    I wanted to buy a ring. They just happened to have a half size in stock. When I went to order they said they didn’t have anymore and I would have pay for sizing. Something like this always happens. No more. I’m done. Your chat service is a joke. Those people could care less if you're happy or not. They said it’s gone now. Oh well don’t really care either way.

    There is zero concern for customer care. Any problems. And there will be some...are ALL YOUR PROBLEM. They just don't care about customers even if you have police reports and you shop almost daily. If something gets stolen from your mailbox they just don't care.

    As of today iam giving jtv a F. I shopped with them before and was happy. Recently I returned two rings. They are only giving me credit for one. Two days on the phone and many hours and still no results. I am out $300 dollers. This is supposed to be fun. Too much stress for their mistake. Plus I returned them weeks ago. Returns used to be good. Not sure what they are doing these days. Buyer beware because you might lose. If you're lucky to get your refund it is going to be a headache even if you did everything right.

    I would give 0 stars if I could. I'm being charged for two gold rings, when I only ordered 1. I returned the ring before Christmas and they said they never received. Spoke to someone about this and they said it was insured. Well, it's not. So now, I'm paying for 2 rings, of which I have none and being threatened to be turned over to a collection agency and have legal action taken against me because my account is delinquent. JTV is a scam. I've been with them for 25+ years and never encountered a problem like this. I'm closing my account and will be sure to spread the word about what they do.

    I bought a 24K, 16-inch chain for $499. It was on clearance. No mention from anyone, that it is non-refundable. Called to return it, as it appeared 3 times larger on TV. First time I was informed clearance can't be returned. I will not purchase from a company that won't clearly state their policies.

    Horrible. They charged 25% restocking fee so they kept 245 dollars of my refund on a defective ring that I didn't want. I returned it in unused condition. This place is highway robbery. They sell poor quality items then when you send it back they keep probably what the ring was worth to begin with and I've yet to see the check they supposedly sent. It's been several weeks

    The prices have gone up drastically, like everywhere else, but I have been very happy with most of their jewelry. I have received many compliments. I am scared to wear it though, due to all the crime. Even their non genuine stones look real, but many thieves do not care either way. They will steal it either way, and murder you for costume fashion jewelry, especially since much of it appears to be the real deal. Truly sick world we live in. I cannot afford excellent quality large sized GENUINE stones, and LOVE lab created stones, CZ stones, moissanite, etc. I am into everything beautiful, cute, colorful, unusual, etc. What I am not happy about is when great items are discontinued. If customers WANT, then keep making more.

    So this review starts when we were sent $20 cash to buy. I call JTV and they tell me we have a $66. Balance, that needed to be paid. Our card was hacked. I had called JTV right away and they tell me rep said ok and took our new card. So now. When I called to order a ring for my wife’s birthday JTV said I had to pay them the $66 before before I could use the $20 cash. The customer service person said they had no record of my new card. Plus I was supposed to have gotten an email about the $66 and she said. "Oh sorry. You didn’t." SO BEWARE OF THE WAY JTV DOES BUSINESS. WE have been customers for 4 years and have gotten over 40 rings. Not anymore. It’s not worth it. I was on the phone with them for over 30 mins and they had the nerve to say, "What else can I help you with."

    Listen people, I’m from New York City. I own top quality jewelry (24k Gold bracelet, Ceylon unheated sapphire, a few ruby rings and an emerald from the Muzo mine in Columbia, which produces the best emeralds in the world). I’m not bragging, but you can find quality jewelry at good prices. I’ve heard nothing good about any of these jewelry shows. They sell “GARBAGE“ and they are targeting people who have no knowledge. If you’re from a big city you probably know quality. DONT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON JUNK JEWELRY. I KNOW TOO MANY PEOPLE WHO HAVE GOTTEN RIPPED OFF.

    I made a $600 purchase for a Christmas gift. The next day I received an email cancelling my purchase. But JTV never released the funds back to my back, I am still waiting and it 4 days past Christmas now. I had no money to buy another gift. I will never purchase from this company again.

    After multiple harassing emails I decided to go ahead and order from these people. I was advised 2 to 5 of course I want this item before Christmas. Now is not giving me an update other than it's late. Do not waste your time ordering online from these people they lied about delivery time until you pay your money. Then they stay this out of their ends. I could have went elsewhere if it wasn't going to be on time. I did have that option. Poor customer service. Poor service overall not satisfied not knowing where my package is going to arrive and if it's going to be before Christmas or not.

    Purchased this beautiful necklace August 2nd. Necklace fell apart November 20th and called JTV CSR. She sent me a label to return so they can either repair or refund it. Never received a call from them if receiving it or any info. Called yesterday, Dec 17th, put on hold for 20-30 minutes then I finally hung up. No one called me back. Called again today, Dec 18th. CSR told me that I can do an exchange or refund. My necklace was not available. Then she sent me to another person and they said I have to pay around $271 for repairs and it was past the 90 days. My item only cost $41. So now they have my $41, and my broken necklace that fell apart. I have nothing. Supposed to call me back after speaking to a supervisor.

    I have been buying from JTV for so many years, around 20 years or so. This is very bad business! 2nd necklace that has broken on me hit never complained about the first one. The quality should last a lot longer than 3 months. Buyer BEWARE!!!! Not the kind of business I would want to give my money to any longer! I DO NOT RECOMMEND JTV AT ALL! They do not back up their quality!

    I received a 3-tier Wolf Jewelry box that was clearly defective... The second drawer did not fully close. I provided pictures and sent it back and then only received a credit for the item itself, not the extra shipping charges for a large item. When I went to customer service, it had been determined that there were no issues, and the box was fine and not defective. NOT TRUE! The drawer would not completely close, which defeats the purpose of the "lustreloc", a key selling feature. I was advised to speak with a supervisor and give a number to call, which I did. After waiting on hold for about 10 minutes, a representative (not a supervisor) informed me that they would credit me, but due to previous returns on my account, I could not expect them to do much for me in the future.

    I was stunned by the attitude... The on-camera personalities on JTV clearly state that you can return whatever you want for whatever reason. The attitude of the representative was combative; I actually asked why she was being so abrupt and rude to me. Again, she stated that I returned so many items that they really didn't care whether or not I ever purchased again from JTV. At that point, I hung up. I would highly recommend that anyone considering purchasing from JTV thinks twice before doing so. There are plenty of places I can spend my money and not deal with that kind of attitude -- returning items that don't meet my standards or do not meet what has been shown on live TV, should not affect the behavior of the customer service representatives.

    This ring 2 months ago Quite pretty, but, had the ring 4 weeks.. After 3Rd wearing stones fell out. Returned the ring and was told that it was "heavily worn" therefore, "You won't receive refund of almost over 200.00." I am still waiting for 60.99 refund. First off, I'm a senior lady who doesn't leave the house so I don't know how it could have been heavily worn and I only wore it three times when my children came over. I don't know in what universe. It's okay to steal money. As we all know that ring will go back out after the repair as a pre-owned so they'll make double their money. They've become a bunch of thieves and I won't be purchasing from them again.

    I purchased a cute necklace shown in tv, it looked very nice, visible, impressive. The necklace was glorified & enlarged about a a nickel size. What I got was a flimsy, poorly made, extremely small about 4 mm, dull, cheap. I was very embarrassed from my wife. I returned the cheap garbage and will never, never buy from JTV.

    Do not fall into the trap of their auctions. It is a scheme to make you bid higher. Every time you make a bid, they prompt you by stating that someone has bid higher. When you bid again, they do not accept it and ask you to bid again and again. It is simply not worth it. An item as low as $30.00 increases to $139.00 is not worth it. Don't get sucked into it. Another factor is that they provide a time frame for the bidding, but that is fake. They increase the time as more people bid at the end. DO NOT FALL VICTIM! IT IS NOT WORTH IT.

    I shopped for over 20 years at JTV they closed my account and asked me to pay and re-opened my account. Then I made orders and paid and they closed the account again. They cancelled two paid orders. They asked me for more money and would not re-order the cancelled orders. They are terrible. I am sorry I ever watched them, and the new hosts are younger and airheads. Don't support this business who claim to have value but still charge 3 times the value, instead of 5 times that is the usual mark up.

    Updated on 10/16/2024: I recently returned a ring that JTV sold me that was used and had a crack in the band as if someone got it sized the last week in September 2024. They was supposed to exchange it for a new one. That did not happen. JTV returned the same broken ring back to me, but only redipped in rhodium or high polished. The cracked resurfaced within 3 days and the high polish or rhodium looks very bad now. I know it's the same ring and not a new one, because after they processed the return and shipped a supposedly new ring, I went and bought the same ring so I can compare the bands on the rings.

    The bands are totally different! The band on the rings I repurchased is thick and sturdy without any blemishes, or cracks. I spent a lot of money with this company for many years!! Whoever is over their quality control and returns needs to be fired! I'm beyond upset! This company has went down over the years! So I will be looking for another jewelry consumer from here on out!

    Original Review: I purchased a ring a couple of weeks ago and when I wear it, the ring started to scratch my finger. I never experienced that with any of my rings before. I got a flash light and look at the band of the ring. The band looks like it has been repaired or sized. The ring has a line through the band!! JTV sold me a used ring. I'm so disappointed in this company. I have been shopping with them for over 10 years. I'm so angry! Why will they not send me a new ring! I cannot believe them. Now I have to try and find the return label and send it back for another one!!

    This relates to JTV auctions only. I have won 2 separate auction items as validated by emails from JTV. One item was a pair of earrings and the other a silver bangle bracelet with matching earrings. However, both "Orders" were canceled by them as if they never had the items to begin with. What was the sense in bidding and monitoring the items so carefully and faithfully to ensure that I won? I call that false advertising, bad business practices and deception!

    I ordered a dragonfly purse with JTV back in May. Never shopped with the company before and thought I'd give it a try and what a mistake! The order said processing for several weeks, so I contacted JTV 3 times and each time they told me they would contact their warehouse and respond back. They never did. I called the customer service line and was told they didn't have the bag in stock. I cancelled my order. Big sham!

    Puchased clearance ring for 90 yr mom for this past MD. Told ring in brand new cond. Small stone on side snagged her dress. She loves the ring and cried when I told her I woud have to send it back. I spoke to a mgr Charlie and asked if he could refund some of what I paid and I would take to a local ** for repair. He bullied me, was rude and did not care how my mom felt. He refused to refund any of my money. His words, "TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT". This morning I took ring out of box and heard a noise, then shook the ring side to side next to my ear. The alexandrite stone is LOOSE. So my plan is this:

    1. Take to a reputable jeweler and get value of ring and CONFIRM real alexandrite stone.

    2. If it is real and valued at what I paid, get both issues repaired, est cost quote $156.

    My mom's happiness is worth more than money but JTV should hang their head in shame.

    Beware of return fees with JTV. I finally bought a ring from them, I paid for expedited shipping but it did not arrive as promised before I left on a month long trip. Fast forward to one week over the order plus delivery date for returns allowed which was about 35 days. I had the ring in the mail opened it, was not what I thought it was, called JTV told since it was 37 days since I purchased I would not pay a return, restocking, etc. fee that totaled about $160.00. I would only receive $140.00 back. The original purchase was for $301.00. They make money on everything including not shipping on time and restocking. Never should have bought from them. Never will again. Be very careful if you do to return and keep records or they will charge you a 25% restocking fee and shipping. Not worth the hassle and charges. The ring is cheap looking too.

    Ordered "genuine" Amber ring. Turns out it's NOT Amber ... it's literally made of plastic. SOOO DISAPPOINTING. The salespeople are extremely convincing and you want to believe them. This is the second ring I've purchased now. Both have been fake. How is that even legal?!

Here it is almost September 6th - 5 days since the return was "received" and signed for by a "JATV". That was how it was signed. I returned the jewelry VIA UPS NEXT DAY AIR on August 31st. It arrived back at Jewelry Television's address on September 1st at 10:03AM! This is taking too long for them to process my return and refund my money! I don't want to hear their lame excuses when I know other "bigger companies" don't take this long to refund customers!

    Original: First of all, I returned close to 2000 dollars worth of "neon blue and white cubic zirconia rings", and shipped it UPS next day air! The supervisor refused to tell me if they indeed received my return. There is also nowhere on the website to know if they found my return and that they are processing it. There is **zero** order history that I could look up at all on their website. If I don't get help **soon** about my returned order, I am filing a chargeback and that is **not** a threat!!!! I will make good on that promise!!! Not only is this company not competent, but they are very shady too! I would not do business with them ever again!

    RUN, RUN as fast as you can! I spent over a thousand dollars with them. The stuff doesn't last. It falls apart right after you can send it back. The ring I bought and called them about has been repaired twice by 2 different jewelry repair shops. Both told me it was a terrible design and would not last. Guess what? Yes, correct failing yet again after another 200 spent on repairs. I called them again and they said I could pay them to fix it. What a racket, buy it, and then pay to have them fix it over and over again. They pretty much told me too bad, and we are so sad for you!

    Advertised as light lavender/blue tanzanite ring, it instead had clear stones. Returned the two rings, asking for return postage cost to be waived. Customer Service continues to say color is not guaranteed. So beware, you too might get clear stones.

    I had purchased from JTV 3 years ago. I moved. Didn't know I had outstanding flex payments after 6 months.. I got a bill at my new address 2 years ago, I called JTV to pay off, they said I can't. They sent it to a debt collector, I called debt collector and paid off JTV. End of story? Not even close... Bottom line. 1 year after I already paid the collection agency off, I recently saw 2 payments charged to my credit card from JTV for those same paid off 2020 FlexPays. They are thieves!!

    I need an apology and help with real consumer protection. Beware if you do flex pay and accidentally go to a collection agency they will bill your credit card out of the blue years later and say you owe, admit you don't and they were wrong then say you owe again when you don't and keep the charge on your card! Can't be legal!? They apologized in a transcript this week to me a dozen times, Consumer Protection admitted they were wrong, account was paid.. Unless you can hire an attorney or know the right people they will take advantage of you! Buyer beware.

    On April 1, 2022, I had to change my debit card number. This happened because I gave out my debit card information to a company who purported to be PayPal, but was not. So I immediately notified my bank who then cancelled the old debit card and replaced it with a new one. I also immediately notified JTV that I had a new debit card number.

    Fast forward. jewelry television notified me on July 5 that I owe $391.47. They refuse to acknowledge all the payments that they have been out of my checking account!! Last month I sent them $89.00. Not that I believed that I owed them that money but because I simply wanted to avoid an ordeal. But now they have come back again with a Total Amount Past Due of $391.47. I need help! I have proof that the payments have been made but they choose to ignore me.

