space. I opened the package and the bracelet was tarnished and scratched. You can see it looked like a used return. I had to go in to the store and the sales person immediately took one look at it and said this never should have been sent out but it's from the warehouse not the actual store so we have no control. They didn't have any others in that style so I had to return it. I was very upset. How can a store not look over the merchandise before sending it out. I'll never buy online from Neiman Marcus.

    I returned a pair of unworn boots to the website. Never worn (other than when I tried them on). No refund - instead the boots were sent back to me with a note stating that the boots have been worn. They were not. They claimed the sole was damaged. They were not. I called and spoke to a customer service representative and although she tried to help, the team would not believe me. Truly poor customer service. Truly poor. I’ve purchased designer bags and shoes from this site - never again.

    1. Poor customer service. They never addressed the problem properly. The phone call was on hold for a long time after they said they needed more assistance for my case and then got disconnected, no matter how many times you called.
    2. I lost my money and lost the items, my claim never properly got reviewed.
    3. This will be the last time ordering from them.

    4. My items were sent to the wrong address, clearly shown on the FedEx Picture, it was not my building, and outside somewhere, all my other POD will show my apt. front door.

    If I could give zero stars I would. It's the worst store ever in the world. I bought stuff and needed to ship it back and there was a hefty return fee. Nordstrom is much better. I don't plan on shopping here ever again. I've had to ship things to the UK before and that only costs 7 dollars but shipping things back to the US with this store costs 13 dollars? That's insane.

    Attempted to return a birthday gift from my mother that was too small. Was refused a return onto a gift card and a cash refund was out of the question. The manager and supervisor acted in a very superior way treating me quite badly. In the end had to return the item to my mother's card so I received nothing for my birthday. After driving 3.5 hours, I found I was quite unwelcome. I will never shop there again. I do not recommend purchasing anything due to their non existent return policy.

    If I could leave no stars I would. Between Neiman Marcus and the brand MZ Wallace I will never ever buy from Neiman's again. Bought a bag from MZ Wallace and in less than 2 months the bag is falling apart. MZ Wallace will not touch it because I bought it from a 3rd party seller and Neiman's only has a warranty for 30 days. I can return to Neiman's for them to look at bag. Not guarantee that they can fix and it takes about 4 to 6 weeks. This seems so unfair for a bag that was over $300. My suggestion do not buy from either vendor, ever!!! Should have bought from Nordstrom's!!

    I am looking to sue this company for emotional distress I have placed over 10 orders ALL CANCELED!!!! I had an important meeting to attend once they claim that the order was canceled due to billing issues which was not true I contact Capital One and they assure me that everything came through correct that they don't know why they canceled it. I placed another order. That canceled it out again and said billing issue. Which was not true because I then again call my bank and this was not true. They cancel again for out of order items.

    I called the store and those items were in fact in stock I have a recorded phone call conversation. I have screenshots of my chats being canceled. Chat after chat with nothing being answered that keep canceling my chats after I inquure about my order so I am definitely filing for discrimination and emotional distress something is going on with this company!!!! It's very bogus capital one should drop them. I will also send complaint to corporate and capital. I am basically being banned from ordering from Neiman Marcus!!!! Also I even called and placed the order still canceled!!!!

    Purchased a pair of Fendi slides from Neiman Marcus KOP. The slides turned colors and are defective. The item was returned to the store prior to 30 days. The slides cost $1,190 and require a full refund. the store is giving a hard time with the refund. Bottom line, do not shop at Neiman Marcus KOP!!!

    The tags on the items at the home department do not match the items. I went to purchase a gift yesterday (in person) and they were trying to overcharge me. The tag on the item I was purchasing was not the correct tag. I literally had to open the website and give them the item number to prove to them and I was correct! Didn’t even get an apology. I can only imagine what would have happened if I ended up paying the incorrect amount. The person I gifted the item to would have never been able to return or exchange it because they would have accused us of changing the tags! This is the second time I’ve encountered a similar issue and I must say it’s completely unacceptable! How can employees be so negligent. Be mindful of what you’re purchasing and make sure you’re paying the correct amount.

    Did not trust Neiman Marcus. I purchased Jude Frances Huggie earning online. I was sent Sydney Evan earrings which are smaller. I returned the earrings as the wrong ones were sent to me. Neiman Marcus returned my return accusing me of "switching" the earrings. After two months of emails, phone calls and filing a dispute with my NM credit card, Neiman Marcus will not take back their earrings as they are accusing me of theft. I am accusing them of "bait and switch."

    I have shopped here for decades and never will again! I'm donating these earrings that I never ordered and am out a considerable amount of money. The earrings they sent me actually cost $60 more than the earrings I ordered. This is all so ridiculous. The worst customer service ever. Don't trust Neiman Marcus. They can send you what you didn't order and refuse to accept a return.

    My order is **. Stella MacCartney 80 mm Sneakelyse Alter Sporty. My wife had them for one week and the thong portion popped. They were worn once. I was told to return them which I did. They were received by NM on 7/18. I am still awaiting a refund. I was told by a Custy rep that they were reaching out to the vendor inquiring concerning a defect.

    I wore these shoes once and I paid Neiman Marcus, I didn’t pay the vendor. I want my refund asap! I’m willing to give a bad review of how NM does business on every Social media platform. I’m appalled by what is taking place. Target has better customer service. I didn’t complain about the price of the product, I expect MM not to have an issue when they sell a product that has been worn once and my wife actually fell because of it.

    I was charged twice for an item that was over $1000 a week later after my first purchase. I’ve contacted the bank to submit a complaint. And also Neiman Marcus their reply was if I am already with the bank on the phone they should fixed it. I am speechless how unprofessional and why try steal people's money thinking they will not notice???     I bought 3 of your expensive cashmere sweaters that never stops pilling. Now I know why you push the combs. I spend 20 minutes combing them out every time I want to wear them and by the end of the night they need to be combed out again. It's embarrassing wearing these sweaters and I have had these less than a year. The sweaters are on their way to Goodwill. If I had known they were made in I would have never have purchase them from sub quality supplier. You paid for cheap labor and sell at a high price. They say you get what you paid for which in this case I did not. Never again.

    If I could give zero stars I would. Worst experience ever. I ordered my husband a perfume for Father’s Day. It didn’t come on its delivery due date. It did come on Father’s Day. When I opened the box the perfume wasn’t inside only samples. I contacted them via their chat the CSR said “I can see your package was delivered.” We again explained yes we have the box but the item isn’t in the box and was informed that it will take 3 days to look into this. The next day I got a phone call asking me what had happened (so the CSR never reviewed our chat). We explained again that we never got the perfume. We even sent photos. She said, "We will need to look into it again." Nobody has made contact with us since. Today I chatted in asking for an update. The person said I had to call the store. The perfume is at the store. It was never put into the box. I call the store and have to explain what was going on and the CSR was not helpful at all.

    I had to ask for the manager. Finally we explain what had happened. She confirmed the perfume is still at the store and will mail it to us. Understand that mistakes happen. The customer service I experienced was horrendous. Each person we chatted and spoke to made us repeat over and over what was going on. Placed on hold without even saying they were placing us on hold. Nobody called me or chatted me they found the perfume and was would mail it I had to do all the work. The CSR would sigh and talk over me. I have worked in call centers and customer service my entire life they need to get better quality control standards.

    Overall if they were sincere it would have made the experience better. This was my first time ordering and I will never order from them again.

    I am incredibly disappointed with Neiman Marcus's customer service. I recently had an order canceled, and the lack of communication was frustrating—no updates or notifications about the cancellation at all. When I reached out to resolve the issue, I provided my order number, expecting a swift resolution. Instead, I was met with endless requests for additional information to verify my identity—everything from my shipping address to, quite literally, the size of my toe. As someone who works in customer service, I know firsthand that an order number should be sufficient to address any concerns. At my company, we require just the order number to quickly solve customer issues, often within seconds.

    The return portal on your website is another major problem. It’s riddled with errors and incredibly difficult to navigate. It seems like nothing on your end is designed with customer convenience in mind. To add to my frustration, my last purchase from Neiman Marcus was over a year ago. Now I remember exactly why I stopped buying from your company. This recent experience just reinforces my decision to take my business elsewhere.

    The worst service experience I have ever had. I purchased the item on NM website and soon later the item was returned. I waited for almost one month for a refund, but I didn't get it. When I called the company, they told me that the refund was already issued two weeks ago.     I purchased an expensive bottle of cologne (Molecule 01) in March.. It is not easy to find so I was excited to find it on the Neiman Marcus website. It was advertised as new and not a tester, but when I opened the box there was no plastic cap on the bottle. When I sprayed it, the cologne was nothing but alcohol water... No fragrance at all.     I wish I could give it a zero. My recent in store experience was really really bad. I went to buy a shoe and they had their shoe and bag event day. Nobody would attend to us even though there were few available associates. So I finally asked an associate for help, I can’t believe how rude he was to me and he abruptly just left in middle of a conversation. Then started approaching other customers who were **. These Sales Associate made it pretty obvious that they are only interested in customer who are **. I felt I was mistreated because of skin color. I wonder if the store instruct the associates to behave that way? In today’s day and age I feel everyone should be treated with respect irrespective of their skin color.

    I went into the store to get one item, I was sales pressured into purchasing an expensive serum and a blush in a line I have never used. Upon trying to use the blush, I looked like a clown. When I tried to return I was told used items can’t be returned. Yet I was not told this upon check out and it was not on the receipt. When the manager refused to work with me and I was clearly up set she handed me back my blush and said “would you like a bag?” I was so shocked my the unpleasant experience. I will never shop there again. Every other store in which I purchase makeup accepts returns and or exchanges. Very disappointed with Neiman Marcus.

    After purchasing luggage >$2k with 2-day shipping, took a week to arrive. Arrived as the completely wrong color, no option to exchange online, only return. Only option to return online is to bring it to a courier yourself (live in NYC and the box is huge - carry-on luggage, would cost $30 in taxis to transport). Called customer service to have them give me a shipping label so I could have the courier pick it up through daily pickups we get and had to threaten to charge back when they wanted me to pay to return the incorrect item they delivered. About an hour wasted at this point.

    FedEx arrives and can’t use the label Neiman sent me, has two labels of their own and no idea which to use, tracking back to NM doesn’t really work. Call FedEx a few times over the next few days and they figure out which tracking number NM purchased and confirm the item was returned within 3/4 days. 2 weeks later and no return credit from NM. I call them on the phone and record them, all agents are in Asia and have horrible connection.

    First agent says they’ll “refresh the line,” hangs up and doesn’t call back. Second time I call and wait 20 minutes on hold, eventually they confirm they’ve received the item and l’ll have a refund within 48 hours. A week goes by and no refund. Open customer service chat online and the first agent takes 15 minutes to check on the return before disconnecting and another agent automatically is put on asking for my information again. This agent apologizes for the terrible service and promises a refund again within 24-48 hours. Well, it’s been 48 hours and no refund yet. I’m done calling and chatting, time to open a dispute, which I told them I would do at this point. The WORST service I’ve had from a retailer, maybe ever. Will never purchase anything from them again.

    I wanted to order a coat by Neiman Marcus. As I got onto their site I was offered a 15% discount on my next order if I accept to get text messages from them. since I needed the discount I did agree and entered my phone number for the discount. I did receive a text with a link that had the discount code and I completed my order. To my dismay shortly after my order was cancelled. When I chatted with their customer care rep. at first she claimed item wasn't avail. but I clearly showed how it's still avail. on the website.     I bought the swimsuit and size was wrong. It should be for petite women, so I had to send it back. NM send me the return label and I used this label for return. I follow up on my return with phone call and they said they got the item and it’s in process. I called 3 times and was getting only promises. I went and open dispute with PayPal. PayPal was not helpful either. I sent email to NM’s customer service and got confirmation in writing that they got my item and they are going to refund my money. I waited but nothing happened. So, I called again and asked for supervisor. She called me back but she was not nice at all, and she said they are not going to refund my money because I opened the dispute with PayPal.

