Very unprofessional so far and we haven't even moved yet. Already drafting my letter to the attorney general! When I spoke with rep, she said my card would not be charged, they only needed the cc to make the reservation. That was a lie! So she sends the "pre-move letter," and clearly states that she advised me of the "hold." So I was looking at possibly rescheduling due to an emergency situation, in which we have no control over and she proceeds to tell me there is a 2 hour minimum charge for that! I am livid! Why in the heck would I pay twice? Nowhere in this "contract" does it stipulate a 2 hour minimum charge to reschedule or cancel! They "request" a 48 hour notice... implies to me that you know emergencies do happen. You MAY be assessed a penalty if the movers show up and you cancel! It doesn't take a law degree... don't let them get you! Bad business, first and the last time I deal with them.

This company destroyed my couches, destroyed my walls, and dented my TV. I Filed a claim and they never paid me. Make sure you get extra insurance on the entire move and your valuable possessions. They are supposed to pad and wrap everything according to their contract but they will not. If they did, nothing of mine would have been damaged. Read the contract in its entirety or you'll be left in their dusty trail like I was. Even after violating their own contract they will still not honor it so there may not even be a point to read it. Go with these guys and you'll end up in small claims court like me. There were so many other things wrong with this company like the fact that the workers were taking breaks on the job while I was paying about $100/hr, and the fact that the owner avoided my calls for about 3 weeks.
I am an actual customer and I am a very fair and reasonable person. I gave this company way too many chances to right their wrongs and make amends with me before leading to my filing in the City of Dearborn small claims court. I just wanted people to simply know that they are the wrong company for your move especially if you care about your things.

"Two Men and a Truck" is the Worst company EVER!! They damaged our furniture and refused to pay for the permanent damage they did when they ATTEMPTED to move our furniture. They have franchised what might have started as a good company. But now, the main office does NOT stand by their franchises. They sell franchises to people who hire incompetent movers - liars who have no regard for their customers or customer service.
I will continue to let the world know how horrible this company is. I have used many other reliable companies - this is definitely NOT one anyone should consider for even a small move. Terrible!! Heartbreaking how they handle your furniture and then don't take responsibility for it. They did cover $500 damage to my very expensive $15,000 bedroom furniture and a Tempur-pedic bed they said they knew how to assemble. I asked them to pay me the $500 and they said they would, then decided they didn't want to.

What a terrible experience. Showing up on time was the only thing they did right. No experience led to significant damage to at least 6 pieces of furniture. Worst of all was that they didn't just damage 1 end of our piano while loading, but repeated the damage while unloading on the other end. When we contacted them they sent out a repair person who could not fix the damage properly. So they sent a "settlement" check, they won't even fix 1 side. Go with someone who has a professional team and who will handle your furniture properly. Two Men may be great at a 750 sq ft apartment, but not a nice home with expensive furniture.

His men dragged my mattress and mattress topper on the ground, and broke my table. When I called the manager to complain, he told me it wasn't his problem. The manager was very unprofessional. Customer service is shoddy, and the men have no respect for other people's property. I would recommend choosing a different company.

Well I called for a free quote 9/16/15 and they could not state anything about what are the fees and how they get their rates. All they stated was you are renting the whole truck. Well their prices are more than half of anyone I have ever called. They said they based it on mileage and to move 7 hours outside of my current city it would cost $5200 including a $250 deductible for insurance so basically $5500 is totally ridiculous. Then I trusted my instinct and found this site. I am so grateful to the comments on this site. You guys are a lifesaver and I will never use this company.