    I have had a pretty good experience with JTV. I see reviews where people say something they ordered was too small or light in weight. The information they give you on the app is very specific. They give the dimensions of the item, the gram weight, material(s) description etc. The hosts usually have a ruler out to show how long and wide the item is. 10kt, 14kt and 18kt is just that. It can’t be CHEAP bc it is what it is. Gold OVER silver is way cheaper. You will save yourself a lot of return headaches, time and money if you really look at each item before you buy it.

    Never had to file a complaint. First ever. Will never order from JTV again. They will really mess you over. Be careful. Do not set up payments. They will try to charge you three times as much.     I had spoken to several individuals regarding several returns, 16 total jewelry items in one return package, under “1” return label, that I had sent back for a refund on January 3rd, 2022. I received two separate emails from JTV regarding this return under return label # **, that JTV received on January 6th, 2022, per the email JTV sent to me. I spoke to several different customer service representatives and a supervisor as of January 11, 2022.

    I am UPSET by how this return is being handled by JTV. As of this afternoon, my 16 jewelry return items have not been processed nor have I been refunded the total cost of those 16 jewelry items that I had prepaid on PRIOR TO THOSE ITEMS BEING SHIPPED. I was advised that they are processing returns received on January 8th, 2022. HOWEVER, my return was received on Wednesday, January 6th, 2022.

    When I spoke to a supervisor, she advised me THAT I AM responsible for ALL items that they CANNOT VERIFY that were in the return package because I did not use the proper return label for each item. She will ONLY process 5 of the 16 jewelry items that were specific to that return label. I marked each box with what is inside the jewelry box. Item #’s are written on top of each box, the completed return slip, which has my name, customer number and the invoice number on it, is then taped to each jewelry box and then inserted into the return package.

    For JTV to tell me when I send a return back to their company in good faith, well within the timeframe those jewelry items need to be returned, I am still responsible for those missing items because JTV returns department did not want to process the entire return because of a damn return label that was specified to one of those orders being returned and not to all orders in the return package, is ignorant and fraud!!!! This is unfair to me, the customer, I am a nobody and a puny individual and JTV can care less about me as a person/customer. This is stealing money from me, especially since these 16 jewelry items were returned to JTV with their return label. This is poor business practice by JTV company.

    The JTV company chooses not to process the return because of their return label, instead of processing the return by the completed return form which has the invoice#, order#  and my name printed itself under my customer#!!!! I sent back the jewelry items correctly and JTV company refuses to process the returns correctly and refund my money!!

    I purchased several gold overlay rings that tarnished after a week. The last purchase was 18k gold covered and I didn’t wear them for a while because I was afraid they would tarnish. So I kept these purchases past the return date. I wore them one week and they tarnished. I called JTV to see about return. They would not, I tried to negotiate some kind of percentage of credit. They said no. I told the woman on the phone that I was very careful with them the one week I wore them. I told her that when I went to the nail salon I only used water. She put me on hold and when she returned she said her Supervisor said I had to get chemicals on them. I know what I did and she was calling me a liar. I am very disappointed and out over $100. They said too bad. I will never purchase JTV again.

    Beautiful, nice quality. To the negative reviews on here, I want to say, yes, I return a lot of the jewelry I purchase, but JTV always takes it back no questions asked. Also, yes they charge return postage because it costs them. All of the shopping channels charge for returned items. To the lady that complained about the 2 CT red diamond ring, are you kidding me. That ring was only $249 for 2 CTs of red diamonds! What did you expect, that is a terrific deal. If you looped the stones and were so concerned, you should have known that the diamonds are going to be less than perfect, Quality red diamonds cost in the thousands!     My Husband bought me the 2 carat red diamond ring for my Birthday. I received the ring in time to wear it for my special day but I have a jewelers loop so I decided to take a peak at the red diamonds in this ring because I had never seen one before. From the naked eye it was so beautiful but when I looked inside my loop at it I was absolutely stunned at the awful, cracked and chipped diamonds in that ring. I couldn't believe that someone would rant and rave over a piece of Jewelry on air and send cheap crap to someone's home. They automatically send return labels with every order as if they are expecting returns. If I had not inspected that ring I would have been stuck with it. If you don't own a loop, please invest in one to protect yourself from false claims of what they call fine Jewelry.

    I have been trying to resolve an issue of jewelry lost in shipment. My calls have been repeatedly transferred to different departments. I have been told that the department that handles this type of issue does not accept phone calls or emails.     This is a bronze byzantine bracelet with 18kt overlay. Purchased in August 2020. The gold is already wearing off and the bracelet is now two toned. Also very dull. Obviously this should not be occurring on a bracelet that is 2 months old. I discussed with JTV customer service who basically told me that since the 30 days to return are up and I did not purchase insurance on a $93 bracelet that I got on sale for $43 the only recourse would be for me to send it back to them and have them repair it. It would cost me a minimum of $20 to repair plus the shipping. This is not acceptable. I have purchased many items from this co. and returned too for various reasons. They obviously do not back up the quality. I don't want this to happen to anyone else. I am looking for reasonable customer service. It makes you think do I want to ever purchase from them again.

    I've been a JTV customer for more than 15 years and as a jewelry reseller and jewelry lover I have been happy of recording 4-6 JTV shows a day and watch them as part of my entertainment and hobby buying. About six weeks ago my husband bought a Tahitian "multicolor" pearl necklace for me because he thought it was pretty + had nice colors to it, it was about $670.00. We received it and he was disappointed it wasn't as pictured in the website. I didn't want to reject his gift so I kept it for a while. I was studying for some important test & forgot about the deadline for returning it. It was about day 35 when I realized I was late.

    I called CS & they confirmed that the 25% restocking fee was discretionary, and it could be waived, so I sent it over hoping that they'd understand (it was my 1st incident in more than 15 years & no, we don't have the kind of money to just give away about $150 for nothing. I'd rather had given it to a shelter or something). It makes me really sad that we customers are not valuable anymore and that loyalty is nothing anymore. I'm going to pass on my birthday gift this year so I learn the lesson, not to buy at JTV anymore.

    I have never purchased from the television. I always shop from the online site. With that said yes some jewelery they carry is sub-par at best while other pieces are amazing. You do get what you pay for even here. First read read read, second educate yourself. You cannot expect to get real gold at plated gold prices. Nor can you expect that plated items will hold up like real pieces. I cannot stress the importance of educating yourself on the meaning. Of lab grown diamonds, rhodium over, plated, and so on. If you read and learn the terminology you will first, not be disappointed when the item arrives nor feel like you have been mislead. I still shop JTV But I am very choosy about what I buy. It is a great place to get cost effective jewelry that looks nice.

    I bought Lapiz Lazuli 4mm Rondelle beads strand. After few days when I see the “stone” starts fading. I start testing.... I didn’t understand how that can happened to a stone. I test it, scratch, start peeling and wasn’t only 1 were many faded already and comes from China. I thought JTV was more serious choosing where to buy their merchandise. Really is sad.     Called Jtv to inquire about the grade of diamond that was displayed on 2 pieces of jewelry. I asked what is the clarity of the diamond. The customer service representative didn't know what I was talking about. She placed me on hold and came back with a script that said something to the effect of the company sells diamonds based on what they are able to purchase. No idea of cut, clarity. No GIA no nothing. Just a diamond. They seem to cater to the informed. I called about another deal for fake diamond earrings that were 19.99 rhodium over silver. I asked what is rhodium. She tried to sell me a spray that I should use to avoid reaction to the rhodium. Shipping 6.99. No thanks.

    I have purchased jewelry from JTV for over 20 years. Most of the items I received years ago were great. For the past 10 years, it's been a crap shoot. I have returned more than I have kept. I have taken several pieces to have my jeweler look at them only to be told they were not what I was sold. My latest thing is the "Random acts of Sparkle." Granted what they give you is free, but, a customer who has a 20 year history deserves more than the junk they sent me. A gold over "diamond" ring and earrings. Looks like gravel. Then, they turn around and give someone who has only shopped a month or so bracelets, rings, necklaces worth thousands of dollars! What I got was only worthy of the trash. I wouldn't even give it to someone. They have lost a good customer because of their unfair practices.

    I love Jewelry TV because you don't have to deal with it pushy person or somebody sells you something you don't want. You have people on the TV describing the jewelry measuring the pieces if you want them to.     Buyers beware, I purchased several pieces from JTV's southwest collection online while viewing their live show. The turquoise bracelet with a rather large stone came in cracked in half. I therefore wanted to return the other pieces along with the damaged bracelet, as they were a set, and it would be too late to give to my daughter as a wedding present. But upon reviewing their return policy, I saw the 25% re-stocking fee, which I will be charged over $200.00. I am totally shocked at this ridiculous fee, and feel it is a total consumer rip off. I WILL NEVER SHOP WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN!

    On Jan. 17, 2020, I won an amazing fluorite ring on their bids auction at a great price. One week later they notified by purchased had been cancelled and no reason as to why. I called customer service to ask why and was given 2 different stories (or should I say Lies!). First I was told they ran out of stock, had too many orders. I said this was an auction item, how could you have too many orders. I was put on hold and transferred to someone else who then said when they went to ship the item, they noticed it was damaged. Not acceptable was my response, so they then said they would have a customer service rep call me the next day. Didn't happen!

    5 days later I finally got a call from Jenny in the customer service department who then proceeded to tell me another lie. She said the ring was never available to begin with and was put on the auction list by mistake. Really? My assumption is they were not satisfied with my winning bid amount. Never offered a substitute ring or any other solution. I'm done with these crooks.

    I have been using JTV for years. The customer service gets worse each time I use them lately. I place an order for Christmas and it has turned into a nightmare. I was disconnected at the end of placing my order. I thought the order was complete. I called the next day to make sure the order would be here in time for Christmas only to find out one of the main items I ordered was out of stock because the order was not placed. I was told the items were in my cart. I did not order online. I spoke with a person to make sure the items were available. I ask to speak with a supervisor. I was told it would be 24-48 hours. No one called so I called back ask for a supervisor. Someone who was not a supervisor got on the phone and told me I would once again I would be placed on a waiting list. It would be another 24-48 hrs. Christmas will be here and over before anyone gets back with me. A lot of help ya'll have been.

    Do ya'll have so many complaints a supervisor cannot answer a call! The people answering the phones need to be taught to respect the customer. I have come in contact with some of the rudest people ever. You have lost a long time customer, That a 5 minute call could have cleared up, sorry a supervisor can not answer a call, just what are they so busy doing?     JTV sells garbage products intentionally keeping the public uninformed. When buying a diamond you always have to look at the 4, "c's"- color, cut, carat weight, clarity. These are the factors that determine the value of a diamond. JTV purposely does not provide that information. Therefore they sell garbage diamonds at prices that make consumers think they're getting a great deal. But the bottom line is you have no idea what you're getting and/or paying for.

    A diamond is not just a diamond if it's a garbage diamond. You wouldn't buy a car without knowing the make, model and year would you? I actually contacted JTV and asked them why they did not provide the details about their diamonds, it's known as grading. Their reply was they couldn't pass on the savings to their customers if they had to grade the diamonds. That is the most ridiculous nonsensical reply. When their buyers go out to buy diamonds to sell to the public they have to buy them based on the 4 "c's". Next time you buy a diamond from JTV Ask them about the grading!

    About a year ago I made a purchase through JTV and used their stretch pay payment plan. My account got a little behind and I ended up paying the entire balance off. At the time, I was staying with a relative that also had her own account and there were times I called in and used my credit card to make payments for her on her account. Recently, I purchased some items off the website and decided to use stretch pay again. I made my deposit and received my confirmation number.

    Today I checked to see the status of my items. The website said my account had been closed and to contact customer service, as I did. I was told by two representatives (which surprisingly were rude because I never had an issue with JTV customer service) that my items had been canceled and would not be shipped because my relative owes a balance on her account. This is absurd!

    So you are telling me that I am punished for someone else misuse of their accounts. I have my own house, my own cards, and my own email address. None of my information is affiliated with my relative. I do not owe them any monies and when asked, they stated the reason for their decision was not due to me having a balance last year but solely due to her account having a balance. So why am I being treated unfairly? Especially, when this all took place you could not even change your card on file with them you had no choice but to keep the original card on file. Just this year they changed this. I made sure they were aware that I was recording the conversation because this is Ludicrous!

    I have had no problems whatsoever with buying from JTV. 30 days return means 30 days return. Why on earth would you believe that you should have more time? If the price is right and the jewelry is beautiful what more would I want. What's that you say? Oh yes the stones may not be the best quality. Well that too is a load a crap. I have purchased diamond rings from renown jewelers. Had one ring appraised at another jeweler for 18,000 dollars and then when I went to sell it to the jeweler they said it was only worth $1500 and the stone had some yellow, etc etc in it and all this is pure **!!!

    Some mark ups on diamonds are as high as 100% or more depending on not the quality but the company name you purchase it from. Did you ever wonder why most diamond stores don't buy back diamonds? Gold yes, diamonds no!! So buy a piece of jewelry because you love it and will wear it. If it's from JTV and don't love it, send it back. Follow the rules and speak with customer care via phone or chat on their website. I have even had refunds on items that went on sale within a certain given time that is allowed. No problem whatsoever.

    I ordered one ring from them and it was okay. I liked the stretch pay option. After I paid the first one off, I ordered two more. After a few days, I saw the transaction was still pending. But I certainly had the funds. So I am waiting and waiting to get my rings. Still, nothing. I happened to check my email. They cancelled my order! God knows why. I called on Saturday. The stupid system doesn't recognize any of my information. Then I get transferred to some random woman, sounds like she's working from a spare bedroom, not a call center. She couldn't locate me either.

    FINALLY, by name search she finds me. They had all of my information WRONG! How is that when I had an order delivered before? I wanted to know why they cancelled my order. She said I'd have to speak to customer service. I thought she was CUSTOMER SERVICE. I said well, transfer me. She says, "They're closed on the weekend." What business is closed on the weekends in this day and age?? I wanted those rings for a special occasion. Now I have nothing. Unprofessional and disgusting company.     I can't believe some of these reviews. Mad because you can’t return something after a year? Upset that you had to pay shipping? Good grief get real. JTV is a great company with good customer service. If I order 10 pieces from them I'm probably only going to keep 7. Personal preference, buyers remorse, and other issues cause me to do this. I've never had a single issue with returns. I usually have my money back in a week or less. They 100% want you to be happy with your purchase but they also are running a business. They can’t comp the shipping on every purchase and they can’t take back stuff you've had a year. If you have reasonable expectations they're an awesome company. I've shopped with them for a decade and have an armoire full of rare, exotic, and beautiful gems. I'd never have been able to afford my collection going to a jewelry store so I'm grateful to JTV.

