I honestly wish I could give this company zero stars. I ordered a couch about a month ago, excited to have it at my Christmas party so finish off my living room. I sold my old couch and was ready to install the couch on its delivery date. Lo and behold it wasn't even shipped by the delivery date! I called Wayfair to ask when it was ship and was consistently told it would be shipped the next day, the next day, maybe the next Monday, until it didn't ship until a week and a half after the estimated ship time.
As a reconciliation, the company gave me FREE express shipping and I was like, "Finally! I'll get my couch!" Lo and behold, however, when I look at my FedEx order it's ground shipping and I won't get my couch set until the week after I was told I would, without a doubt, have it by. And, while they gave me a discount to pay for a rental couch, there actually aren't any furniture rental places near me where I can rent a couch for a week for $100. So I can either lose $200 due to their bad service or I can miss out on the couch I paid good money for.
Although their customer service team is extremely friendly on the phone and they gave me discounts, I can't excuse being misled over this, lied to, having to listen to their company blame FedEx or their vendors or anyone else they want to shift blame to, and not receiving my couch by a guaranteed date. Being friendly and giving me some money back doesn't excuse horrible service. Will never buy from them again and neither should you.

Most of us shop online, because we do not have time due to busy life and we love the convenience. Wayfair makes the experience and the convenience of online shopping a nightmare for you! I hope you take this seriously and stay away. The product you buy online will never make it on the day it was supposed to arrive. Always late! Late by at least 2 weeks. The website date is different from the date you get on the invoice. Then, you realize the date on the invoice is also different from the actual delivery date and you only get to know that when you speak to one of the Customer Service Agents. The Customer Service Agents give you inconsistent information about the status of the delivery/shipment and they over promise on things they cannot deliver. That is more upsetting to me. They apologize non-stop and how is that supposed to solve the problem? No action! Refund takes forever as well.
Please shop somewhere else and save time! Shopping with Wayfair does totally the opposite of what it was supposed to do. Management should really pay attention to this issue. Please learn from what happened to Target in Canada. Wayfair in Canada is likely to be dropped by consumers if you don't meet the requirements.

I have to start saying that this company is the worst I've ever known. Basically they lied to me, I had order a bed (very expensive by the way) and the original delivery date was December 13. I got an email and tracking number on December 3 saying that the bed was shipped and today December 10 I was notified by e-mail that the delivery date was changed to January 4 because the bed was in back order!!! I thought it was shipped already?! So the e-mail I received was fake? What kind of company is this? They lied to my face!! I called and complain and they say that there is nothing they could do! So I will have to sleep on the floor until they decide to deliver my bed. I also have to say that my card was charged the same day I received the FAKE confirmation that my order was shipped. Never ever buying anything else here!!! #jossandmain #wayfair

We ordered a full size bedroom set, mirror and jewelry box for our daughter. It came in 4 shipments. The bedroom set indicated: assembly required. The entire dresser, nightstand and bed had to be assembled in its entirety. The only thing provided was the lumber and hardware. In addition, the mirror advertised did not provide any hardware to hang the mirror. We ordered a gray color that showed it matched the furniture on the website. When it arrived it was more of a mud brown. The jewelry box was of poor quality and much larger than it appeared in the image. Wayfair does not provide free return shipping and most items hold a lot of weight. We will never purchase from them again. It is costly and time consuming.

Ordered a bedding set, they charged my account that day for the set... Three days later they charged my account a second time... Called to report this and get my money back and got passed back and forth for a week. Everyone claiming they had filed a report with financing. One girl even sent me a letter confirming this... Still have not received my money back that they took out of my account and was told a case manager would be contacting me twice, yet to have not been contacted. Not sure why they would charge my account a second time in the first place and then be so difficult in returning my money that they stole. Very frustrating and bad customer service... Would never trust purchasing from this company again, the products are good but the stress of having your hard earned money stolen from you is just not worth it.

I ordered wall art in the seventy-dollar range. The material that arrived was not as pictured on the website -- the image was blurry and the canvas was affixed to the frame, such that it looked as though it was hanging crooked, no matter how it was hung. And yes, you have to pay to return their items, which is not the industry standard. Seems like they buy lots of garbage no one else wants, and then re-purpose them on their website. Not impressed.

I placed an order for two items on November 23. I received an email order confirmation that gave a ship date of November 24, to be delivered by November 27. A couple of days later, I received notice that one item would be delayed and would be delivered by November 30, and I did get tracking information for that item. On November 26, I called because I had not heard anything about the second item (these were not large pieces, btw). I was told there was a delay with that item as well, but that it would ship on November 30, and be delivered by December 4. The lack of notification was blamed on a "glitch in the warehouse's computer system."
On November 30, I called again because I still had not received shipping confirmation. I was told it was still scheduled to be shipped that day, and that while it may not go out until late in the evening, I would be notified when it shipped. In the meantime my other item which had shipped was delayed, but was still making progress per FedEx tracking.
On December 1 I called again, since it was supposed to ship the day before and I still had no tracking information. I was placed on hold so the customer service representative could contact someone at the warehouse. When he got back on the line, I was told that they had the item, it was ready to ship, they just didn't have tracking information yet, but I should get that soon.
On December 4 I finally received the first item, but still hadn't heard anything about the second item. So I called again. I was reassured that they had the item, it was ready to ship, but that they were experiencing lots of delays with FedEx, and were simply waiting for FedEx to pick up the item. On December 5 I got an email saying the second item in my order was canceled. So I called again and was told they didn't have it and wouldn't be carrying that particular item in the future (it is no longer listed on their website).
I understand that inventory issues happen, and these issues may create situations where Wayfair cannot fulfill an order, but to be lied to on four separate occasions by four separate customer service representatives is not acceptable. I was given $10 off the item I had already received, but that is small consolation for the aggravation and inconvenience of being strung along for two weeks. And I still have to find and order the second item somewhere else. I've ordered from Wayfair without issue in the past, but I will not be doing business with them or any of their affiliates in the future. If anyone had been honest and told me they would be unable to fill my order on any one of the numerous times I called, I would feel differently about this situation. No one appreciates being lied to.

I ordered a set of fireplace tools. Tracked my package to make sure I was home on day of arrival. Did not arrive. Checked, will come next business day. Took time off again, did not arrive! Tried to call delivery service - FedEx promised it would come today! Checked tracking. Did not attempt delivery. Now almost a week after initial delivery date and still do not have it! Not worth the discount you get when you have to spend more time waiting for, trying to arrange and hoping for a delivery.

I applied for a Wayfair card and I was denied twice which is ok. The first time was my fault because I entered the wrong income so I corrected it and applied again. The second time they sent me this letter saying I had all kinds of crap on my Experian credit report so I pulled my own credit and none of those items were there. I even went and had my lawyer pull my report and none of those items were there so when my copy of my report came in the mail I called them to try to get answers and no one could help me. I got transferred from one person to the next and still nothing.
So what me and my lawyer have came up with is that they don’t do business in certain neighborhoods and they know they can’t say that so instead they just make up denial letters with stuff that's not true and send it to you. How do you explain that if those items were correct. It should be on my current copy of my report. Instead they push the problem off from person to person. What a messy company. I don’t think they want to admit the mistake they made or as I said the fact that they don’t do business in certain neighborhoods. If it truly was a credit issue they would be able to fix the problem especially since I have proof that those items were wrong. I’m going to have my lawyer look into it so more.

I purchased an wardrobe armoire from Wayfair in August 2018. The item was assembled incorrectly. The item has 8 doors. 2 of the doors have already fallen off and the others are not too far behind. Wayfair has sent me the wrong part for me to even try to fix the item. The doors are heavy and if one were to fall on me, it would cause serious injury. It is now December 2018 and I am still waiting for them to either fix it or collect the item and refund me. The wardrobe is large and there is no way for me to even try to disassemble it. You'd think they would worry about me getting seriously hurt by a falling door and try to get the item fixed immediately. I have bought a lot of stuff from them but no more!

