Church & Dwight is recalling one lot of TheraBreath Strawberry Splash for Kids.

The product is contaminated with yeast (Candida Parapsilosis).

Use of the anti-cavity mouthwash for adults and children six years of age and older byimmune compromised individuals could result in severe or life-threatening adverse events such as fungemia or disseminated fungal infection.

Infections in non- immunocompromised individuals may be less severe and may be more readily responsive to treatment.

The recalled product, which comes in a 16-oz container with product number 20509730, lot PA3083011 and UPC 6 97029 70000 6, was sold exclusively on Amazon between May 31 and September 2, 2023.

What to do

Customers who purchased the recalled product should stop using it immediately and call the firm before disposing of the product, for a full refund.
