Herbalife is a helpful way to lose weight or maintain your weight. People think that losing weight by only try this product and not working out or eating a healthy meal. The results start working after a few weeks or up to a few months, Herbalife should be taken for your entire life, not for the moment. People should stop thinking that is product is going to miracles less than a week. I used to have back pain for months and I tried Xtra-calcium or joint support and this made my back feel better and made me more active.

I had joined above said centre on 11.09.2018 with good expectation to improve my health along with my parents. My parents left the centre within a short period and continue taking herbal products still. Myself is continuing to attend centre and taken shake and Afresh for 20 days with understanding that product will be taken from their centre only and I will continue exercise etc. After 20 days completed I started taking products from their centre at 19% discount only. Now today that lady Monika asking me to continue taking the product at the centre only. Therefore I discontinue going for exercise and continue taking the product from other sources. This shows that how much there is transparency in their centre. She has opened the centre only for business purpose and nothing else.

I started using Herbalife the end of June 2018. The first week I lost 6 pounds! Now here in mid-October I am down a total of 25 lbs! First off the key to these programs are finding a reputable distributor! The person I am dealing with does not ever push product! As a matter of fact they recommended I started out with 4 basic items! The PDM formula which is the protein base. The Formula 1 powder which is your flavor. Those two items make your shake. Then they recommend their tea. And the last item they recommend is the Aloe drink. On my own I decided to purchase a few other products. The Aminogen and the cellulose. As a matter of fact I was asking about certain other products my Herbalife distributor told me I did not need them at that time. Most of the complaints on here and readings are due to unrepresentable unscrupulous distributors.

The product itself works if you follow the program! I drink two shakes a day and have a very well-balanced healthy meal for dinner. As well as to high protein snacks between breakfast and lunch and lunch and dinner! I work out moderately. When I walked in the door I was 284 lb at 55 years of age. I am now down to 258 lb! They have tons of different recipes for different flavor shakes so you don't get bored. As well as recipes to make different food items with their protein base! I have tried many programs over the years and none have seem to work for me!

I find this the best fit for me! I highly recommend finding a reputable distributor in your area and trying this product out! My A1C from my diabetes went from 7.3 to 6.2! Like any other weight loss regimen if you do not follow the regimen you will not lose! Many people do not work the program correctly and want to blame the product! Again I highly recommend Herbalife! It has changed my health and has giving me astounding results! Good luck to everyone!

2 weeks ago (17 Sept 2018), I bought products through someone who sells herbal life. The products were manufactured in 2016 September, expiring September 2018 - in the next few days. Mistakenly, the agent ordered 3 out off the 5 products wrong. I asked the agent to exchange this, but they had no access to a phone so I had to call herbal life myself. When I called, the lady who answered the phone had no appetite to help. She just told me to give to tell the agent to sell the items to someone else. I tried to explain that the agent is 500km away. She said sorry there's no return policy, you will have to make a plan and ended the call. So I want to know what kind of business is this where customers are treated like this and sold expired products. Obviously there's no way I will use up a moisturizer and finish it in 1 week.

It's really very bad experience, whereas during purchase they take responsibility that it's good for health and it's not medicine. They says it's food, but will gain weight if we stop using it. They don't care if you gain weight after using, only suggestion is to take it for 1 more time and place order, if we ask for refund they start showing true colors by asking weight pictures. How can they think everyone should take weight pictures every day. But really bad service at Hyderabad whom I contact by WhatsApp. My advice is please don't waste your amount by believing them.

I have used Herbalife for the last 3-4 weeks and lost 8lbs in weight as well as reduced other measures. I strictly followed the plan given and started to go back to the gym most days before work. For me, I needed a kick start, after getting myself into bad habits with eating and being lazy after work, all triggered by a health issue. I found the products to be expensive and I found the referral system to get your products cheaper, another name for a pyramid scheme which is illegal in some countries. I found my rep to be polite and had no issues with him and the products combined with my new found fitness regime worked. But, I do think it comes down to the same old adage, if you're going to lose weight, you need to make some healthy lifestyle choices, review what you eat, eat healthy, drink less alcohol and exercise a lot more. I think I could have achieved the same results without the products.

I ended up going to Holland and Barrett and buying the equivalent - i.e. aloe vera concentrate, fat burn tablets, and cod liver oil. Protein shakes I am reviewing but I won't buy at full price again from Herbalife and I won't be convincing others to get it through me so I can get my already overpriced supplies slightly cheaper. If you're going to use this product, give it a trial run, everyone is different. But be prepared to put in 100% to get the results. Otherwise, don't waste your money.

I've just join this company to work for someone else as my job and my supervisor looped hole me into business and making me a business scandal. He made me want me to advertise these products thinking they are the best in the world when people are pretending are excellent when they just cheated it out with regular food in their lives. I've tried it myself for a month nearly 2 months and horribly hated it over time. They think it works on me, NO way it never and including the people I'm trying to promote on the street and the supervisor told me not to sell anything about Herbalife. Useless he say so but it's not working if people could like to know the company and the products first before they sign up.

This company is terrible for people who have or not have working jobs in Australia or in the world because basically you're just wasting all your money or saving for all buying these expensive and never work products even it's at the highest rating but it's never worked on me so this is the biggest mistake of my life. This is a cash grabbing company and I'm telling these losers to stop selling me more fraud products. The more they fraud other people in the streets, they get more better awards or achievement for being manipulating others and even friends to donate money to them for the best and from random people that they getting off from rejected application and everyone.

I'll stop working for these busts forever because this basically doesn't work even advertising around the streets by words and putting down the ad posters everywhere I go even on any social media. I never made any money from these idiots and my supervisor never explains enough about how to get clients and made excuses when he phone people about the company when they are in voicemail. These Herbalife staff members manipulation idiots just pretending that the products working on them giving great life when they don't have proper self control, plus I've tried the products, it's sucks and never changed my life in 60 days ago but same old person as before. Just have anger issues with using Herbalife products.

Remember these Herbalife products don't change people's life, they just made it worse by forcing them by buying more and more of these expensive and never works even exercising or workout. What real thing that a fit normal person would have a much better workout and eating the right foods without Herbalife because they have much better self control by not getting involved with them.

I had to leave work and take myself to the hospital. It's been 1 year and I haven't used the products since. It works with weight loss, sure, but the pains it brings isn't worth it. Now I have a ton of this product in my house, never touching it again. It's just spoiling away in a shelf somewhere. My doctors do not recommend. And another thing that won't go away? The people who sold it to me. They keep texting me to this day about new Herbalife products. I'm not buying it.

I tried the weight loss programme a couple of years ago. With exercise I did lose weight. I had to stop products as I had bad cramps after a couple of months. I assume it's to do with the intake of milk. Greatest downfall are the suppliers/vendors. A then close friend of mine was a seller, once he found out that I found someone locally selling Herbalife, rather than being happy I was trying this product he stopped talking to me. The lady I used was found on the Herbalife website. She came, took my measurements and weighed me. I made a note of all measurements for myself. She came out almost each week to check up on me. Then after 4 weeks sent me my progress, entering a larger weight to start off with showing a big loss, she was very happy for me and thought continuing product will help me further. When I corrected her she said she made a mistake, but still by continuing the products will help me lose weight.

After the cramps got worse, I stopped Herbalife. After 2 years now, I see on Instagram and other social media all these different programmes they offer now. The breakfast plan, free trial they send you some sachets of shake and small sachets of tea. I had now gained weight and thought rather than purchasing 2 big tubs of shake I'd ease myself into with the breakfast shakes. I texted the seller sending her pictures of what I had seen, ''free trial'' she sent me the link saying to place the order where the free trial would cost me £15. Which I did. I again had cramps, went to the doctors was told maybe it was the milk. So now I order the same trial pack to try with soya/almond milk she sent me less tea than what should be in the package, when I questioned her she told me oh she must've sent it out incorrectly. That she will get more tea sent out to me. Never got it.

As the almond milk worked better for me. I decided to go all out and place a weight loss program order. I placed order on the Sunday, sent her a text to let her know. She replied to say she will get product out asap. Wednesday came I still had nothing. By now I am talking myself out of this whole healthy thing (we know it take motivation to want to lose weight). Thursday I have message her asking where the products are. I was told she was still waiting on them. Friday now I've messaged her asking for a refund as £142 is a lot of money to waste as I literally had no more motivation. She replied that's fine send her my bank details as she will need to process refund now because in the evening she was going on holiday for 2 weeks. I tried another seller and was told as I've used someone else before I can't use them. Now 2 months later messaged and placed an order.

She had the nerve to call me and say I wanted to check your definitely going to use the product and not cancel again... which I had to highlight the only reason I cancelled was she didn't have the product. Well I again have paid for postage so ask her to post products to me (was a Thursday) so I can start on Monday. She told me that's fine. She will come and see me Monday (today) to take measurements and have a chat, and that I can drop her off at her house so I can see where she lives in-case I ever need to know. She basically wants a lift home after I'm spending £150 with her. I said ok.

Monday morning I get a text saying she hopes I have an amazing week, and how she will bring the products with her after 4 pm! I've replied saying I thought we agreed they would get posted so I can start today, she replied saying she sent products to her friend and royal mail have lost them and she should've messaged me to let know she wasn't posting them. It feels like all the seller want is your money. I have expressed how annoyed I am. As there's always something. Wish me luck if these product's turn up.

