After reading many horrible reviews online I have to disagree with them. I ordered for the first time from Wayfair... a patio swinging bench. I have to admit the quality was not as good as I had thought it would be but, the delivery was great and 3 days early. There was a crack in one of the pieces of wood and immediately I was told another complete bench would be sent out and not to bother sending the cracked one back. Now that’s great customer service. No arguments about it. We were able to repair the cracked piece so we will have two benches for the price of one.

I was frustrated by my inability to contact anyone regarding two orders and wrote a complaint regarding that. I did it rather impulsively and wish to apologize to Wayfair for that. I called customer service again and remained on hold. I spoke with Meghan and she straightened everything out. She combined the two orders and all items were delivered on time and in good condition. The delivery people were great, the furniture is beautiful and I am a very happy customer. We are now looking at kitchen/dining furniture. Again I apologize for my rush to judgement.

I recently placed two online orders with Wayfair Furniture. I saw exactly what I wanted and the company was nearby in Boston. What could go wrong. The information available when placing orders indicated that items would be shipped by a date that was only a few days away. Then their confirmation indicates that they will be shipped not to you but to some delivery service. The tracking is so vague you get nothing from that. I have tried to call but you can't get customer service no matter how long you wait on the line. I have found no way to find out what is going on with the delivery. We have removed our old furniture and are waiting. I would never buy from these people again and would not recommend them to anyone. I can only HOPE we see the furniture arrives soon and it is of good quality.

Wayfair has been one of the most accommodating businesses I have ever ordered from. Punctual with email, polite on the phone and hassle free. Received a mirror which was damaged upon delivery, they replaced it immediately without me having to ship it back.

We ordered and received (after a month) a loveseat, which turned out to be defective - had a bent frame, and one side's recliner didn't function. I did reach a rep on the phone, who said that someone would get back to me in 1 business day with a refund. It's now been 48 hours, they are impossible to reach on the phone due to "reduced" staff, and we are out over $500 with a defective product in our house.

I had an awesome first experience with this company. I have never purchased furniture online before and I feel like I got a high quality product at a great price and it was delivered shockingly fast to me. I was frustrated by the setup as you can imagine by putting furniture together, and even had to call in for assistance on an issue with a part, but the customer service was great. Very happy with this purchase and couldn't be more satisfied with the interaction between a company. 5*.

So, most people know that you get what you pay for with online ordering. Well, we decided to purchase some nicer items hoping that they would pan out. Well, it's a month later and one of our items is still being "prepared to ship". We originally emailed them after a week of nothing being sent and us not being charged and they claimed there was a "computer issue" and because they didn't have the size of one of our items they couldn't ship the other 7. Everything was shipped SEPARATELY. Talk about a flat out lie.
Next, we got a few items, and they were poor quality. We emailed checking in on the rest of our items only to get a generic response passing us on to someone else who NEVER got back with us. Another week goes by and we're still missing several items, one was shipped to the wrong address, and another is still not here. We've received no response from them and are furious. Their apparent lack of customer service, ethics, care for their customers, and integrity is disappointing and disgusting. We highly recommend you looking anywhere else for furniture than here. Save yourself the time, money, and stress of dealing with such an unprofessional company.

I ordered my daughter a futon mattress on June 13, 2017. Wayfair indicated it was shipped on June 15, 2017, at which time my credit card was charged. As of today's date, July 24, 2017, the futon mattress is still not delivered. On July 18, 2017, I made a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, I received a response from Wayfair indicating there was a mix up with the shipping and it had been sitting in the warehouse. It was supposed to be delivered today between 1-5 p.m. and now they tried stating my daughter asked for a new delivery date. WRONG!! They never contacted her. After 45 minutes worth of phone calls, the mattress was never in the warehouse and now they are doing a "dock search" to try to locate it. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a company. Never order from Wayfair!

I ordered a daybed for our patio from Wayfair. The local shipping company did not deliver as promised. The merchandise was never delivered to us. I called and requested a refund. I was told I had to wait 2-3 days until the merchandise was returned to Wayfair. It has been over a week and I have heard nothing from them. The merchandise never left the possession of their delivery carrier, yet they refuse to issue the refund. Also, they do not currently have enough customer service staff, so the choices are to wait 20+ minutes on hold to reach someone or send an email and hope to hear back in two days. Horrible.

This company is the worst. They will never be a successful business if they continue to treat their customers the way that they do now. Cancelling orders weeks after it has been placed and drilling customers as if they are the internet police. Who do you think you are? I would give them -5 stars if it is an option.

We agreed at the point that I placed the order that it would arrive Friday, Jun 16 within a timeframe of 8 AM - 12 PM. The item arrived incomplete (Bed frame without the headboard). I had already removed my previous bed from my home in preparation for my new bed delivery and am now without a functional bed for sleeping. That being said, I am a very reasonable person and understand these types of oversights may happen. I promptly called your Wayfair Business customer service line and was told that the replacement headboard would be shipped out immediately and I was content with this resolution. I was given a delivery date of June 30, 2017.
Even though they did not have the courtesy to give me the Inside Home Entrance Drop-Off service level that I had paid for with my initial order, I still took off work to be home to accept the now door step only drop-off delivery. The item was never delivered. I had to initiate a call to your company to find out why no one bothered to contact me about my delivery being cancelled. They apologized and I receive another delivery date of July 5th. Again, I take off from work and wait all day, but my headboard was never delivered. I reach out to your company again and I was told that they are waiting on a response from the freight company to track the item. I keep calling and emailing for updates on the status of my order. They thank me for my patience and tell me they will contact me when they hear back from the Freight company.
This is not acceptable. I placed my order with Wayfair not the Freight company. I paid my money to Wayfair. It should not take this long to track my item. I fear my complaints and even my repeated requests for a replacement have fallen on deaf ears. They could have shipped out a whole other headboard to me overnight delivery at this point. All I get instead is a reassurance from them that they are looking into the matter. It will be the month of August in a few days. I ordered this item in May.

I ordered a desk and filing cabinet. Updates of shipping immediate. However, after you receive product - the problems begin. Missing parts are never replaced. I went through the website process of filing a claim of missing parts. It states they will get back with you within 48 hours. NO REPLY. Later, I received an email from Wayfair about my dissatisfaction and asking if they could resolve. When I stated I needed the missing parts the emails stopped.
I wrote a review on the products because Wayfair requested it. When I wrote about the missing parts, I was emailed it could not go up because of content. Consumers are not made aware of the company policy of not providing missing parts, etc. The service is nonexistent to resolve any problems. This is the 3rd time this has happened with Wayfair. No more. I would strongly suggest you think very seriously when purchasing large items from this company.

Whatever you do do not plan on purchasing anything with Wayfair unless you would like to wait for your furniture for 6 months. I purchased the bedroom set and it took six months of time and 10 hours of my phone time trying to communicate with these people to get my item. They took my funds for the payment immediately and then it was not delivered for six months. The transportation division that they work with is also a joke and adds to the delays. Company doesn't care about you or your wait until you file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

I have ordered a pool table which was supposed to arrive 1 1/2 months ago. Paid for it but still no delivery. They keep inventing excuses even saying I had asked for a delay delivery. Crap customer services. Not serious!

Ordered platform bed in black, daughter wanted ivory. Fifteen minutes after original order called and canceled black bed and ordered the ivory bed. Representative said no problem. Cancellation, for original order, would arrive by email. Cancellation came but it was rejected. Was charged for both beds - Called, emailed company - no response. Only received an email describing how to return the item. The only problem is that the item is extremely heavy and they require me to pay for shipping. Since I canceled the order I asked them if they would pay for shipping. No reply and charge is still on my card for two beds. Contacted them several times - no response - not one.

I ordered a swing set for my grandson. I ordered it six weeks before his second birthday in an effort to ensure he would have it by his birthday. Since I ordered it so far in advance, I was diligent about checking the website to ensure an on-time delivery. Of course, the manufacturer announced a delay. I contacted Wayfair and explained the dilemma. I requested a conversation with a supervisor, and to my surprise, I got to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor, Brittany, was responsible and consistent. When she told me she would check on something and that she would call me back, she always did. She gave me her direct contact information so I did not have to contact customer service in the hopes that they would give her the message.
When it appeared that we would not receive the swing set at the designated time, she offered a generous discount. In the end, due to Brittany's intervention, the swing set made it into the area in time. Based on my experience, Brittany and Wayfair are rock stars! I have already ordered more products from them. I cannot thank them enough.

I spent a long period of time choosing a chest of drawers and nightstand for my dad for his assisted living. The representative finally found me one that could be delivered on or before his moving day. This was more important than the type, cost, etc. I tracked the order each day and it was on time until two days before and then all of a sudden it was a week late. I called and they said it was at local delivery but they did not have the number to call them and would call me back by the end of the day.
No call so I called again and they gave me the number which I did in the morning but they told me it was not there. Called Wayfair again and they finally (after three phone calls) found it in Orlando but said that it had to be delivered to Tampa first. I live equal distance from both cities. Bottom line was that my dad had to move in with nowhere to put his clothes. After moving him in I received a call from Orlando that it would be delivered in two days and the tracking said it had been there since July 6th... 6 days ago. I will never order from them again.

Place online order for bed and 2 dressers, got deal for last to dressers; Deverel 8 Drawer Dresser with Mirror. But at the end got 1 dresser in cart and had called customer rep and she said it’s only a mirror, what? I had added one thing in cart and got something else. Customer rep was rude, aggressive and she refuse to help me and I had canceled my complete order.

I ordered furniture for our new home just before we moved in. The few items showed they would be delivered before I took possession of the new house so I called Wayfair to explain my situation and ask them to delay the delivery or I could cancel the order until I took possession of the house. They assured me they would delay the delivery. Many items were delivered and left by the garage before I took possession. We had to just Leave the stuff since it was a foreclosure and we couldn't get permission to put the items inside. The coffee table was warped from the rain. They refunded that item.
My purchase was for $4044.79, they voided the payment. I then was requested to use a different method of payment so I used a different card. I was charged $3195.85 TWICE and $848.94. I was then refunded $2955.73. My account was then sent to collections for $2955.73. They said that if I paid the $2955.73 they would remove the account from the collection company. I again paid $1900.00 on one card and the rest on another just to stop it from appearing on my credit. After I paid I was told my account would be reviewed by accounting and if applicable reimbursed for overpayment. I was also told the account would be removed from collections within 24 hours.
I ended up providing proof the account was paid to the collection agency to have the case closed. I had to find out who the chief financial officer of Wayfair was and calling him to get my money refunded back. All of this has taken ONE ENTIRE YEAR to resolve and I'm still not sure how much I actually ended up paying just to make it go away.

We ordered both a desk chair and a writing desk from Wayfair on two different occasions. The chair arrived in a timely fashion but unfortunately was missing the majority of the parts. They refunded the cost but we had to repackage the chair and wait for pickup of the chair for two weeks which never ended up happening. Eventually the said to just throw it out!
The writing desk we ordered never arrived even though shipping tracking showed that it was to arrive on specific dates. I contacted Wayfair regarding the missing desk and their tracking had it delivered in Cincinnati, we live in Canada! They are now reshipping the writing desk to us. Unfortunately I have taken time off work for both the chair to be picked up and the desk to be delivered and it is costing us money every time they say there is a pick or delivery.

Wayfair is the most corrupt company out there... They post items on their website, you purchase and they send you junk!!! The last 2 months, I have never been so upset, aggravated in all my life... First item was damaged, etc... What I paid for is not what I got. Lesson learned... I warn everyone, don't buy their junk products from China, or better yet other countries... They make me sick!!! I thought since I paid with my Paypal account, they would make it right, but since I can't lift over 100lbs and stuff the mattress in a tiny box, because mattress comes compressed... I'm screwed! Never again... BUYER BEWARE!!!

