On or about January 21, 2010, I ordered item J28840 along with another item and my credit card was charged a total of $61.92. On or about January 25, 2010, the second item was refunded back to my credit card. Subsequent phone calls regarding item J28840 indicated that the item was shipped on or about 1/25/10 via USPS. To date, this item has not been received nor has a credit been reflected to my card. This address is in a secure residential area and mailbox theft has not been a problem. It is requested that records be checked and the item either shipped or refunded.

According to ShopNBC, it is too bad, I got ill and was in the hospital over 100 days and missed a $30.00 payment on a mattress pad. The bill for $70.00 was sent to a collection agency, after being discharged, I found out about it and paid the bill, and made many more purchases using flex payments. Suddenly 6 months later, they said I could not use flex pay anymore and despite not missing any payments, they closed my buying privileges. So I had to pay for anything up front in cash, which I did. Now, about 4 months after that, my husband tried to log into his acct to no avail. We kept getting the runaround for 3 days, saying it was our computer.
On day 3 some lady told me they had removed his email address and blocked it because I had missed a payment a year ago, even though they had record that I paid the bill. They told me to tell him to get a new email address. Why should we get a new email address and why should he be blocked for shopping, he has never missed a payment? They lie to their customers and act as judge, jury, and hangman. He did nothing and does not want to get a new email address to please them, this sounds like dictatorship.
I have recently did research on ShopNBC and to my horror found out a lot of bad stuff, about their credit dept and customer service center. I'm still making a coupe of flex pays on a few items, but can't even log on to see how much I still owe. This Nazi-like company does not care about the consumer, repeat customers, or their reputation. Buyers beware and read up on some of ShopNBC's policies, like their return or refund policy. They make you get documents legalized by a notary and won't even refund if you never got the item. These people need some lawyers sicked on them, and a class action suit initiated ASAP, plus you can find the same items for less elsewhere. Look before you leap.

ShopNBC keeps advertising Waterford that is not made in Ireland as made in Ireland. Several of their items are made in Slovenia. Most recently, I received item K34764 - Waterford Crystal Clara 7" Vase. It is still advertised on their website as made in Ireland, but it is not. It is made in Slovenia and the workmanship was lousy. The crystal was blurry in spots and mine had two small, but visible air bubbles in the glass. The misrepresentation of several products as "Made in Ireland" remains on their web site.
This is the second order that I got and was misled this way. There is almost no collectible or heirloom value in Waterford Crystal that is not Made in Ireland. Waterford is the name of an Irish town for goodness sake. Anyhow, you can buy Slovenian crystal, very cheaply just about anywhere these days. So paying more than $50 for a vase or bowl made in Slovenia (no matter what the label) has no intrinsic value over the long term. It's a bad investment. So far, I have a $156 pair of candle sticks that have a real value of about $50 bucks. Waited too long to send those back, so I'm stuck with them. I shipped other Waterford items back so I'm out $16 bucks for shipping.

On 1-15-10, I placed an order with ShopNBC for 3 items totaling over 350$. After waiting for almost 3 weeks, I checked the order status and found that while ShopNBC considered the order "closed", UPS had never received any of the items for delivery. I then called ShopNBC and was told that the matter would be checked out, and that if the items had never left the possession of ShopNBC, my credit card would be immediately refunded. I was a little irritated that all 3 items in question were now sold out, but as that was not the fault of any individual I could specify, I let it go.
7 days later, the status of my order had not changed, and I called ShopNBC CS dept back only to be told that I was supposed to fill out "claim forms". After which, my "claim would be submitted for consideration" of a refund! I was further told that it would take 7-10 days to e-mail me the form and another 7-10 days for them to process the "claim". How is it that an order that never left their warehouse, and was never received by UPS for delivery must now be "claimed" by me as lost?
Why am I being charged over $350 plus interest for what will take a minimum of 2 billing cycles to fix (and I’m not holding my breath on that timeframe)? ShopNBC acknowledges that these items never left their possession, but they insist that they must follow the aforementioned "procedures". Furthermore, the supervisor I spoke to, Valerie was rude and condescending. Just remember if you decide to do business with ShopNBC. I am not "special", therefore I believe what happened to me must be at least a somewhat routine occurrence. Hopefully, this situation will be resolved eventually. But knowing how poorly this company handles problems, I will not take a chance with them again.

My first ShopNBC purchase ever was this very expensive yet exceptional value Ferragamo watch in January 2010, with a retail value of $5000, and the best Internet price of $2999. ShopNBC had a great price at $1499. But a week before I have to return the watch within the 30-day policy (never worn), I found the exact same watch on worldofwatches.com for $1,124 with free shipping.
So I called ShopNBC this morning and asked them to price match. They refused even with very clear proof that they were being undersold. Back goes the watch to ShopNBC, and I will never purchase anything ever again from ShopNBC. Plus. I'll be sure to blog, Facebook and warn consumers by spreading the word about their lack of price match policy. Everyone in America today (even now Walmart, for pete's sake) will at least price match for 30 days. Except ShopNBC.