I would not recommend that anyone ever use Two Men and a Truck for their move. I recently used them to move me from my house to a storage area, because the new home was not ready for move in. They practically threw my stuff in the storage area. They did such a poor job of packing everything, that I called another moving outfit to move my stuff out. When the 2nd mover opened the door of the storage unit, everything just fell out at him. He said "Who moved this stuff in here?" and then he answered for me, "Two Men and a Truck." I guess they don't have a very good name. Anyway, It took me several weeks in my new home to open all of my boxes and bins, and every day I opened a box or two with dishes, canister sets, antique china cups and saucers, etc broken. I marked all my boxes with FRAGILE and still so many things broken. All of my furniture had large deep scratches on them.
Today I opened the last of my boxes and yet another beautiful collectible china bowl was broken. Also, I waited until all the boxes were opened, because I didn't want to complain prematurely about my jewelry missing. Today when I opened the very last box, I never found my jewelry. Every single piece of jewelry that I owned and acquired over the past 40 or 50 years is gone. I don't have a single necklace except for the gold chain and pendant I had on the day of the move. There must have been a box that never got put into the storage area, but when I called their office a few weeks ago to report a part of a maple table that was missing, I was told that she would call me on Monday to let me know if they had found anything. Never got a call back. I am sure that I will never see any of my missing jewelry again, but I am going to notify BBB about their poor service and I hope that people will read these reviews BEFORE hiring these people.

I would NOT recommend that anyone use this franchise of Two Men And a Truck. I have had previous experiences with this company with no complaints, but DO NOT USE THE TROY FRANCHISE!!! I moved in early July using 2 Men & a Truck Troy franchise (1250 Rankin Dr, Troy, MI 48083). On the move day the 3 movers showed up a little late to assess the items to be moved. About hour later the local manager showed up and looked at all our items and indicated that the team should be able to move all the items in 2 loads, at worse 3. While the guys were loading the first haul, we made a comment that more could fit on the truck, but were told to mind our own business, they have been doing this for years, let them do their job.
We should have realized that after the 2nd load (this load also could have been optimized, but we said nothing), that this was going to be a long day. It was already a drizzly humid day, so the weather as well as the guys not working well with us should have been an indication, but I was still holding out that we would move everything in the 3rd load. When we got back for the 3rd load, the guys haphazardly loaded the truck and (while the truck was so poorly packed, they could have easily fit everything in that load), they indicated that they could not fit any more and that this was their last load, they had another job to get to. This was along with the comment that everything would not fit in the new house or garage, so they were not going to move it.
I had an emotional breakdown at this point. And my partner called the main office. After some (not very pleasant) discussion with the main office, the team agreed that they would return for a 4th load to pick up the remaining items. Keep in mind, it was approaching rush hour, and were paying these guys by the hour, so another load over rush hour would easily add 2 hours onto the move charge (which it did). So be it, I said, I need everything moved out of the rental house and into our new purchased house today, no ifs, ands, or buts. However, in the process of being told to do this, they decided that they would stack the items in the garage so haphazardly, that I could not unload and organize the items by myself and needed help. They also thought it was a cool idea to put our living room couch on the bottom of the stack IN THE GARAGE!
After complaining about this, the manager agreed to send over a couple of guys the following weekend to help me unload the garage, put the couch in the house, and reload the garage so everything could fit which it did. But it was already too late (as I was told) to file a complaint that the couch back (material) was ripped and that 3 items of furniture were scratched pretty bad, since the time limit to file this type of damage complaint is 7 days from the move date, and this was after 7 days. So they did nothing. I would not recommend that anyone use this franchise of 2 Men & a Truck. I have had previous experiences with this company with no complaints, but DO NOT USE THE TROY FRANCHISE!!!

Very Disappointed! 3rd time I used them to move & this last time they sent 3 men to go faster. They were very inexperienced. 3 young college students who did not know how to take a bed apart and reassemble, broke my coffee table, could not reassemble the TV Stand properly, and a glass standing cabinet was not assembled properly. And they charged me overtime! I'm still waiting for them to get back to me to rectify. They took $1500.00 from me very fast!!!

Their contract said that I should not have them move "coin collections" and I should have paid better attention. I did not consider a small plastic Ziplock bag with miscellaneous silver coins (several silver half dollars, several silver quarters, several silver dimes including some Liberty ones), a good number of wheat pennies, and other coins of interest to me (Buffalo nickels, Kennedy half dollars, a few of the "new" State Quarters, etc.) placed in a small flower pot to be a "coin collection." Never even checked it until a year later when I was going to add some wheat pennies to the bag.
When I checked, what I found was left in the bag was two silver quarters and one silver dime, five wheat pennies in the bag along with about $4.50 in current pennies and $0.95 in nickels. Entirely my fault, but a shame on them anyway. It was an easy move, I packed all of the boxes and had them centrally located out of the way of the furniture. At the new place, all of the boxes were put in one location for me to unpack. It was a one-bedroom apartment moving into another one-bedroom apartment, both downstairs. The locations were approximately 3 miles apart. Tipped the guys at the end because I "thought" the move went smoothly. Shame on me.