This is the worst ever online buying experience I had. We ordered a dining room table and 8 chairs on May 29, 2017. The standard delivery date was around 6/27 or so. Although, almost a month to just deliver a dining set was too much but we decided to wait for it. Today is July 6, 2017 and there is no information when it will deliver to us.
My wife start calling them starting from July 1st but it seems that they do not know where the furniture is at right now. All they said that "it is in transition and we will call you tomorrow." Tomorrow never comes in Wayfair world and no one ever called. Today my wife called again and they were very rude on phone. Stating that you have to sit tight as it will deliver eventually but we do not have any way to confirm from our freight agent. It is up to them to call you. Wow! This is a company who does not know where their shipment is and how to track it. Look like a ripoff to me. Please think twice before making any purchase with them.

When ordering a product, Wayfair says "Ships by [2 days from now]!" implying the item would be arrive 2 days from now. Only after purchasing the product did they inform me the item would be delivered 4 weeks from now. When I cancelled online, they sent me a message 4 hours later saying, "Sorry, we cannot cancel this because it already shipped!" Absolutely terrible and deceptive business practice.

I ordered some bathroom tiles from Wayfair that advertised that it was from Daltile and it was polished. When I received the shipment, the tiles were not polished. I called Wayfair with the deliveryman standing right next to me and told them tiles were chipped and not polished. The representative told me that once I clean the tile, the shine will appear and I get 10% for chipped tiles... Now shame on me, I never dealt with that kind of tile so I said, "OK, we could use the chipped tiles for the edges or corners."
Later, when the contractors came to install the tile, he said the tile didn't look polish so I called Wayfair again. A representative told me again, "Once you clean the tile, you will see a polish. Try using the sealer with polish. That will bring it out." I said OK. Once all the tile was installed and we clean the tile still there was no shine so I called the manufacturer and they told me that wasn't polished tile. I called Wayfair, they apologized and refunded me back the money for the tile but would not refund me the money back that I had to pay the contractors to install the tile that I didn't want.
I paid for a polished tile. I spoke to the manager and he said he would change the description of the tile but he could not refund me my money that I paid the contractors to install the tile. I will have to take legal action against them. I have to pay the contractors again for demolition and put up the polished tiles that I want. Buyers beware of Wayfair, you don't always get what you see!

I ordered from Wayfair based on a recommendation from someone, now I regret it. I ordered a ton of new stuff for my apartment and the couch was my favorite piece! I went to put it together today and I'm missing both arm pieces! Two, three feet pieces are missing in order to put together this couch, do you understand how annoyed I am?! I call to get a replacement and they tell it will be here on the 12th of July!!! What type of nonsense is this?! I have to wait 12 more days because you messed up to get the rest of my couch?! All I was told in return is "We're sorry, I've already ordered your piece", **. They didn't offer half my money back, a coupon, nothing just a damn "sorry". They could rush this order if they wanted and have opted not to, this is the last time I shop with this company.

Wayfair is the worst company I have ever dealt with when it comes to honesty and scruples; they have NONE. Once the deferred time was exhausted, WayUnfair charged my husband and I double in interest. Buyers BEWARE. We paid more than our monthly charges, yet that was not accounted towards our deferred payments. WayUnfair's excuse was that the interest charges were calculated daily and that the extra was routed toward the daily interest and not the deferred. How stupid can this be??? WayUnfair will never get another dime from this household.

I ordered patio chairs from Wayfair with delivery estimated 1 week. No chairs ever came. I called and found out they were out of stock and on backorder. Was told I should have received notice, but didn't. Frustrating, but promised delivery in 3 more weeks. That seems a bit long, but I waited. Guess what? No chairs in 3 weeks. I call AGAIN. The rep tells me she has to call the warehouse to check as to why this has not been shipped. Gets back on the phone and says the warehouse is not answering their phone and she will have to email them and get back with me. Will take another day just to get a status. Seriously? I can't get information on whether I will ever receive this purchase. Interestingly, after my online chat I received a Wayfair survey - which I promptly filled out to tell them how unsatisfied I was - and the survey would not go through - a system error! Perfect set up so you don't receive feedback.

I bought 4 small pictures from Wayfair weight 22 pounds. Wayfair packed these pictures in a very large over-sized box and said it had to be shipped through a freight company because it was too large for UPS. The pictures were not what I expected. I called to return the pictures and was told I would not be refunded the $160.00 freight charges. So basically I paid $160 for nothing. I asked if I could repack the pictures in a smaller box and send UPS. They responded no. I will never shop Wayfair or Josh & Main again. What terrible customer service and deceptive practices.

We were told that the bunk bed was ready to be delivered at a nearby warehouse. It was promised today, two weeks later, that but it hasn't arrived. I have received nothing from them explaining the late delivery. I reminded them of it just now by email and wonder when we will see it. I kind of wish l hadn't ordered it now. I grade it a failure because we don't know what to do about this. I have read other reviews that make our problem seem mild. I have to wonder if all the hype contains falsehoods all the way through... More to come.

This is by far the worst furniture experience I've ever had. I bought a couch, desk and recliner. It took a week to get the desk, a month to get the couch and two months for the chair desk you assemble. Couch was delivered not as described. Was subpages to be velvet instead it was a crushed denim. False advertising. Each item was delivered by separate companies. The couch came. It was wrapped tight. Those delivery people were great when we opened it it had a huge tear in the back.
Wayfair made it right but they dumped the couch on us and we had to pay someone to remove it. Last but worse the chair was delivered today. Received no call, no email of delivery. I have video on my property. Delivery company opened the back door and kicked out the Chair which was in a huge box. They dumped it right in front of my driveway gates. I am home alone and now stuck in my home because I can't move the chair by myself. Had to go to next door neighbors to borrow a tarp. The ground is soaked and so is the box. Who knows what the chair will be when opened. I ran out to get the drivers to move the chair and they saw me and kept driving. WTF... Don't buy here. It's a nightmare, crap shot on your experience, SHAMEFUL.

I bought a living room suite and a coffee table. I was under the impression that it would be all shipped together as I ordered it all at once. I paid extra to have them bring the items in the house and put them together. At no time was I informed that the coffee table would arrive separately and in pieces. I wouldn't have purchased it had I known. At no time was I informed that I'd have to put the table together myself. So that was a waste of money. The coffee table (over $400) arrived separately alone, and the delivery person wouldn't put it together. It's still sitting in its box in my kitchen. I spoke online with a rep who disconnected on me, after telling me they wouldn't put it together.
The living room suite was over $3000. It arrived today at a warehouse 30 mins from my house. It will sit in that warehouse for another 2 weeks because the delivery company isn't coming out my direction til then. I have a feeling that if it is the same quality as the coffee table, it too will be a piece of crap. I won't know until... and if... it arrives. I wrote to the Wayfair company who responded pretty promptly with 'too bad, so sad'. They won't put the coffee table together and I'll just have to wait another 2 weeks for the furniture. When you spend $5000 for a coffee table, 2 chairs and a couch, you assume you're getting quality and expect some customer service. I assumed wrong. My mistake. I'll never do this again.

I recently bought a product from Wayfair. I just received a call from them asking if I was satisfied with the product. I was, so I said "yes". I was only then told that I would receive $10 (coupon) for reviewing the product. By asking how I felt before advising of the $10 promotion, they are essentially stacking the deck in favor of positive reviews. No doubt that if I was dissatisfied, they would not have encouraged me to share that fact via a review. Adding insult to injury, when I then went to write a review sharing this experience and what I think of it, Wayfair deleted the negative review.
Neither my comment nor my "could improve" star rating show on the product I bought. I am also prevented from attempting to re-review the product to share my opinion. I was satisfied with Wayfair until they tried to use me to cook the books. And now that they have further hidden my criticism from others, they have actually turned a friend into a foe. Stupid and, frankly, fraudulent in my view.

I ordered a sofa from Wayfair on May 5 and was expected to get it by May 30. It was being shipped from California on freight. The sofa never came on the expected date. I called and they said it should be there by June 7th. Still no sofa by that date, so I called again. They told me they were investigating my order. After many calls to Wayfair they told me that my sofa "got lost in transit". They went on to tell me that they could reorder it and have it shipped out a month a later and then get by middle of August! What a waste of time! There was no transparency in the order and I personally had to call them many times to get an update. You would think I would get emails or a call if something changed. The way they handled the order was a real letdown and made me distrust the company from then on.

Very busy with work leaving me with the convenience of shopping online. I purchased a bean bag Big Joe chair style for 63.56$. They said it will take up to 4 week shipping thinking to myself that's very long I went along with it and waited. Finally arrived after 4 weeks. Opened the box and discovered a pink chair. I obviously have ordered a black one since I'm a 21 year old man. By then you can see how disappointed I would be but what can you do. This kind of stuff happened so I called them and they said they'll send a black one. All good. Two days later I'm sitting on the chair and noticed the tag with a price of 29.98. I didn't know what to make of this. I thought it was a joke. A prank by my roommates or something. When I go online and see every website selling it for $25-$30 (chutzpah mamesh).
I immediately picked up the phone and gave them a second call. I explained the situation to the customer service representative. She sounded very confused and put me on hold for around 20 minutes. Basically all they can do to help me out and make me a happy customer is refund my money and have me return the product to them. This was the most inconvenient unprofessional experience I've ever had with a business before. I hope they come through to make things right.

If you want to return the product because you don't like it, you have to pay the freight to return. Which happens to be half of what my product is worth so I have to keep it and try to sell it on my own to get my money back. Purchasing online has always made me nervous and this is why. You don't get to see and feel the product. They should give a guarantee that you will like their product and if not they will send it back. I will never buy from Wayfair again because of that. If you purchase from here, MAKE SURE YOU LOVE THE PRODUCT!!!

We ordered a bedroom set for $1000s. A major piece of the bed frame showed up damaged. The headboard has split wood from where a nail was nailed in. They sent a replacement for the bed frame that showed up even more damaged. Thing is, they used FedEx. It's a very large box and somewhat heavy. One lady FedEx driver was in charge of delivering it. Not that a lady can't deliver a large box but this is at least a 2 person job, maybe even 3 if you're trying to prevent damage. She rolled the box end over end up my 4 front steps to get the box in. I helped but she insisted on that method. Of Course it's going to be damaged. I can't believe they sent the replacement in such a manner. After doing research, I see that 1000s, including folks in my owner family, have had equal terrible experiences. My dad ordered a table that showed up in pieces a few months ago.

Wayfair should change their name to WayUnfair. Their prices are not the best. Price matching does not seem to be an option. Customer service is not a priority. Changing your mind about an order does not go well. Forty-five minutes after placing an order on Thursday that showed a shipping date for Friday, I cancelled it. Online information indicated that an order could be cancelled as long as the order had not been shipped.
Upon cancellation of the order, a notation from Wayfair indicated that I would be notified within one business day as to whether or not the cancellation would be permitted. I was floored!! That one day delay guaranteed that the order was shipped out and that the cancellation was not "allowed." Now if I want to return the item when I receive it, I will have to pay the shipping cost. This was my first interaction with Wayfair and I doubt I will either order again or recommend them to others. In fact, I already shared this experience with other shoppers and as a result, their comments in general suggested that Wayfair was a company they would avoid.