    I love JTV. I have NEVER had a problem with them. Some of my favorite gorgeous jewelry pieces came from them. Quality control COULD be improved upon, but returns are very easy, and refund quickly received. Their peridot items are wonderful. I have many. The "sugar" or "junk diamond" pieces are beautiful for the price. You aren't going to get $2000 diamonds for $300 BUT you will get sparkle. I get a lot of compliments on my JTV diamond rings. Same with pearls, some good, and the rest were returned with no hassle. In summary, JTV is a wonderful place to find just about any piece of jewelry you could dream up. I do recommend it!

    JTV has provided the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. This past Saturday they shipped me the wrong item. I ordered a pendant and they sent me a ring. I called immediately and the first customer service rep told me they’d “take good care” of me if I called back on Monday as that particular department was closed and she couldn’t issue another pendant to be sent out to me. I called on Monday and “Karen” was passive aggressive rude as hell and informed me that I needed to return the ring before they would ship me my pendant which is pure BS for the simple fact that my pendant is on flex pay and cost way for than the crappy ring they sent me so obviously I’m going to return the ring because I still have payments to make on a pendant I have NOT yet received.

    I returned the ring as I said I was going to and called today as it’s now been delivered and in their possession and they had the nerve to tell me I’d have to wait another 10 days!!! Ridiculous that this company made a mistake and me the paying customer has to suffer for it. They had no empathy or remorse just a “sorry it happens”. I ordered this pendant for a wedding that I now won’t be able to use. I am disgusted and will NEVER purchase another item from them ever again in life. Back to HSN and QVC I go as they have much better products anyway!!! Don’t waste your time with this crappy company!!!

    Well, I have read many reviews and am pretty surprised at the number of negative reports here. I have to say, I am not one for writing long flowing reviews for anything really, but I feel compelled to write my positive experiences. Over the last 18 years I purchased all kinds of jewelry from JTV for myself and as gifts. I only returned one piece in that time frame due to a micro pave stone coming out of a setting. Customer service was polite and the return was completed and my account was credited with ease.

    The quality of the jewelry I purchased was top notch. Everything has lasted wonderfully, never tarnished or diminished in its beauty. My local jeweler examined, approved, and admired most of my purchases. All of my rings from JTV were sized by my jeweler as I gained and lost weight and there was never a question about quality of the metal, gems, or setting. Quite frankly, in 18 years, I’ve had nothing but great experiences. I recommend JTV and will continue to purchase from them in the future.

    I have been a JTV member for years, using the same payment method. Suddenly, I’ve been randomly selected for account verification. Where they need to conference call with me, to my bank to confirm my billing address. What?!?! When did this become a thing. Shame on you JTV. With all the scams going around, that’s what we need to do is call and request payment info and billing info from a bank. I work 15-17 hours a day. I do not have time to sit on the phone for 60 minutes while I wait for Regions online 800# to pick up, so I can confirm my shipping and billing address. That was the last straw. I will go to QVC from now on.

    Don't waste your money on an appraisal! Ordered a ring right at a month ago. Had an appraisal on it. A stone fell out within the last week. They are willing to take it back because Feb only has 28 days in it. But will not refund or apply to a replacement the fifty dollars I spent on an appraisal for the ring. {Which showed the ring was only worth 50 dollars more than what I paid for it.} Luckily I noticed the stone missing 2 days before the 30 refund policy is up. Beware! This is not like dealing like a reputable jewelry store which replaced my son's graduation present 6 months after I bought it. This is the first and last time I will order anything from JTV.

    I'm surprised by all the negative reviews. Been shopping JTV about 2 yrs.; haven't had any trouble with charges or customer service. I assume all the rules & fine print mean what they say, so I've respected those & the company has been fair. I had one stone fall out of one ring, I called within the 30-day return period, was told to send it back, stone was replaced, no problem. As for quality, you pretty much get what you pay for, and you do need to educate yourself about gems, precious & semi-precious, before you buy. I've been pleased with most purchases including the bargain-priced items but occasionally have sent something back. What I AM disappointed in is the lack of diversity reflected in their programming. Astonishingly few hosts of color.

    I tried to order a tanzanite bangle bracelet for $39.99 on 3-16-19. They were very rude, even the supervisor! They said I had to pay additional $6.99 for shipping and wouldn't waive the fee! I said, "I'm never ordering from you again!" I guess they don't need my business! I order from a lot of companies and never pay for shipping ever. Even Macy's. Doesn't make a difference with price ever! Shouldn't even gave them 1 star!

    So I joined and spoke with a salesperson purchased for one price. However when received was double the price, had to call back!! Great refund/credit, seen on my account! However, stretch pay amount with my credit card number. Remained the same!! I told them from word go, I did not trust them, and wanted stretch pay fixed or would cancel my credit card and refer to them to my credit card company "fraud" amount. They tried to assure me they were going to put New amount through but why can they not fix online on the stretch pay amount With my card #!!! Will give them to Monday Feb 25/2019 to fix! Will keep you posted! Will no longer deal with them!! I buy from QVC, HSN, EVINE never have I dealt with such a dysfunctional company!! Advice don't order!!

    Do not buy anything from JTV! I purchased a red diamond flower ring that I thought was pretty. First of all the diamonds have an orange hue, not red. I cannot wear this ring. I purchased it in the fall. I developed a blood clot so I didn’t get around to sizing it until the next year. I brought it to a jeweler and he said he could not work on it. He said the prongs on it are lousy and if I were to wear the ring the diamonds are loose and would fall out and there is no way to repair it. I contacted JTV. They were totally nasty. They refused to do anything about it because it had been past the 30 day return period. I paid $230.00 for a ring I cannot wear and cannot sell this way. SHAME on JTV!

    I ordered a 2mm solid 14k rope chain. I got a 1mm hollow rope chain and now customer service act like it's my fault and expect me to kiss their ** to get service. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!! Go to eBay. You will get a better deal and a money back guarantee if you don't get what you ordered. JTV will take some time to get this resolved.

    We purchased and had to return a ring. I am happy I insured it through the post office. They claimed they did not have the ring even though the post office has it as delivered back to them. The lady in customer service on January 14, 2019 am was a disgrace, rude and very disrespectful. Leaving me with no recourse but to open the claim for the insured item through the post office. Needless to say buyer beware. Your item disappears when you return it and leaving the customer with anxiety as to how to get a refund. This has got to be the most disgraceful company to do any business with.

    I read the reviews and am shocked! I have shopped with JTV for several years now and I will say that they have really fantastic jewelry at extremely fair and sometimes incredible prices. I would first like to address folks about shipping charges... The most they ever charge for shipping is $6.99. A majority of the time they have free shipping or very reduced shipping of $2.99. I usually only buy when there is free shipping. Anyone saying their shipping charges are outrageous is just a liar, plain and simple. Next I would like to address quality. They buy the vast amount of their jewelry via manufacturing closeouts, and they buy in bulk. Almost all the jewelry I have purchased has arrived in excellent condition, but buyers should be aware that much of the jewelry they do not manufacture and the reason you can get such great deals is because of closeouts.

    This is a company that sells multiple thousands of pieces every day. Sometimes there will be a loose stone or something not quite right. If you examine the jewelry and find this within 30 days you can return the item if it is flawed or damaged free of charge. You really can't beat that, but you have to take responsibility and check your jewelry out carefully. If they had someone checking out each piece of jewelry carefully when they deal in 10's of thousands of pieces of jewelry you would be paying much more for the jewelry and they could never offer the same bargains that they do. Sometimes you can get a replacement, but other times you cannot. If in stock great, but this is not always the case.

    Again they sell many thousands of pieces of jewelry a day... Buyers need to take responsibility! You can wear a piece of jewelry for 30 days and return it in very used condition and get all your money except for shipping cost refunded, you can't beat that. Next on my list to address, is the person saying they drained her Wells Fargo account... Sorry hun, but this company is reputable and has a huge following on Facebook and other venues! They don't drain people's accounts. I have 2 of my bank cards linked directly to my bank on account with JTV. I have never, ever, ever been charged incorrectly, ever. I would suggest you ordered a lot of things and are trying to get them free, or someone used your information to get jewelry.

    Honey Wells Fargo is not going to take anyone to court. They don't deal in court cases for 850 dollars! JTV is a multi-million dollar business that makes their money by being reputable, in business for almost over 30 years. Folks be aware the vast amount of their customers are older middle aged or elderly women who sit and watch cable TV all day long. I think this poster is one of those elderly confused women who went on a shopping binge kept the jewelry and then forgot what they did!

    I take all my jewelry and have it appraised, but I tend to buy more expensive pieces. All appraise for at least double, but often 3-6 times what I paid for them. I also have the jeweler check them over and make sure all stones are secure. When I buy a less expensive piece I check myself and am done. Please realize most jewelry is manufactured in China or India and in large quantities, just like most of what we buy in the USA. You the buyer needs to take responsibility and check over the merchandise. Walmart does not check over everything they sell. Macy's does not check over the merchandise they sell. Almost no one does as is not feasible when you buy and sell in quantity. JTV does not either, you have to be a smart buyer and carefully check your item, that is on you! You have 30 days to get a full refund!

    To the lady who waited 45 days before opening the package, that again is on you! Be an educated and smart buyer. Businesses are not responsible for your lack of responsibility! I LOVE JTV. Truly the best deals on quality jewelry, just do your part and check over your purchases, and have your local jeweler check out your pieces. You won't be disappointed!!! Loyal and happy customer!!!

    I like to order online. Whenever I research a product or products from a show, whatever piece of jewelry I am looking at shows up as a pop up on my browser. I like to read reviews (if any) on anything I am interested in purchasing so I am not disappointed with whatever I receive and have to spend a costly amount in sending it back. I see these pop-ups and they p... me off and discourage me from purchasing. I don't like to be followed with my searches. JTV stop doing this!!!

    I have been buying for 20 years. When Jerry was the on air host and Carolyn was a host. Miss them both. Dawn was brand new, went through her pregnancy with her and welcomed Nikki's new horse that she delivered. Good folks, good times and best of all, I have NEVER had an issue with anything I have ever ordered. Some loose gemstones I took for a local appraisal and boy, did I make a great deal. Other reviews were sour grapes or buyer's remorse. I've referred so many friend and not one complaint.

    I have purchased jewelry from JTV for a number of years. Just in the last year I have noticed the quality going downhill. The rhodium they say they plate over sterling silver has not been done, everything has tarnished and the pave work is shoddy, all the stones fall out. I have many pieces of jewelry that I cannot wear now because of this. I took some pieces to a jeweler to see how much it would cost and it would be more than I paid for the items. I type for a living, not a rough practice on jewelry. I am very disappointed and now JTV has lost a pretty good customer.

    Every ring I have bought has stones missing after about 6 weeks. They have offered me their warranty for an extra $. I thought I was purchasing a quality product for a great price. It is a sub quality product and unless you purchase their extended warranty you are sol. I have paid to go to a jewelers and had stones replaced and reset on every ring. A total of 4 rings now. I will not purchase from them again. I would rather pay a little more and have a quality product that is not missing stones after 6 weeks than have junk. I was questioned by my Jewelry expert on if the stones are even real. I have called and filed a complaint and was told I should have bought the extended warranty. If you are selling a good product you don't need an extended warranty.

    In February of this year I purchased a larger carat Bella Luce ring costing approx 150 dollars for my retirement from the state. Approx two months later the entire center of the ring consisting of 9 invisible princess cut stones fell out - never found it. Called JTV and was instructed to send for repair so I did, and got it returned saying it could not be repaired. I was still paying FlexPays on a ring I can't wear.

    JTV stole out of a Wells Fargo debit card. $748.99 all in 2 days time. At different times of the day. And different amounts. Wells Fargo notices something was very wrong here. When the whole account was wiped out. Plus JTV had ask for another payment that had turned in to an overdraft. And the bank got in contact with the cardholder. The money was stolen. The whole Wells Fargo debit card account was wiped out. Stolen by JTV. Wells Fargo wanted to file a lawsuit against JTV if that stolen money was not returned at once. All of the stolen money was returned. There was no charge for the overdraft by the bank. JTV made an offer.

    Month ago a ring was purchased with a ruby and tanzanite. One of the tanzanite fell out. At once it was emailed in to JTV. The reply from JTV was... "Sorry we don't carry loose stones here." After they stole all that money they wanted to replace the stone for free, she reclined. All she wanted was... Get her stolen money back from JTV. A new card was issued with new numbers. Stay away from JTV. Your credit card numbers are an open book... And JTV can steal any amount at any time. Day or night. Stay away from JTV. Where you get ripped of 24/7. Everything, every email from this incident has been saved in case it is needed.

    I purchased 2 rings from JTV. When the package arrived I was not able to look at the contents due to family issues and a surgery. When I got around to the package, which was over a month, one of the rings was not in the envelope. Customer service said they could not do anything since it was over 45 days. I explained the package was in good shape when it arrived, but the one ring was all I got. I was told to dispute the delivery with the post office. I feel this is not ethical since the package was not damaged. The ring they did not send was over 400 dollars and that is a lot of money to lose due to their error.

    I was watching Dawn back when they had loose gemstone shows on TV. She sold a parcel of Australian opal triplets. She said that these triplets have Hematite on the bottom of the stones and Crystal Quarts or a SYNTHETIC white Sapphire on the tops. When I got the bag home I opened it up and the tops and bottoms of all my cabs were made out of PLASTIC. Yes... plastic. Why would you put something as beautiful as a slice of Australian opal in PLASTIC?!?!?! I DON'T THINK THESE PEOPLE CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS AT ALL. The shipping cost is just plain outrageous and now I know how many times a host has lied to me.

    Not to mention, JTV used to list the treatments of stones in the graphics on the TV and don't do that anymore. You never know now what the treatment is on a piece if there is any at all. They make sure you know when something is untreated but NEVER talk about the treatments that ARE there except for a few. I used to hold JTV to a higher standard but I suppose I was wrong

    I purchased a aquamarine ring and after 3 weeks later while I was looking for another item to purchase I saw the ring that I bought went on sale and I called JTV and I’m a customer of 10 years. I purchased many items and they said it’s been more than 14 days and can’t do price adjustment and not trying to honor the discount and not even very polite. I was very upset with the all process and I said, "JTV lost a very good customer." Never ever JTV!!! BUYERS BE VERY CAREFUL WITH JTV.     I called JTV to place an order for myself and my daughter. The representative asked if I would like to open an account with JTV. I said sure why not. I placed my order one item to be shipped to me and the other to be shipped to my daughter for Christmas. I received a phone call from customer service explaining that they could not ship the merchandise to my daughter. I was told I would have to have it shipped to me and then ship it to her.

    Why would someone pay to have something shipped to themselves and then have to pay to send the item to the loved one for the holidays? I cancelled my credit card account before I receive the card in the mail. I had spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars from this company. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN!!! The person who took my order should have explained that to me before I accepted the credit card. Horrible customer service with people taking orders who are clueless.