I took days to select a loveseat on their site. I made the order with a rep, at the end I asked that they take it a foot inside the house, one level. Rep said, "I took the liberty of making the order for you." So as she didn't know the answer I had to cancel the order, which held up my bank acct. I explained I am old and small, and can't wrestle a 100 lb thing into my house. Also it rains always where I live, and there is no one to help me with the item. They kept me on the string for 3 days waiting to see if they could bring it into the house; my door opens directly into living room. After 3 days they called to say they couldn't bring it in. Disgusting. I was going to get the couch to go with it if it looked good when it got to me; and also two chairs. So Wayfair, your ridiculous policy cost you a sale of over $1000. How do you expect most folks to wrestle that much weight into their homes?

Found a console table on Wayfair.com that we were interested in purchasing. Had the item in my cart at a certain price only to find that they switched the price when I went to check out. Making matters even stranger, the company sent me an email earlier in the day urging that I make the purchase at the original (lower) price. Customer service was unwilling to honor the lower price point referred to in both my cart and email and even worse unapologetic. This is the second time that Wayfair has increased the price of our item(s) at the time of check out in as many attempts to use the company's website. Very disheartening. Because I am new to online ordering, I was unaware of expectations in the delivery of furniture. I "assumed" that the item would be delivered to an apartment and actually brought in. This was not the case. The item was being delivered as a gift to a indigent disabled person who has no way of bringing the heavy boxes into her home. Nor was it obvious that it would require assembly - that's on me because I didn't read the description well enough, but it would have been nice if they made that more obvious. I would give ZERO STARS. My nightmare started with Wayfair back in Sept when I placed the first order and continues two months later. The delivery company Wayfair uses in Florida is outsourced. They are inexperienced and unprofessional. It took over 2hrs to get the sofa bed in the door and they damaged the walls in my entrance hallway and damaged the furniture as well. I was advised by Wayfair that I had to deal with the contractor, Apogee to get the property damage repaired. This took over 3 weeks to complete. Wayfair had to deliver another sofa due to the damages. The 2nd sofa arrived defective with staples sticking out of the sides. The same delivery company came and assured me there would be no property damages. When they left, I saw there was another hole in the wall as they did not secure the entrance door.
At this point I had a Case Manager and the case was escalated to her Manager. This Manager has ignored my calls and emails for help to fix my property. I even found the COO name on Google and emailed him. He did answer and said he would take care of it. He never did. 5 DAYS BEFORE THANKSGIVING AND THERE ARE HOLES IN THE WALLS BY WAYFAIR. When the COO says he will take care of it and does nothing...shows you what to expect, nothing. There have been 3 deliveries of the same sofa, damaged and stained. There have been 2 separate damages to my property. Wayfair fixed the first damage and has ignored my numerous requests to get the 2nd damages repaired.

I ordered the Copenhagen SOFA after spending a few weeks trying to decide on which item to order...which advertised 2-day shipping, on 9/24/18. At time of checkout- I realized (apparently) the 2-day shipping didn’t apply to the exact item I ordered. I assumed this was because of the color- which I was willing to wait a few days for. The item was to be shipped/delivered by mid October (I don’t remember the exact dates). On the day my SOFA was to be shipped, I received an email that it was backordered and would be shipped 11/9/18 and delivered by 11/16/18.
Maybe a week before it was shipped I logged in to my Wayfair account to see if there had been any updates or further delays. My order invoice now read: Copenhagen LOVESEAT. I contacted customer service and they said that I had ordered the LOVESEAT even though my original invoice read SOFA. Fast forward, I tried to cancel the order and was told by customer service that the item was already being shipped and that I could not cancel the order. The following Monday I received an email informing my item was STILL BACKORDERED and would not be shipped until January 2019!!!
This is the most ridiculous company. They changed my order, promised ship dates, refused to cancel orders, then further delayed shipping!?! FOR AN ITEM OTHER THAN THAT WHICH I ORDERED!!! Has anyone even received what they ordered in the time frame in which it was promised!? For the actual item ordered!?! I have never experienced worse customer service. Don’t waste time trying to decide on WHAT to buy, because chances are you’ll never even see it. I will be spending at least twice as much SOMEWHERE ELSE just to NOT deal with this disgusting business.

This was the first time I tried Wayfair and it will surely be my last. I wish I went with Amazon. Only thing was they didn't have what I was looking for at the time. I ordered a vanity set on Nov 12 which was a Monday and was showing it would ship out that Wednesday. Come Wednesday my order hadn't shipped and when I checked to see what was going on I found that the order had been placed on hold. Not knowing what that meant I waited thinking it will ship out by end of day, come Thursday it was still showing the same, I called them and the rep said it was placed on hold because I used split payment methods.
This was a first for me because I've done that before but with Amazon and they never had an issues processing my orders. Fast forward the rep told me she's contacted the financial department to have it processed. Later that day it shows it was ready to ship out by the following week Wednesday and wouldn't be delivered until another week Wednesday. What? 3 weeks for an order that showed would be delivered next week. That's really bad business. And they have Amazon to compete with, jee even Walmart sticks to their word. I'm extremely disappointed and will never order from them again nor recommend them. Please Wayfair do better!

Which I would have never seen in that amount of time. Also the fact that my money hasn't been put back on my card... Why would I buy something again so quick? Very inconsiderate.
I had been patiently waiting all day, so excited for my chairs to come in! They didn't contact me until the afternoon I was suppose to receive my order. Also, very inconsiderate. The customer service policies of this corporation are unfathomable! I run my own retail store and I would be upset with my employees if they did not honor the price that the store messed up on even if it is "under what we paid for it"... THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT NO MATTER THE CIRCUMSTANCES!
**I remembered seeing these same chairs so I looked them up... The other store was only $10 more per chair (around 240) but Wayfair had them priced at around $230. Sounds good right? Wayfair has them originally priced at $580 and reduced significantly to make it look like you just got the best deal! This corporation is a joke! I agree with a lot of the posters who have had issues with pricing. I used to shop fairly often on their Open Box website, especially for items 80% off. Wow, what a great of amount deals - until you click on them, put them in your cart, and the item is suddenly no longer available. However, you can still purchase at the regular price. Quite a bait, click and switch going on here, even though Makenzie **, the supervisor in Customer Service, claimed they would NEVER "fool" their customers. She claimed it appeared to be a tech problem and they would manually remove it from their site. She also confirmed the item was no longer in inventory.
Two months later, the item is still advertised 80% off and actually shows 2 available. When I questioned it, Makenzie no longer answers my emails to explain why they didn't manually remove the item. This actually has been going on for years with many of their "reduce priced" items creating, false advertising-actually fraud. You can't tell me that Wayfair has such an inept IT department that they can't fix an inventory issue. I think not. Just another trick for the customer to purchase the same item at a higher price. Obviously they plan to continue to "fool" the consumer.

I purchased lamps on Wayfair.com. The delivery was ok and the product was good. The problem was the credit card. They offered me $3000 of credit line. I never received a credit card. But I received a monthly statement. Guess what?! The credit card number was hidden with asterisks except the last four numbers. That means, I cannot set up automatic payments through my bank account and I cannot get access to my credit card on Wayfair.com because everywhere they ask for a full card number.
Call center automated service found me by my social security number and I made my monthly payment in time. But this is not how I pay my credit cards. Average American by statistics has 12 credit cards. If I have to call for each of them to make my payment, I would go crazy. I set up automatic payments and my bank pays it for me on a certain day. So, since I cannot pay my card as I wish, this $3000 credit line is useless for me. So, I paid it off and will never ever use it again. I also reported my card was lost two times and never received a replacement. There is something wrong about their credit card departments.