In late November, I ordered 5 jewelry items, received them, and looked them over and returned them all in the same box on the same day I got them. I only got credit for the return of 1 of the five items and promptly began calling customer service as to why this happened. I spoke to Cheryl who said she would file a claim. That was on December 17, 2009. I was told and could also see that the order had been marked cancelled for all 5 items, as if they had never been sent out from the warehouse and that they would investigate why and get back to me in 7 to 10 days.
I waited...nothing. On the December 27, 2009, I called again and spoke to Jake who said he had to put in an inquiry, because nothing had been processed and would call me back in 5 to7 days. I waited...nothing. I called again on January 11, 2010 and spoke to Shelly who said she would send an e-mail inquiry and that would take 3 to 5 days for a response. I waited...nothing.
I called again on January 14, 2010 and got Christie who said she would send an e-mail inquiry. And since I am now irate and am also still being charged monthly EasyPay payments for 2 items I don't have, I demanded a supervisor and was told she would call me back. One did call me back and wanted to know how much the box weighed from the return mailing receipt (which I have no idea where it is 8 weeks later) and said to me they are blaming me, insinuating that I did not return the items.
I am incensed! This is not a small amount of money, and I am not a thief. Boxes and returns should be logged in at their warehouse with packing slips, etc., and I have had enough of this foolishness. I want the money that I am owed returned to my account ASAP please.

On December 25, 2009, I ordered a Mitsubishi television 60-inch and a TV stand at shop NBC with order number ** for $1,499 with 5 value pay of $299.80 a month with $100 rebate. On the order status, it was shipped on December 29, delivery date of 1/4/10. I was told that somebody will be calling me 3 days prior to delivery. Nobody called. I was excited with the TV so I called Shop NBC on 12/29/09 to ask about the delivery and when to expect the TV. A representative from Shop NBC told me YRC representative is supposed to call me. If I don't receive any call until December 31/09, I should give them a call, and that's exactly what I did. I called customer service of Shop NBC. I was told that it's still in transit at the time so they want me to contact YRC at 1-800-610-6500 and ask for Katy for my delivery day and time.
On 1/04/10, I called Katy for date and time of delivery. She scheduled me for 1/5/10 between 10:00 am - 2:00pm and also, she gave their number in Benicia, CA, 707-745-3781. I cancelled my other appointments to be home for the delivery. I waited and waited! Nobody showed up until finally, I can't wait any longer because it was 2:30 pm already, I called YRC in Benicia, CA at 707-745-3781 and talked to Anthony. I gave him the tracking number of my TV which is **. He was shocked and told me they don't have it in their terminal and that it was in Santa Rosa, CA. Anthony told me that he will get in touch with Santa Rosa Terminal and he will call me back as soon as he finds out what happened.
I waited for a while, no call from YRC Benicia Terminal. I could not sit around; I had to call Anthony back. He told me that Santa Rosa terminal sent it to Tracy terminal that Anthony will go there that night of 1/5/10 to pick up our shipment so he can get it to us on 1/6/10 and that he will call me first thing in the morning between 7:00 am - 8:00 am.
Again, no call from Anthony, so I had to call him again myself. Shockingly, he told me that they could not find our shipment. that they will file a claim for a lost shipment. I tried to be understanding with this matter, and he explained that this happens and sometimes, it will just show up after a few days. I actually called Anthony from YRC numerous times on 1/5/10. He apologized about what happened with our TV and he has people searching for our shipment and that if they find it, he will call me right away. Yesterday, 1/6/10, I called Anthony again for updates. Still, nothing! I am very frustrated and stressed with the whole situation, I had to quit for the day.
Today, 1/7/10, I called YRC again. I was told by Labella, I think that’s her name, that they have searched both terminals and they found nothing. The lady advised me to call Shop NBC again to ask for replacement. She said things like this happen. Shop NBC normally files a claim with YRC, and they should be able to replace our Item. So, I called Shop NBC customer service at 877-283-9286 and explained to them what happened. The representative put me on hold so she can talk to a specialist. I was expecting that she will be able to help me with my situation. Back on line, she told me that they have to wait for 15 days for the claim to be filed. I asked her for consideration and asked her, how come we have to suffer in this situation when it wasn't our fault, and if we can get this resolved sooner. She had to put me on hold again so she can talk to the specialist one more time. While I was waiting, I'm thinking to myself, finally, I think they'll be able to help me. When she got back to me on the line, these are her exact words, "The specialist said it will take 15 to 30 days for the claim to process." I said, "What?" How come it ended up being worse than the first decision? Rather than helping me to solve the problem sooner, it made it worse. I could not believe it. Then she asked me while the claim is being processed if I just want her to place another order. While talking, she checked their system and said, “Oh, it's out of stock,” and she cannot place an order for it. Frustrated and much stressed again, I had to say thank you and bye.
A few minutes later, I went online because I did not believe what she said that it's out of stock. I went online and went to the ordering process. Just what I was expecting, “Item Available”. Such a liar! On top of that, I got home at around 8:20 pm. Guess what's on Shop NBC, advertising the 60-inch Mitsubishi 1080P DLP HDTV. So how can she say that it's out of stock! Please help me. Shop NBC is not doing anything about this matter. They were even offering me $20 rebate for my next purchase. I told them I am not asking for anything! All I want is the television and the TV stand that I ordered. The problem is supposed to be between Shop NBC and YRC Shipping. I should get my items. Why do I have to suffer as a consumer?

Shop NBC was selling the Sensa Weight Loss product. In August, 2009, I purchased a "two months sample kit". I wanted to try this product. I did not sign up for automatic delivery. Through their mistake, they kept sending me the product, and I kept calling and telling them I didn't want it. Each customer service rep told me they would stop the automated delivery, but the product kept coming, and I kept returning it. Finally, I received an email that I ordered the product on December 26th (I didn't), and it was going to be shipped. I immediately called Shop NBC, and explained everything.
The first rep was a male, and he told me they had many "glitches" in their ordering system, and the mistake was theirs, but he would stop the shipment. When I got another email, I called again, in between, I sent emails. The emails from Shop NBC were rude, and no help to me. The next rep was rude on the phone, and I then asked to speak to a manager or supervisor, so I could get a prepaid mailing label, to send the shipment back. They said no, I would have to pay for the shipment back myself.
I made several requests, both by email and phone, to have a supervisor call me. All of my requests were ignored. This company needs to be investigated. They are out of hand. Here I am, stuck with the product I have been trying to stop the shipment of for months. In addition, the product I returned was not credited to my Shop NBC account. How can they be so deceitful and rude? They ignore customer's requests, and just do what they want. Each shipment is approximately $73.00. It is not cheap. They owe me approximately $373.00 in uncredited returns, and how can I get my refund? By the way, the product is worthless, and a hoax. Please do not shop with this company. They are not trustworthy. The consequences are loss of money, unable to get any customer respect or satisfaction, and I was also unable to stop these product shipments.