I requested a refund from Herbalife due to the fact I had an adverse reaction to their products. I'm being told it takes up to 4 weeks to do a refund. How in the world is this possible when it only takes them a few seconds to debit your account when you become a member. They received their product back a week ago and I haven't heard anything else from them. This company is very shady and their distributors are no better. They push these products and make you believe that they are best products in the world. They lie like a rug to get you to purchase them. Beware. The distributors are wolves in sheep clothing. I found this product to be extremely helpful. I have a motor neuron disease and am physically unable to maintain exercise programs due to other health issues, including epidermolysis bullosa simplex and PCOS etc. None of the diets recommended by doctors or specialists were having any results. I devoutly followed Atkins, CSIRO heart foundation, Bodytrim. I gained weight. I spoke to a nutritionist and a weight specialist and they both said they were sorry, but it seemed that I could survive on a peanut and there was little hope to lose weight. These diets and processes were costly and disappointing. I decided to try this product after the birth of my child, it was breastfeeding friendly and instead of gaining a kg per week as on other diet programmes, I lost a kg per week.

I had so much energy and felt great. I have had to stop purchasing this product however as it is not affordable. If you have the income to support it, it's fantastic. I found the best diet they offered was near $700 per month AU. Worth every penny if you can afford it. For me that worked out to $175 per kg lol! But I watched others without my health issues shed easily 10 kg in the first month and feel great for it. I tried the basic diet plan at $250 per month and it had no effect on my weight, but I didn't gain more as on other diets. I found the consultant I dealt with to be money oriented and it made me uncomfortable. I later met another consultant that was lovely and in the business for the right reasons.

Update on my review concerning the Herbalife supplements. After a visit to my primary care doctor, I learned that some of the supplements I was using were interacting with the prescription drugs I was taking. While I still am not convinced my friends are actually going to make any money in this business, the supplements are actually good. A lesson here: if you are on any prescription medications, be sure and tell your doctor about any herbal supplements you are taking. Some supplements can cause bad interactions with certain drugs.

    Original Review: May 16, 2017

I have been using Herbalife products on and off for a few years. I initially started using the products to help support friends/family members in their endeavors in Herbalife's business model. But, I watched my friends and family members go broke while the "big guys" in this company made money hand over fist! Since starting these products, my energy and mood greatly diminished. At first, I didn't link this to Herbalife. But, before starting Herbalife, I ate sensibly, took a few Ayurvedic herbal tinctures, and exercised vigorously 4-5 times a week. My hair was thick and lustrous, and I felt the best I have felt in my life! After about a year or so on the products, however, I noticed my energy levels were declining, my hair was falling out, and I started having problems with my digestion again.

Upon further review of the ingredients in these products, I saw they had a lot of artificial ingredients in them. I have spent a fortune on these products, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to throw them away and go back to my simple lifestyle; eating a healthy, well-balanced diet, along with vigorous exercise, and meditation practices. Sadly, I feel as though I have lost a lot of ground (not to mention money). It will take a lot of time to get my hair back in shape, and my fitness level back to where it used to be. Herbalife's customer service is extremely lacking, too. They would take forever to deliver my products and didn't even send me an email letting me know they had been shipped. I am so sad and disappointed with this whole experience.

I joined Herbalife in January this year, got on trial package on 10th. I lost inches, I felt amazing, they were very positive. I didn't lost anything but water weight, which happened because I started eating right. Everything was great, I became a member in March, or end of February, I'm not sure. I wasn't sure if I wanted to do it as a business or just stay a VIP client, my mentor, as they call themselves, tricked me into getting into business. I most definitely spend 500 dollars, more or less, in 4 months. I did see progress, but that was because of healthier diet, not the shake. I started getting hungry, they told me to get proteins to add to the shake, so I did. It tasted sweet, now it started tasting like it got bad. Then they told me to get aloe, I did and added it to my tea, I couldn't drink tea without aloe anymore. I doubt it's a healthy product, and I tell you this as a distributor, as it contains artificial sugars which have a bad impact of your brain from what I know.

But all that aside, the club and the team... It was great at first, but I decided to also find tips and workouts online since we only had boot camp twice a week and no one there knew anything about right dieting, so I looked at websites of certified dietitians and nutritionists, and found other kinds of workouts, which makes me think my mentor didn't greet with enthusiasm, her ego is prevailing. I didn't ask her to help me with anything too much, I knew what I was doing and if something wasn't clear I asked, and I didn't go to the STS because I was sick, after which I felt she is keeping me there for volumes.

I started distancing myself from them. My boyfriend visited and we went to see them, all they asked him about was Herbalife. And all their stories come down to or are about Herbalife. I am all for loving something and enjoying it, but it's consuming people, my sister-in-law is celebrating my niece's birthday a week early so she can attend the STS this month. And the products are making me sick now, I switched to regular food and eating frequently, doing everything I did except not using Herbalife anymore and I feel great. All they wanted from me were volumes and money, I got nothing from them. I also "won" a spa day which I still didn't get and I won a t-shirt which I didn't get.

I am attending my last event on Sunday and only because I won the pizza party which is occurring after the event, so pizza is the only reason haha. After that, I'm done with them, done with Herbalife. It's a waste of money. There are so many fit and healthy people out there who are using real, clean food. If they can do it, I can do it. All these promises of trips and obsessing over things they "won" makes me sick. Also, trips they win, they paid for in a way because they have to buy products to collect volumes to qualify. So I don't understand how someone can be so brainwashed.

I have had a good experience with using the Herbalife products but I do not do the business. At first I didn't know if I could give up solid food at breakfast, and I don't always give it up, but I surely do enjoy my routine of having a cup of coffee in the morning and then a nice shake to start the day. I have to admit, I add things to the shake like peanut butter, a banana, or a squirt of flavoring that you use in water bottles to mix it up every now and then.

I am 55 and truly feel like my body responds very well to the Formula One Shakes products. My skin is very healthy, my weight is staying balanced, I have minimal menopause issues, and regarding my hair, I feel like it is thicker than it's ever been. I see that's peculiar because I've read some reviews where people's hair was actually falling out following using the products. I do not like the tea and don't even like the aloe so I pretty much stick with my shakes and the multivitamin. It's a simple plan but it works for me.

I started to turn a little bit yellow, my hair was falling out, my fingertips wrinkly and I started to feel nauseous. Never once did I think it could be the milkshake from Herbalife product one because it's a milkshake right. At first I was taking the whole starter kit pack but after a while it was just the milkshake. I stopped the milkshake for a month. I felt more energy, no wrinkled fingertips, my hair was starting to grow back.

I bought it again. This time after one week the same thing started to happen again. I had a liver function test. My LT was over a hundred and my AST was over 40. Pretty high for being above the normal range. This is the only thing I was drinking I have no medical conditions. I stopped and retested blood work after 2 months. Everything went back down to normal again. I do not think this product is safe. Not sure what it is but it did elevate my liver enzymes.

I think two of the tricks to this is to drink LOTS of water and eat snacks and the one main meal that is high in protein. By doing this, I realized that the way I was eating before was not a lot of food, but were things that were high in fat, sugar, and calories. Now, I feel like I eat a lot of food even though it is high protein and fiber. I don't see how anyone is going hungry doing this plan. The shakes taste awesome also!

I started my Herbalife journey on Monday, October 24th, 2016. I knew I had to do something because I was not happy with my weight. I am only 5'2 and weighing 210, I was cranky all the time, nothing fits, and let's not even talk about the food I was eating. I decided to do Herbalife because my friend had great results, so I told myself, let me just buy it. I was only able to buy the shakes, due to financial reasons, but I figured something is better than nothing.

Day 1- the first time I tried it, I didn't know how much water to put or how much ice, so it was a little watery for my taste, but still better than other shakes I have tried. I had a piece of cheese for snack, an Atkins frozen food for lunch, some almonds for snack and another shake for dinner. I felt bloated, and even had to use the restroom a few times that night. Please keep in mind, that I am not regular. I would just go every 3 to 4 days. Day 2- tried the shakes with less water, but still too watery. Had the same foods as Monday, and lots of water. For some reason on Day 2 I was really thirsty. Day 3- Finally got the shake to look more like a smoothie, had the same foods as above. This time I feel like I've lost a few pounds, but I haven't weighed my since. I want to try to wait until it's been a week officially.

Plans, similar to Nutrisystem worked but once you were off their overpriced food, you gained even more weight back. I'm not a distributor but I did sign on to get the product cheaper. I find, if made correctly, it's delicious and a great meal replacement! The supplements have gone a long way with helping me gain more energy so that I could move my lazy butt and get out and do some walking, riding and swimming!

I've learned portion control and even checked with my "professional nutritionist" who, by the way isn't with Herbalife, and she helped me pick the right supplements and made sure I was getting what I need. My coach, I think, has learned as much from me as she from me! Does it work? OMG, yes...down 60 lbs and it's staying away! Why? It has to be a lifestyle change and NOT a diet! Once you reach your goal weight, you simply go on maintenance and eat regular food with portion control!

I wanted to lose those fats around my belly and my arms and double chin to disappear. I'm a short girl, just 5'1" and I'm 20 years old. My weight was 51. And trust me, my bmi was fine too. But yet looking at my bulging belly I was not happy. Gym never worked out for me. So I stepped into Herbalife on August 3. Today is August 26 and now I weigh 45. That's my ideal goal. And really, weight doesn't matter for me. My belly fats has lessen so much I'm surprised myself. People started commenting that my face look slim like how it was one year ago. My thigh gap has started to come out. I'm so happy with this result and I'm still going to use this for my abs to get visible. Yes abs. I have started getting upper abs.

