Worst moving experience of my entire life and I have moved plenty. Some details from our experience:
- They had no tools so I had to lend them my own tools to take things apart or I had to take it apart myself.
- A move that should have taken only 1 day took 2 full days because they were so disorganized. This ended up costing us an additional $1400 for a second day.
- The first day the movers didn’t bring any drinks for themselves. We had to supply them with cases of water and Gatorade.
- Several pieces of furniture were damaged including a brand new patio set, new treadmill, broken leg off an armchair.
- Both the house we moved out of the the house we moved into sustained damage to walls, floors, doors and stairs due to negligence.
- The attitudes of the workers were negative with comments about how we had too many couches and that certain items should not go upstairs.
- A firepit table was badly damaged and they spilled all the glass stones out of it and left them on the sidewalk.
- Our kitchen table was not reassembled, just placed on top the legs and when we went to move it, the top nearly fell off.
- The moving team tried to steal our pizza oven. I found it hidden in a box under some blankets in the back of the truck. When I asked where it was they said they never loaded a pizza oven.
- We spent $3400 to get horrendous service, two damaged houses and a lot of beat up furniture. Don't ever use this company.
- When contacted, Monster Moving over no support to resolve our issues.

The wife and I moved back up to Massachusetts after only lasting 2 years in Florida. Our last movers were the worst ever so we gave Monster Movers a chance. They had their own trucks and uniforms and contactless billing which was great. Furniture was well taken care of despite our dings from the last van line we hired. Ask for Ann to give you a great rate.

Hi, I hired Monster Movers to move me from the south end to south Boston. The crew took off the railings at my apt and got everything down my four flight walk up easily. They stored my stuff overnight at their warehouse in the dead of winter and all the furniture arrived safely with moving blankets and shrink wrap. The office was responsive and the portal was easy to use for contactless billing. I would recommend these guys to anyone looking for Boston movers.

There are many scams right now that my friends have faced when relocating out of state. I have heard horror stories and overall am so glad we chose Monster Movers for our move from Jacksonville FL up to Asheville NC. The price was similar to a van line but the service surpassed any experience I have had or heard of. Communication and the moving helpers were professional from start to finish.
