I was very happy with my Moving Squad experience. Anthony and his co-worker were efficient and professional and handled all my belongings with great care. I was pleased at how quickly and thoroughly they worked. In fact, after they had unloaded everything at my destination, two of my new neighbors came over and remarked how impressed they were with Anthony and his co-worker. "Very professional" and "hardworking" they said. I couldn't agree more. I will definitely use Moving Squad the next time I move. And I told everyone after my move how pleased and impressed I was with the whole Moving Squad experience. You guys rock!

The coordinator was very helpful and the quote was within range of what I expected. Within the process, Moving Squad was very communicative. They contacted me a couple of times before the move to make sure everything was fine. And on the day of the move, they called and said when they were gonna be there and kept in contact. So, everything went smoothly. They took care of the furniture and went above and beyond to make sure everything went fine.

We evaluate other quotations to move from Boca to Loxahatchee and one of the reason to make the decision was the number of people that the company send (3 men). The process was quick and they take care of everything in both locations. We have been moving 3 times in the last 2 years (starting from Puerto Rico/Miramar, Miramar/Boca and Boca/Loxahatchee) and this time was the best experience. I highly recommend Moving Squad, the customer services, professionalism and value make that company the best Moving Company!

I called around a few places and the woman from Moving Squad that I dealt with was very nice and knowledgeable, so I went with them. My house was for sale, and she looked up on realty.com. She saw the furniture I had that I was gonna be moving. And we went through the house, item by item, on what I was gonna be taking and what I was not gonna be taking, and she came up with an estimate. It was pretty close to what I paid in the end and I paid less. The move turned out to be less stressful than I thought it would be. The moving crew was very good. Everything worked out fine. They just all seemed very efficient. They knew what they were doing.

I work in an apartment community and a lot of the residents have used Moving Squad before and spoke highly of them. So, I decided to use them. The coordinator was very nice and gave me all the information I needed. And then the guys that came were very great, personable, took care of my stuff, made sure that everything was protected, and I appreciated that. They were actually right on time if not a little early and got everything done in just a few hours.
Thank you for taking time to share your wonderful feedback with our online customers. We sincerely appreciate your outstanding review and we are pleased to see that we were able to exceed your service expectations.

Hi my name is Scott, I’ve used Moving Squad for myself, my dad and other family members over the last 7-10 years or so. We’ve always had a positive experience, even had the same foreman on a couple of occasions. They are awesome, always disassembled all necessary furniture. Always wrapped all the furniture being moved with all the necessary padding. Always used, tv cartons, mirror and picture cartons and mattress container. They even offered a few free wardrobes as well. I would never use another company to make my move.

The New manager called me worry for my last review and for all that happened with my moving. I feel that he has the will and the desire to make a profound change in the company, and it is worth giving him the opportunity to prove it. The truth is, from the telephone conversation I had with him, I am sure that this is going to happen. To start, he hired new staff and suggested Camille, who at the time was the only person who was efficient, kind, concerned about attending to my complaint and was really very attentive.

I’ve used Moving Squad for two moves so far, one from Dania Beach to West Palm Beach and then again from West Palm Beach to Deerfield Beach. Both times the Moving Squad team did a great job and communicated well throughout. There were no surprises on moving day, and we paid exactly what we were quoted. The movers arrived on time and were very friendly and professional. I will continue to use Moving Squad for any future moves.

