I had them scheduled for a move on Saturday. They were supposed to be there between 7-8 am, didn't arrive until 8:43am. The estimator very nice man told me my estimate was for 10 hours at $160.00 per hour and I kept thinking for my size move, insane. Well the guy showed up and told me cash upon delivery the quote, told me I could pay with credit card but I would get a discount if I paid cash. The gentleman argued with me. He then told me for wrapping my bed and my couch cost which I was not told, then the reason it takes 10 hours is everything is wrapped in tape and wrapping and of course they charge you 6 dollars for every roll of tape and they use a roll on each item.
My final bill ended up costing $2160.00. They wanted $2300.00 but I argued with the man. I feel very lied to and deceived and I have several damaged items and a missing basket which had a lot of stuff in it. They say they're sending me a claim form not sure if I will ever get it, damages Tv, dog food container, lost entire bag of dog food, damage to my wall and banister I just had painted, screen door is not closing now, and a missing basket. It doesn't seem like a lot but it's enough to want to be compensated for it. I have used movers in the past and I have never had such a bait-and-switch. I just want them to make this situation right.
