Purchased from Wayfair based on their (expensive, but I hoped worthwhile) assembly option. Furniture arrived several weeks after shipping/delivery date (as with other reviews). Furniture was dropped off and NOT assembled. The excuses are “takes too long for our delivery agent to assemble” and “our delivery people do not have liability insurance for assembly”. Really?? Wayfair knew these products and parameters before delivery. Wayfair misrepresented their products and services.

Three complaints about Wayfair so far.
1) Once you visit their website they will suffocate you with ads on every website you visit for the next month. I bought a desk over a month ago, but every other site I go to is still advertising that desk at me.
2) They clearly exaggerate their regular prices in order to lie about sales. If you sort their sales by greatest discount you see lamps 90% off of their regular price of over $3000. Who the hell believes their lamps are regularly over $3000? Therefore you can't trust any of their "sales". Pretty sure that is false advertising and illegal.
3) I ordered a stand-up desk over a month ago. It arrived with a defective leg. I still don't have a stand-up desk, or an apology, or any other kind of remuneration for the inconvenience. The new leg was supposed to arrive 10 days ago.

I purchased rug and the color was totally different. They did not let me write the review about it so for the other client to know what to expect. My review was deleted 2 times. They only keep the good reviews. Shame.

I ordered a large standing floor mirror and it arrived broken. It was very large and heavy & when I asked Wayfair to have FedEx pick it back up they said FedEx won't pick up broken glass (even though they delivered it to me broken). Wayfair tried to tell me to deal with disposing of it on my own (at my own expense). I called again and pushed back and the next person I talked to said that they would have another service (other than FedEx - NSD) call me for pick up. Hurray! Except the next day a third Wayfair agent contacted me and told me that that person was mistaken and I had to dispose of it myself. I pushed back again and she finally told me that another service can come pick it up (the same one the second guy tried to set me up with before she interfered).
Because of their prolonged efforts to dump the disposal on me I had that huge broken mirror on the floor of my small living room for a month. When the very nice driver of NSD picked it up (btw I had to leave work to come home to sign for them to take it) he said they should have just contacted NSD right away in the first place b/c FedEx hires them to collect items that FedEx has delivered that are broken. Wayfair knew this the entire time but they obviously try to save money by dumping that task onto buyers whenever they can get away with it. I won't purchase anything from this company again after experiencing how they act in bad faith toward their customers.

This is the first time to write feedback for the company. This morning (06/03/19) I had an issue with the mattress and I wanted to return it, I called Wayfair customer service Jennifer helped me a lot and she spoke clearly, she clarified everything easily and she fixed my problem. I'd like to say thank you for Jennifer ** and Wayfair.

We accidentally entered partial information for the business account and there's no way to stop the customer service from calling us every single day. Crazy people! We didn't buy anything from the business account and what we bought was at original price. We told the customer service that if they kept calling us every day we would cancel every order with Wayfair, but they are still calling us now. These people really don't make any sense in doing their business. They won't respect customers' review at all.

I ordered multiple items that stated they would arrive within a couple of days and most items took weeks. Also one item arrived nothing like the item I ordered and they wouldn't collect it. The biggest item I ordered took a month to arrive despite website stating couple of days. A real hassle from start to finish and I would never use this company again. This is my first ever online negative review but I felt others should know.

I was supposed to receive this order on May 24th. I called customer service 2 times. One when it did not come one the 24th and then the following week when there was still no updated information. The item is now on sale showing that it will be delivered by June 24th. I still do not have any updated information on my item.

Prior to checking out your order, Wayfair tells the customer that they "will receive the product by X date". It isnt until you submit your order and pay that they then say that X is only an "estimated shipping date". I purchased a $500 fire pit that said delivery would be May 31. Then it changed to June 3rd. Problem - I needed the fire pit for a party on June 1. So I had to go purchase another one.
Wayfair refused to admit their error, and refused to accept a return. They only gave me a 20% refund. So now I have 2 fire pits and spent over $1,000! To prove my point again to wayfair, I placed another (small) order and sent them screenshots to prove that they are saying X shipping date then changing it to Y. I'm never shopping there again. I do not have this problem with Amazon and will stay with them.

Wayfair’s customer service is second to none. They did everything possible to make my purchase satisfying. I will always feel confident shopping with Wayfair. In my opinion they are the best. If you want great customer service shop at Wayfair.

Bought 6 lounge chairs for outdoors and they have rusted after two seasons. I even stored them indoors during the winter. One chair in particular just broke in half and collapsed. Wayfair was unreachable by chat, email or phone to resolve this problem. I would not recommend Wayfair to anyone at this point. Cheap products, poor customer service and no warranty.

I ordered a window sill planter May 24. Last info I got from Wayfair is the delivery date is June 17. I probably took regular shipping but still that is a long time for delivery. Looks like they need to increase staff??

Ordered a faux leather couch. It was fine as far as ordering and delivery after. When I opened the packaging I found that the legs and cushions were missing. Called Wayfair after 20 minutes after delivery to state that I was missing the legs and cushions. Although very nice customer service they just kept telling me to check the bottom of couch which I had already did but I did double check had my husband check also. I was rerouted to a customer specialist who stated she was going to solve my issue and would contact company to have the pieces sent.
I was surprised when she contacted me the next day as if I am not telling the truth or I'm too stupid to realize that the attachments were under the couch to ask me to double check. Very upset with the way it has been handle. As a she has not returned my email I have no idea where I stand. Had the couch delivered on Thursday. Had company coming on Saturday and we did not have enough seating. Very disappointing with this company. Did not offer to help me in any way.

My wife ordered a piece of furniture. It is supposed to be delivered today. Tracking was last updated 5 days ago. No idea if it will actually arrive today, so we called during business hours. The recording advises to call during business hours. If the purchase were on my card I would send in a dispute notice to my credit card issuer but it isn’t. Sorry but I am totally unimpressed with Wayfair.

About two years ago, I purchased a bed for myself and a bed for my son on Wayfair. I bought platform bed for us both. When my son’s arrived, it was clear that it was not an actual platform bed. It only had 4 slats across. My son ended up sleeping on it and it broke within one year. Now, mine is literally falling apart. The whole frame is busting and I’m afraid to sleep on it. I paid almost $1,000 for the two beds and within two years, they are both broken? Don’t waste your money at Wayfair. Lesson learned - now I’m only buying major furniture pieces at an actual reputable furniture store.

I applied for a Wayfair credit card and have good credit and they asked for a utility bill, SS and ID and weeks later never approved or declined my application. It's shady to ask those type of request. I have new credit that why I abided, however you live and learn.

My recent experience with Wayfair/Perigold for a $2k bed is a nightmare entirely: the original set came with defects so I requested for replacement of some parts; the following replacement appointments (5 of them) were all failures as the replacement parts were either missing or not carried; I finally argued for a replacement of the entire bed, for which I waited another two months as it was back-ordered, and you know what, they did not have the COI ready and the driver refused to deliver even though my building manager is nice to let them in. After all these, I gave up and would not do business with Wayfair any more. The most ridiculous thing is every time you call, you are greeted by a "manager", who has no capability or not in the position to resolve an issue. You will have to call another hundred times before you can reach someone who can really do something. So, stay away...

I was disgusted to find that Wayfair sells bath mats, shower curtains, duvet covers etc with the images of Hindu gods. As a Hindu I am mortified and I have decided not to buy another product from this company until they remove all the objectionable merchandise and apologize.

I ordered a piece of furniture for my kitchen. (Am waiting as we speak for someone to come assemble it.) I will never order anything that size from Wayfair again, however because they left the huge, heavy box in my apartment building's lobby. Despite the box having a picture showing two people and labeled "team lift" I was left to fend for myself with it. I am a small woman of 69. I had to enlist the help of the small young female security guard and between the two of us we barely were able to scoot it along the floor, into the elevator, and down the hall to my apartment. They should provide delivery to your door in the city. I tried to contact someone through the website but there is no email portal and their phone was out of order. More to come re the setup.

I ordered bedding for my daughter and clicked to place order For $100.13, but Wayfair charged me $111.26. The service department consultant was incredibly rude and blamed me for the mix up. I told her that I had never had it happen before, and I shop online frequently. She said that it was my problem.

I received the lamp hanging in a box whose packaging was inadequate. Since it is a very fragile item, there should be good protection. The lamp was crushed, the welds were unfastened and the structure was all crooked. At $300 a lamp is shameful. Really disappointed.

The three items I bought at Wayfair, a small side table, a bookcase, and a barstool, have turned out to be of very poor quality, and one even came with a warning sticker about chemicals used in its production that are cancer-causing! Seriously!?!? It cost so much to return the items that I'll have to get rid of them some other way - but I will NOT be ordering from Wayfair again. The products are so cheaply made. I'm embarrassed to have them in my house, and my house is not fancy. I'm very, very disappointed.

I chose just one fantastic item I’ve gotten recently (it’s the most beautiful Turkish rug I’ve ever seen), but I think Wayfair is the best online store, period. This is a long review with lots of anecdotes, but I’m taking the time because I love Wayfair that much. In the last 12 months I’ve placed 18 or 20 orders, and ALL have been positive experiences (ordering, delivery time, the item itself). The selection and prices are fantastic! Of course many things are out of my price range, but I just wait till a sale, and they have a lot of those. And if I can’t order a $2000 couch I love, I like that Wayfair shows you similar items that you might not find easily on your own (because their inventory is immense). And don’t think of Wayfair as just a “home furnishings store.” All three of our best cat trees and best cat carrier came from Wayfair. Their pet selection is phenomenal! Actually, I think Wayfair has just about everything except for clothes.
If I’ve had a question (dozen or so times) or a problem (so rare!), when I emailed or called customer service, I got someone who was professional, helpful, and charming. Questions are answered quickly, and my one problem was fixed ASAP. I’m a bit mystified when I see some of the negative comments about customer service, because each person I’ve had an exchange with online, via email, or the phone has been super nice.
We just bought our first home, and Wayfair is where I’m going for all our furnishing & decorating needs. In the last few months I’ve gotten 3 incredible rugs, a velvet sofa, a cool framed artsy print, an upholstered platform bed, two dining room chairs, a chic serpentine wall ramp for our cats (looks more like art than a cat perch), and just yesterday I ordered a slew of curtains and a mattress. (They offer a 100 Night Trial, so I decided why not?) And believe me, their mattress prices are a 100 times better than the other trendy online mattress purveyors.
I got a 12” Queen with pillow-top, cooling tech, and memory foam for around $370. And if it’s not as comfy as we want & need, I know returning & exchanging it will be a breeze. Every purchase has met or exceeded my expectations in quality, appearance, price, and ease of ordering experience. Nine out of nine times just since March (and I bet 15 of 15 once curtains & mattress arrive). It doesn’t seem statistically possible, but it’s happened! Wayfair is a wonderful business.
BTW, I was invited to their Tried & True program about 5 months ago, so I’ve gotten more items than I’d normally purchase, but I guess I got the invite because I was a good customer. My review is positive because it’s a wonderful business. And if anything, being in the program means that I’ve had a lot more experience choosing from a rich inventory, dealing with shipping, assembling some furniture, etc. Last thing. I used to live in L.A. but now live in a very small university town (non-student population is 10,000). The nearest big shopping center is in Spokane, 70 miles away. Wayfair brings the limitless shopping opportunities of L.A. literally to my doorstep! Without Wayfair, all I’d have is, well, let’s call it S-Mart like in the fictional ‘Evil Dead’ movies. If you had a negative experience, give them another chance. And if you haven’t tried Wayfair yet, please do. I think you’ll be as happy with everything as I’ve been.

Literally the worst service I’ve experience in a long time. I would never recommend anybody to this company, I order my table and sent it to my job location. I notice I did this and wrote in the note section that I would tip and that I needed the address Change to another location that was only 4 miles down the road. I received the confirmation saying it was at the warehouse so I called to make sure they got the address change. One employee act like he was typing it in but clearly he didn’t. It still was sent to my job. They wouldn’t agree to bring it to me so I told them to drop it off there. 10 mins later I get there and the driver was already gone... Terrible terrible terrible service and a waste of time. Don’t buy here.

I discovered a charge from Wayfair on my debit card. I never purchased anything from Wayfair. I contacted Scott and customer service who was very nice and connected me with the accounts Department. After spending 45 minutes on the phone with them given them details about myself in my transaction they discovered that somebody in California had purchased something from my card. I live in Massachusetts. They told me they would take care of this and I would have a refund in my bank in 2 or 3 days and to hold off contact in my bank as this would make a delay in their deposit to my bank.
I contacted customer service again and was told they have no history of my call from a week ago and that is not the policy to return money and that I need to go through my bank. I tried calling Scott back in customer service and now he will not answer my phone calls. Not only was I ripped off by someone in California using my debit card but I was also ripped off by Wayfair. And from reading a lot of the reviews on this page Wayfair has big issues in their payment Department. I have never bought anything from Wayfair and certainly now have no intentions of ever buying anything from Wayfair.

We had a bathroom remodel and ordered a vanity off of Wayfair on 5/3 with a delivery date of 5/13. Remodel is going well but no vanity as of 5/15. I tried to give some leeway for problems with delivery and such so I called on 5/16. Was assured delivery company had my product and they would be calling that day or the following to schedule delivery. Come Friday at 4PM I called Wayfair again only to be told the person I had talked to the previous day was "mistaken" and that my package was in the process of being shipped with a new delivery window of 5/23!!!! When I addressed my concerns I only got generic responses of "We are so sorry" and "Nothing can be done." Indefinably wont be using their business again in the future and will be contacting the credit card company if they continue to lie about the delivery of an item that has already been paid.