After just reading Wayfair's return policy, I understand there is nothing we can do at this point. However, I wanted to let you know that we are very disappointed with the grill that we purchased from Wayfair. The reason includes: 1. The grill is very cheaply made in terms of materials; and 2. Because of the cheap materials, panels and the racks came bent and damaged, making the assembly process very difficult and damage noticeable; and 3. Upon assembly, the side shelves sat at a 10 to 15-degree angle on both sides rather than sitting flush with the grill; and 4. The flame from the burners was inconsistent. It seems some of the burners were defective.
We needed this for a wedding of 200 that we catered this past weekend and it seriously fell short of our expectations. Unless there's something Wayfair can do to make this right, I doubt we'll be purchasing from Wayfair again. On a positive note, the delivery was made a day ahead of schedule, unfortunately, the negatives noted above far outweigh the positive delivery time.

I haven't yet seen the product. Normally, I am happy with the product I've ordered, usually furniture. I am a business customer. This piece of furniture was advertised to be delivered one week from the order date at the latest. It is now estimated to be delivered over 3 weeks from order date. I have spoken to 4 different customer service people to track the delivery, and explain why it is not here yet. It turns out the package was routed to the wrong part of the country. And they give themselves 2 days from arrival to local delivery to even schedule delivery.
I have been told by 3 customer service agents that I have a case manager tracking my delivery and trying to make sure it comes quickly. They also said the case manager would call me next business day. Said case manager has not called me. And the piece of furniture promised to a person with disabilities has been seriously delayed. How can I run a business using their products if they can't run their business properly?

When I went online to pay the bill it said I had zero available on my line of credit. That is not true. I know my line of credit. So beware if you are 16 days late or less. They charge you 25.00 and then kill your line of credit. I will never shop with them again. Paying off and being done, with this. Homegoods is closer and I’d rather give my business to a local consignment shop or furniture store. Don't trust Wayfair. They lie to make a sale. I bought a playset from Wayfair for two reasons, and they screwed us over on both. First, there was an option online to add expert set up but it sounded too good to be true. I called and spoke to a young man who verified that Wayfair would set up our playset for an added cost. I asked him to check with a manager and he said Wayfair would take care of installation. I also verified that the order qualified for 12 month special financing with the Wayfair credit card.
We placed the order and waited (problems with delivery but everything else with the order makes the delivery not so bad). The playset sat in our garage for over a week because of course, Wayfair doesn't do THAT kind of installation. After a lot of back and forth, they gave us a partial credit towards the installation cost. But guess what? Then they charged me the finance charges! The guy that sold it to us never applied the financing and they refused to fix it. I am so unhappy with our experience. So not worth it! Horrible customer service. I'll never buy from Wayfair again.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM WAYFAIR! I wish I would have read better reviews about them before buying furniture from there a year ago. I purchased a couch and the pictures and reviews on their website made it seem like this particular one would be a good buy. However, after having the couch for a year it definitely was not. The material is extremely cheap and I'll be surprised if this couch can last another 2 years. With this couch, you have to assemble it yourself and the threading has a very low stitch count.
Anything and everything gets stuck and fur from pets is impossible to get out even when vacuuming. I am unable to write a review about this couch on Wayfair's website because you have to be sent an email from them in order to do this which makes their reviews extremely misleading. I have purchased other furniture pieces from there as well and the quality is worse than IKEA. Whatever you do, don't order from here. It's a complete waste of money and you'll have to replace these pieces within a couple of years!

Terrible company and horrible customer service, not to mention bad products. I purchased a sectional that I had to wait 2 months for. The people who delivered it couldn't fit it through my door. I called Wayfair who told me the feet are bolted from the INSIDE. They said I could have the delivery men put the sectional in my garage and then I had to be responsible for cutting into the sofa, getting the bolt off to remove the leg, hiring someone to put the sofa into my house and THEN they would send a repair person to my home to reassemble it and fix the cut. I may or may not have to pay for the repair person. I was driving home during all of this from taking care of my mother who had emergency heart surgery out of state.
I called twice to verify I could have it delivered when I got home and my case manager, Rachel, agreed and said she'd call Monday to set up a time. No call so I called and Rachel was too busy to talk with me and a super happy girl informed me my sectional was shipped back and I am billed $363 for the return! I told her that is a mistake and I want it brought over to do as Rachel told me, but she said I'd have to reorder the sectional, wait an additional 2 months AND the price had gone up!!! Considering they had already made this for me, I find this ridiculous. I ordered the sectional for the power foot rests because I am disabled and need power ones as I'm too weak for manual foot rests and can't put them down.
I have company coming this weekend and have spent 3 months with no furniture already. The perky pest did offer that they could send something to me to use in the meantime, for an additional charge. During my supposed delivery window of 8am-12pm, I receive an email stating that there is a problem with my delivery and I need to call them. Mind you, I have been assigned a case manager that would email me every week just to tell me the product was still out of stock, she didn't call or email to give me any status on the delivery. Clarissa, the "case manager" never offered any recompense for the delays either. She was useless. I call and am told that the package arrived damaged. That the product is still back ordered and I can't expect delivery until December. Remember, I ordered this in JULY!

The first sign of trouble was that the box the product (a tv cabinet) was shipped in was beat up and covered with yards and yards of packing tape. It appeared to have been opened and re-sealed several times - maybe to remove parts for other cabinets to be shipped? Sure enough three major components and the entire hardware package were missing. Wayfair personnel were pleasant and helpful, but we were told the product was out of stock and could not be replaced for several weeks. They offered a full credit of our purchase which we accepted. We were told however that we have to hold on to the product in case the manufacturer decided to send a representative to inspect the product. (???) After two weeks we are left to dispose of the product. My recommendation is that any buyer that receives a product that appears to have been opened and tampered with should refuse delivery from the carrier.

I recently purchased hardwood flooring from Wayfair for a renovation project. At the beginning of the week, I had found a new listing for Somerset Solid hardwood flooring at an unbeatable price. There were 3 different colors listed for sale, all at the same price of $2.95 per square foot. Over the next few days I ordered a sample of one color only listed as "tan wood". I received the sample board only a few days later with all the available colors and types of flooring (solid and solid+engineered). I was happily surprised with the color and quality of the product at such a great price, however, there was no color "tan wood" listed on the sample board.
In the meantime, I was contacted multiple times by a free personal concierge from Wayfair. I spoke with her about my confusion regarding the color, and she reassured me that it was simply just listed by another industry name. I ultimately decided on one of the other colors, but was unable to find it on the website as it had been listed earlier in the week. I asked the concierge about this and she was able to locate the product on her system at the previously advertised price of $2.95 per square foot. I wanted to order immediately because at such a great price I knew it would sell out fast. I told her the square footage I needed for my entire first floor (1400 sq ft) and she calculated that I would need 18 boxes of flooring. I double checked on my home computer at the same time (with the same product, only a different color) and it gave the same amount needed, 18 boxes. I placed the order immediately and was thrilled with my purchase.
THE NEXT DAY, I was telling my dad about this great deal I found on an awesome hardwood floor and he, working in construction, questioned the amount of boxes as he thought it seemed like a lot of square footage per box. I logged into the Wayfair website and found the product I purchased. It was now listed at $9.20 per square foot. I said, "Wow, I bought this just in time before the price change!" I opened the product page and typed in my square footage needed and the calculator now tells me I actually need 56 boxes of product. 56 BOXES! 18 boxes apparently would only get me 450 square feet. I immediately called Wayfair and shared my concerns. The girl on the phone was very nice and told me she was going to figure it out for me. She said there was a price change yesterday (the day I ordered the product) and that there had been an error in the system as the amount of flooring per box was listed incorrectly.
She spoke to her manager multiple times explaining the situation. Ultimately, they would honor the 18 boxes of flooring at $2.95 per square foot, however, they would not honor the order of 1400 square feet although it was their own error. They offered me a discount on the remaining 1000 square feet of flooring I needed, however this doubled the cost for me, blowing my budget completely out of the water. When I asked why they would not honor what I had ordered, since I had placed my order directly over the phone through one of their employees, she replied that in the Terms and Conditions section of the website it states that the company reserves the right to make changes to or revoke any order in the setting of any mistake (their own) and that they simply could not honor what I had ordered only the day before.
Needless to say I cancelled my entire order and am extremely disappointed. I understand the difference in price was quite substantial, but I do not understand how a company refuses to honor an order that was mistakenly advertised by their own team at no fault of the customer, and was purchased directly through a live employee. I have had great experience in the past with Wayfair, and this order started out great as well. Unfortunately the outcome was extremely disappointing and I would caution anyone purchasing from the company to check, recheck and question any order you place as it may not be what you expect.

