I ordered a Valentine's Day flower/gift package two weeks before Valentine's Day for my wife. I get an email from FEDEX saying that it won't be delivered till Monday through an email. No call from PROFLOWERS! This is the one day to show the world how much you love your wife and I was counting on PROFLOWERS. Never again will I count on PROFLOWERS! I ordered flowers from YOUFLOWERS for both my mother-in-law and mother and they both received theirs, during a blizzard, on the same day and I ordered theirs only a week in advance! Needless to say, my wife was very disappointed to find out she didn't get anything on Valentine's Day! When I called customer service upset, the lady (Diamond) told me if I didn't calm down she was going to hang up on me...REALLY? ARE YOU SERIOUS?! I would like to know how any women would feel to know on Valentine's Day they weren't getting anything!

I ordered a beautiful arrangement of 30 tulips with a cherry red vase and it included a teddy bear and chocolates. I also ordered an arrangement of $20 that included a clear vase. When the day came 2/14/2015 and my mom received her gift she was very thrilled and sent me a picture. To my surprise I had my mother standing there with 15 tulips and a cheap looking vase. I called immediately and they told me that they could send the whole order to me again but until the 17th. I then asked what about the money I paid to get it shipped on Valentine’s Day. She said she couldn't do anything so I decided to get a refund. I will never purchase from this place again.

Look at all the pictures other reviews posted of what they received vs. what was pictured. I had thought about having these delivered to my significant other's work. Thank goodness I hadn't, as assembly is required. Basically, they fedex you a box of frozen flowers, your vase, and your chocolates (also frozen). Supposedly they perk up after 3-4 hours of being in the water with flower food. So unless you've planned 3-4 hours in advance, you're going to have some pretty laughably embarrassing flowers. I cannot stress how glad I am that I chose not to have these delivered to my S.O's work. At least now I have about an hour and a half to troubleshoot which will probably result in me having to go out and buy some more flowers. $60 wasted. Very disappointed.

Placed an order on 2/6/15 to be delivered on 2/13/15. Paid for shipping cost and the extra fee for guarantee delivery on specified day. On the day of expected delivery, nothing. No email, no phone call, no tracking #, NO FLOWERS. I received a tracking number late that night without any expected delivery day but the only info on it was that the shipping label was created on the 13th (the day it was suppose to arrive). Called customer service to question what happen to my order but all they could tell me is that they can cancel it, if I wish and the reason is because the shipping carrier did not pick up the package. It clearly stated that they didn't even ATTEMPT to ship it until the day of so how could they blame anyone else. Obviously it was a screw up on their part. Throughout the whole conversation with the rep, no apology for the situation. Company does not care about customers. Will not use them, recommend them to anyone.

ProFlowers scammed me into additional delivery charges. After placing my order online the website did not display my total charges before the submit button, so my $24.95 bill on the website showed up as $50.04 on my credit card PayPal account. To make matters worst I have to be stuck in my house 9:00 am to 8:00 pm all day on valentines day to receive my delivery without any notification from the deliverer.

When you pay a flower delivery company $70 for roses you expect HAND DELIVERY!!! Not ProFlowers. They were sent fed-ex who dropped them at the door, not even giving a chance for my wife to open the door. Secondly they arrived in a box not arranged as you would expect or as they advertise them online. When she opened the box I was embarrassed at what was inside. The flowers were wrapped the way you buy them on the street corner. When she unwrapped them to arrange them I was even more embarrassed. The roses were tiny!!! Most were small buds not even fully grown. Some not much larger than a Quarter. I've purchase roses on the street for $5 three times the size of these roses!!! BEWARE!!! DON'T BUY FROM PRO FLOWERS. YOU WILL BE VERY DISAPPOINTED!!

It is embarrassing. $44.99 for the flowers. $14.99 for the vase. $15.99 for standard delivery. $9.99 for Saturday delivery. $4.99 for special handling. $6.14 for tax. $97.09 Total. I received flowers for Valentine's Day from ProFlowers. They were the worst flowers I have ever received. The flowers were of very poor quality; many of the stems were broken or the rose buds fell off the stems when I removed them from the "do-it-yourself" assembly kit... very romantic. I have never been so disappointed upon the receipt of a gift and cannot believe that anyone would be so lazy as to orders flowers from this business. Read the reviews online... one man said it well "A great way to send a cardboard box to the one you love."
It is unfortunate that this company is in business and that celebs like Mike and Mike endorse them. You are wasting your money if you buy flowers from ProFlowers. You can buy beautiful flowers at your local grocery store at less than half the price. Men, if you want to take the lazy way out, go to your local florist's website and order flowers. You will accomplish two things... you will keep a local company in business and you will make someone happy. Needless to say, this is the most disappointing Valentine's Day ever!

Not worth the money. First of all they come on a Fedex truck in a do it yourself kit....so whoever you’re sending them to on Valentine’s Day (or other occasion) has to unpack them, arrange them and everything themselves. When online it doesn't even mention that. It seems like they’re going to come already made, in the vase and everything. But nope, they are not full or vibrant as the online pictures appear to be. A lot of false advertising. I ordered the rainbow long stemmed roses and they have NO red roses in them even though the online pictures appear to show them. They are Walmart quality roses for 10x the price. The only good thing is that they arrived on time... But for $20 in shipping costs they better of.
I am so disappointed and truly wish I would of looked up reviews before hand, but you don't really think of that with a website that appears to be doing so well and I've even seen really good advertising for them online on other sites. Don't be fooled, save your money and go to a local florist instead...or Walmart and make a nicer bouquet yourself. Very embarrassed to have sent them to my friend. The picture with "with chocolates" is the online version of what I ordered....that was my expectations, the pictures that follow are what were received. Totally unacceptable!

My husband purchased a 29.99 bouquet of roses (for me) for Valentine's Day. The description was a vibrant rainbow assortment of 1 dozen roses (including red). When the arrangement arrived, it was pathetic. I received 12 roses (none red), all pastel - pink, yellow, peach white. It looked more like an Easter arrangement. Half of the flowers were brown and on the verge of turning - 2 of the flowers looked flat - like someone had sat on them...lol. Maybe 2 of the flowers were actually in good shape. Very disappointing - especially if you are trying to make an impression.
Also, with shipping, the total came to 50.00??!! Honestly, I have seen better flower arrangements at Wal-Mart for 10.00. The only reason I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 - is upon contacting customer service, they graciously refunded the total amount on the spot. Even with the rapid refund, we would never take the risk of doing business with them again.

