They never did answer my question, but a couple months later my credit card was charged the $15, despite the fact that I told them I was not satisfied. Not only that but they have no "Contact Us" link and I cannot find a way to cancel my account! There is no form to fill out to send on their website. I think if I were to fill out the form that comes up on their Home page, I would have to pay for that too! This is indeed a scam!

Went on line a while back and asked a question about my car http://www.justanswer.com/new-question/optional-information.aspx?tqid=64246954 - the site claims that they will not charge you if you do not accept their answer. This is not true. They do charge you and they charge you before they answer your question. When they asked me to accept the answer or advise otherwise, I advised otherwise - they never responded other than to keep my money and not refund it, this is a rip off. Buyer beware! I still have no answer about my car and I am out the money they took.

I entered the Just Ask site wanting to get a yes or no answer to a legal problem my son was experiencing. Their first 'expert' hedged around giving an answer so I refused that one. The second gave the answer ‘Yes’ and a brief explanation. I accepted that answer which was supposed to carry a $38 fee. I checked my credit card bill the next day and found a $114 dollar charge! If you call their customer service number, you'll get circular recordings that do nothing to handle the issue. I believe this site is something to avoid like the plague. Two thumbs down. Wish me luck at getting this cleared up.

I asked a question about an appliance problem and just asked for payment of $24.00, so I paid through PayPal. I got an email asking me to give more info. This was at about 6:30 a.m.. I responded with more info and could not get an answer. Every time I would hit the reply button it would take me to the screen to pay (which I had already done). It said, you would receive an answer within an hour. I tried every, which way I could think of to email someone but there is no option to get a live person. I never got an email telling me there was a response to my question. I tried to log in and it would tell me that my email was already in their system and wouldn't let me in.

I contacted Just Answer regarding a computer issue I needed help with and as others who have complained I gave them my credit card information and was told I would not be charged till I got a satisfied answer. I entered my card information and waited and waited. It never did come back as being accepted. Needless to say, I never got an answer to my problem, therefore, I signed off.

Yesterday I had two charges of $9.00 on the 21st and $15.00 on the 23rd. I would appreciate reimbursement of my money as I had to have my son come over and take care of the issue. I also want my credit card information cancelled as I will never contact this company again. I would appreciate an answer to this issue as soon as possible. The consequences are that I have been charged $24.00 to my bank account and I am a widow and don't have money for issues such as this.

I used the JustAnswer service to ask one question. The service was helpful, but discovered that I was being billed $17 each month on my credit card for a service I never authorized to continue. I was billed for 4 times for their service that I never authorized. There is not a phone number and no live person to talk to if you have a complaint. I had to do contact via email and letter. I did receive my refund. I am disappointed that a company would bill me for a service I never authorized.

They stated there was a disclaimer when I was signing up for this service when I asked my question, but it must be hidden in a way or stated in a way that is not noticeable when you ask your first question. It now makes me leery to do any service online. I consider myself an intelligent person and use online services on a regular basis, but never came across a business that bills you when you never signed up for future services and does it in such a way that is under handed. I had to pay interest on this billing on my credit card.

After I used the service, I realized that somewhere hidden in their e-mails, I subscribed to a monthly service. I cannot get a live person to talk to to stop the subscription. Their answering service just refers you to their website or to email them. They have not responded to my request to stop my subscription.

I was unable to get my iPhone to connect wirelessly with my home network. Jesse had me take action which I had serious doubts about, and I expressed them to him but did anyway. The result was no internet service at all on either of my computers and inability to change my router settings because I couldn't connect! Until I requested a refund, he basically said call your internet provider or router company. When I requested a refund, he advised he would help me with any issue and didn't mean to shove off blame to someone else. No info he provided after that helped at all. He didn't seem to "get" my problem, and I'm not sure even read my mail explaining my issues.

I was just billed $58 from Just Answer. I have no idea what it is about, but found this site while searching. Who in the world are they, and how did they get my credit card info? Check all your credit card statements carefully if you aren't already.

This site starts by offering answers to questions without indicating, until several clicks later, that there is a cost. Then they claim that a charge will only be made if one is satisfied with the answer. But as one clicks on, one is required to give credit card info before the answer is even offered, and to boot, a "deposit" is charged, which will be held until one receives an answer one is satisfied with. When you try to exit the site, a window pops up with an offer of an introductory "free" account, which, one would assume to mean that a question would be answered without charge. Not so. As one proceeds, one is led to the same window requiring credit card info. In other words, there's no way of entering this self-described repository of information on all kinds of subjects without giving out credit card info. They are entitled to make a buck, but at least save people time and effort by indicating immediately that there is a charge for their service, and don't play games by offering a free introduction to their service which is non-existent!