I said I would sign for what I received, but they refused (were very rude about it, too) and took the whole thing away. Then we had a week’s long exchange where some of their reps said the missing chairs arrived in the warehouse and some insisted they were lost in transit.
We finally agreed with the manager Sam that I’ll take what they have, sign that I received everything, but he will make sure I’ll get the missing chairs. The delivery was scheduled, I received a confirmation email, amended my schedule, waited for 4 hours, but my order never arrived. When I called, I was told there was a mistake and my set didn’t get loaded on the truck. The second rug I ordered wasn't delivered and delivered to another state. I currently have to wait another week for its arrival. I hope to have it by October 19, 2018 as promised.
Let me honest, the TV stand fireplace was not damaged, however once I pulled the sticker off as directed, it tore the "wood". The dresser arrived damaged and the replacement they sent arrived more damaged than original damaged product. When you pay over 1K for a product, you'd hope that it would arrive in tact. Their customer service is great so I do applaud them for that and sending replacements. I do hope if you utilize Wayfair that you have a better experience. Now that Wayfair has taken my funds and only delivered the one piece, I am now getting the runaround with everything else I’ve ordered. The second piece of furniture I ordered was sent to the wrong address due to their warehouse putting the wrong address on the box. Which they did indicate was their fault.
Now the last piece I’ve ordered has been the worst of all. Not only did they only send one piece to my bed frame. They stated the other pieces wouldn’t be delivered till the following day. Now calling the company because of course the piece was never delivered. The company stated that no one even knew about the other pieces not being delivered. It went from it being the drivers/movers from the warehouse fault to no one wants to take the blame.
The only resolution they could give me is that it will be delivered on Monday. By the way did I state this package was to be delivered on Wednesday, so now having to not only take off work 4 days for this issue but now have to take off a fifth day. Now to finish everything the only thing they stated could be done to make me happy would be for them to set up the furniture at no charge. I will say this once, never order from Wayfair. They do not know how to handle their Unhappy customers and definitely need more professional employees.

It wasn't dark brown but dark grey (luckily we preferred that colour though it wasn't an option). The drawers base is only held together with panel pins/brad nails so only light things can be placed in there. Some pilot holes for screws/nails weren't made, some holes were too large that the screws and brackets fell out.
One shelf was loose, one fitted perfectly, two were extremely tight. We decided not to add the light brown plastic feet to the cabinet. They were cheap and flimsy and ugly. We didn't want to trust them to our new 70" TV. Definitely no comparison to IKEA flatpack furniture. This will be our only purchase we will ever have with Wayfair! The order did not say 'arrive by Friday'', it said 'arrive on Friday', however it arrived on Tuesday with no note or doorbell pressed or email notice. The only thing good about my online order was it was easy to search and pay.

I’ve never had a worse experience with online shopping than that we experienced with Wayfair. It’s impossible to plan for their deliveries because they don’t deliver on time or often not at all. Their tracking is non-existent and once they even pulled up to the house and then pulled away a few minutes later. Their customer service personnel, while responsive regarding time, has no idea what they’re doing. They’ve charged our credit card for things we didn’t buy, they’ve shipped us things from our project list we didn’t order, lost our shipments, delivered them to the wrong address, charged us for assembly of items pre-assembled from the manufacturer and, our favorite, once notified us to let us know they would be delivering our order on a date two weeks in the past! Stick with Overstock — Wayfair is a nightmare.

I negotiate a business account with Wayfair, due to the nature of my business (trade Shows) we buy huge amounts of furniture. All our orders have delays/damaged products. The latest attempt was for 12 Mapleton Armchair by Wade Logan. The chairs were supposed to be delivered in my Atlanta location, they weren't, my truck had a deadline to leave to Texas so I ask them to reroute it to my transportation partner in Houston. The ones that got there (4 of 12) were all damaged, unusable.
On an attempt to fulfill a contract with my customer I ask them to overnight it to the trade show organizer. 3 business days later, I being given the runaround, 3-4 hours calls with no delivery date set. I am most likely to lose a very important customer and my company is beyond frustrated. The commercial on TV surely looks great but as far as logistics, customer service and kindness goes, they have tons to learn. I do not recommend the company, their affiliates companies or any of their products. By the way, their customer service is one of the worst I ever saw.

The emails are coming in as service@Wayfair.com. I contacted Wayfair directly and asked that my email address be removed and that didn’t help. This is blatant marketing in order for the consumer to have to deal with this spam while they make money selling our personal information. I have tried to block these emails on both my iPhone and iPad and for some reason it doesn’t work. So to add to my problem is the fact that they cannot be removed. I ordered a living room set and a sofa bed. When they deliver my dining room the driver or FedEx left my package outside the building. Good thing I went out and saw the package, so I have to bring this big boxes up to my apartment. I Called them and told them not to leave my packages outside the building. After four days I got an email saying my sofa was delivered, but I can't find my package. Called them and asked, where my package is. They say they don't and they have to call me back. After two days the crew person in my building told me that they saw a big package outside the other building and it was wet because it was raining hard in Connecticut that week. I called the customer service, told them what happened and they told me that they are going to send someone to pick up the package but they never did.
After two days the package suddenly appears in the hallway inside my building and the building manager told me to remove my package because it's a fire hazard. Called customer service. They say they will call me back to fixed this problem, but they never return my call. Then early morning, the package appears in front of my door. Open the package and it was wet and damage. Someone in the company called me and they are willing to replace the sofa and gave me more than 50% off plus and a free installation which I was very happy. So I thought the nightmare was over until they deliver the new sofa which they left it outside the building and again it was raining.
I called and talked to ELISHA **, I told her what happened and send her some pictures of the package. She said she will give me a 50% off if the package is still good, but I have to bring it inside my apartment. I waited downstairs and asked someone to help me bring my package to my apartment and I gave them $40.00. I called Elisha and left her a message to call me back, but she never returned my call until I called customer service the next day and asked for a manager then she took my call with an attitude and said: "What do I want."
I'm very thankful that she gave me a discount, but the issue is not the money, it's the stressed and time that I put up just to fixed the issue. The customer service doesn't call me back, I have to keep calling them to resolve my problem. I don't think this is the right way to treat your customers. Wayfair says that Willa Arlo contracts with Safavieh, as do other companies. In theory, that is fine, but not if they are selling the exact rug for far cheaper as a Safavieh rug elsewhere! I'm submitting this review because I've read so many negative reviews and my first experience could not have gone better. I ordered a small recliner on or about August 2nd and was told it would be delivered on August 13 through UPS. It arrived around noon today... the 13th and was in good condition. The box was firm and well taped and when I opened it the chair itself was well protected by a cloth bag under which there was some styrofoam padding. The chair was very easy to remove from the box. I put the box on its side so I could pull the chair out rather than have to lift it. It was very easy to put together. I only had to slip the back into the slots of the bottom of the chair and it was ready to use. I did this by myself and I'm a 79-year-old woman who is 4' 11" and weigh 118 pounds. The chair itself is exactly as described and works well. It fits exactly as I had hoped into the small spot I have for it. The colour is almost exactly as it looked on the website.
Currently, it is a bit stiff, but I expect that is simply because it is brand new and will become somewhat easier through use. My only complaint is not with Wayfair, but with the UPS driver, who was very curt and not at all pleasant, but that is NOT the fault of Wayfair. As mentioned earlier this is my first experience with Wayfair, however, I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone looking to purchase furniture online. When shopping on this site they go into great detail about their products... Make sure you read and agree with all of those and you will not be disappointed. Colour me a happy customer.