My parents were quoted seven hundred dollars for moving from one building into another in the same complex. My Stepdad is a 25 years Navy vet and my mother is disabled because of multiple surgeries on her spine and neck. They live on a fixed income. They saved enough to pay for the amount quoted. The movers arrived, loaded everything on the truck, then handed my parents a bill for $1100.00. They threatened to keep their stuff unless they paid the bill. I know this because I had to pay the balance.

This moving company was very unprofessional in their dealings with our move. They took 18 hours to move the contents of the house and expected to get paid for their incompetence. They sent 3 boys, not men! The owner was very rude and should consider how he treats his customers!

The organizer of the move was a sarcastic, argumentative know-it-all. The movers themselves were discouraged, demotivated, careless, slow and looking for a handout. I had to organize the arrangement of my personal items in the storage unit and supervise progress - throwing furniture around, crushing boxes, destroying exterior packing I had finished myself. The movers were somewhat polite, but the leader became surly and pouted because I was giving them directions on where to put things since I didn't trust their efforts. It was a really unpleasant experience working with this company. And expensive.

We used Two Men And a Truck moving company in Iowa. The estimated they provided was way off. The movers moved only half of our stuff as they had no more space in a truck. I had to wait for almost two weeks to get the rest of the stuff. They damaged my table and kept bargaining about it. A lot of hassle and frustration. We definitely were very dissatisfied with the management as they didn't work any deals to help us or make it a pleasant experience for us. If we ever move again I definitely won't use them. On the other hand the guys who packed and unpacked our stuff were nice and professional. That's why I'm giving two stars instead of one.

Please DO NOT USE Two Men and a Truck from 1204 W Lehigh Pl Englewood, CO 80110. Phone number (303) 789-5409. I am a older single woman that needed to move 60 miles to another town and store my stuff in storage for a month. I paid $1500 for the move and the two movers that came to my house in Kiowa actually stole two very valuable items that I can never replace. These were large items too, so it wasn't as if they could just misplace them. They took a large stone horse that I got from Italy. It was heavy and sat on my mantel over the fireplace. The second item taken was a large framed picture of two horses done in charcoal by an artist in Elbert, CO.
The movers who came out were named ** and **. I saw one guy take these two specific items out of the house by hand, but they never made it into my storage. I tipped each guy $100 when they were finished but I didn't expect them to steal from me. They knew I was going to be staying in a hotel for a month until I could buy a new house. I am just sick to my stomach about this, and I have complained, but nothing will be done. It's their word over mine. They also forgot items that I needed in order to put my bed back together. So now I cannot put my bed together, and I am handicapped and cannot do any of this by myself. I now have to sleep on the couch until I can get someone to help me. I would NEVER recommend these people!!

I believed I was hiring a qualified moving service. Once I walked around reviewing their work I realized they were not the high quality professionals I thought I had hired. I had scratches on the walls on both stairwells and chipped moulding. They leaned a metal bed frames against a wall with anything protecting the wall. The day we moved was a rainy day and they did not cover (or offer) any of the rugs.
Once they delivered the items to my new house is when we started to notice the damage. I had big dents in a brass bed frame, another bed had a hole smashed into the head board. My washing machine was dented. I have continued to find damage to much of my stuff. At some point they became lazy and started to just put some stuff in the garage instead of asking where I wanted it. I would never recommend or agree to have this company move any of my stuff or anyone else stuff. It is not worth the money.. Hire a better company even if it cost more money... You will be happier. I would have happily spent more money to assure my stuff was delivered in the condition in which it was picked up.

