The site was extremely helpful to gather the information I was searching for. I needed to cancel the service as I no longer needed the package. It was done through live chat and quick and easy. Customer contact was far easier and more fluid than others I have had to deal with.

I am pleasantly surprised by the help I got today by Sharon who canceled my inadvertent subscription and refunded me. She was super helpful. I saw charges on my credit card and I didn’t recognize. I went to your site to use a one time search for one dollar and I find out the next day that I’m charged for $20 subscription. I called service and got Nicholas to help me and he canceled my subscription. While I’m not crazy about the misunderstanding of the subscription, Nicholas was very helpful and expedient about resolving my issue. 10 out of 10.

I was not happy with this service. I requested divorce records from California and was given someone's criminal records in Texas. Maybe I misunderstood your services, but this was rather disappointing and the money wasted.

I was able to find the name and address of someone who previously had the same phone number as mine. I have been receiving at least 4 phone calls a month for several years and I now have a contact to work with to resolve the issue. I didn't realize I was paying for an ongoing subscription but once I learned that it was easy to cancel. The customer service rep quickly resolved the issue.

Helen was great in providing assistance today. The main issue is that I originally ordered one report and somehow was added to a monthly subscription (of $20) that I never signed up for. If there is some “small print” on your website that “inadvertently” does this, I suggest using that and making it clear what customers are actually ordering. Thanks.

Customer support was fantastic. Unfortunately this site automatically charged my account $80 without my knowledge. I didn’t notice it until I received my bank statement. When I originally requested information from PublicRecords.info, I apparently signed up for a subscription account, and the site has charged me a monthly fee for several months. My account did not have a subscription cancellation option that I could find. I finally was able to have the account cancelled via a chat session. The chat assistant, Ashley, was able to cancel my account without any reluctance, so I appreciate her assistance.

It was okay to check Publicrecords. The problem is when deactivating account. They charge for subscriptions. Even after I asked to have it canceled I was charged 4 times $20. They finally deactivated it with no refund.

Easy site to manage and easy to capture and retain information. Recently closed account seamlessly and got a refund for a month of extended access which was not clear when I signed up. This is a monthly service so be aware of that when you sign up. My experience was this is a great service overall when inquiring about public records.

I was unhappy about having been charged an unauthorized ongoing monthly fee after using (and paying for) the site one time. It also seem suspect, that you can't access your account info to even see what 'subscription' is in place. However, I accessed Support via chat and the rep there very efficiently cleared up the issue & issued a refund for the bogus charge.

There was a misunderstanding when making transactions but I was helped quickly and efficiently and still was able to receive what I paid for. I was looking for documentation about the women who killed my mother so I can build a court case against the system that is saying that it was a suicide and the whole situation was quite frustrating but I am glad that everything was figured out quickly.

Not a great site. Little info gathered on most people. Easily forgotten site and it then racks up the charges. Not worth the monthly fee. I recommend using social media to try and find people. It will provide more information.

This is an absolute scam! You think you are paying for one record and they start hitting your credit card every 2 weeks for the "bundle access." The rep could not even explain what the "bundle access" is. They will gladly refund if you call because they know they are committing credit card fraud. They hope you won't notice, but the minute you call them out, they'll play innocent and "close your account." I was on the phone with a rep just now and could hear multiple other agents in the background on other calls for refunds.

I signed up to get an address for a former employee. I was hit with 17.95 in charges when I thought I was being charged 1.00 for a single use. Then I was hit with another 9.95 monthly fee. None of this is explained when you originally sign up. I nice lady name Patricia was able to close out my account and refund the 9.95 monthly fee although I am still out the 16.95 from my first usage.

This is not an accurate place to get vital statistics. I got five different charges within one day because I was inquiring as to how to get a copy of a marriage license. I finally found it through my own state bureau of vital statistics. However, I discovered on my credit card that there were five charges from this publicrecords.info and I finally got a phone number to call them from my Citibank. When I called four different times they hung up on me. After they answered finally on the 5th try I got through to someone who talked to me and said oh I had a subscription and they would cancel it no problem and I asked for the refund and they said no problem and I said, "Don't you need to know what the charges are?" And they said, "No. We can see them on here." And so I said, "Well cancel anything you've got. Please refund all my charges." You have to go through that process in order to get your money back and get them to stop. This is really a disgusting trap.

PublicRecords.Info is a devious scam. While they do produce information, their website is deceptive regarding what you will be charged. You ask for a $1 report and print it out and you find charges on your credit card for an additional $18, $7 and $5 for supposed other services. They use small print to mislead you on what you are receiving. PublicRecords.Info is probably the most deceitful info search engine out there. In order to get a refund, had to search online for a phone number. When I contacted their customer service, had to threaten to contact the Federal Trade Commission to get a partial refund. AVOID.

They don't tell you when you make your initial purchase that it's a subscription. And then the charges start coming in. $1 then $17 for the detailed report. Then another $5 x 4 and $20. Save your money and frustration, go through an official government site. Less than a star. yes the young lady was nice and canceled my account. How many other people are they scamming and how much $$$$$ are they making by doing so. Hopefully everyone that left a review below received their refund. When signing up for the service, I was in such a hurry for the info I didn't read the fine print that stated I was signing up for a service that included the dreaded "reoccurring charges". Upon seeing a new charge that I wasn't expecting to see on my bank statement I messaged the company via their online chat and was quickly connected to Donna. After realizing this website does not have a menu in which you can make account changes or cancellations, I decided to use their live chat service. Hello, On July 4th I wanted to look up one property for, what I thought would be a one dollar charge. I just looked at my credit card bill, and there was a charge for $1 dollar and also, a charge for $30 dollars. So I contacted the chat line, and the person there stated that I had inadvertently applied for a Volume amount which is why I received the bill for $30 dollars. The person said that they would credit me back the $30 dollars.

It says free. I did not enter any billing information looking up once person. I had charges deducted from my checking account. Of course not expecting, I did not notice until it was too late to reverse with my bank. No account set up on the site, trying to cancel the subscription that I never set-up so I'm not charged again. This is horrible. How do they have the right to even know my banking information not alone charge unauthorized charges for services not rendered? Not to mention I use a reputable VPN, so how does this happen? And why is it allowed by our government for companies like this to operate, ripping consumers off??

I needed to check criminal records and this site was absolutely the fastest, most accurate and hassle free! Other sites are just too overwhelming and take almost 30 minutes to prepare a report. The document is good. Some things that were provided I think are not needed at least by me like the sex offenders, but could be useful if I was looking to buy a house. However, I was looking for two things that I could not find. I want to know the property's Real Estate taxes paid in 2023 and also the amount of taxes paid in 2024. If it is in the report I can not find it..