On 12/06/09, I purchased the Invicta Men's Subaqua Noma III Ocean Quest Watch w/ Interchangeable Strap & Bracelet Set. The host said it was easy to change the straps and to carefully put in the pins. I put all straps on except the leather strap and when I started to put the leather strap on, it was difficult to put on and started screwing it in and it stripped. I turned it counterclockwise till I felt the click then turned it to clockwise and it somehow stripped. Okay, so I called customer service on 12/13/09 and explained what happened to the cs agent. She said, "Okay, fine; you can send it back and return it. I then asked her if I purchase another one if they would credit me back on the returned item and she said yes, I could do that. I said, "Are you sure, because I can't afford to have 2 same watches?" She replied yes and so I purchased the second watch.
I sent it back on 12/14/09 USPS $18.90 shipping. ShopNBC received my return on 12/18/09, and I received the new watch 12/17/09. Then I called ShopNBC to find out what's going on with my return on or around 12/19th and on the 22nd. They did some research and said they would e-mail the warehouse in Bowling Green and it should show up shortly. So on 12/31/09 a FedEx guy shows up at my door and I'm wondering why a package was here and it was from ShopNBC. I opened it and it was the watch I sent back and I was shocked.
I called cs and asked why it was returned to me and they said some scratches etc., and they could not override the warehouse decision etc. If the watch is defective and other people are having same problem and on my new watch, I can't even use the leather strap because it won't screw in properly and will strip the threads, then the product is not as stated. Go to ShopNBC and go through the reviews of this watch. So I am a little unhappy at this because now I paid approximately $790 + $18.90 shipping and I cannot afford to throw $18.90 to ship back only to get it returned to me. When you get a new watch that you're excited about, you want to wear it and it has a tiny scratch from wearing it. I believe I got ** and now I have 2 watches of the same color, make and I am out $420.00. If you buy a product from ShopNBC, be cautious of their return department.

I purchased a men's Jacques Lemans watch from Shop NBC. My husband tried on the watch upon receipt and did not like it. I returned the watch to Shop NBC exactly as I received it - in mint condition with whatever tags were on it. I spent $12 returning this watch. Weeks later, I received the watch back from SWI saying it was scratched and the security tag was missing so the watch could not be returned for refund. I called SWI and Shop NBC to tell them the watch was never worn; there are no scratches on the watch at all, and whatever tag the watch came with, was returned with the watch.
Numerous calls were made to SWI (vendor) and Shop NBC. No one wants to take any responsibility for giving me my money back. SWI (Swiss Watch International), the vendor said they have a picture of the watch with scratches all over it. I have the watch in person - there is not one scratch on the watch. This smells like a total scam. They do not want to refund my money and made up this story to keep from accepting this watch back. I have made numerous calls, to be disconnected or hung up on. Shop NBC - who is representing them and selling these watches says they have nothing to do with this. I think both companies are total scams.

On Thursday, 4/9/09 at approximately 6:00 PM, as I was watching ShopNBC I saw an ad for an HP computer. I was interested in this item as it allowed 6 EasyPays to be taken from my credit card each month. I watched the show for about 30 minutes and decided to order the computer. I called and placed my order. Shortly after placing my order, I decided to purchase a second HP computer for my son's birthday, so I called a second time, held for a while, and then placed my order. Both orders were placed with a live customer service representative. I received a confirmation email as well.
Today, I noticed the money for both computers ($200) had been placed on hold from my checking account. This afternoon, I received an email from ShopNBC that they would not be processing my order because they ran a credit check and decided not to send the merchandise based on the credit check. I called the number in the email and spoke with someone in the credit department. I explained that during the approximate hour I watched their programming, there was never a mention of a credit check and that when I called twice to place both orders, there was also no mention of a credit check.
I know my credit. I would not have placed the orders if I knew it was subject to credit approval. My complaint is that I was not told there would be a credit check; therefore, I did not authorize one. I'm offended that they would just check credit without my authority. I never provided my social security number or my date of birth. I expressed my anger that this was done with the CSR who said she would advise a manager. I'm sure it will go no further than her. In checking online, I see this is common practice with ShopNBC. Although not a huge deal, I'm upset that they can just check credit without any type of authorization from a customer.

I called them when I received it and they assured me that it had 2GB and gave me some mumbo jumbo. I said okay but later called the Acer support center and asked them about it and they assured me it was built with only 1GB, not 2. I called ShopNBC and told them I was extremely upset about this discrepancy and they apologized, but the only thing they offered to do was give me a store credit for $30.00. I told them the only reason I bought this computer was because of the 2GB of RAM they advertized, but they said there was nothing they could do. I told them to keep their store credit and I would never trust their operation or buy anything from them again. I feel cheated.

