PublicRecords.Info is a devious scam. While they do produce information, their website is deceptive regarding what you will be charged. You ask for a $1 report and print it out and you find charges on your credit card for an additional $18, $7 and $5 for supposed other services. They use small print to mislead you on what you are receiving. PublicRecords.Info is probably the most deceitful info search engine out there. In order to get a refund, had to search online for a phone number. When I contacted their customer service, had to threaten to contact the Federal Trade Commission to get a partial refund. AVOID.

They don't tell you when you make your initial purchase that it's a subscription. And then the charges start coming in. $1 then $17 for the detailed report. Then another $5 x 4 and $20. Save your money and frustration, go through an official government site. Less than a star. yes the young lady was nice and canceled my account. How many other people are they scamming and how much $$$$$ are they making by doing so. Hopefully everyone that left a review below received their refund. I see their response to all reviews is the same: "If you haven't received your refund yet, please contact us at support@publicrecords.info and put ‘Refund’ in the subject line. We will immediately refund your order."

I am very pleased with your service. The results were very clear, well presented, accurate and extra information. The representative tended to my needs and fulfilled them successfully. She answered all my questions and gave detailed insight to where I had full understanding of the process to where if I wanted to recommend other people of interest I can. I wish there was a way to give all the information without multiple charges or addition to add on for specific information. But I guess many inquires of people don't require to have that many carveouts of information needed for whatever they are seeking.

The individual who answered my request was very courteous, quick and informative. I think there should be more people like Ryan doing this type of jobs. Wanting to make some changes to my property for the residential Home Owners Association I needed the record of ownership for my property only. Not needing any other property records I wanted to cancel my account. I was graciously helped by Debra who took care of my needs and canceled the account.

When signing up for the service, I was in such a hurry for the info I didn't read the fine print that stated I was signing up for a service that included the dreaded "reoccurring charges". Upon seeing a new charge that I wasn't expecting to see on my bank statement I messaged the company via their online chat and was quickly connected to Donna. I explained the situation and she immediately took care of the situation and cancelled my account, No fuss, no high pressure sales tactics which I REALLY appreciated. Thanks Donna!!

I didn’t realize I had signed up for a package but as soon as I reached out Donna helped right away and provided a confirmation for the refund. And was also able to cancel my account so it wouldn’t happen again. Thank you. I would recommend this company to others but to pay attention to what you’re signing up for and that it meets your needs.

I was not informed that I was being signed up for a monthly billing. Apparently my account has not been cancelled, but this is a scam. This site provides good information but then tries to scam the customer.

My credit card had declined a $30.00 charge from this company as suspected fraudulent activity and I was alerted to contact the company. After realizing this website does not have a menu in which you can make account changes or cancellations, I decided to use their live chat service. Mary was quick to respond and she helped me make sure my account was closed and all payment information was removed from the database. Can't ask for better than that!

Hello, On July 4th I wanted to look up one property for, what I thought would be a one dollar charge. I just looked at my credit card bill, and there was a charge for $1 dollar and also, a charge for $30 dollars. So I contacted the chat line, and the person there stated that I had inadvertently applied for a Volume amount which is why I received the bill for $30 dollars. The person said that they would credit me back the $30 dollars.

It says free. I did not enter any billing information looking up once person. I had charges deducted from my checking account. Of course not expecting, I did not notice until it was too late to reverse with my bank. No account set up on the site, trying to cancel the subscription that I never set-up so I'm not charged again. This is horrible. How do they have the right to even know my banking information not alone charge unauthorized charges for services not rendered? Not to mention I use a reputable VPN, so how does this happen? And why is it allowed by our government for companies like this to operate, ripping consumers off??

I needed to check criminal records and this site was absolutely the fastest, most accurate and hassle free! Other sites are just too overwhelming and take almost 30 minutes to prepare a report. Public records had my report ready in minutes! It also asks you "what you are mainly looking for and gives you a wide selection in the drop box to click on specifically what you are seeking, instead of a barrage of unneeded info like other sites.

I looked up info on estate disbursement record and it was pretty easy to find. Also looked up Property Record and that also was very easy to do. The info and pictures of the property I looked up was thorough and there were 32 pictures of the property and home. I was very pleased.
