Moving Squad had very good reviews online and my mother used them before. I also used them one time about five years ago, so I'm a returning customer. I dealt with them online and it was quick. I was at work and the moving coordinator did everything very well. He asked me how many guys I would need and that if I wanted more it would take less. He explained everything, too and told me I could call and gave me his extension number for questions. Also, I have used movers where I’ve had to stand on top of them to get them to really move but the Moving Squad guys knew exactly what they were doing and didn’t slack at all. I was so happy with that and I would use them again.

Moving Squad came up on my Google search with a high rating, so I went with them. While I had a great experience with pickup and delivery crews who were professional and courteous, I did not like that the price that was quoted was not the one that they actually charged me. They ended up charging a lot more than what the quote was. It was a little disappointing because the services were phenomenal but the estimates were off. And I actually under-quoted the amount of items that were being transported. So if a friend asks me about them, I would tell them to expect a very high bill.

Moving Squad has a fast response time. I tried to deal with a different company before but they didn't come to my place on time and it got complicated. Everything was perfect with Moving Squad's reps except they arrived too early at my place and they had to wait for the elevator to be free because I only had it for the afternoon slot. I tried to fix it and it was complicated so I paid them for the waiting time.

EVERYTHING ARRIVED IN GOOD SHAPE. The cost was within 10% of the quoted telephone estimate. I had no problem with that as EVERYTHING arrived in good condition. Real pros, would recommend THE MOVING SQUAD to anyone.

I needed to move quickly and I thought I could trust the property manager. He said he knew two companies, one of which was Moving Squad, but he was misled by them. I've lived in Palm Beach County all my life. I've usually had people from church or family and I never had a deal with somebody like Moving Squad. They are con artists who pulled a bait-and-switch and they bamboozled me.

Moving Squad of South Florida has what I needed to move and the moving coordinator was wonderful. Marcia did an appointment for me for moving, reserved the elevator and packed all the papers they needed to pack. Everything was moved and she did everything she needed to do. There was a little delay in the morning with the pickup and delivery crew but it was on-time. Overall, it was a wonderful, smooth and nice experience. I love it and I’ll use it again.

Their pickup and delivery crew were on time and got everything wrapped up quickly and taken to the storage unit. They were good and everything went smoothly with them. However, they wheel wagon-ed my very expensive Ralph Lauren round dining room table rather than carrying it. The damage is expected but it was something that could have been avoided. I'm a real estate agent and my clients chose the Moving Squad. They’re near to us and it’s near the place we were going to move to. They gave us a quote but they charged an extra $200 later. They never said they're going to charge for the extra boxes.The moving guy gave me 30 boxes even after telling him that I didn’t need that much. We only used 13 boxes and returned the extra 17 boxes to him but they still charged me for the 30. The guy was very nice though and set out everything, and the delivery crew came in on time.

The first time I went with them was because I have so many shoes and they wrapped it up all nicely. It was systematic. I really do care about my Jordans. My moving coordinator was great. I was just trying to move down as much as I can but he was nice. I wouldn't have chosen them if they weren't professional and courteous. The pick-up and delivery crew were on time as well. Lastly, there's only one knock I have on all those boxes. And that knock is every time I move, they're going to give me a customer appreciation, like lower the bill a little bit. That's the only thing because probably when I move again next year, I'm going to call them again if I always use a "customer appreciation". Overall, Moving Squad is excellent.

I picked up a Moving Squad brochure where I was moving to and they said they were experts in moving apartments so I got them. I emailed the moving coordinator then, we set up a call, and right away, we walked through the house because the house was listed. She saw all the pictures and gave me a quote through that. I ran her down my situation because they had to keep my stuff overnight and she said that wouldn't be a problem.

We used Moving Squad a year ago for a move on Miami Beach and it went fairly well. This time around that was not the case. The movers broke an expensive glass table, dragged wrapped furniture on the concrete until it ripped and damaged the contents (wood), broke flower pots (3), white upholstered king sized bed dragged on the floor leaving it completely filthy on its sides and edges, broke/scratched up 3 wooden chaise lounge chairs and even managed to drag a high-end picnic table on the floor leaving the edges and sides damaged. At one point part of the crew started arguing with each other using profanity back and forth and I had to tell one of them (Shawn) to get out of my home. There are pictures of all of this to document this disaster of a move, some which I uploaded here. Unfortunately, cents on the dollar reimbursement offers for quality furnishings isn't acceptable especially when it's due negligence and not accidental.