    After some time I found out that they got my item but misplaced it and for this reason they didn’t want to refund my money and was keep blaming PayPal for holding on the refund. Absolutely unacceptable!! They can’t manage the returns or they don’t have a proper system in place, or they hire people who steal from them, and I’m the one who is responsible and have to suffer the loss!!! After 20 years have been a customer, I will never ever buy again anything from Neiman Marcus!!!!

    I placed an order online that I was so excited about receiving. The order did arrive by FedEx however it was stolen from my yard. I called to submit a claim with NM and after an investigation on their end, I was told that the claim was denied because as far as they are concerned they did their job and the package was delivered. I was shocked this happened to me, four years ago when someone stole a package from our property around this same time from Nordstroms the response was so different, they truly made me feel that I was a valued customer! That was customer service I could not say I will shop here again. I was truly disappointed not only was I out of money but my Christmas presents as well. I am happy that I waited to place my second order. This review is looking pretty epic! Nice!

    I made an internet purchase of earings for my wife which didn't meet my expectations for the price paid. I returned them within Neiman Marcus' required 30-day window in order to obtain a refund. I had to make numerous phone calls and attempt to deal with lots of non-native speakers of English in order to get my refund processed. Then the process had to be repeated because the refund wasn't processed correctly on NM's end. It took over a month to get my refund. I can't convey just how frustrating the entire process was. I will never purchase anything from Neiman Marcus again. I suggest prospective buyers explore other options before purchasing anything from NM.

    I recently had an exasperating experience with Neiman Marcus in Las Vegas to the point where I will never spend another dollar there in my life after being a long time customer of their store and I will make sure anyone I know steers clear too. Borderline fraudulent behavior going on over there from the management level down. My how times have changed! After buying 12 pairs of designer shoes in a whirlwind shopping adventure, my overall satisfaction has been far from what I expected. The initial service at the store left much to be desired. There were several instances where communication was lacking, and promises to address my concerns went unfulfilled. Despite my attempts to rectify the situation, I was met with unresponsiveness from the staff.

    My primary concern revolves around a pair of shoes that I never received, even though I paid for them. Despite my best efforts to resolve this issue, it has persisted for over a month without a resolution in sight. In my communications with Neiman Marcus, I highlighted the importance of addressing the matter promptly, as any customer would expect. Unfortunately, I have yet to receive a credit or the shoes that I paid for. The website says that they are sold out now, so I probably will not receive the shoes I wanted to buy due to their employees dropping the ball. I'm left with little options but was hoping I could get someone who works for Neiman Marcus' attention that still cares about keeping their customers happy. That hope is dwindling. Perhaps they have switched over to employing AI customer service bots over there. It's baffling!

    I just want the shoes or the money that I paid for the shoes back. I don't see what's difficult about this. Are they hoping to run me out of energy so I no longer seek the refund I am due? I'll tell you what, I've got better things I could do with my time than having to hound your employees to do their job they are being paid to do. What has surprised me even more during my quest for resolution to this matter was the lack of a coherent response in my efforts to escalate the issue. My concerns seemed to have been passed back to the same staff members who have shown themselves to be incapable of addressing the situation effectively, as if somehow this is supposed to yield me different results? Talk about madness!

    While I believe that mistakes can occur, it's the company's response that truly matters. It's essential for any business to value their customers and take their concerns seriously. I had expected a much higher level of service from a retailer of Neiman Marcus' reputation and caliber. Especially when I am in the 2% of clientele that the CEO, Geoffroy van Raemdonck, claims he is looking to get more of. I spent almost 30% of his desired clientele's yearly spend in 30 minutes. So why is it that Susanna ** is not even concerned with losing my business permanently?

    I urge Neiman Marcus to reconsider their approach to handling customer issues and to provide a more effective resolution process. As a long-time customer, I believe that clear communication, accountability, and a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction are crucial for maintaining a positive reputation. At this point, I would not be surprised to hear that they are going under. They have lost all attention and focus over there and you can't get anyone on the phone, nor do they return your call. They are unapologetic about their mistakes as well.

    I hope that my experience serves as constructive feedback and encourages improvements in Neiman Marcus' customer service processes because as it stands, I can get better customer service at Target. Why would I spend that much money to get treated worse? No thank you! There are no shortage of places I can spend my money. As the recession deepens, without customer service to differentiate themselves from the MANY companies that supply the exact same products, they got nothing.

    I placed an order for sneakers online. When the package arrived they were a completely different color, but the same brand. I called customer service, explained what happened and was issued a FedEx return label. I was issued a refund and everything was fine. Fast forward to last week (one month later), I received a package from Neiman Marcus (with no notification) just an alert from my alarm system, and it was a box with the same item in it. I called customer service and was told the warehouse rejected the return because the item is not something NM sells. I was furious and demanded a fedex pick up because I did not authorize NM to charge my card for this item and I wasn't going to keep a purchase they sent in error - again.

    After checking the original shipping label, the sneakers were shipped from the store in Charlotte, NC. I told the rep that they need to check back at this location to see if there has been fraudulent activity because she stated "she can't confirm what was in the box I shipped back" - basically implying that I'm trying to send back a different item then what I purchased. How can she not be sure that an employee did this! I guess it's easier to blame it on a paying customer!

    In any event, for a "luxury" retailer I have never been treated so poorly or ever been accused of stealing. I've only had my card for a short period of time and have purchased other items of more value with no issue. The supervisors I spoke to were rude and basically told me there is nothing they can do. I now have a investigation open with Capital One and hope they find the thief internally and provide some training on how to deal with customers. The time wasted trying to do the right thing to return this item and the lack of consideration has been intolerable. I hope they have proper procedures in place to figure out what happened so others don't have to deal with this but this makes me think that this type of stuff happens often. I can't wait to close this card and be done with them for good!

    Worst online customer service. Worst online customer service. Tried to chat with online CS. First agent was assigned after 4 minutes of waiting. (3.22 entered into chat, 3.26 pm agent was assigned, 3.29 no reply from the agent). 2nd attempt today. 3.33 pm entered into chat, they said waiting time is 2 minutes, but until 3.50 no agent is assigned - almost 20 minutes wasted! This NM chat apps is totally useless!! I tried to get my refund with no success.

    If I could give rate this a zero I would. I ordered an designer handbag on 6/9/23. Twenty days later, I have yet to receive a tracking number or status update on my order. It is still "in process". I called customer service multiple times and they have said "it's in fulfillment" and similar to the other reviewers, they give me a fake delivery date, pushing the date one more day every day that I call. Essentially, I have paid for a product that has not and will not be delivered to me.

    I went to the local mall, and what do I find? The bag that I ordered on display. However, I would have to come out of pocket again (without a refund/store credit) and purchase the bag. Lastly, I contact customer service again to cancel my order. They tell me that they cannot guarantee that because it is in fulfillment in the warehouse. Same thing they have been telling me for weeks. So basically, Neiman Marcus took my money, won't refund it, and won't deliver the product. Thievery. Trying to escalate this further.

When I contacted Neiman Marcus which I quickly realized is only outsourced in South America and South Africa (I am sure many other places to avoid paying US salaries) to complain about the missing package they would not send a new one or refund me. Basically claiming I was lying! In addition, the jackets were bought on a gift card and in the year of 2023 they don't process returns to gift cards electronically! I have never heard of such a low life company in my life. Stay far away. They will likely go bankrupt for shady business practices and stealing funds.

    Sade made my day!! Today is my birthday and I wanted to do some online shopping but has issues with the website.     I’m an ** woman. On 3/26/23 I purchased a Brand bag and belt. All together spent was $3000. However, I wasn’t planning on returning the items but two weeks after having the items in my possession an incident happened where I had to return. The merchandise were both so in original packaging and hadn’t been used. I decided to return the items on 4/20/23 and my 11 yr old daughter and I walked in the store we were greeted with bad attitudes and bad customer service. As we walked up to register and was told by one employee that she couldn’t help us because she was busy. Although she didn’t have a customer.

    At the second register, the employee sent us to Chanel, because she exclaimed she was busy as well. After being sent to the third employee we were greeted with lip-smacking and bad attitude. The third employee said to me “Let me investigate these items”, the look on her face and her tone was very disrespectful. Remind you I had my 11 yr old daughter with me and she asked me why everyone has an attitude with me.

    Fast forward, I was told the items wouldn’t be returned because the tags weren’t attached although the tags were there. That’s when we were sent to a manager and before she could get to us she already had a mean expression on her face. She also told me she couldn’t do the return although I had the receipt and the tags. That’s when I tried recording the conversation and had the security called over to tell me to put phone away.

    I literally, went through 5 employee, that were rude and treated me like a criminal over a return. The security was so nice and he even shook his head after I explained that they refused to return the $3000 worth merchandise because of tags. My daughter was scared and she kept asking why were the employees being rude to me.

    It ended with no return, no apology, no nothing. On the receipt, it says nothing about tags being attached but it does say returns are granted within 30 days in original packaging. And as long as tags were with item. I called a second store and was told as long as I had the tags in my possession, they can do a return and that the tags do not need to be attached because they understand that people change their mind. So basically, it’s not a store policy which was the excuse at first store.

    Tried to buy a bang and Olufson Beoplay A9 at the store. Was not available in store. Went to website. Order #**. The first order was canceled. The second order was due to deliver by 12/23. No timeline now. Call the 1800 number. Calls directed to Honduras call center. Wait time: 15-30 minutes. The folks on the call are very nice but have no information. Looks like Neiman Marcus a store that represents the best in shopping is falling apart. Sad to see this retailer going under.

    I purchased a Marc Jacobs tote bag in August of 2022. Upon purchasing was advised it was back ordered and would be shipped out 9/14/22. About 2 weeks after ordering received an email update that the approximate arrival date would be 9/14 meaning I would have it that date. Closer to that date I began tracking shipment but shipment still stated backordered. I called and was advised it would be shipped to the store on 9/14 and sent to me right after but again tracking still says back ordered. So on 9/14 I text a live representative and was advised the new back order date would be 10/7. Then the very next text from the representative was that she apologized that date is for new orders and my shipment had no date. Afterwards I called to speak to someone and was advised the bag would come sometime in October with no actual date, again I ordered in August.

    I wrote Neiman Marcus Instagram page and was advised basically October some time I would receive the bag. No compensation was made for all the false information I was given. Very unprofessional and they eventually stopped responding. About an hour after the instagram messaging I received a new date of October 7th which again I was told was for new orders. I am highly upset and I believe that my order came in on 9/14 and they forgot to process mine so now I'm waiting with the new orders.

    I am a very experienced online shopper and know the drill. Received a formal jumpsuit ($550 plus tax) for a rehearsal dinner in Grand Cayman. Ordered 3/16 and received 3/19 about 1.5 hours ago. When it was delivered (I saw the delivery guy from my office window.) the tape seal along the long side of the box had been completely torn apart. Driver was gone before I saw it. I took the jumpsuit out of the box and saw that from the bottom and at least 2-3 inches up both legs, was completely filthy.