Late at night I was shopping for furniture to buy as we were moving in 2 weeks. I selected some items but then realized I needed more things. I started a new list and accidentally selected buy now and was taken to PayPal and went through the whole process not noticing that they had the wrong address for delivery. I never saw an option for a different delivery address. I was able to cancel the first order but minutes later I wasn’t allowed to cancel the second order with the wrong address. I tried to cancel for the next hours and next day they said it had already gone to shipping. I told them it was the wrong address and they said it would have to be returned to their warehouse before I could get a refund.
It has now been over a week and they keep passing it from one department to another and “everyone is working very hard to solve this so I can get a refund." Now I called again today and asked if I could use my credit (that I still didn’t get) as partial payment for the new order I was going to place, but they said “no”. I would have to wait for the credit to appear before I could use it. Does this seem like a good business to you? I would be a fool to order anything from them again!

This is my second major purchase from Wayfair for outdoor furniture. The first time was an outdoor sectional and it took 2 months to be delivered. The second time was a fire pit and it's not here after 2 wks. They really don't know where it is and I paid extra money to have it shipped faster. They really need to work on their shipping practices. Free shipping simply isn't worth this!

I was looking for curtains on Google and an ad for Wayfair.ca popped up. Visited their website and found the blackout in the colour I wanted. I was surprised to see how many different sizes were available and found a size that matched my windows perfectly. Being impressed I searched for a rug for my bedroom. Also found a nice looking rug. Over a thousand reviews, video recordings of the rug and photos with zoom in feature, makes me feel good about my purchase. The cart and checkout procedure worked perfectly, and I liked the option to sign in with my Google account. The information is great, and now I hope that the product will live up to the great shopping experience. Can't wait - arrival date is on Wednesday. :-)

I order a King Mattress in February 2019, it came with two new box springs, I received the Mattress on time but it is now May 10th 2019 and I have still not received the Box Spings and have been sleeping on just a Mattress for 4 Months now.. I've spoke to Multiple people who said it shipped to their shipper then it got shipped back to the Factory, now they are shipping it back again. I've yet to receive it.. DO NOT BUY HERE UNLESS YOU ONLY WANT PROBLEMS AND WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF..!!

I received my mattress 1/4/2018 and it's 5/8/2018. I can feel the coils thru the memory foam. I contacted Wayfair, they send me thru a bunch of transfers and then tell me to contact the manufacture. I contact Serta/Simmons. They tell me that Wayfair is suppose to handle the claim. I now have a mattress that has a 10 yr warranty but no one wants to take responsibility.

I ordered and grill and paid for assembly. An appointment was set up to have the grill assembled. The appointment was cancelled 2 hours prior to the scheduled time. They rescheduled and did it again. All of this two weeks after I got the grill. I finally requested a refund of my assembly money and unhappily did it myself. I requested a partial refund on the grill and was told they would schedule another appointment with the company that already rescheduled twice on short notice and ignored my refund request.

I recently contacted Wayfair about questions concerning my recliner. I spoke with Jessica **. The kindness and patience she took with me was amazing. She not only answered all of my questions, but also offered a host of alternative solutions to my problem. I would highly recommend Wayfair for anything. From the prompt shipping to the outstanding customer service, Wayfair backs up their products 110%. It is so refreshing to deal with a company that still puts customer satisfaction first. The desk came broken. Called immediately for a replacement part, has been 13 days and still have not received it. I wrote a bad review on the product on their webpage and they won't post it, it has no bad language. Customer service is the worse, they just say sorry but do NOTHING about it!

My wife was wanting a pool lounge for Mother's Day. I found one for her that she wanted. I called to make sure it was available since it was a sale item and I needed it in a timely manner and needed to make sure it would be here. They said they had it and would ship that day, which was great. 5 days later it hadn't come like they said. So I called to only be inform they didn't have it to ship so they never shipped it and didn't let me know so I could shop elsewhere. So now I have to rush and pay extra to get one in before Mother's Day. And all they could say was sorry for the inconvenience. Will never use them again.

They truly are customer oriented. I had an issue with one the order, they did not give me a single but about my request. They truly want you to be satisfied and I guess more importantly go back to them which I will defiantly do. Do note if you do buy the cheapest thing you're going to get "ehh" quality things but for mid-high range you won't be disappointed.

Purchased a flame table at a discount price and the company provided a shipping date almost 60 days in the future. I accepted that date because the sale price was good. Now, two days from ship date, I check my order status and it has been cancelled. The unhelpful supervisor I spoke with via phone support gave a barely understandable reason for the cancellation.
She did however suggest she could offer me another product at a substantially higher price, but would take 10% off the retail price for my troubles. She had no idea why it has taken almost two months for notification to be made, stating an email had been sent yesterday (apparently a lie as no email has been received more than 24 hours later, checked spam folder.) I’ve missed out on other flame tables that I liked better that were on sale, because this order was already placed. I won’t make that mistake again. Best advice, don’t order from Wayfair.

Let me start by saying. Wayfair is awesome, great, impeccable service. If you have an issue they will resolve it go above and beyond. They use a 3rd party company furniture but they will make sure you are happy. I had an issue with my furniture I had going on 2 years and paid a pretty penny for it. The furniture has all the bells and whistles lights in cup holder, charger port, electric recliner. All stopped working after a year... that’s how long the manufacturer's warranty it for “Coaster Fine Furniture“. Wayfair gave me their number to reach out to see if they could possibly help me get it fixed. Reached out to them. Well let’s just say I am a proud owner of furniture that does not recline or charge or light up. Wayfair on the other hand is, has done everything right. Thank you Wayfair. Please if you are afraid to order furniture online go through Wayfair. They will take care of you.

I ordered a patio furniture set 2 weeks ago from a friendly “live” representative that was very good. She promptly sent me an email with a confirmation number. A week later I had not heard a word nor received any emails regarding delivery. I called back to inquire. The same friendly gal called back and left a message saying she’d be out for 4 days but would call on Monday. No call on Monday.
I called back Wednesday ... exactly 2 weeks after order was placed. She promptly called me back to inform me the ordered had been canceled because the address did not match the CC address per the bank ... and fraud was suspected. She said they emailed and called countless times to inform me. I did not receive any emails or calls — nor a call from my bank related to suspected fraud.
The customer experience was poor on my end. Did they make a mistake on the email? Did they call me? Who knows. If product resembles their customer service process and outreach I would not want their product. The friendly gal asked if I wanted to try to place the order again... I said NO! They may be really inexpensive but there is a reason for that. I will buy local and or from well known suppliers and not one that is challenged with the basic client communication piece! Gosh knows what I would have been faced with if there was a problem with the product. Over and out.

Hi. I purchased a grill from Wayfair early on morning that was on sale, later that evening that just canceled the order. I reached out to them saying that I lost on purchasing other grills that were on sale and if there was really an issue with the order they should've reached out to me right away. The woman on the phone although nice was not particularly helpful. Just repeating a standard robot answer. So in short if you don't really need the item then you can take a risk and try getting it on Wayfair, but if you really need it don't take the risk.

I wish I could give negative 5 stars! I feel this company is a big scam for its false advertising and its bait and switch tactics. So we purchased a bbq for our school and received an email confirming the purchase and that delivery will be made shortly. Then like a classic bait and switch false ad they send me an email stating that they will not honor my purchase and will give an opportunity to buy something more expensive. What a scam!!! Stay away from this company. Scam scam scam!!!

Simply put, I made a mistake and ordered the wrong rug on a Sunday. I immediately noticed the mistake and frantically searched for a way to cancel. They only offer two reasons for cancel, neither of which were accurate for my case. In any case, I selected the reason "No longer need the item.". I also provided a brief description that I wanted to cancel. This was LESS THAN TWENTY MINUTES after ordering. I then still felt uneasy and called customer service. The woman I got said that unfortunately once a consumer places an order, no matter what, they have no way of cancelling the order. Say what?? Aren't we in 2019?? Shouldn't this be a given for ANY company that specializes in shipping and online delivery????
In any case, I got an email the next day saying they couldn't process my cancellation and the rug was on its way. I sent them an email stating that I was contesting with my credit card company to which I got a response saying that in this case they would apparently bend their rules and let me cancel. While I'm thankful for that, threatening to go to a credit card company should be a last resort. They also stated that in the future to know that no cancellations will be allowed without a penalty and mistakes will be penalized with a fee. For that reason, I am writing this review as this seems fraught with fraud to me.

I liked the design of this sideboard and thought the odor inside the sideboard was temporary. For weeks I put trays of baking soda inside, then tried dryer sheets. Nothing eliminates the odor!!! I don't know what to do next. Am trying to get help from the company but to no avail so far. Wish I had never ordered this sideboard from Wayfair.

They charge people 35-47 dollars a month to pay a third party bill. They charge finance and third party billing fees. I've been paying them 100 dollars a month and only 20 dollars of that comes off my bill. This is not fair. One bit! We work hard for our money and to charge people that amount is unheard of.

Do not buy anything from Wayfair, All Modern, Joss and Main, or any other company that is affiliated with Wayfair. Each time I have made a purchase from this horrible company they sent me the wrong item. I ordered a Marilyn Monroe picture, they sent me a sunflower. I ordered a beige area rug, they send me a gray one. And they keep wanting to send me a gray rug. I hope I get my money back. If I don't, I will have to take other steps.

I have purchased a iron bed and a sofa/loveseat combo and they were both at great prices. The sofa/loveseat is kind of hard to sit on for long periods of time, so I guess I don't have to worry about it getting "butt" dents. Also putting the furniture together was pretty easy.

I was so shocked to read that there are bad reviews for this company! This was my first time using Wayfair. I ordered the wrong size bed and it had already shipped by the time I realized it. I called the day before it was to be delivered, expecting the call to result in anguish but it was the complete opposite! It is rare now days to have such a pleasant customer experience especially doing a return. Companies just don't treat you very nice when you want to reverse a purchase. Conley was pleasant from start to finish and he resolved my issue with the just 1 phone call. He called FedEx and had the order re-routed. I am extremely happy and I can't wait until my refund is processed so that I can reorder the correct bed frame. I am happy to spread the word to everyone I know about the amazing experience. I highly recommend Wayfair! I'll be looking to write a Google and Yelp review. Awesome!!!

I bought a tv console that had 20 good reviews on it. It had gone on sale but did not reflect the sale price on the item link saved in my cart or my favorites. I had to search for consoles in grey wash to find it. They create new listings for sale items. It was common for me to find two or three listings for the same item. In addition I found dining sets cheaper to buy by the piece (table and chairs separate) than it was to buy in a set. Anyways, this tv stand we put it together and it is not sturdy at all. Pushing it across the carpet 6 inches caused to to fall apart. All made of particle board. The box lifting the furniture up caved.

Okay so I was sooooo wary to purchase from Wayfair because of the terrible reviews online everywhere, but I decided to chance it because they had a coffee table I was in love with at a really good price. I winded up spending about $300 on a lifttop coffee table, a Keriug coffee pod holder, and a set of sheets. Boy, was I surprised. Everything shipped with 3 days, and delivered within a week. It was delivered right to my front door, all packaged nice and tight. First, the coffee pod holder, not hard to mess that up, so it was perfect and exactly as described. Second, the sheets. They fit perfectly and truly feel amazing, even my boyfriend (who doesn’t know a thing about thread counts) said he could feel a difference from our other lower-quality sheets.
My only issue with the sheets (and my only issue with my Wayfair purchase at all) was that the sheets did have a weird smell to them when I first opened the package. However, this was fixed with one wash (and everyone should be washing new sheets before they put them on their bed for the first time anyways). Smell is gone and I’m still happy.
Lastly, for my main purchase: the coffee table. I am in love!!!! It is perfect. Exactly as described. I am extremely pleased with the wood quality, especially at the price. It did take some time and dedication to put together, because there are a lot of steps and pieces, but the instructions were super easy to follow. I’ll wrap up this review to say, please give Wayfair a chance. I never write reviews, but I knew I had to give Wayfair the credit they deserved. I saw their 1-2 star rating everywhere and almost didn’t order anything, but I’m so glad I gave them a shot. I will definitely be buying from them again! Happy shopping everyone!

Ordered 2 freestanding bathroom cabinets. The first one went together easily but the second, identical to the first has been manufactured wrongly and cannot be assembled. We also ordered an ottoman, which when I opened the box found the wood had split where a screw had been inserted during manufacturing. Of course this isn't Wayfair's fault but I do feel that Wayfair are selling cheap rubbish at inflated prices due to other furniture we've bought from them being cheap imported chipboard construction but advertised as quality items. We are still waiting for our dresser to arrive which has been delayed twice from original shipping date given at time of order. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere.

I recently purchased four mirrors from Wayfair. Two of the four mirrors we broken when they arrived. The way they were packed, I’m surprised they weren’t all broken. I contacted Wayfair and they didn’t have the mirrors I ordered at the price but had some that were more money. I was charged extra for the new mirrors and told that I couldn’t get them for a week. I’m in the middle of building a house and this has slowed up my progress. This could have been not an issue had Wayfair’s shipping department properly packed my item. I feel that the burden has been put on the customer. I will not order from Wayfair again!

