The phone estimate was spot-on. No extras or hidden fees at the destination and the three man crew was a pleasure to work with and as promised/advertised, a veteran was part of the crew. The entire move, from the first (phone) contact to paying the bill was extremely courteous and respectful. If you're planning to move, save time and (money), contact the Moving Squad FIRST, you'll be glad you chose this company.

The Moving Squad had very good people. They were very professional and got the job done. They were very helpful overall. When the wife changed her mind about moving one piece for another from one room to the back, they were very accommodating.

The moving coordinators of Moving Squad were very helpful. They were also very thorough through the phone while other companies just gave me an estimate. Moving Squad went into detail how many pieces in each room of the house and the quote at the beginning was very close to the end deal. The crew also were on time and they even gave me a courtesy call before they arrived. What I like about them is that they told me all the furniture will be covered, and they actually did that. There were very little scratches and no damages done. I definitely will recommend them. They were very professional.

I got on the internet and compared a few places. Then I called Moving Squad and talked to several different people who all seemed nice and gave me a quote that I could live with. Their delivery crew arrived on time and were professional. I tipped them on the first day and then again on the second day for the unloading. The other two guys in the pickup and delivery crew were nice but the third guy made a comment to me on the tipping. I gave them the usual 10% ($50 for each of them) but that third guy made a smug remark about me not liking their work. I thought that was a little uncalled for because tipping is really optional, besides I gave them good rating in the comments. I told people about this incident and they also thought that I tipped adequately.
The crew ended up waiting the day of the delivery since I closed on two houses on the same day - the one I sold and the one I bought. Unfortunately the crew got here before the money so they wouldn't unload until the money transfers. They waited in front of my house for around an hour and ended up charging me for the wait. The third guy who they just brought along for the unloading also cost me more. They also broke a cup, a priced plate, and an antique vase that belonged to my long-deceased aunt. I didn’t even bring those up because I know that in any move there might be some broken items. I understand all the extra costs, it's just the smart remark about my tipping that I didn't appreciate.

Moving Squad was recommended on review sites so I chose them for the job. The moving coordinator asked me a lot of good questions and helped me get into the right place. My experience with Moving Squad wasn't great. They promote themselves well on the internet and when I called them initially, the person who handles the calls seemed very efficient and professional. On the day of the move, they were on time, but I was shocked to see that the people who pulled up were shady looking. One of the guys was telling me he just got out of prison.
When they got over to my brand new home, they didn’t have anything to put on their feet to protect my brand new floors and wouldn’t take off their shoes. They scratched the walls and slammed the furniture down. One of the fellows was stomping up and down the newly done stairs as well. When they left I had to have the entire stairs re-finished because there were about eight holes in there and the repair impacted us for three days.
To make it worse, I wanted to give them a tip even though it was a terrible experience but when I went out to their truck to give $120 which I thought was a decent amount for the three of them, the one guy who was causing most of the trouble looked at it with his expression being "just $40?” It was horrible. I was really glad to have that move over with. Their attitude and language were not what I was expecting. From start to finish, it was the worst moving experience.

Moving Squad was right across the street from where I work so I went to their office and decided to go with them for my move. Their moving coordinator was pleasant. He estimated my inventory while he was on the phone with me. The delivery crew was courteous and professional for the most part, however, I think they charged me a little more than what they originally quoted me, but I didn't have the papers of the quote because I just wanted to get it done and didn't pay attention to a lot of things.

Moving Squad could not be better! Every step of the way they were in touch to make sure that EVERY possible need was planned for, e.g., extra coverage during transit, estimated ETA for loading, etc. THE SQUAD was VERY professional... at NO TIME did we ever hear any profanity or inter-squad disharmony. Those guys were ALWAYS productively busy, making certain of "what goes" and "what stays." We had done some pre-arrival organization which expedited the process... they acknowledged that and were very appreciative. They loaded and moved us to our new "digs" before sunset (approx. 100 miles). They were VERY accommodating in furniture and appliance placement. AND... ALL AT A VERY COMPETITIVE PRICE!! If you're needing to move... don't even bother getting quotes from anyone else... OUR squad was like a hive of bees... it was a honey of an experience!

The pickup and delivery crew were on time and organized. They did a good job. The only thing I didn't like was that I had my stuff stored for a couple of days and it rained. One of the boxes and one of my furniture got wet. They told me to fill-up an application. I was so upset that I didn't even do that. I just said forget about it. Also, I was not too happy with them because I thought they're giving me a good estimation. The coordinator estimated for a certain amount of hours and then they came and the driver told me it could vary. Then if it varied a bit more, I would have to pay a little bit more.

I looked at the references online, testimonials, price, communication and chose Moving Squad. I'm in real estate and I contracted on behalf of the client because she's a friend. I was there during the whole procedure. There was too much communication from William, the moving coordinator but it went very good. Unfortunately, the delivery took longer than expected because the truck ran into a mechanical problem but the productivity of the crew that day was also very good. I've already contracted Moving Squad for two more moves with two more clients.