Although I've ordered (and received) many products from both Amazon and eBay, I had never before ordered from Wayfair. I thought ordering something I needed but that wasn't too expensive would be a good way to test Wayfair. After all the shipping is free, right? They say as much in their jingle... Wrong. The item I ordered was 14$ and the shipping over (standard delivery) was 12$ (for a single cookie sheet). Accordingly, I left the SS cookie sheet in the basket without purchasing for a few days since I didn't really want to pay twice the listed price, but they hounded me about the item in my cart so often I decided to buy it just to stop the constant emails.
A week later I received an email indicating that the package had arrived. I'm furnishing a new home, repairing an older car and building my workshop. As a result I have ordered well over two hundred items from Amazon and eBay over the past few months and I do not leave things on my porch very long. I immediately went out to retrieve the package, but none was to be found. I notified Wayfair and was sent an email that the item was delivered. Perhaps it was, although not to me. When I finally was able to receive anything but a form response, they apologized and supposedly sent a replacement. That also never arrived. Again, I was home and as soon as their "Yahoo, your item has been delivered" message was sent, I went out to look... Nothing. Of course I sent another email indicating that nothing arrived and again checked the accuracy of my address they had on file. The address was correct.
Here's the thing. As stated over the past few months I've ordered and received many items via the post office, UPS and FedEx. Often I receive 4-5 packages from all three services almost daily. They know where I live and I know about what time they will drop off. UPS even knocks on the door when they leave a package. I'm retired and am home most of the time, often in my garage workshop and I can usually determine when deliveries have come just by the sound of their trucks. I mention this because nothing stays on my porch for long and of the hundreds of items delivered NONE have been missing from Amazon and only one from eBay which they quickly reimbursed me for.
The point is that local delivery trucks know my house and aren't likely to miss deliver anything, especially the same item twice. I've neither received a refund or the item I paid 28$ for from Wayfair. From my perspective this is the best commercialized con game going. Quality commercials but EXTREMELY POOR service and miserable customer service. If you need to purchase online, do yourself a favor and use Amazon. eBay is also trustworthy and I'm sure most of the online business are as well. Unfortunately the Wayfair commercials showing happy people ordering product from Wayfair is just marketing and nothing more.

I made my first purchase and my last purchase with Wayfair on May 6th. I purchased a couch for a summer home which I needed for company arriving on June 10th. When purchasing the couch it had in small print 3-4 weeks delivery which was one of the reasons I purchased the couch. I was hesitate on buying a couch from Wayfair but since HGTV promotes Wayfair and I love HGTV and the style of the couch I thought I would have a good experience. My original delivery day was June 5, then it changed to June 27th, July 7, July 10th and now I find out, 6 weeks after purchasing the couch that the frame is on backorder and the new delivery date is July 14th. So for 6 weeks my order sat idle.
No one contacted me to tell me this would be a custom order and if you look at their website it states, "6 in stock, buy now". So the content is inaccurate as this couch is not in stock. I would recommend if you plan on buying a large item like a couch that you get all the facts when you purchase it. Wayfair has sent me a 10% voucher for my next purchase. Do they really think I would purchase anything from them again after this experience? I generally do not post complaints but I am very unhappy and frustrated and I don't want other Wayfair customers to experience what I am experiencing.

I placed an order for bunk beds over the phone. My reason for ordering over the phone vs online was to confirm that the $89 delivery fee also included assembly. I was assured the beds would be assembled. When my order was delivered, the crew brought the boxes up to the bedroom, took everything out, brought the boxes to their truck and then told me that the bed would take over an hour to assemble and since they didn't have enough time another crew would be sent out that day to put the beds together. I then received a call from their shipping department telling me there was some confusion and Wayfair does NOT assemble bunk beds. I informed her that the only reason that I purchased this bed from Wayfair was because I was promised that it would be assembled. She said she would try and have someone in my area to put it together by the weekend and that I would hear back from someone that day to confirm.
Well I never heard back from anyone, so I emailed customer service the next day to follow up since I had A LOT of parts to a bunk bed scattered all over the place and a 7 year with no bed to sleep in. And again I did not receive a response. So two days later I called their customer service department, they apologized again and said they would attempt to find someone to assemble it. Since I now have zero faith in Wayfair, I told them I would just assemble it myself. I am so disgusted by all of this. I was given incorrect information just so I would make the purchase. I will never do business with Wayfair again and I will be sure to let everyone know about my experience.

Wayfair presents itself as very customer friendly. But they try to trick you into purchasing their credit card by minimizing how much you have to purchase to get the promised benefits; also, they force you to sign into their systems in order to complete a purchase, unlike other vendors that allow you to leave as a guest without broader involvement. I think they are manipulative. Very disappointing.

I ordered 3 massage beds, parts of it were damaged. I did not call to complain however someone from the department called me to check in. He was very good and understand he even offered to send me 3 new beds once I email him some photos. After sending me the photos he called again to confirm that he received it and that he will be sending another delivery. It's almost a year and I still did not receive anything. Tried emailing 4 times and I got no reply.

Ordered a tank for my son and he loved it and rode it every day since his birthday for almost a year until it broke. We had the warranty so they were going to send us a new one. Well then we found out it was sold out and on backorder for a month or so. Then it was that we would get it in another month on or before 6/5. We were told we would get emailed shipment information. 6/5 came and went and we received no information, so I had to email a person to find out that they had no information. Then I got another email that we wouldn't get it until August. Who knows if that was the truth! My son has been waiting for his tank that he rode every day and we keep telling him it's coming but that is a lie. They have made us disappoint our son by giving guaranteed dates. We finally just had to cancel it and get our money back so we could order it through someone else. What a waste of our time in the first place, poor kid.

We have tried 4 times to order an area rug through Wayfair only to have it cancelled each time. My father-in-law originally ordered it for us as a housewarming gift, but it was cancelled. My wife then ordered it with her credit card thinking that maybe because it was a different address than the billing address, but was cancelled again. I ordered it with my credit card, saw the pending transaction go through on my card and thought FINALLY Wayfair has their act together. HA! Got another email back a day later saying it was cancelled. So, I used PayPal, which has verified my cards and accounts for well over 10 years now. Guess what happened? Order went through, then a day later came back cancelled.
I called Wayfair twice to find out what the hell is wrong with them. All they would say is that they needed to verify some information. I asked them, "What information?" and they said they couldn't tell me??? Really? You want to verify some information but you won't tell me what you want verified? That's like saying "I need directions from you but I can't tell you where I am going." They did tell me that I could purchase it by sending them a personal cheque or money order. Really? No protection on my part by using a credit card, yet they are concerned about fraudulent activity. Well it certainly seems a little fraudulent on their part. I haven't used cheques for years now as they cost so damn much to order (which the so called Wayfair "Manager" was unaware that you had to pay for cheques). Avoid this company like the plague. They are oblivious to the real world of online purchasing. You will only encounter misery with this outfit.

Order a pricey floor fan because it was metal construction (and also looked nice). Received previously used unit with bent and missing components that probably had been returned because the construction was shoddy (a metal joint between the motor housing and the "neck" of the stand mount was loose so that the fan hung downward ten degrees). Submitted a return request. Got an automated response. And then dead silence. Three days out I submitted another request. Nothing. I'll go through the bother of contesting the credit card shortly. NOT going back there again.

My husband and I were looking to buy an outside dining set from Joss & Main. We found one that was listed at $491. I knew this was a very good price. This was listed on Sunday, June 4th. We tried to put it in our cart and it continually came up in the cart as $1116. We took a screenshot with the time. On Monday morning June 5th my husband called Joss & Main, which is Wayfair. The service representative told him that the table set was an open box item. That it had sold and had not been corrected in inventory, so the price was not available. There were 4 more listed as "available" on the website. He told her that that price was still listed now on Monday and they needed to sell it at the price advertised. She refused and told him there was nothing she could do.
After hanging up he filed an online complaint with the BBB of Boston. Within 20 minutes he got a phone call from a customer service advocate at Wayfair. She apologized and told him that she had seen the listing for the $491 which was still present on their website. Her excuse was it was a site error. That price was supposed to be for the table only. He told her that the listing was for the entire set and that now there was 6 available. She said she could give him the set at "cost" of $850. He said we were only interested in the set for the listed price. She told him that they would be "unable" to sell it for the listed price. If we were uninterested in that one at "cost" she would make it right by giving us 20% off anything else on the website. End of conversation.
Tuesday morning, June 6th my husband rechecked the website and it was still listed at $491. At noon he e-mailed this "customer advocate" (even though she didn't advocate for anything for us) and told her that "Due to the fact that you still have the item listed for $491 I have to insist that you honor that price." Her reply was "It can take up to 24 hours for the item to be removed" and that as discussed they wouldn't honor the mislisted price. She also included a copy of the Joss & Main policy that gave a disclaimer stating they didn't have to. End of e-mail.
Immediately after this e-mail he checked the website and the item was gone. That evening at 7 p.m. we checked again and found the item listed again for $491. We took a screenshot of this. Wednesday mid-morning he checked Joss & Main and found the item now listed at $1094. We had been customers for many years. I will never purchase anything from them or any subsidiaries. I wish I could give them a negative rating. They may say it takes 24 hours but it sure didn't take 24 hours to fix the price in their favor. Huh! Companies like this should be obligated like ALL COMPANIES are, to honor their listing. PERIOD.

Got my island and there were no hardware, screws or bolts. When I called to address the situation I was credited $30 to rebuy the hardware, and was told it was more than enough for my gas and time. The items I could get totalled over $100. Then I was later informed, even though I was left with useless wood in my kitchen, I wasn't important enough for them to overnight the hardware. This was my first time buying from Wayfair and it will be the last. I'm better off sticking with the high end retailers. I didn't save any money. I'm actually spending more dealing with Wayfair.

Buyer beware. The "retail" prices that are shown before discount are fraudulent to make you think you are getting savings. Their "retail" price is more than 2 times the prices anywhere on the web. When I contacted customer service, I was given the runaround that they could not verify the prices I showed as proof of the fraud. Please make sure you do a quick google search for the items you intend to buy. You will most likely save 20% or more.

I ordered a bathroom vanity April 2, and by the end of May I've had two vanities delivered, and both were cracked upon arrival. The third vanity was scheduled for delivery mid-June. So as you can see, not only were the vanities damaged upon delivery, but the turn around time is lengthy. In fairness, I did receive a full refund when I decided not to opt for a third delivery. We need a vanity now.

We recently remodeled a spare bedroom and my wife decided to order $2k plus from Wayfair to furnish it. 1st order arrived missing the 5 drawer chest but the two nightstands that arrived felt cheap and wasn't the quality at all I was expecting. 2nd order (bed) arrived and was the wrong size. 2nd order was corrected by their customer service and the correct size was delivered without notice and left on our deck. I brought the boxed bed into the room to assemble and found a section of the painted particle board (the bed sideboard) damaged and what appeared to be glued by the manufacturer to correct the defect. We've emailed customer service to arrange return for these items and yet to receive a reply. Wayfair goods is by far the cheapest furniture I've ever seen. Ikea furniture I had in my college days was far superior in quality. Stay away from Wayfair.

I ordered a 9x12 rug. On the same day I ordered the same size rugs from 3 other sites. All of them have arrived but Wayfair. I have opened support tickets, as the item has not been updated on tracking in over 2 weeks. The estimated delivery date has been adjusted back several times, and no explanation on why. My recent encounter with support was them saying, "This is the date it will arrive." (the adjusted one) and shutting down the chat without any further dialog. They don't seem to have a problem with a package not being updated for 2 weeks, and with the sliding estimated arrival date, they won't address until the estimated arrival date passes. I could have ordered the same rug elsewhere and it would have likely arrived by now. I wanted to try Wayfair's services, as I have heard great things about them, but unfortunately that has not been the case for this order.

I ordered some flatware from Wayfair. It was late at night--you know how you can get when stay up all night on the net--your judgment is clouded. It was into the afternoon the next day when I KNEW the purchase was a mistake. I called Wayfair's customer service. The woman could have said, "That has shipped. Sorry." She probably would have been following protocol and reason. Instead she called the warehouse for me. My order had been pulled and was ready to go but she got them to cancel it. I was so grateful. Oh and she was understanding and personable. ("I know how those late night shopping sprees go!") Well done, Wayfair. I had heard negative reviews about their customer service, so I wanted to say my experience was excellent--and I will be back to buy something (if I can only make up my mind)!