I, like everyone else placed a order online. We were sending flowers to a friend for her birthday, when I placed the order I didn't know she would be out of town. I found out a few hours after I placed the order. I immediately called and changed the delivery date. The CSR assured me everything was changed and they would be delivered the following week. Well that definitely was NOT the case. The flowers arrived on the original date and were placed in the DOORSTEP! To a home no one would be at till the following week! Luckily her sister was still in town and was able to swing by and grab them and place them inside.
Here's where the MAJOR issue came into play. The picture she sent of the flowers that were delivered look NOTHING like what we ordered. We paid $60 for this arrangement and it looked like a 2 year old went out and picked flowers and put this together. It was horrible! Half the flowers were already dying and it didn’t even include a 1/3rd of the flowers it was suppose to. I was honestly embarrassed for sending this arrangement!! So naturally I called pro flowers and what did I get??? A 20% off discount for my NEXT order. This was my first time ever using them and it was a bad experience. So I don't know what they were thinking to assume I would EVER use them again. I explained this to the CSR and all she could say was "That's all I can do for you." Seriously?!? So if you’re wanting to send a NICE arrangement I would suggest not using this company!

My husband sent me what he thought was a beautiful arrangement for our first Valentine's Day as a married couple. I received it at the office in a box and when I opened it I was surprised, and not in a good way. The arrangement was completely green! No color whatsoever. I had to cut off the ends, add water and plant food and arrange my own flowers. I called my husband and needless to say he was very upset and disappointed after I told him this.
He called and their customer service said that's how they came. I looked online and it does state they arrive in bud form but there's no way that these stems will look anything near like the advertised picture once they do fully bloom. They need to add more information and detail on their website so people will have more of an accurate idea of what they will actually receive. Can you imagine how a lady would feel if she received these from a potential suitor or new boyfriend?! We are married so our complaint is we're out that money and feel cheated, but do not buy from ProFlowers if you want to make a good impression.

I wanted to buy some flower for my beloved one, so I saw a good deal for $19.99 then I added a note with costed an additional $3 dollars. I was then showed the shipping options, so I selected the one for Valentine's Day. Ok it charged me a $9 shipping fee then I was like ok, then I selected the PayPal option and to my surprise It asked me to accept request for "future payments". I accepted it right away. It charged me $54!! I got a confirmation email and I was like what the heck?!?!?!
I sent them an email to cancel my order. I got a response not even addressing my request! So I called them, a rude lady with African American accent who didn’t even introduce herself said the orders are processed right after the payment. I was like how do you mean? She said the orders receive a tracking number right after the checkout. She said if I wanted the number, I said yes since I never got it through any communication so I tried to be as kindly and courteous as possible. Anyway I got off the phone. I look the number up. It didn’t exist, so I called back. This time a nicer lady answered and tried to help me out. She said that yes there is a tracking number and the order was put for "processing" so I told her about it. I told her that I looked it up and didn't exist. She said that it takes time for the shipping companies to update it, I said, “No way that's not true, you tracking works right after.”
Anyway they wouldn't refund my money even though I clearly asked right after the money was taken from my account. I have contacted my financial institution and checked on my PayPal and it says that 53 dollars were debited today from my account. No refund shows up at all. I am wondering if you guys charged me twice because I just got a notification that the money was again debited. I asked for a refund right after the money was taken from my account but was denied with a crude lie! I did not allow to you guys to just take whatever amount you guys wanted, that's not ethical! Now one day prior to the delivery I got this email from you, I appreciate your email but man, this is not fine.
I did a little research on ProFlowers and I found so many pissed off customers. I didn't find one happy customers - with messages like this one "ProFlowers uses the old bait and switch routine when it comes to charging you costs that they do not tell you about so make sure you check your invoice emailed to you after the purchase. A $19.00 order for roses will show up on your credit card as $51.00." How could you guys have such an unethical modus operandi?!?!

Regarding my Valentine's roses for 2015. Second time I used ProFlowers. I should have learned my lesson the first time. I paid $106.91 for 2 dozen roses to be delivered the day before Valentine's day, with 3 days notice. I paid $16.99 delivery + $4.99 guaranteed delivery on 2/13 + $4.99 care and handling. So $26.97 in delivery fees total! But I wanted the flowers to arrive to my wife's school on time and in good condition.
Well, that didn't happen. They passed it off to FedEx ground, put the vase and roses in a box and on a truck out for a regular delivery which obviously didn't happen. Now the package is sitting at a FedEx facility an hour from my home and my wife didn't get her flowers, which by the way I'm sure are beat to hell, she would of had to arrange them herself anyway. Ordered a "special" bouquet for $19.00. Shipping fee was $12.99, Valentine delivery fee $4.99, handling and care fee $2.99 and then taxes. So, I paid $21 in delivery fees alone for a $19 bouquet. I called the 800 number immediately and after listening to the prompts - was on hold for 5 minutes, was disconnected. Nowhere on their site does it say there was an extra charge for Valentine delivery, nor handling and care fees. If I had read all of their poor reviews ahead of time, I would have never ordered. I have used ProFlowers a couple of times. Every time I get their emails, there is this great advertised price. However, once you log in, fill out the paperwork and give your credit card number, at the last possible minute, extra charges appear. For example even if the website says "$4.99" weekday shipping, they charge you more - three times more! So, I called. Again, you have to start your order over again, from the beginning, go through every screen and then, after the customer service agent has you invest another 20 minutes - minimum - of your time, the mysterious charges appear and she or he tells you that it is because of this or that and that they have no control over it. The real problem is the reason for the extra charges is hidden until the end (literally the last screen) in the hopes that you have invested so much time that you will continue with the purchase.
So today, I have an hour of my day wasted and no order to show for it. If they had just been up front about the "actual" price and not wasted my time with false promises or claims, I could have made a decision up front. This time I just was not willing to pay the extra, secret-hidden fees. It literally more than doubled the advertising price. Dishonest advertising. Misleading website. Stay away from them. I know I will - what a royal waste of my time.