Isn't it awesome? I can wear crop tops now and don't have to wear baggy clothes at all. But yeah, I had a hard time in the beginning. Stomach bloating, regular nature call, water intake goal. My coach told me to take 2L water by the way. But after a week or so everything became well. I'm really happy. If you want to see my pics of before and now, I can show you. Happy with Herbalife. Another shake in the noon and small dinner but reasonable portion. As soon as I drank my morning routine I felt awful. It makes me bloated, wanted to puke, hungry all the time, cold sweat, dizziness, headache. I thought WTH! Why am I having all of this symptoms? Is this food poisoning? I asked my coach and she said that it was good, I should continue.

Day 2-4 my hair started falling like crazy. I was going to quit but my coach said, "Don't, just stick with it and you will feel much better after the detox." And boy I did feel better. Started to feel better day 6, and I weigh myself first time since getting the products. I lost 2kg. I can't believe my eyes! 2kgs! I'm so happy! And since day six I've been feeling more energized, alert, hair loss back to normal.

The detox symptoms is lessened, no more bloating. A pimple came out. No more hungry feeling. Less craving (if I'm hungry I drink half shake). I feel a whole lot better, more healthy, and drank 3-4L of water per day. It helps! You should be drinking at least 3L water daily even if you didn't drink Herbalife. What I really like about this is that I stopped feeling tired & sluggish. But I've also read many reviews where it didn't work. I feel bad because if it didn't work then it's a big waste of money. I have naturally curly, very thick hair; I used this product for a little over a month and it made my hair oily, dull looking and did absolutely nothing for the frizz. It also caused it to go a bit flat I.E. nowhere near as much natural curl as I had prior to use. It doesn't smell good at all and every time I used it, I didn't feel like my hair was even coming clean. To top it off, I couldn't even brush or comb through my hair normally during use because it caused my hair to tangle a lot more easily.

I've tried the shakes; they're pretty good tasting but I wasn't a huge fan of them either aside from taste. I really didn't notice anything significantly change in me except that I was more hungry! Overall my experience with Herbalife was not wonderful. And the aloe drink that they sell is EXACTLY the same product as the aloe sold by another get rich quick company called Market America. If you want a weight loss plan that's healthy, try the Purium cleanse. I love that! Herbalife however is just not for me.

For four years I've watched and watched one after another people receiving amazing results. I realize that in all my years of working out by myself and little knowledge on weight loss, that I hit a wall on losing weight around my stomach. A month ago I purchased my very own Herbalife package. In it was two flavored shakes: one protein mix tea, Cell-U-Loss and Thermo-Bond. Within my first month I lost 9 pounds (you can see my results on Instagram at **) and gained plenty of energy and muscles.

I'm not sure what many was told by the people that sold them the product, but the person that sold my package to me explained that, "I have two shakes a day and one full nutritious meal", just like everyone explained. But in addition to that, I could have a mini meal (nutritious) with my shake, also to have a snack (nutritious) within every 2-3 hours also to drink plenty of water. I eat all day but the gaps are so well-planned out I'm burning off the food previously before I eat again thus keeping my metabolism high all day in addition to a 20-30 min workout three times a week.

I read that people have had bad pooping issues but I read clearly on the back of the Formula 1 and all other packages that before taking the product, one should meet with their physician, which means to me, "find out if your body can handle the product" because people might have health issues with soy or caffeine. Be careful and read the information on the back of the product and if your distributor fails to explain any of the suggested info to you that I mentioned here, contact me at ** and I'll do my best to assist you with your issues with the product.

I was fooled by an agent to buy 100 euros worth of products. Everybody wants to get skinnier, I wanted to gain weight. Actually I didn't wanted anything, but someone recommended me to measure myself because is free and they can tell me what can I do to have more energy. In theory I think they are right, I need to gain weight, so I reach the normal parameters and the energy will come with it, and suddenly it sounded like a good idea to try something new since with the food is not working. The agent gave me a shake to try it, he said is his dinner (I feel so sorry for him now), it was not bad at taste, but I felt my stomach bloated the whole evening. Not saying that was sweet and artificially flavoured and this will become irritable very soon if you use it 3 times a day.

Me as a vegan I should have spotted this from miles away, but I was weak and I was fooled. After I purchased two shakes and two boxes of magical pills the plan was to start from the next morning. I put 2 spoons of powder in my usual smoothies (breakfast) but couldn't finish it till noon, I had the same bloated stomach feeling. This was the last attempt. The agent called me 3 times but didn't answered yet, of course he did and he'll do it again, I'll try to return them but reading these reviews might have 0 chances. Lesson learned: never ever buy something expensive and dubious without investigating first, and the sad thing is I had plenty of time to investigate while I was there.

Because the package from each product is made from such good material that I believe it can be recycled and also hope that this can bring down the cost of the product. The people who can use this product to improve their health may not be able to afford Herbalife products and this is very sad. I would love to see more persons benefiting from this product.

You will spend hours trying to get a hold of someone on the customer service line then they will be absolutely no help. They will tell you they will call you back and they won't do that either. I have been taking Herbalife products for a couple weeks now, and I have already lost 9 pounds! I wonder if some of these other reviewers actually tried the products, as I have had none of the issues that some of these others have had. I feel so much better since I have been using the products. I love the taste of the formula 1 shakes, and I have been drinking the tea in the afternoon. I have been replacing two of my meals (usually breakfast and lunch) with shakes, and then eating a healthy, balanced dinner. I feel energized, focused, and more motivated since I started. The prices are really decent compared to other nutrition companies as well.

True, people that all of a sudden intake more fiber and protein may have more/irregular bowel movements, but that is just your body reacting to the change in nutrition. It doesn't matter if it is Herbalife or another protein shake by a different company, your body still needs to adjust to the extra protein, and everyone knows (or should know), that increased fiber means your bowels move quicker = your body has to adjust. You can't just change your diet or nutrition, and all of a sudden expect your body to react just as quickly as you changed. You need to give it some time, follow the guidelines from Herbalife, and you will feel great and lose weight!

I tried to use Herbalife products last year (Dec. 2015). I bought the shake formula, aloe and tea. I was advised to drink the aloe, tea and shake every morning and avoid eating high carbo diets and meats (except chicken and fish). I did not have any result after the 21 day period. I thought that maybe because I did not follow much the instruction. I admit that I cheat, I eat my usual diet because of the holiday season. So January of the following year, 2016, I decided to buy again the product, the same formula. Aloe, tea and shake but this time they intensify the amount of products to be consumed.

The agent requires me to take aloe, tea and shake in the morning, tea, aloe and regular healthy food at lunch and aloe, tea and shake for supper. Aside from this, I have to consume lots of fluids the whole day, that makes me have 5x extra trip to the CR to pee. I am also required to have a 30 mins. exercise. I follow all the instructions. I am now on my second week but see no changes even a small decrease in weight. My coach told me that maybe I am not following the procedure but that's not true.

I am barely eating real food. How come it still don't work? They advise me to take another product, the vitamins and minerals, and so I did. I take it 2x a day. But still no result. They want me to buy another product, the fibroherb, but I guess that is too much, I am spending a lot of money for the product. And I am not happy with the result. I am giving Herbalife 2 weeks chance to effect their promised weight loss for me, after that if it still won't work, then I will stop consuming their product anymore.

I am sorry that any of you felt scammed by Herbalife. I however was not. I love the product. You cannot just do the shakes, you must use the cell activator with it (at least). It opens up cells in your body to absorb the protein properly. Due to our hormonal society of food. Our body has a hard time absorbing nutrients correctly in the body. Anything in a fruit or vegetable you buy at the store that has any chemical additive in it. The body will not recognize therefore will think of it as waste and will not absorb it.

I have taken all the minimum recommendations of this product without doing a vigorous exercise. Products as in metabolic tea, shakes, cell activator, multi-vitamin, and my favorite Aminogen (works great to bring skin back to its original form from weight loss). And yes the product is pricey. But I am going to be getting back on it. It's worth it. Another thing you are not suppose to mix any other protein products with this. It ruins the cell make up of the product. And if you mix you will gain and see no results. Compare... straight whey protein shakes to Herbalife. Blend both up. Herbalife does not separate, it absorbs while whey does not absorb (which means if it doesn't absorb water it doesn't absorb in your body).

I measure 5 feet 5, 162 lbs. (Size 10 -12 dress pants). I want to find a product that I can take at least 3 days per week... instead of only drinking green tea. After having already lost 4 pounds, I paid 20$ (too much) for this dubious product. The powder mixed easily. I also bought for 23$ at NoFrills 1 kilo of milk powder with whey protein (but after 10 days I got tired of that mixture). The Cookies and Cream meal replacement shake did make food seem disgusting to you (which was a desirable side-effect). I felt full. However, I knew there could be irreversible side effects if one takes this product for more than a month or so...

Now looking for a similar shake which cuts the appetite (in the three day trial were also caffeine pills, not a good idea for somebody who never drinks much theine nor caffeine, to take two in a day, will make you too jittery... should come in smaller dosage). The advantage of caffeine pills, you do not need Red Bull then, and as you do not drink the caffeine in a liquid form, it does not stain the teeth (as it goes directly to the stomach). Hope this is helpful.

I must admit that the first 2 days of using Herbalife were very difficult because I was so accustomed to consuming unhealthy meals. After the first 2 days, it became so easy and I felt so much better. My only downfall is that I have failed to begin to exercise. I also hear many saying that the product is expensive. Where can you purchase 2 meals for approximately $3.35 per day. I derived at this figure by purchasing Formula 1 for $50 (usually cheaper) and Total Control for $50 dividing by 30 days. I only figured the Formula 1 and total control because this is how I started the program. I later added the Cell-U-loss.