One and a half month ago I've ordered "Corporate Reversible Chaise Sectional" and I paid 579$. After waiting for more than a month for the delivery, that wasn't OK at all, I received a wrong product. I received "Veedersburg Sofa and Loveseat Set" that belongs to the same collection, but costs 504$. Unfortunately I discovered that only after I received and signed the delivery, I couldn't imagine that I cannot rely on them and that I need to check the Product number and to verify that it is the same product number. Moreover, because they belong to the same collection, they look pretty the same on the picture of the box. I've opened a ticket to their support and sent an email to their Delivery manager, no reply from them till now. When you open a ticket, you receive an automatic reply that they will contact you withing 8 hours. Beware of this company!!! If something happens you have no one to talk with.

As an experienced purchaser, Wayfair should not be your 1st choice, or even at all... but if you have lots of money to burn, then go for it. Wayfair is far too overpriced for selling similar or the same products elsewhere. My advice is to search as many places/sites on the internet. You'll be surprised what you can find for a far better deal. Don't fall for their advertisement, and how often they pop up on google searches. I'm not saying Wayfair is a bad site, just overpriced. Take your time and search.

Every piece of furniture I have ordered from Wayfair so far (bed, buffet, kitchen table, 6 chairs, patio furniture) has come on time and unscathed. I did receive an incorrect art piece once and they fixed it immediately. This is a great company and you can't beat the value and selection.

I ordered two sconces from Wayfair. One of them was defective. I called, and they promised they would ship a replacement "express". They even sent an email confirming this. Instead, they shipped it ground. As a consequence, the item did not arrive until after I left that residence to spend the summer elsewhere. Had they shipped it express as they promised, I would have received it in time before leaving. I email them three times about this and never received a response. At. All. I will never order anything else from Wayfair. They are simply too untrustworthy. And, they follow up their bad service with... Nothing.

Consumers beware before purchasing anything through Wayfair. First I bought my daughter the Springboro swing set with the intention that it was going to be delivered before her birthday and it was not. Now here's where the disappointment really comes in, there were quite a few boards that were split and needed replacement. One of the boards even had the pre-drill a hole in the wrong area and then I had to go out and buy $40 worth of extra screws to (their gold screw store bought silver) complete putting up the swing not to mention that the knob for the playhouse door was missing. The wood peels and flakes. Splinter in child's legs always. I spoke with Miss Amy ** from Wayfair Who assured me that replacement parts will be sent within two weeks. It's been about two months.
You would think Wayfair was offer me $40 a discount for having to paso the board split easy and some had splits on them when received. Buy extra screws to get the swing set up for my daughter for a child who does not understand why they can't play other toy but no, they did not. In months have been by is still no replacement boards and they are hounding me for a $25 payment which I did not pay as a result for the rude customer service. They have called me four times within the past two days from unknown number and from a number. This is for one missed payment of $25 yet I would say they owe me $40 plus for the additional cost that the swing set has cost me.
Last person I spoke with basically told me that I have to go to the company they bought the product from to get replacement parts. This is crap. I bought the products from this company not the swing set maker and they're making me jump hoops but yet they want their $25. So I asked you or is this the type of customer service you want. I would not buy from Wayfair. They do not represent the values of an American company that I respect. If you had experiences such as this I asked you please to post them tweet them Facebook them as I am going to do. Horrible horrible company. Missed payment of $25 due to them not replacing the parts and for me have his been extra $40 to complete the swing set and they're harassing me over a $25 payment one. This is complete crap. I received outdoor furniture on April 19th. The bottom of the large box was not sealed at all which the delivery person took note of. The hardware for the couch was not in the box. I called Wayfair and was given a delivery specialist. She tried to tell me that the parts are in a red bag in the box, which they were not. So she said she would get me the parts shipped out quickly! Believing that {what a fool I am} I have been emailed several times saying that the parts have shipped, that they won't ship them by mail but by FedEx or UPS. Just got another email saying they shipped them out by mail!! June 4th...still no parts!! First and last time I will order from Wayfair!!! Not a reputable company in my opinion. They do not even deserve 1 star. Never again!!!

I simply went to purchase some vanity lights and a pop-up window said something like "Get $40 off your purchase if approved for the Wayfair credit card". It was a very clear and straightforward message that I could get that discount from the items in my cart. So I applied, got approved and then was notified afterward that it has to be a purchase of $250 or more for the discount. Definitely false advertising but when I called and canceled the credit card, I spoke to someone in the credit dept and they refused to take the hard inquiry off my report, even though I mentioned the blatant false advertising. I don't recommend Wayfair.

Honestly I don't know where or how to start. I don't usually care much about leaving comments on any website. If anything bothers me I just stop shopping with them but this time I had to share. At first I placed a order using my boyfriend’s credit card because I don't have a credit card and of course with his approval, so it's normal that we have 2 different addresses, so I added my shipping address and all the information needed and placed the order.
3 days later I call them and ask them where my order was cause it did say 3 days to ship. They told me it was cancelled. I mean really cancelled. Okay. No problem. But at least inform the person so I decided to speak to a supervisor cause no one would explain why. Anyways the supervisor comes to phone 30 minutes later and boy that supervisor was probably the most annoying person I've ever spoke to. So unprofessional. So sleepy. So slow. Before each word he has to say, “Ummm” like 10 times. Anyways he explained to that me they can't ship to a different address than the billing address. I asked him why. He said because of fraud and the payment didnt go thru so I explained the situation and had my boyfriend talk to them. We even called our credit card provider. They told us it was fine from their end cause we always use the same credit card for online shopping with Amazon, eBay, Wish, etc.
So at the end of the conversation the supervisor told us The only way it would work if my boyfriend opens a account with Wayfair and buys Wayfair gift card and sends them to me as gift so we didn't mind. We just wanted what we saw so my boyfriend did exactly what was told and send me 2 gift cards worth 750$ total. That was done on a Thursday so I tried to purchase with the gift card. It kept telling me card # unavailable. I recalled customer service. They said it can take up to 24h to activate. Of course I was mad because they don't mention that before you buy but anyways no problem. We're almost there so I try again 24h later. Message changed to these cards has already been used. I recalled with so much frustration.
Here is the bomb. They said it was cancelled to protect fraud activity like really??? The supervisor told us to do this step by step so I call back and there was nothing they could do. 1 week of suffering. One week of energy over the phone which I hate doing for the same result as the first but I learned my lesson and thanks to Wayfair I now know how valuable Amazon and other companies are. Never in my life I had such a sad unpleasant experience but now I'm very happy for what I bought from Amazon. I don't mind waiting more for a better experience. Amazon said I would recipient the items in 1 to 3 weeks. I got them on the first week so anyone that's hesitating trust me. Amazon is what you need. I personally love it.

I was in need of a couch and found it on Wayfair for a reasonable price. I am usually skeptical about making a large purchase online because you don't get to see the product. I took a chance and gave it a try since I wasn't having any luck in regular retail stores. I was scheduled for a delivery early in the morning and the delivery guy calls me informing me that he was about 15-20 minutes away, 2 hours and 1/2 later he never showed up. Wayfair called me to reschedule because "the driver's truck broke down". I lost a whole day waiting around. Second attempt the delivery guys arrived early and got the couch in the main lobby of my building but said it didn't fit in the elevator. They suggested me to order a smaller one because they refused to take it up the stairs in the building. I was furious and called Wayfair and they schedule another delivery. I lost another day of work/pay and yet no couch.
I really wanted the couch and hoped the third attempt was my luck. Boy was I wrong! The third delivery, was even worse since the incompetent delivery men refused to adjust the couch to get it past the main door to the main lobby! I told them the way the couch was situated was the obvious reason it was not gonna fit and to adjust it since the other delivery guys made it in the lobby why they couldn't? They already knew they had to go up a flight of stairs so made it seem impossible to fit through the door to avoid the flight of stairs. The guy told me that he was going to take pictures and send it to his manager to show her that the couch was "impossible" to deliver.
I asked him to speak to his manager and he refused to assist me with the number. Then he calls her and I hear him telling her that I was complaining about how the couch was package and was refusing it! They had made holes in the plastic that the couch was wrapped in. I had to scream over him so she can hear me that I wanted to speak to her. I told her that neither of the first or second delivery guys showed any effort, all they did was complain in front of me but never showed me effort in trying to the couch to my apartment. I declared that they were incompetent and lazy and to keep the couch because I was done with all the hustle and high blood pressure. What a disappointment and headache! Guys think it twice before ordering from Wayfair.

I had great experiences with ordering from Wayfair. I furnished my entire condo in Florida from this company... coffee tables, end tables for the living room and bedrooms, lamps, floor lamps, dressers, TV stand, a contemporary bar rack with storage for wine glasses, a sleeper sofa, etc... they have everything you need and it's free shipping. The quality of furniture is great. I had no problems with any of the pieces that were shipped. They left them at the condo door as I had instructed. I've ordered things for my primary home and love everything. I will be furnishing another condo in Florida soon and I will use Wayfair for all my needs again.

Ordered a bedroom set on May 21st. Originally it was set to be delivered on 6/2. We then received an email that it was now pushed to 7/7. This was not a custom order. There is no reason it should take 7 weeks to get us a basic bedroom set. We then tried to order just a bed after we got the bedroom furniture elsewhere and the estimated delivery was over 4+ weeks. The only reason we added an extra star was because they made it easy to cancel the order.

I bought this piece of furniture (5-piece Gray Wicker Sectional) a year ago. Over the winter everything was kept in the garage. All the cushions were kept in black garbage, liners also in the garage. When I opened up the bags to take everything out for the season the cushions were destroyed. I don't know why or how but the quality must be horrible. The covers are in perfect condition but the foam inside is destroyed. It is all falling apart and unusable.

It took a month for them to deliver an over-sized leather chair and a leather ottoman. It smelled horribly of toxic chemicals and caused wheezing in two family members. We shipped it back but they charged us $200 for return shipping and told us to re-box it ourselves or the carrier wouldn't pick it up. It cost $100 in boxing supplies to box up such large items!!! Now we are out $300 and have no furniture.
But that's not all! The shipping company combined the ottoman and the chair into one shipment and Wayfair then said we only returned the chair and not the ottoman. They refuse to refund the $300 for the leather ottoman. The total we lost in this deal? $600!!! Not only that, but they refuse to send back the ottoman that we legally paid for and returned. If you refuse to refund the money and refuse to send us the ottoman back, that is technically THEFT! NEVER NEVER NEVER again will I deal with Wayfair!

When I received a few items that I felt were not up to the regular quality that Wayfair offers, customer service was immediately gracious and accommodating (table, side night stands). I will continue to purchase from Wayfair!!!

I had been eagerly awaiting the arrival of a beautiful white buffet that I had ordered from Wayfair in April. I was disappointed that it was going to take 3-4 weeks to receive it but it was so beautiful I thought it would be worth the wait. Well a month went by and no buffet, checked the status of my order and it said it had shipped April 26th. So any day now right, nope. I spend a total of 2 hours on the phone with Wayfair talking to 3 different people who all gave me different stories. At one point I was told my item was at the San Diego warehouse and they would be contacting me shortly to schedule delivery.
Great! But that never happened. Called back my 3rd and final time to be told it actually never left the warehouse in Georgia. Are you kidding me? I am so incredibly disappointed. I had them cancel my order. I can't trust that I would get my item. They either flat out lied or they are extremely incompetent. Either way not a company I will be doing business with anymore. Just hoping they credit my bank account back asap so I can go buy what I've been waiting a month for now.

