I have not been contacted regarding full refund. The shoes I ordered were a 10 and I was shipped an 11. Since this was my first order, I was given a did pint on the shoes. Refund was not an option when I printed out the return label. The only option was exchange so I used that label and immediately called customer service. I was told I was unable to receive a full refund (without a restocking fee) because I used the wrong label. This is poor customer service. In comments, I stated the situation on the label which was already mailed on 3/15/13. I have requested an email stating this matter will be resolved and a full refund will be credited to my credit card. I have not received it yet. This is unacceptable when the problem started when I ordered a 10 and was shipped an 11.

I was unaware that this was a monthly "club" and I would be continuously charged regardless of whether or not I selected an item to purchase. I placed my order one week ago, and when it arrived today, along with a letter detailing my financial obligations unless I cancelled, I called to cancel my order. The customer service representative was very very rude. She informed me that I "could not" cancel my account and that it was "not permitted." I repeatedly, and very politely, requested that my membership be cancelled. She finally told me that my membership had been cancelled, but I don't believe her.

I asked for a confirmation number and was given 3 different confirmation numbers each time I tried to verify the one that she had given me. The representative repeatedly interrupted me when I did not satisfactorily answer her questions such as, "Can't you just go online and see that you can't just cancel your membership after your first order? Didn't you see that there is a price difference when you ordered your shoes? Can't you just see that? Tell me, didn't you see that when you made your order you can't cancel your membership?" I would not recommend JustFab, and their customer service is horrid.

    Hi Kate,

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. First and foremost, we would like to apologize on behalf of our Fashion Consultant's behavior. Our customer service is very important to us and your information has been forwarded to our Quality Assurance Manager for further review and the proper training will be implemented. Also, we would like to reiterate that JustFab is a shoe and handbag of the month club. We apologize for the confusion as to how our VIP membership works. Once you've made your first purchase, you automatically become a VIP member. As a VIP member, there is no obligation to purchase every month. All you have to do is log-in to your boutique every 1st to the 5th day of each month to choose to skip the month, and no credit will be generated. However, if you forget to skip the month, a store credit worth $39.95 will be issued to your account, which is good toward your next purchase.

Okay, 2 days after I have made my purchase, being happy and all, I told a girlfriend and she told me accidentally what happened to her and I checked for online complaints and I came across this website. Man, I was pissed. I called them and explained, and they were like, "Yes, you’re supposed to read." Anyway, I asked whether I would get charged if I skipped for the months. They said no and that I get email reminders. Well, I’m waiting to see for the next 2 months. In any case, I am stopping my credit card until then. If they want to sue me, they can go ahead and do that. But I don’t like being lied to. I was looking at the fine prints and I did not see it. My guess is they took it out to have me sign, but I didn’t want to say, so I just said to make it bold so people know what they are signing for, and I told them about the complaints online here too. Hope they change their ways. I will be waiting to see how I’m treated and I hope what I bought is worth it. I shall update in 2 months.

I ordered from JustFab and was very happy with my purchases. The following month (March 13 to be exact), I received an email stating that I had credit waiting, but I had the option to skip the month as long as I responded by March 5th. Being that March 5th had long since passed, and I had no idea what the email was talking about, I ignored it. The following day, I noticed that a $39.95 charge had been placed on my account. The operator explained that the only way that I would be refunded the $39.95 is if I responded by March 5th. I explained that I was not made aware of the charge until March 13.

She explained that she was sorry about that, but that there was nothing that could be done. The only way I could receive a refund is if I stay a member. I told her that I did not agree to allow JustFab to keep my credit card information stored. She said that there was nothing that she could do. In order to cancel my account, I had to pay the $39.95. If I stayed a member, I would have to inform the website each month, by the fifth, if I want to make a purchase or not. Needless to say, I cancelled my account. I highly recommend that no one do business with this company!

What a scam! I had to read the terms of service twice to find where the one sentence about this VIP membership was located. I have filed complaints with the BBB and the attorney general's office in both California (their corporate headquarters) and my own state. This needs to be stopped - there is no reason why truth-in-advertising does not apply to this company. Buyer beware!

When I first ordered from justfab.com, I was unhappy with my order. I purchased the Pantheon Bag which displayed in canary yellow online. Once my bag arrived (within a timely manner), I was surprised to find out that the bag was actually a mustard yellow. I shrugged it off because yellow is my favorite color so it didn't bother me as much.

Today while checking my bank statement online, I noticed a $39.95 charge from justfab.com. When I called, a rep explained to me it’s a member fee that I agreed to when checking out during my last order (which I have no recollection of). I told the rep I was unhappy with JustFab, and I do not want to be a member. The rep explained that it was too soon to cancel my membership and that I would have to wait a month. I hung up on the rude rep and called again, where another rep tried to give me the same scheme. I eventually was able to get refunded after hassling with the woman about the membership. I'll never shop here again. The bag is cheap and not worth $40, plus it is already ripping at the handle! I've only had this bag for a month. Don't shop here!

    Hi Jenna,

We truly apologize for your experience. We would like to reiterate that JustFab is a shoe and handbag of the month club. We're sorry for the confusion as to how our VIP membership works. Once you've made your initial purchase you become a VIP member. Being a VIP doesn't require you to purchase each month. You can opt out by skipping the month, and if you forget to skip the 1st to the 5th of every month, a $39.95 credit is issued to your boutique, good toward any item as stated in the terms and conditions before you check out your first purchase. We have reviewed your account and we have seen that you made your 1st purchase on February 1, 2013 for the Pantheon bag. Due to no action in your boutique, you were issued 1 membership credit, with which you have already refunded on March 13, 2013. Since your account is still active and no skipping of the month was done, JustFab tried to charge you for the months of April 2013-October 2012, but your credit card declined, which means that nothing was charged to you. Due to the escalation of your issue, someone from our team will contact you shortly via e-mail to further assist you with your situation. I can’t really even begin to say how disappointed I am with my experience with them! I purchased a pair of shoes that I was very excited to get and when they got here, they looked like I could have gotten them at the dollar store. Then when I tried to return them with the free returns and exchanges, they informed me that it’s free exchanges and if I want to have a refund, they are going to charge me. Ugh! Then, because their service is a monthly subscription, they told me that I should not cancel my subscription because it could cause problems with the refund. I said, "Ok, I’ll wait until I get my refund," Today, I checked my bank account to find not only no refund but a $39.95 charge for their service. I called and they said, "Well, the refund has been processed so you’ll have to contact your bank." Seriously?! Now I’m stuck waiting for two refunds. I will never, never, never recommend this company and never use them again! Don’t do it!

    Hi Natalia,

We apologize for any confusion regarding our return and exchange policy. We would like to inform you that items that are to be returned for an exchange is free, but items that are to be returned for a refund requires us to charge a restocking fee. Items exchanged for another item or returned for a credit are not charged a restocking fee. We have reviewed your account and we have seen that you've made your 1st purchase on February 10, 2013 for the Marguerite shoe. Now, due to no action in your boutique, you were issued 1 membership credit for the month of March, with which has already been given to you as a courtesy refund on March 13, 2013. Not only do they fight with you to cancel your account, but they are incredibly disrespectful. I have never in my life been rude to a customer service rep until today. I was constantly interrupted, and I was told that I was wrong over and over. I called on last Friday to cancel my account, but was told that I had a payment pending so I would have to wait until it posted to cancel. When calling back today to cancel (after my payment had posted), I was told that the woman I talked to on Friday (I talked to a man) had cancelled my account and already given my refund. When trying to explain that that was not at all what happened, I was constantly interrupted and spoken to like a child. He promptly cut me off when I asked for a manager. I strongly advise people to avoid this circus. If you want a successful company, you need people who are compassionate and will listen, not total disrespectful morons.

I only wish I researched JustFab.com on this website and BBB before becoming a member. The two pairs of shoes and one handbag I have purchased through them were lacking in terms of quality (cheap materials, uncomfortable soles, etc). I found it odd that each of these products came with stellar 5-star reviews, so I wrote realistic reviews of these three products. Needless to say, I never saw any of those comments published online. Delving further, every single product they offer has fantastic reviews. That's when I became skeptical. Then, I was automatically upgraded to the VIP membership status. I noticed it became harder to find where the Skip This Month option was located on the website. Finally, I decided the poor quality of the merchandise and hassle of having to skip each month, if there wasn't an option I liked, was too cumbersome.

I first emailed inquiring how to cancel my membership. They say that they will get back to you within one business day. After not getting a response for over a week, I called their non-1-800 number. I've attached an image displaying all call (read: wait) times from just this morning. I waited over an hour to speak with a customer service representative to no avail. I pressed option 1 like other reviewers mentioned too, but nothing helped. Trying the online chat function, hoping for some answers, I also waited awhile to connect with a representative twice. The first time Violet said they were unable to answer right away because they are seeing a huge response to current collections. I'm going to try again tonight, after normal business hours, and hopefully get a human on the phone to finally cancel my account. I've also posted a complaint with BBB (no idea how they have an A rating) and with my bank.