This is the owner of the company's brother who called me on Sept. 14 to tell me he was delivering that day while I was sitting in front of the DMV. I asked him if he could do Sept. 21 and he agreed to the date. I was at home depot buying sheets of plywood to make it easier for them to unload since I gave them ample warning that the driveway construction was not complete on our pavers. They said it was not a problem then and the day of delivery. On the 21 I was expecting delivery and called; however, no one had any record of anybody coming out to deliver.
As the date approached it turns out that he was giving me a window of Sept. 21 until October 1 for pickup and that they would let me know three days in advance and that the driver would call 1 hour before delivery. I only found out that the delivery could not be made on the 21st that morning because I happened to call. I had to rent a uhaul and was did not buy the wood because I was told no delivery. When I told Stephanou that he said to "stop playing games" and had a completely unprofessional attitude. I just wanted my items delivered, after all the entire move cost over 20k and to make things worse because of their carelessness we have an alarming number of broken, banged, and completely destroyed items some of which have been in my family for generations including a vintage cast iron stove and large wine fermenting glass bottle.
I am not pleased with this company or Colonial Van lines which they work for. It has been a nightmare to do business and just have them hold up their end of the bargain. To top it off their delivery drivers bad mouth both organizations and just tell you that they are the frontmen for crappy organization that they work for and that they just "get paid by the hour and get helped with tips." We had two moving crews on the same day with two different trucks and neither of them did what we had asked for as part of our service.
I did pay for insurance on my items so I hope they are prepared to pay for a jukebox from 1960, a 3 thousand dollar click and grow wall garden, and numerous plates and glasses. I signed papers on the first truck, but the second truck never left me a copy or signed anything in front of me? What a letdown. Do not let this happen to you. Never use Colonial Van Lines or Moving Squad. Stay away from Stefanou.

Please think twice before doing any business with this moving company! After what we went through with them, I genuinely doubt their legitimacy. Nothing can honestly describe the horrific experience and the trauma we left with after having Moving Squad making our move. It started by first coordinating our move with Ryan, which calculated our inventory by going room by room, estimated how many movers we need, hours, and gave us an offer.
On the day of the move, the movers were 2 hours late and came short with only two movers instead of 3 as initially agreed. It was already the middle of the day, and from what we understood they finished an earlier move before arriving to do our place. They barely moved stuff; it took them 5 hours to move only boxes! When we called Ryan and raised all those issues and concerns, he directed us to his supervisor and said that he could not help us! Ryan’s supervisor blamed us for having more items in our inventory, which was not true! Ryan was the one who calculated the inventory, not us. Nevertheless, this claim was proven not to be the case later that day. What a terrible customer service!!
Eventually, they decided (not us) to send an additional truck and additional movers and charged us for everything, including additional extra 2 hours, which they didn’t use, and until now they have not refunded us. They requested us to sign a document (Non-disclosure agreement) that meant to keep us silent if we wanted to receive a refund for the 2 hours they charged unlawfully. We, of course, refused to sign this.
The original offer we received from Ryan was $1,058 for three movers and 7 hours. After this terrible experience, we were charged $2,874 - 5 movers and 13 hours that in fact worked 2 hours less. In addition to all of that, they damaged our furniture and our claims were declined. They also forgot to move a huge glass top dining table. We had to find and pay someone else to move it for us after that day. Please look for a different mover!

We were originally going to go with a more cheaper company trying to save those extra $$$. The cheaper company lack of information and communication sent up so many red flags I had to get out of that commitment before it was too late. Contracting Moving Squad was one of the best decisions me and my husband could have ever made. From start to finish with Moving Squad was hands-down professionalism. Starting with Ryan my Moving Squad sales rep was extremely thorough with all of the information that he provided for my quote. His turnaround with providing me liability information was impeccable (btw, this process was such a hassle with the previous moving company, the reason I had to cancel).
Ryan has a personality like no other, he is definitely made for customer relations. Now to my movers Tavares, Michael & Roshane the prime definition of a SQUAD. They were on time, actually a little earlier than expected but did not mind waiting (per my request) until my contracted time. Diligent and respectful to us and our property. This squad work was beyond our expectation. Once we had the paperwork situated these gentlemen had my furniture wrapped up, home cleared out and on their truck in 30 MINUTES. Got to our new address and had our things unloaded, all furnishing in their appointed places throughout our new home all within 2 hours???? Me and my husband could not BELIEVE IT!!!
My husband was more than happy to tip these gentleman. Let me tell you something people you get what you pay for. We are so happy we did not go the cheaper route. But went with quality. I will never be moving any other way after this experience. And let me tell you the service did not stop there. Following my services customer relations follows up with me to utilize any feedback to train their team to provide current and future customers with top-tier service... MOVING SQUAD you are headed in the right direction if all of your staff reflects the 4 gentleman that I've mentioned. TOP NOTCH. Keep up the good work????