It's entirely possible that you will order something from Wayfair, get your product in a timely manner, and have no problems with the product you do receive. But God help you if even one issue comes up, because Wayfair certainly won't. Instead you'll get a mixture of incompetence and dishonesty that is startling. I ordered a bed frame and received the product on time, which was great, but it came with two left side rails instead of one for each side. I called Wayfair to get a replacement part, they said they could send it out in a few days. I asked if they could expedite the shipment and they said this wasn't possible. So I waited an additional 10 days for the replacement.
When the new part finally arrived, it was the wrong part! It wasn't a side rail at all. So I called again and they said they would send out the correct part and have the shipping process expedited. Mind you that they said the process could not be expedited when I called them the first time, but all of a sudden it was possible. I got an email later that afternoon (Monday) telling me the replacement had shipped via FedEx, along with a tracking #. The next day (Tuesday) I checked on FedEx to see where the product was, and FedEx showed no record of having picked the item up. I called FedEx and had them do a trace, and in the meantime followed up with Wayfair.
The person in customer service I spoke to (Josh) assured me that the product had been picked up on Monday night and that I would receive it by Wednesday night. When I pointed out the FedEx did not show it as having been picked up he told me that sometimes FedEx doesn't reflect their pickups in a timely manner, and that he had confirmed directly with the warehouse that the item was sent. Later that day the FedEx driver called and told me that they hadn't picked up anything on Monday night, and that this warehouse was actually closed that week for inventory. Still, I thought that maybe FedEx had a mix-up and that my product was still coming.
The next day (Wednesday) I called Wayfair again and spoke with a Rachel. Rachel told me that the product had not shipped out on Monday night (as Josh had assured me that it had), but had shipped out Tuesday morning, and that I should receive it by Thursday night. I pointed out that FedEx still wasn't showing the item in their system and told her about my conversation with the driver about the warehouse being closed. She assured me that the item had been shipped. I asked her if she had spoken with someone at the warehouse directly, and she said yes.
Thursday morning I called Wayfair again since FedEx still hadn't shown any status update. The rep I spoke to then said that the part had never shipped out because the warehouse was out of stock. I asked when they received this info from the warehouse and she told me the night before. When I asked why no one got in touch with me to give me an update she told me "probably because no one got around to it." She then told me that I could either have a completely brand new bed shipped to me or get a full refund, but that the new bed wouldn't ship out for another month.
I opted for the refund and asked her what I should do with the incomplete bed I had in my apartment. She said I could do whatever I wanted - didn't offer to send anyone to pick it up or anything. I now have to deal with disposing of bulk furniture on my own. On the email they sent confirming my refund they had the nerve to tell me I should hold onto the product and packaging for two weeks in case they decide to retrieve it, as if after all that I'm going to provide them with free storage.
When I first looked up Wayfair I saw a lot of the negative reviews but took them with a grain of salt. I decided to take a gamble because they had a product that I really liked. I really wish I hadn't. After over three weeks and hours on the phone, all I have to show for my order is an incomplete bed that I am now responsible for throwing away. I hope someone takes this review more seriously than I took the negative reviews that I read. I'm at a loss to explain how this company is still even in business. Whoever is in charge of customer service at Wayfair needs to be fired.

I thought Wayfair was going to be a wonderful place to buy furniture and after 3 very poor quality experiences I have to say they do not have quality products. I purchased 2 desks that had a rip on the back of particle board. I purchased a 2 tier glass and metal coffee table and they did not pack any hardware. Then today, I put together 1 of 2 chairs and when I started to put together the 2nd chair I realized they packed 1 left and 3 right side rails. The one chair that I put together was rickety and generally a poor quality product. I do not feel they are meeting the standards they profess.

I am reviewing here because I tried to leave an honest customer review of the WAYFAIR product I received and the poor experience I had. WAYFAIR did not like that my review gave only 1 star and called them out with clear photos for the misleading product & photos/description they sold me VS. the item I received. I was duped like many other customers on the site and was not able to correct the situation easily, therefore forced to keep a bad product with a slight discount for the 'mishap'. They attempted to resend me a corrected part for my order (chair legs) but when they arrived, they were still in the totally incorrect finish that did not match the photos on their website.
They would not take back the wrong items, forcing me to keep them on my end. WAYFAIR not only removed my honestly written review, but they never posted it on the product page and also intentionally removed the option for me to edit or re-review my product purchase in my account further. I will never give them business again and I am closing my credit account I have held in great standing with them over the past year. Very sad of the experience and treatment I had received and that they would remove an honest review like that. It makes me think twice when I read any reviews next - are they paid reviews?? Do they keep only the good or half decent ones on purpose, just to sell the product, and remove all of the honest and poor reviews like mine?

I have to write something to counter all the bad reviews of Wayfair, because my experiences with them have been excellent all the way. I bought a condo and needed many new items of all sizes and shapes. I ordered everything from Wayfair and can't say enough good things about the experience. Their customer service is superb, better than I could imagine. For instance, I ordered two upholstered side chairs in blue, changed my mind on the color after they arrived, and Wayfair sent someone the next day to pick them up at their expense and sent the new color within days, also at their expense. I've also ordered a coffee table, a lamp, towels, shower curtains, tray tables, curtains, a TV console/stand, and a chest of drawers.
One reviewer said not to order large items from Wayfair, but I've ordered two and had no problems. Others have said customer service is bad, but I find everyone I've been in contact with to be friendly, efficient, and willing to do whatever it takes to help me. I've returned and exchanged several items, and the system is smooth -- you just print out the label they send you and they either pick it up (in the case of large items) or you take it to FedEx.
The refund or store credits appear within HOURS of being at the FedEx store; it doesn't seem physically possible, but it's true. I'm sure if you live in a small town that's not true, but here in suburban Seattle it is. I get nothing but compliments on the items I have purchased. The selection is HUMONGOUS and the items I have purchased are of high quality. Don't be put off by the bad reviews; I'm not saying these bad experiences aren't true; I'm saying it's a truism that usually it's the disgruntled who write reviews. Wayfair is, in my book, the way to go.

They agreed to call me when they were close to my home is I could be there. No calls.
My child got home after 4:00 from school. A knock at the door; it was the delivery man. He asked "are your parents home?" My child said no. The delivery man said he needed a signature and my child opened the door to sign. The delivery man then asked if he could use our restroom. Our child let him inside and the delivery man went upstairs and used the restroom in our home. Rowley and Sons has not responded to my messages. I bought a bed on Wayfair unassembled. First of all, the bed was delivered about a week late. The bed had some drawers and as I was assembling the bed I noticed that it was missing a drawer support rail. I called customer service for the missing part and explained that it was the drawer support rail, I gave them the letter the part corresponded to, and followed up with a picture indicating the part. A few weeks later, they shipped me a drawer -- not the support rail. I contacted customer service again to explain, and a couple weeks later, they sent me another piece -- again, not the support rail.
I contacted them again, and a couple weeks later, they finally shipped me the support rail. I thought everything is finally done, but as I finished assembling, I noticed that the boards on top are the wrong size! They're for a double not a full bed. So after weeks of sleeping in the living room as I wait for one part after another, I STILL HAVE THE WRONG PARTS! I ordered a sofa in July with an estimated date of delivery of July 27. On the 27th this was changed to August 3rd, and on August 3rd, bumped to August 12th. According to the tracking information the item had traveled thru 4 states before taking a 7-day rest in Lima, MT. Customer service was not able to offer an explanation or any information in addition to the most recent estimation so I chose to cancel the order rather than have it arrive on our doorstep while we were on vacation.
Interestingly, Wayfair confirmed receipt of the returned item, at the original warehouse in less than 24 hours. Seems fishy, I suspected the tracking info was completely fabricated. Even more so when I discussed the experience with my sister who'd "tracked" her shipments progress thru 11 states on its way from CA to MT over 2 months before they finally suggested that she just reorder. To be fair, the return process was painless, customer service was friendly and I've been told to expect a full refund in 3-5 business days. Hopefully those are actual calendar days and not subject to the Wayfair time warp.