I was charged two months in a row for apparently becoming a VIP member. I was not aware that I was joining and becoming a VIP member when I purchased a pair of shoes. I thought I was only purchasing a pair of shoes. When I called to get my $80 back (two $40 monthly fees), I was informed they could only credit me one of the months. They do not have the ability to credit me both back. This is not true. I looked into it and they have the capability to credit both fees back to me; they just did not want to. I called on two separate occasions to cancel my membership because I simply did not want to risk getting charged another $40, and somehow, each time, the customer service rep I spoke to confused me and attempted relentlessly to convince me to keep the account.

I was very clear about my intentions, so now I think my account is deactivated. In addition, I was on hold for an incredibly long time each call, perhaps because so many people were calling to complain about similar issues? I have been keeping an eye on my bank account and do not see any more $40 charges coming out. This company is shady and operates by using small text and obnoxious reps. Do not sign up or purchase items from them, because it will cause you a great deal of frustration.

I wouldn't say what they are doing is fraudulent or illegal by any means. Unlike everyone else on here, I actually read the terms and conditions which clearly state they will continue to charge you $39.95 every month whether you buy anything or not. I decided not to buy anything from them. I'm giving them one star because I didn't feel like canceling my membership right after I buy the shoes to avoid being charged every month. But I mean come on, people! Read the terms and conditions before you buy anything online. You have to click that box that says you agree to them. You should have read them. It is a common sense issue going on here with all these other reviewers. But anyway, if you buy a pair of shoes every month, it is a good deal. They have cute shoes.

I told her I don't care what she has to offer, I want to be cancelled and now! She refused. I know I am so beside myself that if she were in front of me, I would probably hurt her. I asked to speak to a manager. She said she had none available. I told her I would wait since she had already wasted my valuable time. Another woman came on, who remarkably sounded the same. She said I must listen to her or she wouldn't cancel me. I was so appalled. I hung up. The best way to handle this is to cancel your credit card and get a new one with a new number. It is annoying but it ensures you are cancelled - your way, not their way.

I bought shoes in December and I did like them - the quality wasn't great, but you don't expect much from $40 shoes. I went back and took a look around a month later and noticed I had a credit. I thought it was from my purchase and thought that was an incredibly good deal - too good to be true? Yes. So I looked around the site and saw the membership program. I really do not remember signing up for it and it's not something I would ever do - no matter how good the products are. So I was pretty surprised at myself.

In order to not waste my money, I used up the two credits that I had and I have now cancelled my membership (after a lot of fuss - phone lines always jammed, live chat not working; and they don't allow you to cancel online - I think just to make the process even harder). But they were very keen to keep me on offering me another credit for more shoes. The kicker though is if you cancel your membership, you can't return items. They offered me the pay as you go option too, but I saw too many stories about how they still ended up charging monthly and didn't want to go through the lengthy process of calling them again.

It's a shame - they've got some cute shoes at a great price (again not top quality, but good enough for the price). I can't see why they need the membership system for any other reason to suck people in. I'll never go back to justfab.com now and would never recommend it. In fact, the other day I was at a store with my JustFab bag and the woman behind the counter asked me where I got my bag from. I told her and also told her about the membership system. She rolled her eyes and said, "Oh, one of those - no way." The word is spreading.

I take responsibility myself for not reading the fine print and have definitely learnt my lesson from this experience.

I joined JustFab knowing that it was a subscription site. I ordered a bag and a pair of boots. The bag is beautiful, even though the makeup bag inside of it fell apart quickly. I had another makeup bag so I just swapped them out. The boots are cute but I probably will never wear them because they are not very comfortable. Other than the products, I instantly knew I wanted to cancel my membership. I called and selected the "cancel my membership" option but was on hold for so long I gave up, probably what they are counting on. I tried by phone a few more times to no avail.

I began emailing customer service a month ago and never got a response even though they claim you will hear back in 24 hours. Of course, I kept using "account information" as my topic. Then I decided to try clicking on question about a product, and entered my request to cancel my account in the body of the email. I received an auto reply saying they got my email, but there was no follow up. So, today, after reading all these posts, I decided to try by phone again. I was warned about high call volume of course. Instead of pressing 4 to cancel my membership, I pressed 1 to place an order. Guess what? They answered right away. Although she was rude, she claims that my membership has been cancelled. We shall see.

So I called on a Saturday night and waited almost half an hour and finally got through. They could credit my card or cancel my membership but not both! I would have to callback to cancel! I finally was so frustrated with Neal in customer service, I told him to cancel my membership and I will dispute the charge with my bank. Don't do business with this company.

Do not give this company your credit card information. Every month, they will charge you $39.95 whether you buy something or not, if you don't decide to click on "skip the month,” which can be very easy to forget. I tried to cancel my membership today after accidentally becoming a VIP, which means they will charge me the $39.95 each month if I forget to cancel my subscription. However, the woman refused to let me cancel and said that I would still be charged for my item that I recently purchased and that it would not be sent to me anymore even though I paid for it. What is up with this company? That's a very low thing to do to a college student working minimum wage or to anyone. Don't get yourself into this mess; their shoes suck anyway (oddly uncomfortable, even for heels). The handbags are the only good products.

Too bad, I still have $8.05 as store credit; otherwise, I would have cancelled my account a long time ago! Save yourself the trouble, looks can be very deceiving.

My daughter ordered one pair of shoes; when she registered, she automatically “joined” and has had $40 deducted from our credit card every month since then. They will not refund more than a small portion of the money and claim that if you want to use the “credit” (which you don’t), you cannot cancel the automatic billing without losing the credit. Highly deceptive and fraudulent.

First of all - anyone who is reading the positive reviews - Google shills and that will explain everything. Misleading and dishonest practices of Just Fab: It is not clear that your account will be charged each month just b/c you purchased one pair of shoes. Once you discovered your account has been charged and ask for the charges to be removed, they will not - I don't know of ANY OTHER COMPANY THAT DOES BUSINESS LIKE THIS. If you try to cancel your 'membership' at that point you lose the 'credit (from the unauthorized charges) that you inadvertently incurred - probably illegal. When you try to use the credit you can't use it on any sale items, or many other items. They did not process our refund on a return until after we called them repeatedly. We finally cancelled our membership even though we had a credit left - just too much hassle and nothing we wanted. Two months after our cancellation the charges started appearing on our card again. RUDEST Customer service. Most UNETHICAL COMPANY it has been my misfortune to deal with. STAY AWAY.

The shoes I ordered did not fit me and I had to return them. I sent them back and waited for the refund to be posted to my credit card statement. Nothing showed up. So I checked my email and there was something saying my account had been credited the money. I did not want to have a store credit. I wanted my money back! How dare they assume you want a store credit!?

So I called customer service for the second time. (First time, I was on hold for 18 minutes.) This time, I was on hold for 31 minutes! And when my call was finally answered, the person hung up! I waited all that time to be hung up on! I called back again and the automated thing now says, "We cannot take your call at this time." What!? Basically, I feel like they have stolen my money, as I have no product and no money from the return. Do not use this site. Go to a store and buy your shoes.

Seriously, everything these women are saying on this site about JustFab is 100% true. It is the worst online company I’ve ever had to deal with. They don’t tell you when you sign up that they will take out $39.95 a month if you don’t skip. And they are so hard to get a hold of that every month you have to remember to go to the site and "skip" it. I ordered a pair of boots from them and it was supposed to be here not later than a week and it came 3 weeks later. And every time I called them to find out where my package was, they gave me 3 different numbers for the place it apparently was supposed to be and every person who answered the phone at these places were like, "I have no idea why that company would have given you this number. We have nothing to do with this."

So finally, my package came and when I opened the box, the studs on the boots were already falling off and the boots were two sizes bigger even though I ordered a 9 and it said so on the details. I couldn’t even wear them; they’re so big. Not to mention, the women who work for this company are so unhelpful and they all seem so ghetto. I called over 6 times and 5 out of the 6 times, I talked to the exact same girl. That’s a little fishy if you don’t ask me! So, there’s my experience. I don't feel that reading between the lines is something someone should have to do, but don't ever trust this company. You wait on the phone for over an hour and then the representative tells you she can't hear you and sorry she is hanging up. I could see that maybe happening once, but twice and then another two times on a different line. Once you have wasted 3 hours on the phone, you will never get a settlement for their VIP scam. Now the next step is to cancel the membership, which is only done on the phone. Once again, endless phone calls and endless questions about why you are leaving and what you don't like them.

I just wanted to cancel and that could barely happen. The fine print is non-existent and their idea of customer service is so poor. I still have not seen my so-called refund. Now I am having my credit card company fight them and BBB too.