I have a Shop NBC credit card. I have always made my payments on time. I ordered some items on flex-pay. The order was approved. Then I received a collection letter that I owed $69.00. I started receiving up to 20 calls a day from collectors. The first thing I questioned is why they approved the sale if I was going to go over my limit. Then I wasn't sure what I owed, so I made two $100 payments and I contacted Mr. Ward via e-mail and complained to him that I continued to receive collection letters and phone calls beginning at 8:30 a.m. up until around 8:50 p.m. (just within the limit)
The letters and phone calls continued and were incesent, even after Mr. Taylor reassured me the collection efforts would stop. I have been current ever since and even have a spending limit. Tonight I received a call from a very rude collector, who said they are going to call me continuously until I pay the $69.00 that has been due Shop NBC since April. Their collection tactics have not only been abusive, but inaccurate. I would like you to take whatever action is necessary to support consumers who pay their bills on time and fine the collectors who use abusive & annoying tactics. We don't deserve this kind of treatment. By the way, I am a senior citizen. Thank you.
I go to bed early and have been awakened by them. My granddaughter has been awakened by evening phone calls. My daughter who stays with me sometimes says the phone rings all day long, but she will not answer my phone. Also, when the phone rings, sometimes it will ring up to 20 times. I can never go back to sleep. Sometimes I have to take the phone off the hook so it does not wake me up.

However there was no one contacted me regarding the computer instead they had withdrawn the second payment which is $139 from my choking account. I decide to call them after a month because they say it would take up to 30 days to get many back. However when I called them they say they did not received it at all and ask me for tracking # which I did not have at firs place and asked me to get it from the post office . I even tolled to the shopnbc customer service they deny receiving it I also ask to speak to the manager but he refused.
For the last time I went post office to ask how to get the lost items. You dont leave what she ask shoe ask the tracking # I told hear I didnt have one then she goes to ask were was I sent the item I told hear it was to the company and she say this is usual that companies take over the items that dose not have the tracking # and deny receiving it . I purchased a Serta Mattress thru ShopNBC. The price was $1,099.00.(King Size. The commercial was great,Fire retardent,So many layers, something to do with the space astronots foam,Etc. I had a simmons Mattress for 15 years and decided it was time to replace. I purchase the Mattress in November with my flex payments on my ShopNBC Credit Card Did not receive for almost three weeks. Well when we receive it I noticed it was a little shorter than my other mattress, I could live with that but after a month I noticed my side of the bed was sagging and it had a squeak in the springs. So I called ShopNbc and they said they were only the vendor and I would have to call Serta now. It was over a month so there was nothing they could do for me. Serta said I would have to send a Copy of my Tags from the Mattress plus a $35.00 inspection fee.
So I did. It took another three weeks for an inspection then I had to call Serta International to find out they rejected my claim because it was only sagging an inch not and inch and a half. I told them I wanted to talk to a supervisor and she said they would have someone come in three months to check the mattress again. I told her I wanted a letter in writing about this. When you watch the commercial it says the mattress has a TEN YEAR Warranty. I told this to the supervisor also. But she would not help me.
I then called ShopNBC and told them they should stand behind the products that they sell and I was told they are only the Vendors, and they would not transfer me to a Supervisor. Serta also said I needed to flip the mattress. I told her that it was a pillow top. Even if I turned the mattress around it would do not good. I do not weigh that much. Maybe 145 pds. After a close inspection I noticed the stitching is not right. Top is not like what I seen on TV. But It sure does look good on TV.
With money so tight right now the flex pay was a great option. I still am paying every month. I just wanted a mattress that fits correctly and is the product Serta says it is. If not I will never buy this product again. I will always buy Simmon. When I see them still selling this product it makes me upset. Serta did tell me I might have ordered the wrong size I told her that didn't matter the Cal King was the same price, and the queen, and single but it was defective. I also said it might just be one in a million but I received that one. Also told them that $1,099.00 might not be a lot of money to them but I expect more for that amount. Plus a $35.00 fee I will never be refunded. I again am trying. I E-mailed Serta International today. I don't know what their answer will be.
I have all my receipts,Tags, Letters, Inspection letter. etc. Never again will I make a large purchase like this from ShopNBC. Just think about Serta Internationl's address Golf Center, Hoffman Estates. Sounds like they are living good. Just wanted an exchange. Right Size/Product that they promised. Thank you Claire Rubianes. Customer Service (Right)they are just vendors. They should stand behind their products. I have never sent an E-mail to Consumer Affairs before. Don't know what else to do.
Serta is denying my exchange for a new mattress $1,099,00 plus a $35.00 fee for the inspection. Only have had mattress for 4 and a half months. There is a 10 yr warranty on this mattress.

Buyer Beware when it comes to this company. I have had more then my fair share of horror stories but just a couple of them. If you buy something on 90 days same as cash and use your ShopNBC card, they will withhold the full amount of purchase against your total bill until in comes due in 90 or 180 days whatever the agreement was. That means that you have that much less to spend with your ShopNBC credit card on any other future purchases until you pay that one off in full to allow that money to be freed up in your account.
Also, in dealing with ShopNBC in the past, and we are talking less then a month ago, they had always had a 30 price guarantee on any item. Meaning that if you bought an item and that same item went on sale for a lower amount, you could call them up and they would credit you back the difference. That in my opinion is very fair.
Just last moth, however, without any notice to the consumers either by email or regular mail etc., they went and changed the policy so that now it is only 14 days for the time period that they will credit back if that item goes on sale. When asking them why they said it appears that it's the industry standard now. So I guess the industry standard means screw the small consumers as much and as fast as you can and don't tell them until they ask.