    I took photos and called Neiman customer service (in South America and spoke to Liz) and sent her the photos while on the call. She put me on hold for over 20 minutes. Came back and offered me 10% off. This is a WHITE jumpsuit. Who takes a risk on a $550 jumpsuit that the cleaners can even get the dirt out. I wouldn't. I explained that I did not want to keep the jumpsuit but wanted to return it and wanted to speak to a supervisor so that they had a record of how their shipping is being handled. It came FedEx. I should have never been put on my doorstep by FedEx. I have now been on hold 56.25 minutes waiting to speak to a supervisor. Neiman's has become miserable to work with.

    I ordered a Burberry Crossbody bag. My package arrived in a Burberry box on Jan 27th but inside there was a box of cookies. I talked with CS about the issue. They agreed to ship the purse once I postmarked that the cookies were sent back. Feb 2 I called CS again, discussed the issue and made it clear that I wanted the handbag not a refund. They assured me that this would be corrected and that the handbag would be sent. Today (Feb 6) I called again only to be informed that the bag was out of stock and that I was refunded the money.     If I could give zero stars I would, do not buy from this company. They have the worse return process, their customer service team is questionable, they offered a refund (have 2 emails to prove it) and then 10 days later retracted it with no heads-up. Then when calling them you will pay long distance charges and will be placed on hold for hours. It's a joke. How can they call themselves a high end brand yet not even have a 1-800 number to service their clients. I will NEVER buy from this company again. Don't walk, run away from them!!

    I ordered a dress and matching sandals for my daughter's wedding, the dress arrived later than expected. My account was charged three times for the sandals I ordered including another charge today, BUT, this morning I received a email saying my sandal order was cancelled due to it being out of stock.     I was told this is a normal occurrence with Neiman Marcus. So when they say the item is in stock they are lying. When they get around to the order after it's paid for and it's not in stock then you are out of luck and have to wait patiently 5-7 business days to get your money back. SO they have had my money since 1//14/2022 but no intention of sending me the purchased item!! WORST STORE EVER!!!

    I’m not sure if the packing person was trying to come up and pocket the purse I actually ordered, but somehow their department sent me the completely wrong purse. They will not send me a new one until the refund completely is sent back to their headquarters, even though this is not my fault. They will not give me the purse I ordered, unless I create a whole new transaction and charge my card $350 once again. I can’t believe their packing team can’t read a label correctly. The wrong item looks nothing like the item I ordered, and although this is 100% their fault, they will not send me a new one.

    I pre ordered my shoes few months ago and finally I got email my shoes were shipped and I got charged on my credit card. However, when my shoes did not show up I contacted FedEx and I was informed they never received the package from the sender. I contacted Neiman Marcus ​and I was told I will be updated with my order status in 24 hours. Of course the email never came so I contacted them again. I find out my package never made it to FedEx and my shoes are no longer available and they can offer me a refund. I got really upset and I said to online chat operator I deserve something more than refund and I will report them to BBB. Mr. ** simply disconnected my chat. I just want to share my experience after waiting few months for my order and being charged for the product which I never even received. I am hoping I can receive my refund. I am not sure where this review will take me but I make sure not to buy from NM ever again.

    I purchased a pair of Louboutin sneakers at the Paramus - Garden State Plaza on Dec 20th. I returned to the store on Dec 27th to exchange the pair of sneakers as they were a size too big. I was advised by the sales associate that they did not have the item but it could be delivered to store or my home. I quickly responded to him that I was traveling and needed the item before Jan. 5th, 2022. He said, "Sure you will received it by then." Today Jan 3rd I called the store because I have not received any notifications that my item has been shipped. When I called the store after 20 minutes of waiting because they could not find the order. The young lady informed me that my item shipped yesterday Jan. 2nd and the estimated delivery was for Jan 6th, 2022 and there were nothing she could do as the item had already shipped.

    I am very dissatisfied that I was very clear as to when I needed the item and the sales associate lied by saying it would be here before the my departure. I am now with no merchandise and the funds not on my account and no one could assist me, therefore I am a lost. I am very dissatisfied with the customer service provided Neiman Marcus had provided, their high-end approach is very downscale.

    I am writing in about a complaint on Marie in customer service. I called in with a question about why items were not arriving in the gift box or gift wrapping as specified with the representative that I stayed on the line with for about 30-40mins upon placing the order that night. I called in and spoke with Marie to ask about how to get boxes for my order and she was completely inappropriate, and extremely rude. She spoke over me and told me that I was upset about the last person giving me incorrect information which was very offensive. I wasn't half as upset about the gift wrapping as I was how I was spoken to. Very unapologetic, rude, annoyed and not helpful at all. I was even told if I go into a store I would not be able to get gift boxes. I would never hire a person like this for my customer service.

    If I could give 0 stars I would. Normally I don’t write reviews, this time I'm taking my time writing a negative review because the disrespect is just too much. In June my boyfriend bought me a pair of Louboutins which had to be returned over 4 times because they were either missing the heel replacement or they just came straight up scratched. After this they finally sent me some in new condition. Then now I decided to buy some Tory Burch which came scratched at the bottom as if someone tried them on. I took them back to the store and was treated as if I was stealing. Horrible horrible customer service, will continue looking for ways to leave negative reviews because of the disrespect from the representatives.

    I was given an a ultimatum even after I explained and proved to them these shoes had not been worn, at least not by me given the fact that the tag at the bottom was new and the shoe was in perfect condition even wrapped in the paper as they sent it. I was able to get my refund however Jaír the treatment was very disgusting. So disappointed with this store never setting foot here again. Don’t waste your time and money and go yo Nordstrom instead or just buy straight from the designer.

    Neiman Marcus sent to me dresses without red tags which were too big. They didn’t want accept them back due to this. I wrote escalation to them in September. They said that this is my false. In October they sent me next dress without red tag. 20 minutes after opening box I wrote to them escalation. And again I have received information that they will not take dress back due to this. They have huge problems with employees and they forced customers to pay for their mistakes. They don’t want to give me back $1000 for two dresses. Dresses are too big and believe me on pictures vs real looks really different. I will never buy dresses at this store!!!!

    If I could give them 0 stars I would. I wish I had read all of these reviews before I ordered. This was my very first experience with Neiman Marcus. I thought Neiman Marcus was a high end, reputable business & I was sadly mistaken. I ordered multiple dresses for an event NEXT YEAR & returned them all. They never left my house. One of the dresses was NEVER tried on and was returned in its original packaging. Neiman Marcus accepted the return and then wouldn't refund my money. They never contacted me. When I called them, they said the dress was worn, damaged, and unsaleable. I know with 100% certainty I returned it in the same condition I received it and it was never worn or damaged. I asked for details and pictures because I was stunned. I asked for it to be escalated and someone to call me. Neither happened. Instead, they tried to send the dress back to ME! I refused delivery and I contacted them again, and I got the same run around.

    They refused to allow me to talk to a manager. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Whatever happened to that dress, if anything, did not happen while it was in my possession. They need to check with their own warehouse team or talk to USPS, the carrier. Today, that dress came back to me AGAIN, repackaged in a new box. I again refused delivery and have reported Neiman Marcus to the Better Business Bureau. They have stolen $430 from me. All I want is my money back.

    I ordered a pair of Balenciaga sneakers and Marc Jacobs handbag. I live in a building. Let me start by saying that. I received an email that my package was delivered however it was not there when I got home. The FedEx driver put my name and apt as proof of delivery. My buzzer comes straight to my phone and he did not ring my bell or come to my door. My package is missing and Neiman Marcus refuses to replace my items or give me a refund because FedEx states it was delivered. I asked for proof of my signature and that it was delivered to me and they said because of Covid FedEx deliveries are contactless.

    So basically he could have gave my package to anyone in my building including visitors, mark my package delivered and that's that. Brenda is the manager of the escalation department who told me if FedEx says it's delivered they can't do anything yet they refuse to show me a signature or proof. Now I’m out of $1000 and my merchandise and their answer to me was they can't do anything!

    I ordered a pair of Louboutins for my wife online. $25 were added for next day delivery, which I was happy to pay. The shoes did not arrive next day or the day after. When I called and texted customer service I was told they would arrive in two to three weeks. All the sweet talking numb replies from CS couldn't make up for the disappointment at the time I was thinking of gifting those shoes. Now I would like to exchange these unworn shoes for a pair one size up and managers are unwilling to work with me. This is the first and last time I will engage with Neiman Marcus. This brand is trash.

    Neiman Marcus pretty much can’t explain why my order is continuously being canceled because they claim they can’t verify my info on my account but yet they keep taking the Money out of my account. Even after I spoke to a manager twice and got my bank on a three way call with them to verify all my billing. Still no explanation as to why my order has been canceled three times through the so called “processing team” whoever those ghost are. My bank asked to speak with someone from this team of incompetent ghost and apparently they do not speak to customers directly, only a customer care rep from neiman Marcus can relay messages and continuously put notes on the account but the notes are completely irrelevant if they can’t do anything about it.

    Neiman Marcus has proven three times now that they’d rather lose a customer rather than fixing the issue especially after it was proven that all my info is correct my hearing it from my bank. This whole situation has caused an extreme amount of frustration for me-not to mention a year ago my partner tried to order a pair of shoes for me and the same thing happened four times. I let it go then being naive and thinking it was something my partner was doing wrong. Guess I owe them an apology now that it’s happening to me with a completely different order, name, credit card and billing address than theirs.

    After reevaluating the constant calls with managers from neiman Marcus I’m beginning to think that this is an inventory issue. You can’t proceed to take money out of a customers account and then say “we can’t verify your info” once the money comes out FYI: IT'S VERIFIED! I think neiman Marcus false advertises and makes FALSE statements. I think that instead of saying that they realized they don’t have the item in my size in stock, they’ve been deducting the funds from my account, realizing they don’t have the item, then sending out a false email and saying they can’t verify my card info and therefore the order was cancelled. Quite interesting isn’t it...however I have enlisted the help of my bank and another shoe lover where we will attempt to purchase the exact same shoe. We shall see if their order gets canceled as well.

    Neiman Marcus has a glitch in their system that they won’t acknowledge, they’d rather accuse customers of providing inaccurate account information instead of owning up and admitting there is something wrong on their end. Over the past three days neiman Marcus has been deducting money from my account, putting it back, putting it on hold and all over again. I’ve been so stressed out and frustrated with neiman Marcus I will mark it on the wall to NEVER ever purchase from them again. Whether in store or online. I will be sure to spread the word about this incident to many others and post this review on as MANY WEBSITES AS I CAN. Thanks for nothing “NEIMAN MARCUS”

    Had an issue with Neiman Marcus representative being untruthful about an item I purchased, so before purchase I called to the customer support asking if the item I wanted to purchase has any promotional discount or sales in the future? because it was designer item and it was for a future event I needed to attend months away and that I can put off purchase and wait for a sale and I was told, “no this is designer items don’t go on sales and do not have promotions” which then I made the purchase right away because of what I was told.

    I didn’t ask for a name of who gave me misleading information but few months later this item is like $1000 off and when I called and asked why I was lied to and they explained that this item gets marked down when the vendor of the item marks the price on sale which I wasn’t told about so I filed complaint and was declined a price match or any kind of compensation for this issue, this is horrible way of treating a customers. It took them 5 days to respond to my complaint on top of all and was told it would take 24 to 48 hours to hear back from them. Neiman Marcus enjoy your sneaky earned $$ because I’ll never purchase from you again. And do not recommend purchasing from Neiman Marcus. I’ll be better off using Net-A-Porter instead.

    Neiman Marcus emails me regularly regarding flash sales (24-hours long) on clothing and accessories. This week, I found a $285 shirt for $49. I ordered it. 12 hours later, I received an email declaring my ordered canceled because they didn't have it in the size I had selected. With only minutes left in the sale, I went online and ordered it in a smaller size. There is a reasonable chance this will fit me as I am between the two sizes. Generally, if I don't know for sure which size is best, I read the reviews or if that is not available I order the larger size.