I made one purchase back in September 2012 never knowing that I was signing up for anything. I closed that card that was used because it was lost, and JustFab charged my new card 5 months later in February 2013. They have long wait lines on the phone - 30+ minutes. The reps are unapologetic. The rep said that they won't refund the money and that I will have to file a dispute with my bank. And since I closed my account, I lost the $39.95 store credit I already paid for. Not worth it. Not recommended.

In December of 2012, the Skip This Month button was disabled (prior to the 5th). I tried to call and request a refund on the 6th but my account hadn't been charged yet. I asked to cancel my membership and was explained that if I cancelled that if and when I get charged, they won't refund any money. "As a courtesy to me" they would issue a one-time refund "if" my money were deducted so that I would continue to "try" their company. I agreed and when the money was deducted 5, again 5 days later, I called and verified that I was getting a refund.

The rep was at first clueless then when I expressed irritation stated that the "notes" verified what I said. At which point I expressed I wanted the membership canceled. I was dissatisfied then and more so now. My emails stopped from the company and I wasn't charged in January. Now the 8th of February and I have been charged. I have spent a total of an hour and a half on five different times calling and waiting. My first call was half an hour wait to be hung up on by a voicemail box to select a different extension. On my 5th call, after I emailed the company and filed with the BBC, I was told I was wrong that I never canceled. In January, someone skipped the month, and somehow in my email preferences I no longer wished to receive email notifications. When I asked for a manager, I was told to wait and less than 30 seconds later told that the manager was unavailable.

My story was not accepted and they will "check the call recorded." I stated good and I hope they note in this call that I was refused a manager, called a liar, and told they won't do anything. Then I proceeded to explain that I have researched the company, filed with the BBB, and will get my money plus the overdraft charge it caused me. Though the rep had to deal with my possessed attitude she at least wished me a "fabulous" day and to quote the Hunger Games, "May the odds be ever in your favor." Good luck, ladies. I had been their member since March 2012 and never had issues, knew exactly the fine print, and was good at skipping each month or purchasing till December when their site glitched and it became my fault.

So I called on the seventh of January wanting to cancel my account. I waited on the phone for about 30+ min. until someone finally picked up. I told the consultant I wanted to cancel. She insisted that I stay with them since I'm a "VIP" member. I told her no. She kept offering me things that I can have so I can stay with them, "Oh, how about I give you 120 credit!" "No, thanks," 4x. "Oh how about this ..." 5x. "No, thanks, I just want to cancel it." "Okay, I'm sorry that you're canceling it and I'll have it cancel right away," finally, after 40+ min. of talking.

A month later, I got charged again! I canceled that **. I had to call to Customer Service again and complain. "Oh, I'm sorry, madam. We'll refund your money right away." How can you when I had to cancel my card. "Oh, madam, we have your card on file it can just be linked back to your account." I called **. Worst of all, the supervisor I might say was being sarcastic! It's the worst customer service ever, and it's a shady company that lure people into buying and "adding them" as a VIP!

"If you do not select the Skip This Month option, the Send Me New Options option or cancel your membership by the 5th day of the month, your credit card will be billed $39.95 for that month." I must admit that not reading the fine print on this one sure was a mistake. Looking now at their Terms of Service, it is clear that they expect complaints and lawsuits because they have covered themselves well. If you are upset because you have just realized the automatic $39 charge, do not call and cancel your account right away, before using your credits!

I have been charged for 3 unwanted months. I didn't realize the terms until after the first two - I (thought I) cancelled my membership online, but then saw the 3rd charge today. I was refunded the charge posted yesterday by "Sam" who (compared to other reps mentioned on this site) seems to have been a bit more understanding. I told her that I made the mistake of not realizing the terms of service for the first two months. However, once I did realize the terms and (thought I) cancelled my membership online, there were few/no reminders online of this: "If you wish to cancel your Account, simply call our Fashion Consultants at 1-866-337-0906 anytime, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There is no cancellation fee. Please be advised that an account may only be canceled by the registered JustFab VIP Member."

As for the other two months' charges, this was my big mistake and I have few grounds to dispute. However, because I had not really cancelled my account yet, I can still use my 2 months' worth of "credits", i.e. get two pairs of shoes for which I have already been charged. If you've already paid for the shoes, might as well get them before you cancel and cannot use those credits! Chances are you cannot get that money back any other way.

I am a patient person, so this was all accomplished today after a 30-minute wait on the phone. "Sam's" suggestion, when I called back to cancel, was that I should do so after billing season.

My advice: Spend your credits before you cancel. Try to claim ignorance on the cancel-by-phone-only-policy for a potential refund. Call to cancel after the 12th or so to avoid the high call volume caused by billing season. I'm sure that this company has more billing dispute calls added in than the usual. Tell your friends not to use this site.

If they refund your money once, they would not be able to refund your money back twice. I mean "your" money! They will always charge you for $40 if you "don't skip the month." I mean, people, can you just use common sense?! They didn't get anything this month, okay! That perfectly means they didn't want anything! But no, instead, they take your money for credit and insist for you to use it because if you cancel your membership, you automatically lose that! I have kids you know and plenty of bills and will not put up with this crap! Plain and simple - do not buy or become a "VIP" member of JustFab! I gave it to my baby sister and never thought about the site again until this morning when I was checking my bank account and saw a transaction from JustFab of $39.95. I was shocked.

Apparently, when you sign up, there's some fine print somewhere about how you become a VIP member after a month or so. I couldn't believe it! $40 a month for a shoe website!? That's a VIP membership at the gym! And especially since I had no acknowledgment that I was going to have a monthly fee. Then you have to call to cancel your membership. I then asked why I was charged again. She told me that this is a system error and charges should be refunded, but she did not give me a time frame.

Worst of all, when I asked to have these charges reversed, she said I would have to call my financial institution myself to have this issue resolved, or we can do a three-way call to my bank. It does not appear that I can buy unless I agree to become part of the cult, I mean club. I think it violates truth in advertising. I called to cancel my membership 2 days after ordering shoes, since my shoes had not been shipped. The customer service said that if I cancel, then the shoes would not come.

Mind you, I waited on the line for 18 minutes to get a live person. She said, "Go back to the site between the 1st and the 5th to skip or call back when your shoes arrive to cancel." What? I was like, "Yo! I'm calling you now, you can't just ignore my wishes. How about put me down for a post dated cancellation?" She's like, "Sorry, you have to skip or call back" and if you call around the 1st and the 5th, the lines will be even busier! Guess what? She was right. I signed onto JustFab in order to purchase a purse. I had no idea that I would be locked into a VIP membership in which my account would be drafted $39.95 every month unless I choose to skip before the 1st and 5th. I'm sure that was somewhere in the fine print. However, I have always made accounts on websites such as Walmart.com, Amazon.com, etc. and never been charged monthly in order to force me to purchase something. Of course, the purse I purchased originally was nothing like the picture. I hated it. But I couldn't return it because it was non-refundable because it was my first purchase. When that $39.95 drafted from my account, they of course refused to refund it. I then purchased another purse to replace the crappy one I got, because I had no choice but to use the money or give it away for nothing.

As soon as the new purse arrived, I tried to log onto the chat system to cancel. But lo and behold, they can't cancel memberships online. So I had to call, wait on hold for a representative and then had to tell him about 10 times I wanted to cancel. He tried to convince me that I could become a member on a pay as you go basis and not be charged monthly. What? Where was that option when I signed up?! I told him absolutely not because I know exactly what happens. You won't get the VIP price and will pay double. I informed him that I can pay $39.95 for a pair of shoes or a purse on GoJane.com or ShoeDazzle.com and not be charged monthly. By the way, both of those websites have much cuter shoes. It is not fabulous. Shame on you, JustFab. JustFab makes you opt out of a monthly charge within the first 5 days of each month. If you miss that window, they won't reverse the charge and they tell you that you purchased a "credit" for shoes and that it is non-refundable. I thought that I opted out, but either it didn't go through or i missed it somehow - either way, I was charged and have no proof that I tried to opt out. This "credit" that I "purchased" is packed with stipulations. So many stipulations, that I think it takes advantage of their clients and it makes this company as close to a scam as you can get.

You can't cancel your membership if you have a credit, or that credit and its monetary value is lost. Also, I tried to use it on a BOGO promotion for shoes tonight, but wasn't able to, because they also consider the "credit" to be a "promotion." I paid for it and it was a charge - it's definitely not a promotion. So, instead of getting two pairs of shoes for $39.95 on their BOGO promotion, I can only buy one of those pairs at full price. In order to get the promotion, I'd have to charge a new $39.95 to my credit card, and then I'd still have a $39.95 "credit" sitting in my account.

Unfair and dishonest consumer practices? - Yes. Fabulous? - No. Shame on you, JustFab.

