What is Appliances Connection?

Appliances Connection is an e-commerce company that works out of a 200,000-square-foot warehouse. The company stocks thousands of ready-to-ship household appliances and pieces of furniture, which lets customers get their purchases quickly. Appliances Connection serves retail customers, builders, architects, interior designers, restaurants, schools and other large corporations.

The company also has a large showroom in Brooklyn that features modern kitchen and bathroom displays.

Appliances Connection has a knowledgeable sales staff and offers a wide variety of name-brand appliances at discount prices. If you love to look into product descriptions and reviews before you buy, you'll appreciate Appliances Connection’s in-depth product research guides. These guides help you understand each appliance’s features and specifications.

Appliances Connection shipping and delivery

When you purchase a new appliance from Appliances Connection, you have three main shipping options:

  • Curbside: Also known as ground shipping, this is the most basic delivery service. With this option, the team brings your item to the curb outside your house. You’re responsible for bringing it into the house and installing it.
  • In-home: With this option, the company delivers your appliance inside the first entrance of your home or business. The team gets the appliance through the front door, but it’s your responsibility to get it to the final location and complete the installation.
  • White-glove delivery: This special delivery service is ideal for delivering large and overweight items. This option includes delivering the appliance into the room of your choice, unloading it, uncrating it, unpacking it and removing the packing materials. If the team has to take your appliance past the first floor, there is an additional $25 per floor charge.

Appliances Connection does not typically deliver on weekends, but weekend deliveries can be arranged for an additional fee. You can add expedited shipping to your order for $69.99. Appliances Connection delivers to all 50 states, but it does not ship to Canada at this time.

Appliances Connection installation services

Appliances Connection also offers installation and removal services. A full-service install involves hooking up the appliance, testing it and removing packing materials from your home. There is an extra fee for this service. The team removes your old appliance if it is smaller than the one you purchased, but this option may not be available in all areas.

Appliances Connection returns and cancellations

You can return any appliance for any reason within 30 days of the company shipping it. A product cannot be returned if:

  • It is a final sale or special order
  • If it has been used or installed

Appliances Connection cost

Appliances Connection offers free shipping within its delivery area for orders of more than $99. To see whether you’re located in the company’s delivery area, enter your ZIP code on its website.

Does Appliances Connection offer financing?

Appliances Connection offers multiple financing options to make it easy to afford your favorite name-brand appliances. Some financing options include:

  • No interest on orders of $499 or more if paid in full within 12 months
  • No interest on orders of $299 or more if paid in full within six months
  • An Appliances Connection line of credit

Appliances Connection coupons

You can save money on your Appliances Connection order by using the company's online coupon codes. These coupons are located on its website and can be added to your cart and automatically applied to your total.

Appliances Connection FAQ

What is Appliances Connection return policy?
You can return unopened and unused items within 30 days of their shipment date. Items must be in the same state you received them and in the original packaging. To receive a full refund, you must send back the blank warranty card and UPC and not claim any rebates. You’re responsible for shipping costs, and the return must be fully insured.
Is installation and removal of my old appliance included with delivery service?
No. These services cost extra and are not available in all areas.
Where does Appliances Connection ship?
Appliances Connection ships to all 50 states. The best way to determine if it delivers to your specific location is to enter your ZIP code during checkout. The total shipping cost is calculated at checkout.

Is Appliances Connection legit?

Appliances Connection stocks an extensive selection of basic and luxury-brand appliances and furniture to give you many different options in one place. While many homeowners, contractors and builders appreciate the wide selection of appliances, reviews are mixed when it comes to on-time deliveries and quality customer service.

Usually customer experiences don’t go so well. You know, you call and can’t understand the person on the other line that is on the other side of the globe, or they’re kind, but can’t help you resolve your problem. Or, they’re not kind at all or you’re on hold for hours while you get transferred from person to person, explaining your dilemma each time.

So, of course I was dreading calling Appliances Connection to resolve a FEDEX undelivered, perhaps damaged, drop-in range cooktop I had ordered. I called and decided to hold. Then they let me know I was 34th in the queue. Yikes, I called back and took the offer to get a call back. They must have a lot of customer service representatives, because they returned my call less than half an hour later. Martin ** was my customer service representative, and I have to say, it may have been the best customer service experience I’ve had.