I used this moving company in 2006. Two young men showed up at my apartment. Since I already had everything packed, sorted and organized they looked over my belongings in each room, looked at the route they would have to take to get my things out of the apartment and on to the truck. They asked me questions about the building I was moving to such as was there an elevator, where would they park etc. They discussed with each other the best options. All of this took about 10 minutes. They loaded my small 1 bedroom apartment in about 45 minutes, drove to my new apartment and unloaded in about an hour. They were polite, professional and hard working. I paid a little over $350.
The next time I moved I used them again. A very different experience was had the second time. The team arrived 15 minutes late. They stood around for the better part of 30 minutes before they loaded the first thing. They stopped every 15 minutes to smoke cigarettes at 15 minutes a pop. Yes they actually worked for 15 minute and took a 15 minute break several times. The same size apartment I moved from and to for each move but the time line was really different. The driver who seemed to be in charge kept disappearing for 30 minutes or more every single time he walked out with a box. Oh yes he carried one box at a time while the other guy used a wheeled cart to take boxes at a time (he could have taken 5-6 easily but didn't).
I arrived at my new place and waited 2 hours for them to show up. It was a 25 minute drive. The excuse they used was that they got lost. Even though I gave them printed instructions before they left my old place. They were as slow unloading as they were loading. At one point the driver disappeared for over an hour. Even his co worker remarked that he wondered where he was for so long and asked if I had seen him. By the time they were finished I was frustrated I was about in tears. The original estimate I received was three hours. Which sounded reasonable because that was what my first move took from the same size apartment with the same belongings a few years earlier.
By the end of the day my three hour move had taken 8 hours and I was charged more than double what I expected to pay. Oh yes I was charged for the 10 15 minute breaks and the entire time they were "lost". I would tell you about my things that were damaged but even 5 years later I can't stand to think about it. I am still traumatized by my experience with this company and have talked dozens of people out of doing business with them which I will continue to do for as long as they stay in business.

Gather round and listen to the epic saga of how Two Men and a Truck heavily damaged my parents-in-law's refrigerator and refused to take care of it. It all began during their in-town move when the two movers decided they wanted to move the thing out of the front door. Now, with the doors off, it wouldn't have been a problem. But they didn't take them off, and as a result the fridge received three major scratches. Not little cosmetic things, but great gouges that went deep into the material. Oh, and thanks to the mover's policy of not taking five minutes to remove the doors, they couldn't get it into the house they left it in the garage. We filled out the damage report and expected to hear back.
What followed next was an avalanche of promises unkept and phone calls unreturned. They said the appliance repair place that could fix it had dropped the ball and it was out of their hands, but the repairmen said they hadn't heard from Two Men at all. After two weeks, they finally offered us to pay us $240, based on a formula of 60 cents per pound - never mind that, according to the manufacturer, two of the three doors cost a combined $348 just to buy, not even to install. We've tried both the local and the corporate office via phone and email, but still nothing. The local office has been especially bad at getting back to us, even hanging up on us several times. It's been exactly a month now, and they still haven't fixed the fridge. Though they did finally move the fridge into the kitchen 10 days later, though even then they didn't show up at the time they originally promised they'd be there.

We have used Two Men and a Truck for several cross state moves and we are currently preparing for one. We had to have a smaller move today just get the big furniture out. I was called and told the window was between 12-2. I told them that I thought the time was later like 2-4 but they said it wasn't. I explained that I wouldn't be there until 2. They said they could work with that. I got home and waited and finally called at 2:30. I was told that they had called me. I checked my caller ID and someone was here at 1:00! He said he would call me back on my cell. I never heard from anyone again. I called the office and a lady answered this time and explained that I was called several times on my home phone. I have one call from them at 1:00. I am not sure what happened but I will not be able to use them today.
Sadly, there is no way I can trust them with my big move. They said after 2. They changed the time but said they could work with it. They came at 1 and called. They said they left messages, they left none. They said they would call me back on my cell. They did not and said they thought I would call them again. They said the main office called my house as well. I have one number on my caller ID which means that they all called at the same time and left no messages. I am sad because I really have had good experiences with them in the past. It isn't just this one miscommunication. It was several in a row in one day. All reviews on their site are good which means, they don't post the complaints.