They were eventually able to have the delivery intercepted and returned to Vizio, so it was never delivered to me. It took 2 months and countless calls to a not-so-helpful customer service department to get the initial payment plus one month's payment credited to my credit card, but they kept $90.00 for shipping and handling! I NEVER EVEN RECEIVED THE TV, PLUS I CANCELED IT THE NEXT DAY!
I am now out $90.00 because of a problem that ShopNBC has with cancelations which I think is completely unfair. I purchased a watch for my wife on value pays with promised delivery before valentines day, 2008. I made the order by phone and I recently changed my phone number so the operator updated my account. I kept checking my email and could not find the shipment however my credit card was billed. I decided to checked my other email address and an email containing the tracking number and confirming delivery to my old address of 4 years ago. I notified shopnbc by phone and email about their mistake and how they had ruined my valentines day. They told me they were sorry and I would receive a credit within 7 to 10 days.
Instead of the credit, I received letter with a form for me to complete attesting that I did not receive the shipment. The form implies that I am committing fraud and asked if I had filed any claims before and that they work closely with the police department! I am also supposed to get this form notarized at my expense and I had 45 days to comply. I tried contacting them and they would wind up hanging up on me. Since when does a consumer have to prove he did not get something? I have spend 10's of thousands of dollars with shopnbc and this is the way they treat a customer! I will never, ever purchase anything from shop nbc ever again! I worked for 30 years in a jewelry mail order environment and when a shipment did not arrive, it was up to us to prove it had been delivered, not the other way around. Shopnbc overcharges for shipping and handling then sends a shipment the cheapest means possible. It is no secret that the post office handles millions of items everyday and there are bound to be some which are lost, damaged or misdirected. If Shopnbc ships uninsured packages which do not require a signature for delivery, then they must accept the consequences for lost shipments.
I am currently out $68.00 with 4 more charges of the same amount pending. They have caused me sleepless nights with anger and anguish over the helplessness you fill because they do not try to help you. My valentine was ruined and they just don't seem to care!

BEWARE OF UNFAIR PRACTICES at ShopNBC which WILL hurt your CREDIT SCORE. In November I placed an order with ShopNBC by phone and used my credit card for a GPS unit they were offering on value-pay. I never used this company before but have been a long time consumer with QVC and HSN. After 3 weeks of waiting, I received a letter in the mail canceling my purchase due to my credit. (They DO NOT tell you they are pulling your credit report, which reduces your credit score, causing your interest rate to go up when applying for car loans, mtg. rates, etc.) I spent days trying to find out at Shop NBC what in my credit report caused them to cancel my order. It turned out, after much pressure by me, that because I placed a fraud alert on the 3 credit reporting agencies, due to circumstances out of my control, they canceled my order. I have EXCELLENT credit and their own internal procedures are to verify information with the consumer by phone and proceed with the transaction. What they did instead was: To treat me like a criminal.
They are totally apathetic on the phone and could care less about you. Don't bother contacting their corporate office; they only support their own side. They do not inform me about this credit inquiry which has a very negative impact on my credit report. The CEO does not care or else there would be some accountability! They refuse to reverse the transaction which would cost them nothing...but would do goodwill to a potential consumer.
I have written to the BBB of Minnesota asking if they could reverse the transaction from start to finish. Their response from T Millard, Credit Analyst Coordinator in the Credit Dept.: NO. ShopNBC did not follow their own internal procedures, canceled my order without cause and caused a negative impact on my credit score. I bought a computer V2 Premier which included many preloaded programs. After about 6 months the computer completely shut off, so they sent me a return box for me to send it back for repair. I received the computer back only to find out it was the motherboard. I used the computer for 2 months more and the same thing happened again, and we went through the same routine. They returned it to me for a second time, and 2 months later it shut off for a third time. Now it doesn't work at all. My computer has sat on my desk for 2 months waiting for a response from Viscom.
I called Shop NBC only to be told its past the 30 day return period and there's nothing they can do. I am not a computer novice. Customer service was a joke, the odds and ends companies they had me call (seems the computer is made by many) for some of the problems were unresponsive and at times never even answered their phone messages. On 12/3/07 I ordered a LCD 46 via the web from ShopNBC. All my information successfully was processed. It was stated the LCD would arrived by December 17, 2006. I checked the site daily for updates. My status remained in the In Processing state from day one until today, 12/10/07. The new status changed to Canceled. On another page it stated item would arrive 12/24/07. On Christmas Eve - yeah right. I was somewhat baffled and contacted ShopNBC by phone. I was told to call some other 800 number. After holding on for about 20 minutes, I was informed the account was canceled because ShopNBC could not verify any credit on me via Equifax.
I was baffled because I was under the impression that the credit check was only if one applied for their credit card - in which I would never. This made me a bit uneasy. I explained this is obviously an error. I was informed I should receive a letter explaining further. I received letter today in mail. The letter is dated 12/06/07. It stated something about my order being canceled due to credit info in my file per Equifax. Keeping in mind, I was already informed by a Representative they were not able to pull ANY information on me - this is why they could not grant me the value pays. In any event, I wasmad thatI wasn't contacted via email earlier. I emailed ShopNBC three times today and will await a reply.

I ordered a coat in November on flex pay with no problem after the first payment posted to my paypal. On December 1st, I then saw a desktop computer package on their site offered at a price of $799.00 with 6 flex pays available. I chose the six flex pays and got a confirmation of the pending amount in my paypal. After waiting several days, I checked my paypal account and noticed they had actually charged me twice the amount of the first flex pay, so I went to track my order on the shopnbc website, at which time I found out my ordered had been cancelled and when I clicked on the product information it took me to the computer but it had a price twice the amount from when I ordered it with no flex pay.
After calling shopnbc, they said I was turned down for the flex pay due to my credit. I then said how come you let me buy the coat on flex pay? He said he didn't know. I also told him that there was nothing that let me know they would run my credit and I didn't understand why they would let it go through and even pend to my paypal account for twice the amount and then cancel it with no notification to me. The customer service person acted completely bored and uninterested in my complaint and was reluctant to give me a number to call and complain to within the company. I went back to their site to see if they did post a notice about the credit for the flex pay, but strangly there were no flex pays available on any item that I could find. I think they are deceptively doing business.