It looked like it was a return and had been sitting, unboxed, in a poorly maintained warehouse. And I have pictures of all of this! I went to the website to submit a return. It told me that I would have to pay more than $34 for return shipping, No way! So I started an online chat with them, and sent them my pictures. I must say they did do right by my in the end. They immediately refunded all my money and told me to dispose of the item however I wanted. I didn't have to send it back. I will donate it to a local recycling store.

So I bought two leather picture frames ???? that were beautiful. I had them shipped to my Sister so she could make some very special pictures for me and she sent me back videos of how both frames were completely damaged. They canceled a $1500 order I placed without notifying or trying to contact me. When I order I received confirmation on their website and then an email confirmation. Two days after the date of when it should have reached their distribution center, I just checked my status on the App and my order was canceled. No explanation or email notification. I called and they told me they canceled it. No further explanation. I am now trying to work with my Credit Company to check when and if I have received a credit when they canceled the order. Terrible. I’ve deleted my account for both Wayfair and Joss & Main. Never again.

After placing an order for 3 metal home address signs, I realized that I had given the wrong digit for one of the 3. I called 12 hours later and was informed that the order was already being processed and could not be changed, even though shipment was a week or so out. I later received notice that my “delayed” order could now be expected 2-3 weeks from order date, even though it could not be changed 12 hours after placing order. Order now cannot be stopped but can be returned? I will not return as I fear I would never receive any credit then be further in the hole. Maybe my neighbor will like his new sign since it will have his address instead of mine. Goodbye Wayfair.

Ordered a sofa and loveseat during their special 36 hour sale. Well apparently they just list any old prices and then a day or two later tell you sorry, they listed the incorrect prices. I had bought a rug and paint to match my anticipated new furniture. By the time they emailed me cancelling my order, their sale was over and they wouldn’t honor their sale prices or find me anything comparable. Basically, they very happily told me they don’t care and there was nothing they would do for me. I told them that a company this large would normally honor their own prices and mistakes but they don’t care. I will not use them again and I encourage others to skip over this company and to use someone reputable. We need a class action suit against them because they do this often.

First off, I don't really consider Wayfair a furniture company. Yes, I buy inexpensive pieces from them because I have a Belgian Malinois who can do incredible damage to furniture. To make it short my shopping at a Huffman Koos days are over! What are my preferences in furniture? Let's say, Broyhill, Henredon and Selig. You don't find much of this quality furniture in Florida unless I go to Miami or Tampa. You don't find many refined taste furnishings in the South unless you go to an antique or consignment shop. What can I say we have a much more refined and varied taste back home in NYC!

I have extensively exchanged correspondence with Wayfair regarding the lack of transparency and clarity in their online website advertised prices and the sudden changes once you accept buying an item online. For privacy I will not share the correspondence, however my advice is to make sure that the first price you see from specific merchandise does not go up once you accept the purchase. Other than that they have good quality merchandise. It is just a shame that either unintentionally or intentionally they have what looks like a bait and overcharge glitch. I simply will not shop online with them anymore.

So I'm going to be completely transparent about my experience in high hopes that nobody else will go through what I've been through thanks to this company. In late June of last year, I placed an order through their app that you can download via phone. I picked out a few quality looking items and then went to hit the purchase button. It was late. I was tired. It didn't go through but it didn't deny the payment (but I didn't know this yet). I hit the button out of frustration a couple more times and then went to sleep. When I woke up, I tried once again as I lived in Rexburg Idaho at the time and needed these items because nothing home goods related was available to be shopped at out where I was located.
Well, shame on me, I hit the stupid purchase button one more time. Only - this time it went through and so did all my other previous purchases (even though I had closed the app and everything). It charged me for several different orders. Hundreds of dollars that I did not have. I had to wait as they were closed on the weekends but promptly called first thing Monday. Went through customer service, was told I'd be assisted and these things refunded, that nothing should have shipped, and it would be taken care of.
Less than 24 hours later - EVERYTHING had been shipped. They couldn't cancel and now they wanted me to be in charge of returning all of these items. So I waited. The packages didn't come in the time they said they would and when they finally did - my neighbor had grabbed them for me as I was out of town. She went to training for military purposes and my packages sat in her apartment with me unaware. The whole time I asked for proof of delivery as they guaranteed me that things had been delivered. My thought was, how could you not have someone sign for nearly a thousand dollars worth of bought material from your site.
I took it to my bank, tried to stop the payments AS WAYFAIR HAD DIRECTED ME TO DO, they refused my claims and after weeks of battling that out won the case and kept my money. I called again once my friend came back and told me she had these things and finally received word that they had known my friend had taken these things for me. I was livid as they didn't express this through the process. Again I thought I spoke to the right person. He swore he'd call me back, that this matter was personal to his heart, and promised me we'd handle it as soon as everything was received. I've yet to be refunded for the money they stole and I've yet to see anything come back into my account. These people are dishonest crooks and will play everything out to their advantage.
All around it was horrible timing on my part but this company is a joke. Those things I bought were not worth their money and I regret ever having downloaded the app. I keep it as a reminder - since my orders and the numbers of those orders are still on there. I show that to my friends and family to show the hell they put me through. Things say 'returned' that were never refunded. This company lies and I hope their scheming gets shut down because none of what they're selling is ANYTHING worth the price they put it for.

You see in the reviews of certain items to beware and read the descriptions of what is included in the items. THE DESCRIPTIONS LIE TOO! I was looking to order a table that was titled "Dining Set with 6 Side Chairs". You would think 6 chairs, so to be safe I check the description which stated "What's Included? Table Chair(s)". Even the Features showed "Features: Set includes 1 Table and 6 Side Chairs". Went to chat with customer service about this, and the girl informed me that there were actually only 2 chairs and that it would be about double the price to get the full set. That they had the description wrong. They also wouldn't honor the price or think of giving any sort of discount for the inconvenience/false advertising.

I ordered an open box item when I saw the claim online that they carefully inspect returned items. The item was delivered and instead of a king size headboard, all I received was what looked like the end posts. When I called customer service I was told that this happens and that contrary to the claim, Wayfair just takes the customers word for it that the items returned are all in the box in good condition and will resell and reship without actually inspecting the item for damage or missing parts. Wayfair’s method of handling the issue was to refund my money since that was the only “open box” available for that item and considers THAT good customer service. I want the item I ordered at the price I paid.
Now there is a king headboard somewhere out there with missing parts and another dissatisfied client or another piece of junk for which they will write off the loss, sitting in the warehouse. How much overall do they lose on this item because the returns department didn't do their job and how much saved to have at least some sale made and a happy customer instead of this review letting all know of their failure? Inspect your returns before daring to resell and replace my item with a real one. THIS would be actual customer service and will determine if I will EVER buy from Wayfair again.

I placed an order for a daybed from Wayfair on 21st March and it was delivered on 29th March. I chose the daybed as it was self assembly and I have narrow stairs leading to my flat so getting assembled furniture up the stairs would be a nightmare. The guys arrived and I offered them £20 to carry the packages to my flat, which they were happy to do. My son helped me put the sofa together, it took about 30 minutes and I am very very pleased with it. It looks expensive but is a reasonable price. I have placed another order for some items, one of which has already arrived, the other 2 are expected this week. I am glad I ordered before reading these reviews as they would have put me off purchasing from them and I am very happy with my daybed.

I buy some patio furniture, it is dumped in the neighbor's driveway looking like it was thrown off a 2nd story. I call their off-shore customer service and they say, "No problem, we'll send you another, no charge; you dispose of the damaged one." So the 2nd delivery arrives and box is in better shape, but still looks pretty rough. I decide to keep it and am waiting for the bill... When I finally get a phone message from Comenity Bank saying my payment is late I call them and explain I have no statement yet. They suggest I should have known I had a payment due and called sooner??? With what info?
Until you get a statement you have no due date, no account number for online access, and no way to know who is servicing Wayfair accounts. After arguing with someone who barely spoke English, reading from a cue card, I agreed to pay all late fees and charges to bring account to zero and then close it. So what do I get a month later? A bill for a late fee and a minimum interest charge - AFTER THE ACCOUNT IS CLOSED? Tomorrow I will call and argue with another parrot and probably get nowhere. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS!!!

So considering my daughter in law to be is a blond blued eyed young lady I do not feel the cake top is appropriate. I asked for a replacement and was told I would receive it in a couple of days. I ordered about 7 different items from them and scheduled all to be delivered on the desired date, as they allow you to do so (or at least you think you think they're allowing you), but every single piece of furniture was delivered on a random day and not per the scheduled deliveries. Items were damaged and Wayfair didn't care to do anything about it.
They delayed my Sofa delivery by 2 weeks because they needed more men to be able to deliver. And on the day of the delivery I called them to see why they hadn't arrived yet for the schedule delivery and they told me that they can't deliver and I need to hire a third delivery company to have my sofa delivered, and that I HAD TO PAY FOR IT, $300!!! They left me with no furniture when I was expecting guest that same night and Wayfair's response was "we don't know what you're supposed to do but we can't do anything for you." THE WORST service and experience! They don't care about their customers at all and are very rude and unprofessional!!

Wayfair's "next day delivery" rush is fraudulent. Wayfair should state on their website that if you spend $40 for RUSH NEXT DAY DELIVERY - that it really means the item will be delivered on FedEx's terms between the hours of 11:00AM and 8:00PM and not necessarily during business hours.

I was told my recent order for a footstool would be delivered Monday the 3/4, I took a day off work and waited in all day but nothing arrived. I have had to cancel order as cannot take another day off work, I am now fraudulently being charged 5.00 for a return on an item I have never received. I ordered a $300 sofa from Wayfair. After being a week late, the delivery men charged me extra to carry it past the front door. They wanted to leave it out in the rain. Extortion, and they scratched my front door frame. They left immediately as it was raining, leaving NO paperwork. Three weeks later the old scrap pallet 'lumber'(from China) in one side cracked and broke into three pieces. The leg split around the screw into two pieces. So damaged a local carpenter said "forget it" Would need to build an entire new side. Called Wayfair, "No paperwork, no warranty" Though they had my purchase order, and delivery date. Tough. No Tickee, no washee. And never a Wayfair purchase again. Tried to donate to local Goodwill, they laughed and wouldn't even take it. I had to pay a junk driver to get rid of it. Buyer Beware.

I ordered a sofa from Wayfair in which they said it would take 30 days before it was delivered. I was fine with that cause I have ordered from them before and had deliveries made. The first delivery from Wayfair was a love seat. The delivery came after the scheduled delivery time and they delivered it into the house. They damaged the front door as they were shoving it in the house. But the damage was not bad. I was frustrated but ok with it.
This time they decided to deliver the item 2 hours ahead of the scheduled delivery time. Being it was set up for 1 pm to 5 pm delivery I was not home at 11 am when they wanted to deliver. They emailed me 27 minutes before they wanted the delivery at 11 and said they would be there at 11. I was at work and in a meeting so not able to meet them. They never showed up. Even between 1 and 4. I went home from work and waited between 1 and 4 and they did not show up! Then when I checked with them they lied to me saying that they were there.
I waited 4 hours, took time off of work to meet them and they never showed up. Now it's reschedule and miss more work. This is a horrible company. I order a lot from online retailers and this company has been the worst I have ever had. I will not EVER buy another item from Wayfair. I think you can find the same items someplace else for less and get better customer service. Wayfair does not care about the customer. Just the cash.

Not only do they send me the wrong product, they then say I cannot have the item I ordered because they made a mistake online and the cost was listed incorrectly. Not my problem, honor your mistakes, otherwise the website has zero integrity! Further, they tell me that I will be charged if I do not return the product they sent in error. I didn't know there was a California Prop 65 Warning on this item (item that contains cancerous chemicals). I wish they had put it under the description of the item, so I could of decided to buy it or not. Instructions looked like they were photocopied. Screws smelled like machine oil. We ended up not requesting a refund, because:
2) It was already half assembled, to pack it we had to disassemble it.
3) We have to drive the item to the closest UPS.
Not worth the trouble to get back over $100 item.

I ordered a pair of pictures for my wall that were pretty significant in size, paid almost $300.00 for the set and when they arrived at my house one of the two were broken....The glass in the picture was cracked. I called Wayfair and they sent me another set and when they arrived 3 days later one of the two was not only cracked but broken to pieces, it was like someone had thrown it. The glass was all at the bottom of the box and I was surprised I was not cut by any of it. I called Wayfair and their answer was to send me yet another set of pictures.
My question to them was why am I paying the cost that I am for these prints if they are apparently so disposable? Of course, I knew the reason for this is because they have built all of that into the price I’m paying. You see, I just wanted what I paid for and nothing more, what I don’t want is a house full of huge boxes with broken frames of glass in them that I have to dispose of.
Wayfair CS just kept saying that they have procedures in place to handle these situations for customer satisfaction. What procedures? The procedure to keep sending me new sets of frames that I can’t even use and then have to figure out how to dispose of them because they are always broken? I mean, how many times does this have to happen? I can’t be the only person this has happened to. Bottom line, if Wayfair is truly about customer satisfaction they would prevent this from happening to begin with and then wouldn’t have to charge the customer as much for the product to cover the costs of their or their shipper's mistakes. Truly disappointed!