I called back a third time and got a woman who told me my order had shipped and I asked why it was shipped since I was told that the order had been cancelled. She said it had not been cancelled and could not be cancelled because they had shipped it. She then told me that someone would call to speak to me in order to refund my money and cancel the order. I waited till 9:30 PM and no one called.
The next day I called back and went through the same thing as yesterday with every rep I spoke to lied and claimed they could not get a supervisor and that they would cancel my order but at the same time saying that they could not guarantee that they would refund my money and that they could not guarantee that the order would be cancelled. I had an order placed and ready to go for 3 flower bouquets, all going to the same address. After completing the entire order including entering payment information, I was shown an order summary with not 1, but 3 standard delivery charges, plus 3 charges for "guaranteed delivery" on the standard delivery date I had selected, plus 3 care and handling charges. The delivery charges ended up being more than the cost of the flowers, despite all 3 going to the same address. The hidden and inflated delivery/handling/care charges are bad enough, but to charge them 3 times is borderline criminal.

I went to the website where it shows you a price of $19.99 in the beginning of transaction but when you finally get to the end you see the extra charges of Shipping and Handling as well as a Delivery charge! I called Pro Flowers and asked where I could pick up the flowers... their reply was "you cannot!" So I asked to have the hidden charges removed since it was advertised at 19.99 (with No Option of No Delivery), yet the total came to almost $40.00!! If you're going to advertise a price you must be held accountable for that price!! Please help me show this will not be tolerated and Boycott ProFlowers. I ordered flowers for my mom for Valentines Day. It was a sweetheart roses bouquet for 19.99 plus shipping it said with free chocolates and a free vase. When I placed the order it didn't show me all the charges. I received a detailed invoice via email. It went from 19.99 to 49.98. They charged me 19.99 for the flowers, -9.99 for the vase, 12.99 for standard shipping, 9.99 for Saturday shipping and 2.99 for care and handling, plus tax. So my Saturday shipping fee covered the price of the vase that I actually paid for!! This web site is a joke. Very misleading wouldn't recommend to anyone!!!! I don't understand why I was charged twice for shipping Saturday or not.

Proflowers has been running ads on major TV cable networks, the Military Channel is one. Their ads are slick & glitzy, picturing beautiful arrangements of roses, offering a 50% "discount" if you enter a "promo code", top-quality service & delivery, etc., etc. I "bit"... hook, line & sinker, & placed an order for one dozen "mixed roses" with a "free" vase. Total was to be $19.99. Once I placed the order, I received a short time later an email from this company informing me that, in addition to the $19.99, they would be charging me an additional $12.99 for "standard delivery", an additional $4.99 for "Saturday delivery", and another $2.99 for "care & handling"... "new" total = over $40. Quite an unwelcome "surprise", needless to say.
Livid, I tried cancelling the order on their website. No can do. I had to call them... spoke with a rep. I asked for a confirmation # and/or confirmation email proving my order had been cancelled. Can't do that, either. This is a bait & switch tactic, misleading & false advertising, & more. I live in South Carolina with my sisters, and we recently ordered flowers for our mom in Oregon. The order was (from my confirmation email): 30 Sweetheart Tulips w/ Rocky Mountain Chocolates, and w/ Glass Tulip Vase. I paid extra to have this order delivered on Saturday.
The flowers were delivered on Saturday after 4 pm in a box. The delivery guy knocked on the door, left them on the porch, and left. My brother had to put them in a vase. Tulips were in horrible condition. They wouldn't even stand. They looked like they were in the sun for a while. The vase was not the one we ordered. I am very disappointed. Out of all the flowers that our mom got, ours was the cheapest ever made. Never from Pro-Flowers!!!!

Placed order Friday AM for Monday delivery. Floral selection not available, notified by e-mail, fine. Monday at noon, receive e-mail to notify can't deliver "due to location". Spend 30 minutes on hold with Proflowers, 30 minutes on hold with sister company. When asked why no one communicated earlier so I could make alternate arrangements, I got a feigned apology. Told I would have to pay $40 upgrade to get them delivered a day late, the day after I requested after they failed to make the delivery on time and substituted the arrangement I declined.
Finally after much debate they agreed to deliver the next day. Well like a replay, the EXACT SAME THING happens again. No delivery. No communication. What a waste of time. I spend another 30 minutes on hold with Proflowers, 30 minutes on hold with the sister company. Finally speak with a manager who tries to say they can't find a shop to deliver it. Fake apologies again.
No response for why no one followed up to ensure they were delivered either time. I asked if they were so sorry why didn't they follow up the next morning to ensure it got delivered as they told me it would? A statement was made that they sent me a notification e-mail on the day after they didn't deliver again saying that they wouldn't be able to deliver again. Well, no such e-mail exists. I have no faith in Proflowers at this point to make any kind of delivery. I requested a refund, a formal complaint be submitted to a higher up, and a letter of explanation to my family.
Issued refund and offered a $25 credit on my next order which was later conveniently retracted and only the refund was issued. Requested they send a letter to my mom to explain what happened. The manager told me she didn't have access to e-mail as she was "on the night shift" and that was "not part of her job description". So I said you don't have a pen and paper you can use, didn't she want to go above and beyond given what I had gone through, that I had wasted 3 hours of my time trying to get this delivered which still has not been delivered and she doesn't even have the decency to offer to write a letter explaining what happened?
Then I could at least be able to prove that I did try to send flowers in time for my mom's birthday (who by now probably thinks I forgot). The manager then quickly said "I've issued a refund have a good night" and proceeded to hang up on me! I never once used foul language, nothing. I knew I was not going to have any resolution tonight, it's 7-8pm, all the florists are closed, but out of principle they weren't going to get away with not being held accountable and I wanted an explanation. I was also placed on hold several times during the two days without having an option to say no.
Proflowers utterly failed in this service attempt, prohibited me on TWO separate occasions from going with another service provider by neglecting to communicate with me on both delivery attempts, didn't take the effort and time I spent communicating to their customer service department to correct their actions or even listen for that matter (all 2 managers I spoke with cut me off or apologized over and over instead of listening). Hung up on me. The first manager laughed 2 separate times, 2 customer service agents laughed when I wanted to speak directly to a manager and when I refused to keep repeating myself like some sort of idiot verifying the order for 5 different people over and over and over again. Or entering my order number in the automated system only to be asked for it again on the phone by an outsourced employee.
Worst part is, had they just COMMUNICATED Friday, Saturday, or Sunday vs. noon the day of delivery my mom would have flowers for her birthday I could have gotten from another service provider. This is an absolute joke of a company. The last manager's "not in my job description" response was just "the icing on the cake to the entire situation, which I also told her. So typical, unfortunately. The fact that the first "manager" laughed 2 separate times at my misfortune, you wonder how 2 separate people like this at this company got promoted. They at least called my mom to read the card to her a day late just now and I did get a confirmation of refund from the head of customer care.
Still a totally disappointing and frustrating experience. Anyone from Proflowers reading, I was a customer for 5 consecutive years and had 4 separate family member reminders set up for different occasions, which I just deleted one by one and unsubscribed from your worthless, empty e-mail reminders.