My wife and I placed an order with ShopNBC for a Mitsubishi 73 1080p DLP HDTV & Stand w/ $100 Rebate on November 22, 2007 that was offered at a value pay of $516.66 per month for 6 months. When we called we had ordered from them in the past and the customer service rep stated that they found an account with my name on it but the address didn't match. I told the CS rep that this account was not mine and she went ahead and set up a new account. After placing the order and giving the credit card information the customer service rep stated it had been processed, and I would receive a conformation email. A week later I had not received the conformation email and decided to call ShopNBC. The CS rep pulled an account up by my name and had me verify the mailing address, phone number on the account. She then procceed to tell me that she saw no TV order on the account but only saw orders for 5 watches and a Pendant that was being shipped to another address in Georgetown, Tennessee.
I explained to her I did not order those items. She placed me on hold and came back and said she found another account number with my name on it as well and this showed the TV we had ordered with value pay. She stated that it showed no email address. I became concerned that fraud was being committed, and the rep agreed and put me through to a credit rep. who said it was just a "typo." She was rude, and I spoke with a supervisor, Chris. She explained when she called me back that it was just an error on ShopNBC's part and that my credit card had not been charged any fee's from this other account with my name and information on it. She also said that ShopNBC went ahead and removed my information from this other persons account with my same name. I asked her if she wouldnt mind sending the conformation (of TV) to my email address so I could submit for the rebate. She said she would. Well today is 12/1/07 and I checked my email and found nothing from ShopNBC. I called and was told that my order had been canceled. Again I am thinking that its another mistake by ShopNBC.
We went round and round on the same problems once more. This time, though, I was told by the credit department supervisor that ShopNBC pulls credit by peoples names and address for anything related to a value pay. Again its my understanding that credit can not be pulled without authorization from the individual you are seeking to gain this information on. My credit card has more than enough on it to pay for several of these TVs, and yet ShopNBC (because of my complaints about Maria in the credit dept.) denies the sale even though they advertise a 6 month value pay and verbally confirm my order was processed. I believe they are illegally obtaining consumer credit information without authorization along with participating in fraudulant advertising about Value Pays and need to have criminal charges brought against them.
I have spent several hours dealing with this, neglecting business, and also purchased over $1000 of equipment preparing for the new TV which at one point ShopNBC told me was being delivered on Dec. 6--before they canceled it. Not to mention if they did run some type of credit associated with the other address under my name, it reports to my credit file and could damage my credit rating--without my permission. If it had been relayed to us that ShopNBC needed to run a credit report for us to obtain this TV through Value Pay, I would have purchased it at a retail store and received a better payment arrangement.

I am a collector of Snowmen, but on 11/06/07, Shopnbc was airing two 36 tall Santa's (one red, one ivory) and I just had to have the red one. It was their first airing of the day, and I ordered it immediately. They had two more showings of the Santa's that night and I saw one more the next day(stating that they still had plenty in stock, and there were probably more airings of it that I missed). Thirteen days after my purchase, I received an email stating that they had over-sold the item, and that I would not be receiving it. After exchanging some emails w/customer service, they said that I MAY get one on Dec. 26th. What's the point of that?
I asked questions, and their reply was that out of 10,000 products, there are bound to be mistakes, and they made me feel as though I was the only one complaining about it. They would not let me leave a review for the product on their website. My biggest question to them was since I ordered mine during the first airing of the product (and they obviously kept selling it), why I wasn't getting mine? But I had purchased mine in the first airing. I also mentioned to them that continuing to sell a product that they don't have is false advertising and probably illegal. I checked their website on 11/20/07, and they were still selling them on their website; when I brought that to their attention, they put a big SOLD OUT sign across the image on 11/21/07. I know this isn't a life and death matter, but when you have your heart set on something, well...
I have not tried to cancel my order yet, but I read through some of the experiences other people had trying to cancel orders through Shopnbc when the item is in process and it looks like I'm going to have trouble w/that.

Several days later I received via email a form to complete attesting that I did not receive the shipment. Adding insult to injury I am also supposed to get this form notarized at my expense. Since when does a consumer have to prove he did not get something.

Spent 20 minutes ordering, gave my Mastercard debit number, and was told I would receive my computer in less than a week, and I think it is on its way! Several days later, I see a leather jacket advertised, and decide to call and order it.
I again, request the value pay option, and am told I cannot do it. I figure maybe it's because of the computer, and didn't think anything of it, and I pay for the item with my debit card in full. Well, tonight I get a call from their customer service dept. telling me that my order for the computer has been canceled! She tells me that it was due to credit! First of all, I never gave authorization to have them pull my credit, and never gave them my social or date of birth! And frankly, although I am a very successful business owner, I did have a serious illness several years ago, which caused huge medical bills. Had they told me that it had to be credit approved, I would have paid for it in full! So, of course, I cancelled the jacket purchase as well.

The next day it was no longer pending. Did not think too much of it since this happens with CC transactions. Kept waiting for a email confirmation and never received anything. Two days later I go on Shop NBC to find out that my order has been cancelled. I call and am told to call another number which i do to find out that they are only open 7 am to 4:30 pm. I call the next morning only to get a message that I would have to leave a voice message. My wife calls it and hits 0 and gets put on hold for 54 minutes. Finally is transferred to the credit department. My wife thought this was weird since I used my own credit card. They tell her that they cancelled it due to my credit. My wife askes How did you check his credit you did not have his Social Security Number or Date of Birth. They tell my wife that they checked my credit by My Name and Address. My wife calls 2 of the 3 credit agencies to find out that they cannot check your credit with out your social security number and dob. Needless to say I will not get the order sincerthey did this. Thing that grypes me is they did not ask to check my credit and did not have the information needed to check my credit.