    Just hours after my order, I checked the shirt again. It was now longer an extra 25% percent off, but magically Neiman Marcus had several of this shirts available in the original size I had requested. The same size in the cancelled order! Amazing how multiple shirts became available when the store was closed across the country.

    I called customer service the next morning after again confirming that they had multiple shirts in my preferred size still available. My smaller shirt order had already been processed and that shirt was allegedly on its way. Customer service had no answer and was evasive when I first asked them what was going on. Not particularly helpful, though they were willing to create a third order for the shirt in the original size. Great now I have to buy 2 shirts! This seems like a bait and switch to me. I don't think Neiman Marcus puts the whole inventory of a clothing item on sale. That said, why tell me it is available, then cancel the order 12 hours later, and then shortly after, list it in stock again? Not right.

    I ordered a chaise in January. I completely understand that things may take a while to obtain or arrive given the current circumstances. I was initially told the item would be available from the vendor in April. Every month I have gotten an 'update' to my order which never changed from being 'in process' with the estimated arrival being pushed to the following month. Well, it's April, and the last update is still 'in process' without even an estimated arrival date. After contacting someone, I was told that the new 'estimated arrival date' is 5/5. I asked if this would also be subject to change. At which point I was told 'yes that is why it an estimated arrival date.'

    Ok, so I'm going to spend $3500 for an item that doesn't even have a guaranteed ship date from YOUR vendor? There is no guarantee that I even receive this item within like, 3 months, 6 months, 12 months? I really would not care if they told me it would be July or August, but to not even know when I'm going to definitively receive the item? This is asinine. I cancelled my order. At least I can self soothe by reminding myself they filed for bankruptcy last year.

    I have had my account with Neiman for about two years. I never carry a balance but they are slow to credit my account for returns or payments even if I make the payment in cash in the store and the same with returns. I have received late payment charges and they even shut down my credit card this weekend because they said they did not receive payment. I actually used the mail this time but it was mailed at least a week before the payment was due. I asked that they show me the postmark on the envelope when they did receive it and they said no. Meanwhile the items I had selected during the sale are now gone.

    One time I made a return by mail and it was sent back to me with the box opened and my merchandise hanging out. I re-taped it and sent it back. If they were implying they received the box that way why on earth would they not at least tape it before sending it back to me? If the items had been lost I would have been liable. They also complained to me once that I was paying my bill in cash.

    On Saturday afternoon I was in Neiman Marcus, Merrick Park for shopping for some earings, a salesmen took me to the jewelry department and asked a gentlemen by the name of Mike to show them to me. He turned around and told me to lift my mask that had slipped down to the middle of my nose. I put it up, the band was stretched out, I was unable to maintain it up, it slipped right down again, as I attempted to try again the mask when in my eye causing my eye to tear, so I told him sorry I cannot keep it up. He turned around with a gesture that looked as he was going to come at me say what did you say! I turned around to the other salesmen informing him that I was sorry but had to leave, as I was insulted this salesmen now turned enforcer disrespected me.

    At that point I definitely took off my mask in is entirety with my eye tearing up, to walk out of the store. I cannot wear masks too tight because I start to hyperventilate when forced to wear while doing any type of movement or talking. I carry an inhaler, at times I have to walk outside to use it suffering from symptoms due to a lack of oxygen intake. All customers shopping in person are perfectly aware of the one year pandemic and have moved past the restrictions. We are the people keeping Mike and all other employees in business and deserve better. This was a horrible experience a form of bullying as he was a man much bigger than I was and felt he took advantage of that.

    I have been many times shopping in Neiman's and keep coming back because everyone in your store have always shown value for their customers and treat us with the utmost respect, Saturday, March 13, 2021 that was not the case. There is absolute not one study validating facial covering reduce the spread, unfortunately the media is ensuring those people are silenced. According to the CDC, Emerging Infectious Diseases, Volume 26, Number 5 one of the many published studies on Personal Protective and Environmental Measures concluded, face masks did not support a substantial effect on transmission of the virus. In Florida, our Governor Ron DeSantis has lifted the mandatory mask requirement for a reason, business are free to require it if they want to but I do not agree with customers being subject to bullying from any employee.

    My order was lost/ stolen, which was captured by my security camera and which was supposed to be delivered by signature. I was not home, that fact was proved by my camera that the postman knocked the door and left the package on the busy street side. Then he put signed in his device as I signed it and accepted it which obviously was not true as the cameras captured everything. When the postman left a stranger approached my package and apparently took it as the place is crowded as I said. After 30 min. the camera shows that I arrived home. I sent all these videos to Neiman Marcus team to investigate and give me either refund or replacement but they did not care at all. They act like robots. They see in the FedEx tracking it shows signed by me and follow with that fact only disregarding the videos that shows how postman leaves the package with no confrontation of anybody. This is disgrace from both fedex and Neiman Marcus to their customers.

    I at least deserve to get my money back. I am very much disappointed by this incident. Do not make online orders from this company. It is not guaranteed that you ever receive your item nor is it guaranteed that you’ll get refund/replacement. They told me to file a police report and open up a claim with fedex. I think they were kidding me, seriously. Did I choose to contract with that carrier? No. Was the risk of loss on me before the item was delivered? No. Did I ever received or signed for it? No. Why should I be given a hard time and follow all these steps? The store bears the responsibility for both choosing a right carrier and making sure the item is safely delivered.

    The store bears the risk of loss of the item until after the item is on my possession (google and read a case law on Contract). Now they are telling me to take the steps that should be done by them by law. Very unresponsible, uncarring, unprofessional, indifferent customer service I have ever seen. Do not buy online from this company and they have the poorest, zero level customer service. They are more like robots than people with acting brains.

    Terrible experience. I paid $200 for shoes for my wedding, a few months later I was diagnosed with small fiber neuropathy and have very little feeling in my feet accompanied by poor balance so these 3 inch wedges just weren't a great idea. I decided to chat with a Neiman Marcus agent and see if they would be willing to help me out. The agent agreed to authorize the return as long as I paid the shipping, which I found more than fair seeing as I was months outside of their return window. I pay $25 for 2 day shipping with insurance through the postal service and after it finally makes it to Texas it lands in the middle of the snowstorm so another week passes and my shoes finally arrive for my refund only to be turned away and sent directly back to me because.... You guessed it, out of the return window.

    I chat with an agent and explain that I was told the return was approved and they apologize and say there's nothing they will do for me except refund my shipping costs. So here I sit, no shoes, wedding in 3 months, hopefully they show up by then, and my choice is spend another $200 or so on a second pair and be in this for $400 or risk my crap balance and feet I can't feel forsaking me in the middle of my wedding. All because of a poorly trained agent and a company unwilling to stand by their word. Don't waste your time.

    I received my sunglasses, they came in a nice satin bag. But when i first saw them, they were not what i expected. The first thing is, one of the lenses were out of the frame. They had fell out. When i put them back in the frame, they would not stay in. I'm guessing they were too small. The shades were flimsy and lightweight like plastic. I was under the impression that the frame would be heavy being that the shades were suppose to be gold plated metal. When i put the shades on, the did not fit my face. The kept slipping down and to top it off....the lenses were dirty. I was highly disappointed in my item. For $250.00 i was expecting something worth what i paid. It was a rip off.     Atlanta, GA. If had zero star I’ll give. I’m their loyal customer for many years specially this location near my house. I never have to go to their customer service. But today’s my first time I need to return the perfume I bought online. First, I asked the security guy where customer service is. He used his hand to point out. Don’t even say a word. When I was at customer service have 2 people there. One sat on work at working table, one sat on the couch opposite. The guy on the couch asked me what do I need.     I recieved my new shoes today (or what I thought was new). I was sent a refurbished pair of Christian Louboutin. The bottom of the shoes had scratches and dents that either the previous owner or Neiman attempted to repair with the infamous red bottom paint. The paper in the box was all wrinkled and the shoes was not wrapped as you normally would receive a new shoes. Not even shoe stuffing! On the bottom of all shoes there is a little plastic sticker, that sticker print was faded and dirt was around the edges. The back base (achilles heal) had creases of wear to top it all off. The unmitigated gull of this top end store to sale a use shoe as a new purchased for $695 not to mention hygienic exposure during this pandemic.

    I purchase thousands of dollars of items from Neiman Marcus. The Excellent TOP OF-THE LINE luxury clothing, shoes and handbags. If you want quality and are willing to pay for it, Neiman marcus is a great company! They also have excellent customer service when you are trying to find or buy something. But their customer service for returns or exchanges of online purchases is TERRIBLE! I placed7 phone calls to return some expensive sandals I purchased online. I never got anyone on the line for one of the calls. They kept referring me to their webpage for "returns and assistance". But the page was not operational for 3 consecutive days, and when I finally was able to get the page to open, I entered my online order number and my email address, and I kept getting error messages!!

    On my 8TH PHONE CALL TO NEIMAN MARCUS CUSTOMER SERVICE, I FINALLY HAD A PERSON ANSWER. She CONFIRMED MY ORDER NUMBER AND EMAIL, and she apologized profusely for the problems. She promised I would be emailed a Fed Ex return shipping label within 24 hours. This did NOT happen! It took getting my personal assistant calling NM CONSTANTLY, before we got the situation resolved 2 days later. It took 5 days to get a return shipping label from NM, which I believe to be unacceptable for a "luxury goods" store that charges very high prices and promises "easy deliveries and returns."

    I purchased a 195.00 Tara Harper creme riche moisturizer along with several hundred dollars of Christmas gifts. When I tried the cream it was off. I put the batch number (bottom of jar) into Tata Harper website and it was expired and old. I called Tata Harper and they said it was old and return it to the store. I did so within 7 days. They told me because I used it I couldn’t return it. They then offered an exchange. I told them I returned it because it was old and they proceed to ask what I didn’t like about it. I had enough and demanded my money back. She went on to school me about returns and never acknowledged the product was old.

    It’s supposed to be handmade in Vermont and farm fresh hence batch dates. Why shop with them!! I spent so much and not even a sample or two dropped in my bag. They refused to acknowledge the fact it was being returned because it was old. They could have looked at the batch number themselves! They blew my day arguing with me about a simple return. Never again. Went straight to harper's website today and received a free gifts, samples and 25 percent off!

    In August I purchased some items online and most didn't work out for me so I requested a return. In the meantime I fell down a flight of stairs in my home and broke my neck and was hospitalized and had surgery. When I was well enough I returned the items, however it was well past the return policy. I have tried everything I know, even going into Neiman's and showing them the 8" scar going down my neck. While the girl at Neiman's store tried her best to help me, it was to no avail. I then called the customer service department and again, the girl on the phone was doing everything she could, but the management said NO, even when explaining the circumstances. I have been a good customer for Neiman's for many years. I Just purchased a ton of Christmas presents there and wish I hadn't. I am going to close my account and never shop at Neiman Marcus again. Clearly they do not care about customers.

    I finally bought my first shoes of Christian Louboutin. I was super excited when I got them however after receiving it by mail I noticed that I’m size 37 but I got by mistake 37.5. Then the same day I went to the store to see if I can change it for the correct size. When I get there right away the lady start smelling the bottom of the shoes then proceed to get a similar pair to compared with mine, then she notice that my shoes sole was lighter red color than the one from the store and she keep saying smell like fresh paint keep in my since this is my first shoes I have no idea what she’s talking about “fresh paint”. Then she send a sale guy to call online customer service because she was the manager. The guy comes back and said to me people from online denied my exchange and I keep asking him what was the issue and he just keep saying online store just said no.