If I place an order for an arrangement that costs $39.99, by the time I get my final total it's almost $65. Where does this make sense? $15 for shipping? Another $3 for handling? and a $6 tax? A couple of weeks ago I placed 2 Orders to be delivered to 2 different locations for 2 family funerals. They were supposed to be EXACTLY THE SAME IN VALUE AND APPEARANCE. WHY? Because I PAID EXACTLY THE SAME AMOUNT FOR BOTH ORDERS AND ORDERED EXACTLY THE SAME ITEMS.
Because I had previously used Pro Flowers, and believed them to be professional and dependable for quality and satisfaction, I chose them for this occasion. I am sad to say that one of the orders was both embarrassing and disappointing. Although the second order was not exactly as pictured (no blooming plant was included and the photo showed an azalea), the family was pleased with it. The first order, however forced me to apologize to everyone involved for my choice of provider. I wish I had looked up and read recent reviews. It is stressful enough to have to attend 2 funerals in one day. I thought the flowers were something that I could depend on being a fitting representation of our love and sympathy for the grieving.
After my 2 emails, the company responded to the lack of a blooming plant in the larger arrangement with a small (less than 5% discount) credit. They did not even address the discrepancies between the orders and the items that were supposed to be sent.

But even opened, this arrangement would not look close to the advertised picture. And, one of the rose buds just dropped off. They say the roses are from Equador, but I've seen Equadorian roses and they are large. No way. Then after several hours no update, I called back to check and the representative now on the call informs me it has been rescheduled to Jan 6th, 2015 and there is nothing they can do about it. To top it all she offered me a 40% discount for the next purchase. Really, dear do you? I would place an order again with the kind of crappy service you have given me. I asked for a supervisor and she puts a long never ending hold and the call gets disconnected. No call back from them.
Then I had to call back and they again repeat the same except for this representative was clear saying "If you want, you can cancel" (we would not mind on you cancelling as there are several other customers in line). I said no as my friend knows now that I had ordered flowers and it would be embarrassing not to receive flowers. I ask for a supervisor again and the supervisor comes and says "the best we can do is cancel or send them tomorrow. We will give a refund of 25% on the order. Take it." Why can't they understand a simple thing that it is not about money or refund, if it was only about money we would have not spend so much in the first place to order. It is the emotion that matters.
They simply are disgusting, don't care if they lose a customer. This would be the last order from me to them. They charge for shipping on Monday, for flower care, vase and all they get to offer is a discount. No empathy shown whatsoever. I usually don't write negative comments about any bad service, I feel mistakes happen. But the team there does not have any courtesy towards its customer which has annoyed me the most. I wanted to inform you, the florist you sent your business to is a joke. Flowers by Rogers Inc. They stated the arrangement was so horrible because you failed to pay them properly. I'd like for you to see what was sent versus what I ordered, I've attached pictures. But first I'll tell you what happened. I ordered flowers Wednesday for my grieving grandmother. I sent my mother to the house to wait for the flowers and to ensure they made it without issues. She waited and waited until 10pm when finally I told her to go home and called your customer service line. Your reps told me the flowers showed delivered. I spent an hour trying to get your rep to understand that was impossible so her resolution was they were stolen. Also impossible due to the community my grandmother lives in. Also offensive. Finally after we determined they in fact were not delivered, I asked what would be done for our inconvenience, she told me she would not charge me the delivery charge to deliver them Friday (today). I said I was appalled to even think she was considering charging me again for your mistake.
After having to be transferred to someone who could communicate better than her, that next woman - Solsa is how she spelled her name - apologized, after making me start from the beginning and explain everything ALL over again and said she would immediately email me a $40 future credit. Never received the credit, but that is ok because I will never be using pro flowers again. She also stated the flowers would be there no later than noon Friday (today). I send my mother back to the home to be there for the flowers and she calls me at 10am, she tells me to check my email for a picture of what had came. I opened my email and was immediately disgusted, so infuriated I called the florist. Their explanation was the Pro Flowers hadn't paid them adequately. Again, not my problem.
These flowers looked like they had been purchased at a gas station days ago then stomped on and assembled by a 2 yr old. Again, I've attached the flowers for your viewing pleasure. So needless to say, I've left a pretty informative review on the florist's website and informed all my local friends and family to stay far away from using them and will be doing the same for Pro Flowers. This is the worst service I've ever received and should have never given someone other than FTD a chance.

