The third-row seat belts may be inaccessible

Chrysler is recalling 97,066 model year 2022-2024 Jeep Wagoneers and Grand Wagoneers.

The third-row seat belts may not allow occupants to properly access or fasten the seat belt to the buckle.

An unfastened seat belt may increase the risk of injury to occupants during a crash.

What to do

Dealers will inspect and replace the third-row seat belt buckle -- as necessary -- free of charge.

Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed December 15, 2023.

Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at (800) 853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is A7A.