This product does work, and I have saved lots of money. I saved so much money because before Herbalife, I ate breakfast $5.00, lunch $7.00 and sometimes dinner $7.00. That is a total of $19 per day on average. See, I am saving almost $15 per day which means that I can afford to use Herbalife. I would definitely recommend Herbalife to friends, family, and all others. This product does work and I plan to continue to use the product. Did I forget to mention that the meal replacement shake is so delicious. There are 9-10 flavors available and adding fruits, nuts, PB2 and other healthy ingredients gives a totally different flavor.

I find it funny that the only posts on this site regarding Herbalife are people who may have had negative experiences or didn't use the products correctly but feel the need to get on here and call it a scam or beat down on the company as a whole because you may have dealt with a distributor who possibly just wasn't a good distributor. I use the products and since I have used the products my life has changed. I have lost weight, have more energy and even have better workouts now. Not EVERYONE who uses or distributes the product is just trying to just "sell" the products. Everyone has different experiences with products. But, keep in mind, it is a business and people in business are in business to make an income.

Many distributors sell the product because they personally use it, have gotten results, and believe in the product. Then, there are those out there who are just out to make a quick buck and it's pretty apparent when dealing with them who they are. I have used several products that I didn't particularly like or didn't think worked for me but I didn't go online and bash the entire company and the distributors of the product. There are just as many people who have had amazing experiences with these products.

Luckily, I know the products work and I know that a lot of people who tear them apart either had a bad experience with the products or a distributor or didn't do the WORK. Everything affects each person in a different way. It doesn't mean it doesn't work or is a scam. I don't need to try to convince anyone to "buy" Herbalife or try to force it down their throat. My results are speaking for themselves. When someone asks me I am more than happy to help them get started on the products.

I've been using Herbalife products for a week now and have not experienced any of the side effects mentioned. I have stuck to the plan a shake for breakfast with added protein powder and a tablet. 2-3 hrs later a low calorie/15g protein snack and then for lunch my second shake with tablet and added protein powder. I'd then have a protein bar for my afternoon snack. For dinner I had salads, with grilled chicken and a tablet. I also consumed water. Everything seems to be working fine I have felt so full I had to make it a point to eat more chicken so I could meet my daily marks. You have to have the self discipline to stick to your plan and not cheat.

It seems to me that some folks are expecting a lot from the 3 day samples and common sense says those are so you can try them to see if you will like the taste etc. and not for immediate weight loss. Weight loss takes time and is not instant. Also people have to understand that your sales rep is their own business owner/operator. Some of them are business minded and have the necessary people skills while others do not have those skills. If you have a bad experience with that particular rep find another one that fits what you're looking for. At the end of the day their individual sales and ability to treat their customers right earn them return business and $$$. So if you have issues address them try to resolve them and allow that person to try and make it right and if not take your money to another rep.

I guess what I am getting at is if you honestly haven't given this product a fair chance to work - no, 3 days isn't enough - try to be an adult and communicate with your rep if there is an issue instead of leaving a misinformed passive aggressive comment. I do understand that we are all built differently and this might not work for everyone and some might have adverse reactions. For example some people react to caffeine differently or gluten, or sugar than others and they adjust their diets accordingly. Not everything is right for everyone.

I decided to take the herbalife shakes, tea and aloe water when I found out a family friend was selling the product. I was a full time fashion student at the time. I'd take my breakfast shake, drink my tea and have my aloe water throughout the week. I'd have fruit for snacks, small lunches and dinners. Keep in mind I was standing a lot during this time.

At first it was great. In about 2 weeks or so I lost 2 inches off my waist. I was so excited I couldn't wait to lose more. Well after the first 2 weeks I began feeling jittery... and my heart would beat a little funny. I'd have to take some time to just relax and sit down to get my heart to beat normal. This happened for about a week. I told the lady I was getting this product from how I was feeling and she said I was feeling this way because she needed to increase the amount of powder she was putting in my shake. I couldn't handle feeling this way, and I no longer wanted to invest my money into this product and feel like **. So I stopped taking all herbalife products.

As far as my diet went I was still eating small portioned meals, fruits etc. Guess what... I gained back more than what I lost on herbalife. My clothing fit me so tight I was so bummed. I see how herbalife is growing and how the only way you can join a fit club around my area is if you consume this product. All these people have lost large amounts of weight, but honestly what's going to happen once they get off this product? After my experience I discovered that my aunt had also had a bad experience with this product. She also gained weight after she got off herbalife. She said this product triggered her anxiety. I just wanted to share my story. I have not used any other products such as herbalife since. This was back in 2008. Eat clean, stay active and just strive. No products are safe. To be fit takes work. But it pays off. Believe me. I'd rather cry through a work out than cry because some product backfired on me.

I gave him back the product and he told he would give me my money back. It's been two months. Every time I ask him about the money it's a different excuse. The wellness coach has a health club The Nutrition Spot that has many activities through the week ranging from running to cardio workouts. This has been a great experience and have lost 32 pounds in 7 weeks. The program works it if you work it.

VERY expensive and not filling. For me, this was a very difficult diet to stick to. I was always hungry. And the pills ("tablets" as they like to call them). My gosh. So many of them. Never again.

I refuse to starve myself to lose weight. Since stopping the shakes I've been gassy which luckily for me isn't normal. I felt tired and sluggish while taking the protein shakes. Now that I'm eating healthy but no weight loss supplement I feel better and have actually lost weight. There's too much sugar in Herbalife. Too many chemicals. But from the third day onwards I started feeling so tired, exhausted, severe headache, feverish, bloated stomach, constipated, legs pain and of course stomachache. As a result on the 5th day, I felt so weak to even get up from the bed and I am on sick leave from my work. Feeling puckish with stomachache everytime I am having anything.

I am reading now - it causes liver damage, so I am planning to take it for 2/3 more days (as I am told that for the initial days it is cleaning the toxins from your body). If my health continues to be the same, I will discontinue it for sure. In the get together by the distributor, they were so impressive and gentle that they convinced me to buy it. I'm not familiar with complaining and report proceed but I hope someone take care about my claim or at least help me in this situation. Due to her overweight she start to use Herbal life products like shakes, pills and supplement to lose some weight and the salesperson at shop convince her to purchase more than $250.00 for full package. But from day 5 she felt bad gradually and we found lot of side effect regarding to those products like itching, loss hair and constipation. So she stop using those shakes, pills and other supplement and return all those by end of that week which was 1 week after the purchase (May 5th 2015).

Now it's more than 2 weeks that she return the products but they did not send him back the money and each time she went over there they said they will. So she didn't use any of that products but she still have a problem and suffering with defecating so she needs to use over the counter medicine like laxative to help her Defecate every other day (1 time every 2 days) and she still suffering from headache. It's really hard for both of us.

She doesn't have insurance to visit the doctor and I guess it cost her more than $70 for visit plus she spending more than $50 on medicine. When she recourse to shop to refund the money and complaint about disease, they didn't give her any attention and told her this is not their fault and illness coming from another source not their product. So we still waiting to refund the money and she keep using medicine for recovery.

Another friend of mine have a same problem with them and she's under recovery too. So I think it should be better to hang out a sign at their shop to let the customer knows about side effect, constipation or those trainers or salesperson should inform them about probable problems and sickness. So sure many more people out there suffering for same reason with no accountability.

I have recently purchased Herbalife from a person that I knew from childhood. I saw her results and thought wow I want to try that! I of course did my homework and these were the 2 most helpful websites I came across and think anyone looking to purchase the product or become a distributor should take a look and get educated about the company before deciding to do anything. **

I did go ahead and purchase some products but after a day I just felt sick to stomach about purchasing from this kind of company. The girl selling the product also didn't help her case because when I confronted her about the accusations that were brought about the company itself and the ingredients that were said to cause liver damage and other such accusations about GMO's being in their products, she replied with, "well... when was the last time you ate a McDonald's hamburger?" I replied, "like 1 year ago, why?" Her reply was, "well people eat things that they don't know what's in it all the time, so what do you have to lose?"

This reply only made me more uneasy because I was upfront with her in the beginning and told her that I have a blood disease called hemochromatosis which is when your body creates too much iron and the iron attacks your organs. I then began asking her how much iron was in each product she was telling me about and she flat-out lied and said she couldn't find the iron count so there must not be iron in them. She then proceeded to try to get me to buy multi-vitamins which I cannot have either because they have iron in them and Vitamin C. If she had any nutritional background, she would know that I can't have Vitamin C because Vitamin C helps to absorb iron.

I have received my products in the mail and just after having this kind of experience with the distributor I told her I don't feel comfortable purchasing products from a company that has so much ethical controversy surrounding it while also purchasing from someone who lacks the knowledge to meet my individual needs. She argued with me and does not understand my point of view but that is expected when you are talking to someone who is not educated in the field and is more worried about making a sale than the actual health of the person they are talking to. At the same time, now you know why this company is consistently being investigated by the FDA and is paying for the lack of accountability that they take.

The one good review I have about the company is that they are very good if you don't want the product and will take it back in no time. The bad part is telling the distributor/sales person you don't want it and having her trying to persuade you not to return it because she is losing a sale now. I would have actually preferred just going through the website instead of having to talk with the sales person because I knew more than she did anyway and I might have actually tried the product first before returning it.