    I have bought several pieces from JTV. I've been happy with everything, except the jewelry doesn't really last, but it's relatively inexpensive. Recently, I wanted to replace a beautiful ring as the stones had fallen out. I had to buy a larger size, but when I received it, it was far too big. I immediately wrapped it all up, put in the package and sent it off. Later I got the ring back and a letter saying that they had received only part of the ring, which wasn't true. They obviously in receiving the ring back misplaced part of the ring. I sent the ring back a second time with a letter asking them to not charge me and keep this ring.

    Today, I received a letter saying that if I didn't pay the balance on the ring that they were going to send the amount due to a collection agency. I called and tried to explain that they didn't even send the ring back. They were wanting me to pay for a ring I no longer had. They didn't care one bit. I paid for a ring I don't even have because I don't want it to show up on my credit report. They are thieves and heartless with no customer service. I will never, ever buy anything from JTV again.

    I have noticed a change in JTV right after the current CEO took office. Prior to his arrival, the quality was top notch, the pre-owned items were slim to none, the hosts were not hawking products like late-night infomercials, the item you saw on TV or online were just the same when they arrived at your home, and customer service reps were actually helpful. Today, there are deceptive practices, programming issues, and so much more. I would ask that you flood his office with written complaints; mail them NOT email and request a response.     Received a pendant in a smeared black bag, the anti tarnish sheet looked like it had partially melted. The pendant was dull. Also received a set of earrings with one of them smeared with what looks like ear wax, tried to wipe off but grossly stuck around the post. Called customer service telling the man that I'm returning the items and requested that they not charge me for return shipping. In a nutshell, he said no refund 'cause they're not damaged and I could clean them just like I clean jewelry anyway. Requested a supervisor. He said they would call me in 24 - 48 hours. You can't talk to a supervisor at the time of your call, total baloney. I admit that I knew that they were problems with their quality control having sent other things in dirty bags, dirty jewelry, and scratched. I decided this time I shouldnt have to pay return shipping. Still waiting for them to call me. If I have to pay return shipping then I'm done.

    One of the hosts on JTV makes adult GIFs to sell for income. Someone posted one of these GIFs on Twitter. I saw it and others have too. It is of the host. JTV knew about it and covers for her. How can JTV be "pro women " and allow this to go on? So, I have nothing but disrespect for the host, how could I watch any show she hosts. How could I support JTV with my money on a purchase? Before I knew this I purchased 3 items. They were ok, but I didn't get the guarantee on the Moissanite like others did. The GIF host also has used "unethical" methods to sell jewelry by saying cushion cuts retain value better than round cuts.

    I bought a ring set months ago and it was fine. The stone was 6 ct. (an amethyst). Just a few dollars. Recently bought another ring claiming 5.95 ct. so I thought the stone was almost like 6 cts but it was 2/3rds the size. When I called JTV they said it was because (I didn't listen to the person describing it on the tv) and they combined the stone and the ring itself to get the ct. weight. I never heard of that being done. Sounds as if they are obfuscating the truth on purpose. Bottom line: They wouldn't even pay for the outrageous $6.99 for postage to return the ring. The woman on the phone said if it was damaged they'd pay. Was she hinting I should damage it?

    The earrings did not match. One was a pretty Tanzanite color, the other was a washed-out, nearly colorless Tanzanite. JTV charges you to return items, so I contacted Live Chat for them to waive the fee. I thought this was a good idea since I was already on the Internet instead of waiting until morning and calling Customer Service. Wow, was I wrong! The Live Chat person, who called himself Zack, never bothered to read my complaint. I said the earrings did not match. He responded in a pompous, condescending manner that items don't always match the website image. He said the shipping would be waived. I didn't trust him because of his rudeness and I called Customer Service in the morning. He never bothered to do his job.

    The very nice customer service lady waived the return shipping fee. I have never been treated in that manner by any representative of any company. I will not do business with a company that employs people like this Zack. JTV really does not care about its customers at all. First, for a good customer to receive mismatched earrings is offensive, but then to be insulted by an employee is just disgraceful.

    I have many purchases over the years with JTV. I ordered a ring I had in a larger size because some stones had fallen out. They had been out of my size for a long time. The ring was huge and I sent back. JTV sent it back saying I didn't send the ring guard which I did. I contacted them but they insist they won't take it back without the guard but I already sent it, so I have a huge ring I can't wear with no ring guard. Very disappointed. Linda in their customer service really tried to help me. She said that they do get tons of items back and it's possible, it got lost, but her hands were tied. I won't ever buy from them again.

    Last November 2017, I listened to a long winded story one night on JTV, with Robert and his guest vendor. The story revolved around the Kanchanaburi Blue Sapphire mine in Burma, which was ultimately mined out. But, according to the vendor, someone discovered by the side of the mine, I believe it was in Bangladesh, rare Red Sapphires. Very few, mind you. So, I listened and thought , well maybe, and purchased a three stone Red Sapphire ring. When it arrived, I took it to a Certified Gemologist who could not verify that it was indeed a Red Sapphire. So my daughter wanted it, and I gave it to her. Then, a few months ago, I heard Nikki, on Girlfriend Night (Fridays) declare that Sapphires were every color BUT Red. Really? After this guy gave such a believable spiel?

    BTW, I hesitate to judge but the two Friday Night Girlfriends need to stop wearing garish clothes and makeup, and have their nails done professionally. I also hope neither one gets married again anytime soon, my what a lot of incessant, useless talk, yes Nikki has been there thirty years, so what. Also the guy, the greasy used car salesman guy who peddles pearls, knows nothing about pearls. I have owned genuine, verified Tahitian, Lavender and Sea Water Goldens, and they have a peacock glow to them, and are NEVER cultured. I still have the appraisals for them.

    I am sorry for those of you who have been cheated so badly. Buyer beware I suppose, and what appears to be on TV, is not necessarily so. But JTV needs to overcome the class action lawsuits and the lawsuit from a former employee, and start having some scruples about their customers, and get rid of their lying hosts, ok? I know JTV always says they have 90 million viewers at any given time, and count down the number of sales, but people need better than that. Quite frankly, I am afraid to purchase anything further. It's like rolling dice.

    I bought several expensive pieces of jewelry and loose gems between 2005 and 2008. The JTV certified gemologists/show hosts made untrue claims about the rarity and supply of Tanzanite, Red Labradorite, and Paraiba Tourmaline and grossly overstated the value of these items. I paid over $5000 for a 1.25ct Paraiba Tourmaline, $2500 each for two 1/2ct Paraiba Tourmalines, $280 for a 2ct Red Labradorite, $800 for a 5ct Labradorite, $1500 for 27 Red Labradorites under 1ct each, and over $3000 in Tanzanite.

    The hosts repeatedly stated that Paraiba Tourmaline was worth a minimum of $15000 PER CARAT and up to $30000 PER CARAT and made similar statements about the values of the other stones. After spending hundreds of dollars on appraisals, these values were false, and to this day, ten years later, they are still worth only about 50% of my purchase price.

    Yes, I understand that some things are speculative. However, when people who are supposed to be experts in their field repeatedly state that you need to buy these items now before they’re unavailable, and that they’re a great investment whose value can ONLY increase, you should be able to trust them. I feel as ripped off as I would’ve felt if my financial advisor had convinced me to invest heavily in a “sure thing” and then skipped town with my money and everyone else’s, too... I wish there was a class action lawsuit against JTV, because I would definitely join.

    I’ve purchased literally hundreds of pieces of jewelry from JTV: Bella Luce, Sparkle in Silver, Artisan of Bali (Awesome! ), Larimar, Vanna K (Awesome! ), Charles Winston, Chrome Diopside, Tanzanite, Topaz, Zircon, lab created gems, Color and Karat jewelry in gold! With extremely few exceptions, I am amazed by the quality and value of the pieces I have purchased. If you do not see a gem on TV go to JTV Website! They literally have everything for you. I have NEVER had a negative issue with returns or payment options. The people in customer service are always helpful and polite. I HIGHLY recommend JTV to fellow “SPARKLIE” lovers!

    I see that a lot of reviewers have had really bad experiences, but mine have pretty good, with the exception of a couple of things... The GOOD... I stick to the Bella Luce line, and have had pretty good luck with that. I have in the past, ordered a couple of those "rose gold over", and "yellow gold over" pieces, but have found that BOTH of those treatments look REALLY cheap, and the surface tends to have a "bubbled" look in some spots. When I started buying only the rhodium plated sterling silver pieces, I haven't had any more issues as far as quality. I DID however, have to return ONE ring, because it had a bent prong, and one of the side stones was out, IN THE BAG. It went back.

    Shipping... As far as the high shipping fees both ways, as far as I am concerned, if you have to send something back, it should NOT have to cost you $6.99, but that's the only way to be able to track your returned item. You COULD send it back on your own using their address, and buying your own postage, but then you can't prove that you sent it back (unless you pay for insurance and tracking, which might total $6.99 anyway).

    Now, the BAD part... STAY AWAY from their JTV Preferred card, as it is backed by Comenity Bank, and that bank is the WORST financial institution ever! JTV "promises" that you will have 6 months "same as cash" when nothing could be further from the truth! Either JTV hasn't researched Comenity Bank enough... or they don't care! Comenity charges fees on top of fees, and no matter HOW much you pay, they will make it EXTREMELY difficult to get the account paid off! I had this experience with Comenity, through a Bridal store, and even though I paid exactly what the bill showed, EVERY month, sometimes even MORE, I was not paid off in 12 months.

    On top of THAT, they had the nerve to change me to a "revolving" account, from a "promotional" account, without my knowledge, (And charging me an additional $402 for the privilege!) and said that it was because I hadn't paid off the card in the 12 month period. I had tried MANY times to speak with someone about the fact that they were charging me INTEREST, (when they weren't supposed to be) and that my balance was not going down, no matter HOW much I paid! The woman I spoke with, kept saying that she couldn't do anything about it, and when I asked for a supervisor, she said the same thing. I continued to make additional payments because I didn't want it to go on my credit, and even after ANOTHER year of paying, the balance was STILL almost as much as the original credit limit! It was like a student loan... I couldn't seem to pay it off!

    I finally called and asked for a "payoff" date, and since I knew how they were, I added a week's worth of extra money in interest, because I knew that the payment would take a few days to reach them, and I didn't want them to say that it wasn't paid off due to the additional charges for the travel time of the mail. They told me that it was $833, so I sent $840 just in case. I FINALLY had them paid off, and I have NEVER used that card again, and I would advise anyone who doesn't have a regular credit card, or debit card, NOT to get the JTV Preferred card, since it's backed by Comenity. It's POISON!

    JTV allows you to return your purchases using their labels. This costs at least $6.99. Well, if you use priority mail it costs 6.70 and trust me, if you have more than one item, it's more cost effective to use USPS Priority Mail. Lately, JTV has no quality standards in their products, have changed the look of their shows (they look like the cheap channel that I don't trust), use camera angles and lighting to make the item look so much better than it does when you receive it. Think about this, is JTV really concerned about customer satisfaction? They used to be but not anymore. It's sad because I really liked some of their Bella Luce pieces. Even the preowned pieces are HORRIBLE. JTV does not even try to clean up the pieces and will send returned pieces that were returned because of damage. BUYER BEWARE!!! The JTV of old is not the JTV of today. I am so disappointed with the downward spiral of JTV.

    I sent back this so called Blue Sapphire & diamond simulant stack ring, the stones fell out on the 3rd day. The so called stones in this ring when they fell out they felt like plastic, and when I tapped the ones that fell out on the table they sounded like plastic. CHEAP! I called JTV to tell them I sent order back and give them the tracking # of return package. I was told I would more than likely NOT get a full refund (I sent before 30 day return period).     I have ordered and received a lot of jewelry that just didn't look like or have the quality that the company represents on tv. I always pay an excessive amount for shipping and the sales representatives misrepresent most of the products. The camera always zooms in making the jewelry look bigger and brighter than it really is. Most of the jewelry comes from China and just doesn't have the quality that the hosts portray. Most of the hosts exaggerate the products quality, value and durability and use deceptive sales tactics including outright lying.

    Purchased a 14K Rose Gold Engagement Ring with Pink Morganite Gemstone as a gift for my grandson to give to his girlfriend for their engagement. Gave the unopened gift (from online store) to my grandson in May of 2017. When she came for Christmas holiday 6 mos. later I excitedly asked to see it.     I have made 2 orders and the 2 I've canceled. They call me to confirm zip code. I made the JTV account and my husband pays my stuff.     The 4.25CTW Oval blue sapphire/sterling silver earrings cost $129.99USD. The "sapphire" had absolutely no fire. This is probably the cheapest looking ring I have seen in a very long time.     I have been a customer of JTV since 2014. I have been fairly pleased with their products, but there have been a few bumps along the road. To be fair, JTV has fixed and/or corrected any issues. The latest problem... a ring purchased in 2016. It's never been worn, and kept in the box with an anti tarnish paper. I took it out to wear, removed the tag and noticed the tarnish on the gold over silver band. I know I didn't have insurance, but called to see what they could do. I was surprised to hear that all I had to do was ship it back and the label provided (which I still had). They said they will polish it at no charge! I was thrilled.

    JTV is not perfect... But, for the most part, I have been very happy. When I am not, I have 30 days to return it. Often, call customer service and explain the reason, and they will pay the return label making it complimentary. Four years later, I am still doing business with them. That says a lot in my book. Sadly, there is one pair of bands that no longer sparkle. They were my first purchase. Let's see what JTV does.

    I ordered a ring from JTV. It was never delivered. I kept checking my mailbox. When a few days had passed the estimated delivery date I checked online the tracking information. The site had shown the item was delivered. When I saw that I contacted customer service to say I did not receive my order. At this point they told me they would send a claim form to fill out then they would send the product once received. I received the form filled it out and sent back. Now it's a month later and I still did not receive the jewelry.

    I have been a regular customer with JTV for over ten years. They used to have nice quality jewelry and great prices. I was always happy with my purchases. Over the last few years their quality has started to slip. I began to be dissatisfied with my purchases more often than not. I received defective items on several occasion, and the overall quality of the jewelry they sell has declined significantly. Granted, you always have 30 days to return your item, but you have to pay for shipping. I have contacted Customer Service on several occasions, and they always fail to make me happy. They have never gone above and beyond to help me.

    The last item I purchased was a gold band ring. The website did not disclose that it was hollow, so I assumed it was solid. Most of their gold pieces do disclose that they are hollow. After wearing it for a little while, I suspected it was hollow. I contacted them to confirm that it was hollow, and it was. I expected to be able to return the ring even though it was past my 30 day period because the fact that it is hollow was not disclosed. They refused to make an exception. I will never be shopping with them again. The quality of most of their jewelry is terrible these days, and it seems that they don't really care if their customers are happy or not.

