Great service, excellent ease of use, great customer service. We came to Nom Nom when our giant breed puppy was not eating as much as the vet recommended. She was very picky but took to Nom Nom right away. Added benefits were that her coat was shinier than ever which we attribute to the Nom Nom ingredients. We recently canceled our order only because she's been eating so much better recently and we're hoping to wean her off the the luxury food to a more affordable brand. However, we would not hesitate to recommend Nom Noms to any pet owner or to return to it if any of our pets need it.

The hound loves the food and is excited to eat every day. Food is high quality so I like that. I gave 4 stars because of quality control and packaging. Some packages, on occasion, look like they are not mixed well and end up getting mostly vegetables or mostly meat. I think that also might make the packages seem like different weights as it seems like there is less food in the bowl sometimes. All this may be because I feed twice a day instead of one.
The other thing I have problems with is the packaging. The tab where you open the package is in the corner but sometimes one side is still sealed and the other open making it difficult to pull the tab. Also, instead of the package opening smoothly, the seam sometimes catches making it difficult to open without getting your fingers in there. In the case of the chicken meal, it's very greasy, making it great for the dog's coat but making it slippery to fully open the package. Still with those things it's still a positive experience.

Online ordering is easy. Food selections are great. However, food quality seems to have changed slightly. Shipments are on time and if not, they are corrected quickly. The reminder and tracking emails are extremely helpful. Our dog loves the food!

The food is nothing looks like all of the pictures on Nom Nom's SNS and all of review that on Instagram. The first bag I opened was more rice than chicken, so I wrote comment on Nom Nom's Instagram, unfortunately instead answering my concern they just deleted my comment! Because of afraid other people see that I commented rice is more than protein. Very dishonest, I believe most their good reviews are fake.
Also after I emailed them about the action they did on their Instagram were very dishonest and question about the amount of protein, they wrote me back: [Starting out, our Turkey, Pork, and Beef recipes will include more ground meat than potatoes (by weight). Then after being gently cooked, the protein and the potatoes weigh nearly the same (the protein still weighs slightly more than the potatoes). As you'd expect, the potatoes will swell as they absorb the moisture from the surrounding fresh ingredients. The ground meat will cook down; so 25 grams of gently cooked beef looks to be much less than 25 grams of gently cooked potatoes. Each ingredient is prepared at the temperature required to ensure the nutrients are maintained.] Clearly that meant, Grain + Veggies are more than meat, If I want feed my dogs rice and veggies I would just feed them my human organic meal. Nom Nom should learn about dog food before they making it.

I ordered the two-week trial which arrived fine. My Yorkie would not eat it. I had to mix in her old food and she would move The Nom Nom to the side. It had too many potatoes and even mashing them up she would not eat them. So I canceled the service but I did receive the next shipment because I didn't cancel in time which was fine but it showed up with no dry ice in it completely thawed out. I reached out to customer service and left a message. I had to then call them again cuz they never returned my call and they told me it was fine. I could refreeze it. I don't know of any food that you can fall out after it's been frozen and then refreeze it and it would be safe. I'm not willing to risk that on my family member and of course they offered no credit etc just for that reason alone and the fact that I don't believe it's safe to eat I would not recommend them.

Not only does my picky Jack Russell love this food, but her weight has regulated, For such an active dog this has been great for her and us. Also the customer service team has been very helpful when we first started and had a myriad of questions. They’ll even send a nutritional letter to your bets as well (just saw this and do this too). I recommend NomNom highly for your pet's daily nutritional needs.

Food delivery. Sometimes it's a little more defrosted than I'd like and I feel that can sometimes that upsets my chihuahua's stomach. Then when I defrost it for his dinner it makes it very liquidy per se. He does enjoy Nom Nom though.

We have 5 dogs, been eating Nom Nom for past 2 years and loved it. A Month ago all 5 dogs stopped enjoying the food. We contacted Nom Nom and they claimed nothing changed. So we tried defrosting our back up food from December and all 5 dogs gobbled up food. Gave them new shipment of food and they turned away. This happened for 3 weeks and Nom Nom customer service continues to claim no changes, but our dogs know better. Funny, I know some in CA whose dog is doing the exact same thing. Now 6 dogs, 2 states - what’s going on at Nom Nom and why won’t they fix it?

Week by week the amount of meat is less and less and the sweet potato in the chicken and the rice in the Turkey is more. My dog is noticing and not wanting it anymore. The delivery is always a day later than promised, as well. Please don’t jip my dog of her meat. Thanks. Looking for other brands.

I stressed over my GSD, Remi, eating for the first 3 years we had her. She would go 2 days without eating sometimes!! Switched kibble, added wet food, tried toppers and even made homemade food to mix in her kibble in order to get her to eat. She was sooo picky! Then I found Nom Nom and tried the sample packs. She LOVED the Chicken Chow and Beef Mash! She has been eating 2 full meals a day now and has put on an appropriate amount of weight to where she doesn't look too skinny. She licks her bowl clean! Her coat is shiny and has lots of energy. Her poos are so much smaller now. So glad I found a high quality food that gets delivered to our home each month!

I have had no problems with the food I receive except that the turkey has very little turkey in it, but my dogs like it and do eat it. I wish there were more than 4 choices, as my dogs have eaten so much of the chicken and turkey, that are really tired of it. They are loving the beef; haven't tried the pork.

We've used another food delivery service in the past, but unfortunately it didn't work out due to my dog getting some digestive issues with it; however, since switching to Nom Nom she has had no problems and she loves her food so much. Would recommend to anyone looking for good, healthy food for their dog.

Every 4 weeks, right on time, the cold/frozen food packs arrive. Ginger gets her chicken chow for breakfast and beef mash for supper. She is soon excited! Cleans her bowl and licks it again to make sure she has it all. I can choose to tear the pack from a corner and recycle. What could be better? Although NomNom seems pricey, it's quality!