The point I'm trying to make is: to anyone looking to get healthy and better themselves, please do your homework because the companies selling products or the people selling them to you do not always have your best interest at heart. When I did my research I found that Herbalife budgets 40 million dollars a year for marketing their image while only setting aside a minimal amount to almost nothing to test their products.

So my question to Herbalife is how can you have people sell your product who have zero nutritional or medical background while you yourselves admit that you don't even really have a budget to test your products and then expect me to trust your brand? Just because a company can afford to put out an amazing image and get someone fit to sell the product does not mean they are qualified to give people advice about serious medical issues that they have. Let's be smart and look past the smoke and mirrors to the hard facts that are being presented against Herbalife. Thank you for taking the time to read my complaint. I hope this helps with your journey into living a healthy lifestyle.

I stopped taking it and within the first week I lost all the weight Herbalife made me put on and coming up two weeks off it I have lost more! I feel more "me" and have more energy being off of it. I was speaking to a PT at my gym and she didn't nor did anyone else really have anything good to say about these products and trying it for myself I can see why! It really does nothing or maybe I just got a really, really bad batch.

I had done 1-2 shakes a day of Herbalife off and on throughout 3 years time (2010-2013). Overweight my entire life and bad eating habits motivated me to look for something to push me fast forward into changing my lifestyle. I knew I wouldn't lose weight overnight, at the time I didn't see my genes having the capability of being 'skinny'... I just needed to be healthy. Dived in head first with my Herbalife gal, shakes everyday... I had tried out some of their supplements off and on but never stuck with anything consistently. I did feel better, my moods were better, energy levels were much better, everything seemed great!

January 2013, after 3 long years of doing Herbalife here and there, I decided (mostly because of the expense) to stop the shakes completely and incorporate my healthy lifestyle changes I've learned into full speed. Over time (2/13-10/2013)... I started to notice I was eating less and less food, I wasn't able to eat much of anything without feeling like I was going to get sick right after eating. I'm talking less than a cup of food as a meal. If I'm lucky. 11/2013 I got down to only eating a piece or 2 of broccoli and a piece or 2 of sweet potato (Since I couldn't consume much, I found sweet potato and broccoli to be more nutritious for what I could consume). Shortly after this period I then got down to potato chips... I was having a hard time consuming anything, and when I say chips, I mean I'd eat 1-2 chips. I tried Ensure and Boost due to my concern of malnutrition and was not able to consume those as well.

I've been through a lot of testing... Endoscopy, colonoscopy, ultrasounds, barium swallow, cat scans, barium ct scans... Bloodwork.. You name it we've tested for it. Everything negative, biopsies fine, I'm the 'picture of perfect health'. I am 100lbs down from 225lbs in 2010 (I lost 40lbs in less than 3 months 11/2013-1/2014) and over time I keep losing weight. Granted I lost the weight, but not the way I wanted to and I can't help but think, now that I am in the middle of tests on my liver, that the shakes may have affected my entire digestive function. I've never smoked, I don't drink alcohol and the only beverage I've drank in the past 3 years is filtered water. No soda... No coffee... No juice.. Nothing. To this day I eat nothing processed or fried. I eat organic and vegan (due to my consumption issues)... Never had any previous health issues until I stopped drinking the shakes???

When these popular stimulants were banned from the market they were upping the amount of soy in their regimen. They based the amount according to the client's weight. As a female weighing 155 pounds at the time, with a goal weight of 120. They said I needed to consume 100 grams of soy in my shakes a day, and more soy with my snacks. I was sucked into becoming a distributor for the discount, using the products I had constant issues and concerns. Upon starting it I had major bleeding when using my bowels. I was told I was just cleaning out. I had dizzy spells, I was told to have extra shakes. I had headaches, I was told that was normal. I wasn't losing any weight, I was told I wasn't following the program correctly. There was always an upbeat happy reason for everything and was told to always keep going. I was eventually told not to use soy milk anymore and to mix it with water and that would shift my weight. My skin, nails & hair didn't improve as I was told everyone's does, I did not have extra energy and I was told to take more NRG, I was already taking 4 a day.

End result is more weight than I started with and I have liver damage! Before starting Herbalife I went and had full check up and blood done, including liver function which came back normal. Now after using Herbalife my liver function is not in normal range and has incurred damage. I do not drink alcohol and after doing some research I've seen that it's quite common for people to suffer liver damage. The one thing I heard over and over was people thanking Herbalife for changing their lives, blessing the products. Well thank you Herbalife, you definitely changed my life, I'm now sick.

I started taking Herbalife end of Oct 2014. I may have lost 6 lbs, I have spent so much on this product. Shakes twice a day. Our outfit here has different challenges, the first and only one I tried I felt I was setup to fall. We were paired with a person which I did not know. Now don't get me wrong I love people but, when you do not know someone it's hard to do a challenge with someone you don't know. My work schedule is like most everyone. The store is only open 7 am - 2 pm. I work those hours, cannot get there. I was told I would have all this support, well NOT.

I would not recommend this to anyone. Now my friend has lost a lot of weight, has been over a year but I just don't like complicated things and to me this is a pyramid. TOO MUCH MONEY. We might as well eat cardboard. I am just a down to earth country girl who takes care of others and her family and wants to be healthy. My husband has been my biggest supporter through all this. So when he tells me it's time to give it up and move on that's what I am going to do. Just my thoughts, this product is not worth trying.

The only product we still buy is Best Defense as it works when both my husband and I are sick or when we are about to get sick. Airborne makes me sick. The second star is, because I did meet some neat people through my couple years at Herbalife. Products are expensive and vendors under or mis-educated. I would try to ask questions, but rarely got a straight or solid answer. The company seems sales driven, and if you have a club and are selling the product you have to work your tail off, day and night it seems, in order to do well. I saw one seller struggle and felt real bad for her. I am not sure if the clubs are a scam to trick people into thinking they will do very well and win all these prizes and money, but clubs have popped up everywhere on the Central Coast, yet I've really only seen one that is thriving.

I really liked the products when I first start to consume the aloe, tea and shake. It lowered my blood pressure, the reason I started taking it, because I heard all these claims of health benefits, but then it started to do the opposite and so I stopped using the products. It continued off and on for about another year as I mentioned earlier I enjoyed the company of people I met at the clubs, and I also enjoyed the cleansing effect. In the beginning I did not do it for weight loss as I was content with my shape, but I then ended up gaining weight and am now having a heck of a time losing it! I now have a "baby belly" and am not pregnant, never have I had such a belly! Not cool at all.

I do attribute it to the Herbalife products. I also tried some of their pills and got headaches which I was told was normal, because my body is just being cleansed from toxins. No matter what they said I stopped taking the pills. Let me have my toxins! Not worth the headaches. When consuming the beverages I would find myself very hungry after even though I was told it should do the opposite and no one could tell me why. I've spent too much money and wishful thinking in Herbalife. I've been off it for a while and am worse off than when I started. I truly do not recommend Herbalife.

I am a middle aged woman who needed a boost in the weight loss area. I have tried so many weight loss products and programs with no lasting affects. I had Rapid weight loss in the first two weeks but after that it was downhill. One day I was asked to try a free shake meal which included a protein shake, aloe, and tea. The shake was great, tea and aloe a little bland. Took some time to get used to. The rep began to ask me question about my weight and my health. Everything I said that was wrong with me she had an answer for. Which was great because if you are going to be a sales rep you have to know your stuff even if it is a lie. I was completely mesmerized by the answers that I came to the site everyday. They even had a challenge that I participated in. Who every came in to purchase the most meals in a month wins the meal and protein canisters and second prize was the hair care line.

Last year's winners were posted and their baskets were full of goodies. This led me to believe that I would win some awesome prizes. I started the challenge, half way through the rules changed. Now you can bring people from your household to join you team. SMH. All I had were kids, how many shakes were they going to drink. Not even realizing that I had already spent 200 just by coming into the store for my meals. That's a month worth of groceries. I did have weight loss results and I was motivated but for all the wrong reasons. Toward the end of the challenge the rules changed again. Now you can bring in anybody to join your team as long as they are not a member yet. Well my first place spot was gone. I ended up in second place, lost 14 pounds overall, I felt great, but only ended up with a shampoo and conditioner which was worth less than 20. I felt like I was sweet talked into this contest. Speaking of sweet. Did you ever wonder how they end up with so many flavors at the shops?

I watched my shakes being made because I was curious. If the shakes are all natural and healthy then why are they adding jello mix, and jello pudding mix and other sugar ingredients to make the shakes taste better. I have also noticed that they give you the calorie count only for what's in the canisters but not for what is added to complete the great tasting shake. Each store has its own way of presenting the product to get sales up. The whole time I was participating in the contest I was told that's it was cheaper to become a member and get the discount. Well that wasn't true either. I saved by going into the store and getting the complete meal versus becoming a member and losing more money. By the end of the month I spent over $300 on trying to lose weight. No weight loss should cost that much. I should have invested in an exercise mat, small weights, a water bottle, exercise videos, a ymca membership, and some fresh fruits and veggies to make my own smoothies.