I hired this company out of Kingwood, Texas several months in advance but only to move my appliances which consisted of a washer and dryer and a side-by-side refrigerator. The two young men who were sent spent an hour in my kitchen trying to figure out how to get it through a passageway that was too small. I explained to them that when Sears delivered it, the doors were off and then put back on after being brought into the kitchen. They attempted to take the doors off but said they couldn't take the freezer door off because of the ice maker tubing that was connected to it at the bottom. They finally lifted it over the breakfast bar to get it out. I warned them that the people who moved out of the house I just purchased told me they had to take the doors off to get the old side-by-side out of the kitchen. They basically ignored me.
When we arrived at the new house they were able to bring it through the front door and commented "See, that wasn't a problem!" But there was the option of two doorways to move it into the kitchen - they chose the dining room doorway. They began again to try to figure out how to move it through the doorway. I told them again that the doors needed to come off but they insisted on trying to force it through and it become stuck in the doorway. They couldn't go backward or forward. Finally, they forced it to go backward tearing off my sheetrock on the corners of the doorway. Again I said, "Please take the doors off as I told you before!" They finally took off the refrigerator door and removed the freezer door although it was still attached at the bottom - laying it next to the side of the refrigerator - and were able to get it into the kitchen.
One side of the refrigerator has a long dent in it; there is a dent in the front of the freezer door (although small), and both doors have large areas that are scraped. The refrigerator door was not put back on properly and it hangs up when shutting unless you lift up on it. This is a stainless refrigerator and it would be difficult to get the scrapes off - but maybe not impossible. The company has never sent anyone out to look at it but has offered me $360 which is required by the DMV at .60 per pound. I am so upset with them. This happened on February 28, 2015 and it is still not settled. I have sent them the costs to replace both doors and the cost of replacing the refrigerator. I still owed $100 on it when this happened. I have told them that I will settle for $500 but I would never use this company again

Appointment was set/confirmed for 8:30am - received call around 8:45am saying movers did not show up for work and we would be bumped to an after lunch move. The whole move was contingent on getting moved before lunch. I asked for a discount due to inconvenience and was denied. Movers showed up around 12:30pm with a major attitude... they were not happy they had to do another move that same day. We signed for service to start at 12:45pm and movers proceeded to take a smoking break and talk on phone for 15 minutes. One of the first pieces of furniture the lead mover/driver picked up was part of my office desk which broke as he was carrying it. He showed me what happened and basically blamed it on the quality of the desk.
I was upset and confronted him about not moving anything for 15 minutes and once he finally did he dropped my desk! He said "I can leave if you want me to!" I told him "I just want my stuff (**) moved, please!" He proceeded to move a few more pieces then called into his office and QUIT over the phone!!! Very bad situation as some of my furniture was on his truck and he was going to leave. His co-worker talked him into taking off our furniture and putting it in our garage, thank goodness. He got in the TWO MEN and TRUCK vehicle and proceeded to drive out of our neighborhood at a speed of 50+ MPH... speed limit is 15 MPH. I spent more time on the phone talking to managers than movers spent at my house loading truck!! Manager said he would get another crew out to move us which he eventually called back and said he had one and would come out shortly... no discount offered!
After giving it some thought and discussing with my wife we decided to get some friends/family to complete the move on our own. I would say this was the all time WORSE customer service experience I ever had!!! I would not recommend TWO MEN and a TRUCK to anyone even if they offered a free move!!! Oh yeah, when I ask when they would come out to repair my desk their manager never called me back.