We have two senior dogs, one a picky eater and one with healthy issues. After researching the benefits of fresh food over canned or dry, we tried another home-delivery service for pets but found it lacking in packaging, instructions and general appeal. We took advantage of the Nom Nom trial and it has been truly transformational for our dogs. The picky eater LOVES his food, and our senior with health issues has seen a noticeable improvement in coat luster, reduced itching and improved dental hygiene (dog breath will always be a little stinky, but now it doesn't plow me down!).
Nom Nom has been incredibly communicative on where we are in the delivery process and it is easy to change your order for either pet. They also provide a plethora of resources on a variety of dog topics. I also feel good knowing they have staff veterinarians working on formulations and improvements. I have only had the need to reach out to customer service once and they replied promptly and were so helpful! If you are thinking of fresh food for your pet, I highly recommend NomNom.

Our dog Bill used to just let the cat push him aside at meal times so she could steal his food. After we started Nom Nom, the poor cat had a shock when Bill snapped at her to protect his food. Tells me this stuff is MUCH more valuable to him than the crappy canned stuff or dried kibble ever was. I have NEVER seen him so excited for meal times! Additionally, his breath smells better, his bowel movements decreased in size (and smell!!) by ~50%, and his coat is softer and silkier than it has ever been. We had such a great experience with the dog food, we started ordering for our cats as well. Customer service handles feedback/concerns really well and is always courteous, friendly, and prompt to respond. Would definitely recommend!

My dog loves NOM NOM dog food. She is so excited when it is time to eat. She will sit patiently until I crack open the bag then it is whine time. She can't wait to eat. She is healthy and also looks more svelte since she is on this dog food. I had one problem with a late delivery during a very hot week during COVID. I called and told you that the food was off and you immediately sent me a new batch. I am very happy with this company.

I just canceled our subscription and it's a shame. Our dog really liked the food. We canceled because of inconsistencies with the weight of several food packs; basically not getting the amount of food we pay for. Each food pack is supposed to be 200 grams. We have to split the pack in half for each meal. I noticed that several food packs weighed less than 200 grams, some as low as 130 grams. I did outreach customer service several times, they were hard to get on the phone. I text twice and finally received a call back. The customer service rep apologized and explained they did have machines calibrated recently. I explained the issue and the customer service rep made up for it by giving us an extra week's worth of food as well as an approximately $20 credit.
After that call, we received two more monthly shipments that still had several food packs weighing less than 200 grams. I really wanted Nom Nom to work out since the food seemed to be more appealing than other fresh food brands out there, but we can't justify paying for this product when they cannot provide us the correct amount of food.

We started ordering from Nom Nom when our dog Jack started having digestive issues. He would vomit, have runny stools etc. I figured it had to be because of the food he was eating because the vet could not find anything wrong. His stomach just could not handle it anymore. I did some research and found Nom Nom offered more of what I wanted and was more reasonably priced. Jack also needed to lose a few pounds and the prepackaged portion sizes helped. I like that you can pick different recipes and can change at any time. Deliveries are on time and I love that the packaging is recyclable. Jack has lost the weight that he needs and has maintained. We will see how he does on his next vet visit.

I have not been able to reach Nom Nom by telephone for specific questions. Also, there is no way on the website to delay an order--only a way to skip one. That does not work well for us. We do love the food.

I ordered a trial pack of four meals at a cost of $25. The pack was to arrive on Friday 10/16, but then came a message that it was delayed and would not be here until Saturday 10/17. The items arrived about 10 am with no ice whatsoever and the food was warm. We threw it out fearing that it may be spoiled. I emailed the company and the rep said "we have no control over deliveries and it is normal for packages to come without ice". They did promise to resend the food or give a refund. We chose the refund. I would not want to go through the same delivery problem each time I order pet food and at the cost this is not acceptable. I now have switched to a local Southern California company that delivers for free or you pay pick up at one of their locations. Much smarter.

I switched my cat's food to Nom Nom with the intentions of bettering her health and improving her life/longevity (with the thought that Nom Nom was high quality and clean ingredients.) Well, my experience was the exact opposite... After my cat ate Nom Nom for approximately 2 weeks she ended up hospitalized and rushed to the vet, after she began refusing to eat or drink water for 4 days straight. My cat got sick from a food-borne illness/bacteria, which caused her to develop Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), caused from her ingesting/consuming Nom Nom food. The food was spoiled and contaminated. Within the first few days of feeding her Nom Nom, my cat began throwing up her food after every meal (which was very unusual and was not happening with her previous food). She was also throwing up whole chunks of carrots and cantaloupe that are ingredients in the recipes.
The chronic throwing up turned into her stools turning yellow and then refusing to eat/drink, to becoming hospitalized. The second box of Nom Nom that was delivered to me was room temperature/not cold, which were also spoiled and harbored bacteria that made her sick... I explained all this to Nom Nom's not so helpful customer service team who refused to take any responsibility or reimbursement for my vet bill; which is crazy considering this whole situation is completely their fault and their food is the culprit. Nothing else changed in her life and the food was clearly what made her sick (hence the fact that she has gut inflammation and bacterial infection) which was treated with a course of antibiotics, medications and steroids.
I wish I would have done my homework and looked into Nom Nom more before subscribing and feeding this to my cat. Please read all of the other 1 star reviews on Trustpilot (sharing so many similar experiences). Please stay away from this horrible company! Tons of other reviews reporting that their pets ended up in the vet, sick or worse from eating this food, on top of receiving thawed and not cold packaged upon delivery. TONS of other horrible issues on top of shady business practices. If you love your pet STAY AWAY FROM NOM NOM!!!