We ordered a sleeper sofa on April 30, 2017 and it showed it as shipped May 1 with an estimated delivery window of May 11-16. We need it for my parents who are visiting Memorial Day weekend. By May 16th the tracking was updated to "unavailable at this time". On May 21st I called customer service to find out the issue. I was told that they can't find the sofa or contact information for the warehouse where it was delivered. It is now May 24th and I have absolutely zero information on where my couch is, when or if I will ever receive it and stuck paying for an item I have not received. No one can tell me what is going on and it honestly feels like I have been scammed.
I have reached out to the delivery specialist who was initially assisting me and requested a discount and the delivery/assembly fee refunded. I have not heard anything back. And now it looks like my parents will have to stay at a hotel. By the time I figured out that this was going to take over a month (?!) to receive, it was too late to purchase another sofa to have it delivered in time (with assembly). I am beyond frustrated and will never purchase anything from Wayfair again. I am completely disgusted with this company!

In the past when I ordered from Wayfair and had to contact customer service via email, chat OR calling in, it was great experience. I prefer email because it suits my busy schedule well. Now my email (make that emails) has gone unanswered and when I call in or try to get on chat I'm behind a bunch of other people who didn't get answers via email as well. What happened to the email department?!

I mistakenly did not measure the Chelsea Ivory/Red Area Rug by Safavieh first. So this area rug did not fit in the area I bought it for, but it is so lovely that I found another area for it. Before buying it, I read most of the Comments and the person who wrote "... it makes me smile" is the one who convinced me to buy it, coz it is pretty and "cheery." Some Commenters said it sheds, but I have not found that to be true. I do wish I could find the same rug in the size of my foyer.

Ordered barstool chairs for my retail store and the money was deducted from my account on date of order. Two weeks later, called to inquire about a shipping/tracking number and was told they had no tracking currently. Thank god I ordered with PayPal, so I opened a case with PayPal and was emailed the next day from Wayfair stating "Please close your claim, as your chairs are here in the warehouse just waiting to be shipped." Anyone that uses PayPal knows, DO NOT close your claim until your item arrives. I called PayPal to make sure they (Wayfair) still had my money and they stated yes. They also advised "Do not close your case or you have no protection. They are to ship your chairs or we will refund you within 14 days." Got my refund a couple days ago and I will tell all my fellow business owners and online communities that this business is NOT worth the risk. VERY shady. Not a reputable company - buyer beware!

This order became complicated because it was delayed. Then, one item arrived at the freight company, but the other item was not there. The problems with this order went on for an extended period of time. I was frustrated! I called multiple times and spoke to different representatives to no avail. Then, I got Ruth **. My personal "Shepard". She took me and my order under her wing and emailed me updates every day until the order arrived, both items together. Go Ruth! Great job!!!

I have been waiting for an out of stock for over 1 1/2 years. On May 3rd I received an email from Wayfair that the piece was finally in so I immediately ordered it with an associate on the phone who took my order. Shortly after I received a confirmation of order and anticipated delivery time. This morning I again received an email saying my order was shipped to shipper with an anticipated delivery date. A few hours later I received an email apologizing that the piece was discontinued and I would not be receiving it. They have to be kidding me. I spoke with a supervisor Lisa, very polite but could nothing for me. I explained that I had already gotten rid of the TV stand that this would be replacing based on the emails and estimated delivery I received from Wayfair. Nothing can be done with getting me the piece and now my TV and other electronics are sitting on my living room floor until I find another piece.
Hey Wayfair people, I waited 1 1/2 years for you to get this piece in, I was willing to wait. How long do you think it's going to take me to find another that we liked this much. Get your act together people, you won't be seeing me ordering from you again. I assure you and I warn others to be aware when counting on receiving an order until it's at your door.

Recently I been refurbishing my home and pretty much all the furniture was bought from Wayfair. From beds arriving and the mattresses getting a hold in the warehouse by the company Wayfair hired to do the delivery (UPS) without providing me an explanation or even contacting me, I ended up sleeping 5 days on the floor with my wife and kids since the delivery was due on a Thursday close to a bank holiday. The mattresses were then delivered on the following Tuesday. Chest of drawers and bedside table for the guest bedroom arrived with dents on the back part of them but because was against the wall me and my wife didn't raise any concerned about it.
We bought a 3 seater that came from Poland and waited almost 2 months for the sofa just to arrive at our property with holes and cuts on the material. Bought a coat hanger and a 3-panel fireplace guard, the fireplace guard never came and instead received a duplicate of the coat hanger but in a different color. Also bought a 3-panel room divider, took the day off work to receive and never arrived on the date it was provided wasting time and money. Lost count of how many time the website says delivery on Friday the 18 and before I get to work I receive around 9 o'clock 3 text message saying the items will be delivered on Thursday the 17...
This is just a few example of my negative experience in a period of 2 months with Wayfair. Overall the customer support is nice people, the manager Morgen and Richard also try to sort things out but after you hang up the call nothing changes and no one pay for the time or money you lose by staying at home waiting for an item that doesn't arrive. This post is based on my experience with Wayfair from the 12 of April 2017 to date (19/05/2017) since I'm still waiting for a few items to be delivered.

We ordered a couch that folded flat into a bed with storage underneath. We had a similar for years & never found this style again until Wayfair. When we received it, the material was so cheap. It was like plastic, when it folded down it had no seam so did not lay flat and it had piping seams attached on top of faux material that it did not show & you felt on your legs when sitting. Scott ** solved our return immediately. We re-boxed in same packing, it was picked up next day and we were issued our credit less $50 return fee within a day. Scott was great! Family members have all bought from Wayfair with good experiences and Scott made us a believer!

Awful first time experience. Placed an order for a gift card for my best friend's daughter then received a note 4 days later that Wayfair cancelled the card; I'm totally embarrassed. Called to understand why. Spoke with a customer service rep who couldn't explain it then asked for a manager (Alicia **) who was extremely rude. She literally read me their terms and conditions and company policy then hung up on me. Well needless to say, it destroyed the image I had of Wayfair and confirmed that under no circumstance will I visit their site again. All the best new customers but I haven't experienced bad customer service like this in years.

I choose Wayfair for the quality and uniqueness of the items. Plus, I have a credit established with them, so if they have something, I will usually look on their site. With the last purchase that I made, I knew the quality of the bed I was getting wasn’t very good, but I wasn’t looking to spend a lot of money, so I didn’t care too much about that. However, it was misadvertised, so I was a little disappointed. The picture showed a backboard on it, but that didn’t exist. When I scrolled down and read the reviews, I realized there were other people who were upset too. I called Wayfair and they said I could send it back, but at that time, everything was already out of the boxes and the pieces have been put together. On the other hand, I also bought recliner chairs and they’re beautiful. Some of the things are good, so we're able to fill our furniture needs. Overall, I got a good deal and I’m happy with the products that I got.

Wow, I don't know where to begin. We had 2 horrible experiences with this company. We ordered a bedroom set and a patio sectional on separate occasions. Every piece of furniture arrived damaged (a total of 5 pieces). We upgraded delivery service from room of choice to white glove service and it took them over a week to update their records, which took about 12 calls, 6 emails and the delivery guys still arrived with the wrong delivery status. This was after we delayed delivery to assure white glove service. There is a huge disconnect with Wayfair and their delivery company Mountain Man and both point fingers at the other.
We ended up keeping the sectional for a discount, but returned the bedroom furniture as they were so badly damaged on every corner that I wouldn't have kept them if they were free. Never doing business with this company again. $3000 later one of the worst furniture buying experiences ever. How these guys are still in business is a miracle. You can save yourself a lot of trouble by buying from an actual furniture store.

I ordered nightstands and within minutes of my order (literally less than 5 minutes), I realized they would be too small and tried to cancel. They sent me a message saying my order had already shipped and they couldn't cancel it. Meanwhile, two days later, I get another email saying that my order actually shipped and was on the way to me. So basically, when they told me I couldn't cancel because my order shipped, that wasn't true... they just wouldn't let me cancel. I'm not even sure why they have a "cancel order" button, because clearly, they have no intention of ever letting you cancel an order.
I looked into returning them once they are delivered and they told me it would cost me over $20 in shipping to send it back. So I get to lose out on $20 for nightstands I don't want and tried to cancel immediately after ordering. I was planning on ordering new nightstands from Wayfair if my cancellation went through but I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere!!

There is a glitch in their system (a Wayfair employee acknowledged this 'glitch') that causes inaccurate pricing. When I made an online purchase CAD prices were shown online; however, my credit card was charged in USD resulting in almost $1000 difference for this one order. When raised to their customer advocacy group they did not resolve, nor did they acknowledge the technical issue. As a consumer this is deeply concerning and this needs to be fixed so future purchases can be made based on accurate pricing information. $1000 is a lot of money to a consumer and significantly impacts purchasing decisions.
I am not impressed with the customer service, they made me feel like I did something wrong and worse they didn't acknowledge the issue to fix it. I expected to pay the amount shown at the time of purchase and was shocked to find I got charged exchange when the prices showing were in CAD funds. The US facing and CAD facing sites are linked and my cart items get transferred between the two. It is not my job as a consumer to distinguish where I am on their site but I feel it is their job to honour pricing they list. I hope this gets fixed.

We ordered a hot tub on 4/12. Super easy! Received information saying it would be in processing for up to 10 days and would ship in 1-4 weeks. Received an email 4/29 saying it shipped with a tracking # that did not work. Called, chatted and emailed with no success on possible delivery. Received a phone call on 5/9, saying they were in my driveway, which was supposed to be scheduled delivery?

I started buying from Wayfair in 2015. Loved it. The prices were good. Shipping was usually included and I was impressed with the quality of what I received. I own a small business and wanted a few of one item so that I could sell them to increase what I had available and Wayfair was great, set me up with a business account and everything in 2016. They had great customer service. And then, the prices got higher, and higher so that what they consider their wholesale prices are higher than what I can buy the same item for retail, or at the very least equal to the price.
I called my account manager who is suppose to be there for everything for a business account and never got a call back, so I tried again. Finally on April 6, I sent him an email which he has never responded to. It’s May 9th so I guess their customer service has also gone away. Very disappointed, that it’s is no longer a place where I can afford to shop.

I found a table I wanted to purchase that I had been tracking for a month - finally Wayfair showed a sales price of $3900 - a great price. It was out of stock and the website (instead of allowing you to purchase) requires you to request an email to advise you when the item is back in stock. So I did that. A few days later they sent me an email saying it was back in stock. I immediately went back online to buy but now the price was $1000 higher!
Called customer service and they said there was nothing they could do. Bogus. I could of bought elsewhere for a better price the day it went on sale at Wayfair but they had a price about $400 cheaper so I waited. Now everyone has gone up to Wayfair's new higher price. I feel as if Wayfair ran out and then purposefully set a lower price to make sure they wouldn't lose sales to other sites and then raised retails as soon as it was back in stock. Of course all these sites scrape each other so they followed the retails of Wayfair.

I ordered a beautiful couch on March 19th and still haven't received delivery of my couch. I finally received a call to have it delivered, set up a date for delivery, and received a phone call the morning delivery was expected that the delivery truck had been in an accident and would be unable to deliver. I was told they'd call me back to reschedule and now 4 days later, I've still not received a callback about delivery now almost 2 months after my original order. VERY DISAPPOINTED!! Considering cancelling my order.