The hot tub was scheduled for delivery so I scheduled a day off. I was told I would receive a call the day before. I did not receive a call so I called them. I live 1/3 mile off the road and have bad cell coverage. The morning of the delivery I received 5 conflicting emails about delivery. I called and got an answering machine then they cancelled my delivery then sent me an email on how sorry they were the item did not work out for me followed by a survey. What a joke. The $100 I "saved" by going through Wayfair cost me 5 times as much in missed work. They are trying to replace actual humans with bad technology.

My account was recently charged $25 on returned payment fees because the transaction did not go through. My payment option account was verified on their website technology and successfully scheduled payment before the due date. Nonetheless, when I called customer service rep was told that they can't waive a returned fees because the banks to banks processing fees! Here's the question, if they didn't have the correct bank account numbers (in my case their website technology did verify my account) so the $25 returned payment fees were charged base on what circumstance? Their labor fees? In addition, when I was talking to the representative he told me there's a way to avoid late payment charge if you give them a reasonable excuse!! But not for someone trying to make a payment on time and trusted their technology. Wouldn't recommend especially for a company couldn't hold up its customer service standards.

I purchased an oversized chair from Wayfair at the end of January. Initially, the shipping time said 4 to 6 weeks but shortly after purchase that timeline moved to 7 to 8 weeks. Well here we are almost at the 2 month deadline, I go and check my order and it now states my chair is on back order. Like WTF. Wayfair if you don't have the goods then don't advertise it. It's freaking ridiculous that a customer has to wait months to receive a piece of furniture. I also bought a loveseat around the same time which was just delivered a couple of weeks ago despite having a initial delivery date of 2 weeks. Not that the other bad reviews aren't enough warning but, beware if buying bigger furniture pieces from Wayfair because they seem to suck at delivering it in any kind of timely manner.

The best purchase was a bathroom vanity. It was the same as in the store, same manufacturer for 1/2 the price. I did have no problem with the plates. I ordered Melamine outdoor plates. The top plate in the two packages were broken, not packed properly. Instead of asking me to return the plates they told me to keep them and sent me two more sets. So instead of 16 plates I now have 30. Customer service was very quick to satisfy me without making it a "thing". I am still buy things, in fact I got a package today.

Based on an email I sent to the company today. One of the most important lessons I learned in managing an international manufacturing company serving customers in many countries and languages and which we preached over and over again to our staff is to make communications and instructions as simple and clear as possible. (Our products were "assemble on site metal ceiling systems.")
I also constantly reminded our staff that it takes ten times more effort to get a new customer than does to keep an old one by "getting it right" the first time. "Credibility can't be bought - it must be earned!" My wife and I have assembled scores of Ikea items over the years when we chose those products that were more utilitarian to serve growing children rather than waste money on the type of product that would lose all its value the moment it arrived at the door. Never have we experienced the challenges we faced when facing the errors and omissions associated with this order.
Frankly, I am shocked by the following associated with the subject order.
1. Instructions.a. These have pretty diagrams but are lacking clear step-by-step assembly instructions.
b. The instructions do not have sizes of the items nor tags on the actual items. So while it is possible to ultimately determine which is which, it is not without some frustration.
2. Missing Pieces. The plastic bag with the assembly pieces was missing one of each of the following items:a. Large Zinc Cam
b. Confirmat Screw
c. 5/8" Screws
Although it did not happen, I would have blown a fuse if I had hired someone to come to my home to hang the unit only to discover the missing parts that would have required using an alternative solution to holding the unit together, visiting a local Home Hardware, hoping they stocked the right size Cam or as I am doing now, requesting that these items be expedited to me.

I am very disappointed in the lack of customer service provided by wayfair.ca. I ordered a pub set back in January from the site. At the time, the site said it was due back in stock at the beginning of March. I took the trouble to get a quote for the price provided on the site in the event that the price would change when the pub set came back in stock. I began searching the site in March and found that my item was no longer listed. After numerous phone calls and emails, I finally was able to contact the individual who provided the initial quote. She said she would look into it and call me back.
I never heard back from her. I spent three weeks sending emails and leaving messages. To no avail. At the end of March, I finally caught her at her desk when I made yet one more random call. She explained that the item was in fact discontinued and she was sorry. I asked her about the three months that I had spent waiting and the quote I had received that guaranteed my price and she said there was nothing she could do about it. I explained to her that if I were Wayfair and concerned about customer service, I would offer to take the time to search for similar items that I could email the customer in the hope of finding an alternate product. And I said I would also tell the customer that I would honour the same price provided in the quote. I was told that this wouldn't be forthcoming, that this is one of the risks of online shopping.
I can't believe a company the size of Wayfair would: 1) mislead a customer for three months, 2) fail to return emails and phone calls (and they were several over the course of the month of March!), and 3) nonchalantly blame it all on the risks of online shopping. The company couldn't even contact me to inform me that the item had, in fact, been discontinued. I could have been waiting to hear from them forever. If this is the future of shopping, then heaven help us all!

I was looking for some floor lamps and had found a few options that I liked on various sites with very similar pricing. The main reason I ordered on Wayfair was because it promised free 2 day shipping. The items did not arrive in 2 days and are actually scheduled to arrive a full week after the order. There was absolutely no communication or notification of any delay. I find this incredibly misleading, disappointing, and I won't trust, use or recommend this website to anyone.

I placed an order for over $3000.00 dollars. I called and asked them to deliver all the items together. They say "yes no problem." I ended up having 7 deliveries with different dates and different times. I called many times to request to have all items delivered the same day. The only answer I received was to call FedEx and UPS to coordinate it with them. Why? I placed an order on WAYFAIR and is WAYFAIR who should have been who solve this issue for me. OK. I got part of my delivery and I have to say, it is just another disappointment. One of the tables I bought it was supposed to be black. When I opened the box, the pieces were different shades of black. Once assembled it, the edges do not fit, so it looks like a not good taken care of/old piece of furniture. The bookcase pieces were not finished (the painting was off), the edges were broken and the back was ripped. This is just a nightmare. The worst experience ever.

I was shopping for toddler bed frames and found a cute one on Wayfair's site at a GREAT price! The photo advertised a gray metal framed toddler bed for $57.99. When I went to add 2 of these to my cart, the price increased by almost $30.00, each. A pink framed toddler bed, which was on backorder until May 9 and unavailable for purchase was now listed at $57.99 while the gray bed was more expensive. I took a screenshot of the gray bed at $57.99 with the plan to call Wayfair Customer Service. When I spoke to customer service and shared multiple photos, they acknowledged what I was seeing but refused to adjust the price stating it was only for the pink bed and that they could not decrease the price of the gray bed for me because of their "margins". I told them their promotional ads were misleading as the pink bed wasn't even available and the gray bed is what was showing up at the lesser rate.
A supervisor told me she shopped online regularly and saw this kind of misleading advertising all the time to which I said, regardless of what happens "all the time", it does not make the situation right. Additionally, I was told that when they now searched the bed, the higher price was showing up. I did not appreciate being made to appear a liar when I had photos to show what I was viewing. I then asked if I could get a rain check on the pink beds as that was the only bed she said was available for the lesser price (even though I didn't want a pink bed) and I was told NO, that they could not guarantee that price when the item came back in stock.
I went back and forth for 35 minutes and was told a manager would call me back within 15 minutes. HOURS later and I still have not received a call, nor do I expect to receive one. I have never dealt with worse customer service in my life. If your website is indicating one price, there are photos to prove it, and a customer is ready and willing to buy, why wouldn't you honor what your website states and make corrections to it as needed after the fact?

I purchased this bed in late November as a Christmas gift for my daughter. In March, we realized that the bed was covered in sawdust & little holes... Long story short, it’s infested with wood eating bugs/worms. I checked back on the website, and saw another reviewer posted about the same exact issue in January. We called Wayfair asking for a refund, and they told us there was no proof that the bugs were coming from the bed, after the other reviewer posted the exact same problem... They told us we need to get an exterminator and have them write a report stating the infestation originated from the bed before they’d refund us the money.
They then said our invoice for the exterminator would have to be reviewed and approved... They sold us an infested item, refused to give a refund, and told us that the infestation couldn’t have come from them because they have an exterminator examine their warehouse. This is the worst customer service ever! My daughter is distraught, we have a bug infested bed and a company who refuses to refund us. After extensive pictures, proof, and another reviewer from Florida (we live in Pennsylvania) with the same exact complaint, they still said it was our fault. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! This is truly disgusting.

I had a terrible experience with this company unfortunately. I tried to buy a pillow, and during check out the screen kept freezing. Frustrated I decided to buy the same pillow from Overstock. Immediately after I received an email from Wayfair confirming my order, I really thought the check out never went through. I canceled the order immediately, but I received an email telling me that the order could not be cancelled. Here I am still waiting for that pillow so I can return it, this is 7 days later!!! I received the pillow from Overstock 2 days later I placed the order. And on top of this I was charged a return fee. I cancelled orders before right after they were placed with Overstock but I never was denied the cancellation. I would not recommend Wayfair to anybody and I will never shop there again.

I bought a bunk bed with steps attached when my grandsons moved to my home. Both have CMT so I needed sturdy and steps as they both have leg braces at night. Paid on top 250 to have it put together. They did a horrible job putting it together. Falling apart. Top rails loose from the beginning. We constantly have to try and fix. Never again will I waste my money with this company. So very disappointing.

I had ordered furniture with assembly twice with Wayfair. My installer informed me of the only piece of furniture he would be putting together is a nightstand when I ordered assembly for a nightstand, a dresser, and a platform bed. After hearing this I decided to cancel and opted to put it together myself. He then had the nerve to give me a small lecture about what's fair to him when I spent the entire day putting together furniture I paid money to have assembled for me. Money I'm most likely not getting back.

Buyer beware... The delivery service that Wayfair has retained is inept. The two piece table I ordered from Wayfair was delivered with a shelf unit and table bottom, no top. I was assured by the delivery guy it would be delivered two days later. I spoke with Wayfair that day and the next day, twice, and it was confirmed that the delivery would be from 8-noon Saturday. Surprise... Received a call from Wayfair on Saturday morning and was informed that there would be no delivery until Monday due to a labeling error. So, if you want prompt, accurate delivery do not order from Wayfair. Very poor reflection upon the company.

We bought a beverage cart from Wayfair. The product was cheaply made. During the assembly, I had to force some of the parts in place and/or reinforce those pieces with wood glue. Also, the instructions for assembling the product was illustrated by pictures of the parts and arrows, no words (Looks like a 4 year old created it). I went on their site to find any additional information with no luck. I will never buy anything from Wayfair again.

I received 1 wedding album and no picture frame, instead they sent me another album. I complained and went to another person who sent me another album. I noticed that the sku# was for the frame but they sent another album. I've been through several different people all promising me to sent the frame which never happened. I ended up going to the manufacturer of the frame to buy it there. I'm sending this now because after dealing with so many for so long they left me hanging. This was ordered in early December for a wedding Dec.29th. It's now March and I've gone elsewhere. Service? Very Disappointing.

I placed an order for a wardrobe armoire. After seeing the charge for our purchase on our credit card I call Wayfair. I was told the would replace the money till product was shipped. No other information from them for a month on the day our purchase was to be shipped. I called them again to information on what was going on with my order. I was informed that my purchase was sitting on dock ready to be shipped. Three days later the second contact from Wayfair in over a month and this one tells me that the product I've ordered is now on back order. This is over six weeks this unit has been on order.
As I look back on this I still believe I was lied to twice by their representatives so I called them and canceled my order. This was my first time ordering from Wayfair and will be my last. When the representatives feel free to lie to their customers it show that this company has no honor. This kind of stuff starts at the top of the company and works its way down. Had the people at the top of this Company worked hard and had honor and ran the business that way no one would need to fabricate stories. Looking at all the complaints generated by the this company I should not be surprised but I was.

DO NOT ORDER THIS VANITY OR FROM WAYFAIR! There are pictures that show this vanity with a back splash. We received our vanity with no back splash and called to see why a back splash was not included. On the specs, it's misleading because it says back splash included. Spoke to someone in customer service and she could not explain why some of the pictures show a back splash, she could not answer my question. She supposedly spoke with someone in their warehouse and they don't even sell the back splash to match the vanity. I was told it was a common stone that we could match it. (More money on an already expensive vanity.) This is not the case.
I am having new kitchen granite installed and the gentleman installing our granite looked at it and said he could not match it. I will be returning all the items I have just purchased with Wayfair and I have emptied my cart of any items I was fixing to purchase due to the misleading advertising of Wayfair. Be cautious when buying from them and don't depend on pictures to be a true and accurate description of the product.

I was excited to order order items for a remodeling project and doggy playroom. I had an entire list of things to order from Wayfair but not enough time to sit and shop until the weekend, so placed an order for two small items: An armchair cover and a padded dog cover to go over that. Excited to complete my list and order the rest, I sat down last night to find they had cancelled my order with no explanation other than it was suspicious. I contacted them to ask why they deemed my order suspicious and the only response I was given was a repeated: "Your order has been cancelled. Sorry for the inconvenience." I have ordered before from the same account, to the same address, same everything and now they just randomly decide they will not give me service or provide any explanation. Guess they don't want business.

Ordered curtains that I knew were not top quality but I liked the colors and it would serve my purposes. First, they changed the date of shipping and delivering, then they delivered the wrong size. I called - the people answering the phone are really helpful, none of this is their fault - corrected the size with new delivery date. It never arrived. Called again, they told me - again, excuses that the people on the phone have nothing to do with - that the warehouse was "reviewing the size" to make sure it is the correct one. The size is written in the package, it takes like 5 seconds to read it, another 10 to confirm with my order. How hard can it be? Never using Wayfair again.