    Do you know how humiliated I felt knowing that I just spent more than $700 for a pair of shoes and this people are basically telling me that my shoes are fake!! When I have the receipt to prove it. That didn’t feel good at all. I left the store and call online customer service and explain to them what just happened, the lady explained to me that is normal that some shoes have lighter red than the other ones and this is completely normal that what I needed to do is go back to the store and instead of an exchange just return the shoes and purchase another pair with the correct size.

    I go back to the store explain to the manager what they just told me then she call online store and she explain to them what I’m trying to do but then she mentioned to them that the shoes smells like fresh paint again making me feel embarrassed and what she have in front of her is a pair of fake Christian Louboutin. PS she never said the shoes were fake she keep saying that the shoes are different from what they have at the store, to me this is a better way to say the shoes are fake. At the end I still have the shoes. They did not help me and I felt discriminated. The way they handle the situation was unacceptable. First time I purchase a pair of Christian Louboutin, first time I can afford this kind of shoes and first time I purchase something from Neiman Marcus and it was a total disaster.

    I have been a Neiman Marcus customer for years, finally applied for a credit card 2 years ago. When COVID-19 started I became unemployed, I missed a payment forgot about it, my bad. Nobody called no email. I called them after reporting late payment to my credit bureau. They asked me to write a letter and fax it in.     RMS is a 'Green' makeup, they don't have bad ingredients and because of that, the shelf life is very limited. With that being said, I saw the sale on RMS lipstick and immediately ordered 4 tubes. I've recently decided to go 'Green' so I thought this would be a good place to start. Little did I know the reason it was on sale was because the company was selling OLD OUTDATED makeup; a fact which was verified by the numbers on the inside bottom flap of the box - RMS verified this for me. I was completely stunned that a company this large with a good reputation (so I thought) would sell OLD makeup. It had a horrible smell and was sticky!

    Neiman Marcus would like you to think that their return policy is easy, it's not; especially in today's world. Because of that, I went directly to RMS and asked them if they could help. I explained that by Neiman Marcus selling OLD product, it was giving their company a bad name and it wasn't fair to them. To make things right, they sent me out 4 FRESH tubes of lipstick and I LOVE THEM! RMS is an awesome brand with GREAT Customer Service, who values their customers and protects their brand. Moral of the story, don't buy from Neiman Marcus, they obviously don't care about their customers. Buy directly from RMS, they care!

    Let me start out by saying that mistakes happen. My issue is not with a mistake per se, but with the way in which Neiman Marcus handled, or in this case mis-handled, an embedded operational issue that resulted in a series of erroneous shipments stretching out over a month. Without delving into the granular details, I placed an order for a household item, which was intended as a Valentine’s Day gift for my spouse, on January 10, 2020. One could reasonably expect that an order placed a month in advance would be received by 2/14, right? Unfortunately, my assumption was wrong as evidence by the following sequence:

    • 1/17 – received wrong item
    • 1/24 – received right item, wrong color
    • 1/31 – received wrong item originally received on 1/17
    • 2/7 – received wrong item originally received on 1/17

    • 2/14 – received wrong item originally received on 1/17

    The abbreviated summary above omits the extensive time spent on multiple phone calls, each with a different customer service representative or supervisor, to repeatedly explain the issue. I was advised by a supervisor, Monika, on 2/7 that the issue stemmed from an incorrect item # on the vendor’s side. Monika re-assured me that the issue would be addressed via direct contact with the vendor and that I would receive the proper item by 2/14.

    Lo and behold, on 2/14, I received the same incorrect item for the fourth time. Upon speaking to a second supervisor, Latawn, on 2/14, I was advised that the issue was operational and required further investigation. I requested a call back for a status update on 2/18 and Latawn confirmed that she would indeed accommodate such request. Perhaps a call back request is unreasonably burdensome, as I have yet to receive a call back from Latawn (or anyone for that matter) as of 2/21. Or perhaps I am naïve to have expected anyone to assume ownership of the issue, so shame on me.

    Bottom line, I can say with 100% certainty that this has been the most horrendous customer service experience I’ve ever encountered in my 39 years. For a company that purportedly prides itself on customer service, Neiman Marcus has failed to deliver on its mission of customer satisfaction. The disregard of my time and exasperation is downright insulting. I literally pleaded with the supervisors to help resolve the issue, to no avail.

    As a first time Neiman Marcus customer, I am appalled by the neglect and lack of professionalism. Fortunately, the competitive landscape in retail is robust and there are alternatives to Neiman Marcus, with which I will never again conduct business. While I cannot fault an organization for a mistake, the apathetic response to a mistake is inexcusable.

    I ordered a $299 small round rose box, they sent me a $39 single rose. I contacted customer service immediately and told them I needed the order by a specific date, since the person I was giving it to was leaving the country for 7 months (these roses only last a year). I was told that the roses would arrive before the date. Two days later, I got a charge on my credit card for the same amount. I checked my credit card statement and saw 2 of the same charges (and no refund/credit). I contacted customer service again, and was told that I was getting refunded for my original order, and was charged for the replacement order. I was not informed about the refund/re-charge. I then checked the tracking for the replacement order, and the expected delivery date was after the specified date, so now I'll have to send back the order when it arrives (late). Horrible customer service for such a big luxury company and such a waste of my time.

    The salesperson who helped me was Kepra ** from the Neiman Marcus at The Hudson Yards Store in New York. Only in town for two days, I wasn't comfortable with what I had packed. Kepra helped me find exactly what I needed. Kepra was assuring as I am not the model-size that I felt Neiman's caters too. I was surprised to find something I was looking for in the store. I bought two items! I texted Kepra photos as I wore one in the afternoon and one at night. I could not be more pleased with the top shelf service I received as a mere mortal!

    I have had my eye on a cardigan (Lafayette 148) for a couple of months but at $648, I thought I would wait for a sale. For over a week for their regular sized customers, NM has listed this with $400 off the list price. However, in plus-sized clothing, the cardigan is still at $648. I called and complained but that is not the point. Why are plus-sized people gouged for money while regular sized people get the bargains?     I bought a $62.00 bottle of Dior Airflash Spray Foundation. I used it twice and it quit spraying. Customer service wouldn't work with me fairly at all. They said I could order another can of $62.00 foundation with a small discount.     Sometimes it takes me a little while to make a decision about certain purchases. I enjoy being able to shop in a brick and mortar store, try on a product before I purchase it, and have the convenience of making returns in person. With Neiman Marcus I can shop in the store but not feel forced to make a purchase right then and there. I can try on something for size and touch the product to feel for quality and then I can go home and make my purchase online! This works perfectly for me! And, if I change my mind, I can easily take my purchase in to the store for return or exchange! I love it!

    Purchased bedding and was promised 25% discount as I just missed the sale the day before, and selected express post and 2 weeks later still nothing but they just kept fobbing me off. Finally they tell me it's lost and I need to reorder, so I did this and they promised me another 10% off. Finally they sent it and 1 person told me I will get discount 5-7days... still nothing. To top it off the fitted sheet I ordered was meant to be patterned as the picture shows... and it turned up plain white. She said it was my fault. I should have known:s as the selection says white, to me this just meant that the main background is white and it was the only selection available so you go off the picture... Still haven't resolved the issue a month later, but no for sure I will never buy from there again!

    We bought the 100 ml Jo Malone Cologne for 140 dollars from NM. The package arrived with all the gifts but missing the cologne we bought. We contacted with NM customer service immediately. They are super confident that it's our mistake or FedEx's issue. And they told us that they have the record of the weight of every piece in the package. So the customers can never fraud them. Then we ask them the weight info to compare with what we got. They made up all the info according to the size of these products. These results definitely incorrect which what we actually measured. OK, they treat us like monkeys. They just want to make excuses and threaten us. NM shirks their responsibility to FedEx and the customers for this mistake. Never did they doubt that the packager in NM forgot to put the item inside.

    Finally, after tens of emails, they agree to resend the product FOR THE COURTESY! Amazing thing happens again, they make another charge to my credit card with no reason and no notification. Now, we spent 298 dollars for the Cologne and hours of debating with them. I decided to contact my credit company for this theft. Yes, NM is the theft! We will never ever shop in NM!

    I bought a pair of shoes online - I tried them on at home and they did not fit. I sent them back to get a back a refund. Neiman Marcus refused to take the shoes back which are unworn and in their original package as per their requirements. I spoke with two different representatives. Neither one was willing or able to do anything to help. They instead offered me a $25 credit. It seems they don’t really care very much about their customers or the shopping experience and I will be shopping elsewhere.

Today I discovered that it would take 7 business days and would miss my event. I called customer service and the lady simply didn’t care. I asked her to call FedEx. Well, she did and she didn’t put me on hold, so I could hear the whole conversation. It was the following: ‘I have a customer asking why the package takes longer to deliver’; FedEx: ‘we take 4-7 business days to ship’: lady from NM ‘oh, okay. That’s it that. Bye’. Then my call got disconnected! Paying $500 for a dress I at least expect it to arrive on time and also some care when it comes to customer needs. This is my last time shopping at Neiman Marcus.

    I ordered an evening dress for the wedding and it was very disappointed, I can not believe it dress was coming from Neiman Marcus. If they offer this dress to anybody for $10 I don't think anyone will buy it. I did pay $455.0 for it. I had a hard time to return it. They would not give me a printable label to return it. It took me few day and many hours on phone. Finally they told me to drop the package at FedEx. I do not buy never anything from Neiman Marcus.

    I ordered an evening dress for the wedding and it was too big. I shipped the item back to the next day via the return label provided. After a week I checked my cc card activity to see if the refund was posted. There was no credit. I tried to track the package but have come to find out it was untrackable. I've been on the phone with NM several times just to find out that return label was never scanned to initiate the shipment. They suggested filing a claim with the USPS. I did. The USPS doesn't have it in their system. I called the USPS customer service and was told that NM uses their own tracking system. They said that often it doesn't get scanned until the package gets back to their location. Since the returns are handled by the third party, it is impossible to know who is responsible for the return and it is impossible to track the package.

    My bill is due in 2 weeks and the dress was around $500. I was hoping to do an exchange once I get the credit, but at this point, I am just happy to get the credit. I called back customer service this morning and was assured that this never happens. Well, it is not true. I went online to discover that I am not the only one with this problem. The exact experience was shared online by several people. I am so appalled and disappointed with NM customer service and the way they handle online business. What a letdown!

    I had been rebuilding my credit after my sister stole my identity. And in January of 2017 Neiman Marcus approved me. I have kept balances low. Paid on time way more than minimum if not paid off every month. I have been a customer for over 2 and a half years. My credit is better. I make way more money as I work and co own three salons. And they refuse to increase my credit. They just keep saying, "sorry", they don’t care. And I don’t either. I am paying it off and will not has it again. If they don’t care about the people who shop with them I will throw the card in a drawer and never use it again. I’m really disappointed. Wanted to give 0 stars.

    I called NM today to place a catalog order on my NM card that I have had for 40 years. I was told that my account was closed (news to me) so I asked to speak to accounting. I was transferred to a Capital One where I was told they no longer serviced my account (news to me I never knew they did). Then I was connected to a debit collection service (news to me). This occurred 1 year ago. I never got a statement from NM. I never got a 2nd notice. I never got a courtesy letter. NOTHING. Nothing from the debt collector. Does this seem a little fishy? After 40 years they can KISS MY **. A copy of this will go to the credit bureau. I USED TO LOVE NM.