The initial shipment came with two flavors - chicken & beef. My dog did not like the beef, but ate the chicken meals. I changed my order to turkey & chicken days before the next shipment was scheduled, but then was notified the old beef & chicken shipped anyway - a $200 order. Called customer service, and they said, “sorry, our system locks in the order 3 days before shipment.” Seems like for this much money they would want to get it right. Now I have (another) half a shipment go beef meals my dog won’t eat. Too pricey to deal with this kind of service.

My first delivery arrived late and the ice was melted and several of the packages had to be thrown out. I had a few months of ok deliveries then I ordered 'Add Ons' for an additional $40. When the order arrived, no add ons. I called and they give you the runaround but never actually make anything right. They said the missing stuff would arrive on Friday but that was a lie and it wasn't coming until the next scheduled delivery was coming!! There was a 2-week gap yet they had their money! When I called to find out what was going on they said they would give a discount but I am done with them and their crappy service. Too bad, my dog liked the food but for $400 a month, I expect top-notch service and this company has no clue how to make things right. I'm done for good!

We have been feeding our elderly Jack Russell terrier on NNN for at least 2 years. He loves it and has done very well on it, gobbles it down. I feel better knowing that the ingredients are fresh, human grade. The customer service is stellar.

My 4 dogs have used NomNom for a few years. For most of the time, I was satisfied. Pre-portioned pouches are great. Recently, (after spending over $1,000) at the emergency vet) I became aware that the dogs are not digesting the food well (veggies are undercooked). They feel like rubber when you touch them, so I can't imagine what it must be doing to their intestines. I know other people that have stopped NomNomNow for the same reason. I tried many things when it became clear that one of them had Leaky Gut (or so we suspected). I thought it may have been a variety of things causing the issue, but in retrospect, I believe it was the digestibility of their food. Our last delivery was two weeks ago and I canceled my subscription and have moved on to another company.

Almost immediately after they raised their prices the quality went downhill. I received 3 deliveries of partially warm boxes & packages that were only filled half way. (Not just 1 or 2 packages, over half the boxes.) I was willing to pay more because I was happy with the food & I understand the rise in overhead cost but I am not willing to pay more & receive not just less but a company that isn’t willing to acknowledge & correct their mistakes/issues. I reached out via email and spoke to 3 different people, none of which offered a solution.

My dog loves this food. We tried Farmer's Dog first and he didn't like it. This looks and smells like human grade food. They also will ship it to you in smaller portions if you prefer to mix with kibble like I do. I highly recommend!

The weight of each meal is supposedly determined by dog specific criteria, age, activity levels, other health issue. Up to 5 grams either way. Might be understandable on occasion but 10-15gr below or up to 100gr over isn’t ok. My dog has very small bones and keeping her weight consistent is very important. I need to be able to trust what’s in each pouch and not need to weigh each one. Part of the selling point of Nom Nom is the ease of feeding. Whose is verifying weights? Who’s checking box count? In our house we have my one dog and my housemates 3 dogs, all eating Nom Nom.

My cats LOVE NomNomNow. I feed them several different wet foods but this is their favorite. The food is very fresh and moist, and has low carbohydrates, which is important for my senior cat who is in remission from diabetes. As for me, I have had nothing but great experiences with the nomnomnow customer service. I highly recommend this company!

My dog has been eating Nom Nom for about 9 mo and is doing very well on it. She is healthy and happy and likes the food. We had an issue with the Chicken meals that didn't agree with her and they immediately substituted another formula at no extra charge. They are very responsive when contacting them for any reason.

We feed our dog the NomNom beef formula. Before I started him on this, he was a very picky eater. Within a year, I had tried at least 3 different high quality foods. On NomNom, he loves his food. He has a great coat and healthy weight. Well worth the price.

The last 3 out 5 orders have been incomplete. In addition, my latest order is delayed and still hasnt arrived. This is FRESH FOOD and is supposed to be delivered on time at the risk of spoiling. Customer service said there is nothing they can do and wont be able to ship another order out until the following week. Really?? What are my dogs supposed to eat? Their suggestion was to cook the food myself. If something defines POOR customer service this is it. I highly discourage anyone from ordering from NomNomNow because they have ZERO customer service. There are other fresh food pet delivery options and I suggest going with them instead.

Overall the experience has been exceptional. We have a very picky German shepherd and were so concerned when she just refused to eat, especially as a growing puppy. We tried everything, but she wouldn’t eat any of it, until we found NomNom. Both she and her brother love it, and gobble it up every day. Customer service has always been exceptional, one time we got our order torn open, half missing, and hot—spoke with customer service and they shipped out a new box ASAP and we were never without food. Food is high quality and both my dogs are happy and healthy! Highly recommend!

I started using NomNom nearly a year ago and it's improved our dog's quality of life. We have one picky eating, thin Goldendoodle and an older lab mix who needed to lose a little weight. Both are eating and loving their food now, and are in their best health ever! Great customer service and will continue to be a customer.

NomNom is one of the best products out there for healthy food for dogs. Since using this food, my dogs have lost excess weight. During their recent check-up, the vet noticed how different my dogs looked (coats were shiny and healthy) and they seemed happy and active (they are 9 and 10 year old dogs). I have one issue with the administrative process. I would like the option to move between scheduling once a month or every two weeks because of travel. Although they will ship to an alternate location, I do not want a whole month of food shipped to a location I am only going to be at for 10 days. Then I have to carry extra coolers with ice to prevent the remaining product from thawing out. Also I noticed lately some packs are not of equal portion size (overfilled or underfilled).
Finally, I've never found a food for my one picky eater until NomNom. She sits and waits by her bowl when I am preparing the food. In the past, I would have to coax her to the food bowl with bacon grease, peanut butter, etc.. I would love to see the addition of a fish product for dogs. My dogs love Salmon. Keep up the good work.