First, he helped me resolve my range order in the way that best suited me and my somewhat undecided travel plans. Then, when I thanked him for his excellent service and complimented him on his very good English (I thought his accent was Caribbean, but he let me know came here from Liberia), he told me how much he appreciated someone being kind to him! These days, it seems like everyone is so unpleasant, I totally understood where he was coming from, especially when dealing with people who are calling with a problem.

That made me remember the terrible service I received from the shipping company they used to deliver my other appliances. Martin listened and laughed with me and told me he appreciated me letting him know, as the company isn’t aware their delivery contract companies are doing a poor job unless the customers let them know. He assured me he’d send my detailed experience up the chain AND offered me complimentary ten year warranties on the appliances for my inconvenience, which I totally hadn’t expected!

He also gave me his personal extension so I wouldn’t have to join the hold queue next time! I’m so glad he did and that I received him as my representative. I really liked the prices and selection at Appliances Connection, but was leery to order from them again on my next projects (rentals), due to the hassle with the delivery company. I will definitely shop with Appliances Connection again, as I now know that if I run into difficulties in the future I can count on Martin to take good care of me. And I’ll definitely let all the friends and family (they all asked who I purchased from, BTW, I did assure them it was the delivery company at fault) I told my ridiculous delivery stories (yes, there was more than one) to how Appliances Connection not only listened, but made it right, which is extremely refreshing nowadays. In fact, it’s only been a couple of hours and I’ve already told two people. Martin really made my day!

After surfing the web for hours I happened upon the site for AppliancesConnection because they had the lowest price on the refrigerator I was looking to buy. I was also looking for a washer/dryer combination with pedestals. They did have what I wanted but I had to piece them together. It was a little more work but doable, but other sites have the washer/drier/pedestal combinations all together and easier to shop. The important thing is that I found what I wanted, the prices were good, and I am happy that I shopped here.

I am really pleased with my shopping experience. I bought a gas stove with convection oven and believe that it saved me about $200 on the price compared with sales prices in my area; plus the sales tax and the shipping was free. The delivery service they use is very good, the appliance arrived with perfect packing, within the time frame they had arranged, and the drivers were polite. Overall a good experience.

A+ all around. Flawless from start to finish. We couldn't be happier with the wonderful dishwasher that we got from Appliances Connection. Shipping was quick. The dishwasher arrived in great shape and was installed the next day and it works well as expected. Thankfully we did not receive a damaged item and have to go through the experience that we read that others did. I recommend that you pay the extra money to have it installed for you, as I did it myself (new dishwasher installation) and it took much longer than I thought it would and it cost me more than I thought only because I bought the wrong hardware and couldn't return it after opening it. Thank you!

Called to inquire about an extended warranty that I purchased with a new refrigerator, as well as the purchase date of several appliances purchased just over three years ago. The customer service representative was very helpful and quickly found the information that was needed. My experiences with purchases and help received make it so unless it's an immediate need future purchases will be from Appliances Connection. I live in the Western States so shipping takes longer.

I purchased a stove hood, dumb me I didn't realize there are code heights. Result is I purchased a hood that is too tall for the space. I didn't realize I only had 30 days to exchange it. Well it took that to get an installer scheduled, when he arrived he told me it was too tall. I contacted them to exchange the hood for one that would work (it was more expensive than the one I purchased). They said NO. it's been 30 days. It was 4 days past their 30 day mark. I will never purchase from them again and will tell everyone how terrible they are!

The service and delivery was absolutely horrendous and we will never ever work with this company again. Clearly Appliances Connection and AM Delivery have NOT learned from any of the past reviews. There were 4 missed delivery attempts. The first was because the delivery driver didn't wait 5 minutes after calling for a call back. We called back no more than 5 minutes after we missed the call (because we both were in meetings) and the driver still left. The second time it took the driver 45 minutes to find the very clearly labeled service entrance. Not only was it well labeled, but security personally led the truck to the entrance and they still couldn't find it. The building blocked this after the 45 minute fiasco because the delivery company was clearly incompetent and wanted a COI for liability purposes.