All we ask is for you to log- in to your boutique every 1st to the 5th of the every month. You can simply skip if nothing catches your eye and no credit will be generated for the month. Every 1st-5th of every month the "skip the month" button will only appear in your boutique. It can be seen on the top left hand side highlighted in hot pink. In order to successfully skip the month, you should have to complete the whole process. Clicking the “send a new option” button will only allow you to change your boutique preferences. We have reviewed your account and it shows here that due to no action in your boutique, you were issued a total of 4 store credits, 2 of which you have already redeemed by purchasing items from our website. We'd like to inform you that you still have 2 active store credits, which you can use anytime to purchase any item that's worth $39.95 from our website. I contacted the company via the online chat and could not get to a satisfactory resolution. JustFab seriously isn't getting another penny from me.

I did a Google search of this company and there is a reference to previous unsatisfied JustFab customers as "dummies". They say that people aren't reading the "fine print". This was not the case for my daughter. She joined, didn't like it and then called to cancel her membership. And even though she cancelled, they continued to debit her account. Several unsuccessful phone calls later, we had to consult the Better Business Bureau for assistance. And they (the BBB) were wonderful! They assisted my daughter in getting her $360 back. Perhaps someone else out there may choose this as an option if you are having difficulty in cancelling the unwanted membership and also in getting your refund.

There is nothing fair about this situation! I bought one pair of boots and yes, I did read all the fine print at the bottom of the page. I did exactly what was written. I unsubscribed at the bottom of their site as per instructions, then tried to phone them (according to their directions to call and say I was cancelling after I unsubscribed). I was put on hold for the first 15 minutes, then finally went to speaker phone for another 1 hour. No answer. I then unsubscribed the next month - exactly the way I did on my first attempt. I also called them. I was put on hold again forever and finally gave up. The charges still showed up on my bank statements.

A comment was made by another person in this discussion that it was my obligation to check every month and pass on their offering for that month. Why? I unsubscribed! I am not about to be always on alert every month to let them know I don't want to purchase anything once unsubscribed! This morning, I waited at least an hour and finally got to speak to someone. I wasn't very polite and pointed out my problem with them. The answer was, "All you had to do is check the email and alert us you didn't want anything that month. You wouldn't have been charged." What kind of answer is that? After much arguing, the gal said they would refund the recent charge, but couldn't do anything for the other charges made. What kind of business/customer relations is that?!

I am not finished. I definitely will contact every single consumer advocate I can locate and the FTC. I am not a stupid consumer, but now I feel as violated as being raped! It isn't the money as much as it is the entire business concept/customer service/satisfaction. According to all the comments made, they sure did make a lot of money off all of us! We are the only ones to stop it. They don't care about this complaint page. They are living off the innocent people who are still being consumer abused.

People who are complaining really need to read before they place orders with a company they are unfamiliar with (always look up reviews of other people before ordering!). Fortunately, I follow my own advice and had a wonderful experience. The only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars is because it was kind of a pain trying to cancel my membership after I made my first purchase (simply because they try so hard to get you to stay). I also went online afterwards and logged in and chose the option to "cancel membership". A month hasn't passed yet, so I'm hoping to god that they don't debit my account after double cancelling it, but I'm confident they won't.

I simply placed my order, called the customer service number immediately after placing my order and also went online and "double-cancelled". I purchased 2 purses which came to $52 after shipping and taxes (with the BoGo sale they have going). I shipped to Canada and was not charged any additional shipping/tax charges from customs. The purses are really nice, but they do have a strange smell to them (almost moth-ball like), but I'm certain that will tone down within the next week or so. From what I see, the quality is really nice. I'm more than happy with my purchase.

I am always the person on the side of the "little guy" and rarely give corporations the benefit of the doubt, but I find it slightly absurd that this many people are posting consumer complaints about illegality, being robbed, JustFab losing customers, fighting 4-8 months worth of $39.95 charges, etc. Folks, this is a subscription website. It is the age-old format that magazine subscriptions and other such services/companies (Proactive, anyone?) have been using for decades. Once you sign up to receive something, you are defaulted to a monthly subscription until you say stop.

There are now dozens of online shopping sites setup like these out there (ShoeDazzle, ShoeMint, JewelMint, Birchbox, etc.,) and they all work this way. This is no secret. It's a fairly recent trend for online shopping boutiques to join in on, and they are quite clear on the way it works. A simple Google search or online review will tell you that in the first 2 minutes. If you choose not to research anything before you submit your confidential info to a shopping site you know nothing about, that is your decision. You also should know the downside when you put in your credit card that first time, and if you don't, you must be willing to accept at least part of the fault. No one should ever be careless or silly enough to enter credit card info on a website they've never used, without reading the Terms & Conditions (Yes, it's "Fine Print". It is considered your responsibility to read it and ensure you are in agreement).

If you choose to click a button and skip the details, at the very least do not be indignant and self-righteous about it. Admit the screw up, and then fight the good fight to try and get your money back. I am not a huge fan of these sites, either. I myself thought long and hard before I made my first purchase on a site like JustFab, and knew the repercussions. I also searched the FAQ for how to cancel my membership to make sure I wouldn't get trapped, in case I wanted to just make the 1 purchase and then cut it off. However, I knew that if I didn't click that button every month my $39.95 would be taken from me and I would be stuck. It would suck, but it would be my own responsibility or fault.

I created an account as well and did not fully understand how it worked. After realizing that I had been charged on my credit card for three months in a row ($120), I called and tried to cancel my membership. I asked if I could please get one month returned to me because I did not understand what I was signing up for. The girl cancelled one month's charges and I agreed to use my credits on my account before cancelling. When I called back to cancel my account, I was told that I wasn't allowed to cancel my account because by reversing the previous month's charge, I had agreed to stay on with JustFab for at least another month. Each time I called, I was on hold for 45 minutes or longer. Finally, I got through to someone in the next month and cancelled my account. Unfortunately, I am still being charged on my credit card even after cancelling my account. I am so frustrated and I would recommend that no one use this service. I even cancelled my credit card and got a new one, and they found a way to charge me still. It makes me sick to think that a company can do this to someone.

I am so happy to read that there are more people out there like me. I am fighting for 8 months of credits stemming back from 2011. I heard about these really cool shoe websites and visited JustFab because of Kimora Lee. I ordered a boot and found their shoes aren't comfortable, so I forgot about them and went on about my life. I checked months later to find that every month I was getting a charge for $39.95. I called throughout the course of last year, off and on, and I wasn't able to get the early credits credited. I am now at the stage of getting 4 months of credit with 8 more to go. I told them today that I am done with them borrowing money from me and I wanted it back.

I am going to complain to the BBB today (thank you for the suggestions), and I am also going to wait for a call back from their supervisors. I asked for a mailing address to complain to the president, and not surprisingly, they have no PO box. This is a recipe for disaster, and for any company not to have a mailing address, they are very shady. Not to mention their poor customer service of waiting at least 15-20 minutes for a chat (when they are online) or the same time frame when calling in. I'm sure they hope we will just hang up or not have time to share our complaints and they can collect an extra $39.95 from all of us. It also upsets me that there is no triage. Meaning, if you speak to a supervisor, they are the only ones left to speak to.

I thought JustFab is a large business with directors, managers, VP, etc. But it seems to me there is a front line person and a supervisor; at least that is what they want us to think. Could you imagine if we could speak to a real manager or VP of customer service? They wouldn't have time to do anything else. I think this company has very poor customer service, and I will never ever recommend them to anyone. Thank you for your posts.

How is what they are doing free to join and no obligation to buy?! They are playing with words and not being honest to their customers. Because the next month, they charge you $39.95 for being a member! How is that a membership perk? In the fine print, they have you agree to the purchase, which I think most of us think it says if you damage it, you can't return it. But that is not what it is. I checked my old bills and noticed the same thing happened in November. My husband called them and they told him he can cancel my VIP membership (needless to say, I didn't actually signed up for one) but that they already charged our credit card for January and that I will lose $120 if I cancel my membership now. I think that what we all need to do is write official complaints to the Better Business Bureau and to California's State Attorney General. The more complaints they get, the better the chances are that JustFab's license will be revoked. What absolutely sickens me is that their target group is obviously women with lower income and they are shameless about stealing money from them. I lost $120 and that is a fortune for me, a student with a part-time job.

Cancelling a membership is no easy feat either because you are required to call customer service to do this. It seems every time I have called to cancel, I am on hold for twenty minutes before finally hanging up. Then when I finally get someone on the phone, they try to convince me to keep my membership or a supervisor is always too busy to get on the phone.

The whole purpose of me cancelling is because I cannot stand playing the "wheel of fortune" every month with these people. If I happen to forget to skip the month, then I automatically lose $40, which to me is quite valuable right now and is not needed to be used on shoes or purses. I made a complaint to the BBB online about their phony practices and I suggest that everyone else on here does the same. If they get enough complaints, then something could be done to fix this and perhaps prevent other people from being scammed just as we were.