Nom Nom now was fine, my dogs like it, etc etc... until I started noticing that some of the bags contained 1/4 of the food of other bags. I had to supplement the food with something in my fridge. So, I started to weigh the bags. There were so few bags that actually had the grams that they were supposed to... One bag that was supposed to have 175g only had 160g, and multiple bags in the box were 5-15 grams under the listed weight. My dogs clearly are not getting the amount of food they need, which is why I’ve seen an increase in begging. This is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Nom Nom now needs to reply to my email ASAP and give me my money back. They clearly know about the problem - there are multiple reviews here that call it out.

In this past order the pouches are all underweight. Aries and Pierre are both supposed to receive 110g of food per meal time. The weights of these pouches range from 50g to 70g. This results in having to supplement with can or use extra pouches per meal. When they have to switch to eating other food they incur bowel issues! I reached out by phone and email and no one returned my call just an automated email to make changes on the account page. So now we are running short of food and will not make it to next scheduled delivery. This is very disappointing and not the personalized, professional service we expect.

The food is divided into 2 servings per day. The food looks and smells like human food. I really like having meals measured out so I don't over feed. The food comes in an insulated box on The 3rd Thursday of each month. Even in our hot summer, the food arrives frozen. The amount of food for each meal is chosen based on a survey of my dog's ideal weight and activity level. Our dog gobbles each meal now. No more finicky eater!.

My 2 cats have never been healthier since I switched their food to Nom Nom. One of the cats suffered from alopecia that my holistic veterinarian suspected was due to food allergy. Vet suggested Nom Nom and, after a few weeks, cat hair began to grow back. Also, Nom Nom has friendly, helpful and supportive customer service.

Experience so far has been great. The individual packets are super convenient - although I have had some packs that were not cut properly so it was impossible to peel open, but nothing some scissors can't solve - however I do wish they were in a different type of container, perhaps one that can be stacked. Right now the packs sit precariously in my stuffed freezer and sometimes come sliding out when I open the fridge. Doggo loves the food though, he is ALWAYS tremendously excited for dinner time.

Sometimes difficult to open bags. Chicken has large pieces sometimes. Sometimes my dog doesn’t like the food but finishes by it by the nighttime. Like the size and I know exactly how much to feed her. That’s helpful.

It’s been a pretty great experience, customer service has been excellent. My dog loved the products (minus chicken). And the recyclable packaging they added is awesome. Please keep that! My only criticism is the inconsistent sizes of packets. Love that they usually give a little extra but sometimes the packs that fall 10g short do disappoint.

Okay so the last two shipments we have received improved on packaging. Either the plastic wraps are looser to cut, easier or they came with rubber bands which we prefer since it’s easier to take off. In addition the beef opener to the food is always so difficult to open but love your products. Excited to see some changes down the road.

I feel great about feeding Nom Nom, but the packaging is hard to open. I often tear the triangle off without the whole piece opening. I end up having to cut the bag open with scissors. I also love having the product delivered frozen!

I love Nom Nom in every single way. The only thing I have noticed is, the amount of food in some of the pouches seems less than in other pouches. This was not the case when I first began ordering. My pup loves the food and is doing amazing on it. She has a shiny coat, clear eyes and wonderful stools. (If that is possible, HA.) The only thing I would change is the consistent amount of food in each pouch.

According to Nom Nom, my order was shipped out on May 28th. I did not receive it until June 5th. First of all, when the courier handed me the box I immediately knew something was not right. It was not cold, not even cool to the touch. I opened the box and all the dry ice was gone and the food, that was supposed to be frozen was soft and warm. There was no way I was going to feed this to my dogs. I sent several emails to this company before I even got a response. When they did reply, it was more a letter on how dry ice works, and that there was nothing wrong with the food. I told them I wanted a refund, and asked what to do with the food. Still waiting to hear back about this. In the meantime, I have to throw this food away. Will never order from Nom Nom again.

I got this for my 9 year old Maltese. After a month her stools were still not firm and quite loose and she was licking her feet like crazy. However the main issue I had was that there are more potatoes and carrots in the products than meat. Hardly any meat. Portions in each package are very small too. I have tried Farmers dog and Ollie and so far Farmers dog was the best. Waiting for my pet plate to come in also but will not be using Nom Nom Now again.

I have been subscribing to NomNomNow’s dog food delivery service since 2017, and I’ve seen the quality of their dog food decline drastically. Not only did they have recurring packaging mishaps over the years, the freshness of their food is also questionable. They sent me soured food so many times that my dog is now traumatized and skeptical of the food in her bowl. After trying to work closely with their customer service team to resolve the freshness issue, they simply tell me that the soured smell is due to the vinegar that they add into the dog food. I don’t remember vinegar being a part of their ingredient list, nor did I notice any sour smell in the food in the earlier years of my subscription. Either way, my dog won’t eat her food from NomNomNow anymore.

I have been feeding Nom Nom's Fish Feast and Chicken Cuisine since December 2019, and in my most recent order, my cat threw up the fish meal I gave her shortly after she ate it. Out of distrust for the food in the order sent to me, I threw away the rest of the food and went back to feeding my cat what I gave her before starting my Nom Nom subscription and she hasn't thrown up since. When I spoke with the representative on the phone about it to ask for a refund on my on my order, she only offered a partial refund (for the fish meals). I asked why and she went on to talk about how it may not have actually been the Nom Nom food that caused her throw up in the first place, and that it could have been environmental changes, which were ridiculous excuses because nothing has changed for my cat but her food. Very disappointed with how the issue was dealt with, and have canceled my subscription since.