I phoned the number and they said if I had bought it direct from them, they would replace it. However, since I bought it from Wayfair then I should have Wayfair contact them and they will replace it that way.
I contacted Wayfair and they refuse to do this because their POLICY is only one year warranty and that expired a month ago. I would have gave it zero stars. I ordered initially three of the black spotlight cams from Wayfair. Only one worked out of the three. The other two you could tell easily had been refurbished because the box was not sealed and they have parts such as the rubber pad which was a stick and peel that I would have to put on to cover up the maintenance USB port on top. Neither one of these devices would connect to my router so I took it over to my business with the whole complete different system and router and they would not connect either.
At first I thought it was my equipment but soon came to the Realization after spending 5 to 6 hours on the phone with Ring customer service these items were defective and there was nothing they could do to help me with them. I even let Ring customer service connect to my computer to go over my settings and make sure that everything was in correct order with my router and computer and still after exhausting every effort to make these two devices work but the two devices continue to fail and to make matters worse they sent a replacement spotlight cameras to replace the two that didn’t work and guess what? They sent me two refurbished ones again with the same situation. The same parts not been connected and very angry because I was paying full price for these products and they Keep sending me refurbished items that pretty much tells me everything I need to know about Wayfair.
Update 8/4/18. As of today I have looked into it and have found that the IP and MAC address are completely different from the ones on the box and also on the outside of the unit itself leaving me to believe that I was correct all along. These have been tampered with and different parts have been put into these camera units that are most likely not authentic ring parts and then charging me full price as if they were directly from Ring, no wonder why they will not connect to the app or my WI-Fi. Shame on you Wayfair. Your dishonesty will catch up to you maybe not today but soon. OH and the only security cam that did work guess what? The IP and Mac address match up perfectly with the ones on the box and unit itself.

But luckily it's now been found and is on the way??? Hmmm...so it's supposed to be here August 6th but maybe they can expedite it for August 3rd. Well we needed it for tomorrow August 4th so we call just to be sure and guess what??? It's lost again???
But it should be here August 14th. So we went to a local store and bought one off the showroom floor because we need it now. We called Wayfair back to cancel our lost sofa and they say, "Oh. It's in transit." So we have to pay a return shipment fee. What??? Isn't it lost??? Well we are NOT paying any fee we tell them and after arguing our point they reluctantly agree. This just happened today. Wayfair you don't have anything I need! (Sings in head while reading.)

If it was out of stock why they booked order. Please think 1000 times before ordering from this company. They real don't care customer satisfaction. They just follow computer.

I will never ever order from Wayfair again. I bought a bed on May 26. It shipped May 31. Tracking information said it would get to delivery agent on or before June 20. HMM considering it's coming from Illinois and I live in NW Pennsylvania that seems like a long time, but whatever I had accepted the snail delivery. Then on or about June 6 I see an update that it was to get to the local delivery agent on or before June 12. Oh boy I was excited and thought I better get busy. I want to paint and install new carpet in the bedroom. I sell my old bed clean out the room paint put in the new rug and on June 12th there wasn't any notice that it had arrived on the 13th no updates to the site on the 14th still no updates so here I go talking to customer service trying to find out something about my bed.
Of course that did no good just constant stalling miscommunication and then the only real response I get is, "I put in a request to have your information updated." REALLY!!! That's the best answer I get? The night of the 14th yes my tracking is updated. My bed had gone right around Pennsylvania from IL, IN, TN, NC, VA, and now with today being June 16th it hasn't moved from MD. Oh yea there was a memo, "SORRY your shipment has been delayed and should arrive at local delivery agent June 22nd." Ok so not only has my bed been in MD since Thursday the 14th it's not due to arrive in Pennsylvania until Friday the 22nd. As if that wasn't bad enough being a Friday and knowing no one works on the weekends and that you need an additional 24-48 hrs for inspection before I even get notified by the local delivery agent to set up an appointment.
Now we are talking about being notified Wednesday the 27th to set up delivery appointment which means at best I can look forward to my bed arriving somewhere during the week of July 2nd. If I am so lucky as to have it in my home will be a miracle. The bed did arrive at the local delivery agent on Thursday June 21st. On Saturday afternoon I received an email that said I should be getting a call from the local agent within one business day. Ok that should be by end of day on Monday the 27th. Monday came and went Tuesday came and went. Wednesday morning I called the local agent and the woman told me she hadn't heard anything from the dispatcher but would call me within 2 hrs. She did and told me the bed would be delivered on Friday the 29th between 8 and 9. By 2:30 in the afternoon still nothing.
I call and the woman asked who I talked to that told me that. It was her but she wouldn't own up to it and told me they don't have any local deliveries scheduled until Tuesday July 3rd. Come on they have had my bed since June 21 and are now telling me that I won't receive my bed until 12 days after they received it and I live 1.5 miles down the road from them. And I was told I could not go pick it up myself. It did arrive finally in the afternoon on July 3rd and bed was in excellent condition. The condition of the bed and the Wayfair case manager I had after several complaints is the only reason this review deserves as much as 1 star. I would tell anyone to really consider what they are getting into when ordering from Wayfair. Myself I never want to deal with them or their affiliates including shippers ever again. Worst experience ever.

After carefully choosing all the items I wanted to redecorate my living room, I applied for a Wayfair credit card. After placing the order, several of the items became out of stock. When I went to order different items, the credit card was declined, even though I was well below the credit limit. The response from customer service: the initial order amount is still "pending" on the card, making the "available credit" equal zero. The pending amount won't be removed until December!! That would be 5 months I would have to wait to finish redecorating! If they don't resolve it, I'm going to attempt to return all items and cancel the credit card (I haven't assembled any of the items yet). Very disappointing!

I own rental properties that I rent to students. I've ordered several pieces of furniture from Wayfair and have been very pleased with the results. I did receive a mattress from them that was not the correct firmness, and it was no problem for them to send me out the correct one. As someone else pointed out, like everything else, you need to do your homework before you buy: verify how the furniture will fit in your home, read the reviews, etc.

They guarantee in home in room delivery on a certain day and then they tell you after you take a day off work you have to wait till the next day. Then they say it will be here Monday and on Monday then they say Tuesday. Absolutely the worst delivery system ever. The worst customer service the worst communication and on top of that the furniture is extremely cheap and shoddily made.

I ordered knobs and pulls for my newly renovated kitchen, which came to about $300.00. The bubble knobs were nice and I decided to keep them. The pulls were a weird plastic metal thing and cheap looking so I choose to return those. One big problem with Wayfair is things look great in the pics but cheap and crappy when you get them. To top it off they charge me more than a third of the selling price to return them. I feel like they lure you in with great looking items and free shipping but the quality just isn't there. I ordered a couple pieces of furniture as well and it was the same with one piece. One was awesome and the other was just chintzy. My advice, pay close attention to the descriptions. If they are vague and don't state all materials used, pass.