    I purchased a bracelet with kyanite stones in 14kt gold. The latch did not work so I took it to my jeweler. I was told it couldn’t be repaired because the stones are molded glass and the gold is gold plated. I contacted Jewelry TV and was told by Freddy that they had issues with another vendor selling them molded glass. He checked and determined that this was another vendor. Freddy was supposed to send me a return envelope with prepaid postage. He then said they would have their in-house appraiser look at it.

    Ten days later I received a letter telling me how to return the item. Why should I have to pay for the return. I called again and spoke with Kristi. Kristi was rude and condescending, like it was my fault. In the meantime, the same item is still being offered for sale as it keeps popping up on my social media. This company is fraudulent and needs to be stopped. I paid over $800.00 for this bracelet and they are not doing anything for me. They are also not doing anything for other customers that have bought these molded glass bracelets.

    On September 27, 2017 I received an ad on my Facebook stream that they were selling an item for $99.99. When I called to order the item I was told that they did not advertise on Facebook and the customer service rep hung up on me. I called back and got a supervisor who told me it was a fake ad and refused to sell me the item for the advertised price.     I ordered over $500 worth of jewelry for my daughter's wedding. I even paid for express shipping. I received 2 out of the 3 items. When I called the company they said that the third item would be shipped out and I would receive it in a couple of days at no shipping cost to me. One week later, I get a letter from the company asking me to fill out a form saying the item did not arrive. I had to fill out the form and send it back to the company.     I have ordered from JTV on several occasions and have had rings, necklaces, bracelets etc. Many of these items I've had to return either the turn, the stones break off or the stones fall out of the item. I ordered a ring and after seeing it turn on my finger I thought that maybe they were suppose to tell me I was limited as to how long I could wear it. I sent it back letting them know that if that item changed colors I don't want that one again to please send me an item I wrote down in its place. They sent me the same item back so I called customer care and this guy that was on the line I tried to explain what happened to the ring and that I requested a different item. So he went on to tell me that they don't do that. They would send me the same item back. I told him that they have done it before and he goes on to tell me that he has been there 20 yrs and have never seen that done.

    I told him not to be rude but I don't care if you were there 50 yrs. I know what was done for me. I went on to say that I would be letting the BBB know how they run things and how rude their customer service team is. He told me, "Well you do what you need to and contact who you need to but it is what it is." Their products are cheap and fake and they fall apart at any given time. I know if this gets on their review I'll be lucky because someone on here said that they didn't put her review up and they gave her some lame story as to why about a third party. I guess their items are third party as well from China while they get on our TVs and lie saying this item is made by a certain designer and what stones they are and all the while the whole company is a money scam... Good liars though. They almost made a believer out of me. So if this isn't put up on the review board for others to see it will be on the BBB, Facebook, and Twitter and Instagram for all to know about you.

    I received an email with a coupon. I clicked the link, found something that qualified, went to check out and got the message that the coupon was not applicable. So I got on live chat and the rep asked me lots of questions which proved that my purchase did meet the requirements for the coupon, but all she finally said was she couldn't figure out why it wouldn't take it, "sorry".

    So I tried placing the order with a live human and they couldn't get it to work, either, but didn't know why. So basically they said too bad, so sad, let's place the order anyway. I said absolutely not. It was a big order, too, but nothing I couldn't live without. Now I have a bad taste in my mouth for JTV and will stick with QVC, who honors all coupons even if they have to manually input it. THAT is good customer service!

    I became the customer 2 or 3 months ago. I bought 21 or 22 pieces of jewelry from JTV for neck, wrist, finger, etc. Most of the time I received it at home, I was disappointed. Either, the items were over-priced and did not worth the price they charged me, or they seemed used or returned item. One time, I bought a set of pendant and ring and on TV, they seemed to be a match on the sales person's demo; but when I received it at home, they had a champagne color for the pendant but white stone for the ring. I complained about it, they said to return it back to them. One time, I ordered silver pendant and they sent me gold with gold chain and charged me arm and leg. Ensure whatever you order, it is what you get.

    A few days ago, I was wearing the moonstone ring that I got from JTV to my office, place of my business. I went to get something from my car parked in the parking lot and all of a sudden I heard something light hit the ground. I looked at my ring and I noticed the moonstone was missing. This ring does not have a prong to keep the stone secure in its place. It seems like they just put the stone in the center and there is nothing to keep the stone secure in the center. I looked back couple of steps and found the stone on the ground and chipped off. I called the JTV today, Sat and since there was no customer service, I asked to talk to the shift manager. I complained about workmanship and told him I'd like to return the ring and get another one. He said: "You probably dang it somewhere and we cannot take it back because it is outside 30 days window and this is a impasse!

    I tried to explain that I was wearing it, but because there is no prong to hold it secure in place, the stone fell out of its holder and hit and chipped. This is not my fault. I did not hit the stone to the wall, door, or another object. It fell by itself and I want it to be replaced. This is manufacturer's fault and I should not pay for their guarantee of their product. I cannot predict what could go wrong and when. In reality, there should be no place for anything to go wrong if it is a good quality ring.

    In the case of this moonstone ring, the manufacturer of the ring did not secure the stone in the center and it got separated from its place holder and hit the ground and that was not my fault; it was the poor quality workmanship of manufacturer who did not make a reliable, secure holder for the center stone! As such, I have to receive a replacement for the ring from the manufacturer. The gentleman that I spoke from JTV was just arguing with me and would not understand what I had to say and I strongly want a replacement for my moon stone!!!

    I am writing regarding a bracelet that had a stone fall out. I contacted JTV customer care to see if they could fix it. I mentioned that the missing stone was a heart shaped larimar, which I believed would be unlikely replaceable. The nice rep told me to send it in for them to look at. I agreed and said it would only be worth it (due to shipping) if they could call me to discuss options BEFORE returning it to me. She said she notated that in the system, and that I should also write that on my return slip, which I did. My plan was to ask if they could use a stone near the clasp and switch it with the missing stone since the bracelet was slightly large on me anyway.

    I received the bracelet returned back to me in the mail, with a note saying the bracelet could not be repaired or sized. I NEVER received the call as requested and promised! I contacted customer care, and the rep told me she saw the note regarding my request for a call; however, it was after hours and I should call tomorrow. I called again the following day and was told that no such note existed in their system!! Not only did I waste money on shipping, but now somebody is lying to me! I asked if they would cover my shipping cost in light of this and was told no, it was against their policy. I am now thoroughly disgusted with JTV and no longer trust them! Due to this, they have lost a customer. See 'ya JTV!

    I shopped here for five months before I realized that they don't even have some of the most common gemstone jewelry. Shopping networks like HSN, QVC and ShopHQ have jewelry in rhodolite garnet, emeralds, sapphires and Sleeping Beauty turquoise. During the time I was shopping this site, there were none of the above listed gems in jewelry. The only sapphire I saw during one of the shows was LAB CREATED and those were loose gemstones.

    In fact, they have a LOT of lab created gems, i.e., blue spinel, alexandrite, etc. Also, their diamond simulant, Bella Luce, is way over-priced. I don't see tanzanite jewelry anymore either. They do NOT grade their gemstones, either. I'm not going to pay $5K for a 14K diamond ring with without graded diamonds, thank you! One of the hosts recently made the statement that they are the "biggest and the best." In my opinion, that's totally false advertisement. If that's the case, where are all the exotic and rare gems such as Marialite, Vivianite, Ruby Zoisite, Norwegian Thulite, Austrian Pinolith, Vesuvianite, and the list goes on.

    I was contacted by JTV to take a survey regarding their company. I was prompted through a series of questions which appeared typical for this type of survey. With one exception. They were interested in knowing my age. Being many many years older than a minor and now a senior, the age thing was curious. If I shop at Macy's they don't care how old I am.

    Then I was asked about whether I used other sites for shopping, which I specified "NO". I really didn't think this had anything to do with my business with them. I was quickly notified that I did not "qualify" to take the survey. Strange using the term "qualify" when sending the inquiry to begin with. My quick reaction was if I did not qualify for the survey, then I was not qualified to continue as one of their customers. My closing comment was "So long, JTV."

    I have read several negative remarks concerning JTV and I'm a little alarmed. As of today I have ordered many pieces from them and I'm very pleased with my items. I had an issue with one item. I called told them of the problem, they told me to return it with no issues. They are always polite and when I call. I even had an issue with the payment which was my fault. I thought I had finished paying off an item then I tried to purchase another item. They told me I had missed a payment and once I paid that off I could begin to charge again.     How many times I have customers warned to stay away from JTV and their swindling and lying hosts. They have been trained to use every trick in the book to scam and rip the customers off, and people still believe those crooks and shysters. JTV and JTV customer service stole out of a debit card account $749.49. They had emptied the whole account. Plus one overdraft Wells Fargo paid and knew something was very wrong here, got in contact with the card holder. Yes.. The money was stolen by JTV and JTV customer service. The bank wanted to file a lawsuit against JTV if that stolen money was not returned at once. A new card was issued with new numbers, JTV did all that in 2 days’ time at different times of the day and different amounts.

    JTV and their peddlers fly by night crooks and those swindling hosts, peddle fake manmade plastic concoctions for real gemstones. Fake metal, when the claim 18k gold over other metal, it turned to be gold tone, rose tone or silver tone, a cheap substitute they use for plating cheap custom jewelry. Fake Russian alexandrite, a manmade concoction. Fake colors, they never exist in the authentic Russian alexandrite. I put a picture of the real authentic Russian alexandrite on Facebook. I owned one for a little while, the seating was too high, and I lost the stone, that was in the 80th, but I never will forget that rarest of them all gemstone, a solid piece of rock, not transparent.

    Do not purchase any of JTV’s junk jewelry or stones, you will be ripped off 100% guaranteed. Many times I wrote on Facebook. Stay away from JTV, you be the loser, when they advertise their credit card, it is like a gimmick. People called in with excellent credit for a credit card from JTV...but never got a response. JTV does not want for you to get JTV’s credit card for this reason. They prevent the people use their own credit cards, reason? They can steal money out of people’s credit cards, but they can't out of their credit card. When will people learn to stay away from JTV, known all over for being the most dishonest, most crooked shopping channel on the internet. Peddling trash and junk. One good thing, sales at JTV are way down. Customers are leaving. So JTV has to come up with fake gimmicks

    And never send your gold to JTV. Never. You will never see it again or pieces missing or they give to you a tiny amount of money, where JTV promised to you to send you more than other places. Do not ship your gold to JTV or any other shopping channel. You will be out of your gold, stay away from JTV, your card is an open book. JTV can steal as much money out of your card as they want. Day or night. Also your card numbers can be sold, take this warning serious, very serious... If there is any way I can ever include a picture of the real Russian alexandrite, let me know. If you ever purchased from JTV or any other shopping channel a fake Russian alexandrite, you can file a lawsuit against them. I stand behind everything I say or write.

    Feeling Ripped-Off. After recently losing my husband I purchased a bracelet from JTV as a Christmas present for myself. I never received the bracelet. I reported the issue to them and they denied the claim stating that I must contact my local police department and notify them of the loss.     I tried to check orders I placed on the telephone - www.JTV.com - my account had no history of any orders. I have ordered at least 20 separate items since Feb 2017 - I called customer service JTV. They told me, "If you order on the phone it is a separate account and the internet account will not show any of the orders placed on the telephone." If I want any information regarding phone orders on my account I have to call their customer service for any and all phone orders. I asked for a bill to be mailed to me with all orders placed and all orders returned. I was told a e-mail would be sent to me with this information. I too think it is ridiculous that you are not able to check your orders online and also cannot pay off STRETCH PAYMENTS. I am a avid internet buyer (QVC has your account online with any order or returned items listed). You can pay off existing payments. Has anyone else had this problem with JTV?

    Several times now, for several orders and products purchased, Jewelry Television did not post the reviews I wrote. The reviews were 2 and 3 stars and mentioned flaws in the products. There were other reviews posted, at later dates and from other people, that were 4 and 5 star reviews. Those reviews got posted. It seems like false advertising on the part of JTV to censor reviews in this way. I have to question the legitimacy of the product reviews they have posted on their site, and I have to wonder how many other negative ones were left off. I suppose that could be considered false advertising. It's a shame because some of the products I like, but I think honesty is important when dealing with companies.

    When I called in to place my order for 2 items they said they would be delivered by 2/17 and charged my account right away. After inquiring when my next bill date would be for the 2nd installment I was told from the order date not the ship date or received date. I received the email for the order confirmation and a 2nd requesting feedback even prior to the item being shipped let alone received. After a few more days (well over a week at this point) I called customer service to find out when the items would be shipping. I was told by 1 person that one of the items was out of stock which was holding up the order. That person transferred me to another person who said the opposite and that my order was being processed at that very moment to be shipped and that he would expedite the shipping at no cost and it would ship the next day and I'd receive an email confirmation.

    3 days later, no shipping confirmation and certainly no 2 shipping was done. Again, I called into customer service at which point I was told by now a third person that the order hadn't yet shipped because they needed to verify the name and address on my debit card with my bank and that hadn't been done yet. This is now past the 2/17 day of quoted delivery. At that point I told the representative to cancel the order altogether, which she didn't seem to care much about. Funny, when I went to check my bank account, at the very moment I was requesting her to cancel the order my account was charged for the 2nd installment. Thankfully all of the charges were reversed but what kind of a business operates that way? Not one I'll buy from that's for sure. I'll stick with HSN or QVC - I've never had any issues with either of them in the past.

    PLEASE USE EXTREME CAUTION if you choose to order from JTV. As of Feb. 2017 I have been a customer for 1 year now. JTV has to be the most deceiving companies I have ever seen in my life. Yeah, they may have a 30-day return policy but it's at the CUSTOMER'S expense. I should have returned more than half of the items I ordered. The quality wasn't good to begin with and the last few items I ordered looked like I got them out of a gumball machine, just embarrassing to wear!!! The sizing is almost always off on the rings, there seems to be no quality control whatsoever. I've received items that were obviously worn and returned and it did not state that they were pre-owned when I purchased them and I was charged FULL price.

    Be careful when ordering online. When it says "Free Shipping Sitewide" check your cart because I have caught them adding shipping charges for each item on more than 1 occasion. I tried reporting this to customer service for 4 days in a row and nothing was done about it - when I asked if the customers who were ordering online would be credited for their error they put me on hold and I was disconnected within 5 minutes. I've had numerous "ghost" charges on SEVERAL items I've put on "stretch Pay" and have never been refunded a penny on it.

    Furthermore, I have learned that they have "offsite vendors" so when you hear the hosts saying to "Hurry up and order" DON'T DO IT!!! They will replenish the stock within 24 hours by calling the "vendor". I've watched this happen with at least 20 plus items over the past year. They are false advertising and that is against the law!!! I've had lost shipments several times also - filing a claim is like pulling teeth with these people! They will do almost anything NOT to refund their customers. I don't like the fact that most of the items I have purchased have "MADE IN CHINA" on them - the quality is horrible! I prefer to buy American - thank you very much!