These packages are individually packaged and I really like Nom Nom. I tried several raw food companies simultaneously and nom nom was the best!! The meals are individually packaged and a great option for feeding my dogs. Some of the other products I tried were in huge packages and it's difficult to keep everything in the fridge for a few days while I feed it to my dogs. With nom nom, I serve one pack for each meal. It's great!

We decided to try NomNomNow after researching the leading fresh dog food companies. First we tried the variety pack. Our dog preferred the turkey, so that's what we settled on for our on-going orders. Our dog is 9 years old, has always been fed kibble and was never excited about eating. That has all changed with NomNomNow. Now she's excited at meal time, reminds us if we're late feeding her, and literally gobbles her food and licks the bowl. Everything that was suggested as a positive result of their fresh food has proven to be true. In addition, the communications with the staff are useful and just the right amount (not intrusive or excessive).

I have been feeding my boys homemade food for quite a while now. I was making it myself. However now with Nom Nom I don't have to go thru all that anymore. My two boys love the food and look forward to meal time. The food looks and smells great! It's loaded with meat and veggies that you can clearly see and make out what they are! I have been feeding Nom Nom to my mini schnauzer for about 6 months. He really likes the food, he like texture in his food, not loaf or pate style food. The order process is easy to do & the food arrives quickly, already frozen, so I simply put into my freezer and take food out as needed. This is my second order of Nom Nom dog food and the good news Is that Chocolate adores it. She wolfs it down in record time (I mix a cup of her dry dog food with it). She has put on a little weight since we moved to Nom Nom, which was one of my goals. The only small issue I have is that I’m on a fixed income; it’s convenient but pricey.

What their promo pics show and what you get are 2 different things. I ordered the Pork Potluck. It should be called potato pot luck! 95% of the meal is potatoes. I have 2 dogs and both packets were the same. So it wasn't that I had 1 bad one. Won't be ordering this again.

I have been getting Nomnomnow for about 6 months. I spoke to someone at Nomnomnow months ago expressing my concern about the amount of potatoes in the chicken, pork and beef recipes. I was told that potatoes expand, but they really don't expand that much and I've opened packages of my dog's meals that contain at least half potatoes in the recipe. I feel that is too much and am looking into other dog food options or making my own homemade dog food.
Another concern is the size of pieces of chicken in my order. I have a dog with swallowing problems (which I believe I have documented with Nomnomnow) and have to break up or cut up the large pieces of chicken in the packages of chicken meals you send. As a result of these problems, I have been removing potato and adding more meat in smaller sizes to the meals. I also add more green vegetables. This make me feel that I can do a better job with help from online recipes. Thank you for listening. Susan

I called in because I needed to cancel due to financial means. I’m still paying my first dog’s health care after he passed. My current dogs love the food. The representative was helpful and addressed the concern in a timely manner. I do wish more of a regular discount was offered since it seems after the 3 times at 30%, I will still have to cancel since they are asking for higher payments to pay down what I owe. If anyone has ever paid for healthcare out of pocket, you know what I am going through. This is 4 years worth.

Inconsistent portion size and vinegary odor. My Dog loves his Nom Nom! My suggestion for improvement is that the portion sizes should be more consistent from bag to bag. Some of the servings are twice the size of others and a few servings seem underweight.

My dog absolutely loves the food. My only concern is that in these last 2 shipments, there are some meals that appear to be about 1/2 the quantity of the majority. They are noticeably smaller, and probably occur in about 1 or 2 of every 14 that I defrost for the week. The weight of the packages is also completely different since I first thought that it might be just how the food was packaged. I'm attaching some pics so you can see what I am talking about. I had had to throw out some of Ginger's food when delivered at time due to it not being cold, and the color of food was dramatically different than what it usually is, and the packets were not airtight, Ginger would not eat it... When I began buying NomNomNow for my dog, customer service was personal and accommodating. The food arrived with frozen packages of equivalent size. They were tightly banded together with plastic bands by category of food. I've just received my third order. It was sloppily packaged with the felt interior cooler scrunched down with food on top. The packages were not frozen and barely cool to the touch. The bands had slid off the package groupings and were in among the mess. I was able to salvage about half of the order - the rest will be waste because my dog won't be able to eat it all before it spoils.
With the second order, I noticed that there was a significant variation in the weight of the packages. Some were much smaller than others. I knew that they were inconsistent. With this third order, I contacted customer service. Twice. Both times I was told (cheerfully) not to worry. Their food is not frozen and is meant to arrive cool to the touch. No explanation as to why I received such a mess. No offer to replace the food which I will not be able to use. Pleasantly reminded me if I had more "questions" I could feel free to contact them. I felt I was receiving a canned response.
Just not I wrote to them a third time, requesting the founder's contact information. Alex Jarrell. From all that I have read, this company was started with a lot of hard work and wonderful customer service. I feel that she and her partners will want to know what I'm dealing with. I think you can expect your first order to be perfect, arrive cold, banded, and with consistent sizes. After that, don't expect future orders to be of the same quality packaging. Also, expect that you will not receive the full amount of food since weight of packages vary. I suspect you will get nowhere with customer service. Should they actually make this right, I'll post an update. That's only fair.

Our Boston Terrier, Muggs, began loving NomNomNow from the first bite. He has been eating NNN for just over a month. (He's only 5 months old so that's 1/5 of his life!) My french bulldog could eat anything and was perfectly healthy until he got pancreatitis at 10 years old. Then he couldn't eat anything without the runs. After thousands in vet bills and 10 different foods and antibiotics we found he could only eat homemade food by me. I cooked for him for 4 months: organic sweet potatoes, steamed broccoli and ground turkey. All was well but I leave for 2 months every Winter and knew I would not be able to freeze 2 months of food for my sister and ship her a freezer to store it in.
I started researching all the fresh mail-order dog foods and NNN had a recipe similar to what I was making him with their Chicken Chow Wow. Well, after a 2 week transition, the clouds parted and life is back to normal. He loves his NNN and stalks me in the AM and PM for his food, licks the bowl and the floor around it multiple times. He's acting like an 11 year old puppy. Customer service has been spot on. I'm so grateful for NNN and the price was less than I was spending making his food. Win win!