I bought matching soap dispensers for my two sink bathroom, which matched the decor. After just over a year of minimal to average use, the pump part broke meaning that soap came out of the sides and not the pump. Upon calling Wayfair they could not replace it and offered only 10% discount of another item. I will not be shopping with them again as it appears their merchandise is not built to last. Very disappointing.

So my wife and I moved into a new home with 0 furniture, starting from scratch. Wife is very particular so we've been purchasing different items at various retailers. Wife spent HOURS/DAYS looking for pieces such as beds, runners (rugs), floor lamps, etc. on Wayfair.com and we ultimately made a decision to spend $500+ via Wayfair's seemingly attractive credit card option which allows you to go interest free over 12 months (perfect). Mind you, we already took a similar 'interest free' route through other retailers and got an INSTANT decision, checked out, walked out a happy customer.
Wayfair's checkout process led me to believe I was going to get an instant decision and be able to check out with a smile on my face...NOPE. I'm told, after this stupid application already puts a hard inquiry against my credit score, that I must wait up to 10 business days for a decision to be made (not to mention however long it was going to take to deliver the items to my home, let alone potentially broken or mismatching pieces per several other reviews I read against this company). In conclusion, Wayfair (and Comenity Bank), absolutely suck... My customer journey was awful... The bank was unavailable to retract my credit application (of course)... And I will never purchase anything from Wayfair or affiliated companies, ever.

I have spent a lot of money over the past several weeks buying furniture for our new home. We bought a new head/foot board for our bed, it was shipped out next day to arrive a week later, damaged... Ok they gave me a credit, fair enough. Bought a new coffee table on the same day, it was shipped out 2 days after ordered to arrive a week & 1/2 later, it arrives with minor damage, ok they gave me credit on this. Now!!! on February 25th I ordered new love seat/couch set, they estimated it would be delivered to my area on or before the 13th expected shipment date of the 6th. I have spoken with customer service to hmmmm some of them were not so pleasant. For them to advise me that it would be definitely shipped out on the 6th, it is in stock so so so.
As of today 3/7... I never got any confirmation of shipment. I called again this morning, they cannot call the warehouse. They can only communicate via email... the young lady was pleasant this morning, she said she would communicate with the warehouse to see what is going on, well next thing I know I receive an email stating that my order is now set to ship on March 11th, so when I go online to see the status of my order on their website it states that this is now on back order!!! REALLY???
I call back, a different person tells me that no it's not on back order that the computer system has it wrong and it is set to ship out tomorrow 3/8, but again checking their website it has literally changed 3 times in the past 4 hours. Now it is showing my estimated date of delivery to my area is March 20th... So I will wait til tomorrow morning if it is not shipped!!! I will cancel the order and proceed to write another review on every every website/social media/to anyone that will ready and proceed with caution of ever purchasing from them!

I just sold my home that I lived in for 15 years. When ordering from Wayfair... I forgot to change the shipping address (my fault not theirs)... I put in a request to change the address and never received an answer and the address never got changed. I cancelled the order and the order never cancelled. 3 days later they shipped it to the wrong address. I called them yesterday to have them contact FedEx and change the delivery address. It is nearly 5 pm EST time right now. I tracked on FedEx, it still says it's delivering to the wrong address. I did the only thing possible, I called FedEx and asked that they hold for pick up. I'm not sure I will ever order from them again. What an excuse for customer service!

The chair was purchased in September of 2017. That makes it one a half year old, the base of the chair where the wheel are inserted broke. No parts available once you are out of warranty, that’s ridiculous. I will no longer be purchasing from Wayfair. Your policy and the manufacturer you carry are absurd. P.S. I wasn’t expecting a warranty. I told them I would pay for the parts. But she told me to garbage the chair and buy a new one. Well if I have to do that it definitely will not be from Wayfair. I called the number you provided for the manufacturer but they were not helpful at all. They told me that unless you Wayfair order the part for me that I have to throw the chair in the garbage and buy another one. They will not sell me the replacement part because it's out of warranty. That's ridiculous. I need the base for that chair and willing to pay for the part.

I was shopping for 3 glass partition panels for my bathroom. The Wayfair had a great deal on it so I made a purchase. It was too good to be true and it was. They canceled my order, it was over the holidays. After I received the notification I contacted the Wayfair (assigned manager). I was told everything is ok with my order. Waiting, for my order and month later I contacted the company again and they told me the order was canceled. They listed the panels at $120 higher price and would not honor the previous price. After listening to all the dumb arguments I just believe they are using unfair ways of trapping the customers. I will not go back. This company is not worthy of my business. What a waste of my time.

I asked - pre-order... what the dimensions of the furniture AND they gave me wrong info. 40% wrong... 13 inches vs. 18. That is ridiculous... THEY should be sued for fraud. Then I was offered 15% discount to keep the item... (when online it was now 10% less for everyone). They treated me LIKE I did not like the product when the truth is... THEY LIED ABOUT IT!

I ordered a 3 drawer and 9 drawer storage chest. The quality of the products are so low that I took them out to my garbage collection centre and dumped it. The 9 drawer was meant to be assembled, but it was almost impossible to do so due to the very weak material quality - if I applied any pressure to assemble the screws, the rods would break. The 3 drawer chest was made of flimsy bamboo like material - couldn't use it. Never buy anything from Wayfair.

So I live 50 miles away from my work. I needed to get a sturdy shed since the 2 flowerhouse sheds I purchased from Wayfair ripped apart after it rained and the wind blew. So I order this shed that says it will be delivered on the 11th. I take off work early. (Mind you I lose money when I take off work) I hired someone to put the shed together. He takes off work to come help me. I know it is supposed to snow 2 days later. I have all the stuff from the 2 sheds stuffed in my house. I get a call from the delivery guys, the message was broken up, but I could hear that he said due to bad weather they can't come till the next day. I called and told them the weather was fine until 2 more days. They tell me their boss won't let them come. I have to pay this guy I hired because he would lose money from his work.
Next day, leave work early again. So I tell the guys to leave it on the left side of the house where it's going to be set up. They didn't leave the shed. I am already upset because I now have lost $300. 2 days of missed work, one day of the guys missed work. The next day I call and complain. Some lady that is really nice says, "It looks like it got delivered, if there is any damage or the box got ruined, please let us know so we can take care of this." So when I get home, it's cover in snow and left in my driveway. I call the next day to complain. This guy acted like it was no big deal. He said it's waterproof. "Do you want the shed, or do you want to return it?" I said, "Are you serious? I want someone to come and move it to the proper place." I explained everything I went through. He said he talked to the guys and they said they would come back and move it.
After talking with him for a while I finally got him to give me a little bit back on it since I just lost money from their mistake. Guess what. I come back 2 days later and it's still in the driveway but a little to the left. Are you kidding? what part of the left side of the house is not clear? Do they not know their left from right? They took the word slab of cement and the word left and put it together as if I said left side of cement driveway. So again, I call. I get some other guy who was just as bad. I said, I just want it picked up and gone. He put in a return for the wrong dollar amount. I had to call back, and as soon as I heard his voice, I spoke and he hung up. I called again. I spoke with a nice lady. She felt really bad. She made notes and corrected the credit.
I then received an email from Brandon. It seemed like I was finally going to get somewhere, but these emails were like, "I am here to resolve this for you and make sure I monitor the process until it is resolved. I would respond and I would have to wait all day to hear back or the next day." So much for that. He did try to offer me a discount that may have been big for me, but it didn't cover what I lost.
The only way to make it right is to pay for my lost days of work and the money for 200 miles traveling gas, and money dished out to hire someone for one day. I will of course be responsible for hiring someone else, but I will also need money to hire someone to move this heavy thing to the right place. I have not heard back since this morning from Brandon. I called Wayfair again. The lovely lady said she would mark urgent for him to message me. It's been an hour now. Come on You want great customer service. Focus on one case at a time. Undivided attention. I usually get great service from them.

I ordered a couch, was delivered the wrong couch, and they told us to use the wrong couch and they will deliver the correct couch, when they delivered the couch they called once and left no voicemail, my partner didn’t see his phone and called a couple minutes later (not even 5 minutes) and they said they couldn’t deliver the couch anymore, mind you I was outside waiting and did NOT see a truck, they straight up lied. I blocked off my entire day AGAIN for this couch. Called customer service and now I have to block my morning off FOR THE THIRD TIME for this couch, it’s not even worth the savings. They gave us a few bucks back for delivering the wrong couch, but this is out of hand, the money I lost by not working and waiting for this couch is NOT WORTH IT!!!

Was sent an email by Wayfair advertising these chairs that a set of 2 for $183.99. Tried to order them and the total came up as $367.98. Called Wayfair. Told them what the email said, they acknowledged the email was sent out that way and after a long wait on hold (15 min). I was told they could not honor that price and that a "ticket" has been made up to correct the email. Total False advertising, they should have honored the price for me and then put in their "ticket" to fix it online. Won't shop on this website as they are not honest.

Bought a table. Took couple weeks to be delivered. Hour before they were suppose to deliver...they called and said the truck broke down. Waited a week for another delivery. Came. Great delivery guys. Opened first box and first piece pulled out. Broken. Called customer service. They said have repair company fix. They were two weeks out. Called back and they shipped a new piece. (Why that wasn't a option to began with?) Finally got table together and with leaf in table it doesn't close all the way. Small gap! They again offered the repair people. I'm set 3 weeks out for them to repair. I will most likely just get a local repair company. If you want to go thru hell then this is the place to shop! The only positive thing I can say about Wayfair is the customer service is excellent! Nice...courteous. Though I see why with the trouble you go through.

I bought a mattress set in Dec 2018, paid it in full by January 2019 date. Called to make sure that the BANK CHECK for 878.00 was going to correct address. Sent to address instructed, THEY DEPOSITED MY BANK CHECK, and NEVER CREDITED MY ACCOUNT. I opened a dispute like instructed. Priority mailed with tracking to address and dept I was told, showing PROOF check was deposited into Wayfair account, and a copy of check being mailed priority mail, and pictures showing it arrived to their PO Box!!! They have harassed me daily since January 8, 2019... I’ve stated the bill was paid, now they have added late payment fees for each month, reported to all 3 credit Bureaus stating I’ve never made payment and today I received a letter from a COLLECTION AGENCY!!! So tomorrow I will now be contacting a lawyer!!!

The Gayatri leather loveseat delivery took 3 weeks, and arrived with a 12 inch defect along the corner that was very visible, and the tuft buttons slid right out of the cushions one by one. It appears they were not knotted correctly to the bottom. Customer Service was very helpful and sent a replacement, and complimentary unpacking was added to the replacement since it was very difficult to unpack myself the first time with a wood frame inside the box. Replacement had no defects, but within 2 days the first button slipped out and more have since then - even with a blanket over the cushion as a precaution. I wrote a review on the website, but it appears they filter them because my review was not added, so who knows how many others had this problem and could have prevented my purchase for a low quality product. Missing buttons not only looks bad, but is a serious hazard for children or animals who may eat them. Very disappointed.

I ordered a leather couch and chair in October. They were delivered the Friday after Thanksgiving. Both had deep strap marks on the armrests and I rejected them. The delivery crew trash talked me in Spanish, which my son speaks, so he let me know what they were saying. Customer service said they would replace the items. So far so good. Then the wait began. C.S. called several times over the next two months with "updates" which essentially told me nothing, but they did discount the price because of the long wait.
Again, ok, but it was taking a very long time. They couldn't tell me where the replacements were or how long it would take to get them to me. Finally, in FEBRUARY, I got told they would be delivered by Valentine's Day. They were not. C.S. called again to say they didn't know what was going on. I asked for a supervisor. Not available. The next day, Feb. 20, they called again to say the shipment was "lost in transit." Disgusted, I finally asked for a refund. Awful service. Awful treatment. I will never, ever order anything from them again and I would advise no one else to.

I had a scheduling issue with a bed I bought off Wayfair, and understandably they originally walked me through how to use the FedEx app to put the item on hold. THIS IS WHERE IT GETS IMPRESSIVE: When the app wouldn't register my tracking #, I tried using the FedEx customer service number, and when that didn't work I went back to Wayfair's customer service. Here is everything they did right and more: A human picked up on the third ring and had all of my info and order pulled up. They asked if I could be put on hold and checked back in after 5 minutes on hold to give an update and ask for clarification. They worked with FedEx to offer me the ideal solution to my problem, and all I had to do was listen to the hold music for a total of 10 minutes and 31 seconds.

We purchased a Moon Mystic Winter Wonderland duvet cover with a starry night sky. The picture online looked like a very dark blue sky with bright stars and was exactly what my daughter is looking for. When the duvet cover arrived, it is a much lighter blue - so many shades lighter it won't work in the room at all, with various black and white shapes on it. It does have stars, but the product is so far off the color advertised it is going to have to be returned.