Moving Squad had very good ratings. They interacted with my sons and my wife. The major issue that we had was we use American Express and they didn’t accept that. It was a little tricky ‘cause we were out of town at the time. Our kids are moving from college, home. It’s the car that we use to travel and do most of our business. That was a little tough, but outside of that everything else was okay. The delivery crew picked up the car a little earlier and were very professional. Overall, they communicated well. My wife said they did a good job following up throughout the day. It was smooth.

I moved twice with Moving Squad. I felt confident with the guy who I talked to the first time that's why I chose the company. The first time that Moving Squad came, they were on time. On the second time, it was scheduled between 12:00 and 3:00 and they came at 2:30. Their moving coordinator was really nice. He explained things to me and everything went well. Overall, it was a great experience. It went fast for the moving from one place to another. However, there were some furniture that were damaged. I had a complaint with a claim and I'm waiting to see what's gonna happen with that.

I received a recommendation from my mother-in-law regarding Moving Squad, and the moving coordinator seemed very knowledgeable with my furniture. Apparently, he was looking at it online because he could describe my furniture for me. So, I knew he saw pictures of my house I had up for sale. The pick up and delivery crew was also very nice. They were very cordial and were always saying, “Yes, ma’am,” “No, ma’am,” “Thank you, ma’am.” So, they were very proper.
But we had issues during the delivery with the rain and they hit a wall. There is a scratch on the wall. It’s near an edge, and I haven’t really figured out if I could do spackling or something. I’m not worried about it. But I did complain. I’ve several people call me and follow up, and follow up, and follow up. And one of the things that happened is that my dresser and nightstand have sticky residue on the outer edges of the furniture and fuzz from the blankets that are used.
I explained that it was probably old tacky stuff from the previous used tapes that left it tacky, and then blew residue from their blankets on my furniture. I mentioned it to one of the men, but I didn’t go further and complain at the moment because I thought it would be something that I could take off with furniture polish. But no, it hasn’t come off. It’s not at the top of my list to fix today or tomorrow, but it is something that’s bothering me. And it’s a good portion from top to bottom of both the nightstand and the dresser. It didn’t happen to any of the furniture, but those two.
Also I initially was given an estimate I complained to the person that was initially doing the furniture with me, and I said to him that I’m not moving certain things. He left it in the list and I feel that I was overcharged due to that furniture that he left in the list that was not getting moved. I didn’t know how to complain that they’re asking me for an extra $1,000 that was never in any of the estimate. They figured something without being sure of the weight of the furniture. So, I didn’t know that that was supposed to be in there. But I’m satisfied with most of the work.
I kept getting different people calling me, so I kept talking to whoever was calling me. I felt I wasn’t going to get any money back or anything like that. So, I’m not going to refer the company to anybody because I’m afraid that it might happen to them. And I don’t wanna be a referral to something if they’re gonna suffer the same as me, unless I have a full conversation and explain to them, “Expect this, this, and this,” and make sure it’s better than what I experienced. But I really liked everything to a certain point. They seemed like a very well-prepared company for doing this. But there were things excluded from my original conversation that I did not know I had to look for.