Moving Squad had a brochure up at the office and when I contacted them, the rep was accurate on the cost which I appreciated. They movers also worked well with me as far as moving the furniture.

Moving Squad was recommended to us. Everything was on time but they were late on the last pick up. And we had to call Moving Squad and ask where they were. The dispatch center told us, "We don't know where they are. We'll try and reach them and ask them where they are and get back to you." But they didn't. I had to around a country club looking for them. I finally found them and they were rather late. They didn't even indicate that they were there. They were just standing at the back of the building waiting for us. There was no way I would have known they were there had I not ran around the building. So, that was kind of annoying. Other than that, everything was good.

We had used another moving company when we moved to Florida. I called the number again for our move but because it was local, they directed me to Moving Squad. Their moving coordinator was nice and good. They took the time to go over everything in the move and how many boxes it should take. They were very helpful.

I was closing on one house on a Thursday and opening another one on a Friday. I needed to move my furniture and belongings, and Moving Squad seemed to be the most reasonable moving company and one of the people there was sincere on the phone. However, I didn't feel too good about the estimate being off. They were to keep my things inside their truck overnight, and the person I was talking to gave a $125 estimate which was fine with me. It only took them an hour and forty minutes to load up the truck so it was very easy. Then they came back the next day and it took them an hour and fifteen minutes to unload the truck. It took a little longer to put the bedroom set together, but all in all, it's still way under three hours.

The moving coordinators were pretty knowledgeable and accommodating of our schedule. He was responsive and he gave back the quotes pretty quickly. The crew was also very helpful and courteous. They're also very fast and they took really good care of all of our stuff, so we were really appreciative of that, when they stored it and then when they delivered it. There was also a follow-up call at the very end to see how our experience went. And the good thing is they kept with whatever they quoted. They're really good. I would recommend them.

Moving Squad underestimated my move and original quote by half - they didn't show up until after 1 o'clock and didn't get us moved to our new LOCAL location (less than 3 miles away) until after 9 at night and had to call in EXTRA help. Of course the price doubled and they informed us as the loaded truck was in our driveway - very disappointed in their whole company. They left us with missing parts to assemble a table THEY left apart. When we called them 3 times to complain - we got an "Ok - we will look into this and get back to you." Still waiting for the call back - very bad all the way around.

I used the Moving Squad to move some stuff from Miami to South Beach. I sent the coordinator a picture of my stuff and he sent me a quote after that and we decided together the date of the moving. They came on Thursday to pick up and they delivered on Friday. However, one of the guys broke a mirror table. It was tricky because he made me sign a paper, informed me that I will be contacted by the manager for the insurance but they never did. I'm disappointed by Moving Squad and I won't take them anymore.

I spoke with their moving coordinator several times and he was able to absorb what needed to be done and was responsive with answering any questions I had and what the estimated cost would be as well as the time. It was two offices of storage units and a residence the things had to be taken to. But they were very good at that. Moving Squad was a referral from a friend. Marsha, the coordinator, was absolutely wonderful. She had scheduled three men to come out for two hours and I was quoted $425 which was cheaper than having two guys come out for three hours, so she was trying to find me the best rate possible. That was quick and painless. The guys showed up and they were great and absolutely wonderful but there were two of them and they ended up taking about three hours which is obviously longer than the two hours that the girl had adjusted the time for because there were some issues.

We went from one side of Florida to the other side, and they got there a little bit before and waited for us. There wasn’t a ton for them to unload during delivery, but whatever they did, they put in the right rooms and moved some stuff around. I would definitely recommend them.

We started around 8:00 and the following noon, everything was ready to go. They offloaded very quickly. Towards the very end, one gentleman tried to get a higher tip, but it wasn't a serious thing. He was just trying to see if he could get more money. Overall, it was a stress-free experience. Moving Squad handled it all and did it very quickly. People should get them a look if they're doing a regional move in South Florida. They're worth it.