I ordered a bed and dresser through White Glove Service. They came on delivery day on time. However, the delivery guys only had a fraction of the bedframe with them so they couldn't set up the bed and they were unable to find my dresser even though I had received confirmation that both were being delivered. I called Wayfair and they confirmed they ordered all the replacement pieces. I slept on the floor for almost 2 weeks while it took them to reorder because they said they couldn't place a rush on shipping. They dumped the replacement bed parts at the front of my building when I was at work (I live in the city). When I had paid for White Glove Delivery and I had to carry the heavy bedframe by myself. They then took a few days for someone to come set up the bed. The guy they sent to assemble the bed was 2 hours late arriving and didn't leave my place until 8:30 pm on a Friday night when I had company over.
Also, a week after original delivery I hadn't received notification that the dresser was reordered. I contacted Wayfair and the woman that was on my account told me that she forgot to reorder the dresser because she went on vacation. It's now 5 weeks after the original delivery was supposed to occur and I still don't have a dresser and all my clothes are scattered on the floor. Wayfair can't give me a timeline of when it will be delivered. They have given me a slight discount on the furniture for my "inconvenience" but it was not even close to covering the hassle that I've had to put up with. I wouldn't recommend ordering anything from them.

I've been shopping online for over 20 years and I love the variety Wayfair offers. It’s almost dangerous, but in a good way. Also, their free shipping and the ease of shopping is a plus. It's about finding what I want and need for my house. If it's on sale, great. I love that, but I buy because I need it and not because it’s on sale. I've gotten quite a number of things from them, including photo albums, living room and family room chairs and a coffee table that everyone compliments me on.
Last January 2016, I was expecting an end table and it happened to be when we were hit with a snow blizzard and had over 20 inches of snow. My house was only about two or three months old then, so GPS takes people past it. My package was delivered to a neighbor who has the same numbered house but on a very different street that doesn't even sound like my street name. She called Wayfair and they let me know that the package has been delivered to the neighborhood and that the person who received it was willing to bring it to my house once we could get out of our respective homes. That's exactly what happened, but had Wayfair not made the connection, who knows what would have happened. That was a very positive thing and I've recommended them to a number of people.

I purchased (paid for) a product in April 2017. I finally canceled my order today (May 8) and expect a full refund. Wayfair.com does not have the product but took my money and strung me along for months, telling me all the while that it's just a delay and that it would ship soon. After missing 5 consecutive shipping dates as promised by their staff, I canceled. This disaster has set me back in multiple ways. I won't ever buy anything from Wayfair.com again. Most of their and even tried to help, but a business model that allows for this sort of thing is absurd and they should fire their inventory manager. Even if this was the manufacturer's fault, why is Wayfair listing products the mfg can't provide? I looked today and Wayfair.com says they have 5 of this same product IN STOCK. That's a flat out lie. They want you to pay for it, then hope you don't get pissed like me and cancel.

I ordered 2 of the Lillian White Headboard & Footboard Beds. Nowhere was it noted that you had to order special rails, slats for these beds to be put together. So after receiving, I called Wayfair and spoke to a gentlemen who said he would place my order. I received them and they were the wrong size. So once again, I contacted Wayfair. This time I "chatted" with Lalani **. She was amazing at making sure I got the right rails/slats for these beds. She even made sure they were the right size and color. Lalani ** is the perfect example of excellent customer service. I can't thank her enough for going out of her way to check the warehouse, to ask questions, and to follow up on my delivery!! I ordered $1600 worth of tiling from Wayfair on the 10th of April. It was scheduled to be delivered by the end of April. When I called on May 4th to inquire into where in the world my package was, I was informed that they lost my package. How in the world do you lose $1600 worth of tiling?!? When I asked them to give me the tracking number, I was then told that the tracking number on the package was incorrect. I AM PISSED!!! I'm still waiting for a resolution.

I got in with Wayfair about six years ago. I ran across this company on the internet because I had been buying off the internet for some time. Buying off the internet is good for me instead of going outside with those crazy crowds. I can't say enough good words about Wayfair. Their site is the most wonderful thing that I've ever came across on the internet.
Ever since I found Wayfair, I have used them. I have ordered from them several times. I buy from them at Christmas all the time and I get my grandchildren’s toys from there. I even ordered my grandson a desk and a chair that are so fantastic. On the open market, these would've cost me a couple of $1,000. I’ve had other things from Wayfair, too, like some bedspreads and other stuff for the bedroom.
I'm very selective about the stuff that I buy from Wayfair, and I only get good quality stuff. When I’m ordering online, I'm very particular and the items that I order have got to be neat and attractive, and catch my attention. I'm used to good stuff. My mother had an eye for very good quality stuff. I also like good quality, and if I want something, I'm going to save money for it and wait until I see what I want. My daughter-in-law also buys from Wayfair and she has fantastic taste, too. She’s an interior decorator and her grandfather owns half of Lafayette, Louisiana, so she’s used to good stuff and the good life. So, I was not surprised when she told me that she also buys from Wayfair.
Wayfair’s furniture is wonderful. I can talk about the furniture that Wayfair is selling more than I can anything because that's what I buy from them. Their products might be a little expensive, but I'm glad to pay because they offer half the price of what the furniture costs locally. I shop from Wayfair for furniture because they carry good, brand-name stuff, and I'm familiar with brand-name stuff. They have very first grade plus furniture.
Wayfair carries top brands like Ashley furniture that I’ve got in my house. When Wayfair put an Ashley buffet on sale, I got it for half the price, and that was fantastic. I had to wait a month for the delivery of my purchase, but I didn't mind waiting. The local furniture store here had the same buffet, but they wanted $1,500 for it. Ashley is a leading furniture company in the United States, and they can be selling a piece of furniture for $1,200, but the little company that's selling it is going to tack on $400 more. I got a huge, round oak table from the local furniture store that cost me more than twice what I paid for that buffet because we're in a small town with only 7,700 people, and they can charge what they want. But they’ll do that without me from now on because I’ve now got Wayfair to shop with.
I wish Wayfair was closer to me, but they’re not, and so whenever buy an item from them, I’m going to have to wait about a month to get it. But that’s fine with me and gives me something to look forward to. They have called me before to ask about the shipping, and I told them to ship my purchase to my residence. It takes from four to six weeks for their stuff to get to me because they’re on the West Coast, and so I just sit back and wait for my purchase.
Wayfair has been very helpful and good with the information that I was asking when I was ordering online from them. I asked a lot of questions and got good answers. If I didn’t, then I wouldn’t place an order with them. I’ve spoken with several of their managers in buying different pieces of furniture from them, and I asked to speak with somebody that could help me make a decision on what I was contemplating on purchasing. When I first looked at the buffet, it seemed to be so familiar and I liked it. I kept going back to the internet and looking at it. I told the Wayfair rep, “I’ve got an advertisement of this buffet in the email. May I speak with a manager that can tell me something about it?”
When I bought the buffet and it got here, it perfectly matched my breakfast room furniture. I had already bought from the local store the Ashley breakfast table and chairs to go into my new house, and the buffet that I got from Wayfair turned out to also be from Ashley. It took three men to bring the buffet into my house, and that shows that it’s heavy-duty furniture, and not like some flimsy thing that you get at Walmart. I had looked for three or four years before I ever got a buffet to match my breakfast room because the Rush furniture store here in Oakdale only carries some pieces of Ashley furniture and not a whole room of furniture.
Before my furniture purchase leaves the store, I ask if there’s any part of it that needs to be put together. I might have to pay $50 extra for them to bring it into my house and put it together. Wayfair offers that service, and I’m willing to pay for it, because my husband’s dead and I have nobody here to help me out. When I was still working, I had to take off from work to get some carpenter here in town to put the item together. But this way, the truck drivers put the item together for me because they have been paid for that, and I have my receipt and they have theirs.
Wayfair is a lovely company and I love them. They’re wonderful and really good, and I have very good vibes about them. I am very happy that I found Wayfair. I will continue buying from them because the quality of their goods is so fantastic. In fact, I just got a brochure from them last week about some stuff that they have on sale.

I am so disappointed in Wayfair and the delivery service team. We paid "white glove" delivery but the delivery guy lied to me when I asked him about the rails and slats. I mention to him that the bed needs to have the rails and slats right? He said no, all I needed is to purchase the box spring then put the mattress on. But later my husband told me that there should be slats/rails to support the mattress. I cannot believed I was lied to. I called him back (the delivery guy) and he said he will call me back and he never did. Before the incident, I even tipped each of them $15 for each man (total $30) for their service. But then later found out that I was being lied and that the bed is not even finished.
As for the Wayfair agent that handled this case, she told me that she will contact me back no later than Friday, May 5 but she never did. I even wrote her an email and she never response back. This is the most horrible experience. Now, my son can't even sleep on the bed. He is sleeping on the floor because we just moved into the new house and the bed we did purchased has no rails/slats so he cannot sleep on it. He is sleeping on the mattress that was put on the floor. This is ridiculous that the agent that I spoke to on the phone said she will contact me no later than Friday, May 5th after they do a dock search at the local delivery place but she never contact me whatsoever. I spend more than 3 grands on this customized bed. See attachments of how the "white glove" delivery put my bed together and it has been a long week and no one contact me at all.

I initially chose Wayfair for the price. I used the app when ordering. It popped up, I opened it and used it. I was able to get all the information in, like my name and address, and then it was recorded for good. It's a lot easier to always cross-reference everything within Wayfair and equally better than I would go there. There was a couple of times that I interacted with their reps and it has always been good service. In general, it was very positive.

I found Wayfair's website when we were shopping for a couch. We had looked in a lot a lot of different places and we liked what they had so I ordered it. Ordering was easy. Also, the cost was in line with what we were looking to spend. The order took a couple of weeks to get here but that was to be expected because it was two couches, a couch and a loveseat. We bought a bed from them too. I have bought a couple more things from them and for the most part, they're excellent. I got a coffee table from them that was damaged. I called them about it and they said, “No problem, we'll send you a new one.” I bought an umbrella for the patio and it was also broken. Again, they said, “No problem, we'll send you a new one.” They were back here in two days so I'm very happy with their customer service. It's been a very good experience for everything that we’ve ordered and we've been very pleased.

I placed an order for 2 sets of curtains then decided to go with something else. I tried to cancel the order seriously 5 minutes after placing the order. Wayfair sent me an email the next day saying they were unable to cancel the order. I called customer service and they were unable to help even though the items had not yet shipped. Apparently they have no way to communicate with their own warehouses. Very frustrating. I ended up having to pay $15 to return items that I did not want.

I like Wayfair products and know that I can depend on good quality merchandise. The same is true for customer service. I recently ordered and received a white faux wicker armchair. It is comfortable, sturdy and exceptional quality for the price. I really got a true bargain.

Wayfair was pretty good but it seems like in some items, it was hard to find a set if you wanted to buy one. You could go out to Joss & Main, which is one of their other stores and you could get the set that you can't find on Wayfair. But I get the emails that all say 70% off and I use those. I also have the Wayfair card and I've received some discounts using that. Although one time, I had a problem with customer service. I thought that I was going to have a discount on a product that I purchased and that it was going to be on an extended time frame.
I was under a couple of dollars and I asked them if they could possibly do something for me but they said no. I was very unhappy with that. Then, they said they would give me a 10% discount on my next purchase but I'd already spent this money and I had to pay it off. Also, I was never able to take advantage of that offer and I wasn't real pleased with that. I also found descriptions of items that were inaccurate. I notified them about it and I wish they make sure that their descriptions are absolutely accurate. But it's fairly easy to find the items you're looking for.

I recently ordered a console table. Very decent priced however they sent the wrong item. I called customer service. A lady named Robin answered my call. I told her I received the wrong item. She first told me I have to hold on to this item for two weeks till the vendor contacts me. I explained to her I live in a studio apartment in new york city. Having a big box front of my bed is really inconvenience for me.
Then she went ahead, gave me another option that UPS will pick up the package but they can't give me the time of pick up. Again I explained to her I have a full time job and I am 8 months pregnant. It's impossible for me to carry the item from my room to the front of my door. I didn't have help and I am only home till 3 pm since I work in the evening.
Then she went ahead questioned me aren't I married?? That's none of her Business. Questioning don't I have friends, family. Very rude. She has no right to question a persons circumstances. Customers services agent kept saying, "You can't get free things". I was never asking for free item. I want the item I ordered and didn't want extra hassles. Also didn't want to be stuck with a big box and having to carry it to the door every day hoping UPS will pick up that day. I can't leave it front of my door overnight. It's not safe. I live in a apartment building.
She continued to argue with me. No apology! Wayfair sent me an email today from another agent saying UPS will pick up the item but I have to have boxed correctly etc... Again no apology. Nothing mentioned. Wayfair made the mistake. Why as customer I have to do their work and get questioned about my personal life. This is the worst service I have received. I will never ever order anything from this site again!