    On 1/3/2019 I purchased a pocketbook, the online special at the time was spend 2000 and get a 300 promotional gift card to use at Neiman Marcus.     If I could rate their service I would do 0 stars, why in the world would you keep charging the card until the item is delivered every 7 days. Is it our fault it’s taking a month or two months to deliver. I purchased 6500$ of furniture which ended up saying the delivery will be in 2 months after I purchased the items. They keep charging me 6500 every seven days as preauthorization which my bank drops in ten days... You better have a good credit limit or else you basically won’t be able to use your credit card until the item is shipped. Now every seven days I have 6500 being charged and my available balance to use is maxed out. It does drop on the 11th day from my credit card company but then there is already two previous ones preauthorized. So all in all I don’t have a card until these items are shipped. Horrible customer service and insane policy.

    I ordered sandals online and they appeared as (in stock) in the size I wanted. I purchased on my Neiman's cc & one week later I received an email for my {immediate action required} to a.) cancel the item, b.) wait 3 months from the date I purchased or c.) wait indefinitely! Wow! LOL!! The money was taken out of my Neiman's cc and no refund was issued. When I called twice I was transferred each time I was on hold for over an hour. Bottom line I was transferred several times with no help. What a joke. I’m done with this store. This isn’t the first time either..     I just had the worst customer service experience with Neiman Marcus. I talked to three different agents via online chat. They are all bullies. For example, when Ricardo **, one of the agent, did not feel like answering the questions anymore, he simply just dropped the conversation and left my questions to another agent.     Truly disappointed and very upset at NM. Here is why? I purchased a YSL bag and decided to take advantage of the gift card promo instead of going to the boutique. I figured, getting a GC is worth than getting a box and better purchase experience. Well, lo and behold it's not been 4 months and still no gift card! The worst part is having to waste my time chasing after a gift card that was owed to me!! SO BEWARE people, while a gift card is not chasing after it is not worth it. IT'S A SCAM!!!     I recently purchased three different shades of eye shadows online along with other items, and they messed up on the colors. I went to the store, and a very snooty sales lady sent me to customer service for a return. The customer service person had to call in to do the return because it was purchased with a gift card. Well, the customer service did a return by MANUALLY placing the credit amount on a physical gift card then ordered the correct with the physical gift card. This was done over the phone with a computer in front of them. DUMBEST procedure I have ever experienced. BTW, they sent the wrong shade again.

    Ordered a Jovani dress for prom, paid $660. When the dress came it was a completely different dress. When I looked online the dress they sent me was $485 so they purposely changed tags. The dress I wanted was sold out in my size and they did nothing to compensate for me not getting the dress I wanted for my prom. So surprised that this is Neiman Marcus a supposed upscale store.     Beware that Neiman Marcus will take forever to refund you for an online return! I purchased a dress during a Last Call promotion. It didn't fit so I immediately returned it. I received an email a 10 days later that they received the return and will be processing my refund. They CHARGED me $9.95 for the return shipping that day, but no refund. It is now 12 days later and no refund. I've had to open a charge back claim to get my money back, calls to NM customer service resulted in them telling me just to wait. Absolutely ridiculous! In this day and age, online service should be seamless. I also find it ridiculous that they charge such high rates for shipping and return shipping. Never shopping with them again!

    My elder sister & I both placed our own order on different day but during Neiman Marcus Nov. 2018 GC EVENT. I spent $3200 & she spent over $3000 as well qualifying $750 Gift Card each order. We were supposed to get the GC not later than the end of Jan... but not received. Then we both contact NM Customer Srvc. & was told ONLY one order qualified for the GC promotion. They won’t issue another one for my sister because we live in the same house, same address… Was told it’s NM policy. Excuse me? What’s the issue for different person, different payment card!

    We work hard to have some savings bought this house together to save lots of living cost, is that a problem for siblings live in the same house? So, Big question mark?? For those people who live in the same house can not purchase from same online store? Like some college students they live in the same dorm, same rental home, etc.…

    And another question: I placed one day earlier than my sister, so why at the time when she placed her order the following day, NM ONLINE System didn’t show any info. that “this shipping address already been used once to have the GC promotion, and one address only qualified for one GC!” If so, she wouldn’t had spent more to buy anything from NM online!

    Soooo unacceptable, ridiculous so-called policy. It’s completely a fraud. Neiman Marcus stole her $750. And another trick was told "NM has only 60 days return policy". But they only issue the GC after 60 days! Yes. They refused to issue the GC BUT you can not do anything & you can not return it even you felt cheated! PS: Who would ever read the tiny font policy from a website when they try to buy something?

    I ordered a women's pyjama set for my elderly mother for $189.67 plus taxes and shipping = $259.30. An expensive purchase for my family. I received the wrong item (dressing gown, not pyjamas), with a swing tag advertising a lower price. I've contacted Neiman Marcus three times over two weeks asking for assistance to return the item (it can't be returned without a specific a Return Merchandise Authorisation form which only they can provide.)     I will return later in week to relay the details of my experience with Neiman Marcus (NM). For now, I seriously cannot in good conscience let another minute go by that I can exercise my duty to assist others via this site in hopes of preventing another potential customer from having to endure what I have over the past week in dealing with NM — during multiple botched transactions involving me having to LITERALLY spend three entire hours in online chat sessions with unbelievably incompetent, inept, inadequately trained & apathetic customer service representatives (CSR’s) — despite repeatedly, politely but but firmly —requesting to speak immediately to a supervisor — & having spent over fifteen hundred dollars ($1,500+). One CSR even went so far as to intentionally delete portions of our chat transcript in a covert effort to make our conversation appear differently than it had in actuality.

    Fortunately, I had the good sense to take screenshots of the entire chat throughout its duration & prior to her having done so, this poses documentable proof of the truth, & fully intend to make it my mission to spread the word regarding my experience via every topical social media resource available to me & as well as post multiple reviews relaying exactly what occurred on consumer protection sites such as this.

    I received this item which Neiman representative said is only at their store, but they wouldn't give a a store credit without a receipt. They said I should contact the giver and get one. I asked for the Store manager who said "the computer system doesn't allow for entries like that"... We ALL know that as a manager, especially a store manager, he could of done it. He choose not to and gave me a hard time for the $80 credit. I said I'd shop right then, but he stuck to his guns. Now I know why the store is empty and people refer to this store as "needless markup". I donated the gift and will spread the word for everyone to NOT shop there.

    I purchased a pair of Cole Haan boots (over $100, not cheap) and within two months, a bolt of some sort starting coming into the interior of the heel. It makes it impossible to wear the boots as one side is very uncomfortable and hurts. I contacted the store and they said they could not do anything about it, (fix or replace) 30 days after purchase.     I bought a Bally pair of shoes and they got unstitched the first time I used them. I called CS to ask them about what I can do. They told me, "Bring them to the store because you bought them on February 17, 2020". I proceed to drive to Galleria Mall NM on Fort Lauderdale. At my surprise the employee told me "We don't receive that back". I ask her to contact CS and when she call we wait 28 minutes and then needed to ask for a supervisor.     Purchased 4 bath towels online from Neiman Marcus during holiday season 2018. Upon receiving the towels washed them according to the instructions. Upon removing from the washer, all 4 towels were defective - fraying and threads undone. Contacted Neiman Marcus about experience and requested refund and return. During holidays Neiman's stated they had extended return time window, and we were well within the timeframe. Contacted customer service and rep apologized and accepted the return and provide a return authorization. Today we receive the towels back with a typewritten letter stating that they were now refusing the return.     Reason for the complaint: items bought during promotion period which were entitled to pre-set amount of gift cards have yet to come after 3 and half months. Reason for the mistake: one of the qualified items was EXCHANGED at local store. Verification of such a measure was consented by online and in-store reps confirming no impact will be on gift cards prior to the exchange was made (since I saw this coming).

    Just like what I thought, Rep wrongfully coded the exchanged item, original order was affected, disqualified for the originally guaranteed gift card amount. Multiple phone calls and in-store follow-up did not result in complete resolution of this case. Other stores like Bloomingdales offer on-site instantaneous price OFF during promotion period, much easier and better policy, I would recommend avoid Neiman Marcus during holiday shopping period.

    Complaint Type: Refund / Exchange Issues. Description of Complaint: I have been a customer of Neiman Marcus for about 15 year or more. This is the first time I express my deep disappointment and dissatisfaction with firstly customer service at the cosmetic counter and secondly about handling my complaint by store manager. This is the summary of what happened. On 1/22/19 I stopped by at NM Paramus NJ store to get a sample of the expensive perfume by Tom Ford. The sales associate couldn’t provide me with such and I ended up buying a full small bottle of the perfume as a gift to a person. 2 days later I came back to the store with the intention to return or exchange a perfume since the person who I gifted it to didn’t like it.

    Completely unaware I was greeted by the different sales associate by saying the return of the perfume can NOT be made since the cover is no longer on the box. The perfume was obviously opened because the person needed to see/smell what is inside. She pointed to the return policy on the back of the receipt where there is nothing specified regarding the perfume or cosmetics. We tried to get help from the cosmetic manager on the floor by the name of Elisa ** who didn’t bother to talk to me or accommodate my return at all. I was sent upstairs to customer service department, while I was walking there a phone call was made by Elisa ** not to assist any further.

    I was only suggested to speak to the Customer reps by dialing 800 number. I called and again got no help, was provided with another suggestion to contact general store manager Brook **. I emailed Mrs **. She replied promptly but in her reply she only repeated that there’s a store policy not to accept items without tags attached or altered that doesn’t apply to the box of perfume at all. After a phone call from Brook ** I clearly understand why there are so many customers complaining about NM store, its policy and overall customer care in recent years. From the high end customer oriented department store this NM became one of many downgraded places.

    I recently bought a Creed perfume and wanted to sample some other scent. I waited at the counter for 10 mins before the salesperson showed up. When I asked if I could have some sample, the sales lady - Mary gave me a big fuss how the sample perfume they have are running low on stock and how she have to spray into the bottle then uttered “you can only pick two”. I was shocked being treated this way. Shopping at NM Palo Alto is a mistake. I’ll stick with Nordstrom in future.

    I ordered a Jimmy Choo shoes online after Thanksgiving. I received a used pair of shoes. Bottom dirty and one of the shoes with no paper inside to keep the form of the shoe.     I bought two dresses for my daughters at the Phoenix Neiman Marcus on 12/15/2018 in the Dress Dept. One dress was $247.00 and the other dress was $200.00. I happened to be back there on 12/21/2018 & saw that the $247.00 dress was marked down online to $185. I had my receipt & it was less than a week. Julie the manager from the dress Dept was called out & said to me she would not honor the price adjustment because it was on sale already. I had bought 3 other dresses that same day besides these two dresses. I said, "Well I can just return the dress & rebuy it online."     Ordered a pair of UGG gloves as a gift with their "promised" next day delivery. FedEx did not deliver them the next day and I was told If I wanted them sooner than Christmas Eve would have to get them myself from FedEx. I called the store and was told there was nothing they could do. The supervisor was rude and simply stated there was nothing she could do. I asked how was that when they do most millions of dollars in business with this company. It was not even troublesome to them that they use a company that in my experience have had multiple problems with. They use this company and promote free overnight shipping to get you to buy things from them and they do not care at all that this is not the case and offer nothing for your trouble.     I applied for the Neiman Marcus credit card and went through all the criteria to get approved by the bank. When I received my card I went and made a purchase for Christmas. Their customer service is horrible. They would not put the order through saying I had to submit a pay stub and picture ID. I had no problem sending over a picture ID but a pay stub really. I was approved based on my credit and now I can’t use it because they decided I needed to send a pay stub. As I told them they are racial profiling because I’m middle eastern and not one of the rich and famous. Terrible company and this is the first of many complaints I intend to make.