Do not use Two Men and Truck at the McFarland Alpharetta Georgia location or really anywhere if you can help it. I would give them no stars if I could. They do not even deserve 1 star. We were a repeat customer and treated so poorly. They held our furniture for 3 additional days without consent and required us to pay an inflated amount before they would deliver our furniture. Many, many damages but we could not receive adequate compensation because we did not purchase the extended insurance for $450! Chairs and furniture thrown in the truck not carefully wrapped or stacked. Movers did not bring water or food so we’re worn out by noon. Sat around for 2 hours for lunch which we bought and paid for the food and the hours they sat around. They got the truck stuck for 1 1/2 hours which we also paid for.
Because of the poor service and use of their time, they could not finish in one day and proceeded to take our furniture without our consent to sit, where we were not told, for an additional 3 days. That was never discussed as a possibility when quoting our job. I contacted corporate thinking they would want to know how a franchise is using their name and received no help at all over a 3 week period. They called the franchise to contact us. The franchise responded that we were lying (of course) and proceeded to tell us what really happened even though management was not there.
They are such an unprofessional company even corporate. It was one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever experienced. If you care anything about your furniture, your wallet (because the end price is never what you are quoted so they can get your business), your sanity or your back (we had to sleep on the floor for 3 nights as they kept 1/3 of the furniture for 3 days). We did receive a small refund several weeks later because it only took 2 hours to unload the last of the furniture not 4 which we had been forced to pay before they would unload. DO NOT USE 2 MEN and a TRUCK. You will not receive "Movers who care" treatment nor any restitution if you suffer the way we did. They do not care. Period.

After reviewing the reasonable quote that was emailed to me, I decided to add the third mover to save time. In the end, however, the men spent almost three hours longer than what I was quoted for. Two of the movers told me that it was their first day on the job, and that's why they were taking as long as they did. That being said, their inexperience cost me almost $900, which was $300 over the estimate that I was given. When I returned to my former apartment, I was extremely unhappy with how many of my belongings they had left behind. Why even hire movers in the first place? Most of the furniture was brought outside before they were poorly wrapped for storage. When I called and asked to speak to the manager (Olai **), he tried to make me believe I was the crazy one. He said, "I explained all the cost to you upfront." I stated, "Do you honestly believe I'd sign up to pay almost $800 dollars for a move going less than 4 miles away?!" Olai clearly thought my anger was joke so I ended our call. These guys didn't have to pack a single thing, they were only hired to load and unload at the new place. How is it that a simple move like that can cost $787?
I am not finished with these guys, I plan on going to the Better Business Bureau. I busted my butt helping these movers, so we actually had four guys and I still ended owing nearly $800. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from these guys. Plus their movers intentionally took their time which ultimately cost me.

I hired the Stockbridge, GA location back in May of 2014. The movers had damaged several items but I only brought to their attention 2 items. I immediately reported the issue and to this date, February 2015, after numerous in-person visits and numerous phone calls, have yet to be reimbursed for the broken items. Every visit and every call is yet another run-around. I would not recommend using this company to anyone. Mover Beware!

TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!! Do NOT use this moving company! Called and scheduled appointment for 3 pm and after confirming the day before and the day of moving...movers never showed up. Owner barely speaks English and the whole time I was calling to check on the status of their location he either didn't get the phone or kept delaying for hours. Finally at 8pm I received a text from him stating that my moving was canceled due to him having to call the police on another mover (WONDER WHY!!). Called him once I received the message after I had been waiting for over 5 hours and he very arrogantly said: "I'm home now. I move you tomorrow. Read your text. I sent you text." Never had a worse experience than this. Move on to your next choice...This is not the one...the other one at least MIGHT show up.