I had placed an order with Wayfair before for some small things like a coat rack, a lamp, and a blanket. That order was fine, no damaged items, and shipped quickly. Less than a week for everything. Thought I could trust them with my furniture needs. WRONG! 3 week wait for my items and when I finally got them, every single one was damaged. My dresser with mirror, all scratched up with a crack in mirror frame. My nightstand, clearly dropped on its corner, smushed in. The bed frame looked like someone had used it before. So I call customer service, nice people, I know it’s not their fault. Have to ask to speak to a manager, again, nice people but could not meet my needs.
At first I agreed that the items would be picked up in a reasonable time and I would get a brand new set. Sure, why not, I like how it looks looking past the damage. Told me there was no way to remove the damaged items from my apartment in a reasonable amount of time and that it would be > than the 48hrs to pickup and another 3 weeks to get my replacements. You're telling me there’s not a single truck in New York City that can be here in <48hrs? Shove it, Wayfair. Yeah, I’ll take my refund thank you very much. Will never be doing business with these people again, really wish I had looked at the reviews on here before I placed my order. Buyer beware.
Also, for the love of god Wayfair, don’t comment on this post with some kind of “I’m sorry to hear you didn’t have a great experience” crap. Your companies customer support specialists, their manager, the freight company, and the warehouse manager all had the chance to fix this situation, in reasonable time, you chose not to. If you will not remove this garbage from my apartment in less than 48 hours, there is literally nothing you can do for me, so save it.

I bought some chair covers from Wayfair. First time I've bought anything from them. It will be my last. Chairs cover fit ok but looked cheap. Wayfair charges for returning items unlike Amazon or Nordstrom. And they do not let you select from several shipment methods. They only use FedEx which is a pain in the butt if you live in a small rural community. At least with USPS one can put a small pre-labelled item in a mailbox. Instead I have to find shipping store and drive to it. Wayfair is a cheap company that makes returning their cheap ** difficult.

I ordered a platform bed and it arrived ahead of the date but it arrived with no hardware. I contacted Wayfair and they said search the boxes. I already did. Nothing is there. Please ship hardware because I'm arriving at my new home and would like a bed to sleep on. I was arriving on Friday the 15th and the hardware was supposed to be there. Nothing! Nothing the next day. I checked the FEDEX site. Friday changed to Saturday and then Saturday to Monday. I doubted Monday, since it was President's Day, by maybe. Nothing, then Tuesday.
Today is Tuesday but no hardware. What kind of customer service do you have? You had over two weeks to send the hardware so I could put my bed together and nothing! My son also ordered a dresser and nightstands from Wayfair but when it arrived last week it was clearly for a children's room. Nowhere on the page or description about the dresser or nightstand did it indicate for "children". And YES, to return, they expect you to pay shipping. I'm a business account but this will be last Wayfair order. I've spoken with countless people and I get nowhere. Customer service is lacking.

Is it possible to leave something less than 1 star? This review is about the Company not the products they sell. First bad experience: They have this service of $120 for assembly. While ordering a dining table, a sofa and coffee table I called the customer service and they said that the $120 will cover installation of all three items. Two days later I check my orders. Realized that the assembly service had been applied to only one order. I call customer service. They say it was a mistake and I asked them to cancel my order.
Second bad experience: I saw charges on my credit card for cancelled orders. I call customer service and they say some error has been made and hence even though my order was cancelled, I wasn't refunded the money. They refunded me eventually but I had to keep track of everything else. $600 would have been lost. Third bad experience: Wayfair asked FEDEX to return the dining table which I was supposed to receive without any information. I have taken a leave from work so that I can receive the dining table and assemble it. I realize that my order will not be delivered because Wayfair has asked it to be returned, I got no notification and I only knew because I had to actively track my order. So my leave day is wasted and I don't have a table.
Fourth bad experience: I ask them to express ship me the dining table and for all the hassle cover the installation cost. Wayfair says they cannot provide the installation service because it is not available as FedEx is delivering this. What does delivery provider have to do with installation service? Guess what, I can go to Wayfair website right now and buy the same table and pay for installation. So I guess that Wayfair is politely lying to me under some nonsensical reason. Wayfair, never ever again.

I received my bed on time but damaged. The instructions that came with the bed instructed me to contact DHP (Dorel Home Products) and not Wayfair if there was a problem. That's what I did. DHP was absolutely NO help! I contacted Wayfair on a replacement headboard. Wayfair's customer service is so exceptional! I really like the bed and had to put it together for a "New Home Tour" my area. If the dent had been on the back of the headboard it wouldn't have been a big deal. It's right on the top on front, no way to hide it. I hoped DHP could understand the importance of getting the headboard replaced rather than taking it all apart and shipping it back. They couldn't and were absolutely NO help.
I let them know that the packaging of this product was the problem. It did not seem to have much protection and the box didn't appear damaged. Wayfair sent me a brand new bed at no cost and gave me a credit. This would have been a bad situation had it not been for Wayfair's OUTSTANDING customer service. DHP will be going out of business if they continue to operate with POOR customer service. Thank you WAYFAIR!

If you are going to order a rug or small item to be shipped, I am sure they would be fine. For furniture that they are to deliver and assemble - do not order anything from this company. Delivery service vehicle "broke down" the first delivery attempt, I waited 4 hours for nothing. The 2nd delivery attempt, they came at the end of the 4 hour window with two burly truck drivers that didn't know they were supposed to assemble. They did, and they broke the piece. Customer service is on the ball, but they don't do anything helpful. Stay away!
UPDATE February 15th: A new delivery was scheduled for today for delivery and assembly. After taking another day off work, we were told the morning of delivery that the delivery team does not assemble, they would have to arrange assembly with an outside company which would take an additional 5 business days. Why they did not arrange for assembly for the same day of delivery is total incompetence. UPDATE - After research, I read that Wayfair discontinued "white glove delivery". In order to save money, they now have delivery/assembly companies they own to reduce their costs. I was assigned the "Linden" delivery company who I assume Wayfair owns. They are awful.

I received a notification that my bed was delivered and I was at home. I contacted Wayfair to let them know it hadn't & inadvertently started a return. The bed was delivered to my garage with no knock on my door. I am a woman in my late 50's undergoing physiotherapy. I contacted Wayfair again to let them know that I was not happy with where the bed was left.
Following is the response that I received, "Thank you for contacting Wayfair.com, I'm so sorry you received your beautiful panel bed and our carrier did not deliver it to your front entrance as expected. I completely understand how frustration this is. We expect each and every delivery to go smoothly for our customers. I am going to resolve this for you. I do see a return has been set up on the item, which is pending pickup by our carrier. Please check your email for the return label we provided. We hope to see you back! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. Thank you for shopping with Wayfair.com."
I wrote back asking how she was going to resolve it. Here is her response, "Thank you for your response, as mentioned before there has been a return set up on the item. Have you received your return label? We are looking forward to your response. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. Thank you for shopping with Wayfair.com." So it appears that the resolution is to return the bed but she hopes I will continue shopping with Wayfair. Unbelievable. Sometimes things happen during a process. The problem is when nobody cares. Bought a chair listed as "leather". It is in no way leather, at least not in the form it came from the animal. The "leather" is pealing. Leather does not peal. It is some type of man-made material, likely Naugahyde or bonded leather. Wayfair did little more than pay lip service to this fraud. So I am stuck with a chair that is falling apart, even though I paid a premium price for what was listed and described as a premium product. Do not buy anything from Wayfair that claims to be leather.

I have been waiting on the delivery of a dresser for two months now. The first time the dresser was delivered it came damaged. I was told it would be several weeks until a replacement would be sent. I patiently waited with minimal followup from Wayfair. Finally the dresser arrives only to yet again come DAMAGED! All I'm getting from Wayfair are empty promises and useless apologies. Now I have to yet again wait several more weeks for another replacement dresser. I will NEVER order from them again. Save yourself the hassle and buy from another company.

Love my dining room set, but unfortunately I never checked all chairs underneath until now. One chair has a broken piece of wood that holds legs together. It looks like it was "repaired" with glue, but it didn’t work. I called Wayfair customer service but they couldn’t help since it’s over one year. I wish I flipped all chairs when they deliver them to check under as well. Hope this will help other customers and in the future. This is very upsetting. I always thought ??? can trust Wayfair, but obviously they don’t check quality of their items (even more expensive ones). This set was few thousands.

I am very disappointed in Wayfair and will most likely not use them again. Of 2 orders I placed, the first had an incorrect item shipped (one of 3 sconces was not what I ordered). In their defense, they shipped the correct item promptly. I was not impressed with the quality of another light in that first order either but kept it as I'm doing a major remodel and this is a minor issue to others. Then I ordered a light which came to me damaged. I was told more than a month ago I would be credited. Luckily I follow up on things like that. I called as I did not see the credit. I was told on phone they would push it through (like it was a favor???) in 3-5 days. Now, a week later, I get a vmail from someone that they are pushing it through and I should see it in 3-5 days. Here it is today, another week and no credit yet! I will wait until next week before I call again. Lastly quality to price - I was very disappointed.

I had purchased an open box bed from Birch Lane on Feb 4, I saw the ad on their website of an open box ARTHURS PANEL BED, for $ 129, I called customer service to make sure of the ad, and I placed my order over the phone, the second day that same ad was gone. A days later. I got an email, saying that my order has been cancelled because they do not have it on stock. After my purchase was cancelled the ad went back on BIRCH LANE website with the same open box and same sales price of 129 dollars, I called the company again, and spoke with 3 different representative.
Later I got a voice mail from one of their supervisors, in the voice message he said that he can see the ad and I can try to purchase it but it is not guaranteed. So I went ahead and repurchased it again. Again the second day it was cancelled. After speaking with another customer service man and a supervisor who 1st claimed that it's not in stock and after telling him that it showed on stock on their website, he offered to sell me the bed for 495+or dollars, so at this point I told him, "Now you are saying it is on stock but for a price different than what you had on your website. And the ad changed to open box for the price of $592." This is a terrible misleading, lying advertisement. Where is my customer rights.

Purchased a loft bed, the delivery was earlier than quoted (First star). Instruction manual was very clear and easy to follow (Second star). Product was very sturdy, good solid material (Third Star). However, one of the parts was damaged during shipping as I can see the box is dented as well. Not really Wayfair's fault, but rather FedEx's fault or whichever courier it was. The replacement process was painless, log on to their website, it links directly to the my order, and then to the manual, and then you can easily see which part you can tell them to replace. The whole process took 3 minutes (Fourth Star). The part wasn't available and they simply sent a replacement bed for me. Talked to customer support during this time, I waited only 10 seconds on the line and the lady was extremely polite and helpful (Fifth Star).
I don't see why so many negative reviews on such a great company. People complain about the stuff is too heavy to carry by themselves. But if you buy from IKEA, don't you have to carry everything by yourself up the stairs to your apartment as well? Plus you have to load everything into your car to bring the stuff from the store to your apartment. Wayfair delivers it to your address without you lifting a finger. I feel such reviews are very unjust.

Bought about 3k worth of furniture from Wayfair. A big bed and a mirror and two door chests. The door chest had a small fee for delivery and setup. The bed had a huge fee for delivery and setup. The bed was scheduled for delivery today the 29th of January with the installation of the bed early in the morning by a third party company called handy on the 30th. I having purchases furniture only for local company's I expected that a truck would show up with the delivery and the delivery guys would set it up. No FedEx is doing the delivery to my door and I would need to carry 4 heavy boxes inside and then the next day someone else would show up to do the installation. I can't carry those boxes as I currently have a back issue. When I realized that the delivery would be handled in this way I called the company to find out why and could I get it switched to their internal delivery.
I was told no that the best they could do was to have FedEx deliver further in the future and that I would have to call handy to come another day. That was when I found out that only 3 boxes would be delivered today and the 4th box would be delivered the next day. I called back to cancel my entire ordered. I was warned that if I did that they would have no choice but to charge me a fee for refunding my order and that it is in my best interest to just accept the delivery and call handy to schedule my installation another day. I cancelled the entire order anyway. I will only buy local from now on. The amount of money I paid for delivery and setup was more than the internal delivery and would have to take multiple days off work and try to lift boxes that will hurt my back.

Have had two items from this company. Although the price is good i.e. comparable, there have been flaws with each of the items in assembling, i.e. wrongly drilled holes and also slight warping of sides, but I have worked through and managed to assemble sideboards, which do look good. Yes, could have complained and sent item back, but not worth it, you get what you pay for.

I ordered a kitchen table with 4 chairs as a bundle. I knew what the total cost would be, approximately 3 days later the charge on the top of the invoice showed $3748.16 yet, when it was added at the bottom with the delivery fee and tax the cost went back down to $1964.71 (which is the correct cost). I’m not quite sure how adding the tax and delivery fee to $3748.16 would decrease the cost, I also noticed that the invoice stated that I ordered 2 of the kitchen tables versus one. I emailed them as soon as I noticed since they were closed already and received a response the following day stating that do not see the $3748.16 fee.
Thankfully, I took a picture of the invoice (before they changed the price) and emailed it right back, they attempted to tell me that it was the total of my previous purchase added on. Umm, no. Why would someone add on items that I already paid for? After I sent the picture they corrected the invoice, buyer beware! On top of that the person who responded to my email was snotty and unprofessional. I am crossing my fingers that this furniture is in one piece and as described.

I always love it when someone trades places with you and takes care of you in this manner. So far, in my experience, Wayfair Customer Service people are trained to do this. So I have purchased a lot of furniture and things from Wayfair: Platform bed, coffee tables, office furniture, patio furniture, sheets/comforters. Here is my overall take. 3 out of the 4 were decent and nice quality. My office desk is VERY good quality. My coffee tables did not hold up. After a year, the finish wore off poorly. My patio furniture - NICE. Still going strong after 6 years. Customer service: Platform bed had missing pieces, they shipped the wrong part twice but quickly so I give them a grade B. My experience is to read the specs in detail. If it does not give a type of wood - play it safe and consider it's going to be lesser quality.