    We have been credit card NM customers for decades. We don't use the card hardly anymore due to the interest rate as of December, 2018 for 25.99%!! Our credit is excellent so why such a high rate? If we shop there at all we'll use a different cc card, it goes without saying. It's not even worth the time to call and request a lower percentage; it's that aggravating. Their point system has also declined over the years. So much different than Nordstrom.

    Neiman Marcus accepts returns but fails on customer service when it comes to shipping and keeping your money tied up for weeks. I shipped my return to the company late November from Colorado. It was received, according to tracking information, in Grapevine, Texas where it has sat for 10 days and counting. No information, updates or money back. Absolutely horrendous experience when compared to Amazon (refund as soon as the item is scanned by the post office). Neiman uses a cut rate shipping company with the WORST reviews called Newgistics. This company doesn't care about customers of their retail clients as it does not have a phone system that will actually connect you with a Customer Service rep. I am really aggravated and HATE Neiman Marcus. Great strategy: screw your customer and give them no information about the refund.

    It took me 5 times to finally tell me that they couldn't place the gift card order over the phone. 1. Online - does not work. Tried other credit cards, still saying it wasn't working. 2. Chat guy, telling me to clean cache and to call 888 number. 3. Calling the 888 for them to tell me to call the 214 number. 4. A lady Shauna, to tell me I got the right number but not the right extension. 5. I got the right extension just to be told the same as the chat guy and that she "couldn't" place the order over the phone, finally someone told me that. It will be so simply to avoid any headaches of wasting people time by saying, "Our online system is done through a 3rd party. System is down and NO, we don't place orders over the phone." What a nightmare. I spent over an hour on this, time I could spend with my family. Thanks NM for your such great needless markup service.

    I ordered a shoes for my birthday dinner on November 23rd and I paid the 2 days shipping so I could get it on before my birthday. I didn’t get it I called to cancel it the day the said that I was going to get it.     I purchased a Moncler Hermine Coat ($1,695.00) online last Sunday at 4 pm. It was supposed to be a 2-day shipping. Tuesday morning rolls around, I waited patiently for the shipping information but none came. So I went onto their website for the live chat with an associate. She said there was a delay because it was being shipped out from a store instead of a warehouse. I was assured that the merchandise will be delivered by Friday. It is Thursday today and I still haven’t gotten a shipping info, so I call NM again this morning at 11 am. They tell me that the expected delivery date is 12/3!!!! I am furious and they tell me that they are sorry for the delay and will change the shipping to next-day shipping and I will have the coat by end of business day tomorrow. I checked my e-mail every hour, waiting for the shipping email, and at 3:30 pm, I log onto NM and find out that my order has been CANCELLED!!!!

    I was furious and called NM and asked them how they can just cancel an order without even notifying me first. They said that this “JUST” took place and that I will be getting an email later today. There was a store that had the coat in stock, but they just found out that it wasn’t there anymore. It took them 5 days after I placed my order to figure out that they do NOT have the merchandise in stock. I don’t understand why it took them 5 days to finally decide to try to ship out my order when it was supposed to have been a 2-day shipping in the first place!!! I ordered this coat during their Black Friday promotion. I am supposed to get a $200 gift card with a qualifying order of $1,000 or more. Now I am out of a coat and my $200 gift card. All NM is saying is that they are “sorry” and there is nothing they can do. RIDICULOUS!!!! What a TERRIBLE customer service and solution for their mistake!!!! This is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!!

    I bought 3 items. I returned 2 due to not fitting properly. Neiman Marcus only refunded one item. They did not scan my parcel properly at the processing centre. They refused to honour their mistake. I am $300 out of pocket. Never ever buy online from Neiman Marcus. They are incompetent and dishonest.

    I order online daily. Almost no issues ever. I placed an order with NM on items that there was only one left. My card was authorized just fine. 3 hours later I get an email that my order was canceled because they couldn't verify my information. What in the world does that mean? No one called or tried to verify anything. Calling NM - first time I call "there is no one available to take your call. Bye" WHAT?!! Second time I call it goes to a person that sounds like a robot and barely speaks English. They ask me the same questions 5 times, "wait" "wait" "wait". 30 minutes later nothing is resolved. "I'm looking for the email you received". Seriously, tell me if it's canceled and why, it's not that hard. Email states I need to place the order again. It won't go through this time. Screw all this, I'll stick to Bloomingdales!

    I recently received a catalogue for Horchow.com that featured a 30% savings on what I thought was Match Pewter. In an effort to clarify the authenticity, I visited our local NM retailer. I was told that the Horchow product was likely a lower quality and that the price advertised could not be matched in store. The associate was kind enough to call Horchow and confirmed in my presence that the products in catalogue and in store were the same quality. I was denied access to purchase in store because a ‘manager’ was convinced that his in store quality was different. I attempted to get further clarification via live chat and over a one hour period; received contradictory information about the product I intended to buy.

    I was able to confirm in writing and was told the products were one in the same and indeed Match Pewter. When I attempted to purchase online, the 30% site wide discount would not apply. I referenced the exclusions online and Match was not a vendor disclosed. I called customer service and they too were perplexed. I was not able to make a purchase today. Needless to say I am disappointed, disillusioned, and no longer a consumer interested in doing business with the NM brands. I feel like their advertising was false and their customer service representatives (although courteous and professional) are set up to fail.

    I ordered the Ziip device & gel duo which is well over $500. The shipping department just sent the gel, not the very expensive device. When I called customer service to ask them to send me the device, they said that they couldn't do that and that I would have to send the gel back (a hassle in and of itself). They also said that they would only refund me my money once they got the gel back and then recharge my card for the device. SO INEFFICIENT when all they had to do to solve the issue was ship my missing device. The absolute worst shipping and customer service experience. I told them I just wanted a refund and that I will be taking my business elsewhere.

    I ordered a pair of shoes almost $300. Didn't receive my package but tracking shows delivered inside my mailbox. I called them and tells me to call back in 3 days because it is too early to file a claim. I've called them 4 times total with different information every time. It's almost been 20 days since supposedly my package was delivered and I just talked to Neiman today and they said a claim was filed last week. So what were they doing during the whole time?     I placed an online order and paid with my credit card with no problems. Or so I thought. I then received an email from NM stating my credit card did not go through. I immediately called NM and verified my cc info and it was the same as what I have on my cc. I then turned around and called my cc company and verified I had placed the order with NM and it was approved again. I kept getting emails from NM stating payment was not going through.

    I finally got a call from a 1800 number from some person stating she had to again verify my address and cc number. Of course I did not give it to her since I could not identify where the call was coming from. So in the end my order was canceled after numerous calls to NM and my cc company. On top of that I lost a $75 promotion coupon I had received from CouponCabin. Worst online experience ever and I shop online daily! Call to Supervisor got me nowhere but asked if I wanted to place order again! NO thank you for the hassle!

    I bought a La Mer Concentrate in March 2018 but didn't use it till September. My friend wants to buy it from me so I decided to re-sell to her. My friend want to check expiration date, after I punch in code at the bottom of the packages, it shows the product was manufacture in March 2010!!! Unbelievable!     I placed an order for a Tom Ford Tuxedo which keep in mind is a hefty purchase of $5000. Estimated delivery was suppose to be 2 days after the purchase, however two days after my item still said processing. So I gave customer service a call to which I was told that the billing department has to confirm my information and that I should expect a call within a day. Waiting, waiting, waiting and of course I receive no call. So I call back and I get the same exact beat around the bush answer that it will ship "soon." What does soon mean?! So to cover my grounds I order another tux from their website so I can assure that maybe 1 of the 2 will come. Next day I get an email that not only has my item not shipped, but they are trying to locate it. Seriously?

    All this time and they haven't even located it yet?! I'd like to know why such a renowned company like Neiman has nonexistent inventory on their website and can't locate merchandise in their warehouse. So I give Neiman a call and of course customer service is very unhelpful. I was transferred to the highest manager whom told me she was going to contact the warehouse but obviously she can't get in touch with them. How ridiculous is it that. I am so fed up with their service and will never buy from them again. No one should make the same mistake I did. The stress and anxiety that this has incurred on me is beyond words.

    Tory Burch Jelly sandals on sale for $47 down from $98 in MY size (11) Woohoo! Chose color (ivory) and went Immediately to check out. "Sorry this item is no longer available." I was disappointed, so looked for a similar pair because now I really wanted them. It's hard to find a stylish pair of ivory/white sandals. So I found what looked nearly identical advertised as leather for the $98 price. I'll pay that for leather. Guess what? I received the exact pair of JELLY (plastic) sandals I wanted in the first place. For $98. I have emailed SIX times with detailed photos of the item, the style number, TB website info, etc. These people refuse to admit fault or refund the difference in price. At this point it's just the principle that counts. Feels like classic bait-and-switch. I will never shop at Neiman Marcus again. But I will be going into a location near me to straighten this out!

    Nothing is sadder in the world of retail than seeing the iconic store go down to the level of any local five and dime store (do they still have those)? Neiman's used to be the epitome of customer service excellence, and I felt privileged shopping there. Now, it's anything but. The music is loud and blaring of rap music as if at a local bar, the service reps cannot be bothered with anything other than their own agenda, and the merchandise is inconsistent. It isn't totally their fault; the best of the best have all taken a nosedive. Talbots, another fave, has also morphed into the cheap zone, and even Chanel is unrecognizable. So, for this great disappointment of being a loyal customer for 35 years, I have closed my account and will shop online directly from the manufacturers when I need something. This Boomer Girl is sad to see a good thing end, though enough is enough for this Dallasite.

    I have to get really mad to posts reviews and Neiman Marcus has infuriated me. I purchased an expensive Valentino bag online and then a friend told me that the bag is 60% off at Saks and Barneys and 4 other retail stores. Since I placed the order already I would assume with all the money I spend at Neiman's and I'm a good customer they would price match because they say they will. Saks and Barneys and Harrods had a couple of bags left. I emailed Neiman Marcus the link but by the time almost 2 days later they reviewed it the bags were all sold out. The same exact bag. They are claiming they can't price match unless it's in stock. I would have bought the bag yesterday or the day before somewhere else. They have proof of the bag being 60% off at more than 4 competitor stores. They are selling this bag and tins of other full price.

    This is disgusting and the fact that they won't price match is horrific since they were in stock when I originally contacted them. Their customer service is horrible. No wonder the stores look like they are going to **. Maybe they are going bankrupt. They are ripping off customers left and right. I will NEVER shop here again. I have worked in retail as a manager and this is appalling.

    I had purchase a pair last 7/2017 online. I started to wear the shoes this year, Chloe shoes had lace started to tear apart cost me 142$ on sale, and Isabel Marant Jaeryn studded 360$ on sale shoe unable to snap, I told them I went to shoe repair stores they were not able to fix them. I called the designer's customer services, they told me the would not able to fix because I did not purchase from them, it had to be address by Neiman Marcus. I called Neiman just to have those repairs not return however they told they not be able to return and not even fix because it almost a year, buyer be aware of my experience.

    Just really tired of Neiman Marcus and their processes altogether. I have so many complaints. For one, after having their in store credit card for over 3 YEARS and with nothing but on time payments, I requested a credit limit increase. I requested 2 maybe 3 on each card that I own with them. There was a credit increase that took place without my knowledge and when I tried to place a final limit increase on a card it was increased all the way to $17k, which I ABSOLUTELY did NOT request an amount that high and asinine. My card was IMMEDIATELY placed on hold and I was banned from making any purchases until I sent proof of income. I explained to the guy who was in charge of my audit several times, that I NEVER requested an increase that high, and I even requested a limit decrease. Nothing was ever resolved and now I am banned from making purchases with my card after 3 YEARS of little to no missed payments.