We have ordered three times from Wayfair, with our last being the best. We ordered a couch that was exactly what we wanted at a good price. We forgot to request that it be delivered to a designated room. So, the day prior to delivery, we requested the service. On the day of delivery, the truck delivery people had no record of the request, but were gracious completing the delivery to the designated room without charge. Repeated positive experiences.

I am from STILL sitting here after my 4-hour window waiting for my couch delivery. So I called them to see if they were able to get in touch with the delivery drivers and they said their system is down and cannot track anything. What kind of company doesn't have a direct access to their delivery men in the event that something like this occurs. Cameo (the customer service agent) was completely helpless, and couldn't offer me any sort of assistance on what to do. The delivery men are supposed to call a half hour before arrival and I also never received that call. This company is a huge waste of my time. Order from a company that is established, timely, and professional, it will save you a day of missed work and stress.

I like Wayfair products. My sister-in-law has sent me a link for an area rug. Were getting ready to move and so, I'm planning my things that I'm gonna have there. And based on that link, I shopped other items on there and found the rug I liked. But when I had ordered quite some time ago, I got hacked because suddenly my charge card went to Venezuela or some such port but I was at work that day. But other than that I have purchased a couple of chairs that I absolutely love. And I've got a new rug that should be here on Wednesday. So I like Wayfair.

Originally placed order March 21st and vanity and countertop was delivered March 31st. Unfortunately, one of the sinks was broken, the marble backsplash was broken in two and the marble countertop was broken and cracked in numerous places. Clearly one end of the vanity had been dropped and dropped hard. Contacted Wayfair that evening but because they were closed, we didn't hear back until the following Monday. Replacement vanity ordered April 3rd. That was delivered on April 17th with the marble countertop broken. 3rd vanity ordered and delivered May 1st. Much to our relief, it wasn't broken. Every time I contacted Wayfair I had been assigned a new account manager which was frustrating. Also the final vanity was supposed to be double-wrapped because they've had issues but it wasn't wrapped any differently than the first two.
So 6 weeks later and 3 days with time off of work to be home for delivery, we finally received the vanity we expected. No compensation for our inconvenience. Accidents happen but seriously, 2 times in a row and then you admit you've had shipping issues? Lucky for them it is a beautiful vanity and countertop when it isn't damaged.

I ordered a couch and loveseat which was originally scheduled to be delivered between 3/24/2017 and 3/28/2017. Neither item showed up so I called Wayfair 4 or 5 times to get a status updated on the delivery. Everyone I spoke with told me they would contact the warehouse for an updated and call me back in 24 hours. No one ever returned my call, I always had to call back. This went on for 3 weeks until they finally admitted they lost the couch and loveseat (not sure how you lose big items!). I then had to reorder them and the couch showed up in a mangled box. The top of the box was completely torn off and the cushions had fallen out (they were in the delivery truck where they had fallen out, but not how you like to see items delivered). Long story short - terrible customer service since they can't return phone calls and the couch and loveseat had to be reordered and showed up a month later.

I purchased a sofa and loveseat. A few days after delivery I noticed a cosmetic defect in the sofa. I notified Wayfair and was met with excellent customer service. They offered me money off the original sofa or a complete replacement with in-home delivery at no cost to me. I decided on the complete replacement and am eagerly waiting on its delivery. Thank you Wayfair for making my experience a good one.

I ordered the dining set as they stated it was the lowest price. After checking around I found it on 3 other websites for at least 100 dollars less and free shipping. When I went to return it, they said I have to pay for the shipping >100.00 dollars and did not even try to compensate me for the price gouging. Shame on them for lying to the customers. Never will I shop there. I look for honest retailers.

I'm very happy with the furniture itself, both the quality of the product and it arrived assembled except for having to put the cushion covers on. My complaint is the order was missing two armless chairs which took several more weeks to receive. Also, when the missing pieces were delivered the delivery company never called or rang the bell or knocked. Luckily I was home and heard the truck outside.

We recently ordered a table and chairs (Isabell nine piece farmhouse table and chairs) from Wayfair. When it came, it had marks in the wood. There are multiple marks on the table and all of the chairs. It doesn't affect the function so we chose to keep the set instead of trying to replace it with another one. The marks appear to have occurred in manufacturing as they had stained over them. Wayfair gave us a discount on the price $269.87 (we paid 1,198.48 including warranty). I think that was fair but now I keep looking at the marks and I'm so disappointed. I know it is not the fault of Wayfair but I rarely buy new furniture and obviously the quality control dept of the producer of this furniture is very poor. I was very happy with the Wayfair Customer Service Department as they were prompt and responsive to our needs. I simply didn't anticipate the constant frustration of seeing the scars in the wood every day.

I ordered a gift for my mom for Mother's Day, resulting in a different billing and shipping address. The order was consequently flagged as fraudulent. When I called and spoke with a representative as requested and confirmed all information, I thought everything was fine. I then received the following curt email: "I am following up with you on behalf of Amberlee. While you are welcome to place a new order with us at any time, please note that you will need to ship it to the billing address that your credit card company has on file for you. Thank you for shopping with Wayfair.com."
No further explanation. I called, wondering why my initial communication wasn't sufficient. Representative Bob told me he couldn't give me any specifics but that the fraud department had flagged it and therefore the billing and shipping address (in 2 different states, please note), must match. I informed him I don't think this is a good business practice that you cannot at least tell a person why the order is flagged fraudulent so they can attempt to explain or correct information. I also informed him I will be using Amazon instead as I've never had this issue despite using the same credit card and shipping to multiple different addresses. This was my first time with the site and I really thought it seemed to be a good deal; however I suppose you get what you pay for - cheap prices = low tech company. I will not be returning.

Wayfair has the best customer service that I have ever had to deal with! Whether online, through chat or on the phone. I have never dealt with a poor agent. They are always accommodating and willing to do what is needed. I have had issues with items that are of not their doing. They will go above and beyond what you would ever expect. Besides all the wonder items and the pricing. Wayfair's customer service will always bring me back!

The Athena rain barrels are beautiful. Amazingly lightweight when empty, so easy to set up. But when spending over $300 for two rain barrels they should not leak. One of the spigots had a tiny stream of water spraying out after our first rain. Fortunately some silicone solved the problem so we didn't have to deal with sending the giant barrel back.

I was looking for an online furniture experience and went with Wayfair. The cost of their products is pretty good and they have a larger selection than some retailers. Their strength is that they are very good about holding their ship date. And the ordering process itself is very good. I was just back on their site again this morning. I hadn't been on there in a while because I've finished the last couple of projects I was doing with them. I don't know if they changed something but I was having a little more trouble finding what I wanted, having the search words clued the way I thought they would. But that could be me. Overall, they offer me a lot of filters so that I could narrow my search.
Also, I have actually spoken to a customer service person a couple of times, but most of the time, my concerns are handled through online chatting which is great because I can do that at 3:00 in the morning when I'm wide awake for no reason. The reps have been very cooperative, smooth and courteous. The first time I had to call them, I had a mirror that arrived broken and they handled that very easily. The second time, I had an item that didn't seem at all the quality that's described on the website and they also handled that very well. Everything was very smooth.
And when I ordered a piece of enamelware cookware, it came with the lid that was dented and chipped. So I said, "I'll donate the bottom half to goodwill but order me another one," which they did but that one also arrived chipped and dented. So I wrote them a nastygram saying, "Don't do this. This is stupid on your part and tough on the consumer. Don't just keep shipping things that are gonna arrive broken every time 'cause the packaging is inadequate.” But their reply was relatively pleasant.
I have several friends that said that they could never shop for furniture online but it's a combination of ground proofing yourself, getting out and looking around other few things so that you can make sense of the fact that you cannot touch the fabric, the wood finish, or see the exact color. Wayfair does a pretty good job with their color, but computer monitors are tricky. One has to be willing to judge their intuition to have a good shopping experience with Wayfair.

I have always been happy with everything I get through Wayfair. But until recently I have never had contact with their customer service. I had a problem with an order, so I thought, as it turned out it was my fault and I ended up with two order of a product I did not want. Wayfair was very friendly and no problem. They paid return shipping on both products, even though it was my fault. They did not make me feel guilty or bad. Nothing but friendly. I recommend Wayfair to everyone I know. Thank you Wayfair.

I ordered an 8x10 rug that was due to arrive at my house between April 1-4, 2017. I ordered this rug to have it in time for Easter weekend and it never came. I inquired about it with Wayfair and they said it was marked "lost". They asked me if I wanted a refund. I said, "NO! I want the rug!" Ordered 2 identical chests of drawers in mid March. Received the first of the 2 first week of April, front face damaged prior to shipping. Received the replacement piece this week, interior structure broken. Lowest drawer is inop. Second order lost in shipment. 3 more weeks until arrival... So much for completing my remodel of my bedroom in a timely manner... Other items I ordered arrived in a timely manner and in great shape.

I first ordered a recliner. It arrived promptly and was easy to setup. Then I ordered coffee and end tables, lamps, side table, another recliner, an area rug and a dining room set. All items were great quality, reasonably priced, shipped for free, arrived on time and were easy to put together. If the price had recently changed I called Wayfair and they immediately credited my account for the difference. With Wayfair's prices, quality and free shipping I won't shop anywhere else!

5 stars for your customer service reps, 1 star for delivering a damaged product - twice! The first time, the marble was damaged when the delivery people dropped it. The second time, there are two cracks that appear to have been there awhile; in fact, it looks like someone tried to repair them. Shame on Wayfair for delivering a defective product!! But I am to receive a refund and I appreciate that - I'm ordering another vanity and hope that the third time will be the charm.

We had originally ordered an outdoor patio set (table and 4 chairs) and when we received it, one of the chairs had damage to one of the legs. I contacted Wayfair and they immediately sent me an entire new set AND I didn't have to box up and return the original one; allowing me to donate it to a charity. This is the most unbelievable customer service I have ever experienced! I have purchased numerous products from Wayfair and will continue to do so based on the quality of the products and their excellent customer service.

I was very impressed by the service I received. Package arrived before the date that was indicated. Nothing was damaged and all parts were included. Instructions were very easy and I was able to put the bookcase together by myself. Be sure to assemble where you plan to place - much easier. I am extremely pleased with this ladder bookcase.

I am rating the experience 1 star due to the horrible experience with the Porch installation. The bunk bed was put together wrong, damaged and parts were left off that needed to be put on it. You offered the option for Porch to install so I am rating you based on this since I think it's your responsibility to ensure the third party services you offer are good services. You should fire Porch. I would love a refund on my installation costs but I'm sure you can't or won't do that. So now I have a bunk bed that cost almost $1k which is damaged and put together incorrectly. I am trying to figure out if the incorrect installation is a safety issue. I contacted Wayfair support and you told me to contact the manufacturer and gave me their contact information. I contacted the manufacturer and they are not responding so now I don't know if I have a bunk bed that is unsafe or not?
The bunk bed was damaged by the installer when he was putting it together. A big scratch right by the top step and he pushed at least one bolt through that popped out the other side. Overall a horrible experience and Porch did ask me to rate them and I did but they never contacted me about the bad experience. Porch subcontracts through done.com so I feel like I'm getting the bait and switch as this was NOT clear in any of the documentation. Porch is just a go between so it's misleading when it looks like Porch is actually the company doing the work. If I had known the installer was going to do such a horrible job I would have done it myself. It took him 8 HOURS to put together a bunk bed. I had to cancel an appointment because it was 4pm and the guy wasn't done yet.
I came home from work and immediately found a major issue where he put the slats on wrong. My kids' mattresses would have fallen on top of each other. How can I find this in just a few minutes and he didn't realize it? It was a common sense thing. It's still just unbelievable to me that someone could screw this up so bad... nobody wants a $1k bunk bed that is damaged and installed wrong. I will not be recommending Wayfair or Porch unless something is done about this. In fact I will actively be telling people to avoid. The ball is now in your court to do something about this Wayfair. I hope you come take my comments seriously. There were more issues with the installation but at this point you already understand the disaster that was the installation.