I went on the website to make a one time purchase. I never realized that it was a membership and I was going to be charged $39.99 monthly. I called the customer service and was told that membership is free and that I was given the option to select what I wanted and I did not select any order merchandise, but I was still charged $39.95 every month after my purchase in October. I did not select what I wanted but was still charged $39.95. For what? I have no idea. This company steals from the customer. Be aware. Do not order. JustFab just does bad business and that's it. I bought one pair of shoes from them back in October because they were running a 50% off sale and the low price pulled me in. I had never purchased from their site before and never will again! It is extremely deceiving how they automatically sign you up for a monthly VIP membership that charges your account $39.95. I know I should have read the "fine" print better but I think they know that most people don't and that's how they get you. I buy a lot online but usually from reputable companies (Nordstrom, Amazon, etc.) and I have never had this happen to me.

I only noticed the $39.95 charge from JustFab to my credit card yesterday. I was pretty upset after I realized what happened and that my card was also charged in December. I called twice yesterday and each time the message said, "We are experiencing extremely high call volume," and I was on hold for 10 minutes each time. I tried again this morning and got the same message.

How can I call so many other businesses that are held in such high regard and talk to someone? How come JustFab is so busy? It's sad they have to lie like this. I finally talked to someone this morning and they won't refund my $80 so I'm going to buy two more pairs of crappy shoes and then cancel this horrible membership. I'm very disappointed in whoever runs this site. It's a scam and they are taking people's money. It is so sad.

Seriously, stay far, far away from JustFab. They make it nearly impossible for you to cancel. I bought a pair of boots on sale, figuring I could just cancel. Wrong! It turns out the only way to cancel is by calling a number. The first time I called, they were closed. Then before I knew it, it was the 6th of the month, and I had been charged $40. I called today to cancel, waited on the line for twenty minutes, only to be told that if I were to cancel before I used the "credit", I would be forsaking the $40. What?! What a horrible, sleazy service. And seriously, their selection is tiny, their styles lean towards trashy, and anything that's vaguely cute tends to be out of stock. Just stay away. It's not worth the hassle.

Then, they messed the whole thing up with their obligated "VIP" service. I saw it right away on my credit card the month after my purchase. I tried calling, emailing, and chatting. Nothing worked. I got billed again on the second month after my purchase. That was it. I called my credit card company, got reimbursed and cancelled my credit card. Well, reviewers, it's now 2013 and Ms. Simmons is still being allowed to scam folks out of nearly $40 monthly on what is probably an astronomical scale! I, too, was dumb enough to make a purchase from "Just Fab" back in the first week of December and now they tried to charge my credit card again when I bought nothing else! I guess we're supposed to pay for emails now. I really love the boots I did buy but not enough to pay for them forever. The complaints I've read are very true. I wasn't told of any monthly fee. However, I keep only one credit card for online purchases. I don't keep a lot of money on it, and I have text alerts set up to notify me of charges to it. So when they tried to get my $40, they got zip and I was alerted of the scam and promptly called their customer service and removed my subscription (that I never asked for in the first place). I think little Miss Lee should get a real job and stop robbing people!

I admit I should have been smarter about making an online purchase and read all of the terms and service, which I usually do look up reviews. But honestly, all the ones I saw were quite positive but none really mentioned that it was a subscription service. No, I am not making a complaint about them charging me $39.95 for nothing but their misleading concept just like most of you agree upon and also their horrible service on the phone and e-mail. First, yes, they should make it clear to everyone that this site is a subscription site and constantly remind people through e-mail about opting out, which I was not aware of because of no reminder and the unclearness.

A successful business should be a business all about customer satisfaction in order for them to want to make more purchases rather than make money off people's ability to forget. Everyone has a busy schedule regardless, and JustFab is not always on our mind. The first time I ordered and my package came in the mail. The delivery man asked me for $20 for the custom fees, which I was not aware of. My order was only $90 so that is crazy because I was already charged for taxes. So I e-mailed them because they were closed for holidays, and told them to cancel my account and please send a confirmation e-mail. No one replied, so the next morning I called. The first lady I talked to tried so hard to convince me to stay and I said no, it was an inconvenience, even with her offer of 1 free credit.

I read all your reviews and was aware of it and I didn't want to go through with another call which later I did. She was very unprofessional the way she handled my questions, but she was not as bad as the second. She also said "love you" at the end. This is a business relationship and we are not best friends, especially with my inconvenience. The second lady I had to call back because it said I was still a VIP member. I swear she changed it right as I told her my issue because I kept signing in and out for 10 minutes and the lady before said it will take exactly "2.5 seconds." I asked her to remove my information and she said she cannot do that. What?! My billing information is all on that and that site is not trusted. So I told her to completely close my account and she said she can't!

I remember seeing a cancel button online, which is only available for usage by non-members, which I had now become. I clicked on it, but I am still a member! Hello?! This site is such a scam, it says I can opt out whenever I want, but in reality, I can't. Also, this second lady kept cutting me out, being the diva she is. She kept yelling at me saying, “No ma’am, no ma’am” and just wouldn't let me talk. So I talked louder and said close my account, which she couldn't do. I will never support this company again and will only talk badly about it because of the horrible service they provide their customers.

I canceled my account right after I ordered something because like everyone else, I had no idea that they charge monthly for buying nothing. The first person I talked to was nice and canceled my account with no problem. Then I found out I can still log in. Pissed that it wasn't really canceled but they canceled my order and I can't buy anything but it still said I was a member, I called to ask why and the woman was completely rude. She told me it's canceled because I can buy anything and kept avoiding my question about why it still says I'm a member. And then I asked to talk to a supervisor but she was just too busy.

So I called again because I found out I can't take my credit card off the website, which made me even more pissed. Finally, I got to talk to a supervisor and she said there's nothing she can do but to let the company know about my request. They will be getting a call from me in the next few days. Along with this, I'm canceling my credit card and making sure I get my refund from my canceled show order. I'm definitely not making this mistake of ordering again. But a warning to everyone, they keep your credit card number!

JustFab.com - Like others, I was unaware that this site charges your credit card a $39.95 every month for a 'VIP membership' from the moment you purchase an item. I have purchased a lot of things on the web over the years, but this is the first time I got suckered into something like this because most businesses actually want your return business. I don't think the folks at JustFab really care as long as you make an initial purchase so they can try to take as much from you as they can before you realize what's going on. I saw an ad on FB for boots for $39.95 and went to look around. They didn't seem to have a very large selection and it seemed like most boots were sold out in my size.

But then I found a pair I liked and the product reviews all favored the boots. Then a window popped up and said since I was a first-time visitor, I could order anything in the $39.95 price range and get the item for only $20.00. So, I ordered the boots. They came in at the time the site said they would and they fit well and I liked them a lot. The next month, my bank account was tapped for the first $39.95 charge. After my initial confusion, I did some searching on the web to figure out why the site dinged my bank account the following month when I hadn't ordered anything since the boots. Too late, that's when I discovered that I had inadvertently signed up for a membership.

After seeing hundreds of complaints on this site and others, I decided to skip the whole game of trying to cancel and simply went straight to my bank and ordered a new card. And my branch manager told me that if the site somehow manages to get another fee out of me this month, to come in and they would do a dispute and give me my money back. My bank does not like business practices like this and will help their customers. I love my bank! Lesson learned but I'll be on the lookout for scams like this in the future, believe me!

I'm a seventeen-year old girl who loves shoes. When I heard JustFab was having two for $39.95, I joined and purchased a pair of shoes and a handbag. The handbag was great; however, the shoes were too tight and way too tall. I no longer wished to be associated with them, so I added them to the spam list of my email account thinking that would be the end of my experience with them. Boy, was I wrong. Five months later, I heard they were having this sale again so I got on the website to see if there was anything I wanted. When I got there, they made me log in, and on my account profile, it told me I had five credits. I had no clue what that meant, but after some research, I discovered this meant my mom's credit card (I used her card because I'm 17 and I don't have one) had been charged $39.95 on five separate occasions! I was furious! I tried to unsubscribe online, but since I was a VIP, I had to call them to do so.

When I called, I pressed all the buttons the automated voice told me to press to take me to someone who would cancel my account. After waiting on hold for 30 minutes, a fast talking woman named Vicky tried desperately to get me to stay and she sounded absolutely shocked and personally offended that I wanted to cancel. She kept trying to tell me how JustFab works, and I kept saying "I know and I don't care. I want to be cancelled right now." She even offered to give me one free credit. I declined. After that 45-minute adventure, she agreed to cancel it and thanked me for my business. I feel horrible having my mother's money fraudulently taken like this. It was probably easily overlooked by my parents because we are in the process of building our house so we are constantly paying random amounts of money to random companies. That's $200 we will never see again.

Swagbucks offered 1,015 swagbucks if you did a BOGO on JustFab for $39.95. I'd seen their commercials and honestly, I'd never really been interested, but I thought I'd take a look. I took the fashion quiz and got the pop-up about getting my first pair for $19.95. I looked around the site for a few hours. It took that long because every pair I somewhat liked (liked enough to spend money on) was Out of Stock. So I gave up on shopping and thought maybe I'd find something later I liked. Plus, I had a bad gut feeling about the company the whole time, just a sinking feeling.