Moving Squad's moving coordinator asked me about the square footage, how many boxes, and how much furniture or room. I explained what I wanted and he said he'd give me an estimate based on that. The move was efficient and timely and they did a really nice job. However, we were rushed at the end because my building had a rule that they have to be done by 5:00 and we were very close on that time. But they were nice and courteous and I was very satisfied with that. I have moved a few times and it's not always the same experience. The cost was good as well. I was trying to save cost so I packed the majority of things myself.

I came across Moving Squad and it was great that they seem to have a lot of very current, positive reviews. I then called them and had a nice conversation with their rep in setting up my move. They were really professional and pleasant all around. The pickup and delivery were great and they were fast and very nice. It was a very uneventful, drama-free few hours. They moved my stuff from a storage unit to my new apartment and took only two and a half hours to do the whole thing. It was lightning speed. It was a really positive experience since I know what it's like to have a very negative experience with a moving company. They're fantastic and I highly recommend using them.

Everything was good with Moving Squad except that they were in a wrong location to begin with and almost an hour late when they came. I think somebody thought we are in Plantation, but we are in Fort Lauderdale. That's why they were late. It wasn't their fault because somebody told them incorrectly. They did a good job moving and we might have another job for them later on when we are emptying our house.

Then we had a hard time getting into one of the storage units and moving into the other one, but the pick-up and delivery crew were real patient about that. There was some time spent and the guys just made the best of it. They kept working, both really good, friendly, and I like them a lot. They were nice and very professional. It worked out very well.

After setting up the schedule, their rep would help me contact my building and everything moved along. The moving coordinator had a lot of the buildings and a lot of the condos in Miami have previous listings. When we saw that old condo, she was able to find the pictures of the old listing. So, she could tell pretty much everything that had to be moved and working with her was good, very quick and efficient. The actual movers were good too. They were pretty straightforward and did everything they had to do. I'm very happy with the service I got and Moving Squad did a pretty good job. They estimated the number of hours and that was exactly the number of hours that was needed.

They were the best company in the market that I could find and they were also the most flexible with time because I needed to move right away. We waited for the boxes for some time but it was fine. The moving coordinator was also very kind and very knowledgeable, and the fact that Moving Squad has many trucks and they have been in business for a while, were among the reasons I chose them. I also liked that the employees weren't temporary or drifter-type people. They are employees of the company that were doing the move. They were a lot different than some of the companies that I've used in the past that didn't hire regular employees.

The moving coordinator attempted to explain to me everything that they would be doing and that they would try to help me out as much as possible, which they did. He really talked me through the entire process so it was good having them. I had 4 guys for the move and they were fast and very helpful. They were also on time, very professional, and very courteous. If I do move in the future, I would definitely use Moving Squad again and would request the exact same guys. I liked that Moving Squad had a local office. I also like my moving coordinator a lot. She was excellent - very friendly and very helpful. And the price was too low for me with the boxes, a bedroom set, and a couple of other bookshelves. The delivery team was also amazing. I had a crew of three guys who were quick and professional. They were done packing in a little over 2 hours. I had rented 2 pods because I wasn't sure if everything was gonna fit in one but they were able to fit everything in one pod. I've moved a lot and I'm just sorry that I didn't sign up sooner with Moving Squad. I had an excellent experience with them. They were flexible with everything from setting the move. I had to change the date of when I needed them to come by because of my schedule, and that worked out fine. The guys were also on time and called me when they were on their way. They were careful which was really important to make sure that my stuff was not damaged.

The delivery people were very professional and fast. Overall, Moving Squad was easy to do business with, and I didn't have any issues. It was convenient and effective.

Moving Squad knew the job. It was a short distance move so I took my car and they followed me in the truck. It was quick work and they also were professional. It was a good experience until the end. Everything was quoted and I was going to give them $20 but they appeared upset with that. They said it's Saturday and that is nothing. It has to be at least $60. I'm not experienced with that kind of move, so in the end I gave them $50 extra and they left. I will recommend their company to a friend. The only thing is that I will tell my friend that they have to agree with them how much is going to be the final cost for them not to have the same experience I had.

I called different people and the guy at Moving Squad was very friendly. I wasn’t ready to move, but he kept calling every week to be updated and would send me email so I thought he was genuine and a concerned person. In all that time, he told me that they would bring boxes for me to put my belongings in and they would use some kind of fancy wrap that they use to wrap the things they have to move to make sure they have space. Then, two weeks before, he decided that there was a $50 down payment, which he never told me. I decided I’d just give the $50 and shut up, but by then I did not trust him anymore.