The third time we were waiting on the COI (which took 3 weeks to get after being promised it would only take 24-48 hours and why in the world are you charging $125 for a COI. That is completely absurd and unheard of) and the delivery people still tried to deliver the fridge even though we did NOT confirm delivery. The fourth time it took over an hour for the delivery driver to find the service entrance, despite being sent pictures and being walked to the service entrance. THEN once we finally got off the forsaken truck one of the delivery guys continued to talk on the phone the whole time planning his weekend without helping the other guy. We had to unwrap the refrigerator ourselves because your guy was lazy and too busy not working and planning his weekend to do the "white glove service".

He also couldn't figure out how to plug in the refrigerator into an open receptacle and we had to do it for him. I mean come on!! It's plugging a plug into a wall. How hard can that be?? You have no business being a delivery company but especially not one that promotes a white glove delivery. This was absolutely the worst experience we have with any vendor.

On Sept 20th 2023 we ordered a Bosch 300 Series dishwasher from Appliances Connection. Their price was comparable to Home Depot and Lowe's (Lowes showed out of stock). The factors that swayed us towards this vendor were these: It showed as in stock, they said they could ship within 2 or 3 business days, and they were including free installation and free removal of the old dishwasher. Note: not until I was deep into trying to resolve our issue with them did they ever mention that you must purchase their dishwasher installation kit or they won’t do the installation.

I received an email the following day – Sept 21st – showing the order had been processed, and also got an email with the tracking number for the shipping company they use - which is called AM Home Delivery (a division of AM Trucking.) The tracking supplied by AM showed only that “Pickup Order Notification received.” ON the 25th I became puzzled that no further status was shown on the tracking.

I called Appliances Connection and the phone queue was long, so I chose the “Call me back:” option. They called and advised me that the item had already been shipped and that they would check with the shipper to see why the tracking was not updated. 36 hours later I had not received any updates, so I tried calling the shipper myself. They claimed that they had not received pickup authorization from the vendor, despite the fact that they made trips to that warehouse nearly every day for pickups. I called the vendor back and they initially insisted that it had shipped. Then… she started talking about how it was supposed to be delivered within 7 to 14 days of the purchase date and that it had actually not shipped yet. She also person said she was the manager of that department and there was no one above her that I could speak with.

I hung up, called their main number, and asked for the Sales department. The person I spoke to there referred me to an email she had copied me on, in which she attached photos of the dishwasher in the wrapped pallet and the AM Home Delivery stick on it with my name and address. The vendor then insisted that they HAD shipped it (the story kept changing) and the shipping company continued to claim that they still didn’t have authorization to pick up the item.

I finally gave up in disgust. The shipping company gets only 2 stars out of 5 on Trustpilot but I still don’t know who was lying to me – there’s no question that someone – either the shipper or the vendor -was not telling the truth. I requested a refund and they did issue one immediately. I ordered it from Home Depot, who will deliver it in 3 business days. No installation services are provided but dishwashers are easy to install. I also got a $100 discount for opening a Home Depot charge account. From now on I will stick to known entities like Best Buy, Lowes, Home Depot etc.

I just recently bought a Frigidaire refrigerator and dishwasher from Appliances Connection recently. The dishwasher had no damage and I paid for install. I have not been able to get the thing to work and am having a service technician come out and diagnose the issue. Hopefully this is covered under the Frigidaire warranty.

The refrigerator had a very noticeable dent in the side and upon assurance by the delivery guy it would not be seen behind a short wall to the left of the unit I let them bring it in. It was noticeable. I did not order a scratch and dent. I called and requested a return and an alternative. Following this the nightmare started. After approximately 60 emails later (no exaggeration) the damaged refrigerator was picked up and no problem with that in and out in 15 minutes. Appliances Connection then they said in the emails they would credit me for the damaged one and charge for the new one. I paid for the initial transaction with my debit card as I don't like to use credit cards.

Big mistake. They have now charged my account for the new unit $2,186.01 and then charged $2,850.70 for no reason I can figure and have yet to receive a reason for the additional charge or credit for the damaged return. At this point I am out $7,351.87 and my bank says since it was debit, I can't stop the pending transaction. This is fraud at its heart and I am a broke senior on social security. I can't speak with anyone, only emails which I have copies of all of the bickering back and forth. To top it off I have no refrigerator a dishwasher that doesn't work and little recourse of getting my money back as I can't afford an attorney. Stay away from this company and buy local!! This is a real bad situation and I hope this review saves someone from the same fate...