My moving coordinator was very informative, helpful and very diligent in following up. The crew was on time and professional. But towards the end, one of the guys gave up because he said he was done for the day. His time had finished so he went and sat in the truck, and shifted the job to the other two guys. So I had to pay more money.

I searched online for moving companies and since Moving Squad responded sooner than the others, I decided to get their service. Their moving coordinator was very good and the pick-up and delivery crew were on time. They all worked hard, although the moving worker was doing things very fast and I worried about my items. Everything as far as the Moving Squad office was fine. They answered all my emails and they called me every day until I knew my exact move out day then we scheduled it. Moreover, the three guys that came were fantastic. It was pouring rain that day and we had to move out of a three-story townhouse into a big two-story home. A lot of the areas, like the stairwells were very tight.
It wasn't a make or break but I hired them specifically since they said that they would have no issues moving my gym equipment out of a third floor townhouse and taking it apart back and forth. I have an illness and so I have to exercise but they're not qualified to take it apart and put it back. They moved it out of the townhouse and did kill themselves trying to get it in the next house but upon doing that, they broke everything. There were wires hanging everywhere. So, the guy from Moving Squad knew how to take stuff apart but he didn't know how to put it together and make it work.
At the end of the day when they were done with the gym equipment they rushed out and didn't go over it with me. I walked upstairs and saw everything was broken but that's the only bad thing. I called the guys that were here, because they gave me their phone number, and they admitted to not putting all the screws back. There was also one gentleman, Chris, who was very nice. He tried to get the screws back to me but he just kept working late every night. They were very respectful, came on time and they tried their best.

My friend had used Moving Squad. She was very pleased with them and referred it to me. I was a little surprised that the moving coordinator didn't quite explain to me what the charge would be for the hours out. I told him that some of the stuff was going to Miami and that is an hour drive each way. In spite of that, we gave them a fair tip that's not anywhere near what my friend gave them. However, my daughter was upset because after we used her credit card, the credit card company called her the next day about somebody attempting to use her number. I can't accuse anybody because there's no proof, but she said it had to be them because she just used the card. It's really suspicious.

My storage pods that I had hired the Moving Squad team to unload arrived late and the guys sat and waited. At that point, I was frustrated because my belongings had showed up late to begin with so I told them to just get everything in the condo. They had patience carrying everything in and were very careful with things. By the time they were done unloading everything, it was 7 o'clock at night. They then offered to set up any furniture even though I'm sure the poor guys wanted to go home. I was exhausted so I said "No, thank you", but I was really impressed that they went out of their way to help. Those three guys that were here were rock stars.

My experience with the Moving Squad wasn't good this time around. First of all, they showed up with a truck that was almost full so they couldn't fit all of my stuff. They only left 10 feet for my stuff and I had to use my car to fill up the rest of the stuff, but we still couldn't get everything in. I had to go back with my personal vehicle and pick up the stuff that we couldn't fit in to both combined vehicles. The second was the time that I scheduled the move for was not the time that was conveyed to them. And there was miscommunication between the person who I set the move up with and the movers. It was not a pretty experience at all.

I'm moving here to the apartment complex and working here at the same time. Any resident that would move out, I would recommend Moving Squad. They were most excellent. Both guys were so nice, professional, and fast. I tried so many other moving companies but I picked this company. It was a good experience.

Quick, friendly, explained everything; things they had to be taken apart went back together right. Very, very good moving experience. They had to deal with stairs on both ends and I never heard a complaint. Hope I don't have to move again anytime soon, but if I do...you will hear from me.

I've worked with Moving Squad before and I've had a very positive experience but this second time, I won't work with them again. They showed up a little early which isn't their fault. But because they wanted to get it done quick, at the end, they rushed and ended up throwing boxes into a shed. I thought they broke some stuff but that could be on us. They wouldn't listen to my wife and put stuff wherever they wanted just to get it done. I don't feel that I should have to chase after them to make sure they put all the stuff in the truck. I had to force them to open up the truck again and put a couple of extra things in there.
They were rude to my wife and were more concerned about getting a tip than the quality of stuff. The packer was okay but I was not impressed with the foreman and the lead laborer. They spent more time kissing my ass, hoping I'd give them a bigger tip than doing their job. I was very nice that I did tip them and even said nice things on their sheet for their boss but the truth is, after I had a few minutes to look at what they did, I was very disappointed. My wife has called and tried to talk with the manager at the moving coordinator because we also felt that there was a misrepresentation to us. One of the reasons we did not have a major issue with them going quicker is we thought that if they're done sooner, the price wouldn't be as high as it was but we were told that we're going to pay the full price no matter what. It was not a great experience.

We chose Moving Squad because our friends had used them. The interactions I had with the moving coordinator was done on the phone. It was quick and pretty close to what we actually ended up using timelines. The delivery crew was on time, very friendly and speedy. The pick-up and delivery crew were extremely professional and courteous and that's why we will definitely use them again. I would want the same crew. They are well worth the money spent.