I have truly learned my lesson. Diets don't last forever. You have to be in control. If you want to lose weight don't stop eating. Consult a nutritionist, most insurances cover them also they have them at your local YMCA. You can't lose weight without commitment, motivation exercise and a lifestyle change. Find out what foods are good for you. Don't go into debt with quick weight loss plans because you either become very unhappy with not being able to eat real food or you end up gaining your weight back and more once you stop the program. I like to eat. But now I eat small healthy meals every two hours, and not after 7 pm. FYI, if you like herbal life you can get it cheaper on amazon with out becoming a member. I'm guessing the members who realized that this wasn't the business for them need to get rid of the product some how. You can also buy the same type of products at Wal-Mart and GMC for more than half the cost. You owe it to yourself to be healthy and happy. Do your research before investing in any products. Don't get sucked into what sounds good because you might not feel good physically and mentally when it's all over. If you have medical conditions consult your doctor to see what they recommend. Be true to yourself and you won't fall for the Bologna. :-)

I went in starving hoping this would fill me up because I been making my own protein shakes for a year now but I didn't tell them. The coaches were nice but the product didn't work. I know I only had one but it didn't fill me up. As soon as I went home I had two chicken thighs with hot sauce. Plus it’s not good to drink smoothies over two months. These people were claiming they been drinking nothing but that junk. And then they gave me this tea they said would give me more energy than coffee. Yeah right. That didn't work. I was still tired. The stuff overly price. And I knew more than the coaches. I'm younger.

If you want to lose weight, Eat 6 to 7 small meals a day and make your own smoothies with real protein from greek yogurt and real fruit. And work out at least 30 minutes a day. Your brain needs carbs and all the benefits from real food. These so call smoothies are a scam! Do not buy it or think you'll keep your weight off because it's straight soy and soy isn’t good for you if that's all you're eating.

I started using Herbalife a couple of months ago because an old co-worker of mine is a distributor. I always see her on my news feed posting "Transformation Tuesday" pics and "shout-outs" about Herbalife and decided to give it a try. She gave me the most basic package (Tea, 2 pill bottles and the shake) and was priced for $150.00. I decided to sign up my BF too so I just went to eBay to get his and instantly found out that my basic package was only $75.00. Instantly I felt like I got ripped-off by someone who swore would be my fitness and health coach. Also, after she delivered the product, she was never there again. She would ask eventually "How's it going?" But when I tell her the truth about the effects of Herbalife on me, she would never answer back. Also, when I ask her about what exercise I should be doing, she would not answer as well.

3-4 months ago, I took the pills the first day and instantly felt dizzy, and a throbbing headache. The second day I took the pills, I threw up this acidic, weed-ish content and felt like hell. I stopped using it then. I told myself, maybe it's just not for me or my body. Or maybe something I ate that caused such reaction. Fast forward to present, I decided to give it another try. I took the pills on the first day and almost didn't feel any side effects. I took the pills again today for the second time, and there it was. It almost felt like there is a countdown from the moment I took it to the time when I will see them again in a different form. I threw up after 2 minutes of taking them, and feeling a throbbing pain in my head and on my left eye. This time I swore that I will never touch it EVER again.

I am by no means fat. I just thought that this product would help me curb my appetite like my distributor promised. But just like her pricing, she and this product is nothing but broken promise who is "brainwashed" by their marketing strategy. I felt violated for falling for it, but I wouldn't do this again to jeopardize my health and body.

I know all about Herbalife. My wife sold the stuff for a good while. So glad that's over! This is a multi-level marketing scam! "Pyramid company". Top guy makes money of his/her "down-line" (3). So if I can make money off the three people below on my down-line and the Herbalife company is also making money then are you getting what you are paying for? If the products are so good why isn't it in stores. Oh, wow they have a soccer team, well how much does that cost? who is paying for that? The customers, that's who! Trust me, I've been to their "training" sessions in north Carolina, there is no training, just rah, rah, sell, sell, sell, manipulate your down-line. Down-line are the people you have under you selling for you. Example of the quality of their products: "Niteworks", I wanted this for working out to add nitric oxide, IT HAS NONE!

They make you buy products to have on hand to get to better marketing levels. While that's great and all except we have a house full of expired crap that nobody bought. The shakes taste like chalk (fyi) unless you add stuff, but doesn't that defeat the purpose and add calories? Do yourself a favor, do the research before you sign on! Ask yourself this question, am I getting what I am paying for? Are the family and friends I will be selling to getting what they are paying for? Why does my up line push me so hard to sell and come to trainings (motivation) meetings? Is Herbalife being sued for anything? What is really in the products. There is no magic pill for weight loss, eat lean meat and vegetables and get some exercise. It has to be a lifestyle change or your wasting your time. Period.

I cannot say the same for the business program that Herbalife offers. I was told that if I would sign up for the business program, I would be able to buy the product at a discount. That was true, but before long, I was being pressured to invest large sums of money and to create a down line of distributors. I was given false information as to how the program worked, and the end result was that I had a large number of boxes of the product but nobody to buy them. I entered an Herbalife store with my girlfriend and I was very skeptical. I received the complimentary aloe, tea and protein shake. I was fine with the aloe and tea (however the aloe doesn't have any kind of significant scientific research to distinctly say, "this is healthy"). The protein shake was where my issue arises. I am both gluten and dairy intolerant. I was assured by the sales person that the shake was "certified gluten free" and "contained no dairy". I went home and started researching herbalife only to find out that their protein comes from genetically modified soy and contains artificial colors and sweeteners. The most notable sweetener is sucralose.

Most of us know it more commonly as Splenda. What kind of "health" company uses Splenda in an "all natural" product. Last time I checked Splenda was made in a factory by removing oxygen and replacing it with chlorine. On the protein powder ingredients it clearly states, in bold, "this product contains milk". How can the sales person outright lie? There is clearly dairy in the protein shake. After my first bowl movement from the dairy, I most graciously acquired a classic gluten intolerance reaction - diarrhea, gas and cramps, that have continued for about 24 hours now. I will never even look at Herbalife. How can they call themselves a health company when they sell genetically modified food that has artificial additives in it?

A "friend" started selling Herbalife and keeps posting how great it is and how much better they felt. I tried a product suggested by the coach, LiftOff. I got diarrhea and wasted my money on it. The coach sent samples of the tea and a shake. The tea puts me to sleep, not energizing me as I was told it would. Then they keep bugging me for my phone number so they can coach me... I do not give out my phone number. Now they are trying to push me to buy more products. I am going with natural products.... not this, to try and lose weight and get more energy. Not willing to spend hundreds on Herbalife.

Well I have been on Herbalife for a month and a half. I lost 8 pounds but according to my coach 6 of it was my muscle mass. Why? My activities and exercise was no different. 1 day I forgot my shake cups in my car. It was there for 2 days and grew a ton of little white worms. So now I'm wondering what it's doing inside my body. Is this really healthy for me? Also it is too expensive.

Ask to read and google the ingredients. The products are so processed! The nutrition claimed inside is dead or lab created. These powders will make you weak and sick. Many people have reported illness from lack of nutrition. It is too processed to have any nutrition value left. Eat food that grows. Unprocessed, the way God intended. This will be the best nutrition!

My supplier took me to what was supposed to be a meeting to help me understand the product better to help. It was a unpleasant horrible experience with the worst kind of 70's style pyramid sell on crass money, cars, houses and skiing millionaire lifestyle I've ever heard. It was all about signing up, flogging the product and belittling you if you were up to doing it. Just horrible. What a bunch of unprofessional charlatans. I decided to try Herbalife because I had been hearing a lot about it from friends on Facebook. So I met with a friend who sold it and bought a month's supply. First off, when purchasing I was never told there was a 30-day money back guarantee. I simply found out from another friend, who also returned the product. When I wasn't seeing any results (about 3 weeks in), I decided to give the products back and get a refund.

There were no instructions online on how to do the refund and when I emailed the company twice to get information, I never got an email back. I then called them, was placed on hold for 20 mins after going through the automated message system. I hung up, called back, and asked to speak to management because I did not want to have to wait around on the phone all day. Then while on the phone with the "senior agent" for another half hour, she tells me she can't help me that she has to transfer me to another department. My first thought was, "Why are you a senior agent if you can't actually do anything more than the other non-senior agents?" But she tried placing me on hold but instead hung up on me. I had to call for a third time after being on the phone for over an hour now and all she could do was send a request to a different department. Needless to say, I got two phones and an email almost a week later, outside the date of the 30-day money back guarantee (If that's where it ended I would have be pissed!).

However, I had contacted my distributor. She told me to return the products to her. She would give me the refund, and she would deal directly with the company so I did not have to. I did still have to fill out two pages of information to get the refund which I find cumbersome and idiotic. First, the product is no good. Second, their so-called "customer service" was horrible. They put up some many obstacles up to steer customers away from asking or receiving their refunds. Third, they make an already dissatisfied customer fill out more paperwork and give no instructions on how to return their products. Overall, this company, its practices, and its products are all horrible. I was extremely upset after speaking with them and will never, ever recommend them to anyone I know.

First, I was told by someone in the office, an overweight ** girl, who started Herbalife two weeks ago, that she was super excited and had great things to say about the product. She had lost ten pounds since she started. And she really did look great. I'm a 52-year old white male who lives a sedentary lifestyle. I never had a weight problem, until this past year. I gained 32 lbs. My clothes stopped fitting and I decided it was time to take what I put in my body seriously. I live in Miami Beach and the food is mostly Cuban, which is extremely fattening.

So I joined Herbalife. $159 for 1/2 month, 15 days, which I find incredibly expensive for what they call meal replacements. Those are shakes in different flavors. I chose chocolate and vanilla - which tasted great, but one is pure protein, the other is another powder loaded with nutrients that you mix the protein with in 8 oz of water. Immediately after having the shake, I began to have stomach cramps and bloating. I was told by the rep that this would not happen with the shake. So, am already skeptical about this stuff. But since I'm so desperate to lose the weight, I will do anything. And, in this state of mind, I can be duped into believing anything from anyone.