Just wanted to add a counter review to all the negative reviews. Disclaimer: I have no association with Wayfair whatsoever, just a regular consumer who loves to shop online. This is just my two cents... take it or leave it. I have ordered a multitude of products from Wayfair, from furniture to garden/patio items to artwork to kitchen items, etc. you name it. And whenever I have had an issue with a missing a part or something dinged in shipping, I have received full refunds/replacement or significant discounts.
Customer service has always been friendly and responsive. I'm not saying that everyone who has posted something negative here hasn't had that experience, I'm sure the Reps at Wayfair are not all equally great at their jobs, but after years of working in hospitality, I know how unreasonable people's expectations can be. They go from zero to angry in an instant. Kindness and compassion goes a long way when asking someone to help you. When you are patient and nice, people tend to go out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. Because no one is bleeding out on a table here, this is consumerism i.e. first world problems.
Also many folks don't do their homework. Whenever I plan to drop a significant chunk of money on something, I do a little research online first to see competitor pricing and if there are other reviews on other sites. I also read all the reviews available on Wayfair as well. If I find a better deal at Amazon, for example, I shop there. If I'm unsure, I simply don't buy it. If the shipping time is too long for my liking, I don't buy it. I measure everything out carefully when sizing is an issue so I'm not "surprised" that something is smaller or bigger than I imagined from just looking at a photo.
If I have an issue, I contact customer service as quickly as possible. And I understand that I get what I pay for. Expecting a $200 fake leather chair to withstand the same wear and tear as a $1000 leather chair is unreasonable. Buying expensive cabinetry without checking around with other retailers is kind of irresponsible. And in the end, if you don't like it or something is wrong with it, Wayfair will address the issue to make you whole. That's what they have always done with me.
Services from any business is a partnership between the business owner and the customer. Yes, the business owner needs to do everything they can to give you the best experience/service possible. If they don't, they will go out of business. But the customer also has a responsibility to act like a reasonable adult, do their homework, and when you have a legitimate grievance, express it with constructive criticism in phone calls and emails, not anger and vitriol towards a customer service Rep, who is a human being, just trying to do their job. The customer is NOT always right when they are not expressing themselves clearly or behaving like a jerk.

Called June 28th and was told it might arrive around July 8th. The item is heavy and upstairs in my bathroom. To return I would have to bring the parts that are there back down repackage it for return. At first thought it would be easier to get the missing part. Terrible customer service. This review is for my family who purchased a leather recliner from Wayfair that was made by Nobel House. The chair looked good but the construction was horrible inside. The side of the chair started separating and falling off when a older family member sat in it. The chair was 2 years old and old used for sitting in a family room. We called Wayfair and Wayfair automatically said contact Nobel House... no one offered any assistance and they had spent $375.
They ran us around said send pictures and never replied. We opened the chair up and at first glance the bottom pieces looked like solid wood frame. It was so not. They glue pieces of wood together leaving it hollow to try and mimic a solid piece of wood. Upholstery staples were holding things together and not any nails or screws. We tried putting in a screw and realized the wood was hollow and only really 1/8” thick.
Only a crook would construct a chair in such a manner. I wonder how many people bought this chair only to have it collapse and they fall in the floor. Don’t buy furniture from Wayfair. The cheap furniture and free shipping should tell you that matchsticks with fabric would hold better than their furniture. Bad product, horrible quality, and no accountability = Don’t buy from them.

I have ordered things like chandeliers and various remodeling items for my home. First, most of the stuff on their website is so 'picked over' the items with the best prices are always 'out of stock'. I recently ordered a light fixture with current stock. 3 days later I get the email - 'your item is out of stock'. After spending literally hours combing through the website I have decided I would pay a little more somewhere else and know when I place an order it will be filled. I don't want to waste my time only to be told "yeah pick out something else" for twice the price. I think if they advertise an item and it's IN STOCK I should get that price when it is restocked. I always read on the site - "the price may change when restocked". Sounds fishy to me.

So we use a mail service address for our Billing issues. NOBODY has ever had a problem with this. SO, I was advised to wait until my credit was issued on my card from them, and try again.
SO I wait until I have my credit, I CALL to place the order... After going thru the entire process, they then tell me that my account is Noted with "Tell customer to update address on credit card to the shipping address... Otherwise she cannot order". OKEY DOKEY. Lost my business. It's not ME who needs to change my address - It's YOU who needs to change your policy. This also means NOBODY can GIFT anybody with a mail order from them either... I'm like ok, that's not ideal but it's acceptable. I thought "at least they have decent customer service". The very next day I get an email saying it's back-ordered.
Now I have no idea when or if I'll get the table that WAS IN STOCK WHEN I ORDERED IT. And if I don't end up getting it I'll have a bunch of living room furniture that DOESN'T MATCH. :( I feel like I wasted my time and money spending with Wayfair. However, the tops of the tables had stains... what looked like someone had accidentally had turpentine on a dust rag.
Wayfair apologized and said they'd send me two more... I didn't want two more stained end tables (or a stained dresser... which hadn't been delivered yet) so I cancelled the entire order (except for the fan I had also purchased). I asked how I was to return the end tables. They said in an e-mail, "Donate them or dispose of them." Then sent an e-mail saying they were refunding $224.48 of my original $743.38. WHAT? They have still not explained why they are not refunding the entire amount... but I see that $127.73 was deducted for "return shipping" which isn't happening since they told me to throw the items away. While the e-mails I do receive are pleasant... they are unresponsive to any question I ask about the refund. Will NEVER use them to buy anything ever again. We bought this spa from Wayfair 4/21/18 Mallorca 5 person spa. The first problem we run into was that when we bought a liner for our pool from Amazon is was actually sold by Wayfair so they gave us a tracking number for the spa which turned out to be the pool liner. After numerous calls to FedEx and Wayfair we figured out they gave two items the same tracking number. The spa was not even shipped till two weeks later. We paid extra for white glove delivery, which turned out the company what was going to deliver only sends 1 driver and they don’t set it up. Which after a call to Wayfair they reimburse the amount for the white glove shipping.
Before I continue I want to say the customer service was good at Wayfair, always polite, always trying to help. But due to the item we bought it just did not work out. After we got the hot tub to our deck, had it hooked up by a licensed electrician the tub would only work on low speed. So we called Wayfair. They contacted Passion Spa. They wanted to talk to the electrician, so we had to pay again for him to come to our house and talk to Passion Spa. They told him they had the wrong wiring harness diagram on our spa, and it probably burned out the pump. They promised to send the pump before Memorial Day on Wayfair insistent to mail as soon as possible.
Pump did come till 31 May after repeated calls from Wayfair to Passion Spa. The pump arrived damaged (not packed well). This item was very heavy. We were told that they had mailed it out before but UPS contacted them saying the package got damaged in shipping and they wanted to check the pump before they would send us the SAME pump that got damaged during shipping. Again we had to pay our electrician to install this pump. This was now June 5, the hot tub spa still not working. Trying to call Passion Spa. No answer. We left several messages. They never called back. Called Wayfair again on June 5 while the electrician was still at the house. Unable to get a hold of my case manager. The spa is still not working.
Wayfair wanted to assign us another case manager. Which our case manager tried her very best, she gave us a discount and offered to pay for the cost of the electrician when he got all done. The New person I talked to stated they could send out another spa and return the one we have. There is no way we can load this spa back into a delivery truck. So after we explained the whole situation to our case manager she promised to make a few calls and then she would get back with us. We have send numerous emails. Took several pictures. At this point on June 6 we just wanted a refund.
The moral of the story is, yes we were always treated nice and polite and it did seem that they honestly tried to help. But the expensive spa still never worked. So they refunded just the original price of the spa. We were out the money for the electrician even that the spa was under 5 year warranty. They let us keep the non working spa to do with whatever and we never heard again that day June 6 from our case manager.
Let me end this with saying we had bought two other items from Wayfair without any problems. Since Wayfair did not make the spa. We don’t really blame them but it was unfortunate that they promised to pay for the electrician and after they refunded the original price, I guess they thought we can carry that bill. Lesson learned.