    The customer service is also a nightmare. Each time you speak with a representative, they each give you a different story. No one is ever on the same page. When I place store orders online, they are cancelled without my knowledge and no explanation is ever given until I call up customer service EXTREMELY IRATE. All they care about is making money, and do not care about their customers. I am done with Neiman Marcus after all this treatment.

    I will never purchase another item from Neiman Marcus. I ordered a custom envelope engraver and it came to my house with the incorrect capitalization of my last name. I was annoyed but understood that mistakes happen so I called customer service. After more than 20 minutes on the phone, I was told a new item would be shipped with the correct last name. Today the replacement arrived with the EXACT SAME MISTAKE! After another lengthy call, I was told I would receive a refund once FedEx could pick the item up, which would not be for several days. Then as if I wasn't angry enough, the "supervisor" asked me if I wanted to keep the item for 50% off!? Seriously? Why would I want to keep an item with my last name incorrect? I'm going to send out envelopes and let people think I don't know my own last name!? It was incredibly insulting.

    I am so upset. Employees has access to our personal accounts and address on a employee cell phone. I went to shop a few days ago in Los Angeles and to my surprise the sales rep Micheal discussed my purchases with another salesperson Brooke who called someone I knew and told them of my purchases and gave them my address. Micheal and Brooke also told the person who does not work at the store who I was with and talked so badly about that person. I am so upset that my security of my account details were compromised to a 3rd party. I am contacting an attorney. This is scary. My home address was given to an outside person. I went in to speak to the manager Mr ** and still have not heard anything back.

    I ordered an expensive gift and paid for one-day delivery. That was three days ago. They missed the delivery they proposed (before I paid) today and likely to miss it tomorrow. Worse, they have not yet given me a TRACKING #. They refuse to cancel the sale even when I said no one would be able to retrieve a late delivered package this week and it may be stolen if left out for days. They have lost the package.

    This is not the first time they have changed the delivery date I paid extra for. It's become customary for them to lie, make excuses, blame the buyer, etc. It is Bait and Switch to offer terms to a purchase contract and then change them once the deal is made. Would have bought elsewhere. Last week I received an expensive coat - on time - that arrive with dog hairs and a stuck zipper. Obviously it had been returned and never checked. Neiman Marcus pretends to cater to higher wealth customers with luxe merchandise but they are behaving worse than a K-Mart. They have lost me. Horrible customer service, used goods shipped... Stay away.

    Ordered a large amount of Christmas shopping online with Neiman Marcus during Black Friday sales - after waiting well past the expected delivery date I called them to be told that they had cancelled all the orders, and don't notify the customer of the cancellation because it could be fraud and they didn't want a potential fraudster to know the had cancelled the order! What a load of rubbish. Of course all the items are now sold-out or back to full price and would require expedited shipping to arrive on time. Every other company if they have a query with the billing information will contact you to resolve it, not Neiman Marcus. They are the most unprofessional, unorganised and downright incompetent organisation. They will hopefully be out of business very soon.

    I purchased a Saint Laurent handbag from NM. Was supposed to get it in 2 day shipping but took a week to receive purse. Purse sent was the wrong purse. My purse was for $2,290 and I received a smaller bag which cost $1550. I called customer service and was told I had to ship the purse back to them and then reorder after they have checked and confirmed the purse. I am very disappointed because not only this mistake cause me not to be able to take my purse with me on vacation, it also caused me to lose the $750 gift card they were giving out as well as the 12% cash back from Ebates. Very disappointed. Will never order from them again.

    I received a gift by email but did not need what was sent so I opted for an online gift card. I tried to apply this to a purchase and it charged my card and did not deduct the value of the online gift card. I spent several hours and spoke to about 8 people trying to sort this out. Their customer service is so disconnected that one hand has no clue what the other is doing. I got an email saying they would refund the gift giver for my aggravation. NO, do not let the gift giver know I did not accept their gift! I finally got someone to refund the value of my gift card. I hope they do not contact the gift sender but I am not holding my breath.

A night evening dress was purchased by my wife, an attempt was made to return the dress and its original condition Within their return policy. The tags were underdressed it was clearly unworn, However Neiman Marcus will find any excuse not to return the dress.     I ordered a Burberry coat online from this company along with a Tory Burch shoe because they had it on black Friday special. Delivery date stated was Nov. 24. I waited until the following Monday but nothing showed up. I contacted customer service live chat and they told me the order was canceled because they cannot match my billing information with my bank!!!! Bluff stories!!!!     The absolute worst experience ever! Wanted to surprise my gf with a pair CL heels. Ordered online and was given an arrival date on 10/30. 10/28 email stating having an issue filling the order. I called customer service and was advised to cancel the order and reorder. I did just that. As of 10/30 I had purchased 2 pairs of $700 heels. I elected to pick up at the store. 10/31 no updates... called again. Was told another issue with the order. I purchased A THIRD TIME. Was given free shipping for trouble. Well gf checked to see delivery time and order was cancelled AGAIN!! Called again and same old story, trouble filling the order! I told them to ** off. Refund me my money and I will buy from Saks.     I ordered some dishes from Neiman Marcus and they have shipped me the wrong ones twice now. I returned them and it has been over a month and I still haven't received a credit for them on my credit card account, nor have I received the correct ones. I have been on hold with the customer service department now for 30 minutes. This has happened to me every time I have called them. I can't get anyone to pick up (irritating music while on hold) or they disconnect me. They can't get my order right and then make me pay again when they place an order for the correct ones but continue to ship me the wrong ones. They told me it can take over a month to get a credit to my account.

    I will never do business with Neiman Marcus again due to their poor customer service and not being able to get an order right to save their life. I am out hundreds of dollars. I guess my next step is to call the credit card company and tell them I never received my merchandise and I refuse to pay for the charges. Neiman Marcus has really gone downhill. I see them going under if they continue this trend. No one wants to do business with a store that has lousy customer service and their shipping department can't get an order correct.

    Purchsed a Gucci GG Blooms Reversible Tote bag. Ordered online and picked up from store (WESTCHESTER MALL NM). I did not bother checking the bag thoroughly as it was nicely packed in a gift wrap (even if I did not asked for it). I checked out my new bag as soon as I got home and found a few folds in the middle of it and scuffs in the corners. Gucci Bag Tag has a name, address and number (might be from a previous owner) who knows. He/She has a California address and I'm from NY. I'm assuming I got a returned/used item bag. By the way it looks. Called a CS that lacks empathy of the situation. I was told that they will send a return label and replace the item. I never got a return label for the first item. Received another disaster replacement that is a Gucci bag on different style and finding a piece of postal stamp and a piece of straw cover inside (btw the bag smells funny too).

    I'm not surprised that they sent me another return/used bag for the second time around. I was helped by another CS that lacks empathy of the situation again. But at least she sent me a return label. A week has passed. The first shipping label for the first item I picked up did not arrived. I received an email from NM stating that they will charge me if I don't return the bag. Sounds very shady! I called again for the return label for the first bag that I got and surprisingly they sent it to me right away. I was told by the only helpful CS Rep that I will be contacted via email by their executives for a discount due to the situation that I've experienced. Too late. I lost my trust over NM and I don't know If I could trust them the next time I shop. Maybe for small things that I know that I will never have a doubt on receiving a returned/used item. PS I found posts and complaints that people have experienced the same experience that I had with them.

    I registered this website because I want to give NM a one star. Ordered a $400 hair dryer for my girl friend's birthday, and got two day delivery, which would be two days before the birthday. All things planned perfectly! Then after three days, it's still showing "In Process". I called customer service, the woman said there's nothing she could do about it, some other team is verifying fraud. Fraud? I'm using my own credit card and everything. Never got any problem with other online shopping.

    The most almost terrifying part was the tone and attitude that woman had, it was like she's forced into a small cell and had been doing this for 24 hours straight with little pay. So indifferent, hopeless, and not willing to help. Then I asked for supervisor, surprisingly she was glad to transfer immediately. Then, unsurprisingly, the supervisor was the same indifferent, hopeless, and not willing to help. Birthday gift on a birthday? Forget about it. Can't believe this is a high end department store. I'll try my best to avoid NM online, and in store, rest of my life.

    I ordered dresses online for myself and for a few of my family members and had to return some of the items because they didn't fit. After my returns Neiman Marcus cancelled my credit card. I called and spoke to the credit department and I tried to explain the reason for my returns. I also told them that it did keep some items from separate online orders. That didn't seem to matter to Neiman Marcus, all they care about is that the customers keep all of the items. I told them why do they offer online service if they don't want customers to return items. Their answer was it would be better if I went to the nearest store and try the items.     I ordered a dress on August 30, 2017 for my daughter's wedding. It was to be delivered on September 7. I went onto my account online to check the status of the order and it showed it was cancelled. I was stunned! I received a confirmation on the date of the purchased but never received a notice that it had been cancelled. Had I not checked the order, I would still be waiting for it. The dress was on sale for half price and I purchased the last one in stock in my size.     Sunday July 9th I along with my husband when to the mall looking for a men flip flop, he stopped a couple store didn't find what we were looking for, them decided to stop by Neiman Marcus; upon arriving in the men department we saw a variety of slipper so my hubby seems to like the Gucci which sells for $195, he then turns and asked the salesman to get the size 10 in it... the salesman looked at the slipper and said how we sold out... I asked do you have the 10 1/2 he replied swiftly oh no 1/2 size... know we like holy crap, before we could have decided what will be our next move, the salesman turned in a confident voice and said they run small so I believes the size 11 should fit; we both said lets try it.. My hubby tried the size 11 which swallowed his feet... but as convincing of a sales person telling him that they're not supposed to be too close. That same evening when my hubby put on the slipper we went in the car to go to this event we plan to go, and as soon as he parked and get out turned to walk and stumble a little not thinking it have anything to do with the slipper, a few minutes later he trip/stumble again, know I said what is going on; now we notice it was the slipper he tries his hardest to walk slower approaching a group of people that's when we had enough, he stumble forward in front of everyone...right then we decides he has to go home and changed. So yesterday I called the store and spoke to 2 person including someone from that department, explained everything above he told me just to return it ... conversation was recorded and played in to the store manager which still refused to refund or exchange item... the manager Diane is telling me to try and sell the slipper on some website name the real, Miss are you for real Ms Manager????? My question to them is what do I do with something that doesn't have any use to us???? ?

    PS: this is what Neiman Marcus send me after nearly 3 three...for $190 I should pay for something that does not fit? Where are their Compassion? It's all about money, not about the customer? your salesperson knew the policies as much as you and he advice me to return item... why didn't he told me from that first phone conversation?

    Opened a credit account with NM couple of day ago and purchased a designer bag for my daughter using the credit card. The order status has been in process for couple of days with no further updates. Finally decided to cancel the order earlier today since it's taking longer than expected for the bag to be shipped out. My wife received a phone call listed as "unknown number" not long after I canceled the order and was told to tell me that my NM credit account was closed today, and that the card can never be used again. The person on the phone had a horrible attitude and provided no explanation whatsoever, he made sound like everyone is so desperate to get an NM card, WTH?! Tried to contact customer service for an explanation but received no updates. I'm actually glad that I canceled the orders now that I've read so many bad reviews. Will never shop there again.

    The online customer service by Neiman Marcus is terrible. I've been trying to get a return authorization for two items for almost 2 months now. Even after assurances from a Customer Service rep this would occur, they send an incomplete authorization. I cannot seem to get anyone's attention here. And, no one at NM seems to care. DO NOT SHOP HERE.