For the combination of availability and the price as well as the professional approach, I opted to go with the Moving Squad. The pick-up and delivery crew were polite, professional, and very efficient. It was an overall a good service.

The pricing was not realistic with Moving Squad. I look at the pricing and I think they're overcharging and I probably paid a little bit more over. In the process someone should come over home and then should do the actual. They don't see the product so they just over put the price. That’s not very professional. They need to get a better price and then customer will be happier, so the people will trust. But the job is done, the team was wonderful and they’re all friendly, helpful and professional. The delivery guys all worked very well and did it very carefully. They contacted me and informed me that they're coming and going, so that's good. I’m very happy about them.

Moving Squad was excellent. I have no complaints about anything except that they kind of messed up the wall unit that they moved that had electrical in it. But I don't think they realized it so when somebody called me, I told them about it. They told me they were going to email me to do a survey but I didn’t know how to do it so I just didn’t do anything. But it's not a big deal and my handyman can put it back together in no time. When my mom called to get some quotes, she enjoyed talking to the girl who works for Moving Squad. They hit it off really well and she felt very comfortable with her. I had also seen the truck around town a few times so we felt pretty good going with them. My mom said that the moving coordinator was really sweet and very informative. I also spoke to another girl named Christina and she said their quote may be a little high but it can come in lower. Indeed, the foreman on the job that day saw that there wasn't much to move as they assumed and he got me a lower rate, which was great. He knew how to direct the movers, what should go on the trucks first, and how to maneuver. Everyone that we encountered has been very professional. I kept offering water to drink since it was really hot but they politely refused saying they have their own.

Overall, Moving Squad of South Florida did a really good job. Nothing broke which is always a plus. They weren't on time but it wasn't their fault. It was raining and they called and told me that they were running late. However, towards the end, they kept talking about getting their tip and I was put off by that. This is my fourth move in one year and I always tip at the end but when I paid my bill and didn't give a tip, they didn't finish putting the beds and the other things together. We tipped them anyway but I still felt that was not very nice.

But something was wrong with the computer when they sent it and they didn’t know exactly what it was. They had to resend it, which was not a huge deal. It was $400 cheaper than Two Men and a Truck, and they said they’d bring four people instead of three for six hours of work, so I decided to go with them. They were fast, professional and it was a good experience overall.

I showed them the first time they came in that the washing machine is gonna be moved but then I forgot to remind them with all the mess and they also forgot. I then needed to make another appointment so that they would come again just to move the washing machine and I paid extra for it.

Everything was ready to go and the move was only a mile from the origin to the destination. It was a very hot day. My wife and I left for the other location, after seeing them load their truck and come over. They worked very hard and after a while, they had most of the stuff in the house and everything seemed to be going okay. I said that we're missing a refrigerator and a bedroom set. They said they didn't want to put it on the truck and were going back to get it. I thought that was unusual.

Moving Squad was recommended by a friend of mine, but I don’t know if I would choose them again. Apparently my move was supposed to be the first one in the morning, but I didn’t get them till later. They were also very expensive in general. I didn't like them changing the price quote towards the end. The moving guys were nice and very professional but there was a couple of mishaps where a guy almost got into an accident and fell off the cart. He could’ve been seriously hurt, but luckily he wasn’t. Also, a very expensive armoire that they put on literally fell off. When I saw them coming down the ramp, it literally started tilting one way and they just lost control of it. It got all scratched up in the front. The owner gave the crew a hard time making me feel very uncomfortable. The workers picked up the slack on his behalf and he’s lucky to have them. Also when they picked up, they were talking about extra charges to which I said no way.

I dealt with Moving Squad before and it was an excellent experience. The moving coordinator was great, very helpful and understanding. The only issue was when I’ve talked to the first coordinator over the phone, I didn’t really understand the pricing. But it was fine once I got to understand it, because I didn’t really have that much stuff to move. The delivery crew was very friendly and interactive, and the service was excellent. It was an outstanding experience.