We contacted the storage facility where our friend had a storage unit being rented. We asked them if they had any contacts, or if they had any business cards of any moving companies. They gave us a list of three of them. For every obstacle that I had, the guy that I talked to at the Moving Squad was like they could work around it or they would figure it out. I really felt better about this transaction taking place after talking to him. I felt more at ease dealing with him.
We hired a moving company to empty out our friend's apartment and move it into another storage facility. And what Moving Squad was gonna charge us was 100% based on trust and then being honest. So I trusted them for their honesty. And they were honest. When the guys got there the next day to do the move, it was a whole lot more work than we originally thought because when the police went through my friend's apartment, it was a mess.
The guy from Moving Squad called me back in the morning and told me what we were dealing with. He said if they were gonna get it done that day, they need to get some more people out there. So it was gonna increase the cost. Additionally, there was a whole lot more stuff there. Our quote went from being one thing to being $3,500. They made sure that they have my okay for the $3,500, and I told them yes. They did everything that they needed to do. They got it done a little bit earlier. And when all was said and done, the final price was about $2,650. So I was very happy.
It was super stressful, but the guy was nice. We worked through every single issue that day. They emptied out a two-bedroom apartment and put it into a 12 x 20 storage facility. They packed it to the hilt. At the end of the day, he could have kept the price at $3,500, and I wouldn't have known any difference. But it was almost $1,000 less. I can't say enough good things about that. I'm in another state, and I would have never seen it, but they were still honest.

Worst experience ever!!!! They were advised that we had a move out time window and the first thing they do is arrive 20 minutes late. Do not use them for any high rise building move outs, they will overpromise and under deliver. They were more focused on moving out boxes and not taking apart our bedroom sets, because of that, the majority of our bedroom sets were left in the 35th Floor and it has been 2 days since our move and we are still without our bedroom sets. Finally, they left one of our pieces of furniture in the 1st floor of the building and were overheard by one of the maintenance people "to leave it behind" and it is still there!! I informed the moving company of all these details and all they could do was apologize and tell me that they understand, however, I received no comment when I sent them the picture of the furniture they left behind.
I paid over $2000 for a Failed move. They also charge for fuel (15% of the total moving estimate which they say is for overhead, which makes me wonder how they come up with their hourly price of $115.00). Other companies don't charge the fuel surcharge on a percentage basis. They also charge for overtime (time and a half) if they pass 8 eight hours, so beware of how long they say in the estimate.
In summary, they stress they are professionals and come in late as well as hire people who smell like they haven't taken a bath in several weeks. They state that they do a background check on everyone they hire; however, one of the movers admitted that they would rather be smoking weed (who also happened to be the driver). And the head of the crew was only concerned at the end of making sure all the paperwork was signed to cover themselves but takes no responsibility in leaving a piece of furniture behind on purpose.
I would dub the company, MOVING MOB for what they charged us. I would not pay $1 more to finish the move with them since they went way past the agreed amount and Failed to move all our items. They started the move at 10am and at 3pm. They were forced to stop due to the elevator breaking down. Once again they were advised that we had a move out window of 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. I would have preferred to hire a group of people from a nearby home improvement store and rent a moving truck myself then to hire this company which all they cared was to get paid and at the end get a tip for a Failed move. Do not use this company if you are moving out of a building!!!

Moving Squad of South Florida said that they give out a discount. The guys came, put the stuff and said that, “We give the $50 more discount and your deposit, so we’ll be back after the order has come.” I personally talked to the representative, with the supervisor and state all the papers but they said, “No, we cannot give you a discount.” So, I was pissed at first. That was not right. That was not a good customer service, and their manager was really rude. The people they sent who picked up stuff put them at a warehouse safely. Their movers did a good job. And that part was not a problem. The problem was when we asked a refund.
They said, “Oh, that’s not possible, because we haven’t done this and that.” They kept the whole $450. We were upset with giving us false information. He should’ve talked with me. He should’ve understood that English is my wife’s second language. But despite that she tried to prove her point. The manager didn’t give me opportunity to speak something. The representative needs to see us back. If they’re not gonna give us a refund, then they have to say, “No, we cannot make it. It's our policy."