So now that I no longer have the time and resources to select the bouquet of my choice, I now have to settle for a random bouquet selected by a local florist. I am so completed disturbed, furious and outraged. This practice is so infuriated and is clearly taking full advantage of my helpless position. If I wanted to have a random inferior crappy bouquet sent to my mother on her special day, I could have chosen hundreds of other providers. I originally chose this company because I was able to make a specific choice amongst many arrangements well in advance and to be able to relax the day the flowers were to be delivered.
Moreover, after I had already paid for my purchase during the checkout process, they also sent an advisement that in order to have the delivery during 9-5 (not after hours) I would have to pay an extra $15 to guarantee delivery before 5:00pm. SERIOUSLY??? It is not even busy season like Thanksgiving or Christmas or Valentine's day and I placed the order days in advance, why would they not be able to deliver the bouquet during 9-5?? This company is outright shady and they play this game to deliberately try to extract an extra $15 dollars more from me. This company is unethical, deceptive and dishonest. They have caused me a great deal of frustration, stress and anxiety due to their dishonesty. I'm not a fan about online shopping, first of all, just because you really don't know what you're actually buying. Many times, it's a big disappointment, what you're buying isn't really what you get - false advertising. And that's exactly what happened.
I was eagerly awaiting a call from my daughter, since it was a surprise. When I finally got the call and the "Thank You", I had her take a picture of the arrangement just to see if it was the same as the picture when I had ordered it. NOPE!!!!! WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!!!! These flowers came in a vase. The arrangement literally was a bouquet of flowers that were dumped in a vase and delivered. There was no arrangement whatsoever. It was pathetic. It looked nothing like the picture. I sent the picture of what it was suppose to look like and my daughter's statement was, "Oh my gosh Mom, it looked nothing like that. There were so many beautiful arrangements there and this wasn't one of them."
How sad. I wanted a beautiful arrangement for my daughter and we got a pathetic one. Might as well just wrapped the flowers in cellophane if it wasn't going to fit into the vase and most of all, if it wasn't going to be arranged nicely. Note: The other companies I looked at actually had pictures of what one was buying - Good, Better, Best Arrangements. If you pay a little more the arrangement would be fuller and had pictures of the Good vs. Better vs. Best arrangements, so that there would be no surprises when received. ProFlowers did not show me these options, so I thought what you see is what you'll be getting. Guess not. Big lesson learned. To add to this, the chocolates that came with looked disgusting.

This is what Pro Flowers quoted as "filled to value" on an order totaling $54. The base price of the arrangement was $29.99 with significant delivery charges, and I appreciate that it requires time and money to deliver them, so I'm not complaining. This is a photo of what arrived. Beware that if you choose "Florist's Choice" for an order, there is no commitment by the company to offer arrangements that are comparable to other $29.99 examples on their site. Attached is a photo of what arrived for a memorial service. The few flowers that were in the arrangement were fresh enough, but it came in a bud vase with a lily, a few small carnations and a few other stems of stock, etc.. When I contacted the company, they first offered a 40% off my next purchase coupon. Promotion for another purchase instead of compensation for a poorly executed order. They then offered $5.99 as a refund saying it was a 20% discount off my base order.
I requested that since the order was 1/3 of the size of the typical representation on their site that they please refund my base order in kind. They declared that this order was "filled to value" and they only offered a partial refund because I said I was dissatisfied. This supports the stance that their stands for quality are not only low, but they stand behind them with pride. So....just know what you're getting...which may not be much and they're happy to claim their products as adequate even when they are highly misrepresented. Or, as in my case, not "officially" represented as I trusted the florist to make a professional choice based on what was fresh and available that day. It seems it's just a ticket to send very little because very little is "enough". The attached photo is a bit wide for the sake of size reference. The flower are on the table to the left in front of the lamp base, which is bigger.

The chocolates arrived covered in MOLD and were ROTTEN! The company gave us a refund on our order and that is it! I am currently in the process of contacting the NC health department's agricultural division about this order and ProFlowers delivery of mold ridden chocolates. We have never experienced anything so horrible with an order, and our daughter was sickened at the sight of this delivery. We will NEVER do business with ProFlowers again! In fact, they need to be reported and fined. We will be working on that so that no one else has to go through such an awful, disgusting ordeal.

BE AWARE THIS COMPANY!! Do not order flowers from them. I would give them zero stars but since it was required I had to put one. I ordered flowers for my grandfather's funeral which I could not attend so I sent flowers to my grandmother. But guess what, she never received the flowers and they kept calling me and telling me that they couldn't find anyone to delivery that day so they would get them to her the next day before the funeral. I was mad but agreed because I thought maybe it wasn't their fault, maybe it's snowing. So I called my Dad to see if my grandmother received the flowers and guess what she didn't!
So I called customer service and they told me they couldn't find anyone to deliver the flowers and I told them this was a funeral, and I order the flowers almost a week prior so they had plenty of time to find someone. They apologized and told me they would give me 20% credit. I said I just want flowers delivered and they said there was no way that was possible and they would get them delivered for sure Monday. (Mind you I ordered the flowers the previous Monday and put the flowers to be delivered on Friday the day of the viewing) I was so mad and upset that my grandmother was going to get the flowers.
Mind you I live in Florida and she lives in Indiana, so I found and called local florists to see if they had gotten a request from ProFlowers and I called 5 different shops and they all told me they did but unfortunately they turned the request down because they do not deal with ProFlowers because of their bad business. They each warned me to stay away from that company and I found a company who said she would deliver a nice bouquet and have them delivered. She was so generous and she told me they don't deliver to that area but she felt really bad and since this was a funeral that she would gladly do it. This lady drove 20 minutes each way to personally delivery flowers that she didn't have to.
So lesson was certainly learned from ProFlowers - never ever do business with them. It might be enticing because of the cheap prices but you certainly get what you pay for either no flowers, dead flowers, wrong flowers, and a whole LOT OF EXCUSES!! So I called them back after that lady delivered the flowers and I told them that I did their job and found out why nobody could delivery my flowers - it was because their company has a bad reputation and they tell me that certainly wasn't the case. I didn't offer but requested my money back. After fighting with them for almost two weeks I finally got my money back!!! Stay clear from ProFlowers!!!