Cat food is good but quality control & customer service lacking. I had high hopes that NomNomNow would provide good, natural, fresh food for my two kitties. The first delivery was a day late and was not entirely cold, it had sat in the sun by my front door; I contacted customer service when I opened a package and thought it had a funny smell, I was told it was the cantaloupe that smelled strange. OK, cats seemed to do fine with the food. I spent a month transitioning them to the new food. The next delivery, I started noticing that some of the packages seemed smaller than others, so I started weighing them. I was supposed to be getting 70 gm net, but out of two dozen packets only 3 actually had 70 gm or more of food, some of the others had as little as 52 gms. I contacted customer service and began a back-and-forth email chain, asking for a description of their quality control program for ensuring that the weight on the package is actually what is being sent.
I continued to weigh the packets, and they consistently were underweight. Customer service sent lots of email hugs to my cats but refused to tell me about their quality control process, would not confirm if the packages were filled by hand or machine or if there were any packages that were weighed to ensure they were being filled correctly. I was told it was proprietary information. A few more emails and I gave up. I continue to weigh the packages, and today I opened one that was more than 20 gm underweight for what I am supposed to be getting. It irks me that I am not getting what I am paying for, and the company does not seem concerned. I think the food is good, and the packaging is easy to store and open, and my cats seem healthy and energetic. I am continuing to subscribe while I search for another option; there are more options for dogs than for cats. I may end up making my own food for them.
Also, they package in insulated cardboard boxes with inadequate supply of dry ice and use FedEx which is very inconsistent with its deliveries to me (FedEx is their delivery partner so there is no option to use another service or so I am told, and I don't know what to say about the dry ice that never seems to last until my box is delivered). So, I took off 3 stars for silly customer service responses to my requests, apparent lack of quality control for ensuring correct weights in the packets, and inadequate delivery process. I think the quality of the food is good and the packets are easy and convenient, but I recommend that if you go with Nomnomnow that you weigh the contents to make sure you are getting what you pay for.

I have a sick pup - atypical Cushings, a benign tumor in his eustachian tube, complete undercoat hair loss, incontinence, etc. We were recommended to NomNom by a friend. We have chicken wow-wow and tasty turkey fare for the last 3+ weeks. Dog loves it! He is much better energy wise and incontinence is much less. He stopped losing weight as well. EXCEPT this week he also stopped eating the chicken wow-wow. No matter what I put in it to enhance it. He loves the turkey but I have thrown away and starved him 3 nights with the chicken dish. Help!

My mixed breed rescue LIVES for meal times now. He liked his kibble before. But sometimes he’d turn his nose up at it. And he definitely had more stomach issues with kibble. We have none of those issues now! His excitement for meals is unreal, his stool is much smaller and softer which makes me confident that his body is absorbing the nutrients from his food. It’s a little pricey to feed a large dog fresh food but he’s worth every penny.

The beef mash for dogs is mostly potatoes. You can count the peas and carrots on one hand mixed in with what looks like maybe two tablespoons of beef. The turkey fair is mostly brown rice. The same deal with the side ingredients. This is overpriced garbage! Ollie or Spot & Tango are MUCH better for the money and the ingredients, overall quality.

I cannot say enough about this company. I have a picky eater that over time has become pickier. She is going to be 10. But for the past 3 months she had gobbled up her Nom Nom dinners so quick. Her coat is healthier and her energy level is back. The Customer Service dept is fabulous, I needed half meals because the full meals were just too large for my little girl. The rep assisted greatly, didn't try to "sell" me on any thing my pup and I didn't need. Truly a great company. I would recommend this company to any of my friends and family. Any further pups I may get will definitely be started on Nom Nom a lot sooner. Wish they were around when I first brought Rhea home. But she will know great dinners for the remainder of her days. In the age of Amazon and Chewy, it's rare to find a place that provides horrible customer service. I ordered food, followed the instructions, and my cat wouldn't eat it. They said to "make him" -- literally, so against my better judgement I continued to give my cat this food until he finally ate some on day 2. He then vomited everywhere. I went back and forth with them, but they actually went out of their way to not replace it, return it, or refund it. I even sent an unused test kit back and they wouldn't refund that either. They need to get shut down!

I subscribed about a month ago, my babies liked the food for the first 3 weeks then stopped wanting to eat it. I followed the care instructions exactly. I tried to cancel the next order which was a week before the next delivery date and they declined. The second order in the subscription (the order which they declined to cancel) arrived 24 hours later, the whole entire box was completely thawed and the food on the bottom was warm to the touch. The food was unsalvageable. I contacted their customer service via email-they responded with explaining to me that the packages will end up arriving thawed most of the time and their was no mention of a refund nor a partial refund in which I requested.
Now mind you, my package came 24 hours late, I am asking myself, where do they store perishable packages when they know it can't be delivered on the exact date? I spent $132.00 and ended up with food that could not be consumed by my fur babies. I can't give them any stars, and am beyond furious. I couldn't submit this review unless I gave them a star, boo, boo. MG.

It's pretty important that we provide our pets with fresh ingredients, so I researched the best freshest food for them. I have two cats on NomNomNow, both domestic shorthair, where one's a male and one's a three-year-old female. I've been feeding them NomNomNow for around five months and they like it. They eat it all up and it's a good sign. Initially, their coat looked a little bit softer, too. There were only two choices, though, Chicken Chow and Fish Feast, and my cats didn't like the Fish Feast. It looked very dry. So, I just went back to the chicken, which could improve a little bit too. There were times where my cats have thrown up the carrot pieces, like whole. It's kinda hard and they don't really digest those. And every single time, I cut up the chicken a little bit more because the chunks are too big for them to chew up and swallow.