On 3/25/06 I purchased a $129 chandelier from Shop NBC. On the last week of July the light started to dysfunction. On occasion it would work, it would some times turn on and at times it would not.
On 8/02/06 I called Shop NBC to inquire on what could be done and they said nothing could be done because 30 days had past. They refused to do anything about it. I explained that I’m still paying for this lamp and it does not work. The rep said “ sorry, nothing we can do”.

On October 22, 2005 I ordered a V2 Premier Laptop Computer from ShopNBC. I received my computer 2 weeks later on November 11, 2006. I noticed I did not receive an invoice along with this shipment. I called ShopNBC on November 15, 2006 due to the fact that I received no paperwork with this laptop especially no invoice included. I called again in December because I had not received anything yet, nor could i send the computer back because I would need an invoice for approval purposes before I send the laptop back. I also noticed the computer was beginning to crack on the right side and shortly after - the left.
Currenly the computer totally crashed only after 7 months. From the beginning I felt this computer was bad news. I totally hold shopnbc responsible for not sending the appropriate paperwork to begin with. Prohibiting me for ever sending this computer back. Now I have no computer
This laptop was a gift for my son who is now entering college. Apparentl he received a deffective laptop that he cannot even use and could not be returned to the company because shopnbc never sent an invoice when the delivered the computer nor when i requested on November 11, 2006

I ordered a grandfather clock over the SHOPNBC website. The order was botched three times, requiring three phone calls to straightened it out, and they billed me more than they agreed for first of 5 payments. Then the clock company contracted with a shipping company that was rude, wasted hours of my time, and could not be bothered to deliver the clock. SHOPNBC insists that I must pay a restocking fee for an item that they could not deliver. This was never made clear at the time of the order. SHOPNBC has made excuses, and generally provided abusmally poor customer service. If you can give me a fax number, can send letter that goes into complete details.
I have a $319 charge on my credit card for an item never received. I have wasted about 16 hour of time in calls, waiting for delivery. I get paid $50 per hour, so that's another $800 down the drain. Then there's the aggravation!

My husband bought a V2 Premier computer bundle in March, 05 for 2,500.00 which included a so called Digital Cameria, Printer and DVD player as extras. The Digital Cameria and DVD Player never worked. The computer from the get-go started giving problems It kept re-starting, freezing-up and could not multi-task after two weeks I called tech support and the technician, asked me to go-into the system BIOS. The computer was overheating, I was advised to not use the computer and they would assign a technician to come out. The tech told me that he loves working for this company -- they give him a lot of business, but that he would NEVER purchase anything from them because they sell junk.
We had to pay to send the computer back for repairs a month later after they emailed me the shipping info. The computer came back after a month in worst condition, than when It left. Software that came with the computer originally was not re-installed after they worked on the CPU. I Kept calling the company I was told had the warranty for the computer and got no response, kept call until my warrantee expired a year later, then they returned my call I was never notified about the warrantee date of expiration nor asked to purchase extra warranty. I was told I am on my own, and that I could not purchase extra warranty. I contact ShopNBC's customer services to loge a complaint and was told that they only received a small number of complaints and that does not warrant a problem.

On 1/6/05 I bought a new computer for $2150, with an extended 2-year warranty for an additional $160. On Apr 12th the computer broke. Through the warranty I was promised a refund if the computer was not repaired by 5/11/06. A tech was sent out four times, and I had to take off work each time. I have been without a computer for almost two months.
ShopNBC customer service will no longer return my calls.

The CS girl said no, I have a record you returned it. I have been fighting to get my bill figured out, now they have overcharged my 500.00 on my credit card, they refuse to send statements or to satify my account.

I was shocked and dismayed at having a $750 ring purchased on-line from ShopNBC returned to me with a refusal of refund. I have been one of their BEST customers!
A note was attached saying that their tag had been removed. This is true (the ring was too small when it pulled off) but I reattached and returned it in perfect condition the next day. They also said it was scratched which was not my doing. I did not wear it because of the size issue.
I was charged for damage I did not do and was refused a return, which took place immediately, because of a little mylar tag.

I bought a computer V2 Premier bundle in November which included a webcam and dvd player as extras. The webcam never worked. The printer stopped working after two weeks and the wireless keyboard and mouse had to be replaced. I orderd my account closed so they could not charge any more value pays, they have refused the printer I sent back to them and UPS sent it back to me at my expense. Now they put in to a collection agency and I have to pay for the rest of the 934.00 for the computer and a no good printer is sitting in my car along with a camera that never worked and the keyboard and mouse had to be replaced on our own.
Absolutely NO help with customer service. No flexibility in paying. No acknowledgement when I wrote them a long letter. I just received the collection agency cost. I don't think I should even have to pay the remaining amount but I fear for future action from them.

I ordered a 32" Proton tv with the hidden wall mount. When I tried to attach the mount to the tv none of the holes lined up. I called Shop NBC and was told that I would have to call the supplier of the mount. when I finally got through to the supplier I was told they no longer supplied the mount. After wasting 4 hrs I finally reached the correct company and was told they would have someone call me. This never happened and I finally sent it back at my cost which was $24.50.
Now I have a tv which will not work with a Dish receiever remote. Again called Shop NBC and was told to call the company in Calif. Waited 35 minutes to talk to some one and when I did, I could not understand him. I belive Jim Peterson who sells this product is dishonest enough to be a used car salesman. He even has my ex-wife beat. I would never buy another thing from this company. They are the worst I have seen. I have bought many things from HSN & QVC and have always been very satisfied with their product and their customer service. I hate to see more people get burnt the same way.