I received an order last week as a gift from my cousin and I could not stop myself from writing to inform ProFlowers of my complete dissatisfaction and complete awe of what I received. The quality of the flowers is ridiculous. Attached you will find photos of my order. Is this how ProFlowers treats all their customers? After reading many reviews on here, I can truly say the answer is YES. These flowers seem to have been removed from the garbage bin and put in a box and mailed to me, or rather leftover flowers from a funeral. The stems are cut in all different sizes, I would have had to fill the vase to the rim for them all to receive water. There is even one rose without a stem at ALL!! The instructions also state to add flower food packets to the vase, those of which were not even included in the shipment.
According to your ProFlowers' guarantee "We guarantee that all our flowers, plants and preserved items will last at least 7 days or your money back. If for any reason you are not satisfied with the freshness of your flowers, please call or email us and we will gladly replace the bouquet or refund your money." These flowers are by far from fresh as browning can be seen on several of them. I don't have the heart to even tell my cousin that the money she spent was a waste and so are her expectations of me receiving a beautiful bouquet of flowers. What is even worse is that she not only ordered one bouquet but she also ordered a second one for my grandmother. Treating paying customers this way is called ripping people off and taking advantage of them. I am appalled by the order errors, but even more so by the lack of caring before an order is shipped out. One star on this review is one too many. I wrote to ProFlowers and got a response from CS Victor **. Nothing is going to be done and this will continue to happen to customers all over the country. I will never recommend nor use ProFlowers.

I ordered a package with Shari's Berries & Pro Flowers, where I was to receive 1 dozen roses & 6 chocolate covered strawberries, for Mother's Day. The "deal" was advertised for $39, but by the time they added in their various shipping & handling fees, my final bill for this "special" was $79.95. Which is fine, it was entirely up to me whether I wanted to OK the charge, and I did. However, this is what I got for my $80: First, they were apparently unable to deliver the package on the weekend where I live, so I had to have them delivered on the Monday following Mother's Day. Then, when the package was opened, I discovered that they had sent 11 roses, not the dozen promised. Still OK with it, not overjoyed, but OK. But then, even after following all of their instructions to the letter, we awoke the following day to find four of the roses wilting & dying. According to their paperwork, the roses would last at least a week, not 12 hours.
I was instructed in their paperwork, to change the water & add the 2nd packet of nutrients after 3 days. It turns out that it was unnecessary for them to include the 2nd food packet, because ALL eleven flowers were dead by the 3rd day. I wrote to their Customer Service dept., and received no response. After a week, I wrote to them a 2nd time, with the same result. They supposedly guarantee their product, but apparently their policy is to just ignore dissatisfied customers, so the guarantee means nothing. I have never been treated so poorly. From the "bait & switch" tactics, making people think they're going to get a deal, then charging DOUBLE the price. To not receiving what I paid for, then having such an inferior product, that everything is dead within 72 hours. To being completely ignored when I try to bring it to their attention. I would advise everyone to STAY AWAY FROM THESE COMPANIES! You would be better off finding a local brick & mortar, where if there is a problem they can't just ignore you.

I complained and they gave me a full refund, but the flowers were already out for shipping. So the recipient would be getting the flowers regardless. She won't be getting the "wow moment" of seeing the arrangement being brought to her, but at least she'll get a nice arrangement, or so I thought. This Mother's Day, I received a box of dead flowers from Proflowers as a gift. Contact with them resulted in their offering me a store coupon for any of their related companies. I received two separate emails from customer service making the same offer which I accepted in a timely manner. They then emailed me with a confirmation that the store coupon would arrive via email. After 3 days, I contacted them again as I had no email coupon. A third customer service employee advised me that there would be no store coupon and the sender had been reimbursed instead. This would have seemed fine with me except that I already had two offers confirmed for my coupon to replace the dead flowers and this is now a rather dishonest resolution.
I informed the sender to check on the refund as I had my doubts at this point. The sender contacted me because not only had they not received a refund but now had been charged twice for the cost of the gift by Proflowers. This took another contact to resolve and further adds to their disreputable style of doing business.
A fourth Proflowers customer service employee has contacted me again to state they regret the "confusion" but I would say this is a little more than simple confusion - it is very poor business methods, an incompetent customer service staff along with being a company with questionable integrity when they cannot honor an offer made (twice). Proflowers states that they are here for us 24 hours, 7 days a week, which is good because you really need to be able to reach this company if you plan to do any business with them or their related companies. I would reconsider any dealings with this company and if you do have any, expect poor quality and false offers.

I placed a Mother's Day flower arrangement order and selected a florists choice option and selected delivery for the Friday before Mother's Day. I paid quite a bit extra for the "rush" delivery. I rec'd an email later that afternoon from ProFlowers saying that the arrangement I requested was no longer available and asked me to make another selection. They gave me some preselected options, one of which, coincidentally was the florists choice (the original selection I made). I went ahead and made this selection, again, and received a confirming email that it was received and the order was being processed. Friday, Saturday, Sunday rolled around and no delivery was made.
I phoned ProFlowers on Monday (the day after Mothers Day) and waited on hold for 60 MINUTES!!! I spoke to a rep who stated that the reason the flowers weren't delivered is because there wasn't an available a local florist in the area that could fill the order. What!? Why in the world would this not have been brought to my attention when the order was placed, or at least very shortly after, so I could have made other arrangements? Needless to say, my mother-in-law was left with no card, no gift, empty handed on Mother's Day. This was totally unacceptable and very bad business. I will never use ProFlowers again! Oh, but my story goes on...
After emailing their customer service department about my experience, they had the nerve to write back and apologize and say, We apologize for your bad experience with our company. We strive for 100% customer satisfaction. With that being said, we have refunded the total amount of your purchase. We hope this rectifies any outstanding problems. Seriously! Of course they are going to refund my money, the services were never provided. Not only that, had they told me a florist in the area was not available, I could have made other arrangements. When I replied with that response, they wrote back saying, "we apologize for the disappointment and would like to rectify the problem immediately by sending a replacement order, courtesy of our team, at no charge to you".
I thought to myself, finally, some good customer service. I took the time to write them back with the info they requested, name of person to deliver to, address, phone number, day of delivery, flowers I wanted delivered, card note, etc. and thanked them for trying to make an effort to make this right. Believe it or not, yep, I got another response from them saying, "we apologize for the disappointment. Our records indicate that your issue was addressed per an earlier communication with another customer service associate resulting in a refund issued for $54.47". Are you serious!? What in the world is going on over there? So, I guess that means, no flowers are being delivered after all. Needless to say, they have defeated me and I no longer have the energy. Rather, I responded that I would write up my review online so others can decide if they wanted to use this company for their flower orders to their loved ones.