This bed is beautifully constructed and exactly as pictured on the website. Wilkes Panel Bed by Three Posts is a great value for the money. I purchased it for a renovated bedroom in a farmhouse over 100 years old and it looks like an original antique piece. I would recommend this bed to anyone looking for a quality product with wonderful styling!

This 3-piece table set is poor quality and I hate it. It was damaged and the pieces were replaced. Quality is bad. You give me a 10% off, and put a timeline on it. What good is that for me. I will never order anything made by this company again. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

I wanted barstools that were out of stock. I waited a couple of months till I received an email from Wayfair to let me know they were back in stock. I ordered them immediately and received them in three days!!! They are exactly what I wanted - upholstered, swivel, well constructed, easy to assemble and beautiful. The only issue I had is that I ordered the 25 inch barstool. When we measure it from the floor to the seat - it barely reaches 22 inches. We decided this issue worked for us - we don't have to bend over when we eat. We love them and the ease of ordering and how quickly they were delivered and how easy they were to assemble and the quality of our merchandise.

I purchased two arm chairs that were pictured as pure white on the website but arrived to my house and they were cream... unfortunately they didn't go w/ my decor and had to be returned... The customer service I received was impeccable. I was super satisfied... I'm ordering another two of another style when they arrive back into stock. Wayfair was outstanding. When delivery occurred it was a very rainy day. Would have appreciated it if the (deliverers) had put plastic around the 2 boxes to prevent damage. Considering they knew the contract was for them to leave the boxes at the front door. Two pieces got very wet and it took almost a week for them to dry out thoroughly.

The lamps arrived extremely well-packed, in 2 separate boxes with lots of foam packaging to protect them. They were exactly as described and as in the photo on the website, except that they were larger than I thought they would be. This was perfectly fine. These lamps are beautiful and make a statement in the room. Love them and loved the Wayfair experience.

I have ordered from Wayfair many times and have been extremely satisfied each and every time. Great quality, great service, great prices and free shipping. On one occasion there was an issue that was obviously a mix up on the shipper's part and after numerous attempts to rectify the problem with the shipper I contacted Wayfair. They immediately sent me another of the items that was lost and dealt with the shipper themselves. At a time when customer service is not always a priority with far too many companies all I can say is keep up the good work Wayfair!

I called because shipper said that I didn't pay extra for the truck lift for my Futura Spa, which I indeed did and they said they only delivered Mondays to my town so it could be a couple weeks. I was upset because it was already late. I called you guys and the young man I spoke with stayed on line with me, talked to a few folks and was also contacting shipper. He was very courteous and went out of his way to help me. I very much appreciate all he did. A big kudos to him. I wish I could remember his name. He did great and I want to thank him. I ordered and the product came quickly. The product was assembled by my spouse with no problems in directions. It is well made as the reviews stated. Ordering on website very easy. Area rug 8 X 10, multi colored arrived one day early and was in excellent condition. Spread out, few ripples or creases but all gone with in three days. Color was exactly what I had hope for and there was only a faint smell, gone overnight. I am very content with my purchase and have had several compliments on it. Would deal again without hesitation.

Every order I have placed with Wayfair has been delivered in good condition and the free delivery is a big savings and that is the main reason I shop at Wayfair. The other reason is the variety of merchandise available.

Ordered a few things but the couch I got it's not what I expected. Is super hard, not comfortable at all. When I read the description it didn't say it was really hard to sit on, it's like I'm sitting on the floor. Wanted to return it and you want to charge me about $60 dollars to send it back. Not a good company to do business with specially when you don't describe the product. Will never buy from you ever again.

Wonderful shopping experience. I have practically redone my entire house with purchases from Wayfair. There were only 2 things I had to return and this was easily accomplished. Service has been great. Quality has been great.

I ordered the jute rug. Better than I had hoped. I am so impressed with how it looks and feels. Well worth the purchase price. Wayfair customer service is excellent. I had a hiccup when I placed my order and they were fantastic getting it worked out. I would not hesitate to order from Wayfair. Very pleased in every way.

The customer service is what keeps me coming back to Wayfair. The representatives on the phone are always so helpful and nice. I have unfortunately had problems with a few orders coming damaged due to the way the manufacturer packed it. But I've never had a problem remedying it like family and friends have on other online ordering companies. I always leave satisfied. Love love love. As long as the customer service stays the same I will be a loyal Wayfair customer.

Ordered dining room set (Demi Weathered Grey) plus 2 bar stools. Delivery came just as was promised. Delivery people very nice, brought items inside. Asked where to set them. I am very pleased with my purchase. Love the color just as pictured. Perfect size for my townhouse. I will definitely purchase from Wayfair going forward. This is my second and third time ordering and have not been disappointed. Good quality and great prices.

After a dozen or more calls concerning the delivery issues with laminate wood flooring I received no help whatsoever. I never received any call backs as promised. Never got any help or responses. I had to contact the independent freight service myself and with their help the mislocated shipment of $4,000 plus in merchandise was found and delivered. But not one of the many employees at Wayfair who faithfully promised to get answers and help for me actually followed through at all. Zero help. So disappointed with the lack of service I received. Shame on you Wayfair customer service!!!

Wayfair has excellent customer service; returns are painless though have seldom done so. Nice variety of products; merchandise is priced a bit high sometimes, but free shipping on most orders evens out things out, I think.

I have ordered several thousands of dollars worth of furnishings over the past two months. I have had multiple problems, at least five, with items purchased. One was lost in transit; two wrong items shipped; three items were defective and had to be replaced; one was broken and a part had to be sent. It has been a nightmare. The representatives are the only bright light: they are pleasant and work to resolve the problems.

Customer service were gracious, and tried to help. Each time that they tried to send a replacement it was wrong, and it seemed difficult to get across the part that was missing on our patio chair. Unfortunately, it seems that it was not able to be resolved, and so the patio chair remains incomplete. I have a good relationship with Wayfair, and have continued to order items, but this incident was unsatisfactory.

I waited a long time for this (2 Drawer Lipscomb) nightstand to come back into stock. Once I ordered and was delivered, the drawers had scuffs on them. I requested a refund and return. Which was accommodated within a few days. Very satisfied it was handled well.

I order a set of the Tindley Barstools by Varick. The came via Fedex, quickly and very well packed. They look like the representation in the photos. They are good looking and appear to be well made. I would use AllModern/Wayfair again and recommend it to friends.

Wayfair is an awesome website to shop from. The customer service is top notch. I ordered a table with benches, but one of the benches were missing the screws needed to build it. I contacted Wayfair and they had the screws shipped out quickly. Thank you Wayfair for making my day!

I have been pretty happy with everything I have purchased from Wayfair, my most recent purchase was a sofa, my only complaint was it took a month to get it. The sofa is good quality and seems sturdy, it is somewhat smaller that I expected but that's ok as I have a small living room.

The bathroom sinks and faucets arrived early and in excellent condition. They were exactly as described. They are beautiful and much better quality than I would have gotten at high end stores. Have ordered before and will again. Excellent quality!

My order arrived in good time in order to move it to my new home quite a distance away. Part of the order was damaged in shipping. Katrina ** handled my issue and got me all new replacement parts very quickly. She kept me informed all the way. Got the parts on time for the move. Nice.

I ordered a TV/media stand and I received a call from the delivery company and we scheduled a day and time for it to be delivered. On the delivery day (Friday 4/7), they called and said that they couldn't find the item and would conduct a dock search that could take up to a week. They told me to contact Wayfair and have them check to see if the item was even shipped to them. The delivery person said that they would keep me informed and update me on a daily basis to inform me of whether they found the item or not. I then called Wayfair to let them know. I spoke to a manger, Sadie, and she documented everything and told me that she would be in touch with me on her next working day which was Sunday. I never heard from her.
On Tuesday or Wednesday I called Wayfair again for an update and spoke to Louis because Sadie wasn't available. He said he would call the delivery company again and that I should do the same to try and get an update. I tried calling the company and no one answered. He said someone would be in touch with me by the end of the week. I never heard from anyone. The following Mon or Tues (over a week since the scheduled delivery) I spoke to Sadie again and she offered to order a replacement item in case the original piece was never found. I received an email confirmation of this but was never informed that the piece was now out of stock and wouldn't be back in stock until the end of May and delivery wouldn't be until the end of June.
When I spoke to Sadie a few days after that, she confirmed that the piece was never found and offered a $175 credit to my account. I asked if she could remove the original charge and re-charge me when the piece was actually shipped. She explained that she could but there would be a few days where I would be charged twice on my credit card. I decided to leave it alone.
Wayfair was very pleasant but I'm disappointed that they didn't call to update me when they said they would and I had to constantly call for updates. I also wish they had told me that the item was sold out. Sadie said she didn't see that it was sold out when she re-ordered it for me. I also feel that there should be more than a $175 credit for all of the inconvenience and that it will have taken me over 3 months to get the item I purchased.

I have ordered a gas stove, fan, ceiling fan, side table, dog beds and a duvet cover. I have never had a problem with a single order. The call line has been very helpful when I called and discounted the price further. They even helped me track an order from another company. The packaging has provided items without damage. I will order again. The prices are comparable and if you wait your item will go on sale. Lastly I have never paid for shipping.

I recently bought some pieces of furniture and they were great. I did compare the prices to other websites and Wayfair was the best by far, not to mention the free delivery. I did have some minor inconveniences with the delivery from FEDEX but Wayfair customer service stepped in and help me, they even gave a credit. Definitely recommend this website.

I generally like Wayfair a lot. Especially the mobile app! I have chosen furniture and textiles for pretty much the whole apartment using mostly mobile app. Customer service is helpful. They send you emails when the item you like is back in stock. The reason I gave four stars is the credit line I opened with Wayfair. I was under the impression I will get 0% for 12 months, and yet they charged me an interest right away. Otherwise, great website, good quality furniture!!

I've purchased a lot of things from Wayfair, but never had to return anything before. I tried to do it online for days and kept waiting for the email from Wayfair with instructions for return, but it never came. I finally had to call to do the return. I explained to the rep that I was looking at the screen saying that I should receive email but hadn't received it and she did it on her end. Since shipping was free and I had to go through the extra trouble to return I feel the return shipping charges should have been waived.

There was a price reduction prior to the item being delivered. I asked to have the price match and was told the only time they would price match was if the item was in stock. Which it was when I ordered but not when the price was reduced. The rep was very polite but I still feel that I should be given the price match which would have saved $130.

Bought 4 game table chairs with casters. Easy assembly. Discovered casters did not work on my ceramic tile floor. Bought replacement casters from another company. Notified Wayfair of problem and solution and they immediately refunded cost of casters. Outstanding.

Everything I've ordered from Wayfair has been exactly as described, great quality, and the prices cannot be better. Our most recent purchase are new white mugs for our morning coffee. We love them! They're well made yet light and look great. They actually look like fine Scandinavian China. I'll definitely look at Wayfair first for anything I need.