I purchased a 56" DLP Vivitek television. When the tv was not delivered as promised I contacted customer service only to be told to contact their vendor directly as ShopNBC has nothing to do with the shipping company. After many phone calls the television was finally delivered but the $300 rebate had expired. Again I contacted ShopNBC and was told that they would mail the rebate form and to submit the form along with the serial and model numbers as I didn't receive a UPC code since the tv came in a crate and shrink wrap and not in a box.
A form was mailed to me from customer service which was post marked 11/14/05 but the expiration date on the form was still 10/29/05. I called again and was told that I would be contacted immediately as to how to proceed. 10 days later I received a voice mail to send the information in and ShopNBC would honor the rebate since they were getting this complaint from several people. I did as instructed and waited. After about 10 weeks I called ShopNBC to check the status only to find out that the rebate had been denied because it was postmarked after the expiration date.
To add insult to injury I have discovered since I received the TV that the surround sound that came with it can only be hooked to the DVD player and not the TV itself. Another detail omitted by ShopNBC. As of today, 3/23/06 and many, many calls a supervisor informed me that they cannot honor the rebate but they are willing to reimburse me $89.99 for shipping and credit my account with $25 which is completely unacceptable according to the terms of this purchase. Not to mention I will never do business with ShopNBC again.
Damages: Delay in shipment made for a late birthday present for my husband. Not receiving the $300 rebate made this not as much of a "good deal" and extensive time on the phone trying to track and rectify this situation.

On Oct 1st I ordered a ViVItek TV. On Oct. 19 the TV was delivered. When ordered there was a $300 rebate. I received the rebate form after the TV was delivered but not the charge slip from ShopNBC showing the cost and when payments are due. (Invoice?) I received this Nov.5th. I mailed all documents to promotion company and they rejected due to lateness. I had called ShopNBC before Oct. 29th ( rebate end) and they said time was extended. Still No rebate.
Next problem, TV inoperable. Part on back order. Does ShopNBC have same rules about product reliablity? That is, if broken, then withhold payment to vender until problems are resolved?

I bought a computer system for about $2500. It wouldn't start up and stay on. Called the computer manufacturer's support team and got the runaround and they wouldn't send a return label with a number. This despite assurances that the product could be returned within 30 days. Made me call aol and Microsoft xp support. --they thought that the hardware was bad. Called the computer company again and they acted slighted by the suggestion that their product was defective.
They still wouldn't send a return label. Emailed shopnbc and was told that they couldn't do anything. Back and forth we went and to no avail. Stopped hearing from them until about one year later when they emailed and phoned to sell me an extended warranty. What a racket! Computer never worked.

On October 2005 I ordered a Laptop Computer from ShopNBC. I received it 3 weeks later. When the box arrived, I noticed it did not have an invoice and I wasn't sure exactly what the contents should be. I called ShopNBC because I thought there may be some items missing, but I would not know being that no invoice was included in the package. Weeks have passed and still i have no invoice.
I called the company again because the laptop has a scratch which is continuing to spread, damaging my computer. When I called ShopNBC, they refer me to Viscom, the company that sent the computer. At this point Viscom does not want to accept it back because it's been over 30 days and says that it is the responsibility of ShopNBC to provide me with the invoice. The invoice I never received. Now almost 2 months later, a second scratch parallel to the first is begining to develop and neither company will take reponsibility.

I ordered what was considered their today's special value which was a bundled Protron 32 inch LCD TV, home theater system, and a portable 7 inch DVD player back on October 14, 2005. I received all 3 items in about 2 weeks. However, the remote control for the portable 7 inch DVD player wouldn't work unless the device was plugged into the AC adapter. I followed the directions and had the main battery charged and even replaced the batteries on the remote and still couldn't use the remote to turn on or use any of the device's functions.
This is where it got interesting. I had sent in all 3 warranty cards as well as this rebate form that required you to have all of the UPC codes included as well as a copy of the invoice. I noticed that there was email address and a phone number to call for tech support for Protron USA. I tried the phone number and repeatedly I was placed on hold then disconnected. One of my calls lasted 35 minutes without any notification when I would speak with somebody. I then tried the email addresses and sent in my email back on November 5, 2005. It is now November 15, 2005 and I never received a response from any of my email queries.
I got so frustrated waiting for an answer that I contacted ShopNBC.com by email on November 13, 2005 and I am still waiting as well. I cannot understand this since the hosts of this show that promotes Protron products is always touting the fact that his company which is supposedly, "the 3rd largest manufacturer of LCD TVs in the world" provides 24 X 7 Tech support. I haven't seen evidence to support that and I think it is misleading.
I know that the equipment is made in China but I know other OEMs that build in China who respond promptly to customer queries. This firm doesn't even reply back to emails nor is it's phone number user friendly. Thankfully, the remote issue is a minor bone of contention but I am worried if something happens to the LCD TV. I currently on a 12 month no payment, no interest plan but I don't want to pay for service that I am entitled to or pay for a lemon.

Ordered a DVD, House Season 1. Received Northern Exposure Season 1. The Shipping label and invoice read House. Called ShopNBC and they advised that they could not ship the correct item until we paid for it. They offered a $10 credit which would take 3 days to post. Obviously, ShopNBC wants it's customers to pay for their mistakes. I certianly did not want two charges on my credit card for the same item. They wanted us to wait for shipping labels or pay the return postage myself. I don't know if NBC is affiliated with this company, but I hope not.