The second discount did not show on the confirmation of the second order. I immediately emailed ProFlowers and explained what happened. They got back to me with a lame excuse that ProFlowers did not allow two discounts on orders. I explained again that it was two different orders, but got the same scripted response about company policy not allowing two discounts. So, I decided to call and was told the same thing by a customer representative. Instead of blowing up, I explained very carefully that there was a big problem here.
Living Social cannot offer these discounts without ProFlowers permission. If they did not want customers to get two discount vouchers, they had to make that clear with Living Social. I explained that I was going to contact BB, Consumer Affairs, and my credit card company to cease payment. I also told the representative that I know she did not make policy, but that something had to be done to address this injustice. She, at first, said there was nothing she could do. But I persisted. I did not yell or get angry. She changed her mood. She said she would see what she could do. At the end, she refunded my money and I was happy. I guess the best thing to do with these thieving companies is to not assume that their representatives agree with the company. Treat them with respect and politeness. For $80 I got a cheap green vase and some cut flower buds with some flower food. No water came on them even. Some of them looked dead. When my husband ordered flowers for me he thought I was going to get the beautiful bouquet pictured on the website not green sticks. Very bad business. I called to complain and they did not offer to do anything. They just said "they will bloom", "you get to enjoy watching them bloom." No dice. He wanted to send me flowers as in the name and as is pictured all over the website. They do not picture the ugly buds you get.

This is the worse experience I've ever had with sending flowers. I paid for an expensive bouquet to be sent to my Mother's house for Mother's Day. I bought a bouquet with 6 assorted color roses & 10 peruvian lilies (each with multiple buds). It was called the "Mom's Smiles & Sunshine" package if you'd like to look it up. I paid for a vase because they don't come with the price of the flowers... And then $15 extra for them to be hand delivered. They were left on my mother's front porch in the sun and no one rang the doorbell. She was home all day and didn't know they were there for 3 hours after I was emailed a delivery confirmation. When she sent me the picture of them, THEY WERE NOT EVEN CLOSE to the same bouquet. What she got were about 20 awful looking filler flowers.
I've called ProFlowers 8 times now trying to resolve this. I was told I would receive a full refund because I do not ever want to order from them again and did not want store credit. I was told I could not have a confirmation number but to wait 5-7 business days for my full refund to post. About an hour later, I got a "confirmation" email from someone else at pro-flowers showing my refund of $24.19 which is less than half of my purchase. The rest would be in store credit.
When I called back to ask what happened to my full refund, I was hung up on twice, transferred to freeshipping.com once (who I don't have an account with and didn't use to place this order), and told by NUMEROUS people that they refunded the full amount, that there wasn't a credit on my account at all, & that I just needed to wait. When that conversation was over, I received a SECOND email stating my refund would be 24.19. Then I received another email saying "Thank you for your order. we hope you enjoy" etc...
Today I looked at my bank account, and NOT ONLY DO I NOT HAVE A REFUND... I now have A SECOND charge on my account. I called back one last time and was told someone from accounting would be looking into it and calling me back in 2 business days. I've never had this poor of service anywhere I've gone. It cannot be that hard to make right with a customer when they have all the proof in the world that ProFlowers is at fault. DO NOT USE PROFLOWERS!!!

I want you to be aware that I will never be using ProFlowers, or any of their brands again. Their pricing and delivery methods are outright embarrassing. I ordered two bouquets and both my Mother and wife had to assemble their own arrangements after they were delivered in a FedEx box. How a $29 bouquet turns into over $70 is beyond me. $35.96 in care and delivery charges is insane. I'm very disappointed with ProFlowers and will not use them again.

Over the years, the flowers that arrive have gotten worse. Poor packing, dried out and damaged leaves and buds, and now forgetting to included a gift card for Mother's Day. Flower basket was ordered, and for $5 more, you are supposed to get a gift card along with the order. My mother got the box, opened it with help for nursing home aids, and no gift card - "Who are these from?" Checked with ProFlowers and they advised me that a card was included - as per their email to me - but no proof of it. Offered to send a gift card 2 days after the fact... and 5 minutes of my life writing emails to them. They then offered me a $5 refund - by check - and that amount would be $4.64 - not a full $5. Standard email-cyber responses - asked about the receiving the full amount instead of $4.64 and they did not supply a reason. Very poor explanation. Different people responding on every email. I hope they drop from 3rd place down further in the standings....

I placed and order from proflowers.com on 5/8/14 as a early mother's day present. My wife got her flowers the next day which I thought was pretty cool, until she called me... She says "Thanks for the flowers, but you might want to call them." I'm thinking???? Sooo she sends me a pic and they are dead and even appear to be rotting! That was totally unacceptable given the Mother's Day Holiday. I called to get my money back and have them get me new flowers for the inconvenience and I was told that I can purchase new ones with my refund, ** that! Never again wasting money with them.

I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered but I read them right after. I decided to call and cancel about ten minutes after I placed the order and was told that I could not cancel. They tried to claim that there was a disclaimer that told me this but if there was, they hid it very well because I read everything on the page trying to get a total. The total with shipping did not show up until after I was charged and was double what I expected. Customer service argued with me and insisted I could see the total before paying but this was not so and I do not appreciate being called a liar. Supposedly they are refunding me but I won't know until next week. Not sure if I should order again from another company or not. Next time I'll read the reviews first!

I was not aware that the flowers would be delivered in a box. The arrangement looked nothing like the advertised picture. See images. The first image is the advertised picture and the second image is what my mother received. I will order from 1800Flowers next time and I will NEVER again order from ProFlowers.