    Buyers beware when ordering jewelry from JTV. Half the jewelry items I have bought have been returned because the high end quality of the jewelry is completely lacking. Was eagerly awaiting arrival of a heart and crystal necklace which wasn't even done in real silver which cost $52.00. It arrived with crystals missing and was dull in color. Ordered a fleur de lis necklace which was said to have expensive moissanite which is comparable to look of genuine diamonds. Had a price tag of $90.00. The pendant lacks sparkle and is smaller than head size of a penny.

    Went to write a review on their site and couldn't because I only got a screen saying I was leaving a secure area and was unable to find anywhere on their actual site which would allow me to write a review. I love unusual gemstone jewelry and wish I could find a reasonably priced jewelry site which offers consistent quality on their pieces. It's so frustrating that JTV and several other sites selling jewelry only offer a 30 day return policy. Sometimes you don't wear a new piece of jewelry until a month after receiving it, and then something breaks or stones fall out, etc., the first time you wear it.

    I bought a Peridot ring and really liked it. Wore it a few times when one of the stones fell out. It was just over the 30 day period, so I contacted customer service. They told me they couldn't do anything for me since I didn't buy the extended warranty. (Also stating that my situation was a very rare occurrence. If that's the case, why buy the extended warranty? And if it's that rare, why not stand behind their product.) I really like the ring, and they were running a sale that had it greatly reduced, so I went ahead and purchased another one, with the warranty. I wrote a review for their site, explaining the stone fell out after a few wears, but it was never published. When I asked about that, they said all reviews go through an independent company who selects which ones to publish. Hmmm. I doubt mine will ever be seen. Buyer beware!

    I waited a while before I ordered anything from this particular company. I thought that I did hard that I could do to check to make sure good day will the ones that are wanted to order something fast. Well I finally did and they were the nicest on the phone when you're ordering but unfortunately we have a problem. There is nobody to call and if you call them when they're on TV live then mean and "I tell you we can help you get in touch with customer service." Well don't you think I tried 20 times. Never got back to me and then I find out that they go through a Thing Called live stream where they could be in California and where they connected to Good Day New York and we could walk away get off the air at any time and that right there scared me.

    I love jewelry and I sometimes buy a lot of it. I don't need it to be expensive, but I do need the stones to be real. I need it to be well made. I found JTV and bought many things there. They were having specials on buying an item and paying for them in payments. So, I bought quite a few items. The payments were great for me, not only because it seemed easier to pay for, but I could bring some of these items home and check them out before I used all my money on a couple of items that weren't all that good and had to go back. But suddenly I got an error message. Then I didn't get a message. Then I did.

    I finally called to find what was going on. I ended up with a rude, and I mean rude, person in customer service. She said there was a limit to how much I could put on payment plans. I asked if any of that was written anywhere, and no it wasn't. Then she said I had to pay an extraordinary amount of cash, right then, or they would cancel all my purchases. I couldn't even figure that out because for several months they had ridiculous errors on their site so that the pictures didn't go with the numbers and that didn't go with the description. I couldn't figure out anything with no information. I told them it was their fault and they should fix it without messing with me.

    To make a long story short, this woman, after promising to call me and straighten it out, just cancelled all pending orders. She did it in such a way that I didn't realize it until much later when all items were put back and most were gone so I couldn't rebuy anything. I went around and around with them about how much I owed. I didn't get things they charged me for and told me to figure it out. I have never seen a company in such a mess. I have tried to use them here and there but I have been very careful.

    I also know that so many of their new rules aren't written anywhere to read. After trying to buy a few things this year, I spent time on the internet trying, I had to call and ask questions. Then when I was finally really to hit buy, it told me they were having problems with something on the order. There was nothing on the order that was marked. After a couple of tries, I had to call and do it all over the phone. I haven't received this order yet so I don't know if I have another problem or not. The woman in customer care I am sure was not reprimanded at all. No one seemed to care.

    My other complaint is the quality of their stones has gone down a lot. There used to be an unwritten rule that a certain type of diamond was not put in jewelry because it was too flawed. Now they are putting terrible diamonds in their items. Diamonds that are black with flaws. They started using white topaz instead which I approved of. Now I ordered a pair of earrings and both had terribly flawed white topaz also. They can't even keep small topazes clear. I am not sure at all that I will be shopping with them for much longer. They are going downhill in their quality too fast for me.

    I purchased 6 rings from JTV. After 30 days one of the stones fell out. I will never order from them again. The rings said made in China. So I guess that's why their jewelry is made so cheap. They have good prices but the quality sucks.

    I have only been a customer with JTV since Dec. 2015 and in that time, I have had too many issues with their automated ordering and payment system. So far, I have had 4 issues with ordering online. One of these times, I made a purchase online and wanted to pay by PayPal balance. As I tried to finalize the order, an error message had come up saying there was an issue with processing it and to try putting the order through again. I went through the process again, logging into my PayPal account, and I immediately noticed that the money for the order had been taken out of my PayPal account balance. Why was their automated system taking money, if the order had not been finalized yet?

    I also discovered that their automated ordering system, on this second time trying to put the order though, tried to charge a credit card that I had on file with PayPal. Again the order had not been finalized at all, and I had not chosen "pay by credit card" in PayPal to pay for the purchase. I spend the next two days speaking with people from JTV and PayPal to try and recover the money for the purchase. JTV said they saw no order, so there was no money to return; PayPal said they could not do anything since it was the merchant (JTV) that made the charge and they have to reverse it. Finally, after 4 days, the money was refunded to me. Apparently JTV found the money in the system and returned it. Such absolute nonsense.

    Out of stupidity, I guess, I decided to give JTV another chance, and I placed another order the following week. Here, again, another ordering or processing problem occurred, this was about 6 days later, forcing me to AGAIN contact CS to help rectify the problem. For this order, I was keeping track of it online in my JTV account. When I logged into my account on JTV to check on the status of this order, the order was in some kind of "payment reconciliation" status. I knew what this was, experiencing it before. I called JTV CS and was told the payment method I used to pay for the order, could not go through. I used a prepaid Visa and the money was there on the card. What JTV's automated ordering and payment system was trying to do, was charge me AGAIN for this order it already had charged.

    The money for the order was "on hold" by JTV, according to the bank card company, so there was no need to charge me again. I had to call JTV, and the CS rep cancelled the order, which in turn, fixed the problem. Seems JTV does not care about their ordering and payment problems. Their automated system charges people for the order, whether the order goes through or not; tries to charge credit cards without orders being finalized; and tries to charge customers twice for orders already charges and all this before anything ships. It is such a terrible ordering system.

    About the quality of JTV jewelry. I have purchased many things from JTV, most of it good quality. The last two orders I received, were below acceptance merchandise. One was a pair of lab created padparadscha sapphire stud earrings. They were on clearance. When I received them, I immediately could see the stones were different colors: one was a lighter pinky orange color and the other was a deep red storage color. How does a pair of earring, with only two stones to have to match, make it out of QA? I could see if it was a multi-stone bracelet, but two earrings? I should have just kept them, but was angry, so I returned them. The other was a set of 3 stud earring pairs, again on clearance.

    Every single post, all 6 of them, were not only bent from the base of the earring in back, but looked like they were mangled, many bends in the posts. How in the world could JTV justify sending such garbage to a customer? It makes me think that JTV puts their problem, or defective, or customer returned merchandise on clearance, and hopes that the customer will just keep the junk jewelry, since shipping them back can be more that the items.

    For a company that has been around for over 20 years, it acts like a new, immature company, with their problematic automated ordering/payment system and questionable sales practices. For now, I will refrain from ordering from JTV. Too many negative things have happened to make me want to do business with them, anytime soon.

    I have purchased (and returned) several items. I had purchased an Ethiopian Opal Cross Necklace. When I went to clean it, it turned YELLOW. I have never had that happen, and I have lots of opals. I called JTV Customer Service and they said it would turn back - which it did (a little duller, though.) I still think this is a fake stone as I've NEVER had any of my opals do this before. I just have to assume that it is very cheap. I won't purchase from them again. The diamonds are dull. The stones go dull after a few months. (Had this happen with two Cor-De-Rosa Morganite rings.)

    I purchased a London blue topaz and Ethiopian opal bracelet to match a ring purchased two weeks before this purchase. One opal stone fell out the first time I put the bracelet on. I put the stone back in. Two weeks later, a different opal stone fell out of the bracelet. I contacted JTV customer service via chat window. I was told that I could send it in for repair and the repair wouldn't cost anything because it was sent in before the initial 30 days of ownership. So, I returned the bracelet for repair. Instead of fixing the bracelet as I was assured could be done, they issued a refund. The problem is I offered to take it to a local jeweler to get a new opal stone to fix the bracelet locally, and JTV said just send it to them.

    Now, I cannot get my bracelet back like I was told, and they cannot return the defective bracelet to me to have fixed locally. I won't ever be able to find a bracelet that matches my ring perfectly. If I had not returned it to JTV, and fixed it locally, I would still have the bracelet. They shouldn't lie to customers telling them they can have something repaired and then don't repair it. I am out a very unique bracelet!!! And, to buy something like this elsewhere will be impossible!

    Not sure about all the other negative reviews but after reading them, I was horrified that I had a "ghost charge" on my account and was dreading calling and dealing with CS.     I purchased items and returned them without a signature required, only to be told they had not been received. Also I had more than 1 item in the returns package, some were refund, a couple were "not in the package" with other items, so no proof of return therefore no refund. I received 2 letters on 2 different purchases saying that the "vendor" made a mistake and the gems were not real but synthetic. This was almost 8 months after purchase date. JTV said I could return it if I wanted but "that I should be assured the synthetic was of the same quality". Sent them back as well and of course another no refund to account. Recently they changed their annual percentage rate. For a $80.00 payment, $51.00 is interest charges. Rip off company, don't even bother with.

    I order some jewelry 4/23. The "order taker" misspelled my name, address and item number. He guaranteed me delivery within 5 business days, which was fine. As it turns out, the item could not be located and the "warehouse" would not answer the company's emails for 2 days. I canceled as I was fed up. I decided to give them another chance, not that I like self-abuse. They said that they felt bad for me because of the grief that they put me through and they would knock off 10% off the price as well as next day my order to me. Well, I come to find out that they "lost" the order again. They also said that no money would be touched from my bank account until it was shipped. They hit my account immediately.     I ordered a ring on March 2nd, 2016. It was supposed to be here on March 10th. It's March 15th and no ring. Called CS and a very nice woman Pam is trying to figure out what happened. It's apparently in Atlanta. Probably at our local slow, dead and swimming in the wrong direction post office. Home of ready to retire folk.

    So at least THIS customer service rep. Pam is trying to find out what is going on with this delivery.

    However, the last purchase from JTV.com got me a male employee with a pronounced East Indian or Pakistani accent. This purchase was "free shipping" but this man insisted that shipping was $6.99. I argued with him until I asked to speak to his supervisor and Presto Chango ~ He agreed it was 'free shipping'. I did ask a month later if JTV.com had outsourced their CS and was told, no and they never had a man of that description working for them. BIG LIE. I found out that they did and "he is no longer employed by JTV.com." But I had to dig for this info. Still waiting for my ring, though. I will have to cancel the order if it doesn't get here by March 20th. Ten days after it was supposedly sent. I have bought more than a few pieces from this site and haven't had any problems before. Hopefully, Pam will be able to find out where is my ring!

    I ordered a ring online in February of 2016. For some reason, the order would not go through. I really wanted the ring, so I called to place the order over the phone. I asked the Customer Service rep to make sure the original order did not go through. She assured me that it did not, and asked me if I had placed an order yet in 2016. I told her I had not placed one since December. She said since my credit card had a chip in it, they required everybody to call in to place the order and would not let it go through over the internet so that they could update their database on cards with chips.

    I checked my credit card statement an hour later and there were two charges on there for the one ring. I called Customer Service again, and again was on the phone with them for nearly an hour. They looked in the computer and swore that the order only went through once. When I explained about the credit card charge, they put me on hold for a long time. When they came back, they said they had checked with the credit department who assured them that that was a temporary charge which would drop off within 48 hours. Not only did it not drop off, but I received the ring twice, three days apart.

    If that wasn't bad enough, the two rings were completely different from each other as far as the stone. It was supposed to be teal colored fluorite. One was bright shamrock green, and the other was so dark it was black with no color at all. I emailed them to complain about receiving it twice after being promised by three different people that the second order had not gone through. I waited four days for a response that did not come, so I emailed them again. I got a nasty response saying that they had already responded to me on Tuesday (which of course they hadn't). There was absolutely no apology for their mistake.

    The email was very rude and they told me to send the ring back. I sent it back, and they did credit me for the ring, but they were also doing a fundraiser the day I ordered the ring and if you gave a $5 donation, they would take a percentage off your order, so I did the donation. They have not refunded that money despite me telling them that I in no way authorized two donations. This entire thing was their fault and they have been unapologetic and rude. Today, after demanding the donation be refunded for the third time, I got an email saying that these things take time and they expected it to be refunded back to me at some point. No idea whether I will get that money back or if they fraudulently took a second donation that I did not authorize.

    You also can not trust the reviews on their website at all. If you post anything negative, you will not see your review posted. They only post the ones that cast them in a very positive light. I even sent a photo in of the two rings side by side so that people could see how inconsistent the color was. You will never see that review on their website because they do not want people to have anything negative to say. Very shady way to do business. I've had problems with them in the past, but this was the final straw. Avoid JTV!

    I have ordered only one item online. When I checked my bank account, found out that I was charged twice for the only item I have ordered. I called customer service rep., which was very rude and even hostile, almost yelling throughout our conversation. When asked why I was charged twice for the item I have ordered, she said that, in fact, there was one time hold of the amount of charge but it looks that I've been charge twice until the bank release the amount of money. That was a bogus explanation! In fact, I received 2 items and charged twice. I called the customer rep. again and she hanged up on me! I called again CSR (customer service rep.) and they told me to return the items at their shipping and handling cost. The returning labels are not free and the post office doesn't take their words!     I am highly upset that I didn't read these reviews before I purchased this ring. I ordered and received my ring in a reasonable amount of time. But as soon as I opened the package, tried it on, took it off, and the diamond was gone!! Can you imagine how I felt!! I couldnt believe it!! I immediately called customer service. They asked if I wanted to exchange it. I said, "No"!! The diamonds were cloudy as well. Guess that's what I get for shopping for quality with unqualified companies!! Be careful.     Ordered a 5.5 carat ring and received it on May 2015. However, in November 2015, due to a faulty prong, ( unknown to me) one small diamond fell out. I called JTV and they said just return it for repair. When it was delivered back to me I fully expected that the company had repaired the faulty prong and replaced the small diamond. The ring came back with the following information, "No stone available to repair". No other explanation was offered. JTV did not call me or seek to resolve the situation, they simply returned the 5.5 carat ring supposedly in the same condition in which it was sent to them. This company has your money and you have their faulty product. You have no recourse except to purchase an additional warranty to insure the ring. Had I purchased the warranty they could have helped me. I suggest you use a local jeweler that will stand behind your purchase.

