With Amazon’s Prime Day scheduled for July, Walmart has announced its own summer sales event, Walmart+ Week, which will be held June 17-23.
In addition to big discounts all week long, the retailer has announced that Walmart+ members can expect even more perks during the sale.
“This year, we’re taking our appreciation for our members to the next level with an unprecedented celebration you won’t want to miss,” said Vanessa Yates, general manager and senior vice president of Walmart+.
“We’re pulling out all the stops this year to transform Walmart+ Week into a unique experience. We’re thrilled to bring back this event as a way to show our gratitude and reinforce our commitment to saving our members time and money.”
What to expect
In addition to discounts on Walmart favorites, Walmart+ members can also expect a number of perks during the week of savings:
Double the discount on fuel at Exxon & Mobil stations nationwide – which is $0.20 off every gallon.
20% back in Walmart Cash on flights, hotels, rental cars, and activities booked through Walmart+ Travel.
One complimentary Express Delivery, which comes within two hours, and typically has a $10 delivery fee.
Three months free of Walmart+ InHome, which allows items to be dropped off inside your house.

Additionally, Walmart said there will be a special mystery offer that will be announced on June 20.
“While I can’t divulge the details just yet, I promise it will be worth watching out for,” Yates said.
Much in the same way that Amazon’s Prime Day is strictly for Prime members, Walmart’s Walmart+ is only available for Walmart+ members. Consumers can sign up for a membership for $98 per year, or $49 per year for those receiving government assistance.
Last year, Walmart+ Week ran for just four days, and it coincided with Amazon’s Prime Day. This year, the retailer has extended the sale window, and also planned for it the month before Prime Day.
