They provided an initial quote that was far lower than what I ended up paying. Be prepared for unexpected charges that don't match your original quote. Despite promises from multiple representatives that I would receive reimbursement for the increased costs or initial installment, those assurances were later denied by other staff members, leaving me in a frustrating and confusing situation.

I was also given delivery windows that were completely disregarded, leaving me without my belongings for far longer than expected. Throughout the entire process, I found myself having to spend additional money and make alternate arrangements due to the company's failure to deliver as agreed. Overall, my experience with this company was extremely frustrating. If you're considering using their services, I would strongly recommend exploring other options to avoid the stress and confusion I faced. Their lack of transparency, poor customer service, and failure to meet commitments should be a red flag for potential customers.

HEADS UP - my wife had bought 2 GPS trackers and put them in the furniture. Since this was not what the original plan was, she was suspicious and checked the trackers. They had stopped moving so she drove to find them. Pulled up to see "the team" just finishing unloading into a mini warehouse across town. We told them they could put everything BACK into the truck before or after we called the police for theft. I located a climate control in our town, made them drive there and offload the truck. (My mistake was watching from in front of the building, not standing in the unit watching every move) When they finished that, we were still playing along that they would come back and complete the move. They then returned to the house basically to pick up their equipment and then they vanished into the wind.

Fast forward to August 2024. Finally got renovations complete on our new house and called Two Men & A Truck again. As they pulled furniture out of the "Dedicated/RM" unit they showed me a couple of chairs that were broken when thrown on top of other furniture. And pointed out boxes that showed crushed corners also looking like they'd been tossed around. We've now spent the last few days opening boxes, finding heirloom china shattered into bits, broken lamps that MAY be able to be repaired. So I'm taking a break to warn anyone who may be considering using Dedicated - they are ONLY dedicated to taking your money.

We thoroughly went over the list again with Eric. We wanted to make sure we had the right pricing!! On the day of pick up, the movers who are not Dedicated Van Lines but from a company called Quality Moving then added another $1500 to our moving costs. That was AFTER much debating which got heated with Saad the Foreman. I so wish at that moment we would’ve just took the loss and delay in our moving process and refused to use them!!

There was not one item over what we listed (a matter fact we even took some items away to try to save money as they promised if it was under we’d be refunded) small writing on contract says the final cost goes by square feet. But it is unacceptable because the movers don’t have any accountability to pack the truck properly to ensure proper square footage. Also on the pick up day the movers called to say their truck broke down and they had to wait to get a replacement truck. But they said the good news was they were only an hour and a half away. Later they called to say they got the truck but there was traffic and they were 3 hours away. (All this a huge inconvenience I had a terrible headache and no where to lay my head as we had EVERYTHING packed up waiting to load the truck)

We checked the route they were taking to our house and there were no back ups reported. All of this deceitfulness just continued throughout the process. At 1 am the guys were shouting and cursing and THROWING things in the truck!!! They were tired and fed up and Saad who was the foreman DID NOT instruct them at all!!! They had loaded the truck from our garage but didn’t even load our big table from our shed. Saad never informed them. They then refused to take the table. They were supposed to pack things around the table (had they been informed by Saad the foreman) and now would have to move things around and of course didn’t want to. Another long debate followed til the helpers insured Saad they could make it work.

I could write so much more but I don’t have enough room. I will just say Saad from Quality Moving was completely unprofessional and disrespectful to us! Cursing and yelling at us and his hired help (hired from Craigslist btw as one of the helpers told me they never worked with Saad before and he found them on craigslist)

When the time came for delivery it was the same experience. Saad tried to charge us more for storage than in our contract. He continued with the arguing till we demanded to talk to his supervisor. I have screenshots of texts where he promised to be there Friday. We got no response from Saad or anyone from Dedicated Van Lines. We had NOTHING in our home EVERYTHING we owned was in their possession. We had to pay out of pocket to sleep Friday night at a hotel. Saad called me Friday night to say they’d be there Saturday morning. I said

I could never get ahold of Dedicated Van Lines either by phone or text, I was blocked. I couldn’t afford another $900 so my really nice patio furniture had to be left behind. This company stored my belongings at their “storage facility.” They then had yet another moving company take my belongings to Omaha Nebraska almost a month later and that company wanted another $1650 plus another $75 (the driver) for the blankets. When he opened the sliding door and I saw my belongings, I was appalled at how my belongings were in this truck.

All smashed and broken boxes were stacked to the top of the truck, my China smashed, my $6000 mattresses were not longer wrapped in plastic and were covered in grease. My couch and recliner were taken apart and the arms were missing and heavy things stacked on top of them. They were all ripped and my dining room table stolen, boxes of personal items stolen, other tables all scratched and legs missing. All kinds of stuff broken. My total paid out to all 3 moving companies was $4500. The worst experience of my life. I filed a claim with the second moving company and they went out of business the day their insurance company sent them their quote. I have hired an attorney and filed a lawsuit against Dedicated Van Lines. So far the “owner” Ryan isn’t responding. Whatever you do don’t hire Dedicated Van Lines, they are a total scam.

It has been since 6 months since the move, I have been emailing then every 2 weeks for any update on the compensation, but they hardly reply! The last response from Ryan ** from Dedicated Van lines on 27th November 2023 was "R&M transportation has been unresponsive. Will do our best to continue to reach them." I have attached the screenshot of the email communications. Before the move, dedicated van lines will be constantly in touch with regarding the move, their customer service agents would be excellent. But once the move has been completed, they will not respond to any of your queries!

Also "R&M transportation" are not professional movers. On the day of the move, just 2 people initially showed up for the move and then they contacted 3 random local helpers in the area. All three of them were not professional at all! During the move, one of those helpers stepped on my 65 inch OLED TV while packing the TV! I was in total shock how can someone do that. Thankfully though when the move was completed, the TV wasn't damaged! I was fine with a third party movers being involved in the move! However if an item is lost in the transit, neither the 3rd party nor Dedicated Van lines take responsibility for the move!! DONOT BOOK THESE MOVERS!

Had he been honest, I would have never gone with Dedicated! Promises after promises! Doesn’t respond to texts or calls the day of pick up to discuss the extra $3000 when he said “I’m your personal go to so call me with any issues” and then hides from texts/calls all day when you need him. Degrading too to some of my texts! Beware!!! I don’t write reviews but this was necessary so someone else doesn’t go through this! I’d be happy to share my texts from him and pictures of my broken stuff. Oh and not to mention missing items! Do not go with Dedicated or Quality Movers! Date of experience: October 30, 2023