    I ordered an online jewelry business course that was advertised on TV ON SALE for $144.99. BUT, after looking at the website I found the same course is $119.97. I've been disputing this for over two 2 months. Finally, a supervisor returned my phone call. I was told there is no such online course offered, yet I was looking at the course web page as we spoke.     I was looking for a certain gemstone ring and found JTV, and placed my order through flex pay on 10-23. I received a phone call from some lady at JTV 10/ 29, didn't even catch her name I was so upset. She told me that they were having problems matching up my address to the credit card, and I told her "you mean you haven't even taken the money out yet?" She said no, well she said she could call the bank and confirm the address. I told her "forget it, just cancel the order since now I didn't have enough money in the bank." I lied. I then called my bank and the address matches on my CC.

    I then called JTV back and re-ordered the ring since I really want it and she said she wanted to get it for me at the same price, which I looked back and it wasn't, but it was basically under a few dollars so it really didn't matter. On 11- 2 I called JTV back as the order even though it said estimated delivery on 11-9 it still said processing and the money still had NOT been taken out of my account. Well the lady I talked to said since I confirmed the address she would contact billing and have the order expedited. I also was told that with brand new customers they sometimes had problems with the orders. Now after reading all these complaints I'm wondering IF I've made a mistake. I already have a nice "Wish List" on JTV. Now the order says delivery date 11-8, haha that's on a Sunday!!! If I get it on the 9th I'll be pleasantly surprised.

    They change the dates of your purchase so you can't cancel the shipment. I placed an order on a day in Oct, and when I went back to my account, they made it look like the order had been placed 2 days before, and the item shipped on the following day. Which was 24 h BEFORE I placed the order. Additionally, they don't send you the PO number so again, you can't cancel the shipment. If this is not disgraceful (and most probably illegal) business practice, I don't know what is!

    I have been shopping JTV for over a year and a half. I never had a problem with customer service till now. I will never give them my business again after spending over $10,000 already. I bought a moissanite ring for a birthday gift. They not only did not send me the ring in the picture, they sent me the wrong size. My friend gave me three numbers for a moissanite ring but her size was sold out on all three. A few days later a size six came in, which means it was a return. They tell you they don't sell returned items but they do. I have gotten about ten+ returned items. I got the ring and gave it to my friend for her birthday. It was supposed to have prongs holding the main stone. It even showed that on my receipt. It didn't.

    It was also a size seven, not six. I wear a size seven and could fit on all my fingers. I can't fit in a size six. We went online and there was only one picture when I bought it, the same on my receipt. Now they had more pictures. I called customer service as I have had to do many times before, in fact too many times! They said since it is past the 30 day grace period I could return it for a 25% stocking fee! I asked if at least they could size it to the size I ordered since I should have noticed that it didn't have any prongs. They said no. I now have a expensive ring that no one has worn or ever will.

    I'm tired of dealing with customer service for missing stones, a main stone that fell out of a $500 ring, getting returned earrings where the previous owner has changed backs, and the biggest problem I had was a pair of moissanite goblet earrings I bought. I lost one, so I ordered another pair and the new pair looked nothing like the first pair after buying three pairs from different inventories. I gave up and realized they just were making them worse as moissanite got more popular. They looked smaller and the end of the goblet prongs were folded over and just didn't look like the one I didn't lose. That was a crying shame because I wore them everyday. I ordered a different type and they don't have the sparkle like the other ones. I could go on and on. My last complaint is when I bought a loupe, some gem stones I bought had cracks inside.

I have filed a complaint when I saw my order history with orders I did not make nor received. To date, I am very leery about their integrity.     I purchased several items on 8/9, received a phone call from Customer Service last week wanting to confirm my alternate shipping address. I explained to them I was shipping the goods to my office. They said they would allow it this time but in the future I would have to ship to my billing address or add my business address to my credit card. It is now the 18th and still no email confirming shipment.

    I called them again this morning and they said they called me last week to confirm my alternate shipping address and I hadn't called them back. I explained to them that yes I did call them back. After being put on hold for an extended length of time someone else came on the line. I told her I just wanted what I ordered, again she stated I needed to confirm my alternate shipping address, I confirmed it a third time and she told me again that in the future I would have to use my billing address. I asked her "why then do you even have a spot to put in an alternate shipping address if you cannot send to one?" She told me that once I'm an established customer I can ship to an alternate address. By the time this conversation was over, I cancelled all my orders and will never shop there again. I'll shop at QVC.

    I will say as irritated as I was, she was pleasant to me (which is why I gave them 2 stars), but their shipping policies and customer care follow-up are terrible. Explain how I was to know when placing my order that I couldn't ship to an alternate address? Nowhere on the order form did it say if you are not an established customer you cannot ship to a non-billing address. Totally crazy, and I've never heard of such a thing. What if this had been a gift? I will never shop there again. Way too stressful.

    I bought a lot of rings from the company. There is only a short time you can return them under warranty, unless you buy the extended warranty blah, blah, blah. Just go to the jewelry store and buy a ring if you want a decent ring. Almost every ring I bought from them has lost stones or the finish has come off. It is just so sad. I bet I bought 10 or 12 rings from them. Bad investment. Don't go there. I didn't put an order number in below because so many of my orders have gone bad.

    Poor quality jewelry, unprofessional hosts, low-budget sets, desperate show themes - i.e. Girlfriend Friday, increasing prices and just overall below standard practices. TURN THE CHANNEL FOLKS!!! Once you watch real home shopping channels, you will not be able to watch JTV without cracking up... Trust me on this one. My very last and final purchase was a Zircon band ring in Silver. Very embarrassing!!! Very cloudy, no sparkle! I kept this ring as a reminder of how it feels to receive poor quality. Loving my shopping experiences elsewhere.... Better jewelry, customer service, no need to defend unprofessionalism to friends and family and not hearing scare tactics regarding the closing of gem mines. Do not "buy" in and feel sorry for the lil' ole' southern network that could. Spend your hard-earned money with a more reputable company.

    After reading these negative comments, I am worried that JTV is charging me extra flexpays! I'll call my bank and ask for a suspicious activity, i.e. the charging of the same amount by JTV multiple times, etc. My experience has been ok with them but I cannot get over how bad most of their hosts are! Most have unkempt hair and do not know much about jewelry and gemstones, (the one who's the sister of the wife of one of the JTV bigwigs being the worst host) and JTV claims they are accredited? Many hosts look and act unprofessional. I'll be very cautious from buying them in the future!

    The order rep was nice and pleasant. Placing an order was easy. Then the rep told me the company was keeping my credit card on file for future purchases and I don't have to worry because everything is encrypted. I told them I don't care about their encryption program, they do not have my permission to retain my credit card info for their records in any way... They told me again, "everything is safe and encrypted." I told them again, "delete my info since the order has been placed and approved." The supervisor told me no. I have to call a special phone number and ASK for my information to be deleted from their system. These arrogant idiots act as if they are doing me a favor and I just don't understand. This is the height of arrogance and this company should be avoided since they do not respect the customer's request.

I had a diamond ring lose a diamond, they replaced the entire ring. Guess what... I'm not satisfied with the replacement, I telephoned Jewel Safe, they sent me a label, and I will return it via UPS. I have never, never had any of these horrible experiences with JTV. I'm sorry you folks have had a bad time of it. The secret is the Jewel Safe insurance policy. It's cheap and it works.

    Earth Grown natural rare stare sapphire jewelry, URH095 - I have been a gemologist 35 years. Happened to turn into JTV last night to hear the host rave about the "natural rare and fabulous" star sapphires. Nowhere in the presentation was it mentioned that the stones are artificially treated (diffused) to produce the star effect and are not rare. When I looked up the product number the website referred to the stones as diffusion treated. Never did I hear the host say that. According to the FTC it is a violation to NOT DISCLOSE ANY treatment that adds value to a gem, at the time of sale. If I heard a salesperson so blatantly lie they would be fired.     I ordered once online and also on phone. They encourage you to get online if unable to get through on phones. When you order by a different means, they open up several accounts. This then leaves you thinking you paid your monthly balance and then they nail you for additional payments for different accounts. I have always been super cautious ordering from TV but wanted to treat myself after being diagnosed with stage IV cancer and bought a couple items. When they failed to send me an electronic statement, they hit me with a late fee which was quite high.

    I have an uncle who is an attorney and I am going to have him look into this matter. I also notice that my bank account is getting hit too often for stretch pays that were never supposed to surpass 4. I will never order from them again as the quality is not worth it and the aggravation far outweighs the sparkle any of the faux jewels portray. I want people who are not lawyers themselves to not get suckered into the scam or the elderly who tend to be at home and have time to watch these programs. There should be much stricter laws in the manner in which they do business.

    I have ordered from JTV since 2000 and in all that time, only lost one item and they replaced it. I had intentions of selling the gems and jewelry for retirement but have not tried to sell any items yet. I have always had good service when I would have to call. Have been completely satisfied with what I bought. I have not purchased much since the economic downturn. Maybe this is what has happened since Jerry passed away. These bad reviews sound like the company has certainly changed.

    I ordered a size 6 ring for my daughter. The ring received was mislabeled size 6, and was more like size 11! It was way too big, returned it, asked for an actual size 6 and explained problem on phone - they replaced it with another size 11 ring. They didn't seem to give a **, disappointed her and me.     I actually worked for JTV in Customer Service. This was the worst experience of my life. The dept did not care about the customers or their concerns. I tried my best to help out and get answers to solve issues with orders. Which there was many, many issues. The managers did not want to listen or care enough to solve a problem. I felt so bad not being able to solve minor concerns that could not be taken care of due to policy. Do not purchase this jewelry. The way in which the product is purchased and distributed is ridiculous. There is no quality control. The only way to communicate to other depts is through email and wait days to receive a response. If you're going to spend your hard working money on good jewelry, shop at Zales or a well known friendly company that does understand and care about their customers.

    I purchased a ring to replace my wedding ring in November. Purchased this with stretch pay totaling $874.99. I received the ring it was OK nor the best but I decided to keep it. I wore it daily of course, it was my new wedding ring. In April a diamond fell out. I called JTV to ask about a replacement. The representative told me to send the ring back thru UPS. They will send me a shipping postage stamp. I was told they could replace it or give me a new one. After going thru sending the ring back and calling to the customer service numerous times.     I placed an order for a ring from JTV on 3/21/15. I paid and received an email confirmation. On 3/24/15 when I checked the estimated delivery date, the order showed cancelled. After calling Cust Service, I was told the ring was "damaged". Lame excuse. I have had 'defective' pieces of jewelry sent to me in the past from them. No explanation, but it was "damaged". I ordered the ring with availability when it was not even being featured on air. Extremely disappointing as I have ordered many pieces of finer jewelry from them. Extremely dissatisfied.     I ordered a 2 carat Holiday special ring, 2 - 1 carat brackets, a pendant and matching earrings. The brackets held together for 1 week - latches on both snapped. I gave the pendant and earrings to my little cousin. She said she had one earring left - everything fell apart or broke. The ring, well the center most stone fell out pretty much right away. Have the warranty and they were fast to send the label and returned. What I received... Crap! The red stone from the band was missing. It was not as thick and sturdy as the other. My girlfriend is gone. So now I'm a cheap **. I know better - you get what you pay for. So don't do it unless you want to be disappointed.

    I purchased a tanzanite ring set in silver having 18 pear shaped tanzanite stones and six diamond chips from JTV in September 2014. Soon after I started wearing this gorgeous ring, it lost that brilliant sparkle it once had on TV and as a new ring. Worse, within the last two weeks, two tanzanite stones have fallen out of the setting. Shame on me for not buying a service contract!     I ordered a ring on 12/27/14. It did not ship until 12/31/14 and has still not arrived - having been lost between UPS Mail Innovations and the Post Office on 1/5/15. JTV made me wait until 1/15/15 before they would file a claim, which would then generate a claim form that would be sent by mail for ME to complete. In the meantime, they have my money.     Biggest mistakes ordering from JTV & Taking offer: Opening a JTV Preferred Account for free shipping. I buy lots over the mail, Internet and the TV. But not much experience buying from JTV. The offer of free shipping if you purchase $100 minimum. What I was not aware of - there is no insurance for lost nor any consumer protection for the lost! Beware buyers all they want is your $$$. USPS lost my packages and JTV refused to help. Also there were a few items not ordered by me that were bundled with my orders and charged to my new Preferred Account. These items were lost by USPS and buyer not able to claim without proof of invoices. Plus items not insured properly. After receiving emails from JTV confirming orders, some were unrecognized orders, I emailed back to remove items not ordered by customer and JTV replied that items will need to be returned and were already shipping which was not true.

    After two weeks of not receiving orders I called and they gave me a tracking number. Most of my orders were returned by USPS due to not able to deliver to customer requiring signature for items. I looked for items at Local USPS but clerk noted can't find on my USPS Post Cards-Sorry We Missed You. Nightmare dealing with customer care disputing restocking/return postage fees plus two lost packages. I disputed lost packages and they told me to call the police, not their matter!

    Wow...Unbelievable! I faxed several pages to JTV Preferred but there is a conflict of interest with me & JTV being their customer too! There is no consumer protection with JTV Preferred Account and JTV is charging me for items never received. Dispute is over the lost of several items bundled together into two large packages. The contents of both large packages held several mixed items with free shipping & shipping charges bundled together. JTV charged customer shipping charges on package weight/size with other items considered free shipping. The package contained mixed items of free shipping with other items containing shipping charges. Customer is being charged several hundred dollars lost by USPS. JTV made it very difficult to retrieve any invoices & refused to send proof of insurance on items.

    Five months later I receive invoices & order history...I now discovered from USPS there is a time period to make a claim with USPS and JTV doesn't care as long as they get their money from JTV Preferred account. And JTV account is charging customer and not helping customer with lost. USPS told me that JTV needs to file claim and appeal lost. Tried to file a claim with USPS but claim filing time frame too late due to delay of receiving invoices and package contents list. Not worth doing any business with either of the two because they are both unworthy: JTV and JTV Preferred Account.

    JTV claims once tracking number is confirmed at customers USPS City that is all the confirmation needed for delivery. Will not help customer when USPS lost packages. And refuse to refund customer for lost. Both JTV & JTV Preferred Account are both terrible to deal with because both are protecting each other and leaving customers out to hang as long as they are able to collect your $$$!