I am shocked by the low ratings for Wayfair on this review site. I gutted my home and when it was finished the rebuild, I bought almost EVERYTHING from Wayfair. I have lamps, rugs, tables, chandeliers, a settee, bedding, you name it, I bought it at Wayfair and I always check them first for anything I need. In my experience, and I have an expensive home, their quality, variety, etc. is excellent. I have priced them against the identical products at stores in my city and Wayfair beats the prices hands down. I have returned items and there has been nothing but cooperation from the Customer Service department. This company is excellent, and does business the way the rest of them should.

I ordered a futon from Wayfair and it seemed like a fair price for it. When I read how it was shipped and that they bring it inside your house was great. However, when it came, it was not shipped how it was described and they did not have people to bring it in. It was delivered by FedEx and I had to help the driver with it, which I live on the second floor, and the futon is 130 lbs. Then I open the box and it's in pieces, which was described other than on the site. I opened the box and no instructions on how to assemble it. So I called customer service and told the girl on the other end that it had no instructions. She responded with "oh let me look at that", then said, "I'll take some money off of it and give you Thumbtack's information."
Are you kidding me? I'm suppose to pay someone to come put it together instead of them emailing the instructions? I had to wind up resorting to YouTube to see how to put it together. She should have given me at least half of what I paid for it for the inconvenience of not having instructor’s tons. Needless to say, I will never again purchase anything from them ever. If that is how they handle complaints they are a poor run company.

I ordered a chair recently. Once ordered, and two days later, I noticed a "price reduction" of $50. I cancelled the order which went through successfully. Then, I reordered the product at a lower price, along with an ottoman, which went through successfully. Two days later they sent me an email telling me the product was "out of stock" at the warehouse. They did refund the purchase price immediately. I thought I would enjoy purchasing items from this outfit, but now think otherwise. I also "unsubscribed" from future mailings.

Got credit card to get a discount on the purchase. Tried to close it right away. I was informed that if I pay over the phone it will cost me $25. Or I could do it with the bank account online. Ok I did it and after the end of the month I was charged $25 due to the payment bounced back. Hmm. I did a payment again and it went through. Talked to the customer service for 30 min and was told that there was a typo in the information and that is my fault and I have to pay 25$. The credit company Wayfair uses allowed a customer to open a fraudulent credit card in my name and made purchases delivered to an address in Miami. I only realized this after I received an credit card statement with a balance due. In my opinion Wayfair's Comenity Bank did not do due diligence to ensure the identity of the buyer. DO NOT OPEN A CREDIT ACCOUNT WITH THIS COMPANY.

Until Wayfair starts using a better shipping method, I will not buy or recommend anyone buy from them. I ordered a child's bed Saturday that was expected to be delivered Tuesday. It's Friday and I still haven't received it. They used FedEx Ground instead of FedEx Home so they won't deliver on the weekend. I will have to wait until Monday to SEE if it comes. I decided not to wait and I'd rather take my business to an actual store. So I canceled my almost $400 order and made sure FedEx and Wayfair understood why. My shipment was delayed 4 times unnecessarily. That is unacceptable. Use a better shipping service.

I ordered an knife block to be given as a gift. A week later I received a text that my item had been delivered ending with "enjoy your cutlery!" However, when I opened the box I had been sent a cast iron dutch oven! I sent a response in the limited space that is provided for problems and requested expedited handling of the correct item. Finally over a day later received an automated response that my replacement item won't be shipped for several more business days and won't arrive until a full week after delivery of the wrong item. It is extremely frustrating that the only available customer service is via automated responses and that there is no effort to expedite processing to correct an error that was clearly THEIR FAULT!!! They may have "just what I need" but them getting it to me is another story!!!

I was shopping around for a TV stand on a Wednesday. The TV stand was listed for $1043. Friday I decided I was going to buy it. They jacked the price up $100. I reached out to the company and asked if they would extend the pricing I had just saw two days ago. Not only did they say they wouldn't do that for me-but they wouldn't even give me a coupon for the item. Very greedy greedy company. Willing to lose over $1000 for a coupon/discount. I just don't like companies (especially as big as Wayfair) who try and rob you and not work with the competitive retail world. I then decided to shop around for the same TV Stand and found it for $686 on another site. So ridiculous but just beware. Shop around before you resort to Wayfair.

There are many scratch over the shoe cabinet. There is a 5 cm damaged color on the left door (I can send you the photos). The back part is not aligned!!! I am completely disappointed. After our purchase, they spammed with obnoxious frequency via phone and email in an effort us to purchase more from them and to "upgrade our account." We have asked them REPEATEDLY, via phone and email, to please stop calling and emailing. It never ends. Just got yet another call an hour ago. What's it going to take, a restraining order?

Wayfair made a mistake in directing me to use PayPal. When the transaction did not go through the money was stuck in PayPal. For compensation, they offered me a 10% discount on a future purchase. When it came time to use the discount customer service said the discount had expired.

Five months after I returned a rug I received a nasty email telling me to pay up or else. I had proof the rug had been returned and my credit card had been credited for the return. I'll never shop from Wayfair again. I don't need this harassment and untruths from the company.

Delivery Issues are frustrating - Ordered a shelving unit from Birch Lane, which is Wayfair - same company. Once notified that it was ready to be delivered via the "inside delivery", I selected a date and time - 12 noon to 4 pm. I called at 5 pm after it had not arrived. They told me it was running late and that it would be arrive after 6 pm. I told them it wouldn't be a problem. Then I received an email at 6 pm stating that my new delivery date was mid-week. I work and cannot just keep taking off on the chance they may arrive.
I called their customer service during working hours to get a different date and after 21 minutes of being on hold, hung up. I sent an email - did not get a respond. After reading through all the complaints online, I am starting to see that delivery and customer service response may continue to be a problem. Yes, they may offer better pricing on products, but the hassle of having it arrive, the amount of time I have to take off from work and the days lost waiting for them may not be worth it.

Wayfair is comfortable stealing from artists, they are currently selling 6 different pieces of mine and when I contacted their legal department with my copyrights, I get completely ignored. If you support artists you will not shop with these people.

HI, PEOPLE. DEC-18 I PLACE AND ORDER DINING TABLE WITH SIX CHAIRS. WHAT I GOT JUST ONE BOX. HAS ONLY TABLE IN IT. Their delivery guys told me that the chairs are in the same box. When I opened the box there was no chair. I call them and asked them where are the chairs. They told they don't come with the chairs. I asked, "Why you're showing them on the picture when I was buy the item?" Then I told, "I don't want them. Take this back." Now they are charging me $115.00 just to pick up the table. Shame on them.

Ordered a desk chair from Wayfair which had excellent reviews. When we received it, the brand on the box was different from what we ordered. I googled the brand and the item number on the box - was a chair that looked somewhat similar to the one we ordered BUT was cheaper and only sold at Kmart, Walmart, etc. Wayfair did not have it or anything from that manufacturer on their site AT ALL! Contacted Wayfair and was told they sometimes substituted if they no longer had an ordered item. I told them no... They did get to do that! They're supposed to come pick up this poor, cheap substitute and refund my money. Grrr. Very, very disappointed!! Make that angry!!!

I ordered 2 bed coverlets 1 in white the other in grey, both were exactly the same. They were being shipped the same day under two different shipping numbers. I received the white one and waited for the grey. When it didn't come I contacted Wayfair and was told that grey was no longer available and I would have to wait until July 2019. Wayfair said that the manufacturer messed up the order and only shipped the white coverlet. They said they would have someone call me back to correct the problem in 4-6 hours (that was at 11 am).
The person called the next day and left a message which basically said they were sorry and if I had any questions to call back. I didn't return the call as I felt it was useless. I received an email today (5 days later) giving me a 10% discount on 1 item in my next order. Well woohoo. I receive better discounts from Overstock for no reason at all!! WAYFAIR SUCKS!!! I will NEVER buy from them again!! Not to mention that the rest of my order was to complete the grey color scheme in my bedroom which I did receive but is basically useless now.

I ordered Ceri 9 Piece Dining Set, but Terrible! Send me wrong dining set that force me to keep them in my apartment hallway. And after neighbors complain as boxes were as obstacles for them I had to move them in my apartment. Boxes were so heavy and so big that took all place for my dining set! After all these trouble for several days that made me embarrassed in front of my guest for Christmas, they supposed to send me a correct one, but they change their words and said the photo of the listing is different color that I will be get! And they still sell this dining set with the photos that are different from what customers order!!! Totally cheating and scam! Buyer be aware! I never ever shop from this dishonest and I'm totally unsatisfied and disappointed! Stay away from Wayfair! Totally cheating!

8/16/18 I ordered Kosas Home Norman Reclaimed Natural Pine Platform King Bed thru Wayfair. After doing some research I found this Kosas Home Norman Platform King Bed. Everything was good but when the guys deliver the bed, I guess it was my mistake for not checking the packing slip and signing their phone app. Also Why did they not see that? It's their job to check the packing slip and that all boxes are delivered, right? I was in a rush leaving the house when they came so I did not checked and assumed everything was delivered.
I noticed later when I read the packing slip that it was suppose to be 3 boxes and only 2 boxes were delivered. I trusted the 2 guys and even tip them. Well big mistake, my husband was upset too, so I called Wayfair and told them what happened. So to make the long story short, Wayfair did send the headboard and even gave me a 10% discount and also added assembly later on since it was taking forever to receive the headboard I called 9/4 and received 9/24. The guys were very nice and assemble it all. It was time consuming but it got resolved. I would have given 5 stars, but all the worries and mistakes have to be accounted for. The Platform King Bed is just beautiful, good build and well made.
If you love solid wood and strong well made bed this is it! It is the natural color like the picture shows, exactly as I thought - just perfect! You will enjoy this bed for a lifetime or so. We just can't say enough our bedroom is aesthetically amazing! By the way it is huge so you do need a big bedroom for this kind of bed. ***** stars for the bed itself!

I ordered a multi-games table from Wayfair at the beginning of December (for the family Christmas present). This games table was initially scheduled to be delivered on December 13th, then moved to the 27th, then sometime before January 2nd, then back to the 27th. The order was "deliver to room of choice." However only 2 people showed up and informed me they could not deliver my table to my room of my choice as it was upstairs and they needed 4 people. They called their office and informed me I would get a phone call shortly to reschedule.
No follow up phone call was made. In fact, during the course of the afternoon I made 4 phone calls and was told again someone would call me back, but did not. They are now telling me that the earliest they can get someone to show up and deliver to "the room of my choice" will be the New Year. This was extremely poor planning on behalf of Wayfair and their dispatch team. I would never recommend nor buy anything again from Wayfair.

I ordered a wood and metal collapsible table for $99. I opened the box to find the table had a price sticker on it from Ross...for $34.99!! That’s ridiculous and told them so. To return it would be $27 so I took full store credit instead and ordered other products that I assume were tripled in price from the original price. I will NEVER buy from them again and we make fun of their commercials about their bargain prices.

I ordered a real flame TV stand and fireplace, website advertised the product would be delivered December 24th. I then received the order confirmation stating it would not ship until January 9th delivered on the 14th Of January. I called customer service. Spoke with a rep team Karen **. Karen made a bunch of phone calls. Found out my order would sent to a warehouse in Canada and that they do not ship to the United States. Karen then told me she had a contact at a warehouse in Ohio and that she spoke with them while I was on hold to have the auto corrected. This obviously never happened because they did not have it in stock and it was still shown being shipped from Canada.
A lot of promises they could not keep. I had canceled an order with another company since their ship date was sooner. Now I have nothing and was told the backorder on product was estimated to be February 28. It seems by other complaints this is common. First time using Wayfair and I feel I was deceived as I am sure others were. I am sure this is the last time I will use this company.

Updated on 02/08/2019: I ordered tiles from Wayfair on Black Friday (November) 2018. In December I got an email saying that the tiles were delayed until the beginning of January 2019. In the beginning of January, I got an email saying the tiles were back ordered until Feb 10. On Feb 7, I got an email saying the tiles are back ordered until the end of March. Are you kidding me. Wayfair's incompetence and lying is costing me in delays. NEVER Order from Wayfair. I am demanding $2000 in delays plus I am requesting the tiles be either FedExed or put it on the next airplane. Waiting to hear another one of their "I'M Sorry but... crap."
Original review: I ordered Cement tiles from Wayfair on Black Friday (November) 2018. I got notification that I should receive the tiles around 20 December, 2018. A couple of weeks later, I received notice that the tiles are back ordered and I would have to wait until mid January 2019. Then in the mid December the delay would be end of January 2019. On December 26, 2018 I got a call that they got the wrong color on the tiles and would be another 8 to 10 weeks! The inconvenience and incompetence this has caused is very expensive and frustration.

I ordered a kitchen island on December 13, 2018 and was told it would be delivered on December 24th. Then the delivery date was updated to December 21st. Then I received notice that it shipped on December 24th and FedEx showed it on the truck at 4:50 am for delivery on December 26th. Now FedEx says "No delivery date available at this time." Did it fall off the truck? Was it ever really shipped? This has been the worst delivery experience ever. I would not recommend Wayfair in the future as others have noted.