Now I know why after reading these reviews. It's true that their deceptive, money-sucking and highly unethical business practices are buried in fine print. This is how I found out that part. After receiving the email with my Personal Boutique, I went and looked at what was chosen for me. Honestly, I was impressed by how well they nailed my style, but who in the world can wear 5" or higher heels? That's insane! Between the Out of Stock problem and the ridiculous heel heights, JustFab couldn't win a purchase from me, which turned out to be lucky for me since I spared myself the heartache of giving them my CC number for them to abuse over and over as you all have detailed here.

I might have liked some of the shoes in stock if they'd been 1/2 as tall. I noticed while spending all that time looking at their selections they have very, very few heel heights in the 1"-4" range, which I find interesting. That would be the heel height that is appealing to most women, so who is their target market, anyway? Like someone else here said, they're only shoes that would be appropriate in a gentleman's club. No disrespect, anyone, and honestly some of them are super cute, but I just can't see how in the world you can walk in something that tall or where you would wear them.

Regardless, back to the scam. After perusing my boutique, I saw a link for getting more choices. I clicked it wondering if my choices would come up right away or if I'd have to wait for another email. It was there on that next screen that I saw something fishy that made me dig deeper. It said something about having a choice to get another boutique selection or skipping a month and then something else about buying every month. Skipping a month and buying every month raised a red flag for me.

I searched and found reviews here that told the whole story and then I went to the T&C at JustFab's website and read it for myself. I feel so sorry for everyone here who has been so blatantly ripped off. The stories of horrid customer service are just terrible too. I feel for you guys so much. Since I could never find a pair I liked, I never went into Checkout and never gave CC info. They only have my email. After all this, I immediately went into my Account and cancelled. It didn't say anything about having to call, which I've read here in the reviews, but maybe that's because I've never ordered anything and they don't have any payment info.

It's nice to know from everyone in these reviews that the quality sucks and the sizing is unpredictable because that's what I sensed all along. It felt like the shoes were more like $10 shoes, if that, than $40 shoes. Plus, I didn't really feel like spending the money. I'm glad my gut and their constant Out of Stock messages talked me out of going further. If I'd taken it all the way, I know I'd be in the boat where I'd just have to write the money off because I'm not about to bother with their crappy CS that you guys have warned us all about when they refuse to give you your money back. Then I'd get my credit or debit card cancelled and get a new one. I'd see if my bank could report it as fraud and get my money returned.

Hopefully, fraud reports are bad marks against a company too. I commend any of you who report JustFab to the Attorney General, BBB and anyone else that has some power to put losers like this out of business. Bottom line is JustFab's business practices are wrong and they're preying on the fact that most people take for granted that when they make a purchase, they are making only that one purchase. Plus, folks expect that when they join a club or become a member that their membership is something they clearly enter into and it is plainly explained and stated right upfront. We've all made purchases and we've all become members before, but rarely are the two mixed together in a way that is so cleverly hidden. This type of business practice should be illegal.

I visited this website and created an account after seeing an ad on Facebook for "2 for $39.95 boots on JustFab.com." What I was really doing, unbeknownst to me, was signing up for a $40 monthly membership! After I bought the boots (big mistake not to do this before the purchase), I checked out some reviews I found searching on Google (the ones on their site are FAKE). I found out that I didn't really just buy boots for half off, I signed up to pay $40/month to shop on this site. With all the free shopping sites out there, who in their right mind would pay to use one?! Well one review on this website said that the customer called her bank and had the charges noted as fraudulent. So, I did the same thing. My bank refunded the charges and cancelled my card for me right away so they couldn't charge me a dime. Oh, and they will never answer the phone. Kimora, this is horribly deceitful. I don't know how you sleep at night.

There is a reason why 86% of the consumers ordering from JustFab are angry. The owner, Kimora, who is already extremely financially comfortable, thought it would be a great idea to start a cheap shoe company and scam consumers into thinking that, not only are they getting terrific shoes, but also charge them for using the site. My family does a lot of shopping online for convenience but never came across a website that charges a monthly fee for the sake of greed and with extremely rude and unpleasant customer service reps. While speaking with one of the reps, the rep decided to tell another employee that she is "ready to go off on this ** (which was me)" while I was sitting on the line listening.

When asked if she was talking to me, she simply said, "yes, you **", and simply hung up on me. And you wonder why everybody is mad? There are 2 reasons for charging the extra fee: 1) greed and 2) to pay the unworthy reps the $2 per hour they don't deserve. And as for the people that gave this site 5 stars, please rethink this. Why would you pay a monthly membership fee when you can save all that darn money and buy more shoes somewhere else or better yet, invest it. But don't invest in Kimora's future. Now that's an aha moment!

This company is a scam, horrible customer service, shoes are never the true size. I am currently stuck with 4 pairs of shoes I cannot fit, two of which I am still within its 30-day return policy but I can't seem to get a live person on the phone. When I reached what I thought was a live person, after being on hold 25 min., she asked me my first and last name 5 times. After getting frustrated, I stated that I've given her my name several times. This person proceeded to say some gibber and ended the call.

I tried to go online to return the shoes and they told me I had to speak to someone in order to do so because of my membership status was "v.i.p.", but I have been treated anything but. I couldn't cancel my membership unless I forfeited my $130 credit, so I had to purchase 3 more shoes, all which I ordered a half size bigger. Only one pair fits and the other two are like a shoe size and a half too small, wth! Plus they're going to charge me a $5 restock fee for each item returned. Why, when it's not my fault their product is not up to par and doesn't fit even after I ordered a half size bigger than what my actual shoe size is?

The first time I tried cancelling my membership, the woman told me I just had to log on once a month to skip the charge. I did so,"logged on" thinking I was in the clear. Six months pregnant, trying to get something to eat on my lunch break, I swipe my card and it's declined. After figuring out why, I called for them to return my money as I had none to feed myself and my unborn child. This lady proceeded to say, "Oh, you have to click 'skip this month' too, not just log on." So I said, "Why did the other lady just tell me to only log on?" She had no answer.

Long story short, I had to call my bank and force them to make it a fraudulent charge in order for me to have my money back in my account so I could feed my unborn child because JustFab was non-sympathetic to my circumstances and their misinformation from their staff. I'm still trying to return the shoes and cancel my membership.

Like many others, I was fooled by JustFab. I purchased a pair of shoes on Oct. 9th, unaware that I was signing my life away to the devil. The shoes were subpar, but I kept them anyway and decided to cancel my membership. I just skipped the month of Nov. because the hold time was outrageous and the live chat is always closed. I made a note to call before Dec. 1st to cancel my membership. One November 30, I finally reached an agent, Jennifer, after holding for 45 minutes. She was nice until I told her I wanted to cancel. She then began hounding me trying to get me to stay.

After asking nicely for about 15 more minutes, she said she would cancel it. I asked for a confirmation number and she told me to use her name as my confirmation. What?! Of course, I wasn't given her last name, ID#, etc. I thought my nightmare was over. Two days ago, I saw the $39.95 charge on my bank account. I was furious! I called them immediately and got an answer after 5 min. (I had to call around 4 am for this speedy answer). The man who answered claimed there was no record of me ever calling on Nov. 30 and their charges are non-refundable and I could use my credit to get more shoes.

I still have my first pair in the closet, so there was no way I was buying another pair. I hung up on him and called my bank. The bank "conferenced" JustFab on the line and we waited on hold for 20 minutes with no answer. The bank agent immediately put in a Stop payment and credited my account. The bank will be refunding my money within 24 hours. They also put a block on my account so JustFab can no longer bill me. Don't waste your time or hard-earned money with the company!

I'm so disappointed in all the YouTube Stars who are endorsing this scam site. First of all, they sell extremely inferior quality items. Secondly, I've encountered so many problems just trying to get one pair of shoes. First, I ordered a pair of shoes - no problem. I got the shoes in a week. However, one of the shoes gave me a terrible blister and ripped my skin off. They let me return that pair of boots for no cost as it was not my fault the shoes had something in the stitching that cut me. So I did a live chat with one of their employees who happily obliged to my new order of a purse. However, they would not ship out the replacement item until they received and processed the return item. When that happened, however, the purse that was put on hold was sold out. So they cancelled the shipment and issued me $19.95 store credit. I paid $21.50 for my first pair of shoes because a tax is applied.

They sent me an email saying I can feel free to choose my new item. They charged me $39.95 for my replacement which is still my first pair of shoes. They charged me tax on it and applied the $19.95 store credit. It came out to $23.10 that I had to pay extra for one pair of shoes. After I told them what happened, they said okay they will refund that amount. They gave me $20 back. Then I clicked skip a month which says I will not be charged for that month. They charged me another $39.95 without ever refunding me the correct amount of money. As of now, they owe me the $39.95 and $3.10 they conveniently left out of the refund I did receive. Originally, they tried to sneakily charge me three payments of $21.50 for my first pair of shoes. That issue was resolved quickly. I have received no indication that my money will be returned or that I may cancel the membership. Complete scam! I tried to call but the phone keeps telling me to check the number I called. I triple checked on the website that I entered the correct number.

