Hyundai recalls 28,000 Genesis G80s, G90s and G70s

Hyundai Motor America is recalling 28,439 model year 2018-2020 Genesis G80s, model year 2017-2022 G90s and model year 2019-2022 G70s with a 3.3-liter V6 turbocharged engine.

The left turbocharger oil feed pipe may deteriorate and leak oil.

An oil leak in the presence of hot engine components can increase the risk of an engine compartment fire.

What to do

Dealers will replace the left turbocharger oil feed pipe free of charge.

Vehicles previously repaired under a recall issued in July 2019 will need to have the new remedy completed

Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 7, 2024. Owners may contact Hyundai customer service at (855) 371-9460. Hyundai's number for this recall is 019G.