The two drivers from the Moving Squad, the ones that loaded and unloaded, were great. They were on time and worked their butts off. I was very pleased with the speed and efficiency in the way they loaded. The moving coordinator was very great on the phone as far as I explained what I had, he wrote it down, quoted a price, went back and forth and I confirmed with them if it's a flat rate and they said yes. However when it came time at the end they tried to get more out of me. They tried to say, “Oh no, you had more.” So there was a little confusion there and I was very upset about that. But I stood my ground and refused to pay. I didn't realize that person who made the deal with me didn't have the authority to promise me a flat rate no matter what.

I was happy that Moving Squad came to the house to do everything. For our move, I interviewed two different companies and went to their websites. Before I chose I also went to ConsumerAffairs and Consumer Reports. The other company we’re considering got terrible, terrible ratings. Moving Squad on the other hand was very highly rated and had a tremendous amount of good reviews on Consumer Reports. So that really clinched it for me. Because my husband had talked to somebody on the phone who was very good, helpful, and informative. We interviewed three different people and what made the difference was going on to Consumer Reports.

They were very supportive and very helpful. They did their job very well. All in all, it was a great experience. I would recommend and use them again which is probably in about six months.

The company neglected my business, a 1 bedroom apartment and a motorcycle (no large furniture). I had to chase down the supervisor Mr. ** during three days after moving to find out where my motorcycle was despite of the initial commitment (made weeks before) of moving everything the same day. My motorcycle (that was the very first thing we discussed when I hired your business) was being delivered 4 days after what we agreed. The time I wasted both personal and professional during those days chasing down my motorcycle isn't quantifiable. Mr. ** couldn't tell me enough excuses and lies during those days. Initial quote 1.2K, finally paid 1.5K, lost two days of work. Never received a call, a discount or a refund, an apology. How would you feel?

I called other companies to get other bids. A guy from American Van Lines came down and wanted me to buy crates and a $300 or $400 worth of packing supplies, etc. I didn’t like him. And then there was another company. I called Better Business and they told me, "Don’t call them back. They're very, very bad." They also said they don’t show up at the time they're supposed to. Then I called Moving Squad and I liked the way they talked. Gomez who was the rep I spoke with was a very personal guy.

Moving Squad made it smooth and easy for me. I had no issues at all. The owner was really informative. He told me everything outright straight up and I liked that. The pickup and delivery crew were on time and they were very professional. They also kept with the price they quoted me.

They're also very accommodating and understanding of my special circumstances when we couldn't get into the gate at my new place. And even if they had to move everything from storage for me, they worked very well and got everything very quickly. I was happy with their services this time.

Moving Squad's biggest problem is that they put the onus on the consumer who's least experienced to create the estimate while other companies came out and created the estimate. The estimate was off significantly in terms of the amount of time it was going to take. The guys were fine, but when they arrived, they didn't have enough boxes. It took them about as long to pack as we estimated, but when we arrived, it took them much longer to unload and this was an easy unload. They had to travel, and I don't think that it was estimated in because when they realized how many hours they were traveling, they just started to dump things and ran. The garage was dumped full of things, which I'm still trying to sort through. Moving Squad would not be a company I would use again. It was disappointing and I haven't gotten back to them because I just don't want to deal with them anymore.

Moving Squad has a better price compared to others. My daughter goes to school down in Miami so this is my second time using them. They pick up her stuff and take it to some storage and when she returns to school, they pick up her stuff again and deliver it back to the dorm room. They always call prior to them arriving and they're always prompt. They're definitely professional. My overall experience is excellent.

The lady from Moving Squad that I spoke to was very detailed - she explained everything. The cost and time period wasn't quoted in the price. I didn't have that much furniture and most of the stuff was already packed so they only had to put blankets over it - it was done within six hours. The movers were pretty friendly and if there was anything I wanted done in my way, they did it like so. Provided that it was safely done for them, they complied with my instructions - that pleased me.

The customer service guy named William from Moving Squad was very helpful, walked me through every step of the way, and was awesome. There were four guys at pickup and three guys during drop-off. They were ahead of time and were awesome all the way. Those guys were professional and knew what they were doing like the way they were stacking items. We only got one glass that was broken, but that was nothing. Everything was okay.

They asked a few questions - the size of it, how many bedrooms, whether or not there was gonna be boxed. The pickup and delivery crew was on time. They work within the estimated time and cost. I’ve used movers before and all of a sudden there’s another charge here and there and that was not the case with Moving Squad.