    Hi Bridget,

We sincerely apologize for your experience with JustFab. We are sorry for any confusion as to how our VIP membership works. Once you've made your 1st purchase, which here on our records show was on October 23, 2012 for the Alicia shoes, you automatically became a VIP member. Being a VIP member does not oblige you to purchase each month. All you have to do is log-in to your account every 1st to the 5th of each month and choose the "Skip The Month" option to avoid the membership credit charge. However, if you forget to skip the month, a store credit worth $39.95 will be issued to your account. Someone from our team will contact you shortly via e-mail to further assist you. This company hides in the fine print that they will charge you $39.99/month to get "VIP treatment" unless you opt out within a certain time frame. When they ask you if you want to sign up, it does not clearly state that you will be charged the monthly fee. Instead, I discovered it when I checked my account statement. I had to wait for 15 minutes before my call was answered due to an "unusually high volume of calls" (which is "unusually high" regardless of what time or day you call), after which it took several holds and arguing to get the manager to refund my money. Then the product broke, just after the 30-day return period ended. All over the site, they advertise "free shipping and easy returns," but only for a limited period of time. Again, I had to fight to get my item exchanged because they would not refund my money (which they will only do so after charging a $5 "restocking fee"). These people have tried more than once to pilfer money from me. Do not shop with them. I feel like a fool for doing so.

JustFab is a travesty. It's unfortunate that innocent consumers who work hard for their money are being conned out of it, thinking that they are just visiting a shoe shopping site and making a simple purchase.

Let me start by saying I cannot and will not disagree with the statement that "People should do their research before providing credit card information" or "The $39.95 monthly charge is in the fine print." These statements are true. However, that does not mean that JustFab has its customers’ best interest at heart. They do not, and that is the problem.

Even if people misunderstand how JustFab works, or fail to read the fine print before they sign up, what is the excuse for the unprofessionalism on JustFab's end or their terrible customer service? How is being called "baby" and "sweetie" while on the phone even acceptable? What about the wait time to cancel? Hoping that people will simply get tired of waiting and hang up, thus getting charged another $39.95 the next month? Why is there an option online to cancel, but when you select this option, you have to call in anyway? How is it appropriate for the CSR's to tell the customers that they cannot get a manager or a supervisor? What about returns?

How can they decide to charge the customer a non-negotiable $9 restocking fee, even if JustFab is at fault for shipping out a broken or defective product? Ridiculous! If they are in business to con people out of $39.95 a month, the least that they could do is make sure that every other area of their business is satisfactory and in order. Meaning, professional CSR's, waiving the re-stocking fees, shortening the wait times to speak to a representative, and last but not least, providing a quality product! The quality of JustFab's shoes are not worth the $39, and they are definitely not worth a monthly charge.

I think it's important to realize that even if we cannot technically call JustFab a "scam," we really do need to focus on their goal, which is to get people to sign up for this service and anticipate them forgetting to log in and skip a month. Additionally, even if a person does read the fine print and agrees to the terms and conditions, it is really silly to expect someone to always remember to sign into JustFab once a month just to press the "skip this month" link, especially if the customer is only interested in purchasing one item. It is also equally silly to only allow them to do this between 1-5 days. They could at least offer them a grace period, or allow the customer a one-time refund if they forget to skip a month.

Furthermore, if JustFab truly wants to appear to be ethical and fair, then they should advertise themselves to be a monthly membership shoe service, and not word their website to give the impression that it's okay to "Shop the styles you love, skip the ones you don't." They need to add "while still being charged monthly" to the end of that sentence and then maybe they could be considered ethical. If they are not trying to hide anything, or con anyone, then what's wrong with being upfront about how they operate?

I think the bottom line here is simply that JustFab does not care about its customers. They are out to get as much money as they can while providing the least that they can. This is not a company to deal with unless you want to get terrible customer service, a low quality product, and get charged $39.95 monthly. (Unless, of course, you remember to take time out of your busy schedule every month to log in to their site just to tell them that you don’t want to purchase anything.) But don't worry, there's a silver lining:

This is the type of site that will ultimately crash and burn. More and more people will become angry, tired, dissatisfied, and plain old unhappy with the many elements of ridiculousness associated with JustFab, and those people will spread the word to their friends and family (and websites like this) which will cause a negative ripple effect until JustFab is no longer around, which will be a happy day for online shoppers.

Businesses with practices like these never last long, especially with similar companies emerging that do not share these issues or unethical practices and behaviours. An example is ShoeDazzle. In my personal opinion, ShoeDazzle is by far a better company. (Which makes sense, seeing as they were the original.) There is no monthly membership fee, and in my personal opinion, the quality of their products is much better. You get the shoes much faster than you do from JustFab. Even in the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your purchase, returning it is easy and fast, and you don't have to worry about someone telling you that you can only get a store credit if you are unhappy with your purchase. You get your money back, no questions asked. Last but not least, their customer service is superb, and you don't have to endure a 30-min fight with a CSR if you decide you want to cancel. If you want a pleasant experience, I say give them a try.

Well, that's all I got. At the end of the day, I say hit your local mall or shoe retailer. Your forty bucks will go much further, and without the headache that JustFab will cause you.

I ordered some shoes online on this past Sunday, and they sent me an email with a FedEx number to track my order. Well, the number did not provide me with tracking information. FedEx system stated that there was no information in their system. I thought "Hmm, that is weird because how can you provide me with a FedEx tracking number, but no tracking information?" The representative communicated to me that they ship the items to FedEx, who in turn delivers them to the post office, which will deliver my package. I have never heard of anything so crazy before in my life! So, I asked her, "So when can I expect my package," and she told that there will not be a delay, because she sees in her system that FedEx just hasn't updated their system with my items yet. I asked her, "After 3 days they have not?" None of this makes sense to me.

My second issue with them is when I went to cancel my membership. I told her I was completely unaware that I would be charged $39.95 a month. That would be transferred into their credit so that I can shop. I communicated that I don't have a need to shop every month like that, and I may forget to click, "skip a month". It does not make any sense for me to allow you to take my $39.95 (cash) and transition it into a credit for an online store I might never shop at again. She became very aggressive, and tried to stand her ground, but when she saw that I was not budging, she finally said she cancelled the membership and made it very clear to me that I could only exchange my order 1 time if anything was wrong with it..

I am so unsure whether my items will actually be delivered to me considering I have no way of tracking them. My prayer is that whenever they do, they are the correct size and the right color and all. Unfortunately, because of this experience I will more than likely never order from them again.

I was quite happy to see the commercial but never realized, as were many other unsuspecting consumers, that this was a membership site. Times are tough for all of us and I think preying on the innocent is wrong and diabolical. They don't tell you it's a membership until after you order and submit your credit card information. I was shocked and sick once I submitted my order to see that I would be charged monthly $39.95! Even if I don't buy a thing! How is this legal? Anyways, I immediately called (and waited for a rep to answer) on my cell phone for 45 minutes. All the while I am visualizing my minutes being sucked up by these swindlers! Not only are they basically raping my credit card, they won't be happy until they also take my cellular minutes!

When I finally spoke to someone, he was nice up until I said I wanted to cancel my membership. That's when he began speaking over me. He was not going down without a fight! But I wasn't either! I stayed the course and remained firm, no thank you! I was sounding like a broken record that I said it so many times. I am currently waiting for the shoes to be delivered as I was told it was too late to cancel my order since it was in route. After reading everyone's comments on the quality of shoes and all the blunders (wrong size, wrong color, wrong texture, uneven sizes), I am expecting the worse but hoping for mediocre. I will write my review when I see my boots in person - fingers crossed.

One helpful hint I discovered is use the live chat. You don't wait nearly as long and you can have actual written proof that you cancelled your membership! I plan to use that should they continue to charge my account. I also plan to change my credit card and issue a new one just to be safe! Not pleased with this site at all!

I looked at my statement for November and I noticed they charged my credit card at the end of October after I already cancelled and they tried it again in November. I had caught that one and called my credit card company to cancel the transaction in time. So I waited on hold for 30 plus minutes to get a real person. After talking to her and explaining I could not afford the 40 dollars a month at this time, which I already told them back in September, she told me, “Fine” and that I had a credit to use from the month of October, which was already off my credit card.

So today November 8, 2012 I tried to call to redeem my credit and after waiting on hold another 45 minutes, I was told my account was cancelled so I no longer have a credit. After arguing with this woman on the line, listening to her tell me lies from one day before I was told something completely different. They are poor business people that disregard their customers. All they do is lie! I would never buy another thing from this company and will tell everyone I know and can reach out to, don’t buy from JustFab! They are very impersonal and will charge your credit account without authorization. Be warned!