I worked for this company for a little over a year. I've never worked for such a man ** who lies to his employees and customers. He underestimates most moves under false pretenses, in order to get the customer's business. For example, if in actuality, it takes us 7 hours to move you, he would tell you that it would only take us 4 hours to move you in order to sell the job. Once we arrive at the job and realize it's going to take 7 hours, customers would become angry with us (the movers). We always received complaints about a job going over the estimate. I've attempted to resolve this matter as an employee by suggesting on the spot estimates vs. over the phone estimates. His reply was that liars are buyers, meaning that customers do not tell him everything that is to be moved, during the phone estimate. That sometimes is true, but it happens a lot, instead of sometimes. We have received some complaints about our attitudes on the job, which was due to the customers' reaction after finding out ** lied to them. We worked hard as movers to get our company in good standings for recommendation.
He would send his worst employees (those lazy ones who do not care about the customers' items) along with his hardworking best ones. That really became problematic because I have had to pay for numerous damages out of my own pocket. Eventually, we refused that idea and later became faced with a choice of working with the bad employees or termination. There were some incidents where some bisexual employees were hired and I would get harassed by them. Also, I was close to fighting after being touched. I asked ** not to put me with that certain guy again and explained why. He continued to put me with the guy anyway. He always says, "Go to work with a positive attitude and smile," but it was becoming more and more impossible under his conditions.
Last but not least, we strive to be the best at what we do, meaning good customer service, care and safety. That would determine good replies at the end of our jobs which would allow us to receive bonuses at the end of the month. I've learned that he does not post all the replies we receive on the website. The reason for that is so that we had no way of knowing how much bonus funds we were entitled to. He recently just came with an Idea as far as how we were going to get paid. We started off as hourly employees, but now, ** says we are to be paid for the reply cards we receive which have to be 5 stars. There are 3 brackets of ratings. If we receive a rating of the low 4.50, we would receive $10.50 hourly, a mid-rating of $11.50 an hour and the highest rating, $14.00 an hour. Those who received raises are now stuck with possibility of going back to low hourly rate. Again, since ** is a dishonest man, I knew that we were in the process of being robbed by him. I felt he robbed the customers enough by overcharging them on boxes and supplies, port to port charges and he never kept the same price rates. So, I quit.
I do not recommend anyone to use this company or seek employment with this company ever again.

On August 13, 2009, I hired Two Men to move my furniture. The job was estimated at 5 hours, however, it really should not have taken that long. I packed all boxes and had everything centrally located for the guys to move. Prior to Aug. 13, I spoke with Josh **, who informed me of their services. He was every articulate in his selling points. One of the key selling point that he wanted me to note that made Two Men different from the other moving companies is that if his workers arrived at the job site and realized that the job needed a third man, then one would be called at no additional charge to me. After the workers had been at my home for 2 1/2, I asked how much longer would it be. One of the workers, Shawn, said another 30 minutes. It turned into another 1 1/2 hours. His excuse was because he didn't know that it would take so long to break down my bed. The bed was not your standard bed and may have required additional help.
Once arrived at the new location, I noted that one of the guys was moving boxes alone as the other guy folded blankets. I don't think this is something I should be paying for. When I expressed this to their local and corporate offices, they were unresponsive. Their excuse is that the truck must be returned in the order in which it left there original location. I told them that's fine, but when I'm paying by the hour, I should not have to pay for one guy to move boxes as the other fold their blankets. Also, the new location has elevator doors, one of the movers Jordan, expressed that elevator jobs take longer and are harder because of the opening and closing of the doors, which is another reason why I couldn't understand why one person would be doing their cleaning chores or additional assistance was not requested. I feel like they were purposely running up the clock since this was a per hour job. I was not able to get a resolution from the local offices or corporate. I've asked for a credit of one hour.

A tornado hit our home in April of 2008 and the furnishings that we had left were moved to storage by ServePro. Our refrigerator was moved to ServePro's warehouse. We hired 2 Men and a Truck to move the furniture and the refrigerator to our rental house. The scheduler didn't schedule the refrigerator the same time as the other furniture and when they actually ended up delivering it 2 weeks later, all the shelves were missing. They looked in all their warehouses and trucks because it apparently got moved around a lot in 2 weeks and they couldn't find them. I called Whirlpool and they no longer made them, so I couldn't replace them.
When I asked Sal, the manager, what he was going to do to rectify the situation, he said he would continue to look. There was a refrigerator in the rental so I knew we wouldn't need one for another 4 months or so. When I followed up 4 months later, he said he would provide us with a used refrigerator. My husband said that was unacceptable since we knew the condition ours was in when we left it and we didn't even know if the used one was working. Sal agreed to pay us $150.00. That was on December 5.
As of December 14th we hadn't gotten the money so I called and his secretary said it had been sitting on his desk and he just hadn't signed it. I called him that day on his cell, he said he would send it. We got it alright. It was made out for $100.00! They obviously don't pay attention to details, and don't have much business integrity. He is definitely not a man of his word. He even had the nerve in the conversation in which we negotiated the remuneration amount to ask us to use their company to move us back into our house and he would personally supervise the move this time!