I placed a flower order on this horrendous site that was not user friendly from the beginning.. After numerous attempts, I finally gave up when I saw the exorbitant delivery fees of $12.99... I then received an email offering me 10% off, followed the link and completed the order and was never given the discount. I spoke to customer service on 4 different occasions and was given nonchalant answers and promised to get call back from a supervisor which never occurred. I then called and spoke to the latest rep, Adrianne, who advised me in her very unprofessional street language that they are just a call center and they don't have a manager or supervisor and Pro Flowers only happens about 5 times a YR!!! HUH?????? She went on to still not even know my order information or name that I had given her three times and she completed a call back form. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE UNPROFESSIONAL FLY-BY-NIGHT CROOKS!!

My husband ordered me a bouquet of flowers and chocolates for Mother's Day. They arrived today in bulb form and the chocolates were melted. When I inquired to the company, the lady on the phone was rude and told me that I needed to give it 7 days to bloom. So I get to look at a bunch of bulbs and leaves for 7 days waiting for my flowers to bloom. I wanted flowers and I think when you order flowers that is what you should get.

I ordered flowers to be delivered to my 60 year old mother at her office saying "Surprise! Happy Mother's Day to the best Mom & Nana ever". What she received were the wrong flowers with a card that read "Motherhood is Real Sexy. Love, Pete". She had to send an email out to myself, sisters and her husband to ask if we sent flowers which entirely ruined the surprise. What's worse is that when I repeatedly called the customer service line to report the incident and ask that their mistake be corrected, the call did not go through as the number on their website is invalid! I have sent their customer service two emails explaining the situation and have heard nothing. ProFlowers charged me $57 to ruin my Mother's Day surprise. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

I ordered flowers for my mom thinking it would be around $28.00. They ran my credit card to $41.00 for all these other fees when a $4.99 shipping was transferred to $12.99. I immediately called to cancel and the girl said it was cancelled and I would get an email. I did not get an email after 8 hours so I called back and they said they do not send cancel emails. I called again and said I would get a cancel email. They have already run my credit card over $40.00 and I called my card company and put a flag and dispute with them. I finally ordered from a local florist in her state. I also have gone onto their FB and sent a private message that if I do not get an cancelled email or if it does not show on my statement the charges reversed in 3 business days, I will let as many writer bloggers know and blog about their horrible company. By the way, the lady on the phone said there is some tiny print that says you cannot cancel an order and I said I never saw it and my credit card is notified of their fraudulent practices.

The 50% off accessories discount WAS in the cart, but then when I tried to utilize another discount code, it went away. Although it says on the page "to return to your previous discount click here" that option did not work, and therefore it wouldn't let me go back to the 50% off accessories discount. I had already gone through Paypal to pay (which they force you to do BEFORE you see the total...BAD BUSINESS). JUST like a Bait & Switch. Bait with a 50% discount and then Switch in the checkout to NOT get it. (Luckily my accessory order was just a card and not worth much. That's not the point. Ripping off other consumers IS the point.) I advise no one order from here until they get their checkout together.

The pictured vase was $10, the chocolates $5, etc. So I just stuck with the basic $20.00 arrangements. Once I clicked the confirmation button, I realize that their delivery fees, care and handling, etc, brought my $20.00 up to $43.00!!!! Doubled. I immediately sent them a request to cancel, but from what I have read here, I don't expect any help from them. And now I'm worried that she is going to get a jar full of dead flowers, and my mom would NEVER complain, to save my feelings. I'm so mad at myself for NOT coming here first!

I recently ordered flowers for Mother's day from ProFlowers.com. I placed the order on 4/31/2014. They had a coupon code "SUM4" which meant get an equal or lesser value item for $9.99. I used the code, got 2 bunches of flowers, and the site accepted it. My final bill was $54. I accepted the order and provided payment info. Today (5/2/2014), I see that they billed me $92. I checked the receipt and they DOUBLE BILLED shipping and added an extra $5 onto shipping each time, they doubled that, too. This was done AFTER checkout. I called and a very rude person said they couldn't do anything about it, so I cancelled the order. AVOID PROFLOWERS.com, they are not ethical. If you do place an order, be sure to check your statement a few days later to make sure they don't over bill.

I was sent an email promotion saying that I would receive free chocolates and a vase with flower order for a certain price for Mother's day. I placed the order. However when I came to the order review just before paying, I was charged with fees for the vase and the chocolates, despite a header at the top of the order saying that I was receiving free chocolates and vase. I tried to find a promotion code, but there was no promotion code in the original email, but when I clicked on the promotion it said I would get these free items. I even clicked on the "use my discount" in the promotional email, but when the order review came up again, I was being charged for items that were free. It's very misleading.
I called the 800 number and the person I spoke to had a difficult time with her computer and couldn't even access the online promotion they were advertising, which seemed really strange to me. Then she said the promotions change by the minute. However, on the original email the promotion lasts for two days. She was pleasant and offered to give me a discount, but in the process tried to "sell me" a vase that I didn't want. It seems like their online promotions are very misleading and you can end up getting billed for something they advertised was free if you're not careful to review the order.

The first incident was the ordering process online. I had an advertisement in my email and clicked to order flowers for a funeral. On the site there was shown a 25% discount if ordering more than $29. My flower order was $39.95. The discount did appear on screen in the "view order" page. When I went to the "confirm order" the discount disappeared. Since this was the last and final ordering page, I called the customer service department in order to get my 25% discount. The 1st customer service rep told me the order wasn't in the system yet and I needed to call back in 1/2 hour or more. I called back in 45 minutes and that customer service rep told me they didn't have a 25% discount, but she "could" give me a 20% discount. Reluctantly I accepted and she refunded my credit card the discount.
The 2nd and most horrible experience was... the next morning (day of the funeral), I get an email from Pro Flowers telling me that they can't deliver the arrangement I had picked out. (I had picked out several arrangements on their website which told me they could not get delivered in time, but the one I finally picked was OK for delivery on Saturday.) I had paid extra to get the flowers delivered the next day and paid even more extra to have a morning delivery. I immediately called customer service AGAIN and was told that they couldn't deliver the flowers that day, but they "could" deliver them on Monday! The funeral was on Saturday. I did get the obligatory "I'm sorry", but that doesn't help. My only recourse was to cancel the order. This was very embarrassing to me and my family because we couldn't be there for the funeral and wanted to show our respect for the friends who had died. They don't even know that we TRIED to send flowers.