I had gone on JustFab to order from their 2 for $39.95 sale that I saw on TV. These people never mentioned their policy on TV or even on their website for that matter. Anyways, I got an email one day telling me I had 2 credits. When I went online to redeem my credits, everything went through smoothly until the next day, my father was pissed because he was just charged $39.95 for no reason. I was furious and decided to call JustFab, demanded a refund and the cancellation of my account. After keeping me on for half an hour, I finally got through to a representative. I requested a refund and she said she couldn't do anything because you can't refund a store credit.

After I told her I wanted my account cancelled, they had the audacity to try and convince me I was better off with them than without them. I made sure my request got through to her and hung up. This company is just here to gain money and scam you. Don't fall for it. You're better off paying double the price of shoes at Aldo than falling into this trap.

Well, I had seen commercials everywhere for all of these cute shoes that I could buy pretty inexpensive. I'm a college student with a part time job on the weekends so I thought, oh buying a nice pair of boots would be a splurge on myself for the first time in awhile. Wrong! For starters, the package took a week and a half longer than it originally said it would but I didn't need these for anything specific so I remained patient. I was so excited when I saw that the boots had come in. I opened them as I ran up to my dorm room. Disappointment was written all over my face. I had ordered a light tan pair of boots that were shiny. The boots I received were more of a dull gray color. And I thought, "Hmm, this doesn't look like what I ordered." But when I tried them on, I figured, "Hey, I just spent twenty bucks on these. I may as well wear them occasionally and they aren't horrible." But they did look much cuter in the picture.

In the box with the boots, there were some papers so I read them over. That's when I discovered that I would be charged a membership fee. I did not sign up to be a member. I just bought some boots! Or so I thought. Apparently, I would be getting charged $40 a month unless I chose to skip the month by the fifth. Well, when I looked at the date, it was the seventh. So of course, $40 was charged to my debit account. Great. So I called the number that is listed on the website and it was 45 minutes to even hear a real person's voice! 45 minutes! When I finally got to talk to someone, I explained my college/financial situation hoping that the woman on the line would be understanding, but all I got was attitude. She told me that the $40 charge was written in the terms of service and that it was my fault that I didn't read it. (Try saying that without an attitude, yeah she didn't try either.)

So I stayed on the phone with her arguing that I just wanted to get my $40 back and cancel my membership. After arguing for an hour, she said, "Fine, it's cancelled. Happy?" And then hung up on me! At the start of the call, it said that it was being recorded so I hope she was fired for being so rude. A little over a month later, I got an e-mail from my bank account saying that I overdrew my account. I really don't spend money because I'm so broke, so I was confused. But when I checked, the withdrawal was from JustFab.com. But how? I cancelled my account weeks ago! So I called customer service and again waited an unreasonable amount of time and finally someone answered. He said that in the notes to my account, it said that I wanted to cancel my account but ended up changing my mind. This did not happen.

So I tried to stay polite with the man on the phone because I knew that this was not his fault. Then he began to argue with me about how keeping my account could be so beneficial to me and how I could just skip the month whenever I couldn't afford it. I told him ‘no’ politely three times and then began to get angry when he insisted the seventh time. To say the least, this company is horrible. I will be sure to tell anyone I know how rotten and full of deception they really are. As for my satisfaction rating, I wish I could give zero stars.

When I called, they said they can only refund me 2 of the charges out of 6 back. She insisted on me using them on the site. The shoes bought were unbalanced so I never wore them and I couldn't even sell them on Craigslist. I want my money back, plain and simple. I was so excited to place my order on JustFab. I kept hearing about it everywhere, so before I signed up, I did my research. I was aware that it was a monthly subscription, and you have to hit skip, a month before a certain date, to avoid being charged. I was fine with that. I placed my order for one pair of heels; the shipping took about two weeks, in my opinion that was quite long. The shoes arrived; I was so disappointed with the quality. It did not even look like what it was listed. The sole of the shoes was poorly glued on; the seam on the quilted part of the shoes was coming undone. For $49, I expected a little more than that, not worth it one bit. I decided to get on the phone and call to cancel my service, not even looking to return or exchange, I just didn't want to be bothered by the company. I waited 30 minutes to speak to someone. I simply just wanted to cancel, the representative went on and on about how I could get a free gift, extra points, etc. I sternly said no. She gave me an attitude, and I had to wait about another good 15 minutes before she hung up.

I was on hold for 26 minutes before I talked to a representative, and she wouldn't listen to my request. She just kept telling me about all the great deals and how I should follow them on Twitter. Finally, after 10 minutes, she said that my account was cancelled. When I asked for a confirmation number, she said they didn't do that. To verify, I could add something to my account, and if the order wouldn't go through, that meant my account was cancelled. What a shady company.

I wanted to get a pair of boots for my new job and joined JustFab to get what are supposed to be great boots. Well, I got the boots and only after I received them was I told about the $40/month fee. Screw that. So, I looked online for customer service information and saw a live chat option. I clicked it and waited. And waited. And waited. About 15 minutes into waiting for a rep, I called the number, leaving the chat open just in case. I waited 45 minutes for someone to answer the phone. The person on the chat ended up answering before anyone on the phone so I asked them about canceling my membership. "We cannot do that via live chat, you will have to call customer service." What? You can't ask for my name and address to confirm my identity over chat? I told her that I had been waiting for over 30 minutes for someone to answer the phone and the only response I got from Ebony was "Oh no!"

I asked her to just give me the name of a supervisor so I may complain to them. She said that I can call the number. I told her I was not going to call the number, that I wanted the name of a person. In the meantime, someone finally answered the phone and I asked to cancel the account. She asked why and I said (because I am now frustrated with CS) I, "I am not at all happy with customer service." "Well, this is the first time you've ever called so what are you not happy with?" Imagine that sentence said with an attitude. It took 30 minutes to try and close the account. 30!

Seriously, 30 minutes of that. Well, I finally got her to say "I have cancelled your account." That's when she immediately hung up on me. So then I went to wait another 20 minutes for someone on chat to answer so I can get a confirmation number for my cancel account. Now I have wasted my entire lunch, plus some on these people. Not worth it in the slightest. Oh and I asked the woman on chat the second time why they're not allowed to cancel accounts via chat. She said, "Because we're not authorized to cancel account for security reasons" - or you try to annoy people into staying because you realize far too many people don't care about your company?

I ordered a pair of Chessey boots from their site, received an order number, and was charged for these boots. About a week later, when I tried to see where my boots were, I saw that there was a "cancelled" note on my order. When I called the first time, I was put on hold for 27 minutes before I hung up! Then, I called the next day and was put on hold for 22 minutes, before I hung up! Then I tried their live chat, where I waited 6 minutes to chat with someone, and after every response like "What is your name," it would take them about 2 minutes on average to come up with a response like "Thanks for your response." The agent was of no help to me and informed me that I would not be charged for these boots, and that due to high demand, the boots that I had ordered and paid for were given to someone else, and that there was nothing they could do about it.

After this I told her that in that case, they refund my money, and cancel my account with them. She informed me that I had to call in to cancel my membership. When I said that I have never been able to reach anyone on the phone because of the high wait times, she said there has been high call volume but unfortunately, I must call in. Finally after a week of trying, I reached someone. And the money that was supposed to not have been charged was in fact charged on the 7th of this month. When I spoke to the "fashion consultant," she told me it was out of their hands and that I have to call my credit card company to dispute the charge! When I told her to cancel my account, she had the audacity to ask me not 1 but 3 times why I was cancelling, and if I was sure, and what they could do to keep me as a member. I told her 3 times that this site has caused a nightmare, and I didn't want to keep my account. But she kept me on the phone for another 10 minutes trying to convince me to stay.

It was the largest hassle, and I'm still trying to dispute the charge with my insurance company for a boot I never received. Save yourself the worry. I read other reviews that said the boots were poorly made anyway.

I ordered a pair of boots because they were having a special and I got them for $19.95. All was good so far. Then, I noticed my account was charged $34.95 because they have a membership fee each month. I didn't know this because I was never told or sent the email that states you can "skip" a month and not be charged. They refunded me, which is apparently something they don't do, and then when I called to cancel (so I won't be charged the membership fee), I spoke with a Josh and he was quite the d-bag. He kept telling me I don't' have to cancel because I was issued the refund, which is something they don't usually do and that I can use the rest of the month. I'm not making any more purchases or getting any more bogus membership charges, so I said I just want to cancel. He continued to tell me that I got the refund so there's no need to cancel. Freaking **!

So now I have to wait until November (it's 10-12-12) to cancel and I am making sure to set a reminder in my phone! Also, to cancel your account, you have to call and wait on hold for at least 10 minutes - usually more and I have a feeling they have a crew of reps waiting to talk you out to canceling. Worst online experience ever. You can get high quality shoes and bags for less than $34.95 anywhere.