    My mother spent thousands of dollars of product from Jewelry Television. She is mentally disabled and really cannot be buying jewelry. I called today and spoke with a Tonya about returning some pieces that she gave me for Christmas that I cannot wear due to size, allergies, etc. My mother bought the pieces of a course of 4 months sometime over the summer. They will not let me return anything even though the items are still listed for sale on their website because it is past 30 days from purchase and since she didn't buy them from October to December, they don't fall in the extended Christmas return period.     We been watching the show girlfriend Friday. Those 2 sitting there like two fat overweight blobs talking about jewelry and gemstones. Those 2 haven't got the faintest idea about the blue star sapphire, claiming to be the real authentic blue star sapphire. What those 2 are showing is a fake.. White thin lines plastered from top to bottom. They are standing where they are placed by man. Not moving. A true and authentic fake and phony blue star sapphire. The real blue star sapphire the star comes from the inside out and it moves with every turn of the stone and the color is a very soft medium blue. Also the blue star sapphire comes in a much lighter blue. I haven't seen one in years. I owned blue star sapphires.

    I have seen many fake blue star sapphires including the lindy star. Those fake blue star sapphires that showing up on JTV are manufactured in China, Japan, Thailand, India and are sold at JTV for authentic blue star sapphires. People watch yourself. Those are fakes, phony, man-made, plastic resin, or whatever but not real stones. Those fakes been around for some years. Before buying a blue star sapphire, ask proof.. I can give you ideas, what to look for if you are very much interested in a blue star sapphire or pink or black.

    The pink and black star sapphires have not been duplicated like the blue. First of all, the star in the middle of a real authentic blue star sapphire comes from the inside out. The star does not go from end on the stone to the other end, being plastered all over the stone with thin white lines. The real authentic blue star sapphire does not need any kind of light to show that beautiful star inside that will move with every turn of the stone like a authentic opal. The colors like dancing inside. What a fake will not and never do.

    Stay away from JTV jewelry and gems. Those people claiming to know gemstones haven't got any idea about gemstones. They repeat what they been told to say. Scam and swindle the trusting customer. Don't buy parcels or any kind of gemstones from JTV. You will get swindled, mislead and scammed. The gems that JTV sells are the lowest rated stone and not all genuine. Don't ever go to the horse's butt.. You know what comes out of there.

    JTV host, Scott, was waving his arms and yelling that I just had to get their genuine Burma ruby. When I received it, it did not have the "glow" Scott had promised. It was dead. I took it to a reputable appraiser in Manhattan's jewelry district that had been recommended by the GIA. He said it was a ruby of very low quality and wasn't from Burma. I now believe that Scott and other hosts there are nothing more than snake oil salesmen. More than 30 days had passed. So, I still own the "valuable treasure."

    JTV customer service stole out of my Wells Fargo Visa $ 689.47 in 1 day on the 8/18/2014. JTV customer service stole 3 different times on that day - $114.98 again $114.98, again $ 162.98 and on the bottom of the statement it read $392.94 shipping to me 3 of the same items that were never ordered, plus another item was shipped that was never ordered and on the 8/18/2014 they took out another $47.98. It started out I ordered a ring on stretch pay. The statement online confirmed the stretch pay and laid out the payment plan - $ 47.98 down and 3 additional payments of $44.98.

    I also ordered 1 set of a 3 band rings on Bill Me Later. When I got the statement online, they had put 2 sets there instead of 1 set only and already took the money out. At once I emailed them back to cancel that whole order. I got an email back telling me it can't be done, the order is already processed. So I waited for the first order on stretch pay. The order was ordered on the 8/16/2014. On the 8/22/2014 I got the first order. When I opened the package looked at the invoice I couldn't believe what I read. Besides the first $47.98 they took an additional $182.76 out of my Visa.

    On the 8/23/2014 the item with a letter were returned to JTV. They stole an extra $182.76 out of my Visa. On the 8/25/2014 I got 2 packages. I opened the smaller one and found a ring in there that was never ordered exactly like the one I had returned on the 8/23/2014, and again they took $47.98 out of my Visa. I opened that larger package and found 3 sets of those 3 band rings, of the same items that were never ordered and a statement that I wrote above what they stole out of my Visa. I added everything up. They stole without my permission without my authority $689.47 - items that were never ordered.

    I would not have known that JTV stole that large amount if Wells Fargo wouldn't have let me know about an overdraft. I went to the bank to find out about the overdraft. They gave to me a statement where it shows what JTV stole out of my Visa. The packages were returned on the 8/26/2014 and to get all my money refunded or I will make big trouble. First they returned $594.70 after I emailed JTV customer service again. About my money they still owed to me $94.7. They refunded $28.00 and still owe to me $66.77 they will not return.

    I emailed back. I gave them one week to return all my money they stole - a criminal act - or I will put an ad in the papers and all over the internet for people to stay away from JTV and JTV customer service. I believe they pocket the money. Reason when I emailed to them if the president knows what's going on at customer service, they right away refunded that first $594.70. People who deal with JTV should check their bank statements very carefully. JTV customer service will steal them blind. Better yet, stay away from JTV and JTV customer service. They could be the next victim. I believe they did that to me. They are stealing from a lot of trusting customers.

    I was a customer of JTV for about six years. This has been about seven years ago. At that time they were selling tanzanite like it was moon rocks. Every piece/item was promised to be an investment that one day soon people who purchased this gem were going to be millionaires! I had small grandchildren who I thought I was going to be able to pay their college tuition! I was excited beyond compare and even told the children that Nanny was going to pay for their school. WELL, after the big andesine bust, which I was part of too, but got pennies to the dollar of what I spent, the chatter on JTV about tanzanite died down. By then I had spent several thousand dollars chasing that college dream.

    I called JTV and gave them my story and how I felt this situation was just like the andesine lawsuit. I ask if they would buy them back at what I paid for them. The manager wrote me back and said the return time had passed and they could not take them back! Can you imagine, I was offering them their own treasure-trove of gems back, that were going to be priceless by their standards! These people are liars, cheats, and frauds. I hope to see a class action suit regarding their lies and the whole bunch of these frauds put in jail. JTV needs to go down.

    First, I returned my item before the days but was still charged a re-start fee. Also they provide a return label but if you want to ensure they receive in time, you have to pay an additional shipping fee. This means to try their items. You will be paying about 14.00 dollars. They don't refund 100%. In addition, I have had items fall apart, break or the rose over rub off soon after 30 days. I have also seen the show use special color lens to enhance the stones. It seems their products are becoming cheaper but prices are being raised.

    Have been a customer of JTV for many years. I ordered a loose stone, "Moissanite", 10mm round brilliant stone. Have been wearing Moissanite for many years and it still looks great, many compliments. When my order arrived, the stone was beautiful, however, it was a 9 MM, and would not work with my mounting. JTV was going to send a Smart Label, that did not arrive. I used USPS and insured the package being returned. JTV never acknowledged receiving the stone or crediting my account.

    When placing a call to find disposition of transaction, the CS man was adamant that Stone had been measured and was the correct size. He also relayed they never cover returns if there is nothing wrong. It was explained to me how the process works and how tight their regulations are adhered too. This being said, is the recent past I was shorted a product, and had to sign a legal form before being able to receive a credit, however, when they sent two very large beautiful rings, by mistake, I had to sign nothing. The Smart Label was sent to me in a hurry. Am sure the rings were expensive, yet they refuse to cover $10.32 postage because of their mistake. As a customer, it seems there is no regard for my being treated fair. Be aware of their policies and procedures, and know they are not designed for us, the consumer.

    I have complaints about JTV misrepresentations of gem stones to scam the public in to buying fake blue star sapphires. Right now the show is going on with a man host and Michelle showing fake blue star sapphires and peddling them for real and rare blue star sapphires. I happen to know blue star sapphires. What JTV is peddling are lindi stars, manmade fake and phony stones. The real blue star sapphire is rare and I haven’t seen one in some years now. The color is much lighter blue with a beautiful star in the center that moves with every turn of the stone. What JTV is peddling a horrible manmade, ugly looking star in the middle of that fake very dark blue colored stone. The star is stationary and does not move. Also a lie when that crook told the public the stone had to be turned to a certain light to show the star... no such thing.

    Every time the real authentic blue star sapphire is turned the star is there and moves with the stone. Just like the opal the colors are moving with every turn of the stone. Like dancing also the blue star sapphire is highly expensive and hard to find... JTV peddles those phony blue star sapphires for $ 40.00 and $ 70.00 the same with the pink star sapphire. Those crooks, the hostesses scamming, lying and swindling the public with fake gemstones... And people who don’t know the difference will fall for those scams. JTV should be stopped from scamming and lying to the public with fake gemstones. The same with the real alexandrite, JTV peddles a fake and phony manmade stone as the real Russian alexandrite. That stone has been manmade since the 60th.

    I owned a real alexandrite for a short time. I had it set in a gold setting and lost the stone. Here is what the real alexandrite looks like... The stone is cut flat on the bottom very little faceting on the top, large table about a little over 1 ctw. The color of the stone... a muddy color, solid can not be seen through. Looks just like a regular larger brownish looking pebble. But when the stone is turned colors appear red, orange, green. It’s a phenomenon. It does not have to have any special light. I turned it in the store on the counter, the rarest of all gemstones on the planet. This gemstone is not around anymore and worth a fortune. I took it to Mayors. They hadn't seen one in 10 years. Also when I had it set, the lady came running up to me asking me if I knew what I had. I told her yes, she had only once in her lifetime seen one. That is the reason I believe that JTV is peddling fake and phony manmade alexandrite for real Russian alexandrite.

    Very few people ever have seen the real rare alexandrite, not even a handful. That is why JTV is scamming the public with the fake stone and telling the public the stone they peddle is the real alexandrite. It’s not. It’s fake and phony and the hosts and hostesses from JTV scamming and swindling the public with those phony stones. I had several bad experiments with JTV, but the last one did it. I ordered one pair of moissanite earrings, $ 152.00 on stretch pay. In about 5 days I got the package. I opened it and found 2 pairs of those earrings. They took out of my account one stretch pay, plus $ 152 for that other pair that was not ordered.

    I immediately shipped both pairs back letting them know that they stole $ 152.00 out of my account without my permission... and at once to return my money back in to my account letting them know over and over the nerve they had to steal money out of my account without my permission. I only ordered one pair of those earrings not 2, one on stretch pay, that was all. I don’t know if they hostages taking it on themselves to scam and lie to the public or they get trained by JTV. They are claiming to know all about gemstones, but as it shows they haven’t got the faintest idea about gemstones.

    They are two methods of lab created sapphires: Verneuil flame-fusion process and Czochralski Method. The Czochralski method produces high quality lab created stones while the other process produces cheap fake looking stones. I am deaf so I do the online chat service. I simply asked the chat representative what method they use. I was told I could read the product description online. I pointed out to them that the only information provided concerning Padparadscha is where the stone is cut and faceted. Not what method or where it is made. It does make a big difference. I told them that was why I was in Chat in the first place asking them. Then I get a message telling me that they are sorry but they have NO information. Really? Incredible.

    I asked for someone there that works there to get the information for me. The chat representative responded that they could NOT GUARANTEE me the information!! Then they asked me for my e-mail so they could send me information that they just typed and told me that they could not guarantee!!! I typed back that was illogical and made no sense. What good is your information if you can't guarantee what you are telling me? I again requested one of their certified gemologists that works there to answer my question. The chat representative told me that if I didn't give my e-mail to them at that time, they would close out our chat window and they would begin to help another customer!!! I told them, "How rude!!!!"

    I told them I would be glad to give them my e-mail if they could ask a gemologist or their buyer the information I was requesting. I said surely someone there knows the answer to my question? The Chat representative closed the window on me. So I tried another representative, same questions, same run around and same rudeness. So I tried again. By this time, they were obviously talking about it amongst themselves because this one began to argue with me that the other representative had done the right things and said the right things to me. Do you realize that there are inferior lab created that look cheap and then there are great ones that you can't tell the difference even to a trained gemologist? All I wanted to know is which method they use? I was told by the rep, "I can't guarantee that information." I will no longer do business with them for this reason.

    I made what I believed was a final payment of $27 on 12/2/13 at 12 am. Bill was due on 12/5/13. Yesterday, 12/14/13, I received another bill from JTV Preferred account in the mail, which stated that I owe them $27 for a late payment, plus the balance from November of $27 which they said they never received, plus $2.00 interest for a total new balance of $56.00. I called JTV, a customer rep told me to fax them my bank statement. The Customer rep I gave my bank info to pay bill on 12/2/13 never made the bill payment for me.

    I purchased an item which never shipped. I contacted JTV's customer care and they said nothing except it was in process. Days later, the item was cancelled by JTV. No one could tell me anything. None of their depts know what the other is doing. I lost out on the item because there were no more in stock. Again today this has happened again. I will purchase items and all ship except one. When you call they tell you nothing. In fact Freddy who is a customer care rep said he doesn't know what shipping does so again no answer. In fact they turn the issue on to their customers.

    First, I would like to start by saying that I have ordered from JTV for some time now and have been pleased with my purchases and with customer service until now. I purchased an amethyst ring from JTV that had a five-star rating. When I got the ring in the mail, I was so disappointed to see that the prongs on one side were bent very far apart. I sent the ring back for an exchange. After checking with a customer service rep, I was told that if you exchange for another of the same style that there is no shipping charge. I waited for a couple of weeks and no new ring in the mail. I called customer service to see if they had received the other ring. They had received the ring, but I was told that they could not find anything wrong with the one I sent back so they refunded my money which takes up to 14 days to show on my account (I had a JTV preferred card).

    I was also charged a shipping fee due to it being credited instead of being replaced. I spoke with 2 different customer service reps that talked to me in a very rude and unprofessional manner. I asked if they were calling me a liar, because there was noticeable damage to the ring that was sent back, I never received any kind of apology, but was told that if I would like to reorder the ring I could and of course with yet another shipping and handling fee. I paid off my JTV card after receiving my credit and cancelled my account. I will never order anything else from these people. Since Jerry Sisk died, their quality and service has gone downhill. I'm just glad that they have so many customers that they can afford to be mean to a few. I have since received an HSN card and have had no problems with them at all.

    A couple days ago and last week, I purchased a couple things and then yesterday, my bank froze our account. Come to find out, it was a person from Tennessee went shopping. The bank notices that everything I purchased was from my state and then all the sudden, there were purchases from the same place JTV is located. I am angry because after an email about this, no one even emailed me to help. Someone that works there or someone hacked their site. Won't ever purchase again from JTV. Is it a coincidence that this has been the same day I used my credit card at JTV and the thieves were in the same town?

    I bought a pendant set in 10K gold a year and a half ago. I wore it frequently and received compliments when I first wore it. Took if off one day to clean it and discovered all the tanzanites had turned a milky white color. Obviously, they dye their tanzanites! Will never purchase from them again.... ever! Save your money, folks, and turn the channel!