I had to cancel my subscription for my pup due to allergies from the food (as per my dog's vet). You would think they would understand as they call themselves pet lovers. They never picked up the phone when I called, and finally responded to my email saying I can cancel but I have to pay for a month's worth of food, even though it wasn't delivered when I cancelled. Told them to stop the payment as the food will go to waste, but they did not seem to care, and still won't pick up the phone or call me back. With the numerous meal delivery services I would TAKE MY BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE! So disappointing!!!!

My dogs love this food. It’s healthy for them and I want them around for as long as possible! If you love your dogs as much as they love you, then feed them accordingly. I have left over food, because my dog was slow to transition and I want to feed her the oldest first. Because, there is no date code I am having to keep the leftover from the previous shipment separate in my freezer, which is inconvenient. My chocolate lab absolutely LOVES your food! She’s finally eating! After trying kibble, freeze dried raw and wet foods, all she would ever get excited about was the food on my plate. Her bowl of dog food went many times untouched. I tried making her meals but realized that there are things a dog needs in their diet that I probably wasn’t providing. That’s why NomNomNow is so perfect for her! She is eating her entire bowl now, it smells like a home cooked meal when I warm it up and she thinks I’m sharing my food with her! She literally licks her empty bowl for every last morsel.
Her hot spots have disappeared, which I’ve read could be a sign of a better diet. Her coat is now silky smooth and the beautiful rich chocolate shade she had as a puppy. In just 3 months, NomNomNow meals have made an incredible difference! I went with NomNomNow after reading reviews. I liked the idea of the fresh food, too. I have two German Shepherds and they are about two and a half years old. Since using it, we've noticed that in one of them the hair has gotten softer. There is also a little bit of weight on her where she was having trouble with, and her energy levels went through the roof. I feed them three formulations: beef, pork and chicken. NomNomNow is everything everybody says on the reviews. It works great, and we have been recommending it.

My dog Brownie was getting really picky about her food but now she loves it when it's breakfast and dinner time. Her least favorite is the turkey dinner so I put a little bit the powder you sent for picky dogs and it works. Thanks.

When I contacted NomNomNow to request a refund because the second batch of food I got gave my dog horrible diarrhea, the representative kept insisting that her food wasn’t bad, it was just her stomach not used to the food. I would have believed that if this were her first month of food, but it was halfway through her second batch when I decided to contact you. So I emailed her back and said I think that I’m going to switch my dog back to kibble and not feed her the rest of the box I was sent, and I haven’t heard anything back. So I emailed again asking if I can get a refund, and I STILL haven’t heard anything. I’m $75 out from bad food.

My Yorkie is a very picky eater and although I prefer natural ingredients, at the same time, it’s whatever he’s wanting to eat. He won’t eat anything though. You're cooking baked chicken and he won’t eat it because he’s sick of it. But I have been purchasing NomNomNow for 2 months now and it’s what my dog seemed to like the most. I’m still getting delivery and everything is all good.

We had a bad experience with NomNomNow. On the first package, it was good. On the second package, it was bad but we kept it. I would leave it out, try to wait it out to see if my dog would eat but he had diarrhea and blood coming out of his stool so I had to take him to the vet. I don't know if it was just my dog or if it was a bad batch of food. Since then, I just kinda decided to keep going with what was working. Natural ingredients are good for pets but I think it's just like anything else where we got to mention the food's state. I'm not saying that the food was bad but I know that there were issues. The dog is not gonna deny the food unless something is wrong with the food.

My cat had a lot of digestive issues on store-bought canned food. Then I chose to buy NomNomNow for him because it's human grade and I liked the profile of the main guy who does the recipes. It's like he's been doing for a long time. I also liked that they have their own little nutrient mix that's limited. So, if there were fewer ingredients, then my cat wouldn't have as many food sensitivities. So far, I've been buying NomNomNow for approximately six to eight months now and his stomach issues have completely went away. One of his major issues was chronic diarrhea and he has not gotten it since we switched. It's crazy, so that's an improvement. And because of the changes that I've seen in him, feeding him food with natural ingredients is very valuable

One of my dogs had a little bit of a weight problem and I saw NomNomNow’s ads. It looked healthy and it could be sort of a great alternative to dry food. I used it for about a month and a half but I stopped using them. I took it into my vet and she said that it was still high-calorie and way more than my Norwich Terrier should be having. I thought I calibrated that with NomNomNow before they sent it. When I got the meals, it was 90% cut up potatoes. I emailed them back and told them that. It was starch and it couldn’t be good for my dog. I couldn’t feed it to him. They told me to try the others with the sweet potatoes. Even still, it seemed like anywhere from 70% to 80% of starch, and then 20% to 30% meat.
I had really high hopes for NomNomNow. What I would do was open up three packs and I would put all the meat in one side and all the potatoes in the other. Then I would take some of the potatoes and feed my dog mostly the meat because it had very little vegetable. The whole reason I went to NomNomNow was to get this little guy to lose weight and to get a better nutritional balance. So, potatoes is not the answer. I stopped using them because I was really upset with it. Now, I’m just using this prescription diet that my vet gave me. I have seen a new one and I’m gonna give them a trial week to see if it’s better than NomNomNow because I would like to go back to fresher ingredients.

Good food. Sometimes she doesn't eat and I have to throw it away. Too many carrots in the chicken. My dog eats around them. For the most part she likes the food. I got the sample pack and she seemed to like the pork and turkey. Will order next.