Am just putting this question out there into the universe and see if I get an honest response. Did I just throw my money out the window? Does this stuff REALLY work? Or is it snake oil? If it is just a sham, has anyone been on a diet plan - which obviously includes exercise - that actually works? If so, I'd really like to know more about it.

I'll give this 7 days before I check-in again and see what this product does then. If it's more bloating and cramping, am definitely going to drop it. There were a lot more rules about not eating a number of foods and fruits, like bananas and grapes, which are fruits I normally eat for breakfast. I would appreciate any feedback to my comments. Jen's feedback below really concerned me. I cannot afford to be taken for a ride.

I was hopeful this product would help with losing some unwanted weight and did (what I thought was) a fair amount of research as I'm typically pretty skeptical of marketing/pyramid programs. Against my better judgment I went full throttle and was actually excited when I got the product. My first week was challenging ... The program is easy to follow but I did not like taking all of the "supplements" and felt really swollen and had weird stomach cramps on my first week. I was assigned a "coach" and she explained cramping and weight GAIN the first week is common as my body was adjusting to something new. Mind you... I work out 5 days and am a pretty clean eater all together so know that weight gain, swelling and cramping was NOT NORMAL. She insisted I was probably working out too much (1 hour a day is hardly TOO much), so strongly encouraged me to get MORE product which consisted of their 24 line. I declined but did follow through with her recommendation of keeping a food diary and upping my water intake. I did exactly that and saw no change in the swelling, cramping or this overall feeling of "uneasiness".

Come to find out the product is NOT regulated and is FULL of artificial sweeteners. I feel sorry for those who get roped into spending so much money on something that in the long run causes more harm than good. I'm also surprised that so many coaches (chiropractors especially) are encouraging people to "sign up" as they know better. All in all Herbalife is designed to make money not actually teach people about nutrition and helping then get HEALTHY. I am responsible for having purchased the product before doing more research ... I am also responsible for encouraging those to do the same.

On 2006, I was almost jobless and looking for new opportunities. I saw an ad on the newspaper calling for Management developers and I sent them a mail. Soon after I was contacted for a meeting by a lady who became "a friend". It ended up, after a lot of brainwash and several meetings, that I was "recruited" by Herbalife. I only had to buy 5000 stock to be on the path of becoming a millionaire. I did so, although somewhat upset for letting myself into what I sensed as a fraud.

There was this "friend" urging me to do so and I did not want to let her down. The stock I bought was most of it useless and almost of it out of date. I wasted a huge amount of time on marketing, going to meetings, etc, but could barely sell half of the stock. The plan was totally insane. The meetings were held in large rooms where everybody looked fat and puzzled.

Everyone that talked about the millions they made probably lied all the way through. The pressure for attending meetings and bringing new adepts was on the verge of insanity and mostly offensive. I took the shakes as a part of an "healthy diet" to maintaining my figure, but a year later, I had a total health breakdown, a winter cold turned into a very serious thing and I struggled to survive. Up to then, I had been a mostly healthy person. I realized this was all because of that "healthy diet" and soon I dropped all together: taking that stuff, recruiting, marketing, herbalife. It was like waking up from a nightmare!

In fact, I participate in the weekly classes of my local Herbalife nutrition club and they don't pressure you to buy the products. Half the class learns and adjusts their own diets appropriately. I am very displeased with Herbalife and would caution anyone considering it to do their research thoroughly and to get to know the people recruiting them well before signing up. I was roped into Herbalife through a Craigslist ad. I was looking to get into the fitness field and found an ad that said they were hiring wellness coaches/ fitness trainers for a location very close to my home. It said training was provided and it asked to send a resume and cover letter. No company name was listed but there was an address. I looked it up and it was a nutrition club. It had no website but figuring that it was a physical establishment I was able to track down online I gave it a shot. I sent in my resume and cover letter and within a few hours got a call to "schedule an interview" the next day.

I should have walked right out that door as soon as I walked in. Too bad I gave them the benefit of the doubt. The place was a nutrition club. They sold the smoothies and tea. Right away I noticed the Herbalife supplement and knew I was about to get the Herbalife pitch. The main speaker of course didn't fail to mention how she makes a six figure salary and goes skiing every month because of Herbalife. Afterwards she quickly set me aside to talk to me about it and persuaded me to sign up. This was NO interview. They asked for my resume and in the end did not even look at it!

Giving them the benefit of the doubt again, I regrettably signed up because I thought I would get to learn a few good things about nutrition and fitness and was hopeful that the products worked to help me get in shape. Shortly after signing up my sponsor really pushed me to go to this training they apparently have every month. I had at first agreed to go but later feeling unsure about it said I didn't want to go. She didn't take no for an answer and put me through a guilt trip about how she had specifically bought a $40 ticket for me to go. She told me it was VERY important that I go. I asked her what the training was about and if I would get to learn about nutrition and fitness. She said yes, I would learn about all of that.

Big LIE! The training is just one big parade. The training I went to consisted of more obnoxious marketing about how great the products are, how rich people have gotten off of them, why you should get more people to join in, why you should buy tickets to more trainings and why you should go to their Extravaganza thing in Las Vegas. I learned NOTHING useful. Later I realized that my sponsor had several tickets she had bought for the training rather than having bought one specifically for me so I felt tricked yet again.

I did try a few of their products. The protein bars that only come in one flavor and the Prepare supplement from the 24 line among a few other things like the teas, energy drinks, and the Aloe Vera drink. Nothing stood out and they are all very overpriced. Shortly after going to the training I asked my sponsor what the return policy was for the products. Her answer was "Why?" I explained I wanted to know in case I didn't like the products and that I didn't find any information online. I got NO response. I got the sense that she did not want to tell me how to return anything.

After that I decided I wanted nothing to do with Herbalife so I looked online, found the information I needed and returned all the unopened products and the IBO packet. (You have to fill out the Repurchase forms which you can find online, email or mail the forms, and ship the items to a specific warehouse.) Thank goodness everything went smoothly and they did refund me what I was owed. Overall I was left with a bad experience of Herbalife and would not recommend them to anyone. The best advice I can give to people is to LISTEN TO YOURSELF and PAY ATTENTION to the business practices of these people. They can be very shady. Omitting information from you is a big red flag.

I should have known something was up when 1) the Craigslist ad had no company name, 2) the Herbalife products were on display when I walked in the door of the club, 3) there were no Yelp reviews or a business website for the nutrition club, 4) they did not conduct a formal interview or ask to see my resume despite having asked me to bring it, 5) the training was nothing but another marketing tool, 6) my sponsor would not tell me of the return policy.

And another thing that made me angry about their shady business practices is that they tried to recruit me again after having already recruited me! To explain: I got several phone calls (to the same phone number my sponsor had for me) from my fool sponsor saying that they got my response to their Craigslist ad and wanted to schedule an interview with me. I also got an email (to the same email this fool had emailed me before) saying the same thing; about how they were ramping up their "hiring." How are they so dumb that they did not realize they were trying to recruit someone who had already been through their system, I don't know. But that was really stupid and after that I knew it was all **. I never answered their phone calls again and broke off all contact. I resigned from Herbalife without telling them.

Herbalife is a pyramid scheme. The people that get rich are the really outgoing ones who have no problem luring more people into it. They use your desire for the American Dream to take advantage of you. The products are very overpriced. If you want to get fit, you can do it through many other means. You don't need these products. Be smart and cautious.

So the next interview comes around and they are telling me about Herbalife and how they want me to sell it for them. I told them, "No, thank you." And asked about the group class opening for the teaching kickboxing interview and the lady told me that they are not looking to do any group class. The class I taught the day before was her and a few of her staff.

It all depend on who gives you the explanation on the products, some people are only there for the money and don't care, but I had luck and found someone who understood and cared.

Anyway, just FYI the shake alone will not be enough, you need the Protein Drink Mix along with the Formula 1. She wanted me to review the info in the packet beforehand in which I had by the time of my interview. Upon going through the glossy folder & CD filled with hype, I still had no idea about the job. Upon our interview on the phone the following Saturday, I discovered that this was an MLM business with Herbalife, not a job. I am experienced with MLMs and Herbalife. In the weeks that followed, I contacted her several times about the return as I had not received a confirmation from my bank for the reimbursement. She told me that if it was not returned promptly, they would charge me an additional $39.95 for the packet. Subsequent monitoring of my statement, I found an additional charge of $39.95. I sent ** a copy of the return receipt received from UPS for them to confirm my mailing at least twice. Finally, 2 months later, when I told her that I would file a complaint with the Attorney General offices for AZ & CA, she sent me a refund for the $39.95, which I am happy to have received; however, I was still bilked for the initial $9.95 without recourse and the return shipping fees $3.21, in which I would not have incurred if I had known that this was a business opportunity instead of a job. Not until they had their hands in my pocket was that info offered and by then there was no way out.

It is my suspicion that it is their practice to bill people for the $39.95 featuring most people will not pursue recourse. I am an experienced MLMer. It is practices like this that gives MLMs a bad name. I will press forward in my process to stop eHomeDistribution from bilking unsuspecting people from the predators that they are.

Caroline ** contacted me and emailed me about this fantastic opportunity to work from home so I could be with my child and earn money. She arranged a time to talk and was all professional about everything and then I paid $9.99, then $39.00 and then $325.00. I stopped because it was getting more expensive. I was being drowned in testimonies about how fantastic this company is and how much money I would make if I just paid more money. Then Caroline had the nerve to tell me that if I don't do anything to change my life nothing will happen.