I'm very, very disappointed in Moving Squad. In the beginning, they took me to Pompano which was great. I did have damage, but I know things happen, and that was okay. I understand that. But with my trip to New Hampshire, I was so misled thinking it was gonna cost me $2,000 when they came up with $8,000 that they said I had to pay. I've had to unpack my bed and throw stuff away because it was not explained to me how this process of the move was gonna be. I think they should have given me a discount. I've asked them, then we were just going around and around, and the rep just skated by everything I said. I asked them to give me some kind of a discount for my misled information, and no one has called me. Nothing has happened.
I ended up paying $5,000 and I had to undo my boxes because I didn't realize that the weight capacity was going to be that much. I just had them putting boxes and boxes thinking it was all okay. I would have never had a mover because everything that I moved, I could have brought brand new with $5,000. On top of that, they wanted me to pay for something I didn't even have. It was a horrible experience. They discounted $50 which was ridiculous. Had they compensated something to what had transpired, then I'd probably wouldn't have felt so bad. They still haven't even contacted me. I even used them twice and there is no compensation. That's not right. I'm very unhappy with the company and I'll never recommend them.

Every time I move, I've had a bad experience so I've had to try a new one every time. Based on their reviews online, I decided to acquire Moving Squad’s services. The moving staff coordinator was incompetent, eight times to get the proposal correct. But the actual movers were phenomenal. I'm gonna use them again and request the same group. I’d recommend them because even though the setup experience was painful the actual movers are really good.

The delivery and pick-up crew that we got from Moving Squad was on-time and quick. They wouldn’t let me lift a finger. They came, set it up and before we started moving stuff in they're like, “Where do you want everything, so we know." Then, they were done with everything in an hour. I love their services. Everything about them was great, except that it was expensive, especially, because you have to have like a minimum of three hours when it literally took them an hour. I paid $500 for a bed, a desk, a table with four chairs and an extra $30 for the TV. But actually, in comparison to everyone else, they were competitive. So when you think about it that way, then pricing is okay. Despite their pricing, I’d still recommend them.

The Moving Squad website was laid out well. The person who helped set everything up was right on top of everything, did a good inventory over the phone, and always got back. The delivery guys were right on time, knew exactly what to do, and they were in and out in less time than I thought it would take. Moving Squad did a fine job and I’d recommend them.

I couldn't be more satisfied with Moving Squad and I'd highly recommend them. I had a friendly, courteous, professional and quick moving coordinator. And my pick-up and delivery crew were superb as well. They were professional, courteous, fast, and helpful.

Moving Squad was local in Tamarac and every time I called, they answered the phone right away. They also always had the quote proper and it wasn't like some outrageous price. I didn't encounter any attitude either. They were professional. I was a little scared about my glass China cabinet but the crew wrapped everything good and nothing was banged up.

I had to use two moving companies back-to-back and Moving Squad was amazing. I had a pod mixed up and I had to get someone that day. And the guy who handles Moving Squad was really great. It was a really stressful thing but he made it not stressful.

Moving Squad gave me a good price and there was also someone who was assigned to be the representative who was on top of the details. I liked that too. The lead of the crew was very good as well. He was very careful, knowledgeable and clean. I could see the other two guys were not experienced but under this guy's supervision, it went well. They missed one thing in the very end though. There's one piece in one bed that they took down and they couldn’t put it back in. But it was one out of however many pieces they moved so it was nothing major.

Moving Squad has lower price compared to other companies but they guarantee the same quality. We discussed the items that were being moved, specifically the heavy ones, and the quantity and the weight based off that, as well as the amount of movers they were sending. We came up with a list of the items, how long it would take, upstairs, downstairs, and we added an extra hour on. The rep estimated about four hours, but we added on the fifth hour for if they carry over, for my protection. I didn’t wanna be charged an enormous amount. But in actuality, we only finished in three hours.
The moving crew came and knocked it out. They didn’t go out for coffee breaks outside and weren’t outside smoking. They weren’t discussing. One person was wrapping and moving, and the other three sitting outside. I had a four-person crew and they went in, grabbed everything that was needed, and walked out, loaded the truck up, got to the other house, and unloaded the truck exactly where my wife said. Even with the two dressers that had clothes in it that I told my kids to get the clothes out, they turned around and just wrapped it up with the clothes in there and brought it over. I said, “That adds an extra 60 pounds.” But they said, "No worries, we got it.” They’re people that do what they have to do.