I decided to try this fresh/frozen food after I received info from a Vets ofc about these new pet meal options, not as an endorsement, but general info about the different brands. I thought NomNomNow came with decent reviews, so I chose this company as first choice. Bad Idea. While the food smells fresh, and my Dog seemed to like it, the second order of the Chicken Food was a bad choice.
I first noticed gristle and fat in every package, what was suppose to be chicken was brown and did not look that good. About 3 weeks after having the Chicken meals, my dog started having eye drainage and anal problems. I took her to the Vet, stopped the food, and got meds for what seemed like allergy issues. I also tried to change the meal she would get in her 3rd order, and attempted to do that, but their website had problems. After 4 attempts, on different devices, I received an email that another round of the Chicken meal would arrive the next day.
I tried to get them to stop the full shipment process and send back to the company, due to what was website failure. Their customer service at this point was horrible. They did not believe that the Chicken contained the inedible pieces of fat and gristle that I had to throw out in every pack. I threw some packs away as my dog would not eat the food anymore. I guess she knew it made her sick. They even told me to take pictures for them, but refused to send me a proper container to send the food back for them to look at the problem.
They then told me gristle and fat were digestible. Apparently not if my dog's anal glands were blocked. The first time in 6 years any of those problems plagued her. I asked if they had pictures of their facility, they said No! I asked where it was located, I suddenly regretted that I did not check thoroughly enough. My food was made in TN, they said... but I still have no address to search the location on google maps for TN. They also make it in CA.
I got the address of 371 3rd St, Oakland CA... Map Google it for yourself and ask if yourself if you would want your Dog’s Food made in that building. I have another Vet visit coming up. The bad has outweighed any good even trying this food has caused. I feel very guilty for not asking more questions, because my dog is still having the problems after 3 weeks. Do your Research, please.

This product is the best! My foster fail would not eat his meals regularly and had chronic diarrhea. Since switching to NomNomNow, not only does he chow down his dinner but his stool has formed and firmed. I could not be happier! The reps are also very nice and super helpful!

This is my first few days of NomNomNow for my two cats and I'm very concerned as there's not enough chicken. I've even dug through a package to see if maybe some chicken is simply minced really small compared to a couple noticeable chunks of chicken. For the past few days, my guys eat the 3 or 4 chicken bits they find, and leaving the cantaloupe and veggies untouched.
So now I have to feed them protein after their NomNomNow. I spoke with a representative (very nice) today that asked that I email them pictures for the next week of the food portions. (Egads) I'll not be feeding my guys this for the next week -- it's not healthy enough. Indeed, I will feed them NomNomNow for the next couple of days, email photos, and hopefully find that I received a badly proportioned batch of food and can get a revised, properly portioned set of meals resent. I love the idea and convenience of NonNomNow, but this is seriously not enough meat.

We started with our little dog. He has only been on it for 2 months. We have a vet appointment at the end of the year to determine if this is a good choice. It is appealing looking in ways. We are happy to not go to the store to buy food.

We are quite satisfied with Nom Nom. Some of the packages seem to leak when they are defrosted. I looked for holes but it seems some of the seams leak on some. Also I think there should be a little more meat in the packs. Some veggies are pretty good. My dog loves pork but she won't eat the meal as it has so many potatoes in it.

I had a concern early on in my relationship and it was responded to promptly and completely that Related to mailing cost for microbe tests. I've been purchasing NomNomNow for about five months. It was kind of a fluke. I got an ad through email from the AKC. I have a purebred Scottie who's registered through them. And so, I kinda took a look at NomNomNow's website from there, and it intrigued me. I also liked what I saw on their website and how they described the process of making their food and what goes in their food. My dog doesn't have any formulation preference because they give me the ability to choose a variety of all their flavors, and that's what I do. And since I've been using it, my dog literally dances every time I pull one of those packets out of their fridge and she sees it. So, to me, that's the proof in the pudding. And I love the fact that NomNomNow is using fresh ingredients. And when I look at that dog food, I can actually see the meat and the vegetable, and I can tell what the ingredients are just visually looking at it. And also, it doesn't smell too bad.
Since feeding my dog NomNomNow, she's more active. Her eyes appear brighter and more alert. She's only three years old, so she's not old but it appears her coat feels smoother. Overall, she appears to be happier and look healthier. One of the other things I really like about NomNomNow is the fact that I get it mailed on a regular basis. I don't have to think about running out of food. That's a huge plus for me. We were feeding my dog Blue Buffalo, and the price point is not that much different, and it saves me not having to go to the store with my gas. So the little bump in price is almost nonexistent for me.
The only thing I could ask them to do is to have breed specifics. And I say that because I got a scottie. My dog's a little dog. Her health needs and concerns are different than a Saint Bernard. And so, a breed specific or maybe size specific food would be good. Scotties also tend to get bladder cancer, and we lost our first Scottie to cancer. So, food specifically geared towards that would also be good. I would recommend them to come up with a plan that's specific for targeting different health things.

My cat has a lot of digestive issues, so we were trying something to see if it would work. He’s nine. His name is Elvis. He’s a short-haired, black kitty. I've been purchasing NomNomNow for a couple of months for him and it's been fine. Feeding him with natural ingredients is very valuable, especially concerning his health challenges. I'm giving him the fish because he is allergic to chicken. It was the only other option that wasn’t chicken. I've seen a difference in his health since I've been giving him NomNomNow. His fur is nicer and he is not throwing up nearly as much until the last couple of days. Something’s going on with him. So, I need to take him to the vet.

I tried NomNomNow for my two cats. I wanted to try a fresh food, and they had the simplest recipe. I tried it for two months and my cats didn’t like it at all. I could not get them to eat it. And my cats are pretty amenable to eating anything. But NomNomNow is a great quality product and they have superb customer service.