When I went to order more items for a spec home I was staging, my Wayfair card was denied. After some research, I discovered that I was double billed for my previous order, which was over 2K. Last spring, we decided to re-do the living room. It began with the need to replace our hulk of an entertainment center. I decided to give Wayfair a try. We chose a media center piece at a good price and with free delivery. It arrived quickly and that night we tried to put it together. The instructions were simple to follow, but one primary piece was severely damaged. I called Wayfair and they insisted on sending out another complete unit rather than just the damaged piece. The second unit had damage. They sent a third unit, which had problems with the finish. Between the three shipments, we were able to craft one complete piece.
Deciding this was a one-time issue, we ordered a smaller recliner and a set of occasional chairs from Italy. The recliner came with a broken leg. It had been, essentially, placed in a box with very little packing (nothing to protect the legs). Now a bit suspicious, I called Wayfair. They wanted to send out a replacement. Based on the shoddy construction (leg screwed into particle wood frame), we declined and they refunded our money.
The Italian chairs took 7 weeks to arrive, which we expected because they were coming from ITALY. We chose them for their solid mahogany wood, hand carved design, and lovely fabric. When they arrived, the boxes were in perfect condition. We opened them outside to make it easier to bring the chairs inside. BOTH of them had a BROKEN leg. The packing was ridiculous. Each piece had only some thin foam wrapping to "hold" them in place and some cardboard leg protection taped onto each leg. The lack of structured packing to isolate the chairs from shipping meant that they could move inside the box, subjecting them to the bumps and drops of what included an overseas shipping process.
We called Wayfair, heartbroken. They offered to send replacements, but by this point, we had lost all confidence. We had them refund our money. Any time a Wayfair commercial comes on, we chant back to their jingle "Wayfair is just what I need." Yes, if what you need is broken furniture. One positive note: We ordered a lovely cat perch for the living room (wood with a fabric covered top). It arrived undamaged. We will NEVER order from Wayfair again.

The description is completely incorrect and false advertising. I would have never spent over $1000 on a vanity that wasn't solid wood. The same product can be purchased at another retailer for $200. If you are looking for a bathroom vanity that is solid wood and is going to resist moisture then this is NOT the one to buy. After my review posted Wayfair changed the product details saying that the vanity base is made from manufactured wood when in fact the ENTIRE vanity is made from manufactured wood. I would encourage other shoppers NOT to use Wayfair for purchasing furniture. They do have a great product range and their customer service people are well trained. However, I think they use unfair practices when dealing with customers. I have ordered through them 2 items and made payment via their website but then they told me after payment had been taken that they need authorization from my bank in order to process the order. This happened to me a few times. I spoke to their customer services based in Ireland and apparently they do this for about 10% of their customers, apparently for security reasons. I asked them why they didn't do the bank authorization as part of online transaction like all other big retailers and they didn't provide a clear answer. This is standard capability for online transactions and there is no reason why Wayfair shouldn't do the same which is fairer and more straightforward for customers.
Basically this practice allows Wayfair to take the money from your account and then delay processing your order which improves their working capital. On one item I ordered (which I had problems with over their authorisation process), they told me 2 weeks after I had ordered that the item was out of stock. Essentially they sat on my payment for 10 days before informing me the item had gone out of stock.
Whenever I have ordered from Wayfair delivery timings are delayed versus the original schedule. While the customer services team are pleasant to deal with, the Wayfair systems are designed to take your payment as quickly as possible and delay processing your order as long as possible so they can pay their suppliers as slowly as possible. I wrote to Wayfair and spoke to their management team. They may claim this is not standard practice but it is. I would avoid using this company as it is not transparent or fair with customers. I also had an issue with the way the item was delivered and the delivery men (which they sub-contract to low paid delivery workers) were not pleasant to deal with.

After 20 days of waiting for a delivery, with an initial promise date of <9 days I eventually was forced to cancel my order. As orders are through 3rd party retailers, using 3rd party delivery companies, the order tracking is useless, and the Wayfair staff (nice as they are) have no immediate information to hand, and no influence on your delivery. I will never order from them again, and recommend others not to either. I also recommend the nice staff to get a job elsewhere!

I will never buy from Wayfair again. I bought a 10 piece patio set, paid an extra $100 for full assembly and box take away. They arrived later than their scheduled window then said they didn't have time to do assembly so weren't going to do it. Didn't I pay for this service? I have had far better service from other companies that don't mess up their deliveries this way. I will never buy from Wayfair again and if I could give negative stars I could. The customer service agent who called was extremely unhelpful and hung up on me.

I bought a patio set from Wayfair. After browsing a couple hours later I found a different set I wanted to order instead. I looked to see if their cancellation policy would allow this. I would have been fine if they had a no refund policy, but it states that you can cancel items if they haven't already shipped. My order wasn't supposed to ship for another week. I submitted my cancellation about 10 hours after my initial purchase and I received an email saying they received my request and someone would get back to me to confirm whether or not it was possible. I thought that was odd because I'm guessing it's all processed by computers and it should be easy for their system to tell whether a product has shipped yet and whether a cancellation is possible.
A full 24 hours later I receive an email saying, "Wow, it's so great. Your furniture shipped much earlier than expected!" Oh and because they were just so fast in their shipping the cancellation cannot be honored. So if you want your furniture to ship faster it seems like they will gladly expedite your shipping if they want to avoid cancelling the order. Now hopefully I'm able to catch the pickup guy to return this giant box of furniture from my entryway. Instead of scheduling a pickup time they say they will send someone to try to catch you 3 times. No time frames, estimated window, scheduling... They better catch me because I can't even move the box out to the entryway. It's too heavy and giant.

I ordered a credenza desk and writing desk for $1800. I ordered it so it would come in on time. I am going to be a home based agent for a National Company and need the products I ORDERED. I have the writing desk but not the credenza. It was suppose to be 5/15/18 it would be delivers. It is now 5/18/18 and their customer service could only tell me that they can't help because of the shipper. What kind of service is this. This is crap.

I ordered a sectional (open box) for less than half the original price. I called first to confirm, as it seemed low to me, even for open box. I was told by the rep that it was correct - she even confirmed with a supervisor that it was indeed for the sectional, no other product in that particular set (and there isn't anything else anyway, aside from a chair and an ottoman). It arrived 3 WEEKS later (ridiculous) and in the meantime we had gotten rid of our old living room furniture. From there it really went downhill.
Delivery guys called me 20 min before arriving (was told we would receive a 24 hour notice). And it was 8:30 pm. Who delivers that late? Seemed sketchy. Only half the sectional was on the truck. Asked where the other half was. They had no clue. Couldn't even tell me if that was indeed half the sectional or a couch (covered with plastic). Wouldn't open it or I had to accept the delivery. Seriously? Called Wayfair on the delivery guy's cell. Rep checked and no, there was no second delivery scheduled. And by the way, that item is discontinued. She got my info and rushed off, as her shift was ending. Again, seriously? Called 2x more this week to demand that I get comped for my time, poor experience, and the fact that I now had no furniture due to them. I checked the website today. It was still there - with 'NEW' plastered across the top. Thought it was discontinued?
Supervisor offered me 20% off the full price. I refused and told her I would never buy from them again and I would file a complaint with the state. Which I will, for misleading business practices. This was my first and definitely last experience with Wayfair. There's something borderline ethical about their business ops. Don't get sucked in by the cheap prices - you pay for it in time, aggravation, and poor service.

First time buying on Wayfair... probably last. Got myself a 5 pieces patio set but only got the table, they didn't know where the 4 chairs went so I waited 2 weeks for them. When they got here, only one man was working so I had to help him with the heavy box, I open the box and the 4 chairs had bended feet, looking at the box you could easily see what happen. They were not protected at all in that box. Very disappointed and I will not use this store anymore because it was VERY LONG to get the issue settle when I called and they simply didn't seem to care about their customers. I tried, but won't be fool again!

My first experience with this company will certainly be my last. I ordered 2 chairs at a specific sale price. The items were delivered. I received an invoice with the items, but without, the price listed. I received an e-mail notification. I received my bill, 37 days later, listing the regular price for the chairs, plus no 20% discount for 1st time order, as was promised. When I called to dispute, I was told no such record could be found, but they could give me a 10% discount on a future order. Well, no thank you. I will never do business with a company who practices bait & switch tactics.