Seriously, I don't at all have $325.00 to spend. I didn't really have the first lot. Why is this happening? Why are mothers and the unemployed being tricked into this? Why hasn't it been stopped yet? How can they advertise this on TV? I'm so upset and I know that I am a real human with real feelings and you can't mess with me life with this and get away with it. You can't do this to our mothers who are trying to help their families by earning some money while working online.

But I felt they should return all my money. This program does not work.

I joined Herbalife as a distributor in January 2010 and started using several products daily for several months. Initially I felt more energetic and was excited about using and selling their products. I had a physical the first week of May and I was healthy.

Around the end of May I started feeling sluggish and was having a hard time getting up in the morning and feeling tired all day. I was getting very stressed out at work and figured this was causing my stomach cramps and fatigue. I had been working there for about four years getting up at 4:20 am to make it to work by 6:00 am. I was having a hard time even getting up by 6:00 am, even then I was so week and tired that I resigned my job effective June 4, 2010. I was planning on visiting my father in Washington state that was dying of cancer and spend some time with my son over summer for a month or so before going back to work.

I started taking the Herbalife 21 day herbal cleanse the first week in June. On June 19, 2010 I got out of the shower and laid in bed fatigued. I woke up with severe cramps and fever of 104.8 but refused to let my wife take me to the hospital until Wednesday 6/23/2010. My wife took me to urgent care facility, and they referred my to the emergency room at the hospital with suspected appendicitis, and scheduled emergency surgery. When I awoke from surgery the surgeon said my colon was clogged and ruptured and he removed 90% of my colon and my appendix, attached colostomy bag that I would have for 3 months until my insides healed enough to try and reconnect the remaining 6 inch ends of my colon.

When I got home from hospital, I tried Herbalife shakes a few times but it would bind me up and take up to two days enter my colostomy bag. I lost all my customers as they were afraid to use the products after what happened to me, so I tried to sell the thousands of dollars of products I have on eBay. Herbalife contacted me via email and said that violated company policy, so I emailed back and explained my experience with their products, and I DID not feel they were safe.

After about the fourth request for response from my email, I received email reply and phone calls from product safety requesting which products I had taken and lot numbers off bottles. They sent me forms to return all unused product for partial refund. I mailed all forms to Herbalife for approval to return products and received call yesterday, 10/11/10 about when I was going to ship products back. I told them I had not received return material authorization number yet.

I received email last night stating I have 10 days to return product. I just had my colon reconnected on 9/24/2010 and cannot even lift the boxes to ship back at this time as my staples were just removed last Tuesday. I find it very disconcerting that my colon ruptured as I had a colonoscopy October 2008 and my colon was fine. As I told Herbalife in the email I sent them, I don't feel their labels reflect that everybody's metabolism is different and products may not be safe for all individuals.

I now have only 10% of my colon left which will impact the rest of my life. I am living off of my 401k and can't even look for work until I complete the healing process and regain some strength. Even then, I use the bathroom much more frequently which may impact my job as an engineer working at different properties and traveling to job sites.

I was contacted by Brian at Herbalife and he came a pitch on how to work from home. The income I would make, he sent me 2-month supply of Herbalife at the cost of $400.00. This included a bag and some DVDs. Well, his coach got into our conversation and the talk changed from me working with them to how much credit do I have and if I couldn't come up with $2,000.00. They really couldn't help me get a supervisor position, which by the way you buy. So when I couldn't afford that amount, I suggested starting as a distributor so I can at least make some type of income. He dropped me and never contacted me or returned my calls. He ripped me off of 400.00 dollars.

Heard this ad on talk radio for at home business. Called and they told us to pay a one-time payment of $9.99 and we did. When we did they opened up the bag by telling us it was Herbal Life MLM. We felt deceived by their practices. It doesn't end here. The lady out of the blue charges our debit card for $39.95 a month later. Buyer, beware of Work Part Time at Home and magworkathome.com. This is a scam.

On Jan. 12 I signed up with LineLogix and paid $39.95 for an online business training packet. Even before I got my packet in the mail, I was called by a Heidi ** (who also goes by Heidi **) who claimed to be my coach. I told her I preferred to talk to her only after I had read the material.

When I received the material by FedEx on Jan. 15, I followed the instructions on the kit and emailed Heidi and we arranged a call appointment for Jan. 18 at 7 pm. A few minutes before the appointment, I got a call from Heidi asking to reschedule, which we then reset for the next night. But when I missed the next night's call and tried to reach Heidi by email to rearrange a new appointment, I could only leave messages on the numbers she had given me, which either went directly to voice mail or was answered by some really sour woman who sounded very offended that I'd called that number.

When I finally sent Heidi a message that I wanted to be assigned a different coach as it was obvious she and I were not working out, all I got back from her was a very aggrieved text message on my mobile phone. When I wrote her an email, she said my account would not be cancelled, transferred or refunded unless I returned the packet she mailed me. She also said she could not help me find a replacement coach.

I mailed the package back on Jan. 28 according to the instructions I was given and thought that was the last of it. On Feb. 11 my visa card was charged again another $39.95 by Heidi **/retail merchant. I have since called Heidi several times to complain about the charge but as of today, Feb. 16, I have not heard back from her.

I now have had to call my bank to put a stop payment on any future transaction charges from Heidi. Unfortunately, the bank can only stop payment on the retailer posted. Should Heidi change her name, she can still use my card, which she has already done for this second charge. Now I am the one inconvenienced further by having to file a fraud claim and cancel my Visa card and get another that this Heidi **/ Heidi ** scoundrel has no access to. Line Logix and Herbalife should do something about this person as she is obviously ruining their good name.

BestBuy Diet dba Buyers Best Bet LLC is an internet marketer of one of Herbalife's products known as "Total Control". I felt confident buying into the system ordering this product online because of Herbalife's known reputation. However, after receiving this product I decided to cancel the order before others would arrive. I never accomplished getting in contact with these people! They took every available means to block my attempts to make contact with them! How convenient of them, sic !! So within two weeks, I became aware that a debit was deducted from my bank of 43.95. Again, made numerous attempts to try and get my $43.95 credited. I never received any other products from them. Consequently all my attempts of trying to reach these people failed. I then decided to write a letter to which a response was made leaving me a message on my phone saying they were refusing to credit me because I was well aware of their system and if I had any more concerns to contact cs@bestbudydiet.com which I learned early on this was without a doubt bogus!! In fact, their customer support website is bogus and their customer service telephone # is bogus! This truly does not sound like a legitimate business when they block every means of communication from you. They get your money fraudulently and then they block their phones and website. How convenient of them wouldnt you say? So how am I as a customer have the opportunity to cancel when they prevent you from doing so? I am certain there are others out there that have been scammed as well. This company needs to be stopped. It is an absolute rip!

I ran into Herbalife when I was in my 20's (over 30 years ago). So I decided to check into it and sell it. I received my starter kit for $101. I accidentally hit onto your website and started educating myself on the problems of Herbalife. I do believe your testimonials. Their CDs show people claiming how successful they are and they have acne, blood shot eyes, and a lot of make up. Their website is very hard to navigate. So I shared this info with them and got no response. I was very alarmed with the lead amounts in their products since I have four grown daughters. I think I'm lucky to get out now.

I began investigating Herbalife products after receiving reports of liver injuries. As it turns out, Herbalife's products are loaded with ingredients known to cause liver damage including lead. Herbalife admits that it does not test its products for safety and given the reports that have been published, the proof, as they say is in the pudding. If you google Herbal-lead.com you can read all about it. Lawsuits have been filed against Herbalife and the companies that actually make the products for Herbalife since they do not make any of the products themselves.

I signed up with Herbalife and was provided TouchFon service to act as an answering service for my business. I realized several days later that I had made a big mistake getting involved with Herbalife. Unlike many other stories I've read, I actually got my money back within a few days. Except...I was getting billed for TouchFon. I called and cancelled but it showed up on my credit report as a $35 debt. I called to have it removed and after several calls and conversations, the debt was cleared and I was sent a payoff letter via fax. Fast forward 5 years. I'm now seeing TouchFon on my credit report showing a $37 unpaid debt. They of course show no record that I ever paid and conveniently have no record that they wiped it several years ago. Unfortunately, I gave the payoff letter to the lending agent when I bought my house and didn't keep a copy. To just get this behind me, I called the collections company that represents TouchFon and they said I now owe 53 dollars and some change>>>INTEREST! I refused to pay the interest and when they finally told me they would waive it, I was so fed up I told them I wouldn't pay anything. I am waiting for a call from Marva at TouchFon and will keep calling them every hour, every day until they clear this charge.

In early September, my husband and I received our training package in the mail and decided to give this a try. Lorri seemed to have such a great story but lacked knowledge in many areas regarding the company. We decided to cancel and get our $200 back. This took almost a month and many phone calls to Lorri before she finally took action. We were no longer a priority. After sending back the DVD training package we thought all was over. On December 24th we received a random charge in Lorri **'s name on our credit card. I tried to call her everyday and left messages. I finally caught her and she said that corporate charged us for an unreturned package.

Initially we were told that they would charge us 14 days after not receiving the package..... not almost 4 months later!!! She said that she was just being nice and I told her that a phone call would have been nice at the end of the 14 days to let me know that they had not received it. She continued to argue with me and give excuses but what scares me is that now I have no way to track the package down and her company has been storing my credit card information. Needless to say, I've disputed the charge and cancelled my credit card!! BEWARE!!!!!!