I had a very positive experience with Moving Squad. I knew I got screwed over a little bit. They shocked and wasted time to charge me for another half hour. The man, Stefano, told them to wait a little bit of time and I heard the conversation. Moving companies are always scuzzy and the Moving Squad is no different. I knew that going in, so I'm not upset.

Moving Squad's pick-up and delivery crew arrived on time. Jim, the coordinator and one of the three movers, was nice and efficient. But it was an unpleasant experience and I wasn't happy with the overall quality. They took much longer because they were missing 33% of the manpower, and they almost killed themselves because there was just two of them. One of them was unfit because he was too tired. He was sick and was throwing up. It took him until 2 o'clock to help out because he was sleeping in the truck during the morning. They were notified one day ahead and they had a heavy night. It was very bad. I paid for him also while he was not functional for half of the day. He was compelled to pick up his child at 5 o'clock so he started to throw stuff very quickly and there was some little damage. It was a horrific experience. One of them was rude with my wife because he didn't want to be instructed how to protect the furniture.
The day was made by the coordinator but he was the only one who was really working and tried to get the things done. I didn't have the time to reschedule because I was compelled to vacate the place in a timely fashion, so I moved forward and tried to get the things done. I went to their office because I wanted to personally describe to them a heavy, six feet of one-inch glass table to be moved; that it needs means to bring down, because it's slippery and is on one floor above the ground level. I told them how to do that. But they didn't tell the movers (they claim to be from family-owned but this family doesn't talk to each other).
Moreover when I tipped the movers they complained because the tip was not really very much, and was average about 18% of the total amount. It was a generous tip. I thought Moving Squad was decently organized, but they were not. They could have just had a bad day, but I realized it was the company that was dysfunctional. They didn't have the decency to move blankets just for free (just apologizing) because they didn't realize that everything was completely messed up. I'm not going to recommend them.

Our experience with Moving Squad started off good and then it got really rough. They quoted me once price and they charged me another. Then one of the guys who came to do the order and pick up the stuff kept asking for a tip the whole time and the other two gentlemen that were along with him felt embarrassed that he kept asking for a tip. And what was really annoying was that we ended up giving him a tip although it wasn't as much as we gave the other guys. At the end of the day, they told us that we didn't have to give them a tip, but we felt pressured and we just wanted to be done with it because we're fed up.
And then when we got to Orlando, he had told me that it was gonna be this amount and we're not gonna pay more than that. But, when we go to Palm Bay, it was so hectic so we signed and paid for whatever it was on the receipt and it was probably $130 or $140 more than what we should have paid. We didn't realize it until the next day when my fiance told me that we're supposed to pay a lot less. She asked me to pull out the last estimate that we had and she was right. So I called them and the gentleman I spoke to was rude and upset about it at first. I raised my voice which was wrong and I understand that and I apologized for that. But after I told him everything about our experience while they were doing the moving he understood our situation and said he was really sorry about it and refunded us the money.
Overall, I would love to use the company again if I didn't have to go through that experience. Because at the end of the day, they moved all of my things from one location to the other. They moved it and handled everything with care and nothing was broken. And the other two guys are very nice but I'd never want that one guy on a trip again because he's rude. Then the whole credit thing was bad, but the gentleman I spoke to stood behind what they originally had quoted us and credited out card back. That was honest and I commend them for that.

I decided since Moving Squad was local that I'd give them a call and my experience with them has been excellent. Everything with the moving coordinator was fine and the pickup and delivery crew were on time, too. They were professional and courteous. They were coordinated among themselves and they also made it very pleasant. I didn't have to worry about anything. They were great.

People in the apartment complex I moved into were talking about Moving Squad, so I booked them for my move, and they were unusually professional. The pickup and delivery crew was on time, and they didn't charge me anything extra even though there were a few extra minor things that they did. When dealing with moving companies, I'm always concerned about being ripped off because it happens, but Moving Squad charged me exactly what the price quote was. They're also one of very few moving companies that take credit card payments, which is nice because at the time people are moving, most of them are already tapped out. They were excellent, and I would be glad to endorse them.

I looked up Moving Squad online and noticed that my moving wouldn't take me so much time with the manpower they have and the way they pack the stuff. The coordinator who helped us estimate our inventory and obtain a quote for our move was very professional. The pick-up and delivery crew were on time, and as a matter of fact, they were before time. But I have a little experience with them. My dining table, that I've had for 12 years, is broken. They were supposed to unscrew it, but the way they did it, it broke. I have to pay somebody to fix it. This table came all the way from New York, brand new, and nothing happened to it for 11 years. So that part didn't work out for me.

Moving Squad was awesome. I went to look for quotes and I landed on a website where I just fill in my data and I think emails were sent out to different companies. And Moving Squad gave me the best rate. The pickup and delivery crew were absolutely on time and were very courteous.