I have ordered a few things from Wayfair recently. My experience has been great! If there has been a problem, resolving it has been quick painless and even amazing... I won't say why, but amazing. I will continue to shop these beautiful items, and pretty good prices, shipping has been great too! I encourage others to check out Wayfair... it's the best!!!

I have ordered this TV table stand 1 month back. When ordered it was showing 10 Dec. delivery date. We haven’t received it on 10th. On calling customer care they confirmed it will be delivered tomorrow. Didn’t receive it tomorrow as well. Then the delivery date got postponed to 18th Dec. and status was showing as ‘On Truck’. We didn’t receive it for next four days as well. We called again to customer care and again they confirmed it will be delivered tomorrow. Still we haven’t received it and today is 22nd Dec. and status is showing ‘on truck’ for last 4-5 days. It was really bad experience ordering from Wayfair. Will not order any more items in future. Bad service, no clarity of status, false commitment of customer care. Very very very unhappy with the service.

After my review of 1 star, due to delivery, and service issues, Wayfair and I were on the phone together at 8:00 a.m. the next day. Wayfair got FedEx on the phone, and took care of the delivery, which I then received within 2 hours. Wayfair also refunded the extra money I spent on 2 day delivery. I must say that I am impressed with the resolve to my issue! Thank you Wayfair for your consideration and handling my issue.

I ordered a jewelry box for Christmas, paid almost the same for two day shipping as the jewelry box, and didn't receive it. I called customer service, and was pacified and told it would be delivered by 12:00 tonight. Well it was not delivered, tried to call Wayfair back, well they were closed. They close at 12:00. They don't send updates on anything, at least not to me. I should have used someone else online that I used before, and received better service. Wayfair seems to be another major player unconcerned about service after the sale. Quick to take your money, then slow to ensure satisfaction as they promise things that don't happen.

Shopped around for a recliner and found one that we liked at two name brand stores. We took the information and went online, looking for a better price. We found that with what Wayfair advertised, and placed the order. In the meantime, we gave away the recliners we currently have. The first recliner arrived with broken pieces in the box and was the wrong color. They left the chair with the promise of delivering the correct chair. Waited a few weeks for new delivery and multiple promises from Wayfair Customer Service that they would watch this very closely to ensure our product arrived safely and correctly. Once again, we made arrangements to be home for a second delivery.
Once again they arrived with the wrong chair - the driver called his customer service and we could hear the conversation on Wayfair's end - stating we ordered the wrong chair. We lost it at that point and stated that emails show that we have ordered the same recliner each and every time, although that is not what was delivered. Once again, we were promised that Wayfair would make it right, they left the wrong recliner, took the broken recliner and customer service called us once again assuring us that this would be taken care of. The next day, customer service called and let us know the phone conversation was being recorded and the woman started asking multiple questions that if she had read the notes on the order/case, she would know. I asked her why she seemed so confused and she acted even more befuddled.
She stated someone would be contacting us to straighten things out. Three days later, when I had not heard from them, I called and asked to speak with a supervisor. Another hour on the phone explaining that the wrong recliner continues to be delivered and perhaps the SKU number or ID number was listed wrong on their part. They asked me to take photos of the chair and email them - We did - later that day they called to tell us it was a manufacturer's problem and they had no idea how long it would take to straighten out - we are now 4 days away from Christmas - they stated it could take weeks or months - Mind you, they COULD have exchanged the recliner we were suppose to get with a better one but that offer was never on the table, although the second customer service person did tell us we would be compensated - they never even made an attempt.
Terrible Customer Service. After all the time we have spent with deliveries, phone conversations, photos, emails etc... we now have NO recliner. Days before the holidays, we have nothing and this company does not care that they put us through almost two months of this garbage. This company does not know their _ _ _ from their elbow. I will never deal with them again.

I have ordered quite a few products from Wayfair and was always happy with my purchases. I received a satisfactory order in September but suddenly when I tried to order again in October, there was a $50 fee attached. So I tried several times to order again even though I was purchasing over $75. Thought there might be a glitch in the system. Finally contacted their customer service to find that I would no longer have delivery free- $50 delivery charge! I do live out of town but that was never a problem. So be aware that there is a $50 service charge for anyone that does not live in a city! So the advertising of free delivery if you purchase over $75 is false.

I ordered a gift card on December 3rd. Was promised delivery by December 10. It didn't come. Called customer service and they all lie. It is now Dec 20 still no card. They all give the same response, ‘We don't know.” Will never use again. Absolute worst company I have ever dealt with.

I ordered this product on Nov 17, hope my kids could enjoy the indoor play during the winter. It said it needed a month to ship, on Dec. 11. Really? OK, I waited for a month. Then it is said this item got delayed, it has to be shipped on Dec. 17. And on Dec. 18, after several pending charges, it suddenly canceled my order without telling me. I ordered it before Thanksgiving but couldn't make it as a Christmas gift. If I could order it somewhere else, it will arrive on time and much cheaper. Terrible website and customer service. They blamed the warehouse all the time, but it is part of your business, not mine. Will never order anything from this website. Waited for over a month and you got nothing.

Item purchased was Hoop glider and ottoman by Storkcraft. The product received was a Hoop Chevron glider and ottoman. The product was returned and the company will only give store credit. I do not want to buy anything additional from Wayfair, so, they have the chair and my money. Customer Service says they won't do anything to correct the issue. Even though I've purchased many items from Wayfair in the past, this is the first time I've had a return and will NEVER buy from them again.

I think their deceptive business practices have gone too far. I placed an item in my cart for about $350 and asked an online question about the item using the question submission form they have associated with the product. They sent an email saying that it would take 1-3 days for them to answer my question. The next day they sent an answer to my question, but also raised the price of the item by $100!!! This is disgusting. When asked about this policy they said that if I had called to ask a question they might have locked the price in my cart; however I have called with product questions previously and the never offered to lock a price then. Also, there is no description of this policy anywhere! They offer no resolution, take it or leave it. I will go out of my way to NOT purchase from them in the future and I will be letting everyone I can know about their deceptive practices.

Ordered a coffee table in November. Was shipped the wrong item on Dec 5 - a light fixture!! Called immediately and they said, "Oops. Will ship right item to arrive Dec 13." Delay in shipping due to shipping issues (Canada Post maybe? No clue). ON December 10th when the item should have been in transport to arrive on 13th, I get an email saying Warehouse closed due to weather problems! Delayed until December 31st - why wasn't the product on a truck on its way to me?? Today (December 20th) another email saying out of stock so January 18th. This company is a joke. They are liars - I wish I would have checked reviews before buying from them. To this day I still have an unopened light fixture that I do not want and no coffee table.

I bought 2 Pamula accent chairs for my house. They were too big so I decided to return them. I scheduled the pick up on Dec 19 (yesterday) because I have a huge party today in my house. I took half-day off my job to be home for the delivery. Yesterday afternoon, when no one had contacted me I called Wayfair. They talked to the agent and confirmed that the pickup agent was going later on to my house. I Again called at 7PM but their agent office was closed. No one picked up the chairs, no one ever contacted me.
The next day I received an e-mail saying that the chairs were going to be picked up days later. I am very disappointed at Wayfair. I have a party today in my house and I don't have anywhere to put the chairs. I talked to a Supervisor and he confirmed that when this happens they do not offer any other alternatives. Their agent did not manage his time properly, I suffered the consequences and Wayfair is not willing to help me. I do not recommend buying from this site. Their customer services is very bad.

I purchased the Aveza swing chair with stand or that’s what I thought purchased. Package arrived and only the stand was in the box. I called Wayfair to find out where the chair was. They stated the chair was on back order and would arrive in January. This was a Christmas present. After 30 minutes on the phone Wayfair told me that the chair was not included. So now I have no chair to give for Christmas. This is all the girlfriend wanted. Thanks Wayfair for ruining Christmas! I will never shop Wayfair again! Very unhappy.

To me as a business owner that specializes in E-Commerce find it ridiculous for a company to charge and take the full amount of money, to not ship for 6 weeks. Here's what happened. Black Friday we ordered all of our appliances for our recently remodeled kitchen, with hopes it would arrive before Christmas. A $7,500 order paid in full. After two weeks we received our wine fridge and stove, awesome and no problem. 4 weeks later still no refrigerator or dishwasher, I ask my wife to call. After going through the prompts twice she is notified that one the products haven't even gone into production, and two that they will not be delivered until a foretasted December 29th.
That is 6 weeks from the order date, for a product that hasn't even been manufactured! Just for reference I checked Wayfair's about us, they don't even mention that they pre-sell items before production. Honestly, and legally they shouldn't even bill you until the products are ready to ship. They say that they'll give us a discount, but would not disclose how much, if they take care of us it will help, but it will not help with the additional time we had to eat out at Burgerville every night, or the huge inconvenience they've created. I'm only giving two stars, because the first part of the order was serviced well, but they need to live up to the governing standards of taking cash before shipping.

I have had both good and bad experiences with Wayfair in the past. My most recent was horrible. I purchased 3 personalized items for my granddaughters for Christmas. When it became apparent that they would not get to me in time for me to wrap them and ship them on, I contacted Wayfair and asked if I could change the shipping address. They said “maybe,” which made no sense because this was 2 days before they were scheduled to ship.
Without communication with me, they waited until the items had shipped, then cancelled and reissued my order. So the original items were returned to Rhode Island, then they were reshipped to the new address using the same slow shipping method, guaranteeing that they would not arrive before Christmas. I was never given the opportunity to pay for upgraded shipping. All this happened while my “case manager” was repeatedly sending messages promising they would be delivered on time. What a nightmare. Never use Wayfair if time is a factor.

Ordered a recliner on 12-3, they said be delivered by 12-21, which I thought was a little long being that I'm a delivery driver myself, then I go on check my order on the 17th. They said there was a problem - wouldn't get to my area around the 26th and then someone would call me to set up a delivery date a few days later. I told them, "How can you guys expect a payment when I don't have my product yet," and they still couldn't give me date when I would get my order, and no one could ever give me a straight answer, so I cancelled the order. Never going through them again.

I ordered a Christmas present on Wayfair on December 10, thinking it would arrive in one week. A week later and there Still no ship date and no way to track the package. Everyone at Customer service blames UPS. When I called UPS they told me they never received the shipment. Therefore no one can help me. Wayfair is unable to track their own problems which is a huge problem. I WILL NEVER order from Wayfair again. Poor shipping service and very poor customer service.

First ordered headboard was "lost in transit". No one from Wayfair ever did follow-up to see why the item didn't arrive. I waited until long after promised delivery date until I figured something was wrong and called customer service. Another headboard was sent out and the delivery truck arrived in a normal amount of time. But the delivery guys, rather than delivering my headboard, delivered someone else's headboard, plus 2 nightstands and happily asked me to sign for all 3 items. When I pointed out that they delivered the wrong items, they simply said, "Oh, those were supposed to go to the next stop on our schedule". Now I can see how the first headboard I was supposed to get was "lost in transit".

You add a product to the cart, spend your hard earned money to check out with anticipation of receiving your goods by the projected delivery date that's posted before checking out. Bought a new home, sold the old stuff and planning a Christmas party. But guess what, not only the delivery date was pushed back, but pushed back well into the New Year. This is a inventory and logistics management issue that's should be rectified. Now I had to cancel my order and look to Overstock who had been in the business for years and handles situations like this more accordingly. I will NEVER SHOP WAYFAIR AGAIN.

Total scammers. I just checked my Wayfair alcard account activity. Hundreds of dollars in finance charges and some charge called promotional revolution? I'm never buying anything from Wayfair again. All of their stuff looks like cheap crap and arrives broken anyway. I'm calling them tomorrow and if these charges aren't reversed, I'm getting a lawyer.

The 2 Wildwood lamps we ordered were originally back ordered. We were never given an approximate delivery date. One lamp appeared on our doorstep, but the shipping details indicated that a second lamp was to be included, even though it was not. We notified Wayfair that we were returning the lamp, and that we wanted to cancel the second lamp.
Several days later, the second lamp appeared on our doorstep. We notified Wayfair that we did not want the lamp. They issued a return shipping label, but on Nov. 26, we received an email with an apology that instructed us to leave the lamp on our front porch and it would be retrieved by FedEx. After two very lengthy phone calls and assurances from Wayfair representatives that the lamp would be picked up (which never occurred) we took the lamp to a FedEx location for return today, 12/12. We had to pay $30 extra for shipping. It has been a time consuming and burdensome experience. Additionally, I am vexed that I have over a $600 credit on a Wayfair credit card. I really never want to shop with Wayfair again, but I guess I have no other option.

We ordered a bed and a mattress for our new home, excited to get a Wayfair coupon in the mail as new homeowners. First, the coupon didn't work and we had to call customer service and get a new code for the discount that they had volunteered. That should've been our first clue. The bed frame arrived, but the mattress never shipped. After five conversations with their customer service reps. (several who promised us the mattress would arrive on a specific date) the mattress never came and we ultimately cancelled the order. We have guests coming tomorrow and the mattress (which was finally promised to arrive yesterday) never appeared. Wayfair's team was sometimes friendly, sometimes rude, always blaming the distributor. They gave us a $50 discount on the mattress what we ultimately are getting fully refunded. Now we feel that we have to watch our bank account like hawks to make sure that Wayfair doesn't lie about this, too!
